Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, they just released this. This came this just breaking
- 0:02Speaker 1: news kind of in the entertainment world, Spider Man officially
- 0:05Speaker 1: beats Avengers endgame no Way, Brand New Day climbs to
- 0:09Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty million, the biggest opening weekend in
- 0:12Speaker 1: box office history.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Spider Man. That is amazing.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Yeah, that's so cool.
- 0:18Speaker 2: The amazing Spider Man.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Heyw what are three other things we need to know today?
- 0:22Speaker 3: What should have been a packed grand opening weekend turned
- 0:25Speaker 3: into an absolute devastating scene. A gunman open fired outside
- 0:29Speaker 3: a newly opened in and out in Twin Falls, Idaho,
- 0:32Speaker 3: killing three people and injuring seven others before dying from
- 0:36Speaker 3: a self inflicted gunshot wound. An off duty state trooper said,
- 0:39Speaker 3: an armed bystander bull fired at. I'm like two people
- 0:42Speaker 3: came in and fired at and police believe that their
- 0:43Speaker 3: intervention saved more people from getting hurt. They don't have
- 0:47Speaker 3: a motive right now, and of course they will definitely
- 0:49Speaker 3: be investigating superpowers may not just be a thing in
- 0:53Speaker 3: comic books anymore. Speaking of Spider Man, Neurolink, the company
- 0:58Speaker 3: owned by Elon Musk, is going to possibly give you
- 1:02Speaker 3: unbeatable eye sight sooner than you think.
- 1:04Speaker 4: In the next six or twelve months, we'll be doing
- 1:07Speaker 4: our first implants for vision, where even if somebody's completely blind,
- 1:10Speaker 4: we can write directly to the visual cortex. But long
- 1:14Speaker 4: term you would have a very high resolution and be
- 1:16Speaker 4: able to see in multi spectral wavelengths. You could see
- 1:19Speaker 4: an infrared, ultra violet radars. I guess the of a
- 1:22Speaker 4: power situation, and.
- 1:24Speaker 3: That's well, he said, six months, Yeah, six to twelve months,
- 1:28Speaker 3: so literally like in the next year. The device is
- 1:29Speaker 3: called blind Site. It's designed to just bypass your eyes
- 1:32Speaker 3: directly and just send the visions right to your brain.
- 1:35Speaker 1: You know. Friday after we saw Spider Man, we're driving
- 1:38Speaker 1: home and I we saw a SpaceX satellite.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they had went out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: It was freaking cool, like you saw go right over
- 1:44Speaker 1: Camelback yep. Yeah, but I guess it was in California,
- 1:48Speaker 1: but it was like you could see it perfect.
- 1:49Speaker 3: It's so crazy that you can see it here, Like
- 1:52Speaker 3: it just doesn't seem like that should be possible. So
- 1:54Speaker 3: the first women's professional baseball league game in nearly thirty
- 1:58Speaker 3: years went viral. It went viral for all the wrong
- 2:01Speaker 3: reasons before the first pitch was even made, because eighty
- 2:04Speaker 3: five year old Motown legend Martha Reeves and two backup
- 2:08Speaker 3: singers delivered the national anthem, and it wasn't great pole.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Can you see why.
- 2:22Speaker 5: So foul?
- 2:27Speaker 6: Why why you get it?
- 2:30Speaker 3: Of course people started stitching Fergie.
- 2:32Speaker 6: Which is worse.
- 2:34Speaker 5: I feel like Fergie wins that one.
- 2:37Speaker 3: I don't know because it was everyone else's.
- 2:41Speaker 5: Face is looking at for you. That added like the cringeness.
- 2:45Speaker 2: You know.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Well, I'm sure we'll get the videos of the faces
- 2:49Speaker 3: I was real soon. But if anything, maybe it just
- 2:52Speaker 3: brightens your day with a little laugh. And then maybe
- 2:54Speaker 3: it turns something not so great into something great. And
- 2:56Speaker 3: that's three things you need to know.
- 2:58Speaker 1: You know how, always have like special national whatever day.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It's today's natural whatever, like today's National Watermelonday. Today's also
- 3:03Speaker 1: a national grab some.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Nuts day for real, like some cash.
- 3:08Speaker 7: Maybe it's National grab some nuts Day, So do your
- 3:12Speaker 7: part and grab some nuts two day, but not too hard.
- 3:17Speaker 7: This special day only comes one time a year. So
- 3:21Speaker 7: somebody goes for your nuts, just buy them a couple
- 3:23Speaker 7: of bees. Some people have nuts to grab, some people don't.
- 3:29Speaker 7: If you can't find any nuts, don't mean you won't call.
- 3:33Speaker 7: I know there's one or two nuts in every.
- 3:35Speaker 6: Home natural crust. Martha Stewart celebrates August third and grab
- 3:42Speaker 6: some nuts day.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Just look at all these amazing nuts in front of me.
- 3:46Speaker 6: Martha likes looking at amazing nuts. I love nuts.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I love delicious fresh nuts.
- 3:51Speaker 6: She loves delicious fresh nuts. They will wait, we'll sort
- 3:54Speaker 6: of wheally flesh. You don't break the nut eat foot,
- 3:57Speaker 6: don't break the nutmeat. He's a very hard to crack
- 4:01Speaker 6: and enjoy. Grab some noots day.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Ye, what were you gonna say?
- 4:09Speaker 2: Rich movies, Oh, Peyton, I were talking about how the
- 4:12Speaker 2: drama is now streaming. Yeah, And there was a big
- 4:15Speaker 2: jump scare in that movie during a wedding where it's
- 4:17Speaker 2: like there's like some some feedback. And I found out
- 4:20Speaker 2: this weekend that the loudest noise ever in a movie
- 4:25Speaker 2: just happened in a movie that was released in the
- 4:27Speaker 2: last couple of weeks. So the loudest movie, I said,
- 4:30Speaker 2: I was Odyssey. Is it? By the way, the Cyclops
- 4:35Speaker 2: scream is like one hundred and twenty decibels And they
- 4:39Speaker 2: say that's the loudest noise ever in a movie theater.
- 4:42Speaker 2: I guess if you went to go see it in Imax,
- 4:45Speaker 2: then you really got the full thing. And I mean
- 4:47Speaker 2: that I think we talked about it. That's the scariest
- 4:50Speaker 2: thing I've ever heard.
- 4:51Speaker 5: It's so haunting. And what's so wild is that that
- 4:53Speaker 5: sydeclop scene doesn't happen until like an hour an hour
- 4:56Speaker 5: and a half into the movie, and before that, like
- 4:58Speaker 5: you can barely hear what they're saying, so that sound
- 5:01Speaker 5: is really really loud when you get to that part.
- 5:04Speaker 2: And I guess my daughter Audrey, when she was in
- 5:05Speaker 2: LA went to go see in four D where the
- 5:08Speaker 2: seats shake when everything happens, and she said, she's like,
- 5:12Speaker 2: that's it, no VR for me, no more four D.
- 5:15Speaker 2: She's like, I'm done. She's like it was too much.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I was worried for my life from there.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 5:19Speaker 2: She did not like it.
- 5:20Speaker 1: So this friend of mine went to go see it
- 5:21Speaker 1: when it first opened, and then his son wanted to
- 5:24Speaker 1: go see You with him, so he pretended he hadn't
- 5:27Speaker 1: seen it yet. So him and his son are watching
- 5:30Speaker 1: Odyssey and he was like, oh man, this park coming up.
- 5:34Speaker 1: You know, when you're with your son, you're like gets
- 5:35Speaker 1: excited for this part. And the kid was like, how
- 5:37Speaker 1: do you know? And then there was a part where
- 5:40Speaker 1: he goes because the three on movie, he knew exact
- 5:42Speaker 1: there's which part was boring and he knew that, hey,
- 5:45Speaker 1: this is a good time to go to the bathroom.
- 5:48Speaker 2: There's not many in the Odyssey that moves.
- 5:50Speaker 1: How do you know? It's good? Like, oh, I don't know,
- 5:51Speaker 1: that's what I read. That's just what I read. Anyway,
- 5:55Speaker 1: that's good. So that's the loudest part in the movie.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I think people like Kyle and I did you seek
- 6:00Speaker 1: I'm seeing?
- 6:01Speaker 4: Uh.
- 6:01Speaker 1: That part didn't bother me, probably because I had hearing issues.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I was like.
- 6:06Speaker 2: What's the cyclop saying?
- 6:08Speaker 1: I get words on the screen.
