Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the program. Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed
- 0:06Speaker 1: paperwork ordering the expulsion of a Cuban diplomat who rushed
- 0:11Speaker 1: the podium when our United Nations ambassador, Mike Waltz, was speaking.
- 0:17Speaker 1: If you missed what happened, this was just the other
- 0:21Speaker 1: day when you had UN ambassador to the UN, Mike Waltz,
- 0:25Speaker 1: He was speaking about all of the private luxury holdings
- 0:28Speaker 1: of these Cuban government officials. And the Cuban foreign minister,
- 0:31Speaker 1: Bruno Rodriguez Perea, charged the podium. Watch this.
- 0:35Speaker 2: I appeal to you to listen to me, and I
- 0:39Speaker 2: ask every— And I'm a representative of the United States
- 0:42Speaker 2: of America.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Back up!
- 0:45Speaker 2: Back up, Ambassador.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Back away.
- 0:47Speaker 2: This isn't Havana. I'm suspending the meeting.
- 0:50Speaker 1: You're not going to intimidate me.
- 0:51Speaker 2: I'm suspending this meeting. Do you understand who you're dealing with?
- 0:54Speaker 2: This is America.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Back up.
- 0:56Speaker 2: The rule is clear. This is the substance of the speech.
- 1:00Speaker 2: There are no procedural... The meeting is suspended. Please sit down.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Sit down.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Ooh, now, the clip Waltz was talking about all of
- 1:14Speaker 1: the ways that the Cuban government officials have enriched themselves.
- 1:20Speaker 1: And he was just laying out facts with receipts from
- 1:24Speaker 1: the podium. And it was at that point, I love
- 1:29Speaker 1: that he didn't yield, first off, because it wasn't just
- 1:33Speaker 1: the foreign minister. It was some of his toadies that
- 1:35Speaker 1: decided to rush up to that podium. I mean, that's crazy.
- 1:40Speaker 1: They accused him of lying. And that's when Waltz was
- 1:44Speaker 1: telling them to back away from the podium, back away
- 1:46Speaker 1: from the podium. And then it escalated into a shouting match,
- 1:50Speaker 1: as you saw there on the floor. It spilled out
- 1:52Speaker 1: of the hallway. It was crazy. And they were talking
- 1:54Speaker 1: about not only what this is, how all of these leaders,
- 1:58Speaker 1: their people live in poverty and they live in luxury.
- 2:01Speaker 1: And this is the intimidation that they that they push for.
- 2:04Speaker 1: This was, I've never seen anything like this. So Rubio
- 2:08Speaker 1: was like, he's out. He is, this guy's, he's, we're
- 2:12Speaker 1: not going to tolerate this anymore. And this is actually,
- 2:15Speaker 1: so we played 15, correct? That was cut 15. Marco
- 2:19Speaker 1: Rubio said that he was signing the paperwork on this
- 2:21Speaker 1: and the guy's going to be out. He's not dealing
- 2:23Speaker 1: with it. He is absolutely not dealing with it. And
- 2:26Speaker 1: they were trying to intimidate not only Waltz, but also
- 2:29Speaker 1: his staff. They tried cutting their microphones. And Wow, watch this.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Just before I came on tonight, Secretary Rubio signed the
- 2:41Speaker 2: paperwork to eject the diplomat that thought he could, the
- 2:45Speaker 2: Cuban diplomat, the first secretary of their delegation, who shoved
- 2:50Speaker 2: and tried to assault one of our American diplomats.
- 2:55Speaker 4: He's gone.
- 2:56Speaker 2: He is going to be on a plane to Havana
- 2:59Speaker 2: within the next 24 hours. You lay a hand on
- 3:03Speaker 2: an American here in the United States, President Trump, Secretary
- 3:06Speaker 2: Rubio and myself, we're not going to stand for it.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Do you know some of the stuff that he showed
- 3:13Speaker 1: when he was up on the stage? He literally showed
- 3:16Speaker 1: off the Cuban regime's Rolex collection and he was showing
- 3:20Speaker 1: off all of their like eighty five thousand dollars on
- 3:23Speaker 1: one of these watches. And he was saying this is
- 3:26Speaker 1: while the people in Cuba sit in the dark, while
- 3:30Speaker 1: they sit in the dark, this is what the regime
- 3:33Speaker 1: is doing. Now, think about it. Beautiful, beautiful country, gorgeous country,
- 3:37Speaker 1: amazing culture. They could be. Oh, my gosh. They could
- 3:42Speaker 1: be like the Caribbean Vegas. I don't know. However you
- 3:45Speaker 1: want to put it. They could be. This is why.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Watch this, though. This is why they got so mad.
- 3:50Speaker 1: One of the reasons.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Reagan's warning about corrupt Cuban elites still holds true, and
- 3:56Speaker 2: it started many decades ago. Let's start with Castro's two
- 4:04Speaker 2: Rolexes that he proudly wore. You're looking at the great revolutionary.
- 4:09Speaker 2: What's on his wrist? Two Rolexes worth $ 40, 000. in today's money.
- 4:15Speaker 2: According to the regime's own statistics, that would pay for
- 4:19Speaker 2: 55 years of an average Cuban wage. It didn't just
- 4:26Speaker 2: start with Castro. This is the current Cuban president. Also
- 4:30Speaker 2: with a Rolex on.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Oh, I love it. Oh my gosh, I love it
- 4:34Speaker 1: so much. And so that the Cuban delegation there, they
- 4:37Speaker 1: were the ones who were just trying, they were hitting
- 4:39Speaker 1: the desks and trying to make noise. They were acting
- 4:42Speaker 1: like little tyrants. Lil' commies. Lil' commies. They're pictures of
- 4:47Speaker 1: the Castros posing with seafood abundance, smoking super expensive cigars,
- 4:54Speaker 1: living the life. And the Cuban delegation sitting there stomping
- 4:59Speaker 1: like brats. Because they were upset that all of these receipts,
- 5:05Speaker 1: because these, as Cain rightfully notes, these are luxuries that
- 5:09Speaker 1: Cuban citizens are disallowed. They're not, they can't even have medicine, hell.
- 5:14Speaker 1: They are not allowed to have any of these things.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And so this is, he was calling them all out.
- 5:22Speaker 1: And Rubio has, they signed these documents and now they're out.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Rubio said, this is not going to happen. They're being
- 5:32Speaker 1: yeeted back to Cuba. I mean, you, first off, you're
- 5:36Speaker 1: in the United States. And Mike Waltz is right. You
- 5:37Speaker 1: don't put a hand on an American diplomat. Secondly, you're
- 5:40Speaker 1: in the United States. When you enter in the United States,
- 5:43Speaker 1: by God, you're going to treat members of our government,
- 5:46Speaker 1: and I don't really care what side they're on, you're
- 5:47Speaker 1: going to treat them with respect. You're going to be nice.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You're not going to stomp like toddlers when they're making
- 5:52Speaker 1: legitimate points backed up with receipts, and those receipts are
- 5:55Speaker 1: photographic evidence of the exact things that he's talking about.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Or you can get out because you're in the U.S.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Now.
- 6:02Speaker 1: And that's what, you know, we always joke about F.U.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Money.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Like J.K. Rowling has F.U. money, right? Bill Gates has F.U.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Money.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Elon Musk has FU money. So does Mark Zuckerberg. The
- 6:14Speaker 1: United States has that essentially on the world stage. Don't
- 6:18Speaker 1: find out. So you also have this. So after Rubio
- 6:23Speaker 1: did this, this is very interesting. Rubio has not been
- 6:27Speaker 1: on the campaign trail. And he is a major asset.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I know for a fact that many in the GOP
- 6:33Speaker 1: have been trying to get Rubio on the campaign trail. Now,
- 6:36Speaker 1: I have talked, I'm going to just tell you, if
- 6:39Speaker 1: Rubio is trying to As a strategy, downplay, any kind
- 6:45Speaker 1: of hopes for 2028, he's doing a really good job
- 6:49Speaker 1: because he has every single top name operative convinced. At
- 6:57Speaker 1: the RNC, I spoke with a number of them, and
- 7:01Speaker 1: every one of them, apparently there has been attempts to
- 7:03Speaker 1: convince him otherwise. Sounds like a lot of attempts, but
- 7:08Speaker 1: he is disinterested in running. He's very, very good with
- 7:14Speaker 1: geopolitical issues. He is really, this is his moment. This
- 7:18Speaker 1: is his time. And he, it's very interesting to see
- 7:23Speaker 1: someone be ready for the time which they're called for.
- 7:28Speaker 1: And he wants to focus on that. He wants to
- 7:30Speaker 1: focus on the diplomatic efforts. And in his perspective, apparently
- 7:34Speaker 1: what's been said is that he does not want that
- 7:37Speaker 1: to hurt or in any way colorize what he's doing
- 7:44Speaker 1: on behalf of the administration overseas. He thinks that POTUS
- 7:48Speaker 1: has enough people in his cabinet, that he's got enough
- 7:51Speaker 1: people in office that can do that campaigning domestically while
- 7:56Speaker 1: he takes care of the foreign policy business for POTUS internationally.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And I get that. And in some ways, yeah, he's
- 8:04Speaker 1: actually right, considering the state of things in the world.
- 8:08Speaker 1: But he did appear in Texas. And this is POTUS.
- 8:11Speaker 1: This is cut one. POTUS invited him on stage. Now,
- 8:14Speaker 1: this is when they were in Corpus Christi, when they
- 8:16Speaker 1: accepted the first shipment of all that Venezuelan oil. First
- 8:26Speaker 1: time he's been on a campaign stage this cycle. He
- 8:35Speaker 1: can't even talk yet. People are cheering. He's just standing there.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Our enemies are weaker, our country is stronger, and our
- 8:43Speaker 2: people are safer because Donald J.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Trump is the president of the United States. Thank you.
- 8:48Speaker 1: That's all he had to say. And he's out. One
- 8:51Speaker 1: and done. And, I mean, if he— look, I'm going to
- 8:57Speaker 1: just tell you this. If this is part of his
- 8:59Speaker 1: strategy to seem aloof, which makes people want it more
- 9:05Speaker 1: if they think they can't have it. then it is
- 9:09Speaker 1: probably one of the most brilliant political tricks I've ever seen.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Because he's got everybody convinced. I mean, big name operatives,
- 9:17Speaker 1: like people who have been kingmakers. We were in, I'm
- 9:21Speaker 1: not going to say who. because that's the only reason
- 9:24Speaker 1: they tell me stuff, because I don't say who told me.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But we were in the Big O' Sweets in the RNC,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and I made a beeline for everybody who knew. I
- 9:34Speaker 1: always go for the people who are in the back,
- 9:35Speaker 1: who know the secrets. That's exactly who I make a
- 9:37Speaker 1: beeline for every time. And I know a lot of
- 9:40Speaker 1: these people, because of my grasswork stuff that I did
- 9:42Speaker 1: during the tea party and all that. And one of
- 9:47Speaker 1: them in particular was... It's the way that they shook
- 9:52Speaker 1: their head. They definitely gave the impression that they have
- 9:56Speaker 1: tried and tried and that it's not happening. That's, you know, now,
- 10:01Speaker 1: like I said, maybe it's a ruse. And if it is,
- 10:05Speaker 1: it is a damn convincing one. But you saw the
- 10:09Speaker 1: popularity there and he got up and he said that
- 10:11Speaker 1: he is just focused on the business of the administration.
- 10:15Speaker 1: And he wears a couple of different hats. I mean,
- 10:17Speaker 1: it's a joke, an ongoing meme online. And I get
- 10:20Speaker 1: it that he wouldn't want to jeopardize that because he's
- 10:26Speaker 1: dealing with some entities overseas. Some of them may not
- 10:29Speaker 1: be willing to kind of work with the Trump administration.
- 10:31Speaker 1: So you got to be good cop, bad cop. And
- 10:32Speaker 1: I get it that it might disrupt that strategy. So
- 10:36Speaker 1: that could be on also just Occam's razor. That's the
- 10:39Speaker 1: easiest explanation. And that's what it is. But still, but still,
- 10:46Speaker 1: it's very interesting to watch the public reception of him.
- 10:50Speaker 1: And I've heard from tons of top fundraisers and bundlers
- 10:54Speaker 1: in the GOP that have all said their dream is
- 10:58Speaker 1: to get Rubio on the campaign trail because he raises
- 11:00Speaker 1: money like nobody they've ever seen. Just saying. We got
- 11:05Speaker 1: headlines on the way. And as we move, the folks
- 11:08Speaker 1: who help make the program possible, it's our friends at
- 11:11Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile, the only Christian conservative cell phone service that
- 11:15Speaker 1: is out there. You know, I've told you I've been
- 11:16Speaker 1: using Patriot Mobile for over a decade. And a lot
- 11:20Speaker 1: of you have made the switch. My whole family uses it.
- 11:23Speaker 1: But for those who haven't switched, what are you waiting for?
- 11:27Speaker 1: I mean, you canceled subscriptions because you didn't agree with
- 11:29Speaker 1: the company's policies. Streaming services, you know, maybe DoorDash. But
- 11:35Speaker 1: yet you still give your money every month to a
- 11:36Speaker 1: cell phone provider that doesn't share your values. If you
- 11:39Speaker 1: have not switched to Patriot Mobile, you are literally funding
- 11:43Speaker 1: the cell phone service that you're using now. You're funding
- 11:46Speaker 1: their political action committees' donations to James Tallarico. You're funding
- 11:52Speaker 1: their donations to people like Abdul El-Saeed. This is true.
- 11:56Speaker 1: You can go and see it on Open Secrets. Why
- 11:58Speaker 1: would you not switch to Patriot Mobile unless you don't
- 12:01Speaker 1: want to save money? Because Patriot Mobile is going to
- 12:03Speaker 1: save you money. They're going to give you that premium
- 12:05Speaker 1: priority nationwide service across all three major U.S.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Networks.
- 12:08Speaker 1: You get the unlimited data plans, international roaming. They have
- 12:12Speaker 1: a 100% U.S.-based customer support team. So you never know
- 12:15Speaker 1: what someone's not. You're never sitting there questioning what someone's
- 12:18Speaker 1: saying on the other end of the line. And you
- 12:20Speaker 1: can get custom plans for businesses and families of all sizes.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile is not sitting on the sidelines. They've been
- 12:25Speaker 1: actively supporting and defending freedom and our constitutional rights. Every
- 12:29Speaker 1: customer call answered by real people. And this is the
- 12:32Speaker 1: only Christian conservative provider. They have a Black Friday offer
- 12:36Speaker 1: right now. So there is no more excuses. Get a
- 12:39Speaker 1: free 5G smartphone plus two months of free service today
- 12:42Speaker 1: using code DANAFRIDAY. It just takes a few minutes. You
- 12:45Speaker 1: can just do it from your sofa, kitchen table, cubicle,
- 12:47Speaker 1: your car. It does not matter. You don't have to
- 12:49Speaker 1: go in. Visit PatriotMobile.com slash Dana or call 972-PATRIOT and
- 12:53Speaker 1: use promo code Dana Friday. That's PatriotMobile.com slash Dana 972-PATRIOT.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Get that free 5G smartphone. Two months of free service.
- 13:01Speaker 1: No more excuses. Make the switch today.
- 13:04Speaker 4: And now, all of the news you would probably miss.
- 13:07Speaker 3: It's time for Dana's Quick Five.
- 13:10Speaker 1: So, apparently, this story from The Independent. Now, this is
- 13:13Speaker 1: a British publication that has a Floridian reporter. But they
- 13:19Speaker 1: said that Americans are being forced to skip meals because
- 13:22Speaker 1: grocery prices are skyrocketing. Are people actually skipping meals? I mean,
- 13:27Speaker 1: I do intermittent fasting, so I only eat twice a day.
- 13:31Speaker 1: But they said half, according to this survey, and I
- 13:34Speaker 1: have not broken out the survey, it was done by
- 13:36Speaker 1: a financial firm. Grocery prices, they said, have risen 28%.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Ground beef has risen. Coffee has risen. And they said
- 13:44Speaker 1: that obviously it's having a major impact. But is it
- 13:48Speaker 1: really to where people are actually skipping meals? That's concerning
- 13:54Speaker 1: because I read different things, different places. It kind of
- 13:57Speaker 1: depends on the bend of the publication. Well, this isn't
- 14:01Speaker 1: going to help three pounds of crab legs. Sorry, three
- 14:03Speaker 1: thousand pounds of crab legs. If you're like three pounds, whatever.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Three thousand. How about that? Stolen from the back of
- 14:09Speaker 1: a tractor trailer in a Philly cargo heist. Man, you
- 14:13Speaker 1: better keep that on ice. They're investigating because thieves stole
- 14:16Speaker 1: tons of cases of frozen snow crab. The driver called
- 14:20Speaker 1: police at 4 a.m. saying men had broken into his
- 14:22Speaker 1: trailer while he was sleeping. He told police he saw
- 14:25Speaker 1: six men loading the cases into a pickup truck. When
- 14:27Speaker 1: he got out to confront them, one of the thieves
- 14:29Speaker 1: chased the driver down the street. They took off in
- 14:32Speaker 1: multiple vehicles. They made out with two pallets. They contained
- 14:35Speaker 1: 50 boxes, 30 pounds each, total of 3,000 pounds in
- 14:38Speaker 1: stolen seafood. I can't even imagine how much you think
- 14:41Speaker 1: that is. They don't have a price in here, but
- 14:42Speaker 1: I'm curious. Yeah, that is a lot.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:46Speaker 1: So they're still investigating it. Oh, yeah, it does. This
- 14:50Speaker 1: is absolutely accurate. So candy corn. Actually, it should be
- 14:54Speaker 1: number one because we all know that the best Halloween
- 14:55Speaker 1: candy is candy corn, followed by Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
- 14:59Speaker 1: The 25 best candies ranked. I'm going to be upset,
- 15:01Speaker 1: aren't I? They have candy corn at the very bottom,
- 15:05Speaker 1: which is a lie. I'm just going to say it.
- 15:07Speaker 1: It's a lie. Blow pops are 12. Twix are 11.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Skittles are nine. Kit Kats are just disappointment. Nerds are
- 15:14Speaker 1: the dumbest candy ever invented. They're tiny things that you
- 15:18Speaker 1: have to literally feed into your mouth like a pig
- 15:20Speaker 1: at a trough. Otherwise, you get them everywhere. That's horrible.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Snickers is only number five. That's horrific. Butterfinger is a
- 15:27Speaker 1: joke at three. Like, that should be baby Ruth. Sour
- 15:30Speaker 1: Patch Kids at number one. I do agree with the
- 15:32Speaker 1: number two. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups at number one. I
- 15:36Speaker 1: will agree with that. But really, if I had a
- 15:37Speaker 1: plus one over the number one, like a one supreme,
- 15:40Speaker 1: it would be Candy Corn. It's true. Folks who help
- 15:42Speaker 1: make the program possible. It's our friends at AMAC. I've
- 15:45Speaker 1: told you before that it seems like, you know, AARP,
- 15:49Speaker 1: they've tried to be the bouncer for. I mean, when
- 15:51Speaker 1: I was younger, it was like AARP. They represented my parents, boomers.
- 15:55Speaker 1: You know, they were they were like the body, the
- 15:57Speaker 1: bouncers for all of that. But they you know, I
- 15:59Speaker 1: was was like, how are they representing you? Because they're
- 16:01Speaker 1: out there promoting Obamacare. They were promoting Build Back Better.
- 16:05Speaker 1: They were reporting or they were promoting the ironically named
- 16:10Speaker 1: Inflation Reduction Act, which, you know, we all know the
- 16:12Speaker 1: truth about that. So that's not really speaking for the
- 16:16Speaker 1: needs of those older generations. And this is where AMAC
- 16:19Speaker 1: came around. So AMAC is the alternative to this. AMAC
- 16:25Speaker 1: is not like AARP. They share your values, actually, and
- 16:28Speaker 1: they have great advocacy. AMAC stands for the Association of
- 16:32Speaker 1: Mature American Citizens. And with AMAC, it is an alternative
- 16:37Speaker 1: that is about keeping our values intact across America. And
- 16:41Speaker 1: they have more than two million members. They're a real
- 16:43Speaker 1: proven voice in Washington on Social Security, on Medicare, on
- 16:45Speaker 1: the border, and they're making you a great offer. Five
- 16:48Speaker 1: years of AMAC membership for $ 35. It's one payment, and
- 16:51Speaker 1: unlike ARP, your spouse is included. There's a 100% money-back
- 16:55Speaker 1: guarantee as well. $ 7 a year against AARP. $ 79, and
- 16:59Speaker 1: you and your spouse are included. You both get the
- 17:02Speaker 1: member discounts, the magazine, the advocacy. All of it for
- 17:06Speaker 1: five years. Five years for $ 35. Visit amac.us slash Dana.
- 17:10Speaker 1: That's amac.us slash Dana. Join the organization that actually shares
- 17:14Speaker 1: your values. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. Dana Lash with you.
- 17:17Speaker 1: We're at the bottom of the second hour, and I
- 17:19Speaker 1: don't want to waste any time because our friend Brandon Herrera, a.k.a.
- 17:23Speaker 1: The AK Guy, who is running for Texas' Congressional District 23.
- 17:28Speaker 1: He's standing out there in the heat. God love him.
- 17:30Speaker 1: He's at a campaign event. He's dropping in just to
- 17:33Speaker 1: give us an update on what's going on. And first off,
- 17:36Speaker 1: my friend, I saw that you recently traveled. to go
- 17:40Speaker 1: and visit with our troops stationed overseas in Jordan. And
- 17:44Speaker 1: you had a pretty epic photo of that. And I
- 17:46Speaker 1: love what you said because you said that it was
- 17:48Speaker 1: one thing to talk about standing by our troops. When
- 17:50Speaker 1: you're in the U.S., it's an entirely different thing to
- 17:53Speaker 1: be overseas standing with them. First off, God bless you
- 17:56Speaker 1: for doing that. Tell me about that experience real quick.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Oh, it was a pleasure. That was actually back during
- 18:02Speaker 4: the 4th of July.
- 18:03Speaker 3: So I got a call from some of our friends
- 18:05Speaker 3: at the Independence Fund and CENTCOM, and basically they said
- 18:08Speaker 3: that they were trying to find people that would be
- 18:09Speaker 3: willing to go over and entertain troops for the 4th
- 18:12Speaker 3: of July on the military, excuse me, not the military,
- 18:15Speaker 3: but America's 250th birthday. And they were having trouble finding people.
- 18:18Speaker 3: A lot of people wanted to get paid. A lot
- 18:20Speaker 3: of people just didn't want to be out of the
- 18:21Speaker 3: country on the 250th. And to be honest, I didn't
- 18:24Speaker 3: want to be out of the country on the 250 either,
- 18:25Speaker 3: but neither did all of our troops deployed in Jordan,
- 18:29Speaker 3: I'm sure. So it was easy for me to say yes.
- 18:32Speaker 3: It was one of the best trips I've ever taken.
- 18:34Speaker 3: All of the guys out there, the men and women
- 18:36Speaker 3: in uniform, they were fantastic. Just had a fantastic time.
- 18:39Speaker 3: It was awesome. And I'm glad we finally got to
- 18:42Speaker 3: release that video.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I mean, it's amazing. I mean, what a fantastic experience
- 18:47Speaker 1: to be able to go and celebrate Independence Day. While
- 18:51Speaker 1: I mean, with the people who've helped make that happen
- 18:53Speaker 1: as well. You've been crisscrossing your district, talking to voters
- 18:58Speaker 1: absolutely everywhere. You're at a campaign stop right now. From
- 19:02Speaker 1: what I saw and I don't like giving I don't
- 19:05Speaker 1: like doing prognostications because it makes me nervous. But you
- 19:08Speaker 1: have a lot of momentum. I'll say that you have
- 19:10Speaker 1: a lot of momentum. And it looks like, you know,
- 19:14Speaker 1: people are really responding well, especially and I'm not going
- 19:17Speaker 1: to give your your opponent a name check. You know,
- 19:20Speaker 1: you can only play the chick card so many times,
- 19:24Speaker 1: and usually all of them are ridiculous and it's all nonsense.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I have never seen a lazier campaign against you in
- 19:30Speaker 1: my life. Let me just say that, because you're sticking
- 19:33Speaker 1: to the issues, and all your opponent wants to do
- 19:35Speaker 1: is talk about how she's a woman.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll put it this way.
- 19:40Speaker 3: There's a reason why, you know, the DNC is playing
- 19:43Speaker 3: in this race now. Uh, they're spending millions of dollars
- 19:46Speaker 3: from DC, California, New York.
- 19:48Speaker 4: I mean, that.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Lovely gentleman up in Illinois Pritzker, he's dropped over 800,000,
- 19:54Speaker 3: I think in my race, maybe a million at this point. Um,
- 19:58Speaker 3: You know, because if there's anybody who knows what West
- 20:02Speaker 3: Texas needs, it's the Democratic governor of Illinois. But the
- 20:06Speaker 3: reason why, if you look at any of the money
- 20:07Speaker 3: that they're spending in my race, there's a reason they're
- 20:10Speaker 3: not putting her face on anything. There's a reason that
- 20:12Speaker 3: they're not pushing her forward as a candidate who's got
- 20:14Speaker 3: all the ideas and all the answers. We're really excited
- 20:17Speaker 3: that she's our candidate. It's all just slandering me. They're
- 20:19Speaker 3: just trying to toxify me because they know it's impossible
- 20:22Speaker 3: to make her look good.
- 20:24Speaker 1: She's clueless.
- 20:24Speaker 3: She really just doesn't know any of the issues. She
- 20:26Speaker 3: doesn't even know how many counties are in her district.
- 20:28Speaker 3: She didn't bother Googling District 23 before deciding to file
- 20:31Speaker 3: the run for it.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Wow. And she was also I know she was trying
- 20:36Speaker 1: to let me just explain something to everybody here. So
- 20:40Speaker 1: our friend Brandon Herrera, who's running for Texas's 23rd congressional district,
- 20:44Speaker 1: He's financing his own campaign. He takes grassroots dollars. He
- 20:49Speaker 1: does not give billionaire money from people like multi-billionaire J.B. Pritzker, who,
- 20:53Speaker 1: by the way, fled to Florida after he locked Illinois down.
- 20:57Speaker 1: This is a real one of the most the realest
- 20:59Speaker 1: grassroots campaigns I think I've ever seen. And, you know,
- 21:03Speaker 1: when I look at what you're offering, like actual solutions,
- 21:06Speaker 1: you're not just talking 30,000 feet above the issues. Like
- 21:08Speaker 1: you're talking about, okay, this is how we can improve
- 21:10Speaker 1: energy for Texas. This is how we can improve, you know,
- 21:13Speaker 1: gas prices and border issues and et cetera here in Texas.
- 21:17Speaker 1: She's just talking about you. I went through her entire timeline.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I went 32 tweets back.
- 21:22Speaker 3: 32.
- 21:23Speaker 1: 32. They're all about you. Every single one of them.
- 21:27Speaker 3: She built her entire campaign around just talking trash about
- 21:30Speaker 3: me so much to the degree that she forgot to
- 21:33Speaker 3: have a platform. And it was very obvious during our debate.
- 21:36Speaker 3: I think the moderators did an amazing job of asking
- 21:39Speaker 3: for specific policies and legislation that we'd like to see
- 21:42Speaker 3: pushed forward. And I stuck to the issues on that
- 21:44Speaker 3: because I actually have legislation that I want to push
- 21:46Speaker 3: forward to solve all of those individual issues or to
- 21:49Speaker 3: at least attempt to.
- 21:51Speaker 4: And she didn't have anything.
- 21:52Speaker 3: The only thing she said, if you look back at
- 21:54Speaker 3: every single answer she had, it's, well, this issue is
- 21:56Speaker 3: really important to me and it will be a priority. Like, OK, well,
- 21:59Speaker 3: that's not an answer. Like that's that's how you play
- 22:02Speaker 3: politics and just kind of like, well, this is really important.
- 22:04Speaker 3: It's like, I know that's why they ask the damn question.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:07Speaker 1: That's like why it's why it brought why it came up.
- 22:10Speaker 1: We're talking with our friend Brandon Herrera. He's running for
- 22:12Speaker 1: Texas's 23rd congressional district here. And you're right there in
- 22:15Speaker 1: a border area as well. I was looking at the
- 22:18Speaker 1: closed border and how it has dramatically reduced Texas's crime rate.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Is that still because I know now that we have
- 22:25Speaker 1: a closed border and, you know, voter, I will say
- 22:27Speaker 1: are independent, conservative, libertarian minded people tend to sort of
- 22:32Speaker 1: get apathetic. Like we think this is done. Box check.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Next thing. But you still have to maintain it. Is
- 22:37Speaker 1: that still a priority issue for the voters that you're
- 22:39Speaker 1: talking to?
- 22:41Speaker 3: Oh, 100 percent, because we were really ground zero at it.
- 22:43Speaker 3: So Texas District 23 is about 22 percent, I think,
- 22:47Speaker 3: of the entire state of Texas.
- 22:48Speaker 4: It's almost a quarter of the state. It is the
- 22:50Speaker 4: biggest border district in the entire country.
- 22:52Speaker 3: It's just south of San Antonio to Eagle Pass, all
- 22:55Speaker 3: the way out to El Paso. So we were ground
- 22:58Speaker 3: zero of that. Every time you turned on the news,
- 22:59Speaker 3: you saw Texas District 23 when people were talking about
- 23:02Speaker 3: the border crisis. And you have people like my opponent
- 23:05Speaker 3: that are saying that they want to return to catch
- 23:07Speaker 3: and release, that they want to reopen our border. Like
- 23:09Speaker 3: that is just absolutely insane to anybody who lived here,
- 23:12Speaker 3: especially people who lived in these border towns who.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Saw it firsthand.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Everybody here has a story of how, you know, they
- 23:19Speaker 3: had to hide with their seven-year-old daughter in a deer
- 23:21Speaker 3: blind while they were on their own property because illegals.
- 23:23Speaker 4: With rifles are crossing into New York.
- 23:25Speaker 3: 75 year old women are checking the mailbox with a
- 23:27Speaker 3: revolver because they don't feel safe in their own property anymore.
- 23:31Speaker 3: That's what the Biden border crisis brought us. And if
- 23:33Speaker 3: we're not careful, we'll go right back to that. And
- 23:35Speaker 3: the people of my district know better than anyone. That's
- 23:38Speaker 3: not that's not a thing we can do to survive.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:40Speaker 1: And this is one thing that Texans everywhere and even
- 23:43Speaker 1: outside of Texas, if you're not in this congressional district,
- 23:45Speaker 1: I mean, think about the crime rates and what we've
- 23:48Speaker 1: seen with. whether it's illegal immigrants getting CDLs. And we
- 23:51Speaker 1: can trace back a lot of this to the point
- 23:53Speaker 1: of entry at this most porous, formerly most porous, you know,
- 23:57Speaker 1: ground zero, as you were saying, entry zone for the
- 24:00Speaker 1: southern border. I mean, we since the border's been closed,
- 24:03Speaker 1: we saw like a double digit drop in crime in
- 24:05Speaker 1: Fort Worth. I saw it in Arlington. I mean, oh,
- 24:08Speaker 1: my gosh. And we're also seeing reduced drug encounters with
- 24:13Speaker 1: regards to law enforcement, drug seizures, because there's not as
- 24:16Speaker 1: much coming in because everything's been shut down. So this
- 24:19Speaker 1: has been huge. She would reverse fight to reverse every
- 24:22Speaker 1: single one of those and have people. I think it
- 24:24Speaker 1: would be worse because I think that people you would
- 24:26Speaker 1: have the cartels, Brandon, that would probably be mad because
- 24:29Speaker 1: they'd been shut out this entire time.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, they've been looking for alternative revenue streams.
- 24:35Speaker 3: And we would be giving them basically the keys to
- 24:37Speaker 3: the kingdom directly back. I mean, our crime really has
- 24:41Speaker 3: dropped dramatically. Maybe that's not something people see up in
- 24:43Speaker 3: Martha's Vineyard, but for people who are right here on
- 24:45Speaker 3: the ground, seeing it, seeing the home invasions, the car break-ins,
- 24:49Speaker 3: the rampant theft, the rape, I mean, the murders.
- 24:53Speaker 4: This is real people.
- 24:54Speaker 3: And people kind of they contextualize it or they kind
- 24:57Speaker 3: of rationalize in different ways like, oh, well, but that's
- 25:00Speaker 3: not everybody. And, you know, there's a lot of people that,
- 25:02Speaker 3: you know, we have to have empathy for. It's hard
- 25:04Speaker 3: not to have empathy for people that just want a
- 25:05Speaker 3: better life. But the tangible thing is American politicians job
- 25:09Speaker 3: is to make sure that Americans are the ones that
- 25:10Speaker 3: have the better life.
- 25:12Speaker 4: You know, we need to put our people first. Of course,
- 25:14Speaker 4: you know.
- 25:15Speaker 3: We're happy to help people where we can, but we
- 25:17Speaker 3: have to put our people first. And when they're being
- 25:19Speaker 3: raped and murdered in the streets, that's not America first.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 25:22Speaker 1: And that's every other country can put its citizens first.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Every other country can demand that every other country put
- 25:28Speaker 1: its citizens first. But for whatever reason, the United States,
- 25:30Speaker 1: they frown upon us when we advocate for our American
- 25:35Speaker 1: citizens' interests above those of everyone else. And we say, no, no, no,
- 25:39Speaker 1: there's a different process due to you than the due
- 25:42Speaker 1: process for our citizenry.
- 25:45Speaker 4: Absolutely. And again, apologies. Sorry. It hasn't been obvious by now.
- 25:50Speaker 4: We're running ragged.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I know you are.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Of course, I'm like a little under the weather, but
- 25:55Speaker 3: I can't afford to do a James Calarico and disappear
- 25:57Speaker 3: for 13 days.
- 25:59Speaker 1: You can't. What I'll do is I'm going to let
- 26:00Speaker 1: you get back to your event, but I'm going to
- 26:01Speaker 1: ask you one last question. What do you need from
- 26:05Speaker 1: any viewers out there right now to help get you
- 26:07Speaker 1: across that victory line, that finish line, the threshold to victory?
- 26:13Speaker 3: Well, we have a new ad that's coming out. I'll
- 26:15Speaker 3: be posting that actually on OnX later on today. We're
- 26:18Speaker 3: going to try to get that seen by as many
- 26:19Speaker 3: people as possible because I think it points out the
- 26:22Speaker 3: ridiculousness of my opponent, frankly. So supporting us at Brandon
- 26:25Speaker 3: Herrera for congress.com, donating there would be great. But realistically,
- 26:29Speaker 3: I need good co-workers in D.C. We need to get
- 26:31Speaker 3: Republicans all.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Up and down the line, up and down the ballot.
- 26:35Speaker 4: We need to get them into office. And so we
- 26:37Speaker 4: need to do that by turnout.
- 26:38Speaker 3: We've had really good last couple days of early voting
- 26:40Speaker 3: turnout for Republicans in the state of Texas. We're hoping
- 26:43Speaker 3: to have a really big red surge on the actual
- 26:46Speaker 3: election day itself.
- 26:47Speaker 4: We have to keep going. We have to make that offer.
- 26:50Speaker 3: If you have uh, family members who are disabled or,
- 26:54Speaker 3: you know, maybe elderly and they have issues driving and
- 26:56Speaker 3: maybe that's too much of a hassle for them. Make
- 26:58Speaker 3: the offer, make the ask, Hey, does Thursday work for you?
- 27:00Speaker 3: I can pick you up and I can, I'll go
- 27:02Speaker 3: with you to the polls. We'll grab lunch after things
- 27:04Speaker 3: like that. Simple things like that. If everybody at home
- 27:07Speaker 3: does that for one person and their family church or
- 27:10Speaker 3: a neighborhood, we will win this by a mile.
- 27:13Speaker 1: And, and you should, because this would be honestly, I
- 27:16Speaker 1: know we got a lot of, you know, very strong
- 27:18Speaker 1: Second Amendment supporting lawmakers in Congress. But to have a
- 27:21Speaker 1: not only a Second Amendment supporting member of Congress, but
- 27:24Speaker 1: a truly firearm literate member of Congress. That is like,
- 27:29Speaker 1: you know, my birthday's in September, so I know it's
- 27:31Speaker 1: a really long way away next time around. But that
- 27:33Speaker 1: could be an early birthday present to me or a
- 27:35Speaker 1: Christmas present to everybody else. I'm just saying, Brandon Herrera,
- 27:38Speaker 1: I Godspeed, my friend. We're going to be watching it, folks.
- 27:41Speaker 1: You can go to Brandon Herrera for Congress dot com.
- 27:44Speaker 1: And you can also find him on X as well.
- 27:46Speaker 1: We're going to be watching. We're going to be encouraging, pushing,
- 27:49Speaker 1: and helping however we can from up here in the
- 27:51Speaker 1: DFW Metroplex. But Godspeed, my friend. And take care of yourself.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Get well soon.
- 27:55Speaker 4: I appreciate it, Dana. Thank you so much.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Of course. We'll talk again soon. Folks, that's Brandon Herrera.
- 28:01Speaker 1: And you can also find him at The AK Guy
- 28:03Speaker 1: on social media. And I mean it legitimately, the truly
- 28:06Speaker 1: a firearm literate. candidate with him in Congress, there is
- 28:11Speaker 1: not going to be a single shred of anti-gun legislation
- 28:16Speaker 1: that is going to sneak through. Not a one to
- 28:20Speaker 1: have something like that. I mean, he will notice to
- 28:23Speaker 1: have something like that. Oh, my gosh. It's like we've
- 28:27Speaker 1: waited our whole adult lives to have Somebody that firearm
- 28:32Speaker 1: literate go into Congress. You do not let an opportunity
- 28:35Speaker 1: like this go by, folks. So, you know, I'm not
- 28:38Speaker 1: saying vote early and vote often. But if I have to,
- 28:41Speaker 1: we've got more on the way as we roll towards
- 28:44Speaker 1: days of these United States, our partners that are bringing
- 28:46Speaker 1: that make the program possible because we are we're capitalists.
- 28:49Speaker 1: But also we like to promote good things that good
- 28:51Speaker 1: organizations do, like Alliance Defending Freedom. With Alliance Defending Freedom,
- 28:57Speaker 1: the freedom is not a gift from the government. Our
- 29:00Speaker 1: rights come from God, and the government doesn't grant those rights,
- 29:02Speaker 1: and it certainly doesn't have the authority to take them away.
- 29:05Speaker 1: But preserving those freedoms, that responsibility falls on we the people.
- 29:09Speaker 1: And now those God-given rights are being challenged and threatened
- 29:12Speaker 1: like never before. ADF relies on people like you to
- 29:15Speaker 1: continue fighting these battles in the courtroom, in state legislatures,
- 29:19Speaker 1: and wherever your freedoms are under attack. And there is
- 29:22Speaker 1: a matched opportunity right now to make your support go further.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Every dollar you give will be matched by a special
- 29:27Speaker 1: grant while funds last. That means your gift today can
- 29:30Speaker 1: have twice the impact in defending the freedom that we
- 29:32Speaker 1: hold dear. Don't wait for someone else to stand up
- 29:34Speaker 1: for your freedoms. Now is the time to act. Visit joinadf.com
- 29:38Speaker 1: slash Dana or text Dana. to 83848 to make twice
- 29:41Speaker 1: the impact for freedom today. That's joinadf.com slash Dana or
- 29:45Speaker 1: text Dana to 83848. It's his life mission to make
- 29:51Speaker 1: bad decisions. It's time for Florida Man. Man, I have
- 30:01Speaker 1: never heard of making a deal like this. A Florida
- 30:04Speaker 1: man who was accused of murder, he decided that he
- 30:09Speaker 1: was going to offer the police his confession. We're going
- 30:13Speaker 1: to need that photo of this fellow, too. Definitely going
- 30:16Speaker 1: to need a photo of him. He offered his confession
- 30:20Speaker 1: to police in exchange for a Philly cheesesteak, fries, and
- 30:27Speaker 1: a Pepsi. All he wanted was a Pepsi. The Florida
- 30:31Speaker 1: man is accused of killing a woman that he allowed
- 30:34Speaker 1: to stay in his house. And he said that he
- 30:35Speaker 1: would offer the court, he'd give everybody a full confession
- 30:39Speaker 1: if he was granted a meal of his choosing. Robert
- 30:42Speaker 1: Kessler chose to, he represented himself in court. And he said,
- 30:47Speaker 1: per the New York Post, he's on trial for the
- 30:50Speaker 1: murder of this woman, Stephanie Crone Overholt, who's, oh, this
- 30:54Speaker 1: is horrifying. whose dismembered remains were discovered in a bay
- 30:58Speaker 1: near Kessler's home. Now, in a video obtained by Law
- 31:00Speaker 1: and Crime, Kessler surprised the court by asking the judge
- 31:04Speaker 1: in his case if he could give a confession in
- 31:07Speaker 1: order to forego a trial and save the taxpayer. He
- 31:10Speaker 1: just wanted... Don't you cheer that. No, there he is. Oh,
- 31:13Speaker 1: I thought you were saying... Yeah, that's right. I mean,
- 31:15Speaker 1: does that not look like a guy who would literally say,
- 31:17Speaker 1: I'll confess if you give me a Philly cheesesteak, fries,
- 31:19Speaker 1: and a Pepsi? For those of you listening terrestrially, imagine, Doc,
- 31:25Speaker 1: From Back to the Future, but crazier. And in an
- 31:28Speaker 1: orange jumpsuit. That's what you got. The judge was stunned
- 31:33Speaker 1: and asked for clarification. And so then the guy, wait
- 31:37Speaker 1: a minute, there's more. Then the guy goes, okay, well,
- 31:39Speaker 1: you know what? Add some onions. That's not what the
- 31:42Speaker 1: judge meant, but this is what the guy's like. He's like, yeah, well,
- 31:43Speaker 1: you know, maybe add some onions, mayonnaise, and a 20-ounce Pepsi.
- 31:48Speaker 1: That's it. And he said, he goes, and I'm also
- 31:51Speaker 1: willing to take punishment of life in prison. I don't
- 31:55Speaker 1: think that that's how this works, dude. You don't go, well,
- 31:58Speaker 1: you know what? I'll work with you. The judge was
- 32:02Speaker 1: trying to tell him, my dude, this is not how
- 32:06Speaker 1: the judicial process works. I can't give food to people
- 32:11Speaker 1: for them to enter a plea. And the judge was like,
- 32:14Speaker 1: you could be wrong a thousand ways, and I guarantee
- 32:17Speaker 1: that you will have lunch today, but I can't guarantee
- 32:19Speaker 1: what it would be. And then Kessler goes, well, the
- 32:22Speaker 1: deal's off the table now. Are you kidding me? This
- 32:28Speaker 1: is like the this is crazy. So, yeah, I feel
- 32:33Speaker 1: like this is not going to go well for him.
- 32:35Speaker 1: But he's like obsessed with the Philly cheesesteak and the
- 32:39Speaker 1: fries and a Pepsi. That's I don't know. A man
- 32:42Speaker 1: was blocking a sidewalk also on a mattress and he's
- 32:46Speaker 1: facing several charges. Oh, man, this is gross. Dirty mattress.
- 32:52Speaker 1: It's like a Lauryn Hill song. The guy's scheduled. This
- 32:55Speaker 1: is what it is. Flipping in the ghetto on a
- 32:57Speaker 1: dirty mattress. You can't match this. Rapper slash actress. I'm
- 33:03Speaker 1: just saying. I don't know how I know that. He's
- 33:05Speaker 1: scheduled to appear in court on November 12th. This is
- 33:08Speaker 1: not the man's first run in with the law. He
- 33:10Speaker 1: was blocking the whole sidewalk on a mattress. And two
- 33:13Speaker 1: people were trying to walk and they had to get
- 33:15Speaker 1: in the street. And, oh, by the way, when they
- 33:17Speaker 1: looked into the mattress, there's a reason why he was
- 33:19Speaker 1: very attached to the mattress because it was stuffed with meth.
- 33:25Speaker 1: And other drug paraphernalia. So the meth mattress. So the
- 33:31Speaker 1: guy was charged with, oh, a lot. Manufacturer sale, delivery
- 33:35Speaker 1: of meth, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, and for good measure,
- 33:39Speaker 1: obstructing a passageway with his meth mattress. That's a big no, no. Oh,
- 33:45Speaker 1: my gosh. There's more. I mean, I can't read that
- 33:48Speaker 1: one because it's so bad or that one. No, that one. Somebody. Oh,
- 33:53Speaker 1: we're going to talk about the pickleball fight real quick.
- 33:55Speaker 1: I got to do this because it's pickleball. So this
- 33:59Speaker 1: shockingly was not in the villages. The Florida man was
- 34:04Speaker 1: arrested a few days ago because he got into a
- 34:06Speaker 1: fight over pickleball. Would you say, Kane, that old people
- 34:11Speaker 1: are not innocent? Collier County Sheriff's, the guy's 73 years old.
- 34:16Speaker 1: He got into a fight with a dude over pickleball.
- 34:20Speaker 1: And it was a dude and a woman. And the
- 34:23Speaker 1: dude shoved the woman. When she turned around, he shoved
- 34:26Speaker 1: her in the back and she fell into some bushes,
- 34:28Speaker 1: according to a witness. Then, so they were at like
- 34:32Speaker 1: a pickleball event at the Oasis Club. And someone had,
- 34:35Speaker 1: I guess they had snacks because somebody had a slow cooker.
- 34:38Speaker 1: And he apparently grabbed He grabbed a slow cooker that
- 34:42Speaker 1: was involved in this and the whole assault. So he's arrested,
- 34:45Speaker 1: faces a charge of battery. This is all insane. We
- 34:48Speaker 1: have more to come, folks, as we wrap up this
- 34:49Speaker 1: third hour of the broadcast. And we are capitalists. We
- 34:52Speaker 1: cannot do it without the people who make it possible.
- 34:54Speaker 1: And to that event, our friends at Super Beats. This
- 34:56Speaker 1: is a Texas-based company. They're like-minded. And I say this
- 35:01Speaker 1: not as a pejorative, but I say it as a
- 35:03Speaker 1: sign of respect, as a compliment. They're nerds. These are
- 35:06Speaker 1: people who were at UT Austin and they were studying
- 35:09Speaker 1: the effect of nitric oxide on blood flow and how
- 35:13Speaker 1: that helps to support so many other processes in the body.
- 35:16Speaker 1: And so what Super Beats Heart Chews have done, now
- 35:19Speaker 1: they have Super Beats Heart Chews Advanced, which supports the
- 35:22Speaker 1: healthy blood pressure in the circulation. All again, using the
- 35:25Speaker 1: science inspired by Nobel Prize winning nitric oxide research. But
- 35:30Speaker 1: they also have now a full dose of CoQ10. And
- 35:33Speaker 1: so you get the full dose of CoQ10 to support
- 35:36Speaker 1: cellular energy and heart health. And of course, the formula
- 35:40Speaker 1: also includes clinically studied grapeseed extract for blood pressure support.
- 35:43Speaker 1: This has been America's number one beat brain for 10
- 35:47Speaker 1: straight years for a reason. These are clinically studied ingredients
- 35:51Speaker 1: shown to deliver nearly two times more effective blood pressure
- 35:53Speaker 1: support than just diet and exercise alone. There's a reason
- 35:56Speaker 1: why they're trusted by more doctors, pharmacists, and cardiologists than
- 36:00Speaker 1: any other brand. So this is about healthy blood flow
- 36:03Speaker 1: supporting that, supporting heart health, healthy blood pressure, circulation, daily energy.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I take two chews a day. you need to take
- 36:10Speaker 1: it as well, and they've made the deal even sweeter.
- 36:12Speaker 1: You buy two bags of Super Beats hard juice advanced,
- 36:15Speaker 1: and then Human gives you the third bag free. Visit human.com
- 36:18Speaker 1: slash Dana. Human with two N's dot com slash Dana.
- 36:23Speaker 4: Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of
- 36:27Speaker 4: the United States.
- 36:29Speaker 2: This very nation was founded on resistance, even though.
- 36:36Speaker 1: We on stolen land. Oh, for the love of God.
- 36:39Speaker 1: But in the founding of this nation, they were oppressing us.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Taxation without representation.
- 36:47Speaker 2: And we matched that oppression with resistance by throwing tea
- 36:50Speaker 2: into a harbor.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Oh, my word. First off, it's not stolen land. Who
- 36:57Speaker 1: is the nation that was on that land that you're on?
- 36:59Speaker 1: And then what nation did they take it from? And
- 37:01Speaker 1: what nation did they take it from? If you want
- 37:04Speaker 1: to immediately know whether or not someone is an idiot
- 37:08Speaker 1: or not, If they say that, that's a guarantee. That's
- 37:13Speaker 1: basically the physical manifestation of literal damage to their DNA
- 37:18Speaker 1: from stupidity. It just irrevocably alters your DNA and makes
- 37:23Speaker 1: you dumber. And that's a symptom of saying stupid things
- 37:27Speaker 1: like that. Is she going to sell her house? You
- 37:30Speaker 1: better give up your house because your house is on
- 37:32Speaker 1: stolen land. I mean, come on. How far are we
- 37:35Speaker 1: going to go with this? It's so dumb. Give it
- 37:37Speaker 1: to me because my people were here first. My ancestors
- 37:39Speaker 1: were here first. So go ahead and give it to me.
- 37:41Speaker 1: I'll take all y'all's property. I'll take all y'all's monies.
- 37:45Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 37:46Speaker 1: It's just dumb. That's Florida Democrat Angie Nixon. I feel
- 37:49Speaker 1: like even with that audience that really didn't get the
- 37:52Speaker 1: rousing rah-rah that she was wanting, you know, that she
- 37:54Speaker 1: was like, I'm going to say this sentence and it's
- 37:57Speaker 1: going to land and be a firework. And people were like, oh,
- 38:01Speaker 1: they didn't really respond to it. Because they've heard it
- 38:04Speaker 1: probably so many times, but also because it's just a
- 38:06Speaker 1: stupid soundbite. You're on stolen land. Every land would be
- 38:11Speaker 1: stolen then. Every piece of land would be stolen. Who
- 38:14Speaker 1: did the Lakota take theirs from, right? Who did the
- 38:16Speaker 1: Arapaho take theirs from? We could sit here and go
- 38:18Speaker 1: through every nation in North America and South America, Central America.
- 38:23Speaker 1: We could go through all of it, go through all
- 38:25Speaker 1: of Europe, go through Africa, everywhere. That is the nature
- 38:28Speaker 1: of mankind. And it's, by the way, it's called getting conquered.
- 38:32Speaker 1: That is the rule. Stolen land. I love this idea
- 38:38Speaker 1: that progressives have that American Indians were just peaceful, happy
- 38:42Speaker 1: little kittens in sunshine, and they all lived in peace
- 38:45Speaker 1: and love. And they were just like these little hippies,
- 38:47Speaker 1: you know, these little hippies, just the Western ones smoking
- 38:50Speaker 1: their peyote and, you know, living in their teepees in
- 38:53Speaker 1: the plains and, you know, in caves in the east
- 38:56Speaker 1: and all of that. I mean, just living and You know,
- 38:58Speaker 1: living a loving life and then the white man came.
- 39:01Speaker 1: That's not how the history went. That is a historical lunacy.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Stop it. This is an idea they don't even know history.
- 39:14Speaker 1: You know how mean some of these people were here
- 39:15Speaker 1: to each other? Oh, my gosh. Always fights. Always brawling.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Taking other people's women. Always fighting. This happened. This happens everywhere.
- 39:26Speaker 1: There's no perfect people. Again, progressives think that the wise
- 39:31Speaker 1: Indian trope from old Hollywood cinema is a reality. And
- 39:36Speaker 1: it's not. Stop it. Because that's actually, think about it,
- 39:40Speaker 1: that's actually disrespectful. You're trying to remake an entire people's
- 39:45Speaker 1: into being some sort of like innocuous hood ornament. So
- 39:49Speaker 1: what are you doing? Quit. As we move, we have
- 39:51Speaker 1: headlines on the way. Our partner's bringing you the program.
- 39:54Speaker 1: It's our friends over at GhostBed. I sleep on a
- 39:57Speaker 1: GhostBed every single night because it's the best mattress. It
- 40:01Speaker 1: truly is the best mattress. If you are waking up
- 40:04Speaker 1: stiff and sore, if you are struggling to be comfortable
- 40:06Speaker 1: at night, if you're overheating, y'all, that is your mattress.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Ghost Bed is engineered to reduce all of that stuff,
- 40:13Speaker 1: all of the reasons that your sleep gets interrupted. And
- 40:16Speaker 1: so Ghost Bed is designed to relieve pressure. First off,
- 40:19Speaker 1: they treat their mattresses like it's a piece of health equipment.
- 40:22Speaker 1: That's how they design them. It helps regulate temperature, supports
- 40:25Speaker 1: your body, and it's made right here in the US
- 40:28Speaker 1: of A. Cooling tech is also built into every mattress.
- 40:31Speaker 1: It's not some expensive upgrade that you have to pay
- 40:33Speaker 1: extra for. I've noticed the difference right away. You will
- 40:36Speaker 1: as well. I also noticed how differently it's made, just
- 40:38Speaker 1: better quality materials, better construction. Right out of the gate,
- 40:41Speaker 1: you can see it. So GhostBed is made to help
- 40:44Speaker 1: with these exact issues. Now, other companies upcharge you for
- 40:48Speaker 1: cooling tech. GhostBed doesn't. That's just a part of it. Again,
- 40:51Speaker 1: this is a piece of health equipment. You spend so
- 40:52Speaker 1: many hours of your life on a mattress, sleeping, restoring, recharging.
- 40:56Speaker 1: This is a detriment to your health if it's not
- 40:58Speaker 1: doing and performing as it's supposed to. GhostBed has a
- 41:01Speaker 1: 101-night sleep trial. You can try it at home. That's
- 41:03Speaker 1: a real test. And see if you love it, which
- 41:05Speaker 1: you will. So if you're waking up sore, tired before
- 41:07Speaker 1: the day even starts, check out GhostBed. They're offering all
- 41:09Speaker 1: of you an extra 10% off of their already lowest
- 41:12Speaker 1: prices of the season. Visit GhostBed.com slash Dana. Use promo
- 41:15Speaker 1: code Dana. That's GhostBed.com slash Dana. Promo code Dana.
- 41:19Speaker 4: And now, all of the news you would probably miss.
- 41:22Speaker 4: It's time for Dana's Quick Five.
- 41:25Speaker 1: This is like a terrifying, this is a completely terrifying story.
- 41:27Speaker 1: A child was mauled by a wolf at a German
- 41:32Speaker 1: wildlife park. Baby's in critical condition. That's a child. It's
- 41:35Speaker 1: an eight-year-old girl. She was attacked. Everybody under 10 is
- 41:37Speaker 1: a baby to me. Anyway, eight year old girl was
- 41:40Speaker 1: attacked by this wolf at a popular wildlife park in
- 41:44Speaker 1: Brandenburg on Wednesday morning, according to Bild, a German newspaper.
- 41:48Speaker 1: They said emergency services went to the scene. They had
- 41:50Speaker 1: to deploy a rescue chopper from Berlin to airlift the
- 41:54Speaker 1: eight year old to a trauma center. And they don't
- 41:56Speaker 1: know why she was in the enclosure or what had happened.
- 41:59Speaker 1: They think that she was part of a special program
- 42:01Speaker 1: where visitors can pretend to be zookeepers and feed animals.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I want to know who on the staff there was like,
- 42:06Speaker 1: let's bring the kids in to feed the wolves. And
- 42:09Speaker 1: did they mean like give food to the wolves or
- 42:11Speaker 1: like feed the kids to the wolves? I really want
- 42:14Speaker 1: to know how that happened, because they said that that's
- 42:17Speaker 1: most likely at least that's what's being speculated in the press.
- 42:20Speaker 1: So who had that bright idea? Popular music is losing
- 42:24Speaker 1: both its heartache and its happiness. I completely agree with
- 42:27Speaker 1: this a thousand percent because there's been so much market
- 42:31Speaker 1: study as to what people like that nobody's a tastemaker anymore.
- 42:34Speaker 1: There's no such thing as a tastemaker. Influencers aren't even influencers.
- 42:38Speaker 1: They're not influencing you. They're reading your algorithm and your
- 42:41Speaker 1: behavior online and then they're processing that data and they're
- 42:45Speaker 1: exploiting what you already do. You're influencing them. It's not
- 42:48Speaker 1: the other way around. And so with this, I'm not surprised.
- 42:50Speaker 1: So according to new surveys, they said of over almost 40,000
- 42:54Speaker 1: songs by hundreds of different artists, lyrics have grown less emotional.
- 42:58Speaker 1: They don't mention family or friends, career sadness and all that.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Those types of words fell while words tied to anxiety rose.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Newer artists write with much less sadness and more anger
- 43:12Speaker 1: and genres are irrelevant. That doesn't do anything to impact
- 43:15Speaker 1: the trend. So they don't know why. And they can't
- 43:20Speaker 1: they don't they don't they don't they're trying to figure
- 43:22Speaker 1: out why that is. It's because we're coming into a
- 43:24Speaker 1: soulless robotic society. That's why. We're turning into meat robots already.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Robot dog walkers are wanted for 20. Why do we
- 43:32Speaker 1: have to have, wait, what? New York Times has a
- 43:34Speaker 1: story about a robot dog walker where you can make
- 43:36Speaker 1: $ 20 an hour to walk a robot dog. What the hell?
- 43:39Speaker 1: I might want to do that.
