- 0:18Speaker 1: think we're on episode number eighteen. Possibly, I can't believe
- 0:24Speaker 1: I don't know what episode wrong. Nonetheless, we are here.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Shout out to everybody who gave us all the great
- 0:28Speaker 1: feedback on the MC eight interview a couple of weeks
- 0:32Speaker 1: ago and the Action Bronson interview that dropped last week.
- 0:34Speaker 1: We are on episode eighteen. Welcome to episode eighteen. The
- 0:37Speaker 1: Bootleg Cap podcast is officially old enough to buy porn

- 0:48Speaker 1: on in the world right now. Donald Trump's got the RONA,
- 0:52Speaker 1: and I'd like to go on record and say if
- 0:56Speaker 1: I gave my true thoughts, I'd probably get canceled and
- 0:59Speaker 1: or fired from any sort of position that I'm in
- 1:02Speaker 1: in life. So I will go ahead and just say
- 1:04Speaker 1: we wish him a speedy recovery. And it's still fucked,
- 1:08Speaker 1: Donald Trump, you feel me? Nonetheless, Man, crazy like week

- 1:44Speaker 1: Westside Guns new album is officially out finally his Shady
- 1:49Speaker 1: Records debut, and he has two Slick Rick features on

- 1:58Speaker 1: one slick Rick feature, I would have been extremely impressed,
- 2:02Speaker 1: but the fact he pulled off two is just insane.
- 2:06Speaker 1: So shout out to a West Side Gun. His official album,
- 2:10Speaker 1: Who Made the Sunshine is out this third project this year,

- 2:47Speaker 1: great week for hip hop. I suggest my first two
- 2:51Speaker 1: listens if you're listening right now, go straight to that
- 2:54Speaker 1: twenty one Savage album. Go straight to that West Side
- 2:57Speaker 1: Gun album. I haven't listened to Bryson Tiller's album yet,
- 3:02Speaker 1: I'm hearing good things about it. I really really enjoyed
- 3:05Speaker 1: Trap Soul, not so much the second album, but once
- 3:09Speaker 1: I hear that, I'll give you guys my feedback on that.

- 4:57Speaker 1: Go do that. Today's episode is an interview with the
- 5:02Speaker 1: hottest artist in La right Now the hottest up and
- 5:06Speaker 1: coming artist. DJ Head, my co host That Real ninety
- 5:10Speaker 1: two to three put me onto this kid a long
- 5:12Speaker 1: time ago. This is actually somebody had tried to sign
- 5:15Speaker 1: and man, such a talented guy, such a nice dude.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Super excited to talk to this guy. His name is Blast.
- 5:25Speaker 1: He put out a EP that's incredible and really just
- 5:30Speaker 1: on the cusp of being that next it guy. So
- 5:34Speaker 1: let's get into this podcast man, episode number eighteen with
- 5:38Speaker 1: Blast right here. Man, it's the boutleg Cab Podcast. Let's
- 5:41Speaker 1: get to it. Boutlet Cab Podcast special guest in here.
- 5:46Speaker 1: We got the hottest artist in LA right now. Damn
- 5:49Speaker 1: that's heavy, bro. His name is Blast. What's the deal man?
- 5:53Speaker 1: What's up? Man? It's crazy because DJ Head has been
- 5:55Speaker 1: telling me about you for so long. My co host
- 5:58Speaker 1: and I remember remember him and Sallas talking about you,
- 6:03Speaker 1: and I guess dj had tried to sign you or
- 6:06Speaker 1: approached you to the hell. I don't know. Yeah, but
- 6:09Speaker 1: he was like, yo, Blast, the only guy I ever
- 6:11Speaker 1: tried to like work with. Right, Yeah, he told me
- 6:14Speaker 1: that too. Shout out DJ Head. That's good people, always
- 6:17Speaker 1: giving good advice. Yeah, we definitely sat down before it
- 6:21Speaker 1: had some some talks. Give me some of your background, man, like, like,
- 6:25Speaker 1: where are you from in LA because a lot of
- 6:26Speaker 1: you know that I heard I see you rocking the
- 6:29Speaker 1: Cranshaw had sometimes like where are you from in the city,
- 6:33Speaker 1: So I just say I'm from LA. I grew up
- 6:36Speaker 1: on the east side of LA seventy fifth and Central, Okay,
- 6:39Speaker 1: over there by Freemont High. Then I moved to Inglewood
- 6:42Speaker 1: and then high school years I moved to the Ie
- 6:45Speaker 1: with my dad. Oh shit, So you're just like, yeah,
- 6:48Speaker 1: La through and through a Yeah, that's crazy. Yeah. So
- 6:53Speaker 1: your man, your shit is so fire. Bro. I first
- 6:56Speaker 1: like tapped in with you the project you guys drop
- 7:01Speaker 1: the joint tape together, which is fucking LA classic. But
- 7:05Speaker 1: give me some of your background as an artist, like
- 7:07Speaker 1: how long have you been making music? Man? Like? Like
- 7:10Speaker 1: when did this shit become your your job? Like Okay,
- 7:14Speaker 1: this is what I'm gonna do now, Like yeah, I mean,
- 7:16Speaker 1: I would say fresh out of high school. I started
- 7:19Speaker 1: producing and recording myself simultaneously. So I was just teaching
- 7:23Speaker 1: myself on YouTube, fucking with fl studio and in pro
- 7:28Speaker 1: tools and download downloading different programs, just teaching myself and
- 7:32Speaker 1: I fell in love with it. This was probably like
- 7:33Speaker 1: eight years ago. So okay, so you're you record yourself,
- 7:39Speaker 1: you make beats, ya, you sing? Yeah, do you mix
- 7:44Speaker 1: and master? Yeah? So you're like fucking Russ two point oh,
- 7:49Speaker 1: You're like LA's Russ, just the one fucking stop shot.
- 7:53Speaker 1: You're keeping all the money. Yeah. I do my my
- 7:57Speaker 1: cover art two and most of my post production on
- 7:59Speaker 1: my videos as well. You do your cover art, your
- 8:02Speaker 1: you know, your your EP artwork was fire and looking
- 8:05Speaker 1: shout out EP on my Eagle Team. She creatively put
- 8:09Speaker 1: that together. That shit's dope, man. So so you kind
- 8:13Speaker 1: of became a master of the craft, just every aspect
- 8:17Speaker 1: of it. What was your like childhood, like, like what
- 8:20Speaker 1: like were you you know, how did you grow up?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Like did you play any sports? What were you doing
- 8:25Speaker 1: like as a kid prior to music. As a kid,
- 8:28Speaker 1: it was just running around just figuring shit out. I remember,
- 8:32Speaker 1: like the first thing to come to my mind is
- 8:34Speaker 1: riding bikes with my friends. That was the best, right,
- 8:37Speaker 1: throwing rocks at house, having pegs, right, just a little
- 8:40Speaker 1: bait hop on the back tire bro exactly. Yeah, I
- 8:43Speaker 1: mean it was cool until you get older you realize,
- 8:46Speaker 1: like certain locations you're not supposed to go to and
- 8:49Speaker 1: stuff like that, territories and yeah, it kind of changed
- 8:52Speaker 1: my perspective as I grew up. But yeah, that was
- 8:55Speaker 1: part of the reason why my mom wanted me to
- 8:56Speaker 1: go to the i E. My dad to get away
- 8:59Speaker 1: from that that like exactly was uh going how much
- 9:04Speaker 1: of a because a lot of people who aren't from
- 9:06Speaker 1: the LA area, they'll hear someone from Riverside and they'll
- 9:09Speaker 1: be like, oh, that's La. Yeah, Like what's the big
- 9:11Speaker 1: difference culturally you think, like from what you were like
- 9:15Speaker 1: before your mom sent you to to I E. Like
- 9:18Speaker 1: what changed the most Just me knowing everybody in the
- 9:22Speaker 1: neighborhood really like everybody more to theyself out there. When
- 9:27Speaker 1: I was a late younger, It's like everybody's more outside
- 9:30Speaker 1: and vocal and you know, everybody on your block, you
- 9:33Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Out there, it was just like
- 9:35Speaker 1: everybody to theyself. So I would say that's the most
- 9:39Speaker 1: change that I seen. Do you remember the first time
- 9:43Speaker 1: one of your records like like hit us, Like, like
- 9:47Speaker 1: do you remember like your first like song that got
- 9:50Speaker 1: moving online? Like what was like was it something when
- 9:53Speaker 1: you were in high school? Like what was like, like
- 9:54Speaker 1: even if it was like just the homies really like,
- 9:56Speaker 1: oh shit, Like people really like my music even if
- 9:59Speaker 1: it's like thirty of them, Like yeah, nah, for sure.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I used to put songs on my Space back in
- 10:05Speaker 1: the day, shout out to my space. You know who
- 10:06Speaker 1: was in your top eight though? Real quick, damn, I
- 10:09Speaker 1: don't even remember. That's that's a good question. Are they
- 10:11Speaker 1: still around? Would they from my top eight still around
- 10:15Speaker 1: to this day? That wasn't a solid top eight then?
- 10:18Speaker 1: So you had you were putting music up on MySpace, right,
- 10:21Speaker 1: and I feel like we'll reassured me to keep to
- 10:24Speaker 1: keep making music. Was girls used to upload my songs
- 10:27Speaker 1: on their page? You know how you can? Yeah, you
- 10:29Speaker 1: get paid someone else exactly. So I used to think
- 10:32Speaker 1: that was cool. I used to think I was somebody
- 10:34Speaker 1: because they were put if you if you had the
- 10:36Speaker 1: song choice on your Mindspace page was so important, that's all.
- 10:39Speaker 1: That's all the credit you needed. Back then, I would
- 10:42Speaker 1: put way too much thought into which songs that would
- 10:44Speaker 1: have as like my two or three on MySpace. So like, yo,
- 10:47Speaker 1: when people come to my page, I want them to
- 10:48Speaker 1: know how raw rap ship I'm into. I want them
- 10:51Speaker 1: to know I'll be fucking with the boom bab ship exactly.
- 10:54Speaker 1: That was your whole personality. Let me put this fucking this,
- 10:57Speaker 1: this re up gang, push your t ship on my page.
- 11:00Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. So people know, like I
- 11:01Speaker 1: with the fucking with the Nelly shit. Feel me? No,
- 11:05Speaker 1: that's crazy. So how old are you? I'm fifteen, You're fifteen, Okay?
- 11:11Speaker 1: Well how where're you graduate? High school? Twenty ten? Okay
- 11:15Speaker 1: for sure? I graduated no five, So so yeah, I'm
- 11:18Speaker 1: just trying to judge the era of music you came up.
- 11:21Speaker 1: So you obviously are like I mean, sonically, man, you
- 11:27Speaker 1: can do anything. I feel like your melodies are crazy.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Where you think you get that from? Damn, that's a
- 11:36Speaker 1: good ass question. I probably would say just growing up
- 11:39Speaker 1: in my house, my mom and my older sister just
- 11:42Speaker 1: would play anything, you know, from Erica by Dude to
- 11:45Speaker 1: Jill Scott. But like that's where most some good shit. Yeah,
- 11:49Speaker 1: my melodic side came from. And that's what really attracts
- 11:53Speaker 1: to me the most. Like melodies, Yeah, like, and I
- 11:56Speaker 1: feel like too, like melodies are are the heart people.
- 12:00Speaker 1: You know, hear a lot of people talking about like
- 12:02Speaker 1: today's music is more melodic than like in the nineties
- 12:04Speaker 1: or the two thousands. But it's like, I feel like
- 12:06Speaker 1: the melody part is the hardest part. Like you, like,
- 12:09Speaker 1: anybody can write a bunch of lyrics on a page
- 12:12Speaker 1: and then they open their mouth and they sound god awful.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Right now. That's part of the reason why, like, when
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'm recording, I just like to go with whatever I'm feeling,
- 12:22Speaker 1: because when you write it, it's not the exact same
- 12:25Speaker 1: as you will perform it, you know what I'm saying.
- 12:27Speaker 1: That makes sense. So is that your process when you're recording.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Are you like just feeling the melody out. Yeah, I
- 12:34Speaker 1: just say a melody with no words, like to a beat,
- 12:38Speaker 1: and then feel the words in it and then as
- 12:40Speaker 1: it goes Yeah, exactly. Yeah. I mean I've been in
- 12:43Speaker 1: the studio a lot. I feel like a lot of
- 12:44Speaker 1: people are kind of that's kind of like the way
- 12:46Speaker 1: they record now because I feel like, like you said,
- 12:48Speaker 1: writing it down is like it's like you're reciting something. Yeah,
- 12:53Speaker 1: I mean, especially with me having a studio of my house,
- 12:56Speaker 1: it gives me the opportunity to take my time with
- 12:59Speaker 1: it too, so to say like I'm just freestyle and everything,
- 13:02Speaker 1: but I really like to take my time and fine
- 13:04Speaker 1: what feels good versus what sounds good. Okay, So outside
- 13:07Speaker 1: of you in the MySpace moment, what was the first
- 13:10Speaker 1: record of yours? Like what like? Like, I know that
- 13:13Speaker 1: the Bino Project made a lot of waves, and before
- 13:15Speaker 1: that you were making some noise, But what was that
- 13:17Speaker 1: record that kind of put you on in the city
- 13:19Speaker 1: where you were kind of like okay, like you know,
- 13:21Speaker 1: this shit's going in the right direction. Damn, that's a
- 13:26Speaker 1: good I wouldn't even say it was one record. It
- 13:28Speaker 1: was just a buy. I know you're dropping a lot. Yeah.
- 13:30Speaker 1: It was a slow build up until the point where
- 13:33Speaker 1: where I put out until I put out the six
- 13:35Speaker 1: tape and I was like, okay, I had this record
- 13:38Speaker 1: called Savage with Bino. That was the one that really
- 13:42Speaker 1: like caught everybody attention. And I was on Bino's Sorry
- 13:45Speaker 1: for the Way tape. Yeah, so you and Bino. By
- 13:50Speaker 1: the way, Bino's project outside is super slept on it.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Go check that shit out. Father, You're on your You're Yeah,
- 13:58Speaker 1: the singles crazy. We was running that shit up on
- 14:01Speaker 1: the radio for at least a month. Man shot out
- 14:03Speaker 1: that record is crazy. How did your guys' friendship like
- 14:07Speaker 1: start up. So it's this artist y'all may know his name,
- 14:11Speaker 1: Kaitlyn for real, for real, shout out to Kaylyn. I
- 14:13Speaker 1: produced this song. He got called right with it, of course,
- 14:16Speaker 1: and uh, Beino hit up Kaitlin, like, yo, who did this?
- 14:19Speaker 1: You know even didn't even know as an artist at
- 14:21Speaker 1: the time. Okay, a lot of people know me from producing.
- 14:24Speaker 1: So yeah, Kaitlyn exchanged our contacts. I sent Beino probably
- 14:29Speaker 1: like five beats and he recorded everyone and like like
- 14:32Speaker 1: a week. Wow. I sent them back, but he was
- 14:34Speaker 1: dropping them too and putting videos out to him and
- 14:36Speaker 1: they was all going viral, like you know, on YouTube, right,
- 14:40Speaker 1: So yeah, he started putting together He's Sorry for the
- 14:44Speaker 1: Weight tape. I sent them savage and he ended up
- 14:47Speaker 1: putting that on I'm Sorry for the Weight and then
- 14:50Speaker 1: we also ended up putting that on six tape, right,
- 14:53Speaker 1: And that's how we started our relationship. That's crazy because
- 14:59Speaker 1: it's it's like like you guys recently just started fucking
- 15:02Speaker 1: with each other. But chemistry's fire. I don't know what
- 15:05Speaker 1: it is, but just his workflow is just like mine.
- 15:08Speaker 1: So it was easy. We clicked right off the jump.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Do you feel like, like you said earlier, like you're
- 15:16Speaker 1: you're like your come up and it's still you're still
- 15:19Speaker 1: in the middle of it. But like the slow grinding
- 15:23Speaker 1: aspect of it was. Was it ever like frustrating or like,
- 15:27Speaker 1: were you ever hitting walls in the music industry where
- 15:29Speaker 1: you're kind of like almost like threw in the hat? Nah? Yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 1: you definitely had those moments. But I don't know. I
- 15:36Speaker 1: feel like me being able to produce my own sound
- 15:40Speaker 1: kept me like humble enough to believe that sooner or
- 15:45Speaker 1: later it was gonna work, you know what I'm saying.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I looked at it like I'm just developing my sound
- 15:50Speaker 1: instead of like when this shit gonna blow. Like I
- 15:52Speaker 1: felt like I was just like all right, like he
- 15:53Speaker 1: was in your reps up right, Yeah, it's gonna hit.
- 15:57Speaker 1: That's fair man, Damn. So the p is uh it's
- 16:02Speaker 1: fire straight through and through, man. I was. I was
- 16:04Speaker 1: just talking to my homie from New York about it
- 16:07Speaker 1: because all people be hitting me like yo, what's it?
- 16:09Speaker 1: What's going on in l A? And then I gotta
- 16:11Speaker 1: usually hit up DJ head But nah, I mean the
- 16:16Speaker 1: epy Phoenix. Yeah, we've never met, which is crazy because yeah,
- 16:22Speaker 1: but Uh, what was I fucking saying? I'm high ahead,
- 16:29Speaker 1: talking ahead? Oh your EP, we're talking about your EP.
- 16:33Speaker 1: EP's crazy. I was extremely because I felt like every
- 16:36Speaker 1: time I was talking to anybody, uh, it was like
- 16:40Speaker 1: I've talked to people at def Jam, like and they're
- 16:41Speaker 1: bringing your name up, Like everybody's trying to sign this
- 16:44Speaker 1: full This was before this was like around the time
- 16:47Speaker 1: Beano dropped his project, but everybody had already kind of known,
- 16:50Speaker 1: like you're the guy that's next up. You signed with
- 16:54Speaker 1: Red Bull, which is very unconventional. I know Warren Bruce
- 16:59Speaker 1: was fucking with red and ye, why what kind of
- 17:03Speaker 1: give us the rundown on that decision? Because it definitely
- 17:06Speaker 1: caught me by surprise. So I'm signed under my own imprint,
- 17:10Speaker 1: which is Eagle, and we did a partnership with Red Bull.
- 17:13Speaker 1: So yeah, basically Eagle is my team that put together
- 17:18Speaker 1: and right now it's just like a management because I'm
- 17:20Speaker 1: the only artist that they focused on. Got you and
- 17:23Speaker 1: well red Bull. Yeah, everybody be saying like why you
- 17:26Speaker 1: do why you go with Red Bull? I wanted to
- 17:28Speaker 1: go to unconventional route because this was my first time
- 17:31Speaker 1: doing paperwork with anybody, So I wanted to be strategic,
- 17:35Speaker 1: and I didn't want it to be something where it's
- 17:38Speaker 1: like a long situation, you know what I'm saying. I
- 17:41Speaker 1: wanted to do something where I can learn the ropes
- 17:43Speaker 1: of things. And it was the perfect fit for me
- 17:45Speaker 1: because they understood my position and my value as being
- 17:50Speaker 1: a producer as well. So I feel like, yeah, it
- 17:52Speaker 1: was the perfect situation. It's a short term. It's a
- 17:55Speaker 1: short term deal. So are you a technically a free agent? Now?
- 18:01Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say that because I do want to.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I got some plans that I'm not speaking on right now.
- 18:05Speaker 1: So you've already signed the big, big deal. Nah? Nah.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I know. I've heard some people trying to get at you,
- 18:15Speaker 1: is it everybody? A lot of people have been tapping there,
- 18:18Speaker 1: But I'm just trying to take my time with it,
- 18:20Speaker 1: right Yeah. Like I feel like the mistake most people
- 18:24Speaker 1: make is like you're like, you're doing what you're supposed
- 18:29Speaker 1: to be doing. If a major label got involved tomorrow,
- 18:32Speaker 1: like it might beat up like some things, but you're
- 18:37Speaker 1: you're like, there's not a lot of major label can
- 18:39Speaker 1: bring to the table that you're not already besides money,
- 18:42Speaker 1: and that's gonna cut that's a fact. But even like
- 18:46Speaker 1: Red Bull, they definitely helped crazy, like with my situation,
- 18:51Speaker 1: like just with the publications and everything, helping me put
- 18:54Speaker 1: together my rollout. Oh, they was really on their ship.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Every idea we came up with it, they was they
- 19:01Speaker 1: was down there to produce it or you know, figure
- 19:03Speaker 1: out ways they can be a part of it. I
- 19:05Speaker 1: mean that company is very They do a lot of
- 19:08Speaker 1: dope dope ship that's like people obviously equated to an
- 19:11Speaker 1: energy drink, but they do so much ill shit. Nah. Yeah,
- 19:14Speaker 1: they fire fuck with Red Bull Records, absolutely fuck with
- 19:18Speaker 1: Red Bull Records and only drink red Bull because it
- 19:22Speaker 1: gives you wings. Do you get free Red Bull for life?
- 19:27Speaker 1: I hope so. I mean I'm assuming you have cases
- 19:29Speaker 1: and nah. Yeah. They definitely blessed me with the cases,
- 19:32Speaker 1: which is lovely, but yeah, I don't know if I
- 19:35Speaker 1: get it for life though. There's like a Red Bull
- 19:38Speaker 1: airplane competition. Have you seen that? They got so many
- 19:42Speaker 1: sports bro? No, but they have like a competition with
- 19:45Speaker 1: these fucking airplanes doing crazy ass ship bro. It's like
- 19:48Speaker 1: like what like tricks bro? Yeah, it's like wild. Yeah,
- 19:54Speaker 1: I've seen that fucking Red Bull man. They were raging
- 19:57Speaker 1: over there. Yeah, everything extremely part of it. That shit
- 20:00Speaker 1: crazy talk about man, Just like I know, you've had
- 20:05Speaker 1: a lot of people tap in with you. Like, like
- 20:10Speaker 1: I said, you're you're kind of the known. I feel
- 20:13Speaker 1: like it's the consensus amongst the taste makers out here
- 20:15Speaker 1: is like you're up next, who's tapped in? It's like
- 20:18Speaker 1: kind of surprised you that was somebody who you were
- 20:22Speaker 1: a fan of or somebody who you were like, oh
- 20:24Speaker 1: my god, this person knows who the fuck I am.
- 20:26Speaker 1: It's funny, as you said it earlier, Russ tapped in recently,
- 20:29Speaker 1: Russ Russ a great guy, solid dude. He shouted me
- 20:33Speaker 1: out on Twitter too. I saw that, Yeah, I just
- 20:35Speaker 1: saw that, You're right, Yeah, he just tweeted about you
- 20:38Speaker 1: like it was yesterday, the day before. Yeah, yeah, shout
- 20:41Speaker 1: out to Russ. That's crazy because I watched all his
- 20:43Speaker 1: interviews and I be feeling exactly how he be feeling
- 20:45Speaker 1: about everything. So shout out Russ. Sean love because he
- 20:48Speaker 1: didn't have to do that. You know, It's interesting with Russ.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I feel like he gets so much unwarranted hate and
- 20:54Speaker 1: I'm like, Yo, this guy's literally giving you guys priceless
- 20:58Speaker 1: game that's crazy for free, like shit, you can't pay
- 21:02Speaker 1: for shit that nobody will want to tell you. Who
- 21:04Speaker 1: could tell you? And he's just spreading the game to everybody.
- 21:08Speaker 1: And it's like, Yo, you could do nothing but appreciate
- 21:10Speaker 1: somebody like that too. Does that kind of staying independent
- 21:16Speaker 1: or or not necessarily going like the super major label
- 21:20Speaker 1: route to somebody like Russ and what he you know,
- 21:23Speaker 1: when he posted his tumb course, shit, that's just crazy, mom. Yeah,
- 21:27Speaker 1: that's pure motivation for me. When he even when he
- 21:30Speaker 1: tapped in, I was tellingim, but I was like, bro,
- 21:31Speaker 1: this is just reinsurance that I'm on the right path. Yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 1: things like that. Yeah, that's what motivated me for sure.
- 21:39Speaker 1: You have a crazy uh record with mis that you
- 21:43Speaker 1: guys just drop the video for. Are you prepared to
- 21:47Speaker 1: be the next like hook guy? I think Ty's gonna
- 21:50Speaker 1: pass you the baton. Hey, I'm not mad at that.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I'm not mad at that. Yeah, I definitely take that role.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I'm not mad at being the hook guy. I feel
- 21:57Speaker 1: like it's coming man, I do too. I feel like
- 21:59Speaker 1: it's like I feel like you're like tied. All the
- 22:01Speaker 1: sounds gonna be like yeah, t I got it for show. Yeah.
- 22:07Speaker 1: On Twitter, that's the trend, they say, blast everyone's coming
- 22:10Speaker 1: at you, Like, yeah, bro, you got to like, man,
- 22:14Speaker 1: who's your dream collaboration? Like, who's like that one artist
- 22:18Speaker 1: that even no matter how unrealistic, it is like that
- 22:22Speaker 1: that you you want to work with. People probably gonna
- 22:26Speaker 1: make fun of me, but I'll say Chris Brown. Hey,
- 22:28Speaker 1: I feel like Chris Brown is untouched with any anything
- 22:31Speaker 1: he touched it just turned it to go. I just
- 22:34Speaker 1: had a conversation with you know who, Gashy is, the
- 22:36Speaker 1: singer Gashy. So we had a conversation about how Chris Brown,
- 22:40Speaker 1: in my opinion, is the most talented artist to ever
- 22:44Speaker 1: that I've ever seen. And when I'm talking talent, I'm
- 22:47Speaker 1: not talking about I mean he could sing and he
- 22:49Speaker 1: could dance better than everybody, but he also paint your
- 22:51Speaker 1: house right and like he does murals and not humans.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I mean, he's obviously got his falls. We all got
- 22:58Speaker 1: our flaws, you know, his just much more public. But goddamn,
- 23:00Speaker 1: if you don't got more ten. This motherfucker hit a jumper,
- 23:04Speaker 1: now that's a fact. When he did that backflip on
- 23:06Speaker 1: stage and they was comparing them to Michael Jackson and yeah,
- 23:09Speaker 1: and and fair point, he'll probably take ninety nine percent
- 23:12Speaker 1: of everybody's wife's He's Chris Brown. That's a talent, you know,
- 23:17Speaker 1: gotta give it to him. M Yeah, I'm gonna put
- 23:21Speaker 1: I think you working with Chris Brown has gotta happen
- 23:24Speaker 1: in the next twelve months. I feel like it's happened.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I feel like that you can kind of you could
- 23:28Speaker 1: kind of put that in the like like in the atmosphere.
- 23:31Speaker 1: It's gonna happen. Yeah, I'm a manifest that for sure.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Chris Brown, I'm gonna work with two. Come on, what
- 23:35Speaker 1: about somebody like Super Unexpected Sada Babies a Nickelback fan,
- 23:40Speaker 1: which was fucking weird. That's the worst band ever, I
- 23:47Speaker 1: would say. Somebody like Adele Shout out to Adele Man. Yeah,
- 23:52Speaker 1: I think everything she makes is just big, like stadium
- 23:54Speaker 1: or her music is like obviously she just became meme.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Shout out to her for representing that's on Jamaica Day.
- 24:02Speaker 1: But no, but like her music is like timeless. It's
- 24:05Speaker 1: like it's like ship Like she's a living legend for sure.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Do you think you sing? Do you think when someone
- 24:12Speaker 1: loses weight like that? Does their voice change. I don't know.
- 24:15Speaker 1: That's a good question. I think I think her voice
- 24:19Speaker 1: is the same. I mean, I don't know. I don't
- 24:21Speaker 1: think we've heard Skinny Adel yet. I don't think she's
- 24:22Speaker 1: dropped some ship since she's she's been on her fitness
- 24:27Speaker 1: shout out to her though. Is there gonna be a
- 24:31Speaker 1: sequel to you and Bino Ship? Absolutely? I mean I
- 24:35Speaker 1: can't speak on Bino bed well no, he told me yes,
- 24:38Speaker 1: But you know, I just want to see. Yeah, it's
- 24:40Speaker 1: one hundred percent of go on my hand. How many
- 24:42Speaker 1: records you guys have together that are in the can?
- 24:44Speaker 1: If any, I'll probably say, like a cool ten ten Yeah, okay,
- 24:54Speaker 1: that's I mean, that's a project. There you go. Yeah,
- 24:57Speaker 1: but you know the vibes we gotta we gotta locke
- 25:00Speaker 1: in for sure. On a real note. Oh by the way,
- 25:04Speaker 1: I heard his new ship that you probably heard with
- 25:07Speaker 1: the big rapper on it. I ain't heard of it
- 25:09Speaker 1: yet him. Yeah. It's it's when you make an EP,
- 25:19Speaker 1: do you have? Because your debut album is going to
- 25:22Speaker 1: be very very important, right, Like it's like a moment
- 25:26Speaker 1: for everybody, but for you specifically. I think it's gonna
- 25:29Speaker 1: mean a lot and when you separate, like all right,
- 25:33Speaker 1: now this has got to be on the album. Yeah. Absolutely,
- 25:36Speaker 1: I got some records right now that that I know
- 25:38Speaker 1: for sure. It's like, all right, this is gonna be
- 25:40Speaker 1: on the album that I recorded probably like two years ago.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Like now, this one's got to make the album. Like
- 25:45Speaker 1: that's is timeless records that you come across. Yeah, you
- 25:48Speaker 1: gotta tuck those for sure. Has has h has Roddy
- 25:54Speaker 1: tapped interview at all? I've been already for a minute now.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I actually produced one record from It's not out though. Okay,
- 26:01Speaker 1: but yeah, Roddy, that's them, So you guys have already
- 26:04Speaker 1: had a relationship. Yeah. Absolutely. His melodies are also I
- 26:09Speaker 1: think he's got the best melodies in the game. Roddy's
- 26:12Speaker 1: the way he'd be skating on his verses, like Jesus,
- 26:15Speaker 1: it's like a soulful trap singer, Like, Yo, it's fucking crazy.
- 26:19Speaker 1: It's I saw glasses. Malone tweet something that the future
- 26:23Speaker 1: West Coast hip hop is very It lies a lot
- 26:26Speaker 1: on on whether or not it's on you, essentially. I mean,
- 26:29Speaker 1: I forget what he said and he's talking about that.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I try to swar through glasses bullshit sports takes and
- 26:35Speaker 1: get something good, and he said something about like the
- 26:37Speaker 1: future of West Coast music depends a lot on me,
- 26:41Speaker 1: on your success. When you saw that, like like that mean,
- 26:44Speaker 1: you know, Glasses of a a og out here, Like that's
- 26:47Speaker 1: a lot of you know, that's a lot to carry,
- 26:49Speaker 1: a lot to handle, especially in my position. But I
- 26:53Speaker 1: just look at it as like, I don't know, I'm
- 26:56Speaker 1: just grateful, you know, at the end of the day,
- 26:58Speaker 1: Like I can't really I don't really like to brag
- 27:01Speaker 1: or nothing, Like I'm humble, like I keep everything not
- 27:05Speaker 1: too high and yeah, when I see stuff like that,
- 27:08Speaker 1: it's just reinsurance for me. Like I said earlier, it's like, damn,
- 27:12Speaker 1: that's big. Like g Malone is a legend. Shout out
- 27:14Speaker 1: to Glasses man. He's also just a very very He's
- 27:18Speaker 1: like the Skip baylist of hip hop. If you ever
- 27:22Speaker 1: want to follow someone on Twitter and want to break
- 27:23Speaker 1: your fucking computer screen, just follow glasses mom at gimlum.
- 27:27Speaker 1: That's my boy. What do you do, like, like give
- 27:31Speaker 1: me some some some some you know, it's like diving,
- 27:34Speaker 1: Like what are you doing like in your spare time, bro,
- 27:36Speaker 1: Like when you ain't fucking being a musical genius and
- 27:39Speaker 1: ship and and trying to take my job on real
- 27:42Speaker 1: naety two vacation. Yeah, but nah, what do you like?
- 27:47Speaker 1: What are you into? Man? Like? You watch fucking like
- 27:50Speaker 1: what kind of movies? Like you play video games? What
- 27:52Speaker 1: do you Yeah? I mean, of course I play video
- 27:55Speaker 1: games called it duty two k of something that people
- 27:58Speaker 1: don't know. I like sometimes I watch cartoon. I like
- 28:01Speaker 1: the Avatar, the Avatar cartoon. Yeah, that's the anime, right, Yeah,
- 28:07Speaker 1: they the movie wasn't good. They're like real life movie.
- 28:11Speaker 1: They's talking about the one with like the blue No no,
- 28:15Speaker 1: no, no no, no no, I mean the fucking that they
- 28:16Speaker 1: did an anime version of the Airbender ship. I don't,
- 28:20Speaker 1: I don't, Oh you're talking about it was like a
- 28:21Speaker 1: real life It was horrible. Yeah, but I I heard the
- 28:24Speaker 1: I'm not into my son's in the all the the

- 28:32Speaker 1: That's like another air for me. But but the Avatar, Yeah, Avatar,
- 28:36Speaker 1: that's my ship. Do you ever watch that show where
- 28:38Speaker 1: they be in the middle of the fucking forest and

- 28:43Speaker 1: you talking they like on the island Bro, there's this
- 28:46Speaker 1: show called It's on an Amazon Prime or Netflix. That

- 28:54Speaker 1: it is called Lost and they got to survive off
- 28:57Speaker 1: the land. That ship is crazy. It is crazy. I
- 29:01Speaker 1: feel like you have to be Caucasian to do. I
- 29:04Speaker 1: don't know, man, I just feel like it's like they
- 29:06Speaker 1: just like who if, by the way, I'm white, So
- 29:09Speaker 1: it's just some white people ship, Like who's getting dropped
- 29:11Speaker 1: off in the middle of the desert, like voluntarily, Like
- 29:14Speaker 1: like that's some whole other ship. I couldn't be a
- 29:17Speaker 1: part of the way. I'm sorry. I don't know. I

- 29:38Speaker 1: Other collaborations, we talked about you being the hook guy.
- 29:41Speaker 1: You said, yeah, I could see that, which means that
- 29:43Speaker 1: you're definitely gonna be on some ship that's already been
- 29:45Speaker 1: recorded coming out. But like, what are you already having
- 29:48Speaker 1: it tucked like hook wise, I know you're gonna very shortly.
- 29:52Speaker 1: People aren't gonna be able to afford the feature. But
- 29:54Speaker 1: you know, right now, I just did some ship with
- 29:58Speaker 1: Tiger and I also did some shit with Russ recently.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Tiger and Russ, Yeah, well separately, but yeah, yeah. I
- 30:07Speaker 1: don't want to hear a Tiger and Rest song. I'd
- 30:09Speaker 1: like to hear Black. I'm just being honest. I don't
- 30:11Speaker 1: want to hear them together on song. I'd like to
- 30:13Speaker 1: hear you want a song with Tiger, right, I wouldn't
- 30:16Speaker 1: want to hear Tiger on a song with Tiger though.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I think I like, you'd have to be honest for
- 30:19Speaker 1: me to like shout out to Tager though last Kings.
- 30:21Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, How did you Tiger? I mean, no,
- 30:25Speaker 1: Tiger's a legend. Let's not get a fucked up, But
- 30:27Speaker 1: how did you and Tiger get together? You just reach it?
- 30:29Speaker 1: Tapped in now, He tapped in on Instagram strength. It
- 30:34Speaker 1: was just like, let's work. And I was like, damn,
- 30:35Speaker 1: that's crazy. A lot of people be tapping in. E
- 30:37Speaker 1: forty reached out. You got you know what you always
- 30:41Speaker 1: got to give forty the feature. Man, that's that's automatic.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Forty Come on, you ever see like look at the
- 30:47Speaker 1: track list on E forty's albums and you'll see all
- 30:50Speaker 1: the features and you'd be like, nobody has ever told
- 30:52Speaker 1: E forty no for the feature because he'd be having
- 30:54Speaker 1: everybody on it ship no matter how big that It's like, Yo, no,
- 30:59Speaker 1: he's got E forty's album fucking track list. First of all,
- 31:02Speaker 1: they're like eighty songs, full drop a triple disc on
- 31:06Speaker 1: you bro. Nah. But one thing about forty he wanted
- 31:08Speaker 1: an artists. It's a few of them that never have
- 31:11Speaker 1: a week verse. Oh never. Mazi another one of them,
- 31:15Speaker 1: Oh forever. Yo, that's crazy. Mazi has never had a
- 31:19Speaker 1: week verse ever. And E forty is one of the
- 31:21Speaker 1: greatest of all time. I think he's on the West
- 31:24Speaker 1: coast when you do the round Mount Rushmore, he's the
- 31:28Speaker 1: only Bay representative up there. Shout out to forty man.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Forty water is a legend. Damn. So E fortyes tapped
- 31:34Speaker 1: in Russ. So you and Russ have actually done like
- 31:36Speaker 1: the record exists for you or for him both. So
- 31:41Speaker 1: you guys, you guys do too, Yeah, little trade off
- 31:44Speaker 1: something like that. Okay, is that gonna be the one
- 31:46Speaker 1: that you talk like? Okay, this is an album one
- 31:49Speaker 1: I'm having the base with Peru. Right now, I'm trying
- 31:51Speaker 1: to put it on the deluxe for no leve Loss.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Oh shit, Hey, honestly, it might be a moment man,
- 31:56Speaker 1: man honestly, especially because he just tweeted about you. Right,
- 31:59Speaker 1: Are you trying to put it on the album or
- 32:01Speaker 1: the or the deluxe of the EP? I want to
- 32:04Speaker 1: put it on the deluxe once I got something, I'm
- 32:07Speaker 1: ready to Hey, I'm voting for that because I like
- 32:09Speaker 1: to hear it. Yeah, but your boy probably it's still
- 32:13Speaker 1: in talks. It's still in talks shit, and then the
- 32:17Speaker 1: bino shit is just you guys. It's it's crazy because
- 32:19Speaker 1: now you guys are like, he's on def jam. Now
- 32:24Speaker 1: you got your situation. Is it harder to like, does
- 32:28Speaker 1: the business get any more difficult for you guys to
- 32:30Speaker 1: do some shit together as opposed to like when y'all
- 32:33Speaker 1: did the first one? Or it's like yolick licious put
- 32:35Speaker 1: the shit out because nobody can tell us any different. No,
- 32:37Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, it's the only thing I would say
- 32:40Speaker 1: is different is just signing papers. Now you know what
- 32:42Speaker 1: I'm saying. But it's the same workflow, Yeah, same workflow.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Have you ever switched up out of fruity loops. Yeah,
- 32:50Speaker 1: I mean I mess with able Teon, I mess with reason.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, that's like you can tell a
- 32:58Speaker 1: lot about our producer sometimes when you know, like what
- 33:00Speaker 1: they're what they use. Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I feel like Ableton is uh is fire. Yeah, you
- 33:07Speaker 1: get more flexibility, like able Toon for sampling and stuff
- 33:10Speaker 1: rants from fifteen hundred put me on Ableson. Shout out
- 33:14Speaker 1: to fifteen hundred and nothing man, shout out to rets.

- 33:20Speaker 1: the Deluxe obviously is coming to and I'm assuming Yeah, no,
- 33:26Speaker 1: no specific date, but I plan to drop it late
- 33:29Speaker 1: October early. No. Besides Russ, is there gonna be any
- 33:31Speaker 1: other features on the Deluxe? There's gotta be right, yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 1: Like who just one out there, bru. I mean I
- 33:40Speaker 1: already mentioned his name earlier, but you mentioned his name earlier.
- 33:45Speaker 1: I still want people to anticipate. Oh you're talking about Tiger. Yeah,
- 33:49Speaker 1: but I still want people to anticipate me even doing feats. Wait,
- 33:52Speaker 1: so Tiger's gonna be on your Deluxe Fire shout out
- 33:56Speaker 1: to Tiger Man. That's lit yo, he's been he tapped
- 34:01Speaker 1: in man. Yeah, Tiger got his ears to the streets.
- 34:04Speaker 1: That was crazy. I wasn't expecting for him to even
- 34:07Speaker 1: know who I was. That's crazy. Your relationship with Bino
- 34:13Speaker 1: did that start after Nip had passed her around that time?
- 34:18Speaker 1: It was right before, right before I was gonna ask
- 34:20Speaker 1: you if you ever had any interactions with Nip. I
- 34:22Speaker 1: met Nip one time at the Racks in the Middle video.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Shit actually oh shit, okay you know Keifa? Yeah, of course. Yeah,
- 34:29Speaker 1: he introduced me to Nip and yeah, I told him
- 34:33Speaker 1: like I worked close with Bino. He was like, yeah,
- 34:35Speaker 1: he already know. I'm locked down with Beno. Damn. That's crazy.
- 34:38Speaker 1: That's it's terrible that it would have been crazy to
- 34:40Speaker 1: hear you guys do some sugar man legendary ship. Yeah?
- 34:44Speaker 1: Who Who's uh? Have you ever? Have you had any
- 34:48Speaker 1: artists try to sign you yet? Not like you know
- 34:51Speaker 1: how they're There's there's artists that have their situations. A
- 34:54Speaker 1: couple of artists as the same already. Did you Are
- 34:57Speaker 1: you entertaining it or absolutely not? I mean I feel
- 35:00Speaker 1: like I'm capable of left, like I said, producing my
- 35:04Speaker 1: own sound. I got my team, so it's like I
- 35:09Speaker 1: don't think I can ever signed to another artist? Is
- 35:14Speaker 1: it how important is it for you? Like if there's
- 35:16Speaker 1: an artist into watching this that doesn't that only knows
- 35:19Speaker 1: how to do the artist part, the singing, the writing,
- 35:24Speaker 1: Like what's the importance of having all that other shit? Like?
- 35:28Speaker 1: Is it freedom? Like? What is like? Because you? Because anybody?
- 35:31Speaker 1: I feel like if they really apply themselves, they could
- 35:34Speaker 1: learn how to record themselves. You know, they can like
- 35:37Speaker 1: mixing and mastering. Those are things you just just watching YouTube. Yeah,
- 35:41Speaker 1: I mean, for one, that's gonna save you money, of course,
- 35:44Speaker 1: and for til you want to just be hands on
- 35:46Speaker 1: with your creativity, like when somebody else put a hand
- 35:50Speaker 1: in it, then it's not one hundred percent of yours
- 35:52Speaker 1: no more. Which is not a bad thing to collaborate
- 35:55Speaker 1: of course, but I just want to be able to
- 35:57Speaker 1: know you know fully. I feel like in twenty twenty man,
- 36:03Speaker 1: with no touring and shit, a lot of artists need
- 36:05Speaker 1: to start. They got to bring their costs down because
- 36:09Speaker 1: the live show shit is crazy. Like when they costs down, yeah,
- 36:13Speaker 1: because they't like what features no no? Yeah, well that no.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I mean like there's a lot of artists who depend
- 36:19Speaker 1: so much on the road that they might want to
- 36:21Speaker 1: learn how to record themselves so they can save some
- 36:23Speaker 1: money because the live show game is like it's crazy
- 36:28Speaker 1: because you'll probably be back to normal by the time
- 36:30Speaker 1: it's gonna make sense for you to like headline some shit. Man,
- 36:33Speaker 1: I can't wait till I can perform. That's the one
- 36:36Speaker 1: thing that I haven't been able to do yet. Just
- 36:38Speaker 1: headline my own show. I feel like right now it's
- 36:41Speaker 1: the perfect time. But everything like that right now is
- 36:44Speaker 1: like the like, Okay, we got to go to the
- 36:46Speaker 1: Roxy Glass because he sold it out two days in
- 36:50Speaker 1: a row and he's gonna have all the special guests. Yeah,
- 36:54Speaker 1: that is crazy, man, And you know that's like a
- 36:56Speaker 1: moment every an LA artist has. They got that Roxy show.
- 37:00Speaker 1: That's like, yo, you gotta go through that tunnel to
- 37:01Speaker 1: get to the next level. And then and then you
- 37:03Speaker 1: get the Palladium one like a year later. If you
- 37:05Speaker 1: if you're do any right thing, I remember that specifically
- 37:07Speaker 1: with like that, like that first Rody show was so crazy.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Did you go to that? Nah? Didn't? Yeah? That ship
- 37:16Speaker 1: was that ship was like, okay, this is special what
- 37:21Speaker 1: with with the coronavirus? Ship has that like personally affected you,
- 37:26Speaker 1: like any any sort of Like my grandma died from
- 37:30Speaker 1: that ship, so I passed away from that too. Damn
- 37:33Speaker 1: sorry to hear that. Bro. Yeah, man, motherfuckers is really
- 37:36Speaker 1: out here on their conspiracy theory ship like it's fake.
- 37:38Speaker 1: I'm like, bro, yeah, I take it very serious as well.
- 37:41Speaker 1: But yeah, not as far as my workflow, everything been
- 37:45Speaker 1: the same because I record at the house anyway, and
- 37:47Speaker 1: I'm not really out and about like that unless you know,
- 37:51Speaker 1: duty calls. But everything been the same. What about like
- 37:55Speaker 1: the music video shit, like, because it felt like the
- 37:57Speaker 1: first couple of months people were like kind of scared
- 37:59Speaker 1: of you videos. I definitely I turned down by a
- 38:02Speaker 1: couple of directors, like early on. Now I feel like
- 38:05Speaker 1: it's like fuck it, We're doing it. We're pushing through. Right.
- 38:08Speaker 1: There was Motherfucker's shooting videos like like g Eaz and
- 38:12Speaker 1: Jack Harlow had a whole entire video that was just
- 38:14Speaker 1: people on Skype. I was like, bro, you could have
- 38:16Speaker 1: just waited like thirty more days and then everybody would
- 38:19Speaker 1: have chilled. Right. I got a video show tomorrow, matter
- 38:22Speaker 1: of fact, Oh you do? Yeah? Is it a solo joint?
- 38:25Speaker 1: Something off EP? Which record be alone Fire EP Special
- 38:31Speaker 1: Man it's it's something that I think is like it's
- 38:35Speaker 1: it's it's like it backed up the hype. You know
- 38:39Speaker 1: what I'm saying, because, like I said, a lot of
- 38:40Speaker 1: people talking about you, they just pressed play on that.
- 38:42Speaker 1: It's like, oh, I get it now. Yeah, that's why
- 38:45Speaker 1: the response being crazy. Like I've been putting out a
- 38:48Speaker 1: bunch of songs, singles, and then of course I put
- 38:50Speaker 1: out the tape with Beino. But people was anticipating, like
- 38:54Speaker 1: what can you yourself? Yeah? So I feel like, yeah,
- 38:58Speaker 1: like you said, it lived up to it's expectations. Are
- 39:01Speaker 1: you a smoker man? Nah? No, smoke no? Are you
- 39:06Speaker 1: a drinker? Sometimes? Occasionally? What is your vice? My vice?
- 39:13Speaker 1: You don't want to have me? He have me the
- 39:15Speaker 1: baby size down July? Bro? I know, they came back
- 39:17Speaker 1: from the liquature with these I'm like, what am I
- 39:19Speaker 1: supposed to do with this? Bro? Looks like a bottle
- 39:20Speaker 1: of potion from a wish. It's like somebody trying to
- 39:24Speaker 1: fucking give me mousey ors and some shit. Bro. No,
- 39:29Speaker 1: but what's your advice? I don't know. We all got vices, bro.
- 39:36Speaker 1: My vice? I don't know, probably some weird shit like
- 39:39Speaker 1: eating late Oh that's everybody walking to my life? You
- 39:42Speaker 1: see this belly bro shit. I eat late. I feel
- 39:45Speaker 1: like I can't go to sleep unless I eat, which
- 39:47Speaker 1: is a horrible thing I know. But fuck I mean yeah,
- 39:50Speaker 1: walking to my life? Yeah, so that I guess that
- 39:52Speaker 1: is a vice food. Yeah, I'm a fat fuck Yeah
- 39:55Speaker 1: that's fair. I mean, at least you didn't say like
- 39:58Speaker 1: some kind of weird ass like gory on porn hub
- 40:01Speaker 1: I have. Come on, man, I don't know, Man, come
- 40:04Speaker 1: on you When you said I got a weird one,
- 40:06Speaker 1: I was like, oh shit, this might get crazy. How
- 40:11Speaker 1: many records would you say you have for your album?
- 40:15Speaker 1: And is that is this something that we're gonna get
- 40:17Speaker 1: next year or towards the end of this year? Nah,
- 40:19Speaker 1: It's definitely gonna be next year. I really wanted to
- 40:23Speaker 1: put out six Tape two before this year ended, but
- 40:27Speaker 1: definitely want to put out the Deluxe before that. So, so,
- 40:31Speaker 1: is this six Tape two you think that's something that's
- 40:33Speaker 1: even like possible before the end of the year. Yeah.
- 40:36Speaker 1: But the only thing for that is like I can't
- 40:39Speaker 1: really speak on it entirely because you know, I'm only
- 40:41Speaker 1: one half of it, of course, But yeah, if it
- 40:43Speaker 1: was up to me, matter of fact, we gonna make
- 40:46Speaker 1: it happen. And there you go. You just spoke on both.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Who's another artist that you would love to do like
- 40:52Speaker 1: or like just a full collab project with that you
- 40:55Speaker 1: have great chemistry with. I wouldn't even want to do
- 41:02Speaker 1: a collab tape with anybody else, honestly, that's fire. Yeah,
- 41:06Speaker 1: nobody else, huh Adele the Adele Tape. I wouldn't even
- 41:11Speaker 1: want to do it with a It'll be called like
- 41:13Speaker 1: twenty nine or something. I just need like one or
- 41:16Speaker 1: two of a just one feature, just one feature, just
- 41:19Speaker 1: to give me up out of there one time. Yeah,
- 41:23Speaker 1: that'd be Yeah, that'd be pretty crazy. What about ghost writing?
- 41:27Speaker 1: Is that something that you writing for other artists? Is
- 41:30Speaker 1: that something that people are starting to try to get
- 41:31Speaker 1: out you more to do? Or Yeah? I mean I'm
- 41:33Speaker 1: I've definitely been in a couple riding camps. I actually
- 41:36Speaker 1: wrote a song on a new Scooby Doo movie, but uh,
- 41:39Speaker 1: the one that just came out. Yeah, okay, yeah, I
- 41:42Speaker 1: watched it co Roll one with Jack Harlowe. Shout out Dvo,
- 41:46Speaker 1: Dave Shout out to dave O. Davo is fucking just
- 41:51Speaker 1: salute bro, he's a good dude and he's running. He's
- 41:54Speaker 1: killing shit right now. He throws me so many Ali Oops,
- 41:57Speaker 1: it's crazy Davo solid. So. But but are you like
- 42:01Speaker 1: starting to Is that like even something you're like interested
- 42:03Speaker 1: in doing. Yeah, I definitely like writing for other artists. Yeah, yeah,
- 42:08Speaker 1: I feel like that. That's just the whole other side
- 42:10Speaker 1: of the hustle, like yo, your bag on the publishing
- 42:12Speaker 1: so I could be bigger than anything else. Nah, it's
- 42:14Speaker 1: definitely fire to hear your lyrics no matter what the
- 42:19Speaker 1: channel is. What kind of fucking movies were you watching
- 42:23Speaker 1: growing up? Like, what's your favorite movie of all time?
- 42:27Speaker 1: That's a good question. I'd probably say Hangover. That's number one,
- 42:35Speaker 1: just just for the simple fact the first time I
- 42:37Speaker 1: watched it, it was like the funniest movie. Oh for sure.
- 42:40Speaker 1: First time you watch Hangover, Yeah, that's like it was
- 42:43Speaker 1: a different type of comedy now the first yeah it was.
- 42:45Speaker 1: It was there was like a lot of shit going
- 42:48Speaker 1: on in that movie. Yeah, it was never it was
- 42:51Speaker 1: never a dead moment. Hangover is the other movie that
- 42:56Speaker 1: was like that for me was Old School? Nah, that
- 43:00Speaker 1: one wasn't like that. No, it was funny, but it
- 43:04Speaker 1: wasn't old school, bro, it's fool. The movie starts with
- 43:07Speaker 1: him walking on his wife getting gang bang. Bro, it's
- 43:11Speaker 1: fucking crazy, fucking Frank the Tank. And then Friday. When
- 43:15Speaker 1: I was a little kid and I first watched Friday,
- 43:17Speaker 1: I remember vividly and I was trying. I thought I
- 43:20Speaker 1: was Chris Tucker and for like seven years as a child. Yeah,
- 43:23Speaker 1: that's a classic. Yeah yeah. Anyway, Well, look, the EP
- 43:28Speaker 1: is out. It's called No Love Lost, and I think
- 43:35Speaker 1: the deluxe right around the corner. The deluxe is it
- 43:40Speaker 1: gonna be like a whole other album, because that's what
- 43:42Speaker 1: people are doing now. I'm so confused by the deluxe thing.
- 43:45Speaker 1: I know it's like a way to like stretch your
- 43:46Speaker 1: album's selves, but like the Baby dropped ten songs on
- 43:49Speaker 1: his like ten new songs, I'm like, bro, that's a
- 43:51Speaker 1: fucking album, right, Nah. I mean I don't plan to
- 43:55Speaker 1: drop like ten songs because at the end of the day,
- 43:57Speaker 1: it's still an EP, so it's kind of unconventional I'm
- 44:00Speaker 1: doing already because not like like a deluxe to a
- 44:03Speaker 1: EP don't even really make sense. Technically. It will be
- 44:05Speaker 1: an album then, right, But yeah, I'm just gonna add
- 44:09Speaker 1: about like four to five songs, and they probably remix
- 44:12Speaker 1: a couple of them. So your only vice, I've just
- 44:15Speaker 1: I just I want to know that you're like a
- 44:17Speaker 1: bad person too. Nah, I'm the coolest person ever. I
- 44:22Speaker 1: can't do it. Man, you give me some do you
- 44:24Speaker 1: get like ever gamble or anything. I just feel like
- 44:27Speaker 1: you're the nicest, sweetest guy I've met in this chair
- 44:29Speaker 1: in a long time. We just had a baby here
- 44:31Speaker 1: and it was interesting. He was falling asleep. Cool, respectable,
- 44:37Speaker 1: stand on integrity. I don't do too much out the
- 44:41Speaker 1: out the norm. I mean, I mean, obviously do you
- 44:43Speaker 1: have your music speak for yourself? But yeah, that's crazy.
- 44:46Speaker 1: What about it like a not even like a strip club.
- 44:49Speaker 1: I mean I indulge in you know, strip clubs, of course,
- 44:53Speaker 1: but it's not like I gotta go to the strip club?
- 44:56Speaker 1: Right Well, hey, you have you subscribed it the only
- 45:00Speaker 1: fans accounts? Hell no, none, have you thought about it?
- 45:07Speaker 1: Because you know you'll be on Instagram and then you'll
- 45:10Speaker 1: be like, oh shit, who is this and then you'd
- 45:12Speaker 1: be like, oh shit, I could just pay four ninety
- 45:15Speaker 1: nine and just see her naked. Right now, what's the
- 45:18Speaker 1: point of doing that? No, no no, no, I haven't done
- 45:20Speaker 1: it either. I'm just saying like I'm not. I'll try
- 45:23Speaker 1: to clean it up now. No I haven't. I ain't
- 45:26Speaker 1: give no bitches my money. I'm married. No, But like
- 45:28Speaker 1: you know, I'm just curious, like, you know, have you
- 45:30Speaker 1: thought about it? Because I mean I've obviously thought about it.
- 45:33Speaker 1: I'm like, wait, this bitch got a only fans. What's
- 45:36Speaker 1: the girl's name? Uh hmmm, Rosa Acosta has the only
- 45:42Speaker 1: fans the mariage after, I was like, should I give
- 45:47Speaker 1: my money to Rosa Acosta? Now it'll come up on
- 45:50Speaker 1: the credit card statement and my wife will be like,
- 45:51Speaker 1: you would you thirteen ninety nine on only fans? What
- 45:54Speaker 1: the fuck is wrong with you? I couldn't do. You
- 45:56Speaker 1: can't write that off on your taxes man, So you're
- 45:58Speaker 1: not spending money that you can't write off media research.
- 46:02Speaker 1: A media research might have to subscribe. And I was playing,
- 46:07Speaker 1: and you spend some money on them fucking shoes though
- 46:08Speaker 1: there's Alexander mcqueens. Them things, those things are not on
- 46:14Speaker 1: only fans, but he's got them on the mcqueens. Anyway,
- 46:17Speaker 1: go get the EP man. Hopefully you say by October
- 46:19Speaker 1: we'll get the end of October, we'll get the EP
- 46:22Speaker 1: or the deluxe, and then next year the album and
- 46:26Speaker 1: before twenty twenty one six tape two. Yeah, okay, that's
- 46:32Speaker 1: the timeline. That's gotta be the Okay, Yeah, there it is,
- 46:36Speaker 1: and Russ will be on the deluxe. He's killing me
- 46:38Speaker 1: over here. I gave him all the gyms. There it is,
- 46:43Speaker 1: Man Blast
