  Fearless and free. Fear can make life feel smaller.

  It can make you hide, overthink, compare, or believe you will
• 0:18
  never really change. But Proverbs chapter 14 verses

  26 to 27 says in the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence,
• 0:28
  and the fear of the Lord is a fountain of life.
• 0:30
  That kind of fear is not terror, it is reverence.
• 0:34
  It is deep respect, trust, and all before the God who is holy,
• 0:38
  loving and strong. Romans chapter 6 verse 6 says
• 0:42
  that our old self was crucified with Christ so that we would no
• 0:46
  longer be enslaved to sin. That means your past does not
• 0:49
  have the final word. Your old patterns do not own
• 0:53
  you. The shame you carry does not get
• 0:55
  to define you. In Jesus, freedom is not just an
• 0:58
  idea, it is a new reality. Sin and fear often whisper the
• 1:02
  same lie. You are stuck.

  You cannot change. This is just who you are.
• 1:07
  But the cross tells a better story.
• 1:09
  Jesus did not die and rise again so you could remain chained to
• 1:13
  the same darkness. He came to make you free.
• 1:16
  Following God does not mean life becomes easy overnight.
• 1:20
  You may still feel pressure, temptation, stress and self
• 1:23
  doubt, but now you have a refuge, you have a place to run,
• 1:28
  you have a Savior who gives strength when you feel weak.

  So walk today with confidence, not because you are in control,
• 1:34
  but because God is. Honor him, trust Him, run to
• 1:37
  Him. The fear of the Lord does not
• 1:40
  trap you, it frees you to live with courage.
• 1:43
  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for
• 1:45
  being my refuge and strength. Help me live in holy awe of you,
• 1:50
  not in fear of my past or my weaknesses.
• 1:53
  Remind me that in Christ I am no longer a slave to sin.
• 1:56
  Teach me to walk in freedom, confidence and trust today in

  Jesus name, Amen. What if you could rise up and

  declare with full spiritual authority, I shall not die, but

  But thanks be to God that whereas you were bond servants

  of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of

  Being made free from sin, you became bond servants of

  righteousness. I speak in human terms because

  of the weakness of your flesh. For as you presented your

  members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness

  to righteousness for sanctification.

  For when you were servants of sin, you were free from

  righteousness. What fruit then did you have at

  that time in the things of which you are now ashamed?

  of God, you have your fruit of sanctification, and the result

  of eternal life. For the wages of sin is death,
