  And
• 1:23
  we
• 1:24
  are
• 1:24
  here
• 1:24
  asking
• 1:24
  this
• 1:25
  question
• 1:25
  today
• 1:25
  as
• 1:25
  part
• 1:26
  of

  where
• 1:28
  if
• 1:28
  you're
• 1:28
  familiar
• 1:29
  with
• 1:29
  any
• 1:29
  of
• 1:29
  the
• 1:30
  what
• 1:30
  if
• 1:30
  comics
• 1:31
  in
• 1:31
  Marvel
• 1:31
  or
• 1:32
  the
• 1:32
  what
• 1:33
  if
• 1:33
  TV
• 1:33
  series,
• 1:34
  we
• 1:34
  kind
• 1:34
  of
• 1:34
  do
• 1:34
  that,
• 1:35
  but
• 1:35
  for
• 1:35
  a
• 1:35
  range
• 1:36
  of
• 1:36
  geek
• 1:37
  topics,
• 1:37
  this
• 1:37
  one
• 1:38
  happens
• 1:38
  to
• 1:38
  be
• 1:38
  Marvel
• 1:39
  oriented.
• 1:39
  So
• 1:40
  I
• 1:40
  am
• 1:41
  one
• 1:41
  of
• 1:41
  your
• 1:41
  geekologists,
• 1:42
  Kevin
• 1:42
  Schaefer,
• 1:43
  and
• 1:43
  I
• 1:43
  am
• 1:43
  here
• 1:44
  with
• 1:44
  fellow
• 1:45

  Matthews.
• 1:47
  Alex,
• 1:47
  I'm
• 1:47
  very
• 1:47
  excited
• 1:48
  recording
• 1:48
  with
• 1:48
  you
• 1:48
  today.
• 1:49
  I'm
• 1:49
  so
• 1:49
  excited
• 1:50
  as
• 1:50
  well.
• 1:50
  This
• 1:50
  is
• 1:50
  going
• 1:50
  to
• 1:50
  be
• 1:51
  great.
• 1:52
  Oh,
• 1:52
  this
• 1:53
  is
• 1:53
  great.
• 1:53
  This
• 1:53
  is
• 1:54
  actually
• 1:54
  our
• 1:54
  first
• 1:55
  time
• 1:55
  recording
• 1:55
  together,
• 1:56
  so
• 1:56
  this
• 1:57
  will
• 1:57
  be
• 1:57
  a
• 1:57
  lot
• 1:57
  of
• 1:57
  fun.
• 1:58
  And
• 1:59
  Alex,
• 1:59
  I
• 1:59
  know
• 2:00
  you
• 2:00
  know
• 2:00
  some
• 2:00
  of
• 2:01
  your
• 2:01
  interest,
• 2:01
  but
• 2:02
  I'm
• 2:02
  excited
• 2:03
  to
• 2:03
  get
• 2:03
  to
• 2:04
  know
• 2:04
  more
• 2:05
  about,
• 2:05
  you
• 2:05
  know,
• 2:05
  what
• 2:06
  you're
• 2:06
  geeking
• 2:06
  out
• 2:06
  on
• 2:07
  and
• 2:08
  talk
• 2:08
  all
• 2:08
  things
• 2:09
  Marvel.
• 2:09
  So
• 2:10
  this
• 2:10
  will
• 2:10
  be
• 2:10
  really
• 2:10
  great.
• 2:11
  But.
• 2:11
  And
• 2:12
  before
• 2:12
  we
• 2:12
  get
• 2:12
  started,
• 2:12
  if
• 2:13
  you're
• 2:13
  listening,
• 2:14
  please
• 2:15
  like,
• 2:15
  rate
• 2:15
  review.
• 2:16
  I
• 2:16
  know
• 2:16
  every
• 2:16
  podcast
• 2:17
  says
• 2:17
  it,
• 2:17
  but
• 2:17
  it
• 2:17
  really
• 2:17
  does
• 2:18
  help
• 2:18
  our
• 2:18
  show.
• 2:19
  We
• 2:19
  are
• 2:20
  also
• 2:20
  on
• 2:20
  YouTube
• 2:21
  and
• 2:21
  then
• 2:21
  all
• 2:22
  over
• 2:22
  our.
• 2:23
  Any
• 2:23
  podcast
• 2:24
  platform
• 2:24
  that
• 2:24
  you
• 2:24
  prefer.
• 2:25
  So
• 2:25
  go
• 2:26
  check
• 2:26
  us
• 2:26
  out.
• 2:26
  You

  So,
• 2:32
  you
• 2:32
  know,
• 2:32
  any
• 2:32
  kind
• 2:33
  of
• 2:33
  help,
• 2:34
  help
• 2:34
  there
• 2:34
  is
• 2:34
  greatly
• 2:35
  appreciated.
• 2:36
  Well,
• 2:36
  Alex,
• 2:36
  before
• 2:37
  we
• 2:37
  get
• 2:37
  into
• 2:37
  the
• 2:37
  main
• 2:38
  topic
• 2:38
  today,
• 2:39
  what
• 2:39
  are
• 2:39
  some
• 2:39
  things
• 2:40
  you've
• 2:40
  been
• 2:40
  geeking
• 2:40
  out
• 2:41
  on
• 2:41
  lately?
• 2:42
  Lately,
• 2:42
  I've
• 2:43
  been
• 2:43
  geeking
• 2:43
  out
• 2:44
  on
• 2:44
  the
• 2:45
  Pit.
• 2:46
  Yeah,
• 2:46
  great
• 2:47
  job.
• 2:47
  That
• 2:47
  show
• 2:47
  is
• 2:48
  so
• 2:48
  good.
• 2:49
  But,
• 2:49
  yeah,
• 2:49
  that's
• 2:50
  what
• 2:50
  I've
• 2:50
  been
• 2:50
  geeking
• 2:50
  out
• 2:50
  on.
• 2:51
  What
• 2:51
  about
• 2:52
  you?
• 2:52
  It's
• 2:52
  real.
• 2:53
  It's
• 2:53
  really
• 2:53
  funny
• 2:53
  because
• 2:54
  so
• 2:54
  I
• 2:54
  watched
• 2:55
  that
• 2:55
  back
• 2:56
  in,
• 2:56
  like,
• 2:56
  I
• 2:56
  think
• 2:57
  it
• 2:57
  was
• 2:57
  July
• 2:57
  or
• 2:58
  August,
• 2:58
  like
• 2:58
  after
• 2:59
  the,
• 2:59
  you
• 2:59
  know,
• 2:59
  the
• 2:59
  hype
• 2:59
  was
• 3:00
  inescapable
• 3:01
  and
• 3:01
  I,
• 3:02
  you
• 3:02
  know,
• 3:02
  I,
• 3:03
  it
• 3:03
  was
• 3:03
  funny
• 3:03
  because
• 3:04
  I
• 3:04
  had
• 3:04
  never
• 3:04
  really
• 3:04
  watched
• 3:05
  a
• 3:05
  medical
• 3:05
  drama
• 3:06
  before
• 3:07
  as
• 3:07
  popular
• 3:07
  as
• 3:08
  they
• 3:08
  are.
• 3:08
  But,
• 3:08
  like,
• 3:09
  I
• 3:09
  just
• 3:09
  heard
• 3:10
  so
• 3:10
  much
• 3:10
  hype
• 3:10
  about
• 3:10
  it
• 3:10
  and
• 3:11
  I
• 3:11
  love
• 3:11
  Noah
• 3:11
  Wiley
• 3:12
  and
• 3:12
  so
• 3:12
  I
• 3:13
  binged
• 3:13
  that
• 3:13
  in
• 3:13
  like
• 3:14
  a
• 3:14
  week.
• 3:14
  It
• 3:14
  was
• 3:14
  just
• 3:14
  so.
• 3:15
  It
• 3:15
  was
• 3:15
  so
• 3:16
  captivating.
• 3:16
  And
• 3:17
  even
• 3:17
  though
• 3:17
  it's
• 3:18
  not
• 3:18
  like
• 3:19
  a
• 3:19
  comfort
• 3:19
  show,
• 3:20
  I
• 3:20
  still
• 3:21
  could
• 3:21
  not
• 3:21
  turn
• 3:21
  it
• 3:21
  off.
• 3:22
  It
• 3:22
  was
• 3:22
  just.
• 3:22
  It
• 3:22
  sucked
• 3:23
  me
• 3:23
  in
• 3:23
  completely.
• 3:23
  But
• 3:24
  yeah,
• 3:24
  yeah,
• 3:25
  it's
• 3:26
  so
• 3:26
  good.
• 3:26
  Like,
• 3:26
  it's
• 3:27
  crazy
• 3:27
  how,
• 3:27
  like,
• 3:27
  each
• 3:27
  episode
• 3:28
  is
• 3:28
  just
• 3:28
  an
• 3:29
  hour
• 3:30
  in
• 3:30
  the
• 3:30
  shift
• 3:31
  too.
• 3:31
  Like,
• 3:31
  yeah,
• 3:32
  there's
• 3:32
  so
• 3:32
  much
• 3:32
  that
• 3:33
  goes
• 3:33
  on
• 3:33
  in
• 3:33
  that
• 3:34
  er.
• 3:34
  Like,
• 3:36
  yeah,
• 3:37
  I
• 3:37
  was
• 3:37
  impressed.
• 3:38
  Oh,
• 3:38
  it's
• 3:38
  awesome.
• 3:39
  It's
• 3:39
  awesome.
• 3:39
  And
• 3:39
  I
• 3:39
  mean,
• 3:40
  I
• 3:40
  know
• 3:40
  they
• 3:40
  have
• 3:40
  to
• 3:40
  take
• 3:40
  like
• 3:41
  some
• 3:41
  creative
• 3:42
  liberties
• 3:42
  because,
• 3:42
  like,
• 3:42
  I
• 3:43
  have
• 3:44
  there's
• 3:44
  like,
• 3:44
  some
• 3:45
  of
• 3:45
  my
• 3:45
  former
• 3:45
  caregivers
• 3:46
  are
• 3:46
  nurses
• 3:46
  and,
• 3:47
  you
• 3:47
  know.
• 3:48
  But
• 3:48
  the
• 3:48
  cool
• 3:49
  thing
• 3:49
  about
• 3:49
  that
• 3:49
  show
• 3:49
  is,
• 3:50
  like,
• 3:50
  every
• 3:51
  scenario
• 3:52
  that
• 3:52
  happens
• 3:52
  is
• 3:53
  very
• 3:53
  realistic
• 3:54
  and
• 3:54
  very
• 3:54
  plausible.
• 3:54
  It's
• 3:54
  just
• 3:55
  like
• 3:55
  for
• 3:55
  the
• 3:55
  purposes
• 3:56
  of
• 3:56
  tv,
• 3:56
  they
• 3:56
  have
• 3:56
  it
• 3:57
  kind
• 3:57
  of
• 3:57
  all
• 3:57
  happen
• 3:58
  in
• 3:58
  the
• 3:58
  same
• 3:58
  shift,
• 3:59
  which
• 3:59
  is
• 3:59
  like
• 4:00
  the
• 4:00
  likelihood
• 4:00
  there
• 4:01
  is
• 4:01
  like,
• 4:01
  less
• 4:02
  so.
• 4:02
  But
• 4:02
  it
• 4:03
  works
• 4:03
  for,
• 4:04
  you
• 4:04
  know,
• 4:04
  the
• 4:04
  nuances
• 4:05
  of
• 4:05
  TV
• 4:05
  drama.
• 4:06
  But
• 4:06
  it's
• 4:06
  just
• 4:07
  excellent
• 4:07
  storytelling
• 4:08
  all
• 4:08
  around.
• 4:08
  Oh,
• 4:08
  yeah.
• 4:08
  Great
• 4:09
  show.
• 4:09
  Yeah.
• 4:09
  Oh,
• 4:09
  yeah,
• 4:10
  absolutely.
• 4:11
  Well,
• 4:12
  I.
• 4:12
  I
• 4:12
  have
• 4:13
  several
• 4:13
  things
• 4:13
  on
• 4:14
  mind.
• 4:14
  I've
• 4:14
  been
• 4:14
  watching
• 4:15
  a
• 4:15
  lot
• 4:15
  lately.
• 4:17
  The
• 4:17
  first
• 4:17
  is
• 4:18
  it
• 4:18
  welcome
• 4:19
  to
• 4:19
  Derry,
• 4:19
  which
• 4:20
  is
• 4:20
  like,
• 4:20
  I
• 4:20
  don't
• 4:21
  know,
• 4:21
  are
• 4:21
  you
• 4:21
  like
• 4:22
  a
• 4:22
  horror
• 4:22
  or
• 4:22
  Stephen
• 4:23
  King
• 4:23
  fan
• 4:23
  at
• 4:23
  all?
• 4:24
  Yeah,
• 4:24
  there's
• 4:24
  a
• 4:24
  lot.
• 4:25
  There's
• 4:25
  a.
• 4:25
  Todd.
• 4:25
  This
• 4:25
  is
• 4:25
  a
• 4:26
  huge
• 4:26
  year
• 4:26
  for
• 4:26
  Stephen
• 4:26
  K.
• 4:27
  Adaptations,
• 4:27
  but.
• 4:28
  But
• 4:28
  this
• 4:28
  is
• 4:28
  the
• 4:29
  new
• 4:29
  prequel
• 4:30
  series
• 4:30
  to
• 4:31
  it.
• 4:31
  So
• 4:31
  it's
• 4:32
  set
• 4:32
  the.
• 4:32
  This
• 4:33
  season
• 4:33
  is
• 4:33
  set
• 4:34
  27
• 4:34
  years
• 4:34
  before
• 4:35
  the
• 4:35
  events
• 4:35
  of
• 4:36
  the
• 4:36
  first
• 4:36
  movie.
• 4:36
  And.
• 4:38
  And
• 4:38
  so.
• 4:38
  Yeah.
• 4:39
  And
• 4:39
  so
• 4:39
  it's
• 4:39
  like.
• 4:40
  And
• 4:40
  then
• 4:41
  the
• 4:41
  way
• 4:42
  they're
• 4:42
  kind
• 4:42
  of
• 4:42
  planning
• 4:42
  it
• 4:43
  is
• 4:43
  they're
• 4:44
  Gonna
• 4:44
  go
• 4:44
  back
• 4:45
  27
• 4:45
  years
• 4:45
  each
• 4:46
  season
• 4:46
  if
• 4:46
  it
• 4:46
  goes
• 4:47
  on
• 4:47
  long
• 4:48
  enough.
• 4:48
  And
• 4:48
  so
• 4:48
  they're
• 4:49
  exploring
• 4:50
  more
• 4:50
  of
• 4:50
  the
• 4:50
  lore
• 4:51
  surrounding
• 4:52
  not
• 4:52
  just
• 4:52
  Pennywise,
• 4:53
  but
• 4:54
  like,
• 4:54
  especially
• 4:54
  this
• 4:55
  show
• 4:55
  is
• 4:55
  very
• 4:56
  much
• 4:56
  a
• 4:57
  Stephen
• 4:57
  King
• 4:57
  universe
• 4:58
  as
• 4:58
  a
• 4:58
  whole.
• 4:58
  Kind
• 4:59
  of
• 4:59
  like
• 4:59
  it
• 4:59
  really
• 5:00
  gets
• 5:00
  into
• 5:01
  the
• 5:01
  mythology.
• 5:01
  And
• 5:02
  one
• 5:02
  of
• 5:02
  the
• 5:02
  main
• 5:03
  characters
• 5:03
  is
• 5:04
  younger
• 5:05
  Dick
• 5:05
  Halloran
• 5:06
  from
• 5:06
  the
• 5:07
  Shining
• 5:07
  and
• 5:07
  doctor
• 5:08
  Sleep,
• 5:08
  and
• 5:09
  he's
• 5:09
  referenced
• 5:10
  in
• 5:10
  other
• 5:10
  theme
• 5:10
  King
• 5:10
  books.
• 5:11
  So
• 5:11
  like,
• 5:11
  they
• 5:11
  incorporate
• 5:12
  him
• 5:12
  here.
• 5:13
  They
• 5:13
  also
• 5:13
  have
• 5:14
  like
• 5:15
  Mike
• 5:15
  from
• 5:16
  the
• 5:16
  IT
• 5:16
  novel
• 5:17
  and
• 5:17
  the
• 5:17
  movies.
• 5:17
  Like
• 5:18
  his
• 5:18
  grandfather
• 5:19
  is
• 5:19
  one
• 5:19
  of
• 5:19
  the
• 5:19
  main
• 5:19
  characters
• 5:20
  here.
• 5:21
  But
• 5:21
  yeah,
• 5:21
  it's.
• 5:22
  Yeah,
• 5:22
  it's
• 5:22
  a
• 5:22
  really
• 5:23
  entertaining
• 5:24
  show.
• 5:24
  I'm
• 5:24
  kind
• 5:24
  of
• 5:24
  wondering
• 5:25
  where
• 5:26
  exactly
• 5:26
  it's
• 5:26
  headed
• 5:27
  because
• 5:27
  there
• 5:27
  are
• 5:28
  a
• 5:28
  lot
• 5:28
  of
• 5:28
  converging
• 5:29
  storylines
• 5:29
  and
• 5:30
  it
• 5:30
  has
• 5:30
  a
• 5:30
  lot
• 5:30
  of
• 5:31
  moving
• 5:31
  parts
• 5:31
  to
• 5:31
  it,
• 5:32
  but
• 5:32
  it's
• 5:32
  very
• 5:33
  entertaining.
• 5:33
  I
• 5:33
  mean,
• 5:33
  it
• 5:34
  comes
• 5:34
  from
• 5:34
  Andy
• 5:35
  and
• 5:35
  Barbara
• 5:35
  Machete,
• 5:36
  who
• 5:36
  are
• 5:36
  the
• 5:36
  creators
• 5:37
  of
• 5:37
  the
• 5:37
  IT
• 5:37
  movies,
• 5:39
  like
• 5:39
  the
• 5:39
  most
• 5:39
  recent
• 5:40
  ones,
• 5:41
  and
• 5:41
  they
• 5:41
  all.
• 5:41
  And
• 5:42
  Jason
• 5:42
  Fuchs
• 5:42
  as
• 5:43
  well.
• 5:44
  So
• 5:44
  it's.
• 5:45
  Yeah,
• 5:46
  no,
• 5:46
  it's
• 5:46
  really
• 5:47
  entertaining.
• 5:47
  It's
• 5:47
  got
• 5:47
  some
• 5:47
  great
• 5:48
  horror
• 5:48
  sequences.
• 5:49
  I
• 5:49
  like
• 5:50
  that
• 5:50
  each
• 5:50
  episode
• 5:50
  is
• 5:51
  a
• 5:51
  full
• 5:51
  hour,
• 5:51
  so
• 5:51
  you
• 5:52
  really
• 5:52
  get
• 5:53
  time
• 5:53
  to
• 5:53
  spend
• 5:54
  here.
• 5:54
  And
• 5:55
  it
• 5:55
  makes
• 5:55
  the
• 5:55
  budget
• 5:56
  worth
• 5:56
  it
• 5:56
  too,
• 5:56
  because,
• 5:56
  like,
• 5:57
  that
• 5:57
  annoys
• 5:58
  me
• 5:58
  too
• 5:58
  when
• 5:58
  they
• 5:58
  have
• 5:59
  like
• 5:59
  these
• 5:59
  cute
• 6:00
  massive
• 6:00
  budget
• 6:00
  series
• 6:01
  and
• 6:01
  it's
• 6:01
  only
• 6:01
  like
• 6:02
  30
• 6:02
  or
• 6:02
  40
• 6:02
  minute
• 6:03
  episodes.
• 6:03
  So
• 6:04
  here
• 6:04
  you
• 6:04
  get,
• 6:05
  you
• 6:05
  know,
• 6:05
  full
• 6:06
  hour
• 6:06
  long
• 6:07
  episodes
• 6:08
  here.
• 6:09
  So
• 6:09
  I'm
• 6:09
  enjoying
• 6:09
  that
• 6:10
  a
• 6:10
  lot.
• 6:10
  Are
• 6:10
  you.
• 6:12
  Getting
• 6:13
  stuff
• 6:13
  like.
• 6:13
  Are
• 6:13
  you
• 6:13
  a
• 6:13
  fan
• 6:13
  of
• 6:13
  the
• 6:14
  IT
• 6:14
  movies?
• 6:15
  Yeah,
• 6:15
  I've
• 6:15
  seen.
• 6:17
  I
• 6:17
  seen
• 6:17
  the
• 6:17
  first
• 6:17
  two
• 6:17
  that
• 6:18
  came
• 6:18
  out.
• 6:18
  Yeah.
• 6:19
  But
• 6:19
  I
• 6:19
  didn't
• 6:19
  know
• 6:20
  that
• 6:20
  they
• 6:20
  were
• 6:20
  doing
• 6:21
  a
• 6:21
  series,
• 6:22
  a
• 6:22
  prequel
• 6:23
  thing.
• 6:23
  It's
• 6:23
  really,
• 6:24
  it's
• 6:24
  really
• 6:25
  cool.
• 6:25
  I
• 6:25
  mean
• 6:25
  I.
• 6:25
  Part
• 6:26
  of
• 6:26
  it
• 6:26
  I
• 6:26
  think
• 6:26
  is
• 6:27
  like
• 6:27
  HBO's
• 6:28
  direction
• 6:28
  right
• 6:28
  now
• 6:29
  of
• 6:29
  being
• 6:30
  very
• 6:30
  IP
• 6:31
  heavy
• 6:31
  on
• 6:32
  thought.
• 6:32
  You
• 6:32
  know,
• 6:32
  they're,
• 6:33
  they're
• 6:33
  invested.
• 6:34
  I
• 6:34
  mean
• 6:34
  there's
• 6:34
  like
• 6:34
  the
• 6:34
  Harry
• 6:35
  Potter
• 6:35
  series
• 6:35
  and
• 6:36
  then
• 6:36
  this.
• 6:37
  Of
• 6:37
  course
• 6:37
  all
• 6:37
  dc,
• 6:39
  but.
• 6:40
  But
• 6:40
  this
• 6:40
  one,
• 6:41
  like
• 6:41
  it's
• 6:41
  still.
• 6:41
  I
• 6:42
  like
• 6:42
  that
• 6:42
  it
• 6:42
  has
• 6:42
  the
• 6:42
  same
• 6:43
  creative
• 6:43
  team
• 6:44
  as
• 6:44
  the
• 6:44
  movie,
• 6:45
  so
• 6:45
  it
• 6:45
  feels
• 6:45
  very
• 6:45
  much
• 6:46
  in
• 6:46
  the
• 6:46
  same
• 6:46
  universe.
• 6:47
  But
• 6:47
  yeah,
• 6:48
  I'm
• 6:48
  enjoying
• 6:48
  it
• 6:48
  so
• 6:48
  far.
• 6:48
  It's
• 6:49
  definitely
• 6:49
  worth
• 6:49
  checking
• 6:50
  out
• 6:50
  if
• 6:50
  you're
• 6:50
  a
• 6:50
  fan.
• 6:51
  So
• 6:51
  I'm
• 6:52
  watching
• 6:52
  that.
• 6:53
  Also
• 6:53
  speaking
• 6:54
  of
• 6:54
  Stephen
• 6:54
  King,
• 6:55
  I
• 6:55
  saw
• 6:55
  the
• 6:55
  Running
• 6:56
  man
• 6:56
  the
• 6:56
  other
• 6:56
  night,
• 6:57
  which
• 6:57
  I
• 6:57
  feel
• 6:57
  like.
• 6:58
  I
• 6:58
  know
• 6:58
  I'm
• 6:58
  doing
• 6:58
  quick
• 6:59
  hits
• 6:59
  on
• 6:59
  these,
• 6:59
  but
• 7:00
  I
• 7:00
  really
• 7:01
  liked
• 7:01
  it
• 7:01
  actually.
• 7:02
  So
• 7:02
  it's
• 7:02
  getting
• 7:03
  a
• 7:03
  lot
• 7:03
  of
• 7:03
  negative
• 7:03
  reviews.
• 7:04
  So
• 7:05
  did
• 7:05
  you
• 7:05
  read
• 7:05
  either
• 7:06
  the
• 7:06
  novel
• 7:06
  or
• 7:06
  see
• 7:07
  the
• 7:07
  80s
• 7:07
  movie?
• 7:08
  No,
• 7:09
  I
• 7:09
  have
• 7:09
  not.
• 7:09
  I
• 7:09
  haven't
• 7:10
  seen
• 7:10
  anything
• 7:10
  about
• 7:11
  it.
• 7:12
  So
• 7:12
  like
• 7:12
  I
• 7:13
  only
• 7:13
  did
• 7:14
  both
• 7:14
  recently.
• 7:14
  It's
• 7:15
  not
• 7:15
  one
• 7:15
  like
• 7:16
  of
• 7:16
  the
• 7:16
  Stephen
• 7:16
  King
• 7:17
  properties
• 7:17
  I
• 7:17
  had
• 7:18
  really
• 7:18
  any
• 7:18
  familiarity
• 7:19
  with
• 7:19
  before
• 7:20
  they
• 7:21
  started
• 7:21
  the
• 7:21
  trailers
• 7:22
  for
• 7:22
  this
• 7:22
  movie.
• 7:22
  Because
• 7:23
  the
• 7:23
  reason
• 7:23
  I
• 7:23
  was
• 7:23
  so
• 7:24
  excited
• 7:24
  for
• 7:24
  this
• 7:24
  one
• 7:25
  is
• 7:25
  because
• 7:25
  it's
• 7:26
  Edgar
• 7:26
  Wright
• 7:26
  directed
• 7:27
  and
• 7:27
  Edgar
• 7:27
  Wright
• 7:28
  is
• 7:28
  one
• 7:28
  of
• 7:28
  my
• 7:28
  all
• 7:28
  time
• 7:28
  favorite
• 7:29
  filmmakers
• 7:29
  behind
• 7:30
  Shot
• 7:30
  of
• 7:30
  the
• 7:30
  Dead
• 7:31
  and
• 7:31
  Hot
• 7:31
  Fuzz
• 7:31
  and
• 7:32
  Scott
• 7:32
  Pilgrim.
• 7:32
  So
• 7:33
  I
• 7:33
  was
• 7:33
  really
• 7:33
  excited
• 7:33
  for
• 7:33
  that.
• 7:33
  But
• 7:34
  I
• 7:34
  only
• 7:34
  read
• 7:34
  the
• 7:35
  novel
• 7:35
  and
• 7:36
  saw
• 7:36
  the
• 7:36
  80s
• 7:36
  movie
• 7:38
  just
• 7:38
  before
• 7:38
  seeing
• 7:39
  this.
• 7:39
  And
• 7:39
  so
• 7:40
  I
• 7:40
  came
• 7:40
  in
• 7:40
  pretty
• 7:41
  fresh.
• 7:41
  But
• 7:41
  also,
• 7:42
  you
• 7:42
  know,
• 7:43
  I
• 7:43
  was
• 7:43
  able
• 7:44
  to
• 7:45
  tackle
• 7:45
  both
• 7:45
  of
• 7:45
  those
• 7:46
  and
• 7:46
  come
• 7:46
  into
• 7:47
  this
• 7:47
  movie
• 7:47
  and
• 7:47
  see
• 7:48
  both
• 7:48
  like
• 7:48
  the
• 7:48
  similarities
• 7:49
  and
• 7:49
  differences
• 7:50
  because
• 7:50
  like
• 7:50
  this
• 7:51
  one
• 7:51
  is
• 7:51
  a
• 7:52
  much
• 7:52
  more
• 7:52
  faithful
• 7:53
  adaptation
• 7:53
  of
• 7:53
  the
• 7:54
  novel
• 7:54
  than
• 7:54
  the
• 7:54
  80s
• 7:55
  movie.
• 7:55
  The
• 7:55
  80s
• 7:56
  movie
• 7:56
  with
• 7:56
  Schwarzenegger
• 7:57
  is
• 7:57
  a
• 7:57
  lot
• 7:57
  of
• 7:57
  fun,
• 7:57
  but
• 7:58
  it's
• 7:58
  like
• 7:58
  very
• 7:59
  80s
• 8:00
  campy
• 8:00
  action
• 8:00
  movie
• 8:01
  that
• 8:01
  doesn't
• 8:02
  really
• 8:02
  have
• 8:02
  that
• 8:03
  much
• 8:03
  in
• 8:03
  common
• 8:03
  with
• 8:03
  the
• 8:04
  novel
• 8:05
  other
• 8:05
  than
• 8:05
  sort
• 8:05
  of
• 8:05
  the
• 8:06
  initial
• 8:06
  premise.
• 8:07
  But
• 8:07
  even
• 8:07
  then
• 8:07
  it's
• 8:08
  kind
• 8:08
  of
• 8:08
  goes
• 8:08
  in
• 8:08
  a
• 8:08
  different
• 8:09
  direction.
• 8:09
  So
• 8:10
  this
• 8:10
  one,
• 8:10
  you
• 8:11
  know,
• 8:11
  it's
• 8:12
  about
• 8:12
  a
• 8:13
  guy
• 8:13
  who
• 8:14
  in
• 8:14
  this
• 8:14
  dystopian
• 8:15
  sci
• 8:16
  fi
• 8:16
  world
• 8:16
  where,
• 8:17
  you
• 8:17
  know,
• 8:18
  media
• 8:18
  is
• 8:18
  controlled
• 8:19
  by
• 8:20
  the
• 8:20
  government
• 8:20
  and
• 8:21
  the
• 8:22
  poor
• 8:22
  are
• 8:23
  very
• 8:23
  oppressed,
• 8:24
  this
• 8:24
  guy
• 8:25
  joins
• 8:26
  one
• 8:26
  of
• 8:26
  the
• 8:26
  big
• 8:27
  goes
• 8:27
  to
• 8:27
  compete
• 8:28
  on
• 8:28
  the
• 8:28
  biggest
• 8:28
  gaming
• 8:29
  show
• 8:29
  game
• 8:30
  show
• 8:30
  on
• 8:30
  earth
• 8:31
  to
• 8:31
  get
• 8:32
  money
• 8:32
  to
• 8:33
  mainly
• 8:33
  because
• 8:34
  his
• 8:34
  daughter
• 8:34
  is
• 8:34
  sick.
• 8:35
  So
• 8:35
  he's
• 8:35
  trying
• 8:35
  to
• 8:36
  provide
• 8:36
  for
• 8:36
  them
• 8:36
  and
• 8:37
  he's
• 8:37
  desperate
• 8:37
  and
• 8:37
  so
• 8:38
  he
• 8:38
  competes
• 8:38
  on
• 8:39
  the
• 8:39
  Running
• 8:39
  man,
• 8:39
  which
• 8:41
  in
• 8:41
  the
• 8:41
  movie
• 8:42
  and
• 8:42
  in
• 8:42
  the
• 8:42
  novel
• 8:43
  the
• 8:43
  contestants
• 8:44
  have
• 8:44
  to
• 8:45
  survive
• 8:46
  30
• 8:46
  days
• 8:46
  on
• 8:47
  this
• 8:47
  epic
• 8:47
  manhunt
• 8:48
  where
• 8:49
  everyone
• 8:49
  is
• 8:49
  hunting
• 8:50
  them
• 8:50
  down,
• 8:50
  their
• 8:50
  identities
• 8:51
  are
• 8:51
  out
• 8:51
  there,
• 8:52
  and
• 8:52
  they
• 8:52
  just
• 8:52
  have
• 8:53
  to
• 8:53
  survive.
• 8:53
  And
• 8:53
  it's
• 8:53
  sort
• 8:54
  of
• 8:54
  an
• 8:54
  unwinnable
• 8:55
  game.
• 8:55
  But
• 8:56
  it's
• 8:56
  interesting.
• 8:57
  Like,
• 8:57
  I'll
• 8:57
  talk
• 8:57
  about
• 8:58
  it
• 8:58
  more
• 8:58
  probably
• 8:58
  on
• 8:59
  a
• 8:59
  what's
• 8:59
  News
• 8:59
  episode,
• 9:00
  because
• 9:00
  I
• 9:00
  know,
• 9:01
  like,
• 9:01
  Andy
• 9:02
  and
• 9:02
  several
• 9:02
  others
• 9:02
  are
• 9:02
  big
• 9:03
  Edgar
• 9:03
  Wright
• 9:03
  fans
• 9:03
  as
• 9:04
  well,
• 9:04
  so
• 9:04
  I
• 9:04
  know
• 9:04
  we'll
• 9:04
  have
• 9:05
  a
• 9:05
  lot
• 9:05
  to
• 9:05
  talk
• 9:05
  about.
• 9:05
  But
• 9:06
  just
• 9:06
  my
• 9:06
  quick
• 9:07
  thoughts
• 9:07
  on
• 9:07
  it.
• 9:07
  I.
• 9:08
  I
• 9:08
  did
• 9:08
  like
• 9:08
  the
• 9:08
  movie.
• 9:09
  It.
• 9:09
  Like
• 9:10
  I
• 9:10
  said,
• 9:10
  it
• 9:10
  was
• 9:10
  more
• 9:10
  faithful
• 9:11
  to
• 9:11
  the
• 9:11
  novel.
• 9:12
  The
• 9:12
  ending
• 9:13
  is
• 9:13
  where
• 9:13
  it
• 9:13
  mainly
• 9:14
  diverges.
• 9:15
  But,
• 9:16
  you
• 9:16
  know,
• 9:16
  I.
• 9:16
  A
• 9:16
  lot
• 9:17
  of
• 9:17
  the
• 9:17
  criticism
• 9:17
  said
• 9:18
  that
• 9:18
  it
• 9:18
  didn't
• 9:19
  feel
• 9:19
  as
• 9:19
  much
• 9:19
  like
• 9:19
  an
• 9:20
  Edgar
• 9:20
  Wright
• 9:20
  movie.
• 9:20
  And
• 9:21
  I
• 9:21
  disagree.
• 9:21
  I
• 9:22
  thought
• 9:22
  a
• 9:22
  lot
• 9:22
  of
• 9:22
  the
• 9:22
  action,
• 9:23
  the
• 9:23
  humor
• 9:23
  was
• 9:23
  still
• 9:24
  there.
• 9:24
  Not
• 9:25
  as
• 9:25
  much
• 9:25
  humor
• 9:26
  as,
• 9:26
  like,
• 9:26
  the
• 9:26
  Cornetto
• 9:27
  trilogy
• 9:27
  or
• 9:27
  Scott
• 9:27
  Pilgrim,
• 9:28
  but.
• 9:28
  But
• 9:29
  it
• 9:29
  was
• 9:29
  still
• 9:29
  very
• 9:29
  much
• 9:30
  his
• 9:30
  DNA
• 9:31
  in
• 9:31
  the
• 9:31
  film.
• 9:32
  Not,
• 9:32
  you
• 9:32
  know,
• 9:33
  anyone
• 9:33
  near
• 9:33
  his
• 9:33
  best.
• 9:34
  But
• 9:34
  I
• 9:34
  did
• 9:34
  enjoy
• 9:34
  it,
• 9:35
  so
• 9:35
  I'll
• 9:35
  probably
• 9:36
  talk
• 9:36
  about
• 9:36
  it
• 9:36
  more.
• 9:36
  But
• 9:37
  I
• 9:37
  recommend
• 9:37
  going
• 9:38
  seeing
• 9:38
  it.
• 9:38
  And,
• 9:38
  I
• 9:38
  mean,
• 9:38
  Glenn
• 9:39
  Powell,
• 9:39
  I
• 9:39
  thought
• 9:39
  was
• 9:39
  great
• 9:40
  for
• 9:40
  the
• 9:40
  role.
• 9:41
  It's
• 9:41
  a
• 9:41
  lot
• 9:41
  of
• 9:42
  fun.
• 9:42
  I
• 9:42
  mean,
• 9:42
  well,
• 9:43
  I
• 9:43
  say
• 9:43
  fun
• 9:43
  in
• 9:43
  this
• 9:44
  dystopian
• 9:44
  world.
• 9:45
  Like,
• 9:45
  there's
• 9:45
  still,
• 9:45
  like,
• 9:46
  really,
• 9:46
  like,
• 9:46
  you
• 9:46
  know,
• 9:48
  dark
• 9:48
  messages
• 9:49
  there.
• 9:49
  And
• 9:49
  in
• 9:50
  some
• 9:50
  ways,
• 9:50
  they
• 9:50
  do
• 9:51
  kind
• 9:51
  of,
• 9:51
  like,
• 9:52
  give
• 9:52
  it
• 9:52
  a
• 9:52
  more
• 9:52
  Hollywood
• 9:53
  treatment
• 9:53
  and
• 9:54
  make
• 9:54
  it
• 9:54
  less
• 9:55
  dark
• 9:55
  than
• 9:55
  the
• 9:55
  novel.
• 9:56
  But
• 9:56
  I
• 9:56
  still
• 9:57
  think
• 9:57
  it's
• 9:57
  worth
• 9:57
  seeing.
• 9:58
  So
• 9:58
  I
• 9:59
  did
• 9:59
  that.
• 9:59
  And
• 9:59
  then
• 10:00
  just
• 10:01
  a
• 10:01
  couple
• 10:01
  other
• 10:01
  quick
• 10:02
  things.
• 10:03
  Frankenstein,
• 10:04
  which
• 10:04
  is
• 10:04
  another
• 10:05
  I'm
• 10:05
  gonna
• 10:05
  go
• 10:05
  more
• 10:05
  in
• 10:06
  depth
• 10:06
  on
• 10:06
  in
• 10:06
  a
• 10:06
  few
• 10:07
  hours.
• 10:07
  But
• 10:08
  also
• 10:09
  a
• 10:09
  huge
• 10:10
  Guillermo
• 10:10
  del
• 10:10
  Toro
• 10:11
  fan,
• 10:11
  and
• 10:12
  so
• 10:12
  I
• 10:12
  was
• 10:12
  really
• 10:13
  excited
• 10:13
  about
• 10:13
  this
• 10:13
  one.
• 10:13
  I
• 10:13
  got
• 10:14
  to
• 10:14
  see
• 10:14
  it
• 10:14
  in
• 10:15
  theaters
• 10:15
  on
• 10:16
  Halloween
• 10:16
  night,
• 10:17
  even
• 10:17
  though
• 10:17
  it
• 10:17
  is
• 10:18
  on
• 10:18
  Netflix
• 10:18
  now.
• 10:18
  I
• 10:19
  rewatch
• 10:19
  it
• 10:19
  on
• 10:19
  Netflix,
• 10:20
  but
• 10:21
  this
• 10:21
  is
• 10:21
  easily
• 10:21
  one
• 10:22
  of
• 10:22
  my
• 10:22
  favorite
• 10:22
  movies
• 10:22
  of
• 10:22
  the
• 10:23
  year.
• 10:23
  Another
• 10:24
  one
• 10:24
  that
• 10:25
  I
• 10:25
  think
• 10:26
  it
• 10:26
  captures
• 10:26
  the
• 10:27
  spirit
• 10:27
  and
• 10:27
  tone
• 10:28
  of
• 10:28
  the
• 10:29
  original
• 10:29
  Mary
• 10:29
  Shelley
• 10:30
  novel
• 10:31
  quite
• 10:31
  well,
• 10:32
  but
• 10:32
  it
• 10:33
  does
• 10:33
  change
• 10:33
  plot
• 10:34
  elements,
• 10:34
  and
• 10:35
  it
• 10:35
  has
• 10:35
  del
• 10:35
  Toro's
• 10:36
  distinctive
• 10:36
  vision.
• 10:38
  But
• 10:38
  I
• 10:38
  don't
• 10:39
  know.
• 10:39
  Have
• 10:39
  you
• 10:39
  gotten.
• 10:40
  Have
• 10:40
  you
• 10:40
  heard
• 10:40
  about
• 10:40
  that
• 10:41
  or
• 10:41
  gotten.
• 10:41
  Check
• 10:41
  it
• 10:41
  out
• 10:42
  on
• 10:42
  Netflix?
• 10:42
  No,
• 10:43
  I
• 10:43
  haven't.
• 10:44
  Highly
• 10:44
  recommend.
• 10:45
  I
• 10:45
  don't.
• 10:46
  It's
• 10:46
  just
• 10:46
  like.
• 10:46
  It's
• 10:47
  one
• 10:47
  of
• 10:47
  those.
• 10:47
  Like,
• 10:48
  just
• 10:48
  del
• 10:49
  Toro
• 10:49
  has.
• 10:50
  His
• 10:50
  films
• 10:51
  are
• 10:51
  so
• 10:51
  atmospheric,
• 10:52
  and
• 10:53
  the
• 10:53
  set
• 10:54
  design
• 10:54
  and
• 10:54
  the
• 10:54
  costuming
• 10:55
  alone
• 10:56
  are
• 10:56
  amazing.
• 10:56
  And
• 10:57
  I
• 10:57
  know
• 10:57
  you're
• 10:57
  a
• 10:57
  theater
• 10:58
  person
• 10:58
  as
• 10:58
  well,
• 10:58
  so
• 10:58
  I
• 10:58
  think
• 10:58
  you'll
• 10:59
  appreciate
• 10:59
  that.
• 11:00
  And
• 11:00
  the
• 11:01
  performances
• 11:01
  here
• 11:01
  are
• 11:02
  incredible.
• 11:02
  Oscar
• 11:03
  Isaac
• 11:03
  and
• 11:04
  Jacob
• 11:04
  Elordi
• 11:05
  as
• 11:05
  the
• 11:05
  creature,
• 11:06
  and
• 11:07
  then
• 11:07
  Mia
• 11:07
  Goth
• 11:07
  as
• 11:08
  Elizabeth.
• 11:08
  So.
• 11:09
  So,
• 11:09
  yeah,
• 11:10
  I
• 11:10
  highly
• 11:10
  recommend
• 11:11
  that.
• 11:12
  Again,
• 11:13
  Definitely
• 11:13
  one
• 11:14
  where
• 11:14
  be
• 11:14
  talking
• 11:14
  about
• 11:15
  more
• 11:15
  on
• 11:15
  the
• 11:15
  show
• 11:16
  because
• 11:16
  there's
• 11:17
  so
• 11:17
  many
• 11:17
  themes
• 11:17
  and
• 11:18
  everything
• 11:18
  to
• 11:19
  dissect
• 11:19
  here.
• 11:20
  And
• 11:20
  then
• 11:20
  the
• 11:21
  last
• 11:21
  one
• 11:21
  I'll
• 11:21
  quickly
• 11:22
  hit
• 11:22
  on,
• 11:22
  which
• 11:22
  is
• 11:22
  again,
• 11:23
  I'm
• 11:23
  giving
• 11:23
  kind
• 11:24
  of
• 11:24
  previews
• 11:24
  of
• 11:24
  things
• 11:24
  I'm
• 11:25
  going
• 11:25
  to
• 11:25
  talk
• 11:25
  about
• 11:25
  more
• 11:25
  in
• 11:26
  depth
• 11:26
  later
• 11:26
  on.
• 11:26
  But
• 11:26
  I
• 11:26
  know
• 11:27
  we
• 11:27
  got
• 11:27
  to
• 11:27
  get
• 11:27
  to
• 11:27
  the
• 11:27
  main
• 11:27
  topic,
• 11:28
  but
• 11:29
  the
• 11:29
  show
• 11:29
  Pluribus
• 11:30
  on
• 11:30
  Apple
• 11:31
  tv.
• 11:31
  This
• 11:31
  is
• 11:32
  the
• 11:32
  new
• 11:32
  Vince
• 11:33
  Gilligan
• 11:33
  series
• 11:34
  who's
• 11:34
  the
• 11:34
  creator
• 11:35
  of
• 11:35
  Breaking
• 11:35
  Bad
• 11:35
  and
• 11:35
  Better
• 11:36
  Call
• 11:36
  Saul.
• 11:36
  And
• 11:37
  this
• 11:37
  is
• 11:37
  his
• 11:37
  first
• 11:37
  like
• 11:38
  non
• 11:38
  Breaking
• 11:39
  Bad
• 11:40
  universe
• 11:40
  thing
• 11:40
  in
• 11:41
  almost
• 11:42
  20
• 11:42
  years.
• 11:43
  So
• 11:44
  the
• 11:44
  premise
• 11:45
  here
• 11:45
  is
• 11:46
  that
• 11:46
  this
• 11:47
  massive
• 11:47
  apocalyptic
• 11:48
  event
• 11:48
  happens
• 11:49
  and
• 11:49
  now
• 11:50
  the
• 11:51
  like
• 11:51
  humanity
• 11:51
  is
• 11:52
  being
• 11:52
  controlled
• 11:52
  by
• 11:52
  this
• 11:53
  hive
• 11:53
  mind,
• 11:53
  but
• 11:54
  everyone
• 11:54
  who's
• 11:55
  left
• 11:55
  on
• 11:56
  Earth
• 11:56
  is
• 11:56
  extremely
• 11:57
  happy
• 11:57
  and
• 11:58
  peaceful.
• 11:58
  There's
• 11:59
  only
• 11:59
  one
• 11:59
  woman
• 11:59
  who
• 12:00
  remains
• 12:01
  unaltered
• 12:02
  by
• 12:02
  the
• 12:02
  hive
• 12:02
  mind
• 12:03
  and
• 12:03
  so
• 12:03
  she's
• 12:04
  cynical
• 12:04
  and
• 12:04
  miserable
• 12:05
  in
• 12:05
  a
• 12:05
  world
• 12:06
  that
• 12:06
  is,
• 12:07
  you
• 12:07
  know,
• 12:07
  in
• 12:07
  a
• 12:07
  way,
• 12:08
  like
• 12:08
  Utopia.
• 12:09
  But
• 12:09
  it's
• 12:10
  also
• 12:10
  really
• 12:10
  creepy
• 12:10
  because
• 12:11
  it's
• 12:11
  kind
• 12:11
  of
• 12:11
  a
• 12:11
  very
• 12:12
  Invasion
• 12:13
  of
• 12:13
  the
• 12:13
  Body
• 12:13
  Snatchers
• 12:14
  kind
• 12:14
  of
• 12:14
  atmosphere.
• 12:15
  It's
• 12:16
  a
• 12:16
  fascinating
• 12:16
  show
• 12:17
  so
• 12:17
  far.
• 12:17
  I
• 12:17
  mean,
• 12:18
  it's.
• 12:18
  I,
• 12:18
  it's
• 12:19
  another
• 12:19
  one
• 12:19
  I'm
• 12:19
  curious
• 12:20
  about.
• 12:20
  Like,
• 12:20
  wow,
• 12:21
  what
• 12:21
  do
• 12:21
  you
• 12:21
  do
• 12:22
  with
• 12:22
  it?
• 12:22
  It
• 12:22
  was
• 12:22
  an
• 12:22
  incredible
• 12:23
  pilot
• 12:23
  and
• 12:24
  three
• 12:25
  episodes
• 12:25
  in
• 12:25
  so
• 12:25
  far.
• 12:26
  I
• 12:26
  just
• 12:26
  watched
• 12:26
  the
• 12:26
  third
• 12:27
  one
• 12:27
  earlier
• 12:27
  today,
• 12:28
  but
• 12:29
  I'm.
• 12:29
  There's.
• 12:30
  It's
• 12:30
  another
• 12:30
  one
• 12:31
  where
• 12:31
  there's
• 12:31
  so
• 12:31
  much
• 12:31
  to
• 12:31
  dissect
• 12:32
  and
• 12:32
  I
• 12:32
  can't
• 12:32
  wait
• 12:33
  to
• 12:33
  see
• 12:33
  how
• 12:34
  it
• 12:34
  plays
• 12:34
  out.
• 12:34
  But,
• 12:35
  but
• 12:35
  yeah,
• 12:35
  if
• 12:36
  you're
• 12:36
  into
• 12:36
  any
• 12:36
  kind
• 12:37
  of
• 12:37
  like,
• 12:37
  you
• 12:38
  know,
• 12:38
  speculative
• 12:38
  fiction
• 12:39
  or
• 12:39
  sci
• 12:40
  fi
• 12:40
  drama,
• 12:41
  definitely
• 12:42
  worth
• 12:42
  checking
• 12:43
  out.
• 12:43
  And
• 12:43
  Rhea
• 12:44
  Sahorn
• 12:44
  is
• 12:44
  incredible.
• 12:46
  So
• 12:46
  yeah,
• 12:47
  it's.
• 12:47
  It,
• 12:47
  it's
• 12:48
  really
• 12:48
  exciting
• 12:48
  to
• 12:49
  see
• 12:49
  Vince
• 12:49
  Gilligan
• 12:50
  kind
• 12:50
  of
• 12:50
  return
• 12:50
  to
• 12:50
  sci
• 12:51
  fi
• 12:51
  because
• 12:51
  he
• 12:52
  started
• 12:52
  as
• 12:52
  a
• 12:53
  writer
• 12:53
  and
• 12:53
  producer
• 12:54
  on
• 12:54
  the
• 12:54
  X
• 12:54
  Files
• 12:55
  before
• 12:55
  Breaking
• 12:55
  Bad.
• 12:56
  So,
• 12:57
  yeah,
• 12:57
  I
• 12:57
  know
• 12:57
  I'm
• 12:57
  geeking
• 12:58
  out
• 12:58
  on
• 12:58
  a
• 12:58
  lot,
• 12:58
  but
• 12:58
  there's.
• 12:59
  Oh,
• 12:59
  there's
• 12:59
  so
• 12:59
  much
• 12:59
  going
• 13:00
  on
• 13:00
  right
• 13:00
  now,
• 13:00
  so
• 13:00
  I'll
• 13:01
  have
• 13:01
  plenty
• 13:01
  to
• 13:01
  talk
• 13:01
  about
• 13:02
  for.
• 13:03
  But
• 13:03
  yeah,
• 13:03
  also
• 13:04
  real
• 13:04
  quick,
• 13:04
  before
• 13:05
  we
• 13:05
  get
• 13:05
  into
• 13:05
  my
• 13:05
  topic,
• 13:06
  how's
• 13:06
  the
• 13:06
  play
• 13:06
  going
• 13:07
  that
• 13:07
  you're
• 13:07
  in?
• 13:07
  Oh,
• 13:08
  it's
• 13:08
  going
• 13:08
  really
• 13:09
  good.
• 13:09
  I,
• 13:10
  I
• 13:10
  got
• 13:10
  back
• 13:10
  from
• 13:10
  rehearsals
• 13:11
  today
• 13:12
  and
• 13:12
  so
• 13:12
  we're
• 13:12
  going
• 13:13
  over
• 13:13
  more
• 13:13
  scenes.
• 13:13
  Just
• 13:14
  running
• 13:14
  the
• 13:14
  show
• 13:14
  because
• 13:15
  opening
• 13:15
  night
• 13:16
  is
• 13:16
  Black
• 13:16
  Friday.
• 13:17
  Oh,
• 13:18
  wow.
• 13:18
  Yeah,
• 13:18
  that's.
• 13:19
  Oh,
• 13:19
  that'll
• 13:19
  be
• 13:20
  busy.
• 13:20
  Yeah.
• 13:20
  What
• 13:20
  play?
• 13:21
  It.
• 13:21
  What
• 13:21
  play
• 13:21
  is
• 13:22
  it?
• 13:22
  It's
• 13:22
  called.
• 13:23
  It's
• 13:23
  a.
• 13:23
  Haha.
• 13:24
  Hallelujah
• 13:24
  Christmas.
• 13:25
  It's
• 13:25
  a
• 13:25
  Christmas
• 13:25
  musical.
• 13:27
  So
• 13:27
  yeah,
• 13:27
  it's
• 13:28
  pretty
• 13:28
  fun.
• 13:29
  That's
• 13:29
  awesome.
• 13:30
  That's
• 13:30
  awesome.
• 13:30
  Well,
• 13:31
  we
• 13:31
  need
• 13:31
  to
• 13:31
  get,
• 13:31
  like,
• 13:32
  all
• 13:32
  the
• 13:32
  theater
• 13:32
  kids
• 13:33
  from
• 13:33
  Systematic
• 13:34
  Ecology
• 13:34
  on
• 13:34
  an
• 13:34
  episode
• 13:35
  at
• 13:35
  some
• 13:35
  point
• 13:35
  that
• 13:36
  would
• 13:36
  share
• 13:36
  all
• 13:36
  experiences.
• 13:39
  And
• 13:39
  I'm
• 13:40
  sure
• 13:40
  you're
• 13:40
  excited
• 13:40
  for
• 13:40
  Wicked.
• 13:41
  Next
• 13:41
  week,
• 13:41
  because
• 13:41
  I'm
• 13:42
  excited.
• 13:43
  Oh,
• 13:43
  my
• 13:43
  gosh,
• 13:43
  I
• 13:44
  can't
• 13:44
  wait.
• 13:44
  I
• 13:44
  saw
• 13:44
  the
• 13:45
  first
• 13:45
  one,
• 13:45
  like,
• 13:46
  I
• 13:46
  think
• 13:46
  three
• 13:46
  times
• 13:47
  back
• 13:47
  to
• 13:47
  back.
• 13:49
  So
• 13:50
  I'm
• 13:50
  excited
• 13:50
  for
• 13:50
  this
• 13:51
  one.
• 13:51
  Yeah,
• 13:52
  it's
• 13:52
  one
• 13:52
  of
• 13:52
  the
• 13:52
  few
• 13:53
  I
• 13:53
  kind
• 13:53
  of
• 13:53
  think
• 13:54
  is,
• 13:54
  as
• 13:54
  much
• 13:54
  as
• 13:55
  I
• 13:55
  love
• 13:55
  the
• 13:55
  stage
• 13:55
  musical,
• 13:56
  I
• 13:56
  think
• 13:56
  the
• 13:56
  movie
• 13:56
  actually
• 13:57
  improves
• 13:57
  on
• 13:57
  it
• 13:57
  in
• 13:58
  some
• 13:58
  way.
• 13:58
  Oh,
• 13:58
  for
• 13:58
  sure.
• 13:59
  Yeah.
• 14:00
  So
• 14:00
  it'.
• 14:00
  Yeah,
• 14:01
  I
• 14:01
  can't
• 14:01
  wait
• 14:01
  for
• 14:01
  part
• 14:01
  two,
• 14:02
  but
• 14:02
  got
• 14:02
  my
• 14:02
  tickets
• 14:03
  for
• 14:03
  next
• 14:03
  week,
• 14:03
  so
• 14:03
  very
• 14:04
  excited.
• 14:04
  Okay.
• 14:04
  Period.
• 14:06
  Awesome.
• 14:06
  Awesome.
• 14:07
  Well,
• 14:08
  Alex,
• 14:09
  very
• 14:09
  excited
• 14:09
  for
• 14:09
  the
• 14:10
  main
• 14:10
  topic
• 14:10
  today.
• 14:10
  So,
• 14:11
  again,
• 14:11
  as
• 14:11
  we
• 14:11
  alluded
• 14:12
  to
• 14:12
  at
• 14:12
  the
• 14:12
  beginning,
• 14:12
  it
• 14:12
  is.
• 14:13
  We're
• 14:13
  asking
• 14:14
  the
• 14:14
  question,
• 14:14
  what
• 14:15
  if
• 14:15
  Peter
• 14:15
  Parker
• 14:16
  were
• 14:16
  the
• 14:16
  mayor
• 14:17
  of
• 14:17
  New
• 14:17
  York
• 14:17
  City?
• 14:17
  And
• 14:18
  this
• 14:18
  idea.
• 14:19
  We
• 14:19
  were
• 14:20
  bouncing
• 14:20
  ideas
• 14:20
  around
• 14:21
  for
• 14:21
  a
• 14:21
  what
• 14:22
  if
• 14:22
  episode,
• 14:22
  and
• 14:23
  this
• 14:24
  was
• 14:24
  just
• 14:24
  the
• 14:24
  mayor
• 14:25
  election
• 14:25
  in
• 14:26
  New
• 14:26
  York
• 14:26
  had
• 14:26
  just
• 14:26
  happened,
• 14:27
  and
• 14:27
  I
• 14:27
  was
• 14:27
  like,
• 14:28
  ooh,
• 14:28
  maybe
• 14:28
  we
• 14:28
  could
• 14:28
  apply
• 14:29
  this
• 14:29
  to
• 14:30
  the
• 14:30
  Marvel
• 14:30
  Universe.
• 14:30
  And
• 14:31
  there
• 14:31
  have
• 14:31
  already
• 14:32
  been
• 14:32
  several
• 14:33
  Marvel
• 14:33
  characters
• 14:34
  become
• 14:34
  mayor,
• 14:35
  including
• 14:35
  Kingpin
• 14:36
  and
• 14:36
  Daredevil.
• 14:37
  But
• 14:37
  I
• 14:38
  thought,
• 14:38
  ooh,
• 14:38
  what
• 14:38
  would
• 14:39
  it
• 14:39
  be
• 14:39
  like
• 14:39
  if
• 14:40
  Peter
• 14:40
  Parker
• 14:41
  were
• 14:42
  a
• 14:42
  politician
• 14:42
  here?
• 14:43
  So
• 14:44
  before
• 14:44
  we
• 14:44
  get
• 14:45
  into
• 14:45
  kind
• 14:45
  of
• 14:45
  like
• 14:45
  our
• 14:46
  ideas
• 14:46
  here,
• 14:46
  what's
• 14:47
  kind
• 14:47
  of
• 14:47
  your
• 14:47
  background
• 14:48
  with
• 14:49
  Marvel
• 14:49
  with
• 14:49
  Spider
• 14:50
  Man?
• 14:50
  Any
• 14:51
  favorite
• 14:51
  characters?
• 14:52
  Yeah,
• 14:53
  I
• 14:53
  grew
• 14:53
  up
• 14:53
  watching
• 14:54
  some
• 14:55
  of
• 14:55
  the
• 14:55
  Spider
• 14:55
  Man
• 14:56
  TV
• 14:57
  series.
• 14:58
  I
• 14:58
  saw
• 14:59
  all
• 14:59
  the
• 14:59
  Spider
• 15:00
  man
• 15:00
  movies
• 15:00
  with
• 15:01
  Tom
• 15:01
  Holland.
• 15:03
  Oh,
• 15:04
  Toby
• 15:04
  Maguire
• 15:05
  and
• 15:06
  Spencer
• 15:06
  Garfield.
• 15:07
  Andrew
• 15:08
  Garfield.
• 15:09
  Where'd
• 15:09
  I
• 15:09
  get
• 15:09
  Spencer
• 15:10
  from?
• 15:10
  Yeah,
• 15:10
  Andrew
• 15:11
  Garfield.
• 15:13
  Oh,
• 15:14
  and
• 15:14
  I
• 15:14
  saw.
• 15:14
  Well,
• 15:15
  yeah,
• 15:15
  that's
• 15:15
  basically
• 15:15
  all
• 15:16
  the.
• 15:16
  Yeah,
• 15:17
  I
• 15:17
  saw
• 15:17
  all
• 15:17
  the
• 15:17
  movies.
• 15:19
  So
• 15:20
  I
• 15:20
  think
• 15:20
  I'm
• 15:20
  pretty
• 15:21
  well
• 15:21
  rounded
• 15:21
  with
• 15:21
  Spider
• 15:21
  Man.
• 15:22
  I've
• 15:22
  seen
• 15:22
  a
• 15:22
  couple
• 15:22
  things
• 15:23
  in
• 15:23
  the
• 15:23
  comics,
• 15:24
  not
• 15:25
  all
• 15:25
  of
• 15:25
  them.
• 15:26
  Sure.
• 15:27
  So
• 15:28
  I
• 15:28
  think
• 15:29
  I
• 15:29
  should
• 15:29
  be
• 15:29
  good
• 15:29
  with
• 15:30
  this
• 15:30
  episode.
• 15:32
  It'll
• 15:32
  be
• 15:32
  fun,
• 15:32
  I
• 15:32
  think.
• 15:33
  Well,
• 15:33
  it
• 15:34
  was
• 15:34
  similar
• 15:34
  to
• 15:34
  me.
• 15:34
  I
• 15:34
  grew
• 15:35
  up
• 15:35
  on
• 15:35
  the
• 15:35
  cartoons
• 15:35
  of
• 15:35
  the
• 15:35
  movies
• 15:36
  and
• 15:36
  then
• 15:38
  rented
• 15:38
  a
• 15:38
  lot
• 15:38
  of
• 15:38
  the
• 15:38
  comics,
• 15:39
  but
• 15:40
  we
• 15:40
  were
• 15:41
  creation.
• 15:41
  And
• 15:41
  Ashley
• 15:42
  is
• 15:42
  our
• 15:42
  resident
• 15:43
  Spider
• 15:43
  man
• 15:44
  expert
• 15:44
  on
• 15:44
  the
• 15:45
  podcast.
• 15:45
  That's
• 15:45
  his
• 15:46
  avatar.
• 15:47
  He's
• 15:47
  on
• 15:47
  vacation
• 15:48
  right
• 15:48
  now,
• 15:48
  so
• 15:48
  he
• 15:49
  couldn't
• 15:49
  be
• 15:49
  here
• 15:49
  with
• 15:49
  this
• 15:50
  one.
• 15:50
  But
• 15:50
  I'll
• 15:50
  love
• 15:50
  to
• 15:50
  get
• 15:51
  his
• 15:51
  thoughts
• 15:51
  on
• 15:51
  this
• 15:51
  too.
• 15:52
  But.
• 15:52
  But
• 15:52
  no,
• 15:52
  I
• 15:53
  mean,
• 15:53
  I
• 15:53
  think
• 15:53
  that's
• 15:53
  the
• 15:53
  great
• 15:53
  thing
• 15:54
  about
• 15:54
  Spider
• 15:54
  man
• 15:55
  as
• 15:55
  a
• 15:55
  character
• 15:55
  is
• 15:56
  that
• 15:56
  he
• 15:57
  is
• 15:57
  so
• 15:57
  universal
• 15:58
  that
• 15:58
  you
• 15:58
  don't
• 15:58
  have
• 15:58
  to
• 15:58
  be,
• 15:59
  like,
• 15:59
  an
• 15:59
  expert
• 16:00
  on
• 16:00
  the
• 16:00
  comics
• 16:00
  or
• 16:00
  what.
• 16:01
  Like,
• 16:01
  he's,
• 16:01
  you
• 16:02
  know,
• 16:02
  crossed
• 16:02
  into
• 16:02
  so
• 16:03
  many
• 16:03
  mediums
• 16:03
  that
• 16:04
  we
• 16:04
  all
• 16:04
  kind
• 16:05
  of
• 16:05
  have
• 16:06
  our
• 16:06
  versions
• 16:06
  of
• 16:07
  the
• 16:07
  character.
• 16:07
  That
• 16:07
  we
• 16:07
  really
• 16:08
  love.
• 16:08
  Like,
• 16:08
  I
• 16:08
  mean,
• 16:08
  you
• 16:09
  know,
• 16:09
  like
• 16:09
  in
• 16:09
  the
• 16:09
  movies.
• 16:10
  Like,
• 16:10
  I
• 16:10
  love
• 16:10
  all
• 16:11
  three
• 16:11
  of
• 16:11
  them,
• 16:11
  but,
• 16:11
  like,
• 16:12
  Toby
• 16:12
  will
• 16:12
  kind
• 16:13
  of
• 16:13
  always
• 16:13
  be
• 16:13
  my
• 16:13
  Spider
• 16:14
  man
• 16:14
  just
• 16:14
  because
• 16:15
  that
• 16:15
  was
• 16:15
  like
• 16:15
  the
• 16:15
  first
• 16:16
  for
• 16:16
  me.
• 16:16
  And
• 16:17
  always
• 16:17
  remember
• 16:17
  seeing
• 16:18
  those
• 16:18
  movies
• 16:18
  in
• 16:18
  theaters
• 16:19
  and
• 16:19
  the
• 16:19
  impact
• 16:19
  they
• 16:20
  had.
• 16:20
  Yeah.
• 16:20
  But
• 16:20
  I
• 16:21
  love
• 16:21
  Andrew
• 16:21
  and
• 16:21
  Tom
• 16:22
  as
• 16:22
  well.
• 16:23
  So.
• 16:23
  Yeah.
• 16:23
  And
• 16:24
  then.
• 16:24
  And
• 16:24
  then
• 16:24
  the
• 16:24
  90s
• 16:25
  cartoon
• 16:25
  was
• 16:25
  very
• 16:26
  influential
• 16:27
  for
• 16:27
  me
• 16:27
  as
• 16:27
  well.
• 16:28
  So.
• 16:28
  Yeah,
• 16:28
  that's.
• 16:29
  But
• 16:29
  yeah.
• 16:29
  Are
• 16:30
  there
• 16:30
  any
• 16:30
  other,
• 16:30
  like,
• 16:31
  Marvel
• 16:31
  characters
• 16:31
  you
• 16:32
  really
• 16:32
  love
• 16:32
  either
• 16:33
  in,
• 16:33
  like,
• 16:34
  from
• 16:34
  like,
• 16:34
  movies
• 16:35
  or
• 16:35
  TV
• 16:35
  or
• 16:36
  comics
• 16:36
  or
• 16:36
  anything?
• 16:37
  Yeah,
• 16:37
  I
• 16:38
  love
• 16:38
  Loki.
• 16:39
  I
• 16:40
  recently
• 16:40
  finished
• 16:41
  his
• 16:42
  series
• 16:42
  on
• 16:43
  Disney
• 16:43
  plus.
• 16:46
  I
• 16:46
  have
• 16:46
  mixed
• 16:46
  feelings
• 16:47
  about
• 16:47
  that.
• 16:49
  Which
• 16:49
  I
• 16:49
  did
• 16:49
  talk
• 16:49
  about
• 16:50
  in
• 16:50
  another
• 16:50
  episode
• 16:51
  and.
• 16:51
  Yeah,
• 16:52
  who
• 16:52
  else
• 16:52
  do
• 16:52
  I
• 16:52
  like?
• 16:53
  I
• 16:53
  like.
• 16:55
  I
• 16:56
  like
• 16:56
  some
• 16:56
  X
• 16:56
  Men
• 16:57
  characters.
• 16:58
  Phoenix,
• 16:59
  I
• 17:00
  don't
• 17:00
  know.
• 17:00
  She
• 17:00
  has
• 17:00
  a
• 17:00
  special
• 17:00
  place
• 17:01
  about
• 17:01
  her
• 17:01
  because
• 17:01
  I
• 17:01
  feel
• 17:02
  like
• 17:02
  she
• 17:03
  just
• 17:03
  struggles
• 17:03
  a
• 17:03
  lot.
• 17:04
  Yep,
• 17:05
  yep.
• 17:06
  And
• 17:07
  Scarlet
• 17:07
  Witch,
• 17:08
  same
• 17:08
  thing.
• 17:08
  She
• 17:08
  just
• 17:09
  Struggle
• 17:10
  bus.
• 17:10
  A
• 17:10
  struggle
• 17:10
  bus.
• 17:14
  Who
• 17:14
  else
• 17:15
  do
• 17:15
  I
• 17:15
  like?
• 17:15
  I
• 17:15
  like
• 17:15
  Storm.
• 17:16
  Storm
• 17:17
  is
• 17:17
  so
• 17:17
  cool.
• 17:18
  She's
• 17:19
  so
• 17:19
  cool.
• 17:20
  Black
• 17:20
  Panther
• 17:22
  Hulk.
• 17:23
  He's
• 17:23
  amazing.
• 17:26
  Thor,
• 17:27
  he's
• 17:27
  also
• 17:27
  one
• 17:27
  of
• 17:27
  my
• 17:28
  favorites.
• 17:28
  Yeah.
• 17:31
  Venom
• 17:32
  is
• 17:32
  just
• 17:32
  funny
• 17:33
  in
• 17:33
  the
• 17:33
  movies.
• 17:38
  That's
• 17:38
  me.
• 17:39
  That's
• 17:39
  really
• 17:40
  it.
• 17:40
  Oh,
• 17:40
  group
• 17:41
  love.
• 17:41
  Group.
• 17:42
  Of
• 17:43
  course.
• 17:44
  I
• 17:44
  love
• 17:44
  it.
• 17:45
  Yeah,
• 17:46
  that's
• 17:46
  one
• 17:46
  of
• 17:46
  my
• 17:46
  favorite.
• 17:46
  I
• 17:47
  love
• 17:47
  it.
• 17:47
  That's
• 17:48
  a
• 17:48
  great
• 17:48
  roster.
• 17:48
  I
• 17:49
  know.
• 17:49
  And
• 17:49
  it's
• 17:50
  like,
• 17:50
  what
• 17:50
  it
• 17:51
  is.
• 17:51
  Like,
• 17:51
  I've
• 17:52
  got
• 17:52
  to
• 17:52
  run
• 17:52
  a
• 17:52
  Venom
• 17:52
  there
• 17:53
  because
• 17:53
  it
• 17:53
  is
• 17:53
  so,
• 17:54
  like,
• 17:54
  I
• 17:54
  do
• 17:54
  love
• 17:55
  when.
• 17:55
  I
• 17:55
  mean,
• 17:55
  I
• 17:55
  do
• 17:55
  the.
• 17:56
  The
• 17:56
  Sony
• 17:56
  movie
• 17:56
  universe
• 17:57
  especially
• 17:57
  is
• 17:58
  so
• 17:58
  specific
• 17:59
  and
• 17:59
  they're
• 17:59
  like
• 18:00
  their
• 18:00
  interpretations
• 18:00
  of
• 18:01
  the
• 18:01
  characters.
• 18:01
  But.
• 18:01
  But
• 18:02
  I
• 18:02
  do
• 18:02
  love
• 18:02
  that
• 18:02
  they
• 18:03
  made
• 18:03
  Venom
• 18:03
  like
• 18:04
  this,
• 18:04
  like,
• 18:05
  comedic,
• 18:06
  you
• 18:06
  know,
• 18:06
  sci
• 18:06
  fi
• 18:07
  romp
• 18:07
  kind
• 18:07
  of.
• 18:08
  I
• 18:08
  mean,
• 18:08
  I.
• 18:09
  I
• 18:09
  haven't
• 18:09
  seen
• 18:09
  the
• 18:09
  most
• 18:10
  recent
• 18:10
  one,
• 18:10
  but
• 18:10
  I.
• 18:11
  But
• 18:11
  I
• 18:11
  like
• 18:11
  the
• 18:12
  first
• 18:12
  two.
• 18:12
  Like,
• 18:12
  I
• 18:12
  mean,
• 18:12
  they're.
• 18:13
  They're
• 18:13
  campy
• 18:14
  and
• 18:14
  everything,
• 18:14
  but
• 18:15
  I
• 18:15
  thought
• 18:15
  they
• 18:15
  were
• 18:15
  fun.
• 18:17
  Yeah,
• 18:17
  I
• 18:17
  saw
• 18:17
  the
• 18:17
  first.
• 18:17
  I
• 18:18
  didn't
• 18:18
  see
• 18:18
  the
• 18:18
  last
• 18:18
  one.
• 18:19
  I
• 18:19
  heard
• 18:19
  that
• 18:20
  it
• 18:20
  wasn't
• 18:20
  that
• 18:20
  good.
• 18:21
  Yeah.
• 18:21
  I
• 18:22
  still
• 18:22
  want
• 18:22
  to
• 18:22
  see
• 18:22
  it
• 18:22
  though.
• 18:23
  I
• 18:24
  think
• 18:24
  it's
• 18:24
  still
• 18:25
  on
• 18:25
  Netflix
• 18:25
  maybe.
• 18:26
  But
• 18:26
  yeah,
• 18:27
  that
• 18:27
  also
• 18:27
  tells
• 18:27
  you
• 18:28
  I
• 18:28
  haven't
• 18:28
  been
• 18:29
  rushing
• 18:29
  to
• 18:29
  watch
• 18:29
  it.
• 18:29
  That
• 18:30
  was
• 18:30
  when
• 18:30
  I
• 18:30
  like,
• 18:30
  I.
• 18:31
  Because
• 18:31
  I
• 18:31
  saw
• 18:31
  the
• 18:31
  first
• 18:32
  two
• 18:32
  actually
• 18:32
  in
• 18:32
  theaters,
• 18:33
  but
• 18:33
  I
• 18:33
  kind
• 18:33
  of
• 18:33
  dipped
• 18:34
  off
• 18:34
  the,
• 18:35
  like,
• 18:35
  again,
• 18:35
  the
• 18:35
  Sony,
• 18:36
  you
• 18:36
  know,
• 18:36
  non
• 18:37
  Spider
• 18:37
  man
• 18:37
  cinematic
• 18:38
  universe
• 18:38
  after
• 18:38
  a
• 18:39
  while.
• 18:39
  But.
• 18:39
  Yeah,
• 18:40
  but
• 18:40
  I
• 18:40
  saw
• 18:40
  some
• 18:40
  of
• 18:40
  that
• 18:40
  earlier.
• 18:41
  But.
• 18:41
  But
• 18:41
  that
• 18:42
  first
• 18:42
  one,
• 18:43
  it
• 18:43
  really
• 18:44
  does
• 18:44
  hold
• 18:44
  up
• 18:44
  as,
• 18:45
  like,
• 18:45
  genuinely
• 18:45
  entertaining.
• 18:47
  But.
• 18:47
  Yeah,
• 18:47
  but.
• 18:48
  But
• 18:48
  those
• 18:48
  are
• 18:49
  some
• 18:49
  great
• 18:49
  characters
• 18:50
  there.
• 18:50
  Maybe
• 18:50
  we
• 18:51
  can
• 18:51
  even
• 18:51
  find
• 18:51
  a
• 18:51
  way
• 18:52
  to
• 18:52
  incorporate
• 18:52
  them
• 18:53
  into.
• 18:55
  Like,
• 18:55
  what
• 18:55
  if
• 18:55
  Peter
• 18:56
  Parker
• 18:56
  story
• 18:56
  here.
• 18:56
  So.
• 18:57
  Yeah,
• 18:58
  so,
• 18:58
  yeah.
• 18:58
  Okay.
• 18:59
  So
• 18:59
  now,
• 19:00
  I
• 19:00
  don't
• 19:00
  know
• 19:00
  about
• 19:00
  you,
• 19:00
  but,
• 19:01
  like,
• 19:01
  when
• 19:02
  I'm
• 19:02
  kind
• 19:02
  of,
• 19:02
  like,
• 19:03
  in
• 19:04
  improv
• 19:04
  or
• 19:04
  something
• 19:04
  like
• 19:05
  that,
• 19:05
  I'm
• 19:05
  usually
• 19:06
  good
• 19:06
  at
• 19:06
  coming
• 19:06
  up
• 19:07
  with
• 19:07
  an
• 19:08
  initial,
• 19:08
  like,
• 19:09
  starter
• 19:09
  of
• 19:09
  a
• 19:09
  story
• 19:10
  kind
• 19:10
  of
• 19:10
  thing,
• 19:10
  and
• 19:10
  then
• 19:11
  I
• 19:11
  need
• 19:11
  help
• 19:11
  fleshing
• 19:12
  it
• 19:12
  out
• 19:12
  from
• 19:12
  there.
• 19:12
  So
• 19:13
  I
• 19:13
  jotted
• 19:14
  down
• 19:14
  some
• 19:14
  notes
• 19:14
  for
• 19:14
  what
• 19:15
  I
• 19:15
  think
• 19:15
  is,
• 19:15
  like,
• 19:15
  a
• 19:16
  premise
• 19:16
  here
• 19:16
  and
• 19:16
  overarching,
• 19:17
  but
• 19:17
  I
• 19:17
  don't
• 19:17
  have
• 19:17
  a
• 19:17
  lot
• 19:18
  of
• 19:18
  detail.
• 19:18
  So
• 19:18
  we
• 19:19
  can
• 19:19
  work
• 19:19
  on
• 19:19
  this
• 19:19
  to
• 19:19
  fill
• 19:20
  this
• 19:20
  in.
• 19:20
  But.
• 19:21
  So
• 19:22
  my
• 19:22
  idea
• 19:22
  for
• 19:23
  if
• 19:24
  Peter
• 19:24
  Parker
• 19:24
  were
• 19:24
  mayor
• 19:25
  of
• 19:25
  New
• 19:25
  York
• 19:25
  City,
• 19:25
  and
• 19:26
  I
• 19:26
  am
• 19:26
  completely
• 19:27
  playing
• 19:27
  around
• 19:27
  with
• 19:27
  continuity
• 19:28
  here,
• 19:28
  because
• 19:28
  I
• 19:28
  know
• 19:28
  there's
• 19:28
  a
• 19:29
  lot
• 19:29
  of
• 19:29
  that's
• 19:29
  happened.
• 19:29
  This
• 19:30
  is
• 19:30
  just
• 19:30
  sort
• 19:30
  of
• 19:30
  like
• 19:31
  taking
• 19:31
  the
• 19:31
  characters
• 19:32
  and
• 19:32
  I'm
• 19:32
  gonna,
• 19:33
  like,
• 19:33
  kind
• 19:33
  of,
• 19:33
  like,
• 19:33
  form
• 19:34
  my
• 19:34
  own
• 19:34
  continuity.
• 19:34
  Because
• 19:35
  especially
• 19:35
  in
• 19:36
  Spider
• 19:36
  man
• 19:36
  comics
• 19:37
  and
• 19:37
  in
• 19:37
  comics
• 19:37
  in
• 19:37
  general,
• 19:38
  there's
• 19:39
  retcons
• 19:40
  and
• 19:40
  reboots
• 19:41
  and
• 19:41
  everything
• 19:41
  all
• 19:42
  over
• 19:42
  the
• 19:42
  place.
• 19:42
  So
• 19:43
  I'm
• 19:43
  just
• 19:43
  playing,
• 19:44
  just
• 19:44
  kind
• 19:44
  of
• 19:44
  creating
• 19:45
  a
• 19:45
  story
• 19:45
  here.
• 19:46
  But
• 19:46
  my
• 19:46
  idea
• 19:47
  is
• 19:47
  that
• 19:48
  Peter
• 19:49
  is
• 19:49
  in
• 19:50
  his
• 19:50
  30s
• 19:50
  at
• 19:51
  this
• 19:51
  point.
• 19:51
  He's
• 19:52
  married
• 19:52
  to
• 19:52
  Mary
• 19:52
  Jane,
• 19:53
  and
• 19:54
  he
• 19:54
  decides
• 19:54
  to
• 19:55
  run
• 19:55
  for
• 19:55
  mayor
• 19:56
  after
• 19:56
  Aunt
• 19:57
  May
• 19:57
  dies
• 19:57
  peacefully.
• 19:58
  This
• 19:59
  is
• 19:59
  one
• 19:59
  thing
• 19:59
  that
• 19:59
  I
• 19:59
  feel.
• 20:00
  I
• 20:00
  love
• 20:00
  Aunt
• 20:00
  May
• 20:01
  as
• 20:01
  a
• 20:01
  character,
• 20:01
  but
• 20:02
  this
• 20:02
  is
• 20:02
  one
• 20:02
  thing
• 20:02
  they.
• 20:03
  I
• 20:03
  think
• 20:03
  they
• 20:03
  just
• 20:04
  need
• 20:04
  to
• 20:04
  make
• 20:04
  happen
• 20:04
  at
• 20:05
  some
• 20:05
  point.
• 20:05
  Let
• 20:06
  her
• 20:06
  be
• 20:06
  and
• 20:06
  let
• 20:06
  her
• 20:07
  rest.
• 20:08
  Like,
• 20:08
  because
• 20:08
  I
• 20:08
  think
• 20:08
  it
• 20:08
  would
• 20:09
  be
• 20:09
  a,
• 20:09
  you
• 20:10
  know,
• 20:10
  not
• 20:10
  in
• 20:11
  a,
• 20:11
  like,
• 20:11
  overly
• 20:11
  sad
• 20:12
  way,
• 20:12
  but
• 20:12
  it's
• 20:12
  like,
• 20:13
  okay,
• 20:13
  she's
• 20:13
  getting
• 20:14
  up
• 20:14
  there.
• 20:14
  We
• 20:14
  don't
• 20:15
  need
• 20:15
  to
• 20:15
  have
• 20:15
  her
• 20:16
  forever.
• 20:17
  Like,
• 20:17
  people
• 20:18
  grow
• 20:18
  old
• 20:19
  and
• 20:19
  pass
• 20:19
  away.
• 20:19
  That's
• 20:20
  very
• 20:20
  natural.
• 20:20
  So
• 20:21
  I
• 20:21
  think,
• 20:21
  like,
• 20:21
  that
• 20:22
  would
• 20:22
  be
• 20:22
  the
• 20:22
  determining
• 20:23
  factor
• 20:23
  for
• 20:24
  him
• 20:24
  to
• 20:24
  have
• 20:25
  a
• 20:25
  sort
• 20:25
  of
• 20:26
  life
• 20:26
  change
• 20:26
  and
• 20:27
  career
• 20:27
  change
• 20:28
  here.
• 20:28
  Because
• 20:29
  as
• 20:29
  much
• 20:30
  as,
• 20:30
  you
• 20:31
  know,
• 20:31
  Aunt
• 20:32
  May
• 20:32
  was
• 20:32
  instrumental
• 20:33
  to
• 20:33
  his
• 20:34
  life
• 20:35
  because
• 20:35
  she
• 20:35
  didn't
• 20:36
  really
• 20:36
  understand
• 20:37
  what
• 20:37
  he
• 20:37
  was
• 20:37
  always
• 20:38
  doing
• 20:38
  as
• 20:38
  Spider
• 20:38
  Man.
• 20:38
  She
• 20:39
  often
• 20:39
  condescended
• 20:40
  him
• 20:40
  for
• 20:41
  jumping
• 20:42
  between
• 20:42
  jobs
• 20:43
  and
• 20:43
  being
• 20:44
  basically
• 20:44
  like
• 20:44
  a
• 20:44
  teenager
• 20:45
  all
• 20:45
  the
• 20:45
  time.
• 20:45
  So
• 20:46
  I
• 20:46
  want
• 20:46
  to
• 20:46
  kind
• 20:46
  of
• 20:46
  mature
• 20:47
  Peter
• 20:47
  a
• 20:47
  little
• 20:47
  bit
• 20:47
  here.
• 20:48
  He's
• 20:48
  in
• 20:48
  his
• 20:48
  30s.
• 20:49
  Aunt
• 20:50
  May
• 20:50
  dies
• 20:50
  peacefully,
• 20:51
  he
• 20:51
  says
• 20:51
  goodbye,
• 20:52
  and.
• 20:52
  And
• 20:52
  he's
• 20:52
  at
• 20:52
  this
• 20:53
  turning
• 20:53
  point
• 20:53
  in
• 20:53
  his
• 20:54
  life
• 20:54
  where
• 20:54
  he
• 20:55
  wants
• 20:55
  to
• 20:56
  see
• 20:56
  what
• 20:56
  he
• 20:56
  can
• 20:57
  do,
• 20:57
  not
• 20:58
  just
• 20:58
  as
• 20:58
  Spider
• 20:58
  man,
• 20:58
  but
• 20:59
  as
• 20:59
  Peter
• 20:59
  Parker,
• 21:00
  and
• 21:01
  see
• 21:01
  what
• 21:01
  he
• 21:01
  can
• 21:01
  do
• 21:02
  to
• 21:02
  make
• 21:02
  a
• 21:03
  more
• 21:03
  lasting
• 21:03
  impact
• 21:04
  on
• 21:04
  the
• 21:04
  city
• 21:04
  he's
• 21:04
  been
• 21:05
  protecting
• 21:05
  for
• 21:05
  years.
• 21:06
  And
• 21:06
  so
• 21:06
  he
• 21:07
  decides
• 21:07
  to
• 21:07
  run
• 21:07
  for
• 21:07
  mayor.
• 21:08
  Very
• 21:08
  much
• 21:09
  inspired
• 21:10
  the
• 21:10
  mantra
• 21:11
  by
• 21:11
  that
• 21:12
  he
• 21:12
  lived
• 21:12
  the
• 21:12
  principles
• 21:13
  that
• 21:13
  were
• 21:13
  instilled
• 21:14
  in
• 21:14
  him
• 21:14
  by
• 21:14
  Aunt
• 21:15
  May
• 21:15
  and
• 21:16
  Uncle
• 21:16
  Ben.
• 21:17
  And
• 21:17
  of
• 21:17
  course,
• 21:17
  he's
• 21:18
  going
• 21:18
  to
• 21:18
  have
• 21:19
  you
• 21:19
  know,
• 21:19
  with
• 21:19
  great
• 21:19
  power,
• 21:20
  there
• 21:20
  must
• 21:20
  also
• 21:20
  come
• 21:21
  great
• 21:21
  responsibility
• 21:22
  somewhere
• 21:22
  in
• 21:22
  his
• 21:23
  campaign
• 21:24
  slogan.
• 21:24
  That's
• 21:25
  definitely
• 21:25
  going
• 21:25
  to
• 21:25
  be
• 21:25
  a
• 21:26
  big
• 21:26
  part
• 21:26
  of
• 21:26
  his
• 21:26
  campaign
• 21:27
  speech.
• 21:28
  And
• 21:28
  then
• 21:28
  I'm
• 21:29
  going
• 21:29
  to
• 21:29
  say
• 21:29
  he
• 21:30
  chooses
• 21:30
  J.
• 21:31
  Jonah
• 21:31
  Jameson
• 21:33
  as
• 21:33
  his
• 21:33
  deputy
• 21:34
  mayor.
• 21:34
  Which
• 21:35
  fun
• 21:35
  fact
• 21:35
  like,
• 21:35
  Jameson
• 21:36
  has
• 21:36
  also
• 21:37
  been
• 21:37
  mayor
• 21:37
  of
• 21:38
  New
• 21:38
  York
• 21:38
  in
• 21:38
  the
• 21:38
  comics.
• 21:38
  But
• 21:39
  again,
• 21:39
  I'm
• 21:39
  playing
• 21:39
  around
• 21:39
  with
• 21:39
  continuity
• 21:40
  here.
• 21:41
  But
• 21:42
  I
• 21:42
  think
• 21:42
  this
• 21:42
  would
• 21:43
  be
• 21:43
  really
• 21:43
  interesting
• 21:43
  because
• 21:44
  after
• 21:44
  years
• 21:45
  of
• 21:45
  working
• 21:45
  under
• 21:46
  him,
• 21:46
  he
• 21:47
  wants
• 21:47
  to
• 21:47
  utilize
• 21:48
  Jameson.
• 21:48
  Peter
• 21:48
  wants
• 21:49
  to
• 21:49
  utilize
• 21:49
  Jameson's
• 21:50
  experience
• 21:50
  and
• 21:51
  mentorship.
• 21:52
  And
• 21:52
  even
• 21:53
  with
• 21:53
  someone
• 21:53
  who
• 21:53
  hates
• 21:54
  Spider
• 21:54
  Man.
• 21:54
  His
• 21:55
  idea
• 21:55
  is
• 21:55
  that
• 21:56
  if
• 21:56
  J.
• 21:56
  Jonah
• 21:57
  were
• 21:57
  ever
• 21:57
  to
• 21:58
  find
• 21:58
  out
• 21:58
  about
• 21:58
  Peter's
• 21:59
  identity,
• 21:59
  working
• 22:00
  close
• 22:00
  to
• 22:00
  him
• 22:01
  might
• 22:01
  pave
• 22:01
  the
• 22:02
  path
• 22:02
  for
• 22:03
  maybe
• 22:03
  changing
• 22:03
  his
• 22:04
  perspective.
• 22:04
  And
• 22:04
  they
• 22:05
  can
• 22:05
  become
• 22:05
  like
• 22:05
  really
• 22:06
  sincere
• 22:06
  allies.
• 22:07
  And
• 22:07
  then
• 22:07
  on
• 22:08
  top
• 22:08
  of
• 22:08
  that,
• 22:09
  I
• 22:09
  don't
• 22:09
  know
• 22:09
  if
• 22:10
  you
• 22:10
  know
• 22:10
  this,
• 22:10
  but
• 22:11
  J.
• 22:11
  Jo
• 22:12
  Jameson's
• 22:12
  dad
• 22:13
  married
• 22:13
  Aunt
• 22:14
  May
• 22:14
  in
• 22:14
  the
• 22:14
  comics
• 22:15
  too.
• 22:16
  So
• 22:16
  they
• 22:16
  have
• 22:17
  also
• 22:17
  this
• 22:17
  familial,
• 22:18
  personal
• 22:19
  relationship.
• 22:20
  And
• 22:21
  so
• 22:21
  I
• 22:21
  think
• 22:22
  it
• 22:22
  would
• 22:22
  be
• 22:22
  a
• 22:22
  really
• 22:22
  cool
• 22:22
  dynamic
• 22:23
  if
• 22:23
  the
• 22:23
  two
• 22:24
  of
• 22:24
  them
• 22:24
  were
• 22:25
  running
• 22:26
  the
• 22:26
  city.
• 22:26
  And
• 22:26
  then,
• 22:27
  you
• 22:27
  know,
• 22:28
  this
• 22:28
  is
• 22:29
  where
• 22:29
  we
• 22:29
  can
• 22:29
  kind
• 22:29
  of
• 22:29
  fill
• 22:30
  in
• 22:30
  the
• 22:30
  gaps
• 22:30
  here.
• 22:30
  But
• 22:31
  my
• 22:31
  overarching
• 22:32
  idea
• 22:32
  for
• 22:33
  how
• 22:33
  the
• 22:33
  rest
• 22:33
  of
• 22:33
  the
• 22:33
  story
• 22:34
  plays
• 22:34
  out
• 22:34
  is,
• 22:35
  you
• 22:35
  know,
• 22:36
  he,
• 22:36
  of
• 22:36
  course
• 22:36
  he's
• 22:37
  going
• 22:37
  to
• 22:37
  struggle
• 22:37
  to
• 22:37
  balance
• 22:38
  his
• 22:38
  responsibilities
• 22:39
  as
• 22:39
  mayor
• 22:40
  and
• 22:41
  role
• 22:42
  as
• 22:42
  Spider
• 22:42
  Man.
• 22:43
  I
• 22:43
  mean,
• 22:43
  villains
• 22:44
  like
• 22:44
  Mr.
• 22:44
  Negative
• 22:45
  and
• 22:45
  Hammerhead
• 22:46
  are
• 22:46
  fighting
• 22:47
  to
• 22:47
  control
• 22:48
  crime
• 22:49
  in
• 22:49
  New
• 22:49
  York
• 22:49
  City
• 22:50
  and
• 22:50
  take
• 22:51
  down
• 22:51
  what's
• 22:51
  left
• 22:52
  of.
• 22:52
  I'm
• 22:52
  gonna
• 22:52
  say
• 22:53
  Kingpin's
• 22:53
  empire
• 22:54
  has
• 22:54
  kind
• 22:54
  of
• 22:54
  diminished
• 22:55
  at
• 22:55
  this
• 22:55
  point.
• 22:55
  And
• 22:56
  maybe
• 22:56
  Kingpin's
• 22:56
  in
• 22:57
  jail,
• 22:57
  but
• 22:58
  all
• 22:58
  the
• 22:58
  other
• 22:59
  crime
• 22:59
  lords
• 22:59
  are
• 22:59
  fighting
• 23:00
  for
• 23:00
  control.
• 23:00
  So
• 23:01
  there's
• 23:01
  still
• 23:01
  chaos
• 23:01
  there
• 23:02
  that
• 23:02
  Spider
• 23:02
  man
• 23:02
  has
• 23:02
  to
• 23:02
  tend
• 23:03
  to,
• 23:03
  but
• 23:03
  he's
• 23:04
  also
• 23:04
  trying
• 23:04
  to
• 23:04
  do
• 23:04
  a
• 23:05
  good
• 23:05
  job
• 23:05
  as
• 23:05
  mayor.
• 23:06
  And
• 23:06
  so
• 23:06
  he's
• 23:06
  torn
• 23:07
  between
• 23:07
  that,
• 23:08
  his
• 23:08
  family
• 23:08
  life,
• 23:09
  Spider
• 23:09
  Man.
• 23:10
  And
• 23:11
  I
• 23:11
  think
• 23:11
  this
• 23:12
  is
• 23:12
  where
• 23:12
  I'm
• 23:13
  curious
• 23:13
  to
• 23:13
  see
• 23:13
  what
• 23:13
  your
• 23:13
  thoughts
• 23:14
  are
• 23:14
  here.
• 23:14
  But
• 23:14
  I
• 23:14
  think
• 23:16
  at
• 23:16
  the
• 23:16
  end
• 23:16
  of
• 23:17
  this
• 23:17
  story,
• 23:17
  because
• 23:17
  I'm
• 23:18
  thinking
• 23:18
  this
• 23:18
  is,
• 23:18
  you
• 23:19
  know,
• 23:19
  very
• 23:19
  self
• 23:19
  contained,
• 23:20
  very
• 23:20
  much
• 23:20
  like
• 23:20
  a
• 23:20
  what
• 23:21
  if
• 23:21
  episode,
• 23:22
  so
• 23:23
  plays
• 23:23
  out
• 23:23
  over
• 23:24
  a
• 23:24
  period
• 23:24
  of
• 23:24
  time.
• 23:24
  And
• 23:24
  I
• 23:25
  think
• 23:25
  toward
• 23:26
  the
• 23:26
  end
• 23:26
  of
• 23:26
  the
• 23:26
  story,
• 23:27
  Peter's
• 23:28
  at
• 23:28
  this
• 23:28
  crossroads
• 23:29
  where
• 23:29
  he
• 23:29
  really
• 23:29
  does
• 23:29
  have
• 23:29
  to
• 23:30
  choose
• 23:31
  which
• 23:31
  path
• 23:32
  to
• 23:32
  take.
• 23:32
  And
• 23:32
  I
• 23:32
  think
• 23:32
  he
• 23:33
  here,
• 23:33
  he
• 23:33
  wants
• 23:34
  to
• 23:34
  really
• 23:34
  commit
• 23:35
  himself
• 23:35
  to
• 23:35
  being
• 23:35
  mayor
• 23:36
  and
• 23:37
  tend
• 23:37
  to
• 23:37
  the
• 23:37
  city.
• 23:38
  And
• 23:38
  then
• 23:39
  while
• 23:39
  he
• 23:39
  still
• 23:39
  can
• 23:40
  be
• 23:40
  Spider
• 23:40
  man,
• 23:41
  you
• 23:41
  know,
• 23:41
  as
• 23:41
  sort
• 23:42
  of
• 23:42
  a
• 23:42
  backup
• 23:42
  or
• 23:42
  in
• 23:42
  a
• 23:43
  mentor
• 23:43
  role,
• 23:43
  I
• 23:43
  think
• 23:44
  this
• 23:44
  is
• 23:44
  where
• 23:44
  he
• 23:45
  hands
• 23:45
  the
• 23:46
  bulk
• 23:46
  of
• 23:46
  Spider
• 23:46
  man
• 23:47
  responsibilities
• 23:47
  over
• 23:48
  to
• 23:48
  Miles
• 23:48
  and
• 23:48
  lets
• 23:49
  him
• 23:49
  really
• 23:49
  take
• 23:50
  on
• 23:50
  the
• 23:50
  role
• 23:50
  for
• 23:51
  like
• 23:51
  because,
• 23:52
  you
• 23:52
  know,
• 23:52
  they're.
• 23:53
  For
• 23:53
  a
• 23:53
  long
• 23:54
  time,
• 23:54
  Peter
• 23:55
  and
• 23:55
  Miles
• 23:55
  existed
• 23:56
  in
• 23:56
  separate
• 23:56
  universes,
• 23:57
  but
• 23:57
  then
• 23:57
  they
• 23:58
  coalesce.
• 23:59
  They
• 23:59
  brought
• 23:59
  Miles
• 24:00
  into
• 24:00
  the
• 24:01
  main
• 24:01
  Marvel
• 24:01
  timeline.
• 24:02
  And
• 24:02
  so
• 24:03
  that's
• 24:03
  where
• 24:03
  I'm
• 24:03
  playing
• 24:03
  with
• 24:04
  here.
• 24:04
  And
• 24:04
  I
• 24:04
  think,
• 24:04
  like,
• 24:05
  he's
• 24:05
  ready
• 24:05
  to
• 24:06
  have
• 24:06
  Miles
• 24:06
  step
• 24:07
  up
• 24:07
  and
• 24:07
  become,
• 24:08
  you
• 24:08
  know,
• 24:08
  the
• 24:09
  Spider
• 24:09
  man
• 24:09
  and
• 24:10
  Peter
• 24:10
  take
• 24:11
  more
• 24:11
  of
• 24:11
  a
• 24:11
  mentorship
• 24:12
  role.
• 24:12
  So
• 24:12
  that's
• 24:13
  kind
• 24:13
  of
• 24:13
  my
• 24:13
  overarching
• 24:14
  idea.
• 24:14
  What
• 24:15
  are
• 24:15
  kind
• 24:15
  of
• 24:15
  your
• 24:15
  thoughts?
• 24:16
  If
• 24:16
  you
• 24:16
  have,
• 24:16
  like,
• 24:17
  anything
• 24:17
  you
• 24:17
  want
• 24:17
  to,
• 24:17
  like,
• 24:18
  throw
• 24:18
  in
• 24:18
  there
• 24:18
  too?
• 24:19
  Because
• 24:19
  I
• 24:19
  know
• 24:19
  I
• 24:19
  left
• 24:19
  plenty
• 24:20
  of
• 24:20
  gaps
• 24:20
  there.
• 24:21
  Yeah,
• 24:21
  no,
• 24:23
  kind
• 24:23
  of
• 24:23
  sort
• 24:23
  of
• 24:23
  along
• 24:24
  the
• 24:24
  lines
• 24:24
  of
• 24:24
  what
• 24:25
  you
• 24:25
  were
• 24:25
  saying.
• 24:26
  I
• 24:26
  was
• 24:27
  thinking,
• 24:28
  like,
• 24:28
  he
• 24:28
  be
• 24:29
  like,
• 24:29
  peter
• 24:29
  becomes
• 24:30
  mayor.
• 24:31
  Like,
• 24:31
  like,
• 24:32
  I'm
• 24:32
  coming,
• 24:32
  like,
• 24:33
  after
• 24:34
  whichever
• 24:35
  movie
• 24:35
  this
• 24:35
  was.
• 24:35
  When
• 24:36
  Dr.
• 24:36
  Strange
• 24:36
  kind
• 24:37
  of,
• 24:37
  like,
• 24:37
  cast
• 24:37
  that
• 24:37
  spell
• 24:38
  that
• 24:39
  wiped
• 24:39
  everybody.
• 24:40
  Yeah.
• 24:40
  Yeah.
• 24:40
  After
• 24:41
  no
• 24:41
  Way
• 24:41
  Home.
• 24:41
  Yes.
• 24:42
  No
• 24:42
  Way
• 24:42
  Home.
• 24:43
  So
• 24:43
  I'm
• 24:43
  So.
• 24:44
  Yeah.
• 24:44
  He
• 24:44
  becomes
• 24:44
  mayor
• 24:45
  after
• 24:45
  no
• 24:45
  Way
• 24:45
  Home.
• 24:45
  So
• 24:46
  nobody
• 24:46
  knows
• 24:46
  that
• 24:46
  he's
• 24:47
  also
• 24:47
  Spider
• 24:48
  Man.
• 24:49
  And
• 24:49
  so,
• 24:49
  like,
• 24:50
  kind
• 24:50
  of
• 24:50
  like
• 24:50
  a
• 24:50
  clean
• 24:51
  slate,
• 24:51
  sort
• 24:51
  of.
• 24:52
  I
• 24:52
  guess
• 24:53
  so.
• 24:54
  Yeah.
• 24:55
  And
• 24:55
  he's,
• 24:55
  like,
• 24:56
  struggling
• 24:57
  between,
• 24:58
  like,
• 24:58
  balancing.
• 24:59
  Wanting,
• 24:59
  like,
• 24:59
  being
• 25:00
  mayor,
• 25:00
  but
• 25:00
  also,
• 25:00
  like,
• 25:01
  showing
• 25:01
  up
• 25:01
  as
• 25:01
  Spider
• 25:02
  man
• 25:02
  at
• 25:02
  the
• 25:02
  same
• 25:02
  time
• 25:03
  because
• 25:03
  things
• 25:03
  are
• 25:04
  catching
• 25:04
  up.
• 25:05
  And
• 25:06
  so
• 25:07
  I
• 25:07
  didn't
• 25:07
  really
• 25:07
  get
• 25:07
  far
• 25:08
  with
• 25:08
  my
• 25:08
  thought,
• 25:08
  but,
• 25:09
  yeah,
• 25:09
  mainly
• 25:09
  him
• 25:09
  struggling
• 25:10
  with
• 25:11
  balancing
• 25:11
  the
• 25:11
  two,
• 25:12
  and
• 25:12
  then
• 25:12
  also,
• 25:13
  like,
• 25:13
  eventually
• 25:15
  realizing,
• 25:15
  well,
• 25:16
  hey,
• 25:16
  I
• 25:16
  got.
• 25:16
  I
• 25:16
  can't
• 25:17
  be
• 25:17
  both.
• 25:18
  I
• 25:18
  gotta
• 25:18
  pick
• 25:18
  one.
• 25:19
  And
• 25:19
  then
• 25:20
  here
• 25:20
  comes
• 25:21
  Miles.
• 25:21
  Somehow
• 25:22
  in
• 25:22
  the
• 25:22
  storyline.
• 25:25
  He,
• 25:26
  like,
• 25:26
  Miles
• 25:27
  becomes
• 25:27
  his
• 25:27
  apprentice,
• 25:28
  and
• 25:28
  he,
• 25:28
  like,
• 25:28
  helps
• 25:28
  him
• 25:29
  be
• 25:29
  the
• 25:29
  next
• 25:30
  new
• 25:30
  Spider
• 25:30
  man
• 25:31
  for
• 25:31
  nyc.
• 25:32
  So
• 25:32
  that
• 25:32
  was
• 25:33
  what
• 25:33
  I
• 25:33
  was
• 25:33
  thinking.
• 25:33
  I
• 25:33
  also
• 25:34
  had
• 25:34
  gaps
• 25:34
  in
• 25:34
  there,
• 25:34
  but
• 25:35
  that
• 25:35
  was
• 25:35
  basically,
• 25:36
  like,
• 25:36
  my
• 25:36
  thoughts.
• 25:38
  That's
• 25:38
  actually
• 25:38
  a
• 25:39
  great
• 25:39
  idea,
• 25:39
  I
• 25:39
  think,
• 25:39
  for
• 25:40
  the
• 25:40
  mcu,
• 25:40
  because
• 25:41
  I
• 25:41
  think,
• 25:41
  like,
• 25:41
  I
• 25:41
  was
• 25:41
  coming
• 25:42
  at
• 25:42
  this,
• 25:42
  like,
• 25:42
  from
• 25:42
  our
• 25:43
  comics,
• 25:43
  but.
• 25:43
  That's.
• 25:43
  Right.
• 25:43
  I
• 25:44
  mean,
• 25:44
  again,
• 25:44
  going
• 25:44
  back
• 25:45
  to
• 25:45
  Spider
• 25:45
  man
• 25:47
  has
• 25:47
  different
• 25:47
  mediums.
• 25:48
  That's
• 25:48
  actually
• 25:48
  a
• 25:49
  great
• 25:49
  point
• 25:49
  because,
• 25:50
  yeah,
• 25:50
  I.
• 25:50
  It
• 25:51
  makes
• 25:51
  me
• 25:51
  really
• 25:51
  interested
• 25:52
  in
• 25:52
  seeing
• 25:52
  what
• 25:53
  they're
• 25:53
  gonna
• 25:53
  do
• 25:53
  with
• 25:53
  Brand
• 25:54
  New
• 25:54
  Day
• 25:54
  next
• 25:54
  year.
• 25:56
  Because,
• 25:56
  like,
• 25:57
  no
• 25:57
  Way
• 25:58
  Home
• 25:58
  does
• 25:58
  change
• 25:59
  everything.
• 25:59
  Yeah.
• 25:59
  Peter
• 26:00
  Parker.
• 26:00
  And
• 26:02
  this
• 26:02
  is.
• 26:02
  That
• 26:03
  would
• 26:03
  actually
• 26:03
  be
• 26:03
  a
• 26:03
  perfect
• 26:03
  storyline
• 26:04
  too.
• 26:04
  Like,
• 26:05
  I
• 26:05
  love
• 26:05
  that
• 26:05
  idea
• 26:05
  where
• 26:06
  it's
• 26:06
  like,
• 26:06
  you
• 26:06
  let
• 26:07
  some
• 26:07
  time
• 26:07
  pass,
• 26:07
  he's
• 26:08
  trying
• 26:08
  to
• 26:08
  figure
• 26:08
  out
• 26:08
  what
• 26:08
  to
• 26:08
  do
• 26:09
  next.
• 26:09
  And
• 26:09
  then,
• 26:09
  yeah,
• 26:10
  like,
• 26:10
  I
• 26:10
  mean,
• 26:10
  that
• 26:11
  would
• 26:11
  be
• 26:11
  a
• 26:11
  perfect
• 26:11
  way
• 26:11
  to
• 26:12
  bring
• 26:12
  in
• 26:12
  Miles
• 26:12
  and.
• 26:13
  And,
• 26:14
  you
• 26:14
  know,
• 26:14
  he
• 26:14
  tries
• 26:14
  to,
• 26:16
  you
• 26:16
  know,
• 26:16
  like,
• 26:17
  enters
• 26:17
  politics,
• 26:18
  he
• 26:18
  goes
• 26:18
  mayor,
• 26:19
  and
• 26:19
  then.
• 26:20
  Yeah,
• 26:20
  that
• 26:20
  paves
• 26:21
  the
• 26:21
  way
• 26:21
  for
• 26:22
  him.
• 26:23
  So
• 26:23
  I
• 26:23
  really
• 26:23
  love
• 26:24
  that.
• 26:24
  I
• 26:24
  mean,
• 26:24
  I,
• 26:24
  like,
• 26:25
  I
• 26:25
  think
• 26:25
  that
• 26:25
  because.
• 26:25
  Because
• 26:26
  there
• 26:26
  are
• 26:26
  so
• 26:26
  many
• 26:27
  lingering
• 26:27
  threads
• 26:28
  there
• 26:28
  after
• 26:28
  no
• 26:29
  way
• 26:29
  home.
• 26:29
  And,
• 26:29
  you
• 26:30
  know,
• 26:30
  where
• 26:30
  does
• 26:30
  he
• 26:30
  go
• 26:30
  from
• 26:31
  here?
• 26:31
  And
• 26:32
  also,
• 26:32
  you
• 26:33
  know,
• 26:33
  we.
• 26:33
  We
• 26:33
  both
• 26:34
  have
• 26:34
  the
• 26:34
  idea
• 26:34
  of,
• 26:34
  you
• 26:35
  know,
• 26:35
  it's
• 26:35
  in
• 26:35
  the
• 26:35
  wake
• 26:36
  of
• 26:36
  Aunt
• 26:36
  May's
• 26:36
  death
• 26:37
  and,
• 26:37
  you
• 26:37
  know,
• 26:38
  the
• 26:38
  weight
• 26:38
  that
• 26:38
  that
• 26:39
  has
• 26:39
  on
• 26:39
  his
• 26:40
  shoulders.
• 26:40
  And,
• 26:41
  you
• 26:41
  know,
• 26:41
  it
• 26:41
  does
• 26:42
  really
• 26:42
  put
• 26:43
  him
• 26:43
  at
• 26:43
  a
• 26:44
  turning
• 26:44
  point
• 26:44
  in
• 26:44
  his
• 26:45
  life.
• 26:45
  Yeah,
• 26:46
  I
• 26:47
  like
• 26:47
  that
• 26:47
  a
• 26:47
  lot.
• 26:48
  Do
• 26:48
  you
• 26:48
  have,
• 26:49
  like.
• 26:49
  I
• 26:49
  know
• 26:49
  I
• 26:49
  mentioned,
• 26:50
  like,
• 26:50
  hammerhead
• 26:51
  and
• 26:51
  Mr.
• 26:51
  Negative
• 26:52
  here
• 26:52
  as
• 26:52
  kind
• 26:52
  of,
• 26:53
  like,
• 26:53
  prison
• 26:53
  crime
• 26:53
  lords.
• 26:54
  Are
• 26:54
  there
• 26:54
  any
• 26:54
  other.
• 26:55
  Because
• 26:55
  I.
• 26:55
  You
• 26:55
  grow
• 26:56
  up
• 26:56
  on,
• 26:56
  like,
• 26:56
  the
• 26:56
  cartoons
• 26:56
  and
• 26:57
  stuff,
• 26:57
  too.
• 26:57
  Are
• 26:57
  there
• 26:58
  any
• 26:58
  other
• 26:58
  villains
• 26:59
  you
• 26:59
  would
• 26:59
  want
• 26:59
  to
• 26:59
  see
• 27:00
  in
• 27:01
  this
• 27:02
  storyline
• 27:02
  play
• 27:03
  out?
• 27:04
  Yeah,
• 27:05
  I
• 27:05
  would.
• 27:09
  Sandman
• 27:10
  comes
• 27:10
  to
• 27:10
  mind.
• 27:11
  Yeah.
• 27:13
  Who
• 27:13
  else?
• 27:14
  Who
• 27:15
  else
• 27:15
  will
• 27:15
  be
• 27:15
  good?
• 27:17
  Oh.
• 27:19
  I
• 27:19
  think
• 27:19
  it
• 27:20
  would
• 27:20
  be
• 27:20
  funny
• 27:20
  to
• 27:20
  have.
• 27:21
  I
• 27:21
  forgot
• 27:22
  his
• 27:22
  name,
• 27:22
  but.
• 27:22
  The
• 27:22
  Rhino
• 27:23
  guy.
• 27:24
  Oh,
• 27:24
  yeah.
• 27:24
  Rhino.
• 27:25
  Yeah,
• 27:25
  yeah.
• 27:25
  It's
• 27:25
  just
• 27:25
  right
• 27:26
  now.
• 27:26
  Yeah,
• 27:26
  I
• 27:26
  think
• 27:26
  I
• 27:26
  got
• 27:26
  that
• 27:26
  from
• 27:27
  the
• 27:27
  video
• 27:27
  game.
• 27:28
  I
• 27:28
  don't
• 27:28
  know.
• 27:29
  He's
• 27:29
  great
• 27:29
  in
• 27:29
  the
• 27:29
  video
• 27:30
  game.
• 27:30
  Yeah,
• 27:30
  yeah,
• 27:30
  yeah,
• 27:31
  yeah,
• 27:32
  yeah.
• 27:32
  I
• 27:32
  think
• 27:33
  that
• 27:33
  would
• 27:33
  be
• 27:33
  cool,
• 27:33
  especially
• 27:33
  with,
• 27:34
  like,
• 27:34
  him
• 27:35
  and
• 27:35
  Miles,
• 27:36
  like,
• 27:36
  teaming
• 27:37
  up.
• 27:38
  Like
• 27:38
  a
• 27:38
  little
• 27:39
  street
• 27:39
  race
• 27:39
  type,
• 27:40
  street
• 27:40
  chase
• 27:41
  type
• 27:41
  thing.
• 27:42
  And
• 27:42
  that
• 27:42
  could
• 27:42
  be,
• 27:42
  like,
• 27:43
  their
• 27:43
  first
• 27:43
  meet.
• 27:44
  Like,
• 27:44
  Peter
• 27:45
  would
• 27:45
  be
• 27:45
  really
• 27:45
  in
• 27:45
  trouble.
• 27:46
  And
• 27:46
  then
• 27:46
  here
• 27:46
  comes
• 27:46
  Miles,
• 27:47
  and
• 27:47
  then
• 27:48
  Miles
• 27:48
  is
• 27:49
  like,
• 27:49
  wait,
• 27:49
  you're
• 27:49
  the
• 27:49
  mayor?
• 27:50
  Like,
• 27:50
  that'd
• 27:50
  be
• 27:51
  cool.
• 27:52
  That
• 27:52
  would
• 27:52
  be
• 27:52
  awesome,
• 27:53
  actually.
• 27:53
  Oh,
• 27:54
  I
• 27:54
  love
• 27:54
  it.
• 27:54
  Yeah.
• 27:56
  Who
• 27:56
  else
• 27:56
  will
• 27:56
  be
• 27:56
  getting
• 27:57
  there?
• 27:58
  Goblin.
• 27:59
  The
• 28:00
  Goblin.
• 28:00
  Oh,
• 28:00
  yeah.
• 28:01
  Oh,
• 28:01
  yeah,
• 28:01
  yeah,
• 28:02
  yeah.
• 28:02
  He
• 28:03
  has
• 28:03
  to
• 28:03
  be
• 28:03
  in
• 28:03
  there.
• 28:05
  Yeah.
• 28:06
  I
• 28:06
  mean,
• 28:06
  that's
• 28:06
  all
• 28:06
  I
• 28:06
  could
• 28:07
  think
• 28:07
  of,
• 28:07
  really.
• 28:08
  That
• 28:08
  would
• 28:08
  be
• 28:08
  good.
• 28:09
  Maybe
• 28:10
  the
• 28:10
  Kingpin.
• 28:11
  Yeah,
• 28:12
  yeah.
• 28:12
  Maybe
• 28:12
  Kingpin
• 28:14
  try
• 28:14
  to,
• 28:14
  like,
• 28:16
  start
• 28:16
  a
• 28:16
  coup
• 28:17
  against
• 28:18
  Peter's
• 28:19
  thing.
• 28:20
  Or
• 28:20
  they
• 28:20
  could
• 28:21
  be,
• 28:21
  like.
• 28:22
  What's
• 28:23
  it
• 28:23
  called?
• 28:24
  Running
• 28:24
  against
• 28:24
  each
• 28:24
  other.
• 28:26
  Yeah,
• 28:26
  yeah,
• 28:26
  yeah,
• 28:27
  yeah.
• 28:28
  Because
• 28:28
  it's
• 28:28
  one
• 28:28
  of
• 28:28
  those,
• 28:29
  right?
• 28:29
  Like,
• 28:29
  is
• 28:29
  like.
• 28:30
  Yeah.
• 28:30
  Kingpin
• 28:31
  was
• 28:31
  mayor
• 28:31
  in
• 28:31
  the
• 28:32
  comics
• 28:32
  for
• 28:32
  a
• 28:32
  while,
• 28:32
  and
• 28:32
  he
• 28:33
  had
• 28:33
  actually
• 28:33
  Matt
• 28:34
  Murdock
• 28:34
  as
• 28:34
  his
• 28:34
  deputy
• 28:35
  mayor.
• 28:35
  It
• 28:35
  was
• 28:35
  a
• 28:35
  really
• 28:35
  cool
• 28:36
  story,
• 28:36
  but.
• 28:36
  But
• 28:37
  they
• 28:37
  obviously
• 28:37
  haven't
• 28:38
  done
• 28:38
  that
• 28:38
  in.
• 28:38
  Well,
• 28:39
  no,
• 28:39
  actually.
• 28:39
  Well,
• 28:40
  I
• 28:40
  take
• 28:40
  them
• 28:40
  back.
• 28:40
  They've
• 28:40
  done
• 28:41
  it
• 28:41
  in
• 28:41
  Daredevil.
• 28:42
  They
• 28:42
  haven't
• 28:42
  brought
• 28:42
  that
• 28:43
  into
• 28:43
  the
• 28:44
  movies
• 28:44
  yet.
• 28:44
  But,
• 28:44
  like.
• 28:45
  But
• 28:45
  Kingpin
• 28:46
  is
• 28:46
  mayor
• 28:46
  in
• 28:47
  Daredevil
• 28:47
  born
• 28:48
  again
• 28:48
  right
• 28:48
  now.
• 28:49
  And
• 28:49
  so
• 28:50
  there's.
• 28:50
  Yeah,
• 28:51
  there's
• 28:51
  a
• 28:51
  lot
• 28:51
  that
• 28:51
  could
• 28:51
  do
• 28:51
  there,
• 28:53
  I
• 28:53
  think,
• 28:54
  in
• 28:54
  both
• 28:54
  these
• 28:54
  cases,
• 28:55
  you
• 28:55
  know,
• 28:55
  because
• 28:56
  I
• 28:56
  don't
• 28:56
  know
• 28:57
  if
• 28:57
  you
• 28:57
  watch
• 28:57
  Daredevil
• 28:57
  born
• 28:58
  again,
• 28:58
  but
• 28:59
  it's
• 28:59
  like,
• 28:59
  we're
• 28:59
  in
• 29:00
  the
• 29:00
  mcu.
• 29:01
  So,
• 29:01
  yeah,
• 29:01
  Kingpin
• 29:02
  is
• 29:02
  mayor
• 29:02
  right
• 29:02
  now,
• 29:03
  but
• 29:03
  it's
• 29:04
  where
• 29:04
  season
• 29:04
  one
• 29:05
  leaves
• 29:05
  it.
• 29:06
  And
• 29:06
  setting
• 29:07
  up
• 29:07
  for
• 29:07
  season
• 29:07
  two
• 29:07
  is
• 29:08
  Daredevil.
• 29:09
  And
• 29:09
  Some
• 29:09
  of
• 29:09
  the
• 29:09
  heroes
• 29:10
  are
• 29:10
  joining
• 29:11
  forces
• 29:11
  to
• 29:11
  try
• 29:12
  to
• 29:12
  take
• 29:12
  him
• 29:12
  down
• 29:13
  in
• 29:13
  season
• 29:13
  two.
• 29:14
  So
• 29:14
  I
• 29:14
  think
• 29:15
  in
• 29:15
  season
• 29:16
  two
• 29:16
  will
• 29:16
  come
• 29:16
  out
• 29:17
  before
• 29:18
  Spider
• 29:18
  Man.
• 29:18
  Brand
• 29:18
  new
• 29:18
  day.
• 29:19
  And
• 29:19
  so
• 29:20
  I
• 29:20
  think
• 29:20
  with
• 29:20
  that,
• 29:21
  it
• 29:21
  would
• 29:21
  be
• 29:22
  a
• 29:22
  great,
• 29:22
  like,
• 29:23
  opportunity
• 29:23
  there
• 29:23
  for,
• 29:24
  you
• 29:24
  know,
• 29:24
  a
• 29:24
  slightly
• 29:25
  older
• 29:25
  Peter
• 29:26
  to
• 29:27
  then,
• 29:27
  you
• 29:27
  know,
• 29:27
  once
• 29:28
  Kingpin
• 29:28
  gets
• 29:29
  taken
• 29:29
  down,
• 29:29
  he,
• 29:30
  you
• 29:30
  know,
• 29:30
  steps
• 29:31
  into
• 29:31
  this
• 29:31
  role.
• 29:32
  So,
• 29:33
  yeah,
• 29:33
  it
• 29:33
  would
• 29:33
  be
• 29:33
  really
• 29:34
  cool.
• 29:34
  Yeah.
• 29:35
  But,
• 29:35
  yeah,
• 29:36
  but
• 29:36
  I
• 29:36
  love
• 29:36
  that
• 29:37
  idea.
• 29:37
  I
• 29:37
  mean,
• 29:37
  there's
• 29:38
  so
• 29:38
  much
• 29:38
  fun
• 29:38
  we
• 29:38
  could
• 29:39
  have
• 29:39
  with
• 29:39
  these,
• 29:39
  I
• 29:39
  feel
• 29:39
  like,
• 29:40
  you
• 29:40
  know,
• 29:40
  and
• 29:41
  I
• 29:41
  would
• 29:41
  love
• 29:41
  to
• 29:42
  hear
• 29:42
  people
• 29:42
  in
• 29:42
  the
• 29:43
  comments
• 29:43
  too,
• 29:43
  like,
• 29:43
  see
• 29:44
  what
• 29:44
  their
• 29:44
  thoughts
• 29:44
  are.
• 29:45
  But
• 29:46
  yeah,
• 29:46
  I
• 29:46
  mean,
• 29:46
  I
• 29:46
  like
• 29:47
  and
• 29:47
  I.
• 29:48
  It's.
• 29:48
  The
• 29:48
  one
• 29:48
  thing
• 29:49
  is
• 29:50
  Christian
• 29:51
  and
• 29:51
  I
• 29:51
  have
• 29:51
  had
• 29:51
  this
• 29:51
  conversation
• 29:52
  about
• 29:52
  like
• 29:52
  Spider
• 29:52
  man
• 29:53
  and
• 29:53
  Batman
• 29:53
  of
• 29:53
  like,
• 29:54
  you
• 29:54
  know,
• 29:55
  can
• 29:55
  they
• 29:55
  ever
• 29:55
  be
• 29:56
  happy?
• 29:56
  And
• 29:56
  I
• 29:56
  think
• 29:56
  they
• 29:57
  certainly
• 29:58
  can.
• 29:58
  And
• 29:59
  like
• 29:59
  I
• 29:59
  said,
• 30:00
  I
• 30:00
  don't
• 30:00
  think
• 30:01
  it's
• 30:01
  necessarily
• 30:01
  in
• 30:02
  both
• 30:02
  of
• 30:02
  our
• 30:02
  ideas
• 30:03
  here,
• 30:03
  Peter
• 30:04
  has
• 30:04
  to
• 30:04
  completely
• 30:04
  give
• 30:04
  up
• 30:05
  being
• 30:05
  Spider
• 30:05
  man,
• 30:06
  but
• 30:06
  he
• 30:06
  again
• 30:07
  is
• 30:07
  moving
• 30:07
  into
• 30:07
  sort
• 30:08
  of
• 30:08
  a
• 30:08
  mentorship
• 30:09
  role
• 30:10
  and
• 30:10
  letting
• 30:10
  Miles
• 30:11
  take
• 30:11
  the
• 30:11
  reign.
• 30:11
  So
• 30:11
  it
• 30:11
  is
• 30:12
  more
• 30:12
  of
• 30:12
  a
• 30:12
  passing
• 30:13
  the
• 30:13
  torch
• 30:14
  that
• 30:14
  allows
• 30:15
  him
• 30:15
  to.
• 30:15
  Because
• 30:16
  again,
• 30:16
  I
• 30:16
  think
• 30:16
  the
• 30:17
  whole
• 30:17
  genesis
• 30:18
  here
• 30:18
  is
• 30:19
  that
• 30:19
  he
• 30:19
  wants
• 30:19
  to
• 30:20
  make
• 30:20
  a
• 30:20
  lasting
• 30:20
  impact
• 30:21
  on
• 30:22
  the
• 30:22
  city
• 30:22
  and
• 30:22
  not
• 30:23
  just
• 30:23
  be
• 30:23
  your
• 30:24
  friendly
• 30:24
  neighborhood
• 30:24
  spider
• 30:25
  mans
• 30:25
  forever
• 30:25
  and
• 30:25
  just
• 30:25
  put
• 30:26
  away
• 30:26
  bad
• 30:26
  guys,
• 30:26
  but
• 30:27
  also,
• 30:27
  you
• 30:28
  know,
• 30:28
  utilize
• 30:30
  his
• 30:30
  past,
• 30:31
  his
• 30:31
  experiences,
• 30:32
  his,
• 30:33
  his
• 30:33
  influence
• 30:34
  to
• 30:35
  also
• 30:36
  help,
• 30:36
  you
• 30:36
  know,
• 30:37
  everyday
• 30:37
  people.
• 30:37
  Because,
• 30:38
  uh,
• 30:39
  that's,
• 30:39
  you
• 30:39
  know,
• 30:39
  that's
• 30:39
  what
• 30:40
  makes
• 30:40
  him
• 30:40
  the
• 30:40
  opposite
• 30:41
  of
• 30:41
  someone
• 30:41
  like
• 30:41
  Kingpin
• 30:42
  is,
• 30:42
  you
• 30:42
  know,
• 30:42
  he
• 30:42
  comes
• 30:42
  from
• 30:43
  these
• 30:44
  humble
• 30:44
  roots
• 30:45
  and
• 30:45
  you
• 30:45
  know,
• 30:45
  he
• 30:45
  knows
• 30:46
  what
• 30:46
  it's
• 30:46
  like
• 30:46
  to
• 30:46
  struggle
• 30:47
  and
• 30:48
  he
• 30:48
  doesn't
• 30:48
  have
• 30:48
  massive
• 30:49
  power
• 30:49
  and
• 30:49
  he's
• 30:50
  used
• 30:50
  to
• 30:50
  living
• 30:51
  paycheck
• 30:52
  to
• 30:52
  paycheck
• 30:52
  and
• 30:52
  trying
• 30:53
  to
• 30:53
  pay
• 30:53
  rent.
• 30:53
  And
• 30:54
  he
• 30:55
  knows
• 30:55
  the
• 30:55
  struggles
• 30:55
  of
• 30:56
  an
• 30:56
  everyday
• 30:57
  citizen
• 30:57
  that
• 30:58
  he
• 30:58
  wants
• 30:58
  to,
• 31:00
  you
• 31:00
  know,
• 31:00
  help
• 31:00
  them.
• 31:01
  And
• 31:01
  so
• 31:01
  that's
• 31:02
  where
• 31:02
  he
• 31:02
  can
• 31:02
  really
• 31:02
  focus
• 31:03
  on
• 31:03
  and
• 31:03
  then
• 31:04
  let
• 31:04
  Miles,
• 31:05
  you
• 31:05
  know,
• 31:05
  take
• 31:05
  over
• 31:06
  main
• 31:07
  superhero
• 31:08
  responsibilities.
• 31:09
  Yeah,
• 31:10
  I
• 31:10
  like
• 31:10
  it.
• 31:11
  I
• 31:11
  like
• 31:11
  it.
• 31:12
  Yeah.
• 31:12
  Interesting.
• 31:13
  For
• 31:13
  sure.
• 31:14
  Yeah.
• 31:14
  Yeah.
• 31:16
  And
• 31:16
  Alec,
• 31:16
  do
• 31:17
  you
• 31:17
  like
• 31:17
  the
• 31:17
  idea
• 31:18
  of
• 31:18
  like
• 31:18
  Peter
• 31:19
  and
• 31:19
  MJ
• 31:20
  ending
• 31:20
  up
• 31:20
  together
• 31:21
  and
• 31:21
  being
• 31:21
  happy
• 31:21
  or
• 31:22
  like
• 31:22
  you
• 31:22
  have
• 31:22
  like
• 31:23
  another.
• 31:23
  Like,
• 31:24
  like
• 31:24
  he
• 31:25
  does
• 31:25
  have
• 31:25
  other
• 31:25
  love
• 31:25
  interests
• 31:26
  and
• 31:26
  stuff
• 31:26
  or
• 31:26
  like
• 31:26
  he
• 31:27
  does
• 31:27
  for
• 31:27
  him
• 31:28
  settling
• 31:28
  down
• 31:29
  with
• 31:29
  someone
• 31:29
  or
• 31:30
  being
• 31:30
  alone?
• 31:30
  Like,
• 31:30
  what's
• 31:31
  kind
• 31:31
  of
• 31:31
  your
• 31:31
  thoughts
• 31:31
  there?
• 31:31
  I
• 31:32
  think
• 31:32
  he
• 31:32
  deserves
• 31:33
  to
• 31:33
  settle
• 31:33
  with
• 31:33
  somebody.
• 31:34
  Yeah,
• 31:34
  yeah,
• 31:34
  yeah.
• 31:35
  Especially
• 31:35
  with
• 31:35
  all
• 31:35
  the
• 31:35
  CR
• 31:36
  that
• 31:36
  he
• 31:36
  has
• 31:36
  to
• 31:36
  go
• 31:37
  through.
• 31:38
  Right,
• 31:38
  right.
• 31:38
  He
• 31:39
  deserves
• 31:39
  to
• 31:40
  at
• 31:40
  least
• 31:40
  settle
• 31:40
  down
• 31:41
  with
• 31:41
  somebody.
• 31:42
  And
• 31:42
  for
• 31:43
  me,
• 31:43
  it's
• 31:43
  always
• 31:43
  been
• 31:44
  mj,
• 31:45
  like
• 31:45
  growing
• 31:45
  up,
• 31:46
  MJ
• 31:46
  was
• 31:47
  always
• 31:47
  the
• 31:47
  love
• 31:48
  interest
• 31:49
  I
• 31:49
  have,
• 31:49
  like,
• 31:49
  who's
• 31:50
  Gwen
• 31:50
  Stacy,
• 31:50
  respectfully.
• 31:53
  But
• 31:54
  yeah,
• 31:54
  so
• 31:55
  I
• 31:55
  prefer
• 31:55
  MJ
• 31:55
  because
• 31:56
  that's
• 31:56
  who
• 31:56
  I'm
• 31:56
  used
• 31:56
  to.
• 31:57
  Yeah.
• 31:59
  Yeah.
• 32:00
  I
• 32:00
  think
• 32:01
  there's.
• 32:01
  Be
• 32:01
  happy
• 32:02
  with
• 32:02
  somebody.
• 32:02
  Yes.
• 32:03
  Oh
• 32:03
  absolutely.
• 32:05
  One
• 32:05
  I
• 32:05
  think
• 32:05
  especially
• 32:05
  with
• 32:06
  our
• 32:06
  growing
• 32:06
  up
• 32:07
  like
• 32:07
  in
• 32:08
  the
• 32:08
  cartoons
• 32:09
  and
• 32:09
  in
• 32:09
  the
• 32:09
  movies.
• 32:09
  Like
• 32:10
  I
• 32:10
  know
• 32:10
  they
• 32:10
  brought
• 32:10
  Gwen
• 32:11
  Stacy
• 32:11
  in
• 32:11
  the
• 32:11
  Andrew
• 32:12
  Garfield
• 32:12
  movies
• 32:13
  but
• 32:13
  I
• 32:13
  think
• 32:13
  the
• 32:13
  big
• 32:14
  reason
• 32:14
  they
• 32:14
  didn't
• 32:14
  have
• 32:15
  her
• 32:15
  in
• 32:15
  like
• 32:15
  the
• 32:16
  90s
• 32:16
  cartoons
• 32:17
  and
• 32:17
  like
• 32:18
  the
• 32:18
  Raimi
• 32:18
  Toby
• 32:19
  movie.
• 32:19
  Well,
• 32:19
  they
• 32:20
  did
• 32:20
  have
• 32:20
  her
• 32:20
  in
• 32:20
  the
• 32:21
  third
• 32:21
  one
• 32:21
  but
• 32:21
  it
• 32:21
  was
• 32:22
  kind
• 32:22
  of
• 32:22
  like
• 32:22
  it
• 32:22
  was
• 32:23
  really
• 32:23
  underdeveloped.
• 32:24
  But.
• 32:24
  But
• 32:24
  in
• 32:25
  the
• 32:25
  cartoon
• 32:25
  stuff
• 32:26
  because
• 32:26
  she
• 32:27
  has
• 32:27
  that
• 32:27
  Gwen
• 32:27
  Stacy
• 32:28
  has
• 32:28
  this
• 32:28
  tree
• 32:28
  of
• 32:28
  she
• 32:29
  does
• 32:29
  die
• 32:29
  which
• 32:30
  they.
• 32:31
  She's
• 32:31
  killed
• 32:31
  by
• 32:32
  the
• 32:32
  Green
• 32:32
  Goblin.
• 32:32
  And
• 32:32
  they
• 32:33
  did
• 32:33
  that
• 32:33
  in
• 32:33
  the
• 32:34
  amazing
• 32:34
  Spider
• 32:34
  Man
• 32:35
  2.
• 32:35
  But
• 32:35
  that's
• 32:36
  obviously
• 32:36
  a
• 32:36
  really
• 32:36
  dark
• 32:36
  storyline
• 32:37
  to
• 32:37
  like
• 32:37
  head
• 32:37
  over
• 32:38
  to
• 32:38
  kids
• 32:38
  and.
• 32:39
  And
• 32:39
  Gwen's
• 32:39
  been
• 32:39
  fascinating
• 32:40
  because
• 32:41
  yeah,
• 32:41
  she
• 32:42
  was
• 32:42
  dead
• 32:42
  in
• 32:42
  the
• 32:42
  comics
• 32:43
  for
• 32:43
  a
• 32:43
  long
• 32:43
  time
• 32:43
  and
• 32:44
  then
• 32:44
  they.
• 32:45
  With
• 32:45
  you
• 32:45
  know,
• 32:46
  the
• 32:46
  multiverse
• 32:46
  and
• 32:47
  the
• 32:47
  ultimate
• 32:47
  universe
• 32:47
  and
• 32:47
  all
• 32:47
  that,
• 32:48
  they
• 32:48
  brought
• 32:49
  her
• 32:49
  back
• 32:49
  as,
• 32:50
  as.
• 32:50
  Oh
• 32:51
  I
• 32:51
  know,
• 32:51
  I
• 32:51
  know
• 32:51
  it's.
• 32:52
  It's
• 32:52
  a
• 32:52
  headache
• 32:52
  inducing
• 32:52
  thing.
• 32:53
  But
• 32:53
  also
• 32:53
  that
• 32:54
  paved
• 32:54
  the
• 32:54
  way
• 32:54
  for
• 32:55
  Spider
• 32:55
  Gwen
• 32:56
  which
• 32:56
  is
• 32:56
  one
• 32:56
  of
• 32:56
  the
• 32:56
  best
• 32:57
  characters
• 32:57
  and
• 32:57
  that's
• 32:57
  what
• 32:58
  I
• 32:58
  love
• 32:58
  about
• 32:58
  the.
• 32:59
  The
• 32:59
  Spider
• 32:59
  Verse
• 33:00
  movies
• 33:00
  is
• 33:00
  like
• 33:01
  she's
• 33:01
  excellent
• 33:02
  there.
• 33:02
  And
• 33:02
  so
• 33:03
  that's
• 33:03
  kind
• 33:03
  of,
• 33:03
  I
• 33:04
  mean
• 33:04
  I
• 33:04
  think
• 33:04
  like
• 33:05
  you
• 33:05
  know
• 33:05
  this
• 33:06
  new
• 33:06
  generation,
• 33:07
  that's
• 33:07
  how
• 33:07
  they're
• 33:07
  going
• 33:08
  to
• 33:08
  know
• 33:08
  Gwen
• 33:08
  Stacy
• 33:08
  is
• 33:09
  as
• 33:09
  the
• 33:10
  cool
• 33:10
  Spider
• 33:10
  Gwen
• 33:10
  from
• 33:11
  both
• 33:11
  like
• 33:11
  the
• 33:11
  Spider
• 33:12
  Verse
• 33:12
  movies
• 33:13
  and
• 33:13
  then.
• 33:13
  And
• 33:13
  the
• 33:14
  comics
• 33:14
  and
• 33:14
  then
• 33:15
  even
• 33:15
  my,
• 33:16
  my
• 33:16
  nephews
• 33:16
  watch
• 33:17
  Spidey
• 33:18
  and
• 33:18
  his
• 33:18
  amazing
• 33:18
  friends
• 33:18
  on
• 33:19
  Disney
• 33:19
  plus
• 33:19
  and,
• 33:20
  and
• 33:20
  it's
• 33:20
  a
• 33:21
  team
• 33:21
  of
• 33:22
  Peter,
• 33:22
  Miles
• 33:23
  and
• 33:23
  Gwen
• 33:24
  and
• 33:24
  they're
• 33:24
  all.
• 33:24
  And
• 33:24
  so
• 33:25
  like
• 33:25
  they're
• 33:25
  going
• 33:26
  to
• 33:26
  grow
• 33:26
  up
• 33:26
  knowing
• 33:26
  them
• 33:27
  probably
• 33:27
  even
• 33:28
  more
• 33:28
  than
• 33:28
  Peter
• 33:28
  and
• 33:28
  mj.
• 33:29
  So
• 33:29
  it
• 33:29
  is
• 33:29
  really
• 33:30
  cool
• 33:30
  that
• 33:30
  you
• 33:30
  know.
• 33:31
  Yeah,
• 33:31
  there
• 33:32
  is.
• 33:32
  Yeah.
• 33:32
  I
• 33:33
  forgot
• 33:33
  that
• 33:33
  she
• 33:34
  came
• 33:34
  back
• 33:34
  as
• 33:34
  Spider
• 33:35
  Gwen.
• 33:35
  Now
• 33:35
  that
• 33:35
  I
• 33:35
  think
• 33:35
  of.
• 33:37
  Yeah.
• 33:37
  Yeah,
• 33:37
  that's
• 33:38
  it.
• 33:38
  Well,
• 33:38
  I
• 33:39
  mean
• 33:39
  because
• 33:39
  it
• 33:39
  is.
• 33:39
  It's
• 33:40
  such
• 33:40
  a
• 33:40
  different
• 33:40
  version
• 33:41
  of
• 33:41
  her
• 33:41
  than
• 33:41
  like
• 33:42
  the
• 33:42
  one
• 33:42
  from
• 33:43
  70s
• 33:44
  and
• 33:44
  80s.
• 33:44
  Oh
• 33:45
  yeah.
• 33:45
  And
• 33:45
  so
• 33:46
  like.
• 33:46
  But
• 33:46
  I
• 33:47
  love
• 33:47
  what
• 33:47
  they
• 33:47
  do
• 33:47
  with
• 33:47
  her
• 33:47
  there.
• 33:48
  So.
• 33:48
  Yeah,
• 33:49
  it's
• 33:49
  so
• 33:49
  cool.
• 33:50
  But.
• 33:51
  But
• 33:51
  yeah,
• 33:51
  this
• 33:51
  is.
• 33:52
  I
• 33:52
  like,
• 33:52
  I
• 33:52
  feel
• 33:53
  like
• 33:53
  we've
• 33:53
  got
• 33:53
  you
• 33:53
  know,
• 33:54
  really
• 33:55
  some
• 33:55
  ideas
• 33:55
  here
• 33:56
  on
• 33:56
  like
• 33:56
  themes
• 33:56
  where
• 33:57
  the
• 33:57
  story
• 33:57
  wants
• 33:57
  to
• 33:57
  go.
• 33:58
  But
• 33:58
  that's
• 33:58
  got.
• 33:58
  But
• 33:59
  I
• 33:59
  would
• 33:59
  love
• 33:59
  to
• 33:59
  see
• 33:59
  this
• 34:00
  as
• 34:00
  like
• 34:01
  one
• 34:01
  thing
• 34:01
  I
• 34:02
  you
• 34:02
  know,
• 34:02
  like
• 34:02
  the
• 34:02
  Disney
• 34:03
  plus
• 34:03
  what
• 34:03
  if
• 34:04
  series.
• 34:04
  I
• 34:05
  feel
• 34:05
  like
• 34:05
  I
• 34:06
  really
• 34:06
  like
• 34:06
  season
• 34:06
  one
• 34:07
  and
• 34:07
  after
• 34:07
  that,
• 34:08
  I
• 34:08
  mean
• 34:08
  it's
• 34:08
  still
• 34:08
  cool
• 34:09
  but
• 34:09
  I,
• 34:09
  like,
• 34:10
  I
• 34:10
  would
• 34:10
  love
• 34:10
  to
• 34:10
  see
• 34:11
  real
• 34:11
  stories
• 34:11
  like
• 34:12
  this
• 34:12
  where
• 34:12
  I
• 34:13
  feel
• 34:13
  like
• 34:13
  they're
• 34:13
  trying
• 34:14
  to
• 34:14
  just,
• 34:14
  like,
• 34:15
  you
• 34:15
  know,
• 34:16
  do
• 34:16
  okay,
• 34:17
  fun
• 34:17
  MCU
• 34:17
  stories
• 34:18
  and
• 34:18
  then
• 34:18
  also
• 34:18
  doing
• 34:19
  this
• 34:19
  big
• 34:19
  multiverse
• 34:20
  stuff
• 34:20
  on
• 34:20
  that.
• 34:20
  I
• 34:21
  feel
• 34:21
  like
• 34:21
  they
• 34:21
  could
• 34:21
  do
• 34:21
  stuff
• 34:22
  like
• 34:22
  this
• 34:22
  where
• 34:23
  they're,
• 34:23
  again,
• 34:23
  they're
• 34:24
  not
• 34:24
  tied
• 34:24
  to,
• 34:24
  like,
• 34:24
  one
• 34:25
  continuity,
• 34:25
  and
• 34:25
  so
• 34:25
  they
• 34:26
  could
• 34:26
  really
• 34:26
  have
• 34:26
  fun
• 34:26
  with
• 34:26
  it.
• 34:27
  So
• 34:27
  this
• 34:27
  would
• 34:28
  be
• 34:28
  a
• 34:28
  great
• 34:28
  story
• 34:29
  to
• 34:29
  do
• 34:30
  as
• 34:30
  an
• 34:30
  episode
• 34:30
  there.
• 34:31
  And,
• 34:31
  you
• 34:31
  know,
• 34:31
  they
• 34:32
  can
• 34:32
  really
• 34:32
  play
• 34:32
  around
• 34:32
  with
• 34:32
  characters
• 34:33
  and
• 34:34
  not
• 34:34
  be
• 34:35
  so
• 34:35
  tied
• 34:35
  to
• 34:36
  only
• 34:37
  characters
• 34:37
  we've
• 34:37
  seen
• 34:37
  in
• 34:38
  the
• 34:38
  MCU
• 34:38
  before.
• 34:39
  But
• 34:39
  they
• 34:39
  could
• 34:40
  play
• 34:40
  with
• 34:40
  different
• 34:41
  comic
• 34:41
  iterations
• 34:41
  and
• 34:42
  make
• 34:42
  their
• 34:42
  own
• 34:43
  things.
• 34:43
  Because
• 34:43
  that's
• 34:43
  what
• 34:43
  I
• 34:43
  always
• 34:44
  loved
• 34:44
  about
• 34:45
  the
• 34:45
  what
• 34:45
  if
• 34:45
  comics
• 34:45
  is
• 34:46
  they
• 34:46
  really
• 34:47
  just
• 34:47
  let
• 34:47
  writers
• 34:48
  and
• 34:48
  artists
• 34:49
  run
• 34:49
  wild
• 34:50
  and
• 34:50
  come
• 34:50
  up
• 34:50
  with
• 34:50
  all
• 34:51
  these
• 34:51
  stories.
• 34:51
  I,
• 34:51
  like,
• 34:51
  I
• 34:52
  have
• 34:52
  on
• 34:52
  my
• 34:52
  desk
• 34:53
  up
• 34:53
  there.
• 34:53
  What
• 34:53
  if
• 34:54
  Captain
• 34:54
  America
• 34:54
  were
• 34:55
  revived
• 34:55
  today?
• 34:56
  So,
• 34:56
  like,
• 34:57
  it's
• 34:57
  like,
• 34:58
  he's.
• 34:59
  I
• 34:59
  mean,
• 34:59
  that
• 34:59
  was
• 34:59
  in,
• 35:00
  like,
• 35:02
  I
• 35:02
  think,
• 35:02
  like,
• 35:02
  80s
• 35:03
  or
• 35:03
  90s,
• 35:03
  so.
• 35:04
  But
• 35:05
  it
• 35:05
  just,
• 35:05
  like,
• 35:05
  had
• 35:05
  him
• 35:05
  brought,
• 35:06
  like,
• 35:06
  being
• 35:06
  woken
• 35:07
  up
• 35:07
  in
• 35:07
  a
• 35:07
  different
• 35:07
  time
• 35:08
  period
• 35:08
  instead
• 35:08
  of
• 35:09
  in
• 35:09
  the
• 35:10
  60s
• 35:11
  when.
• 35:11
  When
• 35:11
  he
• 35:12
  was
• 35:12
  originally.
• 35:13
  And
• 35:13
  form
• 35:13
  the
• 35:14
  Avengers
• 35:14
  and
• 35:14
  all
• 35:14
  that.
• 35:15
  So
• 35:16
  I
• 35:16
  love,
• 35:16
  you
• 35:16
  know,
• 35:16
  storylines
• 35:17
  like
• 35:17
  that
• 35:17
  where
• 35:17
  it's
• 35:18
  just,
• 35:18
  like,
• 35:18
  you
• 35:18
  know,
• 35:19
  one
• 35:19
  little
• 35:19
  change
• 35:20
  can
• 35:21
  alter
• 35:21
  the
• 35:21
  course
• 35:21
  of
• 35:22
  events.
• 35:22
  Yeah,
• 35:23
  yeah,
• 35:24
  yeah.
• 35:25
  Awesome.
• 35:25
  Well,
• 35:26
  this
• 35:26
  is.
• 35:26
  Oh,
• 35:26
  this
• 35:27
  is
• 35:27
  so
• 35:27
  much
• 35:27
  fun.
• 35:27
  I
• 35:27
  don't.
• 35:27
  Do
• 35:27
  you
• 35:28
  have
• 35:28
  any
• 35:28
  other,
• 35:28
  like,
• 35:29
  things
• 35:29
  you
• 35:30
  want
• 35:30
  to
• 35:30
  add
• 35:30
  here
• 35:30
  or.
• 35:32
  Before
• 35:33
  we
• 35:33
  get
• 35:33
  into.
• 35:34
  We'll
• 35:34
  do
• 35:34
  recommendations
• 35:35
  and
• 35:35
  we'll
• 35:35
  also
• 35:35
  do
• 35:35
  a
• 35:36
  bonus
• 35:36
  question.
• 35:36
  But.
• 35:37
  But
• 35:37
  is
• 35:38
  there
• 35:38
  any
• 35:38
  other,
• 35:38
  like,
• 35:39
  even
• 35:39
  just
• 35:39
  wild
• 35:40
  idea
• 35:40
  or
• 35:40
  like.
• 35:41
  Or,
• 35:41
  like.
• 35:42
  Like,
• 35:43
  stories
• 35:43
  for,
• 35:44
  like,
• 35:44
  Peter
• 35:44
  and
• 35:44
  Miles
• 35:45
  here
• 35:45
  that
• 35:45
  you
• 35:45
  would
• 35:45
  want
• 35:46
  to
• 35:46
  see?
• 35:46
  Yeah.
• 35:47
  Like,
• 35:47
  I
• 35:48
  was
• 35:48
  just
• 35:48
  thinking
• 35:48
  about
• 35:48
  it
• 35:49
  as
• 35:49
  you're
• 35:49
  talking,
• 35:49
  like,
• 35:49
  yeah,
• 35:50
  what
• 35:50
  if,
• 35:50
  like,
• 35:51
  he,
• 35:51
  like,
• 35:51
  Peter
• 35:52
  becomes
• 35:52
  the
• 35:52
  mayor
• 35:53
  of
• 35:54
  New
• 35:54
  York
• 35:54
  City,
• 35:55
  but,
• 35:55
  like,
• 35:55
  with
• 35:56
  all
• 35:56
  the
• 35:56
  trauma
• 35:57
  that
• 35:57
  he
• 35:57
  went
• 35:57
  through
• 35:58
  with,
• 35:58
  like,
• 35:59
  being
• 36:00
  Spider
• 36:00
  man
• 36:00
  and
• 36:00
  all
• 36:01
  of
• 36:01
  that,
• 36:01
  it,
• 36:01
  like,
• 36:02
  yeah.
• 36:02
  Makes
• 36:02
  him
• 36:03
  so
• 36:03
  paranoid
• 36:04
  and,
• 36:04
  like,
• 36:05
  not
• 36:05
  crazy,
• 36:05
  but,
• 36:06
  like,
• 36:06
  he
• 36:07
  gets.
• 36:07
  He
• 36:07
  becomes
• 36:08
  so
• 36:08
  controlling
• 36:09
  that
• 36:09
  he,
• 36:09
  like,
• 36:10
  becomes
• 36:10
  the
• 36:10
  tyrant
• 36:11
  of
• 36:11
  New
• 36:11
  York
• 36:11
  because
• 36:12
  he
• 36:12
  wants
• 36:12
  to
• 36:12
  keep
• 36:13
  everybody
• 36:13
  safe.
• 36:14
  And
• 36:14
  then
• 36:15
  Miles
• 36:15
  has
• 36:16
  to,
• 36:16
  like.
• 36:16
  Like,
• 36:17
  he
• 36:17
  has
• 36:17
  to
• 36:17
  step
• 36:18
  up
• 36:18
  because
• 36:18
  he.
• 36:19
  That's
• 36:19
  not
• 36:19
  cool.
• 36:20
  And
• 36:20
  they
• 36:20
  have
• 36:20
  to
• 36:21
  fight.
• 36:22
  Like,
• 36:22
  what
• 36:22
  it.
• 36:22
  Like
• 36:23
  that.
• 36:23
  I
• 36:23
  think
• 36:23
  that'll
• 36:24
  be
• 36:24
  interesting
• 36:24
  because,
• 36:25
  like,
• 36:26
  in
• 36:26
  Peter's
• 36:26
  head,
• 36:27
  he's
• 36:27
  trying
• 36:27
  to
• 36:27
  protect
• 36:28
  everybody,
• 36:28
  but
• 36:28
  with
• 36:28
  everybody
• 36:29
  else,
• 36:29
  it's
• 36:30
  like,
• 36:30
  no,
• 36:30
  you.
• 36:31
  Like,
• 36:31
  we.
• 36:31
  Like,
• 36:32
  this
• 36:32
  is.
• 36:32
  This
• 36:33
  is.
• 36:33
  This
• 36:33
  is
• 36:34
  a
• 36:34
  prison.
• 36:35
  Like,
• 36:36
  we
• 36:36
  feel
• 36:37
  like
• 36:37
  a
• 36:37
  prison.
• 36:37
  Like,
• 36:38
  we,
• 36:38
  like.
• 36:39
  It's
• 36:39
  so
• 36:39
  strict.
• 36:40
  It's
• 36:40
  too
• 36:40
  strict.
• 36:41
  Like,
• 36:41
  you're
• 36:41
  trying
• 36:42
  to
• 36:42
  keep
• 36:42
  Us
• 36:42
  safe,
• 36:42
  but
• 36:42
  it's
• 36:43
  actually
• 36:43
  hurting
• 36:43
  us
• 36:43
  as
• 36:43
  a
• 36:44
  people.
• 36:44
  Like,
• 36:45
  I
• 36:45
  don't
• 36:45
  know.
• 36:46
  I
• 36:46
  think
• 36:46
  that
• 36:46
  would
• 36:46
  be
• 36:47
  a
• 36:47
  cool
• 36:47
  twist,
• 36:47
  like
• 36:48
  Peter
• 36:49
  being
• 36:49
  the
• 36:49
  villain
• 36:49
  when
• 36:50
  he's
• 36:50
  trying
• 36:50
  not
• 36:50
  to
• 36:50
  be.
• 36:52
  I
• 36:52
  think
• 36:52
  I
• 36:53
  love
• 36:53
  that
• 36:53
  idea.
• 36:54
  No,
• 36:54
  that's
• 36:55
  brilliant.
• 36:55
  I
• 36:55
  mean,
• 36:55
  like,
• 36:55
  well,
• 36:56
  and
• 36:56
  also,
• 36:56
  especially
• 36:57
  when
• 36:57
  you
• 36:57
  look
• 36:57
  at
• 36:57
  the
• 36:57
  MCU
• 36:58
  version,
• 36:58
  look
• 36:59
  at
• 36:59
  who
• 36:59
  he
• 36:59
  was
• 36:59
  mentored
• 37:00
  by,
• 37:00
  Tony,
• 37:00
  who
• 37:00
  also
• 37:01
  has
• 37:01
  a
• 37:01
  very,
• 37:01
  like,
• 37:02
  you
• 37:02
  know,
• 37:03
  and
• 37:04
  I
• 37:04
  mean,
• 37:04
  what
• 37:04
  they're
• 37:04
  doing
• 37:05
  now
• 37:05
  with
• 37:05
  the
• 37:05
  MCU
• 37:05
  where
• 37:06
  they're
• 37:06
  having
• 37:06
  RDJ
• 37:07
  play
• 37:07
  Dr.
• 37:07
  Doom
• 37:08
  and
• 37:08
  is
• 37:09
  like
• 37:09
  a
• 37:09
  Tony
• 37:09
  variant.
• 37:10
  I
• 37:10
  mean,
• 37:10
  I
• 37:10
  know.
• 37:10
  That's
• 37:10
  all
• 37:11
  I
• 37:11
  know.
• 37:11
  Oh,
• 37:12
  I
• 37:12
  know
• 37:12
  it
• 37:12
  does,
• 37:12
  too.
• 37:12
  I
• 37:13
  saw
• 37:13
  that
• 37:13
  and
• 37:13
  I
• 37:13
  was
• 37:13
  like,
• 37:14
  what?
• 37:16
  Oh,
• 37:17
  I
• 37:17
  have
• 37:17
  so
• 37:17
  many
• 37:18
  thoughts
• 37:18
  on
• 37:18
  it.
• 37:18
  I
• 37:18
  know
• 37:18
  that's
• 37:19
  a
• 37:19
  whole
• 37:19
  other
• 37:19
  episode
• 37:20
  there.
• 37:20
  And
• 37:20
  we'll
• 37:21
  have
• 37:21
  the
• 37:21
  Doomsday
• 37:22
  trailer
• 37:22
  in
• 37:23
  about
• 37:23
  a
• 37:23
  month
• 37:24
  and
• 37:24
  we
• 37:24
  can
• 37:24
  get
• 37:24
  into
• 37:25
  all
• 37:25
  that.
• 37:25
  But.
• 37:26
  But
• 37:26
  it
• 37:26
  is
• 37:26
  like,
• 37:27
  you
• 37:27
  know,
• 37:27
  with
• 37:27
  Peter
• 37:28
  being
• 37:28
  mentored
• 37:28
  by
• 37:29
  Tony
• 37:29
  in
• 37:29
  the
• 37:29
  mcu,
• 37:30
  Tony
• 37:31
  also
• 37:31
  has
• 37:31
  this
• 37:32
  mentality
• 37:32
  of,
• 37:33
  you
• 37:33
  know,
• 37:33
  do
• 37:34
  everything
• 37:34
  for
• 37:34
  the
• 37:34
  greater
• 37:34
  good.
• 37:35
  That
• 37:36
  can
• 37:36
  also
• 37:37
  be
• 37:37
  blinding
• 37:38
  as
• 37:38
  well.
• 37:38
  And,
• 37:39
  you
• 37:39
  know,
• 37:39
  and
• 37:39
  then.
• 37:39
  And
• 37:40
  like
• 37:40
  you
• 37:40
  said,
• 37:40
  with
• 37:40
  Peter
• 37:41
  coming
• 37:41
  off
• 37:41
  the
• 37:42
  most
• 37:42
  traumatic
• 37:43
  point
• 37:43
  in
• 37:43
  his
• 37:43
  life
• 37:43
  with
• 37:44
  Aunt
• 37:45
  May's
• 37:45
  murder
• 37:45
  at
• 37:45
  the
• 37:45
  hands
• 37:46
  of
• 37:46
  Green
• 37:46
  Goblin,
• 37:46
  you
• 37:47
  know,
• 37:47
  and
• 37:47
  it's
• 37:47
  only
• 37:48
  through,
• 37:48
  like,
• 37:49
  Andrew
• 37:49
  Spider
• 37:49
  man
• 37:50
  and
• 37:50
  Toby's
• 37:50
  Spider
• 37:50
  man
• 37:50
  help
• 37:51
  him,
• 37:51
  bring
• 37:51
  him
• 37:51
  back
• 37:51
  from
• 37:52
  the
• 37:52
  abyss
• 37:52
  there.
• 37:53
  But.
• 37:53
  But
• 37:53
  that
• 37:53
  doesn't
• 37:54
  mean
• 37:54
  he's,
• 37:54
  you
• 37:54
  know,
• 37:55
  and
• 37:56
  now
• 37:56
  even
• 37:56
  more
• 37:57
  so
• 37:57
  of
• 37:57
  no
• 37:58
  one
• 37:58
  in
• 37:58
  the
• 37:58
  world
• 37:58
  remembers
• 37:59
  him,
• 37:59
  and
• 37:59
  he's,
• 37:59
  you
• 38:00
  know,
• 38:00
  alone
• 38:00
  more
• 38:01
  than
• 38:01
  ever.
• 38:01
  And,
• 38:02
  you
• 38:02
  know,
• 38:02
  there's
• 38:03
  a
• 38:03
  lot
• 38:03
  to
• 38:03
  reconcile
• 38:04
  with.
• 38:04
  And
• 38:04
  so
• 38:05
  he
• 38:06
  can
• 38:06
  easily
• 38:06
  be
• 38:07
  blinded
• 38:07
  by
• 38:08
  his
• 38:08
  own
• 38:08
  ambition
• 38:09
  and
• 38:09
  what
• 38:09
  he
• 38:09
  thinks
• 38:09
  is
• 38:10
  right.
• 38:11
  And
• 38:11
  I
• 38:11
  absolutely
• 38:12
  think
• 38:12
  that
• 38:12
  would
• 38:12
  be
• 38:12
  a
• 38:13
  great
• 38:13
  storyline
• 38:13
  to
• 38:13
  play
• 38:14
  out
• 38:14
  where
• 38:14
  Miles
• 38:15
  has
• 38:15
  to
• 38:15
  kind
• 38:15
  of
• 38:16
  save
• 38:16
  him
• 38:17
  from
• 38:17
  that
• 38:17
  and,
• 38:17
  you
• 38:17
  know,
• 38:18
  they
• 38:18
  duke
• 38:18
  it
• 38:18
  out
• 38:19
  and
• 38:19
  then
• 38:19
  he
• 38:19
  has
• 38:20
  to,
• 38:20
  like,
• 38:20
  you
• 38:21
  know,
• 38:21
  show
• 38:21
  him
• 38:21
  the
• 38:21
  error
• 38:22
  of
• 38:22
  his
• 38:22
  ways.
• 38:22
  I
• 38:22
  think
• 38:22
  that's
• 38:23
  great.
• 38:23
  Yeah.
• 38:24
  Yeah.
• 38:25
  And
• 38:25
  maybe
• 38:25
  not
• 38:25
  just
• 38:25
  Miles
• 38:26
  fighting
• 38:26
  him,
• 38:26
  but
• 38:26
  also,
• 38:27
  like,
• 38:27
  Andrew
• 38:28
  Spider
• 38:28
  man
• 38:28
  and
• 38:28
  Toby
• 38:28
  Spider
• 38:29
  man
• 38:29
  like,
• 38:29
  come
• 38:30
  in
• 38:30
  probably
• 38:31
  at
• 38:31
  the
• 38:31
  last
• 38:31
  tail
• 38:32
  end
• 38:32
  before
• 38:33
  Peter
• 38:33
  almost
• 38:34
  off,
• 38:34
  smiles
• 38:35
  and
• 38:35
  like,
• 38:35
  wait,
• 38:36
  this
• 38:37
  isn't
• 38:37
  who
• 38:37
  you
• 38:37
  are,
• 38:38
  and
• 38:38
  the
• 38:38
  three
• 38:39
  of
• 38:39
  them
• 38:39
  fight.
• 38:40
  That'd
• 38:40
  be
• 38:40
  cool.
• 38:41
  That
• 38:41
  would
• 38:41
  be
• 38:41
  so
• 38:42
  cool
• 38:43
  writing
• 38:44
  this
• 38:44
  movie
• 38:44
  right
• 38:44
  now.
• 38:45
  I
• 38:45
  love
• 38:45
  it.
• 38:45
  Yeah.
• 38:46
  Oh.
• 38:47
  Oh,
• 38:47
  this
• 38:47
  is.
• 38:47
  I
• 38:47
  love
• 38:48
  it.
• 38:48
  Yeah.
• 38:49
  This
• 38:49
  is
• 38:49
  the
• 38:49
  fun.
• 38:50
  That's
• 38:50
  what
• 38:50
  I
• 38:50
  love
• 38:50
  about
• 38:51
  these
• 38:51
  supremacists.
• 38:52
  We
• 38:52
  can
• 38:52
  just
• 38:52
  kind
• 38:52
  of
• 38:52
  run
• 38:52
  wild
• 38:53
  and,
• 38:53
  you
• 38:53
  know,
• 38:53
  I
• 38:53
  mean,
• 38:54
  maybe
• 38:54
  if
• 38:55
  Kevin
• 38:55
  Feige
• 38:55
  is
• 38:55
  listening
• 38:56
  out
• 38:56
  there,
• 38:56
  I'm.
• 38:56
  I'm
• 38:57
  sure
• 38:57
  he
• 38:57
  listens.
• 38:57
  To
• 38:57
  this
• 38:58
  podcast
• 38:58
  so
• 38:58
  he
• 38:58
  can
• 38:59
  take
• 38:59
  our
• 38:59
  ideas
• 38:59
  here.
• 39:00
  But
• 39:00
  yeah,
• 39:01
  yeah,
• 39:01
  yeah.
• 39:02
  I
• 39:02
  mean,
• 39:02
  hey,
• 39:02
  I
• 39:02
  think
• 39:03
  that
• 39:03
  is
• 39:03
  infinitely
• 39:03
  more
• 39:03
  fun
• 39:04
  than
• 39:04
  a
• 39:04
  lot
• 39:04
  of
• 39:04
  what's
• 39:05
  been
• 39:05
  shown
• 39:05
  in
• 39:06
  the
• 39:06
  multiverse.
• 39:06
  Oh,
• 39:06
  it's
• 39:07
  more
• 39:07
  dare.
• 39:07
  Yeah.
• 39:08
  Like
• 39:09
  multiverse
• 39:09
  saga.
• 39:12
  It'S
• 39:12
  been
• 39:13
  so
• 39:13
  messy.
• 39:13
  That's.
• 39:14
  Yeah.
• 39:15
  So
• 39:15
  I,
• 39:15
  I,
• 39:16
  yeah,
• 39:17
  I
• 39:17
  like
• 39:18
  ones
• 39:18
  where
• 39:18
  they
• 39:18
  actually
• 39:19
  have
• 39:19
  dramatic
• 39:20
  weight
• 39:20
  to
• 39:20
  them
• 39:20
  on
• 39:21
  the
• 39:21
  stories
• 39:22
  that
• 39:22
  are,
• 39:22
  you
• 39:23
  know,
• 39:23
  even
• 39:23
  though
• 39:23
  it
• 39:24
  wouldn't
• 39:24
  happen
• 39:24
  in
• 39:24
  the
• 39:24
  main
• 39:24
  continuity,
• 39:25
  it's
• 39:26
  really
• 39:26
  fun
• 39:26
  to
• 39:26
  play
• 39:26
  with.
• 39:28
  Yeah.
• 39:28
  So
• 39:29
  I
• 39:29
  love
• 39:29
  it.
• 39:30
  Awesome.
• 39:31
  Well,
• 39:31
  those
• 39:31
  are
• 39:31
  kind
• 39:32
  of.
• 39:32
  Arthur.
• 39:32
  I
• 39:32
  love
• 39:32
  this,
• 39:33
  Alex.
• 39:33
  And
• 39:34
  yeah,
• 39:34
  great
• 39:34
  ideas
• 39:35
  there.
• 39:35
  I
• 39:35
  mean,
• 39:35
  I
• 39:36
  know
• 39:36
  this
• 39:36
  is
• 39:36
  kind
• 39:36
  of
• 39:36
  like
• 39:36
  just
• 39:36
  kind
• 39:37
  of
• 39:38
  throwing
• 39:38
  out
• 39:38
  a
• 39:38
  bunch
• 39:39
  of
• 39:39
  ideas
• 39:39
  here,
• 39:39
  but
• 39:39
  I,
• 39:40
  I
• 39:40
  think
• 39:40
  we're
• 39:40
  pretty
• 39:41
  in
• 39:41
  sync
• 39:41
  in
• 39:41
  terms
• 39:41
  of
• 39:42
  like
• 39:42
  what
• 39:42
  we
• 39:42
  would
• 39:42
  want
• 39:42
  to
• 39:43
  see
• 39:43
  both
• 39:43
  in
• 39:43
  movie
• 39:44
  form
• 39:44
  and
• 39:44
  in
• 39:44
  comic
• 39:44
  form.
• 39:46
  And
• 39:46
  this
• 39:46
  would
• 39:46
  be
• 39:46
  a
• 39:47
  really
• 39:47
  fun
• 39:47
  storyline
• 39:47
  to
• 39:48
  play
• 39:48
  out.
• 39:48
  And
• 39:48
  I
• 39:49
  think
• 39:49
  ultimately
• 39:49
  it's
• 39:49
  a
• 39:50
  similar
• 39:50
  ending
• 39:50
  where,
• 39:51
  you
• 39:51
  know,
• 39:51
  he
• 39:51
  would
• 39:52
  go
• 39:52
  through
• 39:52
  a
• 39:53
  lot
• 39:53
  of
• 39:53
  trials,
• 39:53
  he
• 39:53
  would
• 39:54
  go
• 39:54
  through
• 39:54
  maybe
• 39:55
  a
• 39:55
  dark
• 39:55
  turn,
• 39:55
  but
• 39:55
  ultimately
• 39:56
  people,
• 39:57
  I
• 39:57
  think
• 39:57
  like
• 39:57
  even
• 39:58
  J.
• 39:58
  Jonah
• 39:58
  and
• 39:59
  then
• 39:59
  Miles,
• 40:00
  MJ
• 40:00
  would
• 40:00
  help
• 40:01
  kind
• 40:01
  of
• 40:01
  bring
• 40:01
  him
• 40:01
  back
• 40:02
  and,
• 40:03
  you
• 40:03
  know,
• 40:04
  help
• 40:04
  him
• 40:04
  set
• 40:05
  a
• 40:05
  clear
• 40:05
  path
• 40:05
  forward.
• 40:07
  But
• 40:07
  yeah,
• 40:07
  I
• 40:07
  like,
• 40:08
  I
• 40:08
  think
• 40:08
  we
• 40:09
  both
• 40:09
  like
• 40:09
  this
• 40:09
  idea
• 40:10
  of
• 40:10
  him
• 40:11
  coming
• 40:12
  to
• 40:12
  grips
• 40:13
  with
• 40:13
  responsibilities
• 40:13
  and
• 40:14
  then,
• 40:14
  you
• 40:15
  know,
• 40:15
  and,
• 40:16
  you
• 40:16
  know,
• 40:16
  really
• 40:16
  committing
• 40:17
  himself
• 40:17
  and
• 40:17
  then
• 40:18
  handing
• 40:18
  over
• 40:19
  the
• 40:19
  mantle
• 40:20
  Spider
• 40:20
  man
• 40:20
  to
• 40:20
  Miles
• 40:21
  fully
• 40:23
  and,
• 40:23
  you
• 40:24
  know,
• 40:24
  him
• 40:24
  being
• 40:24
  there
• 40:24
  as
• 40:25
  a
• 40:25
  mentor.
• 40:25
  I
• 40:25
  think
• 40:25
  I
• 40:26
  like
• 40:26
  that
• 40:26
  a
• 40:26
  lot.
• 40:28
  But
• 40:28
  yeah,
• 40:28
  there's
• 40:29
  also,
• 40:29
  there's,
• 40:30
  I
• 40:30
  know
• 40:30
  you
• 40:30
  just
• 40:30
  read
• 40:30
  some
• 40:31
  of
• 40:31
  the
• 40:31
  comics,
• 40:31
  but
• 40:31
  there's
• 40:32
  one
• 40:32
  I
• 40:32
  really
• 40:33
  recommend
• 40:33
  called
• 40:34
  Spider
• 40:34
  Man
• 40:34
  Life
• 40:35
  Story,
• 40:35
  which
• 40:35
  the
• 40:36
  idea
• 40:36
  behind
• 40:36
  that
• 40:37
  is
• 40:37
  it's
• 40:37
  always
• 40:37
  six
• 40:37
  issues
• 40:38
  and
• 40:39
  the,
• 40:40
  the
• 40:40
  idea
• 40:40
  is
• 40:41
  like,
• 40:41
  because,
• 40:42
  you
• 40:42
  know,
• 40:42
  in
• 40:42
  comics
• 40:43
  it's
• 40:43
  like
• 40:43
  the,
• 40:43
  these
• 40:44
  characters
• 40:44
  have
• 40:44
  been
• 40:44
  around
• 40:44
  for
• 40:45
  60,
• 40:46
  80
• 40:46
  years
• 40:46
  and
• 40:46
  like
• 40:47
  they
• 40:47
  never
• 40:47
  age,
• 40:47
  you
• 40:47
  know,
• 40:48
  like
• 40:48
  that,
• 40:48
  like,
• 40:49
  like,
• 40:49
  you
• 40:49
  know,
• 40:49
  Spider
• 40:50
  man
• 40:50
  is
• 40:50
  still
• 40:51
  a
• 40:51
  teenager,
• 40:51
  20s,
• 40:52
  and
• 40:52
  Batman
• 40:53
  still,
• 40:53
  you
• 40:53
  know,
• 40:54
  like
• 40:54
  middle
• 40:54
  aged
• 40:55
  at
• 40:55
  best.
• 40:56
  The
• 40:56
  idea
• 40:56
  with
• 40:56
  Spider
• 40:57
  Man
• 40:57
  Life
• 40:57
  Story
• 40:57
  is
• 40:58
  it
• 40:58
  sort
• 40:58
  of
• 40:58
  takes
• 40:59
  the
• 40:59
  big
• 40:59
  events
• 41:00
  from
• 41:00
  the
• 41:00
  comics
• 41:00
  and
• 41:01
  it
• 41:01
  makes
• 41:01
  it
• 41:02
  play
• 41:02
  out
• 41:02
  in.
• 41:03
  As
• 41:03
  if
• 41:03
  it
• 41:04
  were
• 41:04
  in
• 41:04
  real
• 41:04
  time.
• 41:05
  So
• 41:05
  Peter
• 41:06
  actually
• 41:06
  ages
• 41:06
  and
• 41:07
  he
• 41:07
  goes
• 41:07
  through
• 41:07
  his.
• 41:07
  And
• 41:08
  so,
• 41:08
  so
• 41:09
  it
• 41:09
  takes
• 41:09
  concepts
• 41:10
  from
• 41:10
  the
• 41:10
  different
• 41:10
  eras,
• 41:11
  like
• 41:11
  start
• 41:11
  with
• 41:11
  the
• 41:11
  60s
• 41:12
  and
• 41:12
  going
• 41:12
  through
• 41:13
  the
• 41:13
  modern
• 41:13
  age,
• 41:14
  but
• 41:14
  it
• 41:14
  play,
• 41:14
  but
• 41:14
  it
• 41:15
  lets
• 41:15
  Peter
• 41:16
  age
• 41:16
  and
• 41:16
  so
• 41:16
  it
• 41:16
  tells
• 41:17
  a
• 41:17
  cohesive
• 41:18
  narrative
• 41:18
  there.
• 41:19
  That
• 41:19
  one's
• 41:20
  really
• 41:20
  good
• 41:20
  and
• 41:20
  I
• 41:20
  feel
• 41:20
  like
• 41:20
  it
• 41:21
  plays
• 41:21
  a
• 41:21
  lot
• 41:21
  with
• 41:22
  what
• 41:23
  we're
• 41:23
  talking
• 41:23
  about
• 41:23
  here.
• 41:24
  So
• 41:24
  that
• 41:25
  one's
• 41:25
  really
• 41:25
  good.
• 41:25
  So
• 41:25
  it's
• 41:26
  by.
• 41:26
  Written
• 41:26
  by
• 41:26
  Chip
• 41:27
  Sadarsky.
• 41:28
  And
• 41:29
  art
• 41:30
  by
• 41:31
  Mark
• 41:31
  Bagley.
• 41:32
  Really
• 41:32
  recommend
• 41:33
  that
• 41:33
  one.
• 41:33
  Nice.
• 41:34
  So.
• 41:34
  Yeah.
• 41:34
  Yeah.
• 41:35
  Okay.
• 41:36
  Yeah.
• 41:38
  Well,
• 41:38
  and
• 41:38
  speaking
• 41:38
  of,
• 41:39
  we'll
• 41:39
  get
• 41:39
  into
• 41:39
  recommendations
• 41:40
  in
• 41:40
  just
• 41:40
  a
• 41:40
  sec
• 41:41
  and
• 41:41
  also
• 41:43
  stick
• 41:43
  around
• 41:43
  for
• 41:44
  our
• 41:44
  bonus
• 41:44
  question
• 41:44
  for
• 41:45
  our
• 41:45
  Patreon
• 41:46
  subscribers
• 41:46
  in
• 41:46
  just
• 41:46
  a
• 41:46
  bit.
• 41:47
  The
• 41:47
  bonus
• 41:47
  question
• 41:48
  will
• 41:48
  be,
• 41:49
  what
• 41:49
  other
• 41:50
  character
• 41:50
  in
• 41:50
  the
• 41:51
  Marvel
• 41:51
  universe
• 41:51
  would
• 41:52
  you
• 41:52
  like
• 41:52
  to
• 41:52
  see
• 41:53
  run
• 41:53
  for
• 41:53
  office?
• 41:54
  And
• 41:54
  that
• 41:54
  could
• 41:55
  be
• 41:55
  anything.
• 41:55
  President
• 41:56
  or
• 41:57
  a
• 41:57
  senator
• 41:57
  or
• 41:57
  whatever,
• 41:58
  you
• 41:58
  know,
• 41:58
  But.
• 41:59
  So
• 41:59
  we'll
• 41:59
  get
• 41:59
  to
• 41:59
  that.
• 42:00
  But.
• 42:01
  But,
• 42:01
  Alex,
• 42:01
  do
• 42:01
  you
• 42:01
  have
• 42:02
  any
• 42:02
  recommendations
• 42:04
  either
• 42:04
  related
• 42:04
  to
• 42:05
  this
• 42:05
  topic
• 42:06
  or
• 42:06
  really
• 42:06
  to
• 42:07
  anything
• 42:07
  you
• 42:07
  just
• 42:07
  want
• 42:08
  to
• 42:08
  give
• 42:08
  a
• 42:08
  shout
• 42:08
  out
• 42:08
  to?
• 42:09
  Yes,
• 42:10
  obviously.
• 42:11
  Watch
• 42:11
  the
• 42:11
  pit
• 42:12
  if
• 42:12
  you
• 42:12
  guys
• 42:13
  haven't.
• 42:14
  And
• 42:15
  any.
• 42:15
  Any
• 42:16
  content
• 42:17
  related
• 42:17
  to
• 42:18
  Spider
• 42:18
  Man.
• 42:18
  So,
• 42:19
  like,
• 42:19
  Tobey
• 42:20
  Maguire
• 42:20
  movies,
• 42:21
  Andrew
• 42:22
  Garfield
• 42:22
  movies,
• 42:23
  Tom
• 42:23
  Holland
• 42:23
  movies,
• 42:24
  the
• 42:24
  video
• 42:25
  games.
• 42:25
  Those
• 42:26
  are
• 42:26
  really
• 42:26
  good.
• 42:28
  Yeah,
• 42:28
  the.
• 42:30
  The.
• 42:32
  What
• 42:32
  was
• 42:32
  I
• 42:32
  gonna
• 42:33
  say?
• 42:33
  Spider
• 42:34
  Verse
• 42:34
  movies.
• 42:35
  Those
• 42:35
  are
• 42:36
  good.
• 42:36
  Oh,
• 42:36
  yes.
• 42:36
  Yeah.
• 42:39
  And,
• 42:39
  yeah.
• 42:40
  And
• 42:40
  if
• 42:40
  you
• 42:40
  want
• 42:40
  to
• 42:40
  go
• 42:40
  into
• 42:41
  a
• 42:41
  rabbit
• 42:41
  hole
• 42:42
  of,
• 42:42
  like,
• 42:43
  the
• 42:43
  different
• 42:43
  multiverses
• 42:44
  of
• 42:44
  the
• 42:44
  Spider
• 42:44
  man,
• 42:45
  because
• 42:45
  I
• 42:46
  did
• 42:46
  that.
• 42:48
  And
• 42:48
  I
• 42:48
  was
• 42:49
  absolutely
• 42:49
  blown
• 42:49
  away,
• 42:50
  you
• 42:50
  should
• 42:50
  totally
• 42:51
  do
• 42:51
  that.
• 42:53
  It's
• 42:53
  quite
• 42:54
  the
• 42:54
  rabbit
• 42:54
  hole.
• 42:54
  It
• 42:55
  is.
• 42:55
  I
• 42:55
  didn't
• 42:55
  know
• 42:56
  Marvel
• 42:56
  could
• 42:56
  go
• 42:57
  as
• 42:57
  dark
• 42:57
  as
• 42:57
  it
• 42:57
  did
• 42:58
  with
• 42:59
  some
• 42:59
  of
• 42:59
  those
• 42:59
  rabbit
• 42:59
  holes.
• 43:00
  So.
• 43:03
  The
• 43:03
  90s
• 43:03
  is
• 43:04
  a
• 43:04
  fascinating
• 43:04
  time
• 43:05
  for
• 43:05
  comics
• 43:06
  as
• 43:06
  a
• 43:06
  whole,
• 43:06
  but
• 43:06
  yeah,
• 43:06
  when
• 43:07
  you
• 43:07
  get
• 43:07
  into
• 43:07
  the
• 43:07
  Ben
• 43:07
  Reilly
• 43:08
  and
• 43:08
  the
• 43:08
  Clone
• 43:08
  saga
• 43:09
  and
• 43:09
  all
• 43:09
  that.
• 43:09
  Yeah.
• 43:11
  Yeah,
• 43:12
  I
• 43:13
  recommend
• 43:13
  those.
• 43:13
  I.
• 43:14
  I'm
• 43:15
  glad
• 43:15
  you
• 43:15
  went
• 43:15
  and
• 43:15
  went
• 43:16
  down
• 43:16
  there,
• 43:16
  though,
• 43:16
  because
• 43:17
  it's
• 43:17
  a.
• 43:17
  It
• 43:17
  is
• 43:18
  fascinating.
• 43:18
  I
• 43:18
  learned
• 43:18
  quite
• 43:19
  a
• 43:19
  lot.
• 43:20
  Yes.
• 43:20
  Yeah,
• 43:21
  I
• 43:22
  love
• 43:22
  it.
• 43:23
  Well,
• 43:24
  and
• 43:24
  I'm
• 43:24
  gonna
• 43:24
  recommend
• 43:25
  the
• 43:25
  current
• 43:26
  run
• 43:26
  of
• 43:27
  Ultimate
• 43:27
  Spider
• 43:27
  man,
• 43:28
  which
• 43:28
  we've
• 43:28
  talked
• 43:28
  about
• 43:28
  on
• 43:29
  the
• 43:29
  podcast
• 43:29
  multiple
• 43:30
  times
• 43:30
  by
• 43:30
  Jonathan
• 43:31
  Hickman.
• 43:31
  And
• 43:33
  this,
• 43:33
  the
• 43:33
  ultimate
• 43:34
  universe,
• 43:34
  like
• 43:35
  the
• 43:35
  current
• 43:35
  one
• 43:36
  is,
• 43:37
  has
• 43:37
  been
• 43:37
  really
• 43:38
  great
• 43:39
  throughout.
• 43:40
  And.
• 43:41
  And
• 43:42
  the
• 43:42
  basic
• 43:43
  premise
• 43:43
  that
• 43:44
  starts
• 43:44
  off
• 43:45
  the
• 43:45
  Spider
• 43:45
  man
• 43:45
  series
• 43:46
  is
• 43:47
  Peter
• 43:47
  is
• 43:48
  in
• 43:48
  his
• 43:48
  30s,
• 43:48
  married
• 43:49
  to
• 43:49
  MJ
• 43:49
  and
• 43:49
  has
• 43:49
  kids,
• 43:50
  and
• 43:50
  he's
• 43:50
  never
• 43:50
  been
• 43:51
  Spider
• 43:51
  man,
• 43:51
  and.
• 43:52
  And
• 43:52
  so
• 43:52
  he's
• 43:53
  been
• 43:53
  it.
• 43:53
  But
• 43:53
  he
• 43:53
  always
• 43:54
  feels
• 43:54
  like
• 43:54
  something
• 43:55
  is
• 43:55
  missing,
• 43:55
  and
• 43:56
  so
• 43:56
  it
• 43:56
  shows.
• 43:57
  Okay.
• 43:58
  What
• 43:58
  is
• 43:58
  it
• 43:58
  like
• 43:58
  when
• 43:58
  he
• 43:59
  becomes
• 43:59
  Spider
• 43:59
  man
• 44:00
  as
• 44:00
  an
• 44:00
  adult
• 44:01
  who's
• 44:01
  a
• 44:01
  husband
• 44:01
  and
• 44:02
  father?
• 44:02
  And
• 44:03
  also
• 44:04
  Uncle
• 44:05
  Ben
• 44:05
  is
• 44:05
  alive,
• 44:05
  Aunt
• 44:06
  May
• 44:06
  is
• 44:07
  deceased,
• 44:08
  and
• 44:08
  Uncle
• 44:09
  Ben
• 44:09
  and
• 44:09
  J.
• 44:09
  Jo
• 44:09
  Mc
• 44:10
  Jameson
• 44:10
  are
• 44:11
  business
• 44:11
  partners
• 44:12
  together
• 44:12
  and
• 44:12
  they
• 44:12
  start
• 44:13
  their
• 44:13
  own.
• 44:14
  Well,
• 44:15
  I
• 44:15
  had
• 44:15
  newspaper,
• 44:16
  but
• 44:16
  more
• 44:16
  like,
• 44:17
  you
• 44:17
  know,
• 44:17
  digital
• 44:18
  publisher.
• 44:19
  So
• 44:19
  it
• 44:20
  is
• 44:20
  a
• 44:20
  fascinating
• 44:21
  book.
• 44:21
  I
• 44:21
  highly
• 44:21
  recommend
• 44:22
  that
• 44:23
  universe.
• 44:23
  It
• 44:23
  will
• 44:24
  be
• 44:24
  ending
• 44:24
  in
• 44:24
  the
• 44:24
  next
• 44:25
  few
• 44:25
  months,
• 44:25
  but.
• 44:26
  But
• 44:26
  there's
• 44:26
  been
• 44:26
  some
• 44:27
  great
• 44:27
  books
• 44:27
  out
• 44:27
  there,
• 44:27
  so
• 44:28
  I
• 44:28
  recommend
• 44:28
  that
• 44:29
  one.
• 44:29
  Yeah.
• 44:30
  Very
• 44:30
  cool.
• 44:31
  Well,
• 44:31
  Alex,
• 44:32
  this
• 44:32
  has
• 44:32
  been.
• 44:32
  It's
• 44:33
  such
• 44:33
  a
• 44:33
  pleasure
• 44:33
  recording
• 44:34
  with
• 44:34
  you.
• 44:34
  This
• 44:34
  has
• 44:34
  been
• 44:34
  fantastic.
• 44:36
  Oh
• 44:36
  this
• 44:36
  has
• 44:37
  been
• 44:37
  awesome.
• 44:37
  And
• 44:38
  and
• 44:38
  again,
• 44:38
  stick
• 44:39
  around
• 44:39
  in
• 44:39
  a
• 44:39
  minute
