- 0:01Speaker 1: The Blaze in Confused.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Podcast is rated M for marijuana no minors, but your
- 0:05Speaker 2: audience is only you're smelling here smells very nice and clean.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Doesn't it lookt up? Does Look at my floor right now?
- 0:13Speaker 2: Don't you just want to lick it?
- 0:14Speaker 1: I want? Maybe I walked in and I said, how
- 0:17Speaker 1: great it looked in here. You did a great job,
- 0:19Speaker 1: Thank you very much, very productive on your sick day.
- 0:21Speaker 2: I don't know why I felt the need yesterday to
- 0:22Speaker 2: wake up and mop my floor.
- 0:24Speaker 1: That's what.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Actually, I'll tell you exactly why I mopped the floor
- 0:26Speaker 2: because I found my mop.
- 0:28Speaker 1: That's right. Oh my god, you've had it in your
- 0:31Speaker 1: laundry room. Yeah. I had to clean out my laundry
- 0:32Speaker 1: room and I found my mop.
- 0:33Speaker 2: And then I thought, all right, well, you know, if
- 0:35Speaker 2: there's ever been an opportunity to mop, I guess it's today.
- 0:38Speaker 2: This is the universe telling me that I need to
- 0:40Speaker 2: mop my floor.
- 0:40Speaker 1: So I did. You had to clean something to find
- 0:43Speaker 1: your cleaning device. Well, here's the thing. Here's the thing.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I'll tell you exactly why.
- 0:47Speaker 2: So there's a there's a furnace inspection this week at
- 0:50Speaker 2: my apartment building. So they put out this memo and
- 0:53Speaker 2: set everybody in this apartment building how to clean out
- 0:55Speaker 2: their laundry room and make sure that there was like
- 0:57Speaker 2: easy access to the furnace. Yeah, well there was not easy.
- 1:00Speaker 2: The access to my furnish sounds like a personal problem.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Doesn't it.
- 1:03Speaker 2: So I had to make easy access to my furnash,
- 1:05Speaker 2: which involved cleaning out my entire laundry room, which involved
- 1:08Speaker 2: me finding my mop, which involved me mopping my entire apartment.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Issue.
- 1:13Speaker 2: And you moved furniture right, you said, I moved. I
- 1:16Speaker 2: moved the furniture back. I mopped it. I moved the
- 1:18Speaker 2: furniture right back after. I'm telling you, on.
- 1:19Speaker 1: A sick day, I did all this. Yeah, good for you.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Yeah you're sick, No, he was. I was feeling much
- 1:25Speaker 1: better now, thank you, thank you. Yes, my lovely spokesperson
- 1:28Speaker 1: over here, mister Beckers, I just want to make sure
- 1:30Speaker 1: that our guest knows that we didn't bring him into
- 1:31Speaker 1: an environment where it was you know, he was going
- 1:33Speaker 1: to get sick. That's all. Yeah, here, you want this.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I had also asked for that same reason.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Here's the one thing, though, that's a little weird. They're
- 1:40Speaker 2: going to come inspect my furnace on Wednesday. Yeah, I
- 1:43Speaker 2: feel the need to be here, you know. But they
- 1:46Speaker 2: put on this note that they're going to knock once
- 1:48Speaker 2: and if nobody's home, that they're going to enter, go
- 1:50Speaker 2: to the furnace, which should take less than thirty minutes
- 1:53Speaker 2: for the inspection, and then leave like they'll let themselves
- 1:55Speaker 2: in and do it.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Why is it a one knock system? By the way,
- 1:58Speaker 1: one knock that's all you get. I don't know they
- 2:01Speaker 1: put that on the note. You gonna hear the first one.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You don't know what if I'm sitting down here naked,
- 2:05Speaker 1: I know, great waiters start the show. We have breaking
- 2:08Speaker 1: news though, don't we?
- 2:09Speaker 3: Oh?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yeah, here, So.
- 2:11Speaker 2: We always record the podcast on a Sunday, and apparently
- 2:15Speaker 2: this week by the time in this post, hopefully Trump
- 2:18Speaker 2: foill reclassify marijuana.
- 2:21Speaker 1: A lot of talks of that recently here listen to this.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Trump held a meeting at the White House on Wednesday
- 2:26Speaker 4: with marijuana industry executives along with HHS Secretary Robert F.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Kennedy Junior, and CMS administrator of doctor memet Oz.
- 2:33Speaker 1: The dream Tube. Yeah.
- 2:35Speaker 4: They were joined on the phone by speaker Mike.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Johnson, another great individual God.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Who cited studies arguing against the move.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Marijuana experts in the Oval office right along with Robert.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
- 2:50Speaker 2: And MEM ANDAZ and the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson,
- 2:54Speaker 2: who were all saying.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Don't do it, sir, don't do it. Don't listen to him,
- 2:58Speaker 1: don't do it. Okay, there we go.
- 3:00Speaker 4: The executives reportedly rebutted Speaker Johnson's arguments, and Trump left
- 3:04Speaker 4: the conversation prepared to move forward with the reclassification reports,
- 3:08Speaker 4: saying nothing is final and President Trump could still change
- 3:11Speaker 4: his mind on this. Cannabis is currently labeled to Schedule
- 3:14Speaker 4: one drug, in the same category as heroin and LSD.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Reclassifying it as a Schedule three would put it in
- 3:19Speaker 4: the same level as steroids and tile and all with codine.
- 3:23Speaker 1: There you go.
- 3:23Speaker 2: All right, So they're going to supposedly they're going to reclassify,
- 3:27Speaker 2: and if everything goes well, yes, this episode will come
- 3:32Speaker 2: to you on Thursday, and it will be day four into.
- 3:35Speaker 1: The new Schedule three world. Let's see if he actually
- 3:38Speaker 1: does it. Yeah, tell me, tells me it's not going
- 3:41Speaker 1: to happen. I don't know. It sounds too good to
- 3:43Speaker 1: be true.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Yeah, the other thing I read this week about our
- 3:45Speaker 2: lovely government what they're doing.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Marco Rubio is cracking down on fonts.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I don't know if you heard about this what, but
- 3:54Speaker 2: the government and the White House will no longer be
- 3:57Speaker 2: using the calibri or calibri or how however you pronounce it.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Fun it's my favorite. He's cracking down on that because
- 4:03Speaker 2: it's woke and they're going back to times new Roman.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I spearad to God, I sweart a God. It's a
- 4:09Speaker 1: real story. No, it's a real story. I swear to God,
- 4:11Speaker 1: it's a real story.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Oh my god, they're cracking down on the ultra left
- 4:15Speaker 2: woke agenda. No more clip you know what I was
- 4:20Speaker 2: about to start using comic sands talk about left leading right. Hey,
- 4:24Speaker 2: our friend and travel expert Tropical Mark is.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Back traveling during the holiday season. It's got to be
- 4:29Speaker 1: pretty chrochaotic. I think I looked online the busiest days
- 4:31Speaker 1: for holiday travel or the twenty third and twenty fourth

- 4:45Speaker 5: but I was flying around Thanksgiving this year and ended
- 4:49Speaker 5: up spending most of the day at Chicago Airport. But
- 4:53Speaker 5: if you look at the schedules, every single flight was
- 4:55Speaker 5: delayed or canceled.
- 4:56Speaker 1: It was a rough day.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Yeah, for water storm. Yeah, snow, where were you? Were
- 5:01Speaker 2: you somewhere tropical Chicago? You just said he was, But
- 5:04Speaker 2: before that, No, you were stuck in Chicago. But before that,
- 5:07Speaker 2: weren't you somewhere tropical?
- 5:08Speaker 1: Before that? Yes?
- 5:09Speaker 5: Cincinnati, Cincinnati, that's not tropical. A hot, sweltering five nights

- 5:28Speaker 2: What am I thinking of? What's in Missouri? Saint Louis?
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:34Speaker 2: Yeah, but what does that have to do with Cincinnati.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I don't know Cincinnati Saint Louis. It's a lot of
- 5:41Speaker 2: you knew Cincinnati was an No, I know, I know.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I don't know why I just had a brain fart. Well,
- 5:45Speaker 2: I know why I had a brain I know exactly
- 5:47Speaker 2: why I had a brain fart. Can I press the
- 5:48Speaker 2: open button?
- 5:49Speaker 1: By the way, Yeah, we have a we have a
- 5:50Speaker 1: whole show of being the reason I wish we had
- 5:54Speaker 1: a home. Anyway, this is rough. What just hit the
- 5:58Speaker 1: fucking button?

- 6:48Speaker 1: Tropically recently? Was a Dominican Republic recently? See? This is
- 6:53Speaker 1: why we call him Tropical Mark. Yeah. Remember that last
- 6:55Speaker 1: time he was here, you asked him if anywhere in
- 6:57Speaker 1: Alaska was tropical. No, but it sounds like something I'd say. Yeah.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I mean knew that Cincinnati was in where shut up
- 7:06Speaker 1: stop it. I knew that.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I knew that Cincinnati was in Ohio, all right, I
- 7:12Speaker 2: knew that. I just had a little brain fart. I
- 7:14Speaker 2: like Ohio. There's there's some cool shit to do in Ohio.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Rockwell Hall of Fames in Cleveland. Yeah, I've wanted to
- 7:20Speaker 2: go back.
- 7:21Speaker 1: You've been there.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you really need like a couple of days
- 7:23Speaker 2: if you do that, right, I think you're right. Yeah,
- 7:26Speaker 2: like two days, two days. It's the weekend thing. But
- 7:28Speaker 2: Tropical Mark is back.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Last time we were here, we were talking about different
- 7:33Speaker 1: kind of trips, but this particular show is all about
- 7:36Speaker 1: holiday travel. Do you where are people going during the holidays.
- 7:41Speaker 1: A lot of people getting the hell out of here,
- 7:44Speaker 1: escaping their families.
- 7:45Speaker 5: If you you know this time of year, if you're
- 7:48Speaker 5: going somewhere like Cancun or Jamaica, Dominican Republic, it's upper
- 7:54Speaker 5: seventies on average. Yeah, so some people from our area
- 7:59Speaker 5: upper eventies.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of old fucking people. Jeez, what do
- 8:03Speaker 2: you mean now? The temperature? Oh oh oh, oh oh,
- 8:09Speaker 2: what's wrong with your co host, mat?
- 8:11Speaker 1: He's broken? Okay, that makes more sense. I was going
- 8:15Speaker 1: to say upper seventies.
- 8:17Speaker 5: Expect to see a lot of people in their upper seventies.
- 8:19Speaker 5: If you're going to Cancune, Dominican Republic.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Holidays seeing people with white hair, You're so stupid? All right,
- 8:28Speaker 2: that makes more sense anyway, continue, but you know it
- 8:31Speaker 2: is a popular time of year for tropical travel. February especially,
- 8:37Speaker 2: You know, February is probably the coldest month, right, the
- 8:40Speaker 2: most miserable time to be in a winter state tropical mark.
- 8:44Speaker 1: How many times a year do you go somewhere tropical?
- 8:47Speaker 5: I don't know, several, several several times. He travels quite
- 8:52Speaker 5: a bit. Yeah, I'm jealous. I want to travel. I
- 8:54Speaker 5: want a job where I can travel.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Can't you do your job from a tropical location? A
- 9:00Speaker 1: hypothetically sure.
- 9:01Speaker 5: When Becker and I went to Jamaica a bunch of
- 9:03Speaker 5: years ago, he had it in mind that he was
- 9:05Speaker 5: going to move there, and.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Oh, I remember take over the local radio.
- 9:09Speaker 2: I remember when you came back from that trip and
- 9:11Speaker 2: when you were like, I'm gonna moved to Jamaica.
- 9:14Speaker 1: It was a beautiful Yea, I loved it. It was
- 9:17Speaker 1: one of your grand ideas, one of my grand ideas.
- 9:20Speaker 1: We'll move to Jamaica. To go to Jamaica. Who wouldn't
- 9:25Speaker 1: want to live there?
- 9:26Speaker 3: Well?
- 9:26Speaker 1: Right now, they've they've gone through some ship recently with
- 9:28Speaker 1: the hurricanes and stuff. But yeah, who wouldn't want to
- 9:30Speaker 1: live there? Otherwise?
- 9:32Speaker 2: Well, they've gone through ship with hurricanes recently, But who
- 9:35Speaker 2: wouldn't want to live there.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Yeah, they're they're working on it, getting back up and running.
- 9:40Speaker 1: It won't be very long.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Yeah, Mark tropical. Mark, would you live somewhere tropical.
- 9:46Speaker 5: As long as they have a reasonable movie theater not
- 9:49Speaker 5: not too far away?
- 9:51Speaker 1: Is this what you people fucking care about? All of
- 9:52Speaker 1: these movies and movie theaters? You're you're like him? Are
- 9:56Speaker 1: you like him?
- 9:56Speaker 2: You have like the Thursday movie past or whatever. Fuck

- 10:08Speaker 1: of a movie club, yes, the answer is yes, upper seventies.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I'm telling you upper seventies.
- 10:14Speaker 5: I for me personally, in the summer in somewhere tropical,
- 10:19Speaker 5: it can be warmer than I can. I don't know
- 10:23Speaker 5: if I could live somewhere, even just sitting in here,
- 10:26Speaker 5: like somewhere like South Carolina. I love going to South Carolina.
- 10:29Speaker 5: Could I last all summer there?
- 10:32Speaker 1: You know? I don't know. So Pennsylvania really is ideal,
- 10:35Speaker 1: It's not. See you get a little bit of everything
- 10:39Speaker 1: that's what you get here, you know what I mean?
- 10:41Speaker 1: You get four seasons. It's not bad. Pennsylvania is not bad.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I would kind of miss it if if I left,
- 10:45Speaker 1: I would miss having a fall. And I like spring
- 10:47Speaker 1: a lot. I don't like I like summer. I don't
- 10:50Speaker 1: like to be sitting there if I'm going to be
- 10:52Speaker 1: sweating my ass off. I want to I've earned it.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I like just sitting there and sweating because it's hot out,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you know, I don't like that kind of heat. But
- 10:59Speaker 1: I like spring.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Rattled off all the seasons and said why he likes
- 11:02Speaker 2: all of them? Well, great, hey, now you know me.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Which one don't you like? Which one don't you like.
- 11:08Speaker 1: My least favorite? Yeah, summer, I think summer is your
- 11:12Speaker 1: least favorite. I'd rather be cool. I'd rather be cold
- 11:16Speaker 1: and be able to like bundle up and be warm.
- 11:18Speaker 1: But in this, if you're outside in the summer and
- 11:20Speaker 1: you're just sweating, how do you escape the heat? You
- 11:22Speaker 1: go inside and you sit in the air conditioner. Exactly,
- 11:24Speaker 1: you don't go outside? So what all? Right? Oh summer inside?
- 11:30Speaker 1: I'm okay with.
- 11:30Speaker 2: You're crazy anyway, Let's ask some trivia questions. Okay, fine, right,
- 11:34Speaker 2: so you're weird. I didn't know how weird you are.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You're stupid. Shut up?
- 11:38Speaker 3: Trivia Tangient gac No Blaze and Confused podcast with Becker

- 13:19Speaker 2: Fantastic toy story two equally is fantastic toy story three. Okay,
- 13:24Speaker 2: toy story four a fucking disgrace. I didn't see the
- 13:27Speaker 2: fourth one. Second one made me cry like a bitch.
- 13:30Speaker 2: You're not missing out. I think it's introduced in the
- 13:32Speaker 2: fourth one, maybe in the third one. But it's a spork.
- 13:35Speaker 1: You know about this.
- 13:36Speaker 2: No, it's a spork with a fucking googly eyes on
- 13:40Speaker 2: it and a little mustache and a smile or whatever.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I think it for you.

- 13:50Speaker 2: like somewhere, the family's out and about doing something.
- 13:52Speaker 1: The kid forgets its spork.
- 13:54Speaker 2: It turns around, the spork's gone, oh no, Mommy and
- 13:56Speaker 2: daddy are driving away.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Oh my spork. So what does daddy?
- 14:00Speaker 2: He turns the fucking car around to go get the sport?
- 14:03Speaker 1: What parents doing that? It's a good dad.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Oh please please. Amazon only sold books originally. Thomas Edison's
- 14:11Speaker 2: most famous invention was the light bulb. These are pretty easy, Becker.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I'll be honest with you.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I feel like I could have gotten this was impressive. No, yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 1: you got them all. He's being serious or he's being sarcastic.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Da Vinci painted the Mona Liza three consecutive strikes and
- 14:27Speaker 2: bowling at turkey.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know why, but.
- 14:29Speaker 2: First soft drink to be taken into space Coca Cola,
- 14:32Speaker 2: not pepsi, because Coca Cola Superior agreed.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not the reason. He's a big pepsi fan,
- 14:38Speaker 1: Are you really? Pepsi wild cherry is my favorite drink.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I think that pepsi wild cherry might be better than
- 14:43Speaker 2: Coca Cola cherry.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I don't.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I don't like those labor drinks at all, Not really.

- 15:27Speaker 1: Yeah, but the real name is not Overlook. Isn't it
- 15:30Speaker 1: the Stanley Hotel or some shit something like that? Does
- 15:33Speaker 1: sound familiar? Yeah. The smallest breed of dog, Chihuahua. They're

- 15:56Speaker 1: Yeah. You can send me an email if you like.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Joel, I think that you should roll with Tropical Mark branding.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I think that's pretty good if I would say so myself.
- 16:04Speaker 1: It's the brand that I use when I'm here, but
- 16:06Speaker 1: when you're here, I.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Think this should be a professional brand, an extension of
- 16:10Speaker 2: your professional brand.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Tropical Mark.
- 16:12Speaker 5: Yeah, tropical if my like if my name started with a.
- 16:18Speaker 1: T, perhaps what's your email address? Mark R at tripguide
- 16:22Speaker 1: dot com.
- 16:23Speaker 2: See, it should be tropical mark dot com. You should
- 16:29Speaker 2: work on that, but it's not. What is it again?
- 16:31Speaker 1: Mark R at trip guide dot com. There we go,
- 16:34Speaker 1: soon to be blazed and confused. Random thoughts.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Happy birthday, Dick van Dyke, he's one hundred years old.
- 16:43Speaker 2: One hundred years old?
- 16:45Speaker 1: Dude? Do you want to live to be one hundred
- 16:47Speaker 1: years old? Do you think that's too old? Ah?
- 16:50Speaker 2: Well, I read the Dick van Dyke goes to the
- 16:51Speaker 2: gym every single day. Yeah, he's crazy. If living to
- 16:54Speaker 2: be one hundred requires to go to the gym every day, man,
- 16:57Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 16:58Speaker 1: That seems like it seems like a big ask. What
- 17:01Speaker 1: about you, Mark, you want to live to be one hundred?
- 17:02Speaker 1: I don't think it matters if I want to or not.
- 17:04Speaker 1: It's not gonna happen. These guys who live to be
- 17:08Speaker 1: really old. Uh, the stuff that they eat, you know,
- 17:14Speaker 1: it's different than what we all eat. Yeah. Really, If
- 17:16Speaker 1: Dick Vandyke can do it, why can't you. I don't know.
- 17:19Speaker 1: It's too late. I've had too late.
- 17:21Speaker 5: I've had too many skittles, I've had too many circus peanuts,
- 17:26Speaker 5: I've drank too much pepsi wild cherry.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Happy birthday, Dick. Do you think Van is his middle name?
- 17:31Speaker 1: Like imagine he wasn't famous, it would just be Dick Dike.
- 17:35Speaker 3: You know.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Is Van his middle name? It might be? Or is
- 17:41Speaker 1: Vandyke his last name. It's just there's a space there,
- 17:43Speaker 1: So I don't know's it's all part of the last name.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I feel like it's Dick Vandyke. It's not like Dick
- 17:50Speaker 1: Van now Dick van Dyke. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Vandyke is
- 17:54Speaker 1: his last name. Oh was it? Okay? I didn't know that.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I mean, I've never confirmed it. I'm just saying that
- 18:00Speaker 1: has to be it. We're working on it. There's no
- 18:02Speaker 1: way Van is a middle name.
- 18:04Speaker 2: His real name is Richard Wayne van Dyke. So yes,
- 18:07Speaker 2: Van Dyke is his last name. Dick Dike I mean
- 18:10Speaker 2: that that's uh, go to the next thing. He's onto
- 18:13Speaker 2: something with the flower. I mean, even though he's one hundred,
- 18:16Speaker 2: never too late to rebrand, you know. I think that's
- 18:19Speaker 2: what he needs.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I think you really like this next one if you
- 18:21Speaker 1: want to take a look at that one.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Mike Lindell that my pillow guy is running for governor
- 18:25Speaker 2: of Minnesota. So I had a Google the other day.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Is he from Minnesota? He is from Minnesota?
- 18:30Speaker 1: All right, at least he's got He's not like that
- 18:32Speaker 1: oz guy, Becker writes.
- 18:34Speaker 2: The ironic thing is I would sooner vote for a
- 18:37Speaker 2: pillow to become governor before I would ever vote for
- 18:39Speaker 2: that weirdo. Man, you remember those commercials used to be everywhere,
- 18:44Speaker 2: ground everywhere growing up.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Did you ever buy one?
- 18:47Speaker 2: No?
- 18:47Speaker 1: I wasn't sold on it either.
- 18:49Speaker 2: My pillow dot com a new study show sniffing your
- 18:52Speaker 2: own farts could boost brain power and help fend off
- 18:55Speaker 2: Alzheimer's pretty crazy, right, wow, boost your brain power? On
- 19:00Speaker 2: that note, it was so funny.
- 19:06Speaker 1: It was my phone. It keeps telling me my storage
- 19:08Speaker 1: is like it's almost maxed out at this point, So
- 19:11Speaker 1: it gives me a bunch of things I can delete
- 19:13Speaker 1: and there's a video that you sent me about two
- 19:15Speaker 1: years ago where you were like, it's just you and
- 19:18Speaker 1: you say, hey, I forgot to tell you something, and
- 19:21Speaker 1: then you just put the phone down to your ass
- 19:23Speaker 1: and you fart and you sent that to me. Here
- 19:25Speaker 1: we go. This is from the vault fun facts. Oh
- 19:31Speaker 1: that's it. That's very uneventful. How old is that? I
- 19:35Speaker 1: think it was like two years ago? Wow, you keep everything. Jeez, dude,
- 19:38Speaker 1: I have everything since I got that phone, or that
- 19:40Speaker 1: I've had an iPhone so a long time. Now. Your
- 19:43Speaker 1: phone is full of incriminating evidence against me. Yeah. Are
- 19:46Speaker 1: we ready for trivia?
- 19:47Speaker 3: Here?
- 19:47Speaker 1: Let's do some trivia.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Facts optional Flass Karanteed Though, Blazed and Confused podcast with
- 19:55Speaker 3: Becker and Joel.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Who's going first? Me? Or I'll go first? Man? You
- 19:59Speaker 1: want to pick your cat? Weird science, geography, people and statistics,
- 20:05Speaker 1: or science science? Weird science or science. I'll go with
- 20:09Speaker 1: weird Science. Let's do it. Question number one. I have
- 20:15Speaker 1: a question for you. Who does the song weird science?
- 20:18Speaker 1: Weird Science?
- 20:20Speaker 3: Ah?
- 20:21Speaker 2: Very good, Well, I don't people understanding never would have
- 20:24Speaker 2: gotten that.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Dolly was the first cloned animal. This is a two parter.
- 20:31Speaker 1: What type of animal was she? That's the first question.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Dolly was the first cloned animal. What type of animal
- 20:40Speaker 1: was she? I want to say a pig. You have
- 20:46Speaker 1: Mark as a lifeline.
- 20:48Speaker 2: I know.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I don't want to go to.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Him on the first one though, Piggy, piggy, But it
- 20:54Speaker 2: would make sense that they would trysh it on a pig, right, Well,
- 20:58Speaker 2: that's sad to think.
- 20:58Speaker 1: What's her name? The dolly? And they cloned her? Yep.
- 21:03Speaker 1: So now there's two dollies Dolly one do two? Oh? Delli?
- 21:09Speaker 2: Guess so, Lyda, I really think it's a pig. I'm
- 21:18Speaker 2: gonna say pig. Final answer, Yeah, finally you got it.
- 21:25Speaker 2: I keep preemptively pressing the sheep.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Ah.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Here's the second part. Within two years? Can you guess
- 21:35Speaker 1: when that happened? Within two years that they cloned her?
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah, so they had one dollar sheep and they made
- 21:42Speaker 2: a new Dolly sheep. So then there's two dollars running around.
- 21:47Speaker 1: What year do you think that kind of thing would
- 21:49Speaker 1: have been achieved for the first time.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Like I think recently. But I feel like this is
- 21:54Speaker 2: a trick question. It was really a long time ago.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I'm going to say too to.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Two thousand two thousand, No, nineteen ninety six.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Okay, it wasn't as far off as I thought. You
- 22:12Speaker 1: remember that. I remember that being on the news for sure.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Dollary this sheet being cloned? And now what that football
- 22:18Speaker 1: player is doing it with his dog? Yeah, Tom Brady,
- 22:21Speaker 1: Tom Brady so weird. Must be nice to have money. Wow,
- 22:25Speaker 1: I'm learning a lot today. Alrighty great, this is a
- 22:27Speaker 1: very educational podcast. It is. You learn a lot most
- 22:29Speaker 1: of linking every week, geography, people in statistics or science.
- 22:33Speaker 1: What's next? Uh, let's go people in statistics? All right?
- 22:38Speaker 3: Question two?
- 22:41Speaker 1: What is the most common eye color in humans? Uh? So,
- 22:50Speaker 1: what would my options be?
- 22:51Speaker 2: Like?
- 22:52Speaker 1: Blue? Green, brown? Those are all people color eyes. Those
- 22:57Speaker 1: are all people color eyes. Yes, what I mean? Blue?
- 23:00Speaker 1: Green the most common color of eye. So you got
- 23:04Speaker 1: your blue ones, right, Some people got the green ones,
- 23:09Speaker 1: some people yellow eyes. Somehow yellow eyes? Do you they really?
- 23:13Speaker 1: Is that a thing? Not? Really? Yeah? I was gonna say,
- 23:16Speaker 1: what do you get of what? What? Other than blue?
- 23:19Speaker 1: Green and brown? And sometimes red? Line are gray? Ours
- 23:23Speaker 1: are red? Pretty often? I think yours don't look gray.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Sometimes they don't look.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Gray, they look blue. Yeah, yours look green. I have
- 23:33Speaker 2: like greenish blue yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna say blue.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I can't see your eyes right now. Huh huh blue?
- 23:42Speaker 2: You think blue is the most common? I gee, I
- 23:45Speaker 2: guess it's not blue. Then not final answer?
- 23:49Speaker 1: All right, Brown, final answer, this is stupid Brown. Brown
- 23:53Speaker 1: is right?
- 23:54Speaker 5: Oh great, good job, new man. It wasn't a good job.
- 24:00Speaker 5: The real guest was blue, brown girl.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Question three, geography or science geography? What is the only
- 24:12Speaker 1: continent without an active volcano? How many continents are there? Seven?
- 24:21Speaker 1: All right? You say that, Look I don't know it.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Making sure, asshole? The only continent without an active volcano?
- 24:33Speaker 2: All right, so we got like North America, South America, Africa, Australia, Europe, Asia, one, two, three, four, five, six,
- 24:50Speaker 2: and I'm missing one Antarctica Antarctica.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Oh wait did you do that?
- 24:54Speaker 2: One?
- 24:55Speaker 3: No?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Is that that's a continent? Yeah? Yeah, well that's not
- 25:01Speaker 1: the answer.
- 25:06Speaker 5: I feel like I'm being trick. All right, I'm gonna
- 25:09Speaker 5: stop talking. What Well, it's the answer is not Antarctica.
- 25:13Speaker 5: If he wasn't even sure if that was.
- 25:14Speaker 2: A sure though, because right away I'm thinking, well, ca,
- 25:17Speaker 2: well maybe it is Antarctica because you think snow, well,
- 25:21Speaker 2: how could there be snow? If there was a big
- 25:23Speaker 2: old volcano mounting all.
- 25:25Speaker 5: The snow, I'm telling you the way he said it,
- 25:27Speaker 5: I'd be very surprised.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I agree with Mark, do you yes, I don't worry
- 25:32Speaker 1: about it. Don't worry about Haarcica. That's not the answer.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah, but again, tell me I'm wrong. I'm trying to
- 25:37Speaker 2: think like a scientist here.
- 25:39Speaker 1: You are wrong. Okay, what are the let's go through
- 25:41Speaker 1: the list again.
- 25:44Speaker 2: North America, South America, Africa, Australia, Australia. Maybe it's Australia, Europe, Asia, Antarctica.
- 25:56Speaker 1: You want to go with your life? Are gonna do
- 25:58Speaker 1: your lifeline?
- 25:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with my Lifelineustralia, Australia.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Final answer correct. Ah, wow, man.
- 26:06Speaker 2: That we worked it out. Yeah, it took a long time.
- 26:08Speaker 2: I'm telling though you would. So you mean to tell
- 26:10Speaker 2: me that there's a volcano on Antarctica.
- 26:13Speaker 5: That would have definitely been your guess if not for
- 26:17Speaker 5: his tell.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, he didn't even tell that. I had to tell,
- 26:20Speaker 1: which was funny. He's investigating.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Wow, Antarctica has numerous volcanoes, many hidden beneath the ice. Yep,
- 26:31Speaker 2: volcanoes under the ice, there must be some thick ass ice.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Is your mind blown right now? Yeah, a little bit,
- 26:38Speaker 1: because you'd think volcano hot? Right, yeah, exactly exactly? How
- 26:42Speaker 1: does hot work with under ice? Volcano hot? It doesn't
- 26:45Speaker 1: make any sense. I want to know how that works.
- 26:49Speaker 1: We need to have a scientist on here. We do
- 26:51Speaker 1: calling all scientists. We need you question for Is it
- 26:55Speaker 1: your turner? My turn? You have one more for me?
- 26:58Speaker 1: Do you not?
- 26:59Speaker 3: Uh?
- 26:59Speaker 1: Oh ye? Science? What are the three main layers of earth? Oh? Stuff?
- 27:08Speaker 1: Probably four?
- 27:09Speaker 3: I know?
- 27:10Speaker 1: Oh god? Alright.
- 27:11Speaker 2: So it's like the crust is one because I always
- 27:13Speaker 2: remember thinking that was funny, right, damn the crust.
- 27:18Speaker 1: The Earth's crust.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Star war friends, we were the kids that would get
- 27:26Speaker 2: like kicked out of science class because every time the
- 27:28Speaker 2: teacher would say crust, I'd bust out laughing.
- 27:31Speaker 1: It'd be bad.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Yeah, crust Manto is the mantle in the crust. The
- 27:39Speaker 2: mantles like the middle, right. I don't know if that's
- 27:43Speaker 2: one of them, though, crust is definitely one of them.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Mantle might be one. There's one more crust mantle.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Uh.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I feel like it's something with a big name that
- 27:56Speaker 2: I'm never gonna remember. Metamorphos. It's not a metamorphos. Sure,
- 28:00Speaker 2: I don't know what that is, but that sounds right. No,
- 28:03Speaker 2: you think that's a layer of the earth. Yeah, that's
- 28:06Speaker 2: not it's not a layer. No, not a layer. Sorry,
- 28:09Speaker 2: but the word is not big. I'll give you that hint.
- 28:12Speaker 1: It's not big. Four letters, four letters. Yeah, it's the
- 28:15Speaker 1: small word. Small word. So you said what crust? You
- 28:19Speaker 1: said mantle? Yeah, that might not be right though, I
- 28:24Speaker 1: don't know.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Fuck core right, the core right in the middle, So
- 28:32Speaker 2: mantle's not one, no it is. Oh yeah, you had crust, mantle,
- 28:35Speaker 2: and core. So I got two out of three pretty good?
- 28:37Speaker 1: All right. I thought you were gonna get that, all right, core,
- 28:40Speaker 1: good jobs, I think you got. You got one right
- 28:42Speaker 1: and one assisted right, so you got two. Yeah, fifty.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Brush up on my trivia.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Plays Get Confused with Becker and Joe, the podcast that
- 28:52Speaker 3: proves you can actually get worse at trivia the more
- 28:56Speaker 3: you try.
- 28:57Speaker 1: All right, now it's your turn. Question number one? Shall
- 29:01Speaker 1: I let you pick your categories? Two? Okay? All right?
- 29:04Speaker 2: Middle school English, classic TV brands and slogans or lyric challenge.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Brands and slogans.

- 29:31Speaker 2: Uh, I don't really know, to be honest with you,
- 29:34Speaker 2: it's been a long time since I've been in one.
- 29:39Speaker 2: This now defunct store used to say, you've got questions,
- 29:43Speaker 2: We've got answers.

- 29:49Speaker 2: Since what is Staples defunct?
- 29:54Speaker 1: Yeah? Literally won down the story. I think recently they're
- 29:58Speaker 1: announcing their closure. I think that just recently was a

- 30:22Speaker 1: don't remember. It's radio shack. Radio shack.
- 30:27Speaker 2: You didn't get that either, huh, No, didn't know. When's
- 30:30Speaker 2: last time we were in a radio shack.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Well, they've been closed a long time, they have, But
- 30:33Speaker 1: I mean I was I used to like going to
- 30:35Speaker 1: radio shack. Oh yeah, I used to go to radio
- 30:37Speaker 1: shacks as a kids play with the radios and stuff
- 30:39Speaker 1: and the shacks.
- 30:40Speaker 2: And question too, Classic TV middle School English or lyric
- 30:49Speaker 2: challenge middle school English. All right, so what do you
- 30:53Speaker 2: call a word that sounds like what it describes? Like buzz?
- 31:01Speaker 2: Like what buzz?
- 31:02Speaker 1: Like a bee?
- 31:03Speaker 2: It buzzes, buzzes? Is that word sounds like what it describes?
- 31:07Speaker 2: What do you call that a descriptor?
- 31:10Speaker 1: Right? Wait? No? Is there like an actual like a
- 31:13Speaker 1: term for a word that sounds like what it like?
- 31:16Speaker 1: What he said? Reader? One more time, I might have
- 31:21Speaker 1: to go to Mark.
- 31:21Speaker 2: What do you call a word that sounds like what
- 31:24Speaker 2: it describes like buzz? You know this says middle school English.
- 31:28Speaker 2: I think this is really more like that's hard. I
- 31:30Speaker 2: think it's more like elementary school. That's why, Well, that's
- 31:33Speaker 2: why it's hard. Uh, yeah, of course I believe you.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Does the sound of the word was that what you said?
- 31:48Speaker 3: Like?
- 31:48Speaker 1: Word? Does the sound of the word like buzz like
- 31:53Speaker 1: a bee? I have no idea. I have no idea.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Are you forfeiting or I have to forfeit because I
- 32:00Speaker 1: don't think Mark knows it either.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Automatipia about a pia.
- 32:09Speaker 1: That was a good question.
- 32:10Speaker 2: I'm autom outipia. Did you ask that your trivia question? Yeah,
- 32:15Speaker 2: a handful of teams.
- 32:16Speaker 1: You got it right?
- 32:16Speaker 5: Really, that is probably something you would learn in middle
- 32:18Speaker 5: school and then never thought I ever again?
- 32:21Speaker 1: Right, yeah, I just proved it.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Question three Classic TV or the Lyric Challenge?
- 32:28Speaker 1: Classic TV?
- 32:29Speaker 2: What was the name of the Cosby show spinoff that
- 32:34Speaker 2: followed Denise to College, premiered in nineteen eighty seven.
- 32:40Speaker 1: I wanted to save mark for the lyrics, but this
- 32:44Speaker 1: is Oh man, do you have the year of any chance?
- 32:51Speaker 3: No?
- 32:51Speaker 1: When that happened? Now? Oh yeah, it was in the
- 32:53Speaker 1: question you freaking idiot? Oh say it again? Nineteen eighty seven? Yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 1: what was the name? Look at me?

- 33:03Speaker 2: What was the name of the Cosby show spit off
- 33:05Speaker 2: that followed Denise to College, premiered in nineteen eighty seven.
- 33:10Speaker 1: No, I don't have the year for you? Sorry? Yeah, yes, sorry.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I wish you'd give me the year. I just want
- 33:21Speaker 1: to say, like the Huxtables or something like that, But
- 33:24Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 33:25Speaker 2: See, you know, I have one thing I will say
- 33:27Speaker 2: about you. You're not good at using your context clues.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Why would it be called the Huxtables if if she
- 33:32Speaker 1: goes to college, it's just with her, So why would
- 33:34Speaker 1: it be called her the Huxtables if she's just going
- 33:37Speaker 1: It's the only thing I could think of. What's her
- 33:40Speaker 1: name again, Denise? It's called here, Denise, have this pill? No,
- 33:45Speaker 1: Denise goes to college. I have no fucking idea. What
- 33:47Speaker 1: Denise gets rooffied? Now, Jesus Christ in an effort to
- 33:51Speaker 1: save this show, I have no idea. Please just tell
- 33:54Speaker 1: me the answer. A different world. Fuck. I had it
- 34:00Speaker 1: in the back of my head too, and I didn't
- 34:01Speaker 1: think I had anything to do with the knowledge. Was
- 34:03Speaker 1: the world that was different? Fuck? Apparently different?
- 34:07Speaker 2: Well? I remember the jingle question for the lyric challenge
- 34:11Speaker 2: you saved the best for last.
- 34:12Speaker 1: I read the lyric, you tell me what the song is.
- 34:14Speaker 1: This might be too easy, though.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Life's like a road that you travel on when there's
- 34:19Speaker 2: one day here and the next day gone.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Say it again.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Life's like a road that you travel on when there's
- 34:29Speaker 2: one day here and the next day gone. Life's like
- 34:41Speaker 2: a road that you travel on when there's one day
- 34:44Speaker 2: here and the next day gone. I was trying to
- 34:47Speaker 2: read it fast because I thought it was too easy.
- 34:49Speaker 2: So I thought if I read it fast that you
- 34:51Speaker 2: fuck it up. But clearly I can read it slow
- 34:53Speaker 2: and you'll still get it wrong.
- 34:54Speaker 1: So yeah, it seems to be the trend here. I'm
- 34:57Speaker 1: going to go with my lifeline about life as highway?
- 35:01Speaker 1: Is it that life is a highway by those guys
- 35:04Speaker 1: by who? I remember? That's obviously not life is a highway?
- 35:09Speaker 2: I think it is it? Yeah, I'm gonna go with that.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Finally answer, Yeah, yeah, I got.
- 35:13Speaker 1: One right, Thank you man.
- 35:16Speaker 2: You didn't tell me who was by though, I remember
- 35:19Speaker 2: he has a great name, Tom Cochran.
- 35:21Speaker 1: That's right, sounds like Cockring. Life is a highway by
- 35:25Speaker 1: Tom Cockran. Yeah he loves that. I bet, I bet
- 35:28Speaker 1: he's never heard that before. Never never.
- 35:30Speaker 3: The only podcast where you can learn something then forget it.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Two minutes later the Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker
- 35:39Speaker 3: and Joel.
- 35:41Speaker 2: So you remember a couple of weeks ago when you
- 35:43Speaker 2: were busting on me because I told you that I'm
- 35:45Speaker 2: on this kick recently where I'm asking for things back. Yeah,
- 35:49Speaker 2: Like I give things to people and then I'm like
- 35:51Speaker 2: I kind of want that back. Yeah, give it back
- 35:53Speaker 2: to me. So you know when you go to Philly
- 35:55Speaker 2: and you can go to the Art Museum and there's
- 35:57Speaker 2: the statue of Sylvester stool There's a statue of Rocky there. Yeah,
- 36:02Speaker 2: well apparently that belonged to Sylvester Stallone, like he commissioned it.
- 36:07Speaker 2: It was him, It was all him, and he gave
- 36:09Speaker 2: it to the city of Philadelphia and they put it
- 36:11Speaker 2: at the Art Museum.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Right, I didn't know that.
- 36:13Speaker 2: So as of recently, as of a week ago, now
- 36:17Speaker 2: he goes to them and he says, I want this
- 36:19Speaker 2: fucking thing back.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Really, yeah, whoa what is he gonna do with it?
- 36:25Speaker 2: Like, here's what at least talk to defend myself. When
- 36:28Speaker 2: I asked for something back, it's something stupid like headphones
- 36:31Speaker 2: or you know, a rock band guitar or whatever, like
- 36:34Speaker 2: this is not a rocky Like what what are you
- 36:37Speaker 2: gonna put it.
- 36:37Speaker 1: In your garden? Like? What are you doing with that?
- 36:39Speaker 1: The number one reason to go to Philadelphia, They're biggest tourism,
- 36:42Speaker 1: you know.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Draw So there was all this pushback when he asked
- 36:46Speaker 2: for it back, and now he decided that he's gonna
- 36:51Speaker 2: let them keep it.
- 36:51Speaker 1: After all that, what the fuck did he want it for?
- 36:54Speaker 1: What is he gonna do with it? Did he have
- 36:56Speaker 1: a fight or something?
- 36:56Speaker 2: I have no idea, but how weird too to be like,
- 37:00Speaker 2: you know what, I want that statue back of myself.
- 37:04Speaker 2: I need that statue of myself. Where would you put
- 37:08Speaker 2: a big rocky statue? Where would you.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Put such a thing? Right when you walk into the house,
- 37:12Speaker 1: Like right there? I think that's exactly where it is.
- 37:17Speaker 1: He was just looking around. Something's missing? What a ten
- 37:21Speaker 1: foot version of myself? He wanted it back because he
- 37:24Speaker 1: legally owns the statue. He commissioned it for Rocky three
- 37:28Speaker 1: in the eighties, and it was only on loan in
- 37:32Speaker 1: Philly due to donations and agreements. City officials had planned
- 37:36Speaker 1: to return the original statue to stallone after a spring
- 37:39Speaker 1: twenty twenty six exhibit inside the museum, and instead keep
- 37:43Speaker 1: a replica permanently. It's not clear if he had a
- 37:46Speaker 1: specific public display planned on his property. The main reason
- 37:50Speaker 1: given was simply to take it back to his own collection.
- 37:54Speaker 1: His own collection. Did he has a collection of him?
- 37:58Speaker 1: It's just him in different poses, different films.
- 38:01Speaker 2: See, I'm telling you, I don't know what it is
- 38:02Speaker 2: about the month of December, but it's the month of
- 38:04Speaker 2: asking for things back. I want headphones back. It's supposed
- 38:07Speaker 2: to be the season of giving. You know, Rocky wants
- 38:09Speaker 2: the statue back.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Ye.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Anyway, let's eat. Okay, it's time for I feel like
- 38:19Speaker 1: these could go really well. Or is it chocolate covered pretzels?
- 38:25Speaker 1: It's sugar cookie pretzels. Sugar cookie pretzels? Yeah from Flips?
- 38:31Speaker 1: Is that Nabisco? I don't even know.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Well, you know what's on the back of this thing?
- 38:35Speaker 2: That motherfucking elf on the shelf?
- 38:37Speaker 1: Oh, I see it on the front. Two God, aren't
- 38:40Speaker 1: you glad you don't have kids?
- 38:41Speaker 2: Because man, well, let me just go on record as saying,
- 38:43Speaker 2: if I ever do have kids, they ain't gonna have
- 38:45Speaker 2: no fucking elf on the shelf.
- 38:46Speaker 1: It won't be visiting our house. At work, they have
- 38:49Speaker 1: a snoop dog and they snoop on the stoop. They
- 38:52Speaker 1: put them around the office. I think these are going
- 38:56Speaker 1: to be a hit. Oh wow, sugar cookie coated pretzels.
- 39:02Speaker 2: So it's basically white chocolate covered pretzels with sugar on them.
- 39:08Speaker 1: You think I don't know you? You're the person eating them?
- 39:11Speaker 1: Have them along? Oh here here, how do we feel
- 39:13Speaker 1: about these? I love it? Yeah, I'm a fan.
- 39:15Speaker 5: They're good holiday theme too, and they're called flips. Let
- 39:20Speaker 5: us see at the end.
- 39:21Speaker 1: What have we eaten that we haven't liked? Has there
- 39:24Speaker 1: been anything? Okay, recall, I really can't you know what
- 39:30Speaker 1: I was doing today, dude it I was at the
- 39:33Speaker 1: store thinking how much I've spent on snacks for the
- 39:36Speaker 1: show so far. It must be like three hundred dollars.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Snatch price you, ma'am. Snapshok sponsors worth every BikeE. These
