- 0:56Speaker 3: Woo, woo. Heather MacDonald. Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to
- 1:02Speaker 3: Juicy Scoop. Well, I have a great interview with Sheena Shea.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I have read the book. We had a great conversation.
- 1:10Speaker 3: She reveals a lot of things that even if you
- 1:14Speaker 3: were a fan of Vanderpump, but maybe you just want
- 1:17Speaker 3: to know about reality TV, her situation with finding out
- 1:20Speaker 3: that Her husband cheated on her a couple of years prior.
- 1:24Speaker 3: All of it we get into. I ask the tough questions.
- 1:26Speaker 3: I ask her if she has heard the criticism that
- 1:30Speaker 3: she's been receiving since coming out with this information in
- 1:33Speaker 3: her book. So we get into it. But first, I've
- 1:36Speaker 3: got to talk about some of the hottest topics that
- 1:39Speaker 3: have come out since the last Juicy Scoop. Well, of course,
- 1:43Speaker 3: we all saw the viral video of the Coldplay concert
- 1:48Speaker 3: where the CEO of a billion-dollar company called Astronomer was
- 1:53Speaker 3: seen wrapping his arms just under his employees' tits, who
- 1:59Speaker 3: was— they were both similar age, probably like late 40s. She
- 2:03Speaker 3: is the HR executive at this company called Astronomer. And
- 2:08Speaker 3: the cam got them, and they see— themselves on it
- 2:13Speaker 3: and they immediately break apart, shut down. And Chris Martin
- 2:18Speaker 3: is like, either, you know, you're having an affair or whatever.
- 2:22Speaker 3: So the whole thing went viral. You know what I'm
- 2:24Speaker 3: talking about. So the first thing I thought was, wow, God,
- 2:28Speaker 3: they really look happy. They really look like a couple
- 2:32Speaker 3: that is into each other. And sadly, there will be
- 2:37Speaker 3: times when I've been married for so long that I
- 2:40Speaker 3: would see a couple my age like way too into
- 2:43Speaker 3: each other. And I would run to a fellow mom
- 2:46Speaker 3: at the school and say, please tell me that she
- 2:50Speaker 3: is divorced and that's her boyfriend. Because if this is
- 2:52Speaker 3: her husband of 20 years and they're that handsy into
- 2:55Speaker 3: each other, I'm going to be depressed. Well, of course,
- 2:59Speaker 3: it's an affair. Now, what's really juicy is that she
- 3:04Speaker 3: was married with kids. It's her second marriage. Okay, so
- 3:09Speaker 3: she's already got two guys to get on their knee
- 3:11Speaker 3: and say, marry me. The second one comes from an
- 3:14Speaker 3: extremely wealthy family for like the last couple hundred years. They're, well,
- 3:20Speaker 3: they're just the family she married to, is married to,
- 3:23Speaker 3: is worth like a billion dollars. Yet she still has
- 3:26Speaker 3: this executive job at the HR company. So many people think,
- 3:29Speaker 3: was she already having an affair with this guy and
- 3:32Speaker 3: he hired her as the HR exec So that they
- 3:35Speaker 3: could see each other and, you know, have fun. While
- 3:39Speaker 3: he stayed married, his wife has a Facebook account. Right
- 3:44Speaker 3: when this came out, she removed her married name and
- 3:48Speaker 3: changed it to her maiden name. According to the Facebook photos,
- 3:52Speaker 3: you know, page six has picked them up. They've covered
- 3:55Speaker 3: the two kids' faces. They look like they're, you know,
- 3:58Speaker 3: college age kids. So they've been married a long time.
- 4:02Speaker 3: And there was a false report of the guy who
- 4:07Speaker 3: got caught for cheating right away making a statement saying
- 4:10Speaker 3: that he feels that his privacy has been violated by
- 4:14Speaker 3: the Coldplay cameraman and that he doesn't want to be
- 4:19Speaker 3: seen like this, but he also feels violated. That story
- 4:22Speaker 3: went viral. However, that was fake. So, you know, there
- 4:26Speaker 3: is a lot of fake news out there. There's a
- 4:28Speaker 3: lot of people that can put out a story on
- 4:31Speaker 3: social media that make it look like it's a legit
- 4:34Speaker 3: story that they're just recapping or whatever. So it's, you know,
- 4:38Speaker 3: several people did it. I did not though, because I
- 4:41Speaker 3: wasn't recording that day. But however, he has stepped down.
- 4:44Speaker 3: There is a new CEO who says, we're going to
- 4:47Speaker 3: be bigger and better. You know, we're going to get
- 4:49Speaker 3: past this. Of course, she's no longer working there. But
- 4:52Speaker 3: all I could think about is, This cheating woman, married twice,
- 4:59Speaker 3: has it so good. She's got this cushy job. She
- 5:02Speaker 3: gets to F her boss, who's also like pretty cute,
- 5:07Speaker 3: go to Coldplay concerts. She has an ex-husband and a
- 5:11Speaker 3: better second husband who comes from a super rich family.
- 5:14Speaker 3: I mean, what, again, the Venus flytrap vagina. I want
- 5:19Speaker 3: to know what your secret is. How do you get
- 5:21Speaker 3: these dudes? You look kind of average, which is great.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Maybe the vag is that good. Maybe the brain is
- 5:29Speaker 3: that enticing. I don't know. I'm always, I mean, I'm
- 5:34Speaker 3: always just really fascinated about these type of people. The
- 5:37Speaker 3: other people I feel sorry for are the people that
- 5:39Speaker 3: were working with these cheating losers who were like, what
- 5:43Speaker 3: if they did have a problem with maybe somebody else
- 5:46Speaker 3: harassing them or any problem at the company? You think
- 5:49Speaker 3: you want to go to the CEO's mistress who's head
- 5:53Speaker 3: of HR and be like, um, hi, I really want
- 5:56Speaker 3: to talk. Like, you think she's going to be protecting you? No. Well,
- 6:01Speaker 3: she's like boning the CEO. She's going to be like,
- 6:03Speaker 3: we got to get rid of Jennifer. She's really not happy.
- 6:07Speaker 3: And like, So that's what's a bummer. Because I know
- 6:10Speaker 3: there's some really great HR people in this world, and
- 6:13Speaker 3: I think it's a valid career. But this just goes
- 6:17Speaker 3: to show you, like, you can't trust anybody in the
- 6:20Speaker 3: corporate world. And then the other girl that was there
- 6:23Speaker 3: who clearly, like, worked with them, and she's smiling when
- 6:26Speaker 3: they get caught. And you could tell there's probably, like,
- 6:29Speaker 3: this moment of relief. Like, I've been keeping this gross
- 6:32Speaker 3: secret of these two entitled– assholes for, you know, a
- 6:37Speaker 3: year and I have to act like I'm excited just
- 6:39Speaker 3: because they're giving me a free Coldplay ticket. And the arrogance,
- 6:43Speaker 3: like you're having an affair and you're going to a
- 6:46Speaker 3: big public concert, not just if you're on the screen.
- 6:49Speaker 3: How is it that you didn't think you'd run into
- 6:51Speaker 3: like another mom, like getting a drink or that someone
- 6:55Speaker 3: that you know wouldn't be seated next to you? It's just,
- 6:58Speaker 3: that is why the story is fascinating. Also, everyone loves
- 7:02Speaker 3: a cheating story. They love it. They even said that
- 7:04Speaker 3: Pornhub views of cheating like porn and people having affairs
- 7:08Speaker 3: skyrocketed over the weekends. People are like, this is some
- 7:11Speaker 3: hot shit. It is personally my favorite genre of film
- 7:14Speaker 3: and television is infidelity and affairs between– middle class to
- 7:21Speaker 3: upper wealthy people. That's what I like to watch. That's
- 7:24Speaker 3: what I love. Unfaithful, fatal attraction, anything where someone has
- 7:29Speaker 3: a great, perfect life and a pretty good wife and
- 7:32Speaker 3: they just throw it all away because some new chick
- 7:35Speaker 3: gives you a little of attention or vice versa. So
- 7:40Speaker 3: story's going to probably die now this week.

- 8:15Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 8:18Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 8:21Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 8:25Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 8:31Speaker 3: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 8:34Speaker 3: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 8:36Speaker 3: be taken from you, what would you do if it
- 8:38Speaker 3: was given back?
- 8:39Speaker 6: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 8:42Speaker 6: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 8:44Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 8:46Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 8:47Speaker 6: What happens next?
- 8:48Speaker 2: When I came in, he started crying.
- 8:49Speaker 6: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 8:54Speaker 6: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 8:57Speaker 6: happens next.
- 8:58Speaker 3: I decided to risk it all.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work. Listen, Dara,
- 9:03Speaker 2: I'm not going to pull punches.
- 9:04Speaker 3: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 9:06Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 9:20Speaker 3: Meanwhile, Katy Perry was on her like flying whatever unicorn
- 9:25Speaker 3: across just kind of like Beyonce has that car. She's
- 9:29Speaker 3: like on a flying bird or whatever. And it almost fell.
- 9:34Speaker 3: And people are like, you know what? Why don't we
- 9:37Speaker 3: stop with the people, the artists flying over us on
- 9:40Speaker 3: things that could fall, hurt the audience or hurt the artists?
- 9:45Speaker 3: And just go back to like singing on stage and
- 9:48Speaker 3: maybe don't charge us $ 1, 500 a ticket. Ever think of that? Okay.
- 9:53Speaker 3: So that happened. Also, let's talk about Denise Richards. So
- 9:59Speaker 3: Denise Richards. husband, as I reported, filed for divorce last
- 10:03Speaker 3: week and said the date of separation was July 4th
- 10:08Speaker 3: and that he has no income and that she makes $ 250, 000
- 10:11Speaker 3: a month doing OnlyFans and television and brand deals. And therefore...
- 10:18Speaker 3: He needs half of that a month to survive because
- 10:21Speaker 3: he needs to live in the lifestyle that she's made
- 10:23Speaker 3: accustomed to living to in these last six years. He
- 10:27Speaker 3: said he has no income. We saw on Real Housewives
- 10:30Speaker 3: of Beverly Hills that he's some weird energy healer or whatever.
- 10:34Speaker 3: If you remember the show, he also sat at a
- 10:37Speaker 3: very awkward dinner with everybody talking about how cars are
- 10:40Speaker 3: following them and that with your mind you can cure
- 10:43Speaker 3: cancer and all this crazy stuff. That the only one
- 10:47Speaker 3: that was agreeing to it was Mauricio, who was probably
- 10:51Speaker 3: very high since he likes to, you know, enjoy some
- 10:55Speaker 3: gummies or whatever. So there was that. There was also
- 11:00Speaker 3: the scene that's gone viral, which... Denise and Aaron, her husband,
- 11:04Speaker 3: are at a garden dinner party of Kyle's and something
- 11:08Speaker 3: goes awry and she feels they need to leave. And
- 11:12Speaker 3: he's pissed and he's very aggressive with the women. There
- 11:16Speaker 3: was another scene where he was giving it to Teddy
- 11:19Speaker 3: and Erica and they were like, stop mansplaining. And he
- 11:23Speaker 3: was just very aggressive, very uncomfortable, very entitled. And she says, Denise,
- 11:28Speaker 3: please stop. Like we're being filmed. And he's like, if
- 11:32Speaker 3: you don't shut up or something like that, I'm going
- 11:33Speaker 3: to crush your hand. So after Aaron filed for divorce,
- 11:39Speaker 3: asking for spousal support and all these things, asking for
- 11:44Speaker 3: his tools, his only personal possessions are his tools and his, um,
- 11:50Speaker 3: car or something, but he wants, you know, big payments
- 11:54Speaker 3: every month from her as she's taking the photos of
- 11:56Speaker 3: her and OnlyFans. She then filed and received a temporary
- 12:00Speaker 3: restraining order against him. And in that restraining order, which
- 12:05Speaker 3: is very hard to put together to fill out and
- 12:08Speaker 3: be granted, you have to have a lot of evidence.
- 12:11Speaker 3: It's very hard for someone who doesn't have an attorney
- 12:13Speaker 3: to fill it all out. That's why it's a scary
- 12:15Speaker 3: moment if you truly are someone without means who needs
- 12:18Speaker 3: to get a temporary restraining order from someone you know,
- 12:22Speaker 3: like a domestic situation. And she provides red carpet video
- 12:29Speaker 3: photos of where she clearly has bruises on her arms
- 12:31Speaker 3: that she didn't that she didn't cover up. I don't
- 12:35Speaker 3: know if she included anything from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
- 12:38Speaker 3: She probably forgot that hot mic moment of where he said,
- 12:42Speaker 3: I'm going to crush your hand. In it, she said
- 12:44Speaker 3: he would choke her, oftentimes push her head against a wall,
- 12:49Speaker 3: that he hit her, that he squeezed her shoulders and
- 12:54Speaker 3: her arms and her hands. And she also provided a
- 12:58Speaker 3: very disturbing photo of her with one very bad black eye.
- 13:03Speaker 3: in which she said she was going to his office
- 13:05Speaker 3: at the time. I don't know if he still has
- 13:06Speaker 3: his office or not. But she was going to his
- 13:08Speaker 3: office at the time. And that is where he got
- 13:13Speaker 3: all paranoid. He thought there were bugs or whatever, recording
- 13:17Speaker 3: devices in potted plants. And when she tried to calm
- 13:20Speaker 3: him down, they got in an argument. Police came because
- 13:23Speaker 3: they were so loud. The police left. And that after
- 13:26Speaker 3: that is when he hit her and she received that
- 13:29Speaker 3: black eye, which was a photo, I think, from 2022.
- 13:32Speaker 6: He now.
- 13:35Speaker 3: After that came out and she received her temporary restraining
- 13:38Speaker 3: order from him, she also said he has numerous unregistered firearms,
- 13:42Speaker 3: so that made her nervous. More coming back from Real
- 13:46Speaker 3: Housewives of Beverly Hills, as we remember the famous storyline
- 13:50Speaker 3: of which Brandi Glanville said she went to visit Denise
- 13:56Speaker 3: on set while she was doing a Hallmark movie in Canada,
- 13:59Speaker 3: and they were scissor sisters for the night, okay? They
- 14:01Speaker 3: had some fun, a little lesbian love, Brandy has always
- 14:05Speaker 3: said she's bisexual. She has gone on my show and
- 14:07Speaker 3: said that she's had full relationships with women. She reveals
- 14:11Speaker 3: all that. But she says to the girls on camera,
- 14:14Speaker 3: Denise says, Aaron cannot know. He will kill me. And
- 14:20Speaker 3: Brandy felt very caught off guard by that because she
- 14:24Speaker 3: thought they had like an open marriage or that he
- 14:26Speaker 3: knew that she was kind of like bi or bi
- 14:28Speaker 3: on occasion or whatever. And that was not the case,
- 14:31Speaker 3: according to Brandy Glanville. So now Erin went on TMZ
- 14:38Speaker 3: and is saying, none of this is true. I've never
- 14:41Speaker 3: been abusive. I've only been protective of her. She was cheating.
- 14:46Speaker 3: And I found out because one day we were about
- 14:48Speaker 3: to watch TV and she got up to get something
- 14:52Speaker 3: to eat or something. And I looked at her phone
- 14:54Speaker 3: and since I have all of her passcodes and passwords,
- 14:57Speaker 3: I looked at the phone and I saw that she
- 14:59Speaker 3: was talking to a guy very inappropriately. I'm like, Are
- 15:02Speaker 3: we sure it's not her OnlyFans people that, you know,
- 15:05Speaker 3: pay $ 10 for her to like talk to her to them?
- 15:07Speaker 3: I kid. Obviously, I don't believe anything he says, but
- 15:11Speaker 3: possibly did he see that she was talking to somebody? Yeah,
- 15:14Speaker 3: because you're a fucking nightmare to live with because you're
- 15:15Speaker 3: scary as shit because you're controlling. Who knows? Maybe she did.
- 15:20Speaker 3: So he said she begged for him not to leave
- 15:22Speaker 3: her and he tried to stay longer and make it work,
- 15:25Speaker 3: but that she was cheating. So we're supposed to have
- 15:27Speaker 3: sympathy for him because she was talking to guys that
- 15:31Speaker 3: weren't her husband on the phone. He also said the
- 15:34Speaker 3: black eye is caused from her drinking problem, that she
- 15:38Speaker 3: has a Vicodin and drinking problem. And then when she
- 15:40Speaker 3: was going to visit him one day at his office,
- 15:43Speaker 3: she slipped and fell on the stair going up there
- 15:46Speaker 3: and like the handrail hit her in the eye and
- 15:50Speaker 3: that his brother can or somebody can contest to it.
- 15:54Speaker 3: We know from the show that for some reason with
- 15:57Speaker 3: her generosity, his elderly parents are living in the home
- 16:00Speaker 3: that we saw them have on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
- 16:04Speaker 3: In her show on E! with him and her two daughters,
- 16:06Speaker 3: they live in another unit. The parents live there. And,
- 16:11Speaker 3: you know, she's doing all these things. She also adopted
- 16:14Speaker 3: a daughter. She has two daughters with Charlie Sheen who
- 16:17Speaker 3: are now like 18 and 23. She has a daughter
- 16:20Speaker 3: who's like about 10 that she adopted as a single woman, Eloise,
- 16:25Speaker 3: who has disabilities. Erin never adopted that child. And now Erin,
- 16:32Speaker 3: her soon-to-be ex-husband, is saying that she was such an
- 16:37Speaker 3: addict that she was violent towards that little girl that
- 16:42Speaker 3: has disabilities. I mean, this guy, I don't, this is
- 16:47Speaker 3: my opinion. You're a piece of shit. You're a liar.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I don't believe you, okay? That's my opinion. But it's juicy,
- 16:54Speaker 3: and that's why we're talking about it, because we know
- 16:56Speaker 3: these players and because we watched it on Real Housewives
- 16:58Speaker 3: of Beverly Hills play out, their relationships. And also when
- 17:02Speaker 3: I first announced that they were getting divorced because he filed,
- 17:06Speaker 3: I said, I'm not surprised. And people thought maybe this
- 17:10Speaker 3: was all an act because he was being sued for
- 17:14Speaker 3: not a lot, like $ 75, 000 or something. Maybe he's doing
- 17:17Speaker 3: this to protect her assets. I said, no, I don't
- 17:20Speaker 3: believe it. Nobody's going to ask for these things and
- 17:22Speaker 3: all that. So I was right about that. This is
- 17:24Speaker 3: a real divorce. This is really happening and it's really
- 17:27Speaker 3: getting ugly. She accusing him of, physical abuse, he accusing
- 17:32Speaker 3: her of cheating, child abuse, the worst thing you could
- 17:35Speaker 3: accuse someone of, due to addictions. And he also wrote
- 17:39Speaker 3: a letter to her family begging for an intervention because
- 17:43Speaker 3: she's been so abusive to their daughter, the daughter that
- 17:47Speaker 3: she adopted as a single woman that he has never
- 17:50Speaker 3: legally adopted. He also said, my parents are living in
- 17:56Speaker 3: a house, I guess, that she put them in, that
- 18:00Speaker 3: has a lot of maintenance issues and they're in their
- 18:03Speaker 3: 80s and they're doing it out of the goodness of
- 18:05Speaker 3: their heart to care to help care for Eloise the
- 18:09Speaker 3: handicapped daughter and all of her animals why is it
- 18:14Speaker 3: her responsibility to take care of your elderly parents and
- 18:17Speaker 3: if you don't like the house in Malibu get the
- 18:19Speaker 3: f out okay and if no one's buying your healing
- 18:22Speaker 3: practices like This guy, I am enraged. And that's my opinion.
- 18:29Speaker 3: So I hope that this gets cleared up. I hope
- 18:33Speaker 3: that people protect Denise at all costs. And maybe it's
- 18:38Speaker 3: good that it all came out. She can be free.
- 18:41Speaker 3: She can get rid of him. And wow, what a dick. Okay,
- 18:46Speaker 3: now I've got to talk about the show that everybody
- 18:48Speaker 3: is talking about, which is Amy Bradley is Missing. And
- 18:51Speaker 3: it's on Netflix. It came out this weekend. It's a
- 18:54Speaker 3: three-part documentary. And it is like the number one rated
- 18:58Speaker 3: show on Netflix right now. And everybody's talking about it.
- 19:02Speaker 3: So I watched it. Now, I'm going to give my opinion.
- 19:06Speaker 3: If you haven't seen, you want to skip a couple minutes, fine.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I don't think it really matters. I just want to
- 19:12Speaker 3: say a couple things, and maybe I'll get more into
- 19:13Speaker 3: it on Thursday's show as well. This is about a
- 19:18Speaker 3: girl who was 23, college graduate, played basketball in high school, athletic,
- 19:23Speaker 3: though not extremely tall, but athletic. went on a cruise
- 19:28Speaker 3: in 1998, going out of Puerto Vallarta for like a
- 19:30Speaker 3: week to like Aruba and everything with her mom, dad,
- 19:33Speaker 3: and 21-year-old brother. And the dad, they looked to have
- 19:38Speaker 3: some money, but they decided they would take their 21
- 19:41Speaker 3: and 23-year-old kids, not give them their own room. They'd
- 19:44Speaker 3: all share one very average room with a small balcony.
- 19:47Speaker 3: And the kids, I guess, the brother and sister were
- 19:49Speaker 3: going to sleep in the pull-out couch, or maybe there
- 19:52Speaker 3: were two double beds. I don't know. But that's where
- 19:55Speaker 3: they were staying. And after a day of drinking, she
- 20:01Speaker 3: and the brother came back from the disco about 20
- 20:04Speaker 3: minutes apart, one at 3.30, her at like 3.45. And
- 20:08Speaker 3: they know that because of the card sliding into the door.
- 20:11Speaker 3: And she and he smoked cigarettes on the balcony. The
- 20:15Speaker 3: brother went back into the room to fall asleep around 3.50.
- 20:20Speaker 3: And the dad woke up at 5.30, saw that she
- 20:22Speaker 3: had stayed outside because she said, I want to stay
- 20:24Speaker 3: outside on this lounge chair. And then at 6, he
- 20:28Speaker 3: woke up again, 6 a.m., and she was no longer
- 20:30Speaker 3: on the balcony. But her Birkenstock shoes were left there.
- 20:34Speaker 3: And he never heard her leave or anything, looked for her,
- 20:37Speaker 3: couldn't find her. They never found her. And the mystery
- 20:40Speaker 3: goes on for 30 years. And there are several theories
- 20:46Speaker 3: based on people who said they saw her in these
- 20:48Speaker 3: different islands in the area, which are that she had
- 20:55Speaker 3: something to do with this guy who was a local musician,
- 20:57Speaker 3: not local, but a musician on the cruise ship, that
- 21:00Speaker 3: he may have taken her and trafficked her. And she's
- 21:03Speaker 3: been trafficked for the last 30 years and has never
- 21:08Speaker 3: called her home or anything. And maybe that's because she
- 21:12Speaker 3: has given birth and that she's so under the spell
- 21:16Speaker 3: of these pimps that she met on the cruise ship,
- 21:20Speaker 3: that after being there for two days, that she could
- 21:23Speaker 3: never call her... Oh, the other thing is she was
- 21:27Speaker 3: an out lesbian. That part's very interesting because it was
- 21:30Speaker 3: 1998 and she came out to her parents and the
- 21:32Speaker 3: dad was not happy with it and he wrote her
- 21:34Speaker 3: girlfriend a three-page letter saying that he was so disappointed
- 21:39Speaker 3: in her. Like, what? Someone else's child you're writing her to?
- 21:43Speaker 3: So they didn't accept her sexuality and... to me, I'm sorry,
- 21:49Speaker 3: this is juicy scoop, but I'm going to be honest.
- 21:51Speaker 3: I think she looked like she was someone that could
- 21:55Speaker 3: have a girlfriend. I think she had short hair. I
- 21:57Speaker 3: think she kind of seemed to carry herself in a
- 22:00Speaker 3: way that you would not be surprised to hear that.
- 22:04Speaker 3: But the parents weren't having it. And so I will
- 22:09Speaker 3: talk more about it and I want you to tell
- 22:11Speaker 3: me what you think and why you think, but A
- 22:14Speaker 3: lot of the comments of people talking about this are
- 22:16Speaker 3: that they don't totally believe that she was trafficked and
- 22:20Speaker 3: has like Stockholm syndrome living in Barbados. I just don't
- 22:25Speaker 3: believe it. I don't believe that people that work on
- 22:27Speaker 3: cruise ships would sacrifice a career as a musician on
- 22:32Speaker 3: a cruise ship who's like a native of that area
- 22:36Speaker 3: going oh guys I found a good one um she's
- 22:40Speaker 3: 23 she's a college graduate she also plays basketball she's
- 22:43Speaker 3: staying on the cruise ship not with a bunch of
- 22:45Speaker 3: other drunk girls but her mom and dad and brother
- 22:48Speaker 3: okay I think we found our golden girl everybody that
- 22:52Speaker 3: we're gonna make so much money off of let's lure
- 22:56Speaker 3: her off the boat somehow and puts up enough drugs
- 22:59Speaker 3: in her that she can be under our spell for
- 23:02Speaker 3: 30 years while we traffic her in the islands of
- 23:07Speaker 3: the Barbados world. There's all these, you know, eyewitnesses and things.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I think they're thirsty. I think people love to be
- 23:14Speaker 3: part of trying to solve a juicy crime. But most importantly,
- 23:19Speaker 3: this is a documentary. And documentaries get greenlit and do
- 23:24Speaker 3: well because it gets people talking. If you're a documentarian,
- 23:28Speaker 3: you are going to edit it and create it in
- 23:30Speaker 3: a way that in the beginning you think one thing,
- 23:34Speaker 3: in the middle you think another, and by the end
- 23:36Speaker 3: you're just confused. And that does this, and that's why
- 23:39Speaker 3: it is really well done and is really juicy. However,
- 23:43Speaker 3: it is my opinion, unfortunately, that... And I did a
- 23:49Speaker 3: TikTok on it right after I finished watching it. I
- 23:52Speaker 3: think that she wasn't that happy with her life for
- 23:56Speaker 3: a number of reasons, that she was also drinking all day,
- 24:01Speaker 3: probably had more alcohol than her seven beers that was
- 24:04Speaker 3: on her tab, might have been on some drugs. Seeing
- 24:08Speaker 3: that water on a cruise ship, I've been on a
- 24:10Speaker 3: cruise ship. It's very alluring. And there's where you're like
- 24:14Speaker 3: thinking about it. And if you're not in the right
- 24:16Speaker 3: state of mind, I think that she went for it.
- 24:19Speaker 3: And I think it happened between 530 and 6 a.m.
- 24:22Speaker 3: I think the parents would have heard her walk through
- 24:25Speaker 3: the tiny room and leave and have that door shut.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I don't know. I think the parents don't want to
- 24:31Speaker 3: accept it. I think they would rather think that she
- 24:34Speaker 3: was out being a victim of somebody than that. she
- 24:38Speaker 3: chose to leave them on this earth without her. I
- 24:42Speaker 3: think that's my opinion. Also, I've been on cruise ships
- 24:47Speaker 3: and I, I remember I got the wristband to get
- 24:52Speaker 3: all the drinks. Peter didn't. We'd like to save a
- 24:54Speaker 3: buck back in the day. And it all worked out.
- 24:57Speaker 3: I'm doing fine now. I wouldn't have to do this then, now,
- 25:00Speaker 3: but I did it then. So that's the type of thing.
- 25:02Speaker 3: You're trying to get drinks. I would go and get
- 25:05Speaker 3: a drink and then hand it to Peter and then
- 25:06Speaker 3: I'd run down to another bar so that I could
- 25:09Speaker 3: get another drink. And I didn't want people to think
- 25:11Speaker 3: that I was doing that. I was doing that. We
- 25:14Speaker 3: didn't pay for internet one year when we were on
- 25:16Speaker 3: the Caribbean cruise and I lost my son several times.
- 25:18Speaker 3: It was a very stressful trip because we didn't want
- 25:21Speaker 3: to pay for the extra internet. Those are the kind
- 25:23Speaker 3: of people that go on these cruises, okay? And then
- 25:25Speaker 3: the staff is there and they just want to make
- 25:28Speaker 3: their money and send it home to their family. They're
- 25:31Speaker 3: not looking to do a pimp business on the side.
- 25:34Speaker 3: And that is what I think. And then just yesterday,
- 25:38Speaker 3: the brother, Brad Bradley, what a name, He tweeted or
- 25:44Speaker 3: went on X and said that there were some things
- 25:47Speaker 3: that were not included in the documentary. One, that she
- 25:50Speaker 3: was dating a man before she went on this cruise,
- 25:55Speaker 3: which we see the girlfriend that she has. She has
- 25:59Speaker 3: a lovely letter from her apologizing and saying that she
- 26:03Speaker 3: feels stranded and she loves her that she received like
- 26:07Speaker 3: a month before she went missing, which also leads me
- 26:11Speaker 3: to believe that she really wasn't as settled in her
- 26:13Speaker 3: life as we'd like to believe and therefore could have
- 26:17Speaker 3: taken her life into her own hands. Now, the brother says, oh,
- 26:21Speaker 3: I forgot to tell, one thing I've always wanted investigated
- 26:23Speaker 3: is before the pool party, the day that she went missing,
- 26:27Speaker 3: she was talking to two black women on the pool
- 26:30Speaker 3: deck that were wearing uniforms, but they weren't Royal Caribbean uniforms.
- 26:35Speaker 3: I realized later that they're Sea Org uniforms. from Scientology.
- 26:41Speaker 3: And so he thinks that one of the other possibilities
- 26:45Speaker 3: is that maybe she wasn't trafficked, maybe she was kidnapped
- 26:50Speaker 3: or lured into Scientology for the last 30 years. I disagree.
- 26:55Speaker 3: I'm sorry. That's not how Scientology works. They want to
- 26:59Speaker 3: get people in there that'll stay in for years, that
- 27:02Speaker 3: will recruit other people, that will buy years and years
- 27:05Speaker 3: of materials and use their credit cards. And it's not, oh,
- 27:10Speaker 3: let's just find this one girl who, again, is on
- 27:12Speaker 3: a cruise with family. These are not the people that
- 27:16Speaker 3: get taken into cults or traffic. An established person with family,
- 27:24Speaker 3: family around, they are not an easy target. That's not who,
- 27:28Speaker 3: in my opinion, get taken. So when you think about
- 27:31Speaker 3: all that, tell me what you think. But it's on Netflix.
- 27:35Speaker 3: It's available now. So go watch that. All right, you guys,
- 27:37Speaker 3: before we get into my juicy interview with Sheena Shea,
- 27:39Speaker 3: remember to go to heathermcdonald.net, join my Patreon. That's where
- 27:43Speaker 3: I really get into the juicy stuff. I give you
- 27:45Speaker 3: the behind the scenes feelings of some of my more
- 27:48Speaker 3: juicy controversial interviews that you get to enjoy on Tuesdays
- 27:50Speaker 3: and Thursdays. Also, that's where you're going to buy your
- 27:53Speaker 3: tickets to my show, my live juicy scoop, November 14th
- 27:57Speaker 3: at the MGM Grand. That is the Friday of BravoCon.
- 28:00Speaker 3: We are not going to be holding anything back. It's
- 28:03Speaker 3: going to be, I mean, even on Friday, I went
- 28:06Speaker 3: to a very Bravo-centric event, which I will talk about
- 28:09Speaker 3: on Patreon, but I'm even saving some scoop that I
- 28:13Speaker 3: got for for that show, that live show. So that's
- 28:17Speaker 3: how these things work. Lots of content over at heathermcdonald.net.
- 28:22Speaker 3: And now for Sheena Shea. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 28:26Speaker 3: I have the woman everybody is talking about. I'm confident
- 28:31Speaker 3: New York Times bestselling author will be also on her
- 28:35Speaker 3: list of singer, mother, star of Vanderpump Rules, uh, the
- 28:41Speaker 3: mass singer, possibly dancing with a star winner at one point,
- 28:46Speaker 3: Sheena Shea, welcome back to juicy scoop friend. How are you? Good.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Thank you for having me. Always good to see you.
- 28:53Speaker 3: I know you're so busy. So we are doing this,
- 28:56Speaker 3: you know, so it's on the zoom, which is fine
- 28:59Speaker 3: because sometimes I like it better because, uh, Other times
- 29:03Speaker 3: people say I interrupt people in this way. I can't
- 29:06Speaker 3: on zoom because I have so much to talk about. Um,
- 29:09Speaker 3: the book is great. First of all, I'm going to
- 29:11Speaker 3: tell you how good the book is. It's so good.
- 29:14Speaker 3: And I'm not blowing steam up your ass. So I'm
- 29:16Speaker 3: sure the haters will say that, but there's one, what
- 29:21Speaker 3: I love about it is it kind of reads like
- 29:26Speaker 3: what I used to be studying Shakespeare, Shakespearean plays, and
- 29:29Speaker 3: I'd read cliff notes and, Because that is what Vanderpump
- 29:33Speaker 3: Rules is. It's so much of like, and what we
- 29:36Speaker 3: didn't know is that these two people were talking and
- 29:38Speaker 3: I ran around the corner and said this. And if
- 29:40Speaker 3: you've ever studied Shakespeare, that really, he was like writing
- 29:45Speaker 3: reality TV.
- 29:46Speaker 2: So you're comparing me to Shakespeare?
- 29:49Speaker 3: I'm comparing reality TV to Shakespeare, but you, the way
- 29:52Speaker 3: you describe what was going on in your life, but
- 29:56Speaker 3: also in the show, which was, you know, he wrote
- 29:59Speaker 3: plays is like, it's why I'm always been fascinated by
- 30:03Speaker 3: reality TV and why I've studied it and covered it.
- 30:07Speaker 3: But how did you enjoy the process of writing the book?
- 30:10Speaker 2: Oh, that's a loaded question. It was a lot, you know,
- 30:15Speaker 2: it was, cathartic for sure. It was great to put
- 30:19Speaker 2: it all out there and to just literally put it
- 30:22Speaker 2: in the book. But collaborating with someone, I touch on
- 30:29Speaker 2: that a bit in the book. There was a leak.
- 30:32Speaker 2: It was a process that didn't go extremely smooth and
- 30:38Speaker 2: it was very challenging. So going through this, I now
- 30:42Speaker 2: know if I do ever write another book, what I
- 30:44Speaker 2: would do differently, what I would maybe do the same.
- 30:48Speaker 2: But for my first book, for a memoir, I didn't
- 30:52Speaker 2: know what I was doing. I may be a natural
- 30:55Speaker 2: storyteller and have a journalism degree. However, I don't know
- 30:59Speaker 2: how to structure a book. I don't know what people
- 31:01Speaker 2: will want to hear, what people won't want to hear.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I could go on about my childhood for chapters, but
- 31:06Speaker 2: how do we make it a little more concise? So
- 31:09Speaker 2: The whole process, it was definitely a learning experience. Some
- 31:13Speaker 2: great cathartic times, but also a lot of tears, full-on
- 31:18Speaker 2: panic attacks, and wanting to just quit after I had
- 31:23Speaker 2: a book deal in place.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Well, you know, first of all, I guess you're saying,
- 31:27Speaker 3: you know, I'm sure you... I've read all the criticism.
- 31:30Speaker 3: I mean, you've done some interviews that reveal some of
- 31:33Speaker 3: the juicier parts of the book. And I'm seeing people...
- 31:37Speaker 3: So the most juicy part of the book is that
- 31:39Speaker 3: you reveal that Brock, your now husband, father of Summer Moon,
- 31:44Speaker 3: that after you had gotten married, which you got married
- 31:48Speaker 3: after Summer was born, when she was about two, during
- 31:51Speaker 3: the Scandival thing, Brock came to you because he... Now,
- 31:57Speaker 3: this is where I get a little confused. So he
- 32:00Speaker 3: saw something on a blind or a Reddit that someone
- 32:05Speaker 3: was saying that he had had an affair and therefore
- 32:08Speaker 3: he wanted to tell you before it came to fruition?
- 32:10Speaker 2: Not exactly. So there were several blind items about him
- 32:14Speaker 2: and Raquel that were complete bullshit, but I still had
- 32:17Speaker 2: to question it. I still, in my brain was like,
- 32:20Speaker 2: I mean, If Tom and Raquel did this, could Brock
- 32:23Speaker 2: and Raquel have done it?
- 32:24Speaker 3: Like, no, no way.
- 32:26Speaker 2: So those, it was annoying, but that was fine. Then
- 32:30Speaker 2: there was another blind item that came out about a
- 32:33Speaker 2: girl supposedly who he dated before me in San Diego.
- 32:37Speaker 2: said she helped him pack his bags for the Australia
- 32:40Speaker 2: trip where we made it official. He said that that
- 32:42Speaker 2: was also bullshit. But then part of me was like,
- 32:46Speaker 2: there's probably some truth to this. Maybe it wasn't that
- 32:49Speaker 2: she packed his bags for Australia, but they probably were
- 32:52Speaker 2: talking before me. I do know he was seeing someone
- 32:55Speaker 2: before me and he cut that off and we made
- 32:58Speaker 2: it official in Bali. And as far as I knew,
- 32:59Speaker 2: he was always faithful after that. So... With that blind item,
- 33:06Speaker 2: I think he was like, okay, the Raquel thing was
- 33:08Speaker 2: completely bullshit. Like, yeah, there was someone I dated before,
- 33:11Speaker 2: but also knowing what he had done. What if that's
- 33:13Speaker 2: the next blind item that comes out? Because now either
- 33:17Speaker 2: that woman feels like revealing it or she told a
- 33:20Speaker 2: friend or someone wants, you know, a few hundred bucks
- 33:24Speaker 2: to sell a story. I don't even know how much
- 33:25Speaker 2: you get for those.
- 33:27Speaker 4: But.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I think he just felt like if this is going
- 33:30Speaker 2: to come out, Sheena deserves to hear it from me,
- 33:33Speaker 2: not on some blind item on a blog site.
- 33:36Speaker 3: And it never did come out.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Well, then a couple of days after my book sold,
- 33:43Speaker 2: there was a big blog site that had a blind
- 33:47Speaker 2: item saying I was writing a book. It just got
- 33:51Speaker 2: picked up. And there was going to be a chapter
- 33:53Speaker 2: where I revealed Brock had a physical and emotional affair.
- 33:58Speaker 2: It was never emotional. So that was the part of
- 33:59Speaker 2: the blind item that wasn't true. But this came out
- 34:03Speaker 2: two days after I sold my book. And it didn't
- 34:08Speaker 2: go anywhere else after that. It just kind of lived there.
- 34:11Speaker 2: But knowing that it was out in the world, not
- 34:13Speaker 2: knowing if it was going to be screenshot, if it
- 34:15Speaker 2: was going to be posted somewhere else, it's behind a paywall.
- 34:19Speaker 2: But maybe that is going to go somewhere else. Maybe
- 34:21Speaker 2: it's going to go to Reddit. I don't know. So then...
- 34:24Speaker 2: I felt like Brock had to tell my mom, needed
- 34:27Speaker 2: to tell my sister because I don't want my mom
- 34:29Speaker 2: finding out from a blind item. You know, I've kept
- 34:32Speaker 2: this for over a year secret, but now what do
- 34:36Speaker 2: we do? I had a rough outline of the chapter
- 34:39Speaker 2: of if we put it in the book, here's what
- 34:41Speaker 2: I would want to say. He read it and he
- 34:44Speaker 2: was just like, No, like this can't go in the
- 34:48Speaker 2: book like this. And if you are going to put
- 34:49Speaker 2: it in the book, you need to give a hell
- 34:51Speaker 2: of a lot more detail, which I did. And he
- 34:54Speaker 2: didn't read it until it went to print. And then
- 34:55Speaker 2: he was like, oh, wow, you really went all in.
- 34:57Speaker 2: I'm like, you told me if I was going to
- 34:59Speaker 2: put it in the book to add more detail. But
- 35:03Speaker 2: once there was a blind item and the more we
- 35:07Speaker 2: talked about it, we went back and forth for probably
- 35:10Speaker 2: about eight months. It's in the book. It's not in
- 35:12Speaker 2: the book. The book sold without them knowing at all
- 35:14Speaker 2: what chapter 16 was. There was a very vague description
- 35:17Speaker 2: of what this chapter could be. The book sold. So
- 35:22Speaker 2: I felt like the book stood alone and was a
- 35:24Speaker 2: good enough book without it. But the more I sat
- 35:28Speaker 2: with it, the more I thought about it, I'm like,
- 35:30Speaker 2: this is... completely inauthentic of me to put out a book,
- 35:36Speaker 2: a memoir where I'm telling people that I'm an open
- 35:38Speaker 2: book and I'm going to tell you everything about me
- 35:40Speaker 2: that you didn't know, but I'm going to leave out
- 35:43Speaker 2: a chapter in the book, leave out a chapter of
- 35:45Speaker 2: my life and go from Scandival to this past December.
- 35:48Speaker 2: It doesn't like, how do I talk about the last
- 35:52Speaker 2: year and a half now, two and a half years
- 35:54Speaker 2: of my life since I've known this. if I don't
- 35:57Speaker 2: put it in the book, it just, it wasn't, it
- 35:59Speaker 2: wasn't going to be a real memoir that I would
- 36:01Speaker 2: be genuinely proud of because I would feel like I
- 36:04Speaker 2: did a disservice to myself and to everyone reading it,
- 36:08Speaker 2: that it wasn't the whole story.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Well, I totally understand that of, of what you're sharing and,
- 36:12Speaker 3: and why you decide to share something, especially at your
- 36:15Speaker 3: level of fame and the way the internet works. And, um,
- 36:21Speaker 3: I can relate a lot to that, to like revealing something. Now, So,
- 36:26Speaker 3: I mean, as someone who knows you personally, was very
- 36:30Speaker 3: into the Santa ball, I follow a lot of people.
- 36:34Speaker 3: I can say I never saw that or heard about it.
- 36:38Speaker 3: I never had someone DM it to me. So that's
- 36:42Speaker 3: kind of amazing, actually, that it didn't really get out
- 36:45Speaker 3: there that much.
- 36:48Speaker 2: I really am. But I just knew also, if I
- 36:50Speaker 2: didn't put it in the book, For the rest of
- 36:53Speaker 2: my life, sure. Maybe I take it to my grave.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Maybe we die with it and no one else ever
- 36:58Speaker 2: finds out. But I will always be thinking about it
- 37:01Speaker 2: in the back of my mind. I will always be
- 37:04Speaker 2: looking over my shoulder. I will be in every scene
- 37:06Speaker 2: moving forward of my reality TV career wondering, do they know?
- 37:10Speaker 2: Did they see that blind item? Are they going to
- 37:11Speaker 2: say something about it? And then let's say it comes out.
- 37:15Speaker 2: My book is inauthentic. Like why would Sheena hide it
- 37:19Speaker 2: on the show than hide it in her book? Like
- 37:21Speaker 2: I wasn't willing to do that. I didn't even hide
- 37:24Speaker 2: it from production season 11. I was processing it. I
- 37:27Speaker 2: wasn't ready to reveal what we were going through because
- 37:32Speaker 2: I hadn't made a decision on if I was going
- 37:34Speaker 2: to stay or leave. I was going to fight as
- 37:36Speaker 2: hard as I could to see if I was strong
- 37:39Speaker 2: enough to stay because Of course, it's easier to walk away.
- 37:43Speaker 2: You betrayed me. Done with you. Bye. Moving on. But
- 37:46Speaker 2: it wasn't so cut and dry. I have a child
- 37:48Speaker 2: to think about. We've lived this life together. I'm not
- 37:52Speaker 2: going to let a mistake you made two and a
- 37:54Speaker 2: half years ago define our future when you've proven what
- 37:57Speaker 2: an amazing husband you are. He is such an incredible
- 38:01Speaker 2: father to Summer. And I know that he has so
- 38:04Speaker 2: much regrets from his past. But that doesn't mean that
- 38:07Speaker 2: he doesn't deserve a second chance at being a dad.
- 38:10Speaker 6: So.
- 38:12Speaker 3: So just get the timeline straight for people that are
- 38:14Speaker 3: big Vanderpump people. So you're pregnant, unbeknownst to you, he
- 38:21Speaker 3: is going to the gym and meets a girl and
- 38:24Speaker 3: they have an affair for a short period of time,
- 38:28Speaker 3: but it wasn't a one-timer. That ends, you have summer,
- 38:33Speaker 3: you guys, you know, plan on getting married, you get engaged,
- 38:37Speaker 3: all that. Scandival breaks, right? And during this cannibal time,
- 38:42Speaker 3: you hear the stupid rumors about Raquel, but you don't
- 38:45Speaker 3: know anything that he actually had ever stepped out while
- 38:48Speaker 3: you guys were a couple. So when he tells you,
- 38:52Speaker 3: when you're about to watch Real Housewives of New Jersey,
- 38:55Speaker 3: which I'm guessing, I don't know if you've ever been
- 38:57Speaker 3: able to watch it since, but maybe it's not coming back. No, no.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Not saying I want that. Not saying I want that.
- 39:04Speaker 1: So.
- 39:07Speaker 3: So then you still have the final season that you
- 39:11Speaker 3: guys were all in together to film. So you have
- 39:13Speaker 3: this in you and we see you, you know, being
- 39:17Speaker 3: worried about Tom Sandoval having, um, you know, thoughts about
- 39:21Speaker 3: ending his life. You, you say that can't happen because
- 39:25Speaker 3: in the book you reveal a very sad experience that
- 39:27Speaker 3: you had with someone who did. And And that seems
- 39:30Speaker 3: all very real. And then, you know, it's coming to
- 39:35Speaker 3: the end. And what's also really interesting about the book
- 39:38Speaker 3: is you really go there in revealing what things you
- 39:43Speaker 3: were pushed to do because of producers or Lisa Vanderpump
- 39:47Speaker 3: And what just one particular thing that you and Lala
- 39:52Speaker 3: and a couple of the other girls decided to make
- 39:55Speaker 3: a bigger deal out of to have like a better
- 39:58Speaker 3: fight happen, which was, were you going to share your
- 40:02Speaker 3: proposal or not that you guys were actually engaged while
- 40:07Speaker 3: Raquel and James were celebrating their engagement party? So I
- 40:12Speaker 3: really appreciated that knowing how these shows work. knowing that
- 40:16Speaker 3: other shows like The Hills, we now know through my
- 40:20Speaker 3: good friend Spencer and Heidi, who are just the loveliest
- 40:23Speaker 3: couple ever, that, you know, they weren't assholes. They weren't,
- 40:26Speaker 3: you know, that that was very scripted, but yours really isn't.
- 40:30Speaker 2: And I talk about that a little bit in the
- 40:31Speaker 2: book too, with Heidi and Spencer.
- 40:33Speaker 3: That you like did like a small bit with them
- 40:36Speaker 3: and then she drives up, she's like, hey girl, hope
- 40:38Speaker 3: you know that's me. So that, all that stuff is,
- 40:41Speaker 3: is why everyone should buy the book because there's so
- 40:43Speaker 3: many great other LA moments and things that were never
- 40:47Speaker 3: caught on camera. And you like, you know, your early
- 40:50Speaker 3: years in LA, which I find so fun and relatable.
- 40:54Speaker 3: But so with that, you know, the criticism that you're
- 40:59Speaker 3: now getting from people who are never going to be
- 41:02Speaker 3: your fan, no matter what you write, you know, but
- 41:05Speaker 3: this is big news story is she, I could see
- 41:10Speaker 3: this being completely fake. She and Brock, I could see
- 41:14Speaker 3: her putting Summer to bed and going, Brock, I know
- 41:17Speaker 3: how we're going to sell this book. Get me secured
- 41:20Speaker 3: on the valley. Get me on Dancing with the Stars.
- 41:24Speaker 3: Get me all the parts because now I'll have sympathy
- 41:26Speaker 3: because I was cheated on. And of course, we know
- 41:29Speaker 3: that's not true. But how do you feel about people
- 41:31Speaker 3: thinking that you guys made this up to sell a book?
- 41:34Speaker 3: Which when someone put that, I immediately wrote, no, it's
- 41:38Speaker 3: not true. There's no way. There's not a man on
- 41:41Speaker 3: this earth That would say, yeah, let's do this and
- 41:46Speaker 3: make me look fucking horrible. Like, there's no way.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Yeah. No, I... Okay, so I've pretty much stayed out
- 41:53Speaker 2: of the comment section. So the fact that people are
- 41:56Speaker 2: saying I made it up. First of all, let's go
- 41:58Speaker 2: back to season eight when they brought in new cast
- 42:01Speaker 2: members and the show... what was being planned to split
- 42:04Speaker 2: into two, which now became the Valley. And I was
- 42:07Speaker 2: going to be a part of both shows. I was
- 42:08Speaker 2: a part of the Valley before it existed. Then, you know,
- 42:12Speaker 2: pandemic season nine, the cancellations, all of that, everything gets pushed.
- 42:18Speaker 2: Now season 10 is picked up, which I'm offered a
- 42:20Speaker 2: day rate for the second time slap in the face.
- 42:25Speaker 3: I want to just go back to that part. Cause
- 42:26Speaker 3: I just read that part in the book and which
- 42:30Speaker 3: is another reason why, you know, Even if you, people
- 42:34Speaker 3: are like, why wouldn't she have shared this on the show?
- 42:37Speaker 3: I am so proud of you that if you were
- 42:41Speaker 3: going to share it, that you were going to save
- 42:43Speaker 3: it for yourself. Whether it was going to be an
- 42:46Speaker 3: explosive podcast episode, if it was going to be a
- 42:48Speaker 3: special on NBC, or if it was going to be
- 42:50Speaker 3: a book. I am so glad that you didn't give
- 42:54Speaker 3: another huge part of your life on a platter. Because
- 42:57Speaker 3: reading that scene in the book... that you're about to
- 43:01Speaker 3: go on Watch What Happens Live, and the producer calls you,
- 43:03Speaker 3: doesn't even know that you're about to go on Watch
- 43:06Speaker 3: What Happens Live. This is how disrespectful, you don't even
- 43:08Speaker 3: know I'm doing your, to say, we need you to
- 43:11Speaker 3: come in for the meeting. And then you call Alex Baskin,
- 43:14Speaker 3: five minutes before you're about to sit with Andy Cohen, scared.
- 43:18Speaker 3: And you're like, what is this meeting about? He's like,
- 43:20Speaker 3: it's not one that you're going to like. And then
- 43:22Speaker 3: they demote you and put you to the day rate,
- 43:24Speaker 3: which I'm really glad you didn't quit because they did
- 43:27Speaker 3: the same thing to Luann. And look at her. She
- 43:29Speaker 3: had like, you know, made the most money that season,
- 43:31Speaker 3: did a juicy. But it's a huge ego crusher, especially
- 43:35Speaker 3: because we all know the show started because of you.
- 43:40Speaker 3: So like.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Yeah, no, a huge slap in the face to then
- 43:44Speaker 2: have it happen to me a second time. And so
- 43:48Speaker 2: in the pandemic, pregnant, you know, there's talks of the valley.
- 43:52Speaker 2: It is going to happen. I meet with producers. They,
- 43:55Speaker 2: you know, are wanting to shoot a pilot. They shoot
- 43:58Speaker 2: a Zoom interview and all of this. And then I
- 44:01Speaker 2: find out for season 10, I'm only being offered a
- 44:03Speaker 2: day rate. And I'm like, you know what? Do we
- 44:06Speaker 2: just walk away? Do we just say, fuck it? Let's
- 44:08Speaker 2: try the valley. Let's go on that first season. And
- 44:11Speaker 2: do that. But then they weren't going to be filming
- 44:13Speaker 2: anytime soon. So I'm like, or we do one more season.
- 44:17Speaker 2: I collect my day rates. Maybe we get married on it.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Maybe we don't. We'll figure that out. We're already married.
- 44:22Speaker 2: And then we'll talk about, you know, the Valley next year. Well,
- 44:25Speaker 2: then we get picked up again. So I'm sorry. I'm
- 44:28Speaker 2: not going to take a season one new show income
- 44:30Speaker 2: over a season 11.
- 44:31Speaker 3: Right.
- 44:32Speaker 2: And so I pop in on that season two. I
- 44:36Speaker 2: pop in on that because we still thought we had
- 44:37Speaker 2: a season 12. I was never choosing The Valley over
- 44:41Speaker 2: Vanderpump Rules. Now Vanderpump Rules has gone its way and
- 44:45Speaker 2: who knows what will happen season three. But for everyone
- 44:47Speaker 2: saying I'm so desperate to get on The Valley and
- 44:50Speaker 2: I'm trying to sell a book and use my family
- 44:52Speaker 2: and all of that, I just want to remind them
- 44:54Speaker 2: that I've been a part of this show since before
- 44:56Speaker 2: it actually existed. And I would never sell my family
- 45:00Speaker 2: out to sell an actual book. I'm telling my truth
- 45:05Speaker 2: because it's my story and there's no way I could
- 45:08Speaker 2: put out a memoir and not tell my full story.
- 45:12Speaker 2: And if there's anything missing from the book, it's not
- 45:15Speaker 2: anything that's a skeleton in my closet because all of
- 45:18Speaker 2: those are out and maybe could have gone into some
- 45:21Speaker 2: more detail on some stuff. But I'm like, no, this
- 45:24Speaker 2: is literally all of me. And it's kind of scary.
- 45:26Speaker 3: I mean, I think that's great. And I can imagine
- 45:30Speaker 3: the feeling you felt of being underappreciated. And the fact that,
- 45:36Speaker 3: you know, in reading the book, how often you did,
- 45:39Speaker 3: you were the yes person. You were the person the
- 45:41Speaker 3: producer could call or Lisa and say, hey, when we
- 45:45Speaker 3: film tomorrow, you need to do this. And the conversations
- 45:48Speaker 3: with Lisa are, you know, you're being truthful. I can
- 45:53Speaker 3: see it happening. I don't think it's a bad thing.
- 45:55Speaker 3: She's got a show, you know, it's kind of what
- 45:59Speaker 3: the other housewives have said, you know, that she would
- 46:03Speaker 3: you know, have a way of talking and dropping things.
- 46:07Speaker 3: I am friendly with Lisa and she has told me
- 46:12Speaker 3: things that have yet to come out about cast members
- 46:18Speaker 3: on certain shows she's participated in. And she's like, now
- 46:21Speaker 3: don't tell anyone. And I don't think she knows who
- 46:24Speaker 3: I am because I don't tell when people say, don't
- 46:26Speaker 3: tell anyone, I actually don't. And I kind of was like, Hmm,
- 46:31Speaker 3: and she's some of the stories she's told me a
- 46:34Speaker 3: couple of times. And I'm like, I know you think
- 46:37Speaker 3: I'm like, maybe these other bloggers don't say anything.
- 46:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:43Speaker 3: These other bloggers or whatever, but I, that's not how
- 46:46Speaker 3: I run juicy scoop. That's not what you scoops about.
- 46:48Speaker 3: It's not what Heather McDonald stand of comedians about. I
- 46:51Speaker 3: love this stuff and I love to talk about it
- 46:53Speaker 3: and explain it in a way that I know is juicy.
- 46:56Speaker 3: And that's not, you know, jumping the gun and destroying
- 46:59Speaker 3: someone's life before it's out there. Like, I'm always like,
- 47:01Speaker 3: I'm not breaking news. I like to have the news
- 47:04Speaker 3: out there and then I'll comment and talk about it
- 47:07Speaker 3: because I'm not out to destroy someone's life. So I
- 47:10Speaker 3: can totally see how that works. Don't necessarily think she's
- 47:14Speaker 3: a bad person, but when then in the book, you
- 47:16Speaker 3: kind of felt like, you know, then again, when you're
- 47:19Speaker 3: not useful, you felt unappreciated, pushed to the side, thrown away.
- 47:25Speaker 3: And I think that's a really vulnerable thing that you
- 47:28Speaker 3: wrote about, too.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I kind of felt, you know, used after all
- 47:31Speaker 2: of these years. It's like she could have told me
- 47:34Speaker 2: from the beginning, look, I know you were involved in
- 47:36Speaker 2: this situation a few years ago. his ex-wife is on
- 47:39Speaker 2: the show. You're probably going to run into her, but
- 47:42Speaker 2: you know, this could turn into something and maybe it
- 47:44Speaker 2: would feel cathartic of you to apologize, to get like,
- 47:49Speaker 2: she could have just been so honest with me. And
- 47:50Speaker 2: I would have been like, yeah, absolutely. It still would
- 47:54Speaker 2: have been the same decision.
- 47:56Speaker 3: Dating Eddie Cibrian and the, and the Brandy situation.
- 48:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:01Speaker 3: I mean, when you really realize how blindsided you were, however,
- 48:07Speaker 3: as a viewer, Maybe it was the smartest way to
- 48:11Speaker 3: execute it, though you were used as a pawn. But
- 48:13Speaker 3: you did get a show out of it. It was
- 48:15Speaker 3: a successful show. So it's like, in hindsight, would that
- 48:19Speaker 3: have been the classier thing? But it probably wouldn't have
- 48:22Speaker 3: been as real. And the show is reality TV. But
- 48:28Speaker 3: that's what's kind of interesting is then you– as a
- 48:30Speaker 3: 40 year old woman, you know, but you wrote this
- 48:33Speaker 3: when you were 39, but like, you know, reflecting back
- 48:37Speaker 3: on knowing everything that you know. Now let's jump to
- 48:40Speaker 3: the final scene of the end of Vanderpump rules as
- 48:44Speaker 3: we know it.
- 48:45Speaker 5: Okay.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Which is you guys are in San Francisco and it's
- 48:48Speaker 3: the final episode. And it's very clear from everything we
- 48:53Speaker 3: know now and what you guys have revealed on your
- 48:55Speaker 3: own podcast and in your book, um, that this one
- 48:59Speaker 3: particular producer, Jeremiah, I guess it was him, that was
- 49:04Speaker 3: pushing you guys to want Ariana to have this scene
- 49:10Speaker 3: in which she felt it would be a redemption scene
- 49:12Speaker 3: for Tom Sandoval to like, hey, I'm really sorry, whatever.
- 49:17Speaker 3: And she just wasn't going to give him that. She
- 49:19Speaker 3: didn't want to give it to him. And to the
- 49:21Speaker 3: viewers watching it, they, many of them felt that you
- 49:24Speaker 3: and Lala were like, coming from a place which you
- 49:28Speaker 3: did say, you know, this is, or one of you guys,
- 49:31Speaker 3: this is our show, we have children, but to some
- 49:35Speaker 3: people interpreting it was like, if Ariana doesn't do this
- 49:38Speaker 3: scene with Tom Sandoval, she's taking food out of, you know,
- 49:41Speaker 3: Little Summer Moon and Ocean's Mouth, which, when you say
- 49:45Speaker 3: it like, it seems, yeah, it doesn't seem great. How
- 49:49Speaker 3: do you feel now about that time and how you're
- 49:53Speaker 3: being pushed in these directions and also being the breadwinner
- 49:57Speaker 3: of your family and this being the majority of your
- 50:01Speaker 3: income is being a star on Vanderpump Rules?
- 50:03Speaker 2: It was frustrating at the time where I felt like
- 50:05Speaker 2: there was a big emotional weight put on Lala and
- 50:08Speaker 2: I to carry out this Tom storyline. You know, I
- 50:11Speaker 2: obviously had extreme sympathy for the mental state he was in.
- 50:16Speaker 2: going through losing someone very close to me to suicide
- 50:19Speaker 2: in my past. So that definitely struck a chord. Whether
- 50:23Speaker 2: Lisa knew that or not, I'm not sure. But that
- 50:25Speaker 2: kind of changed the path on how I was approaching him.
- 50:28Speaker 2: I also knew that if I continued to project anger
- 50:31Speaker 2: and hate on him, then I kind of had to
- 50:33Speaker 2: keep doing that to my husband. And I wanted to
- 50:35Speaker 2: work towards forgiving my husband. But then did that mean
- 50:38Speaker 2: I had to forgive Tom? And it was this whole
- 50:40Speaker 2: inner battle with me. And people want to go and say,
- 50:43Speaker 2: you know, that I was so jealous of Ariana for
- 50:45Speaker 2: getting Dancing with the Stars and all these opportunities. And
- 50:48Speaker 2: now I'm trying to have my Ariana moment. And I'm like, no,
- 50:52Speaker 2: I'm not trying to have that at all. I'm just
- 50:53Speaker 2: trying to give some more context. And also I think
- 50:57Speaker 2: if anything, one thing that I was envious of, of Ariana,
- 51:02Speaker 2: it was two things. Actually, she got to just walk
- 51:04Speaker 2: away from the relationship. She got betrayed and she got
- 51:07Speaker 2: to leave. It wasn't that easy for me, but also
- 51:10Speaker 2: one thing that I envy that I also have so
- 51:13Speaker 2: much respect for are how strong her boundaries are, because
- 51:16Speaker 2: that's something that I struggle with. And now in hindsight,
- 51:20Speaker 2: looking back, She didn't owe it to anyone to have
- 51:23Speaker 2: a conversation with Tom. Not me, not production, not the network,
- 51:27Speaker 2: not anyone. She lived her truth. She was real on
- 51:32Speaker 2: reality TV. She was authentic. And that meant walking away.
- 51:36Speaker 2: And in the moment, it was frustrating when I felt
- 51:39Speaker 2: like I was picking up the pieces of a job
- 51:41Speaker 2: that I didn't want to do to fill in for her.
- 51:44Speaker 2: But now looking back, I'm like, she handled that like
- 51:48Speaker 2: such a boss. And I didn't handle it as well
- 51:52Speaker 2: as I could have. I also felt like my entire
- 51:55Speaker 2: world was crashing down on me. And the one thing
- 51:58Speaker 2: I was good at doing was my job.
- 52:00Speaker 3: So have you, you know, I know that you are
- 52:05Speaker 3: happy for her and she's just killing it on, you know.
- 52:09Speaker 3: And it is amazing that she's on the show that
- 52:11Speaker 3: is the most talked about show right now with the
- 52:14Speaker 3: Love Island and doing great. And I have no doubt
- 52:18Speaker 3: that you are happy for her. But where is your friendship?
- 52:22Speaker 3: Has she reached out since your book came out? Have
- 52:25Speaker 3: by any chance has she read it or at least
- 52:27Speaker 3: read interviews in which you spoke about her?
- 52:29Speaker 2: We haven't talked since anything has come out with the book.
- 52:32Speaker 2: I did send her a copy of it. So not
- 52:35Speaker 2: sure yet. if she's gotten that ready yet, I know
- 52:38Speaker 2: she said on Amanda Hirsch's podcast, she's more of an
- 52:41Speaker 2: audio book girl. So it does come with a, you know,
- 52:44Speaker 2: audio book credit or whatever. But I mean, I hope
- 52:47Speaker 2: she reads it. I hope she listens. And, you know,
- 52:51Speaker 2: I hope we can have a conversation about it one day,
- 52:54Speaker 2: but I completely respect her boundaries. I understand that I
- 53:00Speaker 2: hurt her. I hope she understands where I felt hurt
- 53:03Speaker 2: in this situation as well. But At the end of
- 53:06Speaker 2: the day, I was the one hiding something. And I
- 53:10Speaker 2: am a really good actress, apparently, because no one fucking knew.
- 53:15Speaker 2: I said in the book, you know, I wished she
- 53:17Speaker 2: would have noticed because I would have thought she knew
- 53:19Speaker 2: me better than that. But then even after I wrote
- 53:22Speaker 2: the book, I thought about it. I'm like, my mom
- 53:24Speaker 2: didn't notice. My sister didn't notice. People closest to me
- 53:28Speaker 2: did not notice because I just acted like everything was
- 53:32Speaker 2: fine and dandy. So that's not her fault. That can't
- 53:35Speaker 2: be on her, you know, but I guess I just
- 53:39Speaker 2: wished that maybe back then those closest to me checked
- 53:43Speaker 2: in on me a little more and I like, but
- 53:45Speaker 2: how are you? You seem a little off because I'm like,
- 53:47Speaker 2: did I just fool all of you guys like that? Well,
- 53:50Speaker 2: like no one ever noticed that something was just like,
- 53:53Speaker 2: why is this affecting you so much? Why are you
- 53:56Speaker 2: going so hard on Tom? Why are you trying to like?
- 53:58Speaker 3: Yeah, but you know, I'm going to tell you, seeing
- 54:02Speaker 3: that I just read the book, You have a real pattern,
- 54:06Speaker 3: and I'm sure maybe you've realized you haven't, of you
- 54:10Speaker 3: take care of all these men in your life, you know,
- 54:14Speaker 3: and the same thing happened with Shay. You, Mike Shay,
- 54:17Speaker 3: you put him, you know, he was on the show,
- 54:19Speaker 3: you married him, you had cold feet the day you
- 54:22Speaker 3: got married, you, and you have that scene with a
- 54:25Speaker 3: couple of the girls and they say, and the producer says,
- 54:28Speaker 3: what is off? And again, you only give half of
- 54:32Speaker 3: what was off, which was you're pretty, he was lying
- 54:35Speaker 3: to you. I remember we talked about this on the first,
- 54:39Speaker 3: I think the first time he came on Juicy Scoop,
- 54:41Speaker 3: because I thought it was, you know, so compelling that
- 54:43Speaker 3: you realized he was abusing some type of, you know,
- 54:48Speaker 3: prescription drug that was not, he was not prescribed for.
- 54:51Speaker 3: And he, but he was lying. He was lying. You
- 54:54Speaker 3: knew that from phone situations. He borrowed your sister's phone.
- 54:57Speaker 3: You could check on an iCloud. But in the line
- 55:01Speaker 3: about where he was for possible drug and alcohol abuse,
- 55:05Speaker 3: you hid at that time from the show and from
- 55:08Speaker 3: some friends that you saw suspicious stuff of women writing
- 55:13Speaker 3: him and DMing him and all of that. So I
- 55:16Speaker 3: do feel that you have a real thing inside of
- 55:21Speaker 3: you to protect the men that you're with You've been
- 55:25Speaker 3: on this show for so long. And I think there's
- 55:28Speaker 3: something in that you bring these guys on, they're on
- 55:32Speaker 3: the show with you and they love you. But if
- 55:34Speaker 3: something doesn't go right, somehow you feel guilty because not
- 55:39Speaker 3: only is this a fight for a normal person, maybe
- 55:42Speaker 3: a few friends know, maybe a mother knows, but the
- 55:45Speaker 3: world knows that your boyfriend fucked up.
- 55:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:50Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, that's accurate. I don't really have any.
- 55:54Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, and I think that's kind of like,
- 55:57Speaker 3: I kept seeing it like in reading the book, you know,
- 56:00Speaker 3: whether it's, you know, the Eddie Cibrian who, you know, really,
- 56:05Speaker 3: I mean, you're right. You were 21. He was 33.
- 56:07Speaker 3: He didn't wear a ring. This was before Google. You
- 56:10Speaker 3: didn't know he was out with you at places. You
- 56:13Speaker 3: weren't exclusive. But then when you guys go to Mammoth
- 56:17Speaker 3: and he pays for your ski equipment and he teaches
- 56:19Speaker 3: you how to snowboard and you're with friends and how
- 56:25Speaker 3: would any, why would anybody expecting a second child with
- 56:30Speaker 3: a wife? And, you know, and so that was, I
- 56:34Speaker 3: was like, yeah, and that is a huge difference in
- 56:37Speaker 3: age difference and everything. And So, I mean, it was,
- 56:41Speaker 3: it's a very, what I think is so interesting about
- 56:43Speaker 3: the book is those beginning, those, those chapters all before
- 56:48Speaker 3: Vanderpump starts. And, you know, you living in your, your
- 56:52Speaker 3: cute apartment, I know exactly the, the building you mean.
- 56:55Speaker 2: The fontanoi?
- 56:57Speaker 3: Yeah. It also makes you a little bit sad as
- 57:00Speaker 3: a native Angeleno, how much LA has changed. Because I
- 57:05Speaker 3: had a similar, such though I'm older than you, like,
- 57:08Speaker 3: you know, 25 years ago when I was, you know,
- 57:11Speaker 3: living the Brentwood life and doing groundlings and standup, I
- 57:14Speaker 3: had all those fun stories, which is in my book.
- 57:17Speaker 3: You'll never blue ball this town again. You talked about
- 57:20Speaker 3: all the guys you fucked. I talked about the ones
- 57:22Speaker 3: I dry humped, but it was a lot of those
- 57:25Speaker 3: fun stories that I do when younger people read it.
- 57:27Speaker 3: They're like, Oh my God, you went on this date
- 57:29Speaker 3: and you went on this date. Like people don't date anymore.
- 57:32Speaker 3: Oh my God, your neighborhood sounds so cute. It kind
- 57:34Speaker 3: of makes me sad. And I'm praying that like Los
- 57:38Speaker 3: Angeles can get cute again. Cause it feels like, I
- 57:41Speaker 3: don't know that a girl could like live the life
- 57:43Speaker 3: that you and I live now in LA, the way
- 57:45Speaker 3: we lived it, you know, it sucks.
- 57:47Speaker 2: It's so different. I mean, just even with social media,
- 57:50Speaker 2: camera phones, like it's changed just so much. I felt like,
- 57:55Speaker 2: my generation was the last one where we got that
- 57:58Speaker 2: normalcy at a club where you could go out any
- 58:00Speaker 2: night of the week, see Britney Spears, 2000 or 2007
- 58:04Speaker 2: in a blue wig at Ladue. And no one's taking
- 58:07Speaker 2: photos of her unless, you know, paparazzi is outside. It
- 58:09Speaker 2: was just like, what a time.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Right. Yeah. So, so that was all really cool. Now,
- 58:15Speaker 3: another juicy thing is kind of like you, um, your
- 58:19Speaker 3: relationships with like threesomes and girls, and even one time
- 58:22Speaker 3: you say, at one time you started to catch feelings
- 58:26Speaker 3: for one of these girls. And I feel like that
- 58:28Speaker 3: is something that It's pretty juicy to someone like me.
- 58:32Speaker 3: I don't have friends that are married to men that
- 58:36Speaker 3: had relationships with girls prior. I know it's like a
- 58:39Speaker 3: much more fluid time, but you know, we, we know
- 58:42Speaker 3: from the show, Kristen and Brittany allegedly had a, a
- 58:47Speaker 3: one night, you know, eat out. And then, and then
- 58:51Speaker 3: Lala and Ariana did. And then you talk about Don,
- 58:54Speaker 3: how do you pronounce your name?
- 58:55Speaker 2: Donya?
- 58:56Speaker 3: Dania? Dana?
- 58:58Speaker 2: Oh, no, that wasn't Dana who I was talking about.
- 58:59Speaker 3: Wasn't there one girl that you said when you're pissed
- 59:02Speaker 3: at Brock, you made out with her at a concert?
- 59:05Speaker 2: Oh, that was Dana.
- 59:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 59:06Speaker 2: No, Dana Kathan, like from the show.
- 59:08Speaker 3: But then there was another girl that you, I guess
- 59:11Speaker 3: you don't say who it is, but like you kind
- 59:13Speaker 3: of were like, oh, can you speak on that? Because
- 59:16Speaker 3: I think that's pretty juicy.
- 59:18Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, this was a girl who I met
- 59:21Speaker 2: at Stagecoach 2019 and It was at Neon Carnival, the
- 59:27Speaker 2: only time they've ever done a Neon Carnival for that.
- 59:29Speaker 2: The guy who she had just been with, I guess
- 59:33Speaker 2: she ran into or something with him. And then I
- 59:35Speaker 2: ran into Rob and his new girlfriend at Neon Carnival.
- 59:37Speaker 2: And I just wasn't in a good place. Some guys
- 59:40Speaker 2: from The Bachelorette Show, her friend was talking to one
- 59:42Speaker 2: of them. So it kind of ended up just being
- 59:45Speaker 2: the two of us at this after party. We totally
- 59:48Speaker 2: hit it off. We bonded. We met up the next
- 59:50Speaker 2: day for the festival. And it just felt like we
- 59:52Speaker 2: had known each other for so long. We had an
- 59:54Speaker 2: instant connection. And when we got back to LA, we
- 59:57Speaker 2: just started hanging out all of the time. We were inseparable.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: And then there was one night, I remember we're at
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: the shop bar at TomTom and she just grabbed my
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: face and kissed me. And I was like, what was that? Like,
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: I was not expecting that, but then also I didn't
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: hate it. And then it became a more regular thing
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: and then would be out and we would hold hands and...
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: we would have our little date nights and whatnot. And
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: I felt like maybe this could turn into something. Like,
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: I don't know if this is my forever, if this
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: is my future, but maybe it's my for now. Like
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: maybe we explore where this goes. And I felt like
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: both of us had deep feelings for each other, but
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I didn't know if either side was necessarily romantic. And
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: I didn't want to have like the talk. I was
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: too afraid of rejection and her being like, oh no, sweetie,
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: I just kissed you when I'm drunk. Like it's nothing more.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: So neither of us really ever had that conversation because
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: I met Brock that year. She was with me when
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: I met him. So that kind of transition of, I
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: don't know that this is going to turn into anything
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: because now I'm dating this guy and Brock was not
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: okay with it. When I kissed her one time when
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: we were all out together, after him and I were
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: already official. And so naturally we just kind of started
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: to distance from each other. We went from being inseparable,
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: talking all day, every day to just not hanging out much.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Then we go into a pandemic. Brock and I were
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: living at my house in Palm Springs. I actually gave
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: her my apartment in Marina to go to with her cat.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: I was like, there's just, there's more space there, like
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: go and quarantine there. And he knew that he was
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: fine with it. But then just slowly through the pandemic,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: we just kind of grew apart. And I felt like
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: it was a slow fallout. But I also knew the
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: day Brock and I made it official and when he
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: got so upset that I had kissed her again once
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: that I couldn't keep someone close to me in my
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: life who I did have feelings for, who, you know,
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: I was considering exploring something with. And Slowly, we just
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: kind of stopped talking. And she had sent me a
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: really long text, like one of those ones that you
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: have to click on to expand. I've never received a
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: text like that in my life. But after I read it,
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: I was just like, oh, my God, did I break
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: this girl's heart? Or does she just miss her friend? Like,
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: it was a very confusing time in my life because
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: I didn't fully explore what that was or what that
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: could have been because I met Brock. And Brock and
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: I just had a spark from the beginning as well.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: And that was the path I chose.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: So in your wild days of, you know, really the
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: wild days were all kind of pre-Vanderpump. But in your
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: wild days, you would have threesomes and stuff. But with
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: this girl, did you only kiss or would you go
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: all the way, just the two of you?
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: No, we didn't really make it to second base or anything.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: It was pretty much... Like cuddles, handholding, makeouts, like we
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: hadn't gotten to the next level. I wasn't against it necessarily.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: It just hadn't happened yet. And had I not met
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Brock when I did, if we, you know, had a
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: few more months together or however long, maybe it would
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: have crossed another line, but it hadn't gotten there yet.
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: So a couple other things. One, another thing that I
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: thought was really juicy in the book is when you
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: talk about how there was a editor named Brie. who
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: went on a podcast and laughed and said her favorite
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: thing to do was to edit all of Sheena's cringiest
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: moments together. And she got fired, which I'm like, God,
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: even the editors are thirsty to go on a podcast.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: Like what the fuck? Like, and I think I relate
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: to you as the pick me girl or whatever, because I,
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: you know, when I was on Chelsea lately, we, we
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: kind of had a heightened personas of the regulars and
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: we did a show called, um, you know, after lately,
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: which was like a Curb Your Enthusiasm. We were playing ourselves,
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: but it would be heightened stories, heightened. And so my
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: persona was literally on the poster, the fame whore, like
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: the fame, which is like, because I knew the Kardashians
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: because we live near each other. And before either of
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: us were an E, I knew them. So whatever. But meanwhile,
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: I'm the fame whore, but you're the one that's, you know,
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: hanging out with, you know, Jennifer Aniston and all these people. Okay, whatever.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: But I went along with it because, you know, I'm
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: like you ready down to do anything down to wear
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: a camel toe and an open sketch and have the
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: camera zoom in on my crotch. I did everything to
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: keep that fucking job and provide for the family. So
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: I totally relate to you. But that like that is heartbreaking.
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: But.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: It's also just like, I love that you included that
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: part and for people to know that. And part of
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: the thing of Rob putting up the TV in seven
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: minutes is, is a kind of a really fun moment.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: I actually think that should be embraced, but it also
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: made me go, you know, you kind of had this,
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: you know, husband, I'm sure he was a nice guy,
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: but you know, that Mike Shea wasn't doing that. And
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: these other guys, and this guy actually was capable of things.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: And I'm like, Rob was handy. But Brock the Builder
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: is handier. He is handier.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Literally, I cannot believe how impressed I was that the wall,
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: like the hinges, whatever it's called, like that framework was
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: already on his wall. He simply... Put it on.
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: And under seven minutes. But the fact that it took
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: him close to seven minutes to put a TV on
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: the brackets that were already in the wall. Not so impressive.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: Putting a hitch on a truck for the boat. Not
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: so impressive. But compared to my past relationship where I'm
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: the one hanging up the artwork in the house, I'm
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: the one fixing the Wi-Fi when it goes out, setting
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: up our landline. Because when we lived at Park La Brea,
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: we had no service. Just like all of those little
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: things like I was so used to doing. So the
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: fact that this man just put a TV on the wall,
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: I was like, Oh my.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: God, he's a man. I mean, that's amazing. Okay. Now
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: let's jump to the whole Santa ball thing with Raquel.
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: One of the things I didn't really know, and I
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: felt like I knew everything was, um, when you found
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: out when she blurts out after you guys were hanging
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: out that night after you watch what happens live, where
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: she says, I was having an affair with Tom Sandoval
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: for seven months. Ariana just found out. And your reaction
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: makes so much more sense when you read the book
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: because Lala was suspicious. Katie was suspicious. You asked her
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: point blank on more than one occasion if something was happening.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: And it was just, it was truly like such a
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: weird gaslight situation that, that just makes, you know, it
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: made so much more sense because Katie, It was a shock,
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: but it wasn't totally. It was more like even a
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: larger betrayal because you were like, we did ask. And
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: I was like, you're crazy, Lala. And like, I believe
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: her and all of that. Now, all this time passed, like,
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: what's your feelings now towards her? She had the podcast
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: tell all. She ended that. She appears to be doing
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: sound baths and like with a non-entertainment person. Do you
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: think that you would ever... want to have a conversation
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: with her?
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: Um, I think that would be up to her. She's
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: the one who has me blocked, but you know, she's
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: also the one who put me in the legal system.
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: That was just that when that was going on with
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: the restraining order and all that stuff, that was just shocking. Where,
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: where does, where does the case, and maybe you don't know,
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: where does the case, where's the case now with her and,
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: and suing Ariana and no.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Idea, honestly. Yeah.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: Their lawsuits. Cause I mean, even when we talk, it's
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: not about anything serious like that.
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean, going back to that, I just,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: I did feel like I needed to put that all
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: in the book because there was so much more to
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: the story that people didn't get, you know, and I
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: wish her nothing but the best, you know, I hope
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: she's happy in Arizona doing her sound baths. I think
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: she needed to get her side of the story out
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: on her podcast. And that's what she felt like she
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: needed to do. That's why I wrote a book, you know,
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: it can be cathartic, but I think it is healthiest
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: for her to have stepped out of the spotlight. And yeah,
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: I mean, I hope she's doing well, you know, enough
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: time has passed.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: It's I'm certainly not going to be reaching out.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: And how do you feel about the Valley as a show?
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: Have you enjoyed watching it? I mean, you're, you, you
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: show up, but you know, you're not a part of
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: the drama. You basically, you know, Janet's the drama and
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Janet was your friend and met you at an event,
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: which people are getting criticizing her. You know, she was
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: a fan. It's like, you approach people because you saw
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: them on a show. I mean, she's been around quite
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: a long time to finally make it on the show.
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: So what are your feelings towards all of that?
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: Well, and also people are acting like I posted, I
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: was going to be at the laundry on that day.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: Like I had an appearance and she sought me out.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: It just so happened. I went to the laundry on
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: that day and ran into her, you know, I think, um,
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, she's getting a ton of hate right
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: now and watching the show. I can understand why the
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: audience has certain perspectives. And, you know, hopefully one day
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: you're able to see more of her story and more context. And,
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: you know, she has her podcast and whatnot. So it
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: is hard to watch. Alex says, you know, he's like, yeah,
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: everyone's saying the show's dark. Like, yeah, it is. This
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: is reality. You know, people are going through dark shit.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: So it's hard to watch my friends go through such
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: hard times, you know, it is challenging to watch and
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: hopefully moving forward. It's a little more fun. And, um, you.
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: Know, I mean, I wonder being that she, you know,
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: was around it being your friend. We see her in
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: several episodes of Vanderpump rules. She was always like at
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: your parties and stuff. Even she probably thought out of
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: all the people to be on reality TV. Okay. I'm prepared.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: I'm prepared. I'm prepared. But the truth is, if it's
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: a reality show, yeah, you say something and you can't
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: put the toothpaste back in the bottle. And if it's juicy,
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: they're going to keep it. Even if she went running
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: up to them and said, hey, can you take out
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: the part that I said about Danny essaying? They wouldn't.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: So it's like, you know, there's nothing she can do
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: at this point. She was just, you know, in an argument.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: And when you're in arguments with people that you know,
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: if cameras weren't around, those things might've been said. It's like, yes,
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: you're on the clock, but you've been vacationing and you're
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: drinking and you're living your life. And like, you know,
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: it is, it is really hard, you know, to, to
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: be like, okay, what have I, you know, even when
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: in the book, when you're like, I didn't really want
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: to give them the wedding because they were like, we
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: don't want to see Brock anymore. And then they're like, well,
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: if you do the wedding, you know, and it's just
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: kind of like, but then again, you know, like I
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: have to give them something. So sure. Let's have a
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: fun wedding. Now, the thing that. Here you put the
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: wedding on the, on the show, besides us, maybe the
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: venue giving you a deal because they want to be
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: featured on the show. this, the show never gives you like, Hey,
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: here's 30,000 towards your wedding or do they?
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: No, there's a small budgets towards a tab for a party.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: It's like never more than a thousand dollars, like maybe
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: two to 500 where it's like, okay, we have this
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: at the tab or you get two drinks, like whatever
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: it is, there's a very, a bare minimum that gets
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: put towards these parties. So when you see all of
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: the housewives, um, with these elaborate parties and stuff, the
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: network is not paying for them. Production's not paying for them.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: We either get trade-offs and we get shit for free
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: for posting or we're paying for it out of our
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: own pocket. They did not contribute anything to my wedding
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: other than we were able to get some trades for
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: stuff because it was featured on the show. And I mean,
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: the wedding was incredible. So I was really happy that
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: they did end up filming it, but they didn't pay
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: for it at all.
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: And are you happy that you didn't wear a two-piece
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: wedding gown?
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: You know, it would have been probably a more appropriate
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: setting on the beach, but I wanted to go a
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: little more timeless, a little more classic. And that's what
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: I did. I felt like my first wedding too, I
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: regretted the color of my hair. Just like, why would
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: you have your wedding photos with this, you know, blonde
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: kind of highlight ombre look? Like that's not classic and timeless.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: I wanted my dark hair, but what am I going
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: to do? Retake our wedding photos? I mean, yeah.
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: And isn't it crazy that you know, the, the dress designer,
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: you know, and his husband that, that had, they said
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: the right last name and not just Tom, where they said,
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: we saw Raquel kissing Tom. They actually told you that.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: And you didn't inquire. You just assumed it was Tom Schwartz.
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: How different that's when, when I'm reading it, which reminds
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: me of like the Shakespearean plays that were too hard
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: for me to understand. And I get these things called
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: cliff notes and the way they would describe, you know, like,
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: so many things in your life too is like that
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: where you say, if I hadn't have, you know, been
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: hurt by this person, then I wouldn't have gone to
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: this party and I wouldn't have met this person. And
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: then this, I wouldn't have been on the, I wouldn't
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: have worked at Villa. And if I hadn't worked at
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: the Villa, then I wouldn't have got Villa Blanca. Then
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: I wouldn't have been on the show. And like, I
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: think that's like a really, a cool thing that you've
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: recognized in, in your writing as well and reflecting on
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: your life. Like I always say that too, like there's,
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: There's times where people go, do you have regrets? And
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: there's little regrets I have. I should have bought a
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: play set for my sons in my backyard, whatever. I
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: always bring that up a million times. My husband was like,
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: you could go down to the park, whatever. I would
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: have just liked to have a cup of coffee and
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: watch them play. But as far as like jobs, losing
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: out on a home that you maybe made an offer on,
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: all of those things, I will say, they all work out.
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: Like being fired from a job, breaking up with someone,
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: they all work out. It just might take months or years.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: And then one day you wake up and you're like,
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: thank God that happened. Thank God I told off that
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: person and the relationship ended in a negative way because
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: then I wouldn't have been at rock bottom and I
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: wouldn't have built this new business. Like all those things
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: have to happen. And so, you know, in concluding, like
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: there's just, it's a great book. I think it should
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: be a TV show. I think it should be a
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: scripted show. And I think that's what I'm going to
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: manifest for you in your new thing, that you will
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: be executive producing things that would be very interesting from
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: that time. I think now we're on almost 20 years.
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: You know, Happy Days was about the 50s. It came
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: out in the 70s. People are thirsting for stuff 20
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: years ago. And so I... I think it would be
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: a great show. I think people would love to see
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: LA during that time. And I think you are the,
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: the story of a girl that did all the right things.
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: She went to college. She took that class. I took
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: that same class with Marky Costello, that hosting class, all
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: those things, you know, thought you'd do all these things,
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: got into the beginnings of the explosion of reality TV,
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: but not the infancy of it. Like you were familiar
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: with it. And yeah, And then also like as you
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: embark on this, you know, the fact that you are,
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: you know, committed to your marriage and that this did
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: happen two years ago and you guys are still together
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: and working through it. How is he taking it? How
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: is he, Brock, dealing with it? Is he off social media?
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: Is he turning comments off? What are you guys doing
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: to get through this time while you also enjoy the
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: success of the book?
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: Yeah, trying to protect our peace, for sure. He has
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: had a hard time with it. He's trying to stay
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: off social media, stay out of the comment section. He
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: will be on my podcast next week, so we will
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: be going into more of this then. but it's been tough.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: You know, we've dealt with it privately for so long
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: and for the past eight, nine months, you know, with
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: family and the closest friends to us, but now it's
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: out there for the world. So it's not easy, you know,
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: having an Us Weekly cover that I'm so proud of,
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: but then the giant word cheating across my chest. It's like,
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: he's like, well, I was proud of you for getting
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: a cover, but like, I don't really want to post
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: that on my page. And I'm like, I understand, but
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: this is something that we chose to put in the
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: book and it is going to be a big topic
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: of conversation. Just know that, like, we're in this for
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: the long run. I'm not going anywhere. He's not going anywhere.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: We're committed to working on our relationship.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: You know, the thing that does tie everything together is
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: cheating and infidelity. You know, the show started because, you know,
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: they found out that you had an affair before he
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: got with Leanne. What's her name? Leanne Rimes. However, I
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: remember seeing... that it was the first story that came
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: out was Eddie Cibrian is cheating with Leanne Rimes. And
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: he's married to this woman, Brandi Glanville. No one had
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: heard of Brandi Glanville. They sought her out then. And
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: I remember my friend said, you know, the newest housewife
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is the girl that,
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: the woman that Eddie Cibrian cheated on. So she got
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: hired because he cheated with Leanne Rimes, who was a
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: bigger name. Then they brought Vanderpump in because you had
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: a history and put the scarlet letter on you. And
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: then the Scannibal thing exploded because that was so interesting
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: because not only was there a cheating layer, but it
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: was a layer with a best friend. And I think
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: the audience is women. And we do find this very
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: compelling to talk about. You know, it is, it's the
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: oldest sin in a marriage. It happens. You know, it
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: is why it's interesting. You know, if everybody on these
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: shows had perfect marriages and perfect friendships and perfect businesses
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: and They mostly those people don't get asked back like
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: or they don't get they don't get hired like it's
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: not juicy enough. And then they're like, come on with
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: a better storyline than your kid, you know, suffering with
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: a learning disability. Well, you're like, well, that's all I've got. Like,
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: what do you want? You want me to have a
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: you want me to just suddenly create something? And I
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: know none of these things are created. That's why I
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: was like, oh my God, seeing these like TikToks and
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: stuff of like, I think Sheena did it so that
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: she could sell books and finally get on Dancing with
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: the Stars.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: That is so not a goal of mine anymore. I'm
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: just like, that was a dream of Sheena from her
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: 20s and 30s. That's not a dream of Sheena in
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: her 40s.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: So if they ask today?
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: I know, you know, it is so much work.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, going on book tour right now is
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: stressing me out, leaving my daughter. I think I'm going
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: to bring her on the last leg for us because,
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: you know, being gone for five days and I'm back
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: for like one and a half.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: You have a huge tour going. You're doing, I see
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: lots of city wineries, which I've done those. Those are great, intimate,
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: good food and drink. Like what can they, if they
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: go to your live show, what can they expect and
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: why should they buy a ticket?
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: It's going to be such a fun show. Honestly, there's
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: going to be performances of some sort in every show.
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: The Austin show, I'm really excited to do for those performances.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: I am going to be giving very fun prizes away
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: at each show. And each show is going to be
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: a little different. I have some amazing guests who are
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: going to join me at different cities and different legs
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: of the tour. And it's just going to be very entertaining.
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: You know, there's the 92Y event with the chicks in
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: the office. That'll be more of a sit down, moderated,
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: serious discussion. But I do have something fun planned for
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: the end of that. And the rest of it, I mean,
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: it's going to be an entertaining, live, fun show.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: Yes. Well, thank you so much. Everybody get the book.
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: And if you prefer audio, get the audio. You know
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: where to find Sheena Shea and her podcast as well.
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: And your dates are on there. So if she's coming
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: to a city near you and you've got questions and
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: you want to see it, go see it. I do
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: like to read a book, especially if my friends have
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: written it. And I think you did a great job.
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: Thank you. And, you know, I wish you guys the best,
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: and I'll see you soon.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: before bed.
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: Or two, you know.
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: Nobody's watching.
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: You deserve a treat.
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: With eight flavors to choose from, you can choose the
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: flavor you favor with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
