- 1:05Speaker 3: to get to. Mister Matthew, how you doing, sir?
- 1:08Speaker 2: Doing great? Doing great.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Happy to be back here at Ralse's Market right here
- 1:14Speaker 4: off Burbank. I don't know what happened, but seems like
- 1:18Speaker 4: a little different scenery for us today.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Adam set the set up backwards. Yeah,
- 1:22Speaker 2: come on, Adam, let's go out of here. Come on,
- 1:24Speaker 2: it's reversed. But now we're here at Rouses. We're excited.
- 1:26Speaker 4: We're here, excited to be here every single Friday during
- 1:30Speaker 4: the football season, and again, just super impressed.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Every time I walk in here, there's like fifty.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Employees getting set up, getting getting set up and getting
- 1:38Speaker 4: everything ready for you guys to come in.
- 1:40Speaker 2: So come join us this morning, Come say hi to us.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Come get a little breakfast here at the at the
- 1:45Speaker 4: breakfast bar right here at Rals's. And if you're not
- 1:47Speaker 4: near us, just go to your own Rouses and get
- 1:49Speaker 4: a little breakfast bar because there's a lot of them. Yes, sir,
- 1:54Speaker 4: get your groceries. That is well, but no, I'm doing
- 1:56Speaker 4: good man. Everything is a kosher. Watching a good football
- 2:03Speaker 4: last night, How about the Dolphins turned out.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Being a good game. Thought it was going to be
- 2:08Speaker 2: a blowout and it wasn't.
- 2:10Speaker 4: People left them for dead and they said, not too fast.
- 2:12Speaker 4: We're actually professional football players as well.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah, you said that yesterday.
- 2:17Speaker 3: You mentioned that they were professional football players until the
- 2:21Speaker 3: last interception that was kind of a middle school interception,
- 2:24Speaker 3: but before then professional and everything.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I got a little aggressive on a little punt
- 2:29Speaker 4: block attempt at high for play. I mean, those are
- 2:33Speaker 4: the ones you hate to see as a coach, but
- 2:36Speaker 4: you kind of got to live with sometimes because you
- 2:39Speaker 4: want your guys to play with intensity. You want your
- 2:40Speaker 4: guys to play with that for but a guy rushes
- 2:42Speaker 4: up the middle, tries to block the punt, almost has it,
- 2:45Speaker 4: runs into the kicker, runs into the punter. So give
- 2:48Speaker 4: gives the Josh Allen and come. You can't give Josh
- 2:50Speaker 4: Allen too many opportunities. But a team that was left
- 2:55Speaker 4: for dead coming into this game. Everybody was talking about
- 2:58Speaker 4: how many weeks Mike mcganiel still had and you know
- 3:01Speaker 4: the question. The jury will still be out on that.
- 3:03Speaker 4: But I think they bought themselves some time. At least,
- 3:05Speaker 4: they gave themselves a little bit.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Of yeah maybe, yeah, you're right.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I mean, gosh, it's just the first two games they
- 3:11Speaker 3: looked awful, and they looked much much better.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I can say, a really good team on the road.
- 3:15Speaker 4: So I feel like maybe, But I've watched two of
- 3:19Speaker 4: play and he makes some great plays, and I don't
- 3:21Speaker 4: want to sit here and judge. Judge like mechanically what
- 3:24Speaker 4: he does, because he's always been a little bit mechanically different.
- 3:27Speaker 4: He hadn't been like a real like a whippy arm
- 3:30Speaker 4: guy kind of a shoulder though his shoulder looks a
- 3:33Speaker 4: little stiffer than it usually does.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I don't know what.
- 3:35Speaker 4: I don't know if that's age, I don't know if
- 3:37Speaker 4: that's the brain bruises.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I don't know what it is, but I don't know.
- 3:41Speaker 4: His mechanics just look a little bit more phone, a
- 3:44Speaker 4: little bit more shouldery than he usually does.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I don't know, just a uh no, he does Solder
- 3:53Speaker 2: Josh Allen, No, not shouldery at all. No, that's a
- 4:01Speaker 2: I like that. I like it. I do like it. Yeah.
- 4:03Speaker 3: For the punt block situation, that's tough. And I've been
- 4:06Speaker 3: in that situation and your eyes just get huge because
- 4:10Speaker 3: you're like, I've got a free path to the punter,
- 4:12Speaker 3: I'm gonna block this football, and.
- 4:14Speaker 2: You try everything you can.
- 4:16Speaker 3: And I'll be honest, there's probably in my career two
- 4:19Speaker 3: punts that I didn't block because I was so worried
- 4:22Speaker 3: about running into the punter that you you know, you
- 4:26Speaker 3: slow down just a hair and if you slow down
- 4:28Speaker 3: at all like you're not, Like everything has to be
- 4:30Speaker 3: perfect for you to block a punt and if you
- 4:33Speaker 3: slow down at all, it's just not gonna happen. So gosh,
- 4:35Speaker 3: I feel bad because you know, the Special teams coach
- 4:38Speaker 3: is just firing them up, the guys, this is going
- 4:40Speaker 3: to hit, this is going to go when we run
- 4:42Speaker 3: this rush, it is going to block a punt, and
- 4:45Speaker 3: you get so excited and it happens and unfortunately you give,
- 4:48Speaker 3: like you said, an MVP caliber quarterback another possession.
- 4:52Speaker 2: He's gonna make you pay.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Yeah, Actually, that's a that's a great topic to ask
- 4:56Speaker 4: you about because.
- 4:56Speaker 2: You were a war daddy on special teams.
- 4:59Speaker 4: You blocked your fair here three block not a big deal,
- 5:02Speaker 4: but like when you train for punt block, So I
- 5:07Speaker 4: know I've seen the special teams, but like special teams
- 5:09Speaker 4: was always a blind spot for me because we never
- 5:12Speaker 4: quarterbacks never sat in Special teams meetings.
- 5:14Speaker 2: We were always doing our you know, real football stuff, soul.
- 5:20Speaker 4: But I would watch the drills and y'all would practice
- 5:23Speaker 4: punt block with like the pad there and the angle
- 5:25Speaker 4: you don't angle towards like you angle away from the
- 5:28Speaker 4: quarter or the punter right you block it.
- 5:30Speaker 2: But when you're coming head on like that.
- 5:33Speaker 4: And you're engaged with someone blocking you and you're giving,
- 5:36Speaker 4: like Micah Parson's type effort to like get past that blocker,
- 5:40Speaker 4: and you're like, I think I can do it. Like
- 5:42Speaker 4: is the thought process or the coaching points from a
- 5:45Speaker 4: special teams coach, like if you think you if you
- 5:48Speaker 4: if you think you might be.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Able to block it, don't go for it.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Or it's like you got one hundred percent know that
- 5:53Speaker 4: you can do it before you give it everything you got.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Because that guy knew, like he got the one hand
- 5:58Speaker 4: out there. I'm know the punt block technique that people
- 6:01Speaker 4: work on a price is a double hand.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, so like he's like.
- 6:05Speaker 4: If you can only get one hand, don't do it.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Like what's the what's the technique? Like what do you
- 6:09Speaker 4: coach right there in that situation?
- 6:11Speaker 3: Yeah, So in a perfect world, like if you are
- 6:14Speaker 3: free in the A gap, then you're going to the
- 6:16Speaker 3: punt leg side and you're you know, like you said,
- 6:18Speaker 3: your two hands and then you go to the same
- 6:21Speaker 3: side as his leg and that way you don't have
- 6:23Speaker 3: a collision there. But with last night, it's that's not
- 6:26Speaker 3: that situation. That's not a perfect picture. Right, that's you
- 6:29Speaker 3: having maybe a chance. And it's kind of an.
- 6:32Speaker 2: A bit you do.
- 6:33Speaker 3: You have to become an athlete, you have to become
- 6:35Speaker 3: a player, and they typically would tell you, hey, if
- 6:38Speaker 3: you think you have the opportunity, if you have the chance,
- 6:42Speaker 3: do whatever you've got to do, but be right, but
- 6:45Speaker 3: be right. Yeah, one of those situations. If you do it, it's.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Fine, but you better read.
- 6:51Speaker 3: It's like it's like anything in sport, like, hey, I'm
- 6:54Speaker 3: giving you the green life to steal bases.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Right, you can do that, you better be right. Yeah,
- 6:59Speaker 2: you get you can swing on three and n right,
- 7:01Speaker 2: but you better be right. Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 4: You can throw it back across your body if you want,
- 7:06Speaker 4: or running backs you're kind of slow, you can bounce
- 7:08Speaker 4: it outside on this run.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I don't know why'd you look at me when you
- 7:11Speaker 2: said that, I do. I was looking at Adham. I
- 7:13Speaker 2: looked at him. Tight yep, you say tight? Tight? Hell? Yeah?
- 7:17Speaker 2: I was bringing back yes. Yes.
- 7:21Speaker 3: So unfortunately for the Dolphins, yeah, they fall again thirty
- 7:25Speaker 3: one twenty one to the Buffalo Bills. But like Flint said,
- 7:28Speaker 3: at least he gave us some football to watch because
- 7:31Speaker 3: I didn't have any expectation for that game.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Now.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Let me So, I'm watching this game last night and
- 7:40Speaker 4: I'm watching I'm thinking, like, Okay, is this the Bills
- 7:43Speaker 4: just having it off night? Is that the Dolphins playing
- 7:45Speaker 4: really well? It's probably a combination of kind of both. Yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 4: but I'm watching this, I'm like, man, these Bills who
- 7:53Speaker 4: look unflappable.
- 7:55Speaker 2: The first two weeks.
- 7:56Speaker 4: They don't look like Superman right now. Their run defense
- 8:00Speaker 4: is not great. Yeah, they showed that against the Ravens.
- 8:03Speaker 4: They showed that last night. I mean a chain was
- 8:06Speaker 4: going off last night.
- 8:07Speaker 3: They were gashing number one past defense in the NFL. Right,
- 8:12Speaker 3: But yes, if you want to make your hay, it's
- 8:15Speaker 3: on the ground.
- 8:16Speaker 4: And that's if you think about if they continue to
- 8:19Speaker 4: win these games but their running defense is not great,
- 8:23Speaker 4: Guess where they're gonna if they keep winning. Guess where
- 8:25Speaker 4: they get to play in late January? Where is that
- 8:28Speaker 4: they get to play in their home field where it's
- 8:30Speaker 4: really cold and there's gonna be people are gonna be
- 8:32Speaker 4: running the ball at them, and it's not gonna be advantageous.
- 8:34Speaker 4: So after watching last night, I'm sitting there there are
- 8:38Speaker 4: some good, good teams in the AFC do not let
- 8:45Speaker 4: your head get too big. But I think the Chargers
- 8:48Speaker 4: might be number one on my power lift in the AFC.
- 8:54Speaker 4: So right now I got a Chargers Packers super Bowl
- 8:57Speaker 4: at this second.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Don't let that happen. Don't let it happens.
- 9:00Speaker 3: If that happens, we're gonna be. If you already think
- 9:02Speaker 3: we're unbearable, just wait till that happened.
- 9:04Speaker 4: That's this isn't even pandering. This is just like how
- 9:07Speaker 4: I how I'm viewing.
- 9:08Speaker 3: I've never heard you since I got drafted in two
- 9:11Speaker 3: thousand and eight say a nice word about the Chargers
- 9:14Speaker 3: until literally just then.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Sure, so the first time. So if it's not Chargers Saints,
- 9:19Speaker 2: it'll be Shargersbackers. We'll see. We'll see what happens in January.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Do you have to do that? I have to have that?
- 9:27Speaker 2: Cabat is trying to be funny. I guess who knows.
- 9:33Speaker 1: M.
- 9:34Speaker 4: On a more down note, Oh great, I was texting
- 9:39Speaker 4: you last night.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I got a little sad.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you you had a rough one last night.
- 9:43Speaker 4: I took a tough beat on the end the sports
- 9:45Speaker 4: card game you did. I had a really nice card.
- 9:47Speaker 4: It was a Jadon Daniels card. Yeah, I bought it,
- 9:50Speaker 4: purchased it raw.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I degraded it up to a ten, which typically in
- 9:55Speaker 2: the sports card world doubles it. Yeah, I mean if
- 9:59Speaker 2: you to ten, and I didn't buy it, especially on
- 10:02Speaker 2: an expensive car, and.
- 10:03Speaker 4: I didn't buy it wrong either that market value, Yeah,
- 10:06Speaker 4: I graded it up. The value was much higher. And
- 10:12Speaker 4: you know, you lived by the bid, you die by
- 10:14Speaker 4: the bid. And I had it on an auction and
- 10:17Speaker 4: apparently there was only one person that wanted it and
- 10:20Speaker 4: it went for low.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I tried to get it too, so it was I
- 10:23Speaker 2: graded it up to ten.
- 10:24Speaker 3: And I honestly like if I wouldn't have been if
- 10:27Speaker 3: I didn't have a double header flag football, and I
- 10:29Speaker 3: would have known, like I could have bought that card.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I would have definitely bought that card.
- 10:34Speaker 4: If you would have bought it for the price it
- 10:35Speaker 4: went for, you would have gotten it. Sorry, bud, wait,
- 10:39Speaker 4: cancel that order. You wouldn't have given it to Sorry?
- 10:44Speaker 4: Oh wow, sorry, it's just so Yeah. So graded up
- 10:48Speaker 4: to ten, and I ended up losing a couple of
- 10:49Speaker 4: bucks on it, so you know, a little heartbroken right now,
- 10:53Speaker 4: kind of lost a.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Took some wind out of my sales last night.
- 10:56Speaker 4: So I just wanted to air that grievance out there
- 11:00Speaker 4: about it.
- 11:00Speaker 2: He was down bad. I was down bad. I'll do
- 11:03Speaker 2: so bad. So next time, just buy his card please.
- 11:06Speaker 2: It was a nice card. I think you should.
- 11:08Speaker 3: You should, like when you have a big Jaden Daniels, Malik,
- 11:12Speaker 3: BTJ Jamar Joe, you should probably announce it to you know,
- 11:16Speaker 3: the thousands of listeners we have that are also fans
- 11:19Speaker 3: of those same players.
- 11:20Speaker 2: That's true. Yeah, I probably should.
- 11:23Speaker 4: I probably should do a little advertising. Yeah, but I
- 11:25Speaker 4: mean it's on eBay. I mean there's millions of people
- 11:27Speaker 4: on eBay.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but there's thousands listening to this show, hundreds.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Tens, tens and tens people. Uh so, yeah, there we go.
- 11:37Speaker 4: It's not all just sunshine and rainbows in the card game.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Every now and then, you live by the bid, you
- 11:42Speaker 4: die by the bid. So we're trying to figure out
- 11:44Speaker 4: over here, just spitballing. Oh why what happened?
- 11:47Speaker 2: Just Tim? Why? Just Tim? Tim? Why JaMarcus? Come on?
- 11:51Speaker 2: You know Jimbo still says that, by the way, Oh
- 11:54Speaker 2: my god, Yeah, that's that's his thing. Yeah. If he
- 11:57Speaker 2: didn't say it, I'd be really disappointed.
- 11:59Speaker 4: Actually, in the in my travels and selling it my
- 12:04Speaker 4: high I was at a diet like a collegiate dietitians
- 12:08Speaker 4: conference and I was taught speaking with the dietitian for
- 12:12Speaker 4: Texas A and M. And she was there when Jimbo
- 12:15Speaker 4: was there, and sorry, I said, hey, I was talking
- 12:21Speaker 4: to her like, yeah, I played for Jimbo. And then
- 12:23Speaker 4: she looked at me and she said tell me why.
- 12:27Speaker 4: So she did the Jimbo impression as well, and did
- 12:31Speaker 4: it pretty good too. So we shared a couple of
- 12:33Speaker 4: Jimbo quotes Jimbo.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Stories, and I got some giggles out of it. Oh.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Absolutely, And that's pretty much why they're hydrated.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Oh nice, nice because Jimbo story. Yeah, that's right. I
- 12:44Speaker 2: can't tell you this.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Like so Jimbo all jokes aside, Jimbo Fisher coached to US.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Y'all know him National Championship a whole deal.
- 12:51Speaker 2: He when he.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Said that, like he's like, okay, Well, he used to always,
- 12:55Speaker 3: well tell me why why did you?
- 12:57Speaker 2: It could be a good or a bad play, Like
- 13:00Speaker 2: I could remember we were playing Gosh.
- 13:03Speaker 3: I think it was the game that he talked to
- 13:05Speaker 3: you about Kentucky in two thousand and six, and it
- 13:07Speaker 3: was like a third and one and I cut it
- 13:09Speaker 3: backside for the first.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Down, blah blah blah, and I just remember halftime, Hey,
- 13:13Speaker 2: whytch you cut that backside? Like, well, I'll He's like,
- 13:17Speaker 2: I'll just trying to make a plage of yeah. He's like, well,
- 13:19Speaker 2: well then told you to cut it back, said, I
- 13:20Speaker 2: watch cut a backside. Tell me why, But like I
- 13:23Speaker 2: appreciate it because I'm like, okay, well, you got to
- 13:25Speaker 2: have a rhyme and a reason why you're doing things.
- 13:27Speaker 2: And honestly, like in this profession, I try to take
- 13:31Speaker 2: that with me too. Well, they can't run the ball,
- 13:33Speaker 2: can't do it, I can't pass protect, I can't run
- 13:36Speaker 2: good routes. Okay, why we'll tell me why they can't ye,
- 13:39Speaker 2: If they can't run, why are they not being able
- 13:41Speaker 2: to run? If they can't pass protect, why can't they
- 13:43Speaker 2: pass protect? Because if you're going.
- 13:45Speaker 3: To say it and you're gonna believe it, we got
- 13:47Speaker 3: to know the reason why they can't do it. And
- 13:50Speaker 3: it's one of the things like when we're watching tape
- 13:53Speaker 3: and when we're back in the studio, it's like, okay, well,
- 13:55Speaker 3: if you say they can't do something, or you say
- 13:57Speaker 3: they're doing something really well, Well, tell me why?
- 13:59Speaker 2: Why? Why is it working for him? Why is it?
- 14:01Speaker 2: Why is it not working for them?
- 14:03Speaker 3: And so like, even in this profession I get, I
- 14:06Speaker 3: still like challenge myself. Okay, man, they can't run the
- 14:08Speaker 3: ball gimbos in the background ball.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Tell me why? Tell me why?
- 14:15Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a hey like him saying that also kind
- 14:21Speaker 4: of has been in the back of my brain always, right,
- 14:23Speaker 4: tell me why, you know, why is this play good
- 14:25Speaker 4: against this coverage? That's what makes That's kind of like
- 14:30Speaker 4: why I get I'm so high on Aaron Anderson because
- 14:33Speaker 4: he understands the why of past concepts. Right, That's what
- 14:36Speaker 4: makes like when when I talk about football IQ, it's
- 14:40Speaker 4: it's speaking.
- 14:41Speaker 2: To that exact question.
- 14:43Speaker 4: It is people that play the game and can look
- 14:47Speaker 4: at a playbook and understand why they're doing something. Okay,
- 14:51Speaker 4: I have a backside end route or a dig rout.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Why do I have this backside dig route? What's what's
- 14:56Speaker 4: the quarterbacks progression? What window do I need to get
- 15:01Speaker 4: in versus cover three? Versus a cover two?
- 15:03Speaker 2: Look? Why do I need to warn this route a
- 15:05Speaker 2: little bit different versus man to man.
- 15:07Speaker 4: It's it's understanding the why of a concept like why
- 15:10Speaker 4: did this offensive coordinator create this play? And then why
- 15:16Speaker 4: is he telling me to do this? And so that's
- 15:18Speaker 4: what makes somebody a really good and a valuable asset
- 15:22Speaker 4: for an NFL franchise when they're looking at college players.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Is does that guy get it? Or is he just
- 15:28Speaker 2: a really good athlete?
- 15:30Speaker 4: Does he run the same route the same way versus
- 15:32Speaker 4: every coverage? Is he running so he runs a four
- 15:34Speaker 4: three five? Does he run every route at a four
- 15:37Speaker 4: three five? Because that's not what we need? Run past
- 15:40Speaker 4: the whole You have to understand what your what your
- 15:43Speaker 4: role is in this eleven man play that.
- 15:46Speaker 2: We're trying to do to beat this defense.
- 15:48Speaker 3: And it's a My nine year old flag football team
- 15:51Speaker 3: doesn't understand that.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Yours doesn't? Does yours? Oh yeah, for sure, we'll call
- 15:59Speaker 2: this rock concept. Do you do? You know? Why is
- 16:01Speaker 2: this coverage?
- 16:02Speaker 4: I know currently we're we're working for coaching. I told
- 16:05Speaker 4: you coaches on the hot seat on the flag football team.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Yeah, me, you, me and the coach.
- 16:09Speaker 4: We're I'm kind of like Mike McDaniels. I'm drawing to
- 16:12Speaker 4: you know, these maybe two intricate of plays. I went
- 16:16Speaker 4: three and I looked at my coaches the other day.
- 16:19Speaker 4: I said, maybe I'm really good at drawing football plays.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Maybe I'm not so good at drawing flag football players.
- 16:24Speaker 4: So we might be diving hot seat.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Watch hot seat watcha it's flaming all right? Oh sorry
- 16:31Speaker 2: about that. I don't know where to go from here.
- 16:34Speaker 3: But to your point though about like Aaron Anderson, he
- 16:38Speaker 3: is a receiver. Like when you, okay, you you have
- 16:40Speaker 3: a route concept and it's not good against the coverage
- 16:43Speaker 3: they're playing, and you know it, there's still things that
- 16:45Speaker 3: you can do within your route to try to get
- 16:48Speaker 3: the defender to not be disciplined and still find a
- 16:52Speaker 3: way to catch a football too.
- 16:53Speaker 2: And I think he does that really well.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Absolutely, He's just where he needs to be at the
- 16:57Speaker 4: right time, within the footwork of Garrett and then within
- 17:00Speaker 4: the progression.
- 17:01Speaker 2: There is a Green Bay Packers number ten, Jersey. There
- 17:05Speaker 2: is behind.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Us at this breakfast bar, and the breakfast bar looks incredible.
- 17:09Speaker 2: I think it. I think you stole my joke. I
- 17:12Speaker 2: think it's as Flynn.
- 17:13Speaker 3: I think it it does, say Flynn, sir, sir in
- 17:17Speaker 3: the Green Bay Packers Jersey.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Green Bay Packers man locked in him.
- 17:21Speaker 3: He's locked into the breakfast bart tray to turn around.
- 17:24Speaker 2: If that says Flynn, you want me one hundred dollars?
- 17:28Speaker 2: Why dollars? Because it says Flyinn. All right, that's gonna
- 17:32Speaker 2: uh be the first segment, so don't you worry.
- 17:36Speaker 3: When we come back in the second segment, we'll start
- 17:38Speaker 3: to break down some of the games. The Saints traveling
- 17:41Speaker 3: out to Seattle. Obviously LSU with a home game against Southeastern.
- 17:45Speaker 3: You've got some good games in the Southeastern conferences that
- 17:48Speaker 3: are going to be potentially college football playoff conversation games
- 17:54Speaker 3: down the road. If it keeps trending the way it is,
- 17:56Speaker 3: we've got a lot to get to stay locked in here.
- 17:59Speaker 2: It is TV Live from Rolse's Olmberbank off the Bench.

- 19:43Speaker 2: It is Football Friday.
- 19:45Speaker 3: We'll be here every single Friday during the football season.
- 19:50Speaker 3: And that includes LSU Southeastern over across kind of the street.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Basically, yeah, basically Tiger Stadium.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Almost the shadows been on where.
- 20:02Speaker 2: The sun's at. Well, it's gotta be a long, long
- 20:04Speaker 2: shadow Purple Jersey game. Although I don't know if we're
- 20:06Speaker 2: wearing purple. That's purple jersey game. Super excited about it.
- 20:14Speaker 2: You going? Did you get your parking pass?
- 20:18Speaker 1: No?
- 20:18Speaker 4: I didn't get a parking pass. So you're going, Huck
- 20:22Speaker 4: is Huck's asking about it though, Uh so we might
- 20:26Speaker 4: be there, we'll see. It's gonna be a photo finished.
- 20:29Speaker 3: What are you bribing Huck with to make sure you?
- 20:34Speaker 2: Oh? Good question? Yep.
- 20:36Speaker 4: I'm a probably owner a new Derek Stingley card, so
- 20:39Speaker 4: my bridhem with that.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's from that's from me to him. That's
- 20:45Speaker 2: not from you. That's true. He didn't know that. That's true.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Oh man, No, I we will probably be going, But
- 20:53Speaker 4: we were for sure going this past week and we
- 20:55Speaker 4: didn't didn't go, so.
- 20:56Speaker 2: It's kind of a wild card, you ever know.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Yeah, we were excited about going this past weekend, and
- 21:01Speaker 4: I'm so kind of I'm a little bit upset we
- 21:03Speaker 4: missed the opportunity, We missed the vibes because I know
- 21:07Speaker 4: Death Valley was a rocking and it'll be a little
- 21:09Speaker 4: bit different tomorrow. We get it, I get it. But
- 21:11Speaker 4: we hadn't been to a game yet. So Huck's done
- 21:15Speaker 4: to get there. Get some dippin' dots some popcorn.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Well, we'll see as far as the injury report for
- 21:22Speaker 3: the game. And this is by our guy Hunt Palmer
- 21:26Speaker 3: over on louisianasports dot Net. You can check that output
- 21:30Speaker 3: it out there yesterday afternoon. So trede As Green is
- 21:34Speaker 3: somebody that is progressing towards playing.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Now. When he went down, it looked bad.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Ye man, just I've seen that injury a thousand times, unfortunately,
- 21:46Speaker 3: but it was, you know, a good report that it
- 21:49Speaker 3: was just the spring. I missed the Florida game, but
- 21:52Speaker 3: chances are he could come back for this Southeastern game.
- 21:56Speaker 3: But I'll kind of keep throwing it back out there now.
- 21:58Speaker 3: This is a quote from Brian Kelly. Trade As was
- 22:00Speaker 3: out at practice moving around on Thursday.
- 22:03Speaker 2: We threw the ball to him a little bit.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I would say that he is for Saturday. We're going
- 22:07Speaker 3: to put him as questionable. I'm all about respecting your opponent.
- 22:12Speaker 3: I'm also a meathead. I hated missing any game. I
- 22:16Speaker 3: didn't miss one until the NFL. I'm pretty sure, like
- 22:19Speaker 3: truly miss a game because of injury. And it was
- 22:22Speaker 3: a week seventeen game We're playing against Denver. Both of
- 22:25Speaker 3: us were already eliminated from the playoffs, I think, and
- 22:27Speaker 3: I hated it, like.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I hated it. It was awful.
- 22:33Speaker 3: But there's no Southeast in louisianas in the NFL, so
- 22:36Speaker 3: like it's a it's a different situation. I think, Yep,
- 22:40Speaker 3: this is a game that they don't need trade as Green.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Now again, if you want to get him, you know,
- 22:47Speaker 3: a handful of plays, maybe it's five for whatever that
- 22:49Speaker 3: number is, okay, but like, how careful, Matt do you
- 22:53Speaker 3: have to be with a trade as Green? We've talked
- 22:55Speaker 3: about Garrett Nssmeyer playing in this game, like, look, you're
- 22:58Speaker 3: here to play. I get that, and I'll I love
- 23:00Speaker 3: the fact that everybody wants to play. I do, but
- 23:03Speaker 3: there's gonna be a lot of questions about why.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we've brought up that question. You gotta tell me why.
- 23:11Speaker 4: Yeah, you can rush him back and maybe the respect
- 23:14Speaker 4: in your opponent. Part is the process of listing him
- 23:18Speaker 4: as questionable without the intent of playing, because there is
- 23:22Speaker 4: no reason to play him.
- 23:23Speaker 2: There is no for what reason would you put him
- 23:26Speaker 2: out there?
- 23:27Speaker 4: Whether you're trying, are you trying to give him some stats,
- 23:30Speaker 4: you're trying to get him back into shape, you're trying
- 23:32Speaker 4: to get his confidence up play. What possible reason could
- 23:37Speaker 4: you have or make to put him out there besides
- 23:43Speaker 4: just having the ultimate like coaches outlook of players play games.
- 23:50Speaker 4: We have a game. If you're able to play a game,
- 23:52Speaker 4: you play a game. Yeah, and that is kind of
- 23:54Speaker 4: the reason we're talking about Nussmeyer playing this week if
- 23:57Speaker 4: he's If the Torso injury truly has it has been
- 24:00Speaker 4: affecting game planning and play calling and how we're operating
- 24:04Speaker 4: as an offense, what is the reason for not resting
- 24:09Speaker 4: him and not getting him back to as close to
- 24:13Speaker 4: one hundred percent healthy as he can, if it's even
- 24:15Speaker 4: possible within the season. Besides just saying players are here
- 24:19Speaker 4: to play football. We are playing football this weekend, So
- 24:21Speaker 4: if they can go play football.
- 24:23Speaker 2: They're going to play football. Yeah.
- 24:25Speaker 4: That's the only kind of attitude. And I'm not saying
- 24:28Speaker 4: that's the wrong attitude to have. But hopefully we're a
- 24:32Speaker 4: little bit more got a wider vision of what this
- 24:36Speaker 4: team's goals are, what the season holds. It's a long season,
- 24:40Speaker 4: so you want to have a pass catcher that is dynamic,
- 24:47Speaker 4: that is big, that creates unfair advantages to even the
- 24:50Speaker 4: best athletes in the SEC. Yeah, you want to have
- 24:53Speaker 4: him pretty healthy when SEC played with a road.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Game against Soule Miss. Yeah, next week, so he's.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Listened his question when you're right, like, it might be
- 25:03Speaker 3: respecting your opponent and just putting that and you're practicing
- 25:07Speaker 3: him because he is good enough to go, but obviously
- 25:10Speaker 3: you still want to be cautious with him there. So
- 25:13Speaker 3: I honestly, I would not expect to see him like
- 25:16Speaker 3: he might even go through pregame warm ups. He might
- 25:18Speaker 3: be dressed, but I don't know that you'll see him
- 25:20Speaker 3: in the game. That's just my guess on this situation.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Now, I wouldn't think you would, I mean honestly. Yeah,
- 25:28Speaker 4: And actually I don't know the rules. Is there a
- 25:30Speaker 4: rule like if you are listed as out, can you practice?
- 25:34Speaker 2: Are you something? Because now you have to have it? Yeah,
- 25:36Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure you can't.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Now you have to have official, you know, injury report
- 25:39Speaker 3: now in the SEC.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, I don't know if I know this.
- 25:47Speaker 3: If you have an injury but you're full participant in practice,
- 25:50Speaker 3: you don't have to list that on the injury report.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we learned that with so Angry. Okay, right,
- 25:55Speaker 2: all right.
- 25:56Speaker 3: So if you're practicing your a full go. You don't
- 25:58Speaker 3: have to list it, but I don't know the flip.
- 26:00Speaker 4: For sure, the reverse of that, like if you were
- 26:02Speaker 4: listed as out in the game, can you suit up
- 26:05Speaker 4: and good practice?
- 26:06Speaker 3: So all right, trede as Green gonna be questionable for
- 26:08Speaker 3: this game. Wes Weeks is doubtful for this game with
- 26:11Speaker 3: the cash strain that he had. Again, another player you're
- 26:14Speaker 3: absolutely going to need against Ole Miss Todd McShay had
- 26:18Speaker 3: a great clip about talking about Harold Perkins and the
- 26:21Speaker 3: star position and him creating nightmares and he's.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Like in the Weeks brothers like Mike, you.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Know, just kind of goes like in the physicality and
- 26:28Speaker 3: now the defense is playing. So I'm glad Wes Weeks
- 26:30Speaker 3: is getting the love that he deserves because last week
- 26:33Speaker 3: before he got hurt man he stepped up when his
- 26:36Speaker 3: brother went out of the game because he hit somebody
- 26:38Speaker 3: too hard in tackle football, he played incredibly well. And
- 26:43Speaker 3: that is a player that has continued to develop in
- 26:45Speaker 3: that linebacker room. And Devine Key stepped up and he
- 26:47Speaker 3: was a good player last year. I remember having so
- 26:50Speaker 3: many conversations with Blake about him in the offseason.
- 26:53Speaker 2: They love him as well.
- 26:54Speaker 3: That is such a deep room like that one makes like, yeah,
- 26:57Speaker 3: you're doubt for you.
- 26:59Speaker 2: You're not going out there.
- 27:00Speaker 3: We got plenty of it and we're gonna need you against
- 27:02Speaker 3: Ole miss there. So that one makes all the sense
- 27:04Speaker 3: in the world not to try to rush back. And like,
- 27:06Speaker 3: I've never had a cash strain. I don't know how,
- 27:09Speaker 3: you know, annoying that one can be. Like I've had
- 27:11Speaker 3: plenty of knee in different springs and stuff, So I'm
- 27:15Speaker 3: gonna be doubtful for this one.
- 27:16Speaker 2: But again, another player that when he went down.
- 27:19Speaker 3: And you're sitting there and you're looking through your binoculars
- 27:22Speaker 3: on the broadcast and you see him holding they're like,
- 27:24Speaker 3: oh boy, the parents came down on the field. Oh gosh,
- 27:27Speaker 3: So good news for that one too.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Look takes only to be a couple of weeks. Yeah,
- 27:31Speaker 2: great news.
- 27:33Speaker 4: But I mean, going thinking back of the game, it
- 27:37Speaker 4: just last week the amount of people that had to
- 27:40Speaker 4: step up and play over their skis, had to play
- 27:43Speaker 4: in a position they didn't expect when they put their
- 27:45Speaker 4: head on the pillow Friday night, did not expect to
- 27:48Speaker 4: have to contribute against the Florida Gators in that type
- 27:51Speaker 4: of atmosphere To the extent that they did. Guys that
- 27:54Speaker 4: just stepped up, and like Brian Kelly said after the game,
- 27:57Speaker 4: I don't know if.
- 27:57Speaker 2: They really knew what they were doing, but they did it.
- 28:00Speaker 4: They did it, they did it fast, and they did
- 28:02Speaker 4: it with bad intentions. So that's why we love this defense.
- 28:05Speaker 4: And I actually randomly I just watched the first half
- 28:09Speaker 4: of our defense play on I watched the All twenty
- 28:11Speaker 4: two yesterday, just our defense yes day against Florida.
- 28:14Speaker 2: And man they are.
- 28:17Speaker 4: I came away very impressed with the IQ of our
- 28:20Speaker 4: linebackers when they're pressuring. I came away very impressed with
- 28:26Speaker 4: the aggressiveness even more so of the Blake Baker mindset
- 28:30Speaker 4: and philosophy and the teachings that they have. And they
- 28:34Speaker 4: it seems like every time they are at least bringing
- 28:36Speaker 4: five guys which turned into six, usually because it was
- 28:39Speaker 4: some sort of green dog. I did come away a
- 28:42Speaker 4: little bit wary of if I was game planning against this.
- 28:49Speaker 4: There are there are holes and exploitations to take advantage
- 28:52Speaker 4: of if you can catch them in the right defense.
- 28:54Speaker 3: That's yeah, I mean, it's any that's the aggressive absolutely
- 28:58Speaker 3: defense for Shure. I mean, I remember playing you know
- 29:01Speaker 3: you play against the Ravens and the Steelers around the
- 29:04Speaker 3: time that we were in the NFL, and I remember
- 29:07Speaker 3: being in those meetings and being like.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Hey, guys, there's place to be made. It's like, yeah,
- 29:10Speaker 2: there's place to be made.
- 29:11Speaker 3: But also Hellodianada and Terrell Suggs or hitting Philip in
- 29:15Speaker 3: the face before he can you know, Ed Reid's coming
- 29:17Speaker 3: off the edge, or Ray Lewis is coming through the
- 29:19Speaker 3: a gap.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Same thing.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Like, it's like, yeah, there's place to be made. But
- 29:22Speaker 3: see Troy Paulamalos jumping over the center. And so for sure,
- 29:26Speaker 3: like that's when you're aggressive. Obviously there's got to be
- 29:30Speaker 3: like and so like that's the thing for them is
- 29:33Speaker 3: can they continue to be as aggressive and play to
- 29:37Speaker 3: that level and have as much success because eventually there's
- 29:41Speaker 3: gonna be like at least one play in the year
- 29:44Speaker 3: where there aggressive nature a team takes advantage of it
- 29:47Speaker 3: because you know, for whatever reason, maybe the blitzer slips
- 29:50Speaker 3: down or maybe the running back has a really good pass.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Protection on him, it's gonna be a big play. But
- 29:55Speaker 2: that's that's what you know when you play that style,
- 29:58Speaker 2: and Blake knows that su some of those things are
- 30:00Speaker 2: going to happen, and you live with that risk, and
- 30:03Speaker 2: you live.
- 30:04Speaker 3: My God, please keep living with it. Don't play quarters coverage. No,
- 30:07Speaker 3: you sit back there and be passing it is.
- 30:09Speaker 2: You would much rather be the hammer and not the nail.
- 30:11Speaker 4: And they did it, and I'm watching this and I'm like,
- 30:14Speaker 4: you are allowed to do this because of people like
- 30:16Speaker 4: Manslor Delane.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Yeah, early in the game, maybe he might be the
- 30:21Speaker 2: team MVP. So he is a.
- 30:22Speaker 4: Guy that can understand route concepts and diagnose what they're
- 30:29Speaker 4: trying to do very quickly, like where is it. There
- 30:32Speaker 4: was a play early on in the game and they
- 30:35Speaker 4: run a little wheel route, little little pick play wheel
- 30:38Speaker 4: route with the inside receiver and they were man coverage. Yeah,
- 30:41Speaker 4: we were in man coverage. And his guy goes down
- 30:44Speaker 4: to pick the wheel route. Comes the linebacker covering the
- 30:48Speaker 4: wheel route goes underneath the pick.
- 30:50Speaker 2: And once you go underneath the pick, you're dead. You're dead, yeah, right,
- 30:53Speaker 2: because the guy hits it over.
- 30:55Speaker 4: He realizes that bails on the guy that he was
- 30:58Speaker 4: covering to cover the wheel route. And I can't remember
- 31:01Speaker 4: if he knocked it down, hear, except I can't, honestly,
- 31:03Speaker 4: I can't remember. But he makes the play on it
- 31:06Speaker 4: dead play L s U ball right and left his
- 31:09Speaker 4: guy wide open because he diagnosed it and read the
- 31:12Speaker 4: eyes of the DJ Lagway. Who DJ Lagway. It's got
- 31:17Speaker 4: to get back that diagnosing things. He just does not
- 31:21Speaker 4: diagnose the defense very well, very quickly.
- 31:24Speaker 3: And again I'll be like, right, and but that's like,
- 31:26Speaker 3: that's part of it. These are college quarterbacks and you're
- 31:29Speaker 3: you're kind of playing an NFL style of defense right now.
- 31:32Speaker 3: As far as as multiple as you are, you don't
- 31:35Speaker 3: see that in college football.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Like I watch a lot of tape and you don't
- 31:39Speaker 2: see the.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Multiple defenses, the multiple things that they're doing on tape
- 31:43Speaker 3: that I'm watching.
- 31:44Speaker 4: Yeah, you have to get really creative when you're if
- 31:48Speaker 4: you're trying to take a look and break down this
- 31:51Speaker 4: film without being in it within the walls of the
- 31:54Speaker 4: L s U football facility, without understanding their actual calls
- 31:57Speaker 4: and what I'm sitting there. If I'm trying to like
- 31:59Speaker 4: chart over one, two, three, four or four dog zone
- 32:02Speaker 4: or you know, three strong dog or whatever it is, right,
- 32:06Speaker 4: I have to write a long ways like okay, this
- 32:08Speaker 4: is cover four, but you know they're they're man on
- 32:11Speaker 4: one their trail on three, Like there's they're very complicated
- 32:14Speaker 4: defense that are hard just for the standard person just
- 32:18Speaker 4: go said, oh, yeah, they're playing the quarters coverage. Well
- 32:20Speaker 4: they are, but there's got a lot of other principals.
- 32:23Speaker 2: To it too, soylaws, and.
- 32:25Speaker 4: There's a lot of communication with that defense, which speaks
- 32:28Speaker 4: to that leadership in the the guys, the veteran presence
- 32:32Speaker 4: out there in the in the secondary and on that
- 32:34Speaker 4: defense because they're communicating and changing coverages throughout the play,
- 32:39Speaker 4: like midway through the cadence. They're doing it and they're
- 32:41Speaker 4: catching it and everybody's on the same page. There was
- 32:43Speaker 4: one time where one safety didn't get a call and.
- 32:46Speaker 2: This was after what weeks was out. Yeah, so they're.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Communicating, so the linebacker is telling everybody what to do.
- 32:52Speaker 4: One safety didn't get it. Logway SCRAMs out to the left.
- 32:55Speaker 4: There's a touchdown down the sideline. Yeah, wide open.
- 32:57Speaker 2: That was the only time I saw somebody miss an assignment.
- 33:00Speaker 2: And they say he got a holding call.
- 33:01Speaker 4: It was a cloud coverage. It was cover too, and
- 33:03Speaker 4: the safety didn't give to the top of things. Man, yep, And.
- 33:06Speaker 2: That's the one they got the holden call and got
- 33:08Speaker 2: called back there. But yeah, you're right about that.
- 33:10Speaker 3: As far as Gary Nelsmyer, before we take this break,
- 33:13Speaker 3: Brian Kelly said, he's feeling good. We had to limit
- 33:17Speaker 3: a lot of things we did over the first three
- 33:19Speaker 3: or four weeks. He's finally coming to practice feeling good
- 33:22Speaker 3: and getting into a good rhythm. He's had his best
- 33:25Speaker 3: week of practice. So we want him to play and
- 33:28Speaker 3: go through the game at the level where he's comfortable.
- 33:31Speaker 3: To hold him back really at this point would not
- 33:33Speaker 3: be the right thing for him. He's excited to play
- 33:36Speaker 3: because he feels so much better.
- 33:39Speaker 2: All right.
- 33:41Speaker 4: I know he had his best week in practice. This
- 33:43Speaker 4: week felt the best. But guess what, he didn't play
- 33:46Speaker 4: this week, he would feel even better. Maybe next week,
- 33:49Speaker 4: maybe he'd be a little mad.
- 33:50Speaker 2: I'd be mad. Maybe the Torso injuries one of the ones.
- 33:54Speaker 2: You know, you don't want it to get too stiff.
- 33:55Speaker 2: You don't want to sit there and have to stretch
- 33:57Speaker 2: you back out. I don't know.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Look, I don't know Torso injuries and DOT came in
- 34:00Speaker 3: the other days like, yeah, it could be anywhere from
- 34:03Speaker 3: basically your neck to your pelvis.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, that's a small area. So I don't know.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Like we don't know exactly.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Like what it is, but all right, if the head
- 34:12Speaker 3: coach feels good, if the player feels good, if he
- 34:15Speaker 3: feels like he needs to get him in a rhythm
- 34:18Speaker 3: before you travel, old miss, all right, who am I
- 34:20Speaker 3: to say that?
- 34:21Speaker 2: That's not factual, that's not what needs to be done.
- 34:25Speaker 2: But tell me why I think he told you? Why?
- 34:31Speaker 2: So he's gonna play in this game.
- 34:32Speaker 3: West Week's gonna be out for this game and trade
- 34:35Speaker 3: as Green's questionable, but I would be I'd be surprised
- 34:37Speaker 3: if you.
- 34:38Speaker 2: See him out there. So that is the injury report again.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Louisiansports dot Net hump Palmer did a great write up.

- 38:59Speaker 3: All right, Hey, the New Orleans Saints injury report and
- 39:03Speaker 3: the one injury that I've been watching, You've been watching.
- 39:06Speaker 3: We've all been wondering when Trevor Pinning was going to
- 39:09Speaker 3: get back onto the field. Well again another report by
- 39:13Speaker 3: Ross Jackson and louisianasports dot Net. He is trending in
- 39:16Speaker 3: the right direction and potentially could play this week.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Well, why is that important?
- 39:21Speaker 3: You know, Trevor Pinning certainly had some ups and downs,
- 39:24Speaker 3: but you need somebody at guard. Somebody knew somebody what
- 39:29Speaker 3: do you mean, somebody that plays better.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Than We don't say his name loud anymore.
- 39:33Speaker 3: No, no, no, we just whisper it because it's bad juju.
- 39:36Speaker 2: All right.
- 39:37Speaker 3: By the way, Caesar Ruiz is eighty six out of
- 39:40Speaker 3: eighty eight graded guards in the NFL.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Who are the other two fouls?
- 39:44Speaker 3: Who are those? I want to know who those guys are.
- 39:47Speaker 3: So you need help at guard. You need Trevor Pinning back.
- 39:51Speaker 3: So if he's trending in the right direction, maybe, just
- 39:57Speaker 3: maybe you can get him back at left guard. You're
- 40:00Speaker 3: already you know, you're down multiple players at that position already.
- 40:05Speaker 2: The player you have right now again.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Is eighty six out of eighty eight graded guards in
- 40:09Speaker 3: the NFL this year. You need so much help at
- 40:12Speaker 3: the position. So even if Trevor Pinning it is not
- 40:15Speaker 3: the best guard in the world, you need somebody that is.
- 40:18Speaker 3: He's a former first round pick, he's making the move
- 40:20Speaker 3: from tackle guard feels like it is a better situation
- 40:23Speaker 3: for him.
- 40:25Speaker 2: You need him to play, You need him to play.
- 40:26Speaker 3: He's had the turf toe situation for multiple weeks.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Now.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Your interior of your offensive line is horrendous. It's horrendous
- 40:34Speaker 3: right now, and you're trying to help out a young
- 40:36Speaker 3: quarterback who's out there kind of balling a little bit.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Just imagine if you gave him the peace of mind
- 40:41Speaker 3: of having, you know, the interior of the offense solidified.
- 40:46Speaker 4: Yeah, it's uh, Caesar, Yeah, it's one of the things
- 40:52Speaker 4: if if you're practicing, so see it looks like he
- 40:56Speaker 4: was out there in a limited role on Wednesday, practicing
- 41:00Speaker 4: starting starting out on Wednesday this week, so you start to.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Practice to playing the game. So at least get him.
- 41:06Speaker 4: Out there, start getting his legs back under him, getting
- 41:08Speaker 4: this condition in into him.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Maybe maybe you see him a little bit in the game.
- 41:13Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 41:14Speaker 4: It's you know, to the extent of which he did practice,
- 41:17Speaker 4: I'd like to kind of figure that out. But yeah,
- 41:19Speaker 4: you got to get him back in there. You have
- 41:21Speaker 4: to help that help that offensive line. You got to
- 41:24Speaker 4: help Spencer Rattler, even though he has proven to be
- 41:27Speaker 4: able to work in chaos pretty well, to create and
- 41:31Speaker 4: move his feed and be twitchy back there in the pocket.
- 41:35Speaker 2: We need a lot of help. We need a lot
- 41:37Speaker 2: of help.
- 41:37Speaker 4: So we all the help you can get, Saints, I'm
- 41:39Speaker 4: all here for it.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it is. It's troublesome whenever you have.
- 41:47Speaker 3: That many deficiencies in the middle of your offensive line.
- 41:50Speaker 2: And look in Aaron McCoy, who's a really.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Damn good football player, didn't have his best week, like
- 41:57Speaker 3: when he's not perfect, which is completely unfair to him,
- 42:01Speaker 3: but when he's not perfect, I mean, it is a
- 42:03Speaker 3: complete you know what show. So they just they have
- 42:06Speaker 3: to have help up there. We'll see if Trevor Pinning
- 42:09Speaker 3: can give them that help, because they're certainly not going
- 42:11Speaker 3: to get it from the right side. All right, We'll
- 42:14Speaker 3: take a break also continue talking about the matchup Seattle
- 42:20Speaker 3: Seahawks right now seven and a half point favorite against
- 42:23Speaker 3: the Saints.
- 42:23Speaker 2: It opened up at eight and a half, So you're
- 42:25Speaker 2: telling me there's a chance, a chance, there's a.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Chance continue breaking down some of the other big matchups
- 42:29Speaker 3: across the college football landscape.
- 42:31Speaker 2: Will do it all when we come back here on
- 42:32Speaker 2: o TV. Off the bench bench, all right.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Go to Russell Pools dot com. That is the website

- 42:53Speaker 3: That's somebody else's dream, But you know what, it's my
- 42:55Speaker 3: dream now because I like it that much.
- 42:57Speaker 2: They can do it. They can do that for you.
- 42:59Speaker 3: But if if you've always had a desire to have
- 43:02Speaker 3: this dream pool in your backyard and you're like, man,
- 43:04Speaker 3: can can somebody get this done? Can somebody take my
- 43:07Speaker 3: ideas that I've put on paper and have them become
- 43:09Speaker 3: a reality? They can do that over at Russell pool Company.
