Gilbert Lujan Jr. Earns Curry Cup Spot | Odessa News
Gilbert Lujan Jr., a Midland High standout who battled for three years, finally cracked Stephen Curry’s Underrated Golf Tour and earned a coveted spot in the 2026 Curry Cup—joining just 28 elite amateurs from 120 hopefuls. His journey, which began in June, includes pro-am rounds, competitive play, and a leadership day with KPMG, all leading up to the September 14–19 event. After the Curry Cup, he’ll launch his college golf career at UT Permian Basin, proving that grit and grind pay off big time.
