• 1:52
Pay who sponsored Ron's basement here for the last year to keep
• 1:57
up our our legendary live streams.
• 1:59
OK, he says this. I think it's worth reading from
• 2:02
a wild idea to a global community.
• 2:04
From honesty and transparency to a Unicorn on the biggest screen
• 2:09
in the world, Times Square in New York City.
• 2:12
This is what happens when builders build holders believe
• 2:16
in a community shows up every single day calling all UFD
• 2:21
holders and friends. If you're in Times Square today
• 2:26
Friday December 19th passing through take a photo shoot
• 2:29
videos share them on X OK we super appreciate it Let's go out
• 2:34
and take a look at this post from our friend crypto paladin
• 2:38
Paladin Dusty is making his New York City debut in Times Square
• 2:43
today Friday December 19th. We are live as I understand it
• 2:47
right now. The video featuring Dusty and
• 2:50
Basement Ron and our sponsors Moon Pay and Ledger will be
• 2:54
playing every 10 minutes for 24 hours.

• 3:10
I don't know if this is the video if it'll play.
• 3:13
Nope. OK, so I want to play you guys
• 3:15
the video because this is so exciting.
• 3:18
Hold on here, let me get this pulled up for you.
• 3:22
OK? This is what is playing right
• 3:25
now in New York City. We're going to watch it twice
• 3:29
because it's only 15 seconds long.
• 3:47
There we go. OK, guys, that's what we can
• 4:05
accomplish as a community. That and a whole, whole lot
• 4:10
  more. Can you believe, right?
• 4:11
We are on a billboard in New York City, in Times Square.
• 4:15
That's a big deal. We have our own IP, right?
• 4:19
We have our dusty character. We've got our name, right?
• 4:23
That's legally being registered with the United States Patent
• 4:27
and Trade Office all of these things are coming together it
• 4:31
puts us in a very elite class when it comes to cryptocurrency
• 4:35
meme coin projects. Most importantly, what we have
• 4:40
is the example you have set our community day in and day out as
• 4:45
a beacon of hope, right as a, as a, as a place where people can
• 4:49
come in the crypto meme coin sector and feel safe and secure.
• 4:55
And don't forget, right, the big advantage that we're going to
• 4:58
have moving forward that is more and more people come into
• 5:02
crypto, they're going to be looking for simple, easy to
• 5:06
understand, right, powerfully simple projects where they can
• 5:10
feel safe and reliable. And, and when they come and they
• 5:14
meet you, when they meet me, when they meet the people behind
• 5:18
the Unicorn fart dust project, you know they're going to like
• 5:21
what they see. I'm super optimistic about the
• 5:23
future. Here's what I feel here.
• 5:26
Let's get pumped up, Dusters. Hold on here.
• 5:29
Here we go. Here's a great post from our
• 5:32
friend, just a guy that came out yesterday.
• 5:35
This is a 77 second video, but I think kind of sums up how a lot
• 5:40
of us are feeling right now. Yeah, look at that herd of our
• 5:49
new IP Unicorn. Let's go horns up, horns up,
• 5:57
dusters. This, this what what would we
• 6:03
listen to a guy would we want to do You think it's smart to
• 6:07
listen to a guy who's been in crypto for nine years, who's
• 6:10
been in and out of a lot of different crypto projects and
• 6:13
listen to what he has to say about Unicorn fart dust.
• 6:16
Let's see what this tells us right here.
• 6:20
This came from our friend the madman.
• 6:23
He said I buy UFD as an investment in the talent and
• 6:27
dedication eyewitness on the timeline on a daily basis.
• 6:32
That would be you, OK, The coin got me here.
• 6:36
The friendships I've built keep me here.
• 6:39
This is the important part In my 9 years of buying and selling
• 6:44
crypto, I've never seen anything else like it.
• 6:48
A true Unicorn in every sense. And there you have it, right?
• 6:53
There's our new IP. Beautiful, right?
• 6:56
Niru did a great job on the image gimmicks did a great job.
• 7:00
Look at that lettering. I mean, how cool is this, right?
• 7:04
And that, and that's those are powerful words from someone
• 7:08
who's been in crypto for nine years.
• 7:10
You don't know how many times I got the message either.
• 7:13
DMS, emails, I heard it verbally talking with people that I've
• 7:18
interviewed and talked to you on video calls, people saying I was
• 7:21
ready to give up on crypto. OK.
• 7:24
And then I found Unicorn fart dust.
• 7:26
And I found something that's special and unique, something I
• 7:30
can trust, something I can believe in.
• 7:32
Guys, what we have here, like the madman just said, is an
• 7:36
absolute Unicorn in the the crypto space.
• 7:40
OK, Oh here we got the Susie breaking 2 minutes before I was
• 7:46
supposed to go live. Susie upstairs.
• 7:49
Susie sent this to me and it's awesome.
• 7:53
So I was able to get it loaded up here.
• 7:55
I want to share this with you. This comes from J Dub.
• 7:58
It's a great little video. He says things escalate quickly.
• 8:02
Think about safety before he's talking about securing and
• 8:06
crypto security. Made an awesome video featuring
• 8:10
our channel sponsor Ledger. Secure your beans with Ledger
• 8:13
and sprinkle some magic with UFD Unicorn fart dust.
• 8:17
Let's take a look right now. Hold on, get this on full screen
• 8:21
for you and here we go. Make a deposit little sugar for
• 8:27
their day deposit Jelly Bean please.
• 8:31
Incoming. I want to like at your bank.
• 8:33
Whoa, it's not slowing down. Think about safety before
• 8:42
something happens. Unicorn fart dust secured with
• 8:45
Ledger. And there's the new IP.
• 8:47
Really, really awesome. We'll watch the beginning one
• 8:50
more time. All right, let's make a deposit.
• 8:52
Little sugar for their day deposit of Jelly beans please.
• 8:56
  Whoa. Incoming.
• 9:01
  I love it. Whoa.
• 9:02
  It's not slowing down. OK.
• 9:06
And guys, look, I haven't given this speech for a while, but it
• 9:09
is true, right? You know, I got hacked back in
• 9:12
January. I think it was January 28th and
• 9:15
I thought it would never happen to me, right.
• 9:18
I thought, you know, I'm careful with things all that I did not
• 9:22
have my crypto secured with a Ledger and in subsequent to
• 9:30
that, right, You know the whole story.
• 9:31
Now I do have my my crypto secured with Ledger.
• 9:35
I love it. I love the Ledger live app.
• 9:37
On top of that, the Ledger signer devices right the the
• 9:41
Ledger flex, the new Ledger nano Gen. 5 are awesome.
• 9:44
They're super cool. They remind me of little iPhones
• 9:47
and I'm an Android guy, but I love them.
• 9:50
I mean, if they're just their their design, everything about
• 9:53
them, but most importantly, they're secure.
• 9:56
And when you couple them with the new Ledger wallet app, like
• 9:59
you can do everything that you need to do with crypto all in
• 10:03
one place, all in the safe, secure and proven Ledger
• 10:08
environment. OK, let's go to the next one,
• 10:10
bubble maps. Bubble maps look, let's be real,
• 10:15
it's been a difficult little period of time in the crypto
• 10:19
world. Big Cassie put this out
• 10:21
yesterday. He says perfect timing for a
• 10:23
Christmas update, just in time for the Santa rally super cycle.
• 10:27
OK, the next rally, these levels and below are where you start to
• 10:31
load up. Be sure to pick coins that will
• 10:33
stand the test of time. But what I found interesting on
• 10:36
this, right, there's been some really, really difficult down
• 10:42
downturns in some of the coins. I was looking even the Trump
• 10:46
coin down pretty much 30%. But UFD, we're not in the red
• 10:51
zone. We are in the yellow zone.
• 10:53
And hey, you know, given what's going on right now, I guess
• 10:56
we'll take that. This is one month and right now
• 10:59
over the last month, UF DS been down 20% unfortunately.
• 11:03
And there's some other great communities out there.
• 11:05
I'm not, you know, we're grateful to be where we are.
• 11:09
But yeah, I mean, you look at some of these coins at the hype
• 11:12
coin down 40%, MOG is down 40%, Arrow, I don't know a lot of
• 11:18
these down 44%. So Pepe down 24%, Bitcoin even
• 11:26
made the list. I think it's down like 8%.
• 11:28
So you know, look, we have been building and continuing to build
• 11:34
and I think that our kind of, I don't want to say over
• 11:37
performance, but relative performance because what's going
• 11:41
on in a lot of the crypto space is pretty good.
• 11:44
And that's because of you. It's because of this community,
• 11:47
it's because of the foundation that we are building on a day
• 11:51
in, day out base. Let's take a look at this one
• 11:54
  here next. This is great.
• 11:56
This is UFD in action. This came from Gojo Satoro says
• 12:01
  happy birthday UFDHTX global basement.
• 12:04
Ron, this is my creativity. With my creativity, I made UFD
• 12:10
pancakes. I hope you like it.
• 12:12
I don't know if you saw this, there's the UFD pancake, but
• 12:15
check this out. Oh, you can make the intake
• 12:24
heart wait for you, feel it, flip them over.
• 12:37
Isn't that cool? Check that out.
• 12:43
I mean that is really, really cool.
• 12:46
Hold on, let's go back over here there and again, there's the
• 12:49
  finished product. Wow, man.
• 12:51
There are some artistic, creative and incredible people
• 12:55
in the UFD community. Let's do a, let's do a very,
• 13:00
very quick recap on what is going on right now in the
• 13:04
overall crypto market because guys, look, we build, we build,
• 13:09
we build, but we are operating within the overall crypto
• 13:12
market. I'm a firm believer that is this
• 13:15
community, as we get more and more diamond hooved dusters,
• 13:19
which the statistics show has been happening, right, more and
• 13:23
more people are buying UFD, holding UFD, which is unique in
• 13:29
the world of crypto and very unique within the world of
• 13:32
cryptocurrency meme coins, right, where people typically
• 13:35
trade on a very fast basis. We buy, we hold and we continue
• 13:40
to build, OK, even within a overall crypto market that has
• 13:45
been extremely challenging, OK, there's no way around it.
• 13:49
And with what happened last night in Japan, which we're
• 13:52
going to talk about here in a second, you know, things are,
• 13:56
things are things are challenged right now in the overall crypto
• 14:00
market that crypto's not going anywhere.
• 14:03
I'm a firm believer that in five years, 10 years, we're going to
• 14:06
have crypto adoption rates that are going to be absolutely
• 14:09
incredible. And a big part of making that
• 14:12
happen is our channel sponsor, Moon Pay as well, right?
• 14:15
The entry door into crypto for millions I mean millions, 10s of
• 14:20
1,000,000 / 35 million people last I checked right people that
• 14:24
are coming into crypto for the first time like I did my first
• 14:28
crypto transaction was with Moon Pay safe, secure, right?
• 14:32
Bringing more and more people in in every week right?
• 14:36
They are innovating, they are growing, they truly are the
• 14:39
fintech leader and it's a big honor, right?
• 14:42
The Ron's basement gets to be associated with such a high
• 14:46
quality company. When these new people get into
• 14:49
crypto, right, they're going to want companies, they're going to
• 14:52
want to do it like I did, right? One year and three days ago
• 14:57
with, with a company they can trust, with a company that's
• 14:59
proven and provides excellent service, right?
• 15:03
So it's a big value add what our friends at Moon Pay are doing
• 15:07
for the overall crypto market and overall crypto adoption.
• 15:11
Let's go get this quick update on what's going on.
• 15:13
You ready for the bad news? No, you know what the silver
• 15:19
lining, of course, is what's going on in our community right
• 15:23
now. This comes from the CMC coin
• 15:25
market Cap Market Pulse. We'll skip that first paragraph
• 15:29
the next one, right? The market overview.
• 15:34
Bitcoin ended the week down 5%, while Ethereum underperformed,
• 15:41
excuse me, falling 9% in the same period.
• 15:45
Total crypto market cap fell almost 7% to close the week
• 15:50
under $3 trillion, down from 3.14 in the prior week.
• 15:56
So look guys, here's the look that those are the facts that's
• 16:00
what's going on OK, The good thing is the great thing is is
• 16:05
that great communities, great projects, great accomplishments.
• 16:09
This is true across a broad spectrum of areas, not just
• 16:13
crypto. Greatness is, is is achieved
• 16:17
during difficult circumstances. Look, it's not always going to
• 16:21
be a green bull market, right? I mean, in order to have a bull
• 16:24
market, you got to have a bear market.
• 16:27
Otherwise it would just be whatever a market, right?
• 16:31
So when these bear markets happen, the great thing is, is
• 16:35
it gives good opportunity, good, great opportunities for great
• 16:39
communities to forge, to grow stronger, to build and build and
• 16:44
build, to prove that you aren't going anywhere.
• 16:47
We aren't going anywhere. We are here to stay this
• 16:51
community, right? Look, Unicorn Fart Dust is not
• 16:54
all about me. Unicorn Fart Dust is all about
• 16:58
you, the community. This is the opportunity that
• 17:01
people want. People in the, in the real
• 17:03
world, all over the world are struggling, okay?
• 17:07
Especially younger people. I'm 55, right?
• 17:10
I had it easy and it wasn't so easy when I was young.
• 17:13
But a young person now in their 20s or 30's, the statistics
• 17:17
show, right? It's almost impossible for them
• 17:19
to buy a house right? Debt levels are at all time
• 17:23
  highs. The tranfi system right?
• 17:26
It's kind of been slanted against the the average person
• 17:29
unless you were born and privileged circumstances, which
• 17:33
most people aren't, right? So if you weren't, you're not
• 17:36
alone. If you were, well, good for you.
• 17:38
But most people out there are struggling.
• 17:41
That's the reality in the system.
• 17:43
A lot of people feel is kind of slanted against them to a
• 17:46
certain degree, right? People want just a fair
• 17:49
opportunity. They're not asking for an
• 17:51
advantage. They're not asking to cheat or
• 17:54
anything like that. They just want a fair shot.
• 17:56
They want a fair transparent opportunity.
• 17:59
And that's what you created with Unicorn fart dust, what I
• 18:04
spawned, yes, technically I'm the boomer dev.
• 18:07
It was an experiment, right? Go back and watch my first live
• 18:11
streams. I was like, hey, I created a
• 18:12
meme coin, don't buy it, right? The community proved to crypto.
• 18:19
The community proved to me that there is big value in people
• 18:24
coming together. There is big value in crypto
• 18:28
that can be created when people join together with the with the
• 18:32
miracle of this technology. Trust me guys, 25 years ago,
• 18:37
maybe you're only 25 years old. 25 years ago when I was 30, Oh
• 18:43
my gosh, heck, 253035 years ago when I was 20, this idea that
• 18:52
you could be talking with people all over the world, creating
• 18:55
communities. With Web three, you have the
• 18:58
gift of technology, the gift of Web 3, and then on top of that,
• 19:03
the cherry on top, which is the gift of crypto, the gift of the
• 19:07
blockchain, where those three things, right, Working together
• 19:12
in a coordinated effort, our ability to communicate like
• 19:15
never before in the history of the world.
• 19:18
You can live stream. Yeah, you can do it too.
• 19:22
OK, The ability of Web 3 to to to, to to form bonds like never
• 19:28
before. And then this gift of the
• 19:30
blockchain, right, where a real value can be assigned to to that
• 19:38
community that's being built. There is value in community.
• 19:43
OK, look at the I'm Catholic, so I'll use the OR I grew up in a
• 19:48
Catholic neighborhood, you know, look at the Catholic churches
• 19:52
there value there. Look at any church.
• 19:53
Look at any look at the Lions Club.
• 19:56
Look at the Kiwanis Club. I think there's a Kiwanis Club.
• 19:59
Look at the look at any group right that comes is there.
• 20:02
Look at the United States. Look at countries, look at me.
• 20:06
Yes, there's value in community, no doubt.
• 20:09
Family, OK, We like to refer to UFD.
• 20:12
  We aren't a cult. We're a family.
• 20:16
And trust me, just like families, we get everything
• 20:20
going on in this in this family, OK?
• 20:23
Is there value in family? That's what most people say is
• 20:27
the most valuable thing to them in their world.
• 20:29
I'm not saying to replace the UFD family or replace your
• 20:33
family with the UFD family, no, right, But we are a family.
• 20:36
We're AI don't know a superset of the normal family.
• 20:40
It is very exciting. There is real value in it.
• 20:43
Before I forget, we're going to go from that to talking about
• 20:46
Japan and interest rates. How do you feel about that?
• 20:49
There's a big deal going on right now in the financial
• 20:52
world. Just to bring you up to speed
• 20:54
and I'll explain to you why this is important.
• 20:57
But last night the Bank of Japan raised hold on.
• 21:01
Do I have it up? Yes, I do.
• 21:03
Yep. The Bank of Japan from CNBC
• 21:06
raised benchmark rates to the highest level in 30 years.
• 21:12
We just talked about 30 years ago.
• 21:14
Anyway, lifting 10 year JGB yields past 2%.
• 21:19
That's their 10 year bond. OK.
• 21:22
The yield on the 10 year Japanese government bond
• 21:25
breached the 2% mark for the first time since 1999.
• 21:29
The Bank of Japan real interest rates are expected to remain
• 21:33
significantly negative. Do you know what that means?
• 21:37
I'll teach you real quickly. Real interest rates, OK, And
• 21:42
then I'll tell you why this is important because of the
• 21:44
Japanese carry trade, which is a fancy term thrown around in the
• 21:49
tradfy world. But real interest rates, OK,
• 21:52
That means what are you really making on your money?
• 21:55
To calculate the real interest rate, you take the current
• 21:59
interest rate. So let's say, and the current
• 22:02
interest rate like in the United States is what, 2 and three
• 22:05
quarters 3%, you go to the bank or you put your money in a money
• 22:08
market account, you're going to earn 3 percent, 4%.
• 22:12
That's the prevailing interest rate, OK.
• 22:14
You take that and you subtract from that the inflation rate,
• 22:19
OK? So if you're making 3% on your
• 22:22
money, but let's say the inflation rate is 7%, you take
• 22:27
  3. That's what you're earning, and
• 22:29
you subtract 7 because that's the inflation rate.
• 22:33
And you get -4 that's what they mean by negative real.
• 22:37
That's the real interest rate. The nominal interest rate is
• 22:41
  that 3%. OK.
• 22:43
But you need to subtract what you're losing to inflation to
• 22:47
get the real interest rate. A lot of people don't understand
• 22:50
that it's actually a very simple concept to get and, and if and
• 22:56
if, as an example, right, if you want positive real interest
• 23:00
rates, that would mean if you could go to your bank or you
• 23:04
could go to Fidelity Investments or whatever, and you could earn,
• 23:09
let's say 6% on your money, which you can't right now, but
• 23:12
for example, purposes will say you earn 6% and inflation's only
• 23:17
  2%. OK.
• 23:18
So then you would take the 6% that you're earning and subtract
• 23:23
the 2% that you're losing to inflation, but you still have a
• 23:27
positive real interest rate. In that scenario of 4%, meaning
• 23:32
you're you're you're beating inflation with negative real
• 23:36
interest rates, You're not beating inflation even though if
• 23:39
you had $100,000 to start the year and at the end of the year
• 23:43
you have 103,000 because you made 3%.
• 23:47
If you're losing 7% to inflation, you're actually lost
• 23:51
  in real terms, $4000. OK.
• 23:54
Oh yeah. Why is it a big deal?
• 23:56
Why are the Japanese? Because there's this thing
• 23:58
called the Japanese carry trade that went on for decades and
• 24:02
decades. People would borrow money in
• 24:05
Japanese yen because the rates were so low, like 0% for years
• 24:10
and years and years, and then use that money, which was for
• 24:14
all intents and purposes free money and buy something else,
• 24:18
maybe buy US bonds invested in the market, whatever and make
• 24:22
and then whatever, whatever they made off those investments would
• 24:26
be profit. Now the Japanese interest rates
• 24:29
are going up. It's unwinding that.
• 24:32
OK, And that affects crypto as well.
• 24:34
A lot of people are saying that's why crypto, Bitcoin,
• 24:37
other, other and, and but across the whole investment sphere
• 24:41
could be very challenged in this environment because when the
• 24:44
Japanese yen carry trade goes away, right?
• 24:47
That's less liquidity in the market where people are
• 24:50
  investing into things like Bitcoin.
• 24:52
And I've heard that brought up several times.
• 24:54
So we got to keep an eye on what's going on with Japan.
• 24:58
Most importantly, this is our big week one year birthday for
• 25:03
Unicorn Bart Dust, our new intellectual property.
• 25:07
This is ours. We own it.
• 25:09
We are in an elite class of cryptocurrency meme coin
• 25:13
projects that have lasted a year.
• 25:15
  Think about that. Check, right?
• 25:17
And that have their own IP. OK, There's not I literally a
• 25:24
handful out there. And on top of that, for those of
• 25:27
you that are just joining us, today is a big day for UFD.
• 25:31
We are in the Big Apple, New York City Times Square right
• 25:36
now, right? We have a billboard in Times
• 25:39
Square. Think about those 3, three
• 25:40
things. One year we've lasted #2 we have
• 25:44
our own IP #3 right now we are in New York City, Times Square
• 25:49
on a billboard. And the most important thing is
• 25:52
  you. We have you.
• 25:54
We have a community, right, that has forged itself over the last
• 25:58
year. Highest quality people that I've
• 26:01
met in my life, OK? We've got some incredible,
• 26:04
incredible people that are in this community.
• 26:08
And they're not just in Saint Louis or the United States.
• 26:12
They're all over the world, OK? This is a worldwide project, a
• 26:17
worldwide movement that we are working on.
• 26:20
It's ours. We've staked our claim right on
• 26:24
the blockchain in the world of crypto.
• 26:27
We have digital scarcity because you know what, right?
• 26:31
We can't. We can't print, we can't make,
• 26:34
we can't fart. We can't make, create, whatever
• 26:37
any more UFD beans. There's 999 million of them out
• 26:42
there, period. Most importantly, with digital
• 26:45
scarcity, we have our one project, Unicorn Fart Dust,
• 26:49
right? It's the only project I've ever
• 26:51
in any way, shape or form affiliated myself with is our
• 26:56
project. We've got some great NFT
• 26:57
projects, no doubt, and I'll support those, right?
• 27:01
They bring new people into our ecosystem.
• 27:04
But most importantly, the biggest piece of scarcity that
• 27:08
we have there, one of the our biggest unique quality is you,
• 27:12
right? Yeah, we have the community, but
• 27:16
without you, we don't have a community.
• 27:18
The community is made-up of me, you and us together, right?
• 27:24
Each and everyone of you is a critical part of what we are
• 27:27
doing and will remain a critical part.
• 27:29
Thank you for joining me. OK, guys, let's go out there.
• 27:32
Let's celebrate. I can't wait to see the videos
• 27:35
and the posts from our big day in New York City.
• 27:38
I want you to have a great day. Don't forget.
• 27:40
Be good to yourself, OK? It's OK.
• 27:43
Treat yourself well, the best you can.
• 27:45
That'll give you a platform from which you can be good to other
• 27:48
people. Take care and I'll see you.
• 27:51
  Yes, you soon.
