- 0:00Here's your host, Alex Garrett. All Right, Well, a couple of
- 0:07thoughts here tonight. Firstly, firstly, I made a decision because of all
- 0:12the health stuff that's been going on. I'm gonna take a little breather.
- 0:17And I can't believe I'm saying this as we're in June, but I'm take
- 0:20a little breather from the ballpark and I'll be back the week of June seventeenth
- 0:24when the Yanks take on the Orioles and the Braves. But I want to
- 0:29make that announcement. Not that I'm an influential figure or anything, but I
- 0:32wanted you guys to know that that was going on. Hey, you know
- 0:36some interesting things I've been reading up on today, mainly this. According to
- 0:43Westwood One, there's an interesting story about a study revealing podcast listening habits.
- 0:52I got this from the podcast Pro newsletter, so I of course was curious
- 0:57about this, and Inside Radio posted this just about fifteen hours ago. New
- 1:04podcast consumer study focus on back episode and first day listening. Findings from the
- 1:12latest in an ongoing series of studies among weekly podcast consumers show a significant amount
- 1:19of consumption taking place within twenty four hours of a new episode's release and back
- 1:25episode listening are strongest among women and longtime podcast listeners. So if you noticed
- 1:30with this show, by the way, the Alex Scarett podcast networks subchannels of
- 1:34Adapting and One Leg Up on Sports and then the one Like Up with Alex
- 1:41Scarett feature. If you notice these different sub features, I sometimes put the
- 1:48same show on each channel because I realize it's almost like a radio dial.
- 1:52You might not find me here, but you can find me there. You
- 1:55might not listen to One Leg Up on Sports, but you might find me
- 1:57on One Leg Up on Adapting, and it's the same kind of inter twenty
- 2:00content. You might not find me on One Leg Up on Sports, but
- 2:04they're there on One Leg Up on Alex with Alex Garrett, so boom.
- 2:08I try and not mix a match, but be linear and syndicative if you
- 2:15will, of the shows. So Cumulus Media and Signal Hill, in conjunction
- 2:22with Maru Matchbox, surveyed more than six hundred respondents during April, covering many
- 2:29aspects of podcasts listening behavior. Half of the weekly podcast consumers they say,
- 2:38listen to new episodes of our favorite podcast within twenty four hours of release,
- 2:43while twenty one percent say they do you immediately after its release, and then
- 2:47seventy one percent That makes up seventy one percent of the sample. Among heavy
- 2:53consumers, those listening to podcasts for more than six or more hours a week
- 2:59say that thirty percent are listening upon release. So there's an immediacy of podcast
- 3:07consumption, says Cumulus Media Westwood One Arc Audioactive Group Chief Insights Officer Pierre Bouvard.
- 3:15Three fourths of women go back to catch episodes that they missed, compared
- 3:22to sixty two percent of men and sixty seven percent of total podcasts weekly listeners
- 3:29go back to catch missed episodes. So here's my question with all these stats
- 3:32I'm throwing at you tonight, The question is do you listen to the show
- 3:38upon release, like immediately or do you listen to it twenty four to forty
- 3:44eight hours later? Do you catch up on old episodes? Where do you
- 3:49find the podcast? Which outlet are you listening to? This podcast is Thankfully
- 3:55Thanks for to God syndicated on Spreaker, my home ship where everything gets produced
- 4:01and then distributed from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, our radio. Where are you
- 4:09listening to this show? And do you catch up on miss episodes or do
- 4:13you wait for the new ones. That's all I want to know in your
- 4:15email Alex at alex GNYC dot com, Alex at alexgnyc dot com, because
- 4:21I find myself when I syndicate the singular show and put on multiple channels,
- 4:27it gets heard more than just the one. So is that the right approach
- 4:30is annoying to you? Like, what were your thoughts? Just give me
- 4:33your thoughts before we get into Terminilo's take. I want to get into that
- 4:39Westwood One study with you. But again, on the sport side of things,
- 4:45I will not be going to the stadium until the week of June seventeenth,
- 4:49so I'll miss everybody I know. I'll have a little fomo, but
- 4:53it's for the better and I'm on the mon I'm on the men, I'm
- 4:56on the recovery. I think I'm sounding stronger every day. I want to
- 5:00thank Project Als for interacting with us when I posted a bit of the Liul
- 5:04Griggs disease Als episode on my instagram's alex G Production and alex G NYC one
- 5:15where we've kind of formed a partnership with the NR Hour Nithan Media and I
- 5:23have really been tweeting each other, reposting each other, restoring each other,
- 5:28adding to each other's stories. It's been a great connection so far and looking
- 5:31for that to grow. So that being said, go follow the NR Hour
- 5:35Underscore as well, and the many great media personalities out there working their asses
- 5:43off to get you the latest sports news and other things. But that being
- 5:47said, before further ado, I want into this week's Terminello's take. We
- 5:51haven't had one with lou Terminello in quite a while, so here's what we
- 5:57talked about on this week's edition on the Alex skartt podcast Network and one leg
- 6:02up on Sports. Terminello's take was put on hold for a moment, but
- 6:08and Loui, you've been there every several way since I was hospitalized on May
- 6:11twentieth. But here we are back on the air to wrap up a crazy
- 6:16couple of weeks while I was hospitalized and recovering, known as the Rangers Versus
- 6:21Panthers. I mean, let's start there. Would you play with a broken
- 6:25ankle? Let me ask you that to start out, Louis, Okay,
- 6:28Well, hockey players are a different kind of breed and they played with broken
- 6:34bones. But Alex. Most important thing is that I'm glad that you're on
- 6:39the mend, that you're getting better, and I hope that continues. And
- 6:43as always, thanks for having me back. I really appreciate it. But
- 6:47I guess now we'll start with Rangers and Panthers. I mean, look,
- 6:51my ankle didn't fall off during this time, but Jacob Truba's did. I
- 6:58don't understand why the story is now and it's just a bizarre recap to a
- 7:03series in which they even get production from him or the first line. Can
- 7:08we start there, yes, And I mean Truba had did not have a
- 7:15good playoff series. Now maybe we know why he did not have a good
- 7:17Excuse me, he did not have a good playoffs even against UH Washington and
- 7:24Carolina committed a lot of uh bad penalties, turned the puck over a lot.
- 7:31Yes, he had some hits and he was still blocking shots. Man,
- 7:34And you really gotta you gotta give it to these hockey players. They
- 7:39really they really uh leave no stone on turn. They actually do leave the
- 7:45uh you know, their their heart and soul on the ice. The number
- 7:49of block shots the entire injured team had against the Panders, I mean a
- 7:53lot of those guys, Good Drow and others were diving right in front of
- 7:57that puck. I think Wheeler, while he was on the ice, had
- 7:59a couple of blocks too, and he was just back for one game,
- 8:01but he was trying to make an impact. And I noticed that these guys
- 8:05were trying to protect you were the best they could in some games and other
- 8:09games. I questioned the defense to be honest, Well, the Rangers have
- 8:16some decisions to make. I mean, their first line, and you know
- 8:20we're talking about Cryer in Sabana Jad. I mean, let's face it,
- 8:26if Crier doesn't have that magical third period against the Carolina Hurricanes, the Hurricanes
- 8:33probably win that game. And I bet you the Rangers we lost Game seven
- 8:39at home, they would have been reeling. The pressure would have been amazing.
- 8:43But if you look at the totality of the series against the Panthers,
- 8:48the Panthers really were focused. And you know, as I said before the
- 8:54series began, the difference would be the power play and Igorsha Sterkin, even
- 9:01though I thought it was an even series going in, but the power play
- 9:05was a difference. Unfortunately for the Rangers. It's not like we thought their
- 9:09power play was one for fifteen in the Eastern Conference Final, and Sir Sterkin
- 9:13was all world off the charts. You can't play goal any better than Igor
- 9:18Sterkin played. But Panarin had had an eight gold drought until he scored with
- 9:28one hundred and twenty seconds to go in the series, coming off a year
- 9:31where we had one hundred and twenty points. Your best players have to play
- 9:35your best in the big games. Panaren, Krider Zabanajad did not. And
- 9:43we're going to find out Any injury updated on Paneren is out of possibility,
- 9:46because now it seems like the one taing in hockey. You find out all
- 9:50kinds of guys playing with all kinds of injuries on these teams. I mean,
- 9:54there's a room of going around that Cono McDavid's been hurt these whole playoffs.
- 10:00Know if that's true or not, but they're not going to say anything
- 10:01now. One of the reasons why they don't say nothing when it happens is
- 10:05because they're afraid that if they say Trooper has a broken ankle, if Paneren
- 10:11has a a shoulder separation, they're afraid that the opposition is going to target
- 10:18those injuries. That's why the NHL when they give out those injury reports will
- 10:22say upper body injury, lower body injury, because they're trying not to prevent
- 10:28further injury. If somebody plays, they don't want to play to be targeted
- 10:31when he comes back or if he plays with that injury. But let's face
- 10:37it, there was too many games in this series where the Rangers went twelve
- 10:41thirteen minutes with no shots on goal. I mean even Saturday night, with
- 10:48their desperate backs to the wall, they went twelve minutes without a shot on
- 10:54goal. This happened multiple times in the Conference final. Everybody was saying the
- 10:58Rangers are going to look desperate. I didn't sense desperation at all. I
- 11:01kind of thought the Panthers were either just controlling the game that well or the
- 11:07Rangers were a little slower overall. I could be wrong, but I just
- 11:09it's it was bothersome. And then the fact that you know, talking about
- 11:13injuries, Florida did him in on Adam Fox a lot with his injury.
- 11:18I mean you could tell he was he was hobbling around, and they took
- 11:22advantage of that, didn't they. Yeah, well that's what that's what you
- 11:26have to do. But the Rangers' problems were they played without the punk way
- 11:30too much in the series. Florida always had the puck and the discipline of
- 11:35the Florida Panthers and playing that for check structure consistently was so impressive. And
- 11:43their ability to play with and protect the small lead. These games were not
- 11:48six to one, these all these games were two to one, three,
- 11:52two, And their ability to protect a small lead was stunning to me.
- 11:58And the Rangers couldnt so they they then they did league Game five and then
- 12:03they just gave it away. It was it was the long disheartening and you
- 12:07kind of knew once actually Game four, my apologies, Game four they had
- 12:11a leader, and then they gave it up. And once that series was
- 12:15tied, didn't you feel like it was shifting the Panthers way? Even though
- 12:18it was tied, you could tell the momentum was in their home of the
- 12:20you know, end of the ice if you will, Yes, I thought
- 12:24that the momentum was on the Panther's side, Alex. They're forwards, their
- 12:28dmon almost were never out of position, the little things that they did the
- 12:35stick check to knock the puck away from Ranger forwards. Winning of the battles
- 12:41along the boards at times, the Rangers places off. They really did,
- 12:48and you know this is management. Put this team together, win the Cup.
- 12:52And let's face it, this is not like the Knicks. Who are
- 12:56you know? They they lost in second round. They had a ton of
- 13:00injuries. But this was a stepping stone for the Knicks. For the Range,
- 13:03this is a failure they had to win the Cup. I mean after
- 13:07last year's blowing the to nothing lead, after winning the first two games at
- 13:13Prudential, blowing to nothing lead to the Devils, and now following up with
- 13:16this, following up a new coach Alex. They've had three coaches since twenty
- 13:22eighteen, Quinn Galant and now Peter Lavalette Kneeling. I thought lobby Let did
- 13:31a great job most of the year. I just feel like something needs to
- 13:35change where they're not passing it all the time. I feel like they did
- 13:39more passing than shooting, and maybe that's because of the Florida defense. But
- 13:41also just take the damn chance and shoot it. I mean, that's what
- 13:45you're supposed to do, are you. Yeah, Well, as they say,
- 13:48shoot that puck on on net and anything can happen. And the Range
- 13:54has really made it easy for Lebrowski, you know, and lebro Browski is
- 13:58a fantastic goaltender. And as we said going in, this was the one
- 14:01series where the Rangers would not have an edge and goal. Even though shaster
- 14:05can play off the charts, he was tested ten times more than Sergei Brabowski.
- 14:13And I mean Shasterkin, I mean the Rangers can extend in the summer.
- 14:16If they don't, they're crazy. Even though he has one more year
- 14:20left on his deal, He's got Jinny Bobrowski is making ten million. He
- 14:24has one year left on his deal, so I assume that the Shasterkin's going
- 14:28to get ten million, especially with the with the cap going going up this
- 14:33year. But this is a failure for the Rangers, and there's no other
- 14:37way to sugarcoat this is not okay. We had a good year and Peneran
- 14:41s put forty nine goals and we won the Presidents Trophy. This this year
- 14:45is a failure for them. That being said, they'll go into next year
- 14:50and they'll they'll probably make some changes on defense. They're not gonna get rid
- 14:54of KeAndre Miller. I don't believe, but he was terrible in this series,
- 14:58he gave the puck away and he wasn't strong on the punk. The
- 15:03Rangers as a team aren't strong on the punk along the boards behind the net.
- 15:07Look how the Pants dominated play behind the net, the Ranger net.
- 15:13But again it's not that Sam Bennett or Matthew could chook or lighting the lamps
- 15:20at a record pace. The area on the ice was so tight, you
- 15:28know, it's it's hard to get scoring chances in the playoffs. But even
- 15:33with the Rangers failure. That being said, next year, the Range is
- 15:37going to be a team again. This is not the end of for them.
- 15:39That's going to be one of the favorites to win the stan Lee Cup.
- 15:43They are President's Trophy this year, Stanley Cup next year. I'm calling
- 15:48it now, all right. Now, here's the other thing that's that's a
- 15:52bit concerning to me is that Crier's time. You know, he just saw
- 15:58actually Pavolski hanging up today for the Stars and they had a grueling series against
- 16:03Edmonton. But I mean, Crider, is he not in the same boat.
- 16:06I know he's been there all the less, but he might be getting
- 16:08up there. I don't know. I just don't know how many years later
- 16:11left with well Joe Pabowski, who retired today. A great career. I
- 16:17mean he was drafted I believe two hundred and fifth overall by uh I guess
- 16:22it was. I guess it was by San Jose. He had scored four
- 16:25hundred and seventy six goals. He's thirty nine years old. Crider is still
- 16:29in the prime of his career. He's thirty three years old, and you
- 16:33know he has time left on his deal. He has three years left on
- 16:37his deal at like six point six million. If you said to me,
- 16:41and if I'm a general mandra on other team, who do you want on
- 16:45your team? And I love Panarin, Crider, Panaren Orzabanajad those three,
- 16:52and you could pick one for your team, I would pick Cryer because he's
- 16:57fast, he's strong, He's tremendous on the power play. His tip,
- 17:03his ability to tip the puck in the net and stand in front is as
- 17:06good as any in the league. He can kill and score penalty. He
- 17:08can kill penalties and score short handed goals. H Crider would be the guy
- 17:14that I would want on my team. I mean they got Zabanachad left at
- 17:18six years at over eight million dollars a year. I don't know about that
- 17:22one. That one, that one's that one's shaky, and I think panera
- 17:26Let's I guess Panerin has a couple of years left. But Miko was very
- 17:30disappointing. I mean, that shot that just went over Labrox. He said,
- 17:34you need to make that, don't you. Well, you would think
- 17:37somebody with that kind of shooting ability and with those kind of hands, you
- 17:45know. And again I don't know. I gotta gotta remember that play was
- 17:48a puck on edge or how you know. Uh, but yeah, he
- 17:51shouldn't be shooting it over the net and you know, and basically uh into
- 17:55this into the netting above the glass to because you give me the line breakdown,
- 18:03you give me the whole picture. Whereas I feel like most of the
- 18:07media, unless you're really into the sport, it's not like you can single
- 18:12out one guy when it comes to hockey. It's not as easy to let
- 18:15me put it that way, whereas easily criticize the guy for striking out looking
- 18:19you know. But but with hockey, I don't think the media goes into
- 18:23the whole analytics of it because it's tough to analyze unless you really follow the
- 18:27sport and follow how lobby Let's making his lines every night. Right, No,
- 18:33I would agree with that. I think to the common eye, the
- 18:37common spectator's I you're on d right. I mean I love the sport.
- 18:42I mean I love the wole sports. I love hockey, and I enjoyed
- 18:48this series very much, as far as Flori's staying to a game plan that
- 18:56you think would be impossible to consistently execute. Now what they're going to be
- 19:03playing the Florida The Florida Panther are gonna be playing the Edmonton Oilers. I'm
- 19:07surprised Edmonton beat Dallas, but they did, and Dallas blew a chance to
- 19:15go up three games to one. They were when two nothing had Edmonton,
- 19:18and Edmonton came back in Game four and Edmonton finished them off. The two
- 19:23best players on the ice starting on Saturday night will be Conor McDavid and Leon
- 19:30Dryside. But the best roster and the best goalie by far or with the
- 19:37Florida Panthers, And it's going to be interesting to see how the Oilers are
- 19:45going to handle that. For check, the Oilers defense shaky. You don't
- 19:53want Conor McDavid coming back to help them get out of their zone. You
- 19:59want Con McDavid to be, uh, you know, in the neutral zone
- 20:02getting ready to accept the pass from from a defenseman. So it's gonna be
- 20:07a very interesting series. I don't think it's gonna be a short series.
- 20:11I think it's gonna be a long series. Obviously, Uh, Con McDavid
- 20:15knows the pressure that's on him since it's taken them this long to get to
- 20:19his first Stanley Cup final. But boy, you really have to, you
- 20:25really gotta tip your hat to the Florida Panthers as they prepare for this series.
- 20:30They have a week off, and I think that I think they're gonna
- 20:33be ready, Alex. I mean I I lean towards I leaned towards the
- 20:37Panthers in the series. But I think it's gonna be an excellent series.
- 20:41And I don't know if you saw the first goal the game the other night
- 20:44on Sunday night, McDavid, in tight spaces just made move after move and
- 20:51and and scored spin moves right, I think I thought, oh my god,
- 20:55Alex, Alex, I don't know if there's anybody else in the NHL
- 20:59who could have done what he did the other night in such a tight space.
- 21:03Well, it just so happens. I haven't David Shirt in the in
- 21:06the in the closet ready to put all right, I'll be well. Number
- 21:11ninety seven and number twenty nine dry sidle. Those two jerseys are going to
- 21:17be the ones that we're gonna be looking at because they're gonna have to carry
- 21:19They're gonna have to carry Edmonton, I mean seek Cody CC. Darnell Nurse
- 21:26very much criticized about these playoffs. It seemed like the last couple of games,
- 21:30Darnell Nurse it hacted the game more. They're gonna need him to do
- 21:34that obviously. Evan Bouchard is a great right right handed defenseman. He's been
- 21:41great for them. Hymen's been great for them. It's goning be an interesting
- 21:45series. I mean I would lean towards Flora, but I'm looking forward to
- 21:48it. And this is the Stanley Cup Final where the two teams are furthest
- 21:57apart. There's never been a Stanley Cup Final where two teams have to travel
- 22:03so far. And I think it's just might get a double overtime one of
- 22:07these games. You know, why don't you do that on getaway day?
- 22:11Well, I think the NHL is going to and I haven't seen I really
- 22:15I should have looked at the schedule, but I did. I think the
- 22:18NHL is going to give them two travel days, So after the game on
- 22:23Monday night down in uh the the greater Miami Miami, Miami area in Sunrise,
- 22:33they are going to have two days off to get to Edmonton and vice
- 22:37versa when they come back. So that that's good, you know. So
- 22:41I think for Florida though, it's gonna be different than uh, than facing
- 22:45the Golden Nights like last year. I mean, I think they have a
- 22:48better matchup coming into this one. Yes, they do definitely have a better
- 22:52matchup. Vegas was deep, Davis was big, Davis was good. Vegas
- 22:57was very very good, and that's why they wanted championship. So now at
- 23:02the same time as we were dealing with some health issues, you know,
- 23:06the Knicks had that weekend before I went in where they kind of it was
- 23:11it was a run of injury. I mean, look, ob even when
- 23:18he tried to play, wasn't the same. It's just if they were a
- 23:21healthier team, they would have beat the Piecers. But we kind of left
- 23:25off before Game six. What was your thought on the rest of that series.
- 23:27And then of course the Celtics, you know, swooping out in Indiana,
- 23:33making Nick fans cringe a little bit because it could you know, it
- 23:36could have been us there, you know. But it's well, a couple
- 23:38of things on game six. On Game seven at the Guard, you know,
- 23:45the uh Pacers came out and shot a record sixty seven percent, sixty
- 23:51seven point never been done before, and they had one hundred one points at
- 23:55the end of three quarters, the most since nineteen sixty three after three quarters.
- 24:00In the seventh game, the teams are even. The Knicks injury,
- 24:06especially to Oh Jay, I don't knowb definitely obviously it was a factor.
- 24:11But again the Knicks were down by twenty five in the second quarter, and
- 24:14you know you could come back and make these little runs, but you knew
- 24:17the Knicks weren't going to come back and win that game. And then when
- 24:19Indiana played Boston in the conference final, well, again, I am a
- 24:25big fan of coach Rick Carlisle, but his his coaching decisions the last eight
- 24:30point five seconds of that game when Indiana was up three really have to be
- 24:37questioned. I mean, he kind of blew that game for them. He
- 24:41blew that game for them. They should have called the time out and moved
- 24:42up to gain all that real estate. So they want to be throwing it
- 24:47so close to their own basket. And the same thing happened, you know
- 24:52in you know, in the game down the road. They're in game three
- 24:57and then of course not having their best player for the last two games,
- 25:00Tyree's Halliburton was a nail. Mcauffin. Indiana is a team on the com
- 25:06it's just not it's just not their time. The Knicks are a team on
- 25:07the com It's just they just have to get better. The knixt problem is
- 25:11what they're gonna do with Julius Randall. And by the way, the Celtics
- 25:15cannot afford to and we'll get to the rand on the second, but the
- 25:18Celtics cannot afford a Jalen Brown by himself doing heroics thing against the MAVs.
- 25:26They have to have everybody, and I mean Jason Tatum and we've talked about
- 25:30this off air. H if he if he doesn't do well, you think
- 25:33the media is gonna go after him, right like he's gonna be a big
- 25:36pressure this this Finals against the Mavericks. I do, and this is a
- 25:41good matchup for Boston. Dallas's best two players are basically guards in Kyrie Irving
- 25:49and in Luca Dantic And obviously Boston has a great defensive guards, you know,
- 25:56led by Jaln Brown. They're getting Chris, I was saying, is
- 26:00back a huge, huge factor coming back on Thursday. I don't know how
- 26:06healthy he is, but we'll find out soon enough because he helps him so
- 26:08much defensively. I am not a Celtic fan. I will never root for
- 26:12the Boston Celtics. I really really don't care who wins this series. I'm
- 26:17ambivalent on that, but I can't see the Celtics losing this series. I
- 26:22think it'll be I think it'll be a long series. But I have to
- 26:25favor the Celtics in the series for sure. I mean, Dantech is probably
- 26:30the second best player in the NBA after Nikola Jokic. Kyrie Irving has been
- 26:34tremendous and but I think the Celtics have will have too much to win.
- 26:41But we'll see again. If the Mavericks win, I wouldn't be surprised,
- 26:47just like I wouldn't be surprised if the Oilers won the Stanley Cup. But
- 26:49I think if I lean towards Flora in the Stanley Cup, I lean towards
- 26:56towards Boston in the NBA Finals. Well, let's go back to the next
- 27:00real quick, because you mentioned Randall, and by the way, I just
- 27:03was thinking about this. Hartenstein was injured as well. I think that came
- 27:07out a couple of days later, and of course Dante di Vincenzo just it.
- 27:12He didn't have that shot like he was having earlier on in the postseason.
- 27:17But in this offseason, I mean, are they gonna come back with
- 27:21these five? I think you gotta think about Brunston and hart for sure,
- 27:25you know obviously coming back, But well, how does the rest of the
- 27:26lineup shake Upler? Well, I mean, Randall has a semi untradable contract
- 27:34and for them to get better, and they have to get better right now.
- 27:41The Knicks saw and we gotta remember this was a very Eastern conference.
- 27:45Isn't gonna be as soft as it was this year. Nobody had an easier
- 27:48run to the NBA Finals than the Boston Celtics. But Orlando's going to get
- 27:52better. They're a good young team. They're going to get better from experience,
- 27:56Indiana's going to get better. I'll know what their cap space is.
- 28:00But somebody's gonna sign somebody. Can the Knicks do that, because right now
- 28:06the Knicks are in NBA never never Land. You're in the middle and you
- 28:11can't get to that next step now. Obviously, with Randall hurt, Brunson
- 28:15expanded his game, became a true superstar, scoring forty points in all lordly
- 28:21that became a famous thing for the Knicks to say workload management. That was
- 28:25a term tossed around a lot this season for the Knicks, right right,
- 28:27And really, the Knicks were won a few teams that didn't give guys days
- 28:33off and games off, which I commend them for. It's gonna be interesting
- 28:40to see what they do with Randal. I mean, I think Randall and
- 28:42uh Jalen Brunston before he got hurt, their chemistry was better. But you
- 28:48know, let's face it, Donte DiVincenzo pretty good player, better defensive player
- 28:56than Julius Randall. Better, he can watch shots. Interesting the Nicks have.
- 29:03It'll be an interesting summer for all of the Winter Sports teams. It'll
- 29:07be an interesting summer to see how they do to improve, so we will,
- 29:14and then in the summer, the Boys of Summer. It just seems
- 29:17like, see, I like these transition I can just go right to the
- 29:19next topic because you make it. He's so easy for me, Louis.
- 29:22But the Boys of Summer. I mean, let's start there with with up
- 29:26in the Bronx. And I've said this maybe all air, but I will
- 29:30say here Sodo al Steinberner, love the Seimer and her family. They've been
- 29:34great to me and everything. But to talk about not having money in a
- 29:41in a year where Jan Soda is a free agent, it just didn't sit
- 29:45well with Mettle, Like, just let him play the game and we'll talk
- 29:48contract after. I don't know. And now the pressure as he keeps performing
- 29:52continues to build even before you know July hits right. Well, you know
- 29:59what I think of one. So I think he's as good as a hitter
- 30:02as Otani. I mean, if you match them up against each other,
- 30:04as far as all air key stats, including on base percentage, I love
- 30:10Soto just the Yankees have two of and and again, as I've said before,
- 30:17I hate lists, but the Yankees have two of the best four or
- 30:22five players in baseball, and Judge and Soto. Uh. And let's let's
- 30:27look at the potential signing of Jan so Yes, he has Scott Boris as
- 30:33his agent. Yes, Scott Boris is tough to deal with. But let's
- 30:37look at the teams in Major League Baseball. Who is going to sign Juan
- 30:41Soto if the Yankees don't. Yes, I know there's always, as they
- 30:45say, that one crazy owner that comes out of nowhere and will give him
- 30:48so much money that he can turn it down. But let's let's let's look.
- 30:53Baltimore is not gonna sign Juan Soto, Toronto's not. Maybe the Rogers
- 31:00Communications has a lot of money, but you know they might be in the
- 31:03mix, maybe just to drive the Yankees' price up. The Red Sox,
- 31:11I don't know. The Red Sox have shied away from these big names.
- 31:15They traded, They traded bets, and you know they traded their guys.
- 31:21Uh. In the Central, the Cleveland, the White Sox. None of
- 31:26those central teams in al are going to go after Soto. In the West,
- 31:30Houston, I don't think so so we know Oakland's not. We know
- 31:36the Angels aren't. You know they would have signed Otani And of course I
- 31:42think the Dodgers over expending themselves. Whether I would be shocked if the Dodgers
- 31:48try to add another big name, big money player. I mean, are
- 31:52they are the Mets gonna go after them? I don't think so. I
- 31:56mean because this year of transition for the Mets is just a smoke screen.
- 32:00I have no I know what did what they're trying to do, but you
- 32:04can't do that. You can't do I mean, the Mets don't do anything
- 32:08well. They don't pitch well, they don't field well, they don't hit
- 32:14well. Do you think one Soto wants to come here and be the savior.
- 32:17He doesn't have to be the savior. On the Yankees, they got
- 32:20judge well. They also have a really unlike other lineups I've seen, they
- 32:24have a supporting cast around them too. I mean, this whole lamp.
- 32:29They have a supporting cast around them. You're you're one hundred percent right.
- 32:31And look what's in the minor leagues. Jason Domingez, who has come back
- 32:37from his injury and has been blasting home runs down in Somerset, New Jersey
- 32:45for the Somerset Patriots. They just moved off to Triple A, and uh,
- 32:49they gotta find a spot for him. The Yankees are loaded the Sodo
- 32:53trade and really was a signing for the Padres. Didn't get that fifty million
- 32:58dollars from their TV deal. I don't think the Padres would resign them anyway.
- 33:01They probably have kept him at least to the trade deadline, not the
- 33:05whole season this year, but I would be surprised. I'm not ready to
- 33:07make a definitive statement saying that he will be a Yankee because as hot as
- 33:15he is and as brilliant as he's been through the first two months, a
- 33:17bad postseason, and the media is unrelenting on him or a band stretched down
- 33:24the stretch of the season with the fans boo. Let's face it, they
- 33:29boot Aaron Judge. What do I really want to be here? I don't
- 33:35know. And you know, maybe the Phillies will be in play. I
- 33:38don't know. It's gonna be interesting to see, but I think, you
- 33:43know, I mean, why would he want to play for the Yankees,
- 33:46especially in that stadium with a left hand swinger like that. It's a beautiful
- 33:51porch, you know, for him? And right now, here's the one
- 33:54fascinating thing about this Yankee season, which everybody that's a Yankee fan, and
- 33:59everybody say the best record, But I'm a standings guy, and I still
- 34:02see the Orioles are nipping at the heels of the Yanks. That's why I
- 34:07love they swept the Giants. Okay, Arson Judge goes in there and lights
- 34:12a fire against the Giants. That's great, they sweep them, But what
- 34:15are you doing against your indivision rivals? I want to still see them.
- 34:19You know, they lost three or four of the Orioles. That cannot happen
- 34:22again this year against the Orioles. And I know they know that, but
- 34:25it's important to restate that they did not do well the first time against Baltimore.
- 34:30They got to fix that up. Look well again, I'll just give
- 34:35you this in nineteen eighty eight. In nineteen eighty eight, the Mets were
- 34:39one and ten. The Mets were excuse me, the Mets were ten to
- 34:45one against the Los Angeles Dodgers and the nationallygue Championship Series they lost to the
- 34:54Dodgers' four games to three. So so yeah, I don't know it,
- 35:02just it. It's so. What I'm saying is the regular season doesn't mean
- 35:07much. No, but I think they are both going to be in the
- 35:12top six and they're both going to play each other. Yeah, and I
- 35:16have to believe the Yanks will. I mean, they could get that first
- 35:20round by they're they're they're all on their way to that. And seven teams.
- 35:23It's funny because obviously the Mets will have a chance, but there are
- 35:29teams like the Astros I think still lingering. You have to think about that.
- 35:32I know they're struggling, but the Astros still have a chance to this.
- 35:36And I know they got not written off, but they were sort of
- 35:39laughed at. But they've been winning a few games here and there. So
- 35:43the Astros are definitely still definitely still in it. They only have to finish
- 35:47six and if they get in, they will be very dangerous. And I
- 35:52don't want to upset you, Lily, but you know, I look at
- 35:55the Mets and they're they're dropping in. I said, the Mets don't do
- 36:00anything else the closed door meeting. So there's that. There are three and
- 36:04five since door meetings, so you know, well, anything could happen.
- 36:08Well again, closed door meetings are great, but you have to have talent.
- 36:14The Mets have no talent. Mcgeal looks washed up, They have no
- 36:17pitching. Their best picture singer has been out of all year, Edwin Diaz,
- 36:23I am sure, and he was okay the first five or six weeks,
- 36:28but he wasn't. Edwin d is of two years ago. And I'll
- 36:30go, of course, those are once in a lifetime years. But uh,
- 36:37he's not one hundred He wasn't one hundred percent. Now he has an
- 36:39impingement in the shoulder. They lose Brooks Rarey for the year, a very
- 36:44good left handed relief pitcher out for the year. You can't win, and
- 36:50they did nothing to improve themselves. They're mediocre. They're bad, and they're
- 36:54boring. And this is coming from a die hard Mets fan. They're bad
- 37:00and they're boring. I can't believe that Sterns sold this bill of goods to
- 37:07Cohen that to reset the organization. I mean, yeah, okay, you
- 37:12want to be like the Dodgers do with the great farm system. You know,
- 37:15I was watching something the other day. I think I was watching the
- 37:16Brewers and the Cardinals last week, and they were talking about a couple of
- 37:20trades that the Brewers made or and I forgot who they made them with,
- 37:24but they would trade for nine guys, and the nine guys at the Brewers
- 37:30gave up not one of them's in the major leagues, and they got Yellich
- 37:35and they got somebody else. And I thought, who was the other guy
- 37:37that they got? And the biggest thing to me was they let Counsel go
- 37:39to the Cubs. I mean, I know, it's just that was on
- 37:45counsel. That was counsel. That was dirty pool by Counsel. You don't
- 37:52blame Sterens for not resigning him then, no, he was. Stearns was
- 37:55gone Brewers by the time. Counsel used the use the Brewers to get a
- 38:04better deal from the Cubs. Pretty wild. Well anyway, you know,
- 38:08and what were I saying about Searns that the Milwaukee playoff years weren't always great
- 38:15under his leadership. I don't know. It's just you're you're right, you
- 38:19are one hund right. But again, a Met fan will say, will
- 38:22be in the playoffs four out of five years, even though the Brewers were
- 38:25one to nine or something like that. So you are right, but you
- 38:30just want to get into the playoffs. I'm looking at the wildcard. The
- 38:32Mets are only four games out, but like, well, that shows you
- 38:37how stupid it is for Major League Baseball to have all these extra teams in
- 38:42the playoffs race. See I saw that they're only four games out, and
- 38:45Alex, there's gonna be a team that's gonna be under five hundred one of
- 38:50these years, and it could be this year. The National League is not
- 38:52strong. You take out the Dodgers and the Phills. I mean, I
- 38:58know the League League, Major League Baseball was trying to even and out by
- 39:02putting DH. But I will say this time and time again, Louis,
- 39:07the NL has not found any struggles in the DH position. It's almost like
- 39:12they put a picture up there still a little bit. I mean it's not.
- 39:15Oh no, I would disagree with you on that. Obviously, the
- 39:19Mets have a good DH and J. D. Martinez. The Dodgers have
- 39:22Otani. I mean, first of all, I now that I see the
- 39:28DH in the National League, and especially I hate the DH. I mean,
- 39:31it takes so much strategy out of out of out of baseball. I
- 39:36really do, and actually I hate what baseball has become. I mean,
- 39:39four times this year a pitchers had seven no hit innings. And one of
- 39:44the great things to watch is a complete game no hitter and seven seven inning
- 39:52guys with pitched no hitters. They've come out. It's ridiculous. Roo was
- 40:00the excitement is. That's one of the best entertainment values, whether you're in
- 40:04the park or watching on TV or listening on radio. The nine inning no
- 40:08hitter that stood out. You don't see that anymore. They've taken away his
- 40:15second start, no hitter through six Boom took him out at right, he
- 40:21was at one hundred pitches. And I watched that game. It was a
- 40:23Friday afternoon a couple of weeks ago. Alex he was dominant, and you
- 40:30know he only he will only start another five days, so he could have
- 40:32gone a few more you know, pitches or what not. But you know,
- 40:37crazy. And by the way, I'm looking at this thing even more
- 40:40as you talk about the losing teams losing records. I mean, how is
- 40:45it that at twenty one thirty nine the bar lit through all the eight games.
- 40:49I don't know. Yeah, it's very very right. I mean,
- 40:52you're right. I mean in nineteen sixty nine, the Mets were nine and
- 40:57a half games out with seven weeks to go in the season, and they
- 41:00finished first and they won one hundred games, not nine games out to finish
- 41:04six being twenty games on the five hundred. It's well, we'll have to
- 41:10see how it all shapes up. But you know, I just think that
- 41:14closed door meeting might have made a difference. I don't know although that they've
- 41:17got it. I don't even know what to blame for the fact that they
- 41:22almost won another game last night and they had six losses in May when leading
- 41:29the eighth. I think if they have won five of them, what would
- 41:34their record be if they were five and long instead of zho and six?
- 41:38Right, bro, if you have those five wins, they'd be like thirty
- 41:42and thirty five, right, So you know it's it's a huge difference.
- 41:47Now, someone who is trying to make a difference in her sport was Russ
- 41:54you know, really really roughed up the other day. And I know it's
- 41:58just it's a but for for NBA or the BNBA says, that's not a
- 42:02legal push by by miss Kennedy. What are your thoughts on Caitlyn Clark and
- 42:08uh and that push. I think I think this girl's jealous of her that
- 42:13pushter right, Well, again, I don't understand and apparently and I guess
- 42:21there's a montage of clips that the Indiana Fever have put together that they send
- 42:25to the league about Caitlyn Clark being fouled about being called. Let's face it,
- 42:32she's a rookie. She's a highly regarded rookie, and they're gonna take
- 42:37shots there see if she could take it. Well, obviously she can take
- 42:39it. But what happened on Saturday was not like she was battling for loose
- 42:45ball on the floor at court. It wasn't a mad scramble under the basket
- 42:52and things happened. I mean, this was premeditated by Kennedy Carter on a
- 43:00pass. And to make it worse, Angel Rees a very good player.
- 43:06She leads the WNBA as a rookie in rebounding celebrating it. Angel Rees has
- 43:12issues, you know, she's all about Angel Rees. Caitlin Clark isn't about
- 43:15Caitlin Clark. She's about helping her team win. And the Indiana Fever are
- 43:22a because obviously they had the worst recor in the league, and they had
- 43:30the number one pick, and they correctly picked Caate and Clark. Caitlyn has
- 43:34done a spectacular job. I mean, the six Networks that televised WNBA have
- 43:42all had their highest ratings this year. Now, five of those six games
- 43:46had the Indiana Fever and Caitlin Clark involved. But don't these players see it?
- 43:53I mean a WNBA draft drew over two million on ESPN, which I
- 43:58think last year drew like four hundred thousand. Nobody, kids, Let's face
- 44:01it. I'm I am really happy that women's sports are on the way up,
- 44:08whether it be the UH National Women's Soccer League, this great premier women's
- 44:15hockey league that got off the ground in January and had a tremendous first season,
- 44:22and the w NB every night for those games, by the way,
- 44:27so there were sellouts almost every night. I am a big proponent of women's
- 44:36sports because I think athletics teaching you so much about how to handle yourself every
- 44:44day in life. But what they what what these people who are crapping on
- 44:49Caitlin Clark. Uh, They're They're wrong, they really are. I mean,
- 44:54look at the revenue streams, how they've increased because of Caitlin Clark.
- 45:00She has lifted WNBA. Believe that nobody gave a crap about you. I'd
- 45:05actually lift all her critics and and those that are jealous of her. She
- 45:12may raise those paychecks to one day, you know. So there's no doubt
- 45:16about it, Alex, They're all going to get paid now. Shennany Carter
- 45:22her passes revealed. Did you know that she had been benched or suspended by
- 45:27the Atlanta Dream in twenty twenty one? He conduct detrimental to the team.
- 45:31So she's had other she's had other issues. This is a problem player,
- 45:37and yet she keeps being signed. And to me, I wonder why not
- 45:43because of you know the fact that she's the girl or woman or I should
- 45:45say or whatever. Why is she still being inside she has all these issues,
- 45:50that's my question. For a start. Apparently, and I've never seen
- 45:53her play, but apparently she averaged seventeen points as a rookie in twenty twenty.
- 46:00Uh so she she probably has some talent. But again, just like
- 46:04in uh, in men professional sports, everybody thinks that they can handle the
- 46:10problem child. That's why, uh, that's why the Chicago Sky signed Carter.
- 46:16That's why you see it in the NBA or the NFL, whether it's
- 46:20Odell Beckham or whether it's Antonio Brown, they all think that they we can
- 46:24handle we can handle a problem child and talent wins until it just tears up,
- 46:31tears up your team. But Billy Jean King said it today. Here
- 46:37is the number one woman who fought for women's sports more than anybody. The
- 46:43w NBA better not blow it with this Caitlin Clark situation. They better get
- 46:47this under control. You know they do, and you know, and where
- 46:52is where are people like Sue Brn and Megan Rapino, all these crusaders of
- 47:00for women's sports. Where are they silence crickets? Diana Tarazi did she say?
- 47:06I think what Harrison Bucker is going to say next? I guess right,
- 47:09So there's that. Well again again it's it's a basketball play. I
- 47:17think it got way too much attention. But uh, you don't want your
- 47:22meal ticket to get uh say, start where they start with a premeditated hipcheck
- 47:29what's next, Kevin McHale, Kurt Kurt Rambas clothesline. Take a look at
- 47:35that in nineteen eighty four NBA finals. I mean that was unbelievable. So,
- 47:40yes, the league is it is rugged. I'm sure it is just
- 47:45like like like the like the NBA has been throughout its history. But let's
- 47:51face it, in the previous twenty four to twenty five years of the WNBA.
- 47:53Really, do they ever have this kind of attention? No, they
- 47:57have, No, they did not. Well and by the way, speaking
- 48:01of a problem child, did you see what happened in baseball before I let
- 48:04you go today? A actual ban from the game? Yep? Or a
- 48:10San Diego Padre let me get his name right here to Kapeta Marcano. No,
- 48:15I guess this is a fallout because they also simultaneously cleared show. Hey,
- 48:22so this must have been part of our investigation finding out about him A's
- 48:25pitcher, Michael Kelly, Padre's pitcher Jay Groom, philly'sn't fielder, Horses Rodriguez
- 48:31and divebacks left picture. I mean, I don't understand how they get involved
- 48:36with this. And by the way, this is what happens when you involved
- 48:39betting in sports for the average fan. The players are gonna get involved to
- 48:44one day, when are they gonna learn that? Well, we kind of
- 48:46said that, you know, since you know they take any sponsorship sponship money
- 48:51from uh fan Duel and Betway and Draft Kings and all the rest of them,
- 48:57that's something like this was gonna happen. But Uh, Marcano's gone for
- 49:02good. I mean, obviously he wasn't a major player. He wasn't Tani.
- 49:07And again I'm not saying this, Oh Tani had to know what is
- 49:13what his buddy was doing. I can't believe. I mean, I'd almost
- 49:15find it hard to believe he didn't know. And if he wasn't Otani,
- 49:20they I'm not. Maybe that's why they're turning a blind eye to it.
- 49:23I'm not accusing Altani of it, but dollars right or something like that.
- 49:29Yeah, I mean, it just seems weird to me, Alex. It
- 49:32would be anybody else. It would be from page News as far as I'm
- 49:39concerned. But you know, it's show hey, and oh, well he's
- 49:44he's getting that's the thing. He's putting money into the league for them,
- 49:46So it doesn't matter, I guess. So it's just it's not right in
- 49:51this. I just I just can't. I just refused to believe that he
- 49:54did not know what was going on, and to be completely cleared today that
- 49:59also, it's like, what what is this? I want to say that
- 50:04you know, what I'm saying is a Hillary investigation something, you know what
- 50:07I mean, it just it's nuts. Anyway, that being said, there's
- 50:13a lot to talk about. I think we did a damn good job.
- 50:16One last thing though, hyr Irving, a former Net, I just feel
- 50:22like we've talked about him a lot. He's found himself in Dallas and he's
- 50:27been the most comfortable. I mean, that is a dynamic duo with Jokic
- 50:30and and and Kyrie and I don't know if you just had that supporting cast
- 50:36member. Once again, we're talking about supporting CAATs member. He hasn't had
- 50:37that right before until Kyrie. Really, so they've gelled this year. You
- 50:43know that they have. You know, Kyrie is who he is. He's
- 50:46a phenomenal talent. I think he's he's one of the best players I've ever
- 50:51seen. Uh. He's the best ball handler in my opinion, since Pete
- 50:57Maravich. He's got a high basketball like you you know, it's a shame
- 51:02that uh uh he's not going to the NBA Finals with the Nets in Durant.
- 51:07But the NBA is sometimes so weird with that stuff. But the uh,
- 51:12Luca and Kyrie do form uh a great one two combination and they have
- 51:21they have excellent chemistry. I don't know if it's if they can beat the
- 51:24depth of the Boston Celtics, it could happen, but it's gonna be tough.
- 51:34But but Dallas has gotten Lively and Gabbert, They've gotten great help from
- 51:39their support guys. So it's gonna be and again maybe Kyrie with Jason Kidd
- 51:45as his coach. And remember Kyrie was a New Jersey Nets fan. He
- 51:50was born and raised in New Jersey. When when Kid was doing his thing
- 51:53for the Nets going to the two finals, maybe there's some kind of some
- 51:57Pontico between those two. I don't know, but the kid is getting Kid
- 52:01is just hoping that he gets four more wins out of Kyrie and Luca to
- 52:07not only have played on an NBA champion with the Mavericks, but the coach
- 52:10the NBA champion Mavericks. So I want to say I got this note today.
- 52:16This is how cool it is to be plugged into some of these things.
- 52:20Apparently Kyrie has launched a new sneaker ahead of the finals, and I'll
- 52:24post that link below, But according to Anta, they partnered with Kyrie to
- 52:30celebrate the Mavericks with a new sneaker called Playoff Energy. So check out that
- 52:35sneaker. And you know, I love these guys. They use their creativity
- 52:37off the court to do something like that and sell it. That's pretty cool
- 52:40marketing right there. It sure is, it sure is. So I'll drop
- 52:47that link below. But Lou always a pleasure on Tourminello's take anything that we
- 52:52didn't lead that we're leaving on the table. I feel like we covered everything
- 52:55up until this point. Yeah, I think I think we did. Obviously,
- 53:00we're going to get into the heat of the summer and the only thing
- 53:02that we're gonna be that's gonna be worth talking about are the Yankees until we
- 53:07get to football training camp at the end of July, so we'll uh,
- 53:14you know, so we'll we'll see those higher. The Bills signed a Olympian
- 53:21football experience is very interesting. I think he was a wrestler, I think
- 53:24I read. But that's a little unique twist to their off season. And
- 53:29I know Aaron's throwing dimes. Aaron Rodgers is looking pretty good. He just
- 53:32gotta, you know, keep at it and maybe stay off the podcast for
- 53:37a while and just spocus on football. What about what say you? Well,
- 53:42he focuses on football. I mean, his attention is never diverted from
- 53:45football. He's he's that dialed in. He's a very smart guy. I'm
- 53:50sure. I know he's going to be on McAfee's podcast once a week.
- 53:53By the way, McAfee getting back to Caitlin Clark. What mcaf he said
- 54:00yesterday about Caitlin Clark, if you haven't seen, it was really uncalled for.
- 54:07So I know he's been in the he's been in the news. A
- 54:09lot of these guys are are in the news for speaking out about this,
- 54:15and apparently Stephen A. Smith said, Uh, some of these gals that
- 54:19are covering the w w n B A I got them their start. I
- 54:21mean even he's chiming in about but his involvement in just this is why I
- 54:25tuned out some of these guys, to be honest. Yes, the gas
- 54:30bags, they don't focus on the task at hand, which is finding a
- 54:36solution. And that's the problem. It is like no one's really uh maybe
- 54:39there are a few of them, but but they're not even finding a solution
- 54:43to something like this. They're just kind of letting the media talk about it.
- 54:46And I think w NBA, I don't know there's issued a statement or
- 54:50not. I haven't seen a statement from the w NBA. Yet I have
- 54:52not, and that's as of five four on Tuesday, June fourth, So
- 55:00that's all you need to know, Louis. As far as that's concerned,
- 55:02the w n B A is maybe uh lack of interest. I don't want
- 55:07to say like interest, but they're not they're not vocal. I'm sure they're
- 55:10worried about about what's going on. But remember, any publicity is good publicity.
- 55:19The w NBA has never had as much publicity as they've had since Clark
- 55:23came into the league, and this incident has even brought it to another level.
- 55:29So everybody's talking about it. Everybody. Yeah, I think wrong,
- 55:36mhm. I think it's overblown. But they're talking about Alex they are.
- 55:40And and the other thing that I will say is we watched how a reporter
- 55:44from India, Indiana was actually suspended for the way he was talking to her
- 55:49during training camp. I mean, every step of the way it's been and
- 55:52now it's it's And remember these w NBA rookies finished their NCAA season, like
- 56:02Clark played in the championship game. A week later, she's drafted. A
- 56:08week after that, she's in training camp and they then they start the preseason
- 56:13and the regular season. There's no break like the NBA player has from draft
- 56:17time, which is going to be at the end of June, I think
- 56:20June twenty seventh or June twenty eighth, until until training camp at the end
- 56:27of September. It's a totally different It's a totally different thing, you know.
- 56:31So, and the other thing I will say, because I've kept an
- 56:35eye on her too, is I gotta give kudos to Kate Martin, who
- 56:38also got drafted in this rookie class, and I think that was huge because
- 56:43she played a big role in IOWA as well, alongside Kaitlyn Clark. So
- 56:46for her to be in the WNBA as well, she needs some kudos out
- 56:51there. So I'm gonna give her to her some kudos as well on this
- 56:54podcast because she's not getting enough recognition for being drafted. Let me put it
- 56:58that way. Well, I'm sure Caitlyn Clark recognizes her teammates contribution to them
- 57:05getting to two straight final fours. So I mean it's those two are the
- 57:12core of IOWA right there, and a couple others, and to see them
- 57:15both in the league is great. It's just we've got to see how this
- 57:19progresses. Now, they did play the Liberty, and I was just thinking
- 57:21to myself, imagine if that happened in New York. That would be disaster
- 57:25if the Liberty did something like this. But we're just a class of your
- 57:29town in that regard, I think, right, Louis, Well, it's
- 57:32easy. It's easy to be classy when you have a super team like the
- 57:36Liberty does. And Sabrina I and Escu class act. Okay, she is
- 57:42a class act, a great spokes spokesman for the league as well, by
- 57:45the way, and we'll see. And one of the point, Tanny Carter's
- 57:50not turning out for the Olympics, but Caitlyn Clark is. And that's my
- 57:53mic drop for this episode. All right, Louie, al right, Alex
- 57:59all right. Hermielo's take once again, loved having you and we'll do this
- 58:02again soon. Absolutely look forward to it and continue to feel better in your
- 58:07recovery. Thank you. One step at a time, sir, talk to
- 58:12you a little bit. That's been Terminello's take with one only louse Termanella
