  - Hello, and welcome to today's daily prayer,

  - where we're talking about walking in spiritual discernment,
• 0:59
  - which is the title of our series.

  - The scripture we're coming from today is from
• 1:06
  - Colossians one nine through 10 and says we
• 1:09
  - continually ask God to fill you with the
• 1:12
  - knowledge of his will through all wisdom and
• 1:15
  - understanding
• 1:16
  - that the spirit gives.
• 1:20
  - Now throughout this series,
• 1:22
  - we've been talking about how to
• 1:25
  - discern God's voice clearly
• 1:28
  - and some of the strategies that we can
• 1:30
  - use and as well as some of the
• 1:32
  - pitfalls.
• 1:33
  - And some of those pitfalls include doubting ourselves
• 1:36
  - or,
• 1:37
  - comparing ourselves to others
• 1:39
  - to name just a couple of the things
• 1:41
  - and
• 1:43
  - how to offset those things by knowing that
• 1:46
  - our identity
• 1:47
  - and our purpose
• 1:49
  - does not come from
• 1:51
  - social media or from others, but from God
• 1:54
  - because he knows what's best.

  - Now often the one of the greatest challenges
• 1:59
  - isn't simply hearing from God, but it's living

  - each day trusting that he will still lead,
• 2:06
  - still speak,
• 2:07
  - still work even when life feels uncertain.

  - And so
• 2:12
  - in the previous prayer, we talked about how
• 2:15
  - it's not about always
• 2:18
  - hearing and knowing,
• 2:20
  - all of what God is trying to do,
• 2:22
  - but trust that God will reveal the entire
• 2:25
  - journey
• 2:26
  - when we take
• 2:27
  - one step at a time.

  - And so

  - I hope that

  - have felt like you can discern properly

  - what God is

  - saying and doing in your life with confidence

  - when you go to the word,

  - you can apply the word.

  - You can pray the word,

  - and you can meditate

  - on the word and sit

  - quietly

  - and let him reveal

  - whatever it is that you need, whether it's

  - a decision,

  - an answer,

  - the next step,

  - a plan.

  - a regular rhythm, a regular routine,

  - clearly what it is that God is

  - wanting to reveal to you.

  - Having said that,

  - allow me to pray for you.

  - Heavenly father, thank you for walking with us
• 3:38
  - through
• 3:39
  - this entire

  - series. Continue to sharpen our spiritual discernment and

  - teach us to recognize
• 3:47
  - your voice in everyday life.

  - Help us to trust your peace above our
• 3:52
  - emotions,
• 3:54
  - your word above popular opinion,
• 3:57
  - and your wisdom
• 3:58
  - above our own understanding.

  - Let prayer become more than inspiration, father.

  - But rather, let it transform how we think,

  - choose, love, and live.

  - We choose to trust

  - that as we seek you,

  - you will faithfully lead us in every step

  - of the way, and we bless you in
