- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey guys, Bill Krachenberger, John Orlando over here at the
- 0:03Speaker 1: new home of Wisecracks Circa sportsbook, the Mecca. John, this
- 0:08Speaker 1: is crazy made it.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I mean, this is amazing right in the.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Middle of the book. Lots of action going on today
- 0:13Speaker 1: and you can see what's going on here. The reason
- 0:16Speaker 1: why the buzz that these people are all signing up proxies.
- 0:19Speaker 1: The proxies are signing up people for the Circa Millions
- 0:22Speaker 1: Circus Survivor, and that's a big thing here. We're gonna
- 0:26Speaker 1: bring on my buddy Scott, who's got a great proxy service.
- 0:29Speaker 1: We're gonna bring him on for later on in the show.
- 0:31Speaker 1: But just looking right now at the board, and this
- 0:35Speaker 1: was like one of the main concerns was how this
- 0:40Speaker 1: contest and these contests are doing as far as the
- 0:44Speaker 1: sign ups, because of course, year after year, Derek has
- 0:47Speaker 1: been Derek Stevens that has been guaranteeing more and more
- 0:50Speaker 1: money every year. So they guaranteed fifteen million for their
- 0:56Speaker 1: Circus Survivor this year, I think it was ten. Scott
- 1:00Speaker 1: was a ten last year, a twelve last year. I
- 1:02Speaker 1: think I think they guaranteed tenth up to of course,
- 1:04Speaker 1: they got like so money. They guaranteed fifteen million this year,
- 1:09Speaker 1: and then another company, online company, came out and like
- 1:14Speaker 1: challenged them and guaranteed a million more. But it's an
- 1:17Speaker 1: online company. They take seven and a half percent out
- 1:20Speaker 1: of the pool. I'm all about value. There's no rake
- 1:22Speaker 1: in this and it costs a lot of money to
- 1:24Speaker 1: put these things on. No rake in these pools. But
- 1:28Speaker 1: there's arguments back and forth where people say, well, if
- 1:31Speaker 1: I could do something over the internet, by the way,
- 1:33Speaker 1: you can't do it in every state. It's illegal in Nevada.
- 1:35Speaker 1: This other contest, So there's some states that I have it,
- 1:39Speaker 1: some states don't. And I've never dealt with that company.
- 1:42Speaker 1: And it's funny the founder of the company reached out
- 1:44Speaker 1: to me on Twitter and actually wanted to talk to me.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I haven't yet, but this is our home, this is
- 1:50Speaker 1: our loyalty rest here. So anyway, they unbelievably, I just
- 1:55Speaker 1: found out they're ahead of pace for last year. Now
- 2:00Speaker 1: that means a lot because there was a concern with
- 2:04Speaker 1: this other company coming in and on a national scale,
- 2:09Speaker 1: maybe people wouldn't come out the survivor here. People just
- 2:12Speaker 1: use Las Vegas as like an excuse to come to Vegas.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I gotta come to Vegas. I gotta Hey, sorry, honey,
- 2:19Speaker 1: I gotta go to Vegas. I gotta sign up for
- 2:21Speaker 1: my contest. Please don't let her find out about this
- 2:24Speaker 1: online contest, you know. Anyway, I thought it was kind
- 2:29Speaker 1: of kind of funny though, But John, World Series is over.
- 2:32Speaker 1: World Series is over, but you're still you're still playing
- 2:34Speaker 1: in events.
- 2:35Speaker 2: The circuits here.
- 2:37Speaker 3: But uh, I played in a circuit event the other day,
- 2:39Speaker 3: and then there's still really good tournaments over at like
- 2:43Speaker 3: Win and Venetian Mitases. But there's a big senior tournament
- 2:47Speaker 3: at Venetian right now. There's three different day ones. Okay, yeah,
- 2:53Speaker 3: I played in it yesterday, but no.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Good going back to the Survivor contest. Just I thought
- 2:58Speaker 1: about it. So I talked to Derek Stevens yesterday. He
- 3:01Speaker 1: was gonna come on next week, but he's it's gonna
- 3:03Speaker 1: be the following week. So we're gonna have Derek on
- 3:07Speaker 1: to talk about the contest, where it's at, what's going
- 3:09Speaker 1: on with the with Circo, with the whole company, the
- 3:12Speaker 1: other casinos. He'll be on on the fifth, so that'll
- 3:15Speaker 1: be out August sixth or seventh, So that'll be out.
- 3:19Speaker 3: But I haven't been in here in a while. I
- 3:22Speaker 3: forget how great this sports book is. To look at
- 3:25Speaker 3: this book, it is massive. There's screens everywhere, like they
- 3:29Speaker 3: really did a great job.
- 3:31Speaker 1: This is not only that. So you have these boots
- 3:35Speaker 1: here and chairs and now you have the chairs up
- 3:38Speaker 1: and down the sides for for people. These are during
- 3:42Speaker 1: football season. You're you're renting these. I know that, you know,
- 3:45Speaker 1: you're buying them per day like all the casinos do.
- 3:47Speaker 1: But there is the free seats on the sides too.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But upstairs there's a bar overlooking the sports book, and
- 3:53Speaker 1: I got overhang. Then there's a bar here. Back here,
- 3:56Speaker 1: there's a video poker bar here, and there look great
- 3:59Speaker 1: seats for football.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And that that Burger place is legit.
- 4:03Speaker 1: VE never forgot.
- 4:04Speaker 2: But yeah, it's good. It's good.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Now I like Barry's here. I think we've eaten so good.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Barry's is one of the best steakhouses in town. By
- 4:12Speaker 1: the way, their rip cap is the steak. I get.
- 4:14Speaker 1: It's called their rip cap steak. I get that every
- 4:16Speaker 1: time there. I think it's great. Their sides are great,
- 4:19Speaker 1: and we should have.
- 4:20Speaker 2: With cheese steak, a Philly cheese steak.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Rolls good, but I would that Yeah, you're right, just
- 4:28Speaker 1: for that.
- 4:29Speaker 3: And by the way, it's ten minutes from the strip, Like,
- 4:33Speaker 3: don't let people tell oh downtown, it literally is ten
- 4:37Speaker 3: minutes from the strip.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Downtown is old school too. You want some old school
- 4:41Speaker 1: deals and pricing, and uh, I should have come on
- 4:45Speaker 1: more prepared with this. They had a deal here for
- 4:47Speaker 1: a hotel room here, they had hotel, the pool, everything.
- 4:50Speaker 1: It was like all inclusive, all inclusive deal that you
- 4:53Speaker 1: it's so it was so cheap, it's like ridiculous. It
- 4:56Speaker 1: was like like one hundred and twenty five dollars a
- 4:57Speaker 1: night or something that came with everything your pool or
- 5:00Speaker 1: your resort fees. But downtown in general, if free shows outside,
- 5:06Speaker 1: you know the stages outside, security is actually much better.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I think when Derek came to town the last decade.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Security is beefed up out there. There's people, there's very
- 5:17Speaker 1: regular Metro cops downtown for free minuts. Three Experience has
- 5:21Speaker 1: their own security, so.
- 5:22Speaker 3: You can't walk outside and not see plenty of metro cops.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Yeah, Metro here. And also there is another added layer
- 5:33Speaker 1: of security here where they're asking for your ID when
- 5:36Speaker 1: you come in. Yeah, I'm surprised you actually gave yours.
- 5:39Speaker 1: You're right, okay, good. I'm just make sure I know
- 5:41Speaker 1: it's something that you know you maybe you know you
- 5:44Speaker 1: want no one to know where you're at. No. But however,
- 5:47Speaker 1: this is just for an internal thing. They want to
- 5:49Speaker 1: know who's in their building. So that's something they do.
- 5:52Speaker 1: It's an added layer here. So I want to I
- 5:55Speaker 1: want to start right out with something. John, there's there's
- 5:57Speaker 1: a new book out. I heard the book was fantastic.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Now I was betting twenty I've been betting since nineteen
- 6:06Speaker 1: ninety three ninety four, so you're talking, you know, over
- 6:10Speaker 1: thirty years. I was betting with some places called Rick
- 6:13Speaker 1: Sportsbook ESB, which is English sports betting. These places all
- 6:17Speaker 1: went out of business worldwide Telesports. Billy Scott is going
- 6:20Speaker 1: to be in the Hall of Fame this year. Gary
- 6:23Speaker 1: Bowman over in England, I was dealing with Gary Bowman's.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I was dealing with can Bet in Australia. This was
- 6:28Speaker 1: years ago. So I used to do all that and
- 6:33Speaker 1: these guys have all either closed up, taken their money
- 6:36Speaker 1: went other places, or screwed people. Let me just be
- 6:38Speaker 1: honest with you. So there was one giant sports book
- 6:42Speaker 1: called World Sports Exchange. There was three owners. I actually
- 6:46Speaker 1: knew all three World Sports WSCX dot com. They were
- 6:52Speaker 1: way ahead of their time. They were way ahead of
- 6:54Speaker 1: their time. They were the let's Calshie and polymarkets way before.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Oh like I said that with them about twenty five
- 7:01Speaker 1: years ago. They were They had markets, and those exact
- 7:05Speaker 1: kind of markets that are out now. Jay had the vision.
- 7:08Speaker 1: They had the vision. There's an article on Gaming Insider
- 7:11Speaker 1: dot com which I'm going to send a JHR producer
- 7:14Speaker 1: to put up a clip of. J Cohen wrote it industry,
- 7:18Speaker 1: the industry that drove me out of my business, took
- 7:21Speaker 1: my ideas. WSX founder J Cohen, a Q and A.
- 7:26Speaker 1: But also what Jay did. Jay has a book out.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It's called Odd Odds Man Out. It is the Rise
- 7:35Speaker 1: and Fall of It. It's well, let me read let
- 7:38Speaker 1: me it's the rise of Fall WSX. But it's also
- 7:42Speaker 1: the untold story of how professional sports crushed the pioneers
- 7:45Speaker 1: of online sports betting. Now they may have been the
- 7:48Speaker 1: pioneers Jay. They I had dinner with Jay here nineteen
- 7:54Speaker 1: ninety eight, ninety nine, two thousand, maybe it was like
- 7:56Speaker 1: twenty something, and the Palm matter. I have had to
- 8:00Speaker 1: Palm sports Book, I'm sorry, Not the Palm Sports Book,
- 8:02Speaker 1: the Palm Restaurant, which gets confused with the Palm Sports
- 8:04Speaker 1: Book all the time. The Palm at the Forum Shops.
- 8:07Speaker 1: That was like the place to go. It's right if
- 8:10Speaker 1: you go outside Caesar's there into the Forum Shops off
- 8:14Speaker 1: to the left. The Palm nowhere near as busy as
- 8:16Speaker 1: it used to be when it was originally owned. Back then,
- 8:19Speaker 1: the Palm was the place to go for all the bookmakers,
- 8:22Speaker 1: the wise guys. Everyone went around that was that was
- 8:24Speaker 1: the place to meet. Well, that's where Jay had. He
- 8:27Speaker 1: had a big gathering of guys that were online on
- 8:31Speaker 1: a chat for him talking. This was the twitters before
- 8:35Speaker 1: there was Twitter out there, before the apps were out.
- 8:38Speaker 1: So Jay hosted a meeting there and I was took
- 8:42Speaker 1: part in that meeting of those guys and I got
- 8:44Speaker 1: to know Jay. And now so they they the problem.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I believe. I didn't read this book yet, but I'm
- 8:51Speaker 1: told the book is great. Some people told me how
- 8:53Speaker 1: good this book. Eve. I'm seeing a thing here and
- 8:57Speaker 1: it says we thought we were doing everything right. It
- 8:59Speaker 1: was Jay Hayden and Steve what happened was they were
- 9:04Speaker 1: even on sixty minutes. Now, when they were on sixty minutes,
- 9:07Speaker 1: I remember the next day I was told they signed
- 9:10Speaker 1: up like twenty five thousand new accounts. Wow, sixty minutes.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Just understand, back then, sixty minutes was the ultimate news
- 9:17Speaker 1: source king Back then, there was not a lot of
- 9:20Speaker 1: news sources on back then unless you watch your Sunday
- 9:23Speaker 1: or specific Sunday night. Every Sunday night, it was the
- 9:26Speaker 1: number one rated show in America for decades. So I
- 9:30Speaker 1: know my grandfather every night had to turn in and
- 9:33Speaker 1: tune in and get and and see that. So unfortunately
- 9:38Speaker 1: Steve wind up committing suicide. Now the reason why is,
- 9:43Speaker 1: I'm sure they're going to point it to point to
- 9:45Speaker 1: it here somewhere. They folded up so all this good
- 9:50Speaker 1: stuff I'm talking about Jay and World Sports Exchange. In
- 9:53Speaker 1: the end, they didn't pay people. So but life has
- 9:56Speaker 1: a way and time as a way of forgiving p well,
- 10:00Speaker 1: as we said when we had Jeff, they do on
- 10:03Speaker 1: all these all these in these mafia channels. They're all
- 10:07Speaker 1: hosted by guys that were rats, but they're now talking
- 10:10Speaker 1: and getting great comments. And you know, with with the
- 10:14Speaker 1: really no one even really goes after them for anything.
- 10:17Speaker 1: And you know, we're in a place now where they
- 10:19Speaker 1: have cameras everywhere, every street corner and stuff. And wise
- 10:23Speaker 1: guys make money, the real wise guys. They make money
- 10:27Speaker 1: almost legitimate ways having buying real estate, flipping things, and
- 10:31Speaker 1: you know they it's it's a total it's a total
- 10:33Speaker 1: different mafia than it was when John Gotti ran the
- 10:36Speaker 1: Gambino crime family. And he may have taken it down too.
- 10:39Speaker 1: You know, it's funny for all the people that say
- 10:41Speaker 1: John Gotti by being so flamboyant and stuff, I'm going
- 10:45Speaker 1: into a different avenue here. Even though I love the
- 10:47Speaker 1: movie Gotti with Armana Sante. That's the greatest, one of
- 10:50Speaker 1: the greatest mafia movies ever. It's free on YouTube, by
- 10:53Speaker 1: the way, Gotti with Armana Sante one of the greatest
- 10:57Speaker 1: Mapia arman Yeah, he was here recently too at the
- 11:01Speaker 1: Sahara and did like a thirty year reunion.
- 11:03Speaker 2: And he might have the best speaking voice.
- 11:06Speaker 1: He does have a great voice. Ever, he was an
- 11:09Speaker 1: American gangster too.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, era.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Yeah, It's amazing how I watched the same movies Shan
- 11:16Speaker 1: over and over again. Yeah, it's red. I said it
- 11:18Speaker 1: on the show before I know. If I have, I'll
- 11:21Speaker 1: give your example rounders on the background. You know every
- 11:24Speaker 1: single word of every single line, so you can multitask
- 11:27Speaker 1: and do other things. I have about twenty five movies
- 11:30Speaker 1: that I watch over and over again. I guess today
- 11:32Speaker 1: I had cast Up Blanca on in the background as
- 11:34Speaker 1: I'm watching as I'm doing stuff. One of my favorite movies. Anyway,
- 11:39Speaker 1: So this is an interesting book that Jay put out there.
- 11:43Speaker 1: They opened up A nineteen ninety five and Antigua, and
- 11:47Speaker 1: they were also featured on HBO Real Sports here, Wall
- 11:50Speaker 1: Street Journal sixty minutes. Like I said, they even took
- 11:53Speaker 1: major advertisements out on major publications. So this is an
- 11:58Speaker 1: interesting story. And that's here on Game gam I'm getting
- 12:03Speaker 1: a plugger Gambling Insider dot com. But I know someone
- 12:07Speaker 1: that sent me that a review. He's like, this book
- 12:11Speaker 1: is unbelievable. I'm one hundred pages in, so it just
- 12:14Speaker 1: talks about I believe now without reading it, I'm not
- 12:17Speaker 1: gonna I'm not sure. I believe Madoff came in and
- 12:21Speaker 1: Madeoff got them for some money, but I know like
- 12:24Speaker 1: Madeoff also got money from like the Pinnacle owners, the
- 12:30Speaker 1: Doc Middlin like, there's a lot of people.
- 12:32Speaker 2: That a lot of fortune gave him some money.
- 12:35Speaker 1: But to be fair, Irvin I think his name is
- 12:40Speaker 1: Irvin Pickard, who was a trustee overseeing all of the
- 12:45Speaker 1: people that were involved with the madoff. He recovered seven
- 12:49Speaker 1: point two billion just off Jeffrey pick Hour in Florida.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Seven point two billion from one person that was the
- 12:55Speaker 1: guy that profited the most from it. Supposedly didn't know
- 12:59Speaker 1: about it, but he drowned in a swimming pool. Weird,
- 13:03Speaker 1: weird happens. Yeah, seven point two billion recovered from him.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Also billions recovered from other people. I'm told up to
- 13:12Speaker 1: about seventy percent of the money was recovered. So you know,
- 13:17Speaker 1: I'm I'm unless I'm wrong, maybe someone could tell me that,
- 13:20Speaker 1: you know, someone that was involved with this and didn't
- 13:22Speaker 1: get anything back, or maybe didn't follow the proper steps
- 13:26Speaker 1: and channels to get things back. I'm told most people
- 13:29Speaker 1: got back, you know, fifty percent. But still it's not
- 13:31Speaker 1: that's still not fair. It's not fair. What made off
- 13:34Speaker 1: did this animal? You know what I mean? Absolutely not
- 13:37Speaker 1: fair at all. So that's one thing there. Going back
- 13:40Speaker 1: to your now going back to your world series, now
- 13:43Speaker 1: you're still filming over there, your action jump.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we're doing action.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Judy.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Still in the new merch store over at Wsop.
- 13:49Speaker 1: The merch store is staying there full time. They closed
- 13:52Speaker 1: the big one by the parish. That was a bigness.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Everything closed. Everything's in the in the nice store. It's
- 13:58Speaker 3: really a nice store. Okay, it's a great set up
- 14:00Speaker 3: over there. So yeah, we're there every week.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Did you hear about this newly hired sportsbook employee over
- 14:08Speaker 1: at virgin who robbed who robbed his own workplace at
- 14:13Speaker 1: nine point for twenty eight thousand dollars? Come on, so yeah,
- 14:19Speaker 1: I mean I'm reading it here. The suspects plan unraveled
- 14:22Speaker 1: quickly after he was filmed entering the casino restroom unmasked
- 14:26Speaker 1: and emerging wearing a mask. So goes into the sportsbook,
- 14:32Speaker 1: into the restroom, he wears a mask, takes the mask,
- 14:37Speaker 1: doesn't wear a mask, comes out dressed like Superman with
- 14:40Speaker 1: a mask. Amazing, So they'll never know. I'll never know
- 14:45Speaker 1: what it is. So security detained the suspect the very
- 14:48Speaker 1: next day when he audaciously showed up for work again.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Come on, there's obviously something wrong with this person though,
- 14:58Speaker 1: But Yeah, like Las Vegas has seen its share of
- 15:02Speaker 1: these legendary heist I was there Sagio a couple of times.
- 15:08Speaker 1: The guy wound up gett they woud up killing him
- 15:09Speaker 1: outside the North entrance, right.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I remember that. That's not too long ago.
- 15:14Speaker 1: There's there's been so many of them though, the West
- 15:16Speaker 1: skate rob the sports book, I mean in the end.
- 15:19Speaker 3: But sometimes they do get away with it, right, Once
- 15:21Speaker 3: in a while. The guy in the motorcycle got away, right, uh.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Used to his profile. I'm just saying.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Motorcycle.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I believe one person got away one, but I
- 15:36Speaker 1: don't advise this.
- 15:37Speaker 2: For any of the pig masks. They they got them.
- 15:40Speaker 1: They wore pig masks jewelry store. I can't believe you
- 15:45Speaker 1: know about it.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I remember that. But that's the guy you're talking about.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Actually they got shot, right, No.
- 15:49Speaker 1: No, total different guys.
- 15:51Speaker 2: They didn't catch the pig masks.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Pig Man got pig Man was arrested. Yeah, they came
- 15:55Speaker 1: with pig this. No one was injured here, but just
- 15:59Speaker 1: to walk in to one of these.
- 16:01Speaker 3: You're not getting cameras everywhere, never mind inside the place.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Every tesla is recording everything that goes on. Now did
- 16:08Speaker 2: you know that?
- 16:09Speaker 1: No, So what do you mean tesla? What do you
- 16:10Speaker 1: mean the car?
- 16:11Speaker 3: Yeah, if you have a Tesla, there's cameras are three
- 16:14Speaker 3: sixty three sixty degree cameras recording all the time, even
- 16:18Speaker 3: when the car is not on, a Tesla is recording
- 16:21Speaker 3: what's going around on around it outside the car. Yes,
- 16:25Speaker 3: I promise, Wow, yes.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Really, yes, you know I've seen one of these crazy
- 16:30Speaker 1: one of the self driving cars.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yeah, this week.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Yeah, drove right into a fire smoke scene. So now
- 16:38Speaker 1: they recall they record. I recalled all the zooke zooke,
- 16:42Speaker 1: they recall them all, really because evidently the smoke from
- 16:48Speaker 1: the any kind of smoke, doesn't it clouds instead of
- 16:52Speaker 1: the car just stopping. Yeah, I decided to drive right
- 16:55Speaker 1: into the like I literally ran like right into like
- 16:57Speaker 1: a fire truck or so I'm not not a fire
- 16:58Speaker 1: walk right into a scene. So they recalled them and
- 17:01Speaker 1: they're fixing them.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Would situations you would think the.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Situations that come up that you wouldn't think of them. Yeah,
- 17:08Speaker 1: so this is one of them. Obviously.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not getting in U.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I need control. Yeah. So so fifty years, about fifty
- 17:15Speaker 1: years from now, uh, they'll be there it's gonna be
- 17:19Speaker 1: real tough. It would be tough for you to get
- 17:20Speaker 1: into one of those George jetson basically Sprockets machine. Right, yeah, yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 1: but you haven't even been in the knees. No, but
- 17:28Speaker 1: you you would do it though, when you like go
- 17:30Speaker 1: from virgin to like.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I don't yes on the strip, not on a freeway.
- 17:34Speaker 1: But well they're not allowed to go on the freeway.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Oh no, they're they're only doing I believe they're only
- 17:37Speaker 1: doing the back roads. They can only go a maximum
- 17:40Speaker 1: of forty five miles an hour, so I believe they
- 17:43Speaker 1: they can't go on the freeway. But anyway, Yeah, that
- 17:46Speaker 1: that arrest of that guy just crazy, blown away, blown
- 17:50Speaker 1: away by that. I can't believe that in that app.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Now let's move on to our wager Wire segment. This
- 17:56Speaker 1: is wager wire dot Com and over at wager Wire app.
- 18:00Speaker 1: So time to move back to baseball football. Now the
- 18:03Speaker 1: World Cup's over. This week's ticket pretty crazy here, it's
- 18:09Speaker 1: mainly over. To be honest with you, twenty bucks to
- 18:11Speaker 1: win fifteen thousand, three seventy and I can go in
- 18:15Speaker 1: to real fast. So this guy had one, two, three, four, five,
- 18:18Speaker 1: six seven after Spain won the World Cup. He has
- 18:23Speaker 1: seven of the eight legs are in the last leg
- 18:27Speaker 1: is the National cy Young Jasob Miserowski to win the
- 18:31Speaker 1: National League Cy Young eight Lake parlay twenty dollars to
- 18:34Speaker 1: win fifteen thousand. Began with six money lines from actually UFC.
- 18:39Speaker 1: He won them all and then he had Spain. Now
- 18:41Speaker 1: he's down to this last leg. So the current bet
- 18:45Speaker 1: value because Misseraki's won, the favorite heres one of the
- 18:48Speaker 1: favorites here Miserowski is. It's worth ten thousand, nine to
- 18:53Speaker 1: seventy nine. Now, I will tell you what does it pay.
- 18:56Speaker 1: If it hits ten fifteen thousand, it's fifteen thousand and seventy.
- 19:02Speaker 1: So that's how much of a favorite. He's currently minus
- 19:05Speaker 1: two fifty to win now, so he's the big favorite
- 19:08Speaker 1: to win. We're half ware past halfway. Yeah, unless he
- 19:10Speaker 1: got injured or something dramatic, but that kind of a number.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Like to me, you're a twenty dollars better.
- 19:16Speaker 2: I'm taking the money and I never say that.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I never say that, but you're a twenty dollars.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Young voting like, I don't know, man, sometimes sometimes they
- 19:25Speaker 3: go a little crazy.
- 19:27Speaker 1: So originally a seven hundred and sixty eighth. The woman
- 19:29Speaker 1: this parlay was worth. Now it's minus two fifty. The
- 19:32Speaker 1: guy's minus two fifty favorite. So he's he's ninety five
- 19:36Speaker 1: percent of the way home. Barring an injury, He's gonna
- 19:39Speaker 1: get there, I would think. So. I will tell you though,
- 19:44Speaker 1: and when I see twenty bucks, dude, take I would agree.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I would agree you got to take the money or
- 19:50Speaker 1: take on a partner, maybe even save yourself as ten
- 19:54Speaker 1: percent sweat equity. But yeah, I would go there, and
- 19:57Speaker 1: I would if you could sell that one. I would
- 19:59Speaker 1: sell that credible wadorwire dot com, the Wade your Wire app. Yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 1: it's incredible to have and to get all those Let
- 20:04Speaker 1: me just let me just look at some of the legs.
- 20:06Speaker 1: This guy, I know he had Spain to win the World.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Cup, a twenty dollars seven leg barlot.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Max Holloway to win winner Patty Pimblet, which I enjoyed
- 20:14Speaker 1: watching him win. He won Gable Stevenson minus twenty eighth
- 20:18Speaker 1: to one Justin Gatchee, which was he was plus four
- 20:21Speaker 1: fifty five.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Yeah, so that that's a big undergo one.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Wow yea, all right, shown om Maley's a big favorite
- 20:27Speaker 1: Nicol guy. This guy, love it all favorites. Yeah, so
- 20:33Speaker 1: I find that kind of interest. Huh So, John, I've
- 20:35Speaker 1: had I've been having this group talk about UFC for
- 20:40Speaker 1: a couple of weeks. Yeah, and you know I I
- 20:44Speaker 1: there's a sharp group that that talks about it and
- 20:46Speaker 1: tells me about some of the things. I gotta ask you, though,
- 20:50Speaker 1: I thought UFC was so hard to beat. I'm gonna say,
- 20:54Speaker 1: for the last five years, are you still dabbling in UFC?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:58Speaker 1: Sure, do you?
- 20:59Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:59Speaker 1: Do you still the Are you still doing some picture
- 21:01Speaker 1: and stuff?
- 21:01Speaker 2: Pretty good? Yeah, I'm pretty good, Bill.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Okay, put me up against your people, really yeah, put
- 21:07Speaker 3: me up against your people, all right, John.
- 21:10Speaker 1: World, seriously UFCA. That's what I was trying to I
- 21:11Speaker 1: was gonna.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I was gonna ask you, if I'm forty five percent
- 21:16Speaker 3: across all sports with underdogs, is that impressive or no?
- 21:21Speaker 1: You'd have to track your actual you have to track
- 21:25Speaker 1: your actual plays play by play, because if you're telling
- 21:28Speaker 1: me forty five percent, that's a big loser. That's it's
- 21:30Speaker 1: hard to go forty Just underdogs, all right, But I'm
- 21:33Speaker 1: saying if you were just in general, but now you're
- 21:34Speaker 1: saying underdogs. So if you're underdogs a plus a dollar,
- 21:37Speaker 1: ten dollars, twenty dollars, fifty dollars, No, then you're not
- 21:40Speaker 1: gonna be a loser still. But if they're plus two
- 21:41Speaker 1: to one or greater, it depends over the sample size.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Too, Okay, so that I'm gonna pull have to see
- 21:47Speaker 3: if they can pull those numbers because I want I've
- 21:49Speaker 3: been meaning to ask you, like, hey, is this worth
- 21:52Speaker 3: bragging about or no? Because some of them plus plus
- 21:54Speaker 3: six hundred, like UFC fights and stuff.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I mean when I say some maybe.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, like a bunch. But yeah, this
- 22:01Speaker 1: is a this is an interesting interesting thing here. So
- 22:06Speaker 1: this was a Vegas myth article that Corey Levitan wrote,
- 22:09Speaker 1: uh that he writes them every week, these these kind
- 22:11Speaker 1: of articles, And it was the casino carpets. Are they
- 22:15Speaker 1: designed to trick you? Perfect idea. Look at this carpet.
- 22:18Speaker 1: So this carpet's funky, it's got It's not just a
- 22:20Speaker 1: regular plane Jane carpet. You know, it has design like
- 22:23Speaker 1: that like design. Ugly carpets are the results of extensioning
- 22:28Speaker 1: extensive market research, claims A website that tacky carpets with
- 22:32Speaker 1: weird lines and curvy patterns actually keep awake and focused
- 22:37Speaker 1: on what they're what you're doing. So I think that's
- 22:39Speaker 1: kind of interesting that it keeps now. This is only
- 22:42Speaker 1: a website. Now this is to me. I just think
- 22:48Speaker 1: it makes it look pretty cool. And you know, just
- 22:50Speaker 1: not like people that say they pump oxygen in. It's
- 22:54Speaker 1: been proven they actually don't pump oxygen. It's just air
- 22:57Speaker 1: conditioning that it's not pumped oxygen in. So it it's
- 23:03Speaker 1: most people. Some people that are in the know disagree,
- 23:06Speaker 1: though the myth is observed, says Scott Rubin, who was
- 23:11Speaker 1: vital Vegas. He says, that's never occurred to any Canseno
- 23:14Speaker 1: manager operating this person or owner I've ever spoken to
- 23:16Speaker 1: to make an ugly carpet so that people will stay
- 23:18Speaker 1: awake or be do a sorry and look up instead
- 23:22Speaker 1: of down. So it's interesting though. I always noticed, like
- 23:24Speaker 1: the Rio's got some funky carp but even here it's
- 23:28Speaker 1: I love funky carpeting. But it's just a myth. Probably
- 23:32Speaker 1: never walk in the wind. I was just winds unbelievable.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Carpet is very nice on the ice. I would look
- 23:38Speaker 1: down there, not up. I would look down at the marble,
- 23:41Speaker 1: those little tiles all over the place, so I would
- 23:44Speaker 1: kind of not I would kind of agree with with Scott.
- 23:47Speaker 2: There is ESPN on this list.
- 23:50Speaker 1: ESPN firing people.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it's on your list, like what is going on?
- 23:55Speaker 3: That happens every year though, but like some legends.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Some big man like Carl Rabbits think he's been there
- 24:01Speaker 1: thirty some years, thirty three years. Yeah. Yeah. ESPN not
- 24:05Speaker 1: my favorite network by the way. It kills your chances
- 24:08Speaker 1: I've ever getting.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I'm sorry, No, I don't care, like I am shocked.
- 24:12Speaker 1: ESPN who put out a nice thing saying, oh, we're
- 24:16Speaker 1: sorry our Steam colleague Howie Schwab passed away. Give it
- 24:19Speaker 1: a break, ESPN. That's what I say. He fired the
- 24:22Speaker 1: guy after twenty some years. He fired a colleague that
- 24:26Speaker 1: gave his life for you guys, wasn't even getting a
- 24:28Speaker 1: ton of money, but you guys fired him. Leving go.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Now you want to say you're sorry, Yeah, take it
- 24:32Speaker 1: on the hot. That's what I think of ESPN and
- 24:34Speaker 1: some of the things on ESPN. Follow a couple of
- 24:37Speaker 1: those guys on ESPNIR with the games they give out,
- 24:39Speaker 1: you'll be in a homeless shelter faster than John with poker.
- 24:42Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, but it's not just ESPN. It's all
- 24:47Speaker 1: a lot of networks. You know, there's talking networks that
- 24:50Speaker 1: talk sports, and they're all sports betting now because they
- 24:53Speaker 1: have these giant sponsors and they're committed to giving out
- 24:56Speaker 1: picks and ruining lives a lot of them. I know,
- 25:00Speaker 1: I'm being a little too tough, but when it comes
- 25:01Speaker 1: to how he was one of my best friends, Howie
- 25:05Speaker 1: Schwab was on this streak. I stayed in his house
- 25:07Speaker 1: every year, stated I was with him all the time,
- 25:09Speaker 1: and when he passed, it was very upsetting to me
- 25:12Speaker 1: that these figazy people came out of the woodwork ESPN included.
- 25:17Speaker 1: But and ESPN, you know, they the Friday Night Fights
- 25:20Speaker 1: went away. You know, I love Teddy Allis the Friday
- 25:23Speaker 1: Night Fights. I love that programming and stuff. And they've
- 25:27Speaker 1: they've lessened his position to hardly anything. Uh, Teddy, who
- 25:30Speaker 1: was a truth talker, He talks to truth. He's gonna,
- 25:33Speaker 1: you know, vote from the hid bike listen. I hate
- 25:35Speaker 1: to say it, I just did you know, people say,
- 25:38Speaker 1: oh my god, you can't talk about ESPN because goda
- 25:40Speaker 1: bet you're gonna be I don't care. I'm good I'm good.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I don't care. I really don't so. But ESPN fired
- 25:47Speaker 1: a lot of people and a couple of people coming out.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I think Stephen A, I think came out and he
- 25:52Speaker 1: was upset. And he's like the highest paid guy in
- 25:54Speaker 1: the network. He was upset at some of the firings there.
- 25:57Speaker 1: So I was shocked, John, how about this genius? This
- 26:02Speaker 1: guy wins one hundred and sixty seven million and power
- 26:05Speaker 1: ball in Kentucky. He's been arrested four times since then.
- 26:08Speaker 1: By the way, it's only been a year April of
- 26:11Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, he's been arrested four times already kicked
- 26:16Speaker 1: the cop in the face. This is his latest.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Wait, come on, yeah.
- 26:19Speaker 1: His indictment his last one is high speed hit and run.
- 26:24Speaker 1: This is the latest in four separate criminal cases since
- 26:27Speaker 1: he won one hundred and sixty seven million fifteen months ago.
- 26:31Speaker 2: No, I don't know what to say.
- 26:33Speaker 1: The wrong people have the money. I can tell you
- 26:35Speaker 1: that because he has a he has a sheet, you know,
- 26:39Speaker 1: low under my arm. Before that, before this where Kentucky,
- 26:43Speaker 1: the wrong people win the money. His legal troubles including burglary,
- 26:47Speaker 1: witness intimidations.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Wait, wait, yeah, blary since winning this.
- 26:51Speaker 1: No, but it stretches back for decades. But he's been arrested,
- 26:56Speaker 1: that's the genius. He's been arrested four times since then.
- 27:00Speaker 2: How is this possible?
- 27:01Speaker 1: I just we bring up that crazy news sometimes. I mean,
- 27:06Speaker 1: just enjoy the money. He's fifty one years old. You're
- 27:09Speaker 1: waiting for your ship to come in here it is
- 27:11Speaker 1: the Queen Mary, and it comes oil out of trouble.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Wait did he kick the cop after winning the hundred?
- 27:19Speaker 3: Wow?
- 27:19Speaker 1: Yes? Great pleaded guilty earlier this year. It's a battery
- 27:23Speaker 1: and resisting arrest violence charge from that incident. Sentenced to
- 27:27Speaker 1: nine days in jail. Find a thousand dollars. Also in February,
- 27:31Speaker 1: that's when he was intimidating a participant in the legal
- 27:34Speaker 1: process over that. So he's been arrested four different times.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I just can't leave. I just can't believe someone. Listen.
- 27:43Speaker 1: That just goes to show your money's not everything. You know,
- 27:46Speaker 1: you can't change who you are sometimes. But I just
- 27:49Speaker 1: think after winning this kind of money, wouldn't that be
- 27:52Speaker 1: a great man?
- 27:54Speaker 4: What are you doing?
- 27:55Speaker 2: Get on a cruise ship?
- 27:57Speaker 1: I don't know, Yeah, buy an island? All right, John,
- 28:00Speaker 1: We're gonna bring on some guests. Okay, John, I want
- 28:03Speaker 1: to bring on my buddies here, James and Steven. They
- 28:06Speaker 1: are the two executive producers from the Circus of Vibrant
- 28:08Speaker 1: documentary that I've been featured on. I've actually been on it,
- 28:11Speaker 1: I think every year, right, we seen it. This new
- 28:14Speaker 1: one that drops tonight on VSON on YouTube was the
- 28:18Speaker 1: Quest for eighteen point seven million. Guys, you want to
- 28:22Speaker 1: introduce yourselves a little bit and explain what you did.
- 28:24Speaker 1: And you were one of the original founders of VSON.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Am I right, yes, back in the day, back in
- 28:28Speaker 1: the day.
- 28:28Speaker 5: So yeah, thank you, Bill, and you have been a
- 28:30Speaker 5: great part of our show every season. This is the
- 28:32Speaker 5: third season that we've done this that we've done. The
- 28:35Speaker 5: docu series around the Circus Survivor Contest started out year.
- 28:39Speaker 5: The first year we did it was the contest end
- 28:41Speaker 5: of nine point two million. We've seen it growing every year.
- 28:43Speaker 5: Season two is fourteen point two million, this year, Season
- 28:47Speaker 5: three eighteen point seven million, and we're gonna do a
- 28:49Speaker 5: season four. So we're gonna be shooting the twenty twenty
- 28:51Speaker 5: sixth season. Derek's already guaranteed twenty million, so it's gonna
- 28:54Speaker 5: be at least twenty million, right, we'll see where it
- 28:56Speaker 5: ends up. But yeah, we've been We've been following this
- 28:58Speaker 5: contest and the contestants and the whole journey through Circus
- 29:02Speaker 5: Orvivor in detail, serious detail every year for the past
- 29:06Speaker 5: three seasons, and can we do it again for this
- 29:08Speaker 5: upcoming year?
- 29:09Speaker 2: Cool?
- 29:09Speaker 1: James yourself too, how did you get involved in this? Like?
- 29:12Speaker 1: Were you guys? Were you win the sports betting scene
- 29:14Speaker 1: or the gambling scene or just the movie scene.
- 29:17Speaker 6: Yeah, so the production arm of it, that's myself, David
- 29:21Speaker 6: matt Our business Stephen being with Vson, talked to Vson
- 29:25Speaker 6: folks said hey, we need a team to help us
- 29:27Speaker 6: put together a documentary.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Long story short.
- 29:29Speaker 6: We got in touch and said, hey, let's partner up
- 29:31Speaker 6: on the show and create a show. We started filming
- 29:34Speaker 6: nine point two and we just kind of started filming
- 29:36Speaker 6: and saying what are we doing and what story are
- 29:37Speaker 6: we telling? And how's this going to go? And then
- 29:39Speaker 6: obviously it's a story, and the season evolved. We started
- 29:41Speaker 6: kind of figuring out who our main characters were and
- 29:44Speaker 6: how to tell the story. Nobody flipped the season two
- 29:47Speaker 6: fourteen point two million, and then some people started coming
- 29:50Speaker 6: up to us said hey, we saw the documentary last year,
- 29:53Speaker 6: can we be on your show? And then the third
- 29:55Speaker 6: season eighteen point seven million people say, we've watched both seasons.
- 29:59Speaker 1: We love it.
- 30:00Speaker 6: End us footage now in Florida, in Michigan, in Texas
- 30:03Speaker 6: of their weekly sweats.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Steven does a great job staying in.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Touch with those people.
- 30:07Speaker 6: Obviously, Steven Touch stays in touch with you. As you mentioned,
- 30:11Speaker 6: you've been on our show. I think every single season.
- 30:13Speaker 6: You've obviously played Grand Dcma. Last year you played ten
- 30:16Speaker 6: Survivor entries. Yeah, it's been quite a ride.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Now watch explain to people here because we're gonna put
- 30:23Speaker 1: this out probably as a short two which on Twitter,
- 30:25Speaker 1: which you've got a lot of us. So people that
- 30:27Speaker 1: don't know what the show is, explain to them exactly
- 30:31Speaker 1: what the show is, what market, what are you going after?
- 30:34Speaker 1: Who would just anyone that wants to come into get
- 30:37Speaker 1: involved in a huge contest like this, But it also
- 30:40Speaker 1: shows like trials and tribulations of what they've done throughout
- 30:43Speaker 1: the year. Guys, am, I.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll say something quick, and you said something quick.
- 30:47Speaker 6: So Circus Survivor the Quest for eighteen point seven million
- 30:51Speaker 6: coming out tonight. What you're going to see on that
- 30:53Speaker 6: is pulling back the curtain behind the scenes, real reality television.
- 30:58Speaker 6: People putting in their weekly pick, sweating out games, win, lose, tie,
- 31:02Speaker 6: whatever it is. We're filming all of it, and then
- 31:05Speaker 6: we put a story together at the end of the season.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, nice speak.
- 31:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:08Speaker 3: No.
- 31:09Speaker 5: So it's amazing because there's last year is eighteen over
- 31:13Speaker 5: eighteen thousand people.
- 31:14Speaker 4: Who signed up.
- 31:16Speaker 5: This year it's gonna be over twenty thousand people. So
- 31:18Speaker 5: we can obviously talk to every about it, but we
- 31:19Speaker 5: try and talk to as many people as we can,
- 31:21Speaker 5: get as many different characters as we can, and you
- 31:24Speaker 5: follow them as they play this contest.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Now you've played the contest.
- 31:27Speaker 5: You know how Like it's so simple on one hand,
- 31:30Speaker 5: but it's also so complicated. It's amazing that every year
- 31:33Speaker 5: we only end up with a handful of people. Eighteen
- 31:35Speaker 5: thousand people started last year, five made it all the
- 31:37Speaker 5: way through, and that's it. It always boils down to that.
- 31:40Speaker 5: So we love to tell the story. We follow people
- 31:42Speaker 5: on their path through their journey. As we said before,
- 31:45Speaker 5: they send us footage even if they can't be here
- 31:47Speaker 5: for us to film them in person. They send US footage.
- 31:50Speaker 5: It's remarkable. The sad part is virtually all of them
- 31:54Speaker 5: end up losing at some point along the way. So
- 31:57Speaker 5: we get to meet more people as we film through
- 31:58Speaker 5: week to week, and we kind of follow the path
- 32:00Speaker 5: as we go through the entire season, and it's just
- 32:03Speaker 5: this great, incredible journey and we meet the great characters,
- 32:06Speaker 5: we have great stories.
- 32:07Speaker 1: It's fun.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Yeah, fantastic.
- 32:09Speaker 1: You guys start tonight on YouTube. Tonight's the first episode
- 32:13Speaker 1: is does a new episode drop every every Wednesday?
- 32:17Speaker 6: Every Wednesdays, so there's eight episodes this season. Everyone'sday one
- 32:21Speaker 6: will drop leading right up to NFL kickoff with John
- 32:23Speaker 6: you had a question.
- 32:24Speaker 3: That was wondering, are you able to capture the different
- 32:27Speaker 3: people's process to how they arrive at their picks, because
- 32:31Speaker 3: I'm sure there's some people that are super analytical and
- 32:33Speaker 3: they crunch all these different stats, and then there's probably
- 32:36Speaker 3: people to just go Greendale beat Denver.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Or I or I like the Green team, so I'm
- 32:42Speaker 2: picking them.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Whatever it is. Masan does some people some people.
- 32:46Speaker 6: Some people say we spend hours every week diving into it,
- 32:51Speaker 6: the analytics, the weather, who's in the injury report, all that.
- 32:55Speaker 6: Other people just say oh, it's an hour before I
- 32:58Speaker 6: like that game?
- 32:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:00Speaker 5: Another great factor of this is that it's mostly guys
- 33:04Speaker 5: coming into playing, right, it's kind of a male dominated industry.
- 33:07Speaker 4: But then when they bring.
- 33:08Speaker 5: Their their their girlfriend, their wife, whoever with them, and
- 33:11Speaker 5: they watch their husband or their boyfriend who play and they.
- 33:15Speaker 4: See what, you only lasted two weeks.
- 33:20Speaker 5: And they do so, then we get a lot of
- 33:22Speaker 5: women play because they say, what, I only have to
- 33:24Speaker 5: pick one team, no spread, no numbers involved. It's very simple,
- 33:27Speaker 5: it's very basic. I can do this as well. So
- 33:29Speaker 5: we get a lot of women who participate because it's
- 33:32Speaker 5: anybody can, right, And and you know, it then becomes
- 33:35Speaker 5: a competition who's gonna last longer, who's gonna go further,
- 33:38Speaker 5: who's gonna go deeper into the contest.
- 33:39Speaker 3: It seems like it should be so easy, right to
- 33:42Speaker 3: pick a game, one game a.
- 33:44Speaker 4: Week, no spread, it just wins.
- 33:45Speaker 3: It seems like it should be so easy to win,
- 33:47Speaker 3: but it's so hard.
- 33:48Speaker 5: Yeah, it's fascinating. Every year it changes, it varies from
- 33:53Speaker 5: year to year, but every year, on average, after three weeks,
- 33:55Speaker 5: seventy five percent of the contest is eliminated. That's if
- 33:58Speaker 5: you were to say to somebody, can you pick three
- 34:02Speaker 5: winners in the first three weeks of the football season.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Just pick a winner. Everybody say, of course I can
- 34:07Speaker 4: use that. Of course I can't. The people and these.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Are pretty relegiic, you know, pretty people who know football
- 34:12Speaker 5: can't make it.
- 34:13Speaker 4: Through the first three weeks.
- 34:14Speaker 2: That's because of any given Sunday.
- 34:17Speaker 6: You've said that a couple times on our show, because
- 34:21Speaker 6: that's what happens that Sunday.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Well, guys on YouTube, you got the show for free
- 34:26Speaker 1: every week. It drops like Thursdays on YouTube every Wednesday.
- 34:30Speaker 6: So Natalie is on YouTube, but it's on nesson, It's
- 34:34Speaker 6: on MSG, It's on Game Plus in Canada. There's some
- 34:36Speaker 6: other partners coming on, so there's a.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I didn't know you guys were on nesson MSG in
- 34:41Speaker 1: New York.
- 34:42Speaker 6: So a lot of new eyes are gonna be on
- 34:44Speaker 6: it this year. But it is on YouTube's super easy
- 34:46Speaker 6: to find right on.
- 34:47Speaker 4: Visa's YouTube page.
- 34:48Speaker 6: Circus Sports is putting out all kinds of teasers and clips,
- 34:51Speaker 6: so just go to Circus Sports and social media direct
- 34:53Speaker 6: your right to it.
- 34:54Speaker 4: So super excited.
- 34:55Speaker 5: And if you if you're if your audience comes to
- 34:57Speaker 5: play Survivor seek us out. We'll get in the documentary.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Whatever you even talk to Oh wow, don't tell John
- 35:03Speaker 1: that because he'll enter. John just wants to be on TV.
- 35:06Speaker 1: He just wants to have someone recognize him. He lives
- 35:08Speaker 1: for that. I'm a big ball bums pressure you could tell. Okay, guys,
- 35:12Speaker 1: I want to bring my buddy Scott on here, and
- 35:14Speaker 1: I want to explain what happens and what a proxy is.
- 35:17Speaker 1: People dm me, text me, put me on socials to
- 35:21Speaker 1: reach out. They want to know all the time. You know, hey,
- 35:24Speaker 1: I want to get in this contest. I'm coming out
- 35:26Speaker 1: to Vegas. I want to know about a proxy. So
- 35:29Speaker 1: I have known Scott for a long time and I
- 35:33Speaker 1: personally was away last year and I had Scott put
- 35:36Speaker 1: put in twenty picks for me, and he is so detailed.
- 35:41Speaker 1: I was like, I gotta bring you on a show,
- 35:43Speaker 1: like every show, every ticket. John was like, I would
- 35:46Speaker 1: tell him, all right, I want the Kantasity Chiefs. He goes, Okay,
- 35:50Speaker 1: pick number one Kansas City Chiefs. Submit and I was like, hey,
- 35:54Speaker 1: I already told you that. He goes, No, we do
- 35:56Speaker 1: that on every entry. So Scott explain to people and
- 36:00Speaker 1: first of allt's talk about your site. So your site
- 36:02Speaker 1: is called Vegas Horsepools dot com, Vegas horse Pools p ols.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Correct, what'd you get?
- 36:08Speaker 1: What's horse? Where'd you get the horse thing?
- 36:10Speaker 7: Well, when I first signed up for Twitter, I had
- 36:12Speaker 7: no intentions of ever posting, so I had to come
- 36:15Speaker 7: up with the name. I got no name. So I
- 36:18Speaker 7: decided to take three words and smash them together. Because
- 36:23Speaker 7: the odds are nobody else is probably going to pick
- 36:25Speaker 7: the three random words that I do. So I thought,
- 36:29Speaker 7: I live in Vegas. Let's make Vegas be the first word.
- 36:32Speaker 7: Second word is I was really, really big.
- 36:35Speaker 4: Into horse racing at one time. I bet a lot
- 36:38Speaker 4: of money.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I like this guy Bill.
- 36:42Speaker 4: Well, let me tell you the rest of the story.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Maybe you won't.
- 36:45Speaker 7: So the second word I put was horse And what
- 36:47Speaker 7: I specialized in horse racing was what's called negative pools. Yeah,
- 36:57Speaker 7: it's dead, it's gone. If you want to talk about
- 37:00Speaker 7: what we talk about it years ago, years ago, they
- 37:02Speaker 7: used to have pools where so much money was that
- 37:04Speaker 7: there was a favorite that that was gonna be in
- 37:07Speaker 7: the money most of the time.
- 37:08Speaker 1: And you get the minimum that horsephrase tracks pay was
- 37:11Speaker 1: two dollars and ten cents ten cent proper for every
- 37:13Speaker 1: two dollars. You wouldn't be interested in it's not cambling,
- 37:16Speaker 1: you wouldn't be interested in the right.
- 37:17Speaker 4: But yeah, but he's missing the good part.
- 37:19Speaker 7: I had a formula that would tell me how much
- 37:21Speaker 7: to bet on every horse in the race, So I
- 37:24Speaker 7: really didn't care if the horse ran out or not,
- 37:27Speaker 7: because if he ran out, I made tons of money.
- 37:31Speaker 7: All I was trying to do is pick up the
- 37:33Speaker 7: comp's the comfort like two percent, so I could know
- 37:36Speaker 7: that I could just pick up comp after comp.
- 37:38Speaker 4: It was amazing. It was like money on the street.
- 37:41Speaker 4: You had to pick it up.
- 37:42Speaker 7: So that's where I got the three words and smash
- 37:44Speaker 7: them together. Vegas horse pulls.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Okay, good, all right, excellent. Now your proxy service people
- 37:50Speaker 1: can reach out to you. I'm seeing they they could
- 37:52Speaker 1: reach out to you here, and you're also going to
- 37:54Speaker 1: be here at the Oh, let's go, let's go with
- 37:57Speaker 1: the price. Wait a minute, so if you want to
- 37:59Speaker 1: get in survive, it's one hundred dollars perentry circle millions,
- 38:02Speaker 1: two hundred dollars perentry. Now, because I don't use a proxy,
- 38:05Speaker 1: I don't know why millions because it's more time consuming.
- 38:08Speaker 7: There's five entries and you're going to be in at
- 38:10Speaker 7: the entire season, but the survivor people are probably going
- 38:14Speaker 7: to die out somewhere about halfway point. Okay, remember last
- 38:18Speaker 7: year everybody died what we three? So yeah, and that
- 38:23Speaker 7: seems like a decent price. Okay, the reason the price,
- 38:26Speaker 7: I've actually lowered the price from last year. I had
- 38:28Speaker 7: a long discussion with Fats and Fats and I argued,
- 38:31Speaker 7: which you probably won't believe that Fats would argue with somebody,
- 38:34Speaker 7: but yeah, well you fat, Yeah, yeah, great guy. And
- 38:40Speaker 7: he'll be in the Hall of Fame. He'll be indocted
- 38:41Speaker 7: this year in the Hall of Fame. I can't wait
- 38:43Speaker 7: to see that ceremony. But me and him argued about
- 38:46Speaker 7: that for hours, and he said, Scott, just lower your price,
- 38:49Speaker 7: make it an even hundred dollars and just let it
- 38:51Speaker 7: go with that.
- 38:52Speaker 4: And I thought about it. You know, And my wife
- 38:54Speaker 4: does a lot of the.
- 38:55Speaker 7: Sign up for me because during bet Bash, that's my
- 38:58Speaker 7: party week, right, that's Christmas, that's my Thanksgiving, that's my birthday.
- 39:03Speaker 7: I'm having a blast. She does all the sign ups.
- 39:05Speaker 7: It's a whole lot easier here in the sportsbook she'll
- 39:08Speaker 7: be in the sportsbook during the bet Bast.
- 39:10Speaker 1: You're in the sportsbook doing best with the hat on.
- 39:14Speaker 4: Yeah, she'll have a hat on.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Yeah, she'll have with the hat with the advertisement.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Oh.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 39:18Speaker 4: And she'll have and Jeff has her a seat over
- 39:20Speaker 4: here in the back.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Okay, she'll be right there. Okay, good.
- 39:24Speaker 7: But she'll also on Monday and Tuesday, she'll be down
- 39:28Speaker 7: at my uh my party. I have a party every
- 39:31Speaker 7: year for bet Bash that I started at bet Batch
- 39:34Speaker 7: number two, where everybody gets there. It's a networking event
- 39:38Speaker 7: and if anybody wants to sign up for the proxy,
- 39:40Speaker 7: my wife will walk them over across for the d
- 39:43Speaker 7: and sign them up. But it's a great networking event.
- 39:46Speaker 7: I hope you'll come.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Let me. I told you I come there one day.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Now you have a couple of days right right now,
- 39:51Speaker 1: let me ask you. This bet Bash that's like one
- 39:54Speaker 1: of your big events too. You love that bash. It
- 39:56Speaker 1: it's a big thing for you. You're always pumped up for.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Is bet Beast show out?
- 40:01Speaker 4: No, it's not sold out. He's got a handful of tickets.
- 40:04Speaker 1: And Spanky yesterday.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Maybe it's the vip some VIPs sold out. He's got
- 40:09Speaker 4: a few general mission left.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Okay, so Bete Batch is going on and there's still
- 40:14Speaker 1: could be you can still get tickets for that. But
- 40:16Speaker 1: you're at Vegas Horsepools. The website Vegas Horsepools dot com.
- 40:21Speaker 1: It takes you to the next site there. And like
- 40:24Speaker 1: I said, guys, the reason why I wanted to bring
- 40:26Speaker 1: Scott on not only because he was my friend when
- 40:28Speaker 1: he went over, I'm going to tell you for the
- 40:30Speaker 1: first time ever, you're not gonna know that. You're not
- 40:31Speaker 1: gonna believe this. I had twenty picks to put in,
- 40:35Speaker 1: and as I'm putting him in, what's the word you say? Submit?
- 40:37Speaker 1: What's the last word you say? On the phone? How
- 40:39Speaker 1: do you do it?
- 40:39Speaker 4: Tell people how you do I did it with you
- 40:41Speaker 4: on the phone, because I don't do it with people
- 40:42Speaker 4: on the phone.
- 40:43Speaker 2: No, no, no, no.
- 40:44Speaker 7: Nobody gets it on the phone. They do it on
- 40:45Speaker 7: the website. Let me tell you how the website works. Okay,
- 40:48Speaker 7: So you're what you'll get with me unless your bill
- 40:51Speaker 7: and you have a late minute edition, right, what you'll
- 40:53Speaker 7: do is you'll log onto the website. I have a
- 40:55Speaker 7: secure website. It keeps track of your picks. The reason
- 40:59Speaker 7: you wanted to track is in Survivor. You can't bet
- 41:02Speaker 7: Pittsburgh on week why, and you can't pit Pictsure on
- 41:05Speaker 7: week two.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Wow.
- 41:06Speaker 7: So when you go to log on my website and
- 41:08Speaker 7: you say I want to play Pittsburgh on week two,
- 41:10Speaker 7: he says.
- 41:10Speaker 4: You can't do that.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Let me tell you that that is so important.
- 41:14Speaker 4: It's a big it's a big problem that people have.
- 41:17Speaker 7: But my website tries to take it from the customer's
- 41:20Speaker 7: point of view. The customer wants to make sure their
- 41:24Speaker 7: picks are in. They're playing to win. The people that
- 41:27Speaker 7: are playing with me want to win this contest. So
- 41:30Speaker 7: when they put their picks in and hit some min
- 41:33Speaker 7: my system looks at it, validates it, and immediately sends
- 41:37Speaker 7: them an email and said this is what you pick one, two, three, four,
- 41:41Speaker 7: So they have no fear that I got it. But
- 41:45Speaker 7: it goes one step further. Now, when I look at
- 41:48Speaker 7: their stuff and I intererim into the Circa actual app,
- 41:54Speaker 7: I tell the system. The system says, okay, this guy
- 41:58Speaker 7: needs to know, so it immediately sends you an email
- 42:01Speaker 7: and says Circa now has accepted your picks. But my
- 42:05Speaker 7: system goes further than that. You want to sign up
- 42:08Speaker 7: with millions with me perfect. You put in your five picks.
- 42:12Speaker 7: After the games have been played, my system looks at
- 42:15Speaker 7: the pores, grades your entry and says you went four
- 42:18Speaker 7: and one this week or five and oh, and send
- 42:21Speaker 7: you another one.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Wow.
- 42:22Speaker 4: If you're in Survivor, it will send you a messeatine
- 42:25Speaker 4: and said.
- 42:25Speaker 1: You're kind of saying that there's no way to make
- 42:27Speaker 1: a mistake.
- 42:29Speaker 7: You could still make a mistake. But I've eliminated almost everything.
- 42:33Speaker 7: I'm doing everything I can't well. I'm trying to put
- 42:35Speaker 7: the confidence in the customer that they know where their
- 42:40Speaker 7: entry is because they know I received it, because they
- 42:43Speaker 7: got the email. They know it went into CIRCA. Because
- 42:45Speaker 7: they got the email, they know what.
- 42:47Speaker 4: They're grade was.
- 42:48Speaker 1: They forget Do you alert them? Okay, there's another part this.
- 42:52Speaker 1: You forget that, John I have. It's embarrassing. Three years ago,
- 42:56Speaker 1: I forgot to put my pics in. I forgot them
- 42:58Speaker 1: a piction week one.
- 43:00Speaker 2: I bet it's easier than saying I blew three.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Thousand bucks on something I want a certain part of
- 43:04Speaker 1: the car. Because I would only go last minute to
- 43:07Speaker 1: put the millions in, I forgot to put them in.
- 43:09Speaker 4: You can't do that with my system. Here's why.
- 43:12Speaker 7: My system About noon on Friday, it looks over my
- 43:17Speaker 7: clientele and says, look, we're.
- 43:19Speaker 4: Not getting very many entries in here. I wonder if
- 43:22Speaker 4: people for God.
- 43:23Speaker 7: So what it does is it sends you a very
- 43:25Speaker 7: polite email. It says, crack man, remember it's Friday, I
- 43:29Speaker 7: need your picks.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Gotcha? Yeah?
- 43:31Speaker 4: Perfect? So now about it?
- 43:33Speaker 2: They do? What time? Five are they doing?
- 43:35Speaker 4: I have to have everything at seven pm on Friday night.
- 43:38Speaker 7: So about five o'clock, the system goes back through and
- 43:42Speaker 7: sees who hasn't done what they're supposed to do. When
- 43:46Speaker 7: you sign up with me, You give me your email address,
- 43:49Speaker 7: you give me your Twitter name, you give me your
- 43:51Speaker 7: telephone number.
- 43:52Speaker 4: So what he does at two hours to go, Wait a.
- 43:56Speaker 7: Minute, crackman hasn't done anything with me. I just want
- 43:59Speaker 7: to nudge him. So two hours before, my system goes
- 44:02Speaker 7: out there and sends you an SMS. And then if
- 44:05Speaker 7: you decide to ignore that, at seven o'clock, you get
- 44:08Speaker 7: to talk to me because I call you person.
- 44:10Speaker 4: Hey, yeah, I call you Personcott, Thanks for coming on
- 44:13Speaker 4: phone calls? Do you have to make?
- 44:14Speaker 2: Usually?
- 44:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good question.
- 44:15Speaker 7: On average, most people have one bad week a year interesting,
- 44:19Speaker 7: So I make a bunch of phone calls, but I
- 44:22Speaker 7: also don't want them losing three thousand dollars by not
- 44:26Speaker 7: putting their picking.
- 44:27Speaker 4: So then if you want to talk to me, just
- 44:28Speaker 4: don't put your picks. In guarantee you get me.
- 44:30Speaker 3: Out of there.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Guys Vegas Horsepools dot com Scott, what a great proxy
- 44:35Speaker 1: to have.
