Speaker 1: Welcome in his verdic with Center Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson
• 0:03
Speaker 1: with you, and we are recording early on Sunday because
• 0:06
Speaker 1: I got the best phone call this morning. Center Cruz
• 0:08
Speaker 1: called me said, Ben you're my number one. I got
• 0:11
Speaker 1: you a ticket. We're gonna go to the UFC, and
• 0:13
Speaker 1: we got to get on the road to make this happen.
• 0:15
Speaker 1: So I got to say a big shout out Center
• 0:18
Speaker 1: for you pulling that off.
• 0:19
Speaker 2: That was amazing. I don't know how you did this.
• 0:21
Speaker 1: I don't know how you got that ticket, but you know,
• 0:24
Speaker 1: I feel very your plus one.
• 0:25
Speaker 2: It means more to me than I could have ever imagined.
• 0:28
Speaker 3: You know, Benjamin, I've just got to say day drinking
• 0:31
Speaker 3: is a really bad habit.
• 0:33
  Speaker 4: And you're a young man. If you're ten am r.
• 0:38
Speaker 3: My coff is stunk, confused, delusional, imagining things. I really
• 0:44
Speaker 3: worry how the rest of the afternoon is going to go.
• 0:47
Speaker 1: It's gonna be I'm groveling in my own knowing that
• 0:49
Speaker 1: you got the ticket.
• 0:50
  Speaker 2: I didn't get the ticket.
• 0:51
Speaker 1: I'm just gonna you know, I just I just want
• 0:53
Speaker 1: America to know that you will be there. I will
• 0:56
Speaker 1: not be there as a plus one. I just want
• 0:58
Speaker 1: everyone to understand that just is the pure sadness I
• 1:01
Speaker 1: have in my heart.
• 1:01
Speaker 2: But with that being said, we.
• 1:03
Speaker 4: Will went way out with you.
• 1:04
Speaker 3: You can take some comfort in the fact that rain
• 1:07
Speaker 3: is predicted in d c UH later this afternoon. So
• 1:10
Speaker 3: so I will be on the south lawn of the
• 1:12
Speaker 3: White House for the UFC fight. But but there's a
• 1:15
Speaker 3: very good chance that that I and everyone else.
• 1:18
Speaker 2: Doing my violent video.
• 1:20
Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, So apparently Ben is now doing visuals and
• 1:24
Speaker 3: what's primarily a radio and audio show. So so that
• 1:28
  Speaker 3: that's a good strategy.
• 1:29
  Speaker 4: Ben.
• 1:30
Speaker 1: Look, that tells you, That tells you where we are
• 1:32
Speaker 1: right now. My mental my mental state. But we will
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: I will power, So I.
• 1:35
Speaker 3: Will say Ben, this intro is actually quite apropos of
• 1:40
Speaker 3: the lead story we're going to talk about, which is
• 1:43
Speaker 3: bitter and envy from small, pet petty people and also
• 1:49
Speaker 3: extraordinary freedom and success. Now thankfully I'm not talking about myself,
• 1:54
  Speaker 3: but I am talking about the historic I p O
• 1:56
Speaker 3: this week of SpaceX and Musk and and you and
• 2:00
Speaker 3: I both know Elon well, we have had Elon as
• 2:02
Speaker 3: a guest on this podcast. By the way, if you
• 2:05
Speaker 3: didn't listen to our interview with Elon Musk. It may
• 2:08
Speaker 3: be my favorite podcast that we've ever done. We did
• 2:11
Speaker 3: two episodes. If you want to go back in the
• 2:13
Speaker 3: archives and listen to any show, that's the one I'd
• 2:15
Speaker 3: put at the top of the list. Elon and SpaceX
• 2:19
Speaker 3: this week did their IPO and at iPod at more
• 2:23
Speaker 3: than two trillion dollars massive IRPO, and the immediate result
• 2:29
Speaker 3: of it is it made Elon Musk the world's first trillionaire.
• 2:34
  Speaker 2: Yep.
• 2:34
Speaker 3: Now, that is an extraordinary threshold. To give you a
• 2:39
Speaker 3: sense of just how massive it is. I saw something
• 2:42
Speaker 3: on Twitter that is actually accurate, which is today Elon
• 2:47
Speaker 3: Musk is worth more.
• 2:48
Speaker 4: Than the nation of Canada.
• 2:50
  Speaker 2: Yes, and it.
• 2:52
Speaker 4: Is true that that.
• 2:54
Speaker 3: I'm sorry, no, no, no, I'm sorry, that is a misstatement.
• 2:58
Speaker 4: Elon is not worth more. SpaceX is worth more.
• 3:01
  Speaker 2: Than in Canada.
• 3:03
Speaker 3: So Canada's GDP is just over two trillion. SpaceX's evaluation
• 3:07
Speaker 3: is just over two trillion. But a second tweet I
• 3:10
Speaker 3: saw that that that illustrates.
• 3:12
  Speaker 4: The magnitude of.
• 3:16
Speaker 3: Just how much Elon has accomplished was the following observation, Ben,
• 3:21
Speaker 3: today you and I are closer in net worth to
• 3:26
Speaker 3: Jeff Bezos than Jeff Bezos is to Elon Musk.
• 3:30
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: That so that's my Is this my consolation prize? Like
• 3:34
Speaker 1: for this is you pumping me back up?
• 3:36
  Speaker 4: Right?
• 3:36
Speaker 3: So, look, Bezos is worth about two hundred billion dollars.
• 3:39
Speaker 3: That is a ton of money. You and I, if
• 3:42
Speaker 3: you add our net worths together, are worth zero billion dollars.
• 3:47
Speaker 3: So that is a delta of two hundred billion. We're
• 3:49
Speaker 3: not even a rounding air like like we're not at fall.
• 3:52
Speaker 3: But Elon is at one point one trillion, So there's
• 3:55
Speaker 3: nine hundred billion. But between Bezos and Elon and listen,
• 4:00
  Speaker 3: there's a reason about that, a reason we're going to
• 4:02
Speaker 3: talk about at greater length. But I think equally important
• 4:08
Speaker 3: is the reaction of the left, which is seething rage, hatred.
• 4:14
Speaker 3: They're envy and avarice. They want his money, they want
• 4:20
Speaker 3: to seize it, they want to confiscate it, they want
• 4:23
Speaker 3: to control it, they want to spend it.
• 4:25
  Speaker 4: They hate it.
• 4:27
Speaker 3: We're going to break that down, but I really do
• 4:30
Speaker 3: think it is a testament of why America is the
• 4:32
Speaker 3: most extraordinary country on the face of the planet, and
• 4:35
Speaker 3: why today's Marxist Left is a party fundamentally built on envy,
• 4:40
Speaker 3: and built on hate.
• 4:41
Speaker 4: We're going to break that down for you today.
• 4:43
Speaker 2: Yeah, it really is incredible story.
• 4:45
Speaker 1: Also, for a moment, I want to talk to you
• 4:47
Speaker 1: about our really incredible friends at the IFCJ working right
• 4:51
Speaker 1: now on the ground for all those in need. From
• 4:54
Speaker 1: America's revolutionary war to Israel's fight for survival in nineteen
• 4:59
Speaker 1: forty eight eight, both nations have faced moments that tested
• 5:02
Speaker 1: their courage, yet freedom endured. In October of nineteen eighty five,
• 5:07
Speaker 1: President Ronald Reagan delivered these remarks about America's commitment to
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: stand with Israel.
• 5:12
Speaker 5: In our talks, We've paid special attention to two issues,
• 5:15
Speaker 5: our commitment to Israel's security and well being, and our
• 5:18
Speaker 5: shared desire to move forward together toward a just and
• 5:21
Speaker 5: lasting piece between Israel and all its Arab neighbors. A strong,
• 5:25
Speaker 5: secure Israel is a shared interest.
• 5:27
Speaker 1: As Americas celebrates its two hundred and fiftieth anniversary, the
• 5:31
Speaker 1: International Fellowship of Christians and Jews reflects on the friendship
• 5:35
Speaker 1: between the United States and Israel, two democracies built on faith, liberty,
• 5:41
Speaker 1: and hope. Sign up to receive a free USA Israel
• 5:45
Speaker 1: flagpen when you go online to flag Pin IFCJ dot org.
• 5:51
Speaker 1: That's flag pin IFCJ dot org. All right, so, Senator,
• 5:57
Speaker 1: you look at this story, it breaks and immediately you
• 6:00
Speaker 1: could see the left they knew when the moment happened,
• 6:04
Speaker 1: they were going to go all in to not celebrate
• 6:07
Speaker 1: that the first trillionaire lives in the United States of America,
• 6:09
Speaker 1: that the first trillionaire employees an incredible number of Americans
• 6:13
Speaker 1: in this country and also just created a whole lot
• 6:17
Speaker 1: of millionaires for the first time. For people that started SpaceX,
• 6:20
Speaker 1: we're talking about welders, we're talking about people that were
• 6:24
Speaker 1: on the weight staff. We're talking about people that were
• 6:27
Speaker 1: janitors at SpaceX. They were there early, they were able
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: to get.
• 6:31
Speaker 2: A piece of the pie.
• 6:32
Speaker 1: And there were some interviews that came out of actually
• 6:35
Speaker 1: talking to these people. There's a welder, for example, there
• 6:37
Speaker 1: was an interview with him and he was talking about
• 6:39
Speaker 1: he instantly was worth about eight hundred and eighty thousand
• 6:43
Speaker 1: for what he did ten years ago when he was
• 6:45
  Speaker 1: a welder, just a welder. He's like, I didn't know
• 6:47
Speaker 1: what SpaceX was. I got a job. I started welding
• 6:49
Speaker 1: for them, and they said, hey, you're going to get
• 6:51
Speaker 1: some of these options in the company. We're going to
• 6:53
Speaker 1: give you some stock and now he's a millionaire. That
• 6:56
Speaker 1: is an amazing story. There was a janitor same thing
• 6:59
Speaker 1: that was literally house cleaning of SpaceX, and they didn't
• 7:03
  Speaker 1: celebrate that.
• 7:04
Speaker 2: No, no, no, it was an orchestrated effort.
• 7:06
Speaker 1: Elizabeth Warren was one of those and I want to
• 7:08
Speaker 1: play what she said from the back of her car.
• 7:10
Speaker 2: By the way, she's worth.
• 7:11
Speaker 1: Millions and millions of dollars and this is her excitement
• 7:15
Speaker 1: for all those that were brought up because of SpaceX
• 7:17
Speaker 1: and Elon Musk, take a listen.
• 7:19
Speaker 6: Elon Musk is officially the world's first trillionaire. Think about that.
• 7:24
Speaker 6: We're living in a time when more and more people
• 7:26
Speaker 6: are just hanging on by their fingernails to survive in
• 7:29
Speaker 6: this economy, and Elon Musk has more money and more
• 7:34
Speaker 6: wealth than anyone in human history. I want to be clear,
• 7:39
Speaker 6: this is not just some fluke. It is a feature
• 7:43
Speaker 6: of a rigged economy. Donald Trump's big beautiful bill cut
• 7:47
Speaker 6: healthcare for millions of Americans to give guys like Elon
• 7:51
Speaker 6: bigger tax breaks. The tax code rewards CEOs for firing
• 7:56
Speaker 6: workers and replacing them with AI have allowed Jeff Bezos
• 8:02
Speaker 6: to pay an effective tax rate lower than a Boston
• 8:05
Speaker 6: public school teacher, and we are left with a country
• 8:09
Speaker 6: where a handful of billionaires at the top pop Champagne
• 8:12
Speaker 6: and their three hundred million dollar yachts, while working people
• 8:16
Speaker 6: take on even more shifts to try to pay off
• 8:19
Speaker 6: their student loan debt. The top one percent of US
• 8:23
Speaker 6: earners now have more wealth than the entire middle class.
• 8:28
Speaker 6: We need to overhaul our tax code. We need a
• 8:31
Speaker 6: wealth tax, and it's about time that corporations paid their
• 8:35
Speaker 6: fair share. Today's marker should be a wake up call
• 8:40
Speaker 6: that enough is enough time to make change.
• 8:44
Speaker 1: Now center time to make a change. Forbes magazine back
• 8:47
Speaker 1: in twenty nineteen estimated her fortune while serving her country
• 8:52
Speaker 1: was upwards of twelve million dollars. That was in nineteen.
• 8:55
Speaker 1: I'm assuming she's made more money since nineteen. Her office
• 8:59
Speaker 1: tries to downplay it and say it's more around seven million.
• 9:02
Speaker 1: I just wonder is she a part of the wealth tax? Now?
• 9:06
Speaker 3: Look, you got to understand Marxists want to control you
• 9:12
Speaker 3: and confiscate everything you own. She is angry that Elon
• 9:16
Speaker 3: Musk did not make her his money by using government
• 9:21
Speaker 3: power to confiscate the assets of others. Rather, he built companies,
• 9:25
Speaker 3: not one company, not two company, not even three company,
• 9:28
Speaker 3: company after company after company. Let's just take SpaceX, which
• 9:33
Speaker 3: is the huge driver of the biggest chunk of that success.
• 9:40
Speaker 3: Do you know how many millionaires became millionaires overnight this
• 9:44
Speaker 3: week because of SpaceX?
• 9:45
Speaker 2: How many I saw this article? It's amazing.
• 9:47
Speaker 3: Tell it more than four thousand, four hundred, four hundred millionaires.
• 9:53
Speaker 1: And you know what it lives with Warren's wants to do.
• 9:55
Speaker 1: She wants to take a bunch of the money of
• 9:56
Speaker 1: all of those millionaires.
• 9:57
Speaker 3: By the way, and let me let me ask how
• 9:59
Speaker 3: many millionaires has Elizabeth Warren made? And actually there's an
• 10:03
Speaker 3: answer to it. It's not zero. She has made millionaires.
• 10:06
Speaker 3: And they are leftists and progressives who suckle off the
• 10:09
Speaker 3: teet of government, who steal from you, and and the
• 10:14
Speaker 3: left wing NGOs that she has shoveled millions and millions
• 10:17
Speaker 3: of the policies she supports has shoveled. They get rich
• 10:20
Speaker 3: off of exploiting the system. What has Elon Musk done.
• 10:24
Speaker 3: I'll tell you SpaceX. And I've been to SpaceX multiple times.
• 10:27
Speaker 3: It's based here in Texas. It is the most extraordinary
• 10:31
Speaker 3: technology company I've ever seen. They took uh Star Base Bocachica,
• 10:37
Speaker 3: which is the southern tip of Texas, six seven years ago.
• 10:42
Speaker 3: That was an empty beach. It was sandow dunes. There
• 10:45
Speaker 3: were some crabs, maybe a few lizards. There's nothing there.
• 10:50
Speaker 3: Elon came down and built an entire city. He built
• 10:54
Speaker 3: a city, He built a factory. The factory is producing
• 10:59
Speaker 3: space ships, one spaceship a month. The precisions are down
• 11:04
Speaker 3: to less than tenth of a millimeter. It is extraordinary
• 11:07
Speaker 3: what they're doing. By the way, that city. He also
• 11:09
Speaker 3: built housing for all of his workers. He brought in engineers.
• 11:12
Speaker 3: One of the amazing things I met this week with
• 11:15
Speaker 3: a lot of civic leaders, government leaders, community leaders, business
• 11:18
Speaker 3: leaders from South Texas the real Gate Grand Valley. Elon's
• 11:21
Speaker 3: transformed the valley. You know it used to be twenty
• 11:25
Speaker 3: thirty years ago. If you're a young person of the
• 11:27
Speaker 3: Rio Grand Valley, most young people felt they had to leave.
• 11:31
Speaker 3: They had to go to Houston or Dallas or somewhere else.
• 11:34
Speaker 2: There was no lack of opportunities there.
• 11:36
Speaker 1: There was really lack of opportunity there, and and that's
• 11:39
Speaker 1: why people left. And then he brought opportunity a place
• 11:42
Speaker 1: that had none of it.
• 11:43
Speaker 2: I mean that that's the real.
• 11:44
Speaker 3: Massive investment, billions of dollars of investment. And by the way,
• 11:48
Speaker 3: that billions of dollars of investment, it's not just the
• 11:51
  Speaker 3: employees of SpaceX. It's construction jobs, it's it's it's all
• 11:55
Speaker 3: of the jobs, support, tax revenue, everything, it's it's it's
• 11:59
Speaker 3: the kids of the employees are going to schools, they're
• 12:01
Speaker 3: going to churches, they're contributing to charities, they're doing Little League.
• 12:04
Speaker 3: The impact on the community is massive.
• 12:07
  Speaker 4: Now.
• 12:07
Speaker 3: One of the things Elon told me is he said
• 12:09
Speaker 3: initially when they were just building it, he said it
• 12:12
Speaker 3: was hard to get world class engineers, many from all
• 12:14
Speaker 3: over the country to come to South Texas, which was
• 12:21
Speaker 3: not super well developed. One of the things he did
• 12:24
Speaker 3: he built a little city for his employees. And he
• 12:27
Speaker 3: said their spouses, primarily their wives, didn't like being down
• 12:31
Speaker 3: there initially, So he built a tiki bar. And it's
• 12:35
Speaker 3: like a tiki bar out of the like the South Pacific,
• 12:37
Speaker 3: and they serve these like fruity drinks with umbrellas. Yeah,
• 12:41
Speaker 3: and he said the spouses like it and hang out
• 12:42
Speaker 3: at the tiki bar. The impact of what he built
• 12:47
Speaker 3: was extraordinary. No, I'll tell you something interesting. Do you
• 12:50
Speaker 3: know that a decade ago I predicted this.
• 12:54
Speaker 2: I'm going to tee this up. Hold on, hold on,
• 12:56
Speaker 2: I gotta tee this up for you.
• 12:57
Speaker 1: So, about a decade ago, you were at one of
• 13:00
Speaker 1: those Atlantic events where you sit on stage, someone interviews you.
• 13:04
Speaker 1: I want to be clear, just to put a timestam
• 13:07
Speaker 1: on how long a decade ago? Ted Cruz did not
• 13:09
Speaker 1: have a beard then, and his hair was just straight black.
• 13:13
Speaker 1: I didn't see any gray in it. And you even
• 13:16
Speaker 1: had an old school tie with the with the cross
• 13:19
Speaker 1: the cross stripes on it.
• 13:21
Speaker 2: That is how old this? This is? How long ago?
• 13:23
Speaker 2: A decade is ago?
• 13:24
Speaker 3: I just then then you're you're yet again showing the envy.
• 13:28
  Speaker 4: I'm wondering if.
• 13:29
Speaker 3: You're like a closet Elizabeth Warren.
• 13:31
Speaker 4: You know, go ahead, go ahead, don't let me get.
• 13:34
Speaker 1: It said so so, so I will play for you
• 13:37
Speaker 1: a decade old, no beard, facial hair, pure dark hair,
• 13:41
Speaker 1: no gray in it. Ted Cruz saying this an event,
• 13:44
Speaker 1: this is an HD or an SD, I'd say standard
• 13:46
  Speaker 1: definition television.
• 13:47
Speaker 2: That's how long ago it was. Take a listen to this.
• 13:50
Speaker 4: I'll make a prediction. Right now. The first trillionaire.
• 13:56
Speaker 3: Will be made in space, will be the on entrepreneur
• 14:00
Speaker 3: who invests and makes discoveries in space that we cannot
• 14:04
Speaker 3: even envision. Right now, we have billionaires. The prediction I'm
• 14:08
Speaker 3: making the first trillionaire will be in the space exploration world,
• 14:14
Speaker 3: and that is a wonderful incentive for a whole bunch
• 14:17
Speaker 3: of folks to invest and help us develop this, this
• 14:21
Speaker 3: this new and great frontier.
• 14:24
Speaker 1: I mean a decade ago, that's a pretty strong, bold prediction.
• 14:27
Speaker 2: It became true. I'm just mad you didn't tell me that.
• 14:31
Speaker 1: Prediction back then, because I would have put a lot
• 14:33
Speaker 1: of money into SpaceX. I would have found a way
• 14:36
Speaker 1: to invest center. But I you know, I guess for
• 14:40
  Speaker 1: the left.
• 14:41
Speaker 3: I will say something a decade ago, Elon Musk was
• 14:45
Speaker 3: not a household name. He was already having significant success.
• 14:49
Speaker 3: But I actually first met Elon fourteen years ago. So
• 14:53
Speaker 3: it was when I was newly elected to the Senate,
• 14:56
Speaker 3: and baby senators, they stick you in a basement office.
• 14:58
Speaker 3: It's sort of like hazy for the first four or
• 15:00
Speaker 3: five months you're in a tiny little office in the
• 15:02
Speaker 3: basement before you move into a real Senate office. And
• 15:05
Speaker 3: when I was there. Elon came to meet me and
• 15:08
Speaker 3: he just started SpaceX. SpaceX was this brand new company
• 15:12
Speaker 3: and at the time, SpaceX was not allowed to bid
• 15:18
Speaker 3: and compete to launch Air Force rockets and Air Force satellites. Yeah,
• 15:24
Speaker 3: and so Boeing and Lockheed had it completely locked down.
• 15:28
Speaker 3: They were the only two contractors and they launched all
• 15:32
Speaker 3: of the government satellites. And Elon's pitched to me. He
• 15:34
Speaker 3: wasn't saying, hey, I want to get these contracts. He said, hey,
• 15:38
Speaker 3: let me compete. I think I can produce a better
• 15:41
Speaker 3: product at a lower price. I can launch the Air
• 15:44
Speaker 3: Force's satellites cheaper than they're paying right now, and I
• 15:47
Speaker 3: can do it more reliably. And I actually spoke out
• 15:50
Speaker 3: in favor of it, not because I wanted them to
• 15:52
Speaker 3: get the contract, but because I believe in competition, and
• 15:54
Speaker 3: that's been my approach to space and everything else. Let's
• 15:57
Speaker 3: have lots of competition. That helps the pairs, that produces
• 16:01
Speaker 3: better quality. So SpaceX at the time was a brand
• 16:05
Speaker 3: new company, and the innovation, Like when I was saying
• 16:09
Speaker 3: the first trillionaire would be made in space, I wasn't
• 16:11
Speaker 3: necessarily thinking Elon Musk. I wasn't necessarily thinking thinking Jeff Bezos.
• 16:15
Speaker 3: Actually the comment I made, which is the incentive to
• 16:18
Speaker 3: become a trillionaire is going to cause people to invest
• 16:22
Speaker 3: a lot and innovate that That's exactly what happened over
• 16:25
Speaker 3: the last decade. You've had multiple The two biggest have
• 16:30
Speaker 3: have been Mosk and Bezos, but you've also got Robert Bigelow.
• 16:34
Speaker 3: You've got others who've invested and innovated in space because look,
• 16:38
Speaker 3: look the upsides. If you look at SpaceX, youve got
• 16:43
Speaker 3: a couple of drivers of it. One is Starlink, and
• 16:45
Speaker 3: more than ninety percent of the satellites that are in
• 16:47
Speaker 3: orbit right now SpaceX put up there. I mean, that's
• 16:50
Speaker 3: a staggering statistic. And starlink is now giving Internet connectivity
• 16:54
Speaker 3: all over the world and like the most remote wilderness
• 16:57
Speaker 3: in Africa you can get starlink. That's an innovation that
• 17:00
Speaker 3: has improved the lives of millions. You look at SpaceX. Listen,
• 17:05
Speaker 3: at the time I said that the concept of a
• 17:08
Speaker 3: reusable rocket, no one had really thought of that. At
• 17:11
Speaker 3: the time, everyone accepted. You fire a rocket to the air,
• 17:14
Speaker 3: you launch your payload, the rocket falls into the ocean,
• 17:16
Speaker 3: and you dispose of the rocket and Elon said, well,
• 17:20
Speaker 3: why do we need to do that? How about if
• 17:22
Speaker 3: we have the rocket come back and land And everyone
• 17:24
Speaker 3: laughed at him and said, okay, that's crazy, it doesn't
• 17:26
Speaker 3: work that way. And he said, well, what if we
• 17:27
Speaker 3: have giant arms chopsticks that grabbed the rocket out of
• 17:30
Speaker 3: the air, pull it down and set it on the
• 17:32
Speaker 3: landing pad. And people said, okay, you're nuts. You don't
• 17:34
Speaker 3: know what you're talking about. And so he just went
• 17:36
Speaker 3: out and did it. And he's done that over and
• 17:38
Speaker 3: over and over again. That's how you build a two
• 17:43
Speaker 3: trillion dollar company. And you know what Bernie Sanders says.
• 17:49
Speaker 3: He says today Elon Moscatrollionaire pays the same amount in
• 17:52
Speaker 3: the Social Security as someone making one hundred and eighty
• 17:54
Speaker 3: four thousand, five hundred. If we end that absurdity and
• 17:56
Speaker 3: lift the cap on taxil income, we can make so
• 17:59
Speaker 3: Security solvent seventy five years.
• 18:00
Speaker 4: So what does he want to do.
• 18:02
Speaker 3: He wants to jack up taxes. His reaction is anger, anger.
• 18:11
Speaker 3: Bernie Sanders. Also, if you look at what he tweeted here,
• 18:16
Speaker 3: here's what he tweeted, another nine hundred billion dollar paycheck.
• 18:20
Speaker 3: I can't do his accent, sorry for Elon Musk while
• 18:23
Speaker 3: sixty percent live paycheck to paycheck. Really, this is not
• 18:27
Speaker 3: only grossly immoral, it is insane economics. No survive society
• 18:34
Speaker 3: can survive when one man becomes a trillionaire while the
• 18:39
Speaker 3: working class struggles to survive. This cannot stand. I want
• 18:45
Speaker 3: you to hear those words again, but because they are
• 18:47
Speaker 3: ominous and you should hear them, this cannot stand. Bernie
• 18:53
Speaker 3: Sanders is saying that he intends to destroy Elon Musk
• 18:57
Speaker 3: when he says I will not allow you to be
• 18:59
Speaker 3: a trillion you cannot succeed in the communist world. And
• 19:07
Speaker 3: by the way, if you think communist is too strong
• 19:09
Speaker 3: for Bernie Sanders, bendy. Do you know where Bernie Sanders honeymoon?
• 19:14
Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure it was Russia?
• 19:17
  Speaker 4: Yeah, Moscow?
• 19:18
  Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
• 19:19
Speaker 4: And by the way, it wasn't Russia.
• 19:21
Speaker 1: Everybody has on their honeymoon list. When you're sitting there
• 19:23
Speaker 1: looking at your future ride and you're going, honey where
• 19:25
Speaker 1: do you want to go? Let's go to Moscow for
• 19:27
Speaker 1: a honeymoon, says no one ever.
• 19:30
  Speaker 4: Look.
• 19:30
Speaker 3: Look, it is incredibly revealing. Heidi and I went to
• 19:34
Speaker 3: Saint Thomas. Look on our honeymoon. We wanted to rock
• 19:36
Speaker 3: walk around barefoot and drink little fruity drinks and like,
• 19:41
Speaker 3: you know, get busy on the beach and just have
• 19:43
Speaker 3: fun and just just be a newly married couple. Where'd
• 19:45
Speaker 3: you guys do your honeymoon?
• 19:47
Speaker 1: We went to Mexico, We went to send Wan Toinejo,
• 19:50
Speaker 1: establish San Watinejo, and then Nicabo and I.
• 19:53
Speaker 3: Suspect you did the same thing. And it's on the
• 19:56
  Speaker 3: beach relaxation, Like.
• 20:00
Speaker 2: That's all that you need, right that in soun you're
• 20:02
  Speaker 2: good to go.
• 20:02
Speaker 3: Okay, that's like normal people. If you say, sweetheart, let's
• 20:08
Speaker 3: go visit the comrades. In the Soviet Union, which honey.
• 20:12
Speaker 1: Just to be clear, when he got married literally you're
• 20:15
Speaker 1: talking old school Russia.
• 20:16
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, we was the Soviet Union. It was the
• 20:19
Speaker 3: ussr was the country that honeymoon did. I don't even
• 20:22
Speaker 3: think Soviets honeymoon in the Soviet Union. You know it's look,
• 20:28
Speaker 3: this cannot stand. They want to destroy it. Understand it's
• 20:32
Speaker 3: it's based on envy. They want to destroy it. Even
• 20:36
Speaker 3: if they can't take it, they just want to burn
• 20:38
  Speaker 3: it down.
• 20:40
Speaker 1: Tesla should be the the the icon or a god
• 20:44
Speaker 1: of the of the green religion. Like if the Green
• 20:46
Speaker 1: New Deal the green religion, if you said who is
• 20:48
Speaker 1: your idol, you'd be like what to tesla?
• 20:51
  Speaker 4: Look.
• 20:51
Speaker 3: For more than a decade, they've been saying that that
• 20:55
Speaker 3: first global warming, now climate change is going to destroy
• 20:57
Speaker 3: all humanity. We're all gonna die. We're all gonna die
• 21:00
Speaker 3: in twelve years. By the way, that's been their mantra
• 21:02
Speaker 3: for fifty years, as we're going to die in twelve years.
• 21:05
Speaker 3: The twelve never changes. So this year they'll tell you
• 21:07
Speaker 3: we're going to die in twelve years. Next year they're
• 21:09
Speaker 3: going to tell you we're going to die in twelve years,
• 21:10
Speaker 3: And twelve years they'll tell you we're going to die
• 21:12
Speaker 3: in twelve years. I don't know why twelve is a
• 21:14
Speaker 3: magic number, but under their basis, what they were saying
• 21:19
Speaker 3: is we need to all move to electric vehicles. Now,
• 21:23
Speaker 3: Elon didn't say, like a good comrade, I will just
• 21:26
Speaker 3: mandate you must all buy electric cars. I don't know
• 21:28
Speaker 3: where you can find them. He said, No, I'm going
• 21:30
Speaker 3: to go build a business and make a whole bunch
• 21:31
Speaker 3: of electric cars. And here's an idea. I'm going to
• 21:35
Speaker 3: make electric cars that are really damn cool that people
• 21:38
Speaker 3: actually want to buy. Listen, tests are.
• 21:40
Speaker 1: To drive for you kind of cars. Yes, innovation, not
• 21:43
Speaker 1: green alternative energy obsession.
• 21:46
Speaker 3: Look the self driving, the technology, the clean, elegant lines.
• 21:50
Speaker 3: You know, I just just watched the new movie about
• 21:52
Speaker 3: Steve Jobs, and you look at at sort of brilliant
• 21:56
Speaker 3: revolutionary entrepreneurs and Jobs was was one. And you look
• 21:59
Speaker 3: at Apple his appreciation for the esthetics and simplicity, and
• 22:04
Speaker 3: Elon has very much the same appreciation for you know,
• 22:09
Speaker 3: you look at a Tesla where they've removed almost everything
• 22:11
Speaker 3: unnecessary from the interior, and the interior is very sleek.
• 22:14
Speaker 3: You look at SpaceX, they're dragon capsule that goes to space.
• 22:18
  Speaker 4: It's it.
• 22:19
Speaker 3: The inside almost looks like a tesla. It's very simple,
• 22:22
Speaker 3: it's very clean. It's not old hard industrial. There's an
• 22:28
Speaker 3: elegance to it. But if you believed, if Bernie Sanders
• 22:32
Speaker 3: or AOC or any one of the other Marxist left
• 22:35
Speaker 3: believed what they had been saying for years, these are
• 22:37
Speaker 3: the authors of the Green New Deal, they should be
• 22:41
Speaker 3: carving Elon Musk into Mount Rushmore because there is no
• 22:44
Speaker 3: human being on planet Earth in the hut.
• 22:47
Speaker 1: By the way back to the liberals are all they're
• 22:48
Speaker 1: going to hear from the show. I want to be
• 22:50
Speaker 1: very clear. Twenty minutes in, is you said that Elon
• 22:53
Speaker 1: must should be carved into Mount Rushmore, that will be
• 22:55
  Speaker 1: the headline.
• 22:56
Speaker 2: I just want to predict that right now. But keep going.
• 22:58
Speaker 3: It may well be. Although what I say is if
• 23:00
Speaker 3: the leftists believed what they said they.
• 23:03
Speaker 4: Should carve it, they should be doing to do.
• 23:05
Speaker 3: Because there is literally no human being who has existed
• 23:09
Speaker 3: in the history of humanity who has done more for
• 23:12
Speaker 3: electric vehicles than Elon Musk. But you know what, they
• 23:16
Speaker 3: hate him now you know how he could change that?
• 23:19
Speaker 3: Do you know whose wealth they're not calling to confiscate
• 23:22
  Speaker 3: George Soros?
• 23:23
Speaker 2: Oh, of course not.
• 23:24
Speaker 3: No, no, if you're a lam artist, if you pay,
• 23:27
Speaker 3: he's a massive billionaire. By the way, he made his
• 23:30
Speaker 3: money on arbitraging currency, on essentially betting and bankrupting lots
• 23:35
Speaker 3: of people. He made his money in a very very
• 23:37
Speaker 3: cynical way, shorting the British pound and causing enormous devastation.
• 23:42
Speaker 3: That's quite different from how Elon made his money building
• 23:46
Speaker 3: companies that employ thousands of thousands of people, innovating and
• 23:50
Speaker 3: transph forming the world. But you know what, the left
• 23:52
Speaker 3: loves George Soros because he funds their Marxist ideology.
• 23:56
Speaker 2: Look at Plattner, who we've talked about.
• 23:58
Speaker 1: Platner's biggest donor are four different multi billionaires, and they'll
• 24:03
Speaker 1: sit up there saying the oligark no oligarchs is on
• 24:06
Speaker 1: their sign and those signs are literally being paid for
• 24:09
Speaker 1: by billionaires. That's like hypocrisy one O one.
• 24:12
Speaker 3: And by the way, Bernie Sanders and AOC's no Oligark tour,
• 24:17
Speaker 3: they flew in private jets from stop to stop to stop.
• 24:19
Speaker 3: So you get off your private jet and say oligarchs
• 24:22
Speaker 3: are terrible. Yeah, And I don't know if you saw
• 24:25
Speaker 3: it was very funny. But Bernie was doing an interview
• 24:28
Speaker 3: h and asked, well, well, Bernie, how did you become
• 24:31
Speaker 3: a millionaire And he said, oh, by writing anti capitalist books.
• 24:36
Speaker 1: Which so he was capitalism caused him to become a millionaire,
• 24:40
Speaker 1: which he was writing books against.
• 24:42
Speaker 3: Look, there's a principle here that I think is really
• 24:45
Speaker 3: important for folks listening to Verdict to understand. The beauty
• 24:49
Speaker 3: of free enterprise is the way you succeed is by
• 24:53
Speaker 3: making others succeed. Let's take Tesla as an example. If
• 24:57
Speaker 3: Elon made crappy cars, they didn't work, they were ugly,
• 25:02
Speaker 3: if they were slow, they broke down a lot, nobody
• 25:07
Speaker 3: would buy them. And you know what, if nobody buys
• 25:09
Speaker 3: his cars, he doesn't make any money. He goes broke.
• 25:12
Speaker 3: Like free enterprises is ruthlessly efficient. If you can't solve
• 25:16
Speaker 3: a problem and improve people's lives, not only do you
• 25:19
Speaker 3: not make money you had a business, how do you
• 25:21
Speaker 3: make a ton of money? You make a product people
• 25:24
Speaker 3: like that is better than the alternatives in the market
• 25:26
Speaker 3: that people are willing to pay for and they're happy for.
• 25:30
Speaker 3: You look at whether it is SpaceX, whether it is Xai,
• 25:34
Speaker 3: whether it is Starlink, whether it is Tesla, whether it
• 25:38
Speaker 3: is the Boring Company, and the Boring Company is just
• 25:40
Speaker 3: getting started. But the ability to build tunnels, I think
• 25:44
  Speaker 3: that's another one that he's filling a knee that doesn't
• 25:49
Speaker 3: exist in the market. And I think for those who
• 25:52
Speaker 3: in terms of connecting, say a busy downtown where there's
• 25:56
Speaker 3: a ton of traffic, the ability to tunnel down and
• 25:59
Speaker 3: suddenly double your usable space, that is a transformational technology. Now, Ben,
• 26:05
Speaker 3: do you remember why he created the Boring Company?
• 26:08
  Speaker 2: Why was that.
• 26:10
Speaker 3: Because Elon has a unifying theme with all of his
• 26:13
Speaker 3: companies and it is going to Mars. He's filling a
• 26:19
Speaker 3: knee that doesn't exist in the market. And I think
• 26:23
Speaker 3: for those who in terms of connecting, say a busy
• 26:27
Speaker 3: downtown where there's a ton of traffic, the ability to
• 26:29
Speaker 3: tunnel down and suddenly double your usable space, that is
• 26:34
Speaker 3: a transformational technology. Now, Ben, do you remember why he
• 26:37
Speaker 3: created the Boring Company?
• 26:39
  Speaker 2: Why was that?
• 26:41
Speaker 3: Because Elon has a unifying theme with all of his companies,
• 26:46
Speaker 3: and it is going to Mars, and he is focused.
• 26:52
Speaker 1: When we interviewed him, we talked about this, him saying
• 26:54
Speaker 1: getting a person to Mars was like a life dream
• 26:57
  Speaker 1: goal of his.
• 26:58
Speaker 3: Look, not just getting a person to Mars, building a
• 27:02
Speaker 3: civilization on Mars. Because unlike the Marxists who have all
• 27:06
Speaker 3: of these apocalyptic language about how climate change is going
• 27:10
Speaker 3: to destroy us, mind you, their solution is so put
• 27:13
Speaker 3: us in charge of your life, let us be dictators
• 27:16
Speaker 3: because of climate change. Elon solution is okay. Elon's solution
• 27:21
Speaker 3: is okay. If the Earth is going to be destroyed,
• 27:23
Speaker 3: I don't know if it is or not, but if
• 27:24
Speaker 3: it's going to be let's go build a new civilization.
• 27:27
Speaker 3: And that's what he's working to do in each of
• 27:29
Speaker 3: his companies. Look, SpaceX Starship is designed to actually get
• 27:33
Speaker 3: us to Mars, not just get humans to Mars, but
• 27:36
Speaker 3: get enough equipment, get enough materials that we could build
• 27:39
Speaker 3: a civilization. Tesla electric vehicles are designed to power transport
• 27:44
Speaker 3: on Mars. The boring Company is designed because to build
• 27:47
Speaker 3: a civilization, to build a city on Mars, you need
• 27:49
Speaker 3: to dig tunnels. And so there wasn't nobody was doing that,
• 27:53
Speaker 3: and so he built a whole company to do that. XAI.
• 27:55
Speaker 3: The AI will be needed to build the Mars civilization.
• 28:00
Speaker 3: He asked him in the interview, UH said, what do
• 28:02
Speaker 3: you want to be remembered for? And he said and
• 28:05
Speaker 3: he said getting mankind to Mars. And and I asked him,
• 28:08
Speaker 3: I said, I said, do you want to die on Mars?
• 28:13
Speaker 4: And he said yes.
• 28:14
Speaker 1: And there was a one pause, by the way, which
• 28:16
Speaker 1: was really funny, said on Mars, not getting to Mars, right,
• 28:19
Speaker 1: there was anyone to distinguish that very clearly if I.
• 28:21
Speaker 4: Remember right well what he said.
• 28:23
Speaker 3: He what he said is yes hopefully not on impact, yes,
• 28:27
Speaker 3: which I thought was was quite good. And and that
• 28:31
Speaker 3: look that's how you innovate with capitalism. You create a solution.
• 28:36
Speaker 3: And what is the reaction to the left.
• 28:39
Speaker 4: It is envy. And we've heard.
• 28:41
Speaker 3: Bernie Sanders, we heard Elizabeth Warren. I want you to
• 28:43
Speaker 3: listen to Jimmy Kimmel uh to to really embody the
• 28:47
Speaker 3: leftist envy and contempt.
• 28:49
  Speaker 4: Give a listen.
• 28:50
Speaker 7: First ever trillionaire in the history of the world. This man,
• 28:53
Speaker 7: our first trillionaire, the richest man in the world, is
• 28:56
Speaker 7: also one of the weirdest people we've ever seen on
• 28:58
Speaker 7: this planet. This only wealthy weirdo has the ability and
• 29:02
Speaker 7: means to blow up the moon if he chooses, and
• 29:04
Speaker 7: also to put a lot of other people's money in
• 29:06
  Speaker 7: his pockets.
• 29:08
Speaker 1: You listen to that, just just the disdain there. It
• 29:11
Speaker 1: is a coordinated effort which goes back to my final
• 29:14
Speaker 1: question center. And I'll make a prediction here. I believe
• 29:18
Speaker 1: that the Democratic Party, if they gain power again in
• 29:21
Speaker 1: the House, Senate, certainly the White House, they will go
• 29:25
Speaker 1: after Elon Musk Yes and every one of his companies
• 29:29
Speaker 1: and every one of his government contracts because of what
• 29:31
Speaker 1: he did with Doge and the fact that he was
• 29:34
Speaker 1: an ally of President Trump, even though they've had their
• 29:36
Speaker 1: own little fights. They will move to destroy him and
• 29:41
Speaker 1: make sure that there's no part of our US government
• 29:44
Speaker 1: that uses anything that he touches.
• 29:47
Speaker 3: You are absolutely right and understand. These are not the
• 29:50
Speaker 3: Marxist of the like sit in the faculty lounge and
• 29:54
Speaker 3: muse abstract theories. These are the Marxists of the Stalinist kind,
• 29:57
Speaker 3: of the kind that go and crush their en means.
• 30:01
Speaker 3: If the left takes over, if if AOC or Gavin
• 30:04
Speaker 3: Newsom or some other leftist becomes president, you will see
• 30:08
Speaker 3: every single federal government agency weaponized and targeting Elon Musk.
• 30:14
Speaker 4: You will see them.
• 30:15
Speaker 3: Denying him licenses to launch satellites, denying him, canceling his contracts,
• 30:20
Speaker 3: the EPA shutting down his launches, Tesla, being investigated by OSHA,
• 30:25
Speaker 3: by the I R. S. Elon personally. They will make
• 30:28
Speaker 3: it their mission. This cannot stand, is what Bernie said.
• 30:33
Speaker 3: They want to destroy him for daring to demonstrate that
• 30:38
Speaker 3: free enterprise works. And I want you to think back
• 30:41
Speaker 3: again to what Jimmy Kimmel said, which is he makes
• 30:45
Speaker 3: obscene amount of amounts of money by getting other people's money.
• 30:50
Speaker 3: And let me just ask a very simple question Jimmy.
• 30:53
Speaker 3: How how does he get other people's money? And he
• 30:57
Speaker 3: does it one of two ways. One he does it
• 31:00
Speaker 3: by running a business. It's very profitable. So he builds
• 31:02
Speaker 3: a car people really like, and they decide, I like
• 31:06
Speaker 3: this car better than all the other cars, and it's
• 31:08
Speaker 3: really good, and it's fast, and it's super environmentally clean,
• 31:12
Speaker 3: and it looks cool and it's self driving, so I
• 31:16
Speaker 3: want to buy it. So he produces a product people
• 31:19
Speaker 3: really like and want, which, by the way, is also
• 31:22
Speaker 3: much much better for the environment, which you hypocrites claim
• 31:25
Speaker 3: to care about. But there's a second way. How did
• 31:27
Speaker 3: he make so much money this week? Well, he sold
• 31:30
Speaker 3: five hundred and fifty million shares of stock. And you
• 31:34
Speaker 3: know what unified every single person who bought that stock.
• 31:38
Speaker 2: They all wanted to make money.
• 31:40
Speaker 3: They did so voluntarily. Nobody forced them. Five hundred and
• 31:44
Speaker 3: fifty million decisions of people who said, I would like
• 31:48
Speaker 3: to purchase at least a share of SpaceX, I want
• 31:51
Speaker 3: to buy that. And by the way, it's not just gazillionaires.
• 31:56
Speaker 3: It's lots of moms and pops, lots of ordinary people.
• 31:59
Speaker 3: And you know what, you and I we probably don't
• 32:02
Speaker 3: know this, but you and I are both probably and
• 32:05
Speaker 3: most of our listeners are probably SpaceX stockholders too, because
• 32:09
Speaker 3: many of the purchasers were pension funds for a one k.
• 32:13
Speaker 3: So if you're in a widely diversified mutual fund, which
• 32:16
Speaker 3: most of my retirement savings are in mutual funds, many
• 32:19
Speaker 3: of them bought SpaceX as part of their portfolio. So
• 32:23
Speaker 3: the people who purchased he is literally making Americans rich
• 32:28
Speaker 3: all across the country. And if you're really good at that,
• 32:31
Speaker 3: you make a bunch of money too. Leftists hate that.
• 32:34
Speaker 3: They want to destroy you, and they also want to
• 32:36
Speaker 3: take the money. They want government in charge of it,
• 32:39
Speaker 3: and they want the only way you can make money
• 32:41
Speaker 3: is for government to give you a check every month.
• 32:43
Speaker 3: So you got to go vote to re elect the
• 32:45
Speaker 3: Marxist and keep them in power. I want to say
• 32:47
Speaker 3: to Elon Musk, Gwen Shot well, to everyone at SpaceX, Congratulations.
• 32:52
Speaker 3: This was an historic week. God bless capitalism, God blessed.
