- 0:00Speaker 1: Atlanta Falcons on the road playing the New Orleans Saints.
- 0:04Speaker 1: The winner, first place in their division, tied with Carolina.
- 0:09Speaker 1: The line is moving. Money coming in on Atlanta. Total
- 0:14Speaker 1: remaining the same, slightly higher than the original 47. We're
- 0:18Speaker 1: going to discuss that today on the Best Betting Show Ever. Plus,
- 0:23Speaker 1: our sharp bets. What did we learn from this weekend?
- 0:27Speaker 1: Our parlay of the day. early line moves in college
- 0:31Speaker 1: football and NFL. And of course, both the rundowns play
- 0:35Speaker 1: off baseball and NHL. Art DeCesar with me, same with
- 0:39Speaker 1: Joe Ranieri. Art, let's get straight into it. I got,
- 0:42Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I'm going to be cheering for,
- 0:44Speaker 1: but I want to know how you're attacking this game,
- 0:46Speaker 1: Atlanta against New Orleans.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it's a fascinating game.
- 0:52Speaker 3: It's a pass for me, but you did mention the
- 0:55Speaker 3: money that has come in on Atlanta. That was as
- 0:57Speaker 3: high as two, two and a half in an opener.
- 0:59Speaker 3: I saw right before we came in, Circa had won
- 1:02Speaker 3: on that game, so clearly you've seen Atlanta money. I
- 1:05Speaker 3: just need to see it more out of Atlanta. Obviously,
- 1:07Speaker 3: they played that really good game on Thursday with their quarterback.
- 1:12Speaker 2: So, you know.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Yes, Bruce?
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Oh, just the way we like them.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Frozen.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Frozen.
- 1:22Speaker 4: I'm sorry, what were you saying?
- 1:23Speaker 1: Did I get knocked out there?
- 1:25Speaker 4: We were hoping so, but you're right back in it.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Oh, the whole screen froze.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Okay. Art, can you just clue Prez into what you
- 1:35Speaker 4: were just saying there again, please?
- 1:36Speaker 2: Thanks.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yeah, all I was saying is Atlanta to me is
- 1:39Speaker 3: like kind of a wait and see because of what
- 1:41Speaker 3: they did Thursday night. They finally got their quarterback back
- 1:44Speaker 3: in panic. So I'm going to kind of wipe out
- 1:46Speaker 3: what they did in those first two games because that
- 1:49Speaker 3: wasn't the real Atlanta Falcon team. Now they're going to
- 1:51Speaker 3: go on the road in the division. Should be a
- 1:54Speaker 3: really competitive game. So that's why it's a pass for
- 1:57Speaker 3: me tonight. I really want to see what both teams
- 1:58Speaker 3: bring in this game.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Joe, the same could be said about New Orleans.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I think they're a wait-and-see team as well. They've not
- 2:05Speaker 1: only had inconsistent games, but they've had inconsistent quarters. They've
- 2:09Speaker 1: played lights out for half a game and horrible for
- 2:13Speaker 1: the other half. 92% of the money is written on
- 2:16Speaker 1: the over. 66%, 73% on Atlanta. What do you like
- 2:25Speaker 1: in this game? And do you have something with the clients? Oh,
- 2:27Speaker 1: you have a 5% play. Do you want to just
- 2:29Speaker 1: skip this conversation and I'll talk about my thoughts?
- 2:33Speaker 4: Talk about it.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:34Speaker 4: My thought is I have a 5% play on it.
- 2:37Speaker 5: So you can head over and grab it right now because.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I, I guys, just to let you know, just to
- 2:44Speaker 1: let you guys know, this is Joe's first 5% NFL
- 2:47Speaker 1: play in the entire season. We're four weeks in. That's
- 2:51Speaker 1: how rare this play is. He had nine last year,
- 2:55Speaker 1: won seven of them. So seven and two in his
- 3:00Speaker 1: 5% plays last year. He's got one up tonight. So
- 3:02Speaker 1: let me tell you sort of how I'm breaking this
- 3:06Speaker 1: game down. Like, I like Atlanta here, guys. I like
- 3:08Speaker 1: them a fair amount. They're not a quiet play. They
- 3:11Speaker 1: did not make my list. But I am involved in
- 3:15Speaker 1: a splash contest where $ 50, 000 up for grabs. We are
- 3:21Speaker 1: at the end of the quarter, and I am in
- 3:25Speaker 1: second place. I'm guaranteed $ 1, 000 no matter what. If Atlanta wins,
- 3:32Speaker 1: they are one of my five strongest sides. If Atlanta wins,
- 3:37Speaker 1: I make about $ 4, 000. Had the Baltimore Ravens have covered,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I would be somewhere between $ 15, 000 and $ 20, 000. So I'm
- 3:48Speaker 1: utterly gutted over the fact that the Baltimore Ravens did
- 3:52Speaker 1: not cover, but I need Atlanta tonight. plus one and
- 3:56Speaker 1: a half. I have a plus two and a half
- 3:59Speaker 1: in the contest, but I think Atlanta is the right play.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I think they get it done. I think they win
- 4:03Speaker 1: the game outright. That's sort of my take on this game. Art,
- 4:09Speaker 1: do you have any feeling on the total? We're going
- 4:11Speaker 1: to keep Joe out of this conversation.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I mean, I guess I would lean to the over.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I think both offenses in the dome can get up
- 4:18Speaker 3: and down. Normally you want to play divisional games under,
- 4:22Speaker 3: but I don't think this is a spot to look.
- 4:24Speaker 3: at a divisional game under with both offenses and inside
- 4:28Speaker 3: the dome. This game feels 27-24 to me, that type
- 4:31Speaker 3: of game.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Yeah, three-point game. That seems about right, especially with those
- 4:36Speaker 1: two teams. There you go, guys. Art leans on the over.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I lean heavily on the Atlanta Falcons, and Joe leans
- 4:46Speaker 1: on his bank account because, well, He's got his first
- 4:49Speaker 1: 5% playoff, and it's on this game. Short bets for
- 4:53Speaker 1: the day, Art. We have baseball. We have hockey. We have, obviously,
- 4:58Speaker 1: this game tonight. What are you hearing out there?
- 5:03Speaker 3: In the two AL games, the only thing related to
- 5:05Speaker 3: report is the under in the Cleveland and Chicago game.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Took under 6.5 at even money. Now it's flat.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Obviously, the Yankees are going to be very public today
- 5:14Speaker 3: in a bounce-back spot. So if the books can get
- 5:17Speaker 3: the Yankees to lose again today, coupled with whatever happens
- 5:21Speaker 3: in Monday Night Football, that could be a good day
- 5:22Speaker 3: for the books. Hockey-wise, you saw the Lightning take a
- 5:27Speaker 3: lot of money overnight, and you saw Pittsburgh take a
- 5:30Speaker 3: lot of money overnight. I would say out of the two,
- 5:32Speaker 3: Pittsburgh was sharp. Tampa Bay was public.
- 5:37Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Joe, let's get to what did we learn this weekend.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I want to start right off the bat with Michigan,
- 5:44Speaker 1: the Wolverines. What did we learn about them?
- 5:48Speaker 5: Pretty much the same thing that we learned against Western Michigan.
- 5:51Speaker 5: They're not nearly as good as past the Michigan teams
- 5:56Speaker 5: have been.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I mean, it's ugly. They're paying that kid, what, $ 8,
- 6:01Speaker 4: $ 10 million?
- 6:02Speaker 5: And he can't throw his way out of a paper bag.
- 6:05Speaker 4: So they got some problems, Michigan. But I guess we.
- 6:09Speaker 5: the kind of turmoil at Michigan, the fact that we
- 6:12Speaker 5: thought they'd be, anybody thought they'd be some sort of
- 6:15Speaker 5: top 10, even top 25 team this year, even with Whittingham,
- 6:20Speaker 5: it likely wasn't going to happen.
- 6:21Speaker 4: And I think that's proving itself out here now.
- 6:24Speaker 1: All right. I'm going to stay with some big teams.
- 6:27Speaker 4: I had a 5% play.
- 6:29Speaker 1: On the over in the Florida-Missouri game. Jesus, wow. Whoa, mother. Anyway,
- 6:37Speaker 1: what did we learn about either of those two teams?
- 6:40Speaker 1: Number 8, Florida, getting dismantled by number 25, Missouri.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Well, I think what we learned is it's really hard
- 6:48Speaker 3: to go on the road and win the SEC. You know,
- 6:50Speaker 3: Missouri's a good team. They lost the week before, so what,
- 6:54Speaker 3: we're just going to discount them?
- 6:55Speaker 2: And Florida.
- 6:56Speaker 3: who opened that game 3-3.5, got all the way to 5.5-6,
- 6:59Speaker 3: and obviously got destroyed in the game. It was all
- 7:02Speaker 3: about spots, right? Florida got Ole Miss coming to the
- 7:06Speaker 3: swamp after that emotional win, and then Florida, after their
- 7:09Speaker 3: big-time win, biggest win they've had in that program in
- 7:12Speaker 3: a long time, then had to go on the road.
- 7:14Speaker 3: It's just really hard to win week in and week
- 7:16Speaker 3: out in the SEC. I'm not saying Florida's not good.
- 7:18Speaker 3: They could still win their nine, maybe ten games, but
- 7:21Speaker 3: sometimes you've got to pump the brakes week in and
- 7:23Speaker 3: week out and just realize spots.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Joe, speaking of biggest wins in a long time, Mississippi
- 7:31Speaker 1: State over LSU. Since then, well, not the same team.
- 7:36Speaker 1: They just lost to Alabama. Is this a statement towards
- 7:39Speaker 1: how good Alabama is? 56-23, or is Mississippi State just
- 7:45Speaker 1: completely hungover?
- 7:47Speaker 5: Well, I mean, look at the strength of schedule here.
- 7:49Speaker 5: I mean, Mississippi state has played everybody along the way here. So,
- 7:55Speaker 5: and listen, it's just, you can't turn the ball over
- 7:57Speaker 5: five times and think you're going to win in the sec.
- 8:00Speaker 5: I don't care if you're home on the road or
- 8:01Speaker 5: where it was, you know, Camario Taylor is still a
- 8:05Speaker 5: freshman learning the game. And, you know, his first play
- 8:09Speaker 5: was a fumble. His second play was an interception. And
- 8:13Speaker 5: that was all she wrote for Mississippi state. So it's, Yeah,
- 8:16Speaker 5: I think it's, again, teams like Florida and Mississippi State,
- 8:20Speaker 5: they weren't running the table and going undefeated. Their schedules
- 8:23Speaker 5: are ridiculous. But to me, it's all about what did
- 8:26Speaker 5: they do this.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Next coming week?
- 8:28Speaker 5: How did teams bounce back or not bounce back from adversity?
- 8:32Speaker 4: That's what we're going to learn about both these teams
- 8:34Speaker 4: coming up.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Art, I mean, very rarely do we see a team
- 8:39Speaker 1: fall from grace so fast. Like, obviously... Since Saban left,
- 8:43Speaker 1: Bama is not the same team, but the fall hasn't
- 8:46Speaker 1: been what has happened in Clemson. I mean, where do
- 8:52Speaker 1: you go with this team?
- 8:56Speaker 3: And to Joe's point about Alabama, we're going to learn
- 8:58Speaker 3: a lot this week because they play Georgia. So that's
- 9:00Speaker 3: a huge game. We'll learn a lot about both teams.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Clemson's just, you could say it, I'm not breaking any news.
- 9:07Speaker 3: They're not an elite program anymore. They're not a program...
- 9:10Speaker 3: that's going to compete for national championships anymore.
- 9:12Speaker 2: And Gabba was great.
- 9:14Speaker 3: And they'll put them in the ring of honor and
- 9:16Speaker 3: they'll probably put a statue out front for him, but
- 9:19Speaker 3: he needs to go.
- 9:19Speaker 2: It's just time.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Sometimes it's just time to go and it's time.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay, boys, George, you want to say anything about
- 9:27Speaker 1: Ohio state? I mean, that's statement win against the number
- 9:31Speaker 1: 14 team.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Jeremiah Smith, the greatest receiver of this generation and saying,
- 9:37Speaker 5: and him are on the same page and they're going
- 9:39Speaker 5: to keep, putting up numbers and yeah, it's going to
- 9:42Speaker 5: be interesting to see what happened. Nobody's talking about Julian
- 9:46Speaker 5: saying for the MV for the Heisman either, which is
- 9:49Speaker 5: kind of funny given, but yeah, there are a lot
- 9:53Speaker 5: of very good quarterbacks in college this year. I can't
- 9:58Speaker 5: wait to see how it works out in the draft.
- 10:00Speaker 5: they're going to be a lot of quarterbacks off the
- 10:02Speaker 5: board at the top of the draft this year and
- 10:04Speaker 5: that kid is no joke i think julian saying million
- 10:07Speaker 5: times better than what we saw last year and and
- 10:10Speaker 5: it was actually pretty decent last year as well.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Yeah Guys, you're watching the best betting show ever. Hit
- 10:15Speaker 1: that like button, please. Make sure to comment. We read
- 10:19Speaker 1: all the comments. Art and I do respond to most.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Joe's too busy doing 64 hours a day of live television.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Joe TV.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Yeah, Joe TV. Exactly. That's what the whole damn network
- 10:33Speaker 1: should be called. Anyway, yeah, so make sure to like,
- 10:39Speaker 1: make sure to comment, make sure to subscribe to our channel.
- 10:41Speaker 1: We're closing in on 300,000 subscribers. Tomorrow I'm on Puck Time.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Check that out as well. We do this show every day,
- 10:50Speaker 1: Monday to Friday. It's up around 1 p.m.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Eastern.
- 10:54Speaker 1: We are going to do a live show at one point.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Before we get into our parlay of the day, Art,
- 11:01Speaker 1: I think we forgot to give out a haircut play.
- 11:05Speaker 2: We did.
- 11:05Speaker 5: We also forgot to give out a college football parlay
- 11:10Speaker 5: on Thursday.
- 11:10Speaker 2: We did.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:12Speaker 1: We did.
- 11:12Speaker 3: So Joe and I rectified that. We gave out a
- 11:15Speaker 3: college parlay, which lost. But then we gave out an
- 11:18Speaker 3: NFL parlay, which won.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 11:20Speaker 3: So we did that on Friday. We gave the double dip.
- 11:23Speaker 3: We will get back to the haircut play this week, Prez.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Okay. Parlay of the day. I'm going to start right
- 11:30Speaker 1: off the bat, guys. I'm passing an NHL tonight. There's
- 11:33Speaker 1: only four games on tap, a huge slate tomorrow. But
- 11:37Speaker 1: my favorite play that almost made the card was the
- 11:41Speaker 1: under in the Boston-Ottawa game. Now, there are sixes at
- 11:47Speaker 1: a few places. BetMGM is one of them. We're going
- 11:50Speaker 1: to take that six. If it's there, I'm taking it.
- 11:53Speaker 1: The only reason I did not release it as a
- 11:55Speaker 1: play is 90% of the books have it at five
- 11:58Speaker 1: and a half. And I really did not want to
- 12:00Speaker 1: have a situation where I had six, you guys all
- 12:02Speaker 1: at five and a half, but I really liked the
- 12:05Speaker 1: under in Ottawa, Boston. That is leg one art. Where
- 12:08Speaker 1: are you going?
- 12:09Speaker 3: I'm going to be a Homer Yankees must win.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Can't lose tonight. So Yankees will win.
- 12:17Speaker 1: You live in Vegas, Joe.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Good point.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Yeah, I am going to go Guardians, first five tonight
- 12:27Speaker 5: against Kay. And I think Burke is coming in after
- 12:31Speaker 5: him for the White Sox.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Yes, the White Sox.
- 12:35Speaker 5: I think they'll have the lead early in this game.
- 12:37Speaker 5: Whether or not they can hold on to it is
- 12:39Speaker 5: a different question.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Okay, let's talk some business, everybody. How did we do?
- 12:44Speaker 1: I went 2-2 on Saturday. I won my 5% college
- 12:49Speaker 1: football total. I got another one coming. That's correct. I
- 12:54Speaker 1: said this last Monday that I already circled a college
- 12:58Speaker 1: football play for a 5%, and it won two in
- 13:02Speaker 1: a row. We're going to go right back. We got
- 13:05Speaker 1: one coming for Saturday, a college football 5% total. Two
- 13:10Speaker 1: and two. I went three and four on Sunday. I
- 13:13Speaker 1: had a heartbreaking loss with the Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson
- 13:19Speaker 1: doesn't get injured. They win that game 50 to 10.
- 13:23Speaker 1: He gets injured. They still almost covered. But yeah, I
- 13:28Speaker 1: had a three and four day for my clients on Sunday.
- 13:31Speaker 1: So losing weekend for me. I'm passing tonight in hockey.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I have I will have a couple of plays up
- 13:40Speaker 1: a customer appreciation Tuesday. What do you have going art?
- 13:44Speaker 1: And how did you do this weekend?
- 13:47Speaker 2: It was a really good Saturday. Three and one overall.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Won my baseball play.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Went two and one in college football. So keep winning
- 13:55Speaker 3: in college football. Keep winning in baseball. Only the one
- 13:58Speaker 3: play on Sunday was a 5% on the Cardinals money line. Man,
- 14:01Speaker 3: we had four plays inside the five yard line with
- 14:04Speaker 3: a chance to win the game and they don't punch
- 14:06Speaker 3: it in.
- 14:06Speaker 2: So that was a tough one.
- 14:08Speaker 3: But I do have another playoff baseball game up for
- 14:10Speaker 3: later today. I also have a free play up for
- 14:14Speaker 3: the NFL.
- 14:14Speaker 2: It's a player prop. So always go check out all
- 14:17Speaker 2: that type of stuff.
- 14:17Speaker 3: And yeah, Perez, obviously, like you said, for customer appreciation tomorrow,
- 14:21Speaker 3: we'll have a bunch of stuff up and we'll have
- 14:23Speaker 3: a bunch of stuff up later in, later in the
- 14:25Speaker 3: week for the football. So always go check out the page,
- 14:28Speaker 3: WT dot buzz slash 80.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Perfect. Joe.
- 14:32Speaker 5: I was going to four in one Saturday, uh, including
- 14:35Speaker 5: major league baseball there. As a matter of fact, I
- 14:37Speaker 5: haven't lost a game yet in the post season for
- 14:40Speaker 5: major league baseball, uh, one.
- 14:42Speaker 4: In two day yesterday.
- 14:43Speaker 5: And I get screwed in that, uh, Kansas city and
- 14:48Speaker 5: a Raider game in the first half. So total was
- 14:51Speaker 5: 23 and a half. I had the over, and then
- 14:54Speaker 5: I had to watch the chiefs from the three yard line, uh,
- 14:58Speaker 5: fumble all over themselves and have to settle for a
- 15:00Speaker 5: field goal.
- 15:01Speaker 4: So that was brutal.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Yeah. It, it, it never ends with the bad beats.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I mean, I had Maryland as one of my college
- 15:10Speaker 1: football plays on Saturday.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Oh, that game looked great early.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Uh, Oh, my God.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Jeez. And I had Clemson. So they were doing just
- 15:24Speaker 1: fine too early. Anyway, you don't cash early. You cash
- 15:30Speaker 1: when it ends.
- 15:31Speaker 4: A lot of truth to that.
- 15:32Speaker 1: That is for sure. But I had the Edmonton Oilers
- 15:35Speaker 1: in regulation. 3-1.
- 15:39Speaker 4: Yep. Back to that, Art. Get ready.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Okay. I think any time they play, we shouldn't have
- 15:45Speaker 2: a show.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Yes. NFL and college football line moves, let's keep the
- 15:51Speaker 1: show moving. You know, college football art, rather than going
- 15:54Speaker 1: through the line moves, because, man, they're intense. Like, by
- 15:58Speaker 1: now already, we've had 60 line moves. Tell us what
- 16:04Speaker 1: you're hearing out there.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, in college, I always like to give
- 16:08Speaker 2: it a day.
- 16:09Speaker 3: So it's always better maybe even to throw them out
- 16:11Speaker 3: Tuesday and Wednesday and really see where your line moves are.
- 16:14Speaker 3: So I'm actually going to pivot, Prez. I'm going to
- 16:16Speaker 3: give you NFL ones. I'm going to give you a
- 16:18Speaker 3: couple of NFL ones that have moved. You've seen Denver
- 16:21Speaker 3: take money at minus three and a half. You've seen
- 16:23Speaker 3: Miami off their impressive, I guess, play and cover yesterday,
- 16:28Speaker 3: take money at plus eight. You've seen the Jaguars take money.
- 16:31Speaker 3: So those are a couple of teams just to look at.
- 16:34Speaker 3: And listen, we always say this, early in the week,
- 16:36Speaker 3: and this applies to college as well, you have to
- 16:39Speaker 3: kind of wait and see Tuesday and Wednesday if there's
- 16:43Speaker 3: line movement back. Because early in the week, there's a
- 16:45Speaker 3: lot of pump faking. There's a lot of lower limits.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Things will still get moved off sharp action. So you
- 16:51Speaker 3: always have to just kind of be cautious. You just
- 16:53Speaker 3: make notes of these things, and then you can come
- 16:55Speaker 3: back 48 hours later.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Well, let's talk where we're going. Before that, though, Jacksonville
- 17:01Speaker 1: has been an intense line move. It started on minus 3.5.
- 17:05Speaker 1: This morning, it was minus 4.5. Right now, it's minus 5.5.
- 17:10Speaker 1: And there's no end in sight on that play. We
- 17:15Speaker 1: are seeing money come in on the over there as well.
- 17:19Speaker 1: We're seeing some money come in on Tampa Bay. There
- 17:23Speaker 1: was 10s. Now there's 9.5s. Seattle, there's only one, two
- 17:27Speaker 1: and a half left. Now it's three against San Francisco.
- 17:31Speaker 1: We're seeing money come in on Detroit. They are now
- 17:34Speaker 1: four and a half. Chicago is holding firm at three
- 17:38Speaker 1: and a half. Baltimore is holding firm at three and
- 17:42Speaker 1: a half. And the Rams... minus two and a half
- 17:46Speaker 1: those are some you know same with pittsburgh minus two
- 17:49Speaker 1: and a half and we saw money come in on
- 17:51Speaker 1: pittsburgh art which off the bat to me is curious
- 17:55Speaker 1: like that's the one thing that sort of stood out
- 17:58Speaker 1: to me was yeah okay let's get to three please
- 18:01Speaker 1: so i can get me some colts.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Well yeah once again that could be them pushing a
- 18:06Speaker 3: number right they could be pushing that to get to
- 18:08Speaker 3: three for the buyback the interesting one that you mentioned
- 18:11Speaker 3: is obviously probably the game of the week or one
- 18:13Speaker 3: of them Seattle and San Francisco. That's going to see
- 18:17Speaker 3: really good two-way action. You know, when they lay two
- 18:19Speaker 3: and a half, then they're going to take three. That's
- 18:22Speaker 3: going to be a game that's going to bounce it
- 18:23Speaker 3: back and forth. And then eventually bookmakers, which we always did,
- 18:27Speaker 3: you'll just start playing with the juice. You'll probably just
- 18:29Speaker 3: settle in on three and then you'll be at minus
- 18:31Speaker 3: one 20 at three.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Then there will be the buyback.
- 18:34Speaker 3: So it's always, always that type of thing where you
- 18:36Speaker 3: just kind of maybe stay on the key number because
- 18:39Speaker 3: you don't.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Want to get middled.
- 18:40Speaker 3: You won't go to three and a half unless there's
- 18:41Speaker 3: a major injury or all those type of things. But yeah, Prez,
- 18:44Speaker 3: that Pittsburgh game's probably being faked if you just are
- 18:48Speaker 3: looking at it, you know, right now this morning.
- 18:52Speaker 1: And that makes sense to me, Joe, because right off
- 18:55Speaker 1: the bat, I liked Indianapolis, but I don't believe in this...
- 18:59Speaker 1: pittsburgh team is there anything you see joe that we
- 19:02Speaker 1: should take advantage of before any line moves you've got
- 19:05Speaker 1: houston at minus six and a half with a seven
- 19:08Speaker 1: on tap we got cincinnati at minus seven with a
- 19:11Speaker 1: seven and a half out there anything jumping out at
- 19:14Speaker 1: you well.
- 19:16Speaker 5: I'm going to be very interested in the thursday night
- 19:18Speaker 5: game because the overreaction to dallas winning yeah is already
- 19:23Speaker 5: through the roof. I mean, they're going to go off
- 19:25Speaker 5: as a double-digit favorite if they're not there already. And
- 19:29Speaker 5: quite honestly, I thought Tampa didn't play that bad with
- 19:32Speaker 5: the kid underneath center there. So Dallas as a dog
- 19:36Speaker 5: is one thing. Dallas as a double-digit favorite is a
- 19:40Speaker 5: totally different animal. And I'm wondering if we're ever going
- 19:43Speaker 5: to get any buyback on that. And it wouldn't shock
- 19:47Speaker 5: me if Cleveland goes off.
- 19:48Speaker 4: A favorite, by the way, against the Jets.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Either.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:51Speaker 1: And there's actually minus one and a halves on end.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Minus two and a half. Who the hell is betting
- 20:01Speaker 1: the Jets at minus two and a half? It's crazy.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Nope.
- 20:07Speaker 1: And, you know, I was watching the Carolina game last night.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I was on the over for my clients. That one
- 20:11Speaker 1: got us there. We needed a nice ending. All I
- 20:16Speaker 1: kept thinking to myself, and I'm going to ask you this, Art.
- 20:19Speaker 4: I'll go to you first.
- 20:21Speaker 1: How good is this Cleveland defense? I mean, we have
- 20:23Speaker 1: seen what Carolina has done three out of four games now.
- 20:27Speaker 1: They couldn't move the ball against Cleveland.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Cleveland's defense is really good, and the fact that the
- 20:36Speaker 3: Jets couldn't do anything against that Bear defense, what are
- 20:40Speaker 3: they going to do against the Cleveland defense now? We
- 20:42Speaker 3: know week in and week out in the NFL, things
- 20:45Speaker 3: will surprise you, but I think Joe hit it right
- 20:47Speaker 3: on the head, and Cleveland probably could get to a
- 20:51Speaker 3: favorite in that game. I mean, it wouldn't shock me.
- 20:54Speaker 3: I mean, the Jets proved again yesterday that they're not good.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Cleveland's better than them.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Joe, I got to talk New England Patriots. They're playing Vegas.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Vegas looked good yesterday. They held their own. I had
- 21:09Speaker 1: them as one of my plays in the contests. Now
- 21:14Speaker 1: they're playing a New England team where, man, we thought
- 21:17Speaker 1: the sky was falling in New England. You thought Drake
- 21:20Speaker 1: May was basically done. They looked really good against Buffalo.
- 21:26Speaker 4: And honestly.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Buffalo had some lucky shit happen to even keep them
- 21:31Speaker 1: in that game. You think New England has turned their
- 21:35Speaker 1: season around, or are minus three and a half, minus
- 21:38Speaker 1: four against Vegas too high?
- 21:42Speaker 5: Will the hook be there by the time we get
- 21:45Speaker 5: to Sunday is going to be the big question.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Yes, I think it will.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Because I got news for you that Vegas defense is
- 21:54Speaker 5: very interesting. You know, they went after it there yesterday.
- 21:59Speaker 5: And the one guy they couldn't cover was Thornton. But
- 22:03Speaker 5: now all of a sudden, you know, he's out, dislocated
- 22:06Speaker 5: his ankle there. I think Vegas is going to be competitive.
- 22:10Speaker 5: It wouldn't shock me if it's a field goal game
- 22:12Speaker 5: at all. Would not shock me at all.
- 22:13Speaker 4: If that's a field goal game. But if you're going
- 22:15Speaker 4: to leave the hook out there, you know people are
- 22:17Speaker 4: going to bet it early.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah. Art, do you think the hook will be there?
- 22:22Speaker 1: I do.
- 22:24Speaker 2: I do, too.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Um, but I think actually you'll see pretty good two
- 22:29Speaker 3: way action on the game because now people will go, Oh, no,
- 22:32Speaker 3: England's back and they'll run to the window and bet
- 22:34Speaker 3: them crazy money line parlays. And then, I mean, despite
- 22:38Speaker 3: the loss, I think you saw something out of Vegas yesterday.
- 22:40Speaker 3: You know, they, they had a lead. It's, they had
- 22:43Speaker 3: a lead in that second half. What was it?
- 22:45Speaker 1: 1917.
- 22:45Speaker 3: And then, you know, it got away and they came
- 22:47Speaker 3: back a little bit for the late cover, but I
- 22:50Speaker 3: was impressed by Vegas yesterday.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Me too. Okay, boys, let's get to our
- 22:54Speaker 1: MLB rundown. Only two games. Let's hear it.
- 23:00Speaker 5: All right, Art, what are we thinking here? First one
- 23:02Speaker 5: is going to be all about the Guardians. Are we
- 23:05Speaker 5: buying the Guardians to bounce back against the White Sox?
- 23:09Speaker 5: Six and a half is interesting. Wind blowing in, I believe,
- 23:12Speaker 5: here today at Progressive. But yeah, that's a low total
- 23:17Speaker 5: for two teams. That's one team that has shown they
- 23:20Speaker 5: can hit. I'm yet to see that the Guardians can
- 23:23Speaker 5: actually score any runs here today.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Yeah, and I guess that wind blowing in probably was
- 23:28Speaker 3: why you saw some sharp money coming on the under
- 23:30Speaker 3: at even money. You know, obviously when these are game
- 23:34Speaker 3: twos and they're must-wins for the team who lost in
- 23:36Speaker 3: game one, especially with a home team, you see a
- 23:38Speaker 3: lot of zigzag stuff with people who bet these series. throughout,
- 23:42Speaker 3: so obviously money will come in on Cleveland and probably
- 23:45Speaker 3: already has.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Sportsbooks will be rooting for the White Sox tonight.
- 23:50Speaker 5: Yeah, they will be, boy, that would be interesting, wouldn't it?
- 23:52Speaker 5: And then the Yankees taking on the Rays, Cam Schlittler
- 23:57Speaker 5: against good old Freddy Peralta here, and looking to go
- 24:00Speaker 5: up two games to none. That was a hell of
- 24:03Speaker 5: a game one there with the whole, I still have
- 24:07Speaker 5: no idea. what he was thinking, trying to stretch that
- 24:11Speaker 5: into a triple. I have no idea what was going
- 24:15Speaker 5: on there. But bottom line is, Rays hold on for
- 24:19Speaker 5: a 1-0 win. Now the Yankees have their ace on
- 24:22Speaker 5: the mound. What happens in this one?
- 24:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, this is it, right?
- 24:26Speaker 3: You know, season on the line, especially in a short series.
- 24:29Speaker 3: This has been your best pitcher all year. So we
- 24:32Speaker 3: know the public's going to be on the Yankees. I
- 24:33Speaker 3: said the Yankees in the parlay of the day. I
- 24:36Speaker 3: feel like the Yankees will come and play and they
- 24:39Speaker 3: got to get to Peralta early.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I mean, that's it.
- 24:41Speaker 3: If you're going to do anything in this game with
- 24:43Speaker 3: your ace on the mound, you got to get to
- 24:45Speaker 3: Freddie Peralta early.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 5: And I think both opens showed that they are more
- 24:50Speaker 5: than capable and rested. And yeah, so it's not, runs
- 24:54Speaker 5: are going to be very hard to come by in
- 24:56Speaker 5: that game.
- 24:56Speaker 4: That's for sure.
- 24:58Speaker 2: And you got the day off. It's not a back
- 24:59Speaker 2: to back. So correct. Well, pets will be in play.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I mean, betting under six and a half. I'm actually curious.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I'm going to ask Ralph this for our Wednesday TNA segment.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I'm curious whether under six and a half in the
- 25:15Speaker 1: playoffs are a winning proposition. Because 4-3 feels like the
- 25:19Speaker 1: average score.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Well, you've seen a change too, Prez, right? Those wildcard games,
- 25:26Speaker 3: there were nine of them. I think it was 7-1-1
- 25:28Speaker 3: in the over. Now you're seeing all unders. in this
- 25:32Speaker 3: division series.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Obviously the teams are better. The pitching's better. The bullpens
- 25:36Speaker 3: are better. Obviously you got, you know, these are the
- 25:38Speaker 3: elite teams. So starting to see unders come in, in
- 25:42Speaker 3: this division series.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Okay. NHL rundown. There are four games going today for
- 25:50Speaker 1: hockey games. I like two unders and over, and I
- 25:55Speaker 1: have an extremely live dog for you. Let's start with
- 25:58Speaker 1: the Philadelphia Eagles. Tampa Bay game. I like the under
- 26:01Speaker 1: in this game, guys. I think we should be looking
- 26:03Speaker 1: to play Tampa Bay under all year long. Obviously, they've
- 26:06Speaker 1: got guns with Kucherov and Point and Hedman and whatnot.
- 26:11Speaker 1: But this is a team under John Cooper that really
- 26:13Speaker 1: does like to keep their opposition out of the net.
- 26:18Speaker 1: They like to win 3-0, 3-1, 2-1, 4-1 type games.
- 26:22Speaker 1: And Philadelphia, I think, is a team that's going to
- 26:24Speaker 1: play to the under as well most of the year.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Under 5.5. Bet MGM does have a six. Ottawa, Boston.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I'm looking to take Ottawa under all year long. This
- 26:35Speaker 1: is a team that I think is going to really
- 26:37Speaker 1: struggle to find goals. They struggled to find goals last year,
- 26:41Speaker 1: and that was when they had their goal scorer, Brady Kachuk.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Now he's gone. I don't think they've put anybody in
- 26:47Speaker 1: his place who's a goal scorer. I think this team
- 26:50Speaker 1: is going to average maybe three goals a game at best.
- 26:55Speaker 1: And I think Boston is going to look to play
- 26:57Speaker 1: under as well. Jeremy Swayman, nice start to the year.
- 27:01Speaker 1: You can find sixes over at MGM, but five and
- 27:04Speaker 1: a half is most of the places I like under.
- 27:07Speaker 1: I like the over in the San Jose-Dallas game. San
- 27:12Speaker 1: Jose is going to be a team that plays to
- 27:13Speaker 1: the over all year. They got guns up and down
- 27:16Speaker 1: that lineup, and they do not have a defensive system.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Dallas put up one goal last game. allowed six. I
- 27:25Speaker 1: think they do tighten up defensively, but I think they
- 27:28Speaker 1: do get some goals tonight.
- 27:30Speaker 2: I like over.
- 27:31Speaker 1: And my live dog is the Winnipeg Jets at plus 165.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I think they can go into Pittsburgh and win. I
- 27:39Speaker 1: think it's a bad spot for Pittsburgh. They got Washington
- 27:43Speaker 1: up next. They just came up with a couple of
- 27:45Speaker 1: good tight games. Winnipeg is galvanized with Hellebuck not in net.
- 27:51Speaker 1: They won against Detroit. I think Winnipeg is very live tonight.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Take the Jets. That's it for the rundown. No mailbag
- 28:00Speaker 1: section on Mondays. We will be back on Tuesday. Thanks
- 28:03Speaker 1: for watching the best betting show ever. Lots of love, everybody.
