- 0:00SPEAKER_03: This might pop up sooner or later on your algorithm, probably also because we're talking about it and all our phones are listening to Scott and Alley too, along with you.
- 0:08SPEAKER_03: Uh our listenership way up.
- 0:10SPEAKER_03: It's the billionaires challenge.
- 0:11SPEAKER_03: And it basically goes like this.
- 0:13SPEAKER_03: Here's the premise behind it.
- 0:14SPEAKER_03: So you're dating someone that their family's a billionaire.
- 0:18SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 0:18SPEAKER_03: They're the well-to-do.
- 0:19SPEAKER_03: And they don't like you.
- 0:21SPEAKER_03: So dad comes over and goes, I'm gonna kill you.
- 0:23SPEAKER_03: Here's a cool mill.
- 0:24SPEAKER_03: Oh, or in this case online, it's like six mil.
- 0:27SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 0:27SPEAKER_03: So but you're right.
- 0:28SPEAKER_03: I'll take one, I'll take six.
- 0:30SPEAKER_03: So would would you would you take it and basically be like, well, that's the end of that relationship for that kind of money?
- 0:36SPEAKER_03: I mean, we're not talking, you know, uh, hey, uh, here's a hundred dollars, skip the date.
- 0:42SPEAKER_03: No, no, no.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: This is six million scram.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: Don't tell my daughter, get your loser butt out of here.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: Now, would you do it?
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, uh, my friend Rodney, he was dating this girl, Jessica, back in college, and her father went to him and he did not like him, and he paid he wanted to pay him, I think, like twenty thousand dollars to step away from her.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: He took the money and then he eloped with her.
- 1:03SPEAKER_02: He tried to take them to court, but they left the country.
- 1:06SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: I guess that's smart.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean Well, twenty thousand twenty thousand dollars is basically just gonna get you started in another country anyway.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because you have to travel there, get settled there.
- 1:17SPEAKER_03: But what if you are a well-to-do engineer and your skill set can transfer anywhere and you can make a lot of money?
- 1:23SPEAKER_03: Good for you.
- 1:24SPEAKER_03: That starter money could be what you needed.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: I mean And you look great in a leader hosing.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Hello, Germany.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: Hi there, 69B Lennar.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: Hello, uh, you taking the money?
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: I yeah.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: My buddy's uh fiance's dad tried to give him like$10,000.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: And he took the check, and then they went and eloped and moved.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: It was supposed to be like, don't tell her, just break up with her and leave.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: So like they did like this big show, and because I think she knew what her dad was up to.
- 1:52SPEAKER_03: Hold on a minute.
- 1:54SPEAKER_03: Two of you have the same story.
- 1:56SPEAKER_03: Do you both know Rodney?
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: I think they're both friends with Rodney.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: Except for the the amounts were different, but you never know the exact.
- 2:03SPEAKER_03: Well, yeah, somebody hears something, and it's like the game of telephone, you know?
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: 10,000, 20,000, whatever.
- 2:09SPEAKER_03: What are the odds that both people know Rodney?
- 2:11SPEAKER_03: Which, by the way, I hope he's doing well in his leader hosing.
- 2:13SPEAKER_03: Three, two, one.
- 2:15SPEAKER_03: We're listening to Scott and Allie.
- 2:17SPEAKER_03: Scott and Allie's Big Three.
- 2:19SPEAKER_03: Uh, this is gonna be a loaded big three, and I have to reference, I have to reference two texts that just came in.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: Wait, three texts?
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: Three texts.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we gotta reference Doug's from earlier.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes, yes, yes.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Because I I I said we're not gonna talk about it now, but we'll talk about it later.
- 2:34SPEAKER_03: So Doug referenced, have you watched the have you followed the Air Dubai story about the two pilots getting into the kerfuffle uh in the cockpit?
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: Oh, wow, what a story that is.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: We're gonna talk about that, yes.
- 2:44SPEAKER_03: But then, uh, and unfortunately you're listed as a guest, so I don't know if you got bumped out of uh you if you just gotta re-enter, you know, like re-log into the uh app.
- 2:53SPEAKER_03: Uh, but they said, woke up late this morning.
- 2:56SPEAKER_03: Hey, so did Christina Pike.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: Oh my God.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: We'll talk about that story too.
- 3:01SPEAKER_03: Even Two Tex on that.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they said, what about that botched execution?
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Well, hold on.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: Big three brought to you by ENV Energy, delivering propane, fuel oil, kerosene to your home farm, or business with no delivery fees.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: I know we got really lucky with beautiful weather yesterday, but I just looked at the 10 day.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: We are gonna start to cool down.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's coming.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, a little bit more.
- 3:20SPEAKER_03: Read the opening headline to this.
- 3:22SPEAKER_03: Quote, it was a mess.
- 3:24SPEAKER_03: Tennessee fails to execute inmate after two lethal injections.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Well, there's their story.
- 3:29SPEAKER_03: Oh my yeah, but no, it goes deeper than that.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Well, so she she was.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: I mean, I can give you some of the gory details if you really want.
- 3:36SPEAKER_03: Yes, because some of those her lawyers using to say this will not happen again.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: So they said, we're at least halting this till the end of the year.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: She was snoring, and they they tried to say, well, after the first one, you know, should we be done with it?
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: And they're like, well, let's get rid of a second one.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: Well, I don't know what kind of tiger blood this woman has, but she she lived through two lethal injections.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: Holy good God.
- 3:58SPEAKER_03: And then they transported her to a medical facility on on site, I guess she's.
- 4:03SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, she's hospitalized.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: You can you don't get two lethal injections and then you know, bounce back and cartwheels in the prison.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: Blown veins uh and degraded.
- 4:12SPEAKER_03: Okay, what is this word?
- 4:14SPEAKER_03: Pentabarbital?
- 4:17SPEAKER_03: Pentabarbital?
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: Pentabarbital.
- 4:19SPEAKER_03: What is that?
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: Degraded pentabarbital.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: Anywho, um, here's also another thing to think about with this.
- 4:26SPEAKER_03: It's not that they're never gonna go back and say we're gonna try again.
- 4:30SPEAKER_03: I mean, maybe you use the electric chair at this point.
- 4:32SPEAKER_03: But now, let's say you have a level, let's say you're her.
- 4:36SPEAKER_03: I mean, I can't believe I'm having sympathy for a convicted murderer that was supposed to die.
- 4:41SPEAKER_03: But think about this for a minute.
- 4:43SPEAKER_03: You are essentially gonna die.
- 4:45SPEAKER_03: You're you this was the plan today.
- 4:47SPEAKER_03: They messed it up.
- 4:50SPEAKER_03: Can you imagine having to live with another date down the line and keep checking the calendar and be like, we're gonna go through this again?
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Pentabarbital is a fast acting prescription barbituate used for short-term sedation, emergency seizure control, and animal euthanasia.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: Also, another perspective I want you to think about.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: Not only is she having to go, okay, I guess I'm gonna die later.
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: But the family that sat there and watched that and thought, this is it.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: And I've probably guessing, I'm not can't can't speak for them, but guessing that they thought that at least there was some sort of justice being served, and then it's like just kidding.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: Just kidding.
- 5:29SPEAKER_03: I mean, do they not have a third backup plan?
- 5:31SPEAKER_03: Like, okay, this doesn't work in Getagon.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't think it works like that.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 5:36SPEAKER_03: But in the movies, I think it does.
- 5:38SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: I think you guys referenced the um the fly Dubai flight.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: Well, let me give you details on that.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: This flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv had to make this emergency landing in Saudi Arabia because a co-pilot stabbed the pilot and attempted to crash the aircraft.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: Passengers and crew interviewed, intervened.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: But the passenger that intervened, I want to talk about this guy for a second.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: He was a plumber.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: And he had watched he'd watched enough of these, like, you know how you'll watch uh body cam footage from police.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: He had watched enough aviation videos that he was like, I got this.
- 6:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he pulled it back.
- 6:14SPEAKER_03: There were two off-duty pilots on the plane, and they ended up landing the thing safely.
- 6:19SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 6:19SPEAKER_03: And it was a hero's welcome when they finally, finally got to their destination.
- 6:24SPEAKER_03: But what a story yesterday.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: And then Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the military will cut 20% of its generals and admirals, doubling an earlier reduction order.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: So the cuts must be completed by January first of twenty twenty seventh.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: And Hegseth also announced a new four star drone warfare command.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: Senator Mark Kelly called it a purge, warning it'll take a generation to recover.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: And there is the victory.
- 6:47SPEAKER_03: Well, have we given you enough of a load up here so far?
- 6:50SPEAKER_03: Wow, take a breath.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: We haven't.
