- 0:27Speaker 2: well done.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Thank you for that.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Thanks appreciated.
- 0:30Speaker 2: I heard that on the radio and I thought, oh yeah,
- 0:32Speaker 2: and I've got to grab that for YOE on Tuesday. Elliott,
- 0:36Speaker 2: it wasn't I don't know, some bloke on one of
- 0:38Speaker 2: the other radio stations.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Yeah, we've just taken potshots at players now, Yeah, they are.
- 0:44Speaker 1: They've got a lot of time to feel because they've
- 0:46Speaker 1: got no pictures. Now.
- 0:49Speaker 3: The Eagles were beaten by the Giants, That's true.
- 0:53Speaker 1: That's what they've got it. They feel they've got to
- 0:54Speaker 1: talk and talking to her.
- 0:55Speaker 3: That's why I feel like Kelly Underwood, She's just like
- 0:58Speaker 3: just let us watch yes for a minute.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Anyway, Tuesday morning, have you noticed police it does not
- 1:09Speaker 2: hold back?
- 1:11Speaker 1: Giant unchanged.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Let's go what else?
- 1:14Speaker 1: What else we got? Come on? The Giants?
- 1:16Speaker 3: One hundred and eleven to fifty seven. It's been a
- 1:22Speaker 3: mixed bag this year. There has been a lot of
- 1:25Speaker 3: talk about how much improvement and light at the end
- 1:28Speaker 3: of the tunnel there is, and then then also there
- 1:30Speaker 3: comes the disappointment of quite a few losses in the
- 1:34Speaker 3: trust just what could have been.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, disappointing, very disappointing. I thought that we, you know,
- 1:42Speaker 4: it was a winnable game as well. The first quarter
- 1:44Speaker 4: we actually played really good football, so and then after
- 1:46Speaker 4: that we just couldn't control that ball movement and couldn't
- 1:49Speaker 4: defend behind it, and then didn't capitalize as well when
- 1:52Speaker 4: we had our opportunity. So culbination of a variety of
- 1:56Speaker 4: different things just wasn't just one thing, which is yeah, yeah, I.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Mean, obviously I didn't see the game. I heard much
- 2:02Speaker 2: of the game on the radio, and one of the
- 2:04Speaker 2: comments that was coming through was Eagles second of the ball.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, a lot of that.
- 2:09Speaker 4: Yeah. First quarter were actually going pretty well, I think,
- 2:13Speaker 4: and that yeah yeah, and then from that point on
- 2:15Speaker 4: we just couldn't get our hands on it, and then
- 2:17Speaker 4: they were just way too sharp. And then from that
- 2:19Speaker 4: point we're just chasing pretty much. And then we just
- 2:22Speaker 4: couldn't get it back, and then when we did, we
- 2:23Speaker 4: just didn't have enough energy and offense. So yeah, that
- 2:27Speaker 4: kind of SAPs you a bit.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Were they on a nine goal run at one stage?
- 2:31Speaker 3: I mean, it's got to be hard to ram that in.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I can't remember if incredibentally, it just gets Was
- 2:39Speaker 4: it a nine goal run because we missed skulls? Yeah?
- 2:42Speaker 2: I mean so that it's like, so it wasn't it
- 2:44Speaker 2: wasn't the scoring, Yeah.
- 2:46Speaker 4: And I think I think halfway through I think, you know, yeah,
- 2:49Speaker 4: I think halfway through the second like we were even
- 2:53Speaker 4: I think in a lot of the KPIs for both teams,
- 2:55Speaker 4: and then they just went wushgu So yeah, I memb.
- 2:58Speaker 4: I've spoken about moment and throughout majority of the year
- 3:02Speaker 4: as well in games, and sometimes it is hard to
- 3:04Speaker 4: stop and rest of that momentum from other teams in opposition,
- 3:07Speaker 4: and sometimes when you do get it yourself, you want
- 3:09Speaker 4: to try and capitalize it as much as you can.
- 3:11Speaker 4: So yeah, we're still trying to find the balance. But yeah, yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 4: it's it wasn't our best performance, and yeah it's disappointing, frustrating,
- 3:20Speaker 4: and yeah, we need to get better and we need
- 3:23Speaker 4: to continue to get better and work hard and hopefully
- 3:27Speaker 4: rectify that this week and finish off.
- 3:29Speaker 1: There were genuine positives, you know what I mean.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Jim Kelly was very good, Harley Reid had another strong game,
- 3:33Speaker 3: Tom Call, Jack Graham, Tom McCarthy all had the moments.
- 3:36Speaker 3: So yeah, there is there are plenty of positives.
- 3:39Speaker 2: What does the what does the coach say behind because
- 3:42Speaker 2: obviously you know you're heading into basically last home and
- 3:45Speaker 2: way round. You know, how does the coach get you
- 3:49Speaker 2: up and about for that? For that last what's what's
- 3:53Speaker 2: mcwulda been saying?
- 3:54Speaker 4: Well, we're in today, so I'll find out.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Yeah, because he's been quite positive, Yeah, in the media sense,
- 4:02Speaker 3: more so than a lot of coaches would be.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Yeah, well yeah he has, and a lot of that
- 4:06Speaker 4: is off the back of you know, there'd be stages
- 4:09Speaker 4: in games that we just couldn't close out, or would
- 4:10Speaker 4: be in games of football and we could win it
- 4:12Speaker 4: and you know, would be our most enemy. So yeah,
- 4:16Speaker 4: I guess you try and find the positives and try
- 4:18Speaker 4: to continue to grow that confidence that we've shown that
- 4:24Speaker 4: we can stick it up to the best teams and
- 4:26Speaker 4: we can stay within games of football it's just a
- 4:28Speaker 4: matter of how can we find ways in one capitalizing
- 4:33Speaker 4: making the most of our opportunities and you know, winning
- 4:36Speaker 4: games of football.
- 4:37Speaker 2: That's almost like you're halfway.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Two ways of looking at this final game on Sunday.
- 4:41Speaker 3: It could have done without the drama of playing.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Hawthorne, who are.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Coming off this draw a game with Collingwood where now
- 4:49Speaker 3: they absolutely have.
- 4:50Speaker 1: To win, or well I think in the you.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Know, the drama is going to be a fantastic way
- 4:55Speaker 3: to wrap things up and challenge accepted.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Yeah. Absolutely, I mean got us twenty nineteen I think
- 5:03Speaker 4: it was, and they made us finish fifth. So it'd
- 5:05Speaker 4: be nice to kind of just do something similar.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I think the term is stick it up them.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, So it's any incentive will do yeah.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Correct, Look, that'd be fun, that'd be interesting as well. Well, look,
- 5:21Speaker 4: it's going to be a tough game and we need
- 5:23Speaker 4: and we need to play four quarters of football and
- 5:25Speaker 4: we need to improve very very quickly on the performance
- 5:28Speaker 4: that we did last week.
- 5:29Speaker 2: So and Eagles fans as many as possible need to
- 5:32Speaker 2: be flooding in there to get behind you guys.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Absolutely, any help that we can get, any help that
- 5:37Speaker 4: we can get especially from the fans, and the crowd
- 5:40Speaker 4: plays a part, play a massive part. And our fans
- 5:43Speaker 4: are fantastic and they continue to show up. And it
- 5:45Speaker 4: has been some lean, lean years, but they just continue
- 5:48Speaker 4: to rock up and show the support and we individually,
- 5:51Speaker 4: I just can't thank them enough for what they are
- 5:54Speaker 4: able to do for us and the football club. And
- 5:57Speaker 4: I can't thank them enough.
- 5:58Speaker 1: And when you just remind us on their jumpers look
- 6:01Speaker 1: like baby poop.
- 6:02Speaker 2: So that's just smething long line exactly.
- 6:07Speaker 3: That's five twenty Sunday in Octa. Hawthorn are over here
- 6:12Speaker 3: to play West Coast.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Hold you, she had, I know, Mark, thank you, I
- 6:17Speaker 2: have a great guy. Absolutely, here we go. That's round
- 6:21Speaker 2: twenty twenty six on a high anymore less unlike that
