Woman in Custody After Year-Long Manhunt | Fort Wayne News
A woman on the run for over a year and a half has finally been captured in Fort Wayne—Kirsten Sims-Benson, charged with murder, attempted murder, and firearm use in the November 2024 killing of 58-year-old James Glenn. Glenn allegedly identified Sims-Benson in a prior stabbing, which prosecutors say provided the “distinct motive” for his death. Surveillance footage and cell records place her at the scene and link her to the murder weapon. In court, she announced plans to hire private counsel as the case continues to unfold.
