- 3:15Speaker 7: Fucking goofy bastard.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Yeah, but he he has very good reasons for not
- 3:19Speaker 3: being here, so we we Yet, we hope he's okay
- 3:23Speaker 3: and that everyone uh is taking the time, they need
- 3:26Speaker 3: to to grieve.
- 3:28Speaker 7: Uh.
- 3:29Speaker 3: An additional note is that Roan was saying the lead
- 3:35Speaker 3: part for pop punk the musical in back to Back.
- 3:40Speaker 7: The lead part definitely makes it seem like it's a role.
- 3:44Speaker 3: In Back to Back.
- 3:45Speaker 7: I played Jean Valjean in pop punk.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Dude. I listened to musicals the whole drive home from
- 3:52Speaker 3: the Hudson Valley yesterday.
- 3:54Speaker 7: Did you sing along?
- 3:54Speaker 3: I certainly did. And I didn't just sing along, I
- 3:58Speaker 3: did the faces.
- 4:00Speaker 7: What do you mean what musical? Did you listen to it?
- 4:02Speaker 3: Well? I started with a bunch of Disney ones and
- 4:04Speaker 3: then I moved into sound of Music.
- 4:08Speaker 7: Sound of Music is a timeless classic.
- 4:10Speaker 3: It's unbelievable. Hi, Honah Hill was a lonely go to
- 4:13Speaker 3: Clay lay or lay.
- 4:16Speaker 7: That's one of the uh. I think that's one of
- 4:18Speaker 7: my least favorite songs from it though.
- 4:20Speaker 3: It is my least favorite song. And I knew that
- 4:22Speaker 3: because I knew the least words.
- 4:24Speaker 7: What the fuck is that song? Even in there, they
- 4:26Speaker 7: just needed a yodling song to kind of satisfy the
- 4:28Speaker 7: Austrian countryside.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Maria is struggling to find ways to entertain the children,
- 4:33Speaker 3: and they're putting on a puppet show, and I think, yeah,
- 4:36Speaker 3: it is another one that is supposed to sing to
- 4:40Speaker 3: the heartbeat of Austria.
- 4:42Speaker 7: They're jamming too many musicals, too many songs and musicals
- 4:45Speaker 7: these days for those days, I guess that's a foregone era.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Do you know what I heard is that Christopher Plumber
- 4:51Speaker 3: and Lisel had some some bad behavior going on on
- 4:56Speaker 3: the on the set.
- 4:58Speaker 7: Was Christopher Plumber? Who is he?
- 5:00Speaker 3: Captain Trap?
- 5:01Speaker 7: Oh?
- 5:01Speaker 3: What, by the way, if you go back and look
- 5:03Speaker 3: at him in that movie, he might be the most
- 5:05Speaker 3: handsome man ever to live. But she's sixteen, well going
- 5:08Speaker 3: on seventeen though.
- 5:09Speaker 7: Yeah, but what does that mean? You can't be sixteen
- 5:11Speaker 7: going on eighteen.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I don't know how old she was when she was
- 5:14Speaker 3: in the film. Could you possibly owen for do a
- 5:17Speaker 3: quick check and see the actresses age that played Lesol
- 5:21Speaker 3: it's l I E. S L I believe beautiful name.
- 5:24Speaker 7: Yeah, but what what the hell? She was philandering with
- 5:27Speaker 7: the fucking captain vall Trap.
- 5:29Speaker 3: You could see it in her. She was full of
- 5:31Speaker 3: mischief in that eye of hers. No Charmion Carr.
- 5:37Speaker 7: It's good a birthday in the year it came out,
- 5:39Speaker 7: because I mean that would really make the Nazis mad.
- 5:48Speaker 7: Born forty two, came.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Out twenty three years old. That's totally fine. Four, that's
- 5:55Speaker 3: within the age of reason. So, uh he's steaming mad Nazis.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Do you remember you could tell you could tell something.
- 6:03Speaker 3: There's that great moment when they're saying goodbye to the
- 6:05Speaker 3: whole party, Yes, and.
- 6:06Speaker 7: They open mouth kiss. I remember that now. I remember
- 6:10Speaker 7: that he fucking dirty dancing lifts her by her crotch
- 6:14Speaker 7: over the fucking von Trapp family mansion.
- 6:17Speaker 3: She says, I'd like to stay and taste my first champagne. Yes,
- 6:24Speaker 3: and he goes no. And there's a little bit there.
- 6:29Speaker 7: There's something there are the flirtatious How did you hear that?
- 6:32Speaker 7: How did you find that? Uh?
- 6:35Speaker 3: So someone was telling me that that that was the
- 6:38Speaker 3: rumor my grandfather, I believe, went on a date with
- 6:44Speaker 3: the real youngest von Trapp.
- 6:48Speaker 7: What the fuck?
- 6:50Speaker 3: I think I have that right or something like that.
- 6:54Speaker 7: And I heard that they like they tried to smoke
- 6:56Speaker 7: weed and play piano together.
- 6:58Speaker 3: But yeah, she's been smoking that Austrian Alps swede and
- 7:03Speaker 3: she had a high tolerance. And my grandfather was just
- 7:06Speaker 3: trying to be you know, in the moment.
- 7:07Speaker 7: They just kind of hug goodbye, and there was nothing
- 7:09Speaker 7: became of it.
- 7:10Speaker 3: She was out of sleep. She'd already escaped the Nazis
- 7:12Speaker 3: by hiking over the Alps.
- 7:14Speaker 7: It was Nicky Glazer von Trapp. Everyone remembers it. Well,
- 7:20Speaker 7: a timely story. Damn, that's fucking good lore. Yeah, good lor,
- 7:24Speaker 7: you have a good Von Trapp lore.
- 7:26Speaker 3: I think the ages, I think that was the story
- 7:28Speaker 3: was that my grandfather had once gone on a date
- 7:31Speaker 3: with the real youngest vawn trap girl, the one who
- 7:34Speaker 3: goes the sun has gone too bad and so much.
- 7:38Speaker 7: I and performatively tries to sleep on the steps.
- 7:42Speaker 3: She does goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, and then they all respond
- 7:48Speaker 3: good bye, and then one.
- 7:51Speaker 7: Of them hits like a glass shattering note.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Yeah, well, uh, that's Julie Andrews singing in the high
- 7:59Speaker 3: Sea in Do Raymi, which again we've talked about this right.
- 8:04Speaker 3: My issue with hate hate.
- 8:06Speaker 7: To fa fax one and law la, I hate laws lazy.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Well, what did they say about law in the song?
- 8:15Speaker 7: Do you remember a note to follow?
- 8:16Speaker 3: So what the fuck is that?
- 8:18Speaker 7: That doesn't make any sense?
- 8:19Speaker 3: About the Spanish for the would be fucking great?
- 8:22Speaker 7: Would that would have played, so she hits high Seed
- 8:25Speaker 7: multiple songs.
- 8:26Speaker 3: In Raimi is the one where I think she sings
- 8:28Speaker 3: the high Sea. I don't think she does it in
- 8:29Speaker 3: that goodbye song.
- 8:32Speaker 7: I thought that there was like or maybe it's one
- 8:34Speaker 7: of the boys that does it. Isn't there one?
- 8:36Speaker 3: Oh yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 8:38Speaker 7: I can't even hit it right now. It's one of
- 8:40Speaker 7: the fucking boys. And that's why they had to get
- 8:43Speaker 7: out of Germany because one of the young von Trapps
- 8:45Speaker 7: was gay as well. He like twinkles out on his
- 8:49Speaker 7: toes and hurries out of there. But you know who
- 8:52Speaker 7: was probably pissed about the leasel and Papa von Trapp
- 8:57Speaker 7: romance is Julie Andrews. I would want Why wouldn't she
- 9:01Speaker 7: be fucking steaming mad about that?
- 9:03Speaker 3: That's that is a total total foreign in the on
- 9:06Speaker 3: screen romance.
- 9:07Speaker 7: But that makes so much more sense. Why would he
- 9:09Speaker 7: want that cobwebbed nun pussy when he have his own
- 9:13Speaker 7: sixteen year old.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Daughter's underneath her bonnet. She did have curlers in her hair.
- 9:19Speaker 7: Oh I forgot.
- 9:20Speaker 3: There's nothing hornier than a rebellious nun, one that constantly
- 9:24Speaker 3: escapes the abbey.
- 9:27Speaker 7: In that time, yeah, because she was probably forced to
- 9:29Speaker 7: nun at gunpoints. Right, There's no way she'd pine for
- 9:32Speaker 7: the abbey.
- 9:33Speaker 3: If I learned anything from that viral Mia Khalifa adult
- 9:38Speaker 3: film scene where she's wearing Arab Muslim garb under the table,
- 9:42Speaker 3: it's that repressed religious women are the freakiest in the sheets.
- 9:47Speaker 7: Of course they have to be.
- 9:49Speaker 3: That's it.
- 9:49Speaker 7: And even though doesn't Maria Maria Khalifa, how do you
- 9:57Speaker 7: solve a problem like me A Khalif? How do you
- 10:01Speaker 7: catch her head and hold it down?
- 10:03Speaker 3: Only thirteen scenes, yet she's still the goal?
- 10:06Speaker 7: Hold what was longer Maria Khalifa's film career as an
- 10:12Speaker 7: adult actress or the Beatles entire catalog front to back,
- 10:15Speaker 7: because they might be the exact same amount of minutes,
- 10:18Speaker 7: they might line up entirely perfectly.
- 10:21Speaker 3: You can try, by the way, Yeah, you, by the way,
- 10:24Speaker 3: me A Khalifa, I'm sure I don't understand what's going
- 10:27Speaker 3: on with her.
- 10:28Speaker 7: I think she's just as real. She's like been the
- 10:30Speaker 7: only person to put the toruthpaste back in the tube,
- 10:34Speaker 7: and she has regressed to softcore porn, and I think
- 10:37Speaker 7: that she doesn't have to get dick in v anymore.
- 10:40Speaker 7: I think she can just maybe she's.
- 10:41Speaker 3: On OnlyFans, oh, I see.
- 10:44Speaker 7: I think she could just kind of like show her
- 10:46Speaker 7: boobs and get paid directly instead of what does she
- 10:50Speaker 7: make like one hundred dollars for her entire porno career?
- 10:54Speaker 3: Probably not much. I don't know.
- 10:55Speaker 7: I feel like there's like an economist article on it
- 10:59Speaker 7: or something.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Come a voice against porn.
- 11:03Speaker 7: Yeah, she went back to Arab as well. No, no,
- 11:07Speaker 7: she's born again Arab right, born again. They just sewed
- 11:10Speaker 7: her Hymen shut. We're having fun without SaaS well.
- 11:16Speaker 3: He doesn't know about these things.
- 11:18Speaker 7: He has no idea.
- 11:19Speaker 3: They don't have a a Hymen reproduction facility in Call
- 11:24Speaker 3: of Duty game maps. Yeah.
- 11:26Speaker 7: The closest thing to Hymen is his half Jewish side.
- 11:30Speaker 7: His grandfather was named Hymen, isn't it isn't Hymen Roth
- 11:35Speaker 7: one of the characters.
- 11:36Speaker 3: In the Godfather That sounds right.
- 11:38Speaker 7: He was like the guy in Miami that the one
- 11:42Speaker 7: that or.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Cuba or maybe Cuba and Godfather too, god.
- 11:45Speaker 7: Father too, Yeah, Hymen Roth, which is also.
- 11:48Speaker 3: I've only seen Godfather Too once.
- 11:50Speaker 7: Oh god, it's so fucking good, and it's also, uh,
- 11:55Speaker 7: you don't it's one of those you don't pick up everything.
- 11:58Speaker 3: It's the scenes of de Niro stalking the guy through
- 12:03Speaker 3: the streets of little Italy, I think in New York.
- 12:06Speaker 7: Yeah, and he's like climbing over it.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Stalking him. That I remember very vividly.
- 12:12Speaker 7: And his neighbors like, I have a gun. Take it
- 12:15Speaker 7: the gun. I just fucking killed someone.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Hey, I wanted to ask you something.
- 12:21Speaker 7: Talk to me brother. Uh.
- 12:23Speaker 3: It occurred to me to ask this question, why is
- 12:29Speaker 3: mutually consensual incest so maligned? Why is it so uh taboo?
- 12:39Speaker 7: I think it's because of the uh pro creative nastiness
- 12:44Speaker 7: that comes of it.
- 12:45Speaker 3: That's exactly right. And I did some research. Not for
- 12:49Speaker 3: my own sake. I know it's wrong. I'm not into it.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Everyone I'm related to is taken.
- 13:00Speaker 7: No von Trapp business. Until you have kids, everyone's taken.
- 13:04Speaker 3: I'm not. I'm not trying to wreck my own homes.
- 13:08Speaker 3: But but I think that the I think that the
- 13:15Speaker 3: the myth, I'm gonna call it a myth. I think
- 13:18Speaker 3: that the myth of incests being such a direct leader
- 13:22Speaker 3: to cognitive and developmental disorders is overblown. And I think
- 13:29Speaker 3: it was concocted by the deep State to dissuade people
- 13:34Speaker 3: from hooking up with theirs. Y, yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 7: Who they're smoking hot ass cousins. Yeah, I heard that
- 13:40Speaker 7: it raises infant mortality by.
- 13:42Speaker 3: One, so like that's a high number. Wow.
- 13:48Speaker 7: And then it lowers the IQ points of the baby
- 13:52Speaker 7: by ten to fifteen.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Just automatically.
- 13:55Speaker 7: Yeah, I think automatically. Also in the grand scheme of things,
- 13:59Speaker 7: your family smart enough, you guys could chunk off fifteen, right.
- 14:01Speaker 3: We could. We're right, we can. We have some afford,
- 14:05Speaker 3: we can afford to get pregnant with each other. But
- 14:09Speaker 3: here's my question, Like, here, here's the thing I think.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I read that. I read that, uh yes, with a
- 14:17Speaker 3: with a direct sibling, it's it's not great. But first cousins,
- 14:24Speaker 3: the risk is the same as anyone out there.
- 14:29Speaker 7: No, no, what I read.
- 14:32Speaker 3: I also read, show.
- 14:33Speaker 7: Me the pictures of these cousins you're talking about if.
- 14:35Speaker 3: You if you google, I said, they're already taken, you know,
- 14:40Speaker 3: ten years ago. I did. I did read a lot
- 14:45Speaker 3: when you google, why isn't so bad?
- 14:51Speaker 7: No?
- 14:52Speaker 3: Bro? All other responses are people on Reddit being like, yeah,
- 14:56Speaker 3: why is it so bad? And it's people that are
- 15:00Speaker 3: like really trying to convince themselves that it's okay.
- 15:04Speaker 7: Because the people who are googling that are already trying
- 15:07Speaker 7: to figure out like, yeah, they're looking for a loophole.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Are my herpies really going to turn me into a
- 15:13Speaker 3: social priet? No, everybody's got herpees, but people are.
- 15:20Speaker 7: If you're trying to get to the bottom of it,
- 15:23Speaker 7: like especially the wording that you had, why is it
- 15:26Speaker 7: so bad? Yeah that you know what I mean, They're
- 15:29Speaker 7: going to give you a generous answer.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I also think I googled is it true that incest
- 15:35Speaker 3: really increases the risk of developmental or disorders or something
- 15:41Speaker 3: like that.
- 15:41Speaker 7: I think you just get the Habsburg jaw. I think
- 15:44Speaker 7: that's the only thing that happens guaranteed to happen.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Remind me what that is.
- 15:47Speaker 7: That's like the lower.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Faces like, oh, like an overbite.
- 15:52Speaker 7: It's like a jolly dog. It's like a fat underbite.
- 15:56Speaker 7: I think I need to show you a picture just
- 15:58Speaker 7: so I feel like that's the only way to uh.
- 16:01Speaker 3: In The Halburgs were the family dynasty that was known
- 16:04Speaker 3: for inbreeding? Is that what something like? They? I believe
- 16:07Speaker 3: so they earned the name.
- 16:10Speaker 7: The Habsburg royal family in medieval Europe. It's this distinct
- 16:17Speaker 7: distinct jaw. So I think there's a couple of things
- 16:22Speaker 7: that happened.
- 16:22Speaker 3: I think people don't look great.
- 16:24Speaker 7: Halfsburg jaw happens. I also think that it weren't a
- 16:28Speaker 7: lot of the Russians, uh, Like the late eighteenth century
- 16:34Speaker 7: Russians were pretty inbred, and they had what's that disease
- 16:38Speaker 7: where you like, if you like get a small cut,
- 16:40Speaker 7: you can't your blood doesn't clot.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, that's right, you get it.
- 16:43Speaker 7: I think maybe you become more hemophiliacs.
- 16:46Speaker 3: There was a Russian sun in that whole dynasty of Tsars.
- 16:51Speaker 7: Who had that, yes exactly, and that he.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Was overseen by resputant. I believe, yes, right exactly, that Nicholas.
- 16:58Speaker 7: I think that. I think that sounds right.
- 17:00Speaker 3: It might have been sorry Nicholas or Peter Peter the
- 17:02Speaker 3: Great or something.
- 17:03Speaker 7: Well, getting into Anna Karnina territory, Yeah, which they tried
- 17:06Speaker 7: to help us with and make us into a Disney movie.
- 17:09Speaker 3: But which was what that was?
- 17:11Speaker 7: I think Anna Krinnana was a Disney movie?
- 17:13Speaker 3: And what was that called? Was that called?
- 17:15Speaker 7: I thought it was just Anna Karnina?
- 17:18Speaker 3: What was wasn't there one?
- 17:20Speaker 7: There was Anna Corinnina? Sounds like how like Snoop Dogg
- 17:22Speaker 7: would say it. Yeah yeah, yeah, yea yeah, Corinina.
- 17:27Speaker 3: You would turn that into something liking these intros that
- 17:30Speaker 3: you're giving to NBA players on their podcast.
- 17:33Speaker 7: The fun.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Does it take you a while?
- 17:35Speaker 7: Uh? Not as long as you'd think. I don't know
- 17:37Speaker 7: how long you think.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Actually, I would think of a little little bit of time.
- 17:41Speaker 7: I think it takes about twenty minutes.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Oh that's not bad. You do a nice job with it.
- 17:46Speaker 7: It comes, it comes pretty quickly. Takes longer if I
- 17:48Speaker 7: try to memorize it. I just gave up trying to
- 17:50Speaker 7: memorize it. But Anna Karnanana would would have been a
- 17:54Speaker 7: better would have been more memorable of a story if
- 17:58Speaker 7: they turned it into a musical, if they were a
- 18:01Speaker 7: Disney musical instead of just like a Disney feature film
- 18:04Speaker 7: like fucking fible Goes West or thee whatever the rats
- 18:09Speaker 7: were that went to fucking Australia or whatever. You know
- 18:12Speaker 7: what I'm talking about. I don't know that the rescuers
- 18:15Speaker 7: down under.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Oh yeah, those were great, but.
- 18:18Speaker 7: They didn't sing songs. And now we know every fucking
- 18:22Speaker 7: idea of Pocahonta's life we do because there was fucking
- 18:26Speaker 7: songs about it.
- 18:27Speaker 3: But weren't a lot of the facts from Pocahontas inaccurate.
- 18:32Speaker 7: I think that might be true. Did she wind up
- 18:35Speaker 7: married or she didn't marry.
- 18:36Speaker 3: He was already married, she was already married to some other,
- 18:40Speaker 3: to a Native American guy, potentially even a chief. Really, Yeah,
- 18:44Speaker 3: I don't think that that romance was real. I think
- 18:47Speaker 3: she facilitated communication and trade with him and with them,
- 18:53Speaker 3: But I don't know that there was this beautiful romance.
- 18:56Speaker 7: But I think she wound up getting married to someone
- 18:58Speaker 7: in the story, but not who thought it was not
- 19:01Speaker 7: Maybe not John Smith or some shit like that. Even
- 19:04Speaker 7: as a little boy, John Smith was pretty like hot
- 19:07Speaker 7: and devil make care, he sure was. He's like, oh God,
- 19:09Speaker 7: out of worse scrapes in this one.
- 19:11Speaker 3: And that's also, by the way, the type of name
- 19:13Speaker 3: that you would expect Pocahontas to tell her dad when
- 19:17Speaker 3: she wants to shield him from getting beaten up.
- 19:20Speaker 7: By her dad. John Smith.
- 19:22Speaker 3: What's his name? John Smith? He's John Smith.
- 19:27Speaker 7: Maybe it wasn't like a basic name.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Guy looks it up in the phone book. There's forty
- 19:31Speaker 3: five john Smith's here.
- 19:34Speaker 7: We're going to have to scalp all of them. You
- 19:37Speaker 7: forced my hand, Pocontis. There's nothing we can do. Now,
- 19:41Speaker 7: that's a good Indian. You do Indian, well, it'd be better.
- 19:45Speaker 7: My voice is like shit right now. But that Indian
- 19:48Speaker 7: was one of them.
- 19:49Speaker 3: And I don't think it's cultural appropriation because we took
- 19:52Speaker 3: all of their stuff.
- 19:54Speaker 7: Yeah, that's one of the It's almost a celebration.
- 19:57Speaker 3: H that's right. Want us to do that, bringing it
- 20:01Speaker 3: back even more.
- 20:02Speaker 7: They want us to do Red voice.
- 20:04Speaker 3: I read a book read Voice did. I read a
- 20:09Speaker 3: book that was actually pretty interesting about it was about
- 20:14Speaker 3: It was Michael Pollan's book about hallucinogens caffeine, something like
- 20:20Speaker 3: this is Your Mind on I think this is your
- 20:22Speaker 3: Mind on plants because I think he also wrote This
- 20:25Speaker 3: is Your Mind on Drugs or something. But he's a
- 20:27Speaker 3: pretty good author. And he had a big chapter about
- 20:30Speaker 3: the peote which comes from the cactus, and it was
- 20:36Speaker 3: the sacred medicine for the ritual that they, the Indians
- 20:40Speaker 3: would do, and then everyone got excited about trying it themselves,
- 20:46Speaker 3: which over farmed, you know, over plundered the paote plant,
- 20:51Speaker 3: and then it became harder for them to find it. Also,
- 20:54Speaker 3: they were the ones that went to the Supreme Court.
- 20:57Speaker 7: And said that it's a religious thing for us, and
- 21:00Speaker 7: you can't.
- 21:01Speaker 3: You need to let us smoke our peyote, and I
- 21:03Speaker 3: think maybe eat it. Fuck. I can't remember much of this,
- 21:06Speaker 3: but in the Supreme Court I think ruled in their
- 21:09Speaker 3: favorite as a protection of their religious rights.
- 21:12Speaker 7: That's badass.
- 21:12Speaker 3: It was cool.
- 21:13Speaker 7: Why were you reading this book? Was it because you
- 21:15Speaker 7: were interested in getting going down this rabbit hole yourself?
- 21:17Speaker 3: I heard him as a guest on Dax's Shepherd's podcast,
- 21:22Speaker 3: and I thought it was interesting. And then I read
- 21:26Speaker 3: the book and it was word for word everything that
- 21:29Speaker 3: he said on the podcast. Damn, the most redundant exercise
- 21:33Speaker 3: I've had in a long time.
- 21:34Speaker 7: That's so annoying.
- 21:35Speaker 3: It was tough.
- 21:36Speaker 7: Dude, will just regurgitate everything on the podcast.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess if it's a densely theoretical book, it's
- 21:45Speaker 3: very hard to say, Like, I'm not going to tell
- 21:47Speaker 3: you the answer to that question. Why don't you go
- 21:49Speaker 3: get the book?
- 21:50Speaker 7: Yeah? And Dax Shepherd gets gets listeners. He has ears.
- 21:54Speaker 7: You can't believe it.
- 21:55Speaker 3: You're not get He's huge, isn't he one of the biggest.
- 21:58Speaker 7: Yes, he's one of the big He's like top ten
- 22:00Speaker 7: across the board.
- 22:00Speaker 3: He's pretty cool, although he's always reminding people that he
- 22:04Speaker 3: doesn't drink, which you know, we get it, like somebody
- 22:07Speaker 3: we know.
- 22:09Speaker 7: I don't miss him. I don't miss him at all.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Good riddance, let's have a drink.
- 22:15Speaker 7: So did Dak Shepherd get his whole start on Punks?
- 22:17Speaker 3: I think that's right. But he was an actor. I
- 22:20Speaker 3: remember seeing him in like Up a Creek or Up
- 22:24Speaker 3: a Paddle or something like that. He was in a
- 22:27Speaker 3: movie with what was it, Idiocracy? Oh, people loved that.
- 22:31Speaker 3: I never saw that.
- 22:32Speaker 7: It's very good.
- 22:34Speaker 3: I remember seeing him in a movie with Seth Green
- 22:39Speaker 3: called up a Creek or up a Paddle or Lost
- 22:41Speaker 3: without a Paddle, Lost without a Paddle, Okay, And he
- 22:44Speaker 3: was doing smacking and stuff like that. And I think
- 22:46Speaker 3: he had done all other things.
- 22:47Speaker 7: He was a really good actor. On Punked, you trick
- 22:50Speaker 7: the hell out of people.
- 22:51Speaker 3: You forget that they needed to act in order to
- 22:53Speaker 3: do that show, Like perfectly, you would have been good
- 22:57Speaker 3: on that show. I could see you writing for that
- 22:59Speaker 3: show as well.
- 23:00Speaker 7: It'd be fun prank shows. It was like an it
- 23:03Speaker 7: was like an early prank show. Where it was before
- 23:06Speaker 7: it was completely saturated. Right now, prank shows are just
- 23:09Speaker 7: dudes like going to the hood and like trying to
- 23:11Speaker 7: like pants a fucking do with a gun on him
- 23:14Speaker 7: and just being like, it's a prank, it's a prank,
- 23:16Speaker 7: as they get shot to death in the middle of
- 23:18Speaker 7: the street.
- 23:18Speaker 3: I saw one of those recently and a guy sort
- 23:23Speaker 3: of reached out to touch another dude's girlfriend's ears on
- 23:27Speaker 3: it escalator.
- 23:28Speaker 7: And the guy starts beating the shit out of him
- 23:30Speaker 7: kind of.
- 23:30Speaker 3: But then that guy backs off so quickly.
- 23:33Speaker 7: Because he's like, it's a prank, dude, it's a prank.
- 23:35Speaker 7: It's a prank. He's like, I don't give a fuck
- 23:36Speaker 7: if it's a prank.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Yeah. Then because then the guy heard like trying to
- 23:40Speaker 3: get him away, was like oh sorry, He's like oh,
- 23:43Speaker 3: He's like, what difference does it make?
- 23:45Speaker 7: Oh, you just fucked my girlfriend in front of me, Like, oh,
- 23:47Speaker 7: it was a prank. I didn't realize.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Allow me to picture penis back and I can see
- 23:51Speaker 3: it's so hard and there's still some residue. It should
- 23:53Speaker 3: slide into no problem.
- 23:54Speaker 7: I'll just scrub your tip off there for you. Brother.
- 23:56Speaker 7: I'm so sorry about that. I didn't realize it was
- 23:58Speaker 7: a prank. Forget, that's so insane. I saw that exact
- 24:02Speaker 7: same clip and I was struck the same way. Yeah,
- 24:05Speaker 7: it doesn't fucking matter if it's a prank. You just
- 24:07Speaker 7: grab some girl's hand, you can't do it against their
- 24:09Speaker 7: will or whatever.
- 24:11Speaker 3: He was reaching for her face is what I remember.
- 24:13Speaker 7: Yea, yeah, yeah, he like touched her ear or something
- 24:15Speaker 7: like that.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Do you wonder if maybe that was staged?
- 24:20Speaker 7: No, they're not that good of actors. Hmm, I don't think.
- 24:24Speaker 3: I don't starting to lose faith in everything.
- 24:26Speaker 7: If Shepherd or Valderamo was there, was Valderama one of
- 24:29Speaker 7: the other ones. Wilmer Wasn't he one of the other actors? Unpunked?
- 24:33Speaker 3: Is it Wilmer?
- 24:34Speaker 7: It's gonna be villain with Aldonamo. He's German. He played
- 24:37Speaker 7: one of the He played the Nazi going on seventeen.
- 24:42Speaker 3: That was Fritz.
- 24:43Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, Fritz.
- 24:45Speaker 3: That song. If you listen to the lyrics of that song,
- 24:49Speaker 3: now he's like, I am seventeen going on eighteen, all
- 24:55Speaker 3: all take care hair of you, and then her response
- 24:59Speaker 3: is all depend on you. Yikes, I know nothing. I'm
- 25:04Speaker 3: a dumb little cunt. Please help me out in this world.
- 25:07Speaker 7: She literally says, I know that I'm naie naive.
- 25:11Speaker 3: It's like total lyon prepared are you to face the
- 25:15Speaker 3: world of men?
- 25:19Speaker 7: Take this drink, don't mind what I'm swirling in. You're like,
- 25:25Speaker 7: it is delicious, man.
- 25:27Speaker 3: But when when she does the duet of Adolweis with
- 25:29Speaker 3: her dad, that's pretty moving.
- 25:31Speaker 7: That's pretty nice, yes, exactly, and then calim Then John
- 25:37Speaker 7: Candy's like, I used to work at this joint in
- 25:39Speaker 7: the early sixties. I got a way out the back.
- 25:43Speaker 7: Does fucking uh does the Blues Brothers end the same way?
- 25:49Speaker 7: The Blues Brothers has the same ending as the sound
- 25:51Speaker 7: of music?
- 25:52Speaker 3: It does? It does?
- 25:53Speaker 7: It's literal like Nazis chasing after them as they sneak
- 25:57Speaker 7: out of the back of a fucking concert that they're throwing.
- 26:00Speaker 3: They can't start their car because two nuns have removed
- 26:02Speaker 3: the spark. Plus how they knew the parts necessary to
- 26:06Speaker 3: take out of the car, we'll never know.
- 26:08Speaker 7: Wait, does it also uh? Sister Act have that same ending?
- 26:11Speaker 7: The nuns are taking Nuns are like putting Nazis into
- 26:15Speaker 7: fucking closets or some ship like that so they can
- 26:18Speaker 7: all perform their final act.
- 26:19Speaker 3: You could argue that sister act is Blues Brothers meets
- 26:24Speaker 3: the Sound of Music. Yeah, which, by the way, that
- 26:27Speaker 3: exercise Goldberg.
- 26:29Speaker 7: Imagine how pissed the Nazis would be at her fucking Goldoby.
- 26:35Speaker 7: Whoopee again, we're looking for Whoopy Goldberg. Check onto the floors.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Off, that's an edge.
- 26:45Speaker 7: We're going to shoot.
- 26:52Speaker 3: It's crazy. How much funny are the pot is without task?
- 26:54Speaker 7: I know, I really think?
- 26:57Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 26:59Speaker 7: What other what other musical said you listen to on
- 27:02Speaker 7: your drive down?
- 27:03Speaker 3: Well?
- 27:03Speaker 7: Which Disney ones that you said you listened to some
- 27:05Speaker 7: Disney ones?
- 27:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I listened to We listened to Beauty and the
- 27:11Speaker 3: Beast ooh, which is one of my favorites. There's that
- 27:15Speaker 3: great song. It's so good, the Mob song with Gaston.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Gaston is the best villain in all the Disney movies
- 27:25Speaker 3: in my opinion.
- 27:27Speaker 7: Yes, because well he was like they were ahead of
- 27:31Speaker 7: their time, just hating on like the burly white Man
- 27:35Speaker 7: forgetting too much pussy. Yeah right now. That guy couldn't
- 27:38Speaker 7: even get cast on like Survivor.
- 27:40Speaker 3: It was like, you know what I mean, he's too
- 27:43Speaker 3: he's too much the bad guy, the guy you root against.
- 27:46Speaker 3: But Gaston Also, interestingly, is I think the only Disney
- 27:52Speaker 3: lead who is a bass as a singer. Oh there,
- 27:57Speaker 3: all the rest are all those tenors, so I can
- 28:00Speaker 3: sing along as I can't sing the high parts.
- 28:02Speaker 7: Oh really wait, so what was his? What's there? Because
- 28:05Speaker 7: I'm confusing it with the Pocahontas song where they're like savages,
- 28:09Speaker 7: savages barely even human and that's like a fucking Torches song.
- 28:14Speaker 8: What's the one in Pocahontas? Through through the woods, darkness
- 28:18Speaker 8: and the shadows. It's a nightmare, but it's one exciting ride.
- 28:21Speaker 8: They say a prayer than with there at the drobberty
- 28:24Speaker 8: of a castle and there's something truly terrible inside.
- 28:27Speaker 7: Yes, that one I would end. Honestly, I kind of
- 28:31Speaker 7: get why the townspeople were so fucking pissed off. Yeah,
- 28:35Speaker 7: that there's like a teacup and a fucking candlestick having
- 28:39Speaker 7: a back and all just having an orgy with a
- 28:42Speaker 7: cabinet in a fucking castle or whatever. That's an abomination,
- 28:47Speaker 7: that's ungodly. If you're in a small French town, they
- 28:49Speaker 7: don't even have the fucking Internet, and like you just
- 28:52Speaker 7: have like a fucking bookstore and a.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Crapery there's no ice. You're telling me there's no ice
- 28:58Speaker 3: within fifty miles in it. You have a fucking dresser
- 29:01Speaker 3: that will come out and.
- 29:02Speaker 7: It doesn't make any sense to me, and that they're
- 29:05Speaker 7: all just having sex in front of chip the small cup,
- 29:08Speaker 7: the tiny the poor little fucking tea cup.
- 29:10Speaker 3: They were doing some hanky panky in this.
- 29:12Speaker 7: There was there definitely was or well, you know, the
- 29:15Speaker 7: two hornies were the candlestick and the feather duster. The
- 29:18Speaker 7: feather duster was clearly a prostitute.
- 29:22Speaker 3: I don't remember what it whirled into once the spell
- 29:26Speaker 3: was lifted.
- 29:27Speaker 7: The lumiere is the French pervert. Yeah, the feather duster
- 29:31Speaker 7: is like and he's always just like dipping her in
- 29:34Speaker 7: like peppy lapu, kissing her.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Like yeah yeah, yeah, you're right, you're right, you're right,
- 29:38Speaker 3: and she goes uh. He's like invaders.
- 29:47Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, that was a good way to learn some French.
- 29:51Speaker 7: But I don't feel I mean, I just get why
- 29:55Speaker 7: I guessed on what didn't want his beloved Yeah, to
- 30:00Speaker 7: be trying to protect by a literal animal. No, he's
- 30:04Speaker 7: literally protecting against bet reality. How is he supposed to
- 30:08Speaker 7: know that there's a spell with a fucking Rose Rose
- 30:12Speaker 7: petals falling.
- 30:13Speaker 3: I don't think they did know. I don't think they knew.
- 30:15Speaker 3: And isn't it Belle's father who warns them all?
- 30:21Speaker 7: Yeah, the dude who's on like the U, doesn't he
- 30:23Speaker 7: he's like an inventor, isn't he?
- 30:25Speaker 3: He is? And he pretty damn good one too well.
- 30:29Speaker 7: He's severely autistic.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Yeah, back then, I don't think you know, they.
- 30:33Speaker 7: Didn't have the classification. I mean, Bell was too possible
- 30:39Speaker 7: just reading the same book over and over again, I
- 30:45Speaker 7: could she doesn't discover that it's him to chapter three.
- 30:52Speaker 7: Fucking this bitch knows the book front and back.
- 30:57Speaker 3: There's another part he says. He says, so it's time
- 31:00Speaker 3: to take some action. Boys, it's time to follow me.
- 31:06Speaker 3: And then he galvanizes the whole town.
- 31:08Speaker 7: That's a leader, Yes, that's in front of the pack dog. Yeah,
- 31:12Speaker 7: he doesn't sweat the small stuff.
- 31:14Speaker 3: He also, I mean, he's the most like David Goggins
- 31:18Speaker 3: character in all of Disney. What I was a lad.
- 31:21Speaker 3: I ate four dozen eggs every morning. Helped me get large.
- 31:25Speaker 7: I carried the boats.
- 31:29Speaker 3: He shoots birds out of the air. He's a down
- 31:32Speaker 3: the line Rogan guest.
- 31:35Speaker 7: And he's out. He's like Steve Ranella. Yeah, he's just
- 31:38Speaker 7: as like an alpha hunch for himself as like fucking
- 31:42Speaker 7: good forms.
- 31:43Speaker 3: I could see Rogan being like, look, I understand that
- 31:45Speaker 3: a lot of what he says and does is a
- 31:47Speaker 3: little non traditional, but he does make some good points.
- 31:52Speaker 7: When I was a boy, I took zero vaccines? What what?
- 32:04Speaker 7: And were there any others or was it just those ones?
- 32:07Speaker 3: The Laddin was great? Yes, a bunch of Aladdin.
- 32:12Speaker 7: Aladdin's incredible.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Laden's really good. There's why up, that's it's it's Everything
- 32:19Speaker 3: Robin Williams does in that movie is gone. My favorite
- 32:25Speaker 3: part is when he's when they conjured the whole parade
- 32:29Speaker 3: to introduce Prince Aly to Jasmine.
- 32:32Speaker 7: Yes, and uh.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Robin Williams is playing fifty different characters in that movie
- 32:39Speaker 3: in that scene, and at one point, the chorus goes,
- 32:43Speaker 3: he's got seven G five golden camels, and Robin Williams goes,
- 32:48Speaker 3: don't they look lovely? Ji a peacocks, He's got fifty
- 32:53Speaker 3: three fabulous Harry, I love it.
- 32:54Speaker 7: Others he's doing his bird cage character. Yes, I wonder
- 32:57Speaker 7: which came out the bird cage or which came out
- 33:00Speaker 7: first Aladdin or The Bird Cage.
- 33:02Speaker 3: I would imagine La Cajo Fall of the Bird Cage
- 33:05Speaker 3: because that was eighties I think, and Aladdin was probably
- 33:09Speaker 3: in the nineties.
- 33:11Speaker 7: Oh and you mind mind checking which came out first.
- 33:14Speaker 3: We need to get these facts straight.
- 33:15Speaker 7: There's a lot of this is important because, like, dude,
- 33:17Speaker 7: they watch The Bird Cage and be like, oh my god,
- 33:20Speaker 7: he's our genie.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Let's recreate these characters.
- 33:23Speaker 7: Yeah, Walks, I just got your genie.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Oh god, I was way off. Mine was before that.
- 33:31Speaker 7: Laden was first, so they saw him in his campy
- 33:34Speaker 7: gay character. That's amazing, and then they fucking put him
- 33:37Speaker 7: in there.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Did you watch the Ron Williams document documentary The Story
- 33:41Speaker 3: the biography biopic thing, not a biopic, it was a documentary.
- 33:44Speaker 7: I'm not sure. I don't know if I watched. I
- 33:47Speaker 7: know I watched Bourdaines. I don't know if I watched Williams.
- 33:50Speaker 3: This was on HBO.
- 33:52Speaker 7: Was it fantastic, Yeah, it's fantastic.
- 33:54Speaker 3: It's very sad, but he was just like a generational talent.
- 34:01Speaker 3: They didn't like would say that he stole jokes.
- 34:03Speaker 7: Yeah, that's literally what I was about to get into.
- 34:06Speaker 7: Or someone punched him at like the fucking Comedy Store
- 34:08Speaker 7: or something like that for stealing jokes.
- 34:10Speaker 3: I think you're thinking of Rogan Mencilla, right, because that happened.
- 34:16Speaker 3: They didn't punch it.
- 34:17Speaker 7: I don't know. I don't know if they punched, but
- 34:18Speaker 7: I'm pretty sure Robin Williams, I think there's like a
- 34:21Speaker 7: famous old comic punched him. Yeah, but it was pretty magical.
- 34:24Speaker 7: I mean I remember I got like, I got three
- 34:28Speaker 7: stand up albums when I was like maybe ten years old.
- 34:31Speaker 7: I got that Robin Williams one maybe like it's like
- 34:34Speaker 7: Live in New York or something like that.
- 34:36Speaker 3: That's probably one of the.
- 34:37Speaker 7: Met that the met. I got Seinfeld, Yeah, I have
- 34:43Speaker 7: Classic Seinfeld and then uh Steve Martin, Let's get Small.
- 34:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I have that one too.
- 34:48Speaker 7: Those are all those, yes, Like those are ones you
- 34:52Speaker 7: listened to over and over again and fucking memorize them,
- 34:55Speaker 7: and three very different comedy styles.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Very true.
- 34:59Speaker 7: Yeah, Like I didn't even know what the fuck Robin
- 35:02Speaker 7: Williams was talking about. But it's like the Genie character
- 35:05Speaker 7: where she's just like bouncing around. He's like and and
- 35:07Speaker 7: Paparatti's at the improv in the back, going like oh
- 35:12Speaker 7: and there on the boat. They're like, hey, let's have
- 35:13Speaker 7: an under my tie, and it's just like, what the
- 35:15Speaker 7: fuck are you saying?
- 35:16Speaker 3: Bro, I couldn't follow it. I can't follow it either.
- 35:20Speaker 3: But and it was never his stand up that really
- 35:23Speaker 3: blew me away. It was but I loved that he
- 35:26Speaker 3: did it. They say that that show at the met
- 35:29Speaker 3: he'd been touring for a while, that that night where
- 35:32Speaker 3: he recorded that special, thirty percent of the material had
- 35:38Speaker 3: never been said before.
- 35:39Speaker 7: That's so insane, Yeah, because it just spouted out.
- 35:42Speaker 2: It.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Matt Rife before Matt Rife.
- 35:44Speaker 7: Yeah, you know originals, the original Matt. He was the
- 35:47Speaker 7: original crowd worker. Yeah, and yes, what's your name? Yes,
- 35:51Speaker 7: he was fucking incredible. Steve Martin. I even remember at
- 35:54Speaker 7: the time Steve Martin was less my cup of tea
- 35:56Speaker 7: than the other two.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Well, Steve Martin was so good feet And that was
- 36:01Speaker 3: again that that would have been well before I think
- 36:05Speaker 3: Robin Williams and Seinfeld.
- 36:06Speaker 7: It was I think it was called Let's get small
- 36:08Speaker 7: or something, and it was about that's what getting used
- 36:11Speaker 7: to call getting high, used to be getting small. He
- 36:13Speaker 7: was talking about like getting small and climbing into.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Vacuum or something like that.
- 36:17Speaker 7: Yeah, crawling into the front of a vacuum or something.
- 36:20Speaker 7: I love that, which I guess is funny. But I
- 36:22Speaker 7: think I listened to the Seinfeld and Robin Williams much
- 36:26Speaker 7: more frequently.
- 36:28Speaker 3: The Seinfeld had the McDonald's bit and why are they
- 36:31Speaker 3: still counting forty billion? Eighty billion? Man? Okay, I'll have
- 36:37Speaker 3: a hamber.
- 36:38Speaker 7: And then yeah, or the airplane the first class, and
- 36:44Speaker 7: I remember him talking. He was like, yeah, going into
- 36:47Speaker 7: first class, and they give you a look like if
- 36:48Speaker 7: you work a little harder, you'd be able to sit
- 36:50Speaker 7: up here. As if it wasn't like nineteen ninety eight
- 36:53Speaker 7: and he wasn't a literal billionaire. I found out later
- 36:57Speaker 7: on on like The Fabulous Life of Jerry Sineld that
- 37:00Speaker 7: he literally had heavy on water come through his shower.
- 37:06Speaker 9: Really Fabulous Life of Jerry Seinfeld. Jerry Seinfeld is so
- 37:15Speaker 9: rich that his apartment can fit fifteen billion Cadbury eggs.
- 37:20Speaker 3: But that.
- 37:23Speaker 7: And that's not all.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Didn't that album come out before the show? Why did
- 37:31Speaker 3: I think that that album preceded the show? I could
- 37:33Speaker 3: be totally wrong. The show. He made the show, and
- 37:36Speaker 3: I think when he was in his late twenties or something,
- 37:38Speaker 3: like that.
- 37:39Speaker 7: That makes sense, or he made the show from like
- 37:41Speaker 7: ninety two to ninety eight or some shit like that. Yeah,
- 37:44Speaker 7: I could have like May totally ninety nine or something
- 37:47Speaker 7: like ten years.
- 37:48Speaker 3: We used to listen to that Seinfeld album in the
- 37:50Speaker 3: car on car drives with the family. You sing along, Well,
- 37:53Speaker 3: we we just listened to it over and over, and
- 37:56Speaker 3: we used to drive everywhere. Yeah, we would just go.
- 38:01Speaker 3: We would drive to Florida from Maine.
- 38:03Speaker 7: We used to drive a lot too. Why why was that?
- 38:05Speaker 3: Why?
- 38:05Speaker 7: Why do we all used to drive so damn much more?
- 38:07Speaker 7: Is it because kids are harder? Or is it because
- 38:10Speaker 7: air travel was worse? There's fewer flights.
- 38:14Speaker 3: I think, yeah, I think marshaling your family in the
- 38:18Speaker 3: car was easier than getting everyone to the air.
- 38:21Speaker 7: But there was no fucking iPads. There's no back seat rest. Shit,
- 38:26Speaker 7: you had to rewind a cassette tape for half the ride.
- 38:29Speaker 3: We'd listen to eb White, Charlotte's Web, The Trumpet of
- 38:33Speaker 3: the Swan, the Cherries. My parents would endure young young
- 38:39Speaker 3: adult novels while we as a family listened to them
- 38:42Speaker 3: over and over.
- 38:43Speaker 7: That's insane.
- 38:45Speaker 3: And then we transitioned to you know, listening to Lance
- 38:48Speaker 3: Armstrong's It's Not About the Bike or you know John
- 38:52Speaker 3: Crack Hours Into Thin Air.
- 38:55Speaker 7: I think I got a CD of it was called
- 38:57Speaker 7: and the Crowd Goes wild.
- 38:58Speaker 3: I had that and it was like the Great sports calls.
- 39:01Speaker 7: They had great sports calls.
- 39:02Speaker 3: It was a book and the CD came in the
- 39:04Speaker 3: back of the book.
- 39:04Speaker 7: Yeah, Like, try to make my sister listen to that,
- 39:07Speaker 7: and like, no, I want to listen to Britney Spears.
- 39:12Speaker 7: But I never let her listen to Britney Spears. And
- 39:15Speaker 7: she never grew up to be a slut.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Damn. That's good to know.
- 39:20Speaker 7: She avoided being a slut entirely because we were putting
- 39:23Speaker 7: on fucking Kirk Gibson's home run calls. And then look
- 39:27Speaker 7: at all these these other sluts who never fucking got
- 39:29Speaker 7: to hear Mike Ruzioni's fucking nineteen eighty fucking down. Yeah,
- 39:37Speaker 7: and she was exciting. She was super exciting.
- 39:41Speaker 3: What uh, what's been going on in your life?
- 39:44Speaker 7: Dude? I was. I went to so I finally went
- 39:46Speaker 7: to Laser Wolf last night.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Oh I've heard good things? Was that sushi?
- 39:51Speaker 7: It's uh it is ISRAELI Oh, I'm way off. It
- 39:57Speaker 7: was fucking incredible though. But then I was I was,
- 40:01Speaker 7: I was going out, I was driving home and I
- 40:03Speaker 7: it was like rainy last night in Brooklyn. There's crazy
- 40:07Speaker 7: rain storms, but that made for a beautiful sunset driving home.
- 40:10Speaker 3: And see the double rainbow double there was a double.
- 40:13Speaker 7: No way, I'll really, I didn't realize that I only
- 40:18Speaker 7: saw a single on Uh, I only saw a single
- 40:22Speaker 7: on Marty and Rio's Instagram stories. Oh really, which is
- 40:25Speaker 7: where I get most of my rainbow news. Oh gosh,
- 40:28Speaker 7: that in the Olympics. Yeah, yeah, yeah, But I was
- 40:33Speaker 7: driving past.
- 40:34Speaker 3: I said to Marty really quick, go ahead, I go, dude,
- 40:36Speaker 3: are you guys in London? Like every weekend? Because there
- 40:42Speaker 3: was just a string of posts that I saw where
- 40:44Speaker 3: I think it was they were, but they were in London,
- 40:48Speaker 3: and I saw his posts from London and hers, and
- 40:50Speaker 3: then it was his birthday shortly thereafter, and the first
- 40:54Speaker 3: post from that was a post of them from London.
- 40:58Speaker 3: But I didn't read all that context, so I just
- 41:00Speaker 3: thought they had gone back to London, moved to London.
- 41:03Speaker 7: It's crazy the air travel, because when we were growing up,
- 41:05Speaker 7: we used to have to drive to London and we
- 41:07Speaker 7: would fucking be driving underwater listening to fucking a cassette
- 41:14Speaker 7: of the Little Mermaid. Let us see it's like, oh yeah, exactly,
- 41:21Speaker 7: that's where we are.
- 41:22Speaker 10: Golf season is in full swing and getting out there
- 41:24Speaker 10: to work on your game is bound to make any
- 41:27Speaker 10: day even better. And if you're looking to improve your drive,
- 41:30Speaker 10: Chevy Equinox EV is the smartest choice you can make.
- 41:34Speaker 10: Bold athletic styling, a commanding presence, award winning tech, an
- 41:39Speaker 10: impressive range, all with an affordable MSRP. Chevy Equinox EV
- 41:44Speaker 10: will put a smile on your face no matter how
- 41:46Speaker 10: your scorecard shakes out.
- 41:49Speaker 7: What's going on there, pal, We saw you in the
- 41:51Speaker 7: hockey game Mark, So I know you guys. I'm Ryan Whitney.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I got a drink named after me. Think Whitney, That's
- 41:57Speaker 3: what I thought.
- 41:58Speaker 7: See it fellas I invent did the thing you pigeoned
- 42:01Speaker 7: Pink Whitney for legendary moments. I overheard something I'm trying
- 42:05Speaker 7: to remember the name over a guy. This this is.
- 42:09Speaker 7: I had to I had to record it because a
- 42:12Speaker 7: guy was like, I just overheard of just like one
- 42:15Speaker 7: slice of a conversation and I'll just hear a slice
- 42:17Speaker 7: of the conversation and I'll be like, what has led
- 42:19Speaker 7: up to their lives at this point? And it was
- 42:22Speaker 7: a guy being like to somebody else on walking down
- 42:25Speaker 7: the street in Williamsburg and he was like, Yeah, her
- 42:29Speaker 7: name is Viola Chinico. It's like the hottest name that's
- 42:33Speaker 7: ever existed. And I was like, what the fuck are
- 42:36Speaker 7: you talking about? That name sucks, dick, Viola fim.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Chinico sounds like a female bodybuiller.
- 42:43Speaker 7: Yeah, it's preposterous. It sounds like Pinocchio's creator.
- 42:46Speaker 3: A woman who meddles at the CrossFit game.
- 42:48Speaker 7: Viola Chico. That ain't a hot name. No, you're fucking
- 42:52Speaker 7: blinded by the light, dude, Chinico.
- 42:55Speaker 3: Hell no, dude, that woman has moles on her back,
- 43:00Speaker 3: the long.
- 43:00Speaker 7: Hair coming out of her rickage. Viola Chinnico. She needs
- 43:05Speaker 7: some heavy on in her shower because the water in
- 43:08Speaker 7: New York is so hard that it's making her skin
- 43:09Speaker 7: break out. Dude, Viola f Chinico. It pissed me off
- 43:13Speaker 7: on the car ride that this guy, this stranger in
- 43:16Speaker 7: this two second Slice of Life conversation, was fucking waxing
- 43:19Speaker 7: poetic about how hot Viola Chinico's name was. Maybe, I mean,
- 43:23Speaker 7: maybe we're doxing her and maybe she's fucking hot in
- 43:26Speaker 7: real life. But that ain't a hot name.
- 43:28Speaker 3: Dude, No, no it's not.
- 43:30Speaker 9: And uh viola fico viola viola hot either, dude.
- 43:37Speaker 7: That's the least hottest string instrument to.
- 43:39Speaker 3: Be named after. It is not good. What is the
- 43:44Speaker 3: difference between a viola and a violin?
- 43:46Speaker 7: I think one is big?
- 43:48Speaker 3: Is that right? Violins are big?
- 43:50Speaker 7: I thought a viola was like a big.
- 43:52Speaker 3: As viola is bigger, small, bigger than a violin.
- 43:56Speaker 7: Yeah that sounds right, Yeah it could be. But cello
- 44:00Speaker 7: a nicer name.
- 44:00Speaker 3: We're just throwing a lot of stuff out there we're
- 44:02Speaker 3: not certain of. But that's okay, it's fine, that's that's normal.
- 44:06Speaker 7: I went on Billy's podcast.
- 44:07Speaker 8: That's all we did, well, okay.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Is the one that the Bears would have chosen?
- 44:16Speaker 7: The middle bear?
- 44:16Speaker 3: The middle Bear is just right.
- 44:18Speaker 7: Yeah, they would have loved the Three Little Bears would
- 44:21Speaker 7: have loved violas chinico.
- 44:24Speaker 3: I think I think the cello is the instrument that
- 44:27Speaker 3: you can most make love to.
- 44:30Speaker 7: It is sexually as hell.
- 44:33Speaker 3: I just mean as I meant metaphorically. I guess if
- 44:35Speaker 3: you're actually talking about the instrument that it is most
- 44:38Speaker 3: receptive to intercourse trumpet or something.
- 44:43Speaker 7: Are you saying it's shapely like the.
- 44:47Speaker 3: I think that playing the cello you can really pour
- 44:51Speaker 3: your soul into it. You can. If it's very evocative,
- 44:55Speaker 3: you can you can tell people how you're feeling based
- 44:58Speaker 3: on how you play the cello.
- 44:59Speaker 7: When I went to the Philharmonic, it was almost a
- 45:04Speaker 7: competition amongst the string section to who could be more
- 45:09Speaker 7: into it, who could swoon the most and represent their
- 45:13Speaker 7: fucking musical And it was like Asian music, so it
- 45:23Speaker 7: was like kind of vibe. It was very But dude,
- 45:29Speaker 7: I do just do that. Sometimes I'll overhear someone saying
- 45:32Speaker 7: something and the sentence will be so preposterous that I
- 45:36Speaker 7: have to record it in my phone, like one of
- 45:38Speaker 7: the other very recent ones that I have in my
- 45:40Speaker 7: notes app. I went to a restaurant called Ingas, which incredible.
- 45:46Speaker 7: As we were leaving Ingas, overheard two gay dudes talking
- 45:50Speaker 7: to each other walking down the street and they said,
- 45:54Speaker 7: whoever designed that bathroom needs their ass eaten. The candle
- 46:02Speaker 7: smelled incredible. Whoever designed the bathroom needs their ass eaten.
- 46:10Speaker 7: The candle smelled incredible. It's such a preposterous sentence to
- 46:16Speaker 7: overhear in fucking New York, they need their ass eating.
- 46:20Speaker 7: That's such a fucking that's such a high praise fucking
- 46:27Speaker 7: of I guess sexuality, and it tells you so much
- 46:31Speaker 7: about the person. It's like the greatest act of love. Yeah,
- 46:35Speaker 7: that they could like a grandmother cooking a fucking delicious,
- 46:39Speaker 7: hearty dinner. That's their act of love. This gay bird
- 46:43Speaker 7: walking down the street in fucking Brooklyn Heights. Their greatest
- 46:48Speaker 7: show of love is eating someone's ass. Because the decor
- 46:51Speaker 7: was so good, it was a preposterous sentence has just
- 46:55Speaker 7: lived in the fucking corner of my brain like viola
- 46:58Speaker 7: fim chinico. I just can't fucking escape that shit. It's
- 47:03Speaker 7: truly so you ask, what's been going on with me? Yeah, Yeah,
- 47:06Speaker 7: that's what's been going on with me. I just been
- 47:09Speaker 7: listening to two second snippets of strangers conversations and extrapolating
- 47:13Speaker 7: a life story that keeps me up at night.
- 47:17Speaker 3: This is what we this is where we build from though.
- 47:20Speaker 3: These are the kernels that grow into beautiful fields of
- 47:24Speaker 3: corn fields of corn, speaking of which I was driving
- 47:28Speaker 3: by some cornfields.
- 47:30Speaker 7: Oh yeah, upstate, Yeah, New York.
- 47:32Speaker 3: Corn Ever, since uh Interstellar came out. Yes, I have
- 47:38Speaker 3: had the strong desire to turn off the road and
- 47:43Speaker 3: drive through a field of corn, just mowing it down.
- 47:46Speaker 7: Is there any downside? A scarecrow?
- 47:50Speaker 3: Perhaps? What a farmer is going to run onto his
- 47:53Speaker 3: porch with a twelve gauge and somehow hit me in
- 47:55Speaker 3: a Tesla Model three? Not a chance. That said, I
- 48:00Speaker 3: don't think the Tesla is very low to the ground
- 48:03Speaker 3: and there's very little suspension you feel just about every
- 48:05Speaker 3: bump in the road. I don't know how level cornfields are.
- 48:10Speaker 7: They had to be very level, you think, because if
- 48:13Speaker 7: a tractor goes over them, don't they have to be
- 48:18Speaker 7: able to evenly till a.
- 48:19Speaker 3: Few I think you're right about that, But also you'd
- 48:23Speaker 3: also think that each stalk of corn is the same height,
- 48:27Speaker 3: for if some grew higher, they would then shade the rest,
- 48:32Speaker 3: which makes me think that they're all it's planted on
- 48:35Speaker 3: levelish ground.
- 48:36Speaker 7: I think it has to be pretty level. I think
- 48:38Speaker 7: that one of the things you have to worry about
- 48:41Speaker 7: is migrants. But at the same time, Tesla has enough
- 48:45Speaker 7: technology where it will it will probably stop itself where
- 48:48Speaker 7: it about to.
- 48:49Speaker 3: Mow a mind right, I'd get that beeping noise that
- 48:51Speaker 3: I sometimes hear when I'm about to hit a child. Yes,
- 48:55Speaker 3: and that's because children and migrants are the same height.
- 48:58Speaker 7: Now, the Tesla trucks are I think, built to mow
- 49:02Speaker 7: down migrants.
- 49:03Speaker 3: They are. They are with as little damage to you
- 49:06Speaker 3: as possible.
- 49:08Speaker 7: Right, Oh, yeah, you would be safe.
- 49:09Speaker 3: So as soon as you it. Actually, it's a new
- 49:11Speaker 3: feature I've heard with the cyber truck is that when
- 49:13Speaker 3: you hit a migrant, it actually automatically prints the illegal
- 49:17Speaker 3: papers that show that that person.
- 49:20Speaker 7: Is not They tested it in the Rio is Here.
- 49:23Speaker 3: On unexpired visa.
- 49:25Speaker 7: They would go sub terranean in the Rio Grand and
- 49:27Speaker 7: just print out.
- 49:28Speaker 3: Fucking instead of calling on Star calls.
- 49:30Speaker 7: Ice, don't worry about this one. This one off your hands.
- 49:42Speaker 7: Truly hilarious. I saw a video yesterday saying, so the
- 49:47Speaker 7: front of the cyber truck is a trunk A fronk?
- 49:50Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 49:51Speaker 7: Is it a fronk? I would think so, Bless you Jesus.
- 49:59Speaker 3: It Uh, I have a frunk on my Tesla.
- 50:03Speaker 7: Yeah, I wonder if all Tesla's have frunks. But a
- 50:05Speaker 7: woman was like a woman was doing a video and
- 50:08Speaker 7: she was basically like, but Tesla's frunk can take off
- 50:11Speaker 7: your finger, and she put a carrot in the side
- 50:15Speaker 7: of the fronk, closed it and the carrot just snapped off,
- 50:19Speaker 7: which troubling.
- 50:21Speaker 3: It's not great troubling. I've been seeing this, the cyber
- 50:24Speaker 3: truck everywhere. I've been seeing it as a promotional tool
- 50:28Speaker 3: for a lot of businesses. Yes, it seems that so
- 50:31Speaker 3: many businesses, as some kind of a joke or ironic twist,
- 50:36Speaker 3: went out purchased them and then slapped a bunch of
- 50:38Speaker 3: decals on them and painted them in different colors.
- 50:41Speaker 7: And like the type of person who buys it is
- 50:43Speaker 7: so obvious that whatever business is advertising, it's almost like
- 50:48Speaker 7: anti advertisement. If you're advertising on a cyber truck, there
- 50:52Speaker 7: is zero point zero percent chance that I will patronize
- 50:56Speaker 7: your business. Right The type of person these like a
- 50:58Speaker 7: mid level marketer, pyramid schemer, like putting a fucking bumblebee,
- 51:04Speaker 7: or like cheatah rap on a fucking cyber truck acting
- 51:07Speaker 7: like I'm gonna come to your fucking business because of
- 51:09Speaker 7: that zero point zero percent chance.
- 51:12Speaker 3: Reminds me of the ads I used to see on
- 51:15Speaker 3: when I would watch WWF before it was WWE.
- 51:18Speaker 7: When you used to watch the World Wildlife Foundation.
- 51:21Speaker 3: That's right. Which, by the way, how on earth did
- 51:24Speaker 3: they win that copyright suit? Yeah, that trademark battle.
- 51:30Speaker 7: They should have settled it in the fucking ring like
- 51:32Speaker 7: pandas against Triple.
- 51:34Speaker 3: H is beat out, Yeah, Stone Cold that's crazy and
- 51:38Speaker 3: Vince McMahon. But uh, the ads were always for I
- 51:42Speaker 3: remember very well. It was Stacker two, which is a
- 51:46Speaker 3: fat burning supplement.
- 51:47Speaker 7: Oh yeah, and then Lugs the boots.
- 51:51Speaker 3: They were like, you have boots.
- 51:52Speaker 7: And twelve dollars boots.
- 51:53Speaker 3: That were preceded Ugs. Yes, but we're much the same name.
- 51:59Speaker 7: Those were in battle Rap A big dispoint. Those aren't tims,
- 52:05Speaker 7: those are lugs. People will be No, they're not. Fuck
- 52:10Speaker 7: you who lugs a terrible a terrible boot.
- 52:14Speaker 3: I've been watching your battle Rap clips.
- 52:16Speaker 7: I trying to put them online because it's free engagement.
- 52:18Speaker 3: It's so good.
- 52:19Speaker 7: And there's also like hundreds of hours of them online
- 52:23Speaker 7: that I just have never put up anywhere.
- 52:25Speaker 3: That's insane.
- 52:26Speaker 7: I need to I need to continue to dump that
- 52:28Speaker 7: shit out.
- 52:29Speaker 3: I like the one about the guy who smoked a lot.
- 52:33Speaker 7: And that was I met that guy the summer before
- 52:35Speaker 7: and he truly was like he's a Filipino man, and
- 52:39Speaker 7: he flew over. They flew these guys over from the Philippines,
- 52:41Speaker 7: like three or four battle rappers, and the summer before
- 52:44Speaker 7: he was literally like curled up on a window sill
- 52:47Speaker 7: in a fucking Toronto hotel like chain smoking, about twenty
- 52:51Speaker 7: five battle rappers in the room, just like Chug Bears.
- 52:54Speaker 7: He was just like kind of silently like a mirror
- 52:56Speaker 7: cat in the window, smoking smoking stick. So I found
- 52:59Speaker 7: one small fact about him and just extrapolated it into
- 53:02Speaker 7: it's great. Wow, that's a double extrapolation on this podcast. Rare,
- 53:08Speaker 7: very rare.
- 53:09Speaker 3: What what year was that?
- 53:11Speaker 7: That was probably twenty I was thin at that time.
- 53:14Speaker 7: I was depressed at that time. I think I weigh
- 53:16Speaker 7: one hundred and forty seven pounds what at that time?
- 53:19Speaker 3: Really?
- 53:20Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 53:21Speaker 3: Why you truly were down?
- 53:24Speaker 7: Yeah? Or I was just like what am I doing with?
- 53:28Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 53:29Speaker 7: I was like, what the fuck am I doing? I'm
- 53:32Speaker 7: so poor, I have no fucking I'm just like doing
- 53:36Speaker 7: a couple battle raps a year and just doing a
- 53:39Speaker 7: thing that a lot of young artists do that trying
- 53:42Speaker 7: to convince myself and other people that I'm actually making moves.
- 53:47Speaker 7: At the end of the year making a social media
- 53:49Speaker 7: post like listing what I did during the year to
- 53:52Speaker 7: try and convince myself and other people that I've been
- 53:55Speaker 7: experiencing some kind of growth. Meanwhile, I was down to
- 53:58Speaker 7: like a size twenty eight. Ways, Jesus, it's not growth, brother,
- 54:02Speaker 7: it's the opposite of.
- 54:03Speaker 3: That's kind of cool, though I've never been in the
- 54:05Speaker 3: twos on my waist size.
- 54:07Speaker 7: It was nasty work.
- 54:08Speaker 3: That's good. I want to get there, bro.
- 54:11Speaker 7: Your thighs are too naturally big, brother.
- 54:14Speaker 3: Yeah, but we can. We can. We can just not
- 54:16Speaker 3: eat for a while and get those.
- 54:18Speaker 7: It doesn't work, dude, I fucking I was doing twenty
- 54:22Speaker 7: two hour intermittent fast all like last week or whatever.
- 54:25Speaker 7: Shit doesn't work. I mean, I guess just doing it
- 54:28Speaker 7: for really four day straight doesn't. That won't won't get
- 54:30Speaker 7: it done.
- 54:31Speaker 3: Why.
- 54:33Speaker 7: It's because you're comfortable, brother.
- 54:34Speaker 3: I don't have the pod because I ate a package
- 54:36Speaker 3: of new Telesticks and some mini Oreos right before and
- 54:39Speaker 3: now I'm crashing. And this happens every single time, is
- 54:41Speaker 3: the sugar crash. Every time we do the podcast, it
- 54:43Speaker 3: always follows it exactly the right amount of time after
- 54:47Speaker 3: I've eaten my treats to cause me to uh bought
- 54:51Speaker 3: a flat line on my energy?
- 54:53Speaker 7: Is that internal clock?
- 54:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 54:55Speaker 7: Uh, it's okay. You're allowed to fucking have treats. I
- 54:58Speaker 7: haven't eaten a fucking morsel to because I'm trying to
- 55:01Speaker 7: get that back down of that twenty eight ways you're
- 55:02Speaker 7: doing this fasting thing, I'm fucking trying to dude.
- 55:06Speaker 3: I'm doing the cold plunging.
- 55:08Speaker 7: Oh how amazing it is.
- 55:09Speaker 3: I love it. I can't get enough.
- 55:10Speaker 7: Did you see they're doing it on the act And
- 55:12Speaker 7: then they're like they're just like dying like ten seconds
- 55:16Speaker 7: in and I just fucking sat back and villain last, like.
- 55:22Speaker 3: I have no problem with it none. Now mine's only
- 55:26Speaker 3: like thirty six or thirty seven, So if I had
- 55:30Speaker 3: one that makes the ice, it might be worse. But
- 55:33Speaker 3: I get in and with twenty seconds I'm completely fine death.
- 55:37Speaker 3: I toes herd a little bit, but I don't mind
- 55:39Speaker 3: about that. I think I'd be fine without toes. I
- 55:44Speaker 3: don't know what I need them for.
- 55:47Speaker 7: Are they Aren't they decent for balance?
- 55:50Speaker 3: Are they do they do any balancing? When I'm barefoot?
- 55:53Speaker 3: I fell off that boat and I thought my toes
- 55:55Speaker 3: were gripping. I thought I was using my toes like
- 55:58Speaker 3: a gorilla to hold onto the boat, and I fell
- 56:01Speaker 3: off the boat and everyone mocked me for that.
- 56:03Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know. Maybe evolution will rid us of
- 56:06Speaker 7: our toes.
- 56:06Speaker 3: I just don't see the point. I don't know what
- 56:08Speaker 3: they're for.
- 56:09Speaker 7: Yeah, the interbreeding gives you the Habsburg toe. I got
- 56:15Speaker 7: a nasty Habsburg toe, going.
- 56:17Speaker 3: The web toe. I originally weren't they just they were.
- 56:22Speaker 3: I mean gorillas used their feet like hands.
- 56:25Speaker 7: And so I mean it would make evolutionary sense that
- 56:27Speaker 7: our ship is getting smaller and less handlike, and then
- 56:31Speaker 7: maybe we'll just nub out in this.
- 56:33Speaker 3: I wonder what the ideal shape from an evolutionary standpoint
- 56:38Speaker 3: a foot would be.
- 56:40Speaker 7: And do like runners have better or like longer toes?
- 56:44Speaker 7: Can they propel themselves with the toes their whip because
- 56:47Speaker 7: I've seen lebronze toes.
- 56:49Speaker 3: His toes are like, oh, I've seen them too.
- 56:51Speaker 7: It's like a deck of cards, like stacked midway against Yeah,
- 56:56Speaker 7: it is. It is. If you were based on it
- 57:00Speaker 7: off of your toes alone, the man would have never
- 57:02Speaker 7: been and would have never made the NBA would have
- 57:05Speaker 7: been executed.
- 57:06Speaker 3: By the way. I got an email from my building,
- 57:10Speaker 3: the manager, and it was one that he wrote specifically
- 57:13Speaker 3: to me, and he said that marijuana odors had emanated
- 57:18Speaker 3: from an apartment near me and they were going to investigate,
- 57:23Speaker 3: and they were reminding us of army, let's find the
- 57:26Speaker 3: guy smoking policy. Well, here's the thing. They started on
- 57:29Speaker 3: Saturday night, and I wasn't home, so it wasn't me.
- 57:35Speaker 3: And now I'm thinking that there's a cover, so I
- 57:40Speaker 3: might as well start smoking in my apartment. Yeah, or
- 57:44Speaker 3: because I've been afraid to and and I have, I
- 57:46Speaker 3: said you could check the security tapes I wasn't home,
- 57:51Speaker 3: or I should.
- 57:51Speaker 7: Go over on a time you're not there and like
- 57:54Speaker 7: blow some weed out in the hallway and fucking run
- 57:57Speaker 7: away and then we start the investigation or some shit
- 58:01Speaker 7: like that.
- 58:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:02Speaker 7: Yeah, how's the way that we can like frame it,
- 58:05Speaker 7: get the attention on somebody else, right, and then kind
- 58:08Speaker 7: of circle back around.
- 58:09Speaker 3: I feel like, if I'm gonna be if something, if
- 58:12Speaker 3: I'm going to be assumed to have been the culprit,
- 58:17Speaker 3: then I might as well.
- 58:18Speaker 7: Do the crime.
- 58:19Speaker 3: Do the crime. I've always kind of believed that.
- 58:23Speaker 7: What an insane policy in fucking twenty twenty four in
- 58:26Speaker 7: New York City, like they saw weed, like damn near
- 58:31Speaker 7: downstairs at your building.
- 58:32Speaker 3: I know it's just the I think it's the smoking thing.
- 58:35Speaker 7: Who gives a fuck. Doesn't even make it smell worse,
- 58:38Speaker 7: it doesn't. They smell delicious.
- 58:40Speaker 3: But there's a lot of kids in my building, So
- 58:42Speaker 3: I got up. I gotta make sure.
- 58:43Speaker 7: You're saying those kids aren't on the fucking dope.
- 58:46Speaker 3: If I know them as well as I think I do.
- 58:48Speaker 7: These New York kids, New York, these dangerous, badass.
- 58:51Speaker 3: New York kids, they all like the sativas.
- 58:53Speaker 7: They get sturdy and fucking get smoked sativas. That's what
- 58:57Speaker 7: they fucking do. Listen to Pop Smoke, Chip and fucking
- 59:00Speaker 7: lie those what these young children are doing these days?
- 59:06Speaker 3: What? What's the latest in the world of you know,
- 59:09Speaker 3: the stuff that you and Hairball are into.
- 59:13Speaker 7: This is a perfect chance for us to never talk
- 59:15Speaker 7: about fishing. This is a perfect episode of No.
- 59:18Speaker 3: I don't want to talk about fishing. I'm talking about
- 59:20Speaker 3: you just named Pop Smoke.
- 59:22Speaker 7: He's dead. He's dead as hell.
- 59:23Speaker 3: He died.
- 59:24Speaker 7: Yeah, where does he go? Four years ago?
- 59:27Speaker 3: Is that where sass is He's at?
