SPEAKER_00: Hi, and welcome to Sassin Sips, your favorite watch-rewatch podcast featuring your favorite friends, Lisa and Agnes.
• 0:20
SPEAKER_00: I'm Lisa, and I'm sipping on a little of the red Cabernet Sauvignon because I like pronouncing the word and it makes me feel fancy.
• 0:31
SPEAKER_00: I think I've been sipping too much already.
• 0:35
  SPEAKER_01: I co-signed that, Lisa.
• 0:37
SPEAKER_01: I'm here for it all.
• 0:38
SPEAKER_01: And I'm Agnes, and I'm just sleeping on coffee today because my brain's not working, and we don't want it pickled even more.
• 0:48
  SPEAKER_01: I know.
• 0:48
  SPEAKER_01: Boo.
• 0:50
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I have straight to I have straight tequila.
• 0:54
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I'm not doing straight tequila right now.
• 0:57
SPEAKER_01: I don't have anything else to mix with it.
• 0:59
  SPEAKER_01: I'm like, we don't want that.
• 1:00
SPEAKER_01: You don't want Agnes on shots, shots, shots, shots.
• 1:04
  SPEAKER_01: You don't want that.
• 1:06
SPEAKER_01: I mean, you might, but not on a podcast.
• 1:18
SPEAKER_00: When we were talking like four minutes ago, everything was fine.
• 1:21
SPEAKER_00: And then as soon as I hit record, I don't know why it's like yeah, of course.
• 1:30
SPEAKER_00: Alright, whatever, let's keep going.
• 1:32
SPEAKER_00: Ask me if I have any hot takes.
• 1:35
  SPEAKER_01: I wasn't going to.
• 1:36
  SPEAKER_01: No, I'm just joking.
• 1:37
  SPEAKER_01: I was.
• 1:38
SPEAKER_01: But I guess you would have some major hot takes considering you can't wait.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_00: I'm just so tired from this emotional fucking roller coaster journey that Mary Pat has taken me on.
• 1:51
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, am I watching Good Girls?
• 1:55
SPEAKER_00: Am I watching Law and Order?
• 1:57
SPEAKER_00: Am I fucking watching Dexter?
• 1:58
SPEAKER_00: What the hell am I watching here?
• 2:02
SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, as a life of a woman, that's our life anyway.
• 2:06
  SPEAKER_01: I guess.
• 2:07
SPEAKER_01: If you watch any one of our lives, you'll probably be watching any of those shows to begin with.
• 2:11
SPEAKER_00: So FYI, my husband is not a hunter, and my freezer is still bigger than that.
• 2:19
SPEAKER_00: I should have two freezers and they're both bigger than that.
• 2:22
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know what that was.
• 2:23
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that that that was like, okay, we can put like four TD dinners in here.
• 2:28
  SPEAKER_00: I'm I don't know.
• 2:29
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know what you're doing.
• 2:30
SPEAKER_01: Like a regular freezer a part of a refrigerator is bigger than that.
• 2:33
  SPEAKER_00: I know.
• 2:34
SPEAKER_00: So the best I think the best part, one of my favorite parts of the whole episode is Ruby is just like grouse, small game.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_00: Like she's just in a hood, that would have been me.
• 2:45
SPEAKER_00: Like, what the fuck are you putting in there?
• 2:49
SPEAKER_00: She's she's totally like separated herself from the current situation, and she is just focusing what's important.
• 2:59
SPEAKER_01: Like, what the fuck fixed in what fits in that?
• 3:01
  SPEAKER_01: Doesn't absolutely nothing.
• 3:05
  SPEAKER_00: Nothing.
• 3:06
SPEAKER_00: Like, um, you can store one chicken in there.
• 3:09
SPEAKER_00: Seriously, then you have a a big family, so you that's really just a waste of money.
• 3:15
SPEAKER_00: What like what are you putting?
• 3:16
SPEAKER_00: Four ice pops for your four kids?
• 3:18
SPEAKER_00: Well, three, because the baby can't even eat that shit yet.
• 3:21
SPEAKER_00: Um, that's all that fits.
• 3:24
SPEAKER_00: And then I know Beth has a lot of shit going on in her life, but that scene with the kid and her with the principal, I was like, why the fuck are you minimizing this kid's behavior?
• 3:35
SPEAKER_00: Like your kid's got a problem and you need to fucking address it.
• 3:38
SPEAKER_00: Like, this is how terrible fucking children turn into even worse fucking adults.
• 3:45
SPEAKER_00: Ugh like, and that that kid is already an asshole, so like genetically speaking, he got Dean as a father.
• 3:53
SPEAKER_01: So I guess he was already in the like, you know, the fuck up lane to begin with.
• 3:58
SPEAKER_00: And and one last thing.
• 4:01
  SPEAKER_00: Didn't they have a dog?
• 4:03
SPEAKER_00: Didn't the the Beth family have a dog?
• 4:06
  SPEAKER_01: The Beth family?
• 4:07
SPEAKER_00: Um I can't think of their name, their last name.
• 4:10
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know, Boland.
• 4:11
  SPEAKER_01: Um yeah.
• 4:13
  SPEAKER_01: I think so.
• 4:14
SPEAKER_01: I want to say that they did.
• 4:15
SPEAKER_00: Because didn't they have like a shaggy little dog that they were playing with?
• 4:18
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then when the in the part where she's like sneaking back into the house, I'm like, okay.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_00: Well, is the dog off duty?
• 4:26
SPEAKER_01: Because Well, sometimes if the dog knows it's you, they're like, oh.
• 4:30
  SPEAKER_01: No.
• 4:31
  SPEAKER_00: Really?
• 4:31
SPEAKER_00: Because that that's a useless fucking dog.
• 4:33
SPEAKER_00: Because even my dog is kind of like, oh, hey mom, I missed you.
• 4:38
SPEAKER_00: Either the dog is useless or the dog doesn't like her because And the dog didn't like, I think the dog would be like growling.
• 4:44
SPEAKER_01: Maybe the dog was in bed when the kid's sleeping.
• 4:47
  SPEAKER_01: But that's what I'm saying.
• 4:48
SPEAKER_00: But like he doesn't like her enough to get up out of bed to greet her.
• 4:51
SPEAKER_00: Because my dog, she always.
• 4:54
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 4:54
SPEAKER_01: Well, maybe the writers forgot to write the dog in this episode.
• 4:59
SPEAKER_00: The dog was on a union break.
• 5:03
  SPEAKER_01: As he should be.
• 5:05
SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'm done with my hot takes.
• 5:08
  SPEAKER_00: That was it?
• 5:09
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was it.
• 5:10
SPEAKER_00: You know, just a little.
• 5:12
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 5:14
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 5:15
SPEAKER_00: That's the end of our show.
• 5:16
SPEAKER_00: Thank you guys for coming.
• 5:17
SPEAKER_00: We'll see you next week.
• 5:19
  unknown: No.
• 5:19
SPEAKER_00: No, I I I spent all my time writing notes for Married at First Sight.
• 5:23
  SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
• 5:24
  SPEAKER_00: No, that's good.
• 5:25
  SPEAKER_00: That's fine.
• 5:25
  SPEAKER_01: Um, because my brain.
• 5:27
SPEAKER_01: Well, luckily, this week, well, the week that we're recording, I guess she was focused on my notes that week.
• 5:34
  SPEAKER_01: So it's good.
• 5:38
  SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
• 5:40
SPEAKER_01: I've had a day, so everyone has to you have to forgive me.
• 5:44
SPEAKER_00: So uh uh so behind the scenes, Agnes has had a day and she was on the wrong episode.
• 5:49
SPEAKER_00: So But I was I was ahead at least.
• 5:53
  SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
• 5:55
SPEAKER_01: Can we just curl up?
• 5:57
SPEAKER_01: Okay, we're gonna take everyone else's hot takes for this episode.
• 6:01
  SPEAKER_01: Just call it now.
• 6:03
  SPEAKER_01: Call us now.
• 6:04
  SPEAKER_01: No?
• 6:05
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 6:05
SPEAKER_00: Call us now into the past when we like clear.
• 6:09
  SPEAKER_01: Call me now.
• 6:10
SPEAKER_00: You can't even hear us asking?
• 6:11
  SPEAKER_00: Guys.
• 6:12
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 6:13
  SPEAKER_01: We should go live.
• 6:14
SPEAKER_00: When you hear us asking, you'll have to call into the past.
• 6:17
SPEAKER_00: I hope you have a time machine.
• 6:19
SPEAKER_01: We should uh we should do our show live.
• 6:22
  SPEAKER_01: Girl.
• 6:25
  SPEAKER_00: That would be funny.
• 6:26
SPEAKER_00: There's not enough shovels for the mess that we're about to make.
• 6:30
SPEAKER_00: I mean, Ruby has them all, but still.
• 6:34
SPEAKER_01: So we start this episode.
• 6:36
SPEAKER_01: Did you get the title?
• 6:37
SPEAKER_01: You reached the voicemail of Leslie Peterson?
• 6:40
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 6:40
  SPEAKER_01: You might have.
• 6:41
  SPEAKER_01: I really don't know.
• 6:41
  SPEAKER_01: I'm asking because I don't know.
• 6:43
SPEAKER_00: You have reached the voicemail of Leslie Peterson.
• 6:46
SPEAKER_00: That's the name of the episode.
• 6:47
  SPEAKER_00: It's episode three.
• 6:48
  SPEAKER_00: Season two, episode three.
• 6:49
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I said that.
• 6:50
  SPEAKER_00: I I was no.
• 6:52
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 6:54
SPEAKER_01: The episode starts with Beth, Annie, and Ruby waiting outside the back of the grocery store for Boomer to come out.
• 7:03
SPEAKER_01: This time Beth is ready.
• 7:05
SPEAKER_01: She's gonna take the shot.
• 7:08
SPEAKER_01: She's um kind of against like the wall, hiding, waiting for him to come out to the groceries to take the trash out.
• 7:18
SPEAKER_01: And like a true professional, because Rio's lesson must have took.
• 7:23
SPEAKER_01: She checks to make sure that it's loaded and ready to go.
• 7:27
SPEAKER_01: Of course, boom, does it come out?
• 7:29
  SPEAKER_01: It's Tyler.
• 7:30
SPEAKER_01: Annie and Ruby are freaking out.
• 7:32
SPEAKER_01: They're trying to call her, but I guess she's on silent, which is smart because I hated TV shows and movies when they keep their phone on.
• 7:39
SPEAKER_01: So she obviously has her phone on silent or turned off, which is amazing.
• 7:43
  SPEAKER_01: I'm proud of her.
• 7:44
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 7:44
SPEAKER_01: Um, in a moment of sheer panic, but genius, Annie leans on the horn.
• 7:51
SPEAKER_01: And Tyler's like, hey, Annie.
• 7:56
  SPEAKER_01: What's going on?
• 7:57
SPEAKER_01: Beth is like, holy shit, I almost killed this kid.
• 8:02
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 8:03
SPEAKER_01: So she's like the moment, okay, part of it when she just uh slides down the wall, you could tell she's like, I she couldn't, even if it was boomer, she couldn't.
• 8:15
SPEAKER_01: I think even if it was boomer, I don't think she would she would have been able to do it.
• 8:18
SPEAKER_01: But it was relief that she didn't have to kill someone.
• 8:21
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 8:22
SPEAKER_01: It was a relief that was Tyler.
• 8:23
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 8:23
SPEAKER_01: It was relief relief that Annie was able to warn the situation.
• 8:30
  SPEAKER_01: Uh relief all around.
• 8:32
SPEAKER_01: But the way she, you have to be proud of her because she clipped she emptied, she cleared the magazine, emptied the the chamber to clear out the gun.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_01: Another point to be made, like a boss.
• 8:50
  SPEAKER_01: She did it correctly.
• 8:52
SPEAKER_01: Because I was looking for that.
• 8:54
SPEAKER_01: But you know, I was like, what if Lisa remembers her lessons, but your 30-second lessons now?
• 9:01
SPEAKER_00: No, because I'm like, here, load this for me so I can shoot it.
• 9:05
SPEAKER_00: And then after I shot it, I handed it back to you and was like, here, unload that shit for me.
• 9:12
SPEAKER_00: So hopefully, if I ever encounter a bad guy and I get his gun, that shit is ready to go.
• 9:16
SPEAKER_00: Because I can point and shoot and hit my target, but you were very good at that.
• 9:20
SPEAKER_00: I don't know how to load or unload that shit.
• 9:22
SPEAKER_00: So I'll get you, I'll get you there because it's gotta be ready to go.
• 9:26
SPEAKER_01: I'll get you there because um the way this is the way this fucking country is going, you're gonna learn how you're gonna have to learn how to shoot.
• 9:33
SPEAKER_01: Well, I know how to shoot.
• 9:34
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know how to load.
• 9:35
SPEAKER_01: You're gonna have to learn how to handle a weapon.
• 9:37
  SPEAKER_01: Let me replay.
• 9:38
  SPEAKER_00: I okay.
• 9:39
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, excuse me, Mr.
• 9:41
  SPEAKER_00: Badley.
• 9:41
SPEAKER_00: Can you just load this for me?
• 9:43
SPEAKER_01: We're gonna teach you how to load it, unload it, make sure it's cleared, clean, how to clean it, how to dismantle it and clean it.
• 9:49
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 9:51
  SPEAKER_01: I don't want to do that.
• 9:52
SPEAKER_01: You're gonna well when Armageddon hits, it's gonna be the wild, wild west all over again.
• 9:57
  SPEAKER_01: You're gonna have to.
• 9:59
SPEAKER_00: Well, I'll be like the guy on The Walking Dead.
• 10:03
  SPEAKER_00: I'll I'll get a bat.
• 10:04
SPEAKER_00: I have my bats, I'll put some nails in it.
• 10:06
  SPEAKER_00: I got a dog.
• 10:08
  SPEAKER_00: We're ready.
• 10:10
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 10:11
  SPEAKER_01: And me.
• 10:12
  SPEAKER_01: You have me.
• 10:13
SPEAKER_00: Okay, that yeah, that's true.
• 10:14
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 10:15
SPEAKER_01: So just head my direction, okay?
• 10:20
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 10:21
SPEAKER_00: Honestly, we should have to do that.
• 10:22
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 10:22
  SPEAKER_00: I might I might I might head east.
• 10:25
  SPEAKER_00: Into the water?
• 10:26
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 10:29
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 10:29
SPEAKER_00: I'm just I'm gonna walk my ass.
• 10:32
SPEAKER_00: There is a beach in my town.
• 10:34
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna walk my ass right to the beach and I don't know, start swimming, get on.
• 10:39
SPEAKER_00: I got my big old TikTok raft.
• 10:40
SPEAKER_00: I might just take that.
• 10:41
  SPEAKER_00: It's giant.
• 10:43
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 10:44
SPEAKER_00: Let's just float on over to England.
• 10:47
  SPEAKER_00: Sunny England.
• 10:50
  SPEAKER_01: I need new friends.
• 10:53
SPEAKER_00: Well, there's room on it for you two.
• 10:55
  SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm I'll head east.
• 10:56
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 10:57
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 10:58
SPEAKER_01: At this point, it's a pretty safe bet that boomers in some kind of custody.
• 11:03
SPEAKER_00: Right, because Tyler is like, oh yeah, he he didn't come in today.
• 11:08
SPEAKER_00: Right, he didn't come in.
• 11:09
SPEAKER_00: So we could kind of put the two together.
• 11:14
SPEAKER_01: So we get we get that confirmation when Beth meets Rio at the park.
• 11:19
SPEAKER_01: And in typical Rio and Beth fashion, it's all baby clandestine.
• 11:23
SPEAKER_01: They're sitting apart, trying not trying to be subtle, speak but not speak.
• 11:29
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 11:29
  SPEAKER_01: Very um the Americans.
• 11:31
SPEAKER_01: Have you seen that show?
• 11:33
SPEAKER_00: I I watched the first episode and it was filmed.
• 11:37
SPEAKER_00: A lot of it was filmed in our old neighborhood, like on Yuston Street.
• 11:40
  SPEAKER_00: Really?
• 11:40
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 11:41
SPEAKER_01: I have to go back and watch it.
• 11:42
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 11:43
SPEAKER_00: And but I I I gotta try again because I wasn't in the like frame of mind.
• 11:49
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 11:50
SPEAKER_00: Like and it was just that there was a lot of other shit going on when I sat down to watch it and I was like, okay, I can concentrate.
• 11:55
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 11:56
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 11:58
  SPEAKER_01: Fair.
• 11:59
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because my dad was like, oh, it's really good.
• 12:01
SPEAKER_00: And and I knew that a lot like parts of it were filmed because somebody that I know that still lives over there, she's mentioned it, and I was like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 12:09
SPEAKER_00: But um, I'll try again.
• 12:12
SPEAKER_01: Okay, maybe we could try again together.
• 12:15
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 12:16
SPEAKER_00: Because I've literally seen most of the first episode, and and even that's a stretch because I have paid attention.
• 12:22
  SPEAKER_00: So if you've seen it, I haven't.
• 12:24
SPEAKER_01: I've seen it, bits and pieces.
• 12:25
SPEAKER_01: And I'm for the same reason I it was just too much going on in my head.
• 12:29
SPEAKER_01: It was and I had to pay attention.
• 12:30
SPEAKER_01: I wanted to watch it and I wanted to like it.
• 12:32
SPEAKER_01: I said, oh, I'll come back to it.
• 12:34
  SPEAKER_01: And just never.
• 12:35
SPEAKER_00: So then it's not a watch rewatch.
• 12:37
SPEAKER_01: I think it should no it's just the watch watch.
• 12:40
SPEAKER_01: I don't think we should watch it for the podcast.
• 12:42
SPEAKER_01: I just want to watch it to enjoy it.
• 12:45
  unknown: Okay.
• 12:46
SPEAKER_01: I don't want to watch to work.
• 12:47
  SPEAKER_01: I'm tired of work.
• 12:48
SPEAKER_01: I don't want everything to be about work.
• 12:50
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 12:51
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 12:51
  SPEAKER_01: Jesus.
• 12:52
  SPEAKER_01: Jesus Christ.
• 12:53
  SPEAKER_01: Just keep going.
• 12:54
  SPEAKER_01: Jesus Christ on toast.
• 12:58
SPEAKER_01: I don't think he would like that.
• 12:59
  SPEAKER_01: No, I don't know who where'd I get that from?
• 13:02
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 13:04
  SPEAKER_01: Something I read.
• 13:05
SPEAKER_00: I was watching the show yesterday, and the little old Southern lady was like, Oh, she's going to hell on a scholarship.
• 13:12
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I love that.
• 13:14
  SPEAKER_00: I like that one.
• 13:15
  SPEAKER_00: That'd be a scholarship I'd qualify for.
• 13:21
SPEAKER_00: Alex is like, she's you're going to hell on a spaceship?
• 13:25
  SPEAKER_00: What?
• 13:26
  SPEAKER_00: I was like, scholarship.
• 13:28
  SPEAKER_00: That's why it's funny.
• 13:29
  SPEAKER_00: Not spaceship.
• 13:30
SPEAKER_01: Like he didn't get that scholarship.
• 13:34
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 13:36
  SPEAKER_00: Love you, boo.
• 13:37
  SPEAKER_00: Sorry, Alex.
• 13:39
SPEAKER_00: I could feel the finger I'm getting right now.
• 13:43
  SPEAKER_01: In the future.
• 13:44
SPEAKER_01: You can the future you give in the future.
• 13:47
SPEAKER_00: I already feel it from the time machine that we don't have.
• 13:51
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 13:51
SPEAKER_01: So based on this confirmation from Rio, Beth is like, oh, I don't have to get rid of him.
• 13:56
SPEAKER_01: He's nothing I can do about it.
• 14:00
SPEAKER_01: Rio once again reminds her that she needs to step up and be the bad bitch that she is.
• 14:06
  SPEAKER_01: Kind of sort of.
• 14:08
SPEAKER_01: Like, and I like the fact that he keeps like, you wanted this shit.
• 14:12
SPEAKER_01: He keeps throwing it in her face.
• 14:14
SPEAKER_01: He is like their gangster mom, okay?
• 14:18
SPEAKER_01: He's the very godfather of gangsters.
• 14:20
SPEAKER_01: Like, you wanted this shit and you're trying to put me away.
• 14:22
  SPEAKER_01: Bippidi papadi bang.
• 14:24
  SPEAKER_01: Bang.
• 14:26
  SPEAKER_01: I like that.
• 14:29
  SPEAKER_00: I'm a big fan of Cinderella.
• 14:32
  SPEAKER_01: What can I say?
• 14:33
SPEAKER_01: And have you noticed Beth looking stunned and worried at the same time is now her default look.
• 14:41
SPEAKER_00: Actually, now that you mention it, yeah.
• 14:43
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 14:45
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 14:47
SPEAKER_01: That's just that's just her default look now.
• 14:49
  SPEAKER_01: You're like, huh?
• 14:51
SPEAKER_01: Wide-eyed, holding her breast up.
• 14:53
SPEAKER_01: Whatever bra they have her in.
• 14:56
  unknown: Oh my god.
• 14:57
  SPEAKER_01: Just has her.
• 14:58
  SPEAKER_01: I think it's like a drown.
• 15:00
SPEAKER_01: I think it's like leftover from when she was in Mad Men.
• 15:02
  SPEAKER_01: And no.
• 15:04
  SPEAKER_01: Because she right.
• 15:05
  SPEAKER_01: Just like, hey.
• 15:07
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 15:07
SPEAKER_01: You can't even see her neck.
• 15:09
  SPEAKER_00: No.
• 15:10
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 15:11
SPEAKER_00: She must have terrible back issues.
• 15:13
  SPEAKER_01: Greg, I know.
• 15:14
SPEAKER_01: I feel sorry for her.
• 15:16
SPEAKER_01: Um, we get to see Marcus again.
• 15:19
  SPEAKER_01: Who's real son?
• 15:21
  SPEAKER_00: Oh.
• 15:22
  SPEAKER_00: I didn't know he I all I know is puppy.
• 15:27
SPEAKER_01: And these are just proof.
• 15:29
SPEAKER_01: This just scenes that that there's proof that being a good father and being a crime boss isn't mutually exclusive.
• 15:38
SPEAKER_01: Like you because and and I I am convinced a criminal lifestyle doing it well, i.e.
• 15:45
SPEAKER_01: like Rio was doing, that experience has to play a role into being a good parent and life lessons and you know.
• 15:56
SPEAKER_00: If you think about it, there's a lot of organizational aspects that you have to be mindful of, keep track of, and everything has a place, everything in its place.
• 16:10
  SPEAKER_00: It's there's a lot of discipline.
• 16:13
SPEAKER_01: It's like being a CEO and be like, oh, the CEO could teach us, but those kids don't learn because it's not life and death.
• 16:19
SPEAKER_01: So you kind of get like the both like, here's a lesson to be learned, and I have to learn this fucking lesson.
• 16:25
SPEAKER_00: So but also we get another comparison of you know, the gang, you know, the dangerous gang leader, right?
• 16:36
SPEAKER_00: The criminal element, and then you have the suburban white house mom, and and out of the two of them, which kid is the asshole?
• 16:48
SPEAKER_00: So you get you get another play on that, you know, a kid who is kind of like upset and is like, but I want to, and is immediately like, okay, but we have to wait our turn.
• 17:00
SPEAKER_00: You know, everybody gets a turn, and when it's your turn, and okay, you know, and let me go and and help you, let me go be with you and we'll wait together.
• 17:09
SPEAKER_00: And you got the other kid who's like, I just I'm just gonna do what I want and I take what I want.
• 17:13
SPEAKER_00: And then the parents like, oh, but is that why we're here?
• 17:17
SPEAKER_00: Actually, no, but we'll get there.
• 17:19
  SPEAKER_01: We'll get there.
• 17:20
  SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah.
• 17:22
SPEAKER_00: And I like that they I like that they play that against each other.
• 17:27
SPEAKER_01: I didn't catch that the first time watching it, but as you're watching TV and you're enjoying it, but when you're watching TV to discuss things, and as you're just discussing it, like did I catch it then?
• 17:40
  SPEAKER_01: No.
• 17:40
SPEAKER_00: But talking to you and us talking, things well, in fairness, I think I watched this episode like four times because I watched it when we were supposed to record, and then we we shit was going on, we didn't, or whatever.
• 17:56
SPEAKER_00: And then I watched it that morning, we were supposed to record again, and then shit definitely got away from me.
• 18:03
SPEAKER_00: And then I watched it uh well, maybe three times I watched it.
• 18:08
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 18:09
SPEAKER_00: We were supposed to record it twice and it missed it.
• 18:12
SPEAKER_00: I guess, or or maybe I watched it twice for that first record.
• 18:15
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 18:15
SPEAKER_00: I don't know, but I remember seeing this episode like so many times.
• 18:21
  SPEAKER_01: I I I remember watching the episode.
• 18:24
  SPEAKER_01: I was good.
• 18:24
SPEAKER_01: I wrote my notes, I watched, I went my I was really on point to the point where I forgot we didn't, I was so like ingrained in me, I forgot we didn't, I didn't realize we didn't speak about it.
• 18:35
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, because we were supposed to record, and then I I had to record early because I had like just so much to do that day.
• 18:43
SPEAKER_00: And then by the time that you were ready to record, because I was like, oh, it's okay, I'll just get started on my shit, and then when you're ready, I'll and by then, yeah, I was like, Oh shit, there is absolutely no way, but like I am up to my face in yeah I'm just like last literally impossible.
• 19:03
SPEAKER_01: That week was kind of supposed to be like an off week anyway, and if we can do it, great.
• 19:07
SPEAKER_01: So it's kind of worked out good, yeah.
• 19:10
SPEAKER_01: Beth, now that she's armed with this new information, another attempt to kill Boomer is planned.
• 19:17
  SPEAKER_01: Round two, fight.
• 19:19
SPEAKER_01: Okay, that's how finish him.
• 19:22
  SPEAKER_01: Finish him.
• 19:25
SPEAKER_01: And thanks to Mary Pat, they're able to find it.
• 19:28
SPEAKER_01: Text us if you know where that's from.
• 19:30
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, text us.
• 19:32
SPEAKER_01: If you know, you know.
• 19:35
SPEAKER_01: Thanks to Mary Pat, they're able to figure out where he stayed and how to and they go to his motel room.
• 19:43
SPEAKER_01: Mary Pat would see, and we're like, whoa, Mary Pat, you're being useful.
• 19:47
SPEAKER_01: She all she had to do is spend five minutes with Boomer, honestly.
• 19:52
  SPEAKER_01: I know.
• 19:53
SPEAKER_01: Um, and as we know, we know her opinion of what she should what they should do with him.
• 19:59
SPEAKER_01: She was like, What's gonna happen?
• 20:01
SPEAKER_01: They're like, um, um, um, she was, I think we should kill him.
• 20:05
SPEAKER_00: They're like, oh she's like, oh, you we're gonna make sure that he can't bully us anymore.
• 20:09
SPEAKER_00: And obviously that was what they wanted to do was to kill him.
• 20:12
SPEAKER_00: But what are we gonna like?
• 20:13
SPEAKER_00: What are you gonna do?
• 20:13
SPEAKER_00: Like, what are we gonna tell her?
• 20:15
SPEAKER_01: We can't tell we're gonna kill him.
• 20:16
SPEAKER_00: And she's like, I think you should kill him.
• 20:18
  SPEAKER_00: Like, so flat.
• 20:21
SPEAKER_00: Like, oh, okay, Mary Pat, what?
• 20:23
  SPEAKER_01: But you know what?
• 20:24
SPEAKER_01: But like I said, you spend five minutes with the dude.
• 20:27
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
• 20:27
SPEAKER_01: Like the real boomer, and you're just like, oh lord.
• 20:33
SPEAKER_01: And of course, Annie and Beth go back and forth on um I don't want to kill him.
• 20:39
SPEAKER_01: No, I want to kill him.
• 20:40
SPEAKER_01: I want to kill him.
• 20:40
SPEAKER_01: No, I want to kill him.
• 20:42
SPEAKER_01: And as we know, Annie and Annie, Beth doesn't have the beck the best track record.
• 20:48
  SPEAKER_01: So Annie got chosen.
• 20:50
SPEAKER_01: Well, Annie also pulls the R card.
• 20:53
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 20:55
SPEAKER_01: She's like, I get to do it.
• 20:58
  SPEAKER_01: And as she should.
• 21:00
SPEAKER_01: But of course, you know, so she knocks on the door, the door opens, and it's Mary Pat opened the door for him.
• 21:09
SPEAKER_01: And I'm just like, oh, the pain.
• 21:12
  SPEAKER_01: The pain.
• 21:16
SPEAKER_01: So we all know Boomer is a horrible person.
• 21:19
  SPEAKER_01: Do we know?
• 21:21
  SPEAKER_01: I'm just kidding.
• 21:21
SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna know, just in case.
• 21:25
SPEAKER_00: I just I just said that for the look on your face.
• 21:28
SPEAKER_00: You guys, I'm sorry, you guys can't see, but like I got what I wanted.
• 21:32
SPEAKER_01: I was a little confused there for a hot second.
• 21:34
SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be like a I caught on the sarcasm, but it looked like a half a second too late.
• 21:38
SPEAKER_01: I was like, wait, what?
• 21:41
SPEAKER_01: But wait, my eyes are crossed.
• 21:42
  SPEAKER_01: Oh shit.
• 21:43
  SPEAKER_01: No, they're not.
• 21:46
  SPEAKER_00: Stop doing that.
• 21:47
SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not doing anything.
• 21:49
  SPEAKER_00: I feel like they're crossed.
• 21:50
  SPEAKER_00: I'm just look no, they're not.
• 21:52
SPEAKER_00: But then when you started doing like this, you're I wasn't trying to.
• 21:56
SPEAKER_01: That's why it freaked me out because I was just looking and they crossed on their own.
• 22:01
  SPEAKER_01: Oh fuck MS.
• 22:03
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 22:05
SPEAKER_01: They cross on I can't cross my eyes like that.
• 22:07
  SPEAKER_01: I okay.
• 22:09
  SPEAKER_00: Yay! Okay.
• 22:11
SPEAKER_00: Guys, send money because Agnes needs better MS doctors.
• 22:16
SPEAKER_01: No, I just need to stop having flares.
• 22:18
SPEAKER_01: Send money so I can stop having flares.
• 22:20
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 22:21
  SPEAKER_01: Holy shit.
• 22:50
  SPEAKER_00: It's not sent like I don't I don't s maybe it's because it it's on video, but like I don't see what you see.
• 22:58
SPEAKER_01: Been look like I can look at myself.
• 23:01
SPEAKER_01: If I'm looking at the video, I can see my eyes normal, but today they don't look normal.
• 23:07
SPEAKER_01: Mine look cross too then.
• 23:11
  SPEAKER_01: They don't something's off.
• 23:13
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 23:13
SPEAKER_01: I'll when I look in the mirror.
• 23:14
  SPEAKER_01: Oh Lord.
• 23:15
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 23:16
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 23:18
SPEAKER_00: Send money so Agnes can beat a mess.
• 23:22
SPEAKER_00: She's she's got listen, she's gotta go and married at first sight.
• 23:27
SPEAKER_00: Also head on over and listen to those episodes because those are a fucking doozy man.
• 23:33
  SPEAKER_00: Seriously though.
• 23:35
  SPEAKER_00: Send money.
• 23:40
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 23:41
SPEAKER_01: This next scene, uh we know he's a boomer is boomer.
• 23:44
SPEAKER_01: We know he's a horrible person and he's drunk, which makes it 10 times worse.
• 23:51
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 23:53
SPEAKER_01: And there was no confirmation, but we all kind of know we have an idea of what happened.
• 24:00
SPEAKER_00: Well, so here's here's the thing, right?
• 24:02
SPEAKER_01: Or what may have happened.
• 24:04
SPEAKER_00: When she called him, you know, she's trying to get the information about where he is.
• 24:09
SPEAKER_00: So she's like, Oh, the kids miss you, I miss you.
• 24:12
SPEAKER_01: You know, she's like, Yeah, I didn't go into details about that, did I?
• 24:15
  SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
• 24:16
  SPEAKER_00: No, it's okay.
• 24:16
SPEAKER_00: So, you know, she's really like laying it on thick so that she can get the information that she wants.
• 24:21
SPEAKER_01: Well, she did a good job of it because she did it without being too syrupy.
• 24:26
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 24:27
SPEAKER_01: And it was really good line, it was a good balance of getting him like wrangling him in without giving him an idea like she's bullshitting.
• 24:37
  SPEAKER_00: Suspicious, yeah.
• 24:38
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 24:39
SPEAKER_00: Because we don't see the three women at the time she's making the phone call.
• 24:46
SPEAKER_00: And so it's even believable to us that she's calling him.
• 24:51
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I did, I was like, oh no, they're definitely sitting there.
• 24:55
SPEAKER_00: But if they weren't sitting there, I would have been like, oh, okay.
• 25:00
SPEAKER_00: I didn't see that coming, but I can believe it.
• 25:02
  SPEAKER_00: I can believe right.
• 25:04
SPEAKER_01: She did really good job.
• 25:06
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 25:06
SPEAKER_00: So her saying, like, oh, and I guess I miss you.
• 25:09
SPEAKER_00: And then she's like, Oh, come on, Mary Pat, like, what are you doing?
• 25:11
SPEAKER_00: You know, and she's kind of berating herself on the out loud for him and whatever.
• 25:16
SPEAKER_00: So when he comes and he's like, he sees all the bags and he's like, wait, where are you going?
• 25:21
SPEAKER_00: And then he sees the closet and it's empty, and it's like, I feel like she could have been like, I'm taking the kids to my mom because I'm scared of, you know, like she could have bullshitted so easy.
• 25:33
SPEAKER_00: That that would have been my cover story.
• 25:35
SPEAKER_01: But at the same time, she really wasn't expecting him to be knocking on the door.
• 25:39
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 25:39
SPEAKER_00: But I'm just like, she just caught off crazy.
• 25:42
SPEAKER_00: I came up with a bullshit story in two minutes.
• 25:44
SPEAKER_00: Like, come on, just say, I'm taking the I'm taking the kids to my mom because I don't know what's going on with the FBI, and I'm just I just want to protect them.
• 25:53
  SPEAKER_00: Whatever.
• 25:53
SPEAKER_01: But also didn't give her a chance because she just looked at her and she, before she can even say anything, even if she was had a story, he made his way in the house, and then the next scene.
• 26:06
  SPEAKER_01: Right the next morning.
• 26:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you kind of see her sitting on the floor of the bedroom, and she's just wearing a shirt, and she's just kind of like it looks like she's been like crying or upset and just kind of zoned out, probably isn't the best word, but like zoned out.
• 26:27
  SPEAKER_01: She's yeah, she's out.
• 26:28
SPEAKER_01: She is just on automatic pilot.
• 26:32
  SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
• 26:33
SPEAKER_01: Um then she kind of she's definitely traumatized.
• 26:42
SPEAKER_01: And after one of her sons, the oldest, I'm assuming the oldest, comes to get her.
• 26:46
SPEAKER_01: She that's when she kind of like somewhat snaps out of it and starts getting them ready.
• 26:51
SPEAKER_01: We're going out for breakfast, or we're going to go out.
• 26:53
  SPEAKER_01: Let's go do something.
• 26:54
  SPEAKER_01: Let's pack a bag.
• 26:55
SPEAKER_00: Let's go, right, let's get back to the city.
• 26:56
SPEAKER_00: We're getting out the house.
• 26:57
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 26:58
SPEAKER_00: And let's go get your brothers.
• 26:59
  SPEAKER_00: Because the kid's like, I'm hungry.
• 27:01
  SPEAKER_00: I was calling you.
• 27:02
  SPEAKER_00: And she's like, Oh, I'm sorry.
• 27:04
SPEAKER_00: Like, let's go get breakfast, go get your brothers.
• 27:06
SPEAKER_00: Like, let's be really quiet.
• 27:08
SPEAKER_00: Let's and she because the kids like, and what about him?
• 27:10
SPEAKER_00: And then you see Boomer kind of just like laid out, laying on the bed, and she's like, Oh, let's let him sleep.
• 27:17
SPEAKER_00: You know, and and so like this is part of the emotions, right?
• 27:21
SPEAKER_00: It's like, okay, Mary Pat, you were helpful, you got him there, but then you kind of became wishy-washy, like, and I and I'm I'm so not like victim blaming, but also like I feel like you could have done more to advocate for yourself also in that moment.
• 27:42
SPEAKER_00: And I don't I don't know for a fact because like I'm I've not been in that situation, right?
• 27:47
SPEAKER_00: But like you didn't have to let him in.
• 27:49
SPEAKER_00: You call you could have not opened the door and called the police.
• 27:54
SPEAKER_00: Um, because you I feel like it's boomer, you know it's gonna be bad.
• 27:58
  SPEAKER_00: But anyway.
• 27:59
SPEAKER_01: Obviously, but it she also comes from a history of at least some kind of abuse because didn't her husband's gone and left her.
• 28:11
  SPEAKER_01: This picked up in.
• 28:13
  SPEAKER_01: He died.
• 28:14
  SPEAKER_01: I couldn't I can't remember.
• 28:15
  SPEAKER_00: He died.
• 28:16
  SPEAKER_00: That's abuse.
• 28:18
SPEAKER_00: I don't know why I thought it was something wrong.
• 28:20
SPEAKER_01: I just forgot and left.
• 28:21
  SPEAKER_01: I forgot about him.
• 28:22
SPEAKER_00: I mean, maybe maybe he maybe he did, and we just don't know that yet.
• 28:25
SPEAKER_00: But um Oh my god, I don't know why.
• 28:27
  SPEAKER_00: What the hell?
• 28:28
SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's another show that I'm watching.
• 28:30
  SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
• 28:31
SPEAKER_00: And so then, you know, and then like you see her here and you're like, oh my god, poor Mary Pat.
• 28:36
SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm I'm so sorry like that happened to you.
• 28:38
SPEAKER_00: Because even though you're a fucking pain in our collective asses, like you still don't want to see people hurt like that, you know?
• 28:46
SPEAKER_00: Like she doesn't deserve that.
• 28:48
SPEAKER_01: And I really get the feeling, like she doesn't seem like a person that goes through life sticking up for herself.
• 28:57
  SPEAKER_00: Mm-mm.
• 28:58
  SPEAKER_00: No.
• 28:59
SPEAKER_00: So although she seemed to be really good at collecting those$10,000 checks.
• 29:03
  SPEAKER_00: So, well, cash payments.
• 29:05
  SPEAKER_00: I mean, I don't know.
• 29:07
SPEAKER_01: Is that was is that her normal was that her normal MO though?
• 29:11
  SPEAKER_01: No, I don't I don't think it was saying that.
• 29:13
  SPEAKER_01: That's a question.
• 29:13
SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, that's not a question to be answered.
• 29:15
SPEAKER_01: That's one of those questions to throw out, you know.
• 29:17
SPEAKER_00: And so then, like, and then you see her there with her kids, and and she's trying to navigate getting them all to safety, and that's probably why she let him in, was to put herself in harm's way to keep her children safe.
• 29:33
  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it's easier.
• 29:34
  SPEAKER_00: Uh yeah.
• 29:35
SPEAKER_00: And so it's like you kind of see that that softer side of her, that maternal side of her that really makes you go, like, oh my god, like she's been through some shit for those kids.
• 29:46
SPEAKER_01: Even blackmail the girls, like she's a woman with four kids and obviously not without a job.
• 29:51
  SPEAKER_01: So you're like, okay.
• 29:55
SPEAKER_01: Like, at least every one of us would probably do the same.
• 30:00
SPEAKER_01: Like, do I go to jail or do I blackmail take care of my kids?
• 30:04
SPEAKER_01: Like, let me see what I can do.
• 30:06
SPEAKER_00: I don't think I would blackmail, I would just be like, hire me or I or I turn you in.
• 30:12
  SPEAKER_00: Because I don't I don't just want a payment.
• 30:14
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna earn it, but like I'm in.
• 30:16
SPEAKER_01: But there was something going on.
• 30:17
SPEAKER_01: She's like, you used us for something illegal, unbeknownst to us.
• 30:21
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, fuck you.
• 30:22
SPEAKER_01: If someone used you for something illegal, unbeknownst to you, you would be like, you know what, fuck you.
• 30:27
  SPEAKER_01: I want mine.
• 30:28
  SPEAKER_00: Maybe.
• 30:29
SPEAKER_00: So looking at that way.
• 30:31
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 30:31
  SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, right.
• 30:34
SPEAKER_00: But I only brought it up because you were like, well, she doesn't seem like a person who's good for at advocating for herself.
• 30:39
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, well, she didn't seem to have a problem asking for money.
• 30:42
  SPEAKER_00: Famously.
• 30:43
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know if I wouldn't either, though, you know.
• 30:45
  SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
• 30:46
SPEAKER_00: How how bad could she be?
• 30:49
SPEAKER_00: She seemed to come up with that off the fly.
• 30:53
SPEAKER_01: Um so she almost gets away, and we think we think, oh fuck, she's gonna get caught.
• 31:00
SPEAKER_00: And then Yeah, because she she finally gets them all in the van.
• 31:03
SPEAKER_00: They're all the kid is crying, the bags are in the car, and there's Boomer standing at the front door.
• 31:09
  SPEAKER_00: But boom!
• 31:11
  unknown: Yeah.
• 31:11
SPEAKER_01: Boomer gets ran over by a reindeer.
• 31:16
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 31:18
  SPEAKER_01: Boom was boomed.
• 31:20
SPEAKER_00: Um, and at the look at her face was like, oh, she's banging on the car, and he's calling her all kinds of names.
• 31:32
SPEAKER_00: Oh, you know what I mean?
• 31:33
SPEAKER_00: And she's just like, she just wants to get away.
• 31:35
SPEAKER_00: And then he runs behind the car.
• 31:37
  SPEAKER_00: Now, let's be honest.
• 31:40
SPEAKER_00: Reverse only goes to her towards her backyard.
• 31:43
SPEAKER_00: So I don't know why she didn't drive forward.
• 31:45
SPEAKER_00: Maybe she was nervous, maybe it was an accident, maybe it was on purpose.
• 31:48
  SPEAKER_00: I guess we'll never know.
• 31:50
SPEAKER_00: But really, she should have had that car.
• 31:53
  SPEAKER_00: Maybe.
• 31:54
SPEAKER_00: Because if she put the car and drive, she would have driven away from her home, onto the street, wherever she needed to go.
• 32:01
SPEAKER_01: But you know, reverse is before drive.
• 32:03
SPEAKER_01: So she it might have just been, you know what I mean?
• 32:05
SPEAKER_01: She might have been changing the gear and just didn't go all the way to the next gear.
• 32:09
SPEAKER_00: Could it have been an accident?
• 32:10
  SPEAKER_00: We don't know.
• 32:12
SPEAKER_00: You know, she could in that state, you're nervous.
• 32:14
SPEAKER_00: Like, here is a guy who's pounding on your car with your kids in it.
• 32:18
SPEAKER_01: So you just change the gear, you think you're in drive, but you're in reverse.
• 32:21
SPEAKER_01: And so new drivers do that.
• 32:23
SPEAKER_01: I've seen you know, a lot of stories of teenage new drivers, they've done that.
• 32:27
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so you know, and she backs right into him, and then she's looking at the kids, and the kids are just totally in their own world with their headphones, they're so oblivious.
• 32:36
SPEAKER_00: And and she's just kind of like, Oh.
• 32:41
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 32:42
  SPEAKER_01: That happened.
• 32:45
SPEAKER_01: Uh, the next scene, which is probably the funniest scene because it's just so like matter of fact.
• 32:50
SPEAKER_01: So Mary Pat explaining what happened to the girls.
• 32:54
SPEAKER_01: So you're no longer tense about the possible R thing and the kid and the in the running over him.
• 33:01
SPEAKER_01: Like that was a lot of heavy.
• 33:03
SPEAKER_01: And then all of a sudden you're like, well, you see why it happened though.
• 33:07
SPEAKER_01: So reliving that is kind of humorous, uh, if I do say so myself.
• 33:13
SPEAKER_01: And so she's But this was even more.
• 33:16
SPEAKER_00: This part was even more where it was like, okay, I don't blame you, girl.
• 33:20
SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, but then but why'd you but what?
• 33:23
  SPEAKER_00: But what?
• 33:26
SPEAKER_00: But I had to do this because of this, and then I had to put him in the freezer.
• 33:30
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 33:30
SPEAKER_00: Like, oh, too far, Mary Pat, too far.
• 33:32
SPEAKER_00: Then I had to cut up his dead body, and then I could have fitted in the freezer.
• 33:36
SPEAKER_00: She was like, Oh, but I didn't want the kids to see.
• 33:38
SPEAKER_00: Oh, but then it was hot.
• 33:40
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Ruby, a real scorcher.
• 33:44
SPEAKER_01: So I had to put in the freezer.
• 33:46
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 33:46
SPEAKER_01: But it was, you know, but I had to make room.
• 33:49
  SPEAKER_01: So I didn't fit.
• 33:50
  unknown: It didn't fit.
• 33:51
  SPEAKER_00: Huh?
• 33:52
  SPEAKER_00: Huh?
• 33:53
SPEAKER_00: Oh, and then and then I love what she's like, you know, like one of those knives like used for Thanksgiving.
• 33:59
  SPEAKER_00: Like this.
• 34:00
SPEAKER_01: Uh you know she can carve a turkey.
• 34:06
  SPEAKER_01: I guess.
• 34:10
SPEAKER_01: So this kind of puts the girls in a little bit of a pickle.
• 34:14
SPEAKER_01: So while they didn't have to kill him, so yay.
• 34:19
SPEAKER_01: Um, and him being dead is their ultimate goal, they didn't exactly plan for this kind of cleanup.
• 34:26
  SPEAKER_01: No.
• 34:26
SPEAKER_01: What I think is actually better because it was like already kind of packaged for them to get rid of.
• 34:33
SPEAKER_01: It was an easier cleanup than shooting him at a fucking motel and then cleaning up.
• 34:38
SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
• 34:39
SPEAKER_01: I really think this is actually the best bet for them.
• 34:44
SPEAKER_01: She's she actually set it up lovely for them.
• 34:47
SPEAKER_01: And she's and she's in on it, so she can't turn on them.
• 34:53
SPEAKER_00: So it kind of I feel like it's Mary Pat.
• 34:55
SPEAKER_00: So I'm not I wouldn't I wouldn't hang my hat on that theory that she's in on it, so she can't turn them in.
• 35:04
  SPEAKER_00: I think she I think Mr.
• 35:07
  SPEAKER_00: Grinch.
• 35:08
SPEAKER_01: I think at this point she she married Boomer.
• 35:11
SPEAKER_01: She well, she and she was a po like he was.
• 35:15
SPEAKER_01: They made a guest list.
• 35:16
SPEAKER_01: She did that because he goes, I know I'm already a witness for them, and I'm gonna tell them all, but they don't have to tell them if we're married.
• 35:25
SPEAKER_00: Right, it was extortion or blackmail.
• 35:27
SPEAKER_00: I was confused the two.
• 35:29
SPEAKER_01: So he doesn't have like okay, they don't FBI doesn't know nothing about her dealings with them.
• 35:37
SPEAKER_01: Boomer is not gonna tell anything because he's gone.
• 35:41
SPEAKER_01: She there's no more of the what's that thing, the cash.
• 35:48
SPEAKER_01: Right, there's no more of that job.
• 35:49
SPEAKER_01: I think she's like, let's just call it a fucking day and walk the fuck away.
• 35:52
SPEAKER_01: Because every you know what I mean?
• 35:55
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 35:55
SPEAKER_01: And and then, honestly, they both everyone is on the same page.
• 36:00
  SPEAKER_01: Boomer had to go.
• 36:01
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I'll and when we get to it, I'll tell you why I don't necessarily at this moment trust her.
• 36:07
  SPEAKER_01: Okay, that's fair.
• 36:09
SPEAKER_01: But she's smart, she'd be like, okay, I just want to get the fuck, I just be left alone.
• 36:12
SPEAKER_01: All you people need to leave me the fuck alone.
• 36:15
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 36:17
SPEAKER_01: And your favorite scene of the episode, Beth is called into the school to speak to the principal.
• 36:24
SPEAKER_00: About my favorite scene, it was annoyed as fuck.
• 36:28
  SPEAKER_01: Well, that was sarcasm.
• 36:29
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 36:29
SPEAKER_01: I could do it too.
• 36:34
SPEAKER_01: Do you remember in the first episode of this season where he uses all the money to buy a ton of ice cream for himself?
• 36:43
SPEAKER_01: Like he ends up eating all the so him eating Yes, that's what I said.
• 36:47
  SPEAKER_01: He's an asshole.
• 36:48
SPEAKER_00: So him eating all by eating up a whole bunch of it wasn't that he ate all the ice cream, he ordered himself like a giant sundae that cost all the money.
• 36:58
SPEAKER_00: And then there was no money left over for the other kid.
• 37:00
  SPEAKER_01: Kids.
• 37:00
  SPEAKER_01: So ice cream, kids.
• 37:02
  SPEAKER_01: He just was selfish.
• 37:03
SPEAKER_00: It was just a selfish act, and he thought of no one but himself.
• 37:06
SPEAKER_00: And the parents reinforced it by being like instead of pow pow.
• 37:15
SPEAKER_01: Well, now I mean when this was aired, when this was we can't do that to our kids anymore because they want to call CPS and shit.
• 37:23
SPEAKER_00: Then I would have handled it and I wouldn't have hit him.
• 37:26
SPEAKER_00: I would have taken the fucking ice cream away and been like, sit there and watch me enjoy this motherfucker.
• 37:30
SPEAKER_01: But I don't, I'm not saying the whole baby thing is a bad thing either, though, Lisa.
• 37:33
  SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying it's a bad thing either.
• 37:35
SPEAKER_01: I'm just sorry, we've got to be careful how we do it.
• 37:37
SPEAKER_01: It's like that Facebook reel.
• 37:39
SPEAKER_01: They're like, if I hit you, they're gonna take you away from me and I'm gonna be in jail for 30 days and they're gonna keep you.
• 37:49
  SPEAKER_01: You know what?
• 37:49
  SPEAKER_01: Fuck that.
• 37:50
  SPEAKER_01: I need a break.
• 37:50
  SPEAKER_01: Square up, bitch.
• 37:51
  SPEAKER_01: Like, you know.
• 37:56
SPEAKER_01: Not that I condone abuse of children.
• 37:59
  unknown: No.
• 38:00
SPEAKER_01: Sometimes our kids push judge.
• 38:01
  SPEAKER_00: You're like, um, really?
• 38:05
  SPEAKER_00: No, legit.
• 38:05
SPEAKER_00: I just I told you, I would have taken the ice cream away and I would have given it to his sister and been like, you can have you can buy, you know, because you did that, sh now she gets it, and you can buy yourself something with what's left.
• 38:18
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, there's nothing left.
• 38:19
SPEAKER_00: I guess you don't get any, and now you understand what it feels like to be the one who's left out.
• 38:24
SPEAKER_01: And then you go home and beat his ass.
• 38:26
  SPEAKER_00: Maybe, maybe not.
• 38:27
SPEAKER_00: Depends on how he acts after that.
• 38:30
SPEAKER_01: Sometimes a good ass whipping.
• 38:33
  SPEAKER_00: Um I got a psych degree.
• 38:36
SPEAKER_00: I mentally beat their asses.
• 38:39
  SPEAKER_00: Psychological trauma.
• 38:40
SPEAKER_00: I I read a lot of psychological suspense thrillers.
• 38:44
SPEAKER_01: So fuck with their heads even more so and make them too.
• 38:47
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay, great.
• 38:47
SPEAKER_01: Instead of beating the ass and make them bully, you're gonna psych you're gonna kill them psychologically and make them, you know, possibly act a shooter.
• 38:56
  SPEAKER_01: Got it.
• 38:57
SPEAKER_00: I I did always wonder about one of them.
• 39:03
SPEAKER_00: If you know them, you know which one.
• 39:07
  SPEAKER_00: But go ahead.
• 39:08
SPEAKER_01: Um, so Dean actually steps up as uh for a father for a moment, has some really valid points.
• 39:15
SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, the kid needs some fucking help.
• 39:17
SPEAKER_01: Well, but here's the thing.
• 39:18
SPEAKER_01: Getting shot probably didn't do him any wait, but but you skipped.
• 39:22
  SPEAKER_00: You skipped.
• 39:22
  SPEAKER_00: So did I skip?
• 39:24
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 39:25
SPEAKER_00: When she walks into the principal's office, she's like, Oh, I'm so sorry, it's been a day, I'm late, blah, blah, blah.
• 39:32
SPEAKER_00: And the principal's like, well, he went, like, what's going on?
• 39:36
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, well, he went into the teacher's lounge lounge and ate cake.
• 39:40
SPEAKER_00: And yeah, they talk about we're here because he ate a slice of cake.
• 39:44
SPEAKER_00: First of all, even if that was just it, a snouse, you weren't supposed to be in the teacher's lounge.
• 39:51
SPEAKER_00: You were where you were not supposed to be.
• 39:53
  SPEAKER_00: Supposed to be.
• 39:54
SPEAKER_00: You took something that was not yours.
• 39:56
SPEAKER_00: So right there, I don't care if he if he sniffed the fucking cake.
• 40:02
SPEAKER_01: Already you were where to begin with.
• 40:04
  SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
• 40:04
  SPEAKER_00: Like you know better.
• 40:05
SPEAKER_00: You're all you're not four years old.
• 40:07
SPEAKER_00: You can read, you know where it was, you know you're not supposed to be in there.
• 40:11
SPEAKER_00: Not only did you break the rules by going in there, but then you took something that was wrong.
• 40:17
SPEAKER_00: The rest of it, because he's like, Well, he ate the entire cake.
• 40:21
SPEAKER_00: Now, the rest of it is just a symptom of a bigger problem.
• 40:24
SPEAKER_00: Because whether he ate a piece or the whole thing, it the foundation is the same.
• 40:31
SPEAKER_00: He took what was not his.
• 40:33
  SPEAKER_00: His.
• 40:33
SPEAKER_00: Now, eating the entire cake is re representative of a much bigger problem.
• 40:39
SPEAKER_00: But I was like, you excusing this bullshit, like he's here because he ate some cake?
• 40:46
  SPEAKER_00: No, bitch.
• 40:48
SPEAKER_00: Your kid was in the wrong.
• 40:50
SPEAKER_00: And I mean, granted, even if that was it, like I I'm so sure the principal still would have called you because that's wrong.
• 40:59
SPEAKER_00: But the principal's like, hey, you got a big problem here because your kid just gave himself diabetes.
• 41:05
SPEAKER_01: Like and I you know who would not have done that?
• 41:10
  SPEAKER_01: Marcus.
• 41:12
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 41:13
SPEAKER_01: He would not have done that.
• 41:15
SPEAKER_00: Also, how could you eat a whole cake big enough for an entire school staff?
• 41:22
SPEAKER_00: Like, I feel like that is not anatomically possible possible.
• 41:26
  SPEAKER_01: It's possible, but it's dangerous.
• 41:28
SPEAKER_00: And like you said, it's like how did he not need a trip to like to the hospital to have his like stomach pumped and shit?
• 41:37
SPEAKER_00: And like I and I'm not trying to be funny, but I don't know if he actually ate the whole cake.
• 41:42
SPEAKER_01: I'm thinking he just he probably just forked yeah, did one of those numbers, destroyed the cake, eating it.
• 41:50
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 41:50
SPEAKER_01: As he was eating it, destroyed the entire cake.
• 41:53
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 41:54
SPEAKER_00: That that makes more sense.
• 41:56
  SPEAKER_00: In my head.
• 41:57
SPEAKER_00: Even when we get like a little BJ's cake that feeds like 18 people, I'm like, I eat like one decent sized slice and I'm like, oh, like for a week.
• 42:07
SPEAKER_01: Because it's like sugar on top of sugar.
• 42:10
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, my teeth are.
• 42:11
SPEAKER_00: I'm like thinking about it now.
• 42:12
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, it makes my teeth hurt.
• 42:14
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 42:15
SPEAKER_01: And if you know where that line is from, text us.
• 42:21
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 42:23
SPEAKER_00: But yeah, so that shit pissed me off because I'm like, I'm a parent and my kids have to coexist with your kids, and your kids have a free pass to be assholes, but then I'm the asshole when I don't take shit from your kids.
• 42:34
SPEAKER_00: Or my kids don't take shit from your kids.
• 42:36
SPEAKER_01: Oh, and I'm gonna beat you with your kid.
• 42:38
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, pick up the kid and just beat you with it.
• 42:40
  SPEAKER_00: Beat you.
• 42:41
  SPEAKER_00: They still bitch.
• 42:42
SPEAKER_00: I gotta beat you, mom, with it.
• 42:43
  SPEAKER_02: With you.
• 42:47
  SPEAKER_00: Oh.
• 42:52
SPEAKER_01: Afterwards, they're Dean and Nan Dean and Nancy.
• 42:56
SPEAKER_01: Dean and Beth are talking about that the kid needs help.
• 43:00
  SPEAKER_01: And I don't think she's taking it.
• 43:02
SPEAKER_01: I she's like, yeah, but we can't afford it.
• 43:05
  SPEAKER_01: And he's like, there's some problems.
• 43:08
SPEAKER_01: Like, watch me being shot didn't help him.
• 43:11
  SPEAKER_01: Our family falling apart.
• 43:12
  SPEAKER_01: Like he needs help.
• 43:15
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think that that's a typical thing.
• 43:16
  SPEAKER_01: But you know what?
• 43:18
SPEAKER_01: On top of that, though, take that away to your point, Lisa.
• 43:23
  SPEAKER_01: He's a shitty kid.
• 43:25
SPEAKER_00: He is a shitty kid.
• 43:26
SPEAKER_00: And I'm not both things can be true, right?
• 43:29
  SPEAKER_00: Like it be both.
• 43:32
SPEAKER_00: He is a shitty kid, but but that's being a shitty kid is going into the teacher's lounge and fucking up the cake, right?
• 43:41
SPEAKER_00: Having a big problem is when you ate the cake.
• 43:44
SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm just saying for an entire school building.
• 43:47
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's more than just yes, he needs help, but I think some parenting should have been done differently before the traumatic experience within their family happened.
• 44:01
  SPEAKER_00: I agree with that.
• 44:01
SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
• 44:02
SPEAKER_01: So they're like, he was a shitty kid to begin with, and I feel like any child can be traumatized and then act up.
• 44:11
SPEAKER_01: But you don't you don't start being a parent when they need help.
• 44:16
SPEAKER_01: You gotta be a parent.
• 44:18
SPEAKER_00: And before this, before that, we can see that these kids are used to having.
• 44:25
SPEAKER_00: And r and getting right all the shit that they want, because a few episodes ago there was the scene where it was like, Oh, but so and so for his birthday, and so and so for their birthday, and um and I'm not getting any of this.
• 44:39
SPEAKER_00: And they decided, okay, well, instead of you know, and and she tried to put her foot down and was like, Oh no, but we just can't do that, but what we can do is this, and then she's like, Oh, I can buy shit and return it.
• 44:50
SPEAKER_00: And so, what did she do?
• 44:52
SPEAKER_00: She reported his shitty, and listen, I know when you're a parent, you want to give your child the world.
• 45:00
  SPEAKER_00: I get it.
• 45:01
SPEAKER_00: But sometimes I truly believe that we don't do our kids any favor by pretending that shit is fine when it's not, because if they can't understand and start learning some of these lessons now when we're still here to cushion and hold them, they're not gonna have a better time later when they have to learn the hard way.
• 45:22
SPEAKER_00: So saying, listen, we can have a birthday party, but we can't go to the to the suite at the ball game and we can't do this, but you can have all your friends over and we'll get a bouncy house.
• 45:34
SPEAKER_00: No, she wanted to get him five bouncy houses and this and that, and so and all he had to do was whine about it and whine and you shall receive.
• 45:45
SPEAKER_00: Now, what does it teach a kid?
• 45:46
SPEAKER_00: Well, if I whine hard enough, I'll get I'll get more.
• 45:50
SPEAKER_01: Does that work for adults?
• 45:52
SPEAKER_01: Because I will start whining in a heartbeat.
• 45:55
  SPEAKER_01: Let me know.
• 45:55
  SPEAKER_00: Right?
• 45:56
SPEAKER_00: So that's the precedent that he set.
• 45:59
SPEAKER_00: Now, what does he want?
• 46:01
SPEAKER_00: He probably wants, you know, he's he his parents are like kind of splitting, his dad is sick-ish, his uh still pissed about this.
• 46:08
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 46:09
SPEAKER_00: His then his dad is shy, he's like, he's he's moved out, he's moved back in, my mom is whatever.
• 46:16
SPEAKER_00: So let me eat a whole cake because you know, once I do something bad that they don't like, they pay attention to me.
• 46:23
SPEAKER_00: That's the precedent that you guys now set with him.
• 46:26
SPEAKER_00: So of course it's a cry for help because we can view it as a cry for help.
• 46:30
SPEAKER_00: The kid only knows, you know, it's like when the dog barks.
• 46:33
SPEAKER_00: If the dog barks and you give him a treat, he's gonna bark again.
• 46:37
  SPEAKER_01: Path lost response.
• 46:38
  SPEAKER_01: That's what kids, yeah.
• 46:39
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 46:40
SPEAKER_00: Like, it's it's just not that hard.
• 46:42
  SPEAKER_00: Like, so, but yeah.
• 46:44
SPEAKER_00: Fucking shitty ass kid eating all the cake.
• 46:47
SPEAKER_00: Didn't you know how to share?
• 46:48
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he he clearly doesn't know how to share either, so at least bring in all his friends.
• 46:53
SPEAKER_01: Like, look what I got.
• 46:54
SPEAKER_01: Like, come on, let's get this as a group, let's break into the teacher's lot and eat the cake together.
• 46:59
  SPEAKER_01: The fuck.
• 47:00
SPEAKER_01: Or bring the cake to your friends, like if you don't want to get them involved.
• 47:03
SPEAKER_01: Oh, something, you know, but there was still it was me, me, me, me.
• 47:07
  SPEAKER_01: I, I, I, I, I.
• 47:09
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 47:09
  SPEAKER_01: It's a selfish little kid.
• 47:11
SPEAKER_01: And speaking of the this the opposite of selfish, even though she is kind of she, you know, does it, her attentions always, her plans don't always land what they're supposed to.
• 47:27
SPEAKER_01: Annie, who has like the best kid ever, Sadie's amazing.
• 47:32
  SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
• 47:32
SPEAKER_01: Because Sadie's the adult in the family.
• 47:35
SPEAKER_01: Even with her father, she's let's be real, between her mother and her father, Sadie's the adult.
• 47:40
SPEAKER_00: But also, can we also put this into perspective, right?
• 47:43
SPEAKER_00: So here we have another comparison where you look at Bethesda.
• 47:49
SPEAKER_01: The fucker and they kind of have it all, and their kids are polypsis, and look at what she's doing with her amazing child.
• 47:57
SPEAKER_00: Who who Sadie and yes, Sadie sometimes has to be more adult than she should be at that age, but she sees her mother for who she is, faults and all, and how hard she does try.
• 48:14
SPEAKER_00: She tries, and it makes her appreciate so much more things that she has, things that she doesn't have.
• 48:21
SPEAKER_00: And and I feel like sometimes we try to hide our struggles from our kids, but I I think that well, we don't have to dump all of our baggage on them.
• 48:33
SPEAKER_00: I think that it just helps them become fully functional and more well-rounded people because they they just don't expect things like that are and that's not how the world works, you know?
• 48:47
SPEAKER_01: Um and Annie and another example of Annie doing what's best for Sadie, uh we see her go to Nancy because she needs someone to watch over Sadie while she deals with the whole boomer situation.
• 49:04
SPEAKER_00: And she already sorry, because um they decided that they're going Mary Pat basically makes it their uh problem to dump him.
• 49:15
SPEAKER_00: And Ruby's daughter is doing we didn't get to that yet.
• 49:18
SPEAKER_01: We didn't get to that today.
• 49:19
SPEAKER_01: We didn't get to that yet.
• 49:21
  SPEAKER_01: Of course we did.
• 49:22
SPEAKER_01: No, that comes after oh no, I have that Ruby No.
• 49:30
SPEAKER_01: This scene, because they had to deal with the situation, but how they deal with it comes with the next scene.
• 49:35
SPEAKER_00: Okay Not quite, but okay.
• 49:40
  SPEAKER_00: Go ahead, go ahead.
• 49:44
SPEAKER_00: I'm smart today, go ahead.
• 49:46
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so why why is why is Annie there?
• 49:49
SPEAKER_01: They still have to do the cleanup.
• 49:50
SPEAKER_01: So she has she has Nancy to um watch Shadie while she deals with it.
• 49:56
SPEAKER_01: And I like the fact that while she but and what does she tell her?
• 49:59
SPEAKER_00: She says she has to go out of town because a friend suddenly died.
• 50:03
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 50:05
SPEAKER_00: Right, and where are they going?
• 50:09
SPEAKER_01: Do you want I thought we're continuing with this okay.
• 50:13
SPEAKER_01: I'm already having a fucking day, Lisa.
• 50:16
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, this is fun.
• 50:19
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, go ahead.
• 50:21
SPEAKER_01: No, I lost my track now.
• 50:24
SPEAKER_00: Okay, Annie asked what's her face, Nancy.
• 50:28
SPEAKER_00: Nancy's like, what do you what do you have to go bone some other pregnant girl's husband, whatever?
• 50:34
SPEAKER_00: And she's like, Oh, a friend died suddenly, we have to go out of town.
• 50:38
SPEAKER_00: Because earlier in the episode, Ruby's daughter needed the internet.
• 50:44
SPEAKER_00: Remember, she was like, that that was she was on Facebook with all Boomer's bathroom selfies saying, like, oh, so-and-so's friend disappeared.
• 50:51
SPEAKER_00: Like, what would you guys do?
• 50:52
SPEAKER_00: How would you root him out?
• 50:53
SPEAKER_00: And that's when they were like, Oh, does he have Facebook?
• 50:56
SPEAKER_00: Does he, and they sent Annie to um the hair salon to find out from Marion about Boomer.
• 51:05
SPEAKER_00: And she's like, oh, but you talk to him every night.
• 51:08
SPEAKER_00: And that's how they had the idea to go to Mary Pat.
• 51:11
SPEAKER_00: But then, remember Sarah, right?
• 51:13
SPEAKER_00: That's her name, Sarah, had to do a report on trash.
• 51:18
SPEAKER_00: And so Ruby is hearing her talking about the trash, and that's where they get the idea.
• 51:26
SPEAKER_00: It wasn't the same scene, but it was then it was another scene with her going over her report and talking about how all the trash goes to Michigan.
• 51:36
SPEAKER_01: While this whole situation is affecting all the women, you can tell that it visibly upsets Ruby the most from the moment they saw the meat locker, if you want to call it that.
• 51:49
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 51:49
  SPEAKER_01: Cooler.
• 51:50
SPEAKER_01: It was it was like a tiny deep freezer.
• 51:52
  SPEAKER_01: It's like a yeti.
• 51:53
SPEAKER_01: Like a I've seen Yetis that were bigger.
• 51:55
SPEAKER_00: It was like if you pulled four chickens, you might be able to fit them in there.
• 51:58
  SPEAKER_01: Maybe.
• 52:00
  SPEAKER_00: Not a person.
• 52:01
SPEAKER_01: So from then on, she's been panicking.
• 52:04
SPEAKER_01: So while the plan was her idea, by way of Sarah, um, she's waiting in the car while Annie and Beth try to carry Boomer.
• 52:12
SPEAKER_01: Because no, dead weight, even if it is broken up, it's heavier.
• 52:16
  SPEAKER_01: It's very heavy.
• 52:18
SPEAKER_01: Um, all that tape and plastic probably added to the weight.
• 52:23
SPEAKER_01: They have to convince Ruby to help them because they just can't manage.
• 52:26
SPEAKER_01: And they say, what'd they call her?
• 52:28
SPEAKER_01: Sauce arms or strong sauce arms.
• 52:31
  SPEAKER_00: Your strong sauce arms.
• 52:34
SPEAKER_01: And I and then I was like, oh god, the sauce arms.
• 52:36
  SPEAKER_01: I remember that's the band-aid.
• 52:38
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 52:46
SPEAKER_01: Um, so she's obviously not having a good moment.
• 52:50
SPEAKER_01: But they work together as a team.
• 52:52
SPEAKER_01: Women power, down with patriarchy, um, to get it to get the job done, you know.
• 52:59
  SPEAKER_01: Girl power.
• 53:00
SPEAKER_00: And that's another thing, right?
• 53:01
SPEAKER_00: And it's kind of what?
• 53:03
SPEAKER_00: The woman power, that's another thing that's attractive about Rio.
• 53:06
  SPEAKER_00: Are you watching TV?
• 53:08
SPEAKER_01: No, I'm actually gonna pull up that fucking episode.
• 53:11
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
• 53:12
SPEAKER_00: I see the remote and I see where you're looking.
• 53:14
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I'm gonna pull up that fucking episode, but go ahead.
• 53:16
SPEAKER_00: And and the fact that Rio doesn't patronize her as a woman.
• 53:21
  SPEAKER_01: No, not at all.
• 53:22
SPEAKER_01: And I think it turns him on on some level.
• 53:25
SPEAKER_00: Like Well, not only that, but that he's because if it was a man, he I feel like he would have shot him.
• 53:31
SPEAKER_00: Same shit, like, you want to be the boss.
• 53:33
SPEAKER_00: I mean, yes, there's a little bit of sexual um excitement there that maybe it wouldn't be if it was a man, but he don't he I feel like he doesn't treat her differently because she's a woman.
• 53:44
SPEAKER_00: And to me, that's a turn on.
• 53:46
  SPEAKER_00: It's like, oh, I see you.
• 53:49
SPEAKER_00: I see you treating me as a person and not pandering to me.
• 53:54
  SPEAKER_00: And I like that.
• 53:55
  SPEAKER_00: I like that in a person.
• 53:57
SPEAKER_01: He's one though who actually understands the power of a woman.
• 54:00
SPEAKER_01: Like it kind of gives me the idea, like in my head, he grew up with a single mother.
• 54:06
  SPEAKER_01: Probably.
• 54:07
SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
• 54:08
  SPEAKER_00: Is he like Orion?
• 54:10
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna try to make as many connections as I can.
• 54:13
SPEAKER_00: Is he like Orion who believes in a strong woman?
• 54:16
  SPEAKER_01: A strong like yes.
• 54:18
SPEAKER_01: I think Orion grew up in like a matriarchal family, yeah, household.
• 54:25
  SPEAKER_01: Uh, yeah, that's funny.
• 54:27
SPEAKER_00: But a lot, a lot of um, I mean, I'm not I don't know about Native American culture, but I feel like a lot of um Latin cultures are like that, you know.
• 54:38
SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, the the man is kind of the bigger head, but we all know who runs shit.
• 54:44
SPEAKER_01: Like he's the king and queen, but the wife is actually uh Parliament.
• 54:50
SPEAKER_01: Like she actually makes the decisions.
• 54:52
SPEAKER_00: But isn't it like um Queen Elizabeth and her husband?
• 54:55
SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, he's the king, but she's the one in charge.
• 54:57
SPEAKER_00: Like her face is on the money and her and she does she's the only one who doesn't need a passport.
• 55:02
SPEAKER_01: She's the queen, but he's a king con he was a king consort.
• 55:05
SPEAKER_01: Like, meaning it was her, but parliament actually makes the laws of the country.
• 55:10
SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
• 55:10
SPEAKER_00: I don't know how any of that shit.
• 55:11
  SPEAKER_00: I don't look at them.
• 55:12
SPEAKER_00: I should know because once I get on my TikTok raft and float, I gotta know how that shit works.
• 55:17
SPEAKER_01: So I was like doing king and queen is like like you know, the head of country, but parliament actually makes the laws for the country.
• 55:24
SPEAKER_00: So they make the rules.
• 55:26
SPEAKER_00: I mean, uh when she was alive, she was in charge.
• 55:28
  SPEAKER_01: She was a figurehead.
• 55:30
SPEAKER_01: The king, the main the the the monarchy is still a figurehead.
• 55:36
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know, but but it's really parliament.
• 55:39
SPEAKER_01: Anyway, give me something I do know, like okay, you okay.
• 55:44
  SPEAKER_01: All right.
• 55:45
SPEAKER_01: So I was saying it was a them talking to her and trying to get her mind off the situation and as they're working together as a team, it's an oddly beautiful thing.
• 55:55
SPEAKER_00: I know they're asking her, like, that the kid likes dinosaurs, and what kind of dinosaurs?
• 56:00
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 56:01
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 56:02
SPEAKER_00: And then I've noticed that after they talked about dinosaurs, later on, there was a dinosaur sticker on the kid's bed on Beth as well.
• 56:08
  SPEAKER_00: No, I didn't notice that.
• 56:09
  SPEAKER_01: No, I didn't notice that.
• 56:10
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 56:11
SPEAKER_01: And of course, and it's like an is it a plot twist if it's obvious with the phone ringing as soon as they turn their back?
• 56:18
SPEAKER_01: Because you're like, you know it's gonna happen.
• 56:20
SPEAKER_01: Because as a professional TV watcher, it happens.
• 56:24
SPEAKER_00: Do you think that Mary Pat is the one who packaged him all up, or do you think the women packaged him all up?
• 56:31
  SPEAKER_01: I didn't think about that.
• 56:32
SPEAKER_01: I just know they I didn't oh well just because I want to do that.
• 56:36
SPEAKER_01: Well, I'm thinking Mary Pat because she's like, why didn't you check?
• 56:39
SPEAKER_01: Did you check his pockets?
• 56:40
SPEAKER_01: She said, when was I gonna check his pockets?
• 56:42
SPEAKER_01: It was already taped up.
• 56:43
SPEAKER_01: I got the I got the idea that it was already taped up.
• 56:46
SPEAKER_01: That's so she couldn't check his pockets.
• 56:48
SPEAKER_00: So a dinosaur walking behind you.
• 56:53
  SPEAKER_01: A little furry man.
• 56:55
SPEAKER_01: Another example, whatever can go wrong will go wrong.
• 56:59
  SPEAKER_01: I feel like that's their motto.
• 57:01
SPEAKER_01: That's their mission statement in life.
• 57:05
SPEAKER_01: Um, so so they're far enough away from the body, they're gonna get rid of the phone.
• 57:12
SPEAKER_01: And my first thought is I hope that's not where they got rid of the car.
• 57:16
SPEAKER_00: I was thinking the same thing.
• 57:18
SPEAKER_00: I was like, is this the same mic, or do they just know of all the bodies of waters in Michigan?
• 57:24
SPEAKER_01: Because I mean, to be fair, I know several body of waters I can do in and just this small little thing of racing.
• 57:31
  SPEAKER_00: So the ocean is.
• 57:33
  SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's little bottles of water around here, but like I don't I don't know.
• 57:39
SPEAKER_00: I just feel like I don't know where there's like ponds and lakes and rivers and drop a foam, and she's like, this will keep them busy.
• 57:46
SPEAKER_01: I'm just like, I kind of hope that it's not the same spot.
• 57:50
SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, that was my first thought.
• 57:53
SPEAKER_01: Um that was mine too.
• 57:55
SPEAKER_01: Beth warns Annie, don't do it, don't do it, don't do it because she does it.
• 58:01
SPEAKER_01: But she listens to the voicemails, and that's what she was telling her, don't and that actually made me sad.
• 58:10
SPEAKER_00: It was sad, and Annie was crying, and like it's it's a hard situation because yeah, Boomer was a jerk, but he's still a person, and you're still a person that rapes.
• 58:23
SPEAKER_00: Like just to take a line from but the hurt extends towards Marion because she's always speaking so highly of him, and you know how much she loves him, and it's kind of like well now we have like we're hurting her by default, and obviously we're not gonna tell her, so like we're lying to her.
• 58:49
SPEAKER_00: She's not gonna know what happened to her grandson, and we here are not the ones who took the life, but we're getting rid of it, so it's still gotta be like a really, really heavy thing.
• 59:04
SPEAKER_01: I don't envy And she likes Marion so much, and we know he's an asshole, but he takes care of her, and she's like, now Marion doesn't have that person to take care of.
• 59:15
SPEAKER_01: Right, because for her to take care of her.
• 59:18
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 59:18
SPEAKER_00: He's the only one who visits her.
• 59:22
SPEAKER_01: Go figure the shittiest boomer.
• 59:25
SPEAKER_00: Well, he probably needs her.
• 59:27
  SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah.
• 59:29
SPEAKER_01: So separately we see them deal with the initial aftermath of getting rid of a dead body.
• 59:36
SPEAKER_01: Beth goes home and she lays down with Kenny and he apologizes for the cake, and she gives him some reassurances.
• 59:46
SPEAKER_00: I just think it's not your fault, but it is and it isn't.
• 59:51
  SPEAKER_01: And I think yeah, and I and I think it's that's the situ I think she's taken it, she's it's her fault.
• 59:58
SPEAKER_01: And she knows the underlying like it's her.
• 1:00:01
SPEAKER_00: And she hasn't really been there for them, but also I feel like it's more of a like, it's okay, we're gonna work it out.
• 1:00:08
SPEAKER_00: You know, we're gonna get through it.
• 1:00:09
SPEAKER_00: Would it have been a better than it's not your fault because it is your fault?
• 1:00:14
SPEAKER_00: Like maybe you don't understand why it's your fault, and you don't understand why you did it.
• 1:00:18
SPEAKER_00: You can't you still chose to it.
• 1:00:22
SPEAKER_00: And you're old enough to know better, so you may not be old enough to understand the nuances and the whys, but you could yeah.
• 1:00:32
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:00:33
SPEAKER_01: Um, Annie speaks to Sadie, and she asks her, What's the worst thing you've ever done?
• 1:00:39
SPEAKER_01: Once again, another example of how we how they speak to their children and how they hold them accountable or don't hold them accountable.
• 1:00:49
SPEAKER_01: And Annie does it in the best possible way.
• 1:00:52
SPEAKER_01: And it turns out Sadie cheated on an English test.
• 1:00:56
SPEAKER_01: And she makes Sadie never she makes Sadie promise never to do anything worse than that.
• 1:01:03
SPEAKER_01: And it's like it's just the two parenting styles didn't go what didn't go um unseen between the two.
• 1:01:16
SPEAKER_01: Ruby, she comes home doing a late shift at work, and the guilt is all over her.
• 1:01:23
SPEAKER_01: She doesn't handle guilt well at all.
• 1:01:26
SPEAKER_01: So you think she's gonna tell him what she did.
• 1:01:29
  SPEAKER_00: She's like, I did something bad.
• 1:01:31
SPEAKER_01: And she tells him about the payday loan that she forced his signature on.
• 1:01:35
SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, oh, Lisa be happy when she gets it because I know that bothered you.
• 1:01:39
SPEAKER_00: And I and he and he I'm just kind of like, oh, but like, what a guy because he's just there like it's like alright, alright, like, but why'd you like why'd you do it?
• 1:01:49
SPEAKER_00: But like, okay, you know, okay.
• 1:01:53
SPEAKER_01: And I feel like considering what they just went through with the deception and all that, I was the being honest is just really what he wanted, and he was okay with it.
• 1:02:09
SPEAKER_00: And so, like, where he could have totally flipped out on her and been like, what the fuck?
• 1:02:13
SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, blah blah blah, after all that.
• 1:02:16
SPEAKER_00: But I think that it's like you said, this is just what he wanted, and so he just wants for her to be able to tell him because he doesn't want the secrets, and yet she's still keeping shit from him, and it's gonna and like you have a guy here who is just trying to make it work with you, he is just so open and loving to you, and you are just like still lying to him, and I understand why you can't tell him, but right it it it it hurts, like it hurts also to watch and know the bigger picture, and like to see a guy who really, as far as we know, is only worried about his family and you know what I mean, his household, and that's where his priorities lie, and how he is just still being treated.
• 1:03:10
SPEAKER_00: And it, you know, it's just rough.
• 1:03:13
SPEAKER_00: Like, you're like, oh, I know something's gonna go wrong.
• 1:03:18
SPEAKER_01: Uh it's what it doesn't break them, it'll just make them stronger.
• 1:03:23
  SPEAKER_01: Sure.
• 1:03:24
  SPEAKER_01: Sure.
• 1:03:24
SPEAKER_01: Okay, listen, in my head, we're gonna go with that, okay?
• 1:03:27
SPEAKER_01: Okay, it makes you feel better.
• 1:03:29
SPEAKER_01: So, do you think the surprises are over?
• 1:03:33
  SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
• 1:03:34
  SPEAKER_01: But wait, there's more.
• 1:03:36
SPEAKER_01: We see real playing tennis at a country club.
• 1:03:39
  SPEAKER_01: What the fuck?
• 1:03:41
  SPEAKER_01: I like he's full of surprises.
• 1:03:43
SPEAKER_01: I know, and he seems to he still fits in, like with his level, like he he he it works.
• 1:03:48
SPEAKER_01: He has that cockiness, that country club cockiness that works.
• 1:03:53
SPEAKER_01: Um, and honestly, a lot of country clubs have um criminals anyway.
• 1:03:58
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know, I don't belong to any.
• 1:04:00
SPEAKER_01: But per se, they're just like they call them white-collar criminals.
• 1:04:03
SPEAKER_01: I think all criminals are.
• 1:04:04
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, right, right, right.
• 1:04:04
  SPEAKER_01: You're right.
• 1:04:05
  SPEAKER_01: My bad.

SPEAKER_01: I listen, if I'm going to have a prison pen pile, I'm gonna make sure he has some money stashed somewhere else.
• 1:05:03
SPEAKER_01: Do you watch that show?
• 1:05:04
SPEAKER_01: I used to watch it religiously.
• 1:05:05
SPEAKER_01: Me and my mom used to watch it all the time, and it was so crappy.
• 1:05:09
  SPEAKER_01: It was amazing.
• 1:05:10
  SPEAKER_01: TV.

  SPEAKER_01: It's like amazing.
• 1:05:11
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't know.
• 1:05:13
SPEAKER_00: But I feel like I've seen bits and pieces like in places, but I've never watched it.
• 1:05:18
SPEAKER_00: But it'll just seem like such a train wreck.
• 1:05:20
SPEAKER_01: It's a train wreck you have to watch.
• 1:05:21
  SPEAKER_01: It's it's hysterical.
• 1:05:22
SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, I think I would like listen, you know where he's at.
• 1:05:27
SPEAKER_00: My boon is in a gated community until he gets out, and then no one's gonna know where you're at, but okay.
• 1:05:33
SPEAKER_00: But you know, but if you're gonna if you're gonna do that, yes, do uh club vet.
• 1:05:40
SPEAKER_00: Are you gonna sign up for that that show too?
• 1:05:42
SPEAKER_01: No, I'm not gonna sign up for any show.
• 1:05:44
  SPEAKER_01: I changed my mind.
• 1:05:45
SPEAKER_01: I saw that casting email you sent me.
• 1:05:48
SPEAKER_01: And I remember the camera puts 10 pounds on you.
• 1:05:50
SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, yeah, I'm not doing that.
• 1:05:52
  SPEAKER_00: Uh so what?
• 1:05:54
SPEAKER_00: It was uh what was it like hearts of gold singles?
• 1:06:00
SPEAKER_00: Yes, I didn't really read more than that.
• 1:06:02
  SPEAKER_00: I was like, singles?
• 1:06:02
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, here you go.
• 1:06:03
  SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I'm not doing this.
• 1:06:05
  SPEAKER_01: And that's 10 pounds.
• 1:06:06
SPEAKER_01: That means I have to I have to I'll have to lose 30 pounds.
• 1:06:09
  SPEAKER_00: You gotta stop.
• 1:06:09
  SPEAKER_00: You gotta stop.
• 1:06:10
  SPEAKER_01: I'm not doing it.
• 1:06:11
  SPEAKER_00: You're beautiful.
• 1:06:12
SPEAKER_00: Just I'm gonna just sign you up.
• 1:06:14
  SPEAKER_01: Fuck it.
• 1:06:15
  SPEAKER_01: No, you're not.
• 1:06:15
SPEAKER_01: So back to Rio doing the country club.
• 1:06:18
  SPEAKER_00: Go ahead.
• 1:06:18
  SPEAKER_00: Tell me I won't.
• 1:06:20
SPEAKER_01: I'm asking you not to.
• 1:06:21
  SPEAKER_01: I oh, that's better.
• 1:06:24
SPEAKER_01: I'm asking you not to.
• 1:06:25
SPEAKER_01: To because if I use like if I pull your heartstrings not to do it, if I tell you not to, you're gonna do it.
• 1:06:31
SPEAKER_01: If I say please don't, and you're like fuck, you're like you have second thoughts.
• 1:06:36
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you gotta ask me the right way.
• 1:06:39
  SPEAKER_01: Back to Rio.
• 1:06:41
SPEAKER_01: Um, so he's talking to his lawyer, who he's playing tennis with.
• 1:06:45
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, good game counselor.
• 1:06:47
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:06:47
SPEAKER_01: And he's looking smug and looking happy.
• 1:06:50
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, as he pours tea.
• 1:06:52
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 1:06:53
  SPEAKER_01: Those little iced tea.
• 1:06:55
SPEAKER_01: Um, his I'm assuming the attorney's on retainer, and I'm 100% sure she knows what his business is, but doesn't know the details because she's smart.
• 1:07:06
SPEAKER_00: He even says like attorney client privilege, and he's like, We're good.
• 1:07:09
  SPEAKER_00: We're good.
• 1:07:10
  SPEAKER_00: And she's like, okay.
• 1:07:13
  SPEAKER_00: Always.
• 1:07:14
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:07:15
  SPEAKER_00: All right.
• 1:07:16
SPEAKER_00: Because she said that he missed uh another deposition.
• 1:07:19
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 1:07:20
  SPEAKER_00: He's like, oh, okay.
• 1:07:21
SPEAKER_00: Well, he was like, yeah, he's like, oh, it's okay, we're good.
• 1:07:24
  unknown: Yeah.
• 1:07:24
SPEAKER_00: That's when he said, yeah.
• 1:07:29
SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, that I think of all the things that Rio could have been seen at, that was not on my bingo card.
• 1:07:37
SPEAKER_01: But at the same time, I approve.
• 1:07:42
SPEAKER_01: Because, you know, rugged CEO of a drug cartel playing tennis is kind of sexy.
• 1:07:50
SPEAKER_01: So, do you think this is that the end of surprises?
• 1:07:53
  SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no.
• 1:07:55
SPEAKER_01: You guys watch the episode, right?
• 1:07:57
  SPEAKER_00: Like, okay.
• 1:07:58
SPEAKER_00: Like, are you really asking me?
• 1:08:00
  SPEAKER_00: Because I did watch.
• 1:08:01
  unknown: No.
• 1:08:05
SPEAKER_01: The final surprise leaves on a fucking cliffhanger.
• 1:08:09
SPEAKER_01: Thank you, um good girls.
• 1:08:11
SPEAKER_01: So while organizing things and going through mail, Bev finds the envelope that states Elizabeth.
• 1:08:17
SPEAKER_01: And you know, and I know, and all my listeners know that's real.
• 1:08:21
SPEAKER_01: Because who else calls her Elizabeth?
• 1:08:23
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 1:08:25
SPEAKER_00: And that was fucking bold as hell.
• 1:08:29
SPEAKER_00: Because not only did you put an envelope in her mailbox, but you don't even seal it.
• 1:08:37
SPEAKER_01: Like, uh because in Rio's head, no one dares touch anything that's not for them that Rio's giving to them.
• 1:08:51
SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
• 1:08:52
SPEAKER_00: He was like, the fuck who's-that was that was bold as all hell.
• 1:08:55
  SPEAKER_00: Like, how dangerous.
• 1:08:56
SPEAKER_00: And it's that confidence that's kind of a panty dropper.
• 1:09:01
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 1:09:02
SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say that, but yes.
• 1:09:04
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you were thinking it was she was gonna be a little bit more PC about it.
• 1:09:08
  SPEAKER_01: I was yes.
• 1:09:09
SPEAKER_01: Maybe we'll just ring them.
• 1:09:10
SPEAKER_01: I have to ring up my panties.
• 1:09:13
SPEAKER_00: Were you sliding off your chair?
• 1:09:15
SPEAKER_01: Well, I well, you know, it's it's cloth, so I don't have to slide.
• 1:09:20
SPEAKER_01: I do have to get the the the cleaner.
• 1:09:22
SPEAKER_00: Sorry, I was repurposing something I saw in a text message.
• 1:09:26
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:09:27
SPEAKER_01: So she's not focused because she's thrown for the loop because she knows who is it who's this from.
• 1:09:33
SPEAKER_00: So when she finally opens it, she finally staring at it like it all her money, though.
• 1:09:38
  SPEAKER_01: Right?
• 1:09:39
SPEAKER_01: And it's a message that goes for the boss bitch.
• 1:09:41
  SPEAKER_01: I was like, aww.
• 1:09:44
SPEAKER_01: Based on the conversation in the park.
• 1:09:47
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 1:09:47
SPEAKER_01: So the episode ends with her going to a storage locker, and you see her look at what's in the storage locker.
• 1:09:55
SPEAKER_01: And of course, once again, we are left hanging.
• 1:09:58
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we don't see.
• 1:09:59
SPEAKER_00: We we're seeing like from inside the storage locker her face.
• 1:10:06
SPEAKER_00: But we like we are the item she's looking at.
• 1:10:11
SPEAKER_00: So we were just like, oh, okay.
• 1:10:14
SPEAKER_00: So whatever it is, she's just staring at it, but we don't know what it is.
• 1:10:17
  SPEAKER_00: What do you think?
• 1:10:17
SPEAKER_00: Well, you know what's in it.
• 1:10:18
SPEAKER_01: Is it another fast food bag?
• 1:10:20
SPEAKER_01: Because last time we were on a on a cliffhanger, it was a fast food bag with the gun.
• 1:10:27
SPEAKER_01: So is it a box of fast food bags?
• 1:10:30
SPEAKER_00: Is it I I mean, I was I was thinking like maybe it's just like more wrapping paper, you know, like back in business, you know, shop open.
• 1:10:41
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 1:10:43
SPEAKER_00: I didn't really give it much thought, but no.
• 1:10:47
SPEAKER_01: Any end of episode hot takes?
• 1:10:52
  SPEAKER_00: No.
• 1:10:53
  SPEAKER_00: Thoughts for next week?
• 1:10:54
SPEAKER_00: I just want to see what's in the locker and oh, we forgot to talk about Mary Pat.
• 1:11:01
  SPEAKER_00: And here's why I say I don't know if we can.
• 1:11:04
SPEAKER_01: Oh, why you don't trust her?
• 1:11:06
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 1:11:07
SPEAKER_00: Because she's at the FBI and she wants to make a missing person report.
• 1:11:13
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 1:11:14
SPEAKER_00: And so on face value, it's kind of like, well, she's his fiance, right?
• 1:11:20
SPEAKER_00: And but you spoke to him the night before.
• 1:11:27
SPEAKER_00: So when you walk into like if they're checking his phone records and stuff, why would you think that he's missing if you spoke to him the night before?
• 1:11:36
SPEAKER_00: Like why would you be you know what I mean?
• 1:11:41
SPEAKER_00: It just seems like unless And if he's and if he's been put there wouldn't it be like okay, I think about it like this.
• 1:11:54
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 1:11:54
SPEAKER_00: If if it was me and Alex and he's like, listen, I have to Alexa, we should be careful.
• 1:11:59
SPEAKER_00: Well, but you know what I'm saying, but just like and and it and he has to the FBI has to put him somewhere because he has to t testify whatever, right?
• 1:12:09
SPEAKER_00: Um, he's gonna say, I have to uh you know, like the FBI is putting me up somewhere for my safety, blah, blah, blah.
• 1:12:17
SPEAKER_00: I'll talk to you when I can talk to you.
• 1:12:20
  SPEAKER_00: I I wouldn't, I'd be like, all right, so weird.
• 1:12:27
SPEAKER_00: And maybe I would want to talk to the FBI and say, do you have a contact person that I can talk to to make sure like you're okay?
• 1:12:34
  SPEAKER_00: Because I I I will worry.
• 1:12:37
SPEAKER_00: But aside from that, I wouldn't be filing a missing person's report.
• 1:12:40
  SPEAKER_00: No.
• 1:12:41
SPEAKER_01: So it's in my head, she wasn't supposed to know that he was because she could play it off.
• 1:12:50
  SPEAKER_01: I have no idea.
• 1:12:51
SPEAKER_01: Like he said he was gonna be away for a couple days and he called me.
• 1:12:55
SPEAKER_01: He said he's gonna come by and see the kids.
• 1:12:57
  SPEAKER_01: He never came by.
• 1:12:59
SPEAKER_01: I don't know what happened to him.
• 1:13:01
SPEAKER_01: She could she could still play it off that she didn't know anything about him testifying.
• 1:13:06
SPEAKER_01: Because as I don't think he mentioned.
• 1:13:09
SPEAKER_00: Oh, but then this this is hold on, I just thought of something.
• 1:13:12
SPEAKER_00: This is another day later.
• 1:13:13
SPEAKER_00: This is not the next day.
• 1:13:16
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 1:13:16
SPEAKER_00: Because I'm in my at first I was like, but it's the next day.
• 1:13:19
SPEAKER_00: It's not the next day.
• 1:13:20
SPEAKER_00: It's the next day, because the next day.
• 1:13:21
  SPEAKER_00: Two days later.
• 1:13:23
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, sometimes.
• 1:13:24
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:13:24
  SPEAKER_00: No, no.
• 1:13:25
SPEAKER_00: Now it makes more sense.
• 1:13:27
SPEAKER_01: So I heard from him, he would have come by, he never came by.
• 1:13:31
SPEAKER_00: And and I haven't heard from him in in a day or two days or however long it is.
• 1:13:38
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah.
• 1:13:40
SPEAKER_01: And then on top of, she's not I don't think she was supposed to know about the FBI thing.
• 1:13:46
SPEAKER_01: Because he was still calling her.
• 1:13:52
SPEAKER_01: She obviously knows as far as the FBI knows.
• 1:13:55
SPEAKER_01: That's all the FBI knows.
• 1:13:58
SPEAKER_01: Right, but she may not know about like, hey, my husband was calling me, and all of a sudden he's not calling me.
• 1:14:03
SPEAKER_01: He was away for business, and whatever the case may be.
• 1:14:06
SPEAKER_01: She could still play it all.
• 1:14:07
SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, no, she is going to FBI because that's why she's going to the FBI because he knows something.
• 1:14:12
SPEAKER_00: And and he had um Agent Turner, I think is his name, he had come to her door.
• 1:14:18
SPEAKER_00: So it's like, okay, well, I understand why she would go to him for that.
• 1:14:22
SPEAKER_00: But clearly then she knows that he was working with the FBI in some capacity.
• 1:14:25
SPEAKER_01: And also that he's just not whether he's just FYI, he's MIA.
• 1:14:31
  SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
• 1:14:32
SPEAKER_01: Oh, forget about that part.
• 1:14:34
  SPEAKER_01: Oh my legs.
• 1:14:37
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:14:38
  SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
• 1:14:38
SPEAKER_00: I just, you know, while I think that could it be part of the plan where the girls are like, okay, and on this day you go when you follow a missing person because you know, blah blah blah.
• 1:14:51
  SPEAKER_00: It it could be.
• 1:14:52
SPEAKER_00: Or it could just be her doing what Mary Pat does and just doing whatever the fuck she wants because she thinks that that's the right move.
• 1:15:01
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 1:15:02
SPEAKER_00: But that's why I say, like, I don't know if I can trust her.
• 1:15:06
SPEAKER_00: I don't know how I you know how I feel about her right now.
• 1:15:12
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:15:13
SPEAKER_00: Um, but then that's it.
• 1:15:15
  SPEAKER_00: That's that's all I got.
• 1:15:17
  SPEAKER_00: Cool.
• 1:15:18
  SPEAKER_00: Cool, cool, cool.
• 1:15:21
  SPEAKER_00: You got anything else?
• 1:15:22
  SPEAKER_01: No.
• 1:15:24
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
