Border Patrol Seizes Record Drug Bust | Washington DC News
Border Patrol in San Diego smashed a record-breaking drug bust in July, seizing over $67 million worth of narcotics—more than 8,000 pounds across 144 operations. That includes over 500 pounds of fentanyl, tons of meth, cocaine, and heroin. Officers also intercepted $240,000 in fentanyl hidden in a moped and a vehicle packed with a rocket-propelled grenade launcher and other weapons. These high-stakes seizures underscore the relentless fight to keep dangerous drugs and arms out of communities—and the heroic efforts of frontline agents doing it all.
