- 2:44Speaker 2: don't want a single one of them not getting a scholarship.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Every one of these kids have had a parent who's
- 2:50Speaker 2: completed the program in prison, the Bible Study program. They've
- 2:53Speaker 2: nominated their child to go to camp where they're going
- 2:55Speaker 2: to be put through a Bible study program and they're

- 3:20Speaker 2: to take We're gonna take extra good care of you
- 3:26Speaker 2: because that would get a number of kids to camp.
- 3:31Speaker 2: So please please please help us out there now.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I need to I.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Need to get to the news stories today because there's
- 3:37Speaker 2: been some developments over the weekend in Iran. You saw
- 3:42Speaker 2: that the president it was reported that the President had
- 3:46Speaker 2: gone into the situation room on Friday and briefed everybody
- 3:51Speaker 2: and been briefed by everybody on the circumstances in Iran,
- 3:54Speaker 2: the latest, what was going on, who was where, where
- 3:57Speaker 2: they were at with the proposals, et cetera. At some
- 4:00Speaker 2: point in time, the President received a return proposal from
- 4:06Speaker 2: Iran in terms of some of the things that they
- 4:08Speaker 2: would like to see sketched out in the final agreement,
- 4:11Speaker 2: And most of Sunday the news was that the President
- 4:15Speaker 2: was personally going through it with a fine toothcomb, highlighting
- 4:19Speaker 2: some things he wanted to tweak, changing some things where
- 4:22Speaker 2: he felt like it needed to be changed. And that
- 4:24Speaker 2: was the latest going into Monday. Well, today there is
- 4:28Speaker 2: a story by Anders Hagstrom over at Fox News Channel
- 4:32Speaker 2: Foxnews dot Com that is touting that Iran is now
- 4:38Speaker 2: making a stink over Israel's advancement into the Hesbela regions
- 4:43Speaker 2: of Lebanon. That also happened this weekend. Israel made a
- 4:46Speaker 2: lot of headway in getting into some in fact, they
- 4:50Speaker 2: captured an ancient castle that Hesbelah had just overtaken and
- 4:56Speaker 2: was using as kind of a headquarters of sorts in Lebanon.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Israel took that and they have they have pushed further
- 5:03Speaker 2: and further into the into the region. They're getting into
- 5:07Speaker 2: the Hesbulah strongholds Iran today halting all message exchanges with
- 5:13Speaker 2: the US over Israel strikes on Lebanon. This is what
- 5:17Speaker 2: Iranian media is saying.
- 5:19Speaker 7: Now.
- 5:19Speaker 2: We don't have this confirmed through official channels. We don't
- 5:22Speaker 2: have someone from Marco Rubio's counterpart in Iran that are
- 5:25Speaker 2: saying that they're stopping the discussions, But the Iranian media
- 5:31Speaker 2: on their channels, they are telling at least the Iranian
- 5:34Speaker 2: people that what they're going to do is stop all
- 5:37Speaker 2: communication with the US over this. They they don't understand
- 5:42Speaker 2: that even if they do that, And I believe there's
- 5:46Speaker 2: a high degree of rationale as to why you should
- 5:49Speaker 2: not think that they are. I think many times what
- 5:52Speaker 2: they tell the Iranian people and what they're actually doing
- 5:54Speaker 2: are two different things. So what I would what I
- 5:58Speaker 2: would kind of believe to be the case in this
- 6:00Speaker 2: scenario is perhaps they put that out there as a
- 6:03Speaker 2: kind of trial balloon to see how the world responds
- 6:05Speaker 2: to it and the uranium people. But at the end
- 6:11Speaker 2: of the day, the bottom line is this, they're going
- 6:14Speaker 2: to have to make a decision because the President has
- 6:16Speaker 2: said he is not going to rest on his laurels.
- 6:20Speaker 2: He's not going to sit back and let them drag
- 6:22Speaker 2: him into you know, oblivion when it comes to coming
- 6:26Speaker 2: up with a deal, making the deal, what the deal
- 6:29Speaker 2: should in fact be's And that's what the challenge has
- 6:33Speaker 2: been from the beginning, because what they've wanted to do is,
- 6:36Speaker 2: you know, redirect and distract. So if I can get
- 6:39Speaker 2: you to think about the straight offoord moves, you won't
- 6:42Speaker 2: talk about the twenty tons of nuclear material that we have,
- 6:46Speaker 2: you know, enriched. And the President is like, his sole
- 6:52Speaker 2: focus is on the uranium. The uranium has to be
- 6:56Speaker 2: gotten rid of. And by the way, some good news
- 6:58Speaker 2: on that. Kazakhstan over the weekend, who already handles a
- 7:04Speaker 2: lot of nuclear materials in a very safe way that
- 7:08Speaker 2: have kind of been banned or shut down from other
- 7:10Speaker 2: countries and so forth, they have they actually have a
- 7:12Speaker 2: facility that can handle this. They have agreed to at
- 7:17Speaker 2: I don't think any costs to the countries involved take
- 7:21Speaker 2: the twenty tons of uranium from Iran and to dispose
- 7:25Speaker 2: of it properly. This is a huge This is a
- 7:28Speaker 2: huge victory because if you can get the Iranians and
- 7:31Speaker 2: the Americans in there and dig it all out of
- 7:33Speaker 2: the caves that have been crushed in on then you
- 7:37Speaker 2: can get it to somewhere where they can deal with
- 7:39Speaker 2: it safely, and you don't have to go that far.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Kazak Stand's not that far away.
- 7:43Speaker 3: But they are.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Uniquely equipped with the equipment and the technology to be
- 7:47Speaker 2: able to do this. And so they stepped up over
- 7:50Speaker 2: the weekend and said, hey, we will, we will take
- 7:52Speaker 2: care of that if you get us, if you get
- 7:54Speaker 2: us the uranium, will we'll make sure that it's it's
- 7:57Speaker 2: disposed of properly. Well, the President very high on that idea,
- 8:02Speaker 2: and I think that that's probably a great suggestion for
- 8:05Speaker 2: the people involved. However, also let me just add this
- 8:10Speaker 2: other headline from the weekend, and that is that the
- 8:12Speaker 2: Iranian president also appears to have resigned. Now you've heard
- 8:17Speaker 2: my theory on this here at this microphone.
- 8:20Speaker 3: We need to.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Wrap this up before July fourth, because we need to
- 8:25Speaker 2: give the world, global oil markets time to react, to
- 8:29Speaker 2: readjust and to have those prices come down. I just
- 8:32Speaker 2: filled my bride's car up this morning at the at
- 8:34Speaker 2: the pump four dollars and fifty five cents. That hurts.
- 8:39Speaker 2: It doesn't matter if the rest of the economy's working well.
- 8:41Speaker 2: That is hurting, and it's hurting in a lot of ways.
- 8:45Speaker 2: So we need to we need to get this done.
- 8:47Speaker 2: If we can have an agreement by July fourth, I
- 8:51Speaker 2: think then the fall is very favorable for the Republicans
- 8:54Speaker 2: and for President Trump. But if we don't get it done,
- 8:57Speaker 2: if we don't if we don't take care of business,
- 8:59Speaker 2: I think we're going to I think that there's going
- 9:02Speaker 2: to be some drama and perhaps tragedy on election night,
- 9:07Speaker 2: and I would prefer not to see that just personally.
- 9:10Speaker 2: But Iran their news agency at least saying that the
- 9:15Speaker 2: Revolutionary Guard Corps are saying that they're not going to
- 9:18Speaker 2: have any more discussions with the US until Israel stops
- 9:22Speaker 2: its operations in Lebanon, and I would just say good
- 9:26Speaker 2: luck to you on that, because I don't see them
- 9:28Speaker 2: going backwards anytime soon. President still has the ultimate card.
- 9:31Speaker 2: We can go in and cut out all their power
- 9:33Speaker 2: plants and shut down all their bridges. We can go
- 9:37Speaker 2: another round or two of leadership and assassinate all the
- 9:39Speaker 2: next levels. We could do that, Iran, if you're listening,
- 9:43Speaker 2: we can still do that. That's still our option. I
- 9:47Speaker 2: would encourage you to pick otherwise though.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Kevin McCullough coming.
- 9:50Speaker 8: Right back here.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Here he is from New York. Kevin McCullough.
- 10:16Speaker 2: All right, welcome in. It's Monday, taking off a brand
- 10:19Speaker 2: new week. Got lots to get to thank you for
- 10:21Speaker 2: being here, you know that. Here towards the first of
- 10:24Speaker 2: the show, we always like to focus in on asking
- 10:27Speaker 2: the big question, how do we live? How do we
- 10:29Speaker 2: live in a culture that is at odds with God,
- 10:34Speaker 2: is really at odds with his word, doesn't really have
- 10:36Speaker 2: any use for scripture at all. And then if you
- 10:40Speaker 2: claim to worship God or read his word or be
- 10:45Speaker 2: dependent upon either of those elements in your life, they
- 10:48Speaker 2: kind of look at you as though there's something wrong
- 10:49Speaker 2: with you. How do we live in the in the
- 10:52Speaker 2: midst of all that, because that's the culture that we
- 10:54Speaker 2: live in. I don't I don't think that I have
- 10:55Speaker 2: to like go on a long rant to explain how
- 10:59Speaker 2: all of that is evidenced.
- 11:01Speaker 3: But what I'm thankful for.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Is that we get to we get to proactively think
- 11:05Speaker 2: about how to counter it in our life as we
- 11:08Speaker 2: live it out each day. And I'm grateful to have
- 11:11Speaker 2: shepherds that do that with us. Pastor Severe Jenkins is
- 11:14Speaker 2: back with us. He's a pastor and founder of RUOC
- 11:17Speaker 2: Outreach Ministries. He was with us late last summer. And Sophia,
- 11:21Speaker 2: it's good to have you back. Thank you for being here.
- 11:25Speaker 2: You want to take us into literally a cave that
- 11:30Speaker 2: Elijah was in for a period of time, and we're
- 11:34Speaker 2: going to look at something very interesting this week. What
- 11:36Speaker 2: are we going to talk about?
- 11:37Speaker 9: Yeah, well, firstly, thank you for having me and glad
- 11:39Speaker 9: to be here. We're going to talk about really the
- 11:42Speaker 9: anatomy of a case which centers the conversation around Elijah's
- 11:47Speaker 9: experience prior to his road to this cave, if he will,
- 11:52Speaker 9: and in his experience therein It really begins at the
- 11:57Speaker 9: context where he's had this triumph over the followers of bail,
- 12:03Speaker 9: all those who he challenged to prove who was truly
- 12:08Speaker 9: the authority, the real God, at which point Yahweh Elohim Jehovah,
- 12:14Speaker 9: was proven to be the clear winner in that the
- 12:19Speaker 9: prophets of bail could not demonstrate the authority of their God.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it was one of the all time in scriptures.
- 12:26Speaker 2: It was one of the all time big wins that
- 12:28Speaker 2: you see, like God proved, proved and proved that it was.
- 12:33Speaker 9: Only him, absolutely, absolutely, and if that weren't big enough,
- 12:40Speaker 9: obviously the success was great. But the part that really
- 12:45Speaker 9: resonates that to me for this conversation is following that
- 12:49Speaker 9: significant success, that big triumph, Elijah moves from this great
- 12:54Speaker 9: event at Mount Carmel straight into this paralyzing panic attack
- 13:00Speaker 9: or because he received a single threat from Queen Jezebel.
- 13:05Speaker 9: He collapses. This is at First Kings nineteen one to four.
- 13:09Speaker 9: He collapses under this boom tree and the wilderness, and
- 13:13Speaker 9: he literally begs God to take his life. He calls
- 13:18Speaker 9: out the Hebrew word rov attah, which literally means it
- 13:23Speaker 9: is enough now, for it is too much now. So
- 13:29Speaker 9: when he cries this season, he's not just saying I
- 13:31Speaker 9: want to quit. Rather, because of the construct of the word,
- 13:36Speaker 9: the root of rov implies abundance or weight or great multitude,
- 13:40Speaker 9: he's literally saying the weight of the calling has exceeded
- 13:45Speaker 9: my capacity to carry it.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Though.
- 13:49Speaker 9: The precursor to the an avenue the cave is that
- 13:51Speaker 9: there's psychological implications of isolation that Elisa begins to experience,
- 13:58Speaker 9: because as you go through the text, will find that
- 14:03Speaker 9: when he addresses Guy, he says to him, now I
- 14:07Speaker 9: alone am left the popetive, bowed and fallen to bail
- 14:13Speaker 9: and eye alone and left. So he's walking with this
- 14:17Speaker 9: immense pressure and perspective that he is walking in an
- 14:21Speaker 9: isolation when truly he's not. And we'll cover that at
- 14:25Speaker 9: one point, but it's a significant and really debilitating condition
- 14:32Speaker 9: to be in when you find yourself isolated after being
- 14:38Speaker 9: on this emotional high of such victory, so much so
- 14:43Speaker 9: that now that velocity and that the gravity of the
- 14:47Speaker 9: shift from winning to survivorship, yea has now taken a
- 14:53Speaker 9: toll and become too much to carry well.
- 14:56Speaker 2: And I wanted to ask you about that because I
- 14:58Speaker 2: think we all have those moments in life where we
- 15:00Speaker 2: feel like, you know, we're kind of we've kind of
- 15:03Speaker 2: hit the top of the mountain, whether it's personal achievement
- 15:06Speaker 2: or something in our vocation, or even you know, something
- 15:10Speaker 2: with your family, you know, something you've been aiming for
- 15:14Speaker 2: or hoping to accomplish, or moving towards in terms of
- 15:17Speaker 2: a goal for a long time, and then you experience it,
- 15:21Speaker 2: and then there's almost it's almost like it should just
- 15:26Speaker 2: almost be expected that a crash is going to come
- 15:29Speaker 2: after that, because you can't maintain that euphoric, you know,
- 15:35Speaker 2: feeling of accomplishment or or thrill beyond you know a
- 15:40Speaker 2: certain amount of time. And this is going to come
- 15:43Speaker 2: to all of us, is it not?
- 15:44Speaker 10: It?
- 15:44Speaker 9: Most certainly is. I like to call it the victory
- 15:47Speaker 9: hangover right, the adrenaline clears. We experience this severe crash.
- 15:54Speaker 9: Elia thought that Mount Carmel was going to change the
- 15:57Speaker 9: entire nation. The disappointment of the silver bullet. It shattered
- 16:04Speaker 9: the remaining resilience that he carried. And so when we
- 16:08Speaker 9: compare that to the modern experiences we have today, elite
- 16:14Speaker 9: Olympic athletes or CEOs, after months of operating on pure agentlemen,
- 16:20Speaker 9: then you hit this massive milestone, You've reached the goal.
- 16:23Speaker 9: It's often followed a profound sense of depression or emptiness
- 16:28Speaker 9: rather than satisfaction.
- 16:30Speaker 2: In the Church, speaking universally, there's a tendency to underemphasize
- 16:38Speaker 2: or to in some way almost delegitimize those types of things,
- 16:45Speaker 2: and truly spiritually haughty people come to you and say, well,
- 16:50Speaker 2: if you were, if you were really following God, you
- 16:52Speaker 2: wouldn't have the law. It's pretty obvious Elijah did.
- 16:57Speaker 9: Yeah, Yeah, he definitely did. Isn't no thing even for
- 17:01Speaker 9: all the listeners that the cave of isolation is rarely
- 17:06Speaker 9: ever built during our failures or seasons of abspect or
- 17:12Speaker 9: abject failure. Raither it is most always constructed under the
- 17:18Speaker 9: brew tree, if you will, of our exhaustion, right after
- 17:22Speaker 9: the aftermath of our greatest victories. So it's in those
- 17:26Speaker 9: moments where we have to be most mindful that on
- 17:29Speaker 9: the other side of this mountain there likely will be
- 17:32Speaker 9: this sense of emptiness, this sense of overwhelm even and
- 17:37Speaker 9: it's then that we have to we have to really
- 17:39Speaker 9: be deliberate about maintaining continuity in our walk with God,
- 17:45Speaker 9: because he never promised that we'd have these consistent seasons
- 17:50Speaker 9: after seasons of pure victory. Rather, what he promises that
- 17:55Speaker 9: He would be with us, walk with us, and carry
- 17:58Speaker 9: us when necessary, such that when those times come we
- 18:02Speaker 9: have the means to survive and to thrive.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I do see this a lot in ministry in particular,
- 18:09Speaker 2: I know that pastors can sometimes go on fumes for
- 18:13Speaker 2: months and then some of the worst case situations is
- 18:18Speaker 2: they begin to in that moment of exhaustion or isolation,
- 18:22Speaker 2: they begin to either deconstruct or they get very angry.
- 18:27Speaker 2: And this speaks to the level of importance that it
- 18:30Speaker 2: is for us to not just maintain health and rest
- 18:35Speaker 2: and all the things that can help us on a
- 18:39Speaker 2: physical level, but community is necessary as well. I think
- 18:43Speaker 2: that's a big takeaway from the Elijah experience that community
- 18:46Speaker 2: is important.
- 18:48Speaker 9: Yeah, it most certainly is, and that is why when
- 18:53Speaker 9: we are marching toward the top of that mountain, it's
- 18:56Speaker 9: so incredibly important that we maintain those connections because victory
- 19:02Speaker 9: can easily cause us to believe that we had the
- 19:06Speaker 9: means to accomplish it alone, or somehow we did so
- 19:10Speaker 9: apart from the support of community or even at times
- 19:15Speaker 9: the work of God enough, and that can of course
- 19:20Speaker 9: cause us to isolate. And we hear it also in
- 19:25Speaker 9: modern culture, taught culture, they say things like it's lonely
- 19:29Speaker 9: at the top. Oftentimes that is the result in the
- 19:33Speaker 9: outcome of our own doing, our own activity, because we
- 19:37Speaker 9: have in fact shielded ourselves from the input, the support
- 19:42Speaker 9: continued integration of our community, and therefore have left ourselves
- 19:47Speaker 9: vulnerable because that is the ideal and optimal moment for
- 19:52Speaker 9: the enemy to attack.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Well, and it's one of the reasons why I think
- 19:56Speaker 2: so many churches strongly encourage the formation of community groups
- 20:00Speaker 2: or small groups where people in more intimate numbers can
- 20:06Speaker 2: become more fully accountable and acquainted with one another, and
- 20:11Speaker 2: in the process of that, have a lessened isolation when
- 20:16Speaker 2: moments come. We've got a lot to get to. We're
- 20:19Speaker 2: gonna look at First Kings nineteen for this week, and
- 20:22Speaker 2: Sophia Jenkins is our guest shepherd who is helping us
- 20:25Speaker 2: walk through this, and Sofia, I just you've already got
- 20:29Speaker 2: me thinking about ten thousand different aspects of this. We're
- 20:33Speaker 2: just gonna look at five of them this week. But
- 20:35Speaker 2: I appreciate you doing it with us.
- 20:37Speaker 9: I started appreciate this base you've allowed for Leeches Engrad
- 20:40Speaker 9: as well.
- 20:41Speaker 2: You got it all right, Sophia Jenkins, be back with
- 20:43Speaker 2: us tomorrow. Kevin mccallaugh coming right back from New York.
- 20:46Speaker 11: Don't go right, Let's stick around for more that Kevin next.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Here he is from New York, exact Kevin McCullough.
- 21:17Speaker 6: All right, welcome back, Kevin mccallaugh. Glad to have you
- 21:19Speaker 6: with us.
- 21:19Speaker 2: It's a busy Monday, and as we have much to
- 21:23Speaker 2: get to on the show. In fact, coming up the
- 21:25Speaker 2: top of the next hour, I've got another headline that
- 21:28Speaker 2: really should have been banteied far and wide. It wasn't,
- 21:32Speaker 2: but I will because I think it's that important. So
- 21:35Speaker 2: if that's a little bit of a hint a mystery,
- 21:39Speaker 2: come join us as we're kicking off a brand new week.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I just want you to remember the kids in the
- 21:46Speaker 2: Agent Tree camping program, and I'm asking for your help.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I'm asking for your help to bless the child. I'm
- 21:54Speaker 2: asking for your help to bless the mom and dad.
- 21:58Speaker 2: The moms and dads in this scenario are interesting because
- 22:03Speaker 2: they're obviously flawed people. They ended up in prison, but
- 22:07Speaker 2: they are also seeking redemption in that they have gone
- 22:11Speaker 2: through the prison Fellowship discipleship program, the Bible study program,
- 22:16Speaker 2: and upon completion of that, they have been given the
- 22:18Speaker 2: opportunity to nominate their child for a week of camp. Now,
- 22:27Speaker 2: not all prisoners do it. Some have a lot of
- 22:31Speaker 2: shame still attached to what they're dealing with, and they don't.
- 22:36Speaker 2: But the parents that have have specifically nominated their children
- 22:40Speaker 2: because they there's two things that they want out of this.
- 22:43Speaker 2: They want their child to find the same Jesus that
- 22:45Speaker 2: they have found, and they want their child to know
- 22:49Speaker 2: that their mom and dad have thought of them. And
- 22:52Speaker 2: the only way that they get to have Angel Tree
- 22:57Speaker 2: camp these kids is if mom and dad do this.
- 23:01Speaker 2: There's no random company out there looking for, you know,
- 23:06Speaker 2: children of convicts that are just putting people on buses
- 23:10Speaker 2: and sending them to camp. This is a very personal,
- 23:13Speaker 2: one on one parent to child gift that you get
- 23:18Speaker 2: to facilitate in the process of your gift.
- 23:21Speaker 3: And I just want you to imagine.
- 23:25Speaker 2: What it's like to join my campaign and send prisoners
- 23:28Speaker 2: kids for a week of fun, fresh air, christ centered activities,
- 23:33Speaker 2: life transformation in terms of recreation, but relationships, counselors, fellow campers.
- 23:41Speaker 2: So go to that kevinshow dot com click on the
- 23:43Speaker 2: Inngeltry ban at the top. In the short time I've
- 23:46Speaker 2: been telling you about it, We've sent over fifty seven
- 23:50Speaker 2: children to camp this month, but I've got about another
- 23:54Speaker 2: one hundred and a couple still waiting. Every year, Angeltry
- 23:59Speaker 2: Camp gets these kids out of bed, out of bad neighborhoods,
- 24:03Speaker 2: and away from gangs and drugs and risks them out
- 24:07Speaker 2: into the fresh air. They get to experience what it
- 24:11Speaker 2: is to be around Christian counselors and adults and people
- 24:15Speaker 2: that are wise, and they so desperately need this interaction.
- 24:20Speaker 2: The transformation that can happen in only one week of
- 24:23Speaker 2: camp is really heartwarming, and you're wondering how much impact
- 24:27Speaker 2: your donation might have. Well, listen to the words of
- 24:30Speaker 2: a friend from fellow Prison Fellowship. David moy is one
- 24:35Speaker 2: of the people at Prison Fellowship, and he had these
- 24:40Speaker 2: thoughts about what it means.
- 24:42Speaker 12: You know, I gave my life to Christ when I
- 24:44Speaker 12: was a teenager at a Christian camp, so I personally
- 24:46Speaker 12: know the power of God can do at camp. I mean,
- 24:49Speaker 12: you can only do three things as your money. You
- 24:50Speaker 12: can spend it, you can save it, or you can
- 24:52Speaker 12: give it. And I think giving it to an Angel
- 24:55Speaker 12: Tree camping scholarship is going to be the best week
- 24:58Speaker 12: of somebody's year. It's going to be a break from
- 25:01Speaker 12: chaos that they wouldn't otherwise have. And that's money money,
- 25:04Speaker 12: well given, moneymil well spent.
- 25:06Speaker 2: I really think it is if you're talking about return
- 25:08Speaker 2: on investment in terms of the amount of change and
- 25:11Speaker 2: impact you have the on the life of the child.
- 25:13Speaker 2: A scholarship funded by a gift from you will bless
- 25:16Speaker 2: one kid with an entire week of Angel Tree Camp.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Your donation of two hundred dollars, And if you need
- 25:22Speaker 2: to make that in a single gift, or you need
- 25:23Speaker 2: to make it in two months at one hundred dollars each,
- 25:26Speaker 2: or four months at fifty dollars each, whatever you need
- 25:29Speaker 2: to do, but a two hundred dollars gift from you
- 25:32Speaker 2: will combine to get these kids to camp. But you'll
- 25:36Speaker 2: you'll be sending a full child yourself with your two
- 25:39Speaker 2: hundred dollars gift. And we need to do this. Time
- 25:42Speaker 2: is running out, obviously. It's we've hit June. The camping
- 25:47Speaker 2: season is upon us. We want to make sure that
- 25:49Speaker 2: we get all the kids there that we can. Please
- 25:51Speaker 2: go to that kevinshow dot com. Please click the banner
- 25:54Speaker 2: at the top of the page. Please be as generous
- 25:56Speaker 2: as you can, and once again that Kevinshow dot com.
- 26:00Speaker 3: The Angel Tree banner.
- 26:01Speaker 2: It's it's at the top. It's it's animated, so it
- 26:05Speaker 2: looks like a little cartoon. Just click on that click
- 26:08Speaker 2: through give your gift. It takes two minutes to do.
- 26:11Speaker 2: And friends, I kid you not, this will be one
- 26:14Speaker 2: of the most meaningful things, if not the most meaningful
- 26:18Speaker 2: thing that will happen to the child that receives it
- 26:21Speaker 2: for the whole year that they wouldn't they wouldn't have
- 26:28Speaker 2: any other concept of what summer would be like if
- 26:30Speaker 2: you don't get them to Angel Tree Camp and friends. Obviously,
- 26:34Speaker 2: if you can do like a two thousand dollars gift,
- 26:36Speaker 2: you're gonna help ten kids find Jesus this summer.
- 26:40Speaker 3: If you could do a.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Multiple of even that, you'd help even more. But my
- 26:44Speaker 2: my plea with you is, will you help at least
- 26:47Speaker 2: one child this summer find Jesus through Angel Tree Camp
- 26:52Speaker 2: and in the same at the same time. In many
- 26:54Speaker 2: instances it did not work out in Judaiah's case, But
- 26:58Speaker 2: in many instances, you're bringing back together a child and
- 27:02Speaker 2: a parent in a way that is true reconciliation. The
- 27:07Speaker 2: parent is incarcerated, but this is a way that they
- 27:10Speaker 2: can tell their child that they're loved, they're not forgotten.
- 27:12Speaker 2: They're still remembered and it's just so powerful. Please please,
- 27:17Speaker 2: please go to the website that kevinshow dot com and
- 27:20Speaker 2: click the banner at the top of the page. It
- 27:22Speaker 2: takes about two minutes to make that happen, and when
- 27:28Speaker 2: it's done, there's another kid taking off my list and
- 27:31Speaker 2: ready to go to camp this summer. That kevinshow dot com,
- 27:36Speaker 2: that kevinshow dot com. All one word that kevinshow dot
- 27:39Speaker 2: com and click the Angel Tree banner at the top
- 27:42Speaker 2: of the page. Kevin mccallach, very glad to have you
- 27:44Speaker 2: with us, coming right back from New York.
- 27:46Speaker 13: Nay here he is from New York.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Ken Kevin McCollough, Welcome back.
- 28:16Speaker 2: It is that Kevin Show, that kevinshow dot com and
- 28:19Speaker 2: that's where you go to help a child find a
- 28:22Speaker 2: Christian summer camp this year, Angel Tree Camp, and not
- 28:25Speaker 2: just any kid. People have asked me, keV why is
- 28:28Speaker 2: Angel Tree Camp so special? And I say, well, it's
- 28:31Speaker 2: actually a really in depth program because what happens is
- 28:35Speaker 2: the Angel Tree children are suffering not because of choices
- 28:39Speaker 2: that they made, but because of choices that their parents
- 28:41Speaker 2: have made. Sometimes one or both of their parents happen
- 28:45Speaker 2: to be incarcerated, and as they are in the prison
- 28:49Speaker 2: and going through the Prison Fellowship program inside the prison,
- 28:53Speaker 2: completing a Bible study program, and doing some other things,
- 28:57Speaker 2: they are given the opportunity to then and their child
- 29:01Speaker 2: for a scholarship to go to a summer Christian camp.
- 29:05Speaker 2: And you may say, well, of all the things in
- 29:07Speaker 2: the world, why would they choose to do that? Because
- 29:11Speaker 2: Prison Fellowship understands how important this camp experience can be
- 29:16Speaker 2: in interrupting the recidivism cycle of not just the inmate,
- 29:20Speaker 2: but their family. Kids that have parents in prison, that
- 29:25Speaker 2: don't have people that intervene actively in their life a
- 29:29Speaker 2: lot of times end up going to prison themselves. So
- 29:32Speaker 2: Angel Tree, from their Christmas Gifting program to their Angel
- 29:36Speaker 2: Tree camping program, they're all about intervening in the life
- 29:39Speaker 2: of the child, especially while the parents not able to
- 29:42Speaker 2: be there but kind of on behalf of the parent.
- 29:45Speaker 2: In many instances where the parent has remorse, has sought
- 29:49Speaker 2: redemption for what they've done, They've studied Scripture, they've accepted Jesus.
- 29:53Speaker 2: They've said, Hey, I want to know more about this
- 29:56Speaker 2: and I want my child to know more about this.
- 29:59Speaker 2: And that's how these children actually get nominated for these scholarships.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Now I have a list of names that still has
- 30:05Speaker 2: about one hundred and fifty children on it, and we
- 30:09Speaker 2: want every one of them to receive a scholarship to
- 30:12Speaker 2: go to Angel Tree Camp this summer. Here to discuss
- 30:15Speaker 2: is Steve Collins, who's the senior program manager at Angel
- 30:17Speaker 2: Tree Camping. It's got about twenty five years of firsthand
- 30:20Speaker 2: experience in Christian camp ministry and Steve, I'm sure you've
- 30:23Speaker 2: had the same conversation. How do you tell people the
- 30:26Speaker 2: difference in Angel Tree Camp and the camps that you've
- 30:29Speaker 2: worked at in the past.
- 30:30Speaker 10: Well, you know, there are some key things we have
- 30:35Speaker 10: in Angle Try. We've got two types of partner camps.
- 30:38Speaker 10: Some of them are more traditional camps, and so Angel
- 30:41Speaker 10: Tree kids are able to attend a traditional camp environment.
- 30:45Speaker 10: And then we have what we call focused camps, and
- 30:47Speaker 10: these are camps that have a focus or an intention
- 30:51Speaker 10: in reaching specifically Angel Tree kids or kids with incarcerated parents.
- 30:56Speaker 10: In those instances, the kids are able to get specialized
- 31:01Speaker 10: programming that camp. So you know, you've got the regular
- 31:04Speaker 10: camp stuff, you know, the camp activities, the games, the s'mores,
- 31:08Speaker 10: the archery, you know, the crafts, all these these great
- 31:12Speaker 10: things that we think of when we think of camp.
- 31:14Speaker 10: But I thenk at the same time, they're able to
- 31:15Speaker 10: bring in speakers who can maybe have a history of
- 31:19Speaker 10: incarceration or know what it's like to have an incarcerated parent,
- 31:23Speaker 10: and so they can relate to the kids in a
- 31:25Speaker 10: very special way, and they can have discussion groups where
- 31:28Speaker 10: the kids can open up about what it's like to.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Have an incarcerated parent.
- 31:32Speaker 10: And one of the most powerful things that we hear
- 31:34Speaker 10: from parents who attend these camps is that my child
- 31:38Speaker 10: learned that they're not the only one. A lot of
- 31:41Speaker 10: these kids go around feeling like, I've got an incarcerated parent.
- 31:44Speaker 10: I've got to keep that under wraps. I've got to
- 31:46Speaker 10: you know, keep that away from from public knowledge, you know,
- 31:50Speaker 10: because they feel, you know, a level of shame for
- 31:52Speaker 10: whatever reason. And so when they go to an angeltry
- 31:56Speaker 10: camp and they find out that all these kids have
- 31:59Speaker 10: an incarcerated parent, it frees them to talk openly about
- 32:03Speaker 10: how they feel. And when the kids feel that freedom
- 32:05Speaker 10: to talk about it, then they're able to not only
- 32:08Speaker 10: express their feelings, but they're able to receive healing and
- 32:12Speaker 10: growth and compassion from the camp staff and find out
- 32:16Speaker 10: how even though maybe I've got a separation from my
- 32:21Speaker 10: biological parent, God is a father who loves me, and
- 32:24Speaker 10: he cares for me, and he's present with me right now,
- 32:26Speaker 10: and so it's a very special, special experience for those kids.
- 32:30Speaker 2: We want to give that focused experience to the children
- 32:34Speaker 2: whose names are on my list, because every one of
- 32:36Speaker 2: them has an incarcerated parent. Every one of them wonders
- 32:40Speaker 2: day to day, am I loved and I forgotten? Did
- 32:44Speaker 2: my mom or dad forget about me when they went
- 32:47Speaker 2: to prison. This is actually one of those really unique
- 32:51Speaker 2: opportunities where when you give your gift two hundred dollars
- 32:55Speaker 2: to send a child to Angel Tree Camp, when you
- 32:58Speaker 2: give that gift, it actually is done in the name
- 33:02Speaker 2: of the parent. The parent is actually given some credit,
- 33:06Speaker 2: if you will, for getting that kid to camp from
- 33:10Speaker 2: the standpoint that they're remembered and the child knows that
- 33:13Speaker 2: they were important enough to their mom or dad that
- 33:16Speaker 2: they were nominated for this program. And by the way,
- 33:18Speaker 2: they don't just hand out the opportunity. The mom or
- 33:21Speaker 2: dad have gone through prison fellowships in prison program where
- 33:25Speaker 2: they are studying scripture, they are listening to Bible teaching,
- 33:29Speaker 2: they are being confronted with their own sin. Most of
- 33:32Speaker 2: them come to faith in Jesus along the way, and
- 33:35Speaker 2: as a result, their hearts are naturally overjoyed and they
- 33:39Speaker 2: want to share the Gospel with their own children who
- 33:42Speaker 2: wouldn't want to. I'm not in prison, and I've always
- 33:45Speaker 2: wanted my kids to know Jesus. It's one of the
- 33:47Speaker 2: most valuable things that you can help a child and
- 33:50Speaker 2: a parent experience is for that child to come to faith.
- 33:53Speaker 2: So that's kind of the context that all of this
- 33:56Speaker 2: is kind of set against. And I really want you
- 33:59Speaker 2: to understand and friends, that when you give your gift,
- 34:01Speaker 2: you're completing the circle. There's a piece of it that
- 34:05Speaker 2: can't be done, but because you give the gift, that
- 34:09Speaker 2: last few steps of connecting those dots for that child happens.
- 34:13Speaker 2: And Steve, I think it's great that, especially for the
- 34:15Speaker 2: Focus program, that you have people with incarcerated backgrounds or
- 34:20Speaker 2: knowledge of incarcerated backgrounds coming in and talking to these kids,
- 34:23Speaker 2: because I'm sure they're loaded with questions that they've never
- 34:26Speaker 2: really been able to ask anybody, and to do so
- 34:29Speaker 2: in a safe Christian context where they can not worry
- 34:33Speaker 2: about who's looking at them when they're asking their questions.
- 34:36Speaker 2: You know, in that in the middle of that has
- 34:38Speaker 2: to be a reassuring, reassuring thing.
- 34:41Speaker 10: Absolutely, yeah, yeah, these kids, they they come away from
- 34:45Speaker 10: that understanding that they're not forgotten, that yeah, my parent
- 34:51Speaker 10: does still remember me, still loves me, still wants me
- 34:54Speaker 10: to have an experience like this. And then at the
- 34:56Speaker 10: same time, they're coming away with some old tools for
- 35:01Speaker 10: coping with this separation and how they can move forward
- 35:06Speaker 10: in their lives.
- 35:07Speaker 2: When you give your when you give the gift of
- 35:09Speaker 2: camp to one of these Angel Tree kids, you're giving
- 35:11Speaker 2: them green grass, bright Stars, fresh air. Maybe they've not
- 35:17Speaker 2: had any of those three in a very long time
- 35:19Speaker 2: where depending on where they live, but you're giving them
- 35:21Speaker 2: green grass, bright Stars, fresh air, and Jesus Christ all
- 35:27Speaker 2: maybe for the first time. And I just I can't
- 35:29Speaker 2: encourage you strongly enough to go to that kevinshow dot com.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Click the Angel Tree banner at the top of the
- 35:35Speaker 2: page that kevinshow dot com and click the Angel Tree banner.
- 35:39Speaker 2: It's got a little animation on it. You'll see it.
- 35:41Speaker 3: It's very simple to find.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Click that and give your best gift right now and
- 35:45Speaker 2: help a child find Jesus this summer.
- 35:48Speaker 13: Stick around for more of that.
- 35:50Speaker 11: Kevin next, serving it up with a no drink minim.
- 36:06Speaker 1: It's that cabin the show.
- 36:09Speaker 3: All right, friends, Calvin color Go, I'd have you with us.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Just a few minutes left in today's show, and I
- 36:14Speaker 2: just want to reiterate what I said earlier. If there
- 36:17Speaker 2: are five of you that will stand with us today,
- 36:21Speaker 2: that will say, I Am not going to let these
- 36:26Speaker 2: precious kids who have nothing working in their favor. They
- 36:30Speaker 2: don't have a stable home life, they don't have two
- 36:33Speaker 2: parents that aren't in prison, they don't have so much
- 36:37Speaker 2: in life they are robbed of, and yet they have this.
- 36:43Speaker 2: They have all of this in common. They have a
- 36:45Speaker 2: parent who's in prison, who has gone through the Bible
- 36:48Speaker 2: Study program for Angel Tree Prison Fellowship and in prison
- 36:55Speaker 2: for the prison Fellowship Angel Tree program them once they've
- 37:01Speaker 2: completed it, they have asked, They've been given the opportunity,
- 37:05Speaker 2: and they have requested, they have nominated, if you will,
- 37:08Speaker 2: their child to be allowed to go to a prison
- 37:12Speaker 2: Fellowship Angel Tree camp this summer in all fifty states
- 37:18Speaker 2: for the one closest to them to be able to
- 37:20Speaker 2: go to an Angel Tree camp this summer, so that
- 37:23Speaker 2: they can experience Jesus, so that their child can know
- 37:27Speaker 2: the God who made them, so that they can begin
- 37:29Speaker 2: to learn about how God loves them and why it's
- 37:32Speaker 2: so important. And friends, my earnest pleading with you is
- 37:37Speaker 2: that today we would help at least five children, that
- 37:41Speaker 2: five of you would be courageous enough to say, I'm
- 37:44Speaker 2: going to care about these kids that nobody else cares about.
- 37:47Speaker 2: The rest of the world has given up on them.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Their parents are in prison, they're getting what their family deserves.
- 37:51Speaker 2: That's how everybody else thinks about it. We as followers
- 37:56Speaker 2: of Jesus, we should be thinking about it from the
- 37:58Speaker 2: perspective of what does Jesus want for these kids?
- 38:04Speaker 4: What if?
- 38:04Speaker 2: What if one of them turns out to be the
- 38:06Speaker 2: Billy Graham of his generation? What if one if one
- 38:09Speaker 2: of these Angel Tree kids this year finds Jesus and
- 38:13Speaker 2: spends eternity in heaven in ways that they don't even
- 38:19Speaker 2: understand or realize could be possible. Now, friends, it's so vital,
- 38:23Speaker 2: and that's why I put the challenge out there. I
- 38:25Speaker 2: will match the first five children that we send to
- 38:30Speaker 2: camp today at eight eight eight two O six two
- 38:35Speaker 2: seven nine four eight eight eight two O six two
- 38:37Speaker 2: seven ninety four. I'm gonna match you child for child. Personally,
- 38:42Speaker 2: I need five of you to go and say, take
- 38:47Speaker 2: a name off the list. I'm taking care of that
- 38:49Speaker 2: child's scholarship to camp. The only way these kids get
- 38:54Speaker 2: to camp is through scholarships because they don't have money.
- 38:57Speaker 2: And Angel Tree understands howks of camping is. If you
- 39:01Speaker 2: go to a commercial camp, you're paying five hundred to
- 39:03Speaker 2: one thousand dollars for the week of sleep away camp
- 39:06Speaker 2: for that kid. They're doing it for two hundred dollars
- 39:08Speaker 2: per child in all fifty states. Kids whose parents are incarcerated,
- 39:15Speaker 2: who under no fault of the child at all, find
- 39:19Speaker 2: themselves living in a situation that's horrible. You rescue them
- 39:23Speaker 2: out of that. You take them to the beautiful outdoors.
- 39:25Speaker 2: They ride a horse, they swim, They learn about Jesus,
- 39:30Speaker 2: they open their Bible, they begin a relationship with him.
- 39:33Speaker 2: They make friends with other kids that have had similar circumstances.
- 39:37Speaker 2: When they wrote when they show up thinking nobody's going
- 39:39Speaker 2: to like them because their parents are in prison. Friends,
- 39:43Speaker 2: this is such unadulterated good. How can we not help.
- 39:46Speaker 2: How can we not help when the future the salvation
- 39:51Speaker 2: of these children hang in the balance. Friends, my plea
- 39:54Speaker 2: with you is, will you join me in this effort
- 39:57Speaker 2: and I will put my money where my mouth is.
- 39:59Speaker 4: I need.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I have people to stand up and say, yes, we

- 42:02Speaker 1: But is way grateful that is not who he used
- 42:05Speaker 1: to be.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Here, all right, Kelvin mccallaugh, welcome in, glad you're with us,
- 42:14Speaker 2: So grateful to have you here because we have got
- 42:17Speaker 2: an incredible hour ahead.
- 42:19Speaker 3: You know, we try to give you a little.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Bit of a sense of how you know, some some
- 42:27Speaker 2: practical things as it relates to some aspects of life.
- 42:30Speaker 2: So that you can actually have a little bit of
- 42:32Speaker 2: knowledge and actually improve your life in different ways. And
- 42:36Speaker 2: one of the subject matters that we talk about on
- 42:39Speaker 2: Mondays is how your money works. And today I've got
- 42:44Speaker 2: a couple of real treats for you, because we're going
- 42:46Speaker 2: to talk about what it means to actually kind of
- 42:51Speaker 2: hedge and guarantee a portion of your IRA IRA or
- 42:56Speaker 2: four oh one. K. Let's face it, that's your retirement.
- 42:59Speaker 2: You want it to be so cure, you want it
- 43:00Speaker 2: to not lose all of its value. And I've got
- 43:03Speaker 2: a really, really gifted person that's going to help you
- 43:06Speaker 2: understand how to do that. And then a little bit
- 43:08Speaker 2: later on, for those of you that are a little
- 43:10Speaker 2: more adventurous, I've got Hillary Kramer back with stocks for
- 43:14Speaker 2: this week, and she's always got really cool things. She
- 43:17Speaker 2: mentioned Campbell soup a couple of weeks ago. I did
- 43:22Speaker 2: a bunch of Campbell soup that weekend, and I've been
- 43:24Speaker 2: really grateful that I did. I wouldn't have known about
- 43:27Speaker 2: Campbell's soup and the value of their stock had she
- 43:30Speaker 2: not brought it to our attention. But that's the kind
- 43:33Speaker 2: of practical help that I get from these folks and
- 43:36Speaker 2: I'm just I'm really grateful that you can receive these
- 43:41Speaker 2: resources here every single day as we are kind of
- 43:46Speaker 2: walking through this life together. But on Mondays in particular,
- 43:51Speaker 2: we talk about the money, and we talk about what
- 43:53Speaker 2: is going on in the markets, and we try to
- 43:56Speaker 2: help you have information that helps you best plan for
- 43:59Speaker 2: your days and future ahead. Now, having said that, we
- 44:04Speaker 2: also still talk about the news and what's going on
- 44:06Speaker 2: in the in the headlines. And I there was this
- 44:11Speaker 2: little tiny headline and it wasn't even at Fox News.
- 44:14Speaker 2: It was at townhall dot com this morning when I
- 44:17Speaker 2: was just waking up from my night of slumber, and
- 44:22Speaker 2: I thought, this is such a big deal. This should
- 44:24Speaker 2: be headline news across every news agency in the country.
- 44:28Speaker 2: And as of this discussion, and right this very minute,
- 44:31Speaker 2: there's only a handful of places that are talking about it.
- 44:34Speaker 2: But I feel like it's that important. Here's what it is.
- 44:37Speaker 2: Texas just scored a very significant legal victory in the
- 44:42Speaker 2: ongoing fight to protect its citizens from the consequences of
- 44:46Speaker 2: federal immigration negligence. Here's what the fight was. And before
- 44:51Speaker 2: you constitutional scholars get all up in arms and fire
- 44:54Speaker 2: off angry emails at me, listen, I know that immigration
- 44:58Speaker 2: enforcement is primary a federal responsibility. That's the way it
- 45:02Speaker 2: should be. The Constitution says, that's what it is. The
- 45:05Speaker 2: federal government should lead, the federal government should enforce, the
- 45:08Speaker 2: federal government should secure the border, and the federal government
- 45:11Speaker 2: should do the job taxpayers are paying it to do,
- 45:15Speaker 2: which it turns out was the problem, which is why
- 45:19Speaker 2: this Texas case going to the appellate court was so
- 45:23Speaker 2: important because for four straight years under Biden and Alejandro Majorcus,
- 45:30Speaker 2: Americans were told two things simultaneously and consistently. First, only
- 45:36Speaker 2: the government, only the federal government, can enforce immigration law,
- 45:40Speaker 2: and second, the federal government wasn't particularly interested in enforcing
- 45:44Speaker 2: much of it. Then came the third part, the really
- 45:48Speaker 2: magical part. States also weren't allowed to do anything about it.
- 45:52Speaker 2: So you have the power vested in the FEDS. You
- 45:55Speaker 2: have the FEDS understanding and kind of bullying the state
- 46:00Speaker 2: saying it's our job, it's our job. But then you
- 46:03Speaker 2: had to Fed saying, but we're not going to do
- 46:05Speaker 2: our job. And by the way, States, you're not allowed
- 46:08Speaker 2: to do our job either, And that's how the Biden
- 46:10Speaker 2: administration got away with actually keeping the border wide open.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Now Even with this lawsuit being kicked down, the Texas
- 46:21Speaker 2: state government figured out ways to still try to dissuade
- 46:24Speaker 2: people from coming across. But they should have never had to.
- 46:28Speaker 2: States weren't allowed to enforce federal law. And maybe it's
- 46:33Speaker 2: because when I started working in radio one hundred and
- 46:35Speaker 2: fifty years ago, I spent most of my life listening
- 46:39Speaker 2: to people try to explain things. But whenever someone has
- 46:42Speaker 2: to try to explain their policy about immigration that hard,
- 46:48Speaker 2: it often means that there were too many lawyers involved.
- 46:50Speaker 2: And that's exactly what I feel like happened. The Biden
- 46:53Speaker 2: administration's position essentially boiled down to this, only we can
- 46:57Speaker 2: enforce immigration law, said Texas, then enforce it. No, we're
- 47:03Speaker 2: not going to enforce it, said the Biden administration. Texas said,
- 47:07Speaker 2: then we'll help Biden administration also know. And apparently that
- 47:12Speaker 2: was supposed to sound persuasive to Texas, but it wasn't,
- 47:16Speaker 2: and it didn't sound persuasive. It sounded like the kind
- 47:19Speaker 2: of argument your children make when they don't want to
- 47:22Speaker 2: do a chore but also don't want anyone else doing
- 47:24Speaker 2: it either. The Constitution grants authority over immigration to the
- 47:28Speaker 2: federal government. That is clear because America is one nation
- 47:32Speaker 2: and we don't need fifty different immigration systems. That makes
- 47:36Speaker 2: common sense. But here's another piece of common sense that
- 47:39Speaker 2: Washington somehow misplaced for many years. Authority and responsibility travel
- 47:45Speaker 2: well together. You don't get one without the other. And
- 47:48Speaker 2: if you insist that nobody else can do the job,
- 47:51Speaker 2: then you had better be doing the job. This is
- 47:55Speaker 2: not hard stuff, and that's where everything for the state
- 47:58Speaker 2: of Texas began to fall apart. What always amazed me
- 48:01Speaker 2: was how often the people lecturing Texans about border policies
- 48:04Speaker 2: seem to live comfortably insulated from the consequences of their
- 48:08Speaker 2: own decisions. You never hear the Bidens talk about the
- 48:12Speaker 2: terrible illegal immigrant crime in Delaware. Funny how that works.
- 48:18Speaker 2: And actually, let me pause there for a second, because
- 48:21Speaker 2: as a dad, this is where the conversation stops being theoretical.
- 48:25Speaker 2: I have a daughter, She's still at home, and like
- 48:29Speaker 2: every father worth his salt, there are moments when I
- 48:31Speaker 2: still find myself checking the locks before bed, or looking
- 48:34Speaker 2: out the window when a car sits on the street
- 48:36Speaker 2: too long, or making sure she got where she was
- 48:39Speaker 2: going safely.
- 48:40Speaker 3: I'm not paranoid. That's just fatherhood. And yeah, like.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Many fathers of daughters, I've had those nightmares, the ones
- 48:49Speaker 2: where you're trying to get to her but can't get
- 48:50Speaker 2: there fast enough, the ones where you're yelling but no
- 48:54Speaker 2: sound comes out. The ones you wake up in the
- 48:56Speaker 2: middle of the night and you send down the hallway
- 48:58Speaker 2: just to make sure everything is okay. Every dad listening
- 49:01Speaker 2: to me knows what I'm talking about, which is why
- 49:05Speaker 2: some of us get frustrated when politicians discuss public safety
- 49:08Speaker 2: as though it's some mere academic exercise or a talking
- 49:13Speaker 2: point for cable news debate. For parents, it isn't theoretical,
- 49:18Speaker 2: it's personal. The people who pay the price for failed
- 49:22Speaker 2: policies are rarely the politicians who created them. They rarely
- 49:27Speaker 2: are Instead, they're the families left behind afterward. And that's
- 49:32Speaker 2: why this debate that Texas has been going through matters,
- 49:36Speaker 2: And that's why the legal argument over Texas never passed
- 49:39Speaker 2: the smell test. To me, federal government, we control immigration Texas, Okay,
- 49:44Speaker 2: please enforce it. No, okay, then let us enfort No.
- 49:48Speaker 2: But the law is, we don't care. And let's be clear,
- 49:52Speaker 2: Texas wasn't trying to become its own country. Wasn't trying
- 49:55Speaker 2: to usurp the federal government and say, oh, now we're
- 49:57Speaker 2: the federal government. It wasn't trying to issue visas or
- 50:00Speaker 2: established foreign policy or opening an embassy in Cancun. Texas
- 50:05Speaker 2: was responding to a crisis that Washington spent years insisting
- 50:08Speaker 2: wasn't even a crisis. Millions of illegal crossings, record encounters,
- 50:13Speaker 2: communities overwhelmed.
- 50:14Speaker 3: And what we have to do now.
- 50:16Speaker 2: And the court has given Texas the permission to do,
- 50:20Speaker 2: is to help the Feds enforce their own policy when
- 50:25Speaker 2: they choose not to do so. Now, we're not gonna
- 50:27Speaker 2: worry about it for the next three years because President
- 50:29Speaker 2: Trump is going to make sure that that policy is enforced.
- 50:32Speaker 2: But somewhere down the line, there may be someone not
- 50:34Speaker 2: named Trump that's president, and it's going to be just
- 50:36Speaker 2: as important. Fan Calvin McCullough coming right back.
- 50:56Speaker 7: Here.
- 50:56Speaker 14: He is from New York, exact, Kevin McCullough.
- 51:03Speaker 6: All right, Kevin mccalloch.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Not to have you with us. It's it is the
- 51:06Speaker 2: money Monday, and this is the day in which we
- 51:09Speaker 2: focus on our resources, what we earn, how to best
- 51:14Speaker 2: hang on to it, how to best use it to
- 51:16Speaker 2: prepare for financial legacy with our kids. And over the
- 51:20Speaker 2: last number of weeks you've heard my next guest talk
- 51:23Speaker 2: about the idea of rolling over a four to one
- 51:27Speaker 2: k or an ira into actual physical gold and silver.
- 51:34Speaker 2: There are a lot of people listening right now, and
- 51:37Speaker 2: you may be one of them that says, I've never
- 51:40Speaker 2: heard that that's possible before. Well, not only is it possible.
- 51:43Speaker 2: We're going to do a little series here with David
- 51:46Speaker 2: Fisher of Landmark Capital, and he's going to tell us
- 51:48Speaker 2: not only you know why it's important, but there's some
- 51:51Speaker 2: of the best reasons why you might want to do it.
- 51:53Speaker 2: And we're not talking about necessarily your whole ira or
- 51:56Speaker 2: four one k, though you can do that, but it
- 52:00Speaker 2: least some guidelines on why it would make sense to
- 52:03Speaker 2: do a portion of it. David, appreciate you taking the time.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Normally you're giving us pretty interesting financial news around the world,
- 52:10Speaker 2: and you've talked about the de dollarization of the global
- 52:13Speaker 2: economy and how that's really not working out in Americans'
- 52:17Speaker 2: best interest. I just filled up my bride's car this morning.
- 52:21Speaker 2: It was four dollars and fifty cents a gallon. Times
- 52:24Speaker 2: are tough. People are thinking about my investments. Are they
- 52:27Speaker 2: going farther do are they getting the most? Are are
- 52:31Speaker 2: we not losing money in our investments? And for a
- 52:34Speaker 2: number of years you have touted that four oh one
- 52:37Speaker 2: k and ira backed at least partially by gold and
- 52:41Speaker 2: silver is not only doable, but that it's got a
- 52:44Speaker 2: real benefit to it. So we're going to take some
- 52:46Speaker 2: time over the next few weeks and we're just going
- 52:48Speaker 2: to tell people that if you have heard about this,
- 52:51Speaker 2: if you've been thinking about this, if you've said I
- 52:53Speaker 2: want to know more about that, I'd like to talk
- 52:55Speaker 2: to an expert, Well let me just tell you we
- 52:58Speaker 2: have got the expert bird of experts that are are
- 53:01Speaker 2: ready to speak with you about that. Write down this
- 53:04Speaker 2: phone number eight four four six oh four two five
- 53:07Speaker 2: seven five eight four four six oh four two five
- 53:11Speaker 2: seven five and as soon as you hear David and
- 53:14Speaker 2: I wrap up our conversation, give David's office a call.
- 53:17Speaker 2: He will take your call personally and he'll get back
- 53:20Speaker 2: to you if if he's on another call with another person,
- 53:23Speaker 2: but he will he will personally help you understand what
- 53:28Speaker 2: the significant about this. But we're starting this four part
- 53:30Speaker 2: series about why you should consider this David, and today
- 53:34Speaker 2: is part one. And you say it reduces your financial risk.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Part of the reason that is it is a good
- 53:42Speaker 2: thing to do is that it reduces our financial risk.
- 53:46Speaker 2: I don't think a lot of people understand, David Fisher,
- 53:48Speaker 2: what what their money is is is at risk with
- 53:53Speaker 2: how risky is our investment that is already out there
- 53:57Speaker 2: in the in the investments.
- 54:00Speaker 7: Well, first of all, I want to say thank you
- 54:01Speaker 7: as always for allowing me to come on your program
- 54:03Speaker 7: and educate your listeners. And first and foremost, if those
- 54:07Speaker 7: that are hearing my voice don't have a four to
- 54:09Speaker 7: one k or an ira, but still have money in
- 54:11Speaker 7: the market or money in the bank, this is.
- 54:13Speaker 4: Still for you.
- 54:14Speaker 7: But let's get into the question how does gold and silver,
- 54:18Speaker 7: you know, having it in a four to one k
- 54:20Speaker 7: or even outside of it reduced market risk. So let's
- 54:24Speaker 7: go back in history. We all know what happened in
- 54:26Speaker 7: two thousand and eight. That's a big problem. But the
- 54:31Speaker 7: problem didn't just all of a sudden start. It started
- 54:34Speaker 7: in really two thousand and four. The people ignored.
- 54:37Speaker 4: The warning signs.
- 54:38Speaker 7: Many of the times Wall Street said there's no major
- 54:41Speaker 7: problem happening on the horizon. Even the Federal Reserve Chairman
- 54:44Speaker 7: Ben Bernaki in two thousand and seven said there's no
- 54:47Speaker 7: financial problems in the markets. Obviously, both of them are
- 54:52Speaker 7: completely wrong. So when the major problem hit in two
- 54:56Speaker 7: thousand and eight, Kevin, it was not just a problem,
- 54:59Speaker 7: it was a massive problem. And as a result of that,
- 55:02Speaker 7: the largest brokerage companies on Wall Street, Barris Stearns and
- 55:05Speaker 7: Lehman Brothers went under.
- 55:07Speaker 4: Yeah, also two hundred banks went under.
- 55:10Speaker 7: Investors that panicked, you know, they got out of stocks.
- 55:13Speaker 7: The market went down, but those that stayed in it
- 55:16Speaker 7: took four years to recover, to get back to even.
- 55:19Speaker 7: But if you were one of those investors that paid attention.
- 55:22Speaker 4: To the warning signs before all this happened and.
- 55:25Speaker 7: Moved a portion of your four to one k or
- 55:27Speaker 7: ira into physical gold and silver, you benefited significantly. You
- 55:32Speaker 7: didn't have that market loss in stocks of thirty five
- 55:36Speaker 7: to fifty percent, which took four years to recover. On
- 55:39Speaker 7: the other hand, golden silver went up three times, that's
- 55:42Speaker 7: three hundred percent. You know, golden silver gives you protection.
- 55:47Speaker 7: It also grows in market value. But we're going to
- 55:50Speaker 7: talk about the growth aspect in the future. But remember
- 55:54Speaker 7: normally we have a twenty percent correction in stocks about
- 55:58Speaker 7: every seven years. We haven't had one since two thousand
- 56:02Speaker 7: and eight, that's eighteen years ago, so we're long overdue
- 56:06Speaker 7: for one. So it's not if it will happen, it's when,
- 56:10Speaker 7: and the severity of it could be devastating, because right
- 56:14Speaker 7: now we're going to talk about this if we have
- 56:16Speaker 7: some time here and dissect this that the very same
- 56:20Speaker 7: thing that is in the fundamental problem in two thousand
- 56:25Speaker 7: and eight is also happening right now. And JP Morgan
- 56:28Speaker 7: is sounding alarm, Jeffrey Gunlock is sounding an alarm.
- 56:32Speaker 4: Ray Dallio.
- 56:33Speaker 7: These billionaire hedge fund investors are saying the same type
- 56:37Speaker 7: of thing, and be aware, and they're all saying and
- 56:41Speaker 7: talking about gold. So it's not a thing that solves
- 56:45Speaker 7: all problems. But you know, it's kind of like you
- 56:48Speaker 7: wouldn't go to a party naked. You'd got to have
- 56:50Speaker 7: some money in the gold and silver market, so you're
- 56:55Speaker 7: not not protected. You've got to have your funds diversified.
- 57:01Speaker 7: Because it's not if this will happen, it's when and
- 57:04Speaker 7: the severity and those that heed the warnings will do
- 57:08Speaker 7: benefit by protecting their money.
- 57:10Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, and you brought up two thousand and eight,
- 57:12Speaker 2: and I remember hearing those names, Lehman Brothers. I remember
- 57:16Speaker 2: hearing the phrase too big to fail. I remember hearing
- 57:20Speaker 2: you know, all of the things that went through it,
- 57:22Speaker 2: and none of it stopped the hemorrhaging. But gold works
- 57:27Speaker 2: differently than stocks in that it has never lost its value.
- 57:32Speaker 2: It's never gone down to zero, it's never been worth nothing.
- 57:35Speaker 2: It's grown consistently year over year, decade over decade, sometimes faster,
- 57:42Speaker 2: sometimes slower, but it's always grown. And I remember just
- 57:46Speaker 2: a few years ago when you were telling me keV.
- 57:48Speaker 2: People say I'm crazy for saying this, but I think
- 57:51Speaker 2: the gold's going to be at four and five thousand
- 57:53Speaker 2: dollars here within just the next couple of years before
- 57:56Speaker 2: we go to our break. What are some of the
- 57:58Speaker 2: obvious signs they you're seeing right now that we should
- 58:03Speaker 2: be paying attention to and actually could trigger a big
- 58:06Speaker 2: downsize loss.
- 58:07Speaker 7: Well, two thousand and eight was not the largest market
- 58:10Speaker 7: that trigger things, But the market I'm going to talk
- 58:12Speaker 7: about today is the largest market in the world, and
- 58:16Speaker 7: experts are saying this is a big problem. I'm referring
- 58:19Speaker 7: to US treasuries and for decades Kevin, US treasuries were
- 58:23Speaker 7: treated as the ultimate safe haven. But a year ago
- 58:27Speaker 7: banks in the United States went under they invested in
- 58:29Speaker 7: US treasuries. So in nearly every major panic, money rushed
- 58:34Speaker 7: into government bonds, not away from them. But this time
- 58:38Speaker 7: they're rushing away from them. Why deficits are surging interest
- 58:43Speaker 7: costs or climbing form. Demand for treasuries is no longer
- 58:47Speaker 7: the place at this level of I want treasuries. Now
- 58:50Speaker 7: it's I don't want treasuries. In last October, David Kelly,
- 58:54Speaker 7: the chief Global Strategies for JP Morgan Asset Management, published
- 58:58Speaker 7: a note that the phrase was starkened.
- 59:02Speaker 4: He said, quote America is going broke.
- 59:05Speaker 7: This is the second in command at the largest bank
- 59:09Speaker 7: in the world. Why would he say such a thing
- 59:11Speaker 7: if there's not some factual evidence to it? And he
- 59:14Speaker 7: said in this report, the question he gets asked more
- 59:17Speaker 7: than any other question is quote, when will the federal
- 59:21Speaker 7: debt collapse end?
- 59:23Speaker 4: Quote? Think about that for a second.
- 59:25Speaker 7: We're talking about a collapse in the US bond market,
- 59:29Speaker 7: the treasury market.
- 59:30Speaker 4: Well he's not the only one.
- 59:31Speaker 7: His boss, Jamie Diamond said this April quote there will
- 59:35Speaker 7: be a bond crisis end quote again startling to hear
- 59:40Speaker 7: such a thing in the thirty two years I've.
- 59:42Speaker 4: Been doing this.
- 59:43Speaker 7: Even the IMF has chimed in and warned in April
- 59:47Speaker 7: that America's debt problem isn't the only country doing this,
- 59:50Speaker 7: but we're on it on steroids. But the rest of
- 59:54Speaker 7: the world has found this global financial disease also. But Kelly,
- 59:58Speaker 7: back to JP. Morgan doesn't miss words. He says, quote,
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: a financial crisis scenario is somewhat more likely than any
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: serious attempt for the government to reduce deficit, cut spending,
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: or increase taxes. And so the conclusion is, he says,
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: we must be reasonably assured that there is no serious
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: attempt to get this under control, and the alternative is
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: unfortunately a massive problem. But this time this is going
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: to be a much bigger than two thousand and eight
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: because this is the core of the financial system. This
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: is about the dollar, this is about the debt. And
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: he's not the only one talking about it. But you know,
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: there's many experts and this is why you got to
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: diversify and learn about being in.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: Gold and silver. Yeah, to protect yourself from this.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: We're going to take a break and when we come back.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: I want to ask you, because what we're focusing on
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: today is how doing this reduces our risk in the market.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: But I think some people may worry that it's a
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: little bit complicated, So maybe you can address, uh, just
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: how it works when we come back and friends. David
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: also has a very special offer for you that we're
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: going to tell you about as well. Eight four four
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: six oh four two five seven five eight four four
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: six oh four two five seven five. Write the number
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: down so you can call as soon as we're done talking.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Eight four four six oh four two five seven five.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: You can also look at his brand new, very fancy
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: schmancy website. It's very cool. I love it. It's got
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: all the latest market h notes and everything else on there.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: Landmarkgold dot com.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Landmarkgold dot com.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Kevin mccallach coming right back from New York State and
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: stick around for more of that.
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: Kevin next here.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: He is from New York. Exact Kevin McCullough.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: Welcome back. It's money Monday.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Kevin McCullough. Let have you with us, and if you
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: get the show when we're live two to four in
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: the afternoon, please call David as soon as we're done
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: he's got a special offer for you. He will take
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: care of you personally. And by the way, David has
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: been the source of gold and silver purchases that I've
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: trusted over the years, and I will tell you that
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: his customer service and the way that he handles each
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: and every customer is. So I so appreciate and trust
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: David On on the deepest levels, and so I know
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: that you will have a good experience as well. Eight
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: four four six oh four two five seven five eight
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: four four six oh four to two five seven five. Now, David,
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: we're talking for the next couple of weeks. We're talking
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: about the idea that you can take a portion of
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: your investments and convert them to gold and silver and
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: actually put that in your four oh one K or
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: your IRA and I you know, there's tax implications and
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: there may be you know, some people that say it
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: sounds complicated, it sounds difficult. Walk us through how this works.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: If somebody, let's just say they have a pretend portfolio
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: of fifty thousand dollars and they're saying we first of all,
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: they come to you and they say, David, how much
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: should I how much should I back with gold?
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: And silver.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: What's the first answer to their question.
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: Well, first of all, I put their fears at ease.
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: There is no tax liability, there's no tax implication because
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: you're rolling over from a qualified plan to a qualified
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: plan and you're just using gold and silver as the
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: asset class to protect you from downboard market movements and
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: possibly a big upside potential in gold and silver. How much, Well,
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: that's like the bookends, Jeffrey Gunlock says, minimum twenty percent.
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: The world's upside down financially, and we have a major
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: debt problem.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: So a lot of people putting.
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: In a lot more than that and have more money
- 1:03:59Speaker 7: in golden over once they understand all this than they
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: have in paper assets. But again that's not what we
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: tell people. We don't force people. It's all about education.
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: People make those decisions for themselves. But that will be
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: an interactive conversation as far as the process.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: And a lot of it, sorry to interrupt, but a
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: lot of it has to do with what the personal
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: investor's temperament is, and as you get to know them,
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: you begin to understand, you know, what their needs are.
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: I asked them about a half a dozen to a
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: dozen questions on what their style of it investing is,
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: and what their thoughts are moving forward. Where they think
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: about have they about gold and silver before? Do they
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: know anything about it? What do they think about government debt?
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: How are they going to take care of the government
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: debt of forty trillion dollars here coming up? And so
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: you know, through those answers to those questions, they determine
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: what they think is best for themselves. Because they're being
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: the steward of their funds. We are just the educator.
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: We're the person that gives them wisdom and knowledge. So
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: they're we're the facilitator. There are funds to work with.
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: The process is really simple, Kevin. It's a three step process.
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: Step one is kind of what we just talked about,
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: but we go a little bit in depth more on
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: how does this actually work. We draw it out together
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: with them on the phone. If a picture's worth a
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: thousand words, they see actually how it works, and then
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: that's step one. They get their eyes wide open they
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: learn about it. Step two is if the big if,
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: and most people do this. Once they learn about this,
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: we get the paperwork going because you know, just setting
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: up a four one K or an ira and in
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: of itself requires paperwork, so we facilitate everything. We fill
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: out all the paperwork we gave the gather all the
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: data of the person and we send it to them
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: and we go over each form and the forms each
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: reflect exactly what we talked about. It's a mere image.
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: We share with them what the purpose of each form does.
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: We're to sign and then the account gets set up.
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: The new account that is funds gets transferred and this
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: is the fun part. Step three. People get to choose
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: what markets or market they want to go in. We
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: do a thing called four columns. So if you never
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: heard of the four columns, you've invested in gold and silver,
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: that should tell you that you never heard of the
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: abcs in gold and silver.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: But that's really important for people to know that.
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: So we do it from start to finish, and then
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: we build a long term relationship. They're in physical gold
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: and silver. They got to choose what kind of products
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: they want and there's no tax liability.
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: They're protected.
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: One side note, there's an article that just came out
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: that's on Saturday says what to own before a bond crisis.
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: So news media is talking about this the answer in
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: this article and they're not a gold company, says own gold.
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: Just as a side.
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: Note, the government debt of treasuries went up almost a
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: trillion dollars. A new debt was issued in a week.
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: We are fastly approaching that bond crisis. Don't hesitate. Call
- 1:07:07Speaker 7: a company with no obligation, because we're having this real
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: good benefit for limited time. Only those that wanted learn
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: about doing this and do this. You're going to get
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: a discount at the time of trade. So if you
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: have an Irafol one K that has ten thousand dollars
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: or more, everybody who's hearing my voice that does this
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: will benefit you.
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: Don't have to figure it out. Just call a company,
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: get the information.
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: There's no obligation, and you will start the process of
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: learning and you'll see if this is right for you.
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: And if you actually do this, you'll benefit in multiple ways,
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: not just the golden silver market. You might benefit from
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: not losing money in stocks, but also you'll benefit having
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: a discount right up front.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: Talking to me, you know we've got on hand. Here's
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: where I think you know would do work really well
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: for you. And then I go and I study, and
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: I learn all about the different options, and I kind
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: of look them up on my own and so forth,
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: and then to come back and kind of put that
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: custom piece together is so much fun. And it sounds
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: and maybe it sounds silly, friend, I don't know, but
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: it's it's it's one of my favorite things about the
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: whole process. And I think you're going to find that
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: when you interact with David that you're going to have
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: a lot of similar good feelings as well. Here's the
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: phone number eight four four six oh four two five
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: seven five. Ask about the discount when you call eight
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: four four six oh four two five seven five eight
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: four four six o four two five seven five, or
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: look up more information on the really cool website Landmarkgold
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: dot com. Dave Fisher, we'll talk to you again next week.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Thanks for being with us.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: Looking forward to Kevin.
- 1:08:38Speaker 13: You got it.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: Calvin mccallaugh, coming back to uncle what.
- 1:08:56Speaker 14: Here he is from New York exact, Kevin McCullough.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: All right, money Monday, and glad you're with us.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: And we cover all aspects of the market and investing
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: and so forth. And Hillary Kramer is my stock queen.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: She's the best stock picker at all of Fox Business,
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: at least for twenty twenty five. She was because she
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: had six hundred percent wins. But Hillary, welcome back. It's
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: good to have you. I was off the last couple
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: of Mondays because of my little accident and then we
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: had Memorial Day, but it was it's good to get
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: you back on the show.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: Glad you're here.
- 1:09:31Speaker 15: I'm so happy you're back. And you're doing well, Kevin.
- 1:09:35Speaker 15: And let me tell you, while you were recuperating, the
- 1:09:38Speaker 15: stock market continued to do so well and climb that
- 1:09:43Speaker 15: wall and continue to hit new highs, which Dan prompted
- 1:09:47Speaker 15: me to try to find new stocks. And that's what
- 1:09:51Speaker 15: I'm going to continue to bring you. And we've talked
- 1:09:53Speaker 15: about this. I'm going to be bringing you on love stocks.
- 1:09:57Speaker 15: I'm going to be bringing you stocks that are underdogs,
- 1:09:59Speaker 15: stock that are unknown, stocks that are in the right
- 1:10:03Speaker 15: sector but are kind of like, you know, position number
- 1:10:06Speaker 15: four or five, but could easily, you know, have a
- 1:10:09Speaker 15: certain extra technology that could put them in first place.
- 1:10:13Speaker 15: So you know, this is what we're going to be
- 1:10:15Speaker 15: doing over the next few weeks. But for today, I'll
- 1:10:18Speaker 15: bring you three stocks that are relatively unknown and two
- 1:10:23Speaker 15: stocks that are well known but are underdogs.
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: Okay, let's start with the unknowns.
- 1:10:28Speaker 15: Okay, so let's start with the taker symbol f JET
- 1:10:31Speaker 15: FJ E T Starfighters Space. What I love about Starfighters
- 1:10:37Speaker 15: Space is it is a company that delivers satellites and
- 1:10:41Speaker 15: Saturday parts to outer space, but not by these rockets
- 1:10:46Speaker 15: that can blow up, but by but by F one
- 1:10:49Speaker 15: oh four jets that go supersonic fast forty five thousand
- 1:10:54Speaker 15: feet into the air and then launch from there. And
- 1:10:57Speaker 15: these payloads, these small payloads. It's a big business, and
- 1:11:01Speaker 15: so you could almost call it a niche business, but
- 1:11:04Speaker 15: it's a niche business that makes lots of money. But
- 1:11:07Speaker 15: this was really necessary, and now that we've seen what
- 1:11:10Speaker 15: happened to Blue Origin last week, we realized how important
- 1:11:13Speaker 15: it is. And FJEN is also it's also expanding. UH
- 1:11:17Speaker 15: they're doing training for those that are going into space
- 1:11:20Speaker 15: right because they have the the you know, kind of
- 1:11:24Speaker 15: waitlessness as those go up there. Do all sorts of
- 1:11:28Speaker 15: research for academics, UH in the UH in the space
- 1:11:32Speaker 15: industry and aeronautics. But really it's these payloads. You've got
- 1:11:37Speaker 15: to get the satellites into space and then they can
- 1:11:40Speaker 15: land back at the old Shuttle VANASA Shuttle runways.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: So I love it.
- 1:11:47Speaker 15: I think it's a great one. Let me move on
- 1:11:50Speaker 15: to connects You before I get to my cybersecurity one.
- 1:11:54Speaker 15: Connects You is really interesting. This is a recently public
- 1:12:02Speaker 15: biotech that is the next generation of fillers or collagens
- 1:12:08Speaker 15: for for scars for medical purposes, like people have they
- 1:12:14Speaker 15: have skin cancer and they have terrible scars for both
- 1:12:16Speaker 15: surgery and this bioregenerative formula can actually trigger the body
- 1:12:24Speaker 15: itself to start to plump up and create volume and
- 1:12:30Speaker 15: create new cells.
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:12:32Speaker 15: And it's really amazing. And they also have a cosmetic
- 1:12:37Speaker 15: h aspect, which is it's the next generation out there
- 1:12:41Speaker 15: for you know, for for what people have been doing
- 1:12:45Speaker 15: with injectables, especially with all this GLP one and stagging faces. H.
- 1:12:51Speaker 15: This is certainly the answer. And there was just a
- 1:12:54Speaker 15: press release and the company has been contacting all of
- 1:12:57Speaker 15: us that follow them about the fact that they're there.
- 1:13:03Speaker 15: Their regenerative collegen can be used for love ectomies and
- 1:13:09Speaker 15: that is so important. It's a whole new generation of
- 1:13:14Speaker 15: reconstruct what used to be reconstructive surgery for women that
- 1:13:18Speaker 15: are going through the well is it's beyond trauma, right,
- 1:13:22Speaker 15: It's beyond trauma. So I just wanted to let everyone
- 1:13:26Speaker 15: know and be aware of Connects you because I really
- 1:13:30Speaker 15: think that that's one that's going to be taking off. Okay,
- 1:13:33Speaker 15: now let me switch to another one, te V Tenable Holdings.
- 1:13:39Speaker 15: I love Tenable market caps small three point two billion.
- 1:13:44Speaker 15: Well obviously uh connects you and star fighters jets, that's
- 1:13:49Speaker 15: that's smaller but far. But what what Tennable does is
- 1:13:54Speaker 15: it's it's not all of its security and hypersecurity technology
- 1:14:01Speaker 15: that helps fill in with the gaps, right, you know,
- 1:14:04Speaker 15: and there's all this business.
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: You know, these businesses.
- 1:14:08Speaker 15: Are eroding so much value, so much reputation, Kevin, because
- 1:14:13Speaker 15: you know, they're cybersecurity, breaches, vulnerabilities, and Tenable is in
- 1:14:19Speaker 15: there doing everything from operating like operating vulnerable management systems.
- 1:14:25Speaker 15: They're doing cloud security, they're doing identity exposure, web app scamming.
- 1:14:31Speaker 15: I mean, they're just in every aspect of cybersecurity, and
- 1:14:35Speaker 15: I think we're going to see them really take off.
- 1:14:37Speaker 15: They're based in Columbia, Maryland, and I like where they're located.
- 1:14:42Speaker 15: They're very close to uh, you know, Washington, d C.
- 1:14:47Speaker 15: Which is where you want to be these days because
- 1:14:50Speaker 15: our government understands that wars are being fought through cyber wars. Right, Okay, Now,
- 1:14:57Speaker 15: let me talk about two other stocks that around a
- 1:15:00Speaker 15: long time that I've always loved. One is Applied Materials.
- 1:15:03Speaker 15: Now it's hit a new fifty two week high today
- 1:15:06Speaker 15: and you look at the chart and it's almost like
- 1:15:09Speaker 15: unimaginable how this stock has gone from like in a
- 1:15:12Speaker 15: year one hundred and fifty dollars to four hundred and
- 1:15:15Speaker 15: sixty two dollars. But there's a lot more opportunity for
- 1:15:19Speaker 15: Applied Materials. This was one we've always been working with.
- 1:15:23Speaker 15: What Applied Materials does is that they make the they
- 1:15:27Speaker 15: make the equipment that makes the semiconductors. As a matter of fact, gotcha,
- 1:15:31Speaker 15: twenty five years ago, thirty years ago, we look to
- 1:15:34Speaker 15: Applied Materials to figure out what was going on. They
- 1:15:37Speaker 15: were like the leadership was happening in the semiconductor space
- 1:15:42Speaker 15: based on what their backlog of work was, and real.
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: Quickly, what's your fifth one because we're short on time.
- 1:15:48Speaker 15: Oh I'm sorry. That is Lamb Research. Lamb Research all
- 1:15:51Speaker 15: is also doing great. Lamb Research is literally the fabrication
- 1:15:55Speaker 15: equipment for the semiconductors. It's a fabric the fabrication of
- 1:15:59Speaker 15: the integrated circuits. It's very similar to apply materials, but
- 1:16:04Speaker 15: they actually get even bored down and jury into conductor.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: All right, excellent, Well, be watching for Hillary on Fox
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: Business these days. And if you're not following her on LinkedIn,
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: you need to go follow Hillary Kramer on LinkedIn. It's
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: one l in Hillary and it's Kramer with a K,
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: and follow her on LinkedIn. She's got all of these
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: tips and more that she is posting on a regular basis. Hillary,
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: We appreciate it. Thank you for being with us. Thank you, Kevin,
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Kevin McCullough coming back from New York. Don't go away.
- 1:16:35Speaker 11: Let's stick around for more of than Kevin next serving
- 1:16:50Speaker 11: it up. It's a no drink mental. It's that cabin show.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: All right, friends, Kevin, it's all.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: I'm glad to have you with us. Just a few
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: minutes left in today's show. And I just want to
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: reiterate what I said earlier. If there are five of
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: you that will stand with us today, that will say
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: I am not going to let these precious kids who
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: have nothing working in their favor. They don't have a
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: stable home life, they don't have two parents that aren't
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: in prison, they don't have so much in life they
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: are robbed of, and yet they have this. They have
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: all of this in common. They have a parent who's
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: in prison, who has gone through the Bible Study program
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: for Angel Tree Prison Fellowship and in prison for the
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: prison Fellowship Angel Tree Program. Once they've completed it, they
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: have asked, They've been given the opportunity, and they have requested,
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: they have nominated if you will their child to be
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: allowed to go to a prison Fellowship Angel Tree camp
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: this summer in all fifty states, for the one closest
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: to them to be able to go to an Angel
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Tree camp this summer, so that they can experience Jesus,
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: so that their child can know the God who made them,
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: so that they can begin to learn about how God
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: loves them and why it's so important. And friends, my
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: earnest pleading with you is that today would we would
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: help at least five children, that five of you would
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: be courageous enough to say, I'm going to care about
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: these kids that nobody else cares about. The rest of
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: the world has given up on them. Their parents are
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: in prison, They're getting what their family deserves. That's how
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: everybody else thinks about it. We as followers of Jesus.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: We should be thinking about it from the perspective of
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: what does Jesus want.
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: For these kids?
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: What what if one of them turns out to be
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: the Billy Graham of his generation. What if one off
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: one of these Angel Tree kids this year year finds
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: Jesus and spends eternity in Heaven in ways that they
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: don't even understand or realize could be possible. Now, friends,
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: it's so vital, and that's why I put the challenge
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: out there. I will match the first five children that
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: we send to camp today at eight eight eight two
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: o six two seven nine four eight eight eight two
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: o six two seven ninety four. I'm going to match
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: you child for child. Personally, I need five of you
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: to go and say, take a name off the list.
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: I'm taking care of that child's scholarship to camp. The
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: only way these kids get to camp is through scholarships
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: because they don't have money, and Angel Tree understands how
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: expensive camping is. If you go to a commercial camp,
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: you're paying five hundred to one thousand dollars for the
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: week of sleep away camp for that kid, They're doing
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: it for two hundred dollars per child. In all fifty states.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Kids whose parents are incarcerated, who under no fault of
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: the child at all, find themselves living in a situation
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: that's horrible. You rescue them out of that. You take
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: them to the beautiful outdoors. They ride a horse, they swim,
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: They learn about Jesus, They open their Bible, they begin
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: a relationship with him. They make friends with other kids
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: that have had similar circumstances. Wrote when they show up
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: thinking nobody's gonna like them because their parents are in prison. Friends,
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: this is such unadulterated good. How can we not help?
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: How can we not help when the future the salvation
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: of these children hang in the balance? Friends, my plea
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: with you is, will you join me in this effort
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: and I will put my money where my mouth is.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: I need five people to stand up and say yes,
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: we will help a child today. Kevin, We've been listening
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: to you for the first three days. Now it's time
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: to take action. When we're ready to go. Friends, there's
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: one hundred and sixty two kids on my list. I
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: want all of them to be sent to to Angel
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: Tree Camp this summer. Please help eight eight eight two
