Transcript
- 0:05All right, so now we're gonna look at the different pages of your website, and we've created a Google Doc for you in your folder.
- 0:14So you can either follow along and just take page by page while I explain it here, and just follow along with it in the documents.
- 0:23Or you can just watch this whole way through and then go to your folder and fill it out.
- 0:29I will add this presentation beneath this video.
- 0:32Alright, so first we are looking at what pages do we actually need on our website, and that can vary a bit depending on your business, your strategy, and how you want it set up.
- 0:45But it's usually the home that's where you land.
- 0:48When you come to a website, that's a home page, and then it's the about page and it's.
- 0:54Usually about two.
- 0:55It can also be about the mortality that you're using, depending on your strategy again, and then we have the service or the offer or whatever you want to call it.
- 1:07You can call it what you want, but where they can read more about your offers and book in.
- 1:13And then we can have an events page if you have events.
- 1:17And then a contact page is really important.
- 1:20And then we can have other pages like.
- 1:22Blogs or podcasts or resources or, yeah, anything really before we put together your website, we create a site map, so this is really to just agree on what pages you want on your website so that we know.
- 1:41Alright, so the homepage is.
- 1:45As I said, the one that they land on.
- 1:47So that's kind of the starting point.
- 1:50And then from there we go into the other pages.
- 1:54And here for a podcast or blog, there will be individual pages.
- 1:59So there is actually a blog or podcast function in Squarespace.
- 2:04So we'll set that up for you and it's really easy to add to that as well.
- 2:10But it really depends on, on your strategy again.
- 2:14Work with me.
- 2:15You can have different services on, on that page, or you can choose to have different pages for the different services.
- 2:25You also can have both.
- 2:27So we'll go into that more and then about your page, freebie page, we'll go into the freebie flow in a later module.
- 2:38So yeah, the contact page, I like to start from.
- 2:42The easiest page.
- 2:44So this is quite upfront.
- 2:46It's quite easy to know, okay, how do you want to be contacted?
- 2:49What's your preference there?
- 2:51What do your clients need to be able to contact you?
- 2:54But really it's about how do you want to be contacted?
- 2:57Like I don't have my phone number on my website because I don't ask my phone really.
- 3:01I have it always on silence.
- 3:03So if someone wants to contact me, they have to either email me or message me, and that works.
- 3:10Great for me, right?
- 3:12We can decide this.
- 3:14So also tell them where you are in the world.
- 3:16'cause usually that's something I want to know when I go to a website and I see that it's missing at quite a lot of websites.
- 3:23'cause that will tell me, okay, where are they in the world and kind of time zones and all that.
- 3:29And I'm just a curious person.
- 3:31If you have an in-person space, then how do they find it?
- 3:34The address and.
- 3:36Yeah.
- 3:37Yeah.
- 3:37Do you want a form, a map, a photo contact, details number, address, opening hours and socials, like all the relevant information.
- 3:48And also a bit of personality there.
- 3:52Like what happens when they contact you?
- 3:54What can they expect?
- 3:55How fast or slow are you gonna answer?
- 3:59So really think about this and the website is, we really think about things deeply once so we can set it up.
- 4:06So we'll set this up and you can always change.
- 4:09So that's the contact page.
- 4:11And we have some more questions for you in the Google Doc as well.
- 4:16And here's the about page.
- 4:18And the about page is really not about you.
- 4:22It is your story in a way that connects, why do you do this work and what do you stand for?
- 4:28Your approach, your philosophy, so they feel your energy and your values that we talked about.
- 4:34And some personal touches, like photos, fun facts, messages, quotes, and then what to do next.
- 4:43So it's really about tuning into the energetic touch point.
- 4:49Who is your ideal client?
- 4:50What do they need to hear from you to feel safe with you and to, so it's not about manipulation, it's just about telling the story that we need to hear to be able to work with you.
- 5:01Know that you are the person for them or that you are not the person for them, right?
- 5:08So it's really telling them about us, about the vision and, and if it's aligning with them, great, but it's turning on that light in the lighthouse, right?
- 5:19So they can actually find us and understand that we are for them.
- 5:24So here is the flow that we can use if you want some prong.
- 5:28You absolutely don't have to use the flow, and you don't have to use the exact words either.
- 5:32It's just the support if you would like to, so this could be ICU, like for me it would be ICU healer in business, trying to do it all and having too much on your plate, like being forced into focus on tech when all you want to do is help people.
- 5:53That could be like one really.
- 5:55Hook, I think to really see, yeah, I understand you and my journey like I used to be there or I know how it feels.
- 6:06I blah, blah, blah.
- 6:08Relatability.
- 6:10That's this is, and then my work will support you in that.
- 6:15And yeah, the creating that clarity.
- 6:19Yes, I understand.
- 6:21And then what is possible for you, like.
- 6:24With my clients, I help them do this, the transformation.
- 6:30And you can add like the invitation, you're in the right place if this, and this and this.
- 6:35And then a little bit about me.
- 6:36When I go to an about page, I do go to an about page because I do want to know about the person.
- 6:42I want to know who they are.
- 6:43I want to know their life situation, like their values.
- 6:48'cause otherwise I won't really know if they're in the right space.
- 6:53To help me.
- 6:55So I've seen some about pages that really doesn't say anything about the person, and I don't like that.
- 7:01I really want to know you.
- 7:02If I go to your about page, so a little bit about you, like where you are, how you live.
- 7:10And then what is the next step now that they have read your about page?
- 7:14What is the next step that they can take with you?
- 7:16Is it to book in a call?
- 7:18Do you have a freebie that they can sign up for?
- 7:20And right on the next page is the offer of service page or what, whatever you want to call it.
- 7:26And.
- 7:28It is a clear breakdown of each service or program that you have.
- 7:33Who is it for?
- 7:34What's included, how it helps the cost, the time is it in person?
- 7:40Like all the facts that they need to know, but also the transformation that it's offered and written in their language like we did the ideal client interviews.
- 7:49So really use those terms that they used.
- 7:55And then we can use questions that you often get asked about your service or things that you think that people will ask.
- 8:02Can do question and answer section there as well.
- 8:05If you want to stories or testimonials for proof.
- 8:09So you can choose how you want to give the testimonials to us.
- 8:12Either if you want to put them all in a document or if you have video, that's great.
- 8:17Or if you want to add it in the text so we can.
- 8:20Know which page you want each testimonial on.
- 8:24And yeah, always the next step just offer the step and they can say yes or they can say no.
- 8:29But if it's not there, it's an immediate no.
- 8:32Right?
- 8:32So we need to make the offer, book, buy apply, contact you.
- 8:37Alright.
- 8:40And then a way to contact you if they have questions or would like to ask you or talk to you before they book in.
- 8:48So that's really in your strategy as well, depending on how you would like it.
- 8:53If you would like to talk to 'em first, then they can book in like a free few, two minutes call with you.
- 8:58Or if you'll like them to just book in, that's really up to you.
- 9:04And we can structure this in a few different ways on the website.
- 9:08We can have one like work with me or offers a service page and then have.
- 9:13All the services on that page and just go in, click in, and then there's a, a booking page for the service.
- 9:21Or we can have two different sections.
- 9:24And for the, if you just have two different, like I have that for my business part and my family constellation part, I have two different pages for that.
- 9:36So that's one way of doing it.
- 9:38But with my business things, I have all of them on that page.
- 9:44And then they can go in and read more for each thing.
- 9:48So yeah, it's really about how structured in a way that's clear and supportive.
- 9:54And of course we'll help you with that too.
- 9:57And then we have the event page.
- 9:58If you have events, it can be your own events or it can be events that you are participating in.
- 10:05If you want to, we can set up that event page for you as well so people can.
- 10:11Be informed, and I would highly recommend to have like a form at the top so they can sign up for the next event.
- 10:17So you can send them an email when you have an event coming up.
- 10:22And each event needs to be clear, when, where, why, what are you gonna do for whom cost how to register.
- 10:31Again, it's all those things and yeah.
- 10:37Yeah, we'll go through the event flow as well.
- 10:40And, and show you how that works.
- 10:43And then we can have, as I said, other pages depending on what you want, blog, podcast, resource page, testimonials.
- 10:50Like some people have just a full page of testimonials.
- 10:53I prefer to just put them out to where they belong, like where, and all just sprinkled around the page.
- 11:03And then we'll have the freebie page as well.
- 11:06And then we have the legal pages, privacy terms and conditions, disclaimers.
- 11:11So legal pages are not just formalities, they are clear expectations, clean boundaries, protection for your energy and time, and a way to hold your work with integrity.
- 11:23So yeah, I paid quite a lot of money for my legal templates and they're quite American and that's okay, but we don't have to have that much.
- 11:34It's, and I want, I need to say as well, this is not legal advice, all right?
- 11:41But there are things that we can put in place and just make it really clear for ourselves and our clients how we can use this.
- 11:49Then you can have someone to look through if you want to, but, so these are really here for your safety and the client's safety.
- 11:57So to tell them and yourself, this is how I work.
- 12:01The decision that you can make here is.
- 12:04Around cancellation and rescheduling.
- 12:07How do I want that to work?
- 12:09And then you can put that in your pages and it's communicated.
- 12:14Refunds.
- 12:14How does that work?
- 12:15Responsibility, who is responsible and for what commitments.
- 12:21What is your commitment?
- 12:22What's your client commitments?
- 12:23Behaviors, what behaviors do you not tolerate in your space?
- 12:27And privacy?
- 12:28What do you do with the information that you collect?
- 12:33And one way we can check this is to ask where have I felt unclear, drained, or taken advantage of in the past, but also where have clients stepped over a boundary?
- 12:44Like it can be really empowering to have these legal pages in place because then you have it written black and white.
- 12:51And since they have registered free service, they agree to them so you can lean back into them.
- 12:58And I do have, in the Google Doc, I've put together some examples for you that you can use to, to start from and just fill in what you want, the decisions that you want to have in your legal pages.
- 13:14And again, if you want to, you can have a legal person looking through them.
- 13:18We are not that, just wanna make that clear, but it's still an agreement between you and a client.
- 13:27All right, so the last page I like to do is the homepage.
- 13:31It is the page that bring it all together.
- 13:33It's like your shop window, like when people pass by the physical shop.
- 13:38This is your homepage.
- 13:39It's like the first thing they see.
- 13:42It's the first thing that helps them to know if it's for you, and it's the first impression of you and your energy.
- 13:49It needs to have a clear statement of who you help and the transformation you offer, preferably above the fold.
- 13:55You can even have your freebie there if a free taster, like if a restaurant would stand outside and just offer some small aifs, for example, and welcoming them in if they like it.
- 14:09A short welcome that shows you get their struggles, you understand them, a quick peek of your offers with links to learn more testimonials of success.
- 14:19Stories sprinkle in and simple ne next step to book in sign up or your preview.
- 14:25So really look at the different pages with this page checklist.
- 14:30Does it serve the purpose of this page?
- 14:32Does it have the right energy?
- 14:34Does it have the keywords for SEO?
- 14:37And AI and humans is this setting the right expectations so that the, the client understand what it's, that they get and their expectations match their, the lived experience.
- 14:53Does it have the practical information it needs?
- 14:56Does it have testimonials?
- 14:57Is it a clear next step?
- 15:00Oh, you're 80% happy with it?
- 15:02'cause I, I am a really strong believer in the.
- 15:072080 rule where if you're okay with 80%, no one will notice the last 20%.
- 15:18So that's how I think of things.
- 15:20That's how I keep my perfectionist in check.
- 15:24All right, so now it's your turn.
- 15:26It's time to put the text together and.
- 15:28In the Google Drive with the document there, we also asked what view you have on on the text that you're writing.
- 15:37Do you want us to use it word by word?
- 15:39Do you see it as a draft that you want us to work a bit with?
- 15:43Or how are you looking at it?
- 15:44Is it okay if we change it or do you want it exactly as you've written it?
- 15:48And we will respect your wishes.
- 15:50Might come with suggestions here and there, but yeah.
- 15:55Uh, we are really looking forward to create something that you're really happy with.
- 16:00All right.
- 16:01Just go over and start writing and start creating what you want to say on your website.
- 16:19In this module, we're gonna talk about your website and finally start to put all the things together that we talked about.
- 16:26But what is your website?
- 16:29So your website is your store online, it's your home online.
- 16:32How do people feel when they come into my space?
- 16:35So this is really a space to talk about who you are, what you want, and how the clients can work with you.
- 16:44So again, we're gonna go into the feeling of it and we've already set how we want that feeling to be.
- 16:51So just how can we translate that into your website?
- 16:55And we're also gonna talk about the text and create the text for each page.
- 17:00So why would someone land on your website, unlike with a physical store where people can just.
- 17:05Casually walk by and look into the window.
- 17:08It's like, oh, I wanna go in there.
- 17:11Online is a bit of a different story, right?
- 17:13That's why we need to be so specific, so the right people actually finds us.
- 17:19So why would someone land on your website?
- 17:21Well, they have followed a link and want to know more maybe from your socials or business card or recommendation.
- 17:29They are looking for practitioners in your area.
- 17:32Maybe they search for.
- 17:35If you're that kind of business, they search for, for example, massage in Aya, they found you or they are already know you and want to book another session and know more about your offerings.
- 17:50So this page is really for your clients, your potential clients, and depending on the strategy that you have, it can be for.
- 17:58Businesses that want to CoLab with you and they really want to know more about you.
- 18:03That's why they're on your page.
- 18:04They want to know more about you, what you do, and really what's in it for them.
- 18:12Yeah, so what are the questions they have when they land on your page?
- 18:16It is this, the solution to my problem is this for me?
- 18:21You maybe have talked about a certain challenge or problem in your social media.
- 18:27And they're clicking to look, learn a bit more.
- 18:31And they're asking, is this really the solution to my problem?
- 18:37And the second question is, can I trust this person?
- 18:41Who are they really?
- 18:42What are the proof that they will do what they say they're gonna do?
- 18:46So we'll talk about that a bit more.
- 18:49And will this person understand me?
- 18:51Like, what is their journey?
- 18:53Will they really understand my situation?
- 18:55Will they be able to understand my point of view and what's in it for me?
- 19:01What do you actually offer?
- 19:02What, what can I gain here and what do I do now?
- 19:06What's the next step?
- 19:07The call to action.
- 19:09CTA.
- 19:12So as you see, people are really in their internal world.
- 19:15They're looking for a solution to the problem they're looking to connect, but also really what's in it for me.
- 19:23So what are the functions of a website?
- 19:28It's to introduce you and position you as trustworthy, credible, and relatable.
- 19:35Setting the expectation.
- 19:37Inform and educate about your work, your approach, your offers, building connection and trust, and let the people feel your energy and feel like you're the right fit.
- 19:48Showcase your offers, show the menu, your service, products or events.
- 19:53Clearly explaining benefits, features on what transformation they can expect to capture leads and interests.
- 20:02Now offer free resources to visitors so they can stay connected even if they're not ready to buy.
- 20:07And also to enable action.
- 20:09Help them make a decision and help them see what the next step is.
- 20:14It's asking if we go back to the restaurant analogy, can I take your order?
- 20:19So I'll book a call, sign up, buy, register, contact you.
- 20:24So it's really up to you to make the offers, but it's up to them to decide.
- 20:29And the website will work for you 24 7.
- 20:31Your website is always there, always on and yours, so you can decide what you want to put there, and people signing up, that's yours.
- 20:41It's not a social media where they change the algorithms or they change things and you can be shut off from one day to another.
- 20:49Like, yes, tech issues happen and things happen and things change, but it's yours, right?
- 20:56And that the functions of our website is also to reflect your brand and your MD through your design photos, words, your website, set the tone and the feeling of working with you.
- 21:06So it's not just functional, it's also an energetic invitation to work with you.
- 21:11What else do we need to think about when we create that website?
- 21:15You might have heard SEO search engine optimization.
- 21:21And how do we do that?
- 21:22How do we optimize so that the search engines will find you?
- 21:28Well, it's really to, and the more we, we go into the era of AI and intelligence, it's more and more the same thing as people are searching for.
- 21:41So yeah, what are people searching to find you?
- 21:44If it's is a specific area and.
- 21:48Optimizing and really thinking about the page titles, the headings, meta descriptions, URL, all Text for images, and we'll help you with that as well.
- 21:57But we will ask you what it is that you really want to be known for and what you want to be found for.
- 22:04And also backlinks, other websites linked to yours, so that will also give you credibility in the search engine optimization eye.
- 22:14It's really going from that search engine optimization.
- 22:17The more people go from search engines, and that was really about working with the system and trying to like repeat the same.
- 22:31Uh, words over and over again, just so the search engine would find you.
- 22:35We're going to AI optimization because people are going from looking for things in a search engine through actually asking AI about things, right?
- 22:48And AI discovery is more about visibility through clarity and resonance.
- 22:52So again, it's about really asking the same questions as a person would.
- 22:59So AI optimization is thinking about all that we did with search engine optimization, but make it a bit more flowy and just emphasizing on how important it is with the clarity.
- 23:12Who do you help?
- 23:14What do you help them with, and what can they do next?
- 23:17It's really the same as a person would ask themselves.
- 23:20So if someone or AI landed on your site for 30 seconds, would they clearly know this?
- 23:28So just have that in mind.
- 23:29It's not about repeating the same word over and over again, but it is about clarity and show that consistency through your whole website.
- 23:43All right, so we talked about such Indians ai, but what about people?
- 23:47Well, social proof and social proof isn't about proving your worth.
- 23:51It's just about reflecting what's possible.
- 23:54So when someone sees themself in another person's experience, they naturally suffer into trust.
- 24:00So they're thinking like, oh, that person got that result.
- 24:04Yeah, maybe I can get something similar and just how do we do that?
- 24:10Social proof.
- 24:10Well, you show that you're a human.
- 24:12You have photos, personality, and your personal story.
- 24:17Testimonials of transformations that if something, as I said, if something was possible for them, it's probably possible for me too.
- 24:26And client results, again, similar to testimonials and yeah, you're human, your own experience is really valid as well.
- 24:36And also showing that belonging like photos with other people, that gives social proof and trust as well.
- 24:42All right, in the next section we're gonna look at the different.
- 24:46Pages on your website.
