  like, not based on what I'm hearing, because what I'm

  hearing is Kevin O'Connell trying to keep his cards pretty

  close to the vest. He was pretty short with his

  answers yesterday, almost like he he didn't want to give

  anything away and didn't want to slip up.

  And, and sometimes he tends to talk and give answers.

  I think he didn't didn't really want to give any answers

  yesterday as far as the starting quarterback.

  But when you you kind of read between the line.

  JJ McCarthy told us yesterday, his first comment since Week 2,

  that his ankle is still not 100%.

  They're not going to play JJ McCarthy if he's not 100% and if

  he's not 100% by Wednesday's practice, I have a hard time

  believing he's going to turn over and be at peak by Sunday.

  So Carson Wentz, he's still dealing with the shoulder.

  It is non throwing shoulder. He said it feels fine.

  He was a full participant in practice yesterday.

  So unless something drastic changes over the next few days,

  I do expect Wentz to play against his former team on
• 1:34
  Sunday. So it'll be once out there, the

  offensive line he did. Kelly's concussion issues

  continue and a whole lot more. What can you tell us about the

  health of that offensive line going up, as we know, against a
• 1:45
  very talented Eagles front? Yeah, the good news is that

  Christian Bair saw, even though he came out of the game early
• 1:52
  against the Browns, I think that one raised a little bit of
• 1:54
  concerns. Everything sounds like it.

  He's on track. I think that's that was just a
• 2:00
  case a couple of weeks ago in London of of them continuing to
• 2:04
  monitor his knee injury. So Christian Darasaw is good to

  go. That's probably first and
• 2:08
  foremost important. Sounds like Donovan Jackson

  might have a chance. He was a limited participant
• 2:15
  yesterday after dealing with the wrist surgery, kind of got a
• 2:19
  little bit of action in London and then and now he seems to be
• 2:22
  trending towards playing, but I don't know if that's a
• 2:24
  guarantee. And then and across the line,

  Ryan Kelly, like you mentioned is out.

  Blake Brando played pretty good in his spot minutes there.

  So I think there's a chance, but Brando just takes that job at
• 2:36
  center and instead of Michael Jurgens, who was the backup,

  Will Fry signed this this offseason to be kind of a
• 2:43
  stalwart. He's been that.
• 2:44
  He's played 96% of the offensive snap.

  And then right tackle. I think we're probably looking
• 2:50
  at Justin's school just because Brian O'Neill, he was limited.

  But I think it's still going to need a couple of weeks with that

  that sprained MCL. Dane, you know how rumors are,

  but this one's, I'm not sure what to do with it because

  there's significant buzz from Las Vegas that the like Justin

  Jefferson and some of the veterans want Wentz under centre

  thinking they have a better chance to win, which is the the

  most glowing testament of JJ McCarthy.

  Do you hear any of that? I, I don't, I think what

  especially from Justin Jefferson, what I will say about

  Hammond. I mean, the man has played with
• 3:30
  every quarterback under the sun since he's coming to the league.

  I mean, he's never complained. So if that is out there, I

  highly doubt that is coming from the the mouth of Justin
• 3:42
  Jefferson. It would be a total departure of
• 3:44
  the way he's handled himself throughout his career.

  He has made it very clear, whoever is throwing me the ball,
• 3:51
  I'm going to catch it. And he more often than not
• 3:54
  caught it. So I, I, I, I hear where I
• 3:58
  understand that the noise can be created when, when you see a
• 4:03
  veteran quarterback having success early on and seeing the
• 4:07
  young quarterbacks struggle at times.

  I don't think it's something where the Vikings as a whole
• 4:13
  have quit on JJ McCarthy or are out on him as their quarterback
• 4:17
  of the future. I think that's just the noise
• 4:19
  that inherently gets brought up when when you have situations
• 4:23
  like like this one. So, on the other side, Eagles.

  Who had their Carter? But they have their set of
• 4:29
  issues. They lost two consecutive even
• 4:31
  in the winds. They were out gained in all four
• 4:33
  of their victories this season. Something is off with this

  Philadelphia. Your team kind of feels like a

  wounded animal as you've been getting ready for this game.

  Kind of what have you been able to unearth on this weird

  Philadelphia situation? Yeah, the vibes just feel bad

  and I don't know, it's pretty much as simple as I can put it.

  Like the vibe, it doesn't feel like anybody is enjoying playing

  with each other over there. I will say that's kind of how

  the vibes felt last year for them.

  Right around this time, remember, you had Nick Siriani

  shouting at the fans after long. It just seemed like everything

  was going to go sideways and and then they leaned in and

  obviously won the Super Bowl. So I do think there is an

  opportunity for the Vikings this weekend to capitalize.

  On a team that. Frankly, doesn't seem to like

  each other very much. But at the same time, they are
• 5:21
  the Super Bowl champions for a reason.

  If they cannot stop Saquon Barkley, the Vikings have no
• 5:26
  chance. So I think stop the running

  game, get the Eagles frustrated, see if they'll implode
• 5:31
  themselves. But if the Vikings take care of
• 5:33
  the football, can limit the penalties, even though they're
• 5:36
  going to be underdogs in this game despite being at home, I I
• 5:40
  think they're going to have a chance if they can just not hurt
• 5:43
  themselves. When it comes to Barclays, it's
• 5:44
  hard to believe he doesn't have 100 yard rushing game this year.

  And what's what what's that a product of?

  Do you think? Because he was you couldn't get

  him on the ground last year? Dane, what are teams doing

  differently for him and how will the Vikings go about trying to

  extend that streak to non 100 yard rushing games?

  Yeah, I think their offensive line has been a little bit

  banged up and that that obviously hurts.

  You know, in in the past, the Eagles have had just the

  dominant front and and they've gotten to push and, and

  obviously that's helped everybody, whoever was the

  running back in the backfield. It's kind of just been the

  Eagles DNA as long as I can remember.

  But they've had some issues up front with with injuries and and

  frankly, I just think teams are selling out to stop Saquon
• 6:25
  Barkley. They're saying, let's make Jalen

  Hurts a passer. He hasn't proven at least this
• 6:30
  season to be able to do that with a with a large level of
• 6:33
  consistency kind of an issue throughout his career,
• 6:36
  obviously, and suitable. He looked like a pretty good
• 6:39
  passer and they won the Super Bowl running away against the
• 6:41
  Chiefs. So it's not to say that Jalen
• 6:42
  Hurts cannot beat you with his right arm, but I think teams are
• 6:46
  saying let's make sure Saquon doesn't beat us with his legs,

  Let's make Jalen Hearts beat us with his arm.

  And I think that's why you're seeing a lower output from

  Saquon this year. Teams are just simply trying to

  last season with the injury. Take us back to camp and before

  the suspension started, what you saw from him returning from that

  there's no guarantee he would have been ready to go maybe at

  the start of the season. I mean, there's a lot of kind of

  factors here health wise also kind of take us into that part

  of Rashi Rice. Yeah, I, I, I think he would

  have been able to start week 1, I mean.

  He, he, he, he was. He's.

  Listen, he's kind of like Tyree Kill.

  He's a workout warrior and I mean, he he got in the pool

  right away after the surgery started to start his rehab.

  You know, spend all that time knowing he's got the suspension

  hanging over him and you know what, he could have gone, you

  know, he could have struggled or he could have let that weigh on

  him, but he didn't let it bother him.

  You know, he knew he was getting suspended.

  He didn't know how long, but he came to OTAs and mini camps and

  it was pretty good shape and training camp.

  He was full go. I mean, he got pretty good and a

  good number of snaps in the preseason, a lot of practice

  reps and I think I think he would have been ready to go.

  I think that probably if they had him in the beginning season.

  I'm thinking that's probably one more one more one of those

  losses probably turns into a win.

  That's how valuable he is. I mean, let's let's not mistake

  it. He is their best wide receiver

  next. You know, he is their best

  offensive threat. He is he is P impact from homes

  have a chemistry that's that's special to watch getting him

  back in weeks what we week 7. It's just incredible for this

  team and the fact they haven't had any really serious long term

  injuries so far. The position outside of Xavier

  worthy missing a couple games. I mean I'm I'm excited to see

  him play. I know he's ready.

  He's popping in the locker room. This wide receiver group is

  tight nipped and they're all going to be playing for each

  other. As well if if the Chiefs are the

  best team in the AFC, and I believe they are, who's the

  second best Nick? Boy, that's a really good

  really want to put the check box near the Indianapolis Colt.

  look at Lou Amarano coming over from the Bengals now, that looks

  like one of the greatest hires ever.

  Now, their schedule has been, let's be honest, it's not been

  the most difficult schedule. But they go to the Chargers this

  weekend in Los Angeles. So we're going to find out a lot

  about them. But again, the Chargers are kind

  of walking wounded. I would have to say in the AFC,

  I would say the Colts probably have the best.

  Throw some love to your team. If offense can can pick it up

  without defense, it's still the best defense in the NFL and it's

  You know, I I think they're A-Team to fear.

  They don't have a very difficult schedule going forward, but they

  still have a couple of tough match ups.
