• 2:16
Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you a story. The story of
• 2:19
Speaker 2: Santa and his reindeer. Once upon a time, in a
• 2:26
Speaker 2: cosy village nestled amongst snow-covered hills, in a land far,
• 2:31
Speaker 2: far away, there lived a jolly old man named Santa Claus.
• 2:37
Speaker 2: And he lived... in a wonderful old snow-covered cottage. And
• 2:42
Speaker 2: he would sit in his big comfy chair, toasting his
• 2:45
Speaker 2: toes in front of a roaring fire, with a cup
• 2:49
Speaker 2: of hot chocolate in one hand, and read his list
• 2:52
Speaker 2: of all the children he would deliver presents to on
• 2:55
Speaker 2: Christmas Eve in his other hand. Now Santa had a
• 3:00
Speaker 2: heart as warm as a crackling fireplace, and a smile
• 3:05
Speaker 2: that could light up the darkest night. And he was
• 3:08
Speaker 2: the kindest person anyone could ever wish to meet. And
• 3:14
Speaker 2: he lived with a beautiful herd of reindeer. They had
• 3:17
Speaker 2: their own very comfy stables where they lived too. And
• 3:22
Speaker 2: it was nice and warm and cosy for them. They
• 3:25
Speaker 2: were also very magical too. Just like Santa. The reindeer
• 3:31
Speaker 2: were the ones who helped him on his magical journeys.
• 3:36
Speaker 2: And every year As Christmas approached, Santa and his reindeer,
• 3:42
Speaker 2: prepared for this special mission of spreading kindness and happiness
• 3:47
Speaker 2: to children all around the world. The reindeer would have
• 3:51
Speaker 2: to do their daily exercises and keep fit routines because
• 3:54
Speaker 2: they knew they had a very long and very hard
• 3:57
Speaker 2: journey to do with Santa. Santa also had to do
• 4:01
Speaker 2: his keep fit too. He would stand in the snow,
• 4:04
Speaker 2: jumping up and down and waving his arms about madly.
• 4:07
Speaker 2: getting himself fit. And sometimes the reindeer would have a
• 4:12
Speaker 2: little giggle watching him, because he did look ever so
• 4:15
Speaker 2: funny bouncing up and down. Now Santa knew the names
• 4:20
Speaker 2: of every child in the whole wide world. He even
• 4:25
Speaker 2: knew what they looked like too. As each day passed,
• 4:31
Speaker 2: the reindeer, with their powerful hooves and magnificent antlers, eagerly
• 4:37
Speaker 2: waited for Santa's command, for they were getting itchy feet,
• 4:41
Speaker 2: or hooves in their case, to be on their way
• 4:45
Speaker 2: flying through the sky, soaring as high as the stars.
• 4:50
Speaker 2: But they waited until Santa was ready, and of course
• 4:54
Speaker 2: they had to wait for Christmas Eve too. The time
• 4:59
Speaker 2: had finally arrived, and it was Christmas Eve, and it
• 5:04
Speaker 2: was Very chilly winter's night and the snow was falling
• 5:07
Speaker 2: softly too. So Santa harnessed his reindeer to his magical sleigh,
• 5:13
Speaker 2: filled to the brim with beautifully wrapped presents. The reindeer,
• 5:19
Speaker 2: each with a name as unique as their personalities, eagerly
• 5:23
Speaker 2: awaited Santa's signal to take flight. With a twinkle in
• 5:29
Speaker 2: his eye, Santa called out, On Dasher! on Dancer, on
• 5:33
Speaker 2: Prancer and Vixen, on Comet, on Cupid, on Donna and Blitzen.
• 5:39
Speaker 2: And of course, let's not forget our special guide, Rudolph,
• 5:43
Speaker 2: with his shiny nose. The reindeer gallop through the night sky,
• 5:49
Speaker 2: the hooves gently touching the fluffy clouds, and Santa's sleigh
• 5:54
Speaker 2: soared from house to house, landing on rooftops with a
• 5:57
Speaker 2: soft thud. Santa, with his sack of presents, would slide
• 6:03
Speaker 2: down chimneys, leaving gifts behind. Gifts, joy and peace. In
• 6:09
Speaker 2: every home, Santa's presence filled the air with kindness and happiness.
• 6:18
Speaker 2: As the night went on, the snow started to fall
• 6:21
Speaker 2: harder and the wind began to pick up. And they
• 6:25
Speaker 2: were all getting tired and the sleigh was getting heavier
• 6:29
Speaker 2: with each stop they made. But they couldn't stop now.
• 6:32
Speaker 2: They had to deliver all of the presents to all
• 6:35
Speaker 2: of the children before sunrise. Finally, as the sun started
• 6:41
Speaker 2: to peak over the horizon, Santa and his reindeer made
• 6:46
Speaker 2: their final stop and delivered the last few presents. They
• 6:52
Speaker 2: were exhausted, but they felt so happy and so fulfilled
• 6:57
Speaker 2: knowing that they had made so many children happy. and
• 7:03
Speaker 2: the children would wake up to find their Christmas wishes granted,
• 7:08
Speaker 2: their faces glowing with excitement and gratitude. The reindeer, with
• 7:14
Speaker 2: their antlers adorned with jingling bells, watched with joy as
• 7:18
Speaker 2: the children's laughter echoed through the night. But Santa knew
• 7:23
Speaker 2: that Christmas was about more than just presents. It was
• 7:28
Speaker 2: a time to spread love and kindness to all, So
• 7:33
Speaker 2: alongside the gifts, he left notes encouraging the children to
• 7:38
Speaker 2: perform acts of kindness and to share their happiness with others.
• 7:43
Speaker 2: You see, he believed that a small act of kindness
• 7:48
Speaker 2: could light up a heart just like his sleigh lit
• 7:51
Speaker 2: up the night sky. After a long night of delivering presents,
• 7:59
Speaker 2: Santa and his reindeer began their journey back to their
• 8:03
Speaker 2: cosy village. And as they flew back to the North Pole,
• 8:08
Speaker 2: the snow started to slow down, and the stars started
• 8:13
Speaker 2: to fade away. But the memories of the happy, smiling children,
• 8:19
Speaker 2: the glittering stars, the lots and lots of presents, the gratefulness,
• 8:24
Speaker 2: and the snow and the snowflakes would stay with Santa
• 8:28
Speaker 2: and his reindeer forever. They reached their wonderful home in
• 8:35
Speaker 2: the mountains, surrounded with snow, and gathered around a warm fire,
• 8:41
Speaker 2: enjoying cocoa and laughter. Santa thanked his loyal reindeer for
• 8:47
Speaker 2: their hard work and their friendship, knowing that they were
• 8:51
Speaker 2: the true magic that made Christmas possible. As the village slept,
• 8:59
Speaker 2: Santa and his reindeer rested, their hearts filled with joy,
• 9:04
Speaker 2: they knew that their mission of spreading kindness and happiness
• 9:08
Speaker 2: had been accomplished. And as the snowflakes gently fell outside,
• 9:15
Speaker 2: Santa whispered to his reindeer, Every day can be like
• 9:20
Speaker 2: Christmas Day if we carry kindness in our hearts. And so,
• 9:26
Speaker 2: the legend of Santa Claus and his reindeer continued, reminding
• 9:32
Speaker 2: us all that the true magic of Christmas lies not
• 9:37
Speaker 2: only in the presents we receive, but in the kindness
• 9:40
Speaker 2: we share with others. But you know, you feel very peaceful,
• 9:48
Speaker 2: tucked up in your own bed, and it's time for
• 9:51
Speaker 2: you to sleep too, when you feel so very relaxed.
• 9:58
Speaker 2: And you just want to go to sleep and dream
• 10:00
Speaker 2: of your happy Christmas. And if you listen really hard
• 10:08
Speaker 2: maybe you can hear the sound and the tinkle of
• 10:12
Speaker 2: the sleigh bells. Good night and sleep tight. We wish
• 10:21
Speaker 2: you a very happy Christmas and a fabulous new year.
