- 0:05Good morning. This is the program with Ted Raul
- 0:08and Jamaral Thomas for Tuesday, September 1st,
- 0:112026. Hope you're having a nice day so far. Hope
- 0:15the rest of your day is great. Thanks so much
- 0:17for joining us. We're here Monday through Friday,
- 0:199 a .m. to 10 a .m. Eastern time. We will be
- 0:23back here again tomorrow at the same exact time.
- 0:25We also do Q &A shows. 12 noon, Monday, Wednesday,
- 0:29and Friday. Yesterday's was pretty cool. You
- 0:31might want to check that out. It's on the re
- 0:34-upload on YouTube and Rumble. As always, we
- 0:37appreciate your support. And thank you so much
- 0:40for those birthday donations yesterday for Jamaral.
- 0:43Much appreciated. And Jamaral, happy birthday.
- 0:4849 plus one day. And so. Anyway, we have a lot
- 0:54of stuff to talk about today. Some of it kind
- 0:57of disturbing. But anyway, basically, there's
- 1:01this attack on an NBC news crew, not the first
- 1:04attack by Israeli Jewish settler terrorists in
- 1:07the West Bank, where they almost beat an elderly
- 1:11Palestinian woman to death right in front of
- 1:13the NBC crew. I have thoughts about this. I know
- 1:16you do, too. A woman who created a Google map
- 1:21that's interactive that shows which companies
- 1:23are making money from ICE basically has been
- 1:27marked by the US government, by the Trump administration,
- 1:30as a possible domestic terrorist. Supreme Court
- 1:33rules on the ballroom. That has far bigger implications
- 1:36than just a ballroom. And finally, the postal
- 1:40service, a whistleblower from the postal service
- 1:44says is being used in order to intentionally
- 1:46derail the midterm elections coming up in early
- 1:49November. So a lot to talk about. If you have
- 1:53comments, please put them in the live chat on
- 1:56YouTube or Rumble. Producer Robbie will go ahead
- 1:58and put those up. And if you have any questions
- 2:02that you really want to prioritize, that you
- 2:04really want us to pay attention to, we always
- 2:06appreciate these YouTube super chats and the
- 2:09rumble rounds. OK, housekeeping done. JT, where
- 2:12do you want to start? There's one more story
- 2:15I want to add to that. Van Jones. Let's do it.
- 2:17I don't know if you saw Van Jones giving up.
- 2:20I don't know what he was giving. I don't even
- 2:22know who Van Jones was talking to. He was talking
- 2:24about El Said. and made the point of saying,
- 2:28I work with El Saeed at CNN, these people are
- 2:30dangerous, basically talking about like DSA and
- 2:32these type of groups, and specifically Van Jones.
- 2:36And he made the point of saying - Wait, he claimed
- 2:37that he worked with them? At CNN. Oh, okay. Basically
- 2:41like when Van Jones would come on for doing interviews
- 2:43and do spots and those type of things, that he's
- 2:45basically saying, I know these people from my
- 2:47time at CNN, they are dangerous. Okay. And he
- 2:52goes in to make the argument, and I could play
- 2:54the clip in fact let me see do I have a thing
- 2:56below me okay I don't have it on my end where
- 2:58I can do it um if the stream yard we can do it
- 3:01if he sent me the link I can do it okay I can
- 3:03see the link let me see the link and then just
- 3:05keep keep doing it basically it makes the argument
- 3:08he says I work with these people they're dangerous
- 3:12and then he says it's a defensible position maybe
- 3:18um for Democrats to say that Israel and the weapons
- 3:24that Israel gets should be tethered to be tethered
- 3:30to their behavior. And what's wild about that
- 3:33is - It's dangerous to say otherwise. Well, he's
- 3:36arguing that he thinks it's a defensible position.
- 3:38He's not clear. He doesn't really know. But I
- 3:41think it's a defensible position to say that
- 3:43Israel should be, their weapons that they should
- 3:45get should be tethered to their behavior. And
- 3:50even if you stop there, you think to yourself,
- 3:52It's like they are committing a genocide. What
- 3:56is wrong with you? By the way, the Democratic
- 4:00leadership follows suit with this because if
- 4:04you saw the people who they are deciding to put
- 4:07into positions of authority in regards to issues
- 4:09of the Middle East are all rabbit Zionists. Meaning
- 4:13we don't care what the overwhelming majority
- 4:16of the people who are in the Democratic Party
- 4:17think. Van Jones is only articulating what the
- 4:21Democratic Party echelon believes. So when he's
- 4:24arguing, well, I suppose it's a defensible position
- 4:28to tie Israel's behavior to the weapons that
- 4:33they get. I suppose so. Really? You suppose so?
- 4:39And what's wild about it, and I always argue,
- 4:42this is the Democratic leadership's position.
- 4:45They don't know whether giving weapons to Israel
- 4:48and tethering it. Um, to the money that they
- 4:50get is unsure. It's like they're committing a
- 4:55genocide, fool. Let me know whenever you're ready
- 4:58for me to play this link that you shared. Oh,
- 5:00if you want to do it, go ahead. I had it ready
- 5:02to go to, but you're going to do a better job
- 5:04than me. Go ahead, Robbie. Was it CNN? I know
- 5:13Abdul, um, his positions. on Israel and foreign
- 5:19policy are insane. They're not reasonable reactions
- 5:23to anything. Look, some Democrats are gonna say
- 5:26that we should condition military aid, that Israel's
- 5:32gone too far in Gaza and the West Bank and in
- 5:35Lebanon. We're gonna put some conditions on.
- 5:39I think that's a defensible position if you're
- 5:41a Democrat. That's not Abdul's position. Um,
- 5:46there are people who say, he doesn't know. Like
- 5:51meaning some Democrats who I think is like on
- 5:54the weaker side of this, who say we should, the
- 5:57weapons we give them should be conditional. And
- 5:59he's like, I suppose that's a defensible position.
- 6:01So that means his position is to the right of
- 6:04that definition of what he's saying. And the
- 6:07democratic leadership considering who they're
- 6:09putting into positions of authority, if they
- 6:11win the house and Senate, they're in line with
- 6:14him. Can we hear the rest clear right and he's
- 6:18basically saying Hakeem El Zayed's position.
- 6:21It's just completely untenable Let's hear a little
- 6:25more We shouldn't be paying for any of the military
- 6:32you know, we shouldn't we shouldn't be in giving
- 6:34military a now I think that's understandable,
- 6:39but I think indefensible because It's not charity.
- 6:42We're building a strong defense sector here and
- 6:45Israel is protecting a lot of Western interests
- 6:48in that region. But I can get why you would say
- 6:51no more aid. They got to pay their own way. That's
- 6:54not Abdul's position. Abdul's position is a total
- 6:59and complete arms embargo against the state of
- 7:02Israel, including dissent of weapons. That's
- 7:06an insane position. If Israel wants to pay...
- 7:11That's his point. It is indefensible to say you
- 7:14shouldn't give them weapons or anything. How
- 7:17is that indefensible? I would argue that's the
- 7:19mainstay of most of the public when they're watching
- 7:21a country murder women and children en masse.
- 7:27Like, I would argue his position is indefensible.
- 7:31The reason why Kamala Harris lost the race is
- 7:34part and parcel to this very specific position
- 7:36that the Democratic Party expels and maintain
- 7:39as they defend it and support it, a genocide.
- 7:42That's outrageous. That is the democratic part,
- 7:46from my point of view. I hear this, and I wonder,
- 7:52maybe I haven't had enough coffee this morning,
- 7:54or maybe my coffee this morning is a little weaker
- 7:56than usual. But to me, the difference between
- 8:00defensive and offensive weapons is a distinction
- 8:02without much of a difference. Basically, when
- 8:07we say, well, I mean, implicit in his making
- 8:12that distinction is his acknowledgement that
- 8:15Israel does use offensive weapons in order to
- 8:20start battles, wars against its neighbors. Right.
- 8:24Yes. So the base. Oh, well, OK, we won't let
- 8:27Israel engage in these offensive attacks against,
- 8:30let's say, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, et cetera, and
- 8:33the occupied territories. I mean, that's I'm
- 8:36forced to imply that because he's not very clear.
- 8:41And OK, so why would you then say, OK, we'll
- 8:45let you have defensive? I mean, it's like, look.
- 8:49when a country is behaving in a totally toxic,
- 8:55totally genocidal way, and by the way, not protecting
- 8:58any American interests, endangering American
- 9:01interests, particularly where American interests
- 9:04matter the most in the United States as they
- 9:07relate to Americans, but also in the Middle East.
- 9:09I mean, you can ask the UAE and Jordan and Qatar
- 9:13right now how safe they feel under Israel's umbrella.
- 9:17Okay, I bet not very safe, right? I bet right
- 9:20now they kind of wish they didn't know is real.
- 9:22Okay, so It's like I mean, there's so many presuppositions,
- 9:27you know, it's kind of like well like ian esco's
- 9:30rhinoceros is currently getting a uh, a um, you
- 9:34know a revival in uh in in in massachusetts and
- 9:38it's probably go around the country people have
- 9:40forgotten about it and one of the great like,
- 9:42you know ian esco was an absurdist and he would
- 9:45say like well a cat has four paws. A dog has
- 9:49four paws. Therefore, a cat is a dog. And this
- 9:53is the kind of like, you know, logic that's like,
- 9:57well, we're, Israel protects, you know, is keeping
- 10:01the Middle East safe. Okay, therefore, but it's
- 10:03like, there is no therefore, because that's not
- 10:05true. It's like, it's actually the most destabilizing
- 10:08force in the Middle East by far. It's not that's
- 10:11that destabilizing force is not Iran, not even
- 10:15close. You know, Iran, has had some destabilizing
- 10:18influences, but it doesn't come it's, I mean,
- 10:21it's just so like, it's maddening. It's sort
- 10:23of like, well, if we pay you, let's just say
- 10:25there's really such a big difference between
- 10:27defensive and offensive weapons, which is really
- 10:28not true. Such thing. If I pay for your defensive,
- 10:32quote unquote, defense, well, that frees you
- 10:35that frees your defense budget to spend money
- 10:37on offensive weapons, doesn't it? So it's still
- 10:41helping you. It's like if You know, Robbie, if
- 10:43I'm like, oh, Robbie, my friend Robbie, I love
- 10:45him. I don't like the fact that he's a fucking
- 10:48junkie and spends money on heroin instead of
- 10:50buying food for his family. But Robbie asked
- 10:52me for money. But Robbie, don't spend this money
- 10:56I'm sending you for crack. Don't buy smack with
- 11:01this. Just buy food. And he's like. I will, Ted.
- 11:06But that frees him to spend other money that
- 11:08he would have, you know, on crack. So, I mean,
- 11:11it's money spongable. It just sort of makes no
- 11:14sense at all. And I know the American people
- 11:16aren't that sharp, but are we really… I think
- 11:19we're no longer retarded when it comes to Israel,
- 11:22and the numbers show that. Well, the crazy thing
- 11:25is… Go ahead, JT. No, no. Go ahead, Robbie. I'm
- 11:28sorry. Well, first of all, Ted, you hit the nail
- 11:31on the head. There's no such thing as a defensive
- 11:32weapon. I own multiple weapons. The purpose of
- 11:39them is to protect my home. That said, they're
- 11:43perfectly capable of being used in an offensive
- 11:45capability. I mean, the mitigating factor are
- 11:49these hands right here. This is it. And the mitigating
- 11:54factor is what's going on here, right? It's all
- 11:57in your mind. Yeah, I have agency. I'm able to
- 12:00choose how I'm going to do this thing. The worst
- 12:02thing about it is that Van Jones, and I assume
- 12:05that the corporate Democrats as a whole, they're
- 12:09not talking about anything that actually got
- 12:11them elected or that people want. They're not
- 12:14talking about homelessness. They're not talking
- 12:16about jobs or wages. They're not talking about
- 12:18healthcare. They're not talking about education.
- 12:20They're talking about Israel. We should consider
- 12:26even giving them a leash at all or just throwing
- 12:29it in the trash while we pay for the rabid dog.
- 12:32Listen, I am a fundamentalist Christian and I
- 12:35would vote for Said over what Van Jones just
- 12:39said. Said's position is contrary to Van Jones
- 12:43in the general space of US dialogue, extremely
- 12:48mainstream. Most Americans are where Said is.
- 12:51Most Americans are not where Van Jones is. And
- 12:55you know what drives me crazy? I imagine you
- 12:57feel a little bit like this too, Jamarro. Van
- 13:00Jones kind of characterized himself as a progressive
- 13:03when he started out and, you know, kind of like
- 13:06aligned himself as sort of like a Bernie type
- 13:08person. And so to see this sell out, it's like
- 13:11it's not quite, you know, a Rachel Maddowian
- 13:14proportions, but it's close. He's a corporate
- 13:17Democrat. And this is what they think. This is
- 13:19what they believe. I mean, the notion of saying,
- 13:23and look, I agree with you. I do think there
- 13:24are defensive weapons like PAC -3 or like a Patriot
- 13:28air defense THAAD, et cetera, et cetera. But
- 13:32that's kind of irrelevant, right? The idea that
- 13:37we would give Hitler defensive weapons as he
- 13:40goes and pursues the murder of Jews, putting
- 13:43Jews in ovens and our response and strongest
- 13:45responses. Well, we shouldn't give them offensive
- 13:48weapons. Only defensive weapons. Only defensive
- 13:51weapons as he puts Jews in Evans. That's what
- 13:53we should give him. Which, by the way, I'm glad
- 13:55you made this analogy because that makes me think,
- 13:58well, what needed to happen to Nazi Germany?
- 14:00What did happen? They were destroyed by the Soviet
- 14:04Union. Thank God, right? And I mean, that's what
- 14:08needs to happen to Israel. They need to be destroyed
- 14:11by their neighbors as a nation state. I don't
- 14:14want to see the people die, but that nation state
- 14:16needs to go. And like, so, you know, I mean,
- 14:21you know, let's just say, you know, somehow the
- 14:24Lebanese army were to become inexplicably militarily
- 14:28powerful. If they can march into Tel Aviv, awesome.
- 14:32God bless. God's word. God's word. Van Jones
- 14:37is also showing his imperialist colors in this,
- 14:40right? Well, our colony in that region, that
- 14:44is the irritant in that region, by the way. needs
- 14:47to be defended because it helps and advances
- 14:50American objectives. Okay, well, thank you for
- 14:53being honest, right? Thank you for your honesty.
- 14:57I appreciate that. You now give me more of a
- 14:59reason to hate your party that much more. And
- 15:02before we talk about El Said, to add a wrinkle
- 15:05into all of this conversation, this is Detroit
- 15:08News. They said, in a private event today in
- 15:11Detroit, suburb, Abdul El -Sayed pleaded with
- 15:15Jews to forgive him, quote, I am asking for forgiveness
- 15:18and a moment of grace, unquote. El -Sayed said
- 15:22in Birmingham to the Michigan Democratic Jewish
- 15:25Caucus, somewhere, I think this is called Simcha,
- 15:30quote, I made a mistake, unquote. What mistake?
- 15:37I mean, we all make mistakes. I don't know. I
- 15:40mean, look, obviously he was told, you know,
- 15:43you've got to go and suck up near a tendon went
- 15:46and told him you got to do this. And so he's
- 15:48doing it. Right. It sucks. And by the way, I
- 15:52would say when you're apologizing, you're playing
- 15:55defense and when you're playing defense, you
- 15:57are losing. So, you know, I mean, These days
- 16:02I have controversies about my cartoons almost
- 16:04every week. Right now I've got one going on.
- 16:06And I had someone say, aren't you going to apologize
- 16:09for the fact that some people are taking your
- 16:11cartoon in this way that they see it as hurtful?
- 16:14And I'm like, I can't apologize for what is true.
- 16:20And it's like, I'm not going to apologize for
- 16:22what is true. But even bigger than that, even
- 16:25if you are wrong, you probably shouldn't apologize.
- 16:28You shouldn't apologize for anything. Donald
- 16:30Trump has proven that, right? Yeah, and he didn't
- 16:34do anything. Right here, quote, I pull up the
- 16:37article Detroit News. I'm asking for forgiveness
- 16:39in a moment of grace. Elsa Yid said at the Jewish
- 16:42caucus gathering in Birmingham, quote, I made
- 16:44a mistake. Reporters weren't allowed into the
- 16:47Jewish caucus. But lsaid's campaign released
- 16:50a recording of the remarks which showed the progressive
- 16:52democrat was attempting to reach out the jewish
- 16:54members of his party quote I am here because
- 16:56I may be your next senator lsaid also said at
- 16:59the event and i care a lot more about serving
- 17:02well than simply winning Motherfucker Yeah, I
- 17:12mean it's like this that's the thing right that's
- 17:14why progressives shouldn't play with democrats
- 17:18Um, you know, I mean because this is what they
- 17:20are. I mean and let's not forget say he's never
- 17:23joined the dsa. Um, you know he Which is the
- 17:26dsa is basically a hubert humphrey liberal, right?
- 17:30I mean, they're not like, you know, it's not
- 17:32they're not radicals sadly. No, um, but you know,
- 17:36I mean Yeah, you just basically you can look
- 17:40you can try to take over the democratic party
- 17:42as a hostile takeover if that's your approach
- 17:44but Don't forget, 99 % of the time, it's like
- 17:48the Manchus invading China. You end up getting
- 17:52eaten alive. They end up using you. You are the
- 17:56insurgent from the Bronx, the cute bartender,
- 17:59and then you end up, you know, licking Nancy
- 18:01Pelosi's vag. I mean, that's what happens. And,
- 18:04you know, you sell out. That'd be interesting
- 18:10to watch. Yeah, that's porn I would buy. I would
- 18:14pay for that. The Saeed thing, that's weak. Mamdani
- 18:20never apologized for anything he said. No. He's
- 18:25a better politician than Saeed. I mean, it's
- 18:29a mistake. Mamdani's smooth. And it's pathetic.
- 18:33After the debate, you and me had JT where it
- 18:35got really, it got bare knuckles between you
- 18:38and me about homosexuality. I got a bunch of
- 18:41emails saying, Robbie, I demand you apologize.
- 18:44What? You didn't say anything else? Sinner! Sinner!
- 18:47To which case, I say no. Seriously, why would
- 18:50I ever apologize for something that I believe?
- 18:53And if I believe that Israel is an apartheid
- 18:58state, it is a wart on the right butt cheek of
- 19:01the world, and it should be removed. Well, there
- 19:03you are hanging out with radicals like Jimmy
- 19:05Carter. Well, I don't even know what that means.
- 19:09But seriously, I mean, Jimmy Carter just find
- 19:12it as an apart. What were you without ever expecting
- 19:14want to ever apologize for what they believe?
- 19:17Yeah. Why should you apologize for it? It never
- 19:20occurred to me ever that you should apologize.
- 19:22Damn sure wasn't going to apologize. You didn't
- 19:24say anything wrong. And I'm saying else. I said
- 19:26nothing wrong. In fact, I would wager part of
- 19:29the reason that he won that race was because
- 19:31of his positions and true. You're trying to get
- 19:34all of Michigan. Fair enough. Look, by all means,
- 19:38campaign to Jewish voters. Jewish voters are
- 19:41obviously a part of, you know, they're Michigan,
- 19:43they're Michiganders too, and you should get
- 19:46their votes if you can, but don't sell yourself
- 19:49out. in order to get their votes or any other
- 19:52votes, right? I mean, it's like, unless you really
- 19:54think you did something wrong, which you know
- 19:56he doesn't think, you know, and by the way, that's
- 19:58the other thing too. This shit won't work. You
- 20:01know, if you're like a hardcore Zionist voter
- 20:03in Michigan, you think that's gonna buy you,
- 20:06you're gonna be like, I know what this Arab thinks,
- 20:09like fuck that guy. I mean, Jewish voters aren't
- 20:12stupid. So they're gonna allow the Democrats
- 20:14to say, see, he did something wrong. Meaning
- 20:19when what's his name when you apologize? Yeah,
- 20:21that's an admission that you did something wrong
- 20:23by definition Which is more important to the
- 20:27reason that you shouldn't do it when Van Jones
- 20:29comes on his the fit His position is indefensible
- 20:31and then you hear this fool. I'll be apologizing.
- 20:34Okay Well, it makes it look as if what Van Jones
- 20:36is saying is on some level true when what Van
- 20:39Jones is articulating is trash You shouldn't
- 20:42do it. It's weak You can make your pitch to the
- 20:45Jewish voters without apologizing The Jewish
- 20:48started out well, I mean say what he said, you
- 20:52know, like look I'm going to be You know, I might
- 20:55be your US Senate. I might be your next US senator
- 20:58I'm gonna you know, I care he has said on other
- 21:01occasions. I care deeply about my Jewish brothers
- 21:03and sisters I would protect them like my own
- 21:06family Leg it on a little thick like my own family,
- 21:09but okay fine, but like Fine fine. That's all
- 21:13good, you know, like, you know, and I'm deeply
- 21:16concerned about anti -semitism, which frankly
- 21:18everyone should be And and that's and that's
- 21:21good too. Just leave it. Okay, like whenever
- 21:24I mean, this is this all rings of inauthenticity
- 21:27and weakness. It's the two things you never want
- 21:30as a politician. If my brothers or sisters were
- 21:33involved with hunting down and killing innocent
- 21:35people, I would not protect them. I would condemn
- 21:37them and do everything I could possibly do to
- 21:39get them arrested and sent to prison for the
- 21:41rest of their lives. Well, you're talking about
- 21:43that's Israel. Right now, I'm talking about Jewish
- 21:45Michigan voters. No, no, I get that. But you
- 21:48got to remember how they play this thing. They
- 21:50always try to conflate Israel with Jews. Refuse
- 21:54to play. That is what they do. And so that's
- 21:57how I would do, you know, stop trying to qualify
- 22:00yourself. Do you think that is Israel a Jewish
- 22:03state? Yes or no? Yes. Okay. Just check that
- 22:05box. That's your, that's your definition, not
- 22:08mine. Is Israel committing a genocide? Yes. Are
- 22:11we paying for it? Yes. Do you, does the Israeli
- 22:15lobby control our political class? Uh, let's
- 22:17go check that box again. Yes, it does. So don't,
- 22:21so don't lawyer me. Well, it's not all Jews.
- 22:24Well, if it ain't you. I ain't apologizing. They've
- 22:27got nothing to worry about. I'm talking about
- 22:29the other people wearing the little tiny hats
- 22:31who think that they are God -chosen people who
- 22:33are committing a genocide using my dime to do
- 22:35it. If that offends you, seriously, go to hell.
- 22:38Well, don't forget also, there's all of your
- 22:40buddies on the Christian right who are pro -Israel,
- 22:44too. They're the biggest… No hats. Those people
- 22:48need to lose. They are the biggest… This is not
- 22:50about negotiations, right? They need to lose.
- 22:53They are committing mass murder. They need to
- 22:55lose. And the idea that you find, it's like,
- 22:58I need to somehow lower myself to these killers.
- 23:03Nonsense. The people who pay attention to him
- 23:07and get him, as you point out, Ted, apologizing.
- 23:11It's not going to turn to Zionist to say, well,
- 23:12he apologized. No, nonsense. You shouldn't apologize.
- 23:18And by the way, People who are looking at the
- 23:21Democratic Party as weak, as flaccid, as impotent,
- 23:26that they can't necessarily hold on to a particular
- 23:28theme and a particular narrative, those people
- 23:31are right. This is new AOC. This is just AOC.
- 23:35I mean, he folded even before he got into office.
- 23:39He folded. He opened his ass cheeks wide immediately
- 23:43before he even got into office. He is getting
- 23:46bad, bad data. Well, in keeping with the theme
- 23:52tomorrow, I have to apologize, because as much
- 23:54as I'm enjoying our discussion, we have four
- 23:56other topics that we need to talk to. Plus, we
- 24:00haven't done a single comment, and we have 32
- 24:02minutes left in the show. Alright, so, settler
- 24:06attacks, ICE website, ballroom, or postal service?
- 24:12What's the Supreme Court ruling on the ballroom?
- 24:15Okay, so the Supreme Court decided to vote five
- 24:19to four. Justice Roberts wrote the dissent. He
- 24:23doesn't usually do that. Basically, this is the
- 24:27final word. The president may continue to, he
- 24:30can continue construction and work on the ballroom
- 24:33and finish it without any discussion whatsoever
- 24:37about the legality of the of whether because
- 24:43basically these were using funds appropriated
- 24:46from remember he told us that this was all agreed
- 24:48private funds but it's not true these are taxpayer
- 24:50funds right so under the constitution The power
- 24:54of the purse lies with Congress. Congress never
- 24:56approved any of these funds. So billions of dollars
- 24:59are being spent on this. The Trump administration
- 25:02asked the court to let them continue. The court
- 25:05basically, Justice Roberts wrote in his dissent
- 25:08that the court would almost certainly find that
- 25:11this was unconstitutional because it violated
- 25:14the, they didn't get approval from Congress for
- 25:17the funding. So. In this kind of Weasley way
- 25:22that basically lets the administration have its
- 25:24way de facto, while pretending to continue to
- 25:29adhere to the separation of powers, the court
- 25:31said that the plaintiffs here did not have standing.
- 25:35This was the National Historic Preservation Trust,
- 25:38and they relied primarily on the expert opinion
- 25:41of one of the nation's leading architectural
- 25:44experts, who specializes in government architecture.
- 25:49Now, here's the kicker. Going back to the 90s
- 25:52in a landmark opinion by Justice Scalia, the
- 25:57court had already decided that entities like
- 26:00that do have standing to sue the government,
- 26:05to sue because they say, well, if you have a
- 26:08an expert, sort of a gust institution that knows
- 26:12a lot about a topic. Let's say, for example,
- 26:15the NIH were to sue the government over some
- 26:19kind of health -related matter. They'd be like,
- 26:21well, it's the NIH. They're smart guys, and we
- 26:24have to listen to them. So even if, though, they're
- 26:26not personally hurt, they have a huge interest
- 26:30in this, and we're going to listen to what they
- 26:31have to say. Now, without comment, The court
- 26:35has reversed that ruling and just basically said,
- 26:38if you're not directly impacted and hurt by this,
- 26:42you don't have standing to sue. Now, the thing
- 26:45is, they're like, well, someone else who feels
- 26:47hurt is actually and can prove it is welcome
- 26:50to come and bring their case in front of the
- 26:53court. They can still do that. We don't know
- 26:55who that would be. And by the time it gets to
- 26:59us, the ballroom will be completed. So basically,
- 27:03de facto, you know, it's kind of like easier
- 27:05to it's easier to beg forgiveness than to get
- 27:07permission, is the Trump way. That means that
- 27:10the president can do anything. You can always
- 27:13make the argument that you don't have standing
- 27:15for this. You can say that about anything. The
- 27:18president has just done something illegal. Correct.
- 27:21I mean, multiple times, right? With the tariffs,
- 27:23those were illegal. Right. There was no consequence,
- 27:25but those were illegal. tariffs because the president
- 27:27didn't have authority to do that. That was the
- 27:29issue of Congress. And here again, the president
- 27:31does something that the president doesn't have
- 27:33standing to do, but the president does it anyway.
- 27:36And then it's like, okay, well, if that's illegal
- 27:37for the president to do that, then what's the
- 27:40consequence? Well, there is none because no one
- 27:42is standing according to the Republican Supreme
- 27:44Court. This is nonsense. This is just nullification.
- 27:48They hated when black people did this, right?
- 27:50When they were like, yeah, I mean, this black
- 27:52person responded. the court wants to put him
- 27:55in a cage for life and the jury says yeah no
- 27:59we don't want to do that obviously he did something
- 28:02illegal the jury is taking upon itself to not
- 28:05prosecute because the jury is looking at this
- 28:07as well the system itself is the problem we're
- 28:09not gonna necessarily gonna put this guy on trial
- 28:11for something that the person should be put on
- 28:12trial for oh we hate that that's bad we hate
- 28:15that what the hell is this the president is clearly
- 28:18doing something that he doesn't have the powers
- 28:20to do and the Supreme Court as opposed to following
- 28:24its own precedent and saying, well, the president
- 28:26is wrong in doing this. This is illegal by our
- 28:28own laws. The president effectively gives the
- 28:30president immutable powers. That's an amazing
- 28:35thing that just took place. Well, I mean, obviously
- 28:39this is project 2025 come to life, right? That
- 28:42was one of their things. They assumed that if
- 28:44they flooded the zone, they would be able to
- 28:46pretty much rule through executive orders. and
- 28:49ignore basic separation of powers and other issues
- 28:52and, you know, fight wars without getting caught.
- 28:56I mean, all this stuff. Right. But this is not
- 28:58even I'm sorry to interrupt. This is not even
- 28:59a flood in its own. This is a very straightforward
- 29:02case. It is a straightforward case. Any any any
- 29:06Judge Roberts, Republican, by the way. Right.
- 29:10It's like this is outrageous. Yeah, he's unhappy.
- 29:12The president knew this. This is just ignoring
- 29:17the law. Correct. And that's why Justice Roberts,
- 29:22who I think my understanding is this is only,
- 29:25he's been in for many years. I think this is
- 29:27his only third authored dissent. So he obviously
- 29:30felt strongly about it. Yeah. That's amazing.
- 29:33I'm just saying that's amazing. He joined the
- 29:35liberal justices. We just allowed the president
- 29:39to do whatever the president wants. And yeah,
- 29:41I mean, it's a it's a big fucking problem. I
- 29:43mean, it's like, I mean, I don't even know, by
- 29:45the way, how it works, like from a technical
- 29:49point of view. Like, so if the I mean, so where
- 29:53does the money come from? I mean, this money
- 29:55is real money. It's in accounts. Right. I mean,
- 29:58Congress. Congress approves money then the money
- 30:02has to be appropriated to a fund and then it
- 30:05goes to the fund and then like all the Contractors
- 30:08like Trump's buddies who are building the ballroom
- 30:10They need to you know, this isn't working for
- 30:13the Trump found the Trump corporation which may
- 30:15or may not pay you This is this is working for
- 30:19the US government which is going to pay you.
- 30:21So Where do these hundreds of millions of dollars
- 30:24actually come from? I would love a bureaucratic
- 30:27expert to tell me because they weren't appropriated
- 30:31by Congress. Let's come from the military budget.
- 30:33I mean, think about what we talked about yesterday.
- 30:36Pete Hegseth is talking about how Congress needs
- 30:39to infuse more cash because the military is running
- 30:41out of money to pay its service members. Right.
- 30:44Well, if you know how many service members is
- 30:45that you have, then you're able to do this thing
- 30:48called math. You're able to kind of budget it
- 30:50out. If the money's not there, what's somewhere?
- 30:53So where did it go? But they can snatch it from
- 30:55somewhere. Of course. I mean, like they're stealing
- 30:57money from Social Security, for example. They
- 30:59snatch money from different places. Yeah. I mean,
- 31:02seriously, that's where it came from. Can I prove
- 31:03it? Of course not. But I mean, I'm able to use
- 31:08the brains God gave me. That's where it came
- 31:10from. They're looting other accounts. And then
- 31:12they go to Congress. Oh, we have a new emergency.
- 31:15We're out of money. We can't pay the troops.
- 31:18Right. We can't not pay the troops our sainted
- 31:21beloved troops who we always treat with incredible
- 31:24respect after they leave Yeah, yeah Up into the
- 31:27point of taking on boats Jumping off with his
- 31:30asphrone shots big fucking thing. Um, okay So
- 31:33this is a good comment from douglas hobden I
- 31:36do get bored of the way you americans bleed on
- 31:39bleeding is one of my favorite words on about
- 31:41congress and its powers If you haven't realized
- 31:44by now your magical constitution is toilet paper
- 31:46and means fuck all But so does international
- 31:50law, and so does European Union laws. Like these,
- 31:54it's just, it's there up until the point it becomes
- 31:57inconvenient. Yeah, yeah. I mean, the entire
- 32:01point of making it a law, right, is a restraint.
- 32:03Don't do this. Like it's trying to restrain the
- 32:07powers of the government, because obviously it's
- 32:10an entity that has the capability of more bananas.
- 32:13I guess the point is, they've just ignored it.
- 32:16It's not the balance of powers anymore where
- 32:19you have these two forces that are Aligned at
- 32:22each other with a certain amount of Balance between
- 32:26them and the balance goes out of whack depending
- 32:27upon who wins a particular election, etc You
- 32:30have the Supreme Court does like seven members
- 32:32of it are Republicans Hardcore right and they
- 32:36are given the president grace to do whatever
- 32:38the president once. I mean, yeah, I mean, and
- 32:41look, obviously, the Constitution is out of date
- 32:44in this respect, right? Because it was when these
- 32:46English gentlemen who wrote it came up with the
- 32:49separation of powers, they lived in a time where
- 32:52the one thing you really cared about when you
- 32:54served in government was not lining your pockets
- 32:56with crypto, you cared about like power. You
- 33:00wanted to do things. You wanted to change things.
- 33:03You wanted people to remember like, oh, this
- 33:05was the Thomas Rall bill that they passed, right?
- 33:09And so that's what you were remembered for. You
- 33:12didn't want to just go to Congress and sit around
- 33:14and twiddle your thumbs and maybe grift through
- 33:18prediction markets. So the thing is, they didn't
- 33:22anticipate a time of party politics where, in
- 33:25the future, a lickspittle Congress would basically
- 33:30abdicate their powers and basically you know
- 33:33allow themselves to be scratched behind their
- 33:34ears by corporations and and by the president
- 33:37and all that and the like and bribed they just
- 33:40you know that wasn't part something like you
- 33:43if these guys who were who fought the revolution
- 33:45you've seen those charts about like how all those
- 33:48guys like lost so much of their money and they
- 33:50all ended up bankrupt i mean they weren't doing
- 33:52it for the money they were doing it for the power
- 33:55and like and you know now it's you know people
- 33:58You know, it used to be those two things went
- 34:00together. Now, really, it's just about the money.
- 34:04So, of course, separation of powers followed
- 34:06by the wayside. Could take back power. Oh, I
- 34:10mean, if Congress woke up on one and it was like,
- 34:12hey, we don't like what the president said. And
- 34:14if nobody throws their shit out the car window,
- 34:15there's no litter on the side of the highway.
- 34:17But, you know, it just but that's not going to
- 34:19happen like you would say. Yeah. Yeah. OK, so
- 34:23we should move on. So should we talk about this?
- 34:26What do you want? I'll let you have the pick
- 34:28here. What do you want to do next? Which was
- 34:30it what there were two other stories? Oh, yeah,
- 34:32so we have the ice. Well, we have the NBC attack
- 34:35by the Israeli terrorists We have okay. Let's
- 34:38do it. So NBC correspondent Matt Bradley led
- 34:41a team into the occupied West Bank. Obviously
- 34:44there's this whole spate recently of settler
- 34:47terrorists basically attacking Palestinian homes,
- 34:51driving people out of their houses. They're stepping
- 34:54it up because they smell blood in the air, and
- 34:56they know they have a very friendly government,
- 34:58even friendlier than usual in Tel Aviv, and they
- 35:00know the IDF is always there to run interference
- 35:03for them. They were interviewing this lady whose
- 35:05house, she'd been tossed out of her house by
- 35:07these assholes. Her name is Aida Ahmed Abdullah.
- 35:12Anyway, these thugs in masks with Israeli license
- 35:16plates basically drove down to where the news
- 35:20crew was interviewing her outside of her house
- 35:22and attacked them with sticks and stones. On
- 35:26camera, you can see one of these thugs swinging
- 35:30his bat. at the cameraman before the cameraman
- 35:32hits the camera hits the ground they eventually
- 35:35called the IDF eventually showed up and arrested
- 35:38the Palestinians of course because that's how
- 35:41these things go um but the NBC guys all survived
- 35:44um the the Palestinian woman was in serious condition
- 35:47and she was sent there's no word on whether she
- 35:50made it or not but she was unconscious at the
- 35:52time NBC left her behind I mean having traveled
- 35:57in, you know, war zones, Afghanistan, Pakistani
- 36:02Kashmir, a couple other places, and the West
- 36:05Bank, and Gaza in 2014. I gotta say, this is
- 36:11really outlandish fucking behavior. I mean, you
- 36:14know, when journalists get killed, it's usually
- 36:17one of several scenarios, or when they get attacked.
- 36:20It's either they're being robbed, by like random
- 36:23assholes because they have tons of money and
- 36:25they have expensive equipment. And these are
- 36:27desperately poor people and you know, blah, blah,
- 36:30blah. Or they're being viewed as basically they're,
- 36:37what's the word I'm looking for? They're like
- 36:39easy pickings, right? Like you're just like,
- 36:41you're a foreigner, you're traveling through
- 36:43a strange land. We're just gonna get you. And
- 36:46if there is a central authority of any kind,
- 36:49which there often is not, but sometimes there
- 36:51is, The central authority doesn't want that.
- 36:54They don't want the view to the outside world
- 36:57to be sent out like, holy shit, our people are
- 37:01fucking violent assholes and we can't control
- 37:03them. So they will assist usually a journalist
- 37:08in trouble. This is now happening on a routine
- 37:12basis where Western news crews are getting assaulted
- 37:16by these settlers. The IDF doesn't do shit about
- 37:20it. It goes out onto international television.
- 37:24Obviously, it's only contributing to Israel's
- 37:26already deteriorated public standing internationally.
- 37:31But it's amazing to me that the Israelis have
- 37:33their... Their head their government has their
- 37:35heads so far up their ass that they don't think
- 37:38this is a big problem I mean you have some Israeli
- 37:40officials who said these are terrorists. These
- 37:42are Jewish terrorists Okay, that's I guess remarkable
- 37:45that they say that and you have the Israeli,
- 37:47you know Mike Huckabee the US ambassador to Israel
- 37:50He called them Jewish terrorists. Okay, that's
- 37:53remarkable too because he's a big Zionist, but
- 37:55I Guess I have a bunch of questions here. First
- 37:58of all at this point if I'm If I, Ted Raul, am
- 38:02going to go report in the occupied West Bank,
- 38:06I don't know if I'm just bringing a camera. I
- 38:09think maybe I'm bringing an armed guard with
- 38:12me. And I don't think I have a big problem if
- 38:16my armed guard, or me personally, shoots the
- 38:19settler who comes at me with a bat. I think that's
- 38:23OK for me. I don't think I have to have that
- 38:25cold, upright detachment, the fake neutrality
- 38:31of the press. I think you're allowed to hit back.
- 38:33And also, why didn't these guys fight to protect
- 38:37the old woman that they were interviewing? You
- 38:42know what I mean? Matt Bradley, are you a man
- 38:46or a mouse? You're a guy you're a dude. You should
- 38:52protect an old lady right under any circumstance.
- 38:55Yeah I Guess my first thought is it's honest
- 39:03Like meaning their behavior on camera, it's just
- 39:06honest and so I appreciate that I'm too glad
- 39:10that it was on camera as opposed to it just being
- 39:13a normal Tuesday where they would have beaten
- 39:15a woman to death in general So there's that Three,
- 39:21I agree with you about bringing some kind of
- 39:24security detail in that case because you're all
- 39:27vulnerable and it's good for you to know it.
- 39:29And so for the years that the U .S. media has
- 39:32printed about, oh, this is an Israeli state and
- 39:35blah, blah, blah, and they're fighting for American
- 39:37interests and they're the only democracy in the
- 39:39Middle East. OK, well, here's your reality, right?
- 39:44This is the reality of things to which I like
- 39:46being published. where everybody can see for
- 39:48themselves. You don't have to take Jamal's word
- 39:50for it. They nearly beat an old woman to death.
- 39:53They probably would have beat her to death if
- 39:54there was no cameras on it. The restraint, any
- 39:57of the restraint was that they didn't kill her,
- 40:01assuming she's not dead. Not for lack of trying.
- 40:04Yeah, not for lack of trying. These media people
- 40:07who are going to these areas and are getting
- 40:09their heads bashed in or nearly getting their
- 40:11heads bashed in, I think it's good. It's honest.
- 40:15It's what the country is. Like, I don't want
- 40:17them to put on suits. No, I like that part. When
- 40:21media comes and then starts singing and crowing
- 40:24the moment that media leaves like a singing frog,
- 40:26meaning in this case, instead of opposed to singing,
- 40:28you have death, murder and rape and theft. I
- 40:31don't want them to pretend that that's not happening
- 40:34when the media is there. I want people to be
- 40:36able to see it for what it is. So, yes, I want
- 40:39media to continue to go. I want them to continue
- 40:41to get their heads bashed in. I want all of this
- 40:43stuff to be aired on air if it is indeed happening.
- 40:46in earnest. And by the way, the IDF coming there
- 40:48and arresting the Palestinian, that is normal.
- 40:53They would stand there and let the settler commit
- 40:56their murders in order to protect the settlers
- 40:58as they go about death, murder, mayhem, violence.
- 41:03So, yeah, I take no issue with the media being
- 41:06there watching what is taking place. I only take
- 41:08issue when they pretend that it's not what it
- 41:10actually is. It's a shocking thing, by the way,
- 41:12that media is going and reporting what it is.
- 41:15That's not normal. Balls out. Balls for them.
- 41:18Seriously, good for them. I kind of don't think
- 41:20they should scurry out so quickly though. I mean,
- 41:22it's kind of like, fuck you guys. My question,
- 41:27Ted, you keep saying this, is just like, how
- 41:30is Israel supporting this? Like Israel's paying
- 41:36a price? They're paying a price. What price are
- 41:38they paying? I agree with Robbie. That was the
- 41:40other point. They're not paying a price. They're
- 41:42not paying a price at all. This is I was like
- 41:44this is not a big problem for them. They don't
- 41:46care They're paying the same price that the apartheid
- 41:51regime of Republic of South Africa paid you know
- 41:54in the 1980s when images like this would come
- 41:58out of South Africa and people would watch and
- 42:01they'd be disgusted and eventually You know public
- 42:04support us was a huge supporter of apartheid
- 42:07South Africa and when public support basically
- 42:10got to isolated South Africa to the point where
- 42:13the regime was no longer tenable. Let's not forget,
- 42:16right? RSA, apartheid didn't go away because
- 42:17there was a revolution. There was never a revolution.
- 42:20It's like basically it just, they were pressured
- 42:23by, you know, a deteriorating economy and international
- 42:26isolation to pivot away and transition to post
- 42:31apartheid. You know, that's what they did. And
- 42:34so I think, so did apartheid state pay a price?
- 42:38Yeah, they did. And I mean, that's what's happening
- 42:40now. It's just that it's in slow motion. I mean,
- 42:42like you guys, I'd like to see this happen a
- 42:44lot more quickly. But yeah, they're paying a
- 42:46price. Every one tenth percent decline in their
- 42:49brutal rating is a price. Yeah, but they're not
- 42:53being isolated economically. China still trades
- 42:57with them. Russia still trades with them. Every
- 42:59other country, for the most part, still trades
- 43:01with them and have trading relationships with
- 43:03them. The European Union is one of their largest
- 43:05trading partners. And I will go further. Most
- 43:07of those European states agree. I don't care
- 43:11what they say. The states and the power struggle,
- 43:14those states. 100%. I'm just pointing out that
- 43:19they're not paying a price in the sense of a
- 43:21price, like meaning they're not being isolated.
- 43:23They're not being people made. say, we don't
- 43:26like Israel. And the public may say, we don't
- 43:29like Israel. The leadership and the power structures
- 43:31of all of those European states and the United
- 43:33States and Russia and China, for all of their
- 43:37strongly worded statements, continue to trade
- 43:39and do business with this settler colonial state.
- 43:42All they have to do is, they have to say, be
- 43:47a good little boy and remember the Holocaust.
- 43:49And if you don't, you are the R word, you're
- 43:53racist, you're anti -Semitic, and white people
- 43:55have been so conditioned, they just beat over
- 43:59the head, rightly or wrongly, with the racism
- 44:01stick, that that's the worst thing that you can
- 44:04call someone with my skin and complexion, especially
- 44:08after my accent, and you're going to do whatever
- 44:10it is that you can possibly do to prove that
- 44:12you're not a racist. That's number one. Number
- 44:15two, South Africa, Ted, did not have the lobby
- 44:18that Israel has. They didn't own Congress. They
- 44:20didn't have a South African version of AIPAC.
- 44:23They didn't have the Jewish committee, or I guess
- 44:25in this case, the Boer committee going through.
- 44:27You must stand with the Boers, because you know
- 44:29what the British did to the Boers in the 1890s?
- 44:32That never happened. That's what happens here.
- 44:35It's a combination of money. It's a combination
- 44:38of a punch in that white guilt card as hard as
- 44:41you possibly can repeatedly. And also it's business
- 44:45interest because China and Russia and every other
- 44:47country, they're in a business making money.
- 44:49And guess what? If you're going to make sausage,
- 44:52you got to slaughter some pigs, brother. And
- 44:54if you think they give a single crap about what
- 44:57Israel's doing, they just committed a genocide
- 45:00like shine bomb. We talked about this on TMI.
- 45:04She sent a strongly worded email. Okay, and did
- 45:09Mexico impose sanctions? Hey, many of those words
- 45:10were multi -syllabic, Robbie. Don't forget. Did
- 45:13Mexico impose sanctions or break relations with
- 45:18Israel? No. Putin, we really think that you should
- 45:22probably stop doing this. Okay, well, fine. What
- 45:25are you going to do to stop it? Nothing. Xi Jinping,
- 45:28same thing. What are you going to do to stop
- 45:29it? You have the power to turn Israel off today.
- 45:32Oh, nobody. Nothing. Israel's not paying a price.
- 45:36Well, I mean, that's objectively not true. Their
- 45:38economy is in the fucking toilet. They have international
- 45:41boycotts from all over the place. We've got two
- 45:43other important stories to cover. Who cares about
- 45:46their economy? Ted, we're financing their economy.
- 45:48We are their economy. OK. You do realize this
- 45:51is not going to go on forever, right? I mean,
- 45:54you do realize it. It's like this is like the
- 45:56end is nigh, OK? I mean, you can see it coming.
- 45:59Well, there's a God in heaven. He's going to
- 46:01judge the hell out of you. We're all going to
- 46:02live. I mean, I'm the oldest one here. I'm going
- 46:04to live long enough to fucking see it. I am.
- 46:08By the way, I don't think this is white guilt.
- 46:10I mean, it's anti -Semitism. It's not the same.
- 46:13It's white guilt in Germany. It's white guilt
- 46:15in Germany because they fucking committed to
- 46:17genocide. I'm saying, I don't think it's white
- 46:19guilt. But again, you have to define the term
- 46:23because if being anti -Zionist is equivalent
- 46:25to anti -Semitism, and that's what they're teaching
- 46:28in colleges and stuff. If you make those two
- 46:30things the same, by definition, that's why they're
- 46:33wrapping this up up. That's why they're doing
- 46:37it. I know, but all these people are white. You're
- 46:39saying it's white guilt for the white people.
- 46:41It's okay. You can say that for Germany. You
- 46:43can say that for Austria, even though Austria
- 46:44tried to pretend as if Hitler is in Austria.
- 46:47Ask Ben Shapiro if he's a white man. You know
- 46:49what he'll say? That's a complicated question.
- 46:52It's so complicated. The dude's whiter than I
- 46:54am, but that's the card that they play. You have
- 46:57to like it, but that's what they do. I'm just
- 47:00saying anti -Semitism is a little bit, okay,
- 47:02okay. I'm not gonna fight that. Let's move on,
- 47:05let's move on. All right, one more comment here
- 47:07before we move on. Kilroy for president, thanks
- 47:09for the donation. Tried to send during the Q
- 47:13&A, sing tomorrow, happy birthday. Okay. Thanks,
- 47:17man. Happy birthday to you. I didn't have to
- 47:20sing, but I do appreciate it. We all know how
- 47:24this goes. Yeah. I had a cab driver once when
- 47:27I was in Egypt, and I was like, so, you know,
- 47:30you're supposed to be praying five times a day.
- 47:31What do you do when you're in the cab? He says,
- 47:33God knows I'm hearts. And I thought to myself,
- 47:35then why do you need to pray five times? Right.
- 47:40Yeah, I remember always thinking that, too. Like,
- 47:42like if you're like, you know, why do you go
- 47:44to church? Why do you, you know, like why do
- 47:46you go to mosque? God knows my heart. It's like,
- 47:48OK, well, God knows your heart. I mean, I would
- 47:52think that's true. Right. So yeah. Yeah. All
- 47:55right. So OK, we got the postal service. We got
- 47:58the ICE thing. Let's do the postal service. So
- 48:01we talked a little bit about this postal service
- 48:04whistleblower a couple of weeks ago. So without
- 48:07getting into that, basically, this person has
- 48:11basically been debriefed by a US senator. I forgot
- 48:17his name from Connecticut. Anyway, they issued
- 48:20a report. And long story short, This report says
- 48:25that this is kind of a system that the Trump
- 48:28administration has created that is designed to
- 48:32fail. So today is the deadline by which all the
- 48:36secretaries of state under Trump's executive
- 48:38order are supposed to send the designs of their
- 48:42mail -in ballots to the U .S. government, which
- 48:46is then going to compare those and check them
- 48:49against the list of voters that they have somehow
- 48:53extracted by threatening to deny highway funds
- 48:57and all sorts of other sleazy methods. And they're
- 49:01going to compare the voter rolls. Long story
- 49:04short, according to the whistleblower, this was
- 49:08designed with what they call a zero failure option.
- 49:12So if they find a minor mistake in the QR code
- 49:16on the form, if they find One voter in a district
- 49:21who things are a little off like the wrong middle
- 49:24initial or their birth dates off by a day or
- 49:27something the entire County the entire state
- 49:33whatever the entire city the entire municipality
- 49:35all of their mail -in ballots are Automatically
- 49:39banned to be shipped by the Postal Service good
- 49:43So basically obviously that is an impossible
- 49:47standard Okay. And so the argument here is the
- 49:54intention here is to effectively make mail -in
- 49:56balloting impossible in the United States this
- 50:00coming November. I don't see at this late stage
- 50:05anything short of an emergency injunction issued
- 50:08by either a federal judge and have that not heard
- 50:11by the Supreme Court or a Supreme Court emergency
- 50:15injunction, I don't see how that can be stopped
- 50:17between now and the first Tuesday in November.
- 50:20It's just too late. I mean, I think, you know,
- 50:24basically the Trumpies are very smart at running
- 50:27out the clock, and they know the courts are a
- 50:30massive delay mechanism, and they know that,
- 50:33like, you know, this is, they have, and the thing
- 50:36is, mail -in balloting is not something, like,
- 50:38I don't know about you, I'm... old enough to
- 50:40think of mail -in balloting as something like,
- 50:42oh, that's probably 3 % of the vote. It's people
- 50:44who are on vacation or traveling on business
- 50:47or whatever, or they're at the hospital. That's
- 50:49why they cast a mail -in vote. But that's not
- 50:52the case anymore. Post -pandemic, most Americans
- 50:56vote, literally over 50 % of Americans, vote
- 50:59by mail -in ballot, because it's more convenient.
- 51:00Wow. I didn't know the number was that high.
- 51:02It's massive. In some areas, it's like 60%, 70%.
- 51:07I mean, basically, it's not like a rounding error
- 51:10at all. This is the main, this is the main event.
- 51:13This may surprise you, but good. I mean, Americans
- 51:17voted this fool in and again, they voted in everything
- 51:21in his power to steal an election. Let's put
- 51:25like, people need to sit with that. Like when
- 51:27they went after him for impeachment, Trump should
- 51:30have been in a cage for what Donald Trump was
- 51:32trying to do. He was trying to gain the political
- 51:34system either through getting members of Congress
- 51:37to basically throw it in turmoil not to mention
- 51:39getting people to put in fake electors and all
- 51:42of this other nonsense and of course even though
- 51:45this wasn't necessarily connected to Trump the
- 51:47Wolverines waiting on the outside of Virginia
- 51:49with their guns to bring on the revolution I'm
- 51:52trying to say that this could have been a perfect
- 51:54storm and We put this fool back in office Like
- 51:59the idea that he was even in contention is breathtaking.
- 52:02And yet we put this fool back in office. What
- 52:06did we expect? Like, look, I mean - Well, the
- 52:09Democrats put this fool back in office by what
- 52:12the bullshit they did with Biden and Harris.
- 52:15All of that stuff. I mean, well, but we also
- 52:18voted for him. And the Republican Party put him
- 52:21in as their stand -in. Like, meaning the Republican
- 52:24Party didn't have to put him in as a stand -in.
- 52:26He was chosen despite what he did earlier. And
- 52:29you can say, well, the Democrats also screw things
- 52:31up and put Donald Trump in office. I accept that
- 52:33argument, but I'm just making the point of saying
- 52:35the country. There's so much blame to go around,
- 52:37I guess is my point. And this is again, after
- 52:39he tried to steal the election at first. Right.
- 52:42Nobody accepts Donald Trump's claim that he lost
- 52:44the election. And yet they still put that fool
- 52:46back in office. What did you expect a narcissistic
- 52:49liar to do once he got back in office? Oh, I
- 52:52know something like this also one who's also
- 52:55one who's got a lot of fucking illegal shit to
- 52:59be Investigated and hanging over his head, right?
- 53:02Yeah. So what happens when? Entire cities and
- 53:06all of the votes that they put by mail in go
- 53:09up in smoke. I'm very curious I Might as am I
- 53:13too. Oh, by the way, uh be one more thing. We
- 53:16still have to talk about this This week. There's
- 53:19nothing I like it. Oh, I understand No, I know.
- 53:22What did you expect? I get it. Secretary of the
- 53:25Army quit, right? Dangerous school. Pissed off
- 53:29at Hegson. Good for him. Yeah. The resignation
- 53:33on based on principle, something that had been
- 53:36pretty much extinct since the 70s, is making
- 53:39a good comeback. Yep. I mean, because from my
- 53:42understanding, it's like the secretary of the
- 53:43military, the secretary, like there's several
- 53:45high profile positions that just not filled now.
- 53:48And of course, you got the leaks that came out,
- 53:51effectively saying that major people, three out
- 53:55of the five heavy top branches, just like the
- 53:59Navy, the Pacific Command, didn't believe that
- 54:02they could fight this war, win this war. I was
- 54:05basically telling him to stop. We can't keep
- 54:08up operations in Iran. And even though we disagree
- 54:12with this order, we will follow this order. They're
- 54:14leaking this stuff like a sieve. Yeah, they're
- 54:18literally like, well, you're assigning us to
- 54:20do things that we can't do. I mean, look, everybody
- 54:22who's ever had a job and an unreasonable boss
- 54:24knows what that's like, right? Yeah. So yeah,
- 54:29that'll be no. Anyway, I'm interested to see
- 54:31if any details come out on that. So this lady
- 54:34named Laura Berlin wrote, she created a Google
- 54:37Map interactive website that became viral. and
- 54:41it's used by ICE activists, anti -ICE activists,
- 54:43it's all over the country, called Who is Profiting
- 54:46from ICE? And it looks at the companies that
- 54:48are servicing the ICE gulags, the transportation
- 54:52companies that are conducting the ICE deportation
- 54:55flights and so on. Anyway, she's been flagged
- 54:58as a potential domestic terrorist in official
- 55:01missives that have gone out from DHS, even to
- 55:06local police departments, like the Philadelphia
- 55:08Police Department. continuing to disseminate
- 55:11it. I mean, this is pretty chilling stuff. I
- 55:15mean, look, I had similar things happen to me
- 55:17in 2004 in the run up to the RNC in 2004. You
- 55:22can look it up in the New York Times. Just Google
- 55:23my name and you'll find it. So it's, I mean,
- 55:28I guess the thing is she says, well, she's going
- 55:30to keep going again. I'm going to channel my
- 55:33inner Jamal here and say, where the fuck is the
- 55:36accountability for this kind of shit? You shouldn't
- 55:38be allowed to weaponize actual serious police
- 55:43concerns about national and state security against
- 55:47individuals exercising their First Amendment
- 55:49rights, but that's what's happening here. Yeah,
- 55:51it's outrageous. She is doing nothing wrong.
- 55:55Not just nothing. She's doing God's work. She's
- 55:59doing God's work. She's just using publicly available
- 56:02information. And she has the first member right
- 56:04to do so. She didn't steal any classified documents
- 56:09or anything. Yeah, she's not setting a police
- 56:11station on fire. She's losing information that
- 56:14is already in the public sphere in order to put
- 56:17more detailed information out where you can make
- 56:19a determination if you want to deal with the
- 56:21companies that are supporting these goons of
- 56:25the state. And so they don't like that. And now
- 56:29they're weaponizing laws that were meant for
- 56:32other things that she doesn't fit into to go
- 56:35after her, to put a chill on what she's doing.
- 56:37God bless her if we keep going. Yeah. No, I mean
- 56:40totally. This is insane. And there's, as you
- 56:44point out, zero accountability for maligning
- 56:46and using laws in this fashion that weren't supposed
- 56:49to be used in this particular way. She has every
- 56:50right to do this. She's doing nothing wrong.
- 56:52All of this stuff in the public sphere. She's
- 56:54not leaking my top secret statements. She's asking
- 56:57you a choice and she can't sue right like like
- 57:01like I mean I know this because like you know
- 57:03I remember like when I was when I had my LA Times
- 57:05thing every lawyer in LA told me the same thing
- 57:09like you know an amazing case against the LA
- 57:12Times it's like but if you want me to sue the
- 57:14LAPD forget it. Like you can't sue the government.
- 57:19The government agencies are totally protected.
- 57:22The laws, the procedures are all like basically
- 57:26you can't subpoena them. You can't, you know,
- 57:29you can't depose them. You can't, discovery doesn't
- 57:33work against them. They've just, they've, any
- 57:36lawyer will tell you the government, it's almost
- 57:39impossible to successfully sue a government agency.
- 57:42When you hear about the Innocence Project, like
- 57:45getting you know someone exonerated after 20
- 57:48years and finally released that's like almost
- 57:51it's like Herculean what they had to do to accomplish
- 57:54that and all they're doing is reversing one criminal
- 57:56case if you want to like hold the like if the
- 57:58government's been polluting someplace good fucking
- 58:02luck you want like Erin Brockovich she sued a
- 58:06quasi public right a public utility that was
- 58:09hard but like You know if she'd been suing let's
- 58:12just say the state of california had been dumping
- 58:14those toxins causing cancer in the groundwater
- 58:17Impossible to sue Well, then there's never accountability
- 58:23there's never accountability That's it Well that
- 58:29on that cheery note we head off to the tmi show.
- 58:32Thanks tomorrow I'll see you tomorrow at 9 a
- 58:34.m eastern time. See the rest of you tomorrow
- 58:36at 9 a .m eastern time. Take care and uh See
- 58:41you then, bye. Have a good one guys.
