- 0:46Speaker 1: adventure hiker and I even understand you've done some acting
- 0:51Speaker 1: a little bit, rob Low.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Of all people, I'm a better fisherman than I am actor.
- 0:56Speaker 1: That's great, dude. When I started hearing that you were
- 0:58Speaker 1: a fisherman, because people will because I like to fish
- 1:03Speaker 1: and we do a show and sort of the criteria
- 1:05Speaker 1: of coming on the show is that you do interesting
- 1:08Speaker 1: shit but also like to hunt or fish or whatever.
- 1:11Speaker 1: People will be I'll get messages to be like, did
- 1:14Speaker 1: you know Robber little fishes? Oh that's so interesting And
- 1:16Speaker 1: I didn't know. And it was the thing one of
- 1:18Speaker 1: the things that caught my eye and uh karna actually resurfaced.
- 1:22Speaker 1: It was you talking up to someone how you were
- 1:27Speaker 1: going to bring him some mahi? Yeah, but I was like,
- 1:30Speaker 1: he's an actual fisherman. Yeah, and the mahi you got
- 1:32Speaker 1: a filet knife and everything. Well in the.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Mahi, I spired it. Really, that's yeah, so it's free
- 1:38Speaker 3: diving those those The last time I got a bunch
- 1:41Speaker 3: of mahi was Look, I have to give credit where
- 1:43Speaker 3: credit is due. It's my I got my kids into
- 1:46Speaker 3: fishing really really really young. One didn't want anything to
- 1:50Speaker 3: do with it, and the other one has leaned into it.
- 1:53Speaker 3: So he actually has his commercial fishing license. Really yeah,
- 1:56Speaker 3: my son, Matthew. Yeah, he's he's the only one of
- 1:58Speaker 3: the few people I think with who passed the bar.
- 2:00Speaker 3: So he's got his law degree and his commercial fishing license.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Oh man, he's uniquely suited.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Yeah, he really is.
- 2:07Speaker 1: He's got He's got it covered from both directions.
- 2:09Speaker 3: He's the one who's all like, we were out last
- 2:12Speaker 3: weekend looking for bluefin Oh really we literally you guys.
- 2:17Speaker 1: You guys are like you guys are into the technical efficienccene.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Yeah we oh yeah he is, and I come along
- 2:22Speaker 3: for the ride like I'm down to clown, Like he
- 2:24Speaker 3: wants to do it.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I'll go how old is he?
- 2:26Speaker 4: He's just turned thirty.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Okay, So we we literally drove from Channel Islands Harbor
- 2:32Speaker 3: down to Palace Verdes, out to San Clemente back to
- 2:36Speaker 3: Anna Kappa and then it was like eighty five miles.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Like I'm on a car, that would be a long way.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Yeah, right alone on the boat.
- 2:44Speaker 3: But yeah, the mahe was a spirited those That's what
- 2:48Speaker 3: I really love to do.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah, how long you been into that scene?
- 2:51Speaker 3: For probably about twelve Well got longer fifteen years when
- 2:58Speaker 3: he started.
- 2:59Speaker 1: When he started, okay, got me into it. And then, oh,
- 3:03Speaker 1: you know, I want to change the subjects of something.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I really want to ask you about your mom. I
- 3:06Speaker 1: didn't know this till this morning. Our our producer, your krin.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Your mom studied under Faulkner. Yeah, she took she said
- 3:14Speaker 1: so wild.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Well she yeah, he was the guest whatever, you know,
- 3:19Speaker 3: for a semester. And where would it have been, she.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Wanted, Paul.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Yeah that's right, sick right, Oh that's crazy, man, I
- 3:29Speaker 3: know she could be like you know, when I was
- 3:31Speaker 3: talking to William Park, you know they call him down
- 3:33Speaker 3: south Fakner.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Faulkner, what apparently sounds like your goofing on him.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Apparently she had a moment where she raised her hand
- 3:40Speaker 3: in class and was like, I just wanted to ask
- 3:43Speaker 3: you about the symbolism of the scene that you wrote
- 3:46Speaker 3: with a such and such and the that, and it's
- 3:48Speaker 3: really a throwback to the unconscious works of like man,
- 3:53Speaker 3: I just wrote it.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I'm grad I'm glad you like that part. Yea. So uh,
- 4:00Speaker 1: what's what's did you specifically get your kids in the
- 4:05Speaker 1: outdoors as like a parenting strategy. They just happened to
- 4:08Speaker 1: do it in spite of you.
- 4:10Speaker 4: No, I got it. I got them into it.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I mean it.
- 4:12Speaker 3: You know that's just handed down. I think a lot.
- 4:16Speaker 3: You know, my dad is a loves fishing, canoeing, skiing, outdoors.
- 4:22Speaker 3: I you know, my generation grew up out. You know,
- 4:26Speaker 3: summer would come around and you'd take your shoes off.
- 4:29Speaker 3: That was when I was a kid. It was like
- 4:30Speaker 3: summer was here when your shoes came off. And that
- 4:32Speaker 3: tells you everything you need to know.
- 4:33Speaker 4: About like how I grew up.
- 4:35Speaker 3: So it's like you'd get some tough ass feet. I
- 4:38Speaker 3: grew up outside outside. I'm outside all the time. I
- 4:42Speaker 3: hate being indoors. So when my kids were old enough,
- 4:46Speaker 3: we would hike and fish and ski and and if
- 4:51Speaker 3: it was outdoors we were doing I love I love it.
- 4:53Speaker 4: I can't be indoors much.
- 4:54Speaker 1: And you grew up around some squirrel hunters.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Oh, I remember vividly the day I came to my
- 5:00Speaker 3: Gabor's house and walk through the kitchen and there were
- 5:02Speaker 3: philade squirrels out on the table. I remember, I remember
- 5:07Speaker 3: that like it was yesterday. The Fugate family. That's that
- 5:11Speaker 3: great Appalachian name.
- 5:13Speaker 1: What was the name?
- 5:14Speaker 4: The few Gates.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I bet you some of them are listening right now.
- 5:17Speaker 4: There are a few gates out there.
- 5:19Speaker 1: That's my squirrel.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Yeah, the few Gates, Yeah for sure.
- 5:24Speaker 1: So when you had kids, how did you how did
- 5:26Speaker 1: you approach it? I mean like, were you trying to
- 5:30Speaker 1: you know, what do you got kids into it? Were
- 5:34Speaker 1: you get what do you wo? Do you want to
- 5:35Speaker 1: introduce your boys? Was it that? Was it that this
- 5:38Speaker 1: is what I want to do, so you're coming along
- 5:40Speaker 1: because this is what I want to do and I
- 5:42Speaker 1: want to also be a dad, So this is the plan?
- 5:45Speaker 1: Or were you trying to present to them a sort
- 5:48Speaker 1: of uh, you know, a sort of split or dichotomy
- 5:52Speaker 1: you know between your life as an entertainer, and your
- 5:56Speaker 1: life is something with that's more visceral and real, like
- 5:58Speaker 1: you know, like house, your t worry about it.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Well, first of all, they had no idea I was
- 6:03Speaker 3: an entertainer or anything that. Because I moved them out
- 6:06Speaker 3: of LA immediately and we moved to Santa Barbara. You
- 6:08Speaker 3: wanted to shield them from it, Yeah, I should say shield.
- 6:10Speaker 3: That's a little aggress Yeah. I just didn't want them
- 6:13Speaker 3: raised in a company town. You know, LA is like
- 6:16Speaker 3: you know, there are company towns. Washington is a political
- 6:19Speaker 3: company town. Detroit was an automotive company town. This is
- 6:22Speaker 3: a company town. So I got them out of LA
- 6:26Speaker 3: and Santa Barbara I live is. It's the kind of
- 6:30Speaker 3: place where you can fish for three hours, have lunch,
- 6:37Speaker 3: go on a hike, come back, go to the zoo,
- 6:42Speaker 3: and then go home and you can do all of
- 6:44Speaker 3: that in one day up there. So for for kids,
- 6:48Speaker 3: it was just super easy to introduce them to being
- 6:52Speaker 3: outdoors and we just would adventure. We just adventured, so
- 6:56Speaker 3: it wouldn't be unusual to go, hey, today we're gonna
- 6:58Speaker 3: go We're gonna set up lobster trap. You know, it's
- 7:02Speaker 3: a lobster season. Let's go see what we can get,
- 7:04Speaker 3: you know.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Whatever it was. Yeah, do you do a lot of cooking.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Here's the thing.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I'm a horrible cook and don't cook. I can eat,
- 7:11Speaker 3: I'll eat the hell out of anything, but like, I'm not,
- 7:14Speaker 3: I'm not. I'm not a It's the one thing that's
- 7:17Speaker 3: never probably because I have so many good cooks.
- 7:19Speaker 1: In my family. Yeah that I'm just an audience member.
- 7:23Speaker 1: So what what's the flow? What's what's the flow in
- 7:25Speaker 1: the in the low household where you get it?
- 7:29Speaker 3: You guys get a cool fish, Yeah, you get a lobster.
- 7:32Speaker 3: So that's matt. Then I turn it over to Matthew.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Matt my son, Matthew is.
- 7:36Speaker 1: He does, He processes and freezes.
- 7:38Speaker 3: That's I'm a catcher and an eater and anything between
- 7:42Speaker 3: that is handed off.
- 7:45Speaker 1: But at eventually want eventually comes around and winds up
- 7:47Speaker 1: on your plate. But you're not going to touch it,
- 7:49Speaker 1: for sure.
- 7:49Speaker 4: It's not that I don't want to touch.
- 7:50Speaker 1: It's just a cook.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Yeah, and nobody ever told by the way, I was
- 7:55Speaker 3: taught how to do all of the stuff that I
- 7:56Speaker 3: know how to do, but nobody ever taught me the
- 7:58Speaker 3: other stuff.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Like my grandpa who taught me how to fish taught
- 8:03Speaker 3: me and snook was our big thing. Down to the
- 8:05Speaker 3: golf right into Florida, snook fishing was our big thing.
- 8:08Speaker 3: His nickname was mister Snook.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You're yeah, that's it.
- 8:11Speaker 3: You're in a lot of the like I said, I
- 8:13Speaker 3: use the word technical, but a lot of the catches stuff.
- 8:16Speaker 1: It's hard to catch.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean just interesting.
- 8:19Speaker 5: You know.
- 8:19Speaker 3: I never did a lot of my like bass lake
- 8:22Speaker 3: stuff because I I just it was all ocean.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Yeah, not like catching bluegills off your grandma's dock.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Now, although I did that too, but yeah, no, it's
- 8:30Speaker 3: you know, game fish and all that stuff. But yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 3: I never really learned the I mean like I can
- 8:37Speaker 3: got a fish, I have to, but I ruin half
- 8:39Speaker 3: the meat.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Probably. How's your when you guys do what do you
- 8:44Speaker 1: guys do with the lobsters?
- 8:46Speaker 4: Eat them?
- 8:47Speaker 3: I mean, here's the one thing I won't do. So Matthew. Today,
- 8:50Speaker 3: today I was on my way and because dad, lobster
- 8:52Speaker 3: season is I guess it's like in a week or something.
- 8:54Speaker 3: And he's like, so let's take out. We have a boat,
- 8:57Speaker 3: and he goes, let's go out. Let's go and I'm like, wait,
- 8:59Speaker 3: so I will not dive at night and catch a lobster.
- 9:04Speaker 3: It freaks me out. For some night diving is a thing. Yeah,
- 9:08Speaker 3: it's a very acquired taste. I'm not adverse to a
- 9:11Speaker 3: night dive, but I don't want to do it in
- 9:13Speaker 3: the cold. And I got to be honest picking up
- 9:16Speaker 3: a live lobster? Is it gives me the shivers or night?
- 9:22Speaker 3: There's something Yeah? Yeah, no, for sure, there's something about it.
- 9:27Speaker 3: I'm sure once I did two or three of them,
- 9:28Speaker 3: i'd get over it. But I'll throw the trap down
- 9:32Speaker 3: and do that.
- 9:34Speaker 4: But I'm not.
- 9:34Speaker 3: But he wants to go into caves and ship at night?
- 9:37Speaker 3: Yea at night when I've done that. What what I've
- 9:41Speaker 3: struggled with is you take for granted how much you
- 9:47Speaker 3: can see around you. And then when I when.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I dove at night with a light, how uh if
- 9:58Speaker 1: you scent something somewhere, how long it takes to identify it? Oh?
- 10:04Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 10:05Speaker 1: Where especially underwater where your whole entire existence is shrunk
- 10:09Speaker 1: down to this little circle of light. Yes, and just
- 10:13Speaker 1: the just the delay, and then things seemed creepy that
- 10:16Speaker 1: wouldn't be creepy like I was diving at night one
- 10:19Speaker 1: time in Hawaii and dove down under a under a
- 10:22Speaker 1: ledge like a reef ledge, and there was a big
- 10:27Speaker 1: turtle with a unicorn fish or sure, yeah they had
- 10:33Speaker 1: there's a Hawaiian word for my conder.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Mother tell is all the Hawaiian words sound alike to me.
- 10:37Speaker 4: I hate to say it. It's really frustrating.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I got some friends will take great offense
- 10:41Speaker 1: at that.
- 10:42Speaker 5: I know.
- 10:42Speaker 3: All my Hawaiian brothers are like, you know, but it
- 10:45Speaker 3: is like, oh yeah, it was a homahama homa.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, there's like ulu.
- 10:51Speaker 3: By the way, my son does the Hawaiian pronunciation when
- 10:54Speaker 3: he's over there too, and I make fun of him
- 10:58Speaker 3: because he's not doing it on purpacly go for Matthew,
- 11:02Speaker 3: that's a good fish went to come on. Nobody do
- 11:06Speaker 3: calls it.
- 11:08Speaker 1: But I dove down and there was this thing is
- 11:11Speaker 1: grooming this fish is grooming a turtle's head, you know. Yeah,
- 11:18Speaker 1: and even that seemed like, yeah, it seems like you're
- 11:21Speaker 1: staring through someone's window or something, just seeing something like
- 11:24Speaker 1: intensely in.
- 11:25Speaker 3: The daytime night it's disturbingly. You guys, get a room.
- 11:31Speaker 3: This is intertecies. Oh you know, I gotta I gotta
- 11:36Speaker 3: tell you. Uh, so tell everybody about the tell everybody
- 11:39Speaker 3: about the Quis show you're gonna be doing.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Yeah, So this is very interesting.
- 11:43Speaker 3: It's super cool because if you like trivia, which I
- 11:45Speaker 3: know you guys do, and I love I.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Got to introduce some people to you. But yeah, yeah,
- 11:49Speaker 1: I got tell them what you got going on.
- 11:51Speaker 4: So it's called the Floor.
- 11:53Speaker 3: It will be on Fox, uh sometime next year, and
- 12:00Speaker 3: you have eighty one contestants that stand on the floor.
- 12:03Speaker 3: It's next year, it will come, it'll be out in
- 12:05Speaker 3: after post January. I see, we shot it now, but
- 12:08Speaker 3: it comes with Jane and each of the eighty one
- 12:11Speaker 3: contestants are experts in their individual areas of trivia. So
- 12:15Speaker 3: you get everything as identified by how as identified. And
- 12:18Speaker 3: this is why I wanted to do because it's everything
- 12:20Speaker 3: that you would you know, some of them are things
- 12:21Speaker 3: you'd expect. I'm an expert on United States presidencies. I'm
- 12:27Speaker 3: an expert, not me.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Oh okay, that's interesting, but no.
- 12:32Speaker 3: So it's everything like one guy. One guy was like eighties,
- 12:35Speaker 3: one hit Wonders, another was car decals. Another might be
- 12:42Speaker 3: species of animals, another might be you know, it's everything
- 12:46Speaker 3: from the like obscure to the fund to the interesting
- 12:50Speaker 3: to the intellectual. And once you you go head to
- 12:54Speaker 3: head and if you beat somebody, you get their space
- 12:56Speaker 3: on the.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Floor and they're standing on a space that is that
- 13:00Speaker 1: is identified with their expertise.
- 13:03Speaker 3: That's right, Like Star Trek is a space, but literally
- 13:07Speaker 3: you name it and we have an expert on it.
- 13:09Speaker 3: So if you But then here's the thing.
- 13:11Speaker 1: I was looking at the trailer for it, and I
- 13:13Speaker 1: can see the spaces, and I was very intrigued by
- 13:15Speaker 1: the space. Yes, a wide variety like wildlife. How I
- 13:17Speaker 1: can't put wild animals child actors. So let's say you're
- 13:24Speaker 1: the wild animal dude and you're next to the child
- 13:26Speaker 1: actor dude. At some point, what's that it's so.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Bad your area of expertise be I would do well
- 13:38Speaker 3: in wild animals. Okay, but here's the problem.
- 13:40Speaker 1: So but then I got I don't want That's what
- 13:41Speaker 1: I'm worried about.
- 13:41Speaker 4: You got to battle. Let's say you got a battle.
- 13:44Speaker 1: That's right.
- 13:45Speaker 3: You got to battle them in their category.
- 13:47Speaker 1: That's what That's where I find that this whole setup
- 13:49Speaker 1: is like you get your you're gonna it's good because
- 13:51Speaker 1: you're gonna find what's that called someone that knows everything?
- 13:53Speaker 1: A polymath?
- 13:54Speaker 3: Yes, polymorph, you're gonna find one of them. Yeah, in
- 13:58Speaker 3: the end, it's.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Super, It's it's super.
- 14:01Speaker 3: And then you get into the sort of like the
- 14:04Speaker 3: board game risk, where you're like, I'd rather go back
- 14:07Speaker 3: to the floor and not compete and stand my ground
- 14:11Speaker 3: and then potentially face when you win, you inherit that category,
- 14:19Speaker 3: and then you have to defend. Then you have to
- 14:20Speaker 3: defend that over extend your so you might you might win.
- 14:23Speaker 3: But now we're defending a category you really don't know
- 14:25Speaker 3: anything about.
- 14:26Speaker 2: And it's a rare trivia show where it like carries
- 14:29Speaker 2: over to the next episode, right, Like, isn't it like
- 14:31Speaker 2: all later episodes build to one winner.
- 14:33Speaker 4: That's exactly right.
- 14:34Speaker 1: It's time for me to make an introduction. We have
- 14:37Speaker 1: a trivia show, but it's all outdoors amazing and it's
- 14:40Speaker 1: on the same feet as people are listening. No, this
- 14:43Speaker 1: show comes out what mondays Mondays Wednesdays is media Trivia's
- 14:47Speaker 1: This is a trivia hole Spencer new Heart. I want
- 14:49Speaker 1: to introduce you guys. You guys built talks, some shop
- 14:52Speaker 1: yet how to property Conductor Quiz show. Yeah, and Spencer has.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Spencer has some So we have a board game coming
- 15:01Speaker 1: out the hold the thing up.
- 15:03Speaker 4: I saw it when I walked in.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Let's sick. So we have a board game coming out now. First,
- 15:07Speaker 1: our Trevia show deal is that it's the only game
- 15:09Speaker 1: show where conservation always wins because the winner always gets
- 15:12Speaker 1: to make a The winner makes a donation on our behalf.
- 15:18Speaker 1: That am I putting that right? Yeah? The winner makes
- 15:20Speaker 1: a donation on our behalf to the conservation organization of
- 15:24Speaker 1: their choosing, and so proceeds from the board game all
- 15:26Speaker 1: go to support conservation organizations while they have conservation orgs.
- 15:30Speaker 2: No one dollar per board game that's sold.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Per board game that sold great, So how's that going
- 15:37Speaker 1: with this? Oh, he Spencer is gonna pull some never
- 15:41Speaker 1: before seen by me film questions. So the collision of
- 15:45Speaker 1: film in the outdoors.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Let's go.
- 15:47Speaker 2: So we have we have eight categories in the board game, hunting, fishing, conservation, cooking, woodsmanship, gear, wildlife,
- 15:53Speaker 2: and natural history.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Amazing some of those I bet, Yeah, let's go, let's
- 15:58Speaker 3: throw down, man, and some of us are like, oh,
- 16:00Speaker 3: I'm screwed.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Well, so I went through the questions. There's eight hundred
- 16:03Speaker 2: questions in the game, and I pulled five of them
- 16:05Speaker 2: that are related to cinema. Let's go, that's what.
- 16:07Speaker 1: We're gonna ask. All right, ready to serious the deal.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I want to ask a couple of questions.
- 16:12Speaker 3: So excited, Spencer told me, I want very competitive about this.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Spencer wants to play me on these games.
- 16:19Speaker 4: This is our favorite thing that we do.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the main This is doctor Randall Williams.
- 16:27Speaker 1: He's got a pH d in history.
- 16:29Speaker 4: I've never brought it up. Steve brings up all the time. Wow,
- 16:32Speaker 4: that's really cool.
- 16:34Speaker 3: So he's here because he's he's a son Matthew, Who've
- 16:37Speaker 3: been talking about a lot. He's military history major.
- 16:40Speaker 5: Oh.
- 16:42Speaker 1: I would seriously consider if you guys go into a
- 16:44Speaker 1: second season on the show floor, I would seriously consider
- 16:48Speaker 1: putting doctor Randall on the.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Child actors square.
- 16:53Speaker 3: That would be Adam Rich. I was seriously consider putting
- 16:59Speaker 3: in on that floor. He's going to have a lot
- 17:01Speaker 3: of little squares. Yeah, so Spencer warned me. Spencer said
- 17:07Speaker 3: he thinks that I would know all the questions, but
- 17:10Speaker 3: I haven't seen him.
- 17:12Speaker 1: But one of the problems is, and here's I just
- 17:14Speaker 1: want to set this up to. I want you to see
- 17:16Speaker 1: why you're at a disadvantage. All right, So we work
- 17:21Speaker 1: together on a lot of different projects, book publishing stuff,
- 17:26Speaker 1: video stuff, podcast stuff, audio projects. So over the course
- 17:32Speaker 1: of a lot of years. We've been working together for
- 17:34Speaker 1: how long five years? So even though we haven't conspired
- 17:38Speaker 1: about the questions, we just have a lot of the
- 17:40Speaker 1: same input.
- 17:42Speaker 3: So it's a little unfair, I understand. So if it
- 17:45Speaker 3: doesn't work out for you and later, are we playing
- 17:48Speaker 3: against each other?
- 17:49Speaker 1: Is that what's happening? No, not really.
- 17:51Speaker 6: I just want to point later, if somebody like one
- 17:55Speaker 6: of your buddies is going to come to you, and
- 17:57Speaker 6: and maybe one of your buddies is coming and be like,
- 17:59Speaker 6: oh see, like you got beat in those questions, you'd
- 18:03Speaker 6: be able to say, well, here's the deal.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Those guys all work together, and they all like.
- 18:07Speaker 4: They're in a mind melding.
- 18:08Speaker 1: They're in a little.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Group thing exactly. It's a hive.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Yeah, And so I'm just laying I'm just helping you
- 18:14Speaker 1: out with.
- 18:15Speaker 4: How fucking hive mentality?
- 18:16Speaker 1: I came up again? You got it? You got it?
- 18:20Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 18:21Speaker 1: Sorry, cut that out. So when he uses his friends,
- 18:23Speaker 1: it was surprised.
- 18:25Speaker 4: It was a good phrase.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Hive mentality.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Now, before we play the trivia, I was going to
- 18:39Speaker 2: suggest introducing you today because I had this assumption that
- 18:42Speaker 2: you were at one point named one of the sexiest
- 18:45Speaker 2: men Alive by People magazine.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Man, well you've you've gone right to my Achilles heel.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Okay, so I wan't view that like a very strong heel. Now,
- 18:54Speaker 2: So I was certain of it, and so I googled that.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I google robb Low sexiest Man Alive, and it turns
- 18:59Speaker 2: out he hands it made it. But but he has
- 19:02Speaker 2: been on Let me read you this article.
- 19:05Speaker 3: I'm saying, he says top ten guys says not the
- 19:08Speaker 3: sexiest man, top.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Ten guys who were surprisingly never named sexiest man alive.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Oh that's better. Good. So you're on that Lis Sleeper
- 19:15Speaker 1: sexy man. Do you want to know who else is
- 19:17Speaker 1: there with you?
- 19:18Speaker 2: Ricky Martin, John Stamos, Robert Downey Junior, Justin Timberlake, John Hamm,
- 19:24Speaker 2: Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith, Ryan Gosling's top Rich.
- 19:30Speaker 3: That makes me feel so much better.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Who's the sexiest man alive? Right now? Is it still
- 19:34Speaker 1: a thing that it kind of gets like it's a
- 19:37Speaker 1: real thing.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Do you still think you have a chance, could you
- 19:40Speaker 2: do it?
- 19:41Speaker 3: I've decided what they're gonna do now, is that that
- 19:43Speaker 3: that bullshit thing they do where they give you the
- 19:45Speaker 3: oscar where you're really really old.
- 19:47Speaker 1: And something life a lifetime of sexiness.
- 19:50Speaker 3: I'm going to get the sexiest man alive when I'm
- 19:53Speaker 3: like seventy.
- 19:54Speaker 1: That'd be great.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Though they've waited this long. There's no reason to give
- 19:57Speaker 3: it to me now, huh. So they're gonna wait till
- 19:59Speaker 3: I'm not clearly not sexiest sure, and then be like,
- 20:02Speaker 3: see what we did?
- 20:03Speaker 2: We we we give it.
- 20:04Speaker 4: To an old guy?
- 20:05Speaker 1: Are we cool?
- 20:06Speaker 3: And that would make online dating just so easy. It's
- 20:10Speaker 3: just it's like sexiest man alive.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Literally, there's my cars. Just there's nothing, there's nothing more
- 20:17Speaker 1: needs to be said.
- 20:18Speaker 2: So I was ready to introduce you that way, but
- 20:20Speaker 2: but instead you're one of the top ten sexies.
- 20:22Speaker 1: So you fact checked your own who has never.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Been one of the sexiest men alive?
- 20:27Speaker 1: Do it one of the ten.
- 20:28Speaker 3: It simply won't be forced one of the ten sexiest
- 20:31Speaker 3: men who was not recognized for that.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Sexy That's right, it's a good list, all right. Here
- 20:39Speaker 2: here's the first question. There's five questions he's are all
- 20:41Speaker 2: related to cinema, but still with time. We have a
- 20:44Speaker 2: time limit here. I just whenever you come up with
- 20:46Speaker 2: the great see you.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Guys, I love it.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I'm like that. So what's that? What's on that screen there?
- 20:51Speaker 5: You?
- 20:52Speaker 1: I don't know if this work.
- 20:56Speaker 7: Screens off, Steve, I promise.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Typing in and it's like even they might have.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Some headphones curve from the Golden State Warriors here.
- 21:05Speaker 1: That's good. I don't think you've ever heard that one.
- 21:08Speaker 7: You feel not a basketball guy, I said, but I
- 21:10Speaker 7: knew it was basketball.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Yeah, Golden State Warriors, they've only won four titles. It's
- 21:15Speaker 4: great any resemblance.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Totally.
- 21:21Speaker 2: All right, This was question seven O seven and no one,
- 21:24Speaker 2: no one's ever heard these questions before. This is the
- 21:26Speaker 2: first time. Well this is for I haven't heard the
- 21:29Speaker 2: question if Steve, If you guys want we're conversing, sure,
- 21:34Speaker 2: we'll see how competition not a contest?
- 21:36Speaker 3: I think we should have the competition. What's the okay
- 21:41Speaker 3: a question? I have produced two network game shows, So
- 21:47Speaker 3: can I just say here's how I think we do this.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he's rank.
- 21:56Speaker 3: We're playing together against each other.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Okay, it's it's a race.
- 22:00Speaker 3: To answer first. But once you answer first, that's your answer,
- 22:09Speaker 3: and the who and the other guy who maybe hasn't
- 22:11Speaker 3: gone first, has as long as he wants.
- 22:13Speaker 2: And I got to stop reading the question as soon
- 22:15Speaker 2: as one of you is like you know the answer.
- 22:17Speaker 4: You can't interrupt. Can you interrupt with your answer or
- 22:21Speaker 4: do the minute you think you know it? You can
- 22:23Speaker 4: do it.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I can tell you something. This is going to seem
- 22:26Speaker 1: metaphysical now, and then he'll be reading a question and
- 22:33Speaker 1: he won't have something will visit me. No, it's not
- 22:39Speaker 1: that I know it. I just I know that I
- 22:41Speaker 1: know it.
- 22:41Speaker 3: I know I know I that. That was when my
- 22:44Speaker 3: wife and I play charades.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Okay, she'd be okay.
- 22:47Speaker 3: It's a movie, and I'll but you know, you're like whatever,
- 22:51Speaker 3: that's what I know, because you'll be like an aquifer
- 22:54Speaker 3: and I'll be like, it's because it's only it's only
- 22:57Speaker 3: like as ever heard of, right, And by the way,
- 23:00Speaker 3: the fact that I've not heard of that at all
- 23:01Speaker 3: makes me feel like I've set myself.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Up really radical.
- 23:05Speaker 1: We tried to get you out of it.
- 23:07Speaker 7: I know, I know I.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Made this way harder on myself than I needed to.
- 23:10Speaker 2: So it's it's whoever answers first between the two of
- 23:12Speaker 2: you is going to play as well. Okay, if not speed.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Speed answers give me a bit of anxiety.
- 23:22Speaker 1: That's why I put it in here. Doctor Randall needs
- 23:25Speaker 1: to be in it.
- 23:26Speaker 3: By the way, the only reason I think I have
- 23:27Speaker 3: a shot is because they're film related.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Sure, this is very deliberate.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Okay, good, Yeah, it's not like awkward for questions. Okay,
- 23:37Speaker 1: is everybody ready?
- 23:38Speaker 4: Yes?
- 23:39Speaker 2: This is question seven oh seven? Who portrayed Jeremiah Johnson?
- 23:44Speaker 2: I think I just said, did you even understand what
- 23:48Speaker 2: they said?
- 23:48Speaker 5: No?
- 23:50Speaker 7: That was.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Can I tell anything before you started the question? And
- 23:57Speaker 3: I'm not kidding. I almost said Jeremia john I.
- 24:01Speaker 7: Literally said you.
- 24:02Speaker 3: I literally almost did before he started any question, because
- 24:06Speaker 3: when you think of wilderness and film, yeah, Jeremi john
- 24:10Speaker 3: j Johnson.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Yeah, the next thing he's gonna do is go deer
- 24:13Speaker 1: runner even the easy careful?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Now did you even hear what their answer was?
- 24:20Speaker 5: I was.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Engineer. It was very clearly clear.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Was it all three of you were in on that?
- 24:28Speaker 4: I wait, wait, here's our judge?
- 24:30Speaker 1: Okay, No, I I said no, I just made it.
- 24:37Speaker 1: I went like this, which wasn't what you're supposed to do?
- 24:39Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I didn't make it. I didn't actually came
- 24:42Speaker 4: out with the full question.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Who portrayed Jeremiah Johnson in the nineteen seventy two film
- 24:48Speaker 2: Jeremiah Johnson, What do you Got the Cards?
- 24:52Speaker 3: You know the answer Robert Redford, he said, he said Jeremi,
- 24:57Speaker 3: you said Jermy, and I was on it.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Yeah, gets a point. Seen that movie a thousand point.
- 25:03Speaker 2: There you go, He's he's winning one to zero.
- 25:05Speaker 1: You know what I like about that? One of the
- 25:06Speaker 1: many things I like about that movie. I tried to
- 25:08Speaker 1: explain to people.
- 25:09Speaker 8: Your favorite movie, right, Well, can we just it's very
- 25:13Speaker 8: it's very dated, oh like that, but but not not
- 25:20Speaker 8: within context of its genre.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Mates. Oh interesting, So it's dated, yes, but not if
- 25:28Speaker 1: you line it up with Charlton Heston's The Mountain Men, right,
- 25:31Speaker 1: then it seems like it was made in this tuture. Yeah, so,
- 25:37Speaker 1: uh it is. But there's a part of that movie.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I try to explain that there's a part of the
- 25:42Speaker 1: movie that's like deeply sad. When he in the end,
- 25:48Speaker 1: you know, Jeremiah Johnson's he's gone this killing spree, He's uh,
- 25:55Speaker 1: and he winds up meeting his old mentor barka bear
- 25:59Speaker 1: claw Chris clap clap, you know, and they're trying to
- 26:04Speaker 1: figure out what month it is, Yes, and you enjoy that. Oh,
- 26:10Speaker 1: it's just so sad man. They look so defeated and sad.
- 26:13Speaker 1: And you would happen to know what month it is,
- 26:15Speaker 1: would you? It's great caculator, like I don't know, March.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Maybe it's a great moment. It really is a great
- 26:22Speaker 3: moment because you think, because you know, you just it
- 26:24Speaker 3: has that ring of authenticity. Of course they wouldn't, of course.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Yeah. And just how withdrawn, like how withdrawn they've become, ye,
- 26:33Speaker 1: to have lost track of the calendar alone and withdrawn Now.
- 26:38Speaker 2: The role of Jeremiah Johnson was supposed to be playing
- 26:40Speaker 2: Clint Eastwood, but Eastwood didn't get along with the director,
- 26:44Speaker 2: so he decided to make Bertie Harry instead. Rob, you
- 26:47Speaker 2: were just a boy when that came out? Do you?
- 26:49Speaker 4: I saw it in the theaters though?
- 26:50Speaker 2: Really?
- 26:51Speaker 4: Sure? Yeah? Absolutely remember it?
- 26:53Speaker 1: What else? Back up from one Cotton Pity again it.
- 26:58Speaker 3: I've never heard this, the Clin east Wood thing. Yeah,
- 27:02Speaker 3: here's it doesn't make sense. Redford directed Jeremia Johnson.
- 27:05Speaker 1: No Sidney Pollack director Jeremo. Oh my god.
- 27:07Speaker 4: Okay, see I got screwed.
- 27:08Speaker 1: You're right, make that one of the questions.
- 27:10Speaker 2: But I think I think before Clint East would it
- 27:12Speaker 2: was supposed to be somebody else even but no way,
- 27:14Speaker 2: that is.
- 27:15Speaker 3: The most Unsidney Pollack movie ever made. Oh yeah, it
- 27:20Speaker 3: was just a freak out wire.
- 27:21Speaker 1: He made that movie. It was a freak outlier for him.
- 27:24Speaker 4: Really, no kidding.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Not Jackson Pollack.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Sidney Pollack would have been I would have believed Jackson Pollock.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I really would have.
- 27:33Speaker 2: What else would have you been seeing in the movie
- 27:35Speaker 2: theater at that time?
- 27:37Speaker 3: Oh gosh, I was on a big red f I
- 27:39Speaker 3: saw Butch Cassidy in the theater. That's I think sixty nine.
- 27:43Speaker 3: The first movie I ever remember well other than kids movies,
- 27:46Speaker 3: Like the first movie ever saw was like the Aristocrats
- 27:48Speaker 3: are Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in the theaters. But the
- 27:51Speaker 3: first like movie movie I remember seeing I think was Goldfinger.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Wow, that's going back there.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's great.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Uh.
- 28:01Speaker 3: I want to back up for a minute because now
- 28:02Speaker 3: now I need to live with thinking if he had got.
- 28:04Speaker 2: The part, if you would liked it more or less?
- 28:08Speaker 4: Well, I think it would have been equally as good.
- 28:10Speaker 3: That's one of the rare ones where you go usually go,
- 28:13Speaker 3: I would have been bad, but like I go, oh,
- 28:14Speaker 3: I see that that would have been good.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Dirty Harry would have been different.
- 28:17Speaker 1: He said.
- 28:18Speaker 2: He made Dirty Harry instead of Jeremiah.
- 28:20Speaker 1: J Well, he sort of played Clint Eastwood sort of
- 28:25Speaker 1: played that a very similar role when he did the
- 28:32Speaker 1: So the author of The Educational Little Tree, who as
- 28:37Speaker 1: we now know as it became this wasn't revealed until
- 28:39Speaker 1: the nineties. The author of The Education A Little Tree
- 28:42Speaker 1: had written Wallace's Segregation Now Segregation Forever speech, but had
- 28:48Speaker 1: this like wrote novels under a pseudonym. Clint Eastwood bought
- 28:52Speaker 1: the Outlaw Josie Wales was written by this Wallas segregationist
- 28:58Speaker 1: speech writer under a pseudonym. CLINTE wouldn't even know it
- 29:01Speaker 1: wow when he bought the Clines Wood wasn't aware when
- 29:05Speaker 1: he did Outlaw Josey Wales. But Outlaw Josey Wales was
- 29:10Speaker 1: has the same tonality to it. So it could have
- 29:13Speaker 1: been that if he had done Jeremiah Johnson, it wouldn't
- 29:16Speaker 1: have like changed. But you gather I don't really know,
- 29:18Speaker 1: I haven't I feel like when you watch Jeremia Johnson.
- 29:21Speaker 1: I feel a little bit like I sense an ad
- 29:24Speaker 1: libbing quality to it, that it was, that it was
- 29:26Speaker 1: maybe a little bit on the fly. I don't know.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I don't really know if that's true, but I feel
- 29:31Speaker 1: like he would in some way made it.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Redford doesn't strike me as an ad lever.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Oh he's not, I don't know.
- 29:35Speaker 4: Doesn't strike me as one.
- 29:37Speaker 1: But he says about three things.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm cold, What day is it?
- 29:45Speaker 1: That's that's your best that's your best? Tidbit? Ever, what
- 29:47Speaker 1: do you call him?
- 29:51Speaker 2: That was the first question. We're gonna give Rabbed the point.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Okay, so now we've learned something about the rules.
- 29:55Speaker 4: Huh on that?
- 29:56Speaker 3: Do we do ding which you did, or just yell
- 29:58Speaker 3: the answer like I did. I would prefer that we
- 30:00Speaker 3: go dang, okay, let's do that.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Okay. That gives the ability, ready to say clearly ready
- 30:05Speaker 2: for the next question. This is question to fifty one
- 30:08Speaker 2: Phil You.
- 30:10Speaker 3: I just both of her hands up over a fake buzzer.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Now, I know Steve and Randall are very competitive, and
- 30:17Speaker 2: and Rob you've announced that you're competitive, So this is
- 30:20Speaker 2: a good.
- 30:21Speaker 1: He came in hot mix. Yeah, he came in hot.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Here we go question two fifty one. What two thousand
- 30:27Speaker 2: and seven Cohen brother.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Oh boy about No Country for Old Men?
- 30:33Speaker 2: That's right. Wow, here's the full question. Everybody can hear it.
- 30:40Speaker 3: It's happening about because this is Owen Brothers.
- 30:44Speaker 2: What two thousand and seven Cohen Brothers movie opens with
- 30:47Speaker 2: Llewellyn moss Blood trailing a pronghorn.
- 30:50Speaker 1: There's no country for there you go?
- 30:53Speaker 3: I was, so, I also have a sweet spot in
- 30:58Speaker 3: terms of years.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Okay, hm hmmm, fall outside of that.
- 31:02Speaker 4: And this falls.
- 31:03Speaker 3: This falls outside Obviously I've seen No Country for Old
- 31:05Speaker 3: Men multiple times. But it's not that, you know what
- 31:10Speaker 3: I mean. It's like I'm got the things, I'm raising kids.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 31:13Speaker 3: It's not like Jeremiah John's. I was like, wow, I'm
- 31:16Speaker 3: all of ten years old.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Wow, you know what I mean.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch that four times.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:21Speaker 2: So do you think you would have come up with
- 31:22Speaker 2: No Country Frilled Men when you heard two thousand and
- 31:24Speaker 2: seven Coen Brothers movie.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I would have to do the math, which is my least.
- 31:30Speaker 3: I'm horrible at math, so that I'm a two thousand
- 31:33Speaker 3: and seven okay, So that would have been.
- 31:35Speaker 4: But it's over too slow. But I would have gotten that,
- 31:37Speaker 4: for sure, I.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Would have gotten it. Here's the fact I hit me
- 31:40Speaker 1: with the factor. Then I want to hit you with
- 31:41Speaker 1: a thing.
- 31:42Speaker 2: No Country Frilled Men is set in Tarrell County, Texas
- 31:45Speaker 2: in nineteen eighty. I couldn't find any animalt harvest report
- 31:48Speaker 2: for Texas in nineteen eighty, but I could find one
- 31:52Speaker 2: for nineteen seventy nine. That year, there were only thirteen
- 31:55Speaker 2: hundred anelope tags given out and hunters had an eighty
- 31:58Speaker 2: nine percent success rate. Now Llewellyn doesn't recover his antelope,
- 32:02Speaker 2: so that means he would have been in the eleven
- 32:03Speaker 2: percent of Texas hunters who didn't fill their.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Tag that year. Yeah, I thought about that often. He
- 32:10Speaker 1: just forgets about the goat it, just like it didn't
- 32:13Speaker 1: even happen.
- 32:14Speaker 4: When I watched that movie.
- 32:15Speaker 3: That was what my takeaway was, that guy at the
- 32:18Speaker 3: beginning did not.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Fill his quota.
- 32:20Speaker 3: He and I to do his other problems being hunted
- 32:24Speaker 3: down by Anton Sugar, yeah, and other you know, being
- 32:28Speaker 3: hunted by down by like a sociopathic uh.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Huh killer and all that breaking Wanton ways to having.
- 32:34Speaker 1: His wife just killed so bad that the killer needs
- 32:38Speaker 1: to like inspect the bottom of his boots afterward. Uh.
- 32:42Speaker 1: In addition to that, he would have been the efficient
- 32:44Speaker 1: game would have been after him for wanton waste. It
- 32:47Speaker 1: could have been a totally different movie where a game
- 32:49Speaker 1: warden is also on his trail. That would have been amazing.
- 32:57Speaker 4: That's actually an amazing like.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I think we should write in a sociopathic game.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Or just not even or just like a nerd game
- 33:06Speaker 3: where it's like a total like rules following. He's like
- 33:09Speaker 3: noments and stuff.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Yeah, at that time, the antelope tags were only distributed
- 33:16Speaker 2: to landowners and then the landowners could do whatever they
- 33:19Speaker 2: wanted with those tags. So in this situation, Llewellyn was
- 33:22Speaker 2: hunting on private land that he would have been given
- 33:25Speaker 2: a tag. There were three hundred and fifty landowners that
- 33:27Speaker 2: were given tag in nineteen seventy nine, so he would
- 33:30Speaker 2: have received his tag from one of them and then
- 33:32Speaker 2: went out and gut shot a prong horn and then
- 33:35Speaker 2: not recovered it.
- 33:36Speaker 1: That is horrible because the thing is I always celebrate
- 33:39Speaker 1: Corant McCarthy for how sure tight, how tight everything.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Is, and this was in Terrell County, which does not
- 33:46Speaker 2: have a prong horn season today. So that's when I
- 33:48Speaker 2: went back to nineteen eighty.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Well, what you haven't explored is this that Llewell and
- 33:52Speaker 3: Moss doesn't give it shit.
- 33:53Speaker 1: No, Lluell and Moss wants to hunt. That's a good
- 33:58Speaker 1: he's gonna hunt, you know. That's that's not like he's
- 34:00Speaker 1: like whatever.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Observations like, yeah, all right, So that point was for Randall.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Here we go, doctor Randall.
- 34:11Speaker 2: This is question forty one. Hands on your buzzers. What
- 34:15Speaker 2: nineteen ninety movie that stars Tom Selick follows a sharp
- 34:19Speaker 2: shooting American cowboy? Okay with Steve, We're giving it to Steve.
- 34:26Speaker 4: I know what it is?
- 34:27Speaker 1: Quickly down under? Hy right? That's right.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Here's the full question. What nineteen ninety movie that stars
- 34:32Speaker 2: Tom Selleck follows a sharp shooting American cowboy who goes
- 34:35Speaker 2: to Australia?
- 34:36Speaker 1: Why does he go to Australia.
- 34:38Speaker 4: Because he wouldn't be down under?
- 34:43Speaker 1: Does he put out it would be the title?
- 34:47Speaker 2: Right? Does he put out an ad to go to Australia?
- 34:51Speaker 2: Does someone in Australia put out an ad that draws him?
- 34:53Speaker 2: I don't remember what it is.
- 34:55Speaker 1: I see I saw a clip because I don't know.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I remember we did a spoof on We did a
- 34:59Speaker 1: spoof on a clip and there's like there's a clip
- 35:01Speaker 1: where there's a clip in which I.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Think I know where you're gonna reference. Let me read
- 35:07Speaker 2: my factoid. Oh. In a twenty thirteen article, Field and
- 35:10Speaker 2: Stream declared that Quickly down Under had the worst firearms
- 35:14Speaker 2: related scene of all time. Here's what David Petzel said
- 35:17Speaker 2: about the movie quote, the worst gun related scene is
- 35:20Speaker 2: in Quickly down Under where Quickly takes his sharp's fifty
- 35:23Speaker 2: cal and, after an elaborate ritual of doping the wind
- 35:27Speaker 2: and adjusting his sight, shoots a bucket way off on
- 35:29Speaker 2: the horizon. Offhand. Give me a break and sell it
- 35:32Speaker 2: in real life is a serious hunter and devoted gun nut.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Shame on him. Is that what you're going to refer to?
- 35:39Speaker 1: Yeah, he like takes a thousand yards shot.
- 35:42Speaker 4: This is the hive mind.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Here, this highline was happening.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a class example. Because we filmed a
- 35:49Speaker 1: spoof of it.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Was it that scene you spoofed?
- 35:52Speaker 1: Well, but I was. I was there for part of
- 35:54Speaker 1: the spoof, but I wasn't in the spoof. But it
- 35:57Speaker 1: was like a guy makes a big pitch about a
- 35:59Speaker 1: gun it's this that thing. Okay, I haven't seen that movie.
- 36:04Speaker 2: How does that rank? And you're like, oh, you haven't
- 36:05Speaker 2: seen it.
- 36:06Speaker 1: I've never seen it.
- 36:06Speaker 5: You know what.
- 36:07Speaker 1: You know what I confuse it with is the man
- 36:09Speaker 1: from Snowy River. Oh that yeah, yeah, guy that rides
- 36:12Speaker 1: the horse down hill real bad.
- 36:13Speaker 3: And you know what, I confuse that with the Gray Fox.
- 36:16Speaker 1: I don't even know that one.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Oh, Richard what's his name?
- 36:21Speaker 4: He's the one.
- 36:22Speaker 3: He's in the Natural, he's the assistant coach. And then
- 36:24Speaker 3: Richard Farnsworth Gray Fox. No, that's a good one for you.
- 36:29Speaker 1: There's there's horse riding in it.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a lot of rooting and tooting in it.
- 36:33Speaker 1: No, excellent, So we go. There's another I want there's
- 36:38Speaker 1: another movie that I just thought of. No, no, that's
- 36:44Speaker 1: the same. Yeah, not a movie. What was magnum p
- 36:47Speaker 1: I that's a TV show series that was top seller.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Yeah, mustaches quickly mustache if I'm not mistaken as a
- 36:56Speaker 3: like a big handlebar mustache.
- 37:00Speaker 1: You ever get sexiest man Alive? Oh yeah, oh yeah,
- 37:02Speaker 1: oh yeah, probably five for sure.
- 37:04Speaker 4: He's I think he's he's hey, otherwise he'd be on
- 37:07Speaker 4: that list.
- 37:07Speaker 1: They only they.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Only give it to you once apparently.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Yeah, he's the only man I've ever met that had
- 37:11Speaker 1: a hair of your chest in me.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Celig was selected as the sexiest man in the nation
- 37:16Speaker 2: by a more than two to one ratio among those polled.
- 37:19Speaker 2: But I don't know if.
- 37:20Speaker 3: That's not a magazine thing, that's like the people, that's
- 37:23Speaker 3: the Oscar.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Nobody must have won, mister baseball.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Well, so he was voted the sexiest actor alive, which
- 37:31Speaker 2: I think is a title that you've held before, right.
- 37:34Speaker 4: I don't think I've held any of those two.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Really, Okay, sexiest act.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Well, you're bringing up a lot of sore points here.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Sorry about something that he did get.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Yeah, Jesus, I want to I won the Golden.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Hair Award, just dude, just like rubbing in all the
- 37:50Speaker 1: stuff you haven't gotten exactly. So, yeah, you know, you
- 37:53Speaker 1: know you didn't have the best actor. I don't believe
- 37:56Speaker 1: how many oscars you got. I think it was none.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Then, and talk about the first oscar you want?
- 38:12Speaker 2: All right, we have each of our players with one point.
- 38:14Speaker 7: It's a good game.
- 38:16Speaker 2: This is question one seventeen. What nineteen seventy six novel
- 38:22Speaker 2: became a nineteen ninety two movie that heavily featured fly
- 38:25Speaker 2: fishing in Montana. We had brought un that is correct,
- 38:30Speaker 2: Rob takes the lead.
- 38:32Speaker 1: For some reason, I was ready to slap down on
- 38:36Speaker 1: uh true grit interesting Charles Portos's novel Becoming U.
- 38:43Speaker 2: I thought of all the questions that I wouldn't have
- 38:45Speaker 2: to get all the words through, this would be one
- 38:46Speaker 2: of them. You guys need every word.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Yeah, that was I was so far down. I was
- 38:50Speaker 1: so far down to Charles Portous.
- 38:51Speaker 4: True can get out of that hole.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I just was waiting to be verified. Yeah, and then
- 38:56Speaker 1: the fly fish and shit caught me by surprise.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Yeah, runs through. It was filmed in nineteen ninety one
- 39:02Speaker 2: and was set in Missoula, Montana. I have some Robb
- 39:05Speaker 2: Blow trivia now. That same year our guest Robb Blow
- 39:08Speaker 2: was filming a movie with a co star who was
- 39:10Speaker 2: born in Missoula, Montana. Who what film was Robb below
- 39:14Speaker 2: filming in nineteen ninety Give me a se that start
- 39:16Speaker 2: an actor who was born in Missoula, Montana. There's a
- 39:19Speaker 2: chance Rob may not even get this, do you know
- 39:21Speaker 2: the answer?
- 39:21Speaker 1: I know, give me a minute, cause I know that
- 39:23Speaker 1: I know there's an actor.
- 39:24Speaker 4: I know it's JK. Simmons, right, No, I never worked
- 39:27Speaker 4: with him. J.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Simmons from Zoom. Do you know the answer?
- 39:30Speaker 3: I know what I was working on then, and I'm thinking.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Okay, Steve's gonna try to come up with an answer
- 39:38Speaker 2: and then we'll let you take a stab.
- 39:39Speaker 1: I just know that Missoula has a no no, no no.
- 39:42Speaker 1: I'm thinking one of the dudes from Pearl Jam was
- 39:44Speaker 1: from Missoula.
- 39:47Speaker 4: He's from He's from Big Sandy.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Okay, he went to school.
- 39:50Speaker 4: Movie.
- 39:51Speaker 2: So in nineteen ninety one, while A River Runs Through
- 39:54Speaker 2: was being made, Rob was making a movie with someone
- 39:57Speaker 2: who was born in Missoula.
- 39:59Speaker 7: I know David Lynch is from Mozilla, but he's not
- 40:01Speaker 7: much of an actor.
- 40:02Speaker 1: That's who I was trying to think. Yeah, he's great, but.
- 40:04Speaker 3: He's like Tarantino where he puts himself in his own movies.
- 40:08Speaker 3: He does dude, he's he's in that that great Spielberg
- 40:12Speaker 3: movie last year. He's Fablemans. Oh my god, he's the
- 40:16Speaker 3: best thing in the movie.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Yes, I don't know. He plays outward.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Okay, do you have an answer? I do? What is it?
- 40:23Speaker 4: Dana Carvey?
- 40:24Speaker 2: That's right, Dana and Dana Carvey lived there.
- 40:27Speaker 7: For three years.
- 40:28Speaker 2: He was born there, he lived there until he was
- 40:30Speaker 2: three and then moved away.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Good on your Rob.
- 40:32Speaker 2: I'm very impressed he was Canadian. Very impressed that you
- 40:35Speaker 2: got that. Yea is basically Canada.
- 40:39Speaker 4: Same thing Dana seems Canadian. Doesn't know.
- 40:42Speaker 2: How how did you come to the conclusion that it
- 40:44Speaker 2: was Dana and that it.
- 40:45Speaker 4: Was because Wayne's World ninety one.
- 40:47Speaker 3: I knew I did ninety I knew I did Wayn's
- 40:49Speaker 3: World ninety one. And I'm thinking Mike is obviously famously,
- 40:53Speaker 3: famously famously from Toronto U and so could it be Dana?
- 40:58Speaker 4: And I'm like, well, I don't know that he wasn't
- 41:00Speaker 4: born there.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Huh.
- 41:02Speaker 4: So I'm going good on you, Rob.
- 41:04Speaker 2: So we only got one question left, only have one question.
- 41:09Speaker 2: This is the last question. I don't even have a
- 41:11Speaker 2: tiebreaker if we need it.
- 41:12Speaker 1: You don't have a tie break.
- 41:13Speaker 2: I don't have a tie breaker. Well, Rob, will just
- 41:15Speaker 2: get it right and then it'll be it'll be done.
- 41:18Speaker 1: You better come up with one.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Okay, I'll think about it.
- 41:20Speaker 1: You probably got a whole stash.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Of Yeah, we can get to that. Crack open the
- 41:24Speaker 2: board game, all right, get to get your hands on
- 41:26Speaker 2: your buzzers. Here we go what nineteen ninety six movie
- 41:31Speaker 2: has a character named Norm Gunderson played by John Carrol Lynch,
- 41:35Speaker 2: who gets second place in a duck stamp painting competition.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Steve Fargo.
- 41:41Speaker 2: That's correct, Fargo is right, God damn it, Norm Gunderson.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Yeah. It was the director's to be wife, Francis McDorman.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Francis mcderman's husband was a duck stamp painter.
- 42:00Speaker 2: You're saying the in the movie. In the movie, yeah, Now,
- 42:03Speaker 2: Norm Gunderson loses to Hotman, who is a real life
- 42:07Speaker 2: artist and one of the winningest competitors in the duck
- 42:09Speaker 2: stamp competition. Here's Norm delivering the news to his wife.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Can we play it so good? I don't know where
- 42:16Speaker 2: it's gonna show.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Up at.
- 42:21Speaker 9: Amazing They announced it, they announced it. Yeah, so three
- 42:33Speaker 9: cent stamp your mallard.
- 42:37Speaker 10: Yeah, it's terrific.
- 42:41Speaker 9: It's just a threecent. It's terrific. Hofman's blue wing teal
- 42:45Speaker 9: got the twenty nine cent. People don't much use the
- 42:49Speaker 9: three cent.
- 42:50Speaker 10: Of course they do whenever they raise the postage. People
- 42:55Speaker 10: need the little stamps. Yeah, when they're stuck with a
- 43:00Speaker 10: bunch of the old ones.
- 43:02Speaker 9: Yeah, I guess.
- 43:07Speaker 10: It's terrific. I'm so pretty norm. Heck, Norm, you know,
- 43:14Speaker 10: we're doing pretty good.
- 43:18Speaker 1: It's like watching Chester and his wife and Fetter.
- 43:23Speaker 11: I'm gonna say this is how I feel right now,
- 43:25Speaker 11: down one to both of you.
- 43:28Speaker 3: That movie is absolutely spectacular, but yeah.
- 43:33Speaker 4: Just unbelievable.
- 43:34Speaker 1: The the two things I like most of that movie
- 43:36Speaker 1: is when.
- 43:40Speaker 3: What's his name he's out, Yeah, yeah, he's like he's.
- 43:44Speaker 1: A bit of an outdoorsman. When william S Macy gets
- 43:47Speaker 1: shot and a little down feather, down feather that comes
- 43:52Speaker 1: out of his jacket, it's just so it's like so
- 43:56Speaker 1: upsetting that right over his heart.
- 43:57Speaker 4: Really upsetting.
- 43:58Speaker 1: It's a little flustered down.
- 44:00Speaker 4: It really is amazing, isn't it.
- 44:03Speaker 1: It's so it's like you could have it be like,
- 44:05Speaker 1: you know, Quentin Tarantino would have had to be like
- 44:07Speaker 1: gallons of blood, you know, but just this little down
- 44:10Speaker 1: feathered somehow more it's just more devastating, you know. And
- 44:14Speaker 1: the other think is when that dude's trying to mark
- 44:16Speaker 1: where he's got this money hidden, it's just his never
- 44:19Speaker 1: ending highway. He takes that a little stick and jets
- 44:23Speaker 1: that stick of.
- 44:25Speaker 7: Ice scraper or whatever.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Yeah, that what it was, and he's like, he looks,
- 44:29Speaker 1: He's like Jesus, gonna be hard to find.
- 44:32Speaker 2: So we had Steve and Rob tie with two points each.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Randall does not get to go to the top.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Doctor Randall.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Now in the game, when you go think about a
- 44:41Speaker 1: guy like doctor Randall over here.
- 44:43Speaker 4: I was impressed.
- 44:44Speaker 3: I mean, I'm very impressed with.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Doctor ran We have a lot in common. Yeah, we
- 44:50Speaker 4: neither of us is one sexiest man.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Now no, yeah, I'm gonna hand I'm gonna hand these
- 44:58Speaker 2: whiteboards to Steve and the white boards. We are going
- 45:01Speaker 2: to a tie breaker. This is going to be a
- 45:03Speaker 2: numerical question. Whoever is closest between the two of you
- 45:07Speaker 2: to the correct answer will be declared the winner. Here's
- 45:11Speaker 2: the tie breaking question.
- 45:12Speaker 4: Oh wait, do I wait?
- 45:13Speaker 1: Hang on, what's happening here?
- 45:16Speaker 2: So you're just going to write down over and then
- 45:18Speaker 2: you will wait to reveal until okay.
- 45:22Speaker 3: So we don't write it down.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Now we wait, you write it down and then I'll
- 45:26Speaker 2: tell you explained Hi, because they might want to use
- 45:29Speaker 2: this on the floor.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Explain how this goes.
- 45:34Speaker 2: No one's ever thought of this before. Americal question, whoever
- 45:38Speaker 2: is closest to the correct answer between the two of
- 45:41Speaker 2: you will be declared the winner.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Okay, great, don't want to get on that game. You
- 45:44Speaker 1: put in a word for me, will let's go?
- 45:47Speaker 4: Do you know anyone I got you do it?
- 45:50Speaker 2: Here is the question what year was Jaws released in theaters?
- 45:57Speaker 1: Really? Whoever is close? Answer?
- 46:00Speaker 9: Rob?
- 46:00Speaker 2: We don't need Steve cheating. How confident are you Robbed
- 46:04Speaker 2: that you have this close to the correct answer. Don't
- 46:07Speaker 2: give out any hints.
- 46:08Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I'm I'm pretty.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Sure, pretty sure, Steve.
- 46:12Speaker 4: How do you feel about it's one of two years?
- 46:15Speaker 1: I'm within, I'm within for sure, it's one or two,
- 46:17Speaker 1: I'm within, I'm within.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Four, within four? Oh thanks, he's within one or two?
- 46:24Speaker 1: Yeah? Can I tell you something real quick? But you
- 46:26Speaker 1: know you got a story about what was your what's
- 46:28Speaker 1: your about? Like an early film experience going to a
- 46:30Speaker 1: movie but you Cassidy? Yeah, Goldfinger. So I remember going
- 46:36Speaker 1: to where I grew up in Moskegon County, Michigan. We
- 46:39Speaker 1: had a theater. I don't think it's the anymore, called
- 46:41Speaker 1: Harbor Theater. It was right on like Miskegan Lake, and
- 46:46Speaker 1: I remember, you know, like this is a very very
- 46:50Speaker 1: early memory mine. I remember go pulling up with my
- 46:53Speaker 1: family at Harbor Theater and Empire Strikes Back was playing,
- 47:00Speaker 1: and I remember saying looking at the billboard the Marquee
- 47:05Speaker 1: and saying, that says Empire strikes Back. And my brother's
- 47:11Speaker 1: attacking me, saying, you can't read that. You just know
- 47:16Speaker 1: that that's what that says.
- 47:18Speaker 3: That's a good memory. That is though, that's when you're
- 47:21Speaker 3: not gonna forget.
- 47:22Speaker 1: I mean, it was like so little that I like,
- 47:24Speaker 1: I was at that like very precise moment when you
- 47:27Speaker 1: can't read but you recognize words.
- 47:30Speaker 4: Yeah, wow, yes.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Yeah I could.
- 47:32Speaker 4: I can cut you to your core.
- 47:35Speaker 1: Machine with me stamped you stayed with me before. You
- 47:39Speaker 1: just know what it says.
- 47:41Speaker 3: See your body hold shame, it holds it.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Which I could totally picture my kids like I could
- 47:48Speaker 1: picture my kids attacking one another about something like that,
- 47:51Speaker 1: just like making sure everybody's putting.
- 47:53Speaker 11: What would your reaction if you heard one kid say
- 47:55Speaker 11: that to the other at this point in your life.
- 47:57Speaker 1: I would say, do you is it really necessary? Just
- 47:59Speaker 1: like always do just everybody has to be put in
- 48:02Speaker 1: their place every morning over breakfast?
- 48:08Speaker 2: And then what would they say?
- 48:10Speaker 1: They wouldn't take that on They wouldn't wrestle with that one.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Steve, how many times have you seen Jaws?
- 48:18Speaker 1: Man?
- 48:19Speaker 3: I don't think I've seen it more than once? Probably
- 48:21Speaker 3: what because it's so it's just so escapable. I mean
- 48:24Speaker 3: to sit down and watch it through.
- 48:26Speaker 2: No, I like your chances, you're Rob. How many times
- 48:28Speaker 2: do you think you've seen it?
- 48:31Speaker 4: Fifty?
- 48:31Speaker 5: Oh?
- 48:33Speaker 1: Okay? But how many times did he watch through to
- 48:35Speaker 1: the end to see what you hear?
- 48:36Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 48:37Speaker 1: You know?
- 48:37Speaker 3: And by the way, I'm now one d per certain
- 48:39Speaker 3: I have it right.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Oh I have to you might need SD.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Okay, go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Steve
- 48:45Speaker 2: saying nineteen seventy now.
- 48:47Speaker 4: Not even way off.
- 48:48Speaker 3: We have what's your answer? I thought you couldn't read
- 48:52Speaker 3: nineteen Oh you know. That's the thing is, No, you
- 48:54Speaker 3: know what year he and that's.
- 48:55Speaker 4: How he did it?
- 48:56Speaker 1: No, No, not Jaws, Rob. What is your ant here?
- 49:00Speaker 1: The correct one, which is nineteen seventy five.
- 49:02Speaker 2: The correct answer is nineteen seventy five.
- 49:09Speaker 1: I'd like to revisit this because when I say you,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I said I was within four years. This is also
- 49:15Speaker 1: that's true. So you take your shot, you take four
- 49:19Speaker 1: years off. It puts me right at the right eighteen eighty.
- 49:21Speaker 7: So weirdly, that wasn't the question what you were striving for.
- 49:25Speaker 3: Well done, Rob, to see that you're keeping it in
- 49:28Speaker 3: my sweet spot a right, you start getting into like
- 49:30Speaker 3: in nineteen ninety seven, I'm like, I'm done too many
- 49:34Speaker 3: other interests.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Thanks for playing good ear.
- 49:37Speaker 3: Yeah all right, so I think I acquitted myself.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Okay, no, dude, and listen, I'm way excited. I know
- 49:42Speaker 1: it's a little it's a little early to call this
- 49:44Speaker 1: a promo for your show, but I'm very excited for
- 49:46Speaker 1: the show.
- 49:47Speaker 4: It's fun. It's really really good.
- 49:49Speaker 3: It's like great play along. You can watch it and
- 49:51Speaker 3: just have a blast.
- 49:52Speaker 1: You can compete with your family. Yeah, totally more competition.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Maybe we should have a viewing party, doctor Ry.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Yeah, that'd be a lot of fun.
- 49:59Speaker 2: Now this be the board game is yours, Rob, you
- 50:02Speaker 2: have one of the only ones in the world. This
- 50:04Speaker 2: doesn't come out until November. Then no, those those that
- 50:08Speaker 2: stage extra, but that is yours sealed. And all those
- 50:11Speaker 2: questions you just heard are actually from the board game.
- 50:13Speaker 2: The only question you have a spoil that's right, right.
- 50:17Speaker 3: I've done just so you know, kids, I've done three of.
- 50:19Speaker 4: These, uh huh.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Sadly, now, I think you've heard almost all the cinema
- 50:22Speaker 2: questions in the game. It was it was worth it.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Those are good.
- 50:25Speaker 4: Those are good cinema questions.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Thank you. Any of them would be worthy of the floor.
- 50:29Speaker 4: All of them.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Oh, that's the kind of thing.
- 50:31Speaker 4: That's the flavor compliment.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I think.
- 50:34Speaker 3: I think the I think that uh, the the duck
- 50:38Speaker 3: one might be too. I don't know, you can't. You
- 50:41Speaker 3: got to hit the right thing, like it can't be
- 50:43Speaker 3: too obscure. M And if they're obscure, they have to
- 50:47Speaker 3: have the aha at the end of it, like or
- 50:50Speaker 3: like where the viewer goes. I have no idea, I
- 50:52Speaker 3: could I could guess for a thousand years and not
- 50:54Speaker 3: have an idea and then when they hear the answer,
- 50:55Speaker 3: thing of course.
- 50:58Speaker 4: Like that's the sweet spot.
- 50:59Speaker 1: What Spencer is it? Like Spencer doesn't like trick questions.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Me neither, And he doesn't like questions that A lot
- 51:07Speaker 1: of people submit questions and they think like here's like
- 51:09Speaker 1: here's one no one will know. It's like that's not hard,
- 51:13Speaker 1: that's that's not hard. You know, like how many hairs
- 51:16Speaker 1: around a dog? You know, it's like where.
- 51:18Speaker 11: Did I catch my first fish.
- 51:22Speaker 1: All right, uh, Rob Low, thank you very much, Thank
- 51:26Speaker 1: you appreciate coming on the show man, thanks for playing
- 51:28Speaker 1: your board game, and and and and good luck with
- 51:30Speaker 1: the show. And I will be watching in my email
- 51:32Speaker 1: for for for my invite for me and doctor Randall
- 51:36Speaker 1: to come down to participate. And I'm gonna want to
- 51:38Speaker 1: have a lot of input on what squares are there though,
- 51:41Speaker 1: tell it, Tell the producers it's gonna wind up being
- 51:44Speaker 1: just there's gonna be a couple of squares.
- 51:47Speaker 4: Love it. You want to have a home field advantage.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Instead of wild animals, there's gonna be a square of mammals.
- 51:52Speaker 1: There's gonna be a square like invertebrates.
- 51:58Speaker 3: Rates invertebrates would actually be really amazing.
- 52:03Speaker 11: I'd like to meet that guy whoever occupies the invertebrate square.
- 52:06Speaker 3: I'm for the invertebrates.
- 52:07Speaker 11: Yes, you just know how you right, I'm sure you
- 52:11Speaker 11: assembled quite a cast of characters.
- 52:13Speaker 4: Oh for sure.

- 52:25Speaker 3: world on my show. If you like this, you'll hate it.
- 52:28Speaker 4: No, I'm kidding. If you like this, you'll love it.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Tell people even more, like, what if you're gonna hold
- 52:33Speaker 1: out an episode as being a shining example? Yeah, who
- 52:37Speaker 1: would you suggest? And kind of knowing a little bit
- 52:39Speaker 1: about our subject matter, who should they go? Listen? Oh?
- 52:41Speaker 3: Boy, Chris Pratt is great.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Oh Chris fish together?
- 52:46Speaker 4: Yeah, we fished together. He's Oh, he's really he's.
- 52:50Speaker 3: Super into I mean, he has his own farm, is
- 52:53Speaker 3: you know, go, this is the lamb off of my farm.
- 52:55Speaker 3: You know, we have Thanksgivings together and he has all
- 52:58Speaker 3: the meats.
- 52:58Speaker 4: You know, it's he's really really into it.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Okay, So go to Rob Lows literally, Yeah, you pull
- 53:05Speaker 1: up the Chris Pratt episode and dig in. And then
- 53:08Speaker 1: when you finished listening to that, wait a year or
- 53:10Speaker 1: so when you can watch the floor. And then in
- 53:13Speaker 1: two years you'll be able to watch me and doctor
- 53:15Speaker 1: Randall clean that floor up.
- 53:16Speaker 4: They're gonna the floor already. I'm already salvating it.
- 53:20Speaker 1: We're gonna be standing together on a little square.
- 53:22Speaker 4: In the end we can go back to back on
- 53:25Speaker 4: the same square and just so good.
- 53:28Speaker 2: I gotta tie up a loose end real quick.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Yeah, go ahead.
- 53:30Speaker 2: So here's the headline, says Rob Low named sexiest Actor Alive. Oh,
- 53:34Speaker 2: there you go, but has a retraction says, this story
- 53:37Speaker 2: seems to be false. It doesn't say that I did
- 53:41Speaker 2: right here comin It saysn't read that. This guy's like
- 53:43Speaker 2: an up date and the update is from today, which
- 53:46Speaker 2: I don't even understand. How like if I feel like
- 53:48Speaker 2: I'm being played here, it says from September twenty sixth,
- 53:51Speaker 2: twenty twenty three. This story seems to be false.
- 53:53Speaker 3: This is probably some weird Well, first of all, let's
- 53:56Speaker 3: let's just take a second and unpack. Uh huh, this
- 54:00Speaker 3: story seems to be false.
- 54:02Speaker 4: What that really means?
- 54:04Speaker 1: Are you seriously show the screen?
- 54:06Speaker 2: It says, I'll read you the words. Rob Low, fifty nine,
- 54:09Speaker 2: has been dubbed the Sexiest Actor Alive by Glamours magazine
- 54:13Speaker 2: in its October twenty twenty three issue out this week,
- 54:16Speaker 2: and then right below that before the rest of the
- 54:18Speaker 2: thing continues to says update, this story seems to be false.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Do you mean like a weird like, uh this, I
- 54:25Speaker 2: feel like this is gonna give me virus?
- 54:26Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 54:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like a weird Oh yeah, I'm gonna get
- 54:29Speaker 2: i'mnna get viruses from this website, from that virus.
- 54:36Speaker 1: We're gonna get.
- 54:36Speaker 11: We're gonna get you to in one of these I've
- 54:38Speaker 11: always you know, I've had the the PhD thing hanging
- 54:41Speaker 11: over my head in this podcast realm. Yeah, but thank
- 54:45Speaker 11: god it's not the sexiest man.
- 54:48Speaker 1: I mean to have to like withstand the criticism about
- 54:51Speaker 1: your PhD is a lot is preferable to yeah, to
- 54:55Speaker 1: not being you know, dubbed. I don't want to say anymore.
- 54:59Speaker 4: Heavy lif This seems to be false.
- 55:01Speaker 3: So somebody, I think they clearly were like, I'm not
- 55:05Speaker 3: gonna let go of this anytime easily. Somebody was like, no, no,
- 55:08Speaker 3: that can't be right.
- 55:09Speaker 4: They took a look at me.
- 55:10Speaker 3: That can't be right.
- 55:11Speaker 4: We can't disprove it, but it seems highly unlike see
- 55:14Speaker 4: that's yeah.
- 55:15Speaker 3: That's the only takeaway I can get from that forward
- 55:18Speaker 3: to link over.
- 55:19Speaker 4: We can parse this probably for for quite some time.
- 55:22Speaker 3: I gotta I gotta get the phone to Glamour magazine.
- 55:25Speaker 1: I had a friend who used to work there.
- 55:27Speaker 3: Actually, Uh, Genevieve, Well, I will just say listen. At
- 55:30Speaker 3: the end of the day, I'd rather win it from
- 55:32Speaker 3: glamour than people glamor.
- 55:35Speaker 4: Glamorous.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Ye know, it's a good it's a good association.
- 55:38Speaker 4: People is like, you know whatever, they'll do.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Anything for a buck.
- 55:44Speaker 3: Alright, go trivia champion. Oh yeah, maybe next year you

- 55:59Speaker 2: Like Rob's showedn't come out yet, come out?
- 56:01Speaker 1: Who won your show?
- 56:02Speaker 3: I can't that.
