- 0:03I think, yeah, I have been experimenting. Therefore,
- 0:08for those in tribe who have been on the porch
- 0:12and the tap and all the things as guests, specialists,
- 0:16guides, y 'all know we don't have a problem with
- 0:19going live. But I think because I have absolutely
- 0:22no idea who I'm talking to now, I think that's
- 0:25the weird part. But I have been experimenting.
- 0:28And so what I discovered is that. I have like
- 0:33200 and something followers. A couple of weeks
- 0:36ago, I realized that a person isn't able to go
- 0:40live on their page anymore unless they have like
- 0:43a certain amount of friends or followers. And
- 0:46being that I have two Facebook profiles, one
- 0:51with three friends and the other with six, I
- 0:53didn't qualify anymore. And I don't have any
- 0:56pages or any groups or anything like that. It's
- 1:01telling me my connection is slow, which is probably
- 1:04because I am in a different room. I should probably
- 1:06switch rooms, but I'm going to roll with this.
- 1:11So good morning, whoever has started following
- 1:16me that has given me enough people to allow me
- 1:18to go live and pop my shit. So here we are having
- 1:23coffee this morning. And it's still going to
- 1:28take me getting used to looking at the camera
- 1:30over here on the right. As opposed, I will never
- 1:33forgive the company that made this tablet who
- 1:36put the camera on the right and there's not a
- 1:39camera up at the top because it's just odd looking
- 1:42over here or looking at myself, which I don't
- 1:45even know what you all are saying. So we're all
- 1:47experimenting and learning together, especially
- 1:49for those of you who are. How do I want to say
- 1:53this? Especially for those of you who are. Maybe
- 1:57thinking about monetizing your content on Facebook,
- 2:05which I can't believe I just said because I don't
- 2:08believe in that. But that's going to be some
- 2:09of the things that I talked about and the experiment
- 2:11that I actually learned by accident. So me being
- 2:16me, I return to social media, get back on Facebook.
- 2:20I see all these different features and options
- 2:23and things telling me to. Look at this and look
- 2:26at that and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So
- 2:27I just start pushing buttons. And when I start
- 2:30pushing buttons, I accidentally turn this personal
- 2:37profile page into, I guess, a content creator
- 2:42page, which then ended up giving me a shit ton
- 2:47of access to metrics and analytics that I didn't
- 2:52know I had. So when I clicked on it, all of my
- 2:56six friends disappeared and then I see 200 and
- 3:00something followers. So here I am live taking
- 3:02advantage of this opportunity. But I actually,
- 3:06I do well at rambling. And this is what this
- 3:09talk is actually about. Rambling, trusting your
- 3:12intuition as opposed to following the rules because,
- 3:15because, because. First, I want to show you one
- 3:18of my favorite things that I absolutely love
- 3:20here in. Brazil. This is what we... Oh my gosh.
- 3:27So I'm going to have to tag... Okay, this is
- 3:30funny. I hadn't thought about this. But I know
- 3:32she's not awake. She may be awake. But I'm going
- 3:34to have to tag Miss Hines. Because Miss Hines
- 3:38came to rural America with me. And remember the
- 3:42beanbag toss to win like $1 ,000? That's basically
- 3:45what this is. I don't know if Brazilians have
- 3:48beanbag tosses. Okay, so here in Brazil, this
- 3:53is one of my favorite things. This is like a
- 3:56sandbag or a bean bag. And I got to get my glasses
- 4:00now. Oh, wait, wait, wait. Yeah, I'm going to
- 4:02have to just put my glasses on anyway. So listen.
- 4:04Hi, I could see. You could see me. All right.
- 4:07So let's see here. Oh, I don't know what this.
- 4:11I'm clicking buttons again, so I don't want Q
- 4:13&A. So here I am. And, uh. It's not going to
- 4:27let me tag anyone. I can't because I only have
- 4:32a couple of friends out here, which is the funniest
- 4:34thing. So if I'll tag her later in the... Oh,
- 4:38I know what I can do. Which is the funniest thing
- 4:44because I'll tag her when I'm done. So I don't
- 4:48know how many minutes I'm in. Oh, it's got a
- 4:53bunch of little things. So there is like a poll
- 4:55down here. So I'm going to tell you what you
- 4:57can see now. I'm going to tell you what you can
- 5:02see that we weren't able to see when we used
- 5:05to do lives all the time. There is a poll option
- 5:09on here. There is a question and answer option.
- 5:14There is an invite viewers to broadcast. I go
- 5:17live with you, I guess. There is. invite friends
- 5:22to watch but because i only have three friends
- 5:25on here that's not gonna work i know people are
- 5:28like three friends again i have more followers
- 5:31than friends on here because i'm known to be
- 5:33unfriending people and oh then there's like a
- 5:38comment section okay so i'm going to tag my other
- 5:43self and then that's me and my profile oh will
- 5:56it show my other profile okay yeah okay oh so
- 6:02okay so on this profile i have 249 followers
- 6:05and on my other profile i have six friends and
- 6:0836 followers so i am going to go ahead and send
- 6:13a message to myself and talk about the bean bags
- 6:14so that i can market okay so these are little
- 6:19sandbags and you can buy these pretty much at
- 6:21like might be the equivalent of like the little
- 6:24corner store or the bodega or whatever so that
- 6:27your doors don't slam now this is even funnier
- 6:30because everybody keeps their windows open there's
- 6:33no screens on the door and depending on where
- 6:35you live you get a good airflow and the doors
- 6:38slam shut and i just think these are the cutest
- 6:43thing because they're just like simply made and
- 6:46it's like patchwork material and for those of
- 6:49you who know me know that i used to really love
- 6:52using nana's little patches of material to make
- 6:56things and so yeah but i didn't even i only have
- 7:01one of them where i am right now but if i had
- 7:04this in the bathroom i probably wouldn't have
- 7:06gotten stuck in the bathroom a couple of weeks
- 7:08ago and i would not have been needing to get
- 7:12rescued but They're very similar to the things
- 7:15that we use or people, I don't, you know, when
- 7:18they do beanbag tosses. Okay, but that's enough.
- 7:20So let me talk about the things that I want to
- 7:22talk about today. So I had to buy a ton of Band
- 7:27-Aids. First, I didn't have any Band -Aids. I
- 7:33had like, you know, like a couple of Band -Aids
- 7:38and the travel Band -Aid thing that you get.
- 7:42I ran out, not like I used them. I think when
- 7:45I put it in my travel bag, I only had one. And
- 7:50me being me, clumsy, I needed a Band -Aid. But
- 7:55I wasn't even being clumsy in this situation.
- 7:58I went to my apartment in the interior, in the
- 8:01gumbo, in the countryside. And I was a little
- 8:05happy, got a little happy. i got a little outside
- 8:08of myself and i pulled a rookie move and i didn't
- 8:13spray with bug spray now i have lived in places
- 8:19where mosquitoes are very bad before florida
- 8:23what i haven't seen here are like the no seems
- 8:28haven't experienced that but i'm familiar with
- 8:32mosquitoes it's not anything new to me or whatever
- 8:34i've received tons of mosquito bites and never
- 8:37had an allergic reaction when i first moved here
- 8:41and then moved to the combo i had the worst allergic
- 8:47reactions to mosquito bites when i first when
- 8:52i got my first blister i thought that i had burned
- 8:54myself because i was messing with some hot water
- 8:56it splashed on me and i thought it was like a
- 9:00hot water burn blister no come to find out later
- 9:04on that it was a mosquito bite So then when I
- 9:08went outside and I'm there in the countryside,
- 9:10I cover up. So how I dress in the city is completely
- 9:13different than how I dress in the countryside.
- 9:15The two different communities and people and
- 9:20friends would not recognize me. So much so that
- 9:24I took one of my friends to the compo with me
- 9:26a couple of weeks ago and I had told him, I was
- 9:29like, the way that I dress here in the city is
- 9:32not in the compo. In the compo, everybody thinks
- 9:34that I'm a... They think that I'm a rich rancher
- 9:38woman because I have my jean shirt on, long sleeves
- 9:41and jeans and boots and socks. And I have my
- 9:46hat on because I'm trying not to get eaten up.
- 9:51And yes, I still spray. And yes, they still get
- 9:54me. Because yes, I get the bad mosquito bites
- 9:57and the allergic reaction. However, that's not
- 9:59going to stop me from going outside, outside.
- 10:02So that's how I dress in the countryside. But
- 10:05when I went a couple of weeks ago and took them,
- 10:07I just had on a sundress. Wasn't even thinking.
- 10:11And then I get there and I'm outside and I'm
- 10:15just like so happy to see the water, to see the
- 10:18trees. And I'm just taking my shoes off. Delightful.
- 10:23And then I start itching. The ants, yeah, they
- 10:26get me. I knew some of them were ant bites or
- 10:28whatever and probably some random spider bites
- 10:31and whatever. But then I just start itching.
- 10:34Like my butt starts burning. My ankles start
- 10:37burning. My shoulders start burning. And I'm
- 10:39like, shit, I forgot that I didn't spray before
- 10:42I got here. So I go to my apartment and I end
- 10:45up spraying. But by that point, it was too late.
- 10:47The next morning, I'm back in the city. I wake
- 10:50up. Horrible blisters. Rash. I had welts on like
- 10:56my butt and other parts that I won't mention.
- 10:59And all I was thinking was. Oh God, please don't
- 11:02let this turn into blisters like it did last
- 11:04time. Thankfully, the one on my behind and other
- 11:08parts did not turn into big blisters except for
- 11:11the one that was on my ankle. And I was like,
- 11:13gosh, because the first time that it happened
- 11:15to me last year and I got the blister on my leg
- 11:19and my somewhere else, I still have the scar.
- 11:23They're like little, perfectly little round coin
- 11:26size marks, right? I shit you not was like at
- 11:32least this big, this fucking big. And I was like,
- 11:36I don't do well with Uzi. I don't like seeing
- 11:39my own blood. I don't like seeing like I look
- 11:43fluids, bodily fluids ain't my thing. So I was
- 11:47just like, I really don't want to deal with this
- 11:49or whatever. Right. So I put the one little bandaid
- 11:52on that I had. And over the next few days, it
- 11:56got bigger and bigger and bigger to the point
- 11:59where I ended up having to get some toilet paper
- 12:02and a band -aid or some tape or something to
- 12:06cover it up. I had to leave the house, go to
- 12:09the pharmacy, and find bandages and a cream because
- 12:15I needed an anti -itch cream or whatever, right?
- 12:18I have all of this stuff back in my other apartment,
- 12:21but I don't have it here because... city like
- 12:24where do i need band -aids and ointments and
- 12:25all the things for because i'm not really going
- 12:27outside outside and i'm not getting bit by bugs
- 12:29but it's always helpful to have band -aids in
- 12:33case of an emergency but i didn't have those
- 12:35so anyways i get to the pharmacy and i'm talking
- 12:37to her and i'm telling her about the cream and
- 12:39she's like Oh no, that is a spider bite. You
- 12:43are probably going to die. Your leg is going
- 12:46to like turn black and fall off. And I'm like,
- 12:48oh my God, like, please don't tell me that. She's
- 12:50like, no, you need to go to the hospital. I'm
- 12:51like, yeah, I'm not going to the hospital. I
- 12:54don't need that in my life either. I literally
- 12:55just managed to stay off the news from getting
- 12:57rescued out of my bathroom. So I'm not going
- 13:00to the emergency room for whatever this is. This
- 13:04is going to heal itself or whatever. So I convinced
- 13:07her to give me the cream. I already knew that
- 13:10I was allergic. I had looked it up. It's like
- 13:12Jeter juice or whatever, right? Just, I don't
- 13:17know what it is about this certain mosquito that's
- 13:19here, but it causes me to have really bad blisters.
- 13:22You can look it up for yourself. Allergic reaction
- 13:25to mosquito bites. And you'll see these things
- 13:27that look like horrible fucking boils. Anyway,
- 13:33I get the bandages and it took about a week.
- 13:39before it stopped growing and then it did its
- 13:42thing and then it decided that it was going to
- 13:45release and then in the points of releasing I
- 13:50was grossed out the whole time so now it's just
- 13:52to the point where it's flat and whatever but
- 13:54it looks like gross and I had to go buy some
- 14:00more band -aids and so once I bought the first
- 14:02box of band -aids I was like I'm going to go
- 14:05back to the pharmacy and I'm going to get more
- 14:07band -aids. And I was telling a friend here,
- 14:09I was saying, I feel so adult because I have
- 14:11band -aids in the house now. And not only did
- 14:14I buy band -aids, I bought like alcohol and,
- 14:16you know, the things like that to clean sores.
- 14:18I have other alcohol, but that's a whole different
- 14:20story. I miss rambling. So. the other day when
- 14:25i had to open a box to get a smaller band -aid
- 14:27because the thing is smaller now and you want
- 14:30you know one size doesn't fit all i was like
- 14:33why am i so giddy about having band -aids like
- 14:36this just excites me having band -aids and i
- 14:39was like oh this is like courtney's seven -year
- 14:41-old self who like five six seven who's like
- 14:46playing and hurts her leg on the bicycle and
- 14:48my grandma or great grandma or my mom or somebody's
- 14:51putting a band -aid on me it just makes me feel
- 14:54playful so that's my band -aid story so this
- 14:58morning it's rainy it was very rainy and windy
- 15:01last night and rainy this morning that's the
- 15:04weather today that is the weather report but
- 15:07the sun will probably come out it was beautiful
- 15:08yesterday yesterday was a holiday The day before
- 15:12that was a holiday. And I think Thursday is going
- 15:14to be another holiday. If you lived in New York
- 15:16and you've been in Jewish communities and there's
- 15:20a holiday like every other day, it's kind of
- 15:22like that here, but not as bad, but almost. And
- 15:25you don't know until you go somewhere and you're
- 15:26like, oh, there's a holiday. So what else do
- 15:30I have to talk about? So tomorrow I am going
- 15:33to go live on YouTube because I keep having people
- 15:37ask me about the skincare products or just. mentioning
- 15:41my skin, I'm going to always say that I have
- 15:44good genes. So there's that. I'm not going to
- 15:46lie to anyone and say, oh, it's because this
- 15:48and that. And I haven't had any work done or
- 15:50anything like that at 51. No. But when I arrived,
- 15:54the skin cream that I was using, which was nothing
- 15:57more than shea butter and coconut oil, haven't
- 16:00been able to find coconut oil here. I mean, little
- 16:02things, but like, you know, in the U .S. we can
- 16:05get the big thing of coconut oil or whatever.
- 16:07And the shea butter was too heavy. So I needed
- 16:13to find skincare products. But because I had
- 16:18already spent so much money trying to find other
- 16:20products that I like, I was like, I'm not going
- 16:22to waste money. Trial and error with skincare
- 16:26products. So I asked my Airbnb host at the time
- 16:31if he could recommend an aesthetician for me.
- 16:36And he was like, yeah. It was a black lady. And
- 16:40so I went to her. She's great. She doesn't speak
- 16:43English, but she's amazing. She's been in Forbes
- 16:45and she's from Brazil. And I don't know if she's
- 16:51from Bahia. She's located in Bahia. She's located
- 16:53in Salvador. But she recommended a product. I'm
- 17:00not going to tell it here, but the product that
- 17:02she recommends, the brand that she recommends
- 17:04and the different lines in that product, I absolutely
- 17:08love. And so I'm going to talk about those tomorrow.
- 17:11And I did reach out to her because we follow
- 17:13each other on Instagram and she actually has.
- 17:17One of the few people that has a website. She's
- 17:19great with her social media and things of that
- 17:21nature. And I asked her if it was okay if I mentioned
- 17:23her and the products that she gave me. She said
- 17:25yes. So I'm going to do that tomorrow. So if
- 17:29you're going to ask me, I'll talk about that
- 17:31tomorrow on YouTube. My friend's birthday was
- 17:35yesterday. And yesterday? This weekend. And so
- 17:39he is amazing. Jefferson. And I love him. bits
- 17:44and i'm hoping that we can do an interview together
- 17:47because i want everyone to see the chemistry
- 17:50and then go into how we met serendipitously and
- 17:53then how we met ties into where i actually live
- 17:58right now because this is a complete courtney
- 18:01only only you courtney story right um i have
- 18:07been looking at the windows so i have always
- 18:09wanted to live in a place where there's like
- 18:10floor ceiling windows that dream has come true
- 18:14However, I didn't think that through when I was
- 18:16thinking about it because somebody has to clean
- 18:18the windows, and I really need to clean my windows.
- 18:22I can see outside of them because I can still
- 18:24see the neighbor who gets up in the morning naked
- 18:26to come out onto his patio, the neighbor in another
- 18:29building who comes out onto his patio but asks
- 18:31naked to have a cigarette. And even when he doesn't
- 18:34have a cigarette, I'm interrupting myself right
- 18:39now because this is interesting. One of the things
- 18:42that I have on my list to talk about is the energy
- 18:46of Facebook and social media in general, specifically
- 18:49Facebook, that I felt when I first came back
- 18:53on here about a week or so ago. And I am feeling
- 18:57absolutely exhausted right now, energetically
- 19:01exhausted. Unlike when we used to be in the porch
- 19:06and you get that high in your energy or whatever,
- 19:09like my pits are sweaty. There's like this lack
- 19:16of reciprocity energetically or whatever. So
- 19:19let me just go ahead and talk about one of the
- 19:22things that I did have on my list as it relates
- 19:24to that. So the floor to ceiling windows, that
- 19:26dream has come true. But now I have to clean
- 19:29these windows unless I get a housekeeper, which
- 19:32I'm not going to do. And I'll talk about that
- 19:34later on. So AI and the algorithm. As for those
- 19:42of you who know me, know that I will just vanish.
- 19:46I will unfriend people. I will disappear for
- 19:48a while. It might be a couple of days. It might
- 19:50be a few weeks. It might be a few months or whatever,
- 19:53right? People get in their feelings about that.
- 19:56Yeah. Where is my pen? People. People get in
- 20:01their feelings about that or whatever. And I
- 20:03don't know what to tell you, but y 'all really
- 20:05need to take longer breaks or take breaks from
- 20:07social media. Because when I come back, especially
- 20:09on Facebook, it's like this Groundhog's Day loop.
- 20:15This energetic wormhole or vortex or something
- 20:20that's just like... The days look different for
- 20:26people, but the... It's like the days look different,
- 20:33but people are doing the exact same thing that
- 20:38they did 5, 10, 15, 20 years ago. It's like I've
- 20:43never seen the Truman Show, but maybe that's
- 20:45what it's like. So it's like people might have
- 20:48a different job, but it's still like this loop
- 20:52of the same kind of job, like no significant.
- 20:58I don't want to use the word growth, but no significant
- 21:01integration of the things being learned or whatever.
- 21:04Like even people that I've just started following
- 21:07years ago and because they, you know, did something
- 21:11or whatever. I don't know. And I look, I can
- 21:15disappear for a year and come back and it's like,
- 21:17yo, it's like the same conversation. It's the
- 21:19same thing. It's just the same thing. Energetically,
- 21:24it's literally the same thing. And even if it
- 21:27kind of looks different energetically, it's the
- 21:29same thing. So I got to thinking about this and
- 21:32I was like, you know, people shit on AI or whatever.
- 21:35I've written a blog post about my thoughts, my
- 21:38take on AI. You can find that on one of our websites,
- 21:43sexdeathpower .com. It's a two part. People shit
- 21:50on AI, but don't realize that the algorithm is
- 21:54not that much better. And even if you feel like
- 21:56you don't play into the algorithm, you do so
- 21:59much so that what you see is literally scripted
- 22:03by the people who are showing up more frequently.
- 22:11Right. So one of the things that I've learned
- 22:15now that I have this. access to this um i don't
- 22:19know different analytics and things of that nature
- 22:21is when so it'll show me a notification and i'm
- 22:25thinking that it's like a message or a notification
- 22:26from someone that i know i click on it and it's
- 22:30a message from meta facebook or whatever telling
- 22:33me oh you should try this these are suggested
- 22:36topics and blah blah blah blah blah like if you
- 22:39want to if so you don't monetize right away like
- 22:42it it turns it into like this little game or
- 22:45whatever right like if you want to monetize your
- 22:48and i'm just summarizing in my language you're
- 22:5110 steps away from monetization so if you do
- 22:54this today you earn a point if you do this three
- 22:58times this week you earn five points oh you're
- 23:02getting closer so it turns it into like this
- 23:04gamification of monitor to gamification towards
- 23:08i'm going to coin this it turns it into something
- 23:12like gaming gaming because people brain works
- 23:17that way right reward for the action like dogs
- 23:22with treats animals with treats when you're training
- 23:24animals or whatever right towards monetization
- 23:28and so many people hear success stories about
- 23:31how people are making money on facebook and this
- 23:33and that but what they're not telling you is
- 23:35that they're over here like circus animals jumping
- 23:38through hoops doing these things that facebook
- 23:42and meta or whatever is recommending on the back
- 23:45inside i ain't doing that so you are being gamed
- 23:53no matter what side you're on if you're in here
- 23:58facebook all of these social media apps or whatever
- 24:02whether you're actively participating creating
- 24:05content or if you're actively engaging or even
- 24:10if you are passively observing you are playing
- 24:14a role in the algorithm which is not any different
- 24:19than ai again ai is just the name to allow something
- 24:23to allow people to allow people to complain about
- 24:31because you can't complain about something if
- 24:33you don't have it a name but whatever we artificial
- 24:35intelligence has existed for longer than people
- 24:39realize and wow throat chakra like tighten it
- 24:47up like it's like stop talking about this shit
- 24:49or whatever right like i'm not gonna stop talking
- 24:51about this shit so so yeah I love experimenting.
- 25:03And I know some people who don't know me are
- 25:05watching this and like this, which is crazy.
- 25:07And like, this is funny. The algorithm. The other
- 25:13thing about AI, to be able to complain, list
- 25:24your reasons for not liking AI is a privilege.
- 25:27And I am going to tell you why. I'm going to
- 25:30tell you why that's a privilege. So let me just
- 25:33get my little pen and notepaper out here, right?
- 25:37AI algorithm and the privilege people have about
- 25:41crapping on AI. I bet some of you have never
- 25:50thought twice about the fact that you... it has
- 25:58been a privilege for you to know and be aware
- 26:04that there are house cleaners of all different
- 26:09cultures, races, right? So if you've had the
- 26:15privilege to be able to afford a house cleaner,
- 26:18whether it's frequently or infrequently, or if
- 26:21it was gifted to you or whatever, right? The
- 26:25person who showed up at your house, Maybe black,
- 26:28maybe white, maybe Latino. Here's one thing I
- 26:33do find interesting. We are in the year of 2026.
- 26:36How many of you can say that you have seen or
- 26:40hired a male house cleaner? We can talk all of
- 26:44this shit about progress and we can do all of
- 26:49this work around liberation and all the things.
- 26:54Listen, let me tell you something. I have a short
- 26:57list of things that I know that the world has
- 27:02not changed until I see a male house cleaner,
- 27:07meaning I call a company and a male house cleaner
- 27:12shows up at my door. Even better if it's a white
- 27:16male house cleaner, because that's going to break
- 27:18down all the stereotypes. So I don't want nobody
- 27:20telling me about you doing liberation work until
- 27:23we are at that point in society. And that's a
- 27:26norm. But I digress on that. So in the United
- 27:31States, it's not anything to see house keepers
- 27:36of different colors. And depending on where you
- 27:39live, you are more likely to find if you call
- 27:44a professional service, you're more likely to
- 27:46find that the house cleaning company that you
- 27:51find online or whatever is. Own and ran by a
- 27:57white woman, right? Which means white women like
- 27:59Molly maids, white women don't show up at your
- 28:02house and clean your toilet. You're not going
- 28:06to be there like, oh my God, like Karen is cleaning
- 28:10my toilet today. No, she's going to clean your
- 28:13toilet. She's going to make some good money,
- 28:15ask for a referral, send you to Google review
- 28:17and then reschedule you for the next one or whatever,
- 28:21right? Efficiency. Have you ever considered that
- 28:27there are people who not only have never seen
- 28:32someone other than a black woman clean their
- 28:36house, but has never even thought about any possibility
- 28:43or potential outside of black housekeepers? Now,
- 28:50color and things like that gets a little complicated
- 28:52here because Let me just keep this short and
- 28:54I'm just going to give you a quick overview.
- 28:56The people here who consider themselves white
- 28:58or the people here that people consider white
- 29:00would never be considered white in the United
- 29:02States. At best, they might be considered Dominican
- 29:06or Puerto Rican or Cuban at best on a very good
- 29:10wintry day or whatever at best, but they would
- 29:13never be considered white. So let's just say
- 29:15that. So with those people, they many have most
- 29:20a lot here. And when I say here, if we were to
- 29:24do the numbers, population -wise, more people
- 29:28have house cleaners like they do in other countries
- 29:33than people do in the United States. It just
- 29:36is what it is. And when I say house cleaners,
- 29:38that means somebody that's coming in at least
- 29:40once a week or twice a week or whatever, right?
- 29:44And they will probably... My ear is itching.
- 29:47There's so much more to talk about when it comes
- 29:49to this. this house cleaning thing or whatever,
- 29:51right? Because there's still apartments that
- 29:54have little room that have the house cleaner
- 29:56that used to stay in there and some of them still
- 29:58do that or whatever. But the laws state basically
- 30:00that you can't have a house cleaner come to your
- 30:02place more often than two days a week unless
- 30:05you start paying them benefits or whatever. So
- 30:08some people will have two different house cleaners
- 30:11to bypass that law. But that's not the point.
- 30:14My point is this. It dawned on me a few months
- 30:18ago, I was telling one of my friends who was
- 30:22born and raised here, I was, it hit me. I was
- 30:26like, yo, he's never had a meal cooked by anyone
- 30:29other than black women. Like he's never had a
- 30:33meal cooked by a white man. Like how it's nothing
- 30:36for us to go into a restaurant and the owner
- 30:38or the cook might be white and or the chef or
- 30:41the waiter that might be white. You ain't gonna
- 30:43see that here or whatever, right? He was like,
- 30:45no. And I was just like. You're in your 30s.
- 30:51These are the things that I'm talking about,
- 30:54right? We don't know what we don't know. And
- 30:56this is the shit that's not shown on social media
- 30:58or television or whatever. But you don't know
- 31:01what questions to ask because it's just so far
- 31:04from... It's just so far or whatever, right?
- 31:12So when I got to thinking about this, then I
- 31:14was just like, yo, many of them have never seen
- 31:17a white maid. Many of them have never seen a
- 31:21male maid house cleaner or whatever. Right. So
- 31:26I was like, OK, bet. Let me change this because
- 31:30representation matters. Right. I'm not going
- 31:32to go out and wrangle up some white maids or,
- 31:35you know, white cooks or anything like that because
- 31:38that wouldn't serve the purpose or whatever.
- 31:40So I started thinking about all the things that
- 31:43hit me that they have never seen. Just. in everyday
- 31:49life that's a norm to us that we take for granted
- 31:52and asking them had they ever seen it and then
- 31:58the look on their face like you know when somebody
- 32:01has like that awakening moment that aha moment
- 32:03it's just like yo and like for them trying to
- 32:06wrap their head around it I was like bet let
- 32:09me go and let me let me let me fix this so I
- 32:13went and made a series of videos of switching
- 32:18around the roles in the role -playing thing or
- 32:22whatever right and i said to my black friends
- 32:24here or the ones part of the mixed looking folks
- 32:32or whatever right let's just we we right here
- 32:36okay i'm not going cold talk right so And so
- 32:41I think, so one of them was a person in construction
- 32:44because I know a guy that's in construction here
- 32:46who's black, like that's his dream or whatever,
- 32:48right? To get into whatever. And then another
- 32:52one as a spiritual leader. And then another one
- 32:57who is, she is a designer. And so I made a video
- 33:02of her running a design, a big design. manufacturing
- 33:07i haven't thought about these videos in so long
- 33:11it's some funny shit i'm gonna have to go find
- 33:13them um i made a video of her in her factory
- 33:19and um there's nothing but white seamstress like
- 33:24an old seamstress white men and women and i know
- 33:29this might sound the r word That I can't say
- 33:33because I already have gotten in trouble. I've
- 33:36only been back on Facebook like a few days and
- 33:39I've already gotten in trouble, but whatever.
- 33:41They said I said something that I didn't say,
- 33:43but if I did say it, it was out of context. I
- 33:45wasn't promoting the thing. I was just making
- 33:47mention of it or whatever, but basically I got
- 33:49warned. So I know this may sound the R word.
- 33:55But it's no different than the movie propaganda
- 33:58shit that we've been forced to watch most of
- 34:00our lives. And so because I don't have a large,
- 34:03I don't have, you know, Tyler Perry production
- 34:08money or whatever, and I have no interest in
- 34:10making movies like that or whatever. I just use
- 34:13AI to flip the representation and insert it.
- 34:19my friends who have never seen someone in the
- 34:22things that they do on a small scale or whatever
- 34:25right because ain't nobody and even the producers
- 34:27that make the movies like yo they still be trying
- 34:30to still constantly pushing the very stereotypical
- 34:34black movies movies for black people on us when
- 34:37there's so many different topics that they could
- 34:39talk about or whatever but so the other video
- 34:43that i made was um A boardroom with black people
- 34:49and or maybe it was in a kitchen. I can't remember
- 34:51what the setting was or whatever. And it had
- 34:54white like housekeepers serving them on beautiful
- 35:00trays and things of that nature. And then I had
- 35:03I probably shouldn't even be talking about this
- 35:06online, but whatever. And then I had one where
- 35:12there was people. of a certain color in a tobacco
- 35:18field and a woman, a black woman on a horse overseeing
- 35:23them working the tobacco fields. And then there
- 35:27was one where there was a black woman in a luxurious
- 35:31bathroom. And she was basically telling a woman
- 35:36that was not melanated to, um, she missed the
- 35:42spot and cleaning the bathroom or whatever. Right.
- 35:44So, Don't come at me about AI because it's a
- 35:51privilege to be able to shit on AI when many
- 35:55people don't have the privilege to even have
- 35:57the imagination or have never seen a representation
- 36:02of anyone outside of themselves playing subservient
- 36:06to someone else. Social media. Social media is
- 36:16no longer social. Social media is just, I don't
- 36:22know. Like I, when I look at my analytics, I
- 36:27see so many views and people watch all the way
- 36:29through reels, videos or whatever. Very few comment.
- 36:34That's not being social. So hi lurkers. But y
- 36:38'all, these social media breaks are very important.
- 36:41They also help your algorithm. That's a free
- 36:44tip. I already talked about the profiles and
- 36:50what they tell you to do. Children. So I want
- 36:52to talk about children. Okay. If you don't know
- 36:55me, I hear so many people say, well, I can't
- 36:59because I have kids or she can do that. It's
- 37:02easy for her to say that because she doesn't
- 37:04have kids or her son is an adult or I didn't.
- 37:08Even people who kind of do a thing or whatever,
- 37:10but they only do it to a certain limit. People
- 37:12use your fucking kid. Excuse me. Sorry, Facebook.
- 37:16People use their kids as a lot of excuses for
- 37:20a lot of things. So, hi, my name is Courtney.
- 37:23What you don't know about me, yes, my son is
- 37:25an adult now. However, I went through hell when
- 37:29my child was younger to maintain my sovereignty
- 37:33and to get free. Side note. I got my services
- 37:40page set up. So if you would like to hire me,
- 37:42you can go to getfree .faafo .app. I just got
- 37:49that up yesterday. So anyway, yeah, don't come
- 37:54at me. Don't use, look, I don't want to hear,
- 37:58well, it's easy for me to say or easy for her
- 38:01to say or easy for him to say, me specifically,
- 38:05because I have been there. Many years ago, I
- 38:10have the court papers and the battle scars to
- 38:13prove it. So I did not use my child as an excuse
- 38:18for getting not getting free. Okay. I got that
- 38:24done. I'm going to have such a productive day
- 38:27because I have all I got. I'm going to be able
- 38:29to get all of this shit off of my chest because
- 38:31y 'all be walking around with. A long ass to
- 38:34do list of things you want to say and you ain't
- 38:36working your throat chakra and then you can't
- 38:38figure out why you're not feeling well and you're
- 38:41not getting things done. Speaking of getting
- 38:44things done. OK, on the porch and tap or whatever,
- 38:49you know, we always used to talk about doing
- 38:51something different. I have this long talk, this
- 38:53long lecture about people say that they're different
- 38:56yet. Every morning you get up out of bed on the
- 39:00same side of the bed. You drive to work the same
- 39:02route. You do the same shit every single morning
- 39:05talking about you're different. You're an enigma.
- 39:07You're a unicorn. You're awake, awakened, enlightened,
- 39:12a whole, but you are still on this pattern. And
- 39:17I would say, do something different. Break the
- 39:20pattern. Drive a different way to work. Roll
- 39:23out of bed a certain, a different way. Sleep
- 39:26at the foot of your, sleep with your head at
- 39:27the foot of the bed. Do break up the pattern.
- 39:31Break up the rhythm. Be the glitch in the matrix.
- 39:38The other day I was watching YouTube and I was
- 39:42watching this video of a woman who has a huge
- 39:45following. Like I got like 96 followers on YouTube
- 39:47or whatever, right? Or it's 96 subscribers. She's
- 39:51got like, I don't know. 300 000 or something
- 39:53like that or whatever right but it was so funny
- 39:56because i'm listening or whatever and she's talking
- 39:58she was like yo everybody she's like i had an
- 40:01epiphany she was like they keep us trapped and
- 40:05they keep us in in this loop of things that we
- 40:08can't even see because we don't do anything different
- 40:12and she literally said we wake up on the same
- 40:15side of bed every single morning we as if almost
- 40:19word for word from what the shit that I've been
- 40:21talking about since 2016. Don't make me pull
- 40:24out my receipts. And I just started laughing
- 40:27and I was like, yo, people are finally fucking
- 40:28realizing that this, this, this shit, like wake
- 40:33up, break up the pattern, be the glitch in the
- 40:37system, in the code, in the matrix. It knows
- 40:41when you're going to log into Facebook and who
- 40:44you're going to look for, what you're going to
- 40:45look at, and what caused you to go peek at this
- 40:47thing, who triggered you in your real life that
- 40:50you needed to go and escape on Facebook, why
- 40:52you deactivate, why we deactivate. They know
- 40:55before you know. Be the glitch. Do something.
- 41:01Be the glitch. And it doesn't even matter if
- 41:03you get banned. you then start to train the universe
- 41:08i've talked so much about like bend it to your
- 41:11will but you've got to play with it and you're
- 41:13going to make some mistakes and you're going
- 41:15to get your ass spanked a little bit but then
- 41:17you and the uni you got a sparring partner and
- 41:21then y 'all will have you know you'll start to
- 41:22form an understanding and then it'll become a
- 41:26dance or whatever as opposed to you just being
- 41:29enslaved to all of this or whatever none of this
- 41:33is real I talked about my naked neighbor. The
- 41:41weather. Oh, so I have a bunch of podcasts. So
- 41:46I have several different podcasts. So I have
- 41:48a podcast that's called for that, you know, matches
- 41:51the YouTube channel, which is move to Brazil.
- 41:57And then I have one behind closed doors. Brazil
- 42:02behind closed doors. And then I have FAA. F around
- 42:07and find out. with courtney that's my explicit
- 42:09one that's like where i just need to cuss and
- 42:12get some off of my chest or whatever that's that
- 42:16one and then i have one for the family tree and
- 42:19that's the um the franklin bell family uh whatever
- 42:25i'm trying not to show all of my goods under
- 42:27my dress because my leg is falling asleep but
- 42:30um I just totally distracted. That means it's
- 42:42going to be an interesting day. I have so many
- 42:44stories to tell you all. My podcast. I have a
- 42:49lot of podcasts. And I feel like somebody specifically
- 42:55is watching me right now. But I have a lot of
- 42:58different podcasts. And you can find those on
- 43:01all streaming platforms anyway. So check those
- 43:05out. I'll have to put the links in the comments
- 43:07section. All right. Oh, so I did a two hour YouTube
- 43:16video the other day, testing some things out,
- 43:20testing some people out. And that taught me to
- 43:25stop listening to these experts about what I
- 43:28should do because recorded, uploaded regular
- 43:30videos to YouTube. do not work for me and it
- 43:33takes so much damn time to edit and i was like
- 43:35i'm not doing this just to get like one or two
- 43:38views if that mind you right like that just doesn't
- 43:43work for me i'm not i don't do well with structure
- 43:46i do well with rambles which is interesting because
- 43:50someone might watch me ramble and they might
- 43:53be confused and turned off but energetically
- 43:57it works energetically Rambling works for me.
- 44:01It works for me quite well. And so I rambled.
- 44:06And me rambling for two hours and 22 minutes
- 44:10and I think seven seconds on YouTube the other
- 44:12day was a breakthrough. And it proved that I
- 44:17am always going to trust my intuition over the
- 44:22rules. Somebody needed to hear that today. And
- 44:25out of that... I was able to get some good stats.
- 44:29So now I can adjust who my audience is. Oh, so
- 44:38I talked about rambling. So there's some people
- 44:40who feel some kind of way about Courtney being
- 44:44in Brazil. And maybe I'll do, I'll come back
- 44:48and do a different video about that. I'm going
- 44:51to circle that and come back to that later. Would
- 44:56you all like to know who my typical audience
- 44:58is? I will share that later also because surprisingly
- 45:03but not surprisingly. I talked about the band
- 45:06-aids. I talked about tomorrow doing a live about
- 45:10the products that I use here. I talked about
- 45:12my friend's birthday and how I want to do an
- 45:15interview with him. I talked about the floor
- 45:18-to -ceiling windows. I talked about cleaning
- 45:20those Florida sailing windows. I talked about
- 45:23cleaners and the numbers here and kind of went
- 45:25into a longer ramble about that. One of the things
- 45:28that you'll hear people say about Brazil is that,
- 45:31oh, it's such a relaxed, laid -back environment.
- 45:35One. The people saying that are either coming
- 45:41on vacation, tourists, or they make enough money
- 45:47to be able to hire. house cleaner black women
- 45:52house cleaners for next to nothing so what people
- 46:00pay here for house cleaning is like how much
- 46:03it for four hours right because that's like the
- 46:06minimum is like how much it's costing some of
- 46:09y 'all to fill up a small car full of gas So,
- 46:16yeah, it's easy to say that there's a laid back
- 46:18culture. And so here's the thing. Even those
- 46:22that are service workers, which is the majority
- 46:25of the population in, let's just say, Bahia,
- 46:29the state that I live in, they do relax. It's
- 46:32kind of like that work hard, play hard. They
- 46:34work very long days. What no one is talking about
- 46:38is their long commutes. In the United States,
- 46:44a commute isn't really bad, right? But you're
- 46:46in your car and you're at maybe 45 minutes an
- 46:50hour, an hour and 30 minutes one way. That's
- 46:54like that breaking point where someone is deciding,
- 46:56am I going to take this job? Am I going to keep
- 46:59this job? Even in New York, like on the subway,
- 47:03if you are like, I got to commute 45 minutes
- 47:06to an hour, you're really thinking hard about
- 47:09life at that point. And like, is this job worth
- 47:11it? And that's on the subway. You're not driving.
- 47:14You're not doing anything. You may or may not
- 47:16be cramped. But if you're on the subway for 45
- 47:18minutes, you can pretty much assume at some point
- 47:21it's going to either be empty when you get on
- 47:23and starts to fill up or it's going to be emptier
- 47:25when you get off. None of you are on a city.
- 47:31No person watching this in the United States
- 47:34has sat on a bus for two hours each way on a
- 47:40bus to go to work. So these people who are saying,
- 47:45oh, it's such a relaxed culture and this and
- 47:47that and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. A lot
- 47:51of these people are getting up at four o 'clock
- 47:53in the morning to get on a bus by five to get
- 47:58to the city center to be on their feet all day
- 48:03for two hours. So five to be somewhere by seven
- 48:08or eight. Right. Two hours. And then get off
- 48:13at work at 5 o 'clock. And then on the bus again
- 48:17for another two hours. Not getting home until
- 48:217, 8 o 'clock. Let me tell you something. If
- 48:27that was me, guess what I'm going to want to
- 48:29do when I get home? Not a damn thing. Especially
- 48:33when I've been servicing wealthy tourists all
- 48:37day. I'm going to go to the local watering hole.
- 48:40I'm going to listen to some fucking music. Sorry,
- 48:43Facebook. I'm going to listen to some music.
- 48:47And I'm going to chill. So, work hard, rest harder.
- 48:56Critical thinking skills. Stop listening to everything
- 48:59everybody says. Ask questions. Ask why. Housing.
- 49:13I don't know what I have. Don't want to talk
- 49:17about. I'm not going to talk about housing right
- 49:19now. I'll talk about housing in a different video
- 49:21and how that compares. But I'm going to come
- 49:23back and I'm going to talk about all the lurkers,
- 49:25all the people feeling salty, feeling some kind
- 49:28of way about Courtney being in Brazil. Because
- 49:30y 'all the same of those who are some of the
- 49:33same people who have watched me have some of
- 49:35the biggest battles in my life. Live somewhere
- 49:38with no running water or no electricity. Y 'all
- 49:43forget the things that I put up with and have
- 49:48dealt with and would do again. And a lot of reasons
- 49:51just to prove a fucking point. I'm sorry, Facebook.
- 49:55Just to prove a point. So good morning. Nice
- 50:01to see you again. Ciao.
