- 6:50Speaker 8: Looking for Zoey one on one. But Laurie, you held
- 6:54Speaker 8: your own in this game. I feel like you are
- 6:56Speaker 8: definitely a Hillary Duffan. You are so pumped out on
- 6:59Speaker 8: the phone, so I feel like your Mariner. Anyway, Yay, yes,
- 7:03Speaker 8: thank you today, congratulations, you're gonna go see he'll do?
- 7:08Speaker 8: What is she?
- 7:09Speaker 2: I don't know when she's in time? She's here this Friday. Yeah,
- 7:15Speaker 2: all right, good, well you're going hold on the line.
- 7:17Speaker 2: What's theater?
- 7:18Speaker 1: Where is it?
- 7:18Speaker 5: The talking sick theater?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Oh? Good, good, good, good good. We got another Loriy
- 7:28Speaker 1: on the line, Laurie. What's up?
- 7:31Speaker 7: Oh?
- 7:31Speaker 4: Hi?
- 7:31Speaker 7: John Jay and Richard Kyle and and Peyton time. I
- 7:36Speaker 7: watched a documentary that I thought everyone might want to
- 7:40Speaker 7: watch on Amazon's Time and it's called Andre is an Idiot?
- 7:46Speaker 7: Any of you watched that?
- 7:47Speaker 2: I saw the screen shot for it, but I didn't
- 7:48Speaker 2: click on it because the thumbnail doesn't look appealing to me.
- 7:52Speaker 5: What is it about?
- 7:54Speaker 7: The thumbnail does not look appealing, And in fact, the
- 7:57Speaker 7: first like sixty seconds is kind of off putting.
- 8:01Speaker 1: But if you stick with it a little.
- 8:03Speaker 7: Bit, it's really funny. He gets diagnosed with cancer. That's
- 8:07Speaker 7: not a spoiler, but it follows him for about three three,
- 8:12Speaker 7: three and a half years, and it's actually really funny,
- 8:16Speaker 7: and he has a really fun attitude about it, and
- 8:20Speaker 7: it's very clever, and it's got really good messages too.
- 8:25Speaker 7: So I just thought you all would enjoy watching it.
- 8:29Speaker 6: Documentary pass away eventually? Is he okay?
- 8:34Speaker 7: He is no longer with us?
- 8:36Speaker 6: Yeah, sounds it's writing on rotten tomatoes.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Wow, she's just pretty.
- 8:44Speaker 5: That's hard to get I feel like, but.
- 8:46Speaker 1: It's sad then I don't. Yeah, I'm trying to stay
- 8:48Speaker 1: away from all the sad.
- 8:50Speaker 7: You could watch it until like the last fifteen minutes
- 8:54Speaker 7: or something and still enjoy it. But yeah, that's where
- 8:57Speaker 7: he starts with some really good messaging. Okay, you're welcome.
- 9:02Speaker 7: I hope I help some people like watch it and
- 9:05Speaker 7: get some good messaging from it.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Andrea is an idiot on Amazon, look John Jay.
- 9:09Speaker 4: One of the reviews actually says, Andrea is an idiot,
- 9:13Speaker 4: is by no means a downer.
- 9:14Speaker 1: A mischievous streak is present throughout. You know.
- 9:17Speaker 2: It's funny because I'm watching I'm almost done with Off Campus,
- 9:20Speaker 2: and like episode four or five, like the two main
- 9:25Speaker 2: stars are now together dating, which is what you want, right,
- 9:28Speaker 2: and I'm just anticipating that one of.
- 9:30Speaker 6: Them is gonna cheat on the other one and I'm like, uh,
- 9:33Speaker 6: they're gonna ruin a good thing.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Yeah, And it's like a normal rom com, but so far,
- 9:36Speaker 2: I only have one episode left and they haven't done
- 9:37Speaker 2: that yet. But then they get into the violence that
- 9:41Speaker 2: happened in each one of their pasts, which I don't
- 9:44Speaker 2: like either. I mean like I just want like happy.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Like you know, like when you watch The Rooster.
- 9:51Speaker 3: And like, yeah, Virgin Rivers kind of like that where
- 9:53Speaker 3: it's just like pretty much there's a little bit, but
- 9:55Speaker 3: they save you from the bat stuff.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Get it, kid, I get it, But I'm kind of like,
- 9:57Speaker 2: oh man, I just don't want to get this tension
- 9:59Speaker 2: and the characters and I don't and I get it,
- 10:02Speaker 2: and I don't want to see it. And then more yeah,
- 10:04Speaker 2: but even Ted Lasso, I mean, yeah, his dad, it
- 10:07Speaker 2: was bad news for his dad.
- 10:08Speaker 1: But the stuff on.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I only have one episode left off Campus and I
- 10:12Speaker 2: really really like that show, and I really like the
- 10:14Speaker 2: actors on that show. And I hope there's more. I
- 10:16Speaker 2: don't know how it ends yet. Does it end happy?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Or Andre is an idiot?
- 10:20Speaker 5: I'm not going to ruin anything.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I gotta tell you something else I watched. I watched
- 10:24Speaker 1: one episode of Girls. You guys ever watched Girls on HBO?
- 10:26Speaker 3: Oh?
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's funny because there is a remember that
- 10:32Speaker 2: guy on NBC. His name was Brian Williams. He was
- 10:34Speaker 2: a reporter, Yes, remember him. He got in trouble. He
- 10:37Speaker 2: got in trouble because he lied and said he was
- 10:39Speaker 2: in the Iraqi War or something and he never so
- 10:41Speaker 2: they fired him. His daughter is a famous actress. His
- 10:44Speaker 2: daughter is the one that's in Get Out. The white
- 10:46Speaker 2: girl that's with the black guys and and get Out.
- 10:48Speaker 2: That's his daughter. And he dropped a podcast on Netflix
- 10:52Speaker 2: and she's the first guest and I watched and she
- 10:56Speaker 2: was the star of Girls. And they go over her career,
- 10:58Speaker 2: how she was doing, how she became an extra, and
- 11:01Speaker 2: then she got noticed her and she got noticed there
- 11:03Speaker 2: and she got into nepotism because she's his daughter that
- 11:06Speaker 2: she was able to They did a story on her
- 11:08Speaker 2: because she made a video she was singing, and then
- 11:10Speaker 2: Lena Dunham, who's one of Titror Swift's best friend, saw
- 11:13Speaker 2: the YouTube video and cast and Girls and it snowballed
- 11:16Speaker 2: into all this stuff and they talk about this episode
- 11:19Speaker 2: of Girls that they said is one of the best
- 11:21Speaker 2: episodes in the.
- 11:22Speaker 1: History of television. And I'm like, is that for real?
- 11:26Speaker 2: Or is it because you're a dad talking to your
- 11:28Speaker 2: daughter that you say that. So I went to Girls
- 11:31Speaker 2: to go watch that episode, and when I'm going through
- 11:34Speaker 2: the Girls, it's pretty wild how many people on that
- 11:37Speaker 2: show have gone on to be massive stars.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Ruth from Ozark. So you guys used to watch it
- 11:44Speaker 1: because I never watched six seasons. Oh really, it seems
- 11:46Speaker 1: like a pretty good show.
- 11:48Speaker 2: But that episode twenty twelve, you're right, but that's what
- 11:52Speaker 2: they were because they talked about it be one of
- 11:53Speaker 2: the best episodes.
- 11:54Speaker 6: I went back to go watch it was.
- 11:55Speaker 2: It was okay, But I also don't know the history,
- 11:57Speaker 2: you know that of Marnie, what Marnie went through.
- 12:00Speaker 1: You know, Marnie was like, you know, she hooked up
- 12:02Speaker 1: with her Ax.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I feel like that show launched a lot of other
- 12:06Speaker 3: shows that have come since then. So you feel like
- 12:08Speaker 3: you've seen that show because so many people have copied
- 12:10Speaker 3: that formula of girls.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Also, I went to Hulu.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I think it was on Hulu, and you can watch
- 12:17Speaker 2: Love Island on Hulu, right, So it's because love I
- 12:20Speaker 2: think you want somewhere where you can watch the Love Island.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Where is it?
- 12:22Speaker 5: Peacock Peacock, Yeah, I didn't know it was on Hulu.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Hulu has Love Island. I think Australia, Oh a uk
- 12:28Speaker 4: alw is that wy?
- 12:29Speaker 1: Okay? Because you know what keeps beating it?
- 12:31Speaker 5: What?
- 12:31Speaker 1: General Hospital? Yeah?
- 12:33Speaker 5: Because it's not like the actual Love Island.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Okay, that makes it because I'm sit here going Peyton.
- 12:37Speaker 2: It's talking about Love Island forever, not once. If we
- 12:39Speaker 2: talked about General Hospital, I would think, like General Hospital,
- 12:43Speaker 2: soap barber around for fifty years. How is this beating
- 12:45Speaker 2: Love Island? Oh yeah, that's another Love Island?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah? How is Love Island Payton? What's the
- 12:49Speaker 1: latest of that?
- 12:50Speaker 8: It's a great They haven't really amped up the drama.
- 12:54Speaker 8: There was an episode I believe it dropped on Friday,
- 12:57Speaker 8: night and it was giving Bad Girls Club and I
- 13:00Speaker 8: loved it. That's the kind of reality TV that I crave,
- 13:03Speaker 8: and I feel like Love Island. They should have let
- 13:06Speaker 8: the girls go at it a little bit more. I
- 13:08Speaker 8: understand why they're trying to keep the peace, but just
- 13:11Speaker 8: know that the cassa more girls are back in the
- 13:14Speaker 8: villa and it is.
- 13:15Speaker 6: Chaotic, O good.
- 13:16Speaker 5: It is prime time TV.
- 13:19Speaker 3: A lot of people stopped me on well not a lot.
- 13:21Speaker 3: A few people stopped me on Saturday and said, you
- 13:23Speaker 3: were talking about how there's not enough drama.
- 13:25Speaker 6: Go home and watch it.
- 13:26Speaker 5: I know it.
- 13:27Speaker 6: What's they kicked up this weekend?
- 13:28Speaker 5: A very enjoyable watch.
- 13:30Speaker 2: We just got a text Peyton's voice is super raspy,
- 13:33Speaker 2: dehydrated or she needs to lay off the weed.
- 13:35Speaker 8: No, I'm just I coached a basketball tournament over the weekend,
- 13:39Speaker 8: so you know I was really projecting.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Yeah see she was screaming all weekend literally person on text.
- 13:47Speaker 1: How was the basketball game?
- 13:48Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, it was so it was so fun.
- 13:51Speaker 8: I'm kind of stepping into my new era of head coaching,
- 13:54Speaker 8: which is a really new challenge for me.
- 13:56Speaker 5: I always grew up playing.
- 13:57Speaker 8: But when you're in front of a bunch of girls
- 13:59Speaker 8: and drying a tea from the ex'es and the o's
- 14:01Speaker 8: of the game.
- 14:01Speaker 5: That can be really high pressure.
- 14:02Speaker 8: But on Saturday, we won our game at the buzzer
- 14:06Speaker 8: buzzer beater play drawn up, perfectly executed, and I got
- 14:10Speaker 8: to tell you, as someone that's been playing basketball for
- 14:12Speaker 8: the majority of her life, it felt way better to
- 14:16Speaker 8: coach a game with a buzzer beater than actually hitting
- 14:19Speaker 8: the buzzer beater. That's exciting because really see all of
- 14:22Speaker 8: these kids, they're so excited, they're so happy, and I
- 14:25Speaker 8: feel like that's the whole point of coaching, right, Yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 8: like trying just to give back and feedback into these kids.
- 14:31Speaker 5: It like truly makes my Hooperhart happy.
- 14:33Speaker 6: I'm so happy for them. Yeah, that's so great.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Yeah, well how is how was you? Rich you? How
- 14:38Speaker 1: was you?
- 14:39Speaker 8: How?
- 14:39Speaker 1: How was you? Miss Arizona a passion?
- 14:41Speaker 5: Oh?
- 14:41Speaker 3: Miss Arizona is in my seventh year. Did you guys
- 14:43Speaker 3: know that hosting Miss Arizona? So are the winnerless? I'm
- 14:48Speaker 3: sure you are. It is a really really long day.
- 14:51Speaker 3: And my wife, Stacy is the executive director, and you
- 14:54Speaker 3: guys know she's super lovely, but she is also very
- 14:56Speaker 3: intense when it comes to things being right. So when
- 15:01Speaker 3: I go hosted, I have to show up for dress
- 15:03Speaker 3: rehearsal about noon or so on that same Saturday. So
- 15:06Speaker 3: I'm pretty much on my feet from twelve to twelve,
- 15:09Speaker 3: like on being on. So it's a very long day,
- 15:13Speaker 3: but not nearly as hard as those girls were because
- 15:16Speaker 3: they're in heels, they're dancing, they're changing clothes, they're doing
- 15:19Speaker 3: interviews for.
- 15:20Speaker 6: That whole week.
- 15:21Speaker 3: So by the time Saturday comes, I don't even know
- 15:23Speaker 3: how they're standing, much less dancing and looking great and
- 15:25Speaker 3: all that.
- 15:26Speaker 6: But we did crown us a winner. It is miss chandler.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Ooh Vanessa vrata vog I believe is how you pronounce
- 15:34Speaker 3: her last name.
- 15:35Speaker 6: I put the video of her winning up on Instagram.
- 15:39Speaker 3: I think that they could have had maybe five or
- 15:40Speaker 3: six girls win the whole thing and be equally as awesome.
- 15:44Speaker 3: They had a really strong run. This girl can sing
- 15:47Speaker 3: her face off, so I think you'll be seeing her.
- 15:49Speaker 3: She'll do pretty well. And Stacey is home resting. She
- 15:53Speaker 3: looked exhausted. She had three twenty four hour days in
- 15:58Speaker 3: a row.
- 15:59Speaker 6: I don't even know, oh how she does it. I
- 16:01Speaker 6: feel like no idea.
- 16:02Speaker 1: The last year or so, you said you were done
- 16:04Speaker 1: host Ian.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Every year, I think I've done, And I think every
- 16:06Speaker 3: year that Stacy's going to be wanting to hand the
- 16:10Speaker 3: baton over. But I think she's just so close with
- 16:12Speaker 3: those girls. They love her and she loves them, so
- 16:14Speaker 3: I think she wants to do yet another one. So
- 16:16Speaker 3: I will probably do it next year. She'll probably do
- 16:18Speaker 3: it next year too.
- 16:19Speaker 4: So now where does Miss Arizona go? How long does
- 16:22Speaker 4: she prep to go?
- 16:23Speaker 3: On?
- 16:23Speaker 6: Is for miss usas fast?
- 16:26Speaker 3: It's Miss America and it's in September, so I mean
- 16:28Speaker 3: it comes up real quick. We're just getting ready to
- 16:31Speaker 3: start July. So she's got to pick her song that
- 16:33Speaker 3: she's going to do, and Miss teen does too. So
- 16:37Speaker 3: last year my band was the band that did the
- 16:39Speaker 3: backing track for the ones they sang too, and I
- 16:42Speaker 3: think we're doing that again this year.
- 16:43Speaker 4: So I was actually scrolling through Instagram with my kids
- 16:46Speaker 4: and we came upon Rich's video, the one of them
- 16:49Speaker 4: introducing you as the host Yeah, and they.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Were like in awe.
- 16:52Speaker 4: They were like, what he's hosting that?
- 16:56Speaker 5: That is so cool? How does he do that?
- 17:00Speaker 6: Did they not notice?
- 17:02Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 17:02Speaker 1: They were like Mommy, that sounds like you.
- 17:04Speaker 5: And I was like, that's not me.
- 17:05Speaker 1: But that's me, that's you.
- 17:08Speaker 5: How do He goes, that really sounded like you. Were
- 17:10Speaker 5: you there? Like, no, I don't think that's me.
- 17:12Speaker 2: I think, well, he goes, Rich goes to tell me
- 17:15Speaker 2: this morning. He goes, yeah, and she was after Kyle
- 17:17Speaker 2: did the intro and I was like, Kyle was there.
- 17:19Speaker 2: He's like, no, she did an intro for like four
- 17:21Speaker 2: years ago and they still use it.
- 17:22Speaker 6: I was like, yeah, you did.
- 17:25Speaker 3: You did that intro I don't know, three or four
- 17:26Speaker 3: years ago, and they recorded it and I'm still the
- 17:29Speaker 3: host so they don't have to switch it out perfect.
- 17:32Speaker 5: I love it. That's great.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Speaking of Instagram, I got to tell you guys a
- 17:36Speaker 2: quick story. I was at the mall, was returning I went.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I went to the mall a couple of weeks ago
- 17:40Speaker 2: and I bought a bunch of stuff from the store
- 17:42Speaker 2: I was at. And the under pressure for my wife
- 17:45Speaker 2: and the guy at the store was like, you have
- 17:47Speaker 2: a year to return this stuff.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Anyway, I went back to go return it. I didn't
- 17:50Speaker 1: wear any of it, so I went to go return.
- 17:51Speaker 2: It and I was by myself eating at Panda Express
- 17:55Speaker 2: in the food court.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I see this woman with her kids, and I follow
- 18:02Speaker 2: her on Instagram, on my fake Instagram account. She's got
- 18:05Speaker 2: a ton of followers, and on her Instagram account she's
- 18:09Speaker 2: full on active mom, you know what I mean, parenting,
- 18:12Speaker 2: and you see all the stuff, like you know, and
- 18:13Speaker 2: then if you really analyze the video, you know that
- 18:16Speaker 2: she puts up a tripod and you know that she's
- 18:18Speaker 2: doing all these things with her kids, and then she
- 18:21Speaker 2: edits it down and posts it right, very active parenting
- 18:24Speaker 2: on Instagram. And what I watched was her at a
- 18:27Speaker 2: table with the three kids on her phone the whole time.
- 18:31Speaker 6: Don't go to count exactly.
- 18:33Speaker 1: It was wild watching it, watching.
- 18:34Speaker 2: That, I think because I I'm kind of a fan
- 18:37Speaker 2: of her Instagram account and to see all that stuff
- 18:41Speaker 2: and then to see like the reality of it was
- 18:43Speaker 2: so different one.
- 18:46Speaker 6: But I think you can judge on that.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I know you can, but you also can't judge on
- 18:49Speaker 2: what you see on socialida. You can't not judge a
- 18:51Speaker 2: little though a little I.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Was like, I'm gonna take a picture and post it
- 18:54Speaker 1: and be like, oh really.
- 18:58Speaker 5: Phone just say it.
- 19:01Speaker 1: It was just something I noticed you trying to.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Make money for her kids, try to do her job.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Your judgemy, mommy. She's there all in.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Their little devices and they're trying to do stuff and
- 19:09Speaker 2: she's mommy. Mommy's got to filter.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Ye, she's got It was one of the day.
- 19:15Speaker 2: But I I've also had a dialogue with her in
- 19:19Speaker 2: the past. I helped her with some things in the past,
- 19:22Speaker 2: and so I'm not surprised.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Let me just say that if that makes.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Should we want to follow her now to her? Yeah,
- 19:30Speaker 3: no way, I just threw on the bush.
- 19:33Speaker 6: I just want to see.
- 19:34Speaker 5: He's talking her on her on his Yeah, always.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Stopping on My first Instagram is because I helped her
- 19:41Speaker 2: in a situation that she was in. She needed help,
- 19:43Speaker 2: and in the helping she said, please do not tell
- 19:46Speaker 2: people who I am.
- 19:46Speaker 1: People will get mad. Can you help me with this
- 19:49Speaker 1: situation I'm in? And I'm like absolutely, And then I
- 19:52Speaker 1: helped her in the situation.
- 19:53Speaker 2: So now four years later, I see this behind the
- 19:55Speaker 2: scenes stuff, which, by the way, matches the situation she
- 19:58Speaker 2: was in. If that makes it sure. If it doesn't,
- 20:01Speaker 2: it's all code. You'll never know who it is because
- 20:03Speaker 2: she doesn't live here. It was in another city. Anyway,
- 20:08Speaker 2: we got you
