  So we went up to the Great Escape Lodge. It's a indoor water park

  From there, we were going to go to uh North Pole, New York,
• 5:35
  where there's a Christmas themed amusement park set up to look like the North
• 5:42
  Pole. And sanis Oh, yeah, kids are super excited. Any songs

  yeah, oh, there was plenty of baby Shark. Yeah, we say.

  Anyway, we checked to the hotel at about seven thirty and we headed

  to the water park and my daughter splashed around for about twenty minutes and she

  said, I don't feel good. I want to go back to my hotel.

  So my wife took her up to the room. I took my son

  around the Lazy River about three times. We went upstairs to check on Mom
• 6:19
  and Jamie and my daughter was puking all over the bathroom and yeah, and

  then she spent the evening curled up in a ball in the bed with my
• 6:30
  wife. She wouldn't let my wife. She wouldn't let my wife off the
• 6:33
  bed, so I had to go get dinner and like feed it to my
• 6:36
  wife. She's in bed with my daughter. And the next morning she still
• 6:42
  didn't feel well. So we cut the whole thing short and just glamour and
• 6:47
  just came home. It was terrible. It was terrible. Five hundred bucks

  right down the crapper, A weekend wasted, the kids disappointed, the daughter
• 6:58
  was sick. It wasn't good. It wasn't good at all. But but

  because I'm like, this is fun, but I feel like it's missing something.

  talk about a little bit about the Star Trek toys. Yeah, I was.

  I was kind of disappointed that I missed out on that topic, you

  of an agreement with a lot of people that you know, I read a

  bunch of comments about the whole thing, and I mean nobody was buying those

  things, so if you're not buying them, they're not going to keep making

  them. I feel like they missed an opportunity the to they just they just

  redid stuff that they did thirty years ago instead of instead of filling in some

  gaps uh from that toy line, you know there that was a very long

  and successful toy line for them, the five inch uh Playmate's Star Trek line.

  But there's a lot there's a lot of stuff missing. Yeah, there's

  a lot of stuff that they never did. There's only there's only two Cardassians

  in that whole line yet, Ducott and Garrick. You know, they missed

  an opportunity to give us uh you know tomar. They never did a Tomar.

  They never did a way um, they never did with who was that

  those little warped little warpednic in it. They also missed an opportunity in that

  So you know, they missed an opportunity to put out a borg figure that

  has different arms and different legs and different heads that you can swip swap,

  where you know you can buy six borg figures that look exactly the same in

  the package, but once you start swapping the pieces around, it looks like

  an actual collective of different characters. You know, same thing with you know,

  with Klingons. I own a bunch of Klingons just because I want to.

  to each other. You know what's scarier than a Klingon? You want to

  just today from the Hollywood Reporter, and apparently there might be a for sale

  sign on Paramount, So this could be big ramifications for Star Trek. So

  essentially what's going on, it's there is a family that owns the controlling voting
• 12:33
  interest in Paramount, and that family apparently is starting to look for offers to
• 12:39
  sell their voting interest in Paramount, which is essentially sell Paramount right because you
• 12:45
  would be in control. So what the the thought is is once it gets
• 12:52
  sold to a new buyer, what's going to happen to Paramount? Then?

  Right, we'll continue to trug along. Will somebody sell it for parts and
• 13:01
  sell it, you know, pieces to other studios? We really haven't seen
• 13:07
  that where a studio gets ripped apart and they sell the franchises to different companies.

  It's more or less other companies have been buying the whole studio, much
• 13:16
  like when Disney bought Fox right, they didn't had to piecemeal and buy Alien
• 13:22
  and Predator and all those other franchises. They were just they bought them,
• 13:26
  all right. That's the value of the studio. So I guess we'll see

  what's going to happen. This is very early stages for this to be happening.

  It's just the start, but we could see Star Trek having a new

  home maybe by the end of the year, by the end of twenty twenty

  four. So what's what's the price tag? What are we looking at here?

  We don't see a price tag yet, So no, I know what

  disaster, so hopefully they keep it would be nice if they kept everything under

  one umbrella, you know, take all or nothing. But even Paramount didn't

  do that. No, that's why it's a concern. Yeah, but I

  mean you could see a whole new you know, showrunners for these shows or

  or a new you know, top if someone else buys them, right,

  Like, let's say, you know, the one everyone talks about is Disney.

  service has different show runners that are good and different, you know. I

  mean Amazon's done some great shows, like you were just talking about Invincible and

  Amazon does the Boys, right, and also Reacher. I just watched season

  two, episode one a Reacher. That's a great show. So their action

  stuff is good. I think that what was that one John Krasinski did that

  that spy military Jack Ryan. I enjoyed that a couple of seasons of that

  one. It was pretty good. But but and that just shows they can

  do action. So can they do sci fi action, which Star Trek is

  sort of turning into a little bit Apple would do a little bit better because

  Apple has a pretty good history of sci fi shows, right. Well,

  Also, you were talking about last week about how a possible merger between Paramount

  Plus and Apple and how Apple was more geared towards the kind of higher end

  yeah TV shows, and that Paramount Plus was geared more towards like general audiences.

  Strange New Worlds has started shooting already. Yeah, they began earlier this week

  ninth, the Section thirty one movie will begin shooting. So okayet to shoot

  for five months and Section thirty one is expection to shoot. That's what Section

  it's just a few cells. But they think the more tissue they can get,
