- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas and a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and camera
- 0:06Speaker 1: je Edge.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Pod with myself,
- 0:17Speaker 2: Teddy Mellencamp.
- 0:18Speaker 1: And Katie Danilla.
- 0:21Speaker 2: I am so excited to have you here.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Thanks for inviting me, really, thanks.
- 0:25Speaker 2: For coming on in.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I know it's been rough for you. Yes, if anyone
- 0:32Speaker 2: knows rough, I can tell you I was. I was
- 0:36Speaker 2: probably the most hated human there actually was. How it's
- 0:41Speaker 2: actually okay, okay, okay. I need you to embrace it
- 0:46Speaker 2: and enjoy it. It becomes fun.
- 0:48Speaker 1: It's enjoyable. Yes, okay, Well I'm waiting for that.
- 0:51Speaker 2: We just need you a couple of good friends on
- 0:54Speaker 2: the show and then it won't matter.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Well, I mean, I put in my stories the other day.
- 0:59Speaker 1: It's so funny if I'm asked back, and if I
- 1:01Speaker 1: can bring someone on. My friend Noreene is literally perfect
- 1:05Speaker 1: for this show.
- 1:06Speaker 2: She's been to Wolf. Yes, I know her.
- 1:09Speaker 1: How do you know her?
- 1:10Speaker 2: I know her because back in the day I used
- 1:12Speaker 2: to work at CAA or UTA in the mailroom and
- 1:15Speaker 2: she was a client.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Yes, she's an actual actress. She did one hundred episodes
- 1:20Speaker 1: of Anger Management with Charlie she she's been in movies.
- 1:23Speaker 1: She's she's incredible, and she's feisty, so feisty that girl
- 1:27Speaker 1: could read anyone down, That's what I'm saying. And she's
- 1:29Speaker 1: a dear friend of mine. Her husband and Matt are
- 1:31Speaker 1: dear friends. Her husband was in the NHL for nineteen years.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Is this her second husband or first husband?
- 1:36Speaker 1: Second?
- 1:37Speaker 2: But I was gonna say I think I knew her first.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yeah, her first they were married very briefly. Yeah, but
- 1:41Speaker 1: she's lived on the street from her first husband. I
- 1:44Speaker 1: want to think mine was brief, but it wasn't. But
- 1:47Speaker 1: she's amazing and a real friend, an actual one.
- 1:51Speaker 2: So if you had her and then she bonded with
- 1:53Speaker 2: somebody else and that dodn't know each other, well, Jen's
- 1:56Speaker 2: no friend to you. Do you think she is?
- 2:01Speaker 1: I think she thought she was. But I'm very, very,
- 2:04Speaker 1: very hurt.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I mean, I said to Erica, I'm like, she has
- 2:07Speaker 2: the worst case of pretend amnisia I've ever seen.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Well, I remember, like looking back now, I don't know
- 2:13Speaker 1: if you remember this, but towards the beginning of the season,
- 2:15Speaker 1: on the way down to the Golden Door, Yeah, I said,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I heard you called me a con artist. Did you
- 2:20Speaker 1: call me that? She was like, well, I don't know,
- 2:21Speaker 1: but if I did, I'm sorry. And I was like, no, Jen,
- 2:23Speaker 1: did you like just say I didn't call you that?
- 2:26Speaker 2: Like did?
- 2:26Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like anything you would say, you know,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and that I was kind of like, well, that's weird,
- 2:31Speaker 1: Like if you didn't say it, why wouldn't you just
- 2:33Speaker 1: say I didn't say it? You know.
- 2:36Speaker 2: The other thing is if you didn't say it, why
- 2:38Speaker 2: not say it? But every single time you ask her
- 2:40Speaker 2: for backup, she's never.
- 2:42Speaker 1: There, And I do yes, And I do remember last
- 2:46Speaker 1: year I went in for her a little bit, you know,
- 2:49Speaker 1: every interview I was talking about how people need to
- 2:51Speaker 1: leave her and Ryan alone because they were getting blasted
- 2:53Speaker 1: with things from last year.
- 2:55Speaker 2: But I think she went into this season. She had
- 2:57Speaker 2: a good fan reaction last year.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Did She's very lovable.
- 3:01Speaker 2: She's very lovable. So then I think she went in
- 3:03Speaker 2: and she was like, I'm not messing that up. I'm
- 3:05Speaker 2: not doing it in the second season curse. I'm giving
- 3:07Speaker 2: it to Teddy. I did get it. I got it.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I do think she didn't want to go down with
- 3:13Speaker 1: this sinking ship.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Yeah, she didn't want to go down with this ship.
- 3:16Speaker 2: All right, So going into the season, did you anticipate
- 3:19Speaker 2: the fan reaction that you got or.
- 3:22Speaker 1: No, Teddy, I was. I literally told Matt, I said
- 3:24Speaker 1: this yesterday in press, we need to go on hiding,
- 3:27Speaker 1: Like I think we should move to Ireland. No, We'll
- 3:29Speaker 1: go into the middle of nowhere. And Matt's like where
- 3:32Speaker 1: his grandfather's land is, great grandfather, We'll just live there
- 3:34Speaker 1: in that little shack, Like, let's just go into hiding.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I think people are going to hate me. People think
- 3:39Speaker 1: I was like, Oh, I can't wait, and the fans
- 3:41Speaker 1: are gonna let me. I thought the opposite. I am
- 3:43Speaker 1: actually shocked by the love I'm getting.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I think that you know something. I want
- 3:49Speaker 2: to kind of take it back a little bit. Okay,
- 3:51Speaker 2: I don't want to start with exactly what's happening right now,
- 3:54Speaker 2: but let's take it back a season. We go back
- 3:58Speaker 2: when you brought up the head paparazzi stuff. Yes, do
- 4:01Speaker 2: you regret that?
- 4:04Speaker 1: Yes? And no, yes, because I think the timing wasn't good.
- 4:08Speaker 1: It was very fresh and new in the season, and
- 4:10Speaker 1: maybe I should have waited on that. Yeah, but I
- 4:13Speaker 1: was being told to bring it up. And if you
- 4:15Speaker 1: notice if you look back. I actually only talk about
- 4:17Speaker 1: it one time. Everyone else talks about it. Gina was
- 4:20Speaker 1: encouraging me in text and calls, bring it up, bring
- 4:22Speaker 1: it up, and I did, and she was like, you
- 4:24Speaker 1: should tell her. I'm gonna tell her. So I did,
- 4:25Speaker 1: and then she's like, I told you not to say anything.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And I was like, wait what You literally told me
- 4:31Speaker 1: to say it? And I again, I thought it was
- 4:34Speaker 1: a silly, funny thing, like who cares if you did?
- 4:38Speaker 1: You did? You were going through I don't know Heather Debro.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I really don't know her, so I didn't realize it
- 4:47Speaker 1: was going to be.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Would you still say that you still don't know her?
- 4:51Speaker 1: I still don't know her. Yeah, no, I don't know.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I don't know most of the cast.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Who would you say, I mean, because we can't say Jen,
- 4:58Speaker 2: But who would you say you feel like a true
- 5:00Speaker 2: connection with in the group?
- 5:02Speaker 1: Well, it varies. In the beginning, it was Gina. I
- 5:05Speaker 1: thought she was being genuine. She met my two best
- 5:07Speaker 1: friends before we started filming, and my two best friends
- 5:10Speaker 1: were like, she's great. She's a fun girl. She's very outgoing,
- 5:12Speaker 1: she's very witty and quick, and my friends are like,
- 5:15Speaker 1: you're in good hands. We're not worried, You're gonna do great.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And then towards the middle, they were like, what the fuck.
- 5:20Speaker 2: She didn't realize she was coaching you?
- 5:22Speaker 1: I did not.
- 5:23Speaker 2: At what point did you realized she was coaching you? Well?
- 5:26Speaker 1: I got Okay. So the night before that golf party
- 5:29Speaker 1: that I had, yeah, she was on speakerphone. We were
- 5:32Speaker 1: talking about what I was going to say to Heather
- 5:34Speaker 1: because I was going to bring it up to Heather.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:35Speaker 1: She was like, Okay, this is what I just think
- 5:36Speaker 1: you should say, and I hung up with her. Matt goes,
- 5:39Speaker 1: she's using you. Yeah, she's using you, Katie, and I
- 5:42Speaker 1: was like, Matt, you don't know what you're talking about.
- 5:44Speaker 1: I'm with this woman now five days a week. I
- 5:47Speaker 1: don't think she's like that. And he was like, Katie,
- 5:49Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, stop talking about it.
- 5:52Speaker 2: So Matt can read people, and you can't.
- 5:54Speaker 1: We do that for each other. I think I think
- 5:56Speaker 1: we do that for each other when people are harsh
- 5:58Speaker 1: with him. I'm like that guy, you know. I think
- 6:01Speaker 1: we do that for each other. But no, he always
- 6:03Speaker 1: tells me, Katie, you can't save every animal. You know,
- 6:06Speaker 1: I am trying. I think it goes back to like
- 6:08Speaker 1: being adopted and wanting to be included. I think I
- 6:11Speaker 1: try to.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Like you and you want.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I am a people pleaser, You're a thousand percent and
- 6:17Speaker 1: it it's that's why I stayed married to my first
- 6:19Speaker 1: husband so long. How long were you married legally?
- 6:22Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:23Speaker 1: Ten years?
- 6:24Speaker 2: I think because this brings us back to your feud
- 6:26Speaker 2: with Emily got a little dark at the reunion when
- 6:28Speaker 2: she brought up your previous domestic violence incident and how
- 6:32Speaker 2: that affected the custody with your kids. Matt said on
- 6:35Speaker 2: a podcast that you had to be picked up off
- 6:37Speaker 2: the floor after. So can you give me a little
- 6:40Speaker 2: more insight on that.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't want to talk about it really bad.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I can see getting emotional in that. I know.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I just I hate talking about I am. I hate
- 6:52Speaker 1: that it makes me look like a bad mother.
- 6:54Speaker 3: But really it was just a really horrible time of
- 6:55Speaker 3: life and I was just trying to survive and so
- 6:59Speaker 3: I I was literally homeless. I was seeking help of
- 7:04Speaker 3: a shelter in Atlanta. Now I can say that, I know,
- 7:07Speaker 3: I can say that facility and they were very great.
- 7:09Speaker 3: I didn't have help for my family. I had a
- 7:11Speaker 3: couple of girlfriends that helped me. But the fact that
- 7:14Speaker 3: it came out like you're a bad person, that hurts. Yeah,
- 7:18Speaker 3: because then I got them back.
- 7:20Speaker 2: You know, and clearly they love you.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, we're going through stuff right now with
- 7:26Speaker 1: my son Max, who's in Atlanta, so you'll have to say,
- 7:30Speaker 1: I guess what happens with that. But that hurt. I
- 7:33Speaker 1: don't think that was necessary, you know. But also they
- 7:36Speaker 1: didn't really know the context because they never asked in
- 7:39Speaker 1: the season.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Because so often people ask questions just in hopes for
- 7:45Speaker 2: being able to have a good response instead of actually
- 7:47Speaker 2: listening to what you had to say.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Right, And that was my qualm the whole time, Like
- 7:50Speaker 1: when I like, my words were jumbled inviting people to
- 7:54Speaker 1: buy this season, but I was really wanting to say,
- 7:57Speaker 1: let's get to know each other. I think that if
- 7:59Speaker 1: you actually knew who I was, you wouldn't hate me
- 8:01Speaker 1: so much. You know. I made a lot of rookie mistakes.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I'm not denying that I did, yea, and I wish
- 8:07Speaker 1: I could go back and change a lot of things,
- 8:08Speaker 1: But I didn't mean it. There was no crazy malicious intent.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't feel like you're malicious. I feel like
- 8:15Speaker 2: sometimes you look scared or like a deer in headlights.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Yeah, well when it's six verse one. Yeah, that's not
- 8:22Speaker 1: something I've ever dealt with.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I get it. I get it. When you
- 8:27Speaker 2: began filming this season, did you expect Emily was gonna
- 8:29Speaker 2: apologize to you?
- 8:36Speaker 1: I know, I was hoping she would, that we could
- 8:39Speaker 1: move forward because we did have good moments last season,
- 8:43Speaker 1: and my daughter loved her kids, by the way, loved
- 8:47Speaker 1: her kids, So I was hoping we can move forward,
- 8:49Speaker 1: maybe because they never babysit again, but friendly. But no,
- 8:54Speaker 1: I didn't think she was, and I really hope she does. Though.
- 8:57Speaker 2: How was your daughter affected by all this?
- 8:58Speaker 1: Now, she didn't really want to film this season. You
- 9:01Speaker 1: don't see her. Yeah, well she was in Korea for
- 9:04Speaker 1: a while. But also she didn't really want to because
- 9:07Speaker 1: when all that came out last year, she got death threats. Yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 1: big time ones. And she's an influencer before any of
- 9:14Speaker 1: this Housewives stuff, she was an influencer. She has hundreds
- 9:17Speaker 1: of thousands of followers. She makes more money than I
- 9:19Speaker 1: do on partnership, Oh way more money than I do.
- 9:23Speaker 1: And she is hustling she's fantastic, she's smart, she's in college,
- 9:26Speaker 1: she helps me abandon like, she's an amazing human being,
- 9:29Speaker 1: and she was getting online. It's crazy.
- 9:31Speaker 2: It's crazy how it happens, I know. And then once
- 9:33Speaker 2: it happens, and then there's just a pile on and
- 9:35Speaker 2: it just gets worse and it feels like it doesn't
- 9:37Speaker 2: go away. That I completely get. So then we get
- 9:41Speaker 2: to this season. We come into this season and you
- 9:44Speaker 2: and Tamar are arguing on whether or not you called
- 9:46Speaker 2: the Bravo babe correct and you're not showing a receipt.
- 9:51Speaker 2: You don't have reception.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Okay, can I just say something about this? Yes, when
- 9:54Speaker 1: Tamor said did you call her? My immediate thought was,
- 9:56Speaker 1: and I don't think they showed this in the episode.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Was I don't have that girl's number. What are you
- 10:00Speaker 1: talking about? I don't know her, what's her I don't
- 10:02Speaker 1: even know her name. And so after coming home from
- 10:05Speaker 1: the Golden Door, yes, I was texting and driving, but
- 10:08Speaker 1: I was looking in my at and t app and
- 10:10Speaker 1: I was like looking at the date that all that
- 10:12Speaker 1: happened with the Bravo Babe, and I was like, look,
- 10:14Speaker 1: if I can go back to my cell phone records
- 10:16Speaker 1: and show who I called, you know, the three days before,
- 10:19Speaker 1: the three days after the day up, I can prove
- 10:21Speaker 1: I never called this girl right right. So I went
- 10:24Speaker 1: back to her and my DMS and I looked at
- 10:27Speaker 1: the date and then I saw the audio. Oh, and
- 10:29Speaker 1: I was like, fuck, I did call her on Instagram.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I completely spaced. It was like, oh no. So I
- 10:36Speaker 1: went home. The next morning I had a scene with Shannon.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I told the producers I got to talk to Tama.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I need to tell her. I need to like be
- 10:43Speaker 1: like hey, I figured it out, and luckily she was
- 10:46Speaker 1: very kind about it.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's exactly what we want when we watch
- 10:50Speaker 2: a housewife show is conflict and resolution. We don't want
- 10:55Speaker 2: this like drawn out situation, which I think is happening.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Think you should make Ted talk about that to my
- 11:01Speaker 1: cast maybe yeah.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I mean I think that we're going to get there.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I think we're going to get somewhere today. I know
- 11:06Speaker 2: that there's concern whenever anybody does a podcast like oh no,
- 11:10Speaker 2: this is just going to draw more hate. But I
- 11:11Speaker 2: think there's parts that just haven't been talked about, and
- 11:15Speaker 2: I think I haven't heard it as a viewer now
- 11:19Speaker 2: I'm a viewer and a podcaster, and like I watch
- 11:21Speaker 2: more Housewives than probably anybody. At this point, let's dig
- 11:37Speaker 2: into some additional questions. Okay, you again then denied filming
- 11:41Speaker 2: Shannon before admitting recording her. Why did you deny? Just
- 11:45Speaker 2: fear or.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Let me think back to that. I don't remember denying
- 11:51Speaker 1: I did it. I denied that I played it for Alexis. Right,
- 11:55Speaker 1: it wasn't a video. It was a voice memo to
- 11:57Speaker 1: my husband, okay, and I sent it to Matt right then.
- 12:01Speaker 2: But then you also showed Alexis.
- 12:03Speaker 1: No, I did not. I did not know. We talked
- 12:07Speaker 1: about it at lunch, and so you told her. I
- 12:10Speaker 1: told her about it, one hundred percent. I did, and
- 12:12Speaker 1: Jen was at that lunch. I've never had lunch with
- 12:14Speaker 1: Alexis alone. I've never been alone with Alexis.
- 12:17Speaker 2: So you told her about it? What in the first place?
- 12:19Speaker 2: I mean, we all know that Shannon gets a bad
- 12:21Speaker 2: rap for some of her behavior to production and whatnot
- 12:27Speaker 2: on the way she behaves. Do you think she gets
- 12:30Speaker 2: a pass or some of her dramatic outbursts?
- 12:34Speaker 1: I think so. I think we all get passes for
- 12:37Speaker 1: certain things.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, well maybe not me, but I was gonna say,
- 12:40Speaker 2: what are yours?
- 12:41Speaker 1: I feel like I'm pretty nice to production. You know,
- 12:45Speaker 1: I may have met someone recently that worked with her
- 12:49Speaker 1: on a show in Cabo and kind of backed me
- 12:51Speaker 1: up on this. Yeah, it was never to like expose her.
- 12:56Speaker 1: There's eleven, I think years of her exposing herself. Yeah,
- 12:59Speaker 1: I don't need to. There doesn't need to be a
- 13:01Speaker 1: thirty second voice memo.
- 13:02Speaker 2: What was she saying that she even gave you that
- 13:05Speaker 2: thing of like I need to record this.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I don't want to say because I don't want to.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I don't want to do that. But it was very erratic.
- 13:13Speaker 1: It was screaming, literally screaming. Her glam team had been
- 13:17Speaker 1: waiting for her for over an hour. She was late,
- 13:19Speaker 1: maybe even two hours, and it was just the most
- 13:24Speaker 1: outrageous thing.
- 13:27Speaker 2: It was just you were more gossiping.
- 13:30Speaker 1: With Matt correct And I mentioned this recently and I
- 13:34Speaker 1: found out that I'm not the only one that recorded
- 13:36Speaker 1: her in that room because it was so outrageous.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, so how come you didn't just say, yeah, I
- 13:41Speaker 2: recorded you?
- 13:43Speaker 1: What did I say?
- 13:44Speaker 2: You kind of beat her on the bush a little
- 13:46Speaker 2: bit like that's it's kind of that's a car that
- 13:49Speaker 2: gets me because I met I love you. I think
- 13:52Speaker 2: that honestly, watching this back, I'm like, fight for yourself
- 13:55Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 13:56Speaker 1: No, You're totally right, teddy, And I think sometimes things
- 13:58Speaker 1: are moving so fast these scenes. Then I'm like, wait,
- 14:01Speaker 1: what it's like watching a tennis match a lot of times,
- 14:04Speaker 1: and even with the like alexis hearing it, it's a
- 14:08Speaker 1: video and I was like, wait, what what like and
- 14:11Speaker 1: the Bravo babe stuff, I kind of space out, okay,
- 14:14Speaker 1: And I think some like at the Golden Door, I
- 14:18Speaker 1: had taken my anxiety medicine and it made me a stump. Yeah.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I sat there like this like glare no glare, Like
- 14:26Speaker 1: I was nothing, and I was like, Okay, maybe I
- 14:28Speaker 1: shouldn't take that anymore.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Or no food. Yeah, that's the thing. Like sometimes I think, like,
- 14:32Speaker 2: I'm like, you have the right, okay, so you have
- 14:36Speaker 2: the right to fight for yourself a little bit. And
- 14:38Speaker 2: sometimes I feel like you just sit there and you
- 14:40Speaker 2: take it and you're like okay.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Okay, but it seem like it's a lie. One hundred percent.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I can see that. I can see how you think that.
- 14:47Speaker 1: I was being told at the beginning of the season
- 14:49Speaker 1: by some production people that are very kind and also
- 14:52Speaker 1: the women. You need to make amends. You need to
- 14:54Speaker 1: say you're sorry. You need to make this right. You
- 14:56Speaker 1: can't just have jed. So my thinking going into all
- 14:59Speaker 1: this is, Okay, I just need to apologize so we
- 15:01Speaker 1: can move forward. I need to admit I'm speaking me forward.
- 15:04Speaker 1: So that's what I was doing. So I'm in my
- 15:06Speaker 1: head like do I say the thing that I'm thinking
- 15:09Speaker 1: or do I do what I'm being told to make amends?
- 15:13Speaker 1: Because this show is about conflict and resolution, right, And
- 15:16Speaker 1: if they're thinking that, I'm at the hert So.
- 15:17Speaker 2: You didn't really believe some of the amends that you're
- 15:20Speaker 2: making and you.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Were No, I do feel bad for hurting people, even
- 15:23Speaker 1: if it's indirectly, right, Like if I said something about
- 15:25Speaker 1: you and it hurt you and you say, like Katie,
- 15:27Speaker 1: that was shitty, I'd be like, I'm sorry that I
- 15:29Speaker 1: hurt you like that. I do mean that, right, I
- 15:31Speaker 1: got something that I'm owed, right, but I'm sorry that
- 15:34Speaker 1: I hurt you.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Just pro tip for the for the reunion. I'm sorry
- 15:39Speaker 2: that I hurt you for saying it like that. Yeah,
- 15:41Speaker 2: doesn't really feel like an apology, right, But if you
- 15:43Speaker 2: just say hey, I'm really sorry. I care about you.
- 15:47Speaker 2: I messed up.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I said that to Shannon multiple times.
- 15:51Speaker 2: You did, Okay, Okay, So now we got to get
- 15:57Speaker 2: into the rest of it. So I'm going to first
- 15:58Speaker 2: start out with a rumor that I I heard.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Oh God, okay, So.
- 16:02Speaker 2: We're going to get into the Kiki monique of it all.
- 16:06Speaker 2: So I heard a rumor. So there isn't one part
- 16:09Speaker 2: of me and correct correct me anywhere that I'm wrong.
- 16:13Speaker 2: There isn't a part of me that doesn't believe that
- 16:17Speaker 2: you went out to dinner with Jen Ryan, Gretchen Slade
- 16:21Speaker 2: and all this was talked about. It was, it was.
- 16:25Speaker 2: So we'll get into the gen of it all in
- 16:27Speaker 2: a minute. But what I was told, who knows if
- 16:31Speaker 2: this is true. But I was told that Gretchen and
- 16:33Speaker 2: Sheena are very tight, yes, and that Shina told Kiki.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I have heard that from multiple people.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Too, Okay, So I'm glad that we got that figured out.
- 16:45Speaker 2: So you know, I heard that they are very tight.
- 16:47Speaker 2: So there's multiple sources that could have told Kiki.
- 16:51Speaker 1: There is an account that was created just for this.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I was sent what uh huh. I'll send it to
- 16:56Speaker 1: you if you would like me to, and actually they
- 16:58Speaker 1: send it to Matt, and Matt's to me and he
- 17:01Speaker 1: was like, this is how it makes sense, and it
- 17:04Speaker 1: was Sheena. There's clips of Sena colling Gretchen with Kiki
- 17:08Speaker 1: on their podcast together saying how do we get you
- 17:11Speaker 1: back on the show? How do we do this? And
- 17:14Speaker 1: it's also it's this stream of like twenty slides of
- 17:18Speaker 1: how it makes sense that it allegedly was them.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Because I heard that you said on Bile Files, what
- 17:24Speaker 2: did you say? I'll die on that?
- 17:26Speaker 1: I'll die on that I didn't tell Kiki.
- 17:28Speaker 2: You didn't tell you gossip?
- 17:31Speaker 1: Yeah, about myself. I was sitting at that lunch and
- 17:34Speaker 1: she knew about the episodes that I hadn't even seen. Okay,
- 17:39Speaker 1: she had seen screeners that I hadn't even been given.
- 17:42Speaker 1: And I was it was before we filmed the reunion
- 17:45Speaker 1: last year, and I was like, oh my god, I
- 17:47Speaker 1: feel this way. I feel that way. We were talking
- 17:48Speaker 1: about being a woman of color, the only woman of color,
- 17:51Speaker 1: and kind of commiserating in that a little bit, and
- 17:54Speaker 1: that's when I told her there are some things that
- 17:56Speaker 1: I've seen with these women that make me feel a
- 17:58Speaker 1: little weird and that's when I brought up the GENA thing.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Yeah, so we can talk about We'll talk about the
- 18:04Speaker 2: GENA thing in a bit, but I have to first
- 18:06Speaker 2: get into this a little bit more So. The reason
- 18:08Speaker 2: the naked wasted situation became such a big deal was because,
- 18:14Speaker 2: I mean, from what I was told was that Slade.
- 18:19Speaker 2: I think things are getting a little bit confused. I
- 18:22Speaker 2: think because if you were told if you say something,
- 18:25Speaker 2: or Matt says something, or Slade something says something, or
- 18:28Speaker 2: Gretchen says something, it's they're not being tied together. I
- 18:32Speaker 2: didn't say it, But if Slade says it, Gretchen says it,
- 18:36Speaker 2: if Matt says it, you said it. I mean, you're
- 18:39Speaker 2: all at dinner.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Together, correct, and somebody I think it was that up
- 18:42Speaker 1: and Adam Guy just said, I have a theory, and
- 18:45Speaker 1: my theory is that it wasn't Gretchen that said it.
- 18:47Speaker 1: It was actually Slade. And that's why semantics. No, she
- 18:50Speaker 1: said it, she said it. It came from her mouth.
- 18:53Speaker 2: How is there any stretch of the imagination that Jin
- 18:56Speaker 2: couldn't remember that she said it.
- 18:58Speaker 1: She was sitting right next to her.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Was she blackout drunk? No?
- 19:02Speaker 1: I think we were on our first drink, So can
- 19:06Speaker 1: I just can I paint the picture for you? Yes,
- 19:08Speaker 1: there was a It was a rectangular table. It was me,
- 19:11Speaker 1: Matt Ryan on one side. Directly across from me was
- 19:16Speaker 1: Jen Gretchen Slade. So the guys had one end and
- 19:19Speaker 1: we had one end. Gretchen and Jen are talking, talking, talking.
- 19:22Speaker 1: I'm basically quiet because they're talking about their hatred of Tamara.
- 19:27Speaker 1: So I'm just kind of sitting there listening. I have
- 19:29Speaker 1: a coke in one hand and a Martini in the
- 19:30Speaker 1: other because of our two favorite drinks, so I'm just
- 19:32Speaker 1: like sipping, sipping, sipping, right, So then I'm listening. Then
- 19:35Speaker 1: she tells the story and I like elbow Matt, and
- 19:37Speaker 1: I'm like, listen to this. They told a lot of
- 19:39Speaker 1: stories of things that Tamara had allegedly done to them,
- 19:42Speaker 1: not Jen and Ryan, Gretchen Slade. And this is our
- 19:45Speaker 1: first dinner with Gretchen and Slade. I don't know her, okay.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I've had one lunch with her. I've seen her at
- 19:50Speaker 1: balmaand party. This was end of September, long before she
- 19:55Speaker 1: even knew about casting. She knew about casting in December,
- 19:57Speaker 1: so there there. I don't I don't know. They did know,
- 20:00Speaker 1: and they were setting me up. I don't know whatever.
- 20:02Speaker 1: But I'm going in like, okay, I'm just meeting these
- 20:05Speaker 1: people and they're screaming this from the rooftops in the
- 20:07Speaker 1: middle of a crowded restaurant and you're just meeting me
- 20:10Speaker 1: and people are saying, oh, she said, Oh. I told
- 20:13Speaker 1: her in confidence a friend. I told her, you know
- 20:15Speaker 1: something that was supposed to be sacred or whatever words
- 20:18Speaker 1: she used. She never said, Hey, I'm going to share
- 20:21Speaker 1: this with you. Don't tell anybody this is this is bad.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Bravo is involved. Don't tell anybody. None of that was said.
- 20:27Speaker 2: What's all this? Nine? When one call me? Nine one? One?
- 20:30Speaker 2: Thing that happened when you were in New Orleans.
- 20:32Speaker 1: So, okay, it had come out Tamar had said something
- 20:35Speaker 1: to her, Hey, Katie's going around saying I roofeed you
- 20:38Speaker 1: number one. I'd like to point out I never used
- 20:39Speaker 1: that word, because she didn't use that word. She used
- 20:42Speaker 1: the word drugged, drugged, So I never used that word.
- 20:45Speaker 1: So I got a call from Matt Katie, what is
- 20:49Speaker 1: going on? Slade just called me. He said, you have
- 20:52Speaker 1: to back up, Gretchen tell people she never said it.
- 20:55Speaker 1: He sent me a nine to one one text. He's
- 20:57Speaker 1: called me repeatedly. I mean that, I say so, Well,
- 21:01Speaker 1: I mean, this is all he's ever known. This is
- 21:05Speaker 1: you know, my It's funny.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Yeah, because what he can't get a job for the
- 21:09Speaker 2: last ten years because of He's blaming Tamra for it.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Yes, but why I have no idea. He has a
- 21:18Speaker 1: daughter and I think he needs to work. Yeah, I
- 21:21Speaker 1: don't know. It's funny. My sister in laws don't watch
- 21:27Speaker 1: the show. Well now they do because of me, but
- 21:28Speaker 1: they don't. They don't do reality TV. One's a professor
- 21:31Speaker 1: and well actually they're both professors. And they were in
- 21:33Speaker 1: northern California on a walk in a park, a random park.
- 21:35Speaker 1: They ran into Slade's mom randomly. They sent Matt this
- 21:39Speaker 1: text and it was like a photo of them with
- 21:42Speaker 1: his mom and they're like, we ran into Slade's mom
- 21:44Speaker 1: and she's like, he's a narcissist. He's on his fourth
- 21:48Speaker 1: Orange County Wife Housewife from the show, And.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Why am I missing one?
- 21:53Speaker 1: I know that's what I said, I'm missing one.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Oh he dated Laurie. Oh, so it is for.
- 22:00Speaker 1: And she his mother called him a narcissist. His mother.
- 22:04Speaker 1: So I'm like, I so I didn't even respond, but
- 22:07Speaker 1: Matt responded like, we know, yeah, okay.
- 22:10Speaker 2: So you think this is where it's just driving me
- 22:14Speaker 2: so bananas. I'm gonna just I feel like I'm beating
- 22:17Speaker 2: a dead horse. But like, as your friend have you
- 22:20Speaker 2: had as like a friend of yours, have you said
- 22:23Speaker 2: to Jen off camera? Why are you pretending you heard nothing?
- 22:29Speaker 1: So yeah, sort of after New Orleans we talked a
- 22:32Speaker 1: little bit, but not really. I was pretty drained from
- 22:37Speaker 1: that trip. You saw me kind of reach out to
- 22:41Speaker 1: her at that Lie Detector party. I was like, Jen,
- 22:44Speaker 1: you know, I meet with her and I try to
- 22:46Speaker 1: tell her like you've probably seen the clip. The clip
- 22:48Speaker 1: is online a US meeting for coffee and I was like,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm kind of hurt that you never reached out to
- 22:53Speaker 1: me last night after the Lie Detector party and she
- 22:56Speaker 1: was like, well, I was mad, and I was like, what,
- 23:00Speaker 1: We've talked on the phone about it. We've had exchanges
- 23:02Speaker 1: about it. I called her when Gretchen got cast and
- 23:05Speaker 1: I said, do you remember this happened? And she was like, here,
- 23:08Speaker 1: talk to Slade because they were in Palm Springs and
- 23:09Speaker 1: there were some fans around them. Then I text Gretchen,
- 23:13Speaker 1: I will never bring this up. Okay, I have that receipt.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I will never bring this up.
- 23:19Speaker 2: So you text Gretchen, I'll never bring this up. So
- 23:21Speaker 2: you don't. I don't, you don't. But then when it
- 23:25Speaker 2: is brought up, that's where you kind of went into
- 23:28Speaker 2: your shell.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Correct. So I went to that dinner and New Orleans like, Okay,
- 23:32Speaker 1: I got to protect my friend or she's going to
- 23:34Speaker 1: be in trouble and I'm going to be in trouble.
- 23:36Speaker 2: I also heard that Gretchen wasn't great TV on that
- 23:39Speaker 2: episode on that season of that we never saw.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Oh, I thought you meant the no tears part of
- 23:45Speaker 1: my episode.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Was that the gee, no, how did she just have
- 23:54Speaker 2: her wisdom teeth removed? When you were in New Orleans?
- 23:56Speaker 2: Like what happened?
- 23:57Speaker 1: I think that was the microphone?
- 24:00Speaker 2: What's going on? Can I set a fish girl? When
- 24:03Speaker 2: you guys were on the boat not knowing wherever you
- 24:06Speaker 2: are on?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Okay, I think it was the microphone because you noticed
- 24:08Speaker 1: the scene with Tamar when she's telling her, when she's
- 24:10Speaker 1: like outing me for whatever I allegedly did. Tamar's microphone
- 24:13Speaker 1: was like that too.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Oh.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I think it was the microphone.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Okay, because I was like what I heard it too?
- 24:18Speaker 2: I was like, cotton balls in your mouth? Is going
- 24:20Speaker 2: on here?
- 24:20Speaker 1: Maybe if she did and she's under amnesia, we'd get
- 24:22Speaker 1: the truth.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yes, oh my go Jen needs some cotton balls.
- 24:26Speaker 1: A detector test. We have an amnesia party. Oh, let's
- 24:28Speaker 1: have where we all get like drugs and then we
- 24:31Speaker 1: come out of it and they ask us questions.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Speaking of amnetia, how does Gretchen forget that she's done
- 24:37Speaker 2: a lie detector test before with the same guy, with
- 24:39Speaker 2: the same guy, and you know how I feel about
- 24:41Speaker 2: that guy.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Well, everyone feels the way you feel about that guy.
- 24:44Speaker 2: So just to give you guys the don percent, now,
- 24:47Speaker 2: Gretchen went on with him on Marriage boot Camp. She
- 24:52Speaker 2: did a lie detector test with him. So when she
- 24:54Speaker 2: says she's never taken a lie detector test before, she
- 24:57Speaker 2: has been on marriage boot Camp.
- 24:59Speaker 1: But can I tell, are you something funny? Not funny?
- 25:03Speaker 2: In funny but not funny but not funny?
- 25:05Speaker 1: In that scene Okay, they didn't show this, but in
- 25:08Speaker 1: that scene she was pacing. We were all a little
- 25:11Speaker 1: bit nervous. I was this physically sick before.
- 25:14Speaker 2: What was making you physically sick when you heard lie
- 25:17Speaker 2: detector test.
- 25:17Speaker 1: No, I got there and I was sick before they
- 25:21Speaker 1: even announced. People are like, oh, she's sick, she's a liar. No,
- 25:24Speaker 1: it's because I got into that room of a bunch
- 25:25Speaker 1: of people that don't like me, walking into a house
- 25:28Speaker 1: of a woman that hates me. It doesn't feel that
- 25:30Speaker 1: great and soon to be kicked out. Correct. She was
- 25:33Speaker 1: pacing back and forth, and she goes, you know, I
- 25:35Speaker 1: think they've had a lie detector on another housewife show.
- 25:39Speaker 1: She said that, and I was like, they did. And
- 25:42Speaker 1: then someone else and I honestly can't name who it was,
- 25:46Speaker 1: I don't remember, said oh, yeah, they did on Beverly Hills.
- 25:49Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, that's weird, you know. And
- 25:52Speaker 1: I'm sitting there like, oh my god, and I'm just
- 25:55Speaker 1: sipping water. And they showed that in the teaser because
- 25:57Speaker 1: it makes feel guilty. But I had just three times.
- 26:01Speaker 2: And so you were sick prior to arriving. It was,
- 26:04Speaker 2: it was prior to finding out those lives.
- 26:05Speaker 1: It wasn't a stomach bug. I was literally so anxious
- 26:08Speaker 1: about just being.
- 26:09Speaker 2: There, just being there around people that you didn't feel
- 26:12Speaker 2: comfortable with.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I was in the car service all the
- 26:14Speaker 1: way down and I was like, forgot to take my
- 26:16Speaker 1: anxiety medicine. I should have turned around and got it.
- 26:18Speaker 1: And also, I'm leaving my kids for this. Yeah you know,
- 26:21Speaker 1: like that, doesn't you know this?
- 26:22Speaker 2: I know? But also we can't say here's the thing,
- 26:25Speaker 2: I'm going to give you another thing. What I'm leaving
- 26:28Speaker 2: my kids for this. We all leave our kids for
- 26:30Speaker 2: our jobs. Yeah it happened, I know, But you have
- 26:33Speaker 2: to also say, like I signed up to do this,
- 26:36Speaker 2: I'm here to do this, and that's why I went.
- 26:38Speaker 2: And but this is where you got to fight for
- 26:39Speaker 2: yourself a little bit. When people are doing you wrong.
- 26:43Speaker 2: You have to stand up for yourself, like not to Jen.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Did you hear that? No, it's I want you to
- 26:49Speaker 2: go into the reunion and be like, Jen, there isn't
- 26:52Speaker 2: a glimmer of hope that I forgot that you heard
- 26:58Speaker 2: this conversation, Like you need to hold her feet to
- 27:00Speaker 2: the fire.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Well, now, looking back, when I did call her in
- 27:03Speaker 1: Palm Springs and she hot potato the phone to Ryan, yeah,
- 27:05Speaker 1: I think she was like, oh shit, does.
- 27:07Speaker 2: He do all her dirty work?
- 27:09Speaker 1: I don't know the answer to that.
- 27:10Speaker 2: You don't know that. You're good at You're good at avoiding.
- 27:14Speaker 1: The question, what are you talking about?
- 27:17Speaker 2: I don't know my first day on the job here, detective.
- 27:21Speaker 1: I think slave does for a fact. I know that
- 27:24Speaker 1: for a fact, But I don't know truly. I don't
- 27:25Speaker 1: know about Ryan. No, he's always been really nice to me.
- 27:30Speaker 1: But I don't know why both of them aren't, like
- 27:32Speaker 1: you know what they kind of did slip up and
- 27:34Speaker 1: see them, yeah.
- 27:35Speaker 2: You know. Kiki also brought up Gina, asking if you
- 27:49Speaker 2: were wearing Asian designers, why did you not make it
- 27:53Speaker 2: a bigger deal last season or this season? Like you
- 27:57Speaker 2: kind of we only can kind of men it to Jen.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Correct off the side while you guys are on the bikes.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Correct that was last season?
- 28:05Speaker 2: Oh that was last season.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Again. I was in the frame of mind, I need
- 28:11Speaker 1: to repair my relationships, and if I were to address
- 28:14Speaker 1: that with Gina when she already hates me because of Emily,
- 28:17Speaker 1: you think that that would have repaired a relationship, that
- 28:19Speaker 1: would have just brought us way backwards. So I didn't
- 28:22Speaker 1: bring it up. It is. It was very hurtful. Again,
- 28:25Speaker 1: I said this yesterday. I am not looking to Gina
- 28:29Speaker 1: for advice on how to be Asian or how Asian
- 28:32Speaker 1: I need to be. So I'm going to do that
- 28:35Speaker 1: on my I.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Could give you your roses there. That's probably a good.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Idea, Okay, So I'm just gonna I'm going to do
- 28:41Speaker 1: that on my own.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, Or how to dress or how to make tiktoks?
- 28:46Speaker 2: Should you ask her or Gretchen and Jen how to
- 28:49Speaker 2: make tiktoks?
- 28:50Speaker 1: Well, they just copied it, So no, I literally, I
- 28:54Speaker 1: literally just wanted to highlight Asian brands. I said that
- 28:57Speaker 1: to my stylist, I said that to Matt, I said
- 28:59Speaker 1: that to all my friends. Because I'm the first Asian
- 29:02Speaker 1: on Orange County. Why wouldn't I do that. I never
- 29:05Speaker 1: said it's going to be exclusive. You know, I do
- 29:07Speaker 1: wear Zara and stuff, like it's not Asian.
- 29:10Speaker 2: But I feel like you said Balenciaga, like they panned
- 29:14Speaker 2: to that, Like I'm like, yeah, of course that's what.
- 29:17Speaker 2: And the difference between first season and second season is
- 29:19Speaker 2: very different.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:21Speaker 2: I mean my first season, I remember having a pair
- 29:23Speaker 2: of wedges on like super high and like booty shorts
- 29:26Speaker 2: and like going into Kyle's stone. Probably it was it's
- 29:30Speaker 2: what got me the.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Job that Booty.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Your stylist did a TikTok to defend you. Can you
- 29:37Speaker 2: can you go into this a little bit?
- 29:39Speaker 1: Yeah, So they were really offended because Gina said, these
- 29:41Speaker 1: two fucking stylists, and they were like, she doesn't realize
- 29:45Speaker 1: that more than half of my looks are either an
- 29:47Speaker 1: Asian designer or an Asian creative director. And if you look,
- 29:52Speaker 1: a lot of my jewelry are Korean owned brands. I
- 29:56Speaker 1: just don't say it. Hi, this is Korean my necklace.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Do you want to see it? Yeah? I don't.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I don't you know, No, you just want to promote it.
- 30:03Speaker 1: You it's correct, Yeah, I don't. They did a TikTok
- 30:08Speaker 1: showing some of the looks that are some of our
- 30:10Speaker 1: favorites from last season and a few from this season,
- 30:13Speaker 1: proving that or Ve Lazier creative director is Michelle Ox,
- 30:17Speaker 1: which is also at Ox, which was my gallery shoot
- 30:21Speaker 1: Silver Dress. She's Filipino, Like, we we have to get
- 30:24Speaker 1: past this. Oh it's not called you know, Katie, you
- 30:28Speaker 1: and it's you know, like it's so, I don't know
- 30:34Speaker 1: what to tell you, but it's literally an Asian creative director.
- 30:38Speaker 1: I'm I am highlighting in the industry, and.
- 30:42Speaker 2: You're well versed and you're passionate and you're doing what
- 30:45Speaker 2: you love. Yeah, but I also don't want to be,
- 30:49Speaker 2: you know, sitting here trying to kiss your butt and
- 30:51Speaker 2: all the things I know.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Keep going.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Do you think the lie to test detective party will
- 31:00Speaker 2: a setup?
- 31:00Speaker 1: One hundred percent? I felt that way when I was
- 31:03Speaker 1: there and when I was leaving, I was very upset,
- 31:07Speaker 1: but I didn't know I can't prove it. And then
- 31:09Speaker 1: watching it back when they were like, oh, we have
- 31:11Speaker 1: a plan and we got Katie. Don't worry about we
- 31:14Speaker 1: got her.
- 31:15Speaker 2: And nobody seemed to care what everybody else was lying about.
- 31:18Speaker 1: No, it was all about me. That's how it kind
- 31:20Speaker 1: of shows you. In the moment, I couldn't have put
- 31:23Speaker 1: two and two together. I was like, you know, it
- 31:26Speaker 1: was all happening fast. But looking back thirty thousand feet
- 31:29Speaker 1: and now watching, wow.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Yeah it was a setup. It was a setup. And
- 31:35Speaker 2: I can say from personal memory, a lie detector test
- 31:41Speaker 2: isn't actually valid unless it's skinned to skin. I think
- 31:46Speaker 2: we google this.
- 31:47Speaker 1: A lot of people have said that to me. Also,
- 31:49Speaker 1: light detector tests take like four to six hours per
- 31:52Speaker 1: person in a controlled environment, not in Emily's closet.
- 31:57Speaker 2: You know that not a controlled environment.
- 31:59Speaker 1: And also the lie detector administrator needs to be certified
- 32:02Speaker 1: within California to legally do it, and allegedly those two
- 32:08Speaker 1: people are not certified. Yeah, they have no certification.
- 32:12Speaker 2: They're they're paid actors. On their allegedly.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Allegedly on their website, it says like a B and
- 32:18Speaker 1: C a menu list of what you can get for money,
- 32:21Speaker 1: and one of the options is full acting.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I made this fight before, and I've got no war.
- 32:26Speaker 1: With I'm backing you up. You are vindicated, Thank you,
- 32:30Speaker 1: You're vindicated.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Okay, Then we got to talk about the Big Cast trip.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Were you put on pause or why weren't you there?
- 32:42Speaker 1: I mean, I think you just have to watch and see.
- 32:47Speaker 1: But I did want to go on that trip.
- 32:49Speaker 2: You did want to You would have gone, Yes, you
- 32:51Speaker 2: would have gone, Okay, gone, that's good to know. If
- 32:54Speaker 2: you return. What's the first conversation that has to happen.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Well, I think all those conversations are going to happen
- 33:00Speaker 1: at the reunion, right. I think I'm owed some apologies.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I was really hurt. I felt used. I feel like
- 33:09Speaker 1: that was a setup. Yeah, I don't know. I need
- 33:13Speaker 1: to see how the reunion goes.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Can we promise to never say your truth again?
- 33:20Speaker 1: I didn't choose that.
- 33:22Speaker 2: I know you didn't choose it, but you have said, like, well,
- 33:24Speaker 2: that is my truth.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I have never said that is my truth. That Jen
- 33:27Speaker 1: Ponti said, Oh that I have never said that. Okay, Well,
- 33:32Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say never never never never say.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Speaking out Hello. I also, I just want.
- 33:38Speaker 1: To want to don't say my truth because that sounds
- 33:42Speaker 1: like it's a lie.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it does it. It is my tagline, it is
- 33:47Speaker 2: your My tagline is was I'll never do your dirty work.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Meanwhile I was doing everyone's dirty work. So a professional
- 33:55Speaker 2: of tagline. I know there's like five or six taglines,
- 33:58Speaker 2: and then you kind of say the ones that you're
- 34:00Speaker 2: comfortable saying.
- 34:00Speaker 1: And then I wanted to write some fun ones, but
- 34:03Speaker 1: I don't. I didn't get to write any of them.
- 34:05Speaker 2: But you didn't get picked. Did any of them get picked?
- 34:08Speaker 1: No, I didn't get to write any.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Oh I wrote some, but none of them are ever used. Well, Rat,
- 34:14Speaker 2: what are your thoughts on the fact that Gina said
- 34:17Speaker 2: in an interview that if you come back, she won't.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I think it's very sad and I don't think I'm
- 34:22Speaker 1: that scary.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I think, do you think it's true? Let's let's be blunt.
- 34:30Speaker 2: You think that's the truth. No, no, me neither.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I don't think it's the truth.
- 34:35Speaker 2: So don't speak in absolute Gina.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I know, honestly, I've seen them say like I'm the
- 34:41Speaker 1: Monica Garcia moment of the season. What no, what? There
- 34:47Speaker 1: was no, there was none of that. I don't think
- 34:49Speaker 1: I'm that scary or horrible to be around. I really don't.
- 34:54Speaker 2: I think you just need a friend, a real friend.
- 34:57Speaker 2: You need a real friend. And all this showed me
- 35:00Speaker 2: was that Jen and Gina both are easily is it pliable?
- 35:06Speaker 2: Is that the word?
- 35:08Speaker 1: But but Teddy, don't you think that the housewife I'm
- 35:11Speaker 1: not going to say game, but game is deflection, Like,
- 35:16Speaker 1: of course it's deflection.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Okay, But but then if you in these moments, if
- 35:21Speaker 2: you're getting if you're getting hammered, and there is a
- 35:24Speaker 2: percentage of a chance, that's where you could have said, like, yeah,
- 35:28Speaker 2: I do gossip with Kiki Monique all the time.
- 35:31Speaker 1: What was leave time?
- 35:32Speaker 2: All right? One time time I gossiped with Kiki Monique once.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Yeah I did gossip. I did, But I did say
- 35:41Speaker 1: we went to lunch, right.
- 35:42Speaker 2: But end of sentence, okay, and then people can take
- 35:46Speaker 2: that with with what they want, okay, and then you
- 35:49Speaker 2: then you're able to move on. But if you're if
- 35:51Speaker 2: you're swearing on your life, if you're doing this, you're
- 35:53Speaker 2: doing all these things, then people don't believe you.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:56Speaker 2: But yeah, of course, yeah, I love Kiki Monique. She's hilarious. Yeah.
- 36:00Speaker 2: I saw at a couple of parties and we went
- 36:02Speaker 2: out to lunch once and gossiped.
- 36:04Speaker 1: We did.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Yeah the end are you lying there? No, No, I'm
- 36:09Speaker 2: not a lie detector, but like there's nothing.
- 36:12Speaker 1: You are good. Actually we need you instead anyway.
- 36:19Speaker 2: That should be my new job, add to my resume.
- 36:22Speaker 2: So in our final question, if you were to guess
- 36:26Speaker 2: what the seating arrangement would be at the union, what
- 36:28Speaker 2: do you think it would be?
- 36:30Speaker 1: Probably me and then everyone else quite literally next to me.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Who's who's on one side of the couch?
- 36:41Speaker 1: Everybody but me?
- 36:42Speaker 2: No, you can't. You have to. This is we have
- 36:45Speaker 2: to do. Legists. Let's break it down.
- 36:47Speaker 1: I really think that on one side, I'm not saying
- 36:50Speaker 1: this is in no particular order. I think on one
- 36:52Speaker 1: side it would probably be me, Heather and Tamera and
- 36:55Speaker 1: the other side everyone else. That's what I think. I mean, Tamor,
- 36:58Speaker 1: I mean, Heather doesn't like me, but she is dear
- 37:01Speaker 1: friends with Tamra. Yeah, you know, but.
- 37:03Speaker 2: I think Heather could like you. I think that because
- 37:06Speaker 2: I think you're likable in person.
- 37:11Speaker 1: What do you try to say? Was that a dig?
- 37:13Speaker 1: It's a little bit of a dig. That is not
- 37:16Speaker 1: very nice.
- 37:16Speaker 2: I know, but I met you in person, so I
- 37:18Speaker 2: already liked you.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Okay, that's good. I will say I really appreciate when
- 37:21Speaker 1: I did see you at that same US Weekly party.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Yeah for Kyle, the one that Kyle was on the cover.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Yes, you were very kind. You knew that the reunion
- 37:30Speaker 1: was really difficult for me, and I do appreciate that.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I think you made me cry because that was I
- 37:35Speaker 1: just I was on the heels of filming that and
- 37:37Speaker 1: I was very emotional, and you made me feel really good.
- 37:40Speaker 2: I think that's the thing. No, But like I met
- 37:42Speaker 2: you and I was like, this is a likable person.
- 37:45Speaker 2: I think the problem is if there's too many cooks
- 37:47Speaker 2: in the kitchen. I agree, then it's hard. And I
- 37:50Speaker 2: think that because you are new, you're not fighting for yourself.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I do need to fight more for myself, but I
- 37:57Speaker 1: and I also feel like I need time to show
- 37:58Speaker 1: who I am. I don't think anyone. Everyone just thinks
- 38:01Speaker 1: I'm a shitster that actually don't know anything about me.
- 38:04Speaker 1: People have messaged me like, I want to see more
- 38:05Speaker 1: of your home life. I want to see more of
- 38:07Speaker 1: you and your daughter.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Yeah, like I want to understand you a little bit
- 38:10Speaker 2: more so than I can judge you.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Better make digs. You want to make more digs? Teddy Godly, Yeah, right,
- 38:20Speaker 1: this is what it is.
- 38:22Speaker 2: There's been rumblings that Shannon isn't going to be asked
- 38:26Speaker 2: back as a full time housewife.
- 38:28Speaker 1: I don't know, but she did tell me once and
- 38:30Speaker 1: recently said in an interview, I think that her daughters
- 38:33Speaker 1: are in New York City and she wants to be
- 38:35Speaker 1: and her her daughters.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Oh well, maybe that's it. I don't know, Maybe that's it.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I mean, if my kids moved across the country, I
- 38:42Speaker 1: would go, yeah, yeah, I would stalk them and follow them.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Well, I really appreciate you coming on the twats. You
- 38:48Speaker 2: can see we're nice and twatty, but you know, and.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Maybe you can change Erica's mind because I saw the clips.
- 38:53Speaker 1: She said she didn't want to know me.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Yea, she said she didn't want to be your friend.
- 38:57Speaker 2: I know that.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Talk about a dagger.
- 39:00Speaker 2: You know what. She didn't want to be my friend
- 39:01Speaker 2: for two years and now she's one of my best friends.
- 39:03Speaker 2: So you know, there's there's home shame.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Oh my god, she's my muse of like fashion. I
- 39:08Speaker 1: look at her and I'm like, can I be Erica
- 39:10Speaker 1: Jane one day?
- 39:11Speaker 2: She's lovely. You would love her, and once you meet
- 39:13Speaker 2: in person, you will, Okay. I think it's hard to
- 39:16Speaker 2: judge people solely off of what you see on television.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, and I did. I can I just
- 39:23Speaker 1: say really quick, I first met you last year filming
- 39:26Speaker 1: that Traders party, and I was a little scared of you.
- 39:29Speaker 1: You were to meet you because you you are a
- 39:32Speaker 1: very strong personality, and what I remembered of you being
- 39:35Speaker 1: on Beverly Hills, I was like, oh fuck, she's gonna
- 39:37Speaker 1: hate me her. And then I met you and I
- 39:39Speaker 1: was like, first of all, you're stunning in person. I
- 39:42Speaker 1: think I told you. I was like, tod you, why
- 39:43Speaker 1: are you so hot? And then I was like she's
- 39:45Speaker 1: so nice?
- 39:46Speaker 2: Oh thank you?
- 39:47Speaker 1: Were so normal and nice, and I was like, Okay,
- 39:48Speaker 1: there's nothing to.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Be scared of.
- 39:49Speaker 1: She was actually really great.
- 39:51Speaker 2: I think that's that what ends up happening a lot
- 39:53Speaker 2: of the time. You it's like people thinking, you know, oh,
- 39:57Speaker 2: people always you're still I bet you're.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Tall, and I'm like, I did think you were taller.
- 40:02Speaker 1: People always think I'm tall and then they meet me
- 40:04Speaker 1: and they're like, and you're a tramp.
- 40:05Speaker 2: I know. Yeah, so it's I'm like, you're towering over me.
- 40:10Speaker 2: So but yeah, you guys. Thank you guys for tuning
- 40:13Speaker 2: in for another episode of to Teas in a Pod.
- 40:16Speaker 2: I hope that you listen to this podcast and that
- 40:18Speaker 2: you listen with open ears, actually listen to it, listen
- 40:22Speaker 2: to the facts, and so that way we can go
- 40:24Speaker 2: into the reunion and have some fun fun. You gotta
- 40:28Speaker 2: make it fun.
- 40:29Speaker 1: What part of it is fun?
- 40:32Speaker 2: Listen you need it's not read.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Something I am from Atlanta. It's not that I don't
- 40:38Speaker 1: know how okay, because what goes on up here, I.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Know I can see you processing and then not saying
- 40:45Speaker 2: what you're actually thinking. I'm scared. I did the same thing,
- 40:48Speaker 2: and I regret it. I'm telling you.
- 40:50Speaker 1: But okay, I have a re recording. Is think about
- 40:53Speaker 1: what my history, my work history is. I work in golf.
- 40:58Speaker 1: You think we're like, yeah, I had a bitch and golf. No,
- 41:01Speaker 1: we're very much like great to meet you, right, So
- 41:04Speaker 1: it's nice I am switching gears up here, do you
- 41:07Speaker 1: know what I mean?
- 41:08Speaker 2: I know, but just that first gear that kicks in,
- 41:10Speaker 2: that's the one I want you to go with at
- 41:12Speaker 2: the reunions deal.
- 41:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it in my mind, this is for Teddy,
- 41:20Speaker 1: all right, Thanks guys, Hi
