Speaker 1: And I believe with Holy Spirit which just guided me

Speaker 1: thing is, I'd rather have golly guidance than any other guidance. Hey, man,

Speaker 1: you know, guidance counselors in school, they had their purpose.

Speaker 1: They still have their purpose, they have their position, they

Speaker 1: have their reasons for doing what they do. But usually

Speaker 1: a guidance counselor in school is basing their information on

Speaker 1: worldly principles, not Kingdom principles. Usually, I know there's Christians

Speaker 1: in the field of guidance, counselor in schools. But I

Speaker 1: probably I would imagine that they have to sign off

Speaker 1: and on things that they can't approach the students in

Speaker 1: a biblical manner or in a religious way. They have

Speaker 1: to approach the students in a way that the school

Speaker 1: board deems to be the right way to do it.

Speaker 1: But golly guidance, I'll take that over any type of

Speaker 1: guidance anytime, any day, a man godly guidance, because I

Speaker 1: know for sure, one hundred percent. I don't know about you.

Speaker 1: You know about my testimony that it was because of

Speaker 1: golly principles and golly guidance and golly men that brought

Speaker 1: me into a realization of my sin and my need

Speaker 1: I believe this is going to touch the hearts of

Speaker 1: I believe the way we start the day really matters,

Speaker 1: especially when we're starting to day focus on the author

Speaker 1: of the scripture, which is the Father, Son and Holy ghosts. Amen.

Speaker 1: All three and one. We don't believe in three guys

Speaker 1: as Christians. Amen. We believe in one God, three persons,

Speaker 1: three different sets of responsibilities, but yet unified, Amen, as one.

Speaker 1: triune God. There's reasons why we believe in the scriptures

Speaker 1: to be true, from Genesis all the way to Revelation.

Speaker 1: Why because the Bible is a living word, active sharpening

Speaker 1: at any double ed short But we're here for godly guidance, Amen,

Speaker 1: my mind. There one scripture, but this one chapter in Proverbs.

Speaker 1: when you gather with men, especially as iron sharpens iron,

Speaker 1: so one man sharpens and influences another. How through discussion,

Speaker 1: a man, we reason with one another, We speak to

Speaker 1: one another, we rebuke one another, We pray for one another,

Speaker 1: We encourage and inspire one another. A man, we guide

Speaker 1: each other through godly guidance. If you're filled with holy spirit,

Speaker 1: I'm filled with Holy spirit. Amen. Let's have a discussion.

Speaker 1: Let's make sure that iron sharpens iron, so one man

Speaker 1: sharpens and influence another through right discussion. We need to talk.

Speaker 1: I know for me, believe it or not. As a podcaster.

Speaker 1: situations and people, I don't say much. I like to

Speaker 1: listen more than what I than would have to say,

Speaker 1: because I noticed, at least for me, that when I

Speaker 1: do say something, it's like like a thorist hammer sometimes

Speaker 1: and people think I'm trying to beat somebody down with

Speaker 1: a hammer, but I'm not. Just answering or maybe just

Speaker 1: making a suggestion, or maybe guiding people to the word

Speaker 1: of God, or maybe you know, offering to pray for somebody,

Speaker 1: or maybe asking people. So maybe think about this. That's

Speaker 1: the way I'm designed. That's the why I'm built. People

Speaker 1: are built differently, Amen. But God has a purpose and

Speaker 1: a reason. I understand through godly guidance. And this is

Speaker 1: what happened. When I got saved. I was straight from

Speaker 1: you know, the streets, the street life, the party life,

Speaker 1: into the church. Right. So I was very hard headed.

Speaker 1: I was zealous. I was doing things way out of line.

Speaker 1: So my first pastor, Pastor Randy Amen, he dealt with

Speaker 1: my heart headedness, stubbornness, Amen, and he dealt with me

Speaker 1: well right and through the years while I was being
11:43
Speaker 1: grown in the faith. Amen. Pastor Randy was the one

Speaker 1: who laid hands on me and called me evangelists very first,

Speaker 1: right in front of the congregation. I don't know if

Speaker 1: he remembers that, Amen. And guess what happened. I became

Speaker 1: an evangelist, Amen, preaching the gospel. Soon after I became

Speaker 1: the youth outreach director, Amen, and then for years in

Speaker 1: that position doing outreach. You tell me to do outreach,

Speaker 1: I'm gonna do outreach, Amen, And it was a funded outreach.

Speaker 1: Thank you Jesus that we had funds to get these

Speaker 1: teens and these young adults in a good way, Amen,

Speaker 1: to go and reach the loss and reach families with

Speaker 1: the gospel message of the Lord Jesus. Fast forward, things

Speaker 1: happened in my life, things with me and my wife,

Speaker 1: children passing away and all that stuff. And then we decided,

Speaker 1: or I decided first to go to another congregation, right.

Speaker 1: And there the reason why I went to the second

Speaker 1: congregation because I heard too much negativity. Listen closely. I

Speaker 1: heard negative things about this congregation. And if you're like me,

Speaker 1: You're like, why are people talking about this church? So

Speaker 1: I had to go check it out for myself. Amen,

Speaker 1: I'm not gonna follow gossip and follow you know, accusations.

Speaker 1: I'm gonna go and find out for myself. You have

Speaker 1: to go to the source. I believe all the time

Speaker 1: you should go to the source to get the truth.

Speaker 1: There's facts and then there's truth. Stood there twenty eleven

Speaker 1: to present, Amen, and I'm like, wow, this is amazing.

Speaker 1: Then with that, I was in certain positions of leadership,

Speaker 1: certain positions of music ministry and all that stuff, just

Speaker 1: going along with what God has in my life, being

Speaker 1: guided by godly men, being guided guided by golly spiritual parents. Amen.

Speaker 1: I'm fortunate to have an aquilla and a priscilla like

Speaker 1: you see in the scriptures. Amen. They heard me preach

Speaker 1: the gospel. They knew that I was a preacher and evangelist. Amen.

Speaker 1: It's a but you need to sharpen up in these areas.

Speaker 1: And they're still helping me shopping up in certain areas.

Speaker 1: Especially Pastor Ralph Richard, which I call my spiritual dad. Amen.

Speaker 1: He is the one that challenges me, that increases my faith,

Speaker 1: that challenges me to go into the scriptures. Amen. And

Speaker 1: he's the one that sharpens my iron as well as

Speaker 1: Pastor Ran in the beginning, Pastor Charles now so many

Speaker 1: them all, I'm gonna fail, and I'm gonna I don't

Speaker 1: want to insult anyone. But pastors that know me in

Speaker 1: the Lea Valley and beyond, and that have encouraged me,

Speaker 1: the scriptures will back it up. If I'm wrong, the

Speaker 1: as iron sharpers iron. So this godly guidance man is

Speaker 1: a way that we as believers lovingly help each other.

Speaker 1: We're helping each other stay on track spiritually. I don't

Speaker 1: like to be idle because the idle mind right is dangerous.

Speaker 1: I don't like to be disconnected because when you're disconnected,

Speaker 1: that's dangerous. The Bible says it's not good for man

Speaker 1: to be alone, and there's multi reasons for that event.

Speaker 1: And if you read the scriptures, it's an amazing thing.

Speaker 1: From Adam all the way through Abraham, Elijah, King, David,

Speaker 1: all these Solomon, what's the other when I'm thinking of Samson,

Speaker 1: they all had these issues with woman. Adam trusted Eve

Speaker 1: to eat the forbidden fruit. Abraham had to lie about

Speaker 1: who his wife was when he was going through certain issues.

Speaker 1: I can't forget Moses. I believe Moses and his wife

Speaker 1: seem to be separated from what I see in the

Speaker 1: scriptures to until the end of his life. But he

Speaker 1: still did what God wanted him to do reluctantly, but

Speaker 1: he did. God did use him. David, you know, staying

Speaker 1: behind when he was supposed to be on the front

Speaker 1: line serving his people. A man ended up staying home

Speaker 1: and get into a little issue, a big issue actually

Speaker 1: that led to murder, that led to adultery with Bathsheba.

Speaker 1: Then you have Samson that was enticed by women. And

Speaker 1: this one woman, Delilah, I believe her name was right. Well,

Speaker 1: trap them man, y'all could go down a list of

Speaker 1: so many men. Elijah was known for being one of

Speaker 1: the most powerful prophets, and then Jezebel has him running.

Speaker 1: This is just amazing. But I believe through Godly guidance,

Speaker 1: all these men made it past All these men made

Speaker 1: it to the faith chapter. All these men made it

Speaker 1: through a man because of Godly counsel, not of what

Speaker 1: they wanted to do, not because of the opinion of people,

Speaker 1: not because of their position, but not because of their accolades,

Speaker 1: not because they could get these women or they were

Speaker 1: manipulated by this woman. There was a man right, what

Speaker 1: was his name, John the Baptists that because of all

Speaker 1: women a woman's wish right, his head was placed on

Speaker 1: a platter. Cut this man's head off because a young

Speaker 1: lady said, you know, this is what I want, John

Speaker 1: Baptist's head on a platter. So I'm mindful of all

Speaker 1: of that, but I see Godly guidance all through that.

Speaker 1: You might be saying why did you mention all those women?

Speaker 1: And why did you mention all that? Because if it

Speaker 1: wasn't for gollly guidance, right, all those men of God

Speaker 1: would have been known for something totally different. If you

Speaker 1: look at their failures and you stay there, you wouldn't

Speaker 1: know that they were being guided by golly sound prophets, apostles, evangelists, disciples,

Speaker 1: amen a quilla and priscillas, like teams of married couples,

Speaker 1: people who were in the scriptures, in a book of

Speaker 1: acts helping one another. Golly guidance. It's a thing. It's

Speaker 1: a beautiful thing to watch and a beautiful thing to

Speaker 1: be a part of. When you're part of golly guidance,

Speaker 1: So the scripture eyes Iron sharpens iron, so one person

Speaker 1: sharpens another. We need to encourage each other during the

Speaker 1: tough seasons of life. Encouragement means that we are ready

Speaker 1: to bring you up, not tell you down. Listen. If

Speaker 1: you're ever in a meeting with me and it gets sense,

Speaker 1: I want to make sure towards the end of that

Speaker 1: meeting that we leave out of there encouraged, regardless if

Speaker 1: we agree with something or disagree with something or not

Speaker 1: regardless if I'm not receiving what you're telling me, or

Speaker 1: you're not receiving what I'm telling you, that needs to

Speaker 1: be encouragement, right, faith lifted up, hope. Amen. Sometimes we

Speaker 1: hurt each other with our words. Even the truth sometimes hurts.

Speaker 1: gently correcting when somebody is veering off course. It's simple, man,

Speaker 1: it's simple. You see somebody going the wrong way in

Speaker 1: a highway. This happened to me in real time several

Speaker 1: times in New York City. People going on the off

Speaker 1: ramps right and you're honking the harms that you're going

Speaker 1: the wrong way. Is that the fact that they were

Speaker 1: going the wrong way, or is that was the fact

Speaker 1: and the truth that they were going the wrong way.

Speaker 1: The fact is that they were going the wrong way.

Speaker 1: The truth is that nobody would have told them. They

Speaker 1: would have probably wracked the crash into another car. So

Speaker 1: we need to be correcting our brothers and sisters and

Speaker 1: people when they're going the wrong way. When you go

Speaker 1: place that we shouldn't be. It's just that simple. If

Speaker 1: wrong direction, check me, amen, because you love me, correct me,

Speaker 1: because you love me. Enough of just saying, you know,
