- Amanda: What is up guys? Welcome back to Let's Talk Football Married Edition. It is Monday, October 26th. I'm Amanda. I'm here with my lovely husband and co-host, Drew Black. Drew: What is up, wedding party? Hope everybody had a great fantasy weekend. unfortunately or unlike myself Amanda: It was not good. Drew: and Amanda, because we didn't have great fantasy weekends ourselves. Amanda: It was not good. This was the first week of fantasy football for me, right? And and and blessed because I'm seven weeks into this bullshit. That like I was actually angry and like frustrated. And it's one of those like, never mind, I give up. I'm done. I'm done. Just absolutely insane. Players that would on any other week score three fucking points, putting up, I don't know, 36 is criminal. Criminal. Drew: Who did that? Who did that? Amanda: Tony fucking thou who shall not be named Tony Fucking Pollard. Drew: Also, like he wasn't just putting up three fantasy points before this. Amanda: Okay, but he's been mid to average. He's been essentially borderline questionable to start. 'Cause you're like Drew: Well, yeah, be because the Titans have been so bad and then well, weirdly enough, against a good Amanda: Good run defense. Drew: Cleveland running defense, he puts up three tutties and absolutely walks all over Amanda: The three tutties. I literally looked at Drew and I said, if this motherfucker scores another touchdown, I am done. And he scored another touchdown. Drew: I laughed every time because I knew it was coming. And also like I'm being a Browns fan, I watch other games and like so I can just tell when something's gonna happen. And like, you know, they got the ball at the six yard line on second and goal and I'm like, this is gonna be a Tony Pollard run for a touchdown. Cause it's just that's like Cleveland. They'll play up to good competition and then they'll just have these stinkers against bad teams. The only difference is this year they're actually winning the games and historically they haven't won those games. They gotta clean stuff up because like Schmidt, the kicker Two weeks in a row missing a kick in the third or fourth quarter that would make a difference down down the line and it did, but yet him getting a game winning field goal to make up for it each time. He's not gonna have the opportunity to do that every week. So Amanda: No. Drew: boys gotta clean that up. But yeah, it was just kind of a weird like for me. I mean, what'd you go? O and three? Yeah, you went and three? Amanda: Yeah. and fucking three. All and well, technically I still have two going on, but unless George Pickens and Dak Prescott equally go off for like thirty five points a piece, there ain't no shot, so Drew: Yeah. So and I'm I went well, right now I'm two and one with the ability to win a third out of my four, but in order for that to happen, Ferguson j Jake Ferguson has to score less than three points. So yeah, not prob not probable. Amanda: So Anvil status and that's not gonna happen. Drew: He has done it once this year where he scored less than what I need him to, but Amanda: I think I played him that week, so Drew: week one. but I'm not expecting that to happen. So I'll probably go two and two, but like Just dis I watched the Browns game yesterday and then it was disinterested in the rest of the day because even going into the week, it was one of those ones where two of my teams were favored by so much and I was playing against such bad teams. Now this was in Dynasty, so the the far ends of good teams and bad teams is even wider. And like I there was no shot I was gonna lose those two games. So didn't really have much interest there. And then my home league team just absolutely shit the bed. I mean, it was Amanda: I got just Drew: JJ Justin Jefferson, Garrett Wilson, Juwan Johnson just doing nothing. And then of course Lamar being out again. I've got him in two leagues and you know, it's hot tough to win when your quarterback's not there. And Kath Walker, of course, has a stinker. Amanda: Yep. No. I I went to bed, okay? Mind you, I was still interested because all I needed with Kenneth Kenneth Walker, twelve points, I would have beat the fuckhead Tony Pollard. I would have beat him. And I was like, Drew: How'd that go for you? Amanda: twelve points, Kenneth Walker, no big deal. Right? And I'm already like, anytime I need someone to do something, they never fucking rise to the occasion. Bitches never Drew: Yeah. Amanda: rise to the occasion. And he had nine point seven points. I lost by one point five points. One point five Kenneth, one more. And and now that just reclaims Drew: Yeah. The two things Amanda: me ever trusting the Kansas City Chiefs. Goodbye. Goodbye. Drew: Nah, the the two things I learned from that is one, Seattle's defense, as we know, is so fucking good that Amanda: Good. Drew: if Sam Darnold doesn't get in their own team's way, they could repeat. The problem Amanda: Yeah. Drew: is Sam Darnold tried to throw the game when he threw they were up ten nothing right before halftime. Their in field Amanda: Doing Sam Darnold shit. Drew: goal range could go up thirteen nothing and instead he panics in the pocket and throws a pick in the end zone that gets returned and sets up a Butker field goal who he that he ends up missing. But Sam Darnold still is I it just he's fine as long as he isn't under pressure and then he panics, which is a problem. But the other thing is Kansas City desperately needs to trade for a receiver. Like I get Amanda: Yes. Desperately. Drew: that Rasheed Rice is is hurt and when he comes back that's gonna be better, right? Like that'll help, but he's not the field stretcher. Like without Taekwond Thornton, and they they went through this when they got rid of Tyreek and w Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: when when they wouldn't pay him, is their offense started to struggle because they couldn't Get the defense. They couldn't take the top off the defense, which means they can just load the box up, right? Which is what Seattle did and why Kenth Walker struggled was because he had nowhere to run because they put eight in the box and said, Okay, beat me with Xavier Worthy. You're not going to. Yeah, and an old and an old Amanda: And Travis Kelsey and Cyrus Allen and you're not going to. Drew: Travis, you're not gonna take the top off. So you're not gonna ex they they desperately need a guy. I would really like to see the two names that I've seen floated out, which I'm very excited about. Brian Thomas Jr., which I think would be a good fit because he's a good deep ball guy because of that. And the Amanda: not trading that motherfucker or dropping that motherfucker for that singular reason. Drew: second one I saw was Garrett Wilson, which that would take a lot of draft capital and a I don't think the Chiefs have the capital to do that because they did just trade well, no, maybe they do because they got an extra first round pick. Well, that was in last year's draft from the Rams for their corner, Trent McDuffie, but they just they desperately need somebody and Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: if they want to compete. for the Super Bowl, they're gonna need Amanda: They can't do it like this. Drew: more than just Rasheed Rice back. Amanda: I agree. All right. Well, we'll get over our woes and jump into the episode with you guys. We're gonna do a few different segments. So we are gonna do a keep trade cut segment as we did last week. Top performers and disappointments on the weekend. We're gonna go over all of your big injury news, get you prepared for waivers. But first, let's start with some trust issues. There's a few of them. So let's dive in there first. Drew: Alrighty. First one I want to discuss on trust issues is gonna be the Texans wide receiver room. What do we do here? Cause the game wasn't awful from Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: like the Texans offensive standpoint. let me bring it up here. Like twenty seven, twenty score twenty one points. It's not a terrible number to hit. Obviously Amanda: No. Drew: they'd like more, but it's not awful. but CJ twenty points in half, or in in this league I'm looking at, i isn't bad. two touchdown passes. They just what do you do with the receivers? I mean, Xavier Hutchinson had fifty six percent snap share. Amanda: He was the leading receiver, yeah. Drew: Nico Collins sixty seven percent snap share. So like Hutchinson is clearly on the field more than Marv at twenty one percent snap. Tank Dell got twenty three percent in his first time back since twenty twenty four. Kayshawn Booty, who they traded for this offseason, 31%. Jalen Knowle, rookie, they d or second year play, they drafted him last year. So he he's at 31%. That's six receivers. That's too many receivers for fantasy football to Amanda: Too many. Mm-hmm. Drew: get that much work. And I don't I what are they gonna do? Like Nico getting six targets is not enough targets on a weekly basis to rely on as a wide receiver one for fantasy, or even a wide receiver two for that matter. Amanda: No, in my opinion, if you are the Nico Collins manager, use his name and try to get him off your roster. I I think that's an unpredictable wide receiver. There's just so many options. How do you know, like, yeah, they should be using Nico the most frequently? Because he's gonna be super duper productive. He is that guy, but if they're gonna pass the ball around a ton, you can't trust it. So like use his name, try to get a big talent moved and get somebody else in return. But that's scary. Drew: Yeah, ev like their top two fantasy and half PPR this week was Xavier Hutchinson and Marv. Amanda: 'Cause he scored. Drew: Because they both scored. Like Xavier Hutchinson six targets, three catches, seventeen yards and a touchdown. If he doesn't have that touchdown, it's awful. Marv, Amanda: Yeah. Drew: one catch on four targets for six yards and a touchdown. If he doesn't have that touchdown or that catch, that's a goose. Like Tank Dell had One catch for forty-three yards that was off of it wasn't even thrown to him. Amanda: It was tipped. Drew: It was tipped to him from the receiver in front of him, which is why it also went for forty-three yards because it was a weird messed up play. I I just I don't think you can trust anybody. And I I think you're right. I think that Nico's a guy that I would trade away using his name I assuming that I can get back good pieces. Amanda: Yeah, you you're not just gonna take some chump for him. You want a good piece back, but Drew: No, but I mean, would you take I don't think you get it d done, but Matthew Golden coming off of a bad week, would you I would take Matthew Golden too, because everything's consolidated. So Amanda: Absolutely. Absolutely. Yes. Yeah. Drew: what you're looking for is a guy that in an offense with consolidated targets that you know is gonna get a lot of play that has the ability to go off for for big points. So I think Matthew Golden's a great one there. Amanda: Mm. Drew: depending upon your roster construction, Jamison Williams, but I'm not so sure after the week, he just had you get him this week. Amanda: Nope. Drew: All right. The other situation I want to talk about is the forty nineers, San Francisco Forty Niners, Mike Evans or lack thereof problem. it's an issue. They just lost Amanda: Huge. Drew: to Atlanta and they clearly, clearly don't have any receivers on their roster. Amanda: No, yeah, that looked rough because again, Watkins, Cowen, Cooks, if Christian Kirk comes back, that's not their hope. like they're not gonna be able to survive with that. And yes, they can use, you know, George Kittle the most as much as they can. They can overuse CMC until they hurt him, but Drew: He was a no, Christian Kirk was back. He was active thirty percent s thirty percent snapshare. He just didn't Amanda: shit. Drew: even have a target. Amanda: Nice. Okay, cool. Yeah, I just I don't th they can't get it done like this with Mike Evans out and if they bring it back too soon, he's j he's old, he's just gonna keep getting hurt and Drew: Yeah. Amanda: Debo's like they're just they're riddled, which we knew. Drew: It it was it was exactly what I thought it was gonna end up being, which was the Kittle McCaffrey show. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Now K McCaffrey we'll talk about here in a little bit, unfortunately in the injury segment. But and Amanda: Mm. Drew: then Kalon Black looks good. So the ability for Kalon Black to look good means that they can use CMC in the passing game more and make up for some of the stuff they're missing with Debo, but it's all screen game dump off, like you're not putting CMC out wide and having him take the top off the defense. And again, same issue that Kansas City had. If you don't have anybody that can take the top off of defense and all your shit is short or intermediate stuff, really tough to get an offense moving down the field, which Amanda: You can't do yeah. Drew: means it's gonna hurt George Kittle's middle of the field. It's gonna hurt the run game because they're just gonna put eight in the box and say, Okay, Cowing, go beat us. Okay, thirty-three or thirty-four year old Brandon Cooks, beat us. And it's just not gonna happen. I I I would love to see Because I want Evans to be there for the long term for the forty niners. Amanda: Yeah, me too. Drew: So I'd love for them to not rush Evans back. I I think they need to go get Juwan Jennings and bring him back because he Amanda: Bring back. Yeah, yeah. And at least like you said. Drew: can alleviate a lot. And then you're taking then a guy like Cowings or a Watkins or Brandon Cooks can be the second guy or Christian Kirk can be the second guy. Maybe they're hoping Christian Kirk can be that guy And just coming off of injury they're they eased him into it, but I I don't know. And Amanda: Yeah. Drew: how long until Debo comes back? I'm they're they're on a bye this week, so if he comes back the week after that helps them move the football, but it's not like he's gonna take the top off either. Amanda: No, no. They they need that a guy that can challenge the defense slightly, even if it is in the Juwan Jennings source of at least he can be a threat enough where they put some respect on his name and they're going to defend him as so where the other guys again they just know like, okay, beat us with these guys and we're gonna protect Kittle and C C or C Drew: Luckily Amanda: C mostly. Drew: Yeah, luckily we have a week. They have a bye week so Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: we can figure out going into week nine matchups. We'll I was gonna say let's put a ball on this, what would you do with the forty nineers players? But luckily we get a week to decide 'cause i if they played this next week and nothing changes in their wide receiver room, it's a you play CMC, you play Kittle, and you cannot play Brock Purdy until he gets another receiver because they're just the the yardage isn't gonna be there to make up for the fact that, if he only throws one touchdown, you need two fifty plus passing yards to be a usable fantasy option. But we'll see what happens in a couple of weeks. Amanda: All right. Well, that's all we got for our trust issues segment. Let's go ahead and move over to keep trade cut. So we did this last week. We're gonna throw out a name and me and Drew in as much why do I always want to use the w wrong word? Like I wanted to say sequ I wanted to say sequence. Like that's not Drew: It's gonna be t synchronicity. No. Amanda: the right word, but I would've wasn't going for synchronicity either. whatever. In sync, in sync. There I was going with I want as in sync as possible, we're gonna say Drew: Which is synchronicity, but that's okay. Amanda: Yeah, but on Amanda's level, we're gonna go keep, trade, or kit. Okay. Drew: Yes. And most of these w what you'll see a differentiation, but the first four names are absolutely keep, trade, cut. When we get a little bit further down the line, it is going to be more keep or trade. obviously you won't cut some of these names. but some big names we need to to talk about as well. So first one is gonna be Marvin Harrison Jr. So keep, trade, or cut. Three, two, one, keep. Good luck Amanda: trade. okay. Drew: with. Trading him. Amanda: Yeah, I don't think you can get a trade out of him, but I don't really want him. I don't want to question like if I'm looking at my roster, I really don't want to have to have the Marv conversation every week. Should I start him? Should I start him? now and I don't want to have that Drew: you can't start him. No. Amanda: inner feud with myself when I don't and he has a twenty point week. So like I just would rather not deal with it. So correct. Drew: Okay. If you can get anything for him, which I think based on name value and you it look, you've got to be persuasive Amanda: Maybe. Drew: in trade talks, but I think you could get something for him. It's just not gonna be something that you're gonna want. So could you if you really desperately need running back help, could you find a team that has five usable running backs and maybe get a Woody Marks, maybe, but you're not gonna get something good, right? Amanda: Not looking so fun. Yeah. Drew: so okay, and then I my ke my keep would just be because I wanna see a little bit more of it. Now I think they're on buy this week, so that makes it more difficult to be able to keep But if I could see I wanna see one game after the bye week to see what happens. Does his snap percentage that week after the bye go up to sixty plus percent? In which case I'll be happy. Again, he was just traded, he's gotta learn the the playbook. So all right, next one coming off another great week, Mr. Trey Tucker. Keep, trade, or cut. Three, two, one. Amanda: Keep. Drew: Trade. Okay, we're opposite there. Why Amanda: okay. Drew: keep? Amanda: I I think he's looked great, number one. I think he's proven to be the wide receiver one outside of Brock Bowers. He stretches the field beautifully. He takes a good deep ball. And I think he's a usable startable guy. Specifically matchup dependent, but this was not a matchup for him. This was statistically not supposed to be a Trey Tucker start option, and he still proved he can be valuable. I think that he is gonna be one of the best worst options out there right now. And I'd rather have him than like a Jordan Addison. At this point where at least I'm getting some consistent output from him. Drew: Okay, so here's why I say trade. Kirk Cousins may not make it that much longer. Amanda: Yeah, how long do you think they're gonna keep him in there? Drew: They play the Jets this week. If he loses to the Jets Amanda: He done. Drew: Well, maybe not. they've got the Jets and then they've got at San Francisco Amanda: smiley Mendoza can get it done. Drew: at San Francisco, home against Seattle, at Denver. I don't know if that you want to put Mendoza into that type of a shitstorm to start your career. Amanda: Shit store. Drew: So there's a chance that Kirkco makes it to the week thirteen by and then they put in you know, if they're out of it, which they should be, they put Mendoza in against the Chargers, Denver, Tennessee, Arizona, and Kansas City to get some experience, but they've lost four straight and it's about time to move on, in my opinion. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: and rookie quarterbacks are just a lot less trustworthy. They're gonna try to protect him. He's gonna take less deep shots, everything that rookie quarterbacks normally happen. So I wanna capitalize on Amanda: It's fair, it's fair. So sell on the high. Drew: yeah, I d it's simply because I think I you can sell him while he's at the highest and I mean, a hundred and three yards and a touchdown's great, but it's on five catches, so If he doesn't get a deep ball and a touchdown, which again, if nobody gets it, they don't score, but I'd just sell him on the high. Amanda: I like it. I like it. Drew: All right, third name, Chase Brown, Amanda: I don't want to talk about this one. Drew: running back for the Bengals. Keep trade cut. Three, two, one, keep. Yep. Keep. It's a tough one. Amanda: It was most indecision ever, 'cause that's it's just sad. It's not what you wanted out of Chase Brown. Yeah. Drew: Yeah, now the the team is winning, which is great. Downside is they're winning with him not doing anything, and P P, smaj Ryan keeps sniping touchdowns. And they just continue to give him the Amanda: Stupid pee pee. That's what we call P Ryan, by the way. Drew: ball. however, he started out really poorly last year. It's a high flying offense. Give it some time and hope it turns around. And I would rather be on the receiving end of that turnaround. So he's the type of player that I'm willing to bet my season on. Amanda: When did he bust out last year? 'Cause that was a big twenty twenty five trade in our league. Yeah, after week six. Drew: Yeah, it's not the it's not the s yeah, it's not the same thing because Joey was hurt last year, Burrow. Amanda: True. Drew: But yeah, he was it was week seven, he had eleven points and then twenty four, fifteen, fifteen, fourteen, seventeen, twelve, thirty, twenty seven, seventeen. So it was about this time last year that he actually started going off. Amanda: Just thawing out a little bit. Drew: Yeah, it's seventy five percent snapshare. Amanda: Probably easy to get right now. Drew: Sixteen opportunities. Yeah, I think he's a good trade four target, honestly, especially for a team. if you look at your team right now and you go, My team's good enough to Amanda: They don't need running back. Drew: make the playoffs, which is important. You gotta get to the playoffs, hope for it, But you you're like, I don't think I could win it. Go for broke. If you ain't first, you're last, as Ricky Bobby would say. Coming second in fantasy doesn't mean shit. All right. let's go to Rome Adunze. Keep trade cut. We did this last week as well. He might be on the list every week. All right. Three, two, one, keep. Amanda: Keep Hey, we did the same time. Drew: No, we were delayed. Amanda: sounded good to me. Drew: We'll see what it looks like in post. yeah, I w I would keep Roma Dunze. He's on the field a lot. Amanda: I would too. I want a piece of the offense. Yeah, he's on the field a lot. I like the offense. High flying. They're doing a lot. They're moving the ball a lot. I'd like a piece of it. Yeah, sometimes it's gonna be a sketchy sit start question, but I think Drew: Yeah. Amanda: he's trustable enough that you're not like clinch butt cheeks nervous about giving him the go. Drew: Yeah, if you're in a twelve if you're in a twelve team or bigger, especially PPR, I think he he's gonna be a a weekly flex play. Cause I I I'm probably gonna play him over Devon Vale most weeks, which may or may not work out, but there's there's a lot worse out there, and he's so involved in the offense. So all right, let's get to some big name guys. We're not gonna cut these guys, so it's more of a trade or you know, keeper trade. But Derrick Henry been struggling without Lamar. They haven't been using him as much. Keep trade not gonna cut, so three, two, one, keep. Yep. Let's Yep. Amanda: Keep. Yeah, I'm just I'm waiting for Lamar to come back. yes, it's disappointing, but Snoop Huntley cannot hold it down. They are not using Henry either because they know like what's the point in putting this dude out there to get him potentially injured when they're just stacking the box against him anyways. They only have one receiving threat in Zay Flowers. That's the only thing people are scared of. And I just hold out on Derek Henry and once Lamar's back, you'll be happier. Cause think about how Henry started when Lamar was healthy and there. Shit was boomin', baby, 'cause they're scared Drew: Yeah. Amanda: of Lamar. They're not scared of Snoop Huntley, so Drew: Yeah, I think it's also a decent trade for target as well. Amanda: Agreed. Drew: all right, I got two more names I want to go over. Garrett Wilson, the man who is yelling at his quarterback on the sidelines during the game, as he should. At neither was Geno Smith. Amanda: Never good. Yeah. Drew: two receptions. Do we Amanda: Bad. Drew: do you keep or do you trade What do you think? You're trying to trade him? Okay. Amanda: I'm trying to trade him. I'm trying to trade him. Yeah. You're holding him. You're holding him in hopes Drew: I have Amanda: that he goes to a different team. I agree with you. It's smart where if if there are trade rumors out there that he might get traded, then yeah, that only is Garrett Wilson's that guy. Drew: As as a Garrett yeah, as a Garrett Wilson manager, I am just desperately hoping that the Jets move on. Amanda: If he stayed what if he stays on the Jets? Do then you're missing your window. So not that yeah. November. Drew: Yeah, though so there will be the the NFL trade deadline is about two weeks before the fantasy trade deadline. If he stays on the Jets after the NFL trade deadline, I will probably try to move him. I don't see why the Jets would keep him. Omar Cooper Amanda: Me either. Drew: Jr.'s played really well since coming back. Their team's not good enough to compete. Gino's not the answer at quarterback, which means their timing is going to be off with other people. You've got A.D. Mitchell, he's a fine two with Omar Cooper Amanda: He's good, yeah. Drew: as your one. And you've got Kenyon Sadiq, just go with a youth movement and just screw all the older players. Get rid of them. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Start with youth. The only way that they wouldn't do, Aaron, yeah, Aaron Glenn's not long for that that team anyway, the head coach. He'll be gone. I just don't see why you just don't do a full reset there. Get rid of the highest of get get a couple more first rounders. So all Amanda: Yeah. Rebuilt for next year. Yeah, I agree. Drew: right. Last one here, super disappointing. Also have him in two different leagues. AJ Brown. What do we do here? Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Six targets, three for forty eight, still having a bit of the drop seats problem, and quite frankly looks bad. He looks very slow. Like really slow. Amanda: Yeah. Yes. I my biggest thing here is like I I'm holding him in hopes that he came back a little early. So ankle was supposed to take a couple of weeks longer. He came back a little early. Maybe this is just a couple weeks of him feeling himself like maybe he's just nervous, gotta get himself back on his feet, take a couple hit like this is his leg. So if you think like some of these people miss time for like let's say Baker, hand injury, right? He still could run and practice and keep his stamina endurance up. There was stuff that AJ Brown couldn't fundamentally do while he was healing. Drew: For sure. I'm so what I'm worried about is the time it takes for him to get back ramped Amanda: Yeah. Drew: up will eliminate me from the fantasy football playoffs because I will continue to play him because you're not gonna bench him Amanda: You're not gonna bench him. Drew: and he's gonna get you five, six, seven points a week for the next three, four, five weeks, and he's going to ruin your season. And then by the time he starts balling out, you'll be the best team outside of the playoffs come week fifteen, sixteen. He'll go off for twenty two points and he would have won fantasy managers championships. But instead, Amanda: Yeah. Drew: you're not in the playoffs. Amanda: You're not wrong. Drew: I think if you're I think if you are a team that has two or three wins at this point and you're desperate for wins, I think you have to trade him to get immediate value because I don't think he's gonna bounce back quick enough to help you. If you're a team that is six and one or five and two, I think he's a guy that I would go target and say, Hey, I can afford to let him ramp up a little bit. I'm gonna go get him with the hopes that this is a league winning move. Because I can get him at cheap at a cheaper value at this point for a team Amanda: Mm. Drew: that's desperate. That's how I would treat this. Amanda: Yeah, I like it. I like it. That's a it's a hard it's a disappointing one. Drew: All right, let's get into injuries. That was our keep trade cut segment. get into some injuries this week. Luckily, injuries were seemingly down a little bit this week, which was good. running backs, which took the biggest hit. You had CMC, had a thigh injury. He missed part of the first half. You saw him go back to the locker room. He did come back out, finish the game, and he's on bye this week. So I'm again, we are recording Monday afternoon. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: We don't get all the injury information before we record this. So hopefully it's good news by Thursday that it's just it was a bruise and and he'll be back ready to go. Kenneth Gainwell, hip injury, exited briefly but returned, kind of a fringe guy. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Vailus Jones ruled out Sunday night. That won't matter because Sharps is coming back and Price will be back before long. Same for CJ Donaldson, running back for the Saints. Doesn't really matter a whole lot 'cause you'll have A Chan Jr. back. They're also on by this week, so He'll be back to fourth on the depth chart. Jalen Waddle, chest possible shoulder injury. couldn't finish the game. This could be a major injury or it could be a minor one Amanda: Jan Waddle. Drew: week injury because it's Jalen Waddle. And well, he leaves football games about fifty percent of the time. So hopefully he's okay. Amanda: Yeah, here's how I feel about Jalen Waddle too, is like for any Jalen Waddle manager, let's say he is injured for the long term. yes, it sucks, but now you don't have to make the painstaking decision to throw that motherfucker in your lineup and get pissed off at him. So Drew: Let's say let's say he goes to IR, he's gonna be out for four weeks and you already have an IR spot taken up. Do you just drop him? Yeah, I do too. I don't think he's no. Amanda: Yes. I'm not worried about if someone picks him up and wants to bait into that and if he has a good game, I'll take it. I'll take the hit. Drew: If I i if I need the roster spot, I would drop Jalen Waddle. Now, if I've got Amanda: Absolutely. Drew: an IR and I can afford to hold him, I'll hold him. But if at any point it looks like I need that spot, I drop him. All right. Rashid Shaheed, knee injury Sunday night rolled out. We don't know what it is yet. And I'm missing one here. there it is. We got a couple more at the top. Jalen Knoll turf toe. So hope I'm that's one extra person out of the Texans wide receiver room. Amanda: Okay. Drew: it sucks because it's injury, but it's good for fantasy. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: all right, I missed three up here. I had to scroll up. All right, Aaron Jones, running back from Minnesota, aggravated previously strained MCL. Mason was hurt, and then they ran Jones into the ground, and then now Mason's back and Jones is hurt. So Mason, full go. Amanda: Sounds sounds about right. Drew: Cam Scataboo overtime busted a long run that he basically just went down on his own, which typically is like a pulled hammy or or or groin or quad or something. Yeah. Amanda: He's fine. Drew: Felt hamstring discomfort, went down on his own. They do have a bye week, so we'll get more information. And Tyrone Tracy also hamstring injury and didn't return for the Giants. So Devin Singletary. Amanda: Honestly, just you know what? The literal New York Giants backfield went from I can't trust anybody to well there's nobody to fucking trust except Devin Singletary now. Drew: John John Harbaugh saw the production and went, nah, didn't actually happen. Cut all. They all suck. Idiot. Amanda: However, okay, two things. Number one, my very optimistic ass saw Cam Spadaboo, hello, Cam Scat wasn't it Drew: What's that? Cim spat about her? Amanda: wasn't English. saw Cam Scattaboo go down and I'm like, he just did that on purpose. And Drew's like, he would have scored and ended the game if he could. I was like, I would be optimist. Drew: Yeah, she's like, no, he just did that to end the game and I like, Amanda, if he scores a touchdown, the game's over. The Texans already had the ball. Amanda: Being optimistic, okay. However, at the very end, I think Devin Singletary, Cam Scotty, but if it Tyrone and Tracy or somebody else, they all got in this little cute little huddle together and they were like, Good job, guys. I was like, Yeah, you show T Burr out for heartball. Anyways, I like cute shit. Drew: All right. couple other fantasy relevant but not fantasy players that got hurt this weekend. There were four offensive linemen that got hurt. Taylor Morton or Moton, I think it's Moton. he is the Amanda: It's not Morton Salt girl, so Drew: he is an offensive tackle for the Panthers. He fractured his fibula, it's pretty gruesome. that look at what has happened to Tyler Shuck and the Saints offense now that they don't have their starting left tackle and they were already not a great offensive line. Look at all the teams that have bad offensive lines and what it does to fantasy. Amanda: Disney bode well. Drew: look at Green Bay, right? Their offensive line has been terrible the entire season and you basically haven't been able to start their running backs, even though it seems like you could. Speaking of them, they lost two more our offensive linemen from an already terrible offensive line. so Josh Jacobs, who, although look looking hefty, all broke quite a few tackles this weekend. Maybe he c his running he can run the ball very well because there's nowhere to run the football behind when you're getting tackled two yards behind the line of scrimmage. so impact there and on Jordan Love and on Watson and on Golden and on Kraft because if you don't have time to throw the football, offense isn't gonna move very well. And then Charles Cross, offensive tackle for the Seahawks, also got injured. So could be some issues there just letting you know that there is more relevance than. Just the skill guys getting hurt. Amanda: Just yeah, just the guys you can start or sit on your roster. We also want to look a little deeper than that to figure out is our quarterback gonna survive? Or can our running back even find a lane or are they just gonna shut him the fuck down? So. All right. Well, that's all we got for injuries, news, and updates after week seven. Let's dive into a little optimism, our top performers of the week. We're gonna start with quarterback. This is quarterbacks that score 20 or more fantasy points in week number seven. We have some normal people and some sneaky guys. So Joe Burrow came in with twenty eight point nine points. We talked about the ineffectiveness of Chase Brown right now. That means a lot of passing for Joe Burrow, which bodes well for fantasy football. Even though the first half looked sketchy AF for the Bengals. They rallied. Drew: Has a tail of two halves. Amanda: Yes, that was in. I was so depressed with T. Higgins, and that I was very happy. It was just like very bipolar disorder there for TT. Yes, you did. Drew: Also called that one right. Always does it against the Ravens. Amanda: Love me some TT. All right, Drake May. Again, staying steady, even with underperformance from AJ Brown, 28.4 points for half PPR for Drake May. Drew: Yeah, he's back to an auto start for sure. Amanda: Yep. Bonix, 26.3 points. You know, not because he passed the ball that much, but he did bust like a 64-yard run, which is like the longest run since Garrett Wilson like, or not Garrett Wilson, shit. There Drew: Justin Fields. Amanda: we go. Justin Fields is since like 22 or 23, so good for him, I guess. Malik Willis, 26 points. Geno Smith, 24.5, even with a not great performance. Caleb Williams, Kirk Cousins, and Michael Penix Jr. I'll make in the list here. Drew: Yep, pretty good. I don't care about Penix or Cousins or Gino or Malik Willis. you know, just w one one off weeks they can happen. Caleb, nice to see him bounce back, especially in a non favorable matchup against the Patriots. So you can trust him going forward. Bo Nix, I am not trusting him just because of one performance. Amanda: Absolutely not. Drew: It was it he should have bounced back. He played Arizona, so Amanda: He should have pounced back better than that. It should have been better than that. And it wasn't. Drew: yeah two hundred twenty two passing yards, a touchdown, seventy four rushing yards and a touchdown's pretty good. But that I regardless, that's Amanda: All to his what ride his fucking running backs? I don't whatever. Bonics. Fucking bonics. Drew: that's a good game from Bo. Give him some credit, but I just Amanda: Just shitting on bone today. Drew: I don't I don't believe that that is indicative of future success. I need to see it like three or four weeks at this point after years of him being terrible. Amanda: true that. All right, let's get to our running back top performers. Fifteen. Drew: Tony Pollard Amanda: Thou who shall not be named is at the top of the list. You can infer who the fuck that is this week. Moving on, Bucky Irving, 23.5 points. Quinson Judkins, he came back, and he came back good. Very, very good. Who? Who which one? Quinsha? Quinson. I thought I just said it wrong because I can't fucking say anything correctly. I add like S's. Drew: y you mispronounced his name? You mispronounced his name. His name is Quinshaw Studkins, please. Please refer to him by his correct name. No Studkins Amanda: Quinshawn Studkins was study out there. Drew: Studkins, thank you very much. Yep, go Browns. Amanda: okay. Ramondre Stevenson, 20 points. I'm really not using Henderson at all. Christian McCaffrey, Cam Scataboo who benched Cam Scataboo this week. Hi, my name's Amanda, who was a little upset about that. Hi, my name's Amanda. Yes, I literally the whole time I was Drew: Look what happens when you give the man seventeen touches. just let him Amanda: like, you know what? I didn't want to deal with the drama. I put him on my bench. It's fine. Aaron Jones, fuck you, but okay. and here we are. But nonetheless A bag run yes, yes. Drew: And he had a big run called or not a big run, but a a decent run called back 'cause he absolutely destroyed a guy when he ran him over and they called him for lowering his helmet. After the Amanda: He was so mad about it too. Drew: game, yeah, he basically just said, Did you hear the interview after the game? Amanda: No. Drew: he literally got interviewed after the game. He asked about that play and he said, basically like, I'm gonna run the way I wanna run, and they're telling me that like I I can't lower and do this. He said, if they're wanna keep finding me for it, I'm gonna run the way I wanna run and I guess I'll just be playing football for free. But then but he also called the NFL out 'cause he said they'll use that clip for promotion for the NFL and then and then they'll Amanda: Yeah, hard hit. Drew: f and then they'll fine fine me for it. Amanda: They want the these guys to play hard, yes, Drew: The clips. Yep. Amanda: and then they're n pun yeah. Anyways. Jonathan Taylor, eighteen points. Drew: Nice. Amanda: Emmanuel fucking Wilson. No one had balls of steel to yeah, put him in. Drew: Yeah, sitting on my bench. Why in the world t yeah, let's just screw around every week and play nineteen running backs and then how about we just give Emmanuel Wilson twenty four carries when it matters? So dumb. I cannot stand that franchise anymore. Amanda: not? Let's see what happens. I know it. Josh Jacobs. Yeah, we're just gonna Drew: Yep. Eleven for thirty six on the ground's pretty, pretty, pretty bad. But five for fifty five and a touchdown through the air is pretty good. And he was a finger tip Amanda: It's abysmal. Yeah. Did you I I D Dre wasn't watching. Drew: he was a finger tip away from getting a second touchdown too. Amanda: Yeah. Touchdown. Yeah. Drew wasn't watching when he had his first carry or something. The Lions Stadium, r as they should, booed the ever-living shit out of him. And then did a lot throughout the entire game, but it was noticeable and loud. Ashton Genty, seventeen point six points. Kyron Williams, seventeen point one, even though he got tutties stolen from him by Blake Corum. DeAndre Swift, seventeen points. Ollie Gordon with a nice sixteen point eight Blakeworm. A what is what is the we call Brian Robertson the dupe or what did the girl one girl on our Patreon say? Drew: The Timu version, the Bij the T Mu or something, B. John Robinson. Yeah. Amanda: The T or something like that. Yeah. And Blake Corham's the T mu version of Kyron Williams, so there's that. Yeah. Drew: It just keeps sniping touchdowns, pissing me off. Amanda: Braylon Allen at sixteen point four points. Thank you, Brees Hall, for just not playing. It's easier. And Jalen Warren still holding it down for fifteen point two points. Drew: Speaking of the Jets, trade Brees Hall and just play Braylon Allen. It just makes more sense. And then also Amanda: Yeah, that's what I would do. Yes. He's playing good. Drew: Yes, and from a from a franchise standpoint, it makes more sense to just get more draft capital, to put more talent on the field around your next quarterback, which is not Gino. That's not the future. They need to get somebody in the draft. Why not? and then Blake Corum, again, I've talked about it all season long. They dominated that game. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Blake Corum will get fifty percent of the work when they're dominating the game 'cause they're gonna try to keep Kyron fresh. What it is, it's annoying, but Amanda: Yep, which is right. It's correct. It's a it's the right way to handle a two-field back robe. Yes, but at least it's not the fucking Seahawks who are losing and are still shifting through people, right? All right, let's move on to the wide receivers. Fifteen plus points. Yeah, yeah, that was Drew: You talking about the Seahawks who just dominated the Chiefs? Yeah. Amanda: yeah, yeah, interesting. Anyways. wide receiver, fifteen plus points. We had Jackson Smith and Jigma looking like a beast. Drew: He is so fucking good. Amanda: my god, it's disgustingly awesome. T T Drew: I'll tell you what who TT did great. I'll tell you who looks just different this year. JSN and Zay Flowers look different than other receivers this year. Amanda: Different. Yes. Yes. Drew: They look they play very similar where they they look like they're floating when they run. They look like Amanda: I I I agree. You know what, I think Drew: hummingbirds where they can they're so quick twitch and Amanda: Ha ha Drew: they look like they're floating. They look like they're untouchable. I just they're so much fun to watch. Amanda: They do. you can you can cover JSN all you want, but you watch him run around and I'm like, the fuck is that? that is awesome. Drew: They just look so different. Amanda: Also, Zay Flowers looks like he's just having a good fucking time. he just looks like he's having fun. Drew: Yeah. Well he's finally healthy enough. Amanda: Yes. And that makes such a difference too. So JSN, T. Higgins, Zay Flowers. If you stuck it, we said Jameson Williams, boom or bust. Well, he had a good old boom game for you this week. 23.6 Drew: Yeah. Amanda: points. Luther Burton. Definitely looking like the wide receiver one for the team. So that's Drew: He is we were watching that game and I said Luther Burden's the Almon Ra. Luther Burden is the guy that Ben Johnson is scheme Amanda: Steady Eddie. Drew: he's scheming stuff up. Luther Burden to me is boring on what Almon Ra became of you just he's an auto start every week, doesn't matter the matchup, because they will find ways to get him the football no matter what happens. Amanda: Mm. Yeah. Omar Cooper. Like we said, obviously he Drew: Yeah. Amanda: had a twenty point week and at this point he he's enough to hold the house down to get them through this year. They could build upon him in years to future. He he had another great week. Caleb Douglas with a twenty point game. If you were desperate and you needed to go down the rabbit hole, Drew: Two touchdowns. Amanda: that that benefited you. Not someone you can start every week. Okay. Amon Ross St. Brown, nineteen point seven points. Casey Concepcion, nineteen point two. He did look really good. Drew: He looked really good. He looked really good. Amanda: Yeah, I I I am I'm agreement there. Trey Tucker with eighteen point eight points, Puka Puka with seventeen point eight, and Drake London with sixteen point one. So a lot of your guys you could trust came for ya. Came through for ya. Drew: Absolutely. Amanda: All right, last one here, tight end top 10. Not top 10, 10 points are higher. There's more than 10 Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: of them. ooh, someone well, Drew: How about this one? Amanda: also it was tight end week, okay? So it was like national tight end day. And typically a national tight end day produces some really great tight end football. And it's always the rogue dudes. Okay, I made a lot of bets and none of them worked out for me. We don't want to talk about it. Drew: Wild. Amanda: Wild behavior. Nonetheless, Mason Taylor, 22.7 points. Some contested catches too. Drew: Yeah, he mossed two guys first two touchdowns and he looked really good. again, youth Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. Train Drew: youth movement for the Jets. Amanda: Agreed, agreed. And they have the Kenyan Sadiq dude, so he's good too. Drew: Correct. Yeah. Amanda: all right. Trey McBride hogging all the targets. 13 targets. Looked like a beast, 22.1 points. And with no touchdowns, mind you. Colston Loveland, 16.4 Drew: Coast and Loveland. Amanda: points. He's back. wait, no, Trey McBride did have a touchdown. I'm sorry. Colston Loveland back in action. Davis Allen, undetermined who you Drew: Yep. Amanda: are, but good job, buddy. Drew: He's the third currently the third tight end for the Rams, yeah. Amanda: For the Rams? Okay. Drew: Two touchdowns. Amanda: Well didn't Colby Jack Cheese get hurt too? I think he did. Drew: I don't think so. Amanda: whatever. Eli Reardon. we used to have this kid in high school named Rear Reardon and it s sounds like that every single time and he wasn't really a good football player, but nonetheless Drew: He's invite he's so he's the Patriots' second tight end and Amanda: Second tight end. Yeah. He's looked good this year. Drew: he does look good. They're they use him. He's not fantasy relevant 'cause he just doesn't see enough targets. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: but he's he's a good NFL player so far. Amanda: Yeah, and Drew Black did indeed call it. Tickercraft did score a touchdown. Drew: Boom, baby. First touchdown guarantee of the year. Nailed it. Amanda: Nailed it! 12.8 points. Darren Waller, touchdown saved him 11.5 points. TJ Hawkinson, touchdown saved him 11.5 points. Greg Dulich. Dolchich. Dulce. Drew: Dulcich. Greg Dulcich. Amanda: You're just here. Everyone listening is here to hear me say shit wrong. 11.1 points. He was gonna be my rogue tight end option and I didn't have the balls for it. Yeah, I know. Drew: You you mentioned that w when you were looking at our your bets, you mentioned Greg Dulcich's name, which you didn't say right then either. And Amanda: Mm. Drew: then you're like, You were trying to say his name and I said, Are you trying to say Greg Dulcich? And she goes, Yes and just starts laughing and I was like, It's not a bad option. I mean, he's athletic. I thought coming out 'cause he w he went to Denver out of college and I Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: was really high on him 'cause he was super athletic and he just Sean Payton didn't like him, I guess, so he didn't turn into Amanda: Yeah. Drew: anything. Amanda: All right. George Kittle would have been better without the fumble. Drew: Good job. Amanda: Kyle Pitts, ten point seven points still. Hunter Henry Drew: Scored again. Amanda: yeah. Henner Henry, ten point six. Brock Bowers, that's a disappointing week for Brock Bowers, okay? Ten point three points of playing against him, and I was happy about that. Harold Fannon Jr. with ten point one points. So if those are your top performers in the tight end position, some just squeaking in there. Drew: All right, let's get into our disappointments of the week. We are going to go to the quarterback position and Cam Ward, six point seven. Although I don't know how you can be a disappointment if you're just always bad. So sorry, he's just not good. Patrick Mahomes, seven points. That's again, we talked about it. And until he gets a receiver, I don't think you can play him. Amanda: Yikes. Drew: Bryce Young, seven point four. That's pretty bad. then you've got Brock Purdy, Didn't crush you completely this week, but definitely didn't help. That second interception was pretty bad. The one that he Amanda: Yeah. Drew: threw on the sideline when he was trying to throw the ball away was terrible. That's just inexcusable. and then Jordan Love this week. Again, he didn't crush your soul, but he we expected more from Amanda: He got close. Drew: him this week. So are you worried about I mean we talked about Patty. I don't think we can you can really play him until he gets receivers back or gets new receivers. anything else? Brock, we talked about him as well. I think you gotta wait till that c clears up a little bit. Amanda: I'm yeah. I'm worried about Jordan Love's offensive line issues with more offensive line injuries. And then Bryce Drew: Yeah. Amanda: Young had one too, and Bryce Young's just a l wee little dude, so if Drew: Yeah. Amanda: he doesn't have time to like get his shit together, that also frightens me. Drew: Sure, sure. All right, let's get to the running back position. Rosan Johnson, not Monungay. So we'll just be clear there. Everybody thought, Monungai's out. They were splitting work sixty forty between Swift and Monungay. Yeah, Roshan Johnson is not Monungai. so I think he is full drop. Amanda: Yes. Drew: Aaron Jones injured. we'll see what happens before we talk about IR versus dropping. Amanda: Mm. Drew: Trevo, Trevion Henderson, another disappointing Amanda: Ecky. Drew: game. Also, they're still playing three guys. let me find this real qu yeah. I wanna look this up real quick. Amanda: Dicky icky. I just don't think Vrabel likes Trevion Henderson and that let's just end it there. Drew: Twenty four percent snapshare. Ramondre had sixty nine up very nice. Amanda: Nice. Drew: Corey Kiner had eleven, including four touches on eleven percent snapshare, which is wild. Yeah. I I I think Tra I I think he's a full drop. Amanda: Do too. I who's picking would you like if you saw him on the waiver wire wouldn't like, Yes, I'm getting Drevion Anderson? No. Drew: I I you people for sure. So again, I think this is a good guy to drop before your waivers. So if you listen to this on Tuesday before, Amanda: yeah, trade bait bait in. Drew: not trade bait, but it's a landmine. Remember we talked about that? Amanda: Well, yeah. Land mine, yeah. Drew: Yeah, I think this is a landmine because 3.4, 4.2, 4.3, 0.5, and 3.3. Those are his half PPR points since week three. One game Amanda: Yeah. Drew: this year, 13.6 week two. Other than that, completely unusable. And he's Hurt you because you've expected something. I think he's a landmine. I think you put him out there and hope that you can Amanda: Let somebody else step in that shit. Drew: yep, ruin somebody else's season. Amanda: All right. Drew: All right. Kendra Miller, not a great outing. A lot of work went to Alvin Kamara this week. Again, Hand Amanda: A lot of check down, yeah. Drew: Jr.'s coming back next next week. So I I think Kendra's probably a full drop. Derrick Henry, we talked about him earlier. Kenneth Walker. talked about that earlier as well. And Jameer Gibbs right around 15 half PPR points, which is wild that that is a disappointment because you're expecting him to get 25 points now. Amanda: It is I think in Sleeper it was he was projected twenty six points, which is fucking wild. Drew: He had a hundred and thirty hundred and foot hundred and forty three yards, all purpose yards. He just didn't score. Yeah, I'm not worried about him, obviously. Amanda: Yeah, he didn't score a touchdown. Yeah. I have Kenneth Walker and Jameer Gibbs on my team and that was sad that I lost. Drew: Remember when Jameer Gibbs almost hurt himself? Amanda: Yes, yes, and Drew: Which we're not sure he's not hurt by the Amanda: Dear Jameer Gibbs, if you're never gonna listen to this Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: and never know who I am, and that is okay, but please, for the love of all things holy, do not get hurt on your own volition. Let somebody else do it. Don't do it to yourself, Ma my dude. He looked incompetent of sliding. It was like his brain glitched. He's so used to pushing that he was like Drew: In case you guys didn't see it, he well, they were trying to run they were trying to run the clock out and Green Bay was trying to let him score and he got a first down and then basically tried to sit down at the two yard line, but he twisted his own knee when he did it and hopefully he's okay. Amanda: Did you see the when they I think Green Bay fall start or off off whatever, whatever it's called, when the offense is playing and the defense comes into neutral zone? Drew: called either a neutral zone infraction. Amanda: Okay, so it's probably the neutral zone infraction. And Jameer Gibbs like pointing at the other team and like kicking his little feet like it was you, it was you. Drew: Yeah, half the team did it. Amanda: And all I could see, well, everyone's dialogue was like, how is that not taunting? Like Matthew Golden flexed on a guy last week and got flagged for taunting, and he these guys are literally like, doo doo doo doo doo. And that and all I everyone's commentary was like, because the refs were just refing favor of the Lions because of Josh Jacobs playing. Drew: The i yeah, it was the the yeah, but the the the Amanda: Was the Josh Jacobs Punishment show, which i it should be, but Drew: difference in the quarter personal foul roughing the quarterbacks, that impacted that game a lot. Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. It was that was alar it was alarming. Yeah. All right. Sorry. Drew: All right, let's do receivers who killed us this week. Khalif Raymond, that's a full drop. Ted Hurst. The reason he's on here is simply because Emeka Akbuka didn't play. So Ted Hurst was thought to be a good fill in. nope, that was a goose egg. I played him. Jalen Amanda: Yeah, yeah. Drew: Coker, ouch. Nico Collins, awful this week. Talked about that. Brandon Cooks, not good enough to fill in for the 49ers. Kanada Mumfield. not good enough to fill in for Devontae Adams. I think I think all of those guys except for Coker and Collins are full drops. Amanda: Yes. Drew: Kendrick Bourne just that entire at that entire Arizona team just Amanda: What the fuck was Jacoby Brissett doing? what was the play calling doing? It was weird. Drew: I I I don't know. I think Kendrick Bourne's damn near a full drop now as well. Amanda: I know. Drew: Six targets is great, but Jacoby's not good. Amanda: No, I don't Drew: Xavier Worthy, disappointing. Wandale Robinson disappointing. Josh Downs, I would trade him Amanda: I hate you. Drew: for a bag of peanuts. I mean, give me anything. Amanda: I'm gonna try to put Josh Downs and Kendrick Board in a combo together and move and pray. Drew: I don't think you could get anything for them. Yeah. Amanda: Dude, I know I can't, but I have no other options. I need a receiver really bad. Drew: Garrett Wilson, we talked about him earlier. Demario Douglas didn't have a touchdown, so not great. I also played him. Didn't play him when he did well though. Amanda: Woo. Drew: Jeremy B Jeremy Bernard down week this week. Yeah, that was weird. That well that entire Amanda: That hurt, that hurt, that hurt. I wouldn't don't trust the plot like trust the plot on Jeremy Bernard. Drew: Yeah Don't give up on Jeremy Bernard. Amanda: No. Drew: I again I don't know they play the Browns this next week, so maybe give up on him for another week because the Browns are gonna dominate again. Amanda: Nah. Fucked up. Drew: no, probably not. But that game was just give the ball to Jalen Warden and Rico Dowdle because the Saints couldn't stop the run game. Yeah, so I'm not I'm not worried about him right now. Denzel Boston, a little disappointing, but eight targets is great. Amanda: It was the running back show. No. Which they can't, but that's why we called a good Jalen Warren game, so no. Again though, but that's like not the first week this has been very disappointing. Boston has been disappointing for several weeks in a row. Drew: Again, I I wa again, I watched the game. He it's not like he's doing anything wrong. They put they put they had played really good defense against him. Keenan Allen, a little disappointing. Tet McMillan, very disappointing. AJ disappointing. Justin Jefferson, Matthew Gold, and Christian Watson all down weeks. Golden and Watson. I know the offensive line that that worries me a little bit, but I'm not, you know, long I'm not terribly worried about them. JJ. Kyler's not good. Kyler's not good. Amanda: No, no. Well you'd be better off if Carson Wentz came back in. Mhm. 'Cause Drew: Yeah. Yeah. Okay. No, I actually don't think that's correct. I think it would be better I Amanda: He consolidates targets. Drew: think it would be no, I think it would be better for fantasy. I don't think it would be better for the Vikings because Kyler's running Amanda: to be clear, I don't care about anything except fantasy, but the Vikings are winning. Drew: is keeping their drives alive because he can't throw the football. Yeah. It's the worst undefeated team I've ever seen from the offense. Their defense is just so good. All Amanda: Are they still undefeated? Disgusting. Disgusting. Yeah. It's so bad. Drew: right, let's get to the tight ends. Juwan Johnson, I am Borderline drop territory. Amanda: What was his target share or what was his snap share? How much was he even on the field? I'll look, I'll look. Drew: I if I see so I never looked. Hold on, let me look. You look, let me guess. I'm gonna guess, cause if it's above thirty percent, I'm gonna call horseshit. twenty eight percent. Amanda: It was fifty six. Drew: No, it fucking wasn't. I watched so much of that game and Juwan Johnson was almost never on the field. Amanda: Fifty soon. Drew: So what was no offense? A hundred and twenty percent? Amanda: 46? 46? Drew: This is that's wild. Yeah, not a fucking chance. I watched too much of that game and saw no Juwan Johnson. Amanda: that's that's upsetting, yeah. Mm-hmm. Drew: They got Jersey numbers confused or something. Isaiah likely who said that weird. Likely. Said like an Amanda: Yeah, you did. Locally. Drew: Australian likely. he Amanda: Something like that. Drew: got hurt during the game, I thought. Amanda: No, he just you thought he looked hurt at one point. Yeah. I just think he's tired. Give him a week Drew: That's that's correct. He was limping around. yeah, first game with JJ. Amanda: off. Drew: Sam Laporta down week on National Titans Day after the video came out where he talked about not getting a contract extension. And Tyler Higby, who we expected to have a big week. Amanda: Ruppro schetios. I'm so sorry to anyone who I told to play Tyler Higby. Drew: The the the process was correct. The touchdowns you just got Davis milled. Or not Davis Milled. Amanda: Yep. No, you got s Allen? You got Davis Allen, baby. Drew: Davis Allen, yeah. Yep. All right, those are the disappointments of the week. I think we got one more segment, is that right? Amanda: yeah, no, teams with buys. So we have Texans Saints Giants forty Niners are all of our teams on buys this next week. and then we'll dive into some early waiver wires, players to target, some baseline information. We tell you guys this all the time. We film this prior to knowing a lot and prior to Monday Night Football, but at least we can get you something to get your foot in the door. So who are we looking at? Drew: Jonah Coleman, I think, is number one. He returned from the IR, nine carries, fifty four yards, and two catches, led Denver running backs. Amanda: And that entire offense is going through the running back room right now. The entire offense. So all of them are startable guys Drew: Yep. Led running backs. Amanda: right now. Drew: Here's the big thing, led running backs in snaps thirty to sixteen to fourteen between him, JK, and RJ Harvey. So he was Amanda: thirty sixteen fourteen. Drew: yeah, so he was half of the running back snaps. The other two split the others. So I I don't know if that's gonna be prescriptive for the future, but it's definitely worth the ad, especially with the running back landscape with the injuries and buys. Omar Cooper Jr., if he is not rostered in your league, he needs to be rostered at this point. KC Conception, again, if people dropped him because of some slow weeks, I think he is a good ad. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: a good speculative ad, Jordan Tyson. He's gotta come back soon. They'll be on by this week. Be one week early. So if Amanda: Yes. Drew: you have the availability to pick up a guy that's on a bye week, go pick Jordan Tyson up. He's a rookie receiver for the Saints. Drafted very highly in the first round. Go pick him up this week. That way you don't have to spend a lot of fab or whatever going into next week when he will be probably the priority. Zach Charbonnet, if he's not rostered, I think it's a good good time to to make sure he's rostered. let's see who else on this list. I like Chigakonquo. I think he's a good option to pick up at tight end. Rico. I think if you desperately need a a a play because of an injury. Amanda: Or using him. Drew: Yeah, if there's an injury or by weeks, I think he's a good fill in. Rico Dowdle, that is, running back for the Steelers. Brenton Strange gets to play Indianapolis or Indianapolis.
