Davidson Day School Clubs: AFAR Archaeology, Community Engagement & an Award-Winning Yearbook
We dig into the clubs and activities that define Davidson Day School, starting with AFAR — the program that sends students to real archaeological excavations in Belize, Spain, Portugal, and Greece — and its companion Global Studies Diploma. We trace how leadership runs through community-engagement councils instead of a traditional student government, tour the award-winning Revolution yearbook, and cover the Student Diversity Council, National Honor Society, Battle of the Books, and traditions like the house system and Patriot Pals.
