NOTTINGHAM FOREST HIT WITH £750,000 FINE FOR EVERTON TWEET | CLUB IMMEDIATELY RESPONDS
Nottingham Forest have been fined £750,000 for their tweet after defeat to Everton at the end of the 2023/24 Premier League season. Forest lost the game 2-0 but were furious after three penalty appeals were rejected by referee Anthony Taylor and VAR Stuart Attwell, now famously tweeting 'Three extremely poor decisions - three penalties not given - which we simply cannot accept. We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times. NFFC will now consider its options.'
