- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice for sure.
- 0:10Speaker 2: It's time.
- 0:15Speaker 1: No Welcome to the Naughty put Nice Show. I'm your
- 0:17Speaker 1: host from Shooter and it's Saturday, which means idea friend
- 0:20Speaker 1: Mark Looper is with us. Hey, Lupia there, louis here here,
- 0:24Speaker 1: Hey Lupylucer. I'm in Vanity Fair and we're going to
- 0:27Speaker 1: get to it a little bit later in the show.
- 0:29Speaker 1: But Vanity Fair did approfile on me, which should be flattering,
- 0:33Speaker 1: and it is. It is. There's lots about this that
- 0:35Speaker 1: I love. A few things do that have bothered me.
- 0:38Speaker 1: If you follow me on social media, on my Instagram
- 0:41Speaker 1: and TikTok, you will see why I'm a little bit
- 0:44Speaker 1: bothered by this. But I promise you we'll get into
- 0:46Speaker 1: it at the end of the show. And I'm naughtyous
- 0:48Speaker 1: of the day, and let me tell you I'm not
- 0:49Speaker 1: the naughtoust. Okay, let's jump into the show. What time
- 0:51Speaker 1: is it, my friends? It is tea time big story
- 0:54Speaker 1: at the top of the show. This is coming from
- 0:55Speaker 1: our friends over at the New York Post and Megan
- 0:57Speaker 1: Markle is now the family's bread winner as money precious
- 1:01Speaker 1: are growing for Harry and Megan. You don't think about this,
- 1:04Speaker 1: do you? When you think of famous people, you assume
- 1:07Speaker 1: they're all really really rich. They're often nut. My mom
- 1:12Speaker 1: after this Family Fair stories, thinks I'm Taylor's hat, like
- 1:15Speaker 1: she thinks I'm flying around the private jets. I am
- 1:18Speaker 1: the subway. Like just because people are talking about you,
- 1:22Speaker 1: it doesn't mean they're giving you money. And so Megan
- 1:25Speaker 1: and Harry arguably two of the most talked about celebrities
- 1:28Speaker 1: in the world, certainly today, this year, for the last
- 1:31Speaker 1: couple of years. But where's the money coming from? Where
- 1:34Speaker 1: is mark? Talk is cheap? You've heard that expression, humming
- 1:37Speaker 1: your talk is cheap? In fact, talk is free. Who
- 1:40Speaker 1: paying the bills? How are you paying the bills? And
- 1:43Speaker 1: it looks like they're not so Now insider say, money
- 1:47Speaker 1: is really really tight. They have massive costs, security salaries
- 1:51Speaker 1: for their staff, mortgage payments. They don't own that house
- 1:54Speaker 1: at twenty million dollar house, can you imagine the mortgage
- 1:57Speaker 1: on that? And the couple needs millions of each year
- 2:01Speaker 1: to maintain their current lifestyles. Now friends are saying that
- 2:05Speaker 1: Megan is the one who is stepping up to the plate.
- 2:08Speaker 1: So I know, I know she gets a lot of backlash.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I know she can be annoying I know her jam
- 2:13Speaker 1: is a little too running. I get it, I do
- 2:15Speaker 1: get all of it. But I also know Harry's not
- 2:18Speaker 1: doing much to pay the bills now. Inherited money when
- 2:21Speaker 1: his mommy died. He inherited money from his great grandmother,
- 2:25Speaker 1: Queen's mother when she passed, so he did have millions.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Let's feel sorry for them here, Mark Mark if we
- 2:31Speaker 1: had their bank account, we'd be okay. But we live
- 2:34Speaker 1: lovely lives. But we don't live in palaces in Montecito.
- 2:37Speaker 1: We don't have security, we don't have stab and so
- 2:40Speaker 1: you can live a very very lovely life if you
- 2:43Speaker 1: don't have all those expenses. It's like a business, isn't it.
- 2:47Speaker 1: What's coming? And it has to be more than that
- 2:50Speaker 1: what he's going out financially. They're spending a lot of
- 2:53Speaker 1: money and not a lot of money is coming in.
- 2:56Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Well, I will say this, I always have fut that said.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Megan Markle is a hustler. Will yes, she will hustle
- 3:04Speaker 2: to anywhere that needs to be visited. She will go
- 3:06Speaker 2: to any show, she'll go to any network, she'll take meetings,
- 3:09Speaker 2: and she'll make things happen for them. Where Harry, you know, respectfully,
- 3:13Speaker 2: he's grown up with a silver spoon in his mouth,
- 3:15Speaker 2: and he's had this lovely, charmed life that's been set
- 3:18Speaker 2: up for him. And if he didn't meet Megan, maybe
- 3:21Speaker 2: he'd still be living that life. And he doesn't know
- 3:23Speaker 2: the hustle. He doesn't know how to, you know, really
- 3:25Speaker 2: shake people down for an opportunity here and for money.
- 3:27Speaker 2: So they're different in this way, and this is where
- 3:30Speaker 2: I think causes tension in a relationship.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so much. I have a hustle because
- 3:36Speaker 1: I'm a working class kid from Birmingham, England. It will
- 3:38Speaker 1: always be my burns. I remember Madonna saying her daughter
- 3:41Speaker 1: Lordus will never have Madonna's hustle because Lordus grew up
- 3:44Speaker 1: rich from the day Lordus was born. Her mom's Madonna,
- 3:48Speaker 1: She had staff. They live in a multi several multimillion
- 3:51Speaker 1: dollar home. So I'm not really blaming Carrie here. What
- 3:54Speaker 1: I am curious about is he didn't have the insight
- 3:57Speaker 1: to realize this. If you leave the palace, if you
- 4:00Speaker 1: leave the family business, if you leave any job, all
- 4:02Speaker 1: the perks go away. I can't quit my job and
- 4:06Speaker 1: then still expect to have an expense account. I can't
- 4:08Speaker 1: send them. He checked. I don't have an expense account
- 4:11Speaker 1: that even just if you're listening. And so if you
- 4:14Speaker 1: leave the job, whatever the perks of that job are,
- 4:16Speaker 1: they go away. Well, the perk of the job is
- 4:18Speaker 1: he's never had to pay rent from the day he
- 4:21Speaker 1: was born. The Royals aren't paying rent to live in palaces.
- 4:26Speaker 1: They're not paying their staff bills, they're not paying their
- 4:28Speaker 1: travel bills, they're not paying their security bills. Now now
- 4:32Speaker 1: Harry and Meghan have to pay it. And she's the
- 4:35Speaker 1: one out there hustling. She's the one trying to make
- 4:38Speaker 1: make the money. Now, we should be clear. His book
- 4:42Speaker 1: earn't millions, so he has got he can do. It's
- 4:45Speaker 1: whether you want to do the work, isn't it. It's
- 4:47Speaker 1: really hard. I can tell you to write a book.
- 4:48Speaker 1: It's not as easy as you think. And he had
- 4:50Speaker 1: a ghostwriter. I didn't. I did it all myself. And
- 4:53Speaker 1: so there is there is more opportunities for them. My
- 4:56Speaker 1: fear here it's that their brand now is so tarnished
- 5:00Speaker 1: that even if they both hustle, and I don't think
- 5:02Speaker 1: he ever will, But even if they do, I don't
- 5:04Speaker 1: know what they've got to hustle anymore who wants them
- 5:07Speaker 1: because it is exciting to be around royalty and famous people.
- 5:11Speaker 1: But companies don't care about excitement. They care about money.
- 5:14Speaker 1: They care about bottom line. The celebrities, they're the richest
- 5:17Speaker 1: of the ones that can sell the most product, whether
- 5:19Speaker 1: that be movies or concert tickets. You got to make
- 5:23Speaker 1: the money. And this is something I find so fascinating
- 5:26Speaker 1: about celebrity. Not all celebrities are really really wealthy. There's
- 5:32Speaker 1: a celebrity that I know. I'm not going to say
- 5:34Speaker 1: her name because she would be ashamed of this, and
- 5:37Speaker 1: she shouldn't be. But she used to play the garden.
- 5:40Speaker 1: She used to sell out Madison Square Garden. Now she's
- 5:42Speaker 1: selling out much much smaller theaters and she's had to
- 5:46Speaker 1: really cut cut her expenditure. And I'm really proud that
- 5:49Speaker 1: she's done that, or else she wouldn't be able to
- 5:51Speaker 1: survive being a performer anymore. Should have to get another gig.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Nobody owes you anything. They don't owe you anything, even
- 5:58Speaker 1: if you were a Prince of England. They don't owe
- 6:01Speaker 1: you anything, which brings us to our pole question of
- 6:03Speaker 1: the day. Meghan Markle is now the primary bread winner
- 6:06Speaker 1: in the Sussex household. And she's got two kids too.
- 6:09Speaker 1: It's not just her and Harry, they've got the kids too.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Do you think do you think Harry is okay with
- 6:15Speaker 1: this bit of misogyny here? Isn't there? Like men? Still?
- 6:18Speaker 1: I want to think we live in a new world
- 6:21Speaker 1: where we're all equal, but certain men, particularly privileged men
- 6:25Speaker 1: like Harry. How does it feel now that your wife
- 6:28Speaker 1: she's the one paying all the bills? Here you go
- 6:31Speaker 1: vote on our Twitter page Adnaughty Nice rob Our facebook
- 6:35Speaker 1: page is Naughty Gossip and sure to check back Tomaur
- 6:38Speaker 1: to hear your results. Hey, Loop, what are you working on? Oh?
- 6:42Speaker 2: This is a story. I think you're really gonna like that.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Cute. It's cute.
- 6:45Speaker 2: So Travis Kelcey is saying Taylor Swift is changing him
- 6:48Speaker 2: one spacey.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Bit at a time. Let me explain.
- 6:51Speaker 2: So Travis is giving Taylor Swift credit for expanding more
- 6:54Speaker 2: than just his heart. The NFL star gushed about their
- 6:58Speaker 2: phenomenal London getaway on his new Pot's podcast, revealing the
- 7:02Speaker 2: superstar singer has pushed him far outside his culinary comfort zone.
- 7:06Speaker 2: And I had really good food and enjoyed some plays,
- 7:09Speaker 2: Travis said, praising their Broadway deep night and calling at
- 7:12Speaker 2: dinner at London Hatspat Jacana, I think remarkable the stars,
- 7:18Speaker 2: admitted he barely knew what he was ordering and simply
- 7:21Speaker 2: followed Tiller's lead. He said, I try to act more
- 7:23Speaker 2: like a man when I'm around her and eat foods
- 7:25Speaker 2: I haven't tried before.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Oh oh, I like this. This is a part of
- 7:30Speaker 1: friendship relationships, romantic ones, platonic ones. It's all about expanding
- 7:35Speaker 1: your horizons. I love having friends from every different corner
- 7:39Speaker 1: of the world, every different corner of life, and I
- 7:43Speaker 1: thoroughly enjoy seeing the world, even if it's just for
- 7:46Speaker 1: one night through their eyes. Bruce expanded my horizons. Before
- 7:49Speaker 1: I met Bruce, I didn't really go to fancy restaurants.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I didn't really even divy restaurants. I didn't really go
- 7:55Speaker 1: to restaurants were not part of our repertoire when we
- 7:59Speaker 1: were growing up. We have money for restaurants. I would
- 8:01Speaker 1: guess every single meal. Yes, I can say that every
- 8:03Speaker 1: single meal we had, Each treat was prepared in the home.
- 8:06Speaker 1: We did not go to restaurants. If we really had
- 8:08Speaker 1: a treat once a month, we might go to a McDonald's.
- 8:11Speaker 1: But that was the treat It wasn't It wasn't restaurants
- 8:14Speaker 1: like like this one that that he's going to in London.
- 8:17Speaker 1: And it's not just about money. He can afford them.
- 8:20Speaker 1: He earns a lot of his own money. He could
- 8:21Speaker 1: go to these restaurants. It just wouldn't be in his repertoire.
- 8:24Speaker 1: This wouldn't be in his world. I like it. I
- 8:27Speaker 1: like it. My mom and dad was so kind when
- 8:29Speaker 1: I was little. They took us the theater. They took
- 8:32Speaker 1: us to museums. They took us to a ballet. They too,
- 8:34Speaker 1: took us through an opera. Now we didn't always enjoy it,
- 8:37Speaker 1: but I always enjoy the experience of going Because how
- 8:40Speaker 1: do I know I could love basketball? I don't, but
- 8:44Speaker 1: I could. But I did go to see a game
- 8:46Speaker 1: against my better judgment, boring, but I did. Oh Bruce
- 8:51Speaker 1: once took me to see the Mets play oh Ma.
- 8:54Speaker 1: They run around in a circle for four hours. They
- 8:57Speaker 1: just came really wround. I was so If it hadn't
- 9:00Speaker 1: been for the hot dog that I had, which was delicious,
- 9:03Speaker 1: it would have been a completely wasted afternoon. Has Kevin
- 9:06Speaker 1: has your family? Has your friends expanded? Your life. Mark.
- 9:09Speaker 2: What's grouped with Kevin is that you know, not only
- 9:11Speaker 2: as you got to see New York in the way
- 9:13Speaker 2: that you know we do and the events and the
- 9:15Speaker 2: fun things, but we've traveled together to Greece, for going
- 9:18Speaker 2: to Italy this summer and usually seeing you know, Europe
- 9:21Speaker 2: and everything. But yeah, I mean at your book party,
- 9:24Speaker 2: for example, the amount of people, the characters that you
- 9:27Speaker 2: have in your life, the friends you have, and you know,
- 9:28Speaker 2: we have a lot of these people in common. It's
- 9:30Speaker 2: just so funny because everyone has their own thing going on,
- 9:33Speaker 2: their own personality, their own gifts and talents, and it's
- 9:35Speaker 2: a lot of fun when you're in a room with people.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Lives so lucky. Build that network, build those friends. Pick
- 9:42Speaker 1: a friend, Pick somebody who you probably don't think you
- 9:45Speaker 1: will fit with. I have friends of all different political
- 9:48Speaker 1: persuasions and they don't try to convince me, and I
- 9:50Speaker 1: don't try to convince them. But I love that I
- 9:52Speaker 1: have friends of all different ages. I love that the
- 9:55Speaker 1: more diverse my table is, the better my life is.
- 9:59Speaker 1: And so having to Taylor Swift, come on, I mean,
- 10:01Speaker 1: having her in her life changes everything. That's an extreme example,
- 10:05Speaker 1: but I'd argue Miss des by Taylor Swift, Miss DearS
- 10:07Speaker 1: taking me to places I would never go. I just wouldn't.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I've had such a good time, so I love that story. Okay,
- 10:14Speaker 1: moving along, Stephen Colbert is confessing that he was wildly
- 10:18Speaker 1: attracted to Michelle Williams. Ah, I think she's lovely too.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Do you know what? Sat Bartino's a couple of months
- 10:24Speaker 1: ago and she came in and she had dinner there. Oh,
- 10:27Speaker 1: she's so pretty much on the skin. Oh the skin,
- 10:30Speaker 1: there's not a pimple, there's not a blemish on it.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And the hair. I watched it too. She only had
- 10:35Speaker 1: vegetables barely yet. I didn't speak to anybody at my table.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I just stared at at her. And she was really
- 10:41Speaker 1: nice to the staff too well. Stephen Colbert said that
- 10:44Speaker 1: she was just so lovely that he didn't know what
- 10:47Speaker 1: to do with his eyeballs. And he said, I did
- 10:49Speaker 1: not expect to be so wildly attracted to her, and
- 10:52Speaker 1: I better not look at her in that direction because
- 10:55Speaker 1: the entire interview would be thrown off. He went on
- 10:57Speaker 1: and said it wasn't just her physical beauty, it was
- 10:59Speaker 1: a she was cool, she was really it is really
- 11:04Speaker 1: really beautiful. I love. He also said he fell in
- 11:07Speaker 1: love with Rachel Weiss when she was on his show.
- 11:10Speaker 1: When you do a show like that, and I think
- 11:11Speaker 1: it's ran for eleven years, it's closing, closing very soon,
- 11:14Speaker 1: it's been canceled. But when you meet that many people,
- 11:17Speaker 1: it's what three interviews, two interviews a night, five nights
- 11:20Speaker 1: a week. That's a lot of celebrities, some of the
- 11:21Speaker 1: most talented, most beautiful people in the world. I also
- 11:24Speaker 1: like to and this is why he's a cool. He
- 11:26Speaker 1: said he had a crush on Andrew Garfield. Andrew Garfield
- 11:29Speaker 1: is cool. You can have a crush. I have a
- 11:31Speaker 1: crush on girls all the time. Not maybe romantically, in fact,
- 11:34Speaker 1: certainly not. But you can still crush on everybody out there.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I love this. Have you met them? I've met Andrew
- 11:41Speaker 1: Garfield and I saw him in a play, very very sexy.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I don't think i've met Rachel Wise. I have met
- 11:47Speaker 1: Michelle Williams, and I agree there's something about her. What
- 11:49Speaker 1: do you think?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I went to a premiere a few years ago
- 11:52Speaker 2: for a movie she was in, and then after priorty
- 11:54Speaker 2: at this swanky restaurant right across the street, and she
- 11:57Speaker 2: was standing right behind me and she just closed right
- 12:00Speaker 2: her hair. There's something about her aura that you can't
- 12:03Speaker 2: really put your finger on, but she is someone who
- 12:04Speaker 2: stands out in a special way, and so I get it.
- 12:07Speaker 2: You know me too. I've worked at shows over the
- 12:09Speaker 2: years and you meet so many people and you can
- 12:11Speaker 2: tell that sometimes they just have something that that X
- 12:13Speaker 2: factor you can't be fer.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I was on the Rechel Ratio. I had a
- 12:18Speaker 1: regular gig on the Rachel Way once a month. It
- 12:20Speaker 1: was called chattertow. She fed me and I gave her gossip.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Kind of a cute, very TV sort of segment. Maybe
- 12:26Speaker 1: a little eighties and nineties, but nevertheless it was a
- 12:29Speaker 1: little retro. I'm not sure the Shares would do that today,
- 12:32Speaker 1: but nevertheless I went on once a month and I
- 12:35Speaker 1: was backstage and I bumped into Brad Pitt and I gasped,
- 12:39Speaker 1: he's a movie star. Julia Roberts system that to me too.
- 12:43Speaker 1: When you see Julia Roberts, it's a movie movie star.
- 12:49Speaker 1: I know some of them, I'm not so loved. I
- 12:51Speaker 1: saw Kate Hudson recently. Oh I couldn't even be bothered.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I didn't even bother that couldn't be bothered. I know
- 12:57Speaker 1: there's some of them, oh dear, and all the those housewives,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I can't be bothered. But when you see somebody like
- 13:03Speaker 1: a Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston is another one.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I gasped when I first met jen I gasped, Yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 2: I thought the same way when I made eye contact
- 13:13Speaker 2: with Angelina joel Lee Sword, I was kind of scared.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Scared a friend of ours, Chanelle was working and I
- 13:23Speaker 1: think it was Anderson Cooper's talk. So and Chanelle told
- 13:26Speaker 1: me she's told this story publicly. She was like a
- 13:28Speaker 1: page there and intern there, and she had to get
- 13:31Speaker 1: a Starbucks to get Angelina a cup of coffee. Andie
- 13:34Speaker 1: went with her. They went together to Starbucks. At Starbucks,
- 13:39Speaker 1: they asked her name, but she said Andrew and they
- 13:42Speaker 1: did that. It's actually I just love it. Okay, quickly,
- 13:46Speaker 1: before we go to break mark, what is going on
- 13:50Speaker 1: now with Blake Lively? More bad news because she's done
- 13:56Speaker 1: more bad things. What's happening every day?
- 13:58Speaker 2: So the journalists at the center of Lively's resurfaced Nightmare
- 14:02Speaker 2: interview says she stayed silent during the opward exchange because
- 14:05Speaker 2: she feared being shut out of Hollywood Forever. Entertainment reporter
- 14:10Speaker 2: drewsty Flawer revealed she's felt trapped while interviewing Lively in
- 14:13Speaker 2: twenty sixteen, saying she couldn't push back because she worried
- 14:17Speaker 2: about the backlash and being blacklisted. I should say, she said,
- 14:21Speaker 2: you always had to take the high road, adding that
- 14:24Speaker 2: negativity could cost you your future in celebrity journalism.
- 14:28Speaker 1: It could, It really could, it could. It's really awful.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I actually did her podcast, Christie I think is her name.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I think she's Norwegian maybe Swedish's absolutely lovely and it
- 14:39Speaker 1: was a big jun kit and she flew in. She
- 14:41Speaker 1: interviewed Blake and Blake was awful. The video still exists,
- 14:44Speaker 1: and I would imagine Blake's people would like this video
- 14:46Speaker 1: to disappear. Blake is so awful. Blake has a baby
- 14:51Speaker 1: bump and she congratulates her on the baby. I think
- 14:53Speaker 1: she's announced that she's she's having a baby. And after
- 14:56Speaker 1: she says congratulations, Blake gets so nasty, so cruel, and
- 15:01Speaker 1: just keeps going. Get this reporter who knows very well.
- 15:04Speaker 1: They can't fight back, like I would say, why you'd
- 15:07Speaker 1: be so mean. I would fight back, but then I'd
- 15:09Speaker 1: be kicked out of the junkets and I'd never be
- 15:11Speaker 1: invited back to the junkhead again. There is something here
- 15:14Speaker 1: that we don't talk about enough, but it's access to celebrities.
- 15:17Speaker 1: And if you upset them, they don't give you access.
- 15:20Speaker 1: And if you're going to interview somebody, if that's what
- 15:22Speaker 1: your job is, you can't have a job unless they're
- 15:25Speaker 1: willing to sit with you, even if they're surly, even
- 15:27Speaker 1: if they're rude, and Blake was both. If Blake didn't
- 15:30Speaker 1: sit with her, there'd be no interview, there'd be no tape,
- 15:32Speaker 1: there'd be no video, And so this reporter wouldn't have
- 15:35Speaker 1: a job but to watch somebody be that cruel and
- 15:38Speaker 1: you know they can't fight back, you know they can't
- 15:41Speaker 1: do It's just that is Blake at her worse. This
- 15:46Speaker 1: video is okay, We're going to take a quick break
- 15:48Speaker 1: and we will be right back. Welcome back to the
- 15:52Speaker 1: Naughty but Nice Show, your host from Shooter. But that
- 15:54Speaker 1: idea friend, Mark Blue POELUPI let's get to the polls
- 15:57Speaker 1: DA DA DA last show, we broke exclusively that the
- 16:00Speaker 1: leett in twenty twenty seven. Next year, it's going to
- 16:01Speaker 1: look very different. It's too much. They've realized how tone
- 16:05Speaker 1: deaf they are. People are suffering, people can't pay their bills,
- 16:08Speaker 1: inflations through the roof. Gas prices are higher than ever.
- 16:11Speaker 1: So what do we do get Jeff Bezos to throw
- 16:13Speaker 1: us a ball? How ridiculous, how tone deaf, how silly
- 16:18Speaker 1: is that they figured it out. It's just not a
- 16:20Speaker 1: good look. It is a fundraiser for the Costume Institute,
- 16:24Speaker 1: so it does great work. It raised forty million dollars.
- 16:26Speaker 1: But did they have to rub their wealth in our
- 16:28Speaker 1: faces while they were raising the money? Inside Vogue? Now,
- 16:32Speaker 1: inside the Met, inside all these institutions that put this
- 16:35Speaker 1: on the Costume Institute, they know there's going to be
- 16:37Speaker 1: massive changes. They're going to cut it back a lot
- 16:40Speaker 1: next year. Is it over? What do you think? Is
- 16:42Speaker 1: the MET just over? Seventy two percent said yeah, you're
- 16:46Speaker 1: just done with it. There's something about it. I think
- 16:48Speaker 1: Jeff Bezos really tipped it over the edge. But it
- 16:50Speaker 1: was teetering. There's something so vulgar, vulgar, vulgar about it. Okay,
- 16:55Speaker 1: don't forget to vote On't today's pole going to add
- 16:57Speaker 1: to a tampeda naughty noise, rob a faz book, major's
- 16:59Speaker 1: norty and be sure to check like tomorrow to hear
- 17:03Speaker 1: your results are that. It's time for the nicest of
- 17:07Speaker 1: the day. Oh.
- 17:11Speaker 2: George Clooney is joking that a mole surprise party could
- 17:15Speaker 2: have cost him his life. George Clooney, it says turning
- 17:19Speaker 2: sixty five nearly became a health hazard thanks to his
- 17:21Speaker 2: wife's elaborate birthday surprise, and they Oscar winner revealed a
- 17:26Speaker 2: mile secretly had friends pose as waiters during his birthday
- 17:29Speaker 2: celebration and Saint Trump as leaving him completely stunned. He said,
- 17:34Speaker 2: it's a dangerous thing to surprise someone when they turned
- 17:36Speaker 2: sixty five because you could drop and that could be
- 17:38Speaker 2: the end of you.
- 17:42Speaker 1: He's so funny, they're so cute together. We're just talking
- 17:44Speaker 1: a second ago mark about stars, movie stars, huge stars
- 17:48Speaker 1: who certainly make our hearts flitter flutter flutter a little bit.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I met George and he didn't do it to me,
- 17:56Speaker 1: Really it didn't. I mean, it definitely was George Clooney,
- 17:58Speaker 1: but I didn't guess. And I think it's because he
- 18:01Speaker 1: made me feel so comfortable. It's not an insult. It's
- 18:05Speaker 1: actually a compliment. He just was like so sort of
- 18:08Speaker 1: nice and regular, and he wasn't. He didn't pretend to
- 18:11Speaker 1: be a movie he didn't want to be a movie star.
- 18:12Speaker 1: He just wanted to be like a regular person. And
- 18:15Speaker 1: I like him. Happy, Happy birthday and that I'm all.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I sat behind them recently at a show, a Broadway show.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I didn't even look at him. I just stared at her.
- 18:25Speaker 1: She is gorgeous and nice. Is the day that I
- 18:28Speaker 1: noticed day? Naughty, naughty, naughty. He's day at the top
- 18:30Speaker 1: of the show. But the not is the day is
- 18:32Speaker 1: Vanity Fair. So they did a profile on me. I'm
- 18:34Speaker 1: very flattered about the profile. They picked a picture of
- 18:37Speaker 1: me Mark. Of all the pictures of me available on getting,
- 18:40Speaker 1: they picked one where it looks like I have a
- 18:42Speaker 1: black eye now. That was taken at the party we
- 18:45Speaker 1: had for my book two weeks ago. Mark, I did
- 18:47Speaker 1: not have a black eye that night. But if you
- 18:49Speaker 1: go to Fair, you don't have to read the story.
- 18:51Speaker 1: But this picture, somebody the photo department at Vanity Fair
- 18:55Speaker 1: does not like your friend robs shooting. They do not
- 18:58Speaker 1: because this picture is cruel. It reminded me of sex
- 19:01Speaker 1: in the city where Carrie Bradshaw's on the cover of
- 19:03Speaker 1: New York magazine. But they use the worst of So
- 19:08Speaker 1: part of me wants to brag to everybody I'm in
- 19:12Speaker 1: Vanity Fair. I've made it. I'm important enough to be
- 19:15Speaker 1: in valid affair. But the other part of it is like, oh,
- 19:17Speaker 1: I don't want to tell anyone, it's so embarrassing. But
- 19:20Speaker 1: I sent you the picture. Did you guess?
- 19:22Speaker 2: I guess, but I hope the story. I read it
- 19:24Speaker 2: and I think you can lead and leave victorious. So
- 19:27Speaker 2: I am happy for you.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you. There's a little little condescension to
- 19:33Speaker 1: the story, like they definitely talked down to me a
- 19:35Speaker 1: little bit. I get it. Vanity Fair thinks it's so fancy, honey,
- 19:39Speaker 1: you gossip bit about celebrities. Just asion I'll see. Let's
- 19:44Speaker 1: send it with a moment of rubb. How to be happy,
- 19:49Speaker 1: Let's do this today. How to be happy? Happiness is
- 19:51Speaker 1: not something you find, it's something you practice. So stop
- 19:54Speaker 1: waiting for the wait perfect job, or the perfect body
- 19:57Speaker 1: or the perfect relationship. Don't wait for that perfect moment
- 20:01Speaker 1: to finally feel good. Life keeps moving while you are
- 20:04Speaker 1: postponing your joy. Pay attention to the small things that
- 20:08Speaker 1: make you a day lighter. A walk, a laugh, music,
- 20:11Speaker 1: good coffee, a text from a friend. Every time something
- 20:14Speaker 1: little pops up in my life, I stop and enjoy it.
- 20:18Speaker 1: The happiest people, they're not perfect, but they are present.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I'm in the moment and that changes everything. So once again,
- 20:25Speaker 1: stop searching for happiness and find it. I promise you,
- 20:28Speaker 1: if you look around today, many things can make you happy.
- 20:31Speaker 1: When I'm walking down the streets and I see a
- 20:32Speaker 1: cute doggie, I smile. If I see a beautiful flower,
- 20:35Speaker 1: I smile. If I hear music I love, I smile.
- 20:38Speaker 1: I find moments of joy, moments of happiness at least
- 20:42Speaker 1: once an hour. That's my goal. Once an hour. When
- 20:44Speaker 1: I go for my walk today, for two hours, I
- 20:46Speaker 1: will laugh twice. That's my goal. I promise you. I'll
- 20:49Speaker 1: find there'll be a cute baby in a carriage, or
- 20:51Speaker 1: there'll be something a dog barking, or there'll be something
- 20:53Speaker 1: that just makes me happy. Find the happiness, and that
- 20:55Speaker 1: is it for today. Thank you so much for listening
- 20:57Speaker 1: to The Naughty Bit Nice with Rob and Mark show,
- 20:59Speaker 1: a production of elves An iHeartRadio. Don't forget to pick
- 21:01Speaker 1: up a novel. It started with a whisper. It is
- 21:04Speaker 1: available right now, and remember altogether. Now, if you're going
- 21:07Speaker 1: to be naughty, you've got to have let me Sam Marvelous.
