- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, just wanted to give you a quick heads up
- 0:01Speaker 1: in case you find these topics sensitive. We're going to
- 0:04Speaker 1: talk a little bit about cancers, physifically terminal cancer and
- 0:07Speaker 1: also eating disorders as well. So if you find that triggering,
- 0:10Speaker 1: just know we get into that. But otherwise, let's get
- 0:13Speaker 1: into the podcast. Tampa Bay's best music is Jadge ninety
- 0:18Speaker 1: four nine.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Welcome back to another episode of Scotti and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:22Speaker 2: This morning has been very interesting in the studio as
- 0:25Speaker 2: it looks like the biggest show of twenty twenty six
- 0:28Speaker 2: is officially out and Abby you've already been watching.
- 0:30Speaker 1: I don't know that I would call it the biggest
- 0:32Speaker 1: show of twenty twenty six, but for the girlies, it's
- 0:34Speaker 1: a I mean maybe, but there's other good shows out
- 0:37Speaker 1: right now. This is just big for the book talk girlies.
- 0:40Speaker 3: And it's off campus.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Off campus. Yeah, the hockey, hockey, romance trash show that
- 0:44Speaker 1: I love. I know.
- 0:44Speaker 2: So, like I said, I was going to read it,
- 0:46Speaker 2: and I will say I did just buy the book,
- 0:48Speaker 2: all right, So that's step one.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to get into this series.
- 0:51Speaker 1: No, you're not you. I literally I'm putting it on
- 0:54Speaker 1: the record right now. I know you are never you're
- 0:56Speaker 1: not making it past chapter two. Are you challenging me?
- 1:00Speaker 1: It's not a challenge. It's not a challenge. I just
- 1:03Speaker 1: love being right, and I know you're not going to
- 1:05Speaker 1: read it.
- 1:05Speaker 3: I literally just spent ten dollars on this book. I'm
- 1:07Speaker 3: reading it. If there's one thing, it's I will use
- 1:09Speaker 3: what I spend.
- 1:10Speaker 1: My money on read it.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I'm going to read it after the show today, after
- 1:13Speaker 2: we're done, as I'm like eating lunch today, I'll have
- 1:15Speaker 2: like little ground beef my boy kibble, okay, and then
- 1:18Speaker 2: I'll read the book and I'll just have that instead.
- 1:21Speaker 1: You are not reading it because I've given up on.
- 1:23Speaker 2: The other shows, so like I've I was just watching
- 1:25Speaker 2: there's a couple clips on Instagram of like Euphoria. I
- 1:27Speaker 2: realized that I fell back. I'm not going to finish
- 1:30Speaker 2: that one.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Every time I see a clip, I'm like, what is
- 1:32Speaker 1: this show even about?
- 1:33Speaker 2: It looks like they just took it and went to
- 1:35Speaker 2: the most extremes on everything. Yeah, and it's just trying
- 1:38Speaker 2: to be as like shocking as possible, or like with
- 1:41Speaker 2: Sidney Sweeney, I saw some clips and I was like,
- 1:43Speaker 2: good lord, this is uncomfortable.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I think they turned her into into a sex worker.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Well, like she's like trying to be like an onlyfan star. Yes,
- 1:52Speaker 2: and so the things that they do in the show,
- 1:54Speaker 2: You're like, this is I know it's a show, but
- 1:56Speaker 2: it's just kind of awkward.
- 1:58Speaker 3: It just doesn't feel right.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I know.
- 2:00Speaker 3: But that's a show that I've given up on.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I was talking about how you like yesterday, I've watched
- 2:05Speaker 2: the show sex Life.
- 2:06Speaker 3: I don't think I'm gonna finish it. I just needed
- 2:08Speaker 3: to watch them team.
- 2:08Speaker 1: You're not gonna finish.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna stop watching the show and in
- 2:15Speaker 2: places I will read off Campus Okay, but I kind.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Of want to watch it. You're gonna hate it. I
- 2:21Speaker 1: think I'm gonna really well.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I will say like those kind of shows because I
- 2:24Speaker 2: was watching over on Abby's laptop just a little bit
- 2:27Speaker 2: and I was like, this looks like garbage.
- 2:29Speaker 1: No, really, it's easy to watch garbage. But I've always
- 2:33Speaker 1: felt that way about these books. Like people the girlies
- 2:36Speaker 1: were obsessed with the Off Campus series. If you read them,
- 2:38Speaker 1: they're so good. And the funny thing is is I
- 2:40Speaker 1: read all of them. I read all of them, but
- 2:43Speaker 1: I was like they're so bad, but they're they're so.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I don't know who El Kennedy is, she's the author,
- 2:50Speaker 1: but she writes how I would imagine a frat boy
- 2:53Speaker 1: would write, Oh, that's fun like it it is she does.
- 2:58Speaker 1: She writes college men very well, like she doesn't she
- 3:01Speaker 1: doesn't fluff them up in a way where you're like,
- 3:03Speaker 1: that's not what a teenage boy like. She's very honest
- 3:07Speaker 1: about about, like this is a twenty one year old dude,
- 3:11Speaker 1: very true, this is what it would be like to
- 3:12Speaker 1: date a twenty one year old dude. And it's funny
- 3:14Speaker 1: like it is.
- 3:15Speaker 2: It is entertaining without any spoilers, like how is the
- 3:18Speaker 2: first episode?
- 3:18Speaker 3: Are you already done with the first episode?
- 3:20Speaker 1: So I kind of silently watched the first episode because
- 3:22Speaker 1: we were doing it in the studio, I can tell.
- 3:24Speaker 1: So here's the thing. I do think they took some
- 3:26Speaker 1: steps to make it a little bit more developed. But
- 3:31Speaker 1: I was I was watching this, and I was like, damn,
- 3:35Speaker 1: it's gonna be exactly like the books, like like trash,
- 3:39Speaker 1: but like good trash.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Like it's entertaining enough, Like I'm so, I guess
- 3:43Speaker 2: I gotta read the books. I understand, like what is
- 3:45Speaker 2: the like the poll, like, what is the get? What
- 3:48Speaker 2: is the drama that makes you want to watch episode
- 3:50Speaker 2: to episodes?
- 3:51Speaker 1: It's just like reality TV, you know what I mean.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Like there's nothing, there's nothing groundbreaking about it. It's college
- 3:57Speaker 1: students hooking up. That's the premise, but it's like a
- 4:01Speaker 1: realistic hookups. Like it's like, Okay, I remember kind of
- 4:04Speaker 1: this in college. Yeah, I mean like in the sense
- 4:06Speaker 1: where I don't know, like the first book, they don't
- 4:09Speaker 1: really overromanticize the lead, like the lead is a six
- 4:14Speaker 1: foot three hockey god, you know what I mean. Like
- 4:17Speaker 1: a lot of times romance novels will do this thing
- 4:21Speaker 1: where they like they almost they almost make the male
- 4:25Speaker 1: main character hyper fixate on the lead girl before they
- 4:30Speaker 1: like actually fall for them. But they're like the author
- 4:33Speaker 1: was very like he hooks up with other girls, you
- 4:38Speaker 1: know what I mean. Like I'm like, yeah, that would happen,
- 4:39Speaker 1: and you know what I mean, yes, And they don't
- 4:41Speaker 1: try and over romanticize it, so it just feels like
- 4:43Speaker 1: trashy reality TV.
- 4:44Speaker 3: I'm gonna give it a shot.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I think I am gonna like the book as long
- 4:47Speaker 2: as well it will be a good escape because usually
- 4:50Speaker 2: what I do is I read such nonfiction books that
- 4:52Speaker 2: are like personal development biography.
- 4:55Speaker 1: You're reading Gary Vee.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah, like I'm diving into the Tony Robbins world where
- 4:59Speaker 2: I'm like, right, let me take a step back, and
- 5:01Speaker 2: I'm going to go into this ridiculous college drama.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Yeah, but it might bring back some fun memories of college.
- 5:07Speaker 1: It's and it's so clearly written in twenty fifteen, Like
- 5:11Speaker 1: you're gonna read it and feel like you're in a
- 5:12Speaker 1: time capsule.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Oh, that'll be funny.
- 5:14Speaker 1: You're gonna sit there and go, oh my god, the
- 5:16Speaker 1: year's twenty fifteen. I'm a freshman in college. That's how
- 5:19Speaker 1: it feels. And it's so obvious that the girl that
- 5:22Speaker 1: wrote it has never been to a college party ever. Like,
- 5:25Speaker 1: like there's a scene that one of the girl, so
- 5:29Speaker 1: the main the female main character, has some trauma, so
- 5:32Speaker 1: she doesn't like to drink, and there's this very sweet
- 5:34Speaker 1: scene where she like drinks for the first time, but
- 5:36Speaker 1: she goes, I want a penia kalada. I'm like, nobody's drinking,
- 5:42Speaker 1: nobody's ordering a pina kialada at your local dive bar.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Absolutely not.
- 5:46Speaker 2: You're definitely not getting that at a frat party, You're
- 5:48Speaker 2: getting some punch that's been mixed with every single kind
- 5:51Speaker 2: of vodka that's under ten dollars.
- 5:52Speaker 1: That's what I mean. And so it's it's somewhat cute
- 5:55Speaker 1: where I'm like, oh, el Kennedy's never been to a
- 5:58Speaker 1: party before, and this is like what she thinks it
- 6:00Speaker 1: would be like. But in the same vein she does
- 6:04Speaker 1: write men very honestly to where she doesn't try and
- 6:07Speaker 1: I don't know, make him too squeaky cleaning to where
- 6:09Speaker 1: you're like, that's not man.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah, no, especially like I remember living in the frat
- 6:12Speaker 2: house and like there was such traditional dudes that were
- 6:15Speaker 2: like normal college dudes where it's like, oh, new girl
- 6:18Speaker 2: coming through the house every other night.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. She doesn't gloss over that. She's like, yeah,
- 6:22Speaker 1: these guys are probably hooking up with anything.
- 6:24Speaker 2: That moves absolutely, like your mind is on one thing, and
- 6:27Speaker 2: those conversations back then, I was I don't know, I
- 6:30Speaker 2: felt like I was a few steps ahead where it's like,
- 6:31Speaker 2: oh my god, you guys, the things that you say
- 6:34Speaker 2: out loud, Holy crap, that is horrible.
- 6:36Speaker 1: It's horrifying. It is.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I hope the book puts it in that way because
- 6:40Speaker 2: the things that I remember used to sitting in on conversation,
- 6:42Speaker 2: I'm like, I didn't get.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Out of here. Yeah, no, like the dudes are I do,
- 6:47Speaker 1: like the guy in the first book. So that's what
- 6:49Speaker 1: this first season is about. His name's Garrett. I like him,
- 6:51Speaker 1: like they make him redeemable. But every other guy after
- 6:55Speaker 1: that is just like objectively not a good dude, but
- 6:58Speaker 1: they're so lovable, like it's like a puppy, Like you're
- 7:01Speaker 1: You're like, oh, you're so dumb. Well, that's how the
- 7:03Speaker 1: little dudes in college were. That's how so I think
- 7:06Speaker 1: that's why people like them, as they're sort of candidly
- 7:08Speaker 1: honest about this is what it would be like to
- 7:10Speaker 1: date a hockey player in college.
- 7:11Speaker 2: That's what I always wondered when like girls would come
- 7:13Speaker 2: over to the house and I'm like, what.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Do you see in this dude? No, girl's over romanticized.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Dudes give him too much credit.
- 7:20Speaker 1: You give him too much credit. But then something happens.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It's a cannon event for every girl in the early twenties,
- 7:24Speaker 1: like you finally meet a man, like a good man
- 7:27Speaker 1: and really no, no, no, like you finally like meet
- 7:29Speaker 1: you finally meet who he truly is Oh that sucks,
- 7:33Speaker 1: or you just sober up enough to go. He was awful.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I remember the conversations with the fight Side
- 7:39Speaker 2: used to see it. I'm like, oh my god, like, girl,
- 7:40Speaker 2: what are you waiting around for this dude? Because he
- 7:42Speaker 2: has a good head of hair. Yeah, that's it, that's all.
- 7:45Speaker 2: It takes that hermetize, I guess. And maybe they're like
- 7:47Speaker 2: the king of the frat house and it's like kind
- 7:49Speaker 2: of cool. But I guess everyone has to go through
- 7:51Speaker 2: that phase where it's like, all right, it's a chapter.
- 7:54Speaker 2: It's fun, it's different, it's adventurous. Maybe you want that spontaneity,
- 7:58Speaker 2: but damn when you see that kind of like that
- 8:00Speaker 2: change over, you're like, what was I doing with that dude?
- 8:03Speaker 2: I'm sure a lot of those thoughts are happening, like
- 8:05Speaker 2: just outside of college.
- 8:06Speaker 1: But then it makes it so hard to have a
- 8:07Speaker 1: crush on a man because you just know too much,
- 8:10Speaker 1: because you're like, I know he's hot, but like, oh
- 8:12Speaker 1: my god, he's probably horrible.
- 8:14Speaker 2: You just give them years, give them some years to
- 8:16Speaker 2: kind of grow out of that, because you've got to
- 8:18Speaker 2: like separate yourself from like the twenty two to like
- 8:21Speaker 2: twenty five era where you're like, oh, let me mature
- 8:24Speaker 2: a little bit, and for some of us dudes, it
- 8:26Speaker 2: takes us a lot longer than some others. And I'm
- 8:30Speaker 2: hoping that a lot of the guys that I was
- 8:31Speaker 2: in the fraternity with, I think they grew up. I think,
- 8:35Speaker 2: I mean, there's a lot of them. I still see
- 8:36Speaker 2: at the bars that we're working, like even to this day,
- 8:39Speaker 2: and I'm like.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Guys, what are you doing? You're too old to be here.
- 8:42Speaker 2: There's certain bars that like, you know, I think we've
- 8:43Speaker 2: aged out of and now's the time.
- 8:46Speaker 1: But it's not weird that they're there. It's weird that
- 8:48Speaker 1: they want to be there.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Ah ha, Well that's what I mean. Like when we
- 8:51Speaker 2: go there, I'm like, oh, like, one, we have to
- 8:53Speaker 2: be there. We're working, we're literally getting paid to be there.
- 8:56Speaker 2: But also like the demographic is super young, where I'm
- 8:58Speaker 2: like you, I don't know.
- 9:00Speaker 1: That's where guys sometimes are weird. I'm like, you want
- 9:03Speaker 1: to talk to the twenty one year olds?
- 9:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and you're no, thirty okay, Hey, to each their own,
- 9:10Speaker 2: not my style.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Any man under twenty five, I even I just go.
- 9:13Speaker 2: No, it's very different. But even speaking of the shows
- 9:17Speaker 2: and things that we're obsessed with. I was talking about
- 9:19Speaker 2: this at the end of the show, and I realized
- 9:21Speaker 2: I've caught myself in a new obsession because I love
- 9:25Speaker 2: when people share how their algorithms are different for them,
- 9:30Speaker 2: and everyone has that weird thing they love to watch
- 9:33Speaker 2: where they could just watch video after video and for
- 9:36Speaker 2: some people and it became a whole TV show was
- 9:39Speaker 2: like pimple popping videos, and it just blew up. This
- 9:44Speaker 2: was never my thing. It grosses me out. I don't
- 9:47Speaker 2: need to even thinking about it, just sent a chill.
- 9:50Speaker 2: But my lady loves them, loves the whole pimple popping
- 9:54Speaker 2: video scene, even to the fact that we're like at
- 9:56Speaker 2: that point where she's like, I'm gonna start doing it to.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You, and I'm like, ew oh, I don't know. Some
- 10:01Speaker 1: people like that. Do you like it? I'm not done
- 10:03Speaker 1: to you. I them end different, be a little open minded.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I'm very open. But did sex life teach you? I mean, well, I.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Can't even judge anymore because what I've discovered is if
- 10:14Speaker 2: you go through my algorithm right now on my phone,
- 10:17Speaker 2: every single video on my search page is now a
- 10:21Speaker 2: teeth cleaning video where it's a dentist with like the
- 10:25Speaker 2: first person view of him scraping off. This is I'm
- 10:29Speaker 2: so sorry, this is just disgusting for you listening, but
- 10:31Speaker 2: like scraping off all the plaque on teeth and it's like,
- 10:36Speaker 2: people like, it's so gross, but I love it. They
- 10:39Speaker 2: got having gone to the dentist in years, and so
- 10:41Speaker 2: it's like tartar.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Build up, so it's like kind of satisfying. It's so satisfy.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I kind of get that because I always get a
- 10:47Speaker 1: little bit of calcium build up in between my bottom teeth. Yes,
- 10:50Speaker 1: and if it's been a while since I've lost and
- 10:51Speaker 1: I go in there and I like feel it like
- 10:53Speaker 1: crack off my two.
- 10:55Speaker 4: I do kind of love that, That's what I'm saying, like,
- 10:57Speaker 4: and you watch it because I always wonder when I
- 10:59Speaker 4: go to the dentist and that little needle thing that's
- 11:01Speaker 4: like and they're just scraping a white First off, I
- 11:04Speaker 4: hate that, but I always wonder what it looks like.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I'm like, what are you seeing in my mouth that
- 11:08Speaker 2: you're just going over? And these videos bring it to life,
- 11:11Speaker 2: and so it's like they're getting in between each tooth
- 11:13Speaker 2: and it goes from like the before and you're like,
- 11:15Speaker 2: oh man, they need some work to after. It's like
- 11:18Speaker 2: a brand new mouth and I love it and I
- 11:21Speaker 2: can't Now, I can't judge anybody else for their weird
- 11:24Speaker 2: things that they watch, because I'm like, Okay, some people
- 11:25Speaker 2: are into ASMR. Some people are into the pimple pop
- 11:28Speaker 2: and videos. Some people this is a weird one.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Well it's not.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Okay, let me take that back. It's not weird.
- 11:33Speaker 2: If it's your thing, it's fine. I just talked about
- 11:34Speaker 2: my obsession with teeth. But like nails or like toenails.
- 11:39Speaker 2: You ever see those videos pop up or it's like
- 11:41Speaker 2: a gross foot, I'll say it, you're.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Weird if you're watching the gross feed.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Well it's like they go to like the what kind
- 11:48Speaker 2: of doctor a podiatrist? And it's like that's not it.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Oh what's that what they put up the and it
- 11:55Speaker 2: just looks rank and they got to like cut off
- 11:57Speaker 2: the nail. Okay, well those or other videos. Everyone has
- 12:01Speaker 2: their thing.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I wonder if it's just satisfying because it's nice to
- 12:03Speaker 1: see something get like, see something get cleaned. That makes sense,
- 12:07Speaker 1: That's what I'm thinking.
- 12:08Speaker 2: It's nice to see like the before and after and
- 12:10Speaker 2: like the satisfying of something being cleaned, like I've done
- 12:13Speaker 2: it with window cleaning videos before.
- 12:15Speaker 3: You ever see that? This way?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Your algorithm is so boring. Well, okay, what's on yours?
- 12:20Speaker 1: Let's take a look. But you know what's funny. I
- 12:21Speaker 1: was I was talking about this with my cousin and
- 12:23Speaker 1: she was on singing fruit TikTok?
- 12:25Speaker 3: Okay, what did you?
- 12:27Speaker 1: What did you get on? Did you ever get on
- 12:29Speaker 1: singing fruit TikTok? No? I guess there was. There was
- 12:32Speaker 1: somebody making ai edits of fruit and it turned into
- 12:36Speaker 1: a soap opera what the hell? And I guess it
- 12:39Speaker 1: was starring Water Molina and her cheating boyfriend Appleton or
- 12:45Speaker 1: something like that.
- 12:45Speaker 3: I have no idea what you're talking about.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Oh, my first ad is the Off Campus series.
- 12:50Speaker 2: See it already knows see my first video is little
- 12:53Speaker 2: oh oh, that's so gross, but I know that mouth
- 12:55Speaker 2: is about to be so clean, or it's you could
- 12:57Speaker 2: go through and it's like they're just gonna scrape through
- 12:59Speaker 2: all this tartar.
- 13:00Speaker 3: It is gross to watch. It's that, or it's yeah.
- 13:04Speaker 1: So so my first video is news from Aaron Parness
- 13:08Speaker 1: nearly fifty percent of singles have stopped dating. It's too expensive?
- 13:12Speaker 3: Is that really why?
- 13:13Speaker 2: Though?
- 13:14Speaker 3: Here's a.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Is a lightning atit? What typically lightning? Edit? Oh yeah,
- 13:22Speaker 1: yeah yeah, Oh god, this makes me so sad. Oh no,
- 13:26Speaker 1: So I follow this girl? Oh my god, this is
- 13:28Speaker 1: gonna make me really sad. Oh wow. This girl is
- 13:30Speaker 1: a couple of years younger than me. Her name is
- 13:32Speaker 1: Sid Sid Toll, Sid Towel. It's spelled t wl e.
- 13:38Speaker 1: She has like stage three year, stage four liver cancer
- 13:42Speaker 1: or something along those lines, and she's been fighting it
- 13:44Speaker 1: for like the last year, a couple last couple of years,
- 13:47Speaker 1: and she's been on trials, she's been in chemo and
- 13:52Speaker 1: like none of it's working.
- 13:54Speaker 3: That's do you actually know her, It's just somebody that
- 13:56Speaker 3: you've seen.
- 13:56Speaker 1: On No, she's just on TikTok. And I started following
- 13:59Speaker 1: her because it just makes me like devastated, Like it
- 14:01Speaker 1: makes me really sad.
- 14:03Speaker 3: That sucks.
- 14:04Speaker 2: No, that is hard when you see especially like it's
- 14:06Speaker 2: very interesting, like how you could start following someone and
- 14:10Speaker 2: it feels like a true friend is on the other end.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Yeah, and they're sharing their story.
- 14:15Speaker 3: That sucks.
- 14:16Speaker 1: She just doesn't put on any error she's just like,
- 14:19Speaker 1: I feel really shitty today.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Yeah, like this is the reality of what it looks
- 14:22Speaker 2: like from this perspective.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think maybe there's some narcissism involved where
- 14:27Speaker 1: I'm like, I think about the things that I get
- 14:29Speaker 1: really upset and mad about, and not to say that
- 14:32Speaker 1: those things aren't valid, but I also go, I mean,
- 14:36Speaker 1: this girl was like literally fighting for her life, and
- 14:40Speaker 1: I know that suffering's relative, like we all suffer to
- 14:42Speaker 1: an extent. Like I'm not I'm not trying to say
- 14:44Speaker 1: that it's suffering in any capacity is and real or valid,
- 14:47Speaker 1: but I do feel like an asshole every time I
- 14:50Speaker 1: get upset a life and I see her.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it just puts it in perspective.
- 14:54Speaker 2: It makes your problems kind of seem like wait is
- 14:56Speaker 2: that And I was just talking to a friend about
- 14:58Speaker 2: this yesterday. It just allows you to valuate what are
- 15:01Speaker 2: the things that I'm truly complaining about because some things
- 15:03Speaker 2: are very valid. For some things are like Okay, no,
- 15:05Speaker 2: I have a very valid reason for being upset about this,
- 15:08Speaker 2: where it's other things are like okay, I gotta let
- 15:10Speaker 2: that go.
- 15:10Speaker 3: That's yeah, that's not that big of a deal.
- 15:13Speaker 2: There are much bigger problems that I should put my
- 15:15Speaker 2: time and energy towards, or else you're going to exhaust
- 15:17Speaker 2: yourself looking at everything. It's like, this is wrong in
- 15:20Speaker 2: my life and this is wrong on my life. Well,
- 15:21Speaker 2: now you're putting yourself in a hole of despair. There's
- 15:24Speaker 2: a guy I follow on Instagram that he's been battling
- 15:27Speaker 2: like brain cancer for years and he puts on these
- 15:29Speaker 2: like he runs around the world to kind of give
- 15:33Speaker 2: an fu to cancer, and it's become this, I mean
- 15:35Speaker 2: millions of people that follow this journey. He's like, I'm
- 15:38Speaker 2: going to you know, I got a brain tumor and
- 15:41Speaker 2: I'm going to run around the world to raise awareness
- 15:43Speaker 2: for it.
- 15:43Speaker 3: And it's crazy to watch. But it's one of those people.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Where you're like you're following along and you're kind of
- 15:48Speaker 2: on edge. You're like, oh god, I hope nothing happens
- 15:50Speaker 2: to this man. But he literally says in his video
- 15:53Speaker 2: he has terminal brain cancer. Yeah, so I want to
- 15:58Speaker 2: keep watching your videos.
- 16:00Speaker 3: I just really dread the day. Yeah, we don't get anymore.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Every time I see her come up on my timeline,
- 16:05Speaker 1: I check the date and I go, oh, thank god,
- 16:06Speaker 1: Oh jeez, Yeah, I know Sorry, that's really really depressing. Weren't.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Let's go back to the lightning edit. What is the
- 16:13Speaker 1: lightning edit? I think I liked a couple of videos
- 16:16Speaker 1: of those fights that went down. I think I've just
- 16:19Speaker 1: discovered I really like hockey fights.
- 16:21Speaker 2: See it's like, all of a sudden, remember seeing hockey
- 16:23Speaker 2: fights for the first time, and I was like, why
- 16:25Speaker 2: are they fighting?
- 16:26Speaker 3: Like guys grow up?
- 16:27Speaker 2: And then you get that, you get the meaning behind it,
- 16:29Speaker 2: and you kind of get into it, I think.
- 16:30Speaker 1: And also because I'm reading so much HoTT I'm reading
- 16:33Speaker 1: so mucht hockey, so much hockey fan fiction and the
- 16:37Speaker 1: the Off Campus series that I think my algorithm is
- 16:39Speaker 1: just like hockey.
- 16:40Speaker 3: You like hockey, don't.
- 16:41Speaker 1: You yea yeah, And I'm like, you know what, there
- 16:44Speaker 1: is a lot of drama involved in hockey.
- 16:46Speaker 3: It is like I get maybe the romance is real.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Wedding wedding day content I do like to see. I
- 16:52Speaker 1: like fashion, so I like to see brides in their fashion.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Oh yes, mine is now a lot of it. I
- 16:57Speaker 2: could tell I'm getting older based off my algorithm because
- 16:59Speaker 2: now mine is a lot of like home decor. I
- 17:02Speaker 2: literally I could see how people set up their house
- 17:05Speaker 2: and I sit there and I watch it. I'm like, damn,
- 17:07Speaker 2: that's nice. Nice, really, I like that backyard setup, you know,
- 17:10Speaker 2: And it goes on my vision board. I'm like, hmmm
- 17:13Speaker 2: one day, but it does again. It makes me question.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I'm like, god, man, what do these people do for
- 17:17Speaker 2: a living? Because that house is so nice to.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Come from generational wealth, I need some of that.
- 17:22Speaker 2: What I gotta get for my generation to get some
- 17:23Speaker 2: wealth down to me? God bless it. But it's like
- 17:26Speaker 2: it's either housing, it's my algorithm knows that I'm dating
- 17:31Speaker 2: someone who is Latina, so it's trying to teach me
- 17:34Speaker 2: Spanish and how to dance salsa.
- 17:36Speaker 3: And now it's teeth cleaning videos.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Wow, that's that is the smortgageborg. What is it? Shmortgage board?
- 17:42Speaker 1: Shmortgage board is a shmortgage board of content.
- 17:45Speaker 2: It keeps me very entertained. But there is something that
- 17:48Speaker 2: I posted on Instagram. I'm curious if you caught it yesterday, okay,
- 17:50Speaker 2: because I made a moment. I mean, we've talked about
- 17:53Speaker 2: it so many times on this podcast that I might
- 17:55Speaker 2: as well just talk about it here. For what I
- 17:57Speaker 2: posted on social for the first time in a long time,
- 18:00Speaker 2: did you catch my story yesterday.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I mean I might have seen it, but I don't
- 18:04Speaker 1: know that I clocked it.
- 18:05Speaker 3: I have officially soft launch my lady on my Instagram.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Where did you soft launch her?
- 18:12Speaker 2: So by the time you hear this, this is going
- 18:13Speaker 2: to be gone, which is kind of you're going to
- 18:15Speaker 2: delete it. No, it's going to be I mean it
- 18:17Speaker 2: only is up there for twenty four hours. So I
- 18:20Speaker 2: saw that she soft launched you, yes, And this is
- 18:23Speaker 2: actually like, I don't know if I've ever really done
- 18:25Speaker 2: this with the soft launch stuff, but I have so
- 18:27Speaker 2: much fun with it because what I see so fun.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I know. So like I saw her soft launch me
- 18:32Speaker 2: a couple of times and I was like, oh, that's
- 18:33Speaker 2: so I love it. I feel so honored. I was like,
- 18:37Speaker 2: oh my god, I'm the guy in your photo. That's
- 18:39Speaker 2: so cool.
- 18:40Speaker 1: This is your sofa. It's the beginning of it. It's
- 18:45Speaker 1: the beginning, Scott. This photo is so what's wrong with
- 18:49Speaker 1: that you posted a photo of the back of her
- 18:51Speaker 1: arm in her head.
- 18:53Speaker 3: If I just it would be a launch if I
- 18:55Speaker 3: showed her whole face.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Nothing about this screams soft launch to me.
- 19:00Speaker 3: It's like one of those things. It's the very beginning,
- 19:02Speaker 3: like if you know, you know.
- 19:03Speaker 1: The photo is him and her and her at the
- 19:06Speaker 1: Raise game, and.
- 19:07Speaker 2: He's like, what you just I'm leading her down the stairs,
- 19:10Speaker 2: but you can't tell.
- 19:11Speaker 1: It looks like you're walking. It looks like you're walking
- 19:12Speaker 1: in front of this random woman and she's standing behind
- 19:17Speaker 1: so she's more up close to the camera.
- 19:20Speaker 3: But it's just.
- 19:21Speaker 1: A photo of her shoulder, but not in like a sexy,
- 19:24Speaker 1: mysterious way, and like this photo was taken by accident.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Where is the photo that she posted a view? Because
- 19:32Speaker 1: I called her out. I was like, oh my god,
- 19:33Speaker 1: the soft launch. Let me find it.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I don't Oh, oh yeah, because you put it on
- 19:37Speaker 3: her actual feed. That's next.
- 19:39Speaker 2: But I don't have any like all my photos are
- 19:40Speaker 2: like it's either nothing or all. I don't have any
- 19:43Speaker 2: like creative, which I'll start taking more of, yeah, like
- 19:47Speaker 2: pictures of you know, soft launch stuff because it's fun
- 19:50Speaker 2: because now people are starting to be like.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Oh, it's like a whole pr rollout. No, no, no.
- 19:55Speaker 1: She posted several photos. There was one that was on
- 19:57Speaker 1: her story and it was also you guys at the
- 20:00Speaker 1: derby But then but wasn't it like okay, no, it
- 20:05Speaker 1: was also on her story. But yeah, she did soft
- 20:06Speaker 1: launch you on the feed.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Yeah, and I will okay, let me see the feed.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's a good one. See, I love it.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I get so giddy when that happens. But I don't
- 20:17Speaker 2: have any cute photos of like a soft launch of her.
- 20:19Speaker 2: I just literally have full pictures.
- 20:20Speaker 1: You have to planet. It's your whole pr rollout.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I know, but that's what this is, like the first
- 20:24Speaker 2: time I've ever done this, Like it's kind of exciting.
- 20:26Speaker 1: The best thing to do was just like when you
- 20:27Speaker 1: guys are holding hands, just take a photo of your
- 20:29Speaker 1: you holding hands, you know what.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Kind of led to it though, and I was like,
- 20:32Speaker 2: I noticed I need to do this because I posted
- 20:34Speaker 2: a post up and some of the comments were coming
- 20:38Speaker 2: in like kind of flirty, and I was like, ah ah,
- 20:41Speaker 2: I can't do that, no more of that.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I gotta shut it down. So I was like, it's time.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Are you worried you're gonna lose followers when you hard
- 20:46Speaker 1: launch her? Absolutely not no, because you just had a relationship.
- 20:49Speaker 2: So yeah, if you're following me just because of the
- 20:53Speaker 2: fact that you think I'm like available, that's kind of silly.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Like there's so many other things that are cool about
- 20:59Speaker 2: me beside my singleton. I mean, honestly, and I've told
- 21:02Speaker 2: her this, like, it's kind of fun. Usually in the past,
- 21:04Speaker 2: I've always been like, launch, here's the person, here's our
- 21:07Speaker 2: lives conjoined. I'm like, it's kind of fun, just like
- 21:09Speaker 2: the people that know no and when that time comes
- 21:12Speaker 2: to be like hello world, here we are sweet.
- 21:16Speaker 3: I mean, it is exciting. She will be at the
- 21:18Speaker 3: pool party.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Oh she will be Hm, is your ex coming?
- 21:20Speaker 2: No, not this time because they got a whole tournament
- 21:23Speaker 2: with like the sports that she's playing. But I think
- 21:25Speaker 2: we're gonna meet, Like she's gonna meet a group of
- 21:27Speaker 2: my friends on Saturday. We're gonna go to another pool
- 21:30Speaker 2: party with like a group of friends, and my ex
- 21:33Speaker 2: will be there. She'll be there, all good, but it'll
- 21:36Speaker 2: be so nice to like finally be able to introduce
- 21:38Speaker 2: her to some of the people in my life. I've
- 21:40Speaker 2: gotten to meet her friends, now she could meet some
- 21:42Speaker 2: of mine.
- 21:44Speaker 1: So it'll be nice.
- 21:45Speaker 2: So if you're listening to this and you are going
- 21:47Speaker 2: to the pool party, well, then surprise, you get to
- 21:49Speaker 2: be in on it.
- 21:50Speaker 1: That's so cute. I love that it's like a meet
- 21:52Speaker 1: and greet. That's exactly how lady.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody's not going to meet me, They're going to
- 21:58Speaker 2: meet her.
- 21:59Speaker 1: And then give him some tits on tits. I can't
- 22:03Speaker 1: talk today, and I think it's because the fluid has
- 22:04Speaker 1: moved from my sinuses to my ears, so I feel
- 22:07Speaker 1: like I can't hear myself sexy stuff. I know, you
- 22:10Speaker 1: guys need to tutor him on how to take good
- 22:12Speaker 1: soft launch photos. I know.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Well, I know, it's like I like to do the
- 22:14Speaker 2: ones that are super subtle, because she was really good
- 22:17Speaker 2: about it. It was like me at dinner and it's
- 22:19Speaker 2: just my chest and then the dish and I'm like, oh, classic,
- 22:22Speaker 2: so genius. Classic. But if I just do like a
- 22:24Speaker 2: holding hands but that's like so like okay that you
- 22:28Speaker 2: know what it is.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but so you know exactly when you see a
- 22:31Speaker 1: man across from you at a restaurant, you know that's
- 22:33Speaker 1: also exactly.
- 22:35Speaker 3: What it is.
- 22:35Speaker 2: I know, but I don't feel the same. Not many
- 22:37Speaker 2: dudes don't do a soft launch. I don't think of
- 22:40Speaker 2: I know any guys that have done so, as just.
- 22:42Speaker 1: To do the handshake thing, the holding hands.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Thing, the holding hands of like just take.
- 22:46Speaker 1: A photo of you guys holding hands. Mmmm, it seems
- 22:49Speaker 1: corny's soft launching. Is corny? Being in our relationship is corny? No,
- 22:53Speaker 1: embrace it.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I do embrace it. That's why I do all the
- 22:56Speaker 2: weird things that I do. So holding hands, what's another one?
- 22:58Speaker 2: I think the dinner he one's good.
- 23:01Speaker 1: You could do like you're, oh, this would be sexy.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Oh if you're sitting next to her, and if you
- 23:06Speaker 1: ever have like your hand on her thigh. No, it
- 23:10Speaker 1: doesn't mean to be weird. It could just be like
- 23:11Speaker 1: maybe her hand is over your hand and you know,
- 23:14Speaker 1: you're like grabbing onto her leg and she's like grabbing
- 23:16Speaker 1: on your hand.
- 23:17Speaker 3: I like that.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I know it's que's hell. I thought about this. I
- 23:22Speaker 1: can't wait to have my own pr role out. I
- 23:24Speaker 1: don't want a boyfriend. I just want to just want
- 23:26Speaker 1: some social media.
- 23:28Speaker 2: But okay, so like I don't want to be the
- 23:30Speaker 2: one that I like when she takes it though, like
- 23:32Speaker 2: she has to take that photo.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I'm like literally taking notes right now. Did she take
- 23:35Speaker 1: that photo of her shoulder? No, that was a friend.
- 23:38Speaker 2: But I didn't have anything else, Like I was gonna
- 23:40Speaker 2: do one where we were actually taking the photo in
- 23:42Speaker 2: front of the raised like field and she was turned
- 23:46Speaker 2: and I was like looking at her and of course amazement.
- 23:49Speaker 2: And I was gonna do that one originally, but I
- 23:51Speaker 2: thought that was too forward.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Let me see, hold up.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Of what Okay, let me see what photo I was gonna.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Post, because your other the one that you said is
- 23:58Speaker 1: a soft launch was so that's all. I didn't even notice.
- 24:01Speaker 1: That's the goal. The goal is to be No, you
- 24:04Speaker 1: got to notice a little bit. Okay, that's the whole point.
- 24:06Speaker 3: You got to get people.
- 24:08Speaker 1: It's provocative.
- 24:10Speaker 3: It's going to be piece by piece though in time.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Oh you're going to learn this in episode two from
- 24:14Speaker 1: Garrett Graham on off campus what is cheez Okay, he'll
- 24:20Speaker 1: teach you how to soft launch's other things too. Oh
- 24:24Speaker 1: my god, I'm already learning that from Ah.
- 24:26Speaker 3: There you go. There's the photo.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Garrett Graham, the fictional man that you are.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Here's the photo I'm showing Abbey right now. Let's see
- 24:32Speaker 2: I'm so cute.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Oh no, this is like, that's a little bit more
- 24:35Speaker 1: than a soft launch.
- 24:36Speaker 2: That's what I was saying. So it was either that
- 24:38Speaker 2: or the shoulder. It's just the piece, you know.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it would have been this is sweet.
- 24:45Speaker 2: It's just the show, you know, it's just the show
- 24:46Speaker 2: that Hey, there is somebody in my life and.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You could do you could do what parents do when
- 24:52Speaker 1: they don't want to show up their babies, and you
- 24:54Speaker 1: just put the emoji over it.
- 24:55Speaker 3: I am not putting emoji over.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Her face, yellow heart over her face? Hi, who she is?
- 25:01Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of what's coming up that could
- 25:03Speaker 2: be worthy of it. I think there's opportunities at the
- 25:06Speaker 2: pool party. I think that would be a good time
- 25:08Speaker 2: for it.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I just got a photover he ass. The way
- 25:11Speaker 1: people will know would be cause that Scotty, Hey, when
- 25:14Speaker 1: you get so volumptuous.
- 25:15Speaker 2: It will be a picture of her hand on my ass.
- 25:17Speaker 2: But I've officially soft launched.
- 25:20Speaker 1: So very exciting and I love this for you.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Thank you, thank you very much.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Name Scott. And I'm in a relationship. Everyone loves me.
- 25:27Speaker 2: You know. If you would have just deleted the comment
- 25:28Speaker 2: and never told me that she messaged you, none of
- 25:31Speaker 2: this would be happening.
- 25:32Speaker 1: See, you're welcome.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I am thankful.
- 25:34Speaker 1: No, because your friends would have set you up with her, I.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Would think, but he had two months before that would happened.
- 25:38Speaker 2: So true, So It's like all of that's got to
- 25:41Speaker 2: happen the way I was supposed to.
- 25:42Speaker 1: You just look at me every day and go wound.
- 25:43Speaker 1: She's the reason that I have loved in my life.
- 25:49Speaker 2: I literally I go to the bosses and I'm like,
- 25:50Speaker 2: give Abby a raise right now.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Every month you guys are together, I get an extra
- 25:54Speaker 1: hundred dollars. Honestly, not a bad idea. It's like an
- 25:56Speaker 1: endorsement I have.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Oh God, here we go.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Oh Jesus, Okay, all right, all right, sorry I couldn't
- 26:06Speaker 1: the fluid was getting in my ears. How long is it?
- 26:09Speaker 3: Have you even gone to the doctor for the second Yes.
- 26:11Speaker 1: I literally woke up hungover his hell on Sunday I
- 26:13Speaker 1: said I can't. Who literally woke up in seven am
- 26:15Speaker 1: and I was like, I can't do another day of
- 26:16Speaker 1: this until you went. And so I did telehealth and
- 26:19Speaker 1: they were like, yeah, there's nothing we can do. That'll
- 26:22Speaker 1: be seventy dollars.
- 26:23Speaker 3: That's the biggest BSh.
- 26:25Speaker 1: No. I hate this country. I thought my corporate health
- 26:28Speaker 1: insurance was supposed to help this. I just don't under like.
- 26:31Speaker 2: The telehealth stuff is so ridiculous because I'm like, you
- 26:34Speaker 2: sit through all of that and they just tell and
- 26:36Speaker 2: all they do is just tell you, like go pick
- 26:38Speaker 2: up a pill, like that's it.
- 26:40Speaker 1: But I mean, I love that. But they didn't give
- 26:41Speaker 1: any pills. They didn't give you anything. They sent some
- 26:43Speaker 1: kind of prescription to the pharmacy, which maybe I'll pick
- 26:45Speaker 1: up today because they charged me for something. They charged
- 26:48Speaker 1: me thirty dollars and then they charged me seventy dollars
- 26:50Speaker 1: for something else. I'm like, was that for the prescription?
- 26:52Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go buy the pharmacy and see what
- 26:55Speaker 1: what's up.
- 26:55Speaker 3: You're probably gonna have to pay when you get to
- 26:57Speaker 3: the pharmacy.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm like, no, what was it seventy dollars
- 26:59Speaker 1: for the check cup the doc? I know it was
- 27:01Speaker 1: thirty dollars, so this this okay?
- 27:04Speaker 3: Then the seventi is the prescription.
- 27:05Speaker 1: So that's what I'm wondering. So I don't want to
- 27:07Speaker 1: like let it go away since I still have some
- 27:08Speaker 1: gunk happening.
- 27:10Speaker 2: I would take that before it's Sunday, before you're around
- 27:12Speaker 2: a bunch of people.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I've felt astronomically better in the every single day since
- 27:18Speaker 1: the Bachelot. The Bachelotte was brutal.
- 27:20Speaker 2: What I feel so gross for And I wonder if
- 27:22Speaker 2: this happened you have the Bachelor threat? Were you guys
- 27:24Speaker 2: like sharing drinks?
- 27:26Speaker 1: No, see a thing about me? A thing you should
- 27:28Speaker 1: know about me? I hate sharing drinks.
- 27:30Speaker 3: I think I'm getting to that point.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Yeah. So I I was sick when when I got
- 27:35Speaker 1: to the Bachelorette, but it was like the early stages,
- 27:37Speaker 1: Like I started feeling a little weird on Wednesday, and
- 27:39Speaker 1: then started feeling a little weird on Thursday, and then
- 27:42Speaker 1: Friday I woke up and I was like, ooh yeah,
- 27:46Speaker 1: so it was definitely a pre existing condition. Yeah.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I think that's one of the things that grosses me
- 27:50Speaker 2: out the most right now in this chapter where I'm like,
- 27:52Speaker 2: everyone like passes around a cup and we sit from it.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I it. And you know what I hate about being
- 27:58Speaker 1: a lady is this isn't like a specifical lay from,
- 28:02Speaker 1: but like women will take offense to it. So like
- 28:04Speaker 1: if you're sitting at brunch and someone will like literally
- 28:06Speaker 1: force you to take a drink. They'll be like, oh
- 28:08Speaker 1: my god, try my drink, and then it's so awkward
- 28:10Speaker 1: to be like no, because then you look like abusel
- 28:13Speaker 1: big total bitch it freak it scares me.
- 28:15Speaker 2: It's actually not even the sick part. What scares me
- 28:17Speaker 2: is like somebody's like if I don't know, it's different,
- 28:20Speaker 2: Like if I have a close group of friends and
- 28:22Speaker 2: I know, like everyone's maybe this is too much TMI,
- 28:25Speaker 2: but everyone's like sexual health is like on par I'm like, okay, fine.
- 28:31Speaker 2: What scares me though, is like, oh, if you're letting
- 28:33Speaker 2: everybody take a sip and you don't know who Jimmy
- 28:36Speaker 2: just kissed before.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I'm glad that somebody else feels that way, because I
- 28:39Speaker 1: always thought it was so weird when people would be like,
- 28:41Speaker 1: why don't you want to share a drink? Well, hey,
- 28:42Speaker 1: I don't want to get sick. Yeah, I'm like what
- 28:44Speaker 1: if you're you know, you might have been sick a
- 28:45Speaker 1: week ago or you find now.
- 28:47Speaker 2: I had a friend and then like, okay, I'm glad.
- 28:49Speaker 2: I'm not gonna I'm gonna save space saying this, but
- 28:51Speaker 2: I had I bought a big old thing of like
- 28:53Speaker 2: vaseline to like put on my lips, and then I
- 28:57Speaker 2: had a friend that used some of it, and I
- 28:59Speaker 2: was like, what.
- 29:00Speaker 1: The did you? Oh yeah, I'm throwing it away.
- 29:03Speaker 2: I think I have to as well, because I was like,
- 29:05Speaker 2: I feel weird now every time, Like I usually I'm
- 29:08Speaker 2: going around the sides of the vasseline now on the
- 29:10Speaker 2: edges because I'm like, I don't want to touch the
- 29:12Speaker 2: same spot that you touched.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Dude, it's like three dollars, That's what I'm saying. Just
- 29:15Speaker 1: just go get another tub of ass. I know.
- 29:17Speaker 2: It just sucks because it's like brand new. No, and
- 29:19Speaker 2: I'm like, why did you take my thing? No?
- 29:21Speaker 1: No, it's so gross. I literally hate that.
- 29:23Speaker 2: That's it okay, because I thought I was kind of
- 29:25Speaker 2: weird for it or overreacting.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Yeah, and you don't know what other viruses people.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Got, That's what I'm saying. So it's like it's one
- 29:30Speaker 2: thing to get sick. I had a buddy yesterday that's like, oh,
- 29:32Speaker 2: do can I get a sip your coffee. I's like,
- 29:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna be honest. No, He's like why not. I
- 29:36Speaker 2: was like, I don't know. I don't want to get sick.
- 29:38Speaker 2: He's like, I'm not sick.
- 29:39Speaker 1: I will want, but you don't know, because I mean,
- 29:41Speaker 1: you could have maybe gotten something for me that you
- 29:43Speaker 1: don't know you have.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Thank Sabby.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Well, I mean I don't think you I've been I
- 29:47Speaker 1: feel like I'm very conscientious when I'm sick because you're
- 29:50Speaker 1: especially when you're stuck in the airtight studio. If I
- 29:52Speaker 1: was hacking up along, n I just say home, but
- 29:54Speaker 1: like we should probably put a wall. I'm kind of
- 29:56Speaker 1: contained over here. Yeah.
- 29:57Speaker 2: No, it freaks me out now, like especially going to bars,
- 29:59Speaker 2: and it's like I don't mind trying someone's drink as
- 30:02Speaker 2: long as I really really know them, but as soon
- 30:05Speaker 2: as it gets out of that immediate circle, I'm like,
- 30:08Speaker 2: my eyes go sideways.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I don't even like doing my family, Like if my
- 30:11Speaker 1: mom's like you want to say, maybe my mom, but
- 30:13Speaker 1: if like I don't know, like my dad or my brother, No,
- 30:16Speaker 1: I don't know. Sometimes not even my mom. I'm like,
- 30:18Speaker 1: I don't know that I should be sharing drinks with you.
- 30:20Speaker 2: No, I think it's best to just you know what,
- 30:22Speaker 2: what does straw.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Make a difference?
- 30:24Speaker 3: Does that?
- 30:24Speaker 1: Do it happen for It's it's the liquid, Like I
- 30:26Speaker 1: don't know what's floating around the liquid backwash, I know.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Oh god, yeah that's discussed.
- 30:30Speaker 1: But I've gotten better, I will say, as I've gotten older,
- 30:32Speaker 1: I literally just go, I don't share drinks.
- 30:34Speaker 3: If you had a boyfriend, would you share drink with him?
- 30:36Speaker 1: Well, yeh, because I mean you're making out that that
- 30:38Speaker 1: that point, that's dumb.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Okay, that's true.
- 30:39Speaker 1: You have your tongue down my throat. But oh I
- 30:42Speaker 1: draw the line in Margarita's that's crazy.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Well, I mean it's personal preference. I mean if you
- 30:48Speaker 2: see like some people would be grossed out of that.
- 30:49Speaker 2: It like you get the lip mark on the cup
- 30:51Speaker 2: and then you take a sip and it's like, oh,
- 30:53Speaker 2: I don't want to do that.
- 30:54Speaker 3: But if you're swapping spit with somebody, do.
- 30:57Speaker 1: You have a problem sharing drinks with your lady?
- 30:59Speaker 3: Absolutely?
- 31:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't even go no, not at all, Not
- 31:03Speaker 2: at all. I am not grossed out by no. But okay,
- 31:07Speaker 2: if we're in a relationship, I know some people have
- 31:08Speaker 2: problems with like sharing food on like with your plate,
- 31:12Speaker 2: somebody reaching over and grabbing food from your plate?
- 31:15Speaker 1: Would that bother you without permission? Yeah, that's that's nick.
- 31:19Speaker 1: You're just like grabbing a fry, Like yes, if I
- 31:21Speaker 1: don't know you like that, why are you taking my food?
- 31:23Speaker 2: Okay, so if you do know like that, they can
- 31:25Speaker 2: just grab your food or is it always permission?
- 31:26Speaker 1: If it depends how close we are. It's an intimacy thing.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Oh you know, Like if we're close friends, go for
- 31:31Speaker 1: it whatever, I don't care. But if like it's a
- 31:34Speaker 1: casual group of ladies and bratt brunch and some girl
- 31:36Speaker 1: named Sarah leans over and grabs my.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Fry, like, no, can't just take a little?
- 31:40Speaker 1: You have that's permission, just a little.
- 31:42Speaker 3: But like if I just snuck in and I stole
- 31:43Speaker 3: one of your yogurts.
- 31:45Speaker 1: If you still want my yogurts, to be pissed, because
- 31:47Speaker 1: then I'm not going to reach my protein goal.
- 31:50Speaker 3: I mean sometimes I need some too.
- 31:52Speaker 1: That's on you. You're a grown man, I am.
- 31:54Speaker 3: That's why I have been.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I got Abby a whole bunch of yogurt for a birthday,
- 31:57Speaker 2: and she wasn't eating any, so I decided to just
- 31:58Speaker 2: go ahead and start taking it.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I just forgot that they were in there.
- 32:01Speaker 2: That was the greatest thing ever though, because I was like,
- 32:03Speaker 2: I got on the kick.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Now now I'm on the kick.
- 32:05Speaker 1: You get it.
- 32:06Speaker 3: I do get it. But they are freaking expensive.
- 32:09Speaker 1: That's why you have to go to certain public says
- 32:10Speaker 1: to find the bogos.
- 32:12Speaker 2: But shouldn't they all be on bogo at the same time,
- 32:14Speaker 2: that's annoying. I know, that's really annoying.
- 32:17Speaker 1: That they've been on Bogo recently, which is a lifesaver
- 32:19Speaker 1: for me. Mmm.
- 32:21Speaker 3: I was trying to think of what I just got.
- 32:22Speaker 2: I had a sweet treat kind of fathom because I
- 32:24Speaker 2: go through phases where I will get all the food
- 32:29Speaker 2: out of my house that I know will do me
- 32:31Speaker 2: no good and if I have it in the house,
- 32:33Speaker 2: I will devour it.
- 32:35Speaker 3: And I saw it the other day and it wasn't bad.
- 32:37Speaker 2: But like, there's these sweet potato chips because I was
- 32:40Speaker 2: telling an abby like because of the FIFA World Cup,
- 32:42Speaker 2: there's Lais released like forty different flavors of potato chips
- 32:47Speaker 2: to like go with the countries that are in the
- 32:48Speaker 2: World Cup, and so they're fantastic. I tried them on
- 32:51Speaker 2: Florida for Real, the little TV show that I'm on,
- 32:54Speaker 2: and I was like, I got that craving and that
- 32:56Speaker 2: itch where I was like, oh, he's back that monster
- 33:00Speaker 2: inside that really loves to eat some junk food. And
- 33:03Speaker 2: so as I went to the store, I was about
- 33:05Speaker 2: to grab a bag and I was like, oh, thank god,
- 33:07Speaker 2: they got the sweet potato chips here.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Yeah, And I looked at the back. I was like, Okay,
- 33:10Speaker 3: they're not that bad.
- 33:11Speaker 2: You know. You get a whole bag and it's like
- 33:13Speaker 2: I had total four hundred calories.
- 33:15Speaker 3: I ate the entire bag in one setting.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Fatty, fatty, fatty. I devoured it just to get you
- 33:19Speaker 1: on th book. No, this episode is sponsored by but
- 33:25Speaker 1: I love it.
- 33:25Speaker 3: And then it just kind of led me. Then I
- 33:26Speaker 3: got a little treat. I got some.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Sour Patch kids and some kit Kats. Yeah, and I
- 33:32Speaker 2: think when I commit, I just go all in. And actually,
- 33:34Speaker 2: one of the things that you've taught me, AB is
- 33:35Speaker 2: how to just have like a a little bit and
- 33:38Speaker 2: take a step back.
- 33:39Speaker 3: That lesson went out the door.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Yesterday I got a micro dose.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I couldn't micro dose because once I get the taste,
- 33:43Speaker 2: I'm like, well, I might as well just commit.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Let's just make it a Tuesday's problem.
- 33:47Speaker 1: That's the same thought process that got me into a
- 33:50Speaker 1: binge eating disorder. Though.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Oh but like if I do it once, well, I
- 33:53Speaker 3: guess that would be bad too.
- 33:54Speaker 1: I mean, you can call it a cheat day, but
- 33:56Speaker 1: is it sorry I just accidentally hit thought. You can
- 33:58Speaker 1: call it a cheat day, but I mean, I'm it
- 34:01Speaker 1: could be considered binging.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think it's the healthiest thing.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Yeah, to just say, you know what, fit, I'm gonna
- 34:06Speaker 2: throw out the entire day and just go hard on this.
- 34:08Speaker 3: But I did, like, I loved it.
- 34:10Speaker 1: You're still in shape, You're still a healthy guy. I
- 34:12Speaker 1: think you're fine.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Thank you, thank you.
- 34:14Speaker 1: As long as it's not rooting your quality of life,
- 34:16Speaker 1: I think you're probably in the clear. No, I don't.
- 34:18Speaker 2: I think back in the day, I used to feel guilty,
- 34:20Speaker 2: and I don't know if I really felt guilty yesterday.
- 34:22Speaker 2: But like, after I ate the entire king sized kit Cat,
- 34:25Speaker 2: I went and I like walked like six laps around
- 34:27Speaker 2: like this mile track by our house.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Okay, while getting like I felt like it was.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Balance And I was about to make a post about this,
- 34:32Speaker 2: but I was like, ah, nobody needs Yeah. Yeah, like
- 34:35Speaker 2: I ate an entire king size and now I gotta
- 34:37Speaker 2: walk Like, No, I don't think they're correlated.
- 34:38Speaker 1: No, you know when your body needs something, and if
- 34:40Speaker 1: you felt like your body was like give me a
- 34:42Speaker 1: kit cat, then take the kit cat. Yeah, it was
- 34:44Speaker 1: like a nice little sweet treat.
- 34:46Speaker 2: It was a divulge, like let me get this all
- 34:48Speaker 2: in and then I had to go walk because I
- 34:51Speaker 2: wanted to, because it made me feel better. I don't
- 34:53Speaker 2: want to lay in bed and have all that kit
- 34:54Speaker 2: Cat in me. Yeah yeah, and it was worth every bit.
- 34:57Speaker 2: But there is and I've talked about this before, like
- 34:58Speaker 2: there's a little bit of pressure and this is so dumb,
- 35:01Speaker 2: but I say this because it's just honest of like
- 35:04Speaker 2: Sunday with the pool party.
- 35:05Speaker 3: I can think about those things.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I've thought about it.
- 35:07Speaker 2: I think about it all the time, and I'm like,
- 35:10Speaker 2: I think it's only because there's like little voices in
- 35:12Speaker 2: my head. When I was first getting into radio, there's
- 35:14Speaker 2: like some it was a whole nickname of Scotty the Body.
- 35:16Speaker 2: It's the whole thing, and I love it. I love
- 35:18Speaker 2: the name. But people do joke with me. They're like,
- 35:20Speaker 2: did it bring pressure? I was like absolutely, because people
- 35:23Speaker 2: would see me out in the street and they're like, well,
- 35:24Speaker 2: show me the body.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Well, I mean you were Scotty the Body. I know
- 35:28Speaker 1: you weren't Scotty the ripped body. And that's what I'm saying.
- 35:31Speaker 1: It could have been any form uh huh. You could
- 35:32Speaker 1: have had anybody.
- 35:33Speaker 2: But it did mess me up a couple times because
- 35:35Speaker 2: people would be like, I don't even know why they
- 35:37Speaker 2: call you that?
- 35:39Speaker 1: What?
- 35:39Speaker 2: Yeah, And my brain would go, I told you you
- 35:44Speaker 2: weren't shit.
- 35:46Speaker 1: No, it didn't motivate you. It did.
- 35:49Speaker 3: But then life also happens yea.
- 35:51Speaker 2: So it's like life will come in and I'll go
- 35:53Speaker 2: through a phase where I'm like, ooh, not my best,
- 35:56Speaker 2: you know, and that's what somebody will say it, and
- 35:57Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god, I gotta get back on.
- 36:00Speaker 2: And so that literally runs through my head as we're
- 36:02Speaker 2: getting ready for this pool party on Sunday, I'm like,
- 36:05Speaker 2: am I at the standard that I need to be?
- 36:07Speaker 3: Am?
- 36:07Speaker 2: I doing everything I can to look as good as
- 36:09Speaker 2: I can, And I'm like, that voice is very annoying.
- 36:12Speaker 1: It's so annoying.
- 36:13Speaker 2: That's why, like Sunday you'll probably see me like a
- 36:14Speaker 2: button down, like I feel fine in my body.
- 36:16Speaker 1: I feel fine.
- 36:17Speaker 2: I know, it's just I think it's just that little
- 36:18Speaker 2: side that I'm like, you know what, let's not even
- 36:21Speaker 2: deal with it.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Let's get a nice button down.
- 36:23Speaker 2: That's fiesta and it's fun and it doesn't make me
- 36:27Speaker 2: think is somebody judging me right now? No?
- 36:29Speaker 1: I mean everybody else is judging themselves, especially when everyone's
- 36:32Speaker 1: half naked. The only person we're thinking about it is oh,
- 36:35Speaker 1: I hope I like, Okay, isn't that suck?
- 36:37Speaker 2: Though? Like if we're all thinking that, like we're literally
- 36:41Speaker 2: all kind of taking away a little bit of our
- 36:42Speaker 2: joy in those moments where we're like, I could just
- 36:45Speaker 2: be an enjoying today Instead, I'm too worried about how
- 36:47Speaker 2: I look. And I say that as somebody that occasionally
- 36:50Speaker 2: has those thoughts, like on Sunday, I will occasionally have
- 36:53Speaker 2: those thoughts depending on what I do from now to Sunday.
- 36:56Speaker 2: And if I, you know, stay on track, I'll feel great.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:00Speaker 3: If I don't, I won't, So that sucks.
- 37:02Speaker 2: And I hope anybody that comes out, I think I
- 37:04Speaker 2: want it to be that experience where everyone could be like,
- 37:07Speaker 2: I'm comfortable in my own skin with good people around,
- 37:10Speaker 2: and I think everyone there, I think it's gonna be fun.
- 37:12Speaker 2: As we're getting in names and everything, people are coming
- 37:15Speaker 2: from all walks of life, literally all different parts of
- 37:18Speaker 2: Tampa Bay, you know, from twenty one year olds to
- 37:21Speaker 2: maybe even sixty one seventy.
- 37:22Speaker 3: One year olds. Oh, it's gonna be a variety.
- 37:26Speaker 2: But I hope that all to say that I hope
- 37:28Speaker 2: it brings a safe space so everyone could just feel comfortable,
- 37:31Speaker 2: rock your bathing suit, have a good time. But I
- 37:35Speaker 2: stand with you if you're like, I'm feeling self conscious
- 37:39Speaker 2: literally same.
- 37:40Speaker 3: But I'm glad you said that because everyone feels that same.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, well, it's a safe space when coronasm all,
- 37:44Speaker 1: everyone's gonna be too drunk to be judging everybody.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Do you think there are gonna be any like crazy
- 37:49Speaker 2: drunk stories that we come back from this event?
- 37:52Speaker 1: Kind of hopes not well from us.
- 37:54Speaker 2: I will say every time that we have gone out,
- 37:58Speaker 2: some interest ish has gone down in a good way,
- 38:02Speaker 2: interesting in a good way.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Like the story has always gone into a fun way.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Whether it was like your birthday with karaoke and taking
- 38:09Speaker 2: an entire sales staff out to go have a good time.
- 38:11Speaker 2: That was leading to good night, John Boy, and having
- 38:14Speaker 2: a good time dancing there, our time with your mom
- 38:17Speaker 2: when we went out downtown, Yeah, dancing around Welcome.
- 38:19Speaker 3: To the Farm until three am, and then your.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Crazy stories with your friend that came into town and
- 38:25Speaker 2: you had your own little situation Like I wonder because
- 38:28Speaker 2: the problem is it's on a Sunday. The next day
- 38:31Speaker 2: we do have to work. I wonder how that plays out.
