- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Cambridge Edge.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Hi guys, welcome to another episode of to Teas in
- 0:23Speaker 2: a Pod, But this time I am missing another tea
- 0:27Speaker 2: and I have my new co host for the Real
- 0:29Speaker 2: Housewives of Orange County, Alexia and Napola. Oh my gosh,
- 0:33Speaker 2: I am so excited for our first time.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Yes, I'm so happy to be here. As some people know,
- 0:39Speaker 3: I am in Paris, so I am doing the podcast
- 0:43Speaker 3: right here for my hotel room in Paris.
- 0:45Speaker 2: You know what that is a flex as I'm sitting
- 0:47Speaker 2: here in Encino and it's one hundred degrees and my
- 0:50Speaker 2: air conditioning's not working. Alexia is in Paris, but before
- 0:54Speaker 2: you were in Paris, you were in Madrid, And of
- 0:56Speaker 2: course I'm gonna have to ask you this straight up, god,
- 1:00Speaker 2: or I'm not going to answer it. Well, you're gonna
- 1:02Speaker 2: have to a little bit. I saw that you insinuated
- 1:08Speaker 2: that you had brought Todd to Madrid and he's tagged
- 1:12Speaker 2: in a photo.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Well that that was not an insinuation at all, by
- 1:17Speaker 3: the way, Like, what was it because I tagged him
- 1:20Speaker 3: that he was with me in Madrid. If that would
- 1:22Speaker 3: have been the case, you would have seen that as well.
- 1:25Speaker 3: The case was that I'm eating a club sandwich and
- 1:27Speaker 3: we would always eat clip sandwiches there, and I tagged
- 1:29Speaker 3: him because it was like his favorite club sandwich. That's exactly.
- 1:33Speaker 2: So it was just you were just flirting.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Oh, I mean, I don't even really consider that flirting.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I just consider it like we talked about, like, oh,
- 1:40Speaker 3: make sure you have the club sandwich while you're there.
- 1:42Speaker 3: So I did. I took a picture of it, and
- 1:44Speaker 3: I tagged him so he can see how beautiful it
- 1:47Speaker 3: was and how tasty it was.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I still think, you know what, I'm still going
- 1:52Speaker 2: to go off the fact that Todd was in Madrid.
- 1:54Speaker 3: You could know he's not in the Drid and he's
- 1:57Speaker 3: not in Paris. This is a solo euro Tree and
- 2:01Speaker 3: I have a lot of friends in Madrid, and I'm
- 2:03Speaker 3: in Paris with one of my best friends, Johnny, and
- 2:06Speaker 3: then I'm gonna continue to London Croatia.
- 2:09Speaker 2: All right, Well we'll see. We'll see about that. We'll
- 2:11Speaker 2: see when his head pops out of the bathroom door
- 2:15Speaker 2: behind you, it's not oh my gosh, Okay, well we'll
- 2:19Speaker 2: we'll see, we'll see, she said.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I didn't think a club soundwich was never gonna make
- 2:23Speaker 3: it to page six, and apparently I did, just because
- 2:27Speaker 3: I tagged them.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Well the no what else has made it to page
- 2:30Speaker 2: six non stop? The picture of Larsa and Teresa photoshopped.
- 2:34Speaker 2: There are in more countries than you are now at
- 2:37Speaker 2: this point.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Like I saw that, and I saw the Marisol wanted
- 2:40Speaker 3: to add herself to to the fund and she added
- 2:43Speaker 3: her picture as well, with like a big butt that
- 2:45Speaker 3: she's never had.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Oh my god, I didn't notice that part. She added
- 2:49Speaker 2: a butt she gave herself.
- 2:50Speaker 3: That's not Marissol's butt. Like I've known Marissol for twenty
- 2:53Speaker 3: something years. She's never had that butt.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Maybe she got a VPL while you were gone or
- 2:57Speaker 2: BPL or what is it called BBL.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it was like an old photo of hers,
- 3:02Speaker 3: and I guess the she photoshopped it too, So what
- 3:04Speaker 3: would you photoshop? I guess she would photoshop a butt
- 3:07Speaker 3: on herself. Listen, I photoshop and that's not her butt.
- 3:12Speaker 3: That's never been her butt.
- 3:13Speaker 2: My butt's a chicken butt. It just looks like too.
- 3:19Speaker 2: But well, thank you. Well, I'm excited to have you here.
- 3:23Speaker 2: As everybody knows, that listens to Tucciese and a pod
- 3:25Speaker 2: Tamra is not able to discuss Real Housewives of Orange County.
- 3:30Speaker 2: It doesn't mean that we're in a fight. It doesn't
- 3:32Speaker 2: mean that we're not doing the pod together anymore. It's
- 3:35Speaker 2: that Alexia is coming and filling in and going to
- 3:39Speaker 2: give all of her hot takes on Orange County, which
- 3:41Speaker 2: I'm so excited about because she has strong opinions and
- 3:44Speaker 2: I hope sometimes they don't mesh with mine because I
- 3:47Speaker 2: think that will keep this even.
- 3:49Speaker 3: That's what's going to make it fun. And I love
- 3:52Speaker 3: that you clarify that you and Tama are okay, because
- 3:54Speaker 3: I feel like we have to be explaining ourselves like
- 3:57Speaker 3: every minute, right, Yeah, they're gonna.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Be like Teddy didn't like it, so and so happens,
- 4:03Speaker 2: and now it's no. Every time one of us is
- 4:06Speaker 2: on vacation or something happens, they're like, they broke up.
- 4:09Speaker 2: They're in the biggest fight ever. The podcast is over.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm visiting my family, like, calm down. But
- 4:17Speaker 2: we're gonna start off the pod with the headline that
- 4:20Speaker 2: Shannon Budoor was on Jeff Lewis Live, which I don't
- 4:23Speaker 2: know have you done Jeff Lewis, No, I haven't, so
- 4:27Speaker 2: anytime you go on Jeffrey's Live.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Friends, right, Jeff Lewis and Shannon are good friends.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Yes, and they are good friends, but she essentially talks
- 4:35Speaker 2: about She revealed new details about the timeline of Alexis
- 4:40Speaker 2: Bellino's romance with John Janssen, which we got to know
- 4:45Speaker 2: Alexis for the first time when we all went to
- 4:48Speaker 2: go see we should be saying Janet Jackson, but I
- 4:51Speaker 2: just say Nelly at this point because well, I stopped
- 4:57Speaker 2: remembering after Nelly. But but she said we had broken
- 5:02Speaker 2: up and then they started dating about six weeks after
- 5:05Speaker 2: we broke up, and then the show started filming, and
- 5:09Speaker 2: I think they'd been dating about a month and a
- 5:11Speaker 2: half two months at that time, so it was a
- 5:13Speaker 2: new relationship. So no, it wasn't fun, but I got
- 5:16Speaker 2: through it, so you'll have to tune in. Then she
- 5:18Speaker 2: says she's a friend. Let's be clear, she's a friend.
- 5:23Speaker 2: She's not holding an orange, Shannon stated. Then, after it
- 5:27Speaker 2: was noted that Alexis had posted a photo of herself
- 5:30Speaker 2: with the rest of the women, Shannon said, I don't
- 5:33Speaker 2: know if this means anything, but let's take her out
- 5:35Speaker 2: because she was never in the flipping picture. Who's in
- 5:39Speaker 2: the ciner? That would be me? It's so thirsty, and
- 5:42Speaker 2: I'll just leave it at that. Shannon's friend Vicki, also
- 5:46Speaker 2: posted a cast photo with her cell photoshopped in it.
- 5:49Speaker 3: So and I know that that's what the women do.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I don't think. I don't think Maraison, Nijohn and Katy
- 5:55Speaker 3: did that. No, that you shouldn't do that, But even
- 5:59Speaker 3: I was allowed to do that.
- 6:00Speaker 2: No, they but the point being, and listen, I'm not
- 6:03Speaker 2: taking sides here at this point of the season. But
- 6:07Speaker 2: I was told that fans are the one that put
- 6:12Speaker 2: Alexis in the photo, and Alexis just shared it versus
- 6:16Speaker 2: her putting herself in there.
- 6:19Speaker 3: But they actually do it, or whether they're fans, whether
- 6:22Speaker 3: you know the fans did it, It wasn't Bravo.
- 6:24Speaker 2: You know how sometimes they'll film this, they'll take pictures
- 6:27Speaker 2: of us all separately because everyone's fighting, and then put
- 6:29Speaker 2: us all in No, she was at that photo shoot.
- 6:33Speaker 2: She is in the silver dress. But a fan made
- 6:36Speaker 2: that picture tagged Alexis, and then Alexa shared it. But
- 6:39Speaker 2: then Shannon was saying how thirsty it was that Alexis
- 6:42Speaker 2: did that, but a fan did it, but also so
- 6:45Speaker 2: did VICKI H So, I mean.
- 6:48Speaker 3: How do you feel about that?
- 6:50Speaker 2: I feel like, listen, if you're trying to be funny
- 6:54Speaker 2: and you're poking fun at yourself, I'm photoshop yourself into
- 6:58Speaker 2: whatever you want. Like I photoshopped Caroline Stanbury's face under
- 7:02Speaker 2: my pregnant body because she's in all this drama right
- 7:05Speaker 2: now about not wanting to get pregnant. I'm like, you
- 7:06Speaker 2: can have mine because I'm being I'm making a joke
- 7:10Speaker 2: of the situation, but when you're I don't know, I'm
- 7:15Speaker 2: weird about that. I also am weird about like people
- 7:17Speaker 2: calling themselves iconic or queen or any of those things.
- 7:20Speaker 3: So what about star? I called myself a star.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I'm actually weird about that too, right, But I mean,
- 7:30Speaker 4: I think you're a star, but you needed to tell me.
- 7:34Speaker 2: It's slightly concerning.
- 7:36Speaker 3: I mean, I was being funny too, but I guess
- 7:38Speaker 3: will under the context. But yeah, it was just like
- 7:41Speaker 3: a crazy moment that I had. But I feel that
- 7:44Speaker 3: Alexis was just really resharing, like what fans do you know?
- 7:48Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know that she did it to
- 7:49Speaker 3: bother Shannon. But she did it, you.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Know, But I don't think that she I don't think regardless,
- 7:56Speaker 2: I liked my time with Alexis. Do I think she's
- 7:59Speaker 2: doing things to intentionally bother Shannon?
- 8:02Speaker 3: Sure?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Yeah, like yeah, of course. Do you know what you're
- 8:07Speaker 2: doing right? And you can make a choice. You could
- 8:11Speaker 2: you could privately be entering a relationship if you're coming
- 8:14Speaker 2: into a new show and not. But no, no, no,
- 8:17Speaker 2: it's all over the place. And we just saw online
- 8:20Speaker 2: that they're shopping for engagement rings.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Well that's really crazy. I mean, how do you know that,
- 8:25Speaker 3: like this is a guy after such a short period
- 8:27Speaker 3: of time. But I mean, remember she told us they
- 8:31Speaker 3: have sex how many times? More times a day than
- 8:33Speaker 3: Larsus says.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Yeah, like four or fun times a day. She said, listen,
- 8:38Speaker 5: I'm good four to five times a month. But then
- 8:43Speaker 5: Shannon said she's currently friends with some people. I don't
- 8:47Speaker 5: think I should say who, because there's stuff that happens,
- 8:49Speaker 5: especially in the first episode that's really really nice. So
- 8:53Speaker 5: let's just put this away. I'm friendly with some of
- 8:55Speaker 5: the cast and then some I don't speak to it all,
- 8:58Speaker 5: she explained, I am curious, who would you guess that
- 9:01Speaker 5: Shannon's close with right now?
- 9:05Speaker 2: Hmmm, well, not worth maybe.
- 9:11Speaker 3: I mean closest is a strong word, so I mean
- 9:14Speaker 3: at this point, maybe after her season, she's close to
- 9:17Speaker 3: a few people. But in the beginning, which is what
- 9:20Speaker 3: we saw episode one, it's kind of like she's on
- 9:23Speaker 3: her own. It's like it's all about her. It's like
- 9:25Speaker 3: everybody against her. Like that's that's what I sensed. Yeah,
- 9:28Speaker 3: and honestly made me feel a little bit uncomfortable because
- 9:32Speaker 3: it was like a lot. She's dealing with so many
- 9:34Speaker 3: different issues, and they're really personal issues. You know, she's
- 9:37Speaker 3: talking about like her ex boyfriend that she was with
- 9:39Speaker 3: for three years, she's talking about her children, a dui.
- 9:43Speaker 3: I mean, it's it's it's a lot. I mean I
- 9:46Speaker 3: felt I really felt bad for her, honestly.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And what are your thoughts about? You know, something that
- 10:03Speaker 2: I've seen online in different places is that people are
- 10:08Speaker 2: coming from both directions. One are coming for the women
- 10:11Speaker 2: are terrible that they're you know, throwing this in her face.
- 10:13Speaker 2: But then there's also people saying she chose to do
- 10:17Speaker 2: the show after this happened. You know it's going to happen, right,
- 10:21Speaker 2: So what are your thoughts on that, like, do you say,
- 10:23Speaker 2: I feel like we all know that when we sign
- 10:25Speaker 2: up to do these kind of shows, we know what
- 10:27Speaker 2: it's about. So we you know, we've grown like thick skin,
- 10:30Speaker 2: and we know that we have to tell her story
- 10:34Speaker 2: because that's what we're there for and what we're getting
- 10:36Speaker 2: paid for. And she seems to be okay with doing it.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I mean, I have, you know, haven't watched her before
- 10:42Speaker 2: in the other season, so I don't know if she's
- 10:44Speaker 2: always been a very like genuine and authentic person where
- 10:47Speaker 2: she opens up and she's shared a lot about her life.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I think that's the hard part is last season there
- 10:52Speaker 2: was multiple times where they broke the fourth wall and
- 10:55Speaker 2: it's her yelling at production that she's not doing this.
- 10:58Speaker 2: So her relationship last year was kind of coming undone,
- 11:03Speaker 2: and then the other women were kind of calling her
- 11:06Speaker 2: out on in a camera because she was having off
- 11:07Speaker 2: camera conversations and then on camera she was like things
- 11:11Speaker 2: are great, and you know that starts to rub people
- 11:14Speaker 2: the wrong way, right, and then maybe allegedly she wouldn't
- 11:19Speaker 2: remember these conversations, and then it would just became a
- 11:23Speaker 2: whole big game of telephone and that was essentially last season,
- 11:26Speaker 2: and then ten days after the reunion is when she
- 11:29Speaker 2: got the DUI. I had previously thought that her and
- 11:32Speaker 2: John Jansen had gone out together and she they got
- 11:36Speaker 2: in a fight out, but apparently what I've been told
- 11:41Speaker 2: is that she was already drinking in a situation, went
- 11:46Speaker 2: over to John Jansen's house, they got into a fight,
- 11:49Speaker 2: and he told her not to drive, and then she
- 11:51Speaker 2: drove home. That's when she crashed into the house.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, that's that's what I've heard as well, which
- 11:59Speaker 3: I think makes sense. I mean, you know, she just
- 12:01Speaker 3: had broken up with her her boyfriend after all this time,
- 12:04Speaker 3: and it had that kind of relationship, and we also
- 12:08Speaker 3: know she drinks and she likes to drink, and just
- 12:10Speaker 3: like just everything mounted up where the where she showed
- 12:13Speaker 3: up at his house and it's not the first time
- 12:15Speaker 3: that you know, he an ext wife or an next
- 12:17Speaker 3: girlfriend or whatnot shows up at the guy's house and
- 12:19Speaker 3: they get into an argument and she's drinking, and unfortunately
- 12:23Speaker 3: she took off her new car and she had an accident.
- 12:25Speaker 3: She could have, you know, hurt someone and she hurt
- 12:27Speaker 3: herself as well.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, because then we see her showing Heather
- 12:32Speaker 2: a bloody photo of her face, which we hadn't seen
- 12:35Speaker 2: prior to this, we had only seen her in the sling.
- 12:39Speaker 2: There was like a photo of her walking into her house,
- 12:42Speaker 2: I think with John Jansen, and it was her coming
- 12:44Speaker 2: from the hospital. But then they kind of get into
- 12:48Speaker 2: a conversation where there it's now five months later, they're
- 12:51Speaker 2: filming Orange County. Shannon meets up with Emily and says
- 12:55Speaker 2: she's been working on herself. She's just been making some
- 12:58Speaker 2: poor decisions. She's too drink max person. And then Emily
- 13:02Speaker 2: wonders if sobriety should be an option, but Shannon says
- 13:05Speaker 2: she doesn't drink that often. Here's here's my issue. And
- 13:12Speaker 2: I don't want to come down on Shannon too hard.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Do I drink too much sometimes? One million percent?
- 13:18Speaker 3: I feel like a lot of people don't.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think if you say you don't drink
- 13:22Speaker 2: too much most of the time, it means that you
- 13:25Speaker 2: do have some sort of a problem. Like I can
- 13:27Speaker 2: openly admit, like, oh yeah, if I'm in a bad
- 13:29Speaker 2: place and I drink too much, I'm a shit show.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Or if I'm in a good mood i drink too much,
- 13:34Speaker 2: I'm the most fun.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Right, So that's what I was gonna say. I was
- 13:37Speaker 3: gonna say, you have to be careful because sometimes when
- 13:39Speaker 3: you're like in a really bad place and you're sad
- 13:41Speaker 3: or angry and whatnot, and you drink and that kind
- 13:43Speaker 3: of like adds to whatever feeling or emotion you're going through,
- 13:46Speaker 3: and it's not good. If you're happy and you're just
- 13:49Speaker 3: gonna get happier and it's not gonna affect yourself or
- 13:51Speaker 3: anybody else, then go ahead and do it. But definitely
- 13:53Speaker 3: not no drive, I mean definitely not.
- 13:55Speaker 2: That was gonna be my point. But never we are
- 13:59Speaker 2: It's not like we're she's twenty one years old. We
- 14:01Speaker 2: were grown ass women like we had Like it costs
- 14:05Speaker 2: eight dollars probably for her to get an uber to
- 14:08Speaker 2: John Jansen's house to have that same fight. Right, Why
- 14:12Speaker 2: would you ever think? And that's where it gets worrisome
- 14:16Speaker 2: to me. Plus we have to go back to the past,
- 14:19Speaker 2: which I'm going to to kind of give you a
- 14:21Speaker 2: little history. There's always been a thing about Shannon calling
- 14:24Speaker 2: the women drunk and spewing things. But then there's always
- 14:26Speaker 2: been a thing about Shannon, like Shannon kind of went
- 14:29Speaker 2: after Gina about Gina's dui and how she was going
- 14:32Speaker 2: to lose her kids, and like really went for Gina
- 14:36Speaker 2: about her making that mistake as well. So now it's
- 14:40Speaker 2: come back and it's like, yeah, we're all hypocrites, but
- 14:44Speaker 2: that wasn't that long ago. That's tough.
- 14:48Speaker 3: I mean, I get it. I mean I feel like
- 14:50Speaker 3: they obviously you're seeing it because they're on national TV
- 14:53Speaker 3: and everyone's seeing it. But I see I feel like
- 14:55Speaker 3: a lot of women do it, and a lot of
- 14:56Speaker 3: people do that that you know, they drink under the
- 14:59Speaker 3: influence and we see it every day. We were just
- 15:01Speaker 3: talking in my podcast with Marisa about justin Timberlake a
- 15:04Speaker 3: few weeks ago, and you know, it can happen to
- 15:07Speaker 3: anybody and to everyone. So it's like, that's really like
- 15:09Speaker 3: the point here. If you want to drink, you know,
- 15:12Speaker 3: stay home or get in a number or have a
- 15:15Speaker 3: friend driver or what not. Just don't get behind the wheel.
- 15:18Speaker 3: You just can't do that.
- 15:19Speaker 2: It's nice.
- 15:20Speaker 3: And then now before she's sharing all this because this
- 15:22Speaker 3: is the other thing, Teddy even it's like, okay, well
- 15:24Speaker 3: why do the show you We're gonna have to talk
- 15:26Speaker 3: about it. Well, there's this thing called social media that
- 15:29Speaker 3: everybody is like on one hundred percent of the time,
- 15:32Speaker 3: and when you're a public person, you can't hide anything.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I mean, you can hide anything. Every They found out
- 15:36Speaker 3: immediately when she was arrested and everything that happened, so
- 15:40Speaker 3: it's a it's already public.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Yeah, we've seen the video, We've seen everything that happened.
- 15:45Speaker 2: We saw the damage on the house, we've seen her injuries.
- 15:48Speaker 3: So it wasn't on this show. The entire world knows
- 15:51Speaker 3: about it. So maybe she can come back now and
- 15:53Speaker 3: she can say her story and her narrative and her
- 15:55Speaker 3: side of the story.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Did you feel sympathetic watching her?
- 15:59Speaker 3: You know I did, because you know, I am human,
- 16:01Speaker 3: I am a mom, you know, a woman, you know,
- 16:05Speaker 3: a wife. I mean, it's like it's hard to be,
- 16:08Speaker 3: you know, in her shoes right now. And I did
- 16:11Speaker 3: feel sympathetic because I have a kind heart. You know,
- 16:14Speaker 3: I have no excuse for her to drive. But there's
- 16:16Speaker 3: so many people like that right that you care and
- 16:18Speaker 3: love and they make the wrong decisions. Yeah, you know,
- 16:21Speaker 3: so you're upset at them because they did that and
- 16:23Speaker 3: you wish they wouldn't have done it. And I don't
- 16:24Speaker 3: even know her that way, But did you think that
- 16:26Speaker 3: she wanted to get in that car and you know,
- 16:28Speaker 3: get into one accident and the whole world find about it,
- 16:31Speaker 3: and you know, and hurt herself, maybe hurt somebody, her kids.
- 16:34Speaker 3: I mean, she has to really fit feel like shit.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Honestly to not be able to travel to see your
- 16:38Speaker 2: child in another country because you're I have legal ramifications.
- 16:43Speaker 2: It's just another like when when we saw that conversation
- 16:46Speaker 2: with her kids, I was like like, yeah, I didn't
- 16:48Speaker 2: even think about that part. Like there's the whole kid's
- 16:52Speaker 2: dynamic aspect also, and like it's very hard as a mom,
- 16:55Speaker 2: at least for me to be like, hey, guys, you
- 16:58Speaker 2: can't ever do this, but I did, right.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, I mean you can turn it into like
- 17:04Speaker 3: learn from me, you know what, Like you don't want
- 17:06Speaker 3: to end up like your mom, or you never want
- 17:07Speaker 3: this to happen to you. You know, you guys are young,
- 17:10Speaker 3: you have a life ahead of you. You know, you
- 17:12Speaker 3: can turn it always into like a life lesson. But
- 17:14Speaker 3: she has to be embarrassed. Yeah, I mean, who's going
- 17:17Speaker 3: to be proud about that? And then now she has
- 17:18Speaker 3: all the other girls that are going to be sticking
- 17:20Speaker 3: in her face all throughout the season, everything she did wrong.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I know, I wish you would just take a little
- 17:26Speaker 2: bit of ownership about it instead of it being like
- 17:29Speaker 2: it's it's John, Like I do I love John Janssen. No,
- 17:34Speaker 2: there's a lot of guys on the show that I
- 17:37Speaker 2: don't know enough to really make a true decision. But
- 17:39Speaker 2: I've never gotten that like warm, fuzzy feeling watching him. Yeah,
- 17:43Speaker 2: I think I would like him either, by the way, Yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 2: I don't know why. It's not like maybe he'll grow
- 17:49Speaker 2: on me at some point. But I don't know that
- 17:52Speaker 2: you can use your circumstance as an excuse.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Like well, I mean there's some men they know how
- 17:58Speaker 3: to push the buttons and and and I guess that
- 18:02Speaker 3: John knew that about Shannon and then put that on
- 18:04Speaker 3: top that she would drink, you know, to overcompensate whatever
- 18:07Speaker 3: she was going through, and this is the result that
- 18:10Speaker 3: you get. So, I mean I feel that that's like,
- 18:13Speaker 3: obviously you really can't blame him, but indirectly he did
- 18:16Speaker 3: have something to do with it.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Do you think that she was showing self awareness in
- 18:20Speaker 2: this episode?
- 18:23Speaker 3: I mean, she she did own what had happened, And
- 18:27Speaker 3: I think because the entire world knows about it, so
- 18:29Speaker 3: you can't hide it. You know. It wasn't like back
- 18:31Speaker 3: in the day when there was no social media that
- 18:33Speaker 3: you can hide these things, you know, as long as
- 18:35Speaker 3: one of the other cast members wouldn't bring it up
- 18:37Speaker 3: or they were like your friend, they were white. This
- 18:40Speaker 3: was years ago when we started to show in twenty ten,
- 18:42Speaker 3: that's what would happened. But now there's no secrets, so
- 18:45Speaker 3: you actually have an advantage of being on a show
- 18:48Speaker 3: like this where you have your platform where you can
- 18:49Speaker 3: really speak the truth. And that's what I wish that
- 18:52Speaker 3: these women would do that. R and D shows like
- 18:54Speaker 3: Don't Lie, you know, like the But do.
- 18:57Speaker 2: You think the true to Drink Max is a lie?
- 18:59Speaker 3: Oh oh no, well that I don't believe her too. Yeah,
- 19:03Speaker 3: I just have two drinks and I'm not gonna crush
- 19:05Speaker 3: and do make irresponsible decisions with two drinks. But that's me.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Maybe somebody else has two drinks and they do make miss,
- 19:13Speaker 3: you know, irresponsible choices and whatnot.
- 19:15Speaker 2: I think she was saying since then she's a true
- 19:18Speaker 2: too Drink Max person. But I'm still like, I feel
- 19:22Speaker 2: like when you have to clarify that it's a little dicey.
- 19:25Speaker 2: But Tamar questions and asks Heather if she thinks Shannon
- 19:28Speaker 2: has an alcohol problem, and Heather says she thinks that
- 19:31Speaker 2: she does. Then Gina says, Shannon is twenty years ahead
- 19:35Speaker 2: of her and she didn't like what that looked like.
- 19:37Speaker 2: That's why she changed her life. And then Shannon says
- 19:40Speaker 2: every day she wakes up and thinks about what happened.
- 19:42Speaker 2: And that's when Tama equips is that after you've had
- 19:47Speaker 2: a drink, I don't know if that happened in real time, right,
- 19:51Speaker 2: I know? And then Shannon is done with people saying
- 19:54Speaker 2: she's a drunk who needs help. She had a really
- 19:56Speaker 2: bad night. She cries and walks off in her confessional.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Oh that was a lot, Yeah, it was a lot.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I think what ends up happening is that so many
- 20:08Speaker 2: times things happen off camera as well, and the women
- 20:12Speaker 2: try to protect the other women until they can't anymore
- 20:14Speaker 2: and it feels toxic. And then when the other women
- 20:17Speaker 2: won't take full of like I hate to use the word,
- 20:20Speaker 2: but accountability for something, the others just go they can't
- 20:24Speaker 2: handle it, like you've been doing this for years, We've watched.
- 20:27Speaker 3: It, right, but do you know that, like what what
- 20:31Speaker 3: are the girls saying that she always behaves in this manner,
- 20:34Speaker 3: like she's always drinking and she don't like to be
- 20:37Speaker 3: the drunk. I don't know her past, so I'm not sure.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I would say that she is a seasoned drinker
- 20:45Speaker 2: anytime I've been around her, and me too.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Well, I feel like a lot of these women drink
- 20:52Speaker 3: too on the show just to feel more comfortable, and
- 20:57Speaker 3: that you know, to you they feel anxious, so it
- 20:59Speaker 3: takes away there anxiety. Or if they're quiet and they
- 21:02Speaker 3: have a drink, you know they're going to be more feisty.
- 21:04Speaker 3: So you know, different reasons like I don't know her
- 21:07Speaker 3: in her day to day life, you know, and I
- 21:09Speaker 3: feel that that's what really makes on alcoholics, Like I
- 21:11Speaker 3: don't know if she only drinks when she's on camera
- 21:13Speaker 3: and around these women, or does she really wakes up
- 21:15Speaker 3: and drink? Yeah, does she wake up every day and nonfunction?
- 21:19Speaker 3: Is she a functional alcoholic? I don't know her well enough,
- 21:22Speaker 3: you know, to give my opinion. And that's why it's
- 21:25Speaker 3: hard for me to give my opinion about women that
- 21:27Speaker 3: I watch a clip up, you know, for five minutes,
- 21:30Speaker 3: because you know, it has to do with a lot
- 21:32Speaker 3: of things, and you know what I'm talking about. So
- 21:34Speaker 3: I don't know that, you know, and I haven't watched
- 21:35Speaker 3: her enough to know that in every season she has
- 21:39Speaker 3: been you know, accused of drinking too much, or she's
- 21:42Speaker 3: had problems handling her alcohol or whatnot. But if the
- 21:46Speaker 3: girls really care about her, they would try to help
- 21:48Speaker 3: her and not like attack her. I mean, this woman's
- 21:50Speaker 3: already going through a lot of stuff, and I feel
- 21:52Speaker 3: like they need to be a little bit more sensitive
- 21:54Speaker 3: because they're not going to get the result they want.
- 21:57Speaker 3: I mean, if you want somebody to get better, to
- 21:59Speaker 3: actually understand or become aware, you're not not everybody's gonna
- 22:04Speaker 3: attack her, you know, have that approach towards her that's
- 22:07Speaker 3: going through stuff. So that's why acting the way she is.
- 22:10Speaker 2: But yeah, it's like, but how many years can you
- 22:13Speaker 2: be going through stuff like always? Do you get? Is
- 22:16Speaker 2: that a card forever?
- 22:18Speaker 3: No? I don't think it gives you the right to
- 22:20Speaker 3: behave poorly and make the wrong decisions, you know, and
- 22:22Speaker 3: we're all going through stuff. But you know, again, I
- 22:25Speaker 3: feel that all this really came to life because she
- 22:27Speaker 3: had the DUI. I mean, there's people that drink every
- 22:29Speaker 3: day and they take uber or they stay home and
- 22:31Speaker 3: pass out and nobody finds out about it. Unluckily for her,
- 22:34Speaker 3: she's a public person and that happened and the entire
- 22:37Speaker 3: world found out about it.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Yeah, so then Tamra, Jen and Emily go to the gym.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Tamra says that right after Shannon's duy, Shannon was telling
- 22:44Speaker 2: the press she wasn't drinking anymore. She was drinking diet coke,
- 22:47Speaker 2: and then at the Trace Amiga shows, Shannon would secretly
- 22:50Speaker 2: pour herself drinks. Tamar didn't feel like it was right
- 22:54Speaker 2: to continue doing a show revolving around drinking. Do you
- 22:58Speaker 2: agree that with Tama or that pausing that Trace a
- 23:01Speaker 2: Mega's live show was the way to go. Yeah.
- 23:04Speaker 3: I like that Tamra did that. I think that that's
- 23:06Speaker 3: being a good friend and actually supporting her. I don't know.
- 23:09Speaker 3: She had the conversation with Shannon and told her, listen,
- 23:12Speaker 3: you know this is not going to be good for you.
- 23:14Speaker 3: It's not going to be good for us. You know,
- 23:15Speaker 3: we're involved around alcohol all the time, and you know,
- 23:18Speaker 3: I get it. It's a show. You want to have fun,
- 23:20Speaker 3: We're all going to be drinking, so it's just better to,
- 23:23Speaker 3: like cancel it and not do it anymore, because you
- 23:25Speaker 3: could have a bigger things to worry about right now
- 23:28Speaker 3: than to be, you know, doing a show, you know,
- 23:30Speaker 3: around the country and getting drunk because all eyes are
- 23:33Speaker 3: going to be new and you need to get better.
- 23:35Speaker 3: So I don't know if that conversation happened or she
- 23:37Speaker 3: just like, you know, stop.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I can give a little insight just
- 23:42Speaker 2: to clarify, and this is not me being biased, so
- 23:46Speaker 2: everyone please relax. But I know for a fact that
- 23:49Speaker 2: Tamar absolutely was there for Shannon as support after her duy.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Tama just didn't think that doing the trace and a megas
- 23:58Speaker 2: right away was a good idea. She had found out
- 24:03Speaker 2: that Shannon and Vicki were saying, you know, terrible things
- 24:06Speaker 2: about her.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Uh.
- 24:08Speaker 2: They had signed on with the manager why Tamro was
- 24:10Speaker 2: in Scotland doing Traders, and then without her knowledge, gave
- 24:16Speaker 2: permission that Tamo would continue. So of course, going into
- 24:19Speaker 2: the season, Tama was going to be pissed because she
- 24:22Speaker 2: knew this was going to happen with Shannon, like she
- 24:26Speaker 2: already was like there for her. Then she went away,
- 24:30Speaker 2: and you know how you are when you're on those
- 24:32Speaker 2: shows like you're like locked up, and they committed to
- 24:35Speaker 2: something that she had already told them. I don't think
- 24:38Speaker 2: it's a good idea. And then so she's gonna come
- 24:42Speaker 2: in hot. Yeah, Like so I think that's what happened.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Then we get to Shannon sitting down with her daughters.
- 24:51Speaker 2: She says the night she got her DUY, she and
- 24:53Speaker 2: John got in a big argument and he called her
- 24:55Speaker 2: a drunken idiot, and driving home, she lost control of
- 24:58Speaker 2: the car. One of her daughters says, this sucks, but
- 25:01Speaker 2: it happened for a reason. Then she said she went
- 25:04Speaker 2: through a thirty day wellness program as seeing a therapist.
- 25:07Speaker 2: And then Shannon says John called her ten days after
- 25:10Speaker 2: her DUI saying he was cutting all ties, that she
- 25:14Speaker 2: ruined his and his family's lives. And then six weeks
- 25:17Speaker 2: after the phone called, John started dating Alexis. Then we
- 25:21Speaker 2: flashed back to the gym. Emily brings up how Alexis's
- 25:25Speaker 2: ex husband sued Tamara and Shannon, and Tarmra says John
- 25:28Speaker 2: dating Alexis is karma. Do you feel like Shannon is
- 25:32Speaker 2: trying to insinuate John is partly to blame for her DUI?
- 25:38Speaker 3: No, I mean I don't really think she was insinuating.
- 25:40Speaker 3: I think, like deep in her heart, you know, she
- 25:42Speaker 3: does think that a lot of her anger and frustration
- 25:45Speaker 3: and whatnot is due to the relationship that she's had
- 25:50Speaker 3: with John all the time, and she has to be pissed.
- 25:52Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know what kind of relationship they
- 25:54Speaker 3: had or if she's still in love with the guy.
- 25:56Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know that, but I mean at
- 25:58Speaker 3: this point, she probably hates him and she saw that
- 26:00Speaker 3: he's moved on.
- 26:01Speaker 2: So I mean, do you think she hates somewhere? Do
- 26:03Speaker 2: you think she's even more in love with him? You
- 26:05Speaker 2: know how sometimes in like really toxic relationships, like once
- 26:09Speaker 2: they they're fully gone, you just feel like I need
- 26:11Speaker 2: to get like I need to get back.
- 26:13Speaker 3: I need you know, I think you did her favor.
- 26:15Speaker 3: I think you did her a favor by meeting Alexis,
- 26:17Speaker 3: because I don't think there's no return there. I think
- 26:19Speaker 3: he was going to stay with Alexis, And you know,
- 26:22Speaker 3: she might not realize it now, but she'll realize it
- 26:26Speaker 3: that he did her favor, and Alexis did her favor
- 26:28Speaker 3: by you know, by meeting each other and by being together,
- 26:31Speaker 3: because if not, I feel I feel like Shannon was
- 26:34Speaker 3: going to continue with this nonsense, which yeah.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I did appreciate the conversations being had with her kids
- 26:40Speaker 2: because that was something I hadn't even put into my
- 26:44Speaker 2: my stratosphere of thinking. Then we get to Heather and
- 26:48Speaker 2: Terry have moved into their new house in Beverly Hills,
- 26:51Speaker 2: which I'm like, aren't we watching the Royal Housewives Orange County?
- 26:53Speaker 3: I know, how did that happen? I was going to
- 26:55Speaker 3: ask you that, how do you live in Beverly Hills
- 26:57Speaker 3: and film and no, se Well, I think I want
- 27:01Speaker 3: to tell you.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Well, what the reasoning behind us? I think Heather's kids
- 27:05Speaker 2: go to school in LA. They have the house in
- 27:09Speaker 2: Beverly Hills, but that's why. So Balboa Bay Club, for
- 27:12Speaker 2: anyone curious, is this like beautiful. It's not a country club,
- 27:17Speaker 2: but it's in lack of a better word. You sign up,
- 27:20Speaker 2: you're a member, and then you get one of the condos.
- 27:23Speaker 2: So I think in order to make it all makes sense,
- 27:27Speaker 2: and they can still see Terry's mom, they have a
- 27:30Speaker 2: place at Baboa Bay Club, which is also in Orange County,
- 27:34Speaker 2: So I think they're residing in Los Angeles for the kids.
- 27:38Speaker 2: The family for Terry and then they have a place
- 27:43Speaker 2: at Balboa Bay Club.
- 27:45Speaker 3: I was going to google this last night, but I forgot,
- 27:47Speaker 3: so I don't want to be ignorant. But how far
- 27:49Speaker 3: is oc Orange County from Los Angeles.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Depends on traffic. Like, if I left at five forty
- 27:55Speaker 2: five in the morning, I could be at Tamra's house
- 27:58Speaker 2: in less than an hour. If I after ten am, okay,
- 28:02Speaker 2: if I left at ten am, two and a half.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Hours, okay. Well, it's kind of like Miami, like when
- 28:07Speaker 3: I go to Marisol's house and she still lives in Miami,
- 28:10Speaker 3: Like I do it technically, Well, I mean I live
- 28:12Speaker 3: in a certain area of Sunny Owls and I'm living
- 28:14Speaker 3: in the beach, but it's an hour away as well.
- 28:16Speaker 3: So the part that's.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Different is if there was a real Housewives of Sunny Isles, right,
- 28:21Speaker 2: why would you be on Miami that that's where there's
- 28:24Speaker 2: a little bit of a I mean, I don't mind
- 28:26Speaker 2: it at all. I don't care, right, I think Heather.
- 28:30Speaker 3: I feel like she can she can work out in
- 28:32Speaker 3: both franchises.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Listen, if you're that rich, yeah, go for it. You
- 28:36Speaker 2: can be on all the places, right, And like I'm
- 28:40Speaker 2: I'm willing to, you know, go on her jet and
- 28:43Speaker 2: go wherever she wants to go. I'll reside in her club.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, she can come to Miami whenever she wants to.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Then, Gina tells Emily that her client's brother bumped into
- 28:57Speaker 2: Shannon at the store with a shopping cart full of boots.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Gina says Shannon gave her so much shit for Dui
- 29:03Speaker 2: and she has no respect for her now. She thinks
- 29:05Speaker 2: Shannon needs to go to rehab. Gina talks about how
- 29:08Speaker 2: she and Travis can't afford a house to fit their
- 29:11Speaker 2: combined family and they may need to live separately and
- 29:13Speaker 2: see where the chips lay. Later, Gina and Travis discussed
- 29:17Speaker 2: this decision, which Travis doesn't agree with and feels like
- 29:20Speaker 2: it's pulling them apart. H there's a lot to unpacked here.
- 29:24Speaker 3: There is.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Like one in regards to Gina and Shannon stuff. I
- 29:29Speaker 2: get that Gina is pissed at Shannon for her behavior
- 29:32Speaker 2: last year, but I also think of all of the women,
- 29:36Speaker 2: maybe Gina could have the most empathy.
- 29:38Speaker 3: One hundred percent. That's what I was going to say.
- 29:40Speaker 3: You went through this yourself, you know how hard this is.
- 29:42Speaker 3: She shouldn't you know after she gets over the fact
- 29:45Speaker 3: that yes, Shannon said that and offended her, that she
- 29:48Speaker 3: can help Shannon in many ways.
- 29:50Speaker 2: I mean, Gina is California sober, which is does not
- 29:55Speaker 2: mean you're free of any substance.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Correct, I learned. I know what that meant. But I
- 30:01Speaker 3: learned that.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Yeah. So I mean I think that, like you have,
- 30:05Speaker 2: you got to give somebody a little bit of I
- 30:08Speaker 2: don't know if if it's happened to you, like if
- 30:10Speaker 2: I had gotten ad UI. It's like me talking to
- 30:13Speaker 2: somebody that's had a divorce because I've been divorced before.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I have a little bit more empathy towards somebody who's
- 30:19Speaker 2: had one, because I like, it just gives you an
- 30:23Speaker 2: insight that you wouldn't have if you've never had one,
- 30:25Speaker 2: and you've always thought that.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Well, maybe throughout the season they do have that moment.
- 30:29Speaker 3: I would love to see that. I would love for
- 30:30Speaker 3: Gina and Shannon to you know, have that moment or
- 30:33Speaker 3: the differences aside and they're you know, there for each other,
- 30:37Speaker 3: and Gina actually you know, helps her and you know.
- 30:41Speaker 2: I don't know that we should hold our breath for that.
- 30:43Speaker 3: No, I'm a nice I don't even know what I'm doing.
- 30:46Speaker 2: He shows them very thanks they show. They do show
- 30:51Speaker 2: them in the trailer getting along, but I feel like
- 30:53Speaker 2: it might have been like a five second teaser bake out.
- 30:57Speaker 2: But then we do get into something that I think resonated.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Gina and Travis moved into a house together. They have
- 31:05Speaker 2: a shit ton of kids. They moved them all into
- 31:08Speaker 2: the house. There's a million bunk beds that are living together.
- 31:11Speaker 2: And then Gina shares that she is going to have
- 31:13Speaker 2: Travis move out because now the kids are getting older
- 31:16Speaker 2: and they need privacy. And Travis's ex wife, I think
- 31:22Speaker 2: has taken over too much of their space of their relationship.
- 31:29Speaker 2: She feels like it's like a third person in their
- 31:31Speaker 2: relationship because her and her ex husband have figured out
- 31:34Speaker 2: how to co parent, and apparently this woman has not.
- 31:37Speaker 2: What I think in this moment is if we're going
- 31:40Speaker 2: to talk about her, I need her on the show.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I agree, like I need to.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Know what she's doing right, But who do you need?
- 31:50Speaker 3: You need the ex wife?
- 31:51Speaker 2: I need the ex wife. If we're going to talk
- 31:53Speaker 2: about her and how she's causing these problems, then let's
- 31:57Speaker 2: show her. Let's see a little bit of it, because
- 31:59Speaker 2: I think a lot of people would relate to that
- 32:02Speaker 2: and going through that struggle of I mean, if you're
- 32:05Speaker 2: willing to open up and say this about your boyfriend's
- 32:09Speaker 2: kid's mother, then that's shore right.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Well maybe she will, no, maybe she'll she'll be a
- 32:15Speaker 3: part of the show. Maybe she'll want to do that.
- 32:17Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not sure.
- 32:18Speaker 2: How do you feel about jen and Ryan because they
- 32:20Speaker 2: go to Jenner Jenna is finalizing her divorce, but now
- 32:23Speaker 2: her ex hasn't paid his portion of the rent and
- 32:26Speaker 2: she's getting evicted in the house that Gina found her.
- 32:30Speaker 3: My god, this is on one episode.
- 32:32Speaker 2: It was like a lot.
- 32:33Speaker 3: There were so many like different stories going on, and
- 32:36Speaker 3: like a lot. It was like heavy stuff. It was
- 32:38Speaker 3: like wow, Like all.
- 32:39Speaker 2: I kept thinking was a housewife with no house. How dreadful.
- 32:46Speaker 3: But like I don't even understand, Like how do you
- 32:48Speaker 3: not pay for your like for your rent? Even before
- 32:52Speaker 3: you didn't share that on TV, that's like really humiliating.
- 32:55Speaker 3: I mean I would think.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Well, I also was thinking, you're getting paid fifty dollars
- 33:01Speaker 2: a yoga class. Don't you own the studio? Like that's
- 33:06Speaker 2: what she's getting paid to go there? Like she's posting
- 33:09Speaker 2: on hers and listen, this isn't to come at gin,
- 33:12Speaker 2: but she is posting every single time she's going to
- 33:15Speaker 2: teach a class in Orange County, like to put things out.
- 33:18Speaker 3: How many people does she have in her class? I mean,
- 33:20Speaker 3: that's not a lot of money.
- 33:22Speaker 2: But that's why I'm saying that's a shit. That's shit.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Normally in a situation like I, I don't teach fitness
- 33:29Speaker 2: classes or anything like that. But if I do a
- 33:32Speaker 2: charity or something like that, and I say I'm gonna
- 33:34Speaker 2: be in this class, sign up, you know, like there's
- 33:37Speaker 2: it's a big money pot because the person wants to Yeah, get.
- 33:42Speaker 3: The tea, you make her money. It's about volume. You
- 33:45Speaker 3: need to fill up your classes.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yeah. So that that made me worry. But then I
- 33:49Speaker 2: also thought, do you think it's a red flag that
- 33:53Speaker 2: she's moving in with Ryan? I mean his past is
- 33:56Speaker 2: that he's a cheater or whatever it may be. Solely
- 33:58Speaker 2: because she financed, can't do it on her own. Are
- 34:02Speaker 2: you like, oh, he's being a nice guy.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I would like for me, I mean, that should not
- 34:07Speaker 3: be the reason why you move in with a man, ever,
- 34:10Speaker 3: because right there, he he knows that it's about that,
- 34:13Speaker 3: So like the relationship kind of like takes a shift.
- 34:18Speaker 3: So I'm just going to go exactly, I'm just going
- 34:19Speaker 3: to go to your house, and it's just like the
- 34:21Speaker 3: easy way out, and I wouldn't do that. I also
- 34:25Speaker 3: think that somebody has to be because you want establish
- 34:28Speaker 3: a life together, a relationship, you're in love and whatnot,
- 34:30Speaker 3: but definitely not because you need free rent.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's going to be. I feel like, And
- 34:37Speaker 2: now you know, since we've seen they've gotten engaged, he's
- 34:40Speaker 2: gotten allegedly in all this trouble with the stuff with
- 34:43Speaker 2: the Dodger player, the FBI is involved like all of it.
- 34:48Speaker 2: I'm just like, you're getting yourself deeper and deeper immersed
- 34:52Speaker 2: Like now it's no longer just you didn't pay your
- 34:55Speaker 2: rent on the place that Drina found for you. Now
- 34:57Speaker 2: we're into a whole, You're into another web of issues,
- 35:03Speaker 2: which worries me. Then Emily, Heather, and Alexis meet for drinks.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Emily asked Alexis about her ring, and Alexis says it's
- 35:13Speaker 2: a promise ring, not an engagement ring. Then Alexis confronts
- 35:17Speaker 2: Emily about talking shit about John on to teas in
- 35:20Speaker 2: a pod, and Emily said she knows he treated Shannon poorly,
- 35:25Speaker 2: and then Alexis asked Emily if she trust a drunk
- 35:28Speaker 2: woman's opinion. Emily questions why she's defending him after only
- 35:32Speaker 2: dating him for a month. M how do you feel
- 35:35Speaker 2: about promise rings?
- 35:37Speaker 3: First of all, we're adults, you know, and I don't
- 35:40Speaker 3: even think young people do promise rings anymore. A promise
- 35:42Speaker 3: ring is kind of like I promise to never marry you.
- 35:45Speaker 3: That's how I see you, but also marry you.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Remember when we were like in high school and we
- 35:50Speaker 2: would get those rings that it meant like you weren't
- 35:52Speaker 2: going to have sex until like they well, like I
- 35:59Speaker 2: think I got one, Like it's like a chastity ring.
- 36:02Speaker 2: I forget what the called, but they give it to you.
- 36:04Speaker 2: It's like a promise ring and you put it on.
- 36:06Speaker 2: I think mine was like a knockoff David Yeerman and
- 36:09Speaker 2: it met like this, we're together and then when we're
- 36:12Speaker 2: ready to have sex, we're gonna do it. But like
- 36:14Speaker 2: y'all already had sex, what do y'all promise?
- 36:16Speaker 3: And four times a day? So it's like, so no,
- 36:20Speaker 3: I think it's silly. I think it's more for like
- 36:23Speaker 3: publicity and just I just think it's stupid, honestly, between
- 36:27Speaker 3: you and I, it's like, you know what, it's save
- 36:29Speaker 3: the money and get me like a tennis bracelet or
- 36:31Speaker 3: something else, like it could be something else at symbolic.
- 36:33Speaker 3: A piece of jewelry does not have to be a ring.
- 36:36Speaker 3: You could they could be like the people on Love
- 36:38Speaker 3: Is Blind?
- 36:39Speaker 2: And have you seen these little tappers Whenever you're thinking
- 36:41Speaker 2: about the person that you're with, you tap it and
- 36:43Speaker 2: that lights up their arm. I actually google that be
- 36:46Speaker 2: good for my kids, Just give my little tap, little
- 36:49Speaker 2: bus like. But I feel like Alexis is going into
- 36:55Speaker 2: this season and if she does continue to bring up
- 36:59Speaker 2: to teas in a pod, I'm happy for her to
- 37:01Speaker 2: get an orange thank you.
- 37:03Speaker 3: So I was gonna say, maybe that's like what she wants. Well,
- 37:06Speaker 3: I feel like a lot of times when the women
- 37:08Speaker 3: come in as friends and it's the first season, they
- 37:11Speaker 3: really fight for their position.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Especially after being a housewife.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Exactly that is true in her case. I forgot that
- 37:19Speaker 3: she was a housewife, and you know, after so many years,
- 37:21Speaker 3: it's kind of like she's coming back and she needs
- 37:23Speaker 3: to prove herself and there's nothing that's going to stop her,
- 37:26Speaker 3: so there's no consequences. So that's that's what it looks
- 37:30Speaker 3: like she's doing. And then obviously she has John, which
- 37:33Speaker 3: is Shannon's ex boyfriend.
- 37:34Speaker 2: But then Shannon meets with her lawyer, Mike. Shannon was
- 37:37Speaker 2: sentenced to three years of probation. Shan says she's a
- 37:40Speaker 2: hypocrite for always talking about how dumb it is to
- 37:43Speaker 2: get a dui. Then tam and her daughter go to
- 37:57Speaker 2: get tattoos. Sophia has not been on show for eighteen years, yes,
- 38:04Speaker 2: because her father would not allow her to film, and
- 38:08Speaker 2: so it's pretty exciting to see her on And like,
- 38:11Speaker 2: I know Sophia obviously in real life, and she is
- 38:15Speaker 2: like the perfect mix of just like Tamra's spunk, but
- 38:19Speaker 2: also just like having that she's just cool, like I'm
- 38:23Speaker 2: not naturally cool, Like she is just cool. But Tama
- 38:29Speaker 2: wants one one one on her wrist. And then Tamma
- 38:31Speaker 2: gets emotional every time she sees one one one because
- 38:34Speaker 2: she was her other daughter, Sydney would come home. I
- 38:41Speaker 2: love seeing tam get to interact with her kids because
- 38:44Speaker 2: I think so often on the show because the kids
- 38:46Speaker 2: weren't allowed to film.
- 38:48Speaker 3: We didn't get to.
- 38:48Speaker 2: See that side, so I do appreciate that.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Yeah, that was really touching. I love that. No, I
- 38:56Speaker 3: don't have any senses.
- 38:58Speaker 2: You classy, I got a lot. And then on the
- 39:03Speaker 2: way to Heather's lunch, we meet the new housewife, Katie,
- 39:06Speaker 2: who is a friend of Gina's. She was introduced to
- 39:09Speaker 2: Gina Buyston and Katie loves Gina because she has a
- 39:12Speaker 2: zest for life and Gina loves Katie because she's her
- 39:16Speaker 2: age thirty nine.
- 39:18Speaker 3: I feel like that's the number and the requirement to
- 39:21Speaker 3: be a housewife, to be thirty nine. Yeah, I'll like
- 39:24Speaker 3: the new all the new beans that are coming in
- 39:26Speaker 3: that's like their age gruth.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Well, and then Gina wants to live in her youth
- 39:30Speaker 2: a little bit longer. Then I started to like ask
- 39:35Speaker 2: the question, like do we think a thirty nine year
- 39:37Speaker 2: old and a fifty nine year old can be friends?
- 39:40Speaker 3: I think they can for sure, because I have a
- 39:43Speaker 3: lot of thirty something year old friends and forty something.
- 39:46Speaker 3: For me, age is just a number either of It's
- 39:48Speaker 3: just like a friendship with a girl or even like
- 39:51Speaker 3: with men. You know, it depends obviously the amount in
- 39:54Speaker 3: this case we're talking about two girls, and you know,
- 39:57Speaker 3: thirty nine and fifty nine is a twenty year difference.
- 40:00Speaker 3: But I feel like if you have a mom, you
- 40:02Speaker 3: can relate to her, like there's some similarities like that
- 40:04Speaker 3: their mom might have. I think it's actually smart because
- 40:07Speaker 3: the fifte nine year old woman has so much wisdom
- 40:10Speaker 3: and insight, and it's great to have an older friend,
- 40:13Speaker 3: you know, the woman that's thirty nine, and then the
- 40:15Speaker 3: fifty nine year old. He is a thirty nine year
- 40:16Speaker 3: old still full of that energy and kind of like
- 40:19Speaker 3: you live through them and you want to keep up.
- 40:21Speaker 3: You know, Younger people, you know, have more energy and
- 40:24Speaker 3: live their life a little differently. I mean, granted, there's
- 40:26Speaker 3: a lot of thirty nine year olds.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Or I'd say I'm forty three, and I'm not full
- 40:30Speaker 2: of energy and zest for life, just like everybody I am.
- 40:33Speaker 3: And that's why I like young people and I attract
- 40:35Speaker 3: young people because I can identify like I'm more. Really
- 40:38Speaker 3: I relate more to younger people, but then I also
- 40:40Speaker 3: have older friends that I relate to them different things
- 40:43Speaker 3: in like you know, career and life experiences, our children,
- 40:47Speaker 3: you know, like our marriages. I mean so much more,
- 40:50Speaker 3: you know, I feel again, that age is just a number.
- 40:52Speaker 3: There's a lot of thirty nine year old women that
- 40:54Speaker 3: are like older old souls, and there's a lot of
- 40:56Speaker 3: fifteenine year old women that are still super mature that
- 40:58Speaker 3: you can't even have a conversation with.
- 41:00Speaker 2: So I think also it depends where you are in
- 41:02Speaker 2: your life. Like I think it is hard. Like if
- 41:04Speaker 2: I had a newborn baby right now, and I had
- 41:06Speaker 2: a friend and her youngest child is twenty five, and
- 41:10Speaker 2: we're trying to spend days together, that is hard, Like
- 41:14Speaker 2: do you want to come over and hang out with
- 41:15Speaker 2: me and my baby? Like? There are moments in time
- 41:18Speaker 2: that it's hard. But I think there's situational friendships that
- 41:20Speaker 2: you come in and you get closer through time, And
- 41:23Speaker 2: so I think that is fine. But how do we
- 41:25Speaker 2: to really get down to it? What do we think
- 41:27Speaker 2: Katie's going to be like as a housewife?
- 41:30Speaker 3: You know, I really can't tell by the first By
- 41:33Speaker 3: her first season, first episode, you know, I felt like
- 41:36Speaker 3: her story was a little bit lost. Honestly, I don't
- 41:38Speaker 3: really remember her too much because I think that shade
- 41:43Speaker 3: I wasn't being shady. I'm sorry, I'm just being honest.
- 41:47Speaker 2: For me.
- 41:47Speaker 3: For some people shadiness. For me, it's honesty. But I'm
- 41:51Speaker 3: just saying I really don't remember her because I don't think.
- 41:54Speaker 2: She's going to be as a housewife. I don't really
- 41:56Speaker 2: remember her, to.
- 41:56Speaker 3: Be honest, I don't And it's not shady, just saying
- 42:00Speaker 3: the truth because I felt like I was so more
- 42:03Speaker 3: absorbed with like Shannon's story and Gina and even Tamra,
- 42:09Speaker 3: I mean, all the other things that we've been talking about,
- 42:11Speaker 3: and Emily and and Alexis. I feel like for me
- 42:15Speaker 3: it was more of that.
- 42:16Speaker 2: So do you think they needed to bring in somebody
- 42:18Speaker 2: new or they could have just left it without It's
- 42:22Speaker 2: too soon to tell.
- 42:23Speaker 3: You can ask me that after a couple of more episodes,
- 42:26Speaker 3: because so far, like I said, I don't really remember her,
- 42:29Speaker 3: so I don't know how much more involvement she's gonna have.
- 42:32Speaker 3: You know, I always think it's good to bring in
- 42:33Speaker 3: new people into the group and throw them in the
- 42:35Speaker 3: mix and see, you know, because sometimes you know you
- 42:38Speaker 3: need it, and if they don't work out, you just
- 42:40Speaker 3: start phasing them out, and you know the viewers will
- 42:42Speaker 3: see that too, But it's too soon to tell.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Then we get to Heathery's throwing a party at the
- 42:48Speaker 2: Balbeoba Club. Gina tells Shannon she feels uncomfortable for her,
- 42:54Speaker 2: and she says she's grateful she's out of the relationship
- 42:56Speaker 2: with John. And then they get there. Everybody there's a
- 43:01Speaker 2: lot of activities. I gotta be honest, I don't love
- 43:03Speaker 2: a party with a ton of activities. Like I like
- 43:06Speaker 2: a couple so I can dodge out of conversations. I
- 43:09Speaker 2: don't want to have like, oh, it's my turn for
- 43:12Speaker 2: bracelet making, but I don't need like eighty seven, Like
- 43:15Speaker 2: I just need a good drink and like one.
- 43:17Speaker 3: Good human to talk to, like this kind of parties either.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Yeah, But then Shannon arrives and all the girls are like,
- 43:25Speaker 2: I think Shannon looks great. Things are good. But then
- 43:28Speaker 2: all the women I start to wonder where everybody else
- 43:30Speaker 2: is at the party because all of the women are
- 43:32Speaker 2: like at this one window ram together watching the conversation
- 43:37Speaker 2: between Shannon and Alexis.
- 43:39Speaker 3: I just see that it's funny, and they're all like
- 43:41Speaker 3: trying to like look and see and then.
- 43:43Speaker 2: They're like yelling at Emily. They're like, Emily, you're spread eagle.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Everybody gets here, but how did you feel? Because I
- 43:54Speaker 2: really am trying to come into this and not be biased.
- 43:57Speaker 2: What were your thoughts on how Alexis and Shannon both
- 44:01Speaker 2: handled themselves in this conversation.
- 44:06Speaker 3: I mean, I honestly thought that they could have taken
- 44:11Speaker 3: different directions. I thought Shannon was being honest and she
- 44:16Speaker 3: was just you know, opening up to Alexis, and you know,
- 44:19Speaker 3: Alexis was a little rude. I mean, don't you think.
- 44:23Speaker 3: I mean, I like Alexis, but I'm just saying, like
- 44:25Speaker 3: it was just weird the conversation that they've had, you know,
- 44:28Speaker 3: first episode.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Like, I mean, not to piss you off, but if
- 44:32Speaker 2: if you and Todd don't rekindle after this club Sandwich
- 44:36Speaker 2: tag and a year down the road I end up
- 44:40Speaker 2: with Todd, I would handle it with a little bit more.
- 44:46Speaker 3: That's not happening. Why don't we put somebody else as
- 44:48Speaker 3: an example? Because I'm Cuban and I'm very feisty, so
- 44:52Speaker 3: we're not going to do that.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Listen, I'm just saying, hypothetically speaking, I would hand.
- 44:58Speaker 3: Guys that they're not friends. So Alexis and when she
- 45:00Speaker 3: meets John, oh yeah, we we that's different.
- 45:03Speaker 2: We are friends, Okay, So it has to be somebody
- 45:05Speaker 2: else that I don't know.
- 45:06Speaker 3: But regardless, John, don't you think that I never asked
- 45:09Speaker 3: her that. So she told me that when she met
- 45:11Speaker 3: John at the bar she I forgot that she had
- 45:14Speaker 3: been part of the OC cast for many years. So
- 45:17Speaker 3: she's probably still watching, and she's seen John in Shannon's life.
- 45:21Speaker 2: I mean she I think she told us she didn't watch,
- 45:24Speaker 2: but I mean I feel like everybody says that.
- 45:26Speaker 3: Well, but even the thing now, Teddy's even if you
- 45:28Speaker 3: don't watch these shows, you watch social media and you
- 45:31Speaker 3: follow these bloggers and the barber world and whatnot. So
- 45:34Speaker 3: at some point she had to see John and the
- 45:38Speaker 3: mess that Shannon's been in also with him. So so
- 45:41Speaker 3: I don't know that I believe it or not. I
- 45:43Speaker 3: feel like she knew who he was, and he probably
- 45:45Speaker 3: knew who she was as well, because if he likes
- 45:48Speaker 3: all this world, that's why he's with her. Because Amanda
- 45:50Speaker 3: wants nothing to do with this, wouldn't be going on
- 45:52Speaker 3: with Alexus, no.
- 45:54Speaker 2: But also I think maybe where Shannon might have mucked
- 45:58Speaker 2: this up a little bit, and this is coming at Shannon.
- 46:00Speaker 2: This is just I wish she would have led with
- 46:03Speaker 2: John and then brought up Jim Bellino later. But I
- 46:07Speaker 2: think the fact that she was emotional explaining the lawsuit
- 46:11Speaker 2: with Jim Bellino put Alexis on the defense, right, I
- 46:16Speaker 2: wasn't a part of this lawsuit, like blah blah blah.
- 46:18Speaker 2: And then also I Gotana.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Was saying that she was. She's like, I saw your
- 46:22Speaker 3: signature on the papers and you were an Alexis saying
- 46:25Speaker 3: I wasn't because it was after my divorce with John.
- 46:28Speaker 2: So I think the fact that that happened, I don't know,
- 46:33Speaker 2: especially because we're not talking about like a twenty thousand
- 46:36Speaker 2: dollars lawsuit. We're talking about a three hundred thousand and
- 46:38Speaker 2: a five hundred thousand dollars lawsuit. Like these women Tamra
- 46:42Speaker 2: and Shannon allegedly lost a lot of money in this
- 46:47Speaker 2: lawsuit for something they went on a freaking live podcast.
- 46:51Speaker 2: I mean, it's crazy. But then I just felt like
- 46:56Speaker 2: the conversation was off to the races and there was
- 46:58Speaker 2: gonna be no kindness from Alexis to Shannon after that.
- 47:03Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, because she was on the defense, like, I
- 47:04Speaker 2: didn't do it, I know.
- 47:06Speaker 3: But I mean, can you blame Shannon for saying that?
- 47:08Speaker 3: I would have said that too, like our problem is
- 47:11Speaker 3: not only because of John. Our problem is also because
- 47:13Speaker 3: your ex husband, you know, suit us. So I mean
- 47:16Speaker 3: I feel like Shannon had a lot of things to say.
- 47:19Speaker 3: I mean, of course it was to Alexis. Maybe she
- 47:21Speaker 3: would have sent him to Alexis ex husband if you
- 47:23Speaker 3: would have been there, But because you know she's the
- 47:25Speaker 3: ex wife, she was the one that got it. And
- 47:27Speaker 3: again I don't know that she had anything to do
- 47:29Speaker 3: with it. I want to believe Alexis. Alexis says I
- 47:31Speaker 3: had nothing to do with it. It was after he
- 47:32Speaker 3: and I had divorced, and it is what it is.
- 47:35Speaker 3: You know, sometimes your husband's make decisions without counting with you,
- 47:39Speaker 3: And I don't know that she supported that back in
- 47:41Speaker 3: the day. I don't know that.
- 47:43Speaker 2: I don't know either.
- 47:44Speaker 3: But a lot a lot of things going on like
- 47:46Speaker 3: against this woman. I mean first her ex husband Susan,
- 47:49Speaker 3: and then now her ex boyfriend is dating her. I mean,
- 47:52Speaker 3: it's a lot.
- 47:53Speaker 2: With a promise friend. But one thing that I will
- 47:57Speaker 2: say in closing out this episode is, no matter what
- 48:00Speaker 2: side you're on, Shannon going straight up to Alexis episode
- 48:04Speaker 2: one for a direct chat is giving the fans everything
- 48:09Speaker 2: that they want like she could have completely avoided that
