Sermon for Reformation Sunday | Matthew 11:12-19
On Reformation Sunday, we remember that the Reformation was not simply about Martin Luther or events five hundred years ago, but about the preservation of God's Word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Just as the Lord sustained Elijah and the Reformers in the face of opposition, He continues to preserve His Church through His Word and promises. The heirs of the Reformation are those who cling to Christ alone for salvation and faithfully confess His truth in a world that would rather see it silenced.
