Padres Playoffs Begin, Winter Blend Gasoline Released, Mortgage Rates Rise
The Padres kick off their postseason journey tonight at 7:00 in Game 1 of their best of three Wild Card series against the Chicago Cubs. Governor Newsom has announced that he's releasing the winter blend of gasoline ahead of schedule to try and stem rising prices. The average for a 30-year fixed mortgage rate has hit 7.5%, it's highest rate since April of 2024.
