• 2:11
  Speaker 5: But then.
• 2:15
Speaker 6: I tripped on a clouding fairly eight miles high high.
• 2:19
Speaker 4: I told my bag on a jagged sky.
• 2:23
Speaker 7: I just dropped in to see.
• 2:26
Speaker 4: What condition my condition was in?
• 2:30
Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, what condition my condition?
• 2:46
Speaker 3: Welcome? Everybody did doctor Coriuper's Natural Health Hours. It is
• 2:50
Speaker 3: the first of July twenty twenty six, boy June blue
• 2:55
Speaker 3: high fast. I was just telling Susie and Bill that
• 2:59
Speaker 3: by outdoor censor that is in the sunshine reached one
• 3:04
Speaker 3: oh seven point two today and then it dropped when
• 3:08
Speaker 3: the shade hit And when I came in here just
• 3:11
Speaker 3: a moment ago, we were back at about one o three.
• 3:13
Speaker 3: So it's a little warm. And they say the UV
• 3:18
Speaker 3: is high, and that's why people feel that uncomfortable feeling
• 3:22
Speaker 3: on their skin. So unless you have to, don't stay
• 3:26
Speaker 3: out there too much unprotected because it with that high UV,
• 3:30
Speaker 3: it could mess you up a little.
• 3:32
  Speaker 9: Bit.
• 3:32
Speaker 3: Anyway, we got Susie, Bill and myself all on Zoom,
• 3:36
Speaker 3: and Susie's been producing and co hosting, and Bill's been
• 3:42
Speaker 3: in the background doing all the technical stuff that he
• 3:45
Speaker 3: pretends he can't do, and I'm here just kind of
• 3:48
Speaker 3: following along. So we'll let them say Hello, Susie.
• 3:54
Speaker 1: Hello you, thanks for joining us this evening.
• 3:58
  Speaker 7: Howdy folks.
• 4:00
Speaker 3: All right, well tonight we are going to talk. And
• 4:06
Speaker 3: this affects women more than anything else but memory loss.
• 4:13
Speaker 3: And if a woman is on estrogen, one of the
• 4:17
Speaker 3: things that I've seen over the years is cancer, and
• 4:23
Speaker 3: that's a bad thing. And they even had a government
• 4:27
Speaker 3: research thing come out a few years back that said
• 4:31
Speaker 3: they could definitely tie estrogen to cancer, especially breast cancer,
• 4:42
Speaker 3: and they were still prescribing it after the research. And
• 4:47
Speaker 3: I lost count of how many women come to me
• 4:50
Speaker 3: and we're doing estrogen and thought they needed it. And
• 4:54
Speaker 3: what happens. They start going through either irregular menstrual cycle
• 5:00
Speaker 3: are menopause, and they get hot flashes and vaginal dryness
• 5:05
Speaker 3: and mood swings, all those lovely things that you'd rather
• 5:09
Speaker 3: not deal with, and the doctors they would go to
• 5:14
Speaker 3: would give them progesterone cream or estrogen or both and
• 5:19
Speaker 3: it would kind of mask the symptoms. But that was
• 5:25
Speaker 3: like painting over the rust, and everything was going bad.
• 5:29
Speaker 3: And then if you complain long enough, they do a
• 5:31
Speaker 3: partial or a full hysterectomy because they know that God
• 5:36
Speaker 3: gave you a lot of spare parts and you ladies
• 5:38
Speaker 3: really just don't need them. And boy have I seen
• 5:42
Speaker 3: some poor women suffering over the years. And the relationships
• 5:47
Speaker 3: were taken a beating because it interfered with any intimacy
• 5:53
Speaker 3: and mood swings and you know, hot flashes and then
• 5:59
Speaker 3: cold and it was just hell for the husband and
• 6:02
Speaker 3: the wife. So one of the things that I had
• 6:06
Speaker 3: to tell people is, let's fix it the right way.
• 6:09
Speaker 3: Let's balance your hormones. Let's get the adrenals in the
• 6:12
Speaker 3: thyroid and the pituitary and oparies are the testes all
• 6:18
Speaker 3: working together, and the hypothalamus talks to all them guys.
• 6:26
Speaker 3: So what happens is if you're an older woman and
• 6:31
  Speaker 3: I didn't say says they's names, so don't be looking
• 6:34
Speaker 3: at me like that, but if you're an older woman,
• 6:37
Speaker 3: the potential for seer memory loss can wreck your life
• 6:43
Speaker 3: in that of your family, and it begins with a
• 6:46
Speaker 3: simple prescription for estrogen, and they're going to help you
• 6:51
Speaker 3: through menopause, and it'll continue until you develop breast or
• 6:56
Speaker 3: endometriosis or cancer. And somebody is knocking on my door.
• 7:06
Speaker 3: I wish they could go away. So anyway, if you
• 7:09
Speaker 3: get breast cancer, the estrogen prescribed will be immediately stopped
• 7:14
Speaker 3: because they know, and nobody's gonna say I'm sorry. And
• 7:19
Speaker 3: if you get into metriol or uterine cancer, and you
• 7:23
Speaker 3: know the cancer was caused by the only cause of
• 7:25
Speaker 3: uterine cancer, estrogen, you will have a complete hysterectomy or
• 7:31
Speaker 3: a partial hysterectomy because all them partridge bears and we
• 7:36
Speaker 3: just don't need them. So anyway, when they stop the estrogen,
• 7:42
Speaker 3: immediately stop because they're in a panic. Well dial your
• 7:46
Speaker 3: body's in a big, old giant shock. But either way,
• 7:49
Speaker 3: you will be thrown into an estrogen withdrawal crisis. And
• 7:53
Speaker 3: it's worse than menopause. So you thought it, well, you
• 7:56
Speaker 3: suffering with menopause, now you got estrogen withdrawal. And this
• 8:01
Speaker 3: immediate estrogen withdrawal causes memory loss, bad memory loss once
• 8:08
Speaker 3: it sets in the only effective treatment for this condition,
• 8:13
Speaker 3: which can rob you of your dignity and family. You know,
• 8:20
Speaker 3: happens that be tens of thousands of women, as probably
• 8:23
Speaker 3: happens to lots, and it doesn't get reported. You won't
• 8:27
Speaker 3: see it on the news, but all thanks to American
• 8:31
Speaker 3: medical treatment and bad bad news. Now, how we deal
• 8:38
Speaker 3: with this, and it depends on the symptoms, of course,
• 8:44
Speaker 3: But immediately simplex F, which is the protomorphagin that handles adrenals,
• 8:51
Speaker 3: pituitary thyroid over ease, or testes. So you've got simplex
• 8:56
Speaker 3: F and simplex M. Then we got thyroid complex and
• 9:01
Speaker 3: very important is the fatty acids, the essential fatty acids.
• 9:07
Speaker 3: So I like the cod liver oil with vitamin A
• 9:11
Speaker 3: and D. That's wonderful. Then we want some black currencyed
• 9:15
Speaker 3: oil in the mix. We want some prolamine iodine because
• 9:19
Speaker 3: iodine is very important whether you're having irregular menstrual cycles
• 9:25
Speaker 3: or menopause or just regular life. And that's that's gonna
• 9:31
Speaker 3: help a lot. And what usually takes place is they've
• 9:38
Speaker 3: made you worse and worse and worse, and they know
• 9:43
Speaker 3: that the estrogen caused it. And what I can't figure
• 9:46
Speaker 3: out is why when they know estrogen is the problem,
• 9:51
Speaker 3: that they continue doing it even after it proved that
• 9:54
Speaker 3: it caused cancer. It's just unbelievable, absolute, positively unbelievable. So ladies,
• 10:04
Speaker 3: especially if you're going through menopause or irregular menstrual cycles,
• 10:10
Speaker 3: painful menstrual cycles, bleeding too long, not bleeding enough, on
• 10:15
Speaker 3: and off, we can help that kind of stuff. And again,
• 10:19
Speaker 3: we talked about this a lot. Every nutritional bottle that
• 10:24
Speaker 3: doesn't come from the pharmacy says this has not been
• 10:29
Speaker 3: approved or verified by the FDA.
• 10:33
  Speaker 5: It is not.
• 10:34
Speaker 3: Intended to heal, cure, help, diagnose, or treat anything in
• 10:39
Speaker 3: any way. Well, but that's not true. Every time a
• 10:44
Speaker 3: doctor that's worth assault gives you a product, he's hoping,
• 10:50
Speaker 3: unless he's a sales slut, he's hoping for results and
• 10:56
Speaker 3: healing and getting you back to normal. And it means
• 11:00
Speaker 3: an awful lot to somebody like me because I can't
• 11:04
Speaker 3: stand that people are suffering. I don't want anybody to suffer.
• 11:08
Speaker 3: I want to help. I remember a couple came to
• 11:12
Speaker 3: me and the woman was going to very rough menopause
• 11:17
Speaker 3: to the point of their intimacy was gone, and she
• 11:22
Speaker 3: had vaginal dryness, so that made intimacy even worse, and
• 11:29
Speaker 3: one of the things that I've used for that is
• 11:32
Speaker 3: wild Yam complex. It works wonderful and in a short
• 11:38
Speaker 3: period of time her and her husband had their life
• 11:42
Speaker 3: back and she was feeling good. The mood swings changed,
• 11:46
Speaker 3: everything changed. I think I told this before, but it's
• 11:51
Speaker 3: worth repeating that. We had one lady come to us
• 11:55
Speaker 3: and she said, Doc, I'm here because you help so
• 11:58
Speaker 3: and so. And she said, I've had problems with bleeding
• 12:04
Speaker 3: for eight years. I said what she said, yeah, off
• 12:10
Speaker 3: and on, but mostly on, and nobody's been able to
• 12:15
Speaker 3: do anything, and they've given me everything. So I pulled
• 12:19
Speaker 3: out a product I think it was called oves. It's
• 12:24
Speaker 3: one of the things that we have for ovarian stuff
• 12:28
Speaker 3: and period problems, and within a week she called me
• 12:34
Speaker 3: up and said, for the first time in years, she
• 12:38
Speaker 3: didn't have that problem anymore. So there's a lot of
• 12:42
Speaker 3: tools in our toolbox. And no matter what the label
• 12:46
Speaker 3: says about the FDA and not trying to heal or cure,
• 12:51
Speaker 3: what you can't tell somebody is this for sure is
• 12:55
Speaker 3: going to do this, because that would get you in
• 12:59
Speaker 3: trouble with the FDA and the pharmaceutical industry and the
• 13:03
Speaker 3: AMA and all them people, But what you can tell
• 13:07
Speaker 3: them is I've had great success and seen improvements in
• 13:11
Speaker 3: people's health by doing certain things. And the nice thing
• 13:16
Speaker 3: about doing good products is you can't hurt now OVX
• 13:22
Speaker 3: and there's also ovotrophy PMG, which is a protomorphagen. They're
• 13:28
Speaker 3: good for tumors, insist. They're good for not having a period,
• 13:37
Speaker 3: maybe too much of a period of vagin itis, irregular
• 13:42
Speaker 3: excessive flow, and after menopause. So unfortunately women go through
• 13:51
Speaker 3: hell with that. And if you get to that point
• 13:55
Speaker 3: and you haven't done anything to balance, and you've been
• 13:58
Speaker 3: on estrogen or progesterone cream and then all of a sudden,
• 14:05
Speaker 3: you're gonna have memory problems. So are they want to
• 14:09
Speaker 3: do a partial hysterectomy or a full hysterectomy. You don't
• 14:13
Speaker 3: have spare parts, ladies. They're not in there to say
• 14:17
Speaker 3: that we can, you know, zip and get rid of
• 14:20
Speaker 3: them and put the zipper back down. It doesn't work
• 14:22
Speaker 3: that way. That everything belongs there. And just because you're
• 14:27
Speaker 3: past the age of maybe having a baby and getting
• 14:30
Speaker 3: pregnant doesn't mean the factory completely shuts everything down. And
• 14:36
Speaker 3: so we want to keep you healthy and it's important
• 14:41
Speaker 3: to you know, to eat a balanced diet. It's important
• 14:45
Speaker 3: to take things that maintain your health on a regular basis,
• 14:49
Speaker 3: but very important that we balance the hormones and get
• 14:53
Speaker 3: all this stuff on board so you don't lose your
• 14:59
Speaker 3: memory or have all these problems. But when you get
• 15:04
Speaker 3: a full blown estrogen withdrawal, because I'll stop it if
• 15:07
Speaker 3: you get cancer, then immediately, the ESTERN withdrawal is a
• 15:14
Speaker 3: memory loss, and it's bad, bad news. Susie.
• 15:21
Speaker 10: Yeah, it just uh, I think the medical community.
• 15:31
Speaker 1: Sees women as inferior people that they can experiment on.
• 15:42
Speaker 1: You know, I love that term. I'm being facetious practice medicine,
• 15:48
Speaker 1: and I think they practice medicine on women. But you know,
• 15:52
Speaker 1: and you know, just so I'm clear, long before you know,
• 15:58
Speaker 1: I met you when I was on that journey and
• 16:02
Speaker 1: I was looking for answers because I didn't want to
• 16:06
Speaker 1: go towards HRT. I had more sense than that. And
• 16:13
Speaker 1: I've had really really bad experiences with female gynecologists. Actually
• 16:21
Speaker 1: it was creepier than men. And so one woman, you know,
• 16:26
Speaker 1: when when I was complaining of my symptoms, said something about,
• 16:31
Speaker 1: you know, the estrogen therapy, and I said, nope, it's
• 16:35
Speaker 1: not happening. And she said, oh, it's very, very very
• 16:40
Speaker 1: low exposure. So that's one of the terms that they'll
• 16:44
Speaker 1: use too, you know, rain you in to get you
• 16:49
Speaker 1: to succumb to their suggestions. Oh, it's just a very
• 16:54
Speaker 1: very low exposure, you'll be fine.
• 17:01
Speaker 3: Like I said, they kept giving estrogen even after the
• 17:06
Speaker 3: government came out and admitted that estrogen caused cancer. And
• 17:11
Speaker 3: you know, it's just not naturally. And when it comes
• 17:14
Speaker 3: to any of this stuff, you just got to think,
• 17:18
Speaker 3: did this belong in the body. If it does, why
• 17:22
Speaker 3: isn't the body making it on its own? We need
• 17:25
Speaker 3: to figure that out.
• 17:27
  Speaker 7: Bill.
• 17:27
Speaker 3: How about you, I'm sure you dealt with lots of
• 17:31
Speaker 3: the emotional stuff with this.
• 17:34
Speaker 7: Yeah. And it's it's a very very frustrating thing for
• 17:38
Speaker 7: these folks because they feel, oh, they feel helpless. They
• 17:43
Speaker 7: feel they don't have any resource, there's nothing, where are
• 17:47
Speaker 7: they supposed to go. The doctors aren't being any help.
• 17:49
Speaker 7: And I think Susan made a really important point about
• 17:56
Speaker 7: medical practice and experimentation. I think he's so many physicians.
• 18:03
Speaker 7: It's just herot what they were taught in school or
• 18:06
Speaker 7: what they've read in in uh medical periodicals. And it's, uh,
• 18:14
Speaker 7: it's very difficult for these folks to feel that they
• 18:17
Speaker 7: have any any options at all. They just is this
• 18:21
Speaker 7: the way it is going to be the rest of
• 18:22
Speaker 7: my life? And uh, well it doesn't have to be,
• 18:26
Speaker 7: but you've got to make some positive direction and and
• 18:30
Speaker 7: find some something that works for you. It's it's it's
• 18:34
Speaker 7: you know, it's really hard. The medical community tells everybody
• 18:37
Speaker 7: they got all the answers to everything, and the numbers
• 18:41
Speaker 7: just don't sup well, the real numbers just don't support that.
• 18:45
Speaker 7: And uh, it's, uh, where do you go? Who do
• 18:49
Speaker 7: you believe? What? What? People just kind of give up
• 18:53
Speaker 7: because they've done everything that they've been brought up believing
• 18:57
Speaker 7: that they should do, and stuff gets worse.
• 19:02
Speaker 1: One of the problems is if you're already in that
• 19:09
Speaker 1: fragile mental and physical state, yes, and you and you
• 19:14
Speaker 1: feel like you're you're not a woman anymore, and you
• 19:21
Speaker 1: feel mentally vulnerable. These folks know this stuff and they
• 19:27
  Speaker 1: prey on it.
• 19:29
Speaker 7: They do. Yes, Yep, I think doc was right. I
• 19:33
Speaker 7: think most most people in a medical profession are there
• 19:40
Speaker 7: because they at least they start out that way, because
• 19:44
Speaker 7: they feel they can help, They can make a difference.
• 19:46
Speaker 7: And yeah, as experience and cynicism sets in, and the
• 19:52
Speaker 7: easy money and and you know, the comfortability of life,
• 19:58
Speaker 7: it kind of all goes to hell. It's it's yeah,
• 20:03
Speaker 7: but I think, you know, I've known a number of
• 20:05
Speaker 7: when I was in school. Certainly I knew a number
• 20:07
Speaker 7: of people of kids who were in medical school, and
• 20:10
Speaker 7: they were there for the best reasons, the best reasons.
• 20:15
Speaker 7: What happens. Money is what happens.
• 20:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, money. And I remember when I was in
• 20:24
Speaker 3: medical school because I was older than a lot of
• 20:26
Speaker 3: the crowd. There was a few my age and even
• 20:29
Speaker 3: a few older, but most of them were young, and
• 20:33
Speaker 3: they were thinking about the Mercedes and playing golf, and
• 20:39
Speaker 3: you know, they had it all figured out. And I
• 20:43
Speaker 3: think you're right. I think a lot of people started
• 20:46
Speaker 3: out with good intentions. It's kind of like politics. They
• 20:51
Speaker 3: got to Washington, it wasn't what they thought, and next
• 20:55
Speaker 3: thing they know they're part of the problem and very sad.
• 21:00
Speaker 3: But a lot of women suffered.
• 21:02
Speaker 7: Yeah, I was thinking about that once again. You mentioned
• 21:06
Speaker 7: somebody I heard the other day and somebody said, well,
• 21:09
Speaker 7: you know, power corrupts, and no power doesn't corrupt. Power's
• 21:14
Speaker 7: an abstraction power simply attracts people who are corruptible. Money,
• 21:20
Speaker 7: it's the same thing. Money and power are basically the
• 21:23
Speaker 7: same thing. But money will attract people who are corruptible.
• 21:27
Speaker 3: Look at Washington, Yeah it, Susie and I were talking
• 21:31
Speaker 3: earlier today. Washington's gotten so bad, and it's so disgusting
• 21:37
Speaker 3: that you've got people like Chuck Schumer that twenty years ago,
• 21:43
Speaker 3: ten years ago, said you know what, you have to
• 21:46
Speaker 3: have an ID card for everything. What's the problem? We
• 21:51
Speaker 3: know that's a scam, And now he's screaming the other way.
• 21:56
Speaker 3: They said the other day, Obama just opened up a
• 21:58
Speaker 3: library in Chicago, and it is one god awful, ugly
• 22:03
Speaker 3: looking place from what I saw, but they said you
• 22:06
Speaker 3: have to have ID card with the photo to get in.
• 22:12
Speaker 3: Here's the guy telling everybody. The Republicans they're bad. They
• 22:16
Speaker 3: want you to have a voter ID. And can you
• 22:18
Speaker 3: imagine the courts. Some judge just stepped in the other
• 22:23
Speaker 3: day and Trump had done an executive order saying you
• 22:27
Speaker 3: have to have a photo ID and prove your American citizen.
• 22:32
Speaker 3: And the judge stepped in and said no, Now, how
• 22:36
Speaker 3: corrupt and crazy and stupid. And yet nobody seems to
• 22:40
Speaker 3: be able to do anything about it. And that's what's
• 22:43
Speaker 3: happened in the medical profession. They know it's wrong. The government,
• 22:48
Speaker 3: the FDA came out and said estrogen causes cancer, and
• 22:54
Speaker 3: what do they do, Well, if they get cancer, we'll
• 22:57
Speaker 3: just give them a hysterectomy and need all them parts anyway,
• 23:02
Speaker 3: And Susy, you hit on a really key thing. When
• 23:05
Speaker 3: I would meet these people. First off, the relationship was
• 23:09
Speaker 3: struggling because the woman doesn't understand why she's got emotional
• 23:14
Speaker 3: mood swings and hot and cold, and then things like
• 23:18
Speaker 3: the vaginal dryness. Does it make for a very intimate,
• 23:24
Speaker 3: loving relationship when you feel so horrible and you don't
• 23:28
Speaker 3: feel like the woman that you once were. And then,
• 23:31
Speaker 3: like Bill said, they're thinking, I'm like this the rest
• 23:34
Speaker 3: of my life. And I was blessed. A lot of
• 23:37
Speaker 3: them made their way to me and we made a
• 23:40
Speaker 3: lot of difference, and I'm very grateful for that. And
• 23:44
Speaker 3: like I said, you cannot take something and say this
• 23:47
Speaker 3: will take care of it. You can't do that because
• 23:51
Speaker 3: everybody's got that stupid thing. This is not meant to treat, diagnose,
• 23:56
Speaker 3: care for, cure, nothing. And the FDA that's the key thing.
• 24:02
Speaker 3: The FDA has not verified this, I think that's how
• 24:06
Speaker 3: they worded, or the FDA has not looked to let
• 24:09
Speaker 3: me see here. Yeah, these statements have not been evaluated
• 24:13
Speaker 3: by the Food and Drug Administration. These are the people
• 24:17
Speaker 3: that let them get estrogen. These are the people that
• 24:22
Speaker 3: are the early nineteenth century when doctor Whytet and those
• 24:31
Speaker 3: guys were out there trying to help us get our
• 24:34
Speaker 3: food healthy. They were the ones that were putting bad
• 24:37
Speaker 3: stuff in and they're saying it was okay right now,
• 24:43
Speaker 3: just emin ms. I think the other day said that
• 24:48
Speaker 3: they were going to have to drop two flavors of
• 24:51
Speaker 3: M and ms because Robert Kennedy Junior's coming after the chemicals.
• 24:58
Speaker 3: So they know, oh that at least two emin M
• 25:02
Speaker 3: flavors are toxic, terrible and bad, and yet they sell
• 25:07
Speaker 3: them all day long, sad and usually it's the kids
• 25:13
Speaker 3: that don't know any different, and the parents don't know,
• 25:16
Speaker 3: so they let them have the M and ms. All right, guys,
• 25:20
Speaker 3: anything else on that.
• 25:25
Speaker 1: Will? You know, it's a sensitive subject and I just
• 25:31
Speaker 1: hope that that women that are listening, because I've been there,
• 25:35
Speaker 1: I've done it, and.
• 25:39
Speaker 10: You know everything that you suggested for me helped, and
• 25:43
Speaker 10: I just my prayers that any woman going through any
• 25:47
Speaker 10: of this stuff would would reach out to you.
• 25:51
Speaker 7: Bill, Yeah, are you? I think part of the part
• 25:57
Speaker 7: of the problem is is the apparent in availability unavailability
• 26:06
Speaker 7: of resources. I think folks don't understand that there are
• 26:10
Speaker 7: viable options out there. You know, the media and the
• 26:17
Speaker 7: pharmacundustry do everything to squash that. I think I dropped
• 26:23
Speaker 7: you a line the other day. I saw something on
• 26:25
Speaker 7: the internet that they have now decided that glucosamine is
• 26:28
Speaker 7: dangerous and shouldn't be taken and if you have any
• 26:31
Speaker 7: throw it out. And this is all by this this
• 26:35
Speaker 7: is all paid for by by big farm yep. And
• 26:39
Speaker 7: it's just you know, So, so where do we go?
• 26:43
Speaker 7: I mean, if we don't have access to folks like
• 26:46
Speaker 7: you or or you know, nutritionists that understand these kinds
• 26:51
Speaker 7: of issues. How many people know that there are nutritionists
• 26:55
Speaker 7: out there who deal with this.
• 26:58
Speaker 3: Well, yeah, and it's good that you brought that up
• 27:00
Speaker 3: because a lot of nutritionists and dietitians are pharmaceutically trained.
• 27:06
  Speaker 7: Yeah.
• 27:06
Speaker 3: Sure, So they're pushing a scorbic acid, they're pushing to cofferolls,
• 27:13
  Speaker 3: they're pushing keratine and vitamin A. They're doing a lot
• 27:18
Speaker 3: of things because that's what they were taught, and they
• 27:20
Speaker 3: think they're doing the right thing. I was blessed. I
• 27:24
Speaker 3: don't know how I got steered in the direction, but
• 27:28
Speaker 3: things fell in place, and I was like a sponge.
• 27:33
Speaker 3: I just like Susie's been learning all this producing stuff.
• 27:39
Speaker 3: I was like a sponge and I knew so many
• 27:42
Speaker 3: people with so many problems, and lucky for me, people
• 27:46
Speaker 3: would come to me and say so and so said
• 27:50
Speaker 3: you help them. I remember this one sweet lady, she
• 27:55
Speaker 3: was probably late seventies, early eighties, came in because one
• 28:01
Speaker 3: of my patients, who was also a good friend, had
• 28:06
Speaker 3: plantar fasci itis. So this was a big man and
• 28:09
Speaker 3: his feet were killing him. He'd paid four hundred dollars,
• 28:13
Speaker 3: this was twenty years ago, four hundred dollars for these
• 28:17
Speaker 3: boots from the orthopedic guys, and it did nothing. And
• 28:23
Speaker 3: he came in to me and I explained to him
• 28:25
Speaker 3: what it was, and we treated it nutritionally. We treated
• 28:29
Speaker 3: it by getting in there and breaking up the fascia.
• 28:32
Speaker 3: We adjusted the ankles and feet, which was the original cause.
• 28:36
Speaker 3: And she came in and she said, I'm here because
• 28:42
Speaker 3: his name was John. John said you cured him of that,
• 28:47
Speaker 3: And she said the key thing is he said you
• 28:51
Speaker 3: cured it, he don't have it no more. And I said, yeah,
• 28:57
Speaker 3: I'll explain it to you. It's pretty basic. But I
• 29:00
Speaker 3: was blessed because a lot of people told people and
• 29:06
Speaker 3: came to me. In the very early days, I wasted
• 29:10
Speaker 3: some money on advertising, which was absolutely stupid. I figured
• 29:17
Speaker 3: out very quick, and word of mouth was cold. Because
• 29:21
Speaker 3: if somebody's coming to you because somebody they trust has
• 29:25
Speaker 3: gotten better, that's great. Now, we had one man who
• 29:30
Speaker 3: read that stuff about and I'll real reread it so
• 29:34
Speaker 3: people understand where I'm coming from. But it says these
• 29:40
Speaker 3: statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
• 29:44
Speaker 3: This product is not intended to diagnose, street cure prevent
• 29:49
Speaker 3: any disease. So he read that and brought all of
• 29:53
Speaker 3: his supplements back because the FDA had not approved what
• 29:58
Speaker 3: we were doing for him. And I tried to tell
• 30:02
Speaker 3: him that, first off, you don't want it just because
• 30:05
Speaker 3: of the FDA. They approve a lot of really bad drugs.
• 30:09
Speaker 3: I said, Second, they don't study what I study on
• 30:13
Speaker 3: the nutritional side. In the pharmaceutical world, and I said,
• 30:18
Speaker 3: and you're in a rare case where it happened to
• 30:20
Speaker 3: be my passion and my postgraduate work, so not many
• 30:24
Speaker 3: people do that. And I said, also, we've had a
• 30:28
Speaker 3: lot of great success and we're very particular about what
• 30:32
Speaker 3: products we use. Well, he still wanted his money back
• 30:35
Speaker 3: because the FDA had not approved it, and good riddance.
• 30:39
Speaker 3: I didn't need to see guys like that ever again. Right, So,
• 30:45
Speaker 3: but it is sad, and you know, it is so
• 30:49
Speaker 3: cool to have a couple come to you who have
• 30:52
Speaker 3: lost the intimacy in their life, but they're not ready
• 30:56
Speaker 3: to give that up yet, and you're able to help.
• 31:01
Speaker 3: I had some young couples come that wanted to get
• 31:05
Speaker 3: pregnant and they had done everything the other side of
• 31:08
Speaker 3: the coin had told them and nothing worked. And then
• 31:13
Speaker 3: they came to me because somebody told them he does that,
• 31:17
Speaker 3: and they got pregnant and they sent me pictures and
• 31:21
Speaker 3: that was That's so cool. I mean, you know, I
• 31:26
Speaker 3: used to always say it was not me. I'm just
• 31:29
Speaker 3: a tool of God and he's bringing you this way
• 31:33
Speaker 3: and we're helping you together. So a lot of fun,
• 31:37
Speaker 3: very rewarding. The politics, the insurance companies, the rules, the regulations,
• 31:44
Speaker 3: all that crazy stuff makes you almost not want to
• 31:48
Speaker 3: do it some days, And then you have one case
• 31:51
Speaker 3: where they're doing so much better and they're so grateful
• 31:56
Speaker 3: and they tell everybody it's wonderful, So that makes up
• 31:59
  Speaker 3: for it.
• 32:00
  Speaker 7: All.
• 32:00
Speaker 3: Right, Well, we're at break time, guys, anything SUSI before
• 32:03
Speaker 3: we go to break?
• 32:04
  Speaker 1: Yep?
• 32:05
Speaker 7: Bill, Yeah, but no the wait, Oh.
• 32:10
Speaker 3: You go ahead and go. We're controlling the time pretty good.
• 32:13
Speaker 7: Well. One of the things that is really I've been
• 32:18
Speaker 7: thinking a lot about is lately, is that a lot
• 32:21
Speaker 7: of people in professions, and particularly I'm seeing him regarding teachers,
• 32:26
Speaker 7: just parrot what they were taught. They don't realize that
• 32:31
Speaker 7: part of succeeding in a profession is to think, to
• 32:36
Speaker 7: pay attention to what you're doing, to look at your experience,
• 32:40
Speaker 7: and to use your head. Sometimes that disagrees with what
• 32:44
Speaker 7: you were taught, but that's the way it's supposed to be.
• 32:47
Speaker 7: Your experience often will disagree with what was taught to
• 32:51
Speaker 7: you twenty thirty years or I should hope it would.
• 32:55
Speaker 7: But the emphasis on just day after day doing the
• 33:01
Speaker 7: same old stuff, reading journals that are put up by
• 33:04
Speaker 7: the same people or do the same old stuff. It's
• 33:08
Speaker 7: no wonder if medicine's where it is.
• 33:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, you're very accurate. Hey, ladies and gentlemen.
• 33:16
  Speaker 1: Uh.
• 33:17
Speaker 3: Susie and Hunley, they're they're kind of the odd couple,
• 33:21
Speaker 3: you might say. They they've been together forever and they've
• 33:25
Speaker 3: not had divorces in their life before they got together,
• 33:30
Speaker 3: like most people in this unforsaken world. That the way
• 33:34
Speaker 3: it has become. But we got a little treat tonight.
• 33:38
Speaker 3: They went out for a anniversary. See when was the anniversary, Susie,
• 33:47
  Speaker 3: Monday or Tuesday?
• 33:49
  Speaker 1: Yesterday?
• 33:50
Speaker 3: Okay, Tuesday, And we just happened to catch them at
• 33:54
Speaker 3: the restaurants sing into each other. So we've got a
• 33:59
Speaker 3: couple of clips. Say you're gonna hear them singing to
• 34:01
Speaker 3: each other, and it's downright disgusting that they've never shared
• 34:05
Speaker 3: the wonderful passage of divorce and screaming and hollering and
• 34:10
Speaker 3: lawyers and courts. And we're pretty proud of them that
• 34:13
Speaker 3: they've been together all this time. But like I told
• 34:16
Speaker 3: Susie Hunley, you know she owes him big time because
• 34:23
Speaker 3: he's stuck through their thick and thin, and Susie could
• 34:27
Speaker 3: be just a little hard headed, but she also carries
• 34:30
Speaker 3: a gun, so he didn't really want to chance it.
• 34:34
Speaker 3: All right, guys, this is doctor Kruper's Natural Hot Hours.

• 36:43
  Speaker 5: once more.
• 36:45
Speaker 3: I chose you for the one.
• 36:48
Speaker 6: Now I'm having so much fun that you've treated me
• 36:52
Speaker 6: so kind, I'm about to.
• 36:54
  Speaker 8: Lose my mind.
• 36:55
Speaker 5: You made me so.
• 36:59
Speaker 3: Very happy. I'm so glad.
• 37:02
Speaker 11: You came into my life.
• 37:11
Speaker 5: The others will untrue.
• 37:16
Speaker 7: But when we came to loving you, I in my
• 37:23
  Speaker 7: whole life.
• 37:24
Speaker 6: With you, because it came and you took control. You've
• 37:29
Speaker 6: touched my very soul. You always showed me that loving
• 37:34
Speaker 6: you is where it's that. You made me so very happy.
• 37:42
Speaker 6: I'm so glad you.
• 37:44
Speaker 11: Came into my life.
• 37:59
Speaker 3: All right, we are back. And you know that was
• 38:01
Speaker 3: Hunley singing and he said a key thing in there,
• 38:05
Speaker 3: you know, Susie, He said, she took control. That's all
• 38:09
Speaker 3: I could tell you. But they had a nice dinner too.
• 38:11
Speaker 3: But Hunley singing to her at dinner and that was
• 38:14
Speaker 3: kind of cool. You guys got to like that, and
• 38:16
Speaker 3: that's why they've been married. I don't know, fifty sixty years.
• 38:20
  Speaker 7: I don't know.
• 38:22
Speaker 3: Anyway, we are back. Welcome back to doctor Grouper's Natural
• 38:26
Speaker 3: Health Hours. Susie, how often has he serenaded you like that?
• 38:34
  Speaker 1: Every now?
• 38:35
  Speaker 7: Man?
• 38:35
Speaker 1: Usually it's like seventy seventies rock But no, I didn't
• 38:42
Speaker 1: get married when I was nine years old.
• 38:47
Speaker 3: Yeah, you just keep telling people those numbers. You keep
• 38:51
Speaker 3: saying them long enough somebody might believe them. We are back,
• 38:56
Speaker 3: and normally we do a little bit of onliners. But
• 39:01
Speaker 3: we were started reading a thing on my family tree
• 39:06
Speaker 3: from my great great great aunt Bessie and Buchanan, And
• 39:11
Speaker 3: evidently she was born in like eighteen ninety two and
• 39:16
Speaker 3: wrote this in the nineteen thirties. So Bill and Susy
• 39:20
Speaker 3: thought it was pretty cool. So we're going to continue.
• 39:23
Speaker 3: So last week we had just talked about they had
• 39:28
Speaker 3: the Civil War had just ended, and the Yankee Army
• 39:33
Speaker 3: was not that nice to these people in the south
• 39:38
Speaker 3: of Missouri, that most of them were not far the north,
• 39:44
Speaker 3: and so it was not a really good thing. But anyway,
• 39:48
Speaker 3: she was talking and she said, no, doubt Lessanders's daughter
• 39:53
Speaker 3: came to these festivities. They were talking about if you
• 39:58
Speaker 3: have a barn raising or house raising or anything big deal,
• 40:03
Speaker 3: all the people for six eight miles around will come.
• 40:07
Speaker 3: And she said, at Grandfather's the people came from a
• 40:13
Speaker 3: radius of six eight miles and if for no other
• 40:16
Speaker 3: reason then to get acquainted with each other. In the
• 40:20
Speaker 3: year eighteen sixty six, Less Sanders had come to Missouri
• 40:24
Speaker 3: from Illinois and he had purchased land in Reynolds County
• 40:28
Speaker 3: on what is now called Webb's Creek. His farm lay
• 40:32
Speaker 3: near the county road, and one day Grandfather was passing
• 40:37
Speaker 3: along this road and he saw the two of Lesa's
• 40:40
Speaker 3: daughters hoeing corn, and knowing they like to dance, he
• 40:44
Speaker 3: started whistling, and he whistled a lively violin tune. And
• 40:50
Speaker 3: Grandfather's family seemed to have an innate talent for music.
• 40:55
Speaker 3: They could play tunes by ear, and they developed their
• 40:59
Speaker 3: voices for singing in harmony, and as far as I know,
• 41:03
Speaker 3: no one ever had a formal music lesson in life.
• 41:07
Speaker 3: There was a large flour mill run by a water
• 41:10
Speaker 3: power on Logan Creek. A man named Carter owned and
• 41:14
Speaker 3: operated it. Even people from surrounding counties came there to
• 41:19
Speaker 3: have their weak ground into flour and their corn ground
• 41:23
Speaker 3: in the meal. This mill was in operation long before
• 41:29
Speaker 3: the start of the Civil War, and it continued in
• 41:33
Speaker 3: operation until nineteen thirty. It had been said that the
• 41:38
Speaker 3: large water wheel was sold for exhibit at the World's Fair,
• 41:42
Speaker 3: and that it went on record as being the largest
• 41:45
Speaker 3: water wheel in Rentols and surrounding counties. Many stories can
• 41:50
Speaker 3: be told of the people who took their grain there
• 41:53
Speaker 3: to be ground. While they were waiting, they swapped yarns,
• 41:58
Speaker 3: fished a deep ci stream, and even stayed overnight. In
• 42:03
Speaker 3: working with tobacco, grandfather's sons learned without his knowledge, to
• 42:10
Speaker 3: chew tobacco and became experts at squirting the juice. On
• 42:15
Speaker 3: one occasion, he had made a trip to Carter's mill
• 42:20
Speaker 3: and took Pad along for company. Pad had either forgotten
• 42:24
Speaker 3: to take along a chew or else was afraid his
• 42:27
Speaker 3: father would catch him with it. Anyway, as they drove along,
• 42:32
Speaker 3: he yearned for a chee. When they reached the neighbor's house,
• 42:36
Speaker 3: grandfather stopped to discuss some business and found that the
• 42:39
Speaker 3: children there had the mumps. Since Pad had not had these,
• 42:43
Speaker 3: he was told to sit in the wagon and hold
• 42:47
Speaker 3: a small piece of tobacco under his nose to ward
• 42:50
Speaker 3: off the mumps. No sooner than grandfather turned back, Pad
• 42:55
Speaker 3: had popped the tobacco in his mouth and was chewing
• 42:58
Speaker 3: it retur and Grandfather asked Pad, what did you do
• 43:03
Speaker 3: with that tobacco? Pad answered, it made me sick to
• 43:07
Speaker 3: smell it, and I threw it away. Grandpa knew better.
• 43:11
Speaker 3: Finally Pad confessed that he was a tobacco shoe, where
• 43:14
Speaker 3: Grandpa told him that he did not care and scolded
• 43:18
Speaker 3: him for keeping it a secret that sometime he might
• 43:21
Speaker 3: want to borrow a chew when he was not out
• 43:25
Speaker 3: with himself. As time passed, it seemed that grandfather worried
• 43:29
Speaker 3: harder than ever, in spite of having all his growing
• 43:33
Speaker 3: sons to help him. One spring, they were all burning
• 43:36
Speaker 3: brush near the fence and went into the house to
• 43:39
Speaker 3: eat dinner, thinking the fire was safe. When they came
• 43:42
Speaker 3: back to the field, the fire had spread out and
• 43:45
Speaker 3: burned half a mile of his rail fence. He had
• 43:49
Speaker 3: to hire a man to make and replace the rails
• 43:52
Speaker 3: while he made the crop. In spite of hard work
• 43:56
Speaker 3: in the fields, the older boys found time to have fun.
• 44:00
Speaker 3: They selected good material and on the sly made beautiful
• 44:04
Speaker 3: bows and arrows. Grandfather's old mare received a puncture in
• 44:09
Speaker 3: the ribs, chased through the brush until arrow fell out.
• 44:14
Speaker 3: One of grandmother's hands, met a sudden death and was
• 44:18
Speaker 3: thrown into weeds. To conceal her demise, the weapons were
• 44:22
Speaker 3: kept hidden under the corn crib. One day the boys
• 44:26
  Speaker 3: were working.
• 44:30
  Speaker 5: There.
• 44:31
Speaker 3: They go there. The boys were working in the fields
• 44:34
Speaker 3: and Charlie, the youngest of the boys old enough to work,
• 44:38
Speaker 3: wanted to do his little target practicing by himself. He
• 44:42
Speaker 3: complained of being sick and was excused from work. Grandfather,
• 44:46
Speaker 3: suspecting something, followed him. Instead of going directly to the house,
• 44:50
Speaker 3: Charlie went to the corn crib, took out the bows
• 44:53
Speaker 3: and arrows, and was stilligedly practicing his aim when grandfather
• 44:59
Speaker 3: let his presence be known. Back in the field went Charlie,
• 45:03
Speaker 3: a very sick boy, in more waste than one. The
• 45:06
Speaker 3: bows and arrows were broken, his backside was sore, and
• 45:11
Speaker 3: spirits were bruised from the tongue lashing of his brothers
• 45:15
Speaker 3: for letting their father discover their secret. Uters Jack and
• 45:20
Speaker 3: James were born on this farm. By this time, the
• 45:24
Speaker 3: valley where they lived was designated as Buchanan Valley. When
• 45:29
Speaker 3: James was about the age of two in eighteen seventy eight,
• 45:35
Speaker 3: grandfather prepared his grain to take to Carter's mills. Started
• 45:39
Speaker 3: out on the trip alone. He had not gone far
• 45:43
Speaker 3: when he started chilling, so he came back home and
• 45:47
Speaker 3: went to bed. Doctor Rock was summoned. He was quite
• 45:51
Speaker 3: puzzled about the illness, and just as grandfather was dying,
• 45:56
Speaker 3: the doctor decided it was pneumonia that was a rare
• 46:00
Speaker 3: thing to have. In August, the family sent Frank Brahms
• 46:03
Speaker 3: to help them in the crisis. He brought his son
• 46:06
Speaker 3: Tom with him. Just as they were entering the gate,
• 46:10
Speaker 3: John Alexander ran out to them. He said, Cousin Tom,
• 46:14
Speaker 3: Papa's dead. If nothing else would do him but die,
• 46:18
Speaker 3: let him die and be damned. Tom later said that
• 46:23
Speaker 3: in spite of the sad occasion, he could not keep
• 46:26
Speaker 3: from laughing. Those who knew John thought nothing of his
• 46:29
Speaker 3: sayings and actions. Grandfather had buried his first wife in
• 46:34
Speaker 3: his emery Carter Cemetery on the river three miles below
• 46:38
Speaker 3: Van Buren. At grandmother's request, they buried grandfather beside her
• 46:43
Speaker 3: in that cemetery. All right, guys, still interesting.
• 46:48
  Speaker 1: That's a cool little history.
• 46:51
Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, we'll go on a little bit more.
• 46:54
  Speaker 3: Here's one's got a few minutes left. With a large
• 46:59
Speaker 3: family of lively boys, four of them grown, and three daughters,
• 47:05
Speaker 3: grandmother had quite a task on her hands. Things were
• 47:09
Speaker 3: quite different after he was gone, especially business dealings. Four
• 47:13
Speaker 3: years later, the one hundred and twenty acres they had
• 47:16
Speaker 3: in Reynolds County sold for taxes. This meant that two
• 47:20
Speaker 3: thirds of her land was gone. The Missouri Lumber and
• 47:25
Speaker 3: Mining Company had bought the land because they wanted a
• 47:27
Speaker 3: vast amount of virgin pine timber, which they had never
• 47:32
Speaker 3: been touched. A man by the name of James McGee
• 47:35
Speaker 3: was working for this company as a contract negotiator far
• 47:40
Speaker 3: right of way to build them roads. When he found
• 47:44
Speaker 3: out that grandmother was a widow with a large family
• 47:47
Speaker 3: and knew nothing about Texas, he persuaded the company to
• 47:51
Speaker 3: deed the land back to grandmother and keep the timber rights.
• 47:55
Speaker 3: The timber was a great loss to the family, but
• 47:59
Speaker 3: they were thankful to have the land back in their position. Thereafter,
• 48:04
Speaker 3: they were careful to pay their taxes each year. In
• 48:07
Speaker 3: nineteen oh four, the Missouri Lumber and Mining Company decided
• 48:11
Speaker 3: to work up all the pine Timber and Carter County
• 48:15
Speaker 3: tram roads and railroads were built to reach grand In, Missouri,
• 48:20
Speaker 3: where their huge mill was located. Jack received a contract
• 48:26
Speaker 3: from the company and for sawing all the pine on
• 48:29
Speaker 3: Grandma's farm. With the helper, they saw down all the
• 48:33
Speaker 3: pine trees while others hauled the logs by team and
• 48:36
Speaker 3: wagon to the tram roads. There they were put on
• 48:42
Speaker 3: the flaps and taken the grand in by railroads. Soon
• 48:45
Speaker 3: all the virgin pine was gone. Only slender pine saplings remain.
• 48:52
Speaker 3: Oak trees have replaced the pine. Grandmother's declining years were
• 48:57
Speaker 3: spent on the farm until nineteen oh seven, the last
• 49:00
Speaker 3: crop was made by Jack. They persuaded her to rent
• 49:05
Speaker 3: the farms last for a period of three years to
• 49:08
Speaker 3: Bill Hill, that was my grandfather's name. Hill, Francis's husband, Charlie,
• 49:15
Speaker 3: Jack and Jim had bought a new mill, placed it
• 49:18
Speaker 3: in the pat Spring Hollow and operated it for one year,
• 49:22
Speaker 3: so she was willing to move in the James P.
• 49:25
Speaker 3: Brehm House near this sawmill. After Jack and Jim were married,
• 49:31
Speaker 3: Grandmother and Dora moved to Farmington, where they lived for
• 49:35
Speaker 3: a short time. Eventually she loved back to her old
• 49:40
Speaker 3: home and lived in one room of the house. Finally,
• 49:45
Speaker 3: Charlie moved her to his home. She died November eleventh,
• 49:49
Speaker 3: nineteen eleven, and she was buried in the Brahm Cemetery
• 49:53
Speaker 3: on Highway sixty. Her mother, Jesse, Tom, Charlie, and George
• 49:57
Speaker 3: are also buried there. John, Alexander, and Lorenda are buried
• 50:03
Speaker 3: at Farmington, Missouri, Pad at Yacht Memorial Cemetery on Highway
• 50:08
Speaker 3: thirty four in Reynolds County, Francis at James at Van
• 50:12
Speaker 3: Buren Cemetery, your Dora at Mountain View, Missouri, and Mary
• 50:17
Speaker 3: Buchanan reeves at Graham Cemetery at Brushy Creek. Then she
• 50:24
Speaker 3: goes through and list everybody's name, when they were born,
• 50:32
Speaker 3: if they're still living or if they died, who they married,
• 50:35
Speaker 3: how many kids they had for years. I mean, it
• 50:40
Speaker 3: starts out at let's see here, eighteen fifty nine, and
• 50:49
Speaker 3: that's when she started with people's births, and then like
• 50:53
Speaker 3: my grandparents trying to think I think it was early
• 50:59
Speaker 3: nine teen hundreds that they were born. Let's see here. Yeah,
• 51:07
Speaker 3: my grandfather, Marvin Hill, was born in January fifth, nineteen
• 51:11
Speaker 3: oh seven, and he married Darthy Alma Green my grandmother,
• 51:15
Speaker 3: and she always went by Alma, and she was born
• 51:19
Speaker 3: on December twelfth, nineteen oh nine, and they had three kids.
• 51:24
Speaker 3: I have an aunt and uncle. Both of them were gone.
• 51:27
Speaker 3: And let's see here are we born, you guys? Or
• 51:31
Speaker 3: should we go a little more?
• 51:33
  Speaker 7: Nods?
• 51:34
  Speaker 1: Cool?
• 51:34
Speaker 3: I love it all right, Well, here's now she's talking
• 51:37
Speaker 3: about some things that were common back then. A bill
• 51:41
Speaker 3: of sales showing what one farmer sold at auction at
• 51:44
Speaker 3: eighteen forty nine, published in Kentucky while Negroes were still slaves.
• 51:50
Speaker 3: It follows, having sold my farm and leaving for Oregon
• 51:55
Speaker 3: Territory by Ox Team, will offer on March first, eighteen
• 51:58
Speaker 3: forty nine, all my personal property all OX Team except
• 52:04
Speaker 3: two teams bucking Ben and Tom and Jerry. Two milk cows,
• 52:09
Speaker 3: one gray mare colt, two Ox carts, one iron plow
• 52:14
Speaker 3: with wood mole board, eight hundred feet of poplar weather board,
• 52:19
Speaker 3: thousand three foot clapboards, fifteen hundred feet fence rails, one
• 52:26
Speaker 3: sixty gallons soap kettle, eighty five sugar troughs made of
• 52:32
Speaker 3: white ash timber, ten gallons of maple syrup, two spinning wheels,
• 52:37
Speaker 3: thirty pounds of mutton tallow, twenty pounds of beef tallow,
• 52:43
Speaker 3: one large broom. That's what you need, Susy to clean
• 52:47
Speaker 3: up in the kitchen after I cook. One large broom
• 52:52
Speaker 3: made by Jerry Wilson. Three hundred poles, one hundred split hoops,
• 52:58
Speaker 3: one hundred empty barrel, one thirty two gallon barrel of
• 53:02
Speaker 3: Johnson Miller whiskey. Now I like that seven years old.
• 53:06
Speaker 3: Twenty gallons of apple brandy, farty gallons of copper still,
• 53:13
Speaker 3: four sides of oak tanned leather, one dozen real hooks,
• 53:18
Speaker 3: two handle hooks, seven thirty two caliber rifles, molds and
• 53:24
Speaker 3: powder horn rifle made by Ben Miller. Fifty gallons of
• 53:29
Speaker 3: soft soap, hams, bacon lard, four gallons of sorghum molasses,
• 53:35
Speaker 3: six heads of hounds. I don't even know what that is,
• 53:39
Speaker 3: all soft mouthed except one. At the same time, I
• 53:43
Speaker 3: will sell my six Negro slaves, so they add slaves
• 53:47
Speaker 3: back then. Two men thirty five and fifty years old,
• 53:51
Speaker 3: two boys twelve and eighteen two Mulatto wenches, I don't
• 53:56
Speaker 3: know what that is, Farty and thirty five. Will sell
• 54:01
Speaker 3: all together to same party as will not separate them.
• 54:06
Speaker 3: Terms of sale cash in hand, not to draw four
• 54:09
Speaker 3: percent interest, with Bob McConnell as security. My home is
• 54:14
Speaker 3: on Macon's Ferry Pike. Sale will begin at eight o'clock
• 54:18
Speaker 3: in the morning. Plenty to eat and drink and now
• 54:22
Speaker 3: here this is where you would have come in susy
• 54:24
Speaker 3: and fit right in Grandma's recipes. The ingredients were found
• 54:30
Speaker 3: on the farm. Some of the neighbors use what was
• 54:33
Speaker 3: called lye barrel, but grandmother used an ash hopper. It
• 54:41
Speaker 3: was made as follows. A small room the size of
• 54:45
Speaker 3: about six by eight feet was floored and boxed on
• 54:48
Speaker 3: all four sides with lumber and then roofed. A hole
• 54:53
Speaker 3: was cut on one side to make room for a
• 54:56
Speaker 3: small gutter. A hole was dug in the ground large
• 55:00
Speaker 3: enough to hold one or two gallon jar. The gutter
• 55:04
Speaker 3: ran from the hopper to the jar to hold the
• 55:08
Speaker 3: lye wood. Ash were carried daily from the open fireplace
• 55:13
Speaker 3: and put into the hopper. When the hopper was overflowing
• 55:17
Speaker 3: with the ashes, the process of making the lye begin.
• 55:21
Speaker 3: This was done by pouring water on the ashes each
• 55:25
Speaker 3: day until the liquid began to run into the gutter
• 55:30
Speaker 3: and empty into the jar. As the jar filled, the
• 55:34
Speaker 3: contents were poured into a larger vessel. These vessels were
• 55:39
Speaker 3: made of stone. Water continued to be poured into the
• 55:43
Speaker 3: ashes until all the lie's strength was out. This was
• 55:48
Speaker 3: done early spring. That sounded like a lot of work
• 55:51
Speaker 3: making soap. Making soap was done on the light of
• 55:56
Speaker 3: the moon. Soap would not make any other time. Fats
• 56:02
Speaker 3: of all kinds had been saved for this purpose. The
• 56:06
Speaker 3: lie was put in a large kettle outside the house,
• 56:09
Speaker 3: and the fat was added to it with a small
• 56:12
Speaker 3: amount of water. A fire was started under the kettle.
• 56:15
Speaker 3: The cooking and the boiling continued until the mixture was thick.
• 56:20
Speaker 3: If its skinned a feather, when tested in a small
• 56:25
Speaker 3: amount poured in a saucer, it was pronounced soap. Then
• 56:33
Speaker 3: it was poured, while warm, into a barrel and kept
• 56:35
Speaker 3: for that purpose. This process was continued until the barrel
• 56:40
Speaker 3: was about full, while the soap never hardened, but stayed
• 56:44
Speaker 3: liquid and dark in color. A full barrel was her
• 56:48
Speaker 3: year's supply of soap.
• 56:50
  Speaker 7: Wow.
• 56:52
Speaker 3: All right, well, I guess we could stop there. It
• 56:54
Speaker 3: goes in the wooden barrels. Will continue with that next week.
• 56:58
Speaker 3: Anything on that, guys kind of interesting?
• 57:02
Speaker 1: Well, I think I was born in the wrong century.
• 57:06
  Speaker 7: I agree.
• 57:08
Speaker 1: One of the things I want to start doing is
• 57:10
Speaker 1: making soap. So I've got a friend who's been teaching me,
• 57:17
Speaker 1: you know, some of this stuff. But anyone who's listened
• 57:23
Speaker 1: for a while knows that I've been doing plenty of
• 57:27
Speaker 1: complaining about grocery prices. And I just got tired of
• 57:32
Speaker 1: paying for laundry detergent and I said, no more. I'm
• 57:36
Speaker 1: just not doing it anymore. And so I found a
• 57:40
Speaker 1: recipe online using war Ax Castile soap. Castile soap. You
• 57:50
Speaker 1: can add essential rules if you won't, I didn't, and
• 57:56
Speaker 1: baking not baking, the opposite of that, watching sodas and
• 58:02
Speaker 1: so it's just like twenty Mule team Borax.
• 58:09
Speaker 3: That's cool, yeah, right in.
• 58:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, and wait a minute, you got to hear this.
• 58:16
Speaker 1: It costs me five dollars to make five gallons of
• 58:20
  Speaker 1: laundry detergent.
• 58:22
Speaker 3: Wow, that is amazing.
• 58:26
  Speaker 7: Bill.
• 58:27
Speaker 3: When should we schedule her to come over to our houses?
• 58:32
Speaker 7: I'd have to clean the house for our signs, I
• 58:34
  Speaker 7: can't say how.
• 58:38
Speaker 3: All right, Well, we're going to go to break ladies
• 58:41
Speaker 3: and gentlemen, and when we come back we'll have a
• 58:44
Speaker 3: go right to Bill's weekly topic. And coming back, we
• 58:50
Speaker 3: have another song that we heard Susy and Hunley singing
• 58:58
Speaker 3: at their anniversary dinner, so we'll play that for you
• 59:01
Speaker 3: when we come back. All right, well, this is doctor

• 1:03:01
Speaker 3: What what a nice way to serenade his wife at dinner.

Speaker 3: We only had two of those after that, Susy hid
• 1:03:10
Speaker 3: the mic. But cool, we are back. This is doctor

• 1:04:07
Speaker 3: he told her that it was how's his trophy wife doing?
• 1:04:12
Speaker 3: But she kind of got confused when he was measuring
• 1:04:15
Speaker 3: above the mantle where they put deer heads. A little
• 1:04:18
Speaker 3: doggess on that one. All right, Bill, take it away,

• 1:04:42
Speaker 7: do we how do we deal with with a after
• 1:04:45
Speaker 7: surgery stuff? And you were talking particularly about heart attacks
• 1:04:48
Speaker 7: and and strokes and saying such things. But I got
• 1:04:53
Speaker 7: to thinking a little bit about that. But I kind
• 1:04:55
Speaker 7: of want to backtrack a little bit before pick up
• 1:04:58
Speaker 7: after that, but you were essentially talking about how how
• 1:05:04
Speaker 7: we emotionally respond to uh, physical trauma, to injury, to
• 1:05:11
Speaker 7: having been having been hurt. And you know, it's I
• 1:05:17
Speaker 7: think it's again important as we as we kind of
• 1:05:22
Speaker 7: watch our health and watch others deal with events in
• 1:05:27
Speaker 7: their lives, if we we have some some vocabulary to
• 1:05:34
Speaker 7: kind of keep a perspective on things. And said, trying
• 1:05:38
Speaker 7: to h kind of back out of the specifics for
• 1:05:43
Speaker 7: just a moment to put put a little bit different
• 1:05:48
Speaker 7: take on on that jar. Our first first response to
• 1:05:53
Speaker 7: responses to being hurt, we're we're afraid, We're we're in shock,
• 1:06:00
Speaker 7: and we become angry now, and denial certainly plays a
• 1:06:06
Speaker 7: part of that, depending upon on the extent of the injury.
• 1:06:09
Speaker 7: And he doesn't have to be a severe injury. I mean,
• 1:06:13
Speaker 7: we can talking about a kitchen accident with a knife
• 1:06:16
Speaker 7: or broken glass, or all the way up through automobile
• 1:06:21
Speaker 7: accidents and hard anything that has to do with physical harm.
• 1:06:26
Speaker 7: And thinking a little bit about that, I realize that
• 1:06:31
Speaker 7: there really kinds two kinds of physical trauma. There's what
• 1:06:37
Speaker 7: I call the unexpected physical trauma, which are the accidents
• 1:06:42
Speaker 7: where we're hurt at work or an automobile or illness,
• 1:06:48
Speaker 7: So illness can certainly contribute to the same sort of
• 1:06:54
Speaker 7: emotional responses. Again understanding that that what we're really talking
• 1:07:01
Speaker 7: about is harm to our bodies, harm to ourselfs, and
• 1:07:07
Speaker 7: I think that's the overriding definitive you're The second second
• 1:07:13
Speaker 7: part to unexpected physical trauma is expected physical trauma, And
• 1:07:19
Speaker 7: by that I mean the kind of trauma that is
• 1:07:26
Speaker 7: that derives from the result of the unexpected Bush means
• 1:07:29
Speaker 7: we go to a hospital, we go to somebody who
• 1:07:34
Speaker 7: can kind of patch us up. That also has the
• 1:07:40
Speaker 7: same kind of fear and shock and anger, and it
• 1:07:46
Speaker 7: can have the same kind of emotional timulus that the
• 1:07:50
Speaker 7: original incident and and those things can really produce. What
• 1:07:59
Speaker 7: Doc was talk about last week was depression and anxiety.
• 1:08:04
Speaker 7: We feel helpless, we feel where do we go? What
• 1:08:08
Speaker 7: do we do? Is it really serious enough to go?
• 1:08:11
Speaker 7: Am I going to make it? Am I going to
• 1:08:13
Speaker 7: be messed up the rest of my life? And have
• 1:08:15
Speaker 7: have injuries, And as we all have spoken from time
• 1:08:21
Speaker 7: to time, that can happen as much as the result
• 1:08:25
Speaker 7: of a hospital visit as as the initial incident can.
• 1:08:32
Speaker 7: It's the trauma of being hurt. The intensity of it
• 1:08:41
Speaker 7: is all again, it's relative. I have known people who
• 1:08:50
Speaker 7: with a broken arm walked into an emergency to have
• 1:08:53
Speaker 7: it said, and had no sense of exhibiting pain, which
• 1:08:58
Speaker 7: is not so that they didn't feel it, but no
• 1:09:00
Speaker 7: sense of exhibiting pain. Burn victims with incredible injuries that
• 1:09:07
  Speaker 7: just hadn't hadn't responded in a way that I imagine
• 1:09:13
Speaker 7: I would respond if something like that happened to me.
• 1:09:17
Speaker 7: But even with things like surgery, which is is a
• 1:09:22
Speaker 7: traumatic event to our body, they're cutting and and putting
• 1:09:26
Speaker 7: things back together. They're they're they're damaging to repair damage,
• 1:09:32
Speaker 7: and that and that includes surgery that if they describe
• 1:09:37
Speaker 7: as elective, that may not be the result of any
• 1:09:42
Speaker 7: MH problem, of any accident, but more of illness. The
• 1:09:48
Speaker 7: results and the responses are the same, and those can
• 1:09:55
Speaker 7: again push us into areas of being depressed and uh
• 1:09:59
Speaker 7: feel helpless, of not knowing what we're going to do
• 1:10:03
Speaker 7: and what happens now, and it gets into anxiety. It's
• 1:10:08
Speaker 7: it's it's interesting to me, having seen this over a
• 1:10:14
Speaker 7: few years of working with folks, how we respond to it,
• 1:10:19
Speaker 7: how differently people respond to these things. As human beings,
• 1:10:25
Speaker 7: we're pretty resilient physically and mentally, but we all pay
• 1:10:31
Speaker 7: a price for an injury. And how we do that,
• 1:10:37
Speaker 7: I think again it is a very individual process. After
• 1:10:43
Speaker 7: after I've never heard physicians talk about about the depression,
• 1:10:51
Speaker 7: about the anxiety, about the part of injury that happens
• 1:10:54
Speaker 7: after they're done with what they do. I've always and
• 1:11:00
Speaker 7: puzzled by that, because dealing with the depression of the
• 1:11:04
Speaker 7: anxiety is just as much a part of healing as
• 1:11:08
Speaker 7: a physicality that was practiced before they got purn loose,
• 1:11:13
Speaker 7: before the patient's got purn loose. How do we deal
• 1:11:17
Speaker 7: with kind of confronting this these events in our lives
• 1:11:23
Speaker 7: that can't change us, that that make a difference. Depending
• 1:11:28
Speaker 7: on the injury, our whole lifestyle might change. Of course,
• 1:11:35
Speaker 7: that's depressing. You know, when we're in a tough spot,
• 1:11:39
Speaker 7: it doesn't matter what it is, we always want to
• 1:11:41
Speaker 7: go back to the familiar. We want to go to
• 1:11:43
Speaker 7: what's known, what we've been through before. When we encounter
• 1:11:47
Speaker 7: a situation that we've never been through before, pretty unknown territory,
• 1:11:54
Speaker 7: pretty scary stuff, what do we do? How do we
• 1:11:57
Speaker 7: deal with that? How do we treat how do we
• 1:12:00
Speaker 7: treat as a as a psychotherapists, as somebody who's been
• 1:12:05
Speaker 7: interested in psychology for through three hundred years? How do
• 1:12:09
Speaker 7: we how do we treat things like anxiety and depression?
• 1:12:17
Speaker 7: In the years that I had my practice, those were
• 1:12:19
Speaker 7: the two major problems KY people came in with. Sometimes
• 1:12:26
Speaker 7: they were pretty intense, sometimes they were not so intense,
• 1:12:32
Speaker 7: but nonetheless they were very disruptive to what their usual
• 1:12:37
Speaker 7: lifestyle had been. How do we how do we treat that? Again?
• 1:12:41
  Speaker 7: I know I've I've said, and we've talked for however
• 1:12:45
Speaker 7: long we've been doing all of these shows. But psychotropic
• 1:12:49
Speaker 7: medications medications specifically designed to treat mental illness or depression, anxiety, psychosists, whatever,
• 1:12:59
Speaker 7: they they don't cure anything. They mediate the symptoms, they
• 1:13:06
Speaker 7: mediate the symptoms, they diminish the symptoms. Hopefully we're told
• 1:13:12
Speaker 7: to the point that the person can, the patient can
• 1:13:16
Speaker 7: begin to regain that sense of personal balance. But and
• 1:13:21
Speaker 7: then among in and on themselves, those medications don't cure anything.
• 1:13:27
Speaker 7: And I think that the perception on a lot of
• 1:13:30
Speaker 7: folks who wind up taking this stuff is that if
• 1:13:34
Speaker 7: they start to take it, they're going to get cured.
• 1:13:36
Speaker 7: And no, if they if they are, if they come
• 1:13:40
Speaker 7: out of that episode and are able to begin to
• 1:13:45
Speaker 7: have a sense of their former lifestyle, their former behavior,
• 1:13:48
Speaker 7: it's not because of that. It's because of what they've
• 1:13:51
Speaker 7: been able to manage within themselves. There's you know, there's
• 1:13:56
Speaker 7: no quick fixes for depression or anxiety. It takes time,
• 1:14:03
Speaker 7: and it takes patience, and it takes an awareness of
• 1:14:09
Speaker 7: what you're experiencing. What a patient is experiencing is they
• 1:14:13
Speaker 7: begin and that was really my job as the therapist
• 1:14:15
Speaker 7: was to begin to give them a sense of vocabulary.
• 1:14:21
Speaker 7: How am I doing, where am I in that process,
• 1:14:23
Speaker 7: what's going to happen? How does that work. How do
• 1:14:25
Speaker 7: I deal with this? What does this mean? How do
• 1:14:28
Speaker 7: I carry on? How do I do that? For folks
• 1:14:32
Speaker 7: with what we used to call disabling injuries loss of
• 1:14:39
Speaker 7: a limb, some kind of problem where paralysis, where their
• 1:14:46
Speaker 7: lifestyle is dramatically and actually changed, that's a whole different
• 1:14:53
Speaker 7: ballgame because essentially they have to start over now. Somebody
• 1:15:00
Speaker 7: who's lost a limb, an arm, or a leg essentially
• 1:15:04
Speaker 7: has to retrain themselves. It's like they did when they
• 1:15:10
Speaker 7: first learning to walk or to use their hands roar.
• 1:15:16
Speaker 7: It's it's a frustrating and discouraging process because it can
• 1:15:23
Speaker 7: it can take years. On the other hand, you know,
• 1:15:27
Speaker 7: I know people I've worked with people who've had had
• 1:15:31
Speaker 7: lost a leg or part of leg. Six months, they
• 1:15:36
Speaker 7: were right back at it. It's just their personality and
• 1:15:42
Speaker 7: and the drive that they have, and the encouragement that
• 1:15:45
Speaker 7: they get from those people that are close to them.
• 1:15:49
Speaker 7: One of the things that is a therapist that I
• 1:15:52
Speaker 7: never I always tried to practice is that I never
• 1:15:59
Speaker 7: greeted a per that came into my office as if
• 1:16:02
Speaker 7: there was a problem. They are who they are, what
• 1:16:07
Speaker 7: do we need to fix? But I'm not gonna make
• 1:16:13
Speaker 7: exceptions to them because they came in in a walker
• 1:16:17
Speaker 7: or a wheelchair. They're human beings and to treat them
• 1:16:21
Speaker 7: as less of that is I think more damaging in
• 1:16:25
Speaker 7: many cases than the original injury or the original condition.
• 1:16:29
Speaker 7: These are people that just have a different ache on
• 1:16:32
Speaker 7: life than we do, and let us move on. It
• 1:16:37
Speaker 7: is and I said, always been a puzzle to me
• 1:16:39
Speaker 7: that that aspect of the medical profession. You know, they
• 1:16:44
Speaker 7: turn them over to psychiatrists who give them drugs, and
• 1:16:48
Speaker 7: we'll talk about some stuff once in a while, but
• 1:16:50
Speaker 7: you know, the the reliance primarily is on pharmaceuticals. That
• 1:16:55
  Speaker 7: doesn't work. It doesn't work. It's a great income source,
• 1:17:00
Speaker 7: but it's just it's just it's not ethically, to me,
• 1:17:05
Speaker 7: an acceptable way to deal with somebody who's got an
• 1:17:09
Speaker 7: issue recovering from an injury. And as I said, you
• 1:17:13
Speaker 7: know the injury. You know, it can be it can
• 1:17:17
Speaker 7: be a cut finger. It's an injury. How do we
• 1:17:22
Speaker 7: move past that? We have people have a heart attack,
• 1:17:26
Speaker 7: it's an injury. How do we move past that? Sometimes
• 1:17:31
Speaker 7: we don't. You know, sometimes folks just don't want to
• 1:17:38
Speaker 7: get well, that's the hard part of the business. Sometimes
• 1:17:44
Speaker 7: they just don't and how do we again move through
• 1:17:51
Speaker 7: is very difficult, dramatic experience in their life so that
• 1:17:57
Speaker 7: they can begin to find their way back to some
• 1:18:00
Speaker 7: sense of normalcy. It won't be the same, it won't
• 1:18:06
Speaker 7: be the same. Something changes. We're injured, we're hurt in
• 1:18:13
Speaker 7: some way. It changes us and we will never go
• 1:18:16
Speaker 7: back to the way we were because we're different and
• 1:18:20
Speaker 7: learned to me because that's that difference as part of
• 1:18:23
Speaker 7: the new who we are. I think that that was
• 1:18:28
Speaker 7: part of my job, as part of a doc's job.
• 1:18:30
Speaker 7: And I had a patient tell me, ask me why.
• 1:18:32
Speaker 7: She said, do you know what your job is? You
• 1:18:34
Speaker 7: know what you're supposed to do? And I thought, well,
• 1:18:37
Speaker 7: it was an interesting question. I said, what he said,
• 1:18:39
Speaker 7: you're supposed to help us feel better? Well, hell yeah,
• 1:18:46
Speaker 7: that's right. I had never heard it put quite and
• 1:18:49
Speaker 7: no sctinctly. But that's what doc does. That's what I did,
• 1:18:54
  Speaker 7: and I've had a practice. I think that's what a
• 1:18:58
Speaker 7: lot of folks in the medical orf I should try
• 1:19:00
Speaker 7: to do, is help somebody feel better the long haul.
• 1:19:03
Speaker 7: Maybe that's a whole different story, and what the dog's
• 1:19:07
Speaker 7: famous side effects are as a whole other story. But
• 1:19:11
Speaker 7: I think the moment is to try and help folks
• 1:19:13
Speaker 7: feel better, cry and help them find their sense of
• 1:19:18
Speaker 7: resilience and their sense of self strength and get their
• 1:19:26
Speaker 7: life back together. Well, yeah, when we're injured, when we're hurt,
• 1:19:30
Speaker 7: when we've had some kind of physical trauma, it's never
• 1:19:33
Speaker 7: anything to take lightly. Never. It's a serious thing, and
• 1:19:40
Speaker 7: I think it needs serious consideration and serious attention and
• 1:19:45
Speaker 7: a lot of patience and a lot of time. So
• 1:19:48
Speaker 7: there you go, a short one. But I thought it
• 1:19:51
Speaker 7: was an important part to get into because it's something
• 1:19:53
Speaker 7: that you dog brought up last week. And I don't
• 1:19:58
Speaker 7: know if standard process or products like that have any
• 1:20:06
Speaker 7: kind of helpful material for feeling people who are dealing
• 1:20:11
Speaker 7: with depression or with anxiety. I don't think I've ever
• 1:20:14
Speaker 7: heard any in depth discussion about that, about what kind
• 1:20:21
Speaker 7: of natural products are available to help somebody who's dealing
• 1:20:26
Speaker 7: with anxiety or some of the even more serious kinds
• 1:20:30
Speaker 7: of conditions. But having a resource to tie into goes
• 1:20:39
Speaker 7: a long way in the healing process, and I think
• 1:20:42
Speaker 7: that we need to always be aware of that, even
• 1:20:46
Speaker 7: even if it's just sitting with somebody and listening to
• 1:20:49
Speaker 7: them talk for half an hour. Best part of the
• 1:20:51
Speaker 7: healing process, and it's something that we all need to
• 1:20:54
  Speaker 7: be aware.
• 1:20:55
Speaker 3: There I go, good stuff. I would say, no doubt
• 1:21:01
Speaker 3: in my mind that you were a fabulous therapist and
• 1:21:06
Speaker 3: still are, and a good friend, and your heart was
• 1:21:10
Speaker 3: always in the right.
• 1:21:11
Speaker 7: Place all the way to the bank.
• 1:21:16
Speaker 3: Yeah, neither one of us made a lot of money
• 1:21:19
Speaker 3: doing what we're doing. And sure to say, but to
• 1:21:24
Speaker 3: answer your thing, one of the first things we grab
• 1:21:28
Speaker 3: for depression is the simplex M or the simplex F
• 1:21:32
Speaker 3: because it addresses adrenal thyroid, pituitary ovariase or testies. That's
• 1:21:39
Speaker 3: the very first thing for depression. And for anxiety, and
• 1:21:45
Speaker 3: again everybody's a little different, but anxiety we usually go
• 1:21:49
Speaker 3: to one of the mineral tranquilizers to help them stabilize
• 1:21:54
Speaker 3: and calm. And as you and I have found many times, patience,
• 1:22:00
Speaker 3: its need the nutritional things that I do with the
• 1:22:05
Speaker 3: therapy that you do, uh, and it works very well together.
• 1:22:10
Speaker 3: But anxiety usually one of the mineral tranquilizers.
• 1:22:15
  Speaker 7: UH.
• 1:22:15
Speaker 3: And again simplex F for M and maybe drenomen for
• 1:22:19
Speaker 3: adrenals because usually they're shot. And so there's a lot
• 1:22:23
Speaker 3: we can do. But I can tell you, ladies, and
• 1:22:27
Speaker 3: gentlemen from experience that Bill and I have treated a patient.
• 1:22:32
Speaker 3: Both of us have treated that patient and worked together
• 1:22:35
Speaker 3: and it worked pretty well, and the patient had a
• 1:22:38
Speaker 3: lot of issues, so it was it was kind of
• 1:22:41
Speaker 3: fun doing that, Susie.
• 1:22:42
Speaker 7: Anything. Let me jump right in before Susie does. But
• 1:22:47
Speaker 7: I think, I think again, when you're talking about the
• 1:22:50
Speaker 7: combination of response to difficulties, it's nutritional, it's it's psychological,
• 1:22:57
  Speaker 7: it's structural, it's it's everything. You're not just fixing one
• 1:23:02
Speaker 7: thing like most of our doctors like us to do. Okay, sorry, Susan,
• 1:23:06
  Speaker 7: go ahead.
• 1:23:07
Speaker 1: Well, you know y'all are being so serious here and
• 1:23:11
  Speaker 1: I can't help but thinking, I think I need to
• 1:23:14
Speaker 1: add or in sort some levity here. What if you
• 1:23:19
Speaker 1: don't have testes, you just as all.
• 1:23:26
Speaker 3: Well without them. Unfortunately, you don't have a full feedback
• 1:23:34
Speaker 3: supply system of the hormones for the male. And so
• 1:23:40
Speaker 3: whether it be some animal that Susie fixed who wasn't broken,
• 1:23:45
Speaker 3: or a person that's gonna mess things up a bit,
• 1:23:50
Speaker 3: and it's going to be an issue that might always
• 1:23:53
Speaker 3: be an underlying problem. And as for the women, when
• 1:23:57
Speaker 3: you take out ovaries, the body's still communicating with them,
• 1:24:05
Speaker 3: and because they're kind of a gland type deal and
• 1:24:10
Speaker 3: their tissue. I don't think you ever totally get rid
• 1:24:13
Speaker 3: of any kind of gland or argon completely. I think
• 1:24:17
Speaker 3: they're connected to the body through tissue and blood, and
• 1:24:22
Speaker 3: I don't think you ever totally get rid of something.
• 1:24:28
Speaker 1: So what are you saying that the ovaries on a
• 1:24:30
Speaker 1: female or somewhat equivalent to male testes.
• 1:24:37
Speaker 3: As far as hormonal stuff. Yeah, because what happens in
• 1:24:41
Speaker 3: the body is the adrenals and the thyroid, the pituitary,
• 1:24:46
Speaker 3: the ovaries artestes are all talking to the hypothalamus, and
• 1:24:53
Speaker 3: they always say that HP access for the hypothalamus and
• 1:24:56
Speaker 3: the pituitary, and they communicate and they look out and say,
• 1:25:02
Speaker 3: anybody need anything, Yeah, we need some thyroid hormone over here.
• 1:25:07
Speaker 3: We need some stimulating something. And then so the body
• 1:25:13
Speaker 3: with that feedback system is always trying to balance the problem.
• 1:25:18
Speaker 3: And sometimes, like Bill mentioned, you've run down a lot
• 1:25:25
Speaker 3: of these guys in battle and war come back and
• 1:25:32
Speaker 3: they call it. Nowadays they call it PTSC. The old
• 1:25:35
Speaker 3: days they used to call it shell shock. But what
• 1:25:39
Speaker 3: it amounts to is you could only take so much
• 1:25:44
Speaker 3: before the adrena was in the fight to flight. Built
• 1:25:48
Speaker 3: in mechanism just can't take it, can't keep up, and
• 1:25:53
Speaker 3: so we have to go back in and adjust that.
• 1:25:55
Speaker 3: And what we find is that the hormones are just
• 1:25:59
Speaker 3: way out of whack and also you need the therapy
• 1:26:02
Speaker 3: side of that that Bill's very good at. I mean
• 1:26:06
Speaker 3: I did some therapy stuff, but nothing in the level
• 1:26:08
Speaker 3: like what Bill would do. And uh, we found except
• 1:26:12
Speaker 3: with the patient that we both worked on that it
• 1:26:14
Speaker 3: took both of us, and last I heard that patient
• 1:26:18
Speaker 3: was doing really well. So you know, it makes a difference.
• 1:26:23
Speaker 3: But if you start taking out parts and the body
• 1:26:26
Speaker 3: can't find them, you're you're definitely gonna have some issues.
• 1:26:31
Speaker 3: You know, you go turn on the light switch for
• 1:26:33
Speaker 3: the kitchen and there ain't no kitchen. Not a good thing.
• 1:26:41
Speaker 1: So when they butchered me, they called it a partial hysterectomy.
• 1:26:49
Speaker 1: And so one of the things that they tried, well
• 1:26:53
Speaker 1: they did push upon me was you know, we're going
• 1:26:57
Speaker 1: to take the uterus. We're gonna leave you know, the ovaries,
• 1:27:03
Speaker 1: but we're going to take the cervix. And this was
• 1:27:08
Speaker 1: literally I kid you not, you know, like okay, uh,
• 1:27:14
Speaker 1: your your mama had breast cancer, your grandmother had breast cancer.
• 1:27:19
Speaker 1: Your great grandmother had breast cancer. So you don't. But
• 1:27:25
Speaker 1: how about if we just cut your boobs off? Okay,
• 1:27:28
Speaker 1: so this this is that pre pre or even nonexistent
• 1:27:35
Speaker 1: cancer estate saying, you know, uh, cervical cancer is prevalent,
• 1:27:42
Speaker 1: so let's take your cervix. So that's what they did
• 1:27:44
  Speaker 1: to me.
• 1:27:45
  Speaker 7: Yeah, and so.
• 1:27:46
Speaker 1: It's no wonder you know that there's been times when
• 1:27:51
Speaker 1: I didn't know what was up and what was down.
• 1:27:54
Speaker 1: I mean just just absolutely all over the place, scattered,
• 1:27:59
Speaker 1: which I think is.
• 1:28:01
Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't even imagine how screwed up. And I've
• 1:28:06
Speaker 3: dealt with so many women that they removed parts. And
• 1:28:10
Speaker 3: what was the worst thing I ever seen here in
• 1:28:15
Speaker 3: Texas there were two doctors for almost twenty five thirty
• 1:28:20
Speaker 3: years that lied to women and told them they had
• 1:28:23
Speaker 3: breast cancer. And they finally caught them and they went
• 1:28:27
Speaker 3: to prison. But for twenty to twenty five years, women
• 1:28:30
Speaker 3: were told they had breast cancer, put on expensive treatments,
• 1:28:36
Speaker 3: many of them lost their breast and they never had
• 1:28:40
Speaker 3: a problem to begin with. And then another thing that
• 1:28:43
  Speaker 3: I truly despise, and that's why I'm not a fan
• 1:28:47
Speaker 3: of testing in a lot of things, because usually you
• 1:28:51
Speaker 3: don't need testing, you need to listen to people. But
• 1:28:55
Speaker 3: they were doing genetic testing and convincing young women that
• 1:29:01
Speaker 3: you're predisposed for the gene of breast cancer, so we
• 1:29:05
Speaker 3: highly suggest while you're young, we take your breast off.
• 1:29:09
Speaker 3: And women were falling for that, probably because they trusted
• 1:29:13
Speaker 3: those people. And it's so sad when you're the patient
• 1:29:19
Speaker 3: all bets are off. You could be so horrified that
• 1:29:22
Speaker 3: you can't think clearly. And unfortunately a lot of times
• 1:29:27
Speaker 3: family gets involved and they make bad decisions and pressure
• 1:29:31
Speaker 3: you into bad decisions. But the one thing you can
• 1:29:35
Speaker 3: always remember, ladies and gentlemen in most cases, and cancer
• 1:29:40
Speaker 3: is one of them, doing nothing is better than anything
• 1:29:46
Speaker 3: you would let them do. On the pharmaceutical side, my opinion,
• 1:29:51
Speaker 3: they're going to tell you just the opposite. But I've
• 1:29:54
Speaker 3: done a lot of research and I've treated a lot
• 1:29:57
Speaker 3: of things over the last almost thirty years, and I
• 1:30:02
Speaker 3: would rather tell them do nothing if you don't want
• 1:30:05
Speaker 3: somebody like me to help, But don't let them cut
• 1:30:09
Speaker 3: or give you all that radiation and chemo, because we
• 1:30:13
Speaker 3: know those things are bad. And SUSY's had a roller
• 1:30:18
Speaker 3: coaster of a life, and a lot of it was
• 1:30:23
Speaker 3: because of them, and she trusted them and they were
• 1:30:27
Speaker 3: not to be trusted bail anything.
• 1:30:32
Speaker 7: Yeah, that's I mean what you just said, I think
• 1:30:35
Speaker 7: is a huge point. Doc we've you know, we grew
• 1:30:40
Speaker 7: up in a culture where anybody in a white lab
• 1:30:44
Speaker 7: coat is right up there next to God, and who
• 1:30:52
Speaker 7: understand that that they are fallible, that they are succeptable
• 1:31:00
Speaker 7: to failure, and that they can be wrong. It's just
• 1:31:03
Speaker 7: so counter to everything that we grew up with. So
• 1:31:09
Speaker 7: who do we trust? How do we begin to to
• 1:31:13
Speaker 7: find a system that that we can believe in? And
• 1:31:20
  Speaker 7: I think that's I think that's a real issue. And
• 1:31:24
Speaker 7: I don't think that I read an interesting essays sometime ago,
• 1:31:30
Speaker 7: a couple of months ago about uh are almost unfailing
• 1:31:39
Speaker 7: belief in science, that science has all the answers that
• 1:31:44
Speaker 7: science has, you know, all their doctors, for God's sakes,
• 1:31:49
Speaker 7: they know everything, and you where do we go?
• 1:31:56
  Speaker 5: Where?
• 1:31:56
Speaker 7: Where do we go? And I really think that so
• 1:31:59
Speaker 7: much of of meta and so much of healing has
• 1:32:04
Speaker 7: to do with personal interaction. You know, if we meet somebody,
• 1:32:09
Speaker 7: we know pretty quick if we if we like them,
• 1:32:11
Speaker 7: or we don't like them. Well, the same thing is
• 1:32:14
Speaker 7: true with doctors with with health. If the person that
• 1:32:20
Speaker 7: we that we're talking to all of a sudden begins
• 1:32:22
Speaker 7: to sound a little bit like a used car salesman,
• 1:32:25
Speaker 7: that should be a yellow light or a red one
• 1:32:29
Speaker 7: or a green one. To go out the door, To
• 1:32:32
Speaker 7: trust our kind of intuitive sense of what we're being told,
• 1:32:35
Speaker 7: and not to be afraid to ask questions. I mean,
• 1:32:39
Speaker 7: we don't have to just accept everything that that somebody
• 1:32:42
Speaker 7: tells us. I mean, you and I have had discussions
• 1:32:45
Speaker 7: about things that I kind of will push you once
• 1:32:47
Speaker 7: in a while to find out about something because that's
• 1:32:51
Speaker 7: the relationship that we have, and I think that's the
• 1:32:53
Speaker 7: way that healthcare should be. No, man, I don't care
• 1:32:57
Speaker 7: if it's with a natural health provider or or the
• 1:33:01
Speaker 7: pharmaceutical people. But nobody asked questions, what's this stuff due
• 1:33:06
Speaker 7: to me? How long is this gonna land? What? What?
• 1:33:10
Speaker 7: What are my chances of getting over this?
• 1:33:12
  Speaker 5: They don't.
• 1:33:13
Speaker 7: They're afraid to ask that. I guess they're afraid of
• 1:33:15
Speaker 7: being told. I don't know, but we we have to
• 1:33:18
Speaker 7: lose that fear of understanding. Sorry, I didn't mean to rent.
• 1:33:24
Speaker 3: Oh, No, good, good stuff. I love when you get
• 1:33:26
Speaker 3: on a roll. I've never done this show yet where
• 1:33:31
Speaker 3: I didn't learn something from you and Susy, but I
• 1:33:33
Speaker 3: would never admit that.
• 1:33:36
Speaker 1: Well, it's it's uh, it's the passion for the trade that.
• 1:33:43
Speaker 3: Y'all have, and you have the same passion. The only
• 1:33:48
Speaker 3: difference is, uh, we didn't put doctor or therapists behind
• 1:33:55
Speaker 3: your name because you've been in another world. But you've
• 1:33:58
Speaker 3: you fit right in here and you've got all the
• 1:34:01
Speaker 3: same passion and love and desire. And I lost count
• 1:34:05
Speaker 3: of how many people you tried to help that didn't
• 1:34:08
Speaker 3: follow through and you still hung in there.
• 1:34:13
Speaker 1: Well, right, but there was there was during the plandemic
• 1:34:20
Speaker 1: during COVID. There was one young man up in the
• 1:34:23
Speaker 1: Fort Worth area whose life was saved because of the
• 1:34:28
Speaker 1: the protocol and you know, the the rest code, you know,
• 1:34:35
Speaker 1: the whole list, which by the way, is at the
• 1:34:38
Speaker 1: website dot creuper dot com. But you know, for for
• 1:34:41
Speaker 1: us sitting on the sidelines, do I mean, it's like
• 1:34:50
Speaker 1: it is so obvious the road that God took me
• 1:34:55
Speaker 1: down to get me away from what I call establishment Madison.
• 1:35:02
Speaker 1: You know, when I was very very young, No. Twenty
• 1:35:08
Speaker 1: two twenty three, I went to some female. They say
• 1:35:16
Speaker 1: that we have sahara dust in the air here and
• 1:35:20
Speaker 1: you can see it, especially at night. I need to
• 1:35:23
Speaker 1: up my aliplex. Anyways, it's always something like I said.
• 1:35:31
Speaker 1: I was probably about twenty three and I went to
• 1:35:34
Speaker 1: a gynecologist, a female. Of course, that's that's you know, no,
• 1:35:41
Speaker 1: none of us women want to do that from crying
• 1:35:43
Speaker 1: out loud. And so you're you're on this exam table
• 1:35:48
Speaker 1: that looks like a torture chamber device. You know, you're
• 1:35:54
Speaker 1: putting your feet in the stirrups, and you know, I'm
• 1:35:58
Speaker 1: maybe team my heir, but so you know, I've got
• 1:36:04
Speaker 1: the gown on, I've got this sheet over me, and
• 1:36:08
Speaker 1: I'm like, come on, let's just get this over with him.
• 1:36:11
  Speaker 1: All of a sudden, I don't know if I've told
• 1:36:13
Speaker 1: you all this or not, but all of a sudden,
• 1:36:15
Speaker 1: I feel her stroking my inner thigh, and I set
• 1:36:22
Speaker 1: up like I had been shot. And I think I
• 1:36:27
  Speaker 1: probably used the F word. I don't think I said
• 1:36:32
Speaker 1: what the hell are you doing? I think I said
• 1:36:35
Speaker 1: what the And I got up and I walked out,
• 1:36:39
Speaker 1: and I went home crying. I had felt so violated okay,
• 1:36:45
Speaker 1: well there's one doctor. You know you're gone. You build
• 1:36:50
Speaker 1: my insurance. I'm suing you, you pervert. Then I got
• 1:36:55
Speaker 1: a you know, a son who's eight who breaks his
• 1:36:59
Speaker 1: lean egg on a go cart that daddy built him.
• 1:37:05
Speaker 1: I take him in to a doctor and they may
• 1:37:12
Speaker 1: try to make me leave the room. You can't stay
• 1:37:15
Speaker 1: in here, And I'm like, you're full of it. There's
• 1:37:19
Speaker 1: something about these doctors that make me talk like a sailor.
• 1:37:23
Speaker 1: And I said, I'm not leaving. Well, we find that
• 1:37:28
Speaker 1: parents get too emotional, so and then it upsets the child.
• 1:37:33
Speaker 1: So you know we have to ask you to leave.
• 1:37:36
Speaker 1: It's okay, fine, I said, hunh Ley, grab a hold
• 1:37:40
Speaker 1: of my neck. I picked him up, and I walked out,
• 1:37:44
Speaker 1: and I went to the to the lobby, which was
• 1:37:47
Speaker 1: full of people and I and I said, news flash, y'all,
• 1:37:52
Speaker 1: I would not see a doctor who would separate a
• 1:37:55
Speaker 1: mama from her child and a brook with broken leg. Y'all,
• 1:38:01
Speaker 1: make your own decision. Grab the crutches that we had
• 1:38:05
Speaker 1: already gotten, and out the door. I mean, the stories
• 1:38:09
Speaker 1: I see we're at seven thirty three, but the stories,
• 1:38:12
Speaker 1: and I'm sure that people have worse stories than I have.
• 1:38:16
Speaker 1: This is what pushes us away from establishment medicine.
• 1:38:20
Speaker 3: Well, and the reason that stuff happens is people forget,
• 1:38:26
Speaker 3: or maybe the doctors forget, that we work for the patient.
• 1:38:32
Speaker 3: They're not the boss. You make suggestions, you try to help,
• 1:38:37
Speaker 3: You try to be honest, to put yourself in their place.
• 1:38:42
Speaker 3: But when the doctor starts thinking he's the boss, and
• 1:38:45
Speaker 3: the nurse's staff thinks they're your boss, that's wrong. Never
• 1:38:49
Speaker 3: what I tell a parent, they couldn't be in the
• 1:38:52
Speaker 3: room with their child. That's especially when the child's young,
• 1:38:57
Speaker 3: and even as they get older. It's very reassuring to
• 1:39:00
Speaker 3: have mom or dad close by, and especially moms. All right,
• 1:39:05
Speaker 3: anything else, bell before we go to break?
• 1:39:13
  Speaker 5: Is he there?
• 1:39:13
Speaker 7: Bill? Yes, he's there?
• 1:39:16
  Speaker 3: Oh, okay there?
• 1:39:18
  Speaker 7: All right?
• 1:39:19
Speaker 3: Well anything before we go to break?
• 1:39:22
  Speaker 7: No? All good?
• 1:39:23
Speaker 3: All right, Well we come back. We'll jump right into
• 1:39:26
Speaker 3: SUSY's recipes and more, and please listen to our sponsors
• 1:39:32
Speaker 3: and we will be right back. Susie, Bill and myself.
• 1:39:42

Speaker 3: of experience. You want a company that if Ice decides

Speaker 15: and I got myself undrest and I ain't ready for
• 1:41:57
Speaker 15: the altar, but I don't are.
• 1:42:01

• 1:42:05
Speaker 9: Be from the mind be fun thinking about you, my sister,
• 1:42:14
Speaker 9: go down there, surprise, and I just can't.
• 1:42:18
Speaker 5: Live without you. Can't you see it in my eyes.
• 1:42:23
  Speaker 5: I've been one.
• 1:42:25
  Speaker 7: Poe before spine.
• 1:42:27
Speaker 3: I've been too to a part too fine.
• 1:42:31
Speaker 9: But if that's a thing, ain't been on the mine.
• 1:42:38
Speaker 8: But you, you know, just.
• 1:42:48
Speaker 4: Just go back to show.
• 1:42:51
Speaker 3: Then I try to fake it.
• 1:42:54
  Speaker 13: I don't mind saying I just can't make it.
• 1:42:59
  Speaker 7: All right.
• 1:43:00

• 1:43:17
Speaker 3: teach her how to cook, so bear with us anyway.
• 1:43:22
Speaker 3: The name of the company, near as I can figure,
• 1:43:24
Speaker 3: is recent and decent construction.
• 1:43:28
Speaker 1: Susie Well's actually renovation and design custom homes. We do
• 1:43:35

• 1:43:48
Speaker 1: takes a crazy person to circumvent septic in.
• 1:43:52
  Speaker 4: Power and.
• 1:43:54
Speaker 1: All that stuff in the boonie. But you can go
• 1:43:58
Speaker 1: to dot crupa dot com, go to the about page,
• 1:44:01
Speaker 1: scroll down about three quarters of the way and there's
• 1:44:03
Speaker 1: a link that'll take you to our website. And we
• 1:44:07
Speaker 1: could always be reached to eight three zero three seven
• 1:44:10
Speaker 1: seven two three one.
• 1:44:12
  Speaker 3: Take it away.
• 1:44:14
Speaker 1: Okay, So with all this heat and the two hundred
• 1:44:19
Speaker 1: and fifthieth anniversary of the United States when we got
• 1:44:27
Speaker 1: our freedom and independence from the crown man Doc Bill,
• 1:44:34
Speaker 1: wouldn't be nice if we could get our independence from
• 1:44:36
Speaker 1: government next. Okay, So you know there's a little bit
• 1:44:42
Speaker 1: of patriotic going on with me, and well I love
• 1:44:46
Speaker 1: the fireworks and so, but I don't like cooking on
• 1:44:53
Speaker 1: the fourth I like, well, what I like is for
• 1:44:56
Speaker 1: the guys to barbecue something, you know, on the grill.
• 1:45:00
Speaker 1: I like to do things that don't require oven or selftop.
• 1:45:06
Speaker 1: You know, if you're making potato salad, you're gonna have
• 1:45:09
Speaker 1: to boils eggs, that's just the way it is. But
• 1:45:11
Speaker 1: I digress, and I found this recipe. And you know,
• 1:45:15
Speaker 1: there's all kinds of recipes out there, like you've probably
• 1:45:19
Speaker 1: seen them where they bake like a white sheet cake
• 1:45:22
Speaker 1: and then they'll put you know, blueberries or strawberries to
• 1:45:30
Speaker 1: to create the stripes in the flag, and then something
• 1:45:34
Speaker 1: white like you know, whipping cream and put blueberries in
• 1:45:37
Speaker 1: for the stars. I wanted to find something that you
• 1:45:42
Speaker 1: didn't have to bake, and I found this recipe and
• 1:45:45
Speaker 1: I'm so going to do this on the fourth And
• 1:45:48
Speaker 1: this is a red, white and blue berry yum yum,
• 1:45:54
Speaker 1: no baking. Two and a half cups of Graham cracker
• 1:45:58
Speaker 1: crumbs and you know, if you can try to get
• 1:46:04
Speaker 1: some organic Graham crackers and just put them in your
• 1:46:09
Speaker 1: food processor and just give it a world twelve tablespoons
• 1:46:15
Speaker 1: of unsalted butter, and then the yummy part is in
• 1:46:19
Speaker 1: the middle, and it's two eight ounce packages of cream cheese,
• 1:46:25
Speaker 1: one cup of confection or sugar. They you can get
• 1:46:30
Speaker 1: organic confection of sugar. Doing this once, you know, on
• 1:46:35
Speaker 1: the fourth of July, you're not going to Yeah, it's
• 1:46:42
Speaker 1: you know, not gonna affect you that bad I would
• 1:46:45
Speaker 1: probably go ahead and do the allulose doc and I
• 1:46:51
Speaker 1: maybe don't agree on allulose. It is derived from a
• 1:46:55
Speaker 1: kiwi and one things I like about the allulose is
• 1:46:59
Speaker 1: that it will work like the powdered sugar does, and
• 1:47:05
Speaker 1: it'll dissolve well and it'll keep your your whipped cream
• 1:47:12
Speaker 1: a whipped cream color and consistency. So that's one alternative
• 1:47:18
Speaker 1: you can do. Now, it's not quite as sweet as
• 1:47:20
Speaker 1: confection of sugar, so you might need to do a
• 1:47:24
Speaker 1: cup and a quarter. Let me see exactly this is
• 1:47:33
Speaker 1: I want to see. Well, it's a nine y thirteen pans,
• 1:47:36
Speaker 1: so that's a pretty pretty big pan, you know, of dessert.
• 1:47:43
Speaker 1: So a cup and a quarter over that is not
• 1:47:47
Speaker 1: not a biggie. Okay, the cream cheese does have to
• 1:47:52
Speaker 1: be set out or it's not gonna whip up nicely. Okay,
• 1:47:57
Speaker 1: four cups of whipping cream, two teaspoons of vanilla, and
• 1:48:02
Speaker 1: then you know it says six tablespoons of granulated sugar. Well,
• 1:48:08
Speaker 1: I don't know why they want you to put that
• 1:48:12
Speaker 1: in there. We'll figure it out as we read. And
• 1:48:15
Speaker 1: then you're mixed fruit filling and more and more companies
• 1:48:21
Speaker 1: like Lucky, I think is one that's putting out an
• 1:48:25
Speaker 1: organic pie filling and then whatever you can find that
• 1:48:30
Speaker 1: you know, natural grocers or sprouts or wherever, and then
• 1:48:35
Speaker 1: a twenty one ounce can a blueberry pie filling or
• 1:48:42
Speaker 1: you know, if you're canning and you put this stuff up,
• 1:48:46
Speaker 1: you've got to head start on healthy. Okay. So in
• 1:48:52
Speaker 1: a bowl, you're gonna combine your gram crackers and then
• 1:48:54
Speaker 1: your melted butter and just use a fork until you
• 1:48:58
Speaker 1: know the crumbs are well moistened. Okay. So then you're
• 1:49:05
Speaker 1: gonna set aside three tablespoons of these chrumbs because you're
• 1:49:10
Speaker 1: going to decorate the top with it. Then you're gonna
• 1:49:13
Speaker 1: press your gram cracker butter mixture into your nine x
• 1:49:21
Speaker 1: thirteen and it'll tend to want to stick. You can
• 1:49:27
Speaker 1: use some spray, or you can use parchment paper. And
• 1:49:35
Speaker 1: then from there you're going to with an electric mixer.
• 1:49:45
Speaker 1: You're going to whip up your whipped cream with your
• 1:49:51
Speaker 1: confection of sugar and or your ayelos, and then until
• 1:49:59
Speaker 1: you get like up peaks, you know, that's where you
• 1:50:02
Speaker 1: just kind of pick up your your whisk or your
• 1:50:08
Speaker 1: electric mixer and and it just the peaks will hold,
• 1:50:13
Speaker 1: they'll stay upright. So then you're going to add in
• 1:50:21
Speaker 1: your your vanilla extract and just blend all this until
• 1:50:25
Speaker 1: it's completely smooth. So uh, in a another bowl, you're
• 1:50:33
Speaker 1: you're going to whip your where am I at? You're
• 1:50:44
Speaker 1: going to do your cream cheese and then sorry, I
• 1:50:55
Speaker 1: got a little bit of distraction. There's a man here
• 1:50:57
  Speaker 1: spraying for scorpions.
• 1:51:00
  Speaker 7: Okay.
• 1:51:01
Speaker 1: So then with your hand mixer, you're going to mix
• 1:51:04
Speaker 1: together your whipped cream and your cream cheese until it's
• 1:51:09
Speaker 1: well combined. Okay. So then comes the assembly. Uh, you're
• 1:51:13
Speaker 1: gonna put a a third You've already put your Graham
• 1:51:19
Speaker 1: cracker in the in the bottom and pressed it down nicely.
• 1:51:22
Speaker 1: It's gonna look like a like a cheesecake crust. Then
• 1:51:26
Speaker 1: you're gonna put a third of your cream cheese whipped
• 1:51:29
Speaker 1: cream mixture about three cups and spread that evenly on
• 1:51:35
Speaker 1: on top of your crust. Then you're gonna put your
• 1:51:39
Speaker 1: strawberry pie feeling just kind of drop it, you know,
• 1:51:46
Speaker 1: and like in dolls, and then spread it, you know,
• 1:51:50
Speaker 1: the best that you can kind of evenly. Then you're
• 1:51:53
Speaker 1: gonna top it with another third of your cream cheese
• 1:51:56
Speaker 1: whipped cream stuff. Then you're gonna do the same thing.
• 1:52:02
Speaker 1: Then you're going to finish with the rest of the
• 1:52:05
Speaker 1: strawberry filling. And this is easy. It comes together like
• 1:52:10
Speaker 1: a aslanya. Then you're going to do your blueberry pie
• 1:52:20
Speaker 1: feeling the same way and then spread that evenly, and
• 1:52:25
Speaker 1: then you're going to do another layer of your cream
• 1:52:30
Speaker 1: cheese whipped cream, and then you will you will end
• 1:52:38
Speaker 1: up with cream cheese whipped cream on the top between
• 1:52:43
Speaker 1: your layers. And then just for I don't know, presentation wise,
• 1:52:48
Speaker 1: you're going to sprinkle the rest of that Graham cracker
• 1:52:52
Speaker 1: on the top, you know, you cover it. You could
• 1:52:55
Speaker 1: do this the day or the night before, stick it
• 1:52:58
Speaker 1: in the fridge, and that means less work on the
• 1:53:01
Speaker 1: fourth and more time for barbecue and fireworks. And it's
• 1:53:05
  Speaker 1: all kind.
• 1:53:07
  Speaker 3: I think she's been drinking.
• 1:53:09
  Speaker 5: Bill will No.
• 1:53:15
Speaker 3: Hunley came in and was measuring his trophy wife for
• 1:53:18
  Speaker 3: the mantle.
• 1:53:20
Speaker 1: Well, you know, I told you when we talked on
• 1:53:22
Speaker 1: the phone earlier that I got the whiteboard out, you know,
• 1:53:27
Speaker 1: and I started listing things, you know, like it's only
• 1:53:31
Speaker 1: July the first, how bad if we get rid of
• 1:53:35
Speaker 1: the firewood it's on the firewood rack outside and put
• 1:53:39
Speaker 1: that back, you know, things like that. And then one
• 1:53:41
Speaker 1: of them was like, spray spray for score fans. Of course,
• 1:53:45
Speaker 1: you know his timing is so perfect and he comes
• 1:53:50
Speaker 1: walking in with the sprayer.
• 1:53:53
Speaker 3: Did you tell him that he got to sing on
• 1:53:56
  Speaker 3: the radio tonight?
• 1:53:58
Speaker 1: No, I took I literally took the following in there
• 1:54:01
Speaker 1: and let him listen to it. And and uh, he
• 1:54:05
Speaker 1: got a big old green on his face.
• 1:54:07
Speaker 3: Plus he just had a birthday, So uh, birthday and
• 1:54:11
Speaker 3: anniversary all in the same week. That's pretty cool.
• 1:54:14
Speaker 1: We got we get Father's Day, we get birthday, we
• 1:54:17
Speaker 1: get anniversaries, we get fourth July, and then tomorrow we're
• 1:54:22
Speaker 1: going to see that movie by Angel Studios called Young
• 1:54:28
Speaker 1: Young George, Young George Washington.
• 1:54:32
Speaker 3: That that ought be cool.
• 1:54:34
Speaker 1: And I feel like we've done more in a week
• 1:54:37
Speaker 1: than we've done in six months.
• 1:54:40
Speaker 3: I really like that. I chose that song. And you said,
• 1:54:43
Speaker 3: he said told you let's take the long Way home.
• 1:54:47
  Speaker 3: I mean I.
• 1:54:49
Speaker 1: Was almost tears when something you.
• 1:54:52
Speaker 3: Just can't be an accident. It just works out there,
• 1:54:55
  Speaker 3: right Bill?
• 1:54:56
  Speaker 1: Anything?
• 1:54:58
  Speaker 7: Yeah, yes, and.
• 1:55:00
Speaker 3: No, well, let's do the s part.
• 1:55:08
Speaker 7: How long was the long Way? Home. That's okay. I
• 1:55:15
  Speaker 7: figured it out.
• 1:55:16
Speaker 1: It's like, uh, well it was like almost an hour agoing.
• 1:55:22
Speaker 1: It was like an hour and a half coming back.
• 1:55:25
  Speaker 3: That's cool, that's cool, that's nice.
• 1:55:31
  Speaker 1: Oh and I'll tell you what, I don't think I
• 1:55:34
Speaker 1: have ever seen this in my life. So we're, you know,
• 1:55:37
Speaker 1: this back road, I mean it is paved. We come
• 1:55:40
Speaker 1: around the corner and we see these two vehicles and
• 1:55:43
Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, no, I wonder if someone's had an accident.
• 1:55:46
Speaker 1: Oh no, No, they're sitting out there. They got their
• 1:55:50
Speaker 1: lawn chairs and uh they're all waving at us and
• 1:55:55
Speaker 1: and and some just waving like it's we're at the parade.
• 1:55:59
Speaker 1: And then next thing. Yeah, and then the other guy's
• 1:56:02
Speaker 1: like doing his arm rounded around like come on, come on.
• 1:56:05
Speaker 1: I looked at him and I said, they're just sitting
• 1:56:08
Speaker 1: between their cars in lawn chairs. They're having a party
• 1:56:14
Speaker 1: in the road. How many of those deal?
• 1:56:18
Speaker 3: I love it? Boy, those songs tonight really fit right
• 1:56:24
  Speaker 3: in they did.
• 1:56:27
  Speaker 7: Yeah.
• 1:56:27
Speaker 3: How cool? How cool? All right, Well we got about
• 1:56:32
Speaker 3: three more minutes. Guys, Uh, susy, anything you want to
• 1:56:35
  Speaker 3: close out with?
• 1:56:40
  Speaker 1: No, not really, I think I think I I bad
• 1:56:43
Speaker 1: mouth doctor is bad enough.
• 1:56:46
  Speaker 3: Bill anything.
• 1:56:48
Speaker 7: Got a couple of minutes, Yeah, you were before we
• 1:56:52
Speaker 7: started the show. You were talking about tomatoes and got
• 1:56:56
Speaker 7: me to thinking about eight is that my dad used
• 1:57:01
Speaker 7: to grow and they would be that was that was
• 1:57:04
Speaker 7: part of the big boy, better boy generation. But those
• 1:57:07
Speaker 7: tomatoes would be you could slice one and it would
• 1:57:09
Speaker 7: cover a whole slice of bread. I mean those tomatoes
• 1:57:13
Speaker 7: were like four or five inches thick, you know, and
• 1:57:17
Speaker 7: nothing better than a tomato, a cold tomato and mayonnaise
• 1:57:20
Speaker 7: sandwich on a hot summer day. That was pretty fine stuff.
• 1:57:24
  Speaker 14: Oh yeah.
• 1:57:25
Speaker 7: But then got to thinking about his mom would not
• 1:57:31
Speaker 7: eat tomatoes because they were poisonous. They were part of
• 1:57:35
Speaker 7: the night shade family that was passed down for generations
• 1:57:39
Speaker 7: from her a lot of yeah, a lot of people
• 1:57:43
Speaker 7: and there's still kind of some folks that are a
• 1:57:44
Speaker 7: little weird about that. But she would not do it.
• 1:57:48
Speaker 7: And I thought at the time it was it was
• 1:57:51
Speaker 7: funny and stuff, but it was just one of those
• 1:57:53
Speaker 7: folk beliefs that was passed down from generation to generation
• 1:57:58
  Speaker 7: and people just.
• 1:58:01
Speaker 1: Well, I gotta ask you, doc, did you put three
• 1:58:04
Speaker 1: calcium lactate in each hole where you planted your tomato?
• 1:58:09
Speaker 3: No? They were doing so good. I did put some
• 1:58:12
Speaker 3: calcium lactate out there finally, and they were doing fabulous.
• 1:58:17
Speaker 3: But I think too much heat. You know, when it
• 1:58:20
Speaker 3: hits one hundred and seven, the tomatoes say forget it, guys,
• 1:58:23
Speaker 3: We'll see you next year. And then the animals were
• 1:58:27
Speaker 3: getting in there. Even though I had a wire cage
• 1:58:29
Speaker 3: around it, they were getting to it. So it just
• 1:58:34
Speaker 3: it was bad. But they every one of the tomato
• 1:58:37
Speaker 3: plants that came back did it all on their own.
• 1:58:40
Speaker 3: I didn't do anything. This was my lazy year, watching
• 1:58:44
Speaker 3: them pop up and look beautiful and then somebody ate
• 1:58:48
  Speaker 3: my tomatoes.
• 1:58:50
Speaker 1: I'm doing some lazy gardening this year. We need to
• 1:58:55
Speaker 1: redo some of our raised beds, not all of them.
• 1:58:59
Speaker 1: And you know, with with what I've been going through,
• 1:59:03
Speaker 1: you know, with the ear thing and the disney and adrenals,
• 1:59:08
  Speaker 1: I'm like, you know, I think I'm gonna do a
• 1:59:10
Speaker 1: little bit less. So I've got my halopaniols in pots
• 1:59:15
Speaker 1: and this year we'll have done it before.
• 1:59:18
Speaker 7: But I got three.
• 1:59:21
Speaker 1: Patio tomatoes at the same time, and one of them
• 1:59:26
Speaker 1: must have been sick when I got it. So I've
• 1:59:28
Speaker 1: got two of them and they're probably I know they're
• 1:59:33
Speaker 1: two and a half feet tall now and I've got
• 1:59:35
Speaker 1: green tomatoes on them, but they're I get some good
• 1:59:42
Speaker 1: sun coming in at an angle on my back deck,
• 1:59:45
Speaker 1: so that's where they're sitting. And I did the same thing.
• 1:59:49
Speaker 1: I put three calcium black tap tablets in there, and
• 1:59:54
Speaker 1: they're happy, happy, happy.
• 1:59:56
Speaker 3: Oh good, Yeah, mine, I think it's just too hot
• 2:00:00
Speaker 3: one of them. One of the plants looks like somebody
• 2:00:03
Speaker 3: hit it with an oven. It's just not much green left.
• 2:00:08
Speaker 3: And then there's a couple out in the shade, a
• 2:00:10
Speaker 3: little bit of shade, and I've got one of my
• 2:00:14
Speaker 3: i'll scarecrow looking things there and I'm hoping I get
• 2:00:17
Speaker 3: some tomatoes there. So all right, guys, well, I guess
• 2:00:20
Speaker 3: we're gonna wrap it up. Ladies and gentlemen. It has
• 2:00:23
Speaker 3: been an honor and a pleasure, and it looks like
• 2:00:26
Speaker 3: this week everything worked better thanks to Susy suggests that
• 2:00:31
Speaker 3: we switched some things up, and it looks like she
• 2:00:34
Speaker 3: was right on target. We got Bill, we got Susie
• 2:00:37
Speaker 3: and me, and we're just so grateful that you guys
• 2:00:41
Speaker 3: are there. And I'm so grateful for you guys, and
• 2:00:45
Speaker 3: Susy and Bill because without them, it would not be
• 2:00:48
Speaker 3: the same. I had the pleasure of hearing from some
• 2:00:53
Speaker 3: people in Indiana who have been patients and radio listeners
• 2:00:59
Speaker 3: many many years. I mean probably going back ten, eleven
• 2:01:02
Speaker 3: and twelve years, I don't know. And there's still my
• 2:01:06
Speaker 3: patience and they call with some stuff every once in
• 2:01:08
Speaker 3: a while, and boy, it's just so nice. They still
• 2:01:12
Speaker 3: listen to the show, and so that's good that we
• 2:01:15
Speaker 3: got a good one to give them the night. It
• 2:01:18
Speaker 3: looks like it looks like everything worked really well. So
• 2:01:22
Speaker 3: thank Susie and Bill tremendously, Thank all of you guys,
• 2:01:26
Speaker 3: and we're so grateful you're there. And I think even
• 2:01:30
Speaker 3: with us going through struggles, we had over twenty nations
• 2:01:35
Speaker 3: that had clicked on. So pretty nice. So may God
• 2:01:39
Speaker 3: bless you all with health and happiness, keep your lives peaceful,
• 2:01:46
Speaker 3: free and safe. And it is that time for good Scotch,
• 2:01:53
Speaker 3: good cigars, and good night, good night at.
• 2:01:57
Speaker 1: All, good night everyone, bless.
• 2:02:02
Speaker 16: Seems the love I've known has always been the most
• 2:02:06
Speaker 16: destructive kind. Guess that's why now I feel so old.
• 2:02:13
  Speaker 7: Before my time.
• 2:02:17
Speaker 16: Yesterday, when I was young, the taste of life was
• 2:02:23
Speaker 16: sweet as rain upon my tongue I teased at length,
• 2:02:29
Speaker 16: as if it were a foolish.
• 2:02:31
Speaker 13: Game, the way the evening breeze.
• 2:02:36
Speaker 7: May tease a candle flame.
• 2:02:38
Speaker 17: The thousand dreams I dreamed, the splendid things I planned,
• 2:02:44
Speaker 17: I always built to last on weekend, shifting sand.
• 2:02:49
Speaker 16: I lived by night and shunned the naked light of day.
• 2:02:54
Speaker 17: And only now I see how the years ran away.
• 2:03:00
Speaker 16: Yesterday when I was young, and so many happy songs
• 2:03:08
Speaker 16: were ready to be sung, so many
