Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
• 0:02
Speaker 1: go to God in prayer, and as always I ask
• 0:06
Speaker 1: that you join along with me in prayer. You know
• 0:09
Speaker 1: I was thinking about Hezekiah Walker's song second Chance. He's
• 0:13
  Speaker 1: a God of a second chance. That's what I want
• 0:17
Speaker 1: to pray about it. Heavenly Father, thank you for being
• 0:19
Speaker 1: the God who sees beyond our failures in our flaws,
• 0:23
Speaker 1: the God who meets us in the middle of our mess,
• 0:26
Speaker 1: not to condemn us, but to lift us, to love us,
• 0:29
Speaker 1: to lead us back to life. Lord, when we've fallen,
• 0:33
Speaker 1: when we miss the mark, when we've said things we
• 0:36
Speaker 1: can't take back, when we make choices God that we regret,
• 0:39
Speaker 1: wander too far from where we should have been, You
• 0:42
Speaker 1: still remain faithful. When others give up on us. You don't.
• 0:47
Speaker 1: When we almost gave up on ourselves. God, you stepped
• 0:51
Speaker 1: in with your grace and with your mercy. Father, you
• 0:54
Speaker 1: are the God of another chance, not just a second chance.
• 0:59
Speaker 1: When denied you three times, you didn't discard him. You
• 1:03
Speaker 1: restored him. When Jonah ran in the opposite direction, you
• 1:07
Speaker 1: redirected him. When David messed up big, you still called
• 1:12
Speaker 1: him a man. After your own heart, and today that
• 1:16
Speaker 1: same grace riches us. Lord. Thank you, Thank you that
• 1:21
Speaker 1: our past doesn't disqualify us from your presence. Thank you
• 1:25
Speaker 1: that your mercy is new every morning, not just once,
• 1:29
Speaker 1: but every single day. Thank you that even in our brokenness, God,
• 1:33
Speaker 1: you still see beauty, you still see purpose, you still
• 1:37
Speaker 1: see us. God, we confess we don't deserve your kindness,
• 1:42
Speaker 1: But you don't love us based on what we deserve.
• 1:45
Speaker 1: You love us based on who you are, and you
• 1:48
Speaker 1: are love, You are grace, You are redemption. When people
• 1:52
Speaker 1: try to define us by our worst moments, God remind
• 1:57
Speaker 1: us that you define us by the Cross. You'll see
• 2:00
Speaker 1: us through the eyes of redemption. And where others see ruins, God,
• 2:04
Speaker 1: you see rebuild where others see shame. You see story.
• 2:08
Speaker 1: Where others see a mistake, God, you see ministry. You
• 2:11
Speaker 1: said in your words that if we confess our sins,
• 2:14
Speaker 1: you are faithful, You are just to forgive us and
• 2:17
Speaker 1: cleanse us of all unrighteousness. So Father, today we receive
• 2:21
Speaker 1: your forgiveness, and we forgive ourselves. We let go of shame,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: and we hold fast to hope. Thank you for rewriting
• 2:29
Speaker 1: the scripts of our lives. Thank you for breathing fresh
• 2:32
Speaker 1: wind into tire dreams. Thank you for every door you'll open,
• 2:36
Speaker 1: for every heart you'll heal it, and for the testimony
• 2:39
Speaker 1: you're creating. Because you are the God of a second chance. God,
• 2:43
Speaker 1: let us walk boldly in this grace, not just for ourselves,
• 2:47
Speaker 1: but to offer it to others. God, let us be
• 2:50
Speaker 1: a reflection of your mercy. Let our lives shout to
• 2:54
Speaker 1: the world that is not over, because as long as
• 2:58
Speaker 1: God is still writing, the story isn't finished. God, in
• 3:02
Speaker 1: the name of Jesus, you are our redeemer, You are
• 3:05
Speaker 1: our restore, You are a reset on. We thank you
• 3:09
Speaker 1: for it in Jesus' name. Amen, Amen, Amen,
