- 0:00In this episode of Grossman, one of the things that we discussed
- 0:03is, is there this idea that because of Sakana that there's a
- 0:07missile that we just don't do anymore?
- 0:10He wanted to tie now that there is no such thing.
- 0:13And I wanted to say that there could be such a thing.
- 0:16And I didn't look deeply into the topic, but one, one example
- 0:20did come to mind. And I want to just mention that
- 0:22here because he was asking me for examples, if I remember
- 0:24correctly, in the Gemara Inksubas and Dakkuf Yur Ahmed
- 0:29Bays Tosos over there and Devir Maskel, who O moralos, brings up
- 0:34the idea of the mitzvah of eretisrall and why we don't do
- 0:37it. Robinucheim Cohen over there
- 0:40says the reason is because there's so many mitzvah to lose
- 0:42Barretts. And therefore this is we don't
- 0:44do the mitzvah of eretisrall because we're going to do a lot
- 0:47of averas with people to be Ola Deretiserall.
- 0:50It's very problematic. Robinucheim Cohen.
- 0:52This is what is printed in Tosvas.
- 0:53This is an interesting opinion. The first thing that's brought
- 0:57there, I think it could be interpreted very easily as the
- 0:59reason why there's no mitzvah issue.
- 1:01Verity straw was monazan because Aaliyah to Aristotle is very
- 1:05dangerous because of sakana straw.
- 1:06And you can look over there. That would be an example of a
- 1:09precedent of an idea that there are certain mitzvahs that we
- 1:13don't do because of the sakana that's involved.
- 1:16Therefore, if it is indeed a mitzvah to go up to higher bias,
- 1:19but going up to higher bias would cause some sort of sakana
- 1:23so. Maybe that's not the best idea,
- 1:26just an idea to bring out the deal with a particular Mccor.
- 1:30I know that that was addressed and here is a possible Mccor.
- 1:33Enjoy. OK Rabbi Grossman, thank you so
- 1:36much for joining us today on the show.
- 1:38I'm just going to introduce you a little bit to our viewers.
- 1:41So Rabbi Grossman is the director of Total Master Program
- 1:44issue remote and usual AIM and a senior editor of the Science
- 1:47Center Tanakh Publication project.
- 1:49Rabbi Grossman holds ABS in psychology from Queen's College
- 1:53of the City, University of New York and MBA from Jct. the
- 1:57Jerusalem College of Technology in Israel, and a teacher's
- 2:00certificate from the David Yellen Academic College of
- 2:02Education. And usual I am and holds a
- 2:05rabbinic coordination from BNT and from ABBA Brownspiegel as
- 2:09well as, if I'm not mistaken, you also an associate rabbi of
- 2:12Mahone Chilo. Yeah, I get that right.
- 2:15Some of those things are already in the past together.
- 2:17The I guess the resume is is correct.
- 2:20By the way, BMT is not is not a reference to the classic post
- 2:24high school to Shiva BMT, which used to be at the gross coral.
- 2:28It's a base managers that's all but in Queens so.
- 2:31Now I got you. Now I got you.
- 2:32OK, You're back. You're back.
- 2:33You're back. You're.
- 2:33Back. You're good.
- 2:34Yeah. Orlando College, you know, Yeah.
- 2:36Orlando College. OK, OK, OK.
- 2:38Got it. Got it.
- 2:39Yeah. OK, well, one second.
- 2:41Yeah, you're good. You're OK you're fine.
- 2:43I think you're just connections a little bit weak.
- 2:45We can keep going. It's fine.
- 2:46OK. So one of the things that I
- 2:47wanted to discuss, number one, I heard a rumor, which is that you
- 2:50have something from the base of Mcdush in your house.
- 2:53Just #1 is that true that I have to know?
- 2:55Yes, it's true. OK.
- 2:57What can you explain a little bit about that?
- 3:00Yes, I I was actually talking about the system of the my
- 3:03students just last month. Have you been to horror about
- 3:06this before? OK, so this is already a rough
- 3:09discussion I found in the literature.
- 3:12If you go to higher bias rubble from basically the base on
- 3:16English antiquities are still there, especially on the east
- 3:19side. The Jews haven't gotten around
- 3:21to fixing up the place since the destruction of the base on
- 3:24English. I mean, it was it was what
- 3:26happened in the time of in in time of our cocoa when they
- 3:30started building the new edifice.
- 3:32And apparently the floor of the current floor of our bias, part
- 3:35of it dates to them. But there there's still a lot of
- 3:39rubble apparently from mostly the second temple and even some
- 3:43first temple antiquities on horror bias.
- 3:45Now if you look there, there's some actually quite large
- 3:48pieces, some certain marble pillars are still there.
- 3:51Of course, they're lying on their sides.
- 3:52The capitals have all been arranged nicely on the South
- 3:54side adjacent to the AL Aqsa Mosque, but other pieces of fine
- 4:00marble are scattered about the mostly east side of the Temple
- 4:04Mount. And we've probably heard that in
- 4:08the last 20 years. I remember hearing about this in
- 4:1020 years there. The rocks has been busy taking
- 4:13out large quantities and antiquities that they dig out
- 4:16various places of the temple map and just dumping them in the
- 4:18kitchen Valley. People like archaeologists and
- 4:21others have actually been sifting through and finding all
- 4:23sorts of pieces of obvious base of Mactus antiquity.
- 4:27So you can still find pieces of nice marble.
- 4:30Yeah. So how do you know it's from the
- 4:33base of Mactus? Because it's nice marble and
- 4:35it's fragmented. The history books and the Talmud
- 4:38report held Herod made the outer facade of the Second Temple at a
- 4:44very fine marble. And nowadays pieces of that
- 4:47marble are still visible on the Temple Mount.
- 4:49And you can even pick one up sometimes.
- 4:51And if you're, if you're lucky enough not to get accosted by
- 4:54the police, you can actually walk, walk home with it.
- 4:57And that's what we did. Just a little piece of marble
- 5:01from the Temple. Aren't isn't is it on the Temple
- 5:04Mount proper? Aren't you standing on top of
- 5:06meters and meters and meters of of rubble that's been basically
- 5:10patted down and then you have St. level.
- 5:12How do you have that coming up? With the ground that that is the
- 5:14the a lot of the Old City of Jerusalem is like that.
- 5:17Actually, let's say the the New Jerusalem stone pavement of the
- 5:22old cities are relatively new. As a matter of fact, there's
- 5:24certain places they just did in the last few years.
- 5:26You can imagine that in the olden days, they they weren't
- 5:29doing this even in old Yusuf times.
- 5:31And there's times leading up to the founding, the the founding
- 5:34of the state of Israel. They weren't paving the streets
- 5:37of old Jerusalem to Jerusalem stone.
- 5:39So yes, it's true. There's just layers of rubble
- 5:41and just build on top. That's been the the way of the
- 5:43world, at least the way of Israel for the last few thousand
- 5:46years. But there are places on the
- 5:48Temple Mount where indeed they have repaved it with nice
- 5:51Jerusalem stone, some of it as recently in, like, the last five
- 5:55years. But there's still piles of
- 5:56rubble, just pushed aside by bulldozers and things on the
- 6:00east side. So it's still exposed.
- 6:03Yeah. It's actually quite interesting.
- 6:05I remember. Go.
- 6:05There and just pluck something. Yeah, well, have you been there
- 6:08before? No, not on.
- 6:10Oh really been on hard bias? No.
- 6:12Wait, you're Jewish, right? I am Jewish.
- 6:16It's very surprising how a lot of Jews haven't haven't gone
- 6:18there. I think it's a big scam,
- 6:20actually quite successful scam. However, I think the Miller
- 6:23attributes the scam to you haven't been to VAT and those
- 6:26who carried on his legacy to try to convince good firm Jews that
- 6:30they should not be going to the base of Macdosh.
- 6:32So this is there's nothing new in the other slum.
- 6:35There, there, there. But there is no base on macdosh.
- 6:38It's not there anymore. Well, that is true.
- 6:40And you're saying that with a little bit of a smart.
- 6:43But as you know, many of the commandments concerning the base
- 6:47of Mikdash still apply today, and none other than the Rambam,
- 6:50following the Talmud, refers to the base of Mikdash as the base
- 6:54of Mikdash even in its state of destruction.
- 6:57And he says that explicitly in his halafas.
- 6:59He actually said, if you've been following me, I made available
- 7:02online a resource which was started by Rabbi Yitzhak friend,
- 7:06the Brisa Yitzhak, Rabbi Yitzhak friend of Imaniwel.
- 7:10He's one of the leading rabbis on harbais.
- 7:11He's there on a quite regular basis.
- 7:14He's he's quite brilliant. And he points out that in the
- 7:17Talmud, because I'll refer to all of Harabis as the base of
- 7:21Mickdush and and the Rambam follows suit.
- 7:24OK, well, hold on. Let's let's let's take a step
- 7:26back so I can understand. OK, So the base of Mikdash, the
- 7:29fact that it's referred to the Mukama Mikdash is base of
- 7:31Mikdash. That's that's not what I'm just,
- 7:34I was smirking at. And I didn't mean to mean that
- 7:36in a, in a particularly negative way either.
- 7:37It was more confusion. No, no, I was, I was thinking
- 7:40you're doing it. I wouldn't think it is any
- 7:42negative, anything negative about that.
- 7:44I I assume that what we're in the know.
- 7:46What mitzvus? What mitzvus other than maybe
- 7:48Corbin Pesach? I mean what What's what's what's
- 7:51shy that we still have to the Muklomi Mikdash even though the
- 7:54base of Mikdash is not there anymore?
- 7:56What? What are you saying to?
- 7:58If you'd open up the safe rock, you know, if he's very, very
- 8:01good at pointing out what's what's was applying, right,
- 8:04right. That's the safe rocket.
- 8:05Of course he will say at the end of the particular myth, it says
- 8:08this mitzvah applies to men and women.
- 8:10Maybe I've heard them also. And I'll say does not a bias or
- 8:14a little bit fair bias or, you know, depending the the Rambam
- 8:17has a safer walk home where he actually disagrees a lot with
- 8:20the Helix. First of all, in the Helix
- 8:23numbering, you know, the Rambam has a different way of his
- 8:25systemization of the commandments.
- 8:29I say what I say he has a entire entirely different list.
- 8:32But then every reshion works with his self has a list of his
- 8:35own and they disagree on the fine points.
- 8:37But he also points out Obama very, very I don't want to use
- 8:43the I want to spay this property in English.
- 8:45You would say that she was she's very medoctic.
- 8:47OK, he says it very exact. He's very precise in his
- 8:50language. The Robin will tell you what
- 8:52Mrs. actually applied on the base of Mcvitish's standing,
- 8:54which which do not He'll for example, tell you very
- 8:57explicitly the commandments to donate half a shackle of silver
- 9:01towards the public sacrifices on an annual basis does not apply
- 9:06when the temple is not standing. So to to bring the Korean or to
- 9:11bring Masar Shani, the second tie to Jerusalem Edu.
- 9:15However, the sacrificial service still applies even when the
- 9:19temple is not standing. Why?
- 9:21Because you're supposed to rebuild in his back any day of
- 9:24the year you're supposed to and offer sacrifice.
- 9:27And that's why he never had a hover me know that we we would
- 9:30ever go a year without trying to offer Corbin Pestach.
- 9:33He says we bring all the Corbunnels today, even though
- 9:36the temple is not standing. And by the way, apparently
- 9:39history reflects this. Even after the temple was
- 9:41destroyed, there were Jews who came back to Harabias in various
- 9:45times and rebuilt the altar. And they still Kohana, they
- 9:48still a big the kahuna. And they went ahead with these
- 9:52major sacrifices, occasionally public sacrifices.
- 9:54And Corbin Pesoff, when Barkospa took over, it was assumed he he
- 9:59he didn't have a haramiya not to try to rebuild the basmikos.
- 10:02And that's why he and his Jewish followers got to work on
- 10:07rebuilding the base of Mikdush. That is why at various times in
- 10:10history, your history book, Jews always tried to actualize these
- 10:14aspirations whenever they had a chance, try to get a movement to
- 10:17rebuild the base of Mikdush. The modern era, specifically the
- 10:2020th century Luminianom, is perhaps the first time in Jewish
- 10:23history when the Jews were presented with an opportunity
- 10:27moving forward towards, let's say, something sacrificial.
- 10:31And they did not, by and large, take those steps, or at least
- 10:34the official Jewish Power again. I want to go at least for
- 10:37myself. Let's go a little slower.
- 10:38So the scam that you're referring to, that it's a big
- 10:40scam that Jews aren't going to the to the base of Mikdosh.
- 10:43So what, what for what reasons? What were you referring to?
- 10:46Because we need to build it. It's a scam that people aren't
- 10:48going because really, Jews would be.
- 10:50Really. Is that?
- 10:50What you're referring to we're talking about.
- 10:51Yes. We're talking about carbonas,
- 10:53both all of the above. Everything, all the above.
- 10:56The Jews are supposed to build the temple.
- 10:57There's a commandment to offer one lamb in the morning, 1 lamb
- 11:01in the afternoon every single day.
- 11:02If you miss it, our rise mono about Tel Corbeno.
- 11:06But we still cannot shirk this responsibility.
- 11:08We have a a great response. That's the mitzvah.
- 11:11And the mitzvah being on Mitkush always applies.
- 11:13And the Rama says, what if the Mitkush is built?
- 11:16So it means upkeeping the base of Mitkush and improving the
- 11:18base of Mitdush. Once in the spirit of
- 11:20destruction, there's a commandment upon the community
- 11:22to build the base of Mitkush, and we are ignoring that
- 11:24commandment. Yeah, that's going to start one
- 11:27second. One second, so we can split that
- 11:29into two. One is the Binion and Mikdash
- 11:31and then one is bringing carbonos.
- 11:33Can we say that those are two separate things?
- 11:35OK, so what's what's your? Best.
- 11:37But let's so let's just say in terms of Binion and Mikdash, I
- 11:40mean, that's not such an easy discussion because the Fetosis
- 11:43and DMA, you know, they don't believe or it doesn't seem from
- 11:46Riata that that building the base of Mikdash is something
- 11:48that we're going to do with their own two hands, right?
- 11:50And there were many other Vishoni Ashkanov.
- 11:52To. Feel the same?
- 11:53Right. So would you agree to that?
- 11:55OK, so. Then I would agree that such an
- 11:57idea that remember, Bahim has addressed an idea on many
- 12:01occasions and pointed out that it used to be everybody assumed
- 12:04that we'd have to try to build a basin like this eventually.
- 12:06An idea that Rashi floated that Rashi disagreed with when he was
- 12:09talking actual practice. An idea that Rashi floated, that
- 12:12there will be a heavenly basin like this that somehow falls out
- 12:15of the sky already to use, became almost a default position
- 12:19in Judaism because we were so pathetic.
- 12:21I'm not so on the bed way. We were so downtrodden.
- 12:24We had such a long Gullison. Nothing's improving.
- 12:27It must take some supernatural miracle to get things actually
- 12:30going. But many, many of you showed
- 12:32them. Never had such a Hovem, you
- 12:34know? And it's been pointed out by
- 12:35many scholars that it's a mix of the Torah.
- 12:38There's no such thing as God taking away the mitzvah from us
- 12:41and making the fall out of heaven.
- 12:42You don't assume that Would you live in Eswal before out of
- 12:44heaven? Even Messiah is going to fall
- 12:45out of heaven. Would you, would you admit that
- 12:47it seems like, for example, if I remember correctly, Tosos and
- 12:49Suka seems to make it sound like there's not going to be a
- 12:52Binion, there's going to be a nace that's going to come from
- 12:55Shamayim, and that's pretty much it.
- 12:56Do you do you admit that Ulufi's certain Rishoni Ashkenaz they
- 12:59would be saying no one should be waiting for the Bismic this to
- 13:02fall from Shamayim? Or do you disagree with that
- 13:04point? I might, I might disagree.
- 13:06I would say that they, they, they saw something so
- 13:09impossible, it must be that way. But they would not, let's say,
- 13:12ever be opposed to a Jewish national movement in the land of
- 13:16Israel saying, you know what, we have political power, we have
- 13:19the means, we have the money. We are not going to build a base
- 13:23and make this because we are specifically going to wait for
- 13:25it to fall out of display. Such a thing never, never
- 13:27occurred to them. It was similar to the in
- 13:30gathering of the Exiles. It really, how does the
- 13:32gathering of the Exiles take place?
- 13:33How has it taken place? How many times in history the
- 13:37Jews pick themselves up and get there, you know, by by walking
- 13:39or getting on their donkeys or their carriages or airplanes,
- 13:42whatever it might be. If Jews started believing that
- 13:45they would be miraculous on ego's wings, almost literally,
- 13:48and gathering the Exiles, and then they would stay in the
- 13:51exile when time came and they got an airplane or a boat or
- 13:53whatever to take them back, and they say no, now we're going to
- 13:55wait for some sort of miraculous teleportation device or a cloud
- 13:59to take us, then that would be foolish.
- 14:01OK, that that's not what the Tosa, FIS or any of you Shoni
- 14:03Ashkenaz ever. Believed Grossman.
- 14:05I I understand what you're saying.
- 14:07Well, I will note that I do find it somewhat odd that if you
- 14:10learn certain Rishoni Ashkenaz that they don't really mention
- 14:13and and you know, a possibility of opinion.
- 14:15But but I understand your position and and I'm I'm not
- 14:17saying it's wrong at all. It it it just does seem a bit
- 14:20weird, but I'm open to that. I'm I'm open to all of that.
- 14:23I do think push up shot. If you just look through the
- 14:25basic Kumaras it, it does really seem that that the fumiate the
- 14:29push up shadows that we're supposed to be building it with
- 14:30their own two hands. So but I just wanted to kind of
- 14:32parse that a little bit to see where you're going or where you
- 14:35were rather where you are rather.
- 14:36OK, But now the second thing is let's talk about carbonos on the
- 14:39base of Mikdosh. OK, so that that that's a little
- 14:42bit harder for me to swallow as a scam because correct me, I
- 14:45feel like there's a lot of halakhic fear.
- 14:47There's a lot of halakhic fear of the base of Mikdosh and the
- 14:50Malcolm of Mikdosh. How do we know that all the
- 14:52places that we're going are places that are not going to
- 14:56make us be over some sort of is or a transgression about being
- 14:59on higher bias? OK.
- 15:01So you want to talk about where to go on how about us or how how
- 15:05you know is there a lot there? I am not.
- 15:08In order, in order in order to say that there's a scam and that
- 15:11there's something negative occurring and in these in Yan,
- 15:13I'm not, I'm not claiming to be very knowledgeable, but in order
- 15:17to establish such a fact, you have to say that there is
- 15:20something that we know and people are not doing it and that
- 15:22makes it improper, that makes it a scam.
- 15:23So I'm saying what about the US being discouraged because of
- 15:27possibly serum then going up to Harabasi?
- 15:29So certainly. Don't have mitzvah?
- 15:32I I'll begin with a little bit of history because I call this a
- 15:35scam and I've dated it to the first temple times.
- 15:38You you know Tanakh I hope and you know about Raham bin Nazar
- 15:42Jeroboam who became a rival king to the Davidic dynasty.
- 15:47Perhaps he can by by God's own approval.
- 15:52Yeah that's also my focus and to be shown him and perhaps he can
- 15:55cause out how to understand you of his appointment.
- 15:57Was it to be Avadh without you up you can serve legitimate or
- 16:01just was it was he actually reappointing him like he like
- 16:04the way other kings were appointed like anointed or was
- 16:08he just saying statement the fact that you're going to lead
- 16:09to rebellion. But I'm not necessarily in favor
- 16:12of such a thing. OK.
- 16:14I think that the fact that, yeah, she won't even even give
- 16:17him a little bit of an ointment with some parsimony oil, you
- 16:21know, Sherman of parsimony instead of Sherman of Mishra,
- 16:23indicates that he wasn't so legitimate in in that sense or
- 16:27he wasn't meant to be. But that that that's that's not
- 16:29beyond the point here right now. You love him.
- 16:32Certainly his idea in order to maintain political power was to
- 16:37convince his subjects obviously all that they should not be
- 16:41attempting the temple, correct? That was his idea, even though
- 16:45they had a misfit at the time. They're based on the official
- 16:46standing, as a matter of fact. And again, he's been standing
- 16:48for 40 years when he came up with this idea that in order to
- 16:51hold on political on to political power, he is, he was
- 16:54going to both prohibit Ali Orega basically at any time, not even
- 16:58on the holidays, but especially on the holidays, and to create
- 17:02rival places of worship, pilgrimage and sacrifice.
- 17:06That is what he did. And that as a public policy was
- 17:10backed up by pseudo halakhik arguments and endorsements.
- 17:15This is a Gomar and Sanhedrin. There's a lot of Madrash about
- 17:18this. And this is quite a few chapters
- 17:20of our history, Akrotesh. So this is undeniable part of,
- 17:25you know, our, our Jewish history and understanding.
- 17:26I think in the middle, like I said, like to write about this.
- 17:28I was just telling someone he wrote about this himself and
- 17:31pointed out how for a few 100 years this was the policy, the
- 17:35Allahic policy of a Rosh Sanhedrin.
- 17:38And if you have people 200 years later after you love them,
- 17:41saying you're not supposed to go to that based on make this in
- 17:43Jerusalem. You're supposed to instead
- 17:45instead bring your sacrifice to Don or Bethel.
- 17:48Then he would be following established halohic sock much
- 17:53like nowadays we follow halohic sock.
- 17:56I didn't. I don't think you ever think
- 17:57you'd ever appreciate the irony of that because the Ushalmi
- 18:00points out that this is an idea or a tactic used by various
- 18:06authorities. Even during the Second Temple
- 18:08times, there were times when for whatever reason, the Jewish or
- 18:12non Jewish by the Jewish acting as non Jewish authorities
- 18:15prevented Jews from going to the basement.
- 18:18Probably familiar with the Medridge just to bring wood the
- 18:21most basic sacrifice 7 days and even the land it's keeping the
- 18:24fire going on the on the bath right?
- 18:26You have to bring wood for that. How would they smuggle wood to
- 18:29the base to make this? They have enough of wood to burn
- 18:30on the altar. So they brought, Caitlin, gives
- 18:33an example of large wooden ladder.
- 18:35The ladder's good. It has a lot of wood, OK, a lot
- 18:38of different pieces. And they would smuggle ladders,
- 18:40saying to the authorities, we're just going South towards
- 18:43Jerusalem with this ladder because we need to wear a
- 18:45bedstead. And then they'd get to the
- 18:47temple and they'd take apart this plea and they'd use it on
- 18:50the altar. So the fact that political
- 18:53bodies would want to prevent people from going to the base
- 18:55and make this an order to hold on to their pseudo religious and
- 18:59political power is nothing new in history.
- 19:02And that is what the Curry Israeli regime does one. 2nd But
- 19:06I didn't ask anything political. I, I, I, I brought a whole lot
- 19:09of concern. That was my question.
- 19:10So here's here's here's here's here's my point.
- 19:13I'll I'll, I'll get to that whole lot of concern.
- 19:15There are perhaps issues with going certain places in hard
- 19:19bias if the person were to step into the Azara and he's in
- 19:22certain forms of impurity. He is high of curries.
- 19:25That is true. And there are strict biblical
- 19:28and rabbinic prohibitions for various people to go on to
- 19:31various parts of higher bias, which is explicit in the
- 19:33mission. However, it's also clear that
- 19:36you are supposed to go to certain places.
- 19:38It is very clear from elementary study of the sources and the
- 19:42facts on the ground of higher bias that where people, for
- 19:45example, walk today is nowhere near the Azhar.
- 19:48We have a tradition, a positive Jewish tradition, that the
- 19:51Evanasha is that which is underneath the Dome of the Rock.
- 19:55It's also been pointed out that the Dome of the Rock is the
- 19:58highest point on the Temple Mount.
- 19:59It juts above the floor of the central platform, Temple Mount
- 20:03by 5 to few inches. So it's unmistakable.
- 20:07It's always been there. This is our living tradition.
- 20:09Rabbi Wilson, by the way, who is the leading rabbi in horror
- 20:12bias, because he's the one who's there and he's put in all the
- 20:14effort and he's done all the scholarship about this.
- 20:16And I recommend you can speak to him, if you can, has pointed out
- 20:19most recently that they know so much about what's going on
- 20:22there. And he's gotten students to
- 20:24actually view the Dorm of the Rock because they're a part of
- 20:26the security forces who are in charge there, Jewish policemen,
- 20:30riot police, and some soldiers who have been in the Dorm of the
- 20:33Rock and have been taking photographs and measuring these
- 20:35things. So they know to quite a lot of
- 20:37precision which part of the the rock, Under the Dome of the Rock
- 20:41was the part under the holy, under the holy of Holies.
- 20:44And therefore they can precisely find the Mukul Musbah, for
- 20:48example, to a much greater degree of accuracy, let's say
- 20:53Rabbi Rabbi Koran and Rabbi Koran did during their times.
- 20:57OK, So we know that where where these things are.
- 21:00We know where the Azara is. And there's no chance of people
- 21:03getting near the Azara when they would want to stay out of the
- 21:06Azara. That's where the problem area
- 21:07is. Abduraba, you want to know where
- 21:09the Azara is because you have to offer sacrifice there.
- 21:11You have to build a Mesbaoc in the proper part of the Azara.
- 21:14And the fact is that the Mesbach was huge, 32 by 32, obvious at
- 21:18its base. You know how big that is.
- 21:20If you think in feet or you think in meters, that's a large
- 21:22area. Mesbach in the future, did you
- 21:25have odd? If you can't do it could be
- 21:27anywhere as long as it's the minimum size like it wasn't.
- 21:31Maybe we don't know your answers that we know.
- 21:32So in other words. Yeah, 100%.
- 21:35People do know. If I did a deep dive in
- 21:36different the different archaeological opinions over the
- 21:39last 150 years, I'm going to find a tremendous census.
- 21:42You don't even have to do archaeology.
- 21:43You don't have to dig anything up yet.
- 21:44I'm sure if you don't, you get even a better sense.
- 21:46But from just what's there, you can get a very good sense within
- 21:51a few inches of where everything is supposed to be.
- 21:53And they keep the Jews away from those places anyways, so you're
- 21:56not going to be getting trouble going there.
- 21:57Again, again, again in terms in terms of how in terms of using
- 22:00Jewish sources to know where things are, it's difficult
- 22:03because we don't really have a lot of Texas that's talking
- 22:05about higher bias in the way that it is right now.
- 22:07So I'm saying because of the experiences that you're, I think
- 22:11so, I mean, according to the experience.
- 22:14Well, so maybe you can enlighten me, but before that, so then
- 22:16you'll enlighten me in a moment. But in terms of the in terms of
- 22:20the secular sources that are out there that are going to map out
- 22:23higher bias, you're telling me that there's going to be
- 22:25tremendous amount of overlap. There's not going to be a lot of
- 22:28disagreements in terms of the location of different structures
- 22:31that were on higher bias previously.
- 22:32It's going to be easy. I'm not going to find a lot of.
- 22:35Lot of. Discrepancy there.
- 22:38Is this what you're claiming? Yeah.
- 22:41OK. And Hello.
- 22:44Well, OK, so that I mean, that's important.
- 22:46But if that's indeed true, then yeah, I mean, if if we can tell
- 22:49with our own eyes, plus the archaeological evidence of
- 22:51people studying over the last 100 years seems to say the same
- 22:53thing, that's a pretty good indication halachically.
- 22:56I think you say that it's very easy to know that that's that's
- 22:59again interesting to me. I find it that if, if we could
- 23:02really halachically establish with ease where everything is in
- 23:04higher bias, I would imagine that the big ribbonum of this
- 23:07generation and the last generation and the two
- 23:09generations before that would be writing about the relevant areas
- 23:11to go to horror bias and be careful not to go irregardless
- 23:15of the, you know, social political climate.
- 23:19OK, well, I I think they have and I think that people have
- 23:21just not been listening. Are hard enough, you know, You
- 23:23know that's Kayla's right. You'll take a mushroom and a
- 23:25devil doorman, right? You know, you know about the
- 23:28modern gates. Kayla's right.
- 23:30I do. OK, I, I, I actually wanted to
- 23:33show you something over here. Share screen.
- 23:34Have you heard of the adoption curve?
- 23:37No. OK, So if you allow me to share
- 23:40my screen and I could do that actually, normally I can here
- 23:43share screen. Look at this.
- 23:44I'm gonna, I'm gonna share something on my screen, just so
- 23:46you know. OK.
- 23:48Those those were those who are not new to to my stick know what
- 23:51this is. First of all, I I put some here
- 23:54the adoption curve. This is with technology, but
- 23:57this also is with anything in Judaism.
- 23:59We are Ansheh orif we are stubborn.
- 24:02OK, and you heard like the classroom.
- 24:05So for class that Kardashe Asir, no matter orif it's new, must be
- 24:08usser. Now, of course, the problem is
- 24:11we run together that which is new, like Reform Judaism and
- 24:14Bible criticism with let's say Habesh Yamuna Kukadem means
- 24:18let's go back to the make things work.
- 24:20For example, settling the land of Israel.
- 24:22When it came to settling the land of Israel and perhaps even
- 24:24building a Jewish state, let's say 100 years ago, you were
- 24:27still up to the, the innovators, OK, the, the, the minority of
- 24:32people. This is population. the Y of
- 24:34this graph is percent of the population and the X is how fast
- 24:39people are to adopt it. I would actually make this the
- 24:42the other way. The early adopters are here,
- 24:44right? Right at the beginning.
- 24:45These are the innovators, the one who started and then the
- 24:47early adopters. Then we have the early majority,
- 24:48late majority of people catching on.
- 24:50So nowadays if someone would say, you know, I think I should
- 24:53live in Israel, someone going to give you an argument.
- 24:55No, you have to stay in Chris Lawrence.
- 24:57I don't know if anybody seriously would would say that
- 25:00anymore. I don't know if any would.
- 25:01You probably have to find a really extremist Orthodox Jewish
- 25:06educational institution and educators who we tell you no,
- 25:09that that it's forbidden to live in the land of Israel.
- 25:12They'd be the laggards in this case of adopting that.
- 25:15With regards to Kalis, we're somewhere over here.
- 25:18The early majority. It turns out that people really
- 25:22tried hard to find what the chorus was, especially with
- 25:25Herzog, and they found, they found what what could be.
- 25:29They found what could be. It's chorus, and there's a lot
- 25:31of reasons to assume that the Halafa that it is, even if
- 25:35you're not so certain, like Schechter says, you know, it's a
- 25:38mystery. It's it's so blue.
- 25:40And there were those more and more who put it on.
- 25:42And now it turns out that pictures are surfacing that even
- 25:45while they Sternbach and while they haimpinch Scheinberg were
- 25:48actually wearing trailers before they well, well, Scheinberg
- 25:51before they passed away more Stormbach even now.
- 25:53So these things actually catch on and it's just a thing of,
- 25:56well, I don't want to be different.
- 25:57I don't want to be seen as one of those innovators or early
- 25:59adopters. But everybody knows nowadays
- 26:02that's a pretty safe bet to wear tailors, at least the home row,
- 26:05that you should do so too with this whole hard bias issue right
- 26:09there. There is no halachic mechanism
- 26:10that ever prohibited it. You're not going to find a
- 26:12Rambam or a Shilfudar or any Talmudic statement that tells
- 26:16you ever since the destruction of the Temple, you're not
- 26:18allowed to go back to harbais and goblin there.
- 26:20The history indicates that Jews were always there.
- 26:22The bombais about going there because some wrote about going
- 26:24there. We know when in history Jews
- 26:26stopped going wrong because the gentiles imposed it on them.
- 26:29And now Jews are starting to go back and the pendulum is
- 26:32beginning to spraying and we're now in the early adopters phase.
- 26:35And God willing, if we don't move fast enough, we build your,
- 26:38there's some sort of miracle, messianic type of miracle.
- 26:42And maybe in 40 years we'll be in the late majority and more
- 26:44people are going to be going. So if you tell me that no gobble
- 26:48goes there, that's no true spots man's fallacy.
- 26:50I hope you know what that is. But they're arguably who have
- 26:53gone to our bias and have constantly advocated for doing
- 26:56so. The Chief Rabbi himself
- 26:58acknowledges a few years ago that they always discussed it in
- 27:01the within a council. The the Chief Rabbi himself
- 27:04hasn't and his brother, the former chief Rabbi have an
- 27:07opposition that is borderline irrational and more like it
- 27:11doesn't matter. They wrote to rather, you know,
- 27:12I don't care how many holistic proofs are going to bring to me.
- 27:15It still has to be user and so there and stop talking about it.
- 27:18So there are you know, this is something that we assume I, by
- 27:21the way, did not come up with this idea that tester to go to
- 27:24horror bias. I was taught early in yeshiva
- 27:26that it's technically permissible and it's just we
- 27:29don't go there. It's they don't let you go.
- 27:31It's a political thing. But the first chance I got, I
- 27:34went to horror bias because they told me I actually can go.
- 27:37We have a motion dove. A tender has been pointing us
- 27:39out for many years. Let's let's take so your the
- 27:42last. So your answer basically is, is
- 27:44that the reason why Revol Yashev and Revolvaja and Rev Moshe and
- 27:49any other of the gudon that did talk about not going up to
- 27:51Harbias? Rev Moshe actually permitted to
- 27:54go up to Harbias. Do you have OK, that's amazing
- 27:56for our viewers. Do you know where the macor is
- 27:58for that? And if you don't know now, we
- 27:59can add it later. It's, it's Igorous Moshe, but I
- 28:02don't have it on here. The Yeshiva Horror Bias and the
- 28:06various other organizations have been available.
- 28:08I don't know Igorous Moshe, but I have read it and I've seen it.
- 28:10And it was actually written to Robert Tender, who since at
- 28:14least the 1970s regularly visited Horror Bias.
- 28:17And this is? No documentary videos of him.
- 28:19Yeah, no, they're video. Yeah, he.
- 28:20Used to report to his father-in-law about going to
- 28:22horror bias. Why?
- 28:23Because his father-in-law went to him.
- 28:25Of course there's my bad place to go to our bias and I tended
- 28:27was was being quoted in the Jewish press years ago.
- 28:29I'm not going to pull everybody and I'm off.
- 28:31It's for declaring that. It's also, I know that they know
- 28:33it's Butler. You know, it's just what he
- 28:35called a political decision. Now that's not not a nice word.
- 28:38I would explain it as one second public policy.
- 28:40Decision so so you're saying you're saying that you're saying
- 28:42that the the truth is that I'm gonna fire find or the
- 28:45publications from these great ribonum that say that you can't
- 28:48is going to just be politically motivated meaning the halacha
- 28:51that the. Right.
- 28:52I don't say politically motivated, it could be a locally
- 28:55motivated, but politics from as in public policy, policy and
- 28:59politics are of the same show rush, you know, same Latin show
- 29:02rush. If I could use those, then
- 29:04again, because I'll use those, so I'm going to use them.
- 29:06It means that the public let's. Let's use Revivaja for
- 29:09argument's sake. Let's use Revivaja an example.
- 29:11So if I find a publication of Revivaja saying that it's to go
- 29:15into higher bias and he says that no one should go, what he
- 29:18really means is what what is what what he doesn't really mean
- 29:21that he it's not really coming from a halacha place.
- 29:23What are you saying about him? Robert Ravaggio was basically
- 29:27saying confrating 2 things. And by the way, people still do
- 29:30this nowadays. I'm, I'm I'm actually quite
- 29:32scandalized by there's a fellow who writes for the some sort of
- 29:37Jewish newspaper on Long Island. He's he's very obscure about
- 29:40this in this regard. I think his name is Rabbi
- 29:42Hoffman. I've addressed it before for
- 29:44also intentionally obscuring things that Robert Bohema said
- 29:48and it goes like this. It is true that there are places
- 29:51you're now going to our bias, For example, what used to be the
- 29:54Azara. That is completely true to tell
- 29:56people and no one knows where it is.
- 29:58And therefore you have to stay off of all of our bias because
- 30:00you might wander through the Azara is an extreme jump.
- 30:04There might be a homework to tell people at one point, yes,
- 30:06don't go into our bias because by the way, this is I've tried
- 30:09to show you the picture that I told you about before.
- 30:11I'm trying to multitask over here.
- 30:13It's not here. Yeah, I.
- 30:15Understand again, you can you can make such a statement, but
- 30:17that's a very. Yeah, they they are.
- 30:19They are basically saying, they're basically saying don't
- 30:22eat meat as you might be payless or do not marry because you
- 30:25might violate, you know, some sort of is or need of this.
- 30:29By the way, is also curries. They live in curries.
- 30:31It is, it is. So I tell everybody you can't go
- 30:36to buckle and make that the. Dolom are saying that there's a
- 30:38huge conflation that that's what you're saying.
- 30:40Everyone. Yes, a lot of these gudo made a
- 30:41mistake. That's what you're basically
- 30:42claiming. I don't know, not a mistake, no.
- 30:44And I I it better just to instead of telling me what I'm
- 30:47basically saying, I think you just let me say it.
- 30:49I'm saying that I'm. I'm saying it back because I'm
- 30:52trying to understand, meaning I'm happy you're.
- 30:53Telling there's no mistake there, there's no, there's no
- 30:56mistake there. There's there's intentional
- 30:58conflation and then adding of the home row, they said, we know
- 31:03that you can't go, you can't go into the Azara.
- 31:05And they're saying just stay off the horror bias entirely because
- 31:08we're not going to tell you where the Azara is and we're not
- 31:09going to make any effort to know where the Azara is further, and
- 31:13this is the political issue. Yeah.
- 31:15Again, I'm just I'm trying to understand your position, but
- 31:17but they if I'm not mistaken, they don't say that.
- 31:19They say we don't know. 1 does not know.
- 31:22OK, well, so and that's that's where tender comes in.
- 31:26You have to close your eyes or or stick it under the sand,
- 31:29whichever 1 you want to do. I won't.
- 31:31That's what I'm trying to find here.
- 31:32I know that this edition would actually show it.
- 31:34We know we have a Masaka of the Talmud.
- 31:36We have a section of the bomb. I'm dedicated to this very
- 31:39question. And if you know basic math and
- 31:41you start with the pinpoint of where the the number of the rock
- 31:45is and the Mukum Mukum Kodasha Kardashian is, you can very much
- 31:50find to a certain extent where the Azara is.
- 31:55And the Azara was was all almost one elevation.
- 31:58There was an elevated area as the Ezra Kuhanim, and there's
- 32:02the place where the Levine stood and there's a staircase.
- 32:05Those various levels still exist on the Temple Mount.
- 32:08No one's brought a bulldozer. It's a temple now until we level
- 32:11the place. So it's still, it's still there,
- 32:13yeah. When rabona make this claim that
- 32:17we don't know you, you say that it's ignorant.
- 32:19They're they're being ignorant. No, I'm saying they're being
- 32:23obscurantist and I'm not going to say anything more than Rabbi
- 32:26Tender said. It's a, it's a political
- 32:29motivation at the time, by the way.
- 32:31It's actually kind of interesting.
- 32:32I think it was it was by the way, when we say of doing the
- 32:36whole on Shabbos with forbid that's also political.
- 32:38It doesn't mean it's anything bad.
- 32:39It was a a noble idea. Let's say after the six day war,
- 32:43the first two Jews were not used to keep any formal.
- 32:48No, I'm trying to say that the idea of of doing the whole where
- 32:50the rabbi's impose a prohibition on something even though it's
- 32:53not like a malaka or come to do malaka.
- 32:55But for whatever reason, we don't want people doing this on
- 32:57Shabbos. So that's what the a public
- 33:00policy decision. OK, public policy.
- 33:03We passed that. We're talking about, we're
- 33:04talking about our talk about suffocates of their ISIS over
- 33:06here. This isn't.
- 33:08Hold on a second hold on a second Shabbos is Suri skila and
- 33:11they're much worse than anything regarding harbais.
- 33:13OK, And Mr. Skila carries Hari Sanskila.
- 33:16No, no, no. I mean when we when the rabbi's
- 33:18make rules Durham and rules regarding Shabbos.
- 33:21Shabbos needs a major slogan all over the place because Shabbos
- 33:27involves issuing skilo and therefore the sages taking upon
- 33:30themselves. Yeah, so when the sages
- 33:32basically open the hall, they're they're preserving the sanctity
- 33:34of the Shabbos. So too, when they impose rules
- 33:37on the Temple Mount. The point was to keep people
- 33:40away from desperating the. Temple Mount parallel to me is
- 33:42not the same because if you're going to say that the that we
- 33:45aren't going to go on the Temple Mount because why?
- 33:46Because our Suffolk Isodarisis. That seems like a far cry away
- 33:49from what would be a parallel to Udun Duhuo, which is generating
- 33:52an Isadarabanan for. No, by no point.
- 33:55My whole point was that Ogden the Hole is an example of rabbis
- 33:59making public policy decisions. That's all.
- 34:02Ogden the Hole is a public policy decision.
- 34:04So we should not be surprised that public policy decisions are
- 34:07made. That's that's the limit of what
- 34:08I'm saying. So.
- 34:09So you, OK, so you're saying that a rebel say it's a Suffolk
- 34:12der Isa, not because they're really mussupic per SE, but
- 34:15rather because it's a political, it's a policy that they're that
- 34:18they're trying to uphold. And, and I like to explain this,
- 34:21what happened was what happened was, and there are many stories
- 34:24about this. I know people did this after the
- 34:26Six Day War. Well meaning Jews would walk
- 34:28right into the dorm of the rock the first few months after 60
- 34:31war, Jews were walking to dorm of the rock, which is horrible.
- 34:34OK, it is such a terrible issue. And by the way, there's still
- 34:37going walking around there. All that's that's also very
- 34:39terrible. However, we have to do
- 34:42something. So the ball, Dover Dorma, they
- 34:44told everybody, you know what this is?
- 34:46Let's say well, to you who to cook and his and his Trevor,
- 34:50they said don't go to Harabas. Now we have to put things in
- 34:53order. We have to get everybody knowing
- 34:55Harabas what to do. We'll set straight.
- 34:57I say this is a muscle to, let's say young fellows of yeshiva.
- 35:02You want them to have proper marriages.
- 35:05You want to teach them how to do this right.
- 35:07But you also have to tell them when you're 18, don't run around
- 35:10with other young women and do whatever you want.
- 35:12You have to put a limit on them. And so, you know, there's
- 35:15certain rules. There's Medea, there's Medea,
- 35:17there's, you know, finding a proper shit up.
- 35:19There's a lot to tell a young man, especially one who is a
- 35:23hormonal. So eventually you tell them we
- 35:25are going to do this right. We're going to educate you and
- 35:27we're going to make batches and everybody will have shown my
- 35:30swell eventually. But instead they didn't do that.
- 35:32Instead, we're telling these young men be celibate and never
- 35:36know, go near women of the female persuasion for the rest
- 35:39of your lives. And maybe 100 years from now,
- 35:41you know a shit of the fraud of the sky.
- 35:43And at this point, you'll be conversant in the laws of Medo.
- 35:48That's ridiculous. Instead, you have to try to
- 35:50educate people. And this mistake, this
- 35:52phenomenal historical mistake is only now being corrected by
- 35:55trying to teach people here in the Hubble house.
- 35:58Here's how you go to mikvah. Here's where you cannot go.
- 36:00Here's why you cannot go. Here's where you can go in
- 36:03certain, certain circumstances. Here's where you can go if you
- 36:05wish to actually perform the avoda.
- 36:08We have to educate ourselves. So I can understand why you
- 36:10needed a moratorium and a stop point, but to just say 50 years
- 36:14on, 60 years on, no horror bias, we're not really all well,
- 36:18close. We're closing shop.
- 36:19We're never going to tell people they can go there.
- 36:20It's still forbidden, is not what the tour wanted, and it's
- 36:23actually disrupted Tommy's role. If, if you're, if you're
- 36:26correct, why couldn't the ghazal just be more honest and just say
- 36:28there's a, there's a significant danger because people are going
- 36:30right on to, you know, you know, Kalash Kardashians.
- 36:34And at least the Azaro. Really.
- 36:36Yeah. OK, so let's let's make let's
- 36:38make very clear lines. I was not there, I was not there
- 36:43and I only actually became. Aware of these things, it.
- 36:45Doesn't seem it doesn't seem strange to you that that.
- 36:49That seems very strange to me, but but luckily I was given I
- 36:53was able to run and toe it from people, Rabonim who were of the
- 36:57tradition and always said you have to go to horror bias, you
- 36:59have to go to horror bias, you have to go to horror bias.
- 37:01Rabbi Tender with we have only met a few times before we passed
- 37:05on, but from whom I learned a lot because I was able to read
- 37:08what he said and also listen to what he said said this.
- 37:12I heard from Robert Rabovich this quite a few times from
- 37:16rabbit Surio and of course Rabbit Varhim.
- 37:17Thank God he's still with us. He comes from the base matters,
- 37:21which has said all along that you're supposed to go to horror
- 37:24bias and you never were not supposed to go.
- 37:27And here's how you do it. And you have to spread the word.
- 37:30Now, if I'm one of those spreaders, then I I consider
- 37:33myself fortunate that, for example, people like yourselves
- 37:36and others come to me and say, is it really true that you go to
- 37:39horror bias? And the answer is yes.
- 37:41You cannot study, let's say, Talmud.
- 37:42Don't be shown without coming to this unmistakable conclusion.
- 37:45And if you ask me why they gotten to this point, I don't
- 37:47know. It's the story of my life.
- 37:48Everything I've been studying is tell people, Oh, you know that
- 37:50the last letter of the alphabet sounds like the English letter.
- 37:53Well, there's not an English letter equivalent, but it sounds
- 37:55like the way you and I say 3 and both a month.
- 37:58When I say 3 both a month, you don't French and if I say with
- 38:00you don't French. But if I tell you that sound
- 38:02existent Hebrew, people don't restore me for such a thing.
- 38:05I've been persecuting the Shiva by Russia, the Shiva pulpit
- 38:08rabbis, friends, usually how much how much how much you get
- 38:11for just saying, you know, I discovered something about the
- 38:13Hebrew language about the olive days and they they they're nuts
- 38:16about it. So if you tell people and by the
- 38:18way, that what you thought was strictly forbidden is turns out
- 38:21it's muther and here the rabbis who say it, they'll they'll you
- 38:25know, they'll wimp you with the biggest performers.
- 38:27What are you supposed to do? It's the truth, the truth, the
- 38:31truth roots for no man. What's the exact expression
- 38:33there? I I wish you you should speak to
- 38:36Robert Bachim about this. And I wish we have two of us
- 38:38still with us today. Or Robert Vinovich was still
- 38:41with us for many years. He was taking the students power
- 38:43bias. You know about Robert Vinovich,
- 38:45right? Yeah, look, look, I'm I'm yeah
- 38:48fairly open. I'm I'm all I'm seeing and and I
- 38:51find confusing. I'm not claiming to be a Bucky
- 38:53is that there is a a tremendous amount of information of of
- 38:58pretty much 90% of Gadolam writing very strongly against
- 39:04going. Please don't use the statistics.
- 39:06I don't think, I don't think, I don't think you actually took a
- 39:09lot. You know, you counted it.
- 39:10You defined who you do them all and then counted them.
- 39:12So you could say, well, I think it's already even.
- 39:15Even then I would don't have it here.
- 39:17In my experience, I've seen a large a person can can use
- 39:21whatever statistic that they find.
- 39:23That they do. The research themselves of
- 39:25verbatim that I would be very fearful of saying that not to do
- 39:29it and bringing halafic background.
- 39:31So all I'm doing is that it's not accusatory all.
- 39:34I'm doing is just asking. You what your feeling is about
- 39:36that, and I understand what you're saying.
- 39:38Your response is, is that what they're saying is motivated, not
- 39:41just purely halafic, but there's something else that is going on.
- 39:44Perhaps it's for the safety of Klystrel because they're, a lot
- 39:47of them are making a lot of mistakes and higher bias.
- 39:49Or perhaps there's another impetus and because of that
- 39:52they're saying things that are Suffolk that maybe would be a
- 39:54Suffolk to be on, but they themselves were probably very
- 39:57aware of of where things started and stopped.
- 40:00So that's your stance. I'm just trying to figure out
- 40:02your stance. Did I get that right?
- 40:03Well, here's what I would do. A few, maybe it's almost a year
- 40:07ago, at least a few months ago. There's a teller who said that
- 40:10Si Tellyezer learn quite a lot about this and did not allow
- 40:13going to Harvey's. Can you address what he said?
- 40:16Why are you not doing like the Si tellyezer?
- 40:18So you're familiar with his, with his chuvos there?
- 40:21So we got out the chuvos and we went through it line by line to
- 40:25understand what the Ti Tellyezer was saying.
- 40:27If you tell me a lot, you mentioned whether yes, you
- 40:31mentioned whether that you're safe.
- 40:32Let us look at each particular opinion individually and see
- 40:36exactly what's so there and find the points that we can rebut the
- 40:40first to address and rebut. So now I I put out a video and
- 40:46you're welcome to see it in the sources there.
- 40:48We went through the sea tail desert and the points there and
- 40:51show that the sea tail desert's own assumptions do not fit the
- 40:54reality and other parts I'll say aside from not fitting reality,
- 40:58transactional or have been disproven by the facts on the
- 41:02ground, I believe. And also if the CCA lizard were
- 41:04to be allowed to go to hard bias, which perhaps you should
- 41:06have in order to discover the truth of this thing, he would
- 41:09have not have written what he wrote.
- 41:11But then again, he's not here right now and we can't, we can't
- 41:14go any further than that. But if he wants to address any
- 41:16particular opinion that's in writing or the statements
- 41:19exactly that's going to do that, I think that might be worthy.
- 41:22We might not have time to think that that's.
- 41:24Obviously, no that unfortunate enough time right now, but maybe
- 41:27we can in the future. But that's obviously if you've
- 41:29done that in a video, you know, or if you have some textual
- 41:32stuff, be more than happy to add it to to the description here so
- 41:35that people can have a look for themselves.
- 41:37I think that's an excellent, excellent idea.
- 41:39Excellent idea. Are you familiar with our
- 41:41YouTube channel? The Rabbit Barkins put together
- 41:44a very on YouTube. Yeah, a YouTube channel on
- 41:47YouTube. I guess that's what we've done.
- 41:48That makes sense. Mahon Shiloh.
- 41:51Most important is the platform for Rabbit Barkins Shiram and
- 41:54his public statements. But he's also has quite a few
- 41:58other good content producers there.
- 42:02For example, at least up until the last year, Jonathan
- 42:05Pollard's main mouthpiece was that.
- 42:08So to Doctor Jeremy England, who's a genius, and Rabbi Shamai
- 42:13Siskin. I think I'm the only person
- 42:15who's material appears on that website who does not have a
- 42:18Wikipedia page. It means I'm not famous, but
- 42:21it's there and it's quite good. So check it out.
- 42:24And I'm looking right now for where we go through the
- 42:26Titsiliyezer's opinions. I mean, I just try to find the
- 42:30way. No, you can you can send it
- 42:31later and we'll we'll add it to the description.
- 42:33This probably isn't going to OK for we have other episodes to
- 42:36this for no 3-4 weeks. OK, I I see that there are three
- 42:38videos right here. It's almost, just about 2 1/2
- 42:42hours of content almost addressing the Titsiliyezer on
- 42:45the inside, just as an example. And he also have other hands
- 42:48addressing that they've obviously from his children's
- 42:50opinions on this matter. So yeah, you can find it and
- 42:53you're happy. That's.
- 42:55That's yeah. Again, I'm not claiming to be to
- 42:57know all of these be in this is technically not my hell I'll
- 42:59hook Forte personally, but I'm happy to know what your opinion
- 43:03is. OK, so let me then move on to
- 43:05because you, we split it up so far into two sections, which is
- 43:08building the base image and performing certain methods and
- 43:11higher bias. And you've discussed how you
- 43:13feel about the possible transgressions and that in your
- 43:16opinion there wouldn't be any because things are clear.
- 43:18So let's talk about maybe another reason would be
- 43:20politically motivated, which he mentioned a few times.
- 43:22So then you invoke you, you haven't been invoked.
- 43:24So let's, let's let's talk about that for a moment, OK?
- 43:27If I'm not mistaken, you work in yeshiva, Yes?
- 43:30Well, currently, no, I'm, I'm, I'm now independent researcher.
- 43:33I I really should get back to yeshiva, but then I have less
- 43:37time to learn. So it's, it's a little bit of a
- 43:38conflict. Yeah, I guess we'll talk about
- 43:40that afterwards. Yeah.
- 43:43If you if let's say you, you had your own yeshiva now, OK, and
- 43:47you were given an option, OK, you can continue learning in
- 43:50your yeshiva, OK, Or you could move.
- 43:54But if you stay where you are, then one of your Tommy numbers
- 43:57going to have to be killed. Would you stay in that location
- 43:59or would you move it? Has to be killed when you like
- 44:02that. That's a really strange it.
- 44:05Is a strange question, but let's answer it.
- 44:08I, I would, I would, I would stay put and I would do my best
- 44:12to physically defend my student. That's why I'm on little time to
- 44:15defend myself and others. So I don't think I would.
- 44:17I would, I would agree to that. But that's but that's not that,
- 44:19that that wasn't part of the question.
- 44:21You have to sacrifice one of one of the students.
- 44:23That's that's how that's how it works.
- 44:25I don't know, I I I I would take a hypothetical question in the
- 44:28piece that could actually happen in real life, but I don't know
- 44:30if such a thing happening there whereby we'd have to do it.
- 44:33You know, like the the the Obama says Indoke nephesh nephesh.
- 44:37It's sometimes happened that let's say the anti semites, you
- 44:40know, come and say give us one of you.
- 44:42I I would not give over someone to to die.
- 44:44You're telling me you only have to give Lord that he would just
- 44:46magically die that they would they would come in and shoot
- 44:48someone randomly. Is that is that the case?
- 44:52So, so I'd have to move the yeshiva or no, if I knew that
- 44:56case is once again, like I discussed this, this type of
- 44:59question with Rob Bahini said apparently what Cook would say.
- 45:02So you have to fight back. There is there is there is the
- 45:06third option. The third option is or you just
- 45:08move. I'm not moving.
- 45:11But why do I have to move? That doesn't make any sense.
- 45:14Because you because you don't want anyone to die.
- 45:16OK, well, I I guess that's a hypothetical.
- 45:19And then you give me two options.
- 45:21So, you know, I don't know if I, I'll ask you a hypothetical
- 45:24question. That's ridiculous.
- 45:26If someone said your wife or your daughter, what would you
- 45:28do? It'd be difficult I thought of
- 45:31such a question. It'd be difficult.
- 45:32Probably choose my. OK, so it's a silly question.
- 45:35I don't think it's. A I think to philosophize is
- 45:41very important. It's.
- 45:44Philosophy. Philosophize.
- 45:46I would say if it's a philosophy question, metaphysical power
- 45:50would cause more of the students to die.
- 45:52OK, that's that's how I would, I would phrase it.
- 45:54If you're asking me if I knew that keeping the yeshiva here or
- 45:57staying put would cause one of the students to die somehow
- 46:00beyond, you know, some supernatural means, then we
- 46:03could talk about it. Then that's a you know, then
- 46:06they take you out a philosophy if.
- 46:07That's if that's easier, if that's easier for you, we can
- 46:09start there. Let let's say that that you had
- 46:11such knowledge, did you? Did you stay put or would you
- 46:14move? So it, it actually, it still
- 46:17depends on things, you know, like where, where am I going and
- 46:19why is it that I know? How is it that I have such
- 46:21knowledge that by staying put, I, I'm bringing this students in
- 46:26danger? Navi says, OK, now you're
- 46:30bringing up, now you're bringing up a different type of mechanism
- 46:32in the halacha. Navi says, stay put and one of
- 46:35your students will die. So I would move because Navi's
- 46:39basically telling me about this. So there's part of me so much,
- 46:41I'm involved in all this. But he didn't, he didn't say.
- 46:45I see. He just said.
- 46:46He just said you should be aware that if you stay, one of your
- 46:48students will die. I.
- 46:50Don't know. Maybe it depends on how
- 46:53important it is to stay. It's an area to swell.
- 46:55Maybe, you know, there's a, there's this concept where
- 46:57people forget and the kindness mitzvah means that people have
- 47:00to endanger themselves and perhaps even die for the sake of
- 47:03staying in order to swell. People forget that point, you
- 47:06know, but that's a, that's a, that's a clear halal
- 47:08comparative. You know you, you have to go to
- 47:10war knowing that someone will die.
- 47:13Yeah, well, I think the Halaha comparative may be predicated on
- 47:16the fact that having a nation and having secure borders is
- 47:20what gives security for its inhabitants, meaning maybe you.
- 47:24Yeah. So it's keeping the total.
- 47:26Well, yeah. So it's winning the total.
- 47:28Learning the Torah is important, but I'm not sure it's as
- 47:30important as living. In other words, you need to be
- 47:32living in order to keep the Torah.
- 47:33That's that's generally how that works.
- 47:35Yeah, yeah. But you say, you bring up a
- 47:38strange case, a strange case of which I cannot find an analogy
- 47:42in real life. You know, halacha does as well.
- 47:44We talk theoretics, we talk about, you know, things that are
- 47:47practical. And I don't see this as unless
- 47:50you're going to give me the surprise soon, tell me what this
- 47:52is. It's.
- 47:53Obvious, it's obvious. It's obvious where I'm going.
- 47:56I'm trying to, it's obvious where I'm going.
- 47:58I'm trying to figure out though. However, on a more purely
- 48:01mechanical philosophical level of where you are.
- 48:03So I'd make it. I could make the variable
- 48:05somewhat ridiculous, but they're very straightforward.
- 48:08I mean, it would be like if you would answer the question and
- 48:10saying, if Elio Novi told me that the Shiva that my Shiva
- 48:14will continue in either place, but my Talmud would die if I
- 48:17stayed in place, say, then I would move, then I would say,
- 48:19OK, so, so it seems that Lyma Datura OK, is really important
- 48:23to you, But you know, you're the place of your yeshiva is not as
- 48:26important as the, the life of that person.
- 48:28And then I would, I would move on and obvious, if you want, we
- 48:31can jump, we can jump rungs over here.
- 48:33But I think it's, it is important to start at the bottom
- 48:36because it makes things clear on the top.
- 48:37But let's jump to the top and see if things remain clear.
- 48:40I don't see the gain of pushing a, a presence on higher bias at
- 48:44this point seeing that. But Der Khatava, there's no way
- 48:48that we're going to be building anything there soon.
- 48:50And all that we're doing is we're angering the nations and
- 48:53and probably stocking the files. That were.
- 48:56So you must, you must have said that on purpose.
- 48:59I, I think that it's, it's almost a joke, or at least the
- 49:02refuge of, of Alafic scoundrels to say, let us not do something
- 49:06that will upset the, the Dian. You should know such is not
- 49:09Alafic concept and also gives the Dian veto power over
- 49:11anything. They're Jews, by the way.
- 49:13It's entirely projection. The Jews say let us not do X
- 49:17because that'll upset the glam and who knows, maybe they'll
- 49:20start massacring us. So they'll create, you know,
- 49:22anti-Semitic movements. You know that there's no such
- 49:24thing in in in hollow history. If the glam you could say, by
- 49:27the way, some glamour upset the fact that you're wearing Yamaha
- 49:30and sits this way now, and maybe you should stop doing that,
- 49:32correct, or that you're learning total.
- 49:34You should stop doing that or living like strong.
- 49:38No, there's that's not, that's not correct.
- 49:39There's a difference between Shashma, SHMA.
- 49:41If you want to talk about SHMA, then yeah, it is.
- 49:44It's a lot more clear cut that you pretty pretty much do the
- 49:46thing and and you die with it. But I'm not sure this is a
- 49:49hashash of Schmad. I don't think that would you
- 49:51send your I don't know. No, I think I think that's it.
- 49:56That's a huge job. But why is there a why is that a
- 49:59misunderstanding? I don't see Rabunnam saying
- 50:01well, you see, getting a pair of filling would would be really
- 50:05dangerous for people for whatever reasons.
- 50:07Therefore, once you get filling, even though that it's possible
- 50:09that they may die. I, I can't think of I, I I don't
- 50:11think that's you think that's true.
- 50:13I I don't think that that whatever you said is, is, is is
- 50:16logical in any way. Yes, Sir.
- 50:30Yeah. OK.
- 50:41I don't see what, what what's the point?
- 50:43Because I, because I realize that there's a person who has to
- 50:45deal with the women authorities and he has to wear shoes.
- 50:48So he doesn't want to when he, he's violating A rabbinic
- 50:52prohibition of EUI Arnold Kipper in order to, I guess, make nice,
- 50:57nice with the Romans. And therefore we should stay off
- 51:00the power of bias. What's this?
- 51:01What's this? What's this halachic?
- 51:02One second. What's this halachic?
- 51:03What is this halachic? Nice, nice.
- 51:05As you say it. I thought that such a concept
- 51:07didn't exist a moment ago. Why are we finding?
- 51:09It well, here's here's a ghost. So the answer was in the old
- 51:12days, I think I'll have to tell you about Jewish history.
- 51:15The Romans were the rulers of Art Spell, and they're quite
- 51:18cruel. And they eventually even had in
- 51:20their power to destroy the base of Makdush, that they could have
- 51:23destroyed the base of Makdush. So Kazal even said, you know,
- 51:27the classic robbers of higher than North Krulus.
- 51:29They said perhaps we should even offer a sacrifice of that which
- 51:32is invalid in order not to provoke the Romans into
- 51:36destroying the base of Makdush, Correct.
- 51:39Right. I mean, I think, I think the
- 51:40fear there was that everyone would die.
- 51:42I think it's a little bit more than this, so.
- 51:43If, if, Yeah, yeah, yeah. So the destruction would be
- 51:46something that means everybody in Jerusalem is going to die
- 51:48also. That's what that's what
- 51:49basically rules all to do. If let's say Trump or Putin had
- 51:53the base of Mikdash in his sights and was threatening to
- 51:55destroy the base of Mikdash unless I did someone one of our
- 52:00one of our big shots were to go in front of him and violate and
- 52:03Kip or even offer improper sacrifice and that's what
- 52:07they're threatening, perhaps that should be the right
- 52:09decision. If you have as a hardly been of
- 52:10who was comps of Arkansa incident happening in front of
- 52:13us, then yes, we should consider that.
- 52:14But right now, there is no Roman emperor threatening to destroy
- 52:18the base of make flesh if we do not violate a certain
- 52:21commandment or or implied violation.
- 52:23I don't see that happening right now.
- 52:24Right now we're dealing with the case whereby the Jews are
- 52:27staying away from the base of just because They are imagining
- 52:30all sorts of things. They're imagining that somehow
- 52:32walking around on horror, bias or offering sacrifice will get
- 52:35this, make the Muslim world. Once you destroy them, well, I
- 52:38have news for you. They only want to destroy you
- 52:40and they're already trying to destroy you.
- 52:42And you're very present. And Israel is what's upsetting.
- 52:45Them you don't think it's going to make them make take more
- 52:47drastic measures, immediate measures.
- 52:48To I don't think I, I think, I think it's ridiculous to think
- 52:51that there's nothing more that drastic than what the Iranians
- 52:54are trying to do. They basically declared war on
- 52:56us a few years ago. They've used everything in their
- 52:58power. You live in Jerusalem, right?
- 53:00You remember the missile attacks, you remember
- 53:03everything. They, they let her out and
- 53:05apparently I, I don't know if I could trust the Prime Minister
- 53:08entirely. I'll finish this one.
- 53:10The Prime Minister was saying that they were, they were trying
- 53:12to create nuclear weapons to destroy us and we have to
- 53:14destroy them. But the people of Gaza have
- 53:16waged war against us and they I'm very.
- 53:19Aware, Rabbi Grossman, I'm very aware that the Iranians want to
- 53:21kill us. I think that if we were to, in a
- 53:24very big way, do anything on hire a bias, then there would be
- 53:26a lot more than the Iranians. They used to say they were
- 53:29saying all sorts of things like it's going to be in the world
- 53:31that hopefully with the embassy, remember that that was a joke.
- 53:34You move the embassy to Jerusalem, it's going to create
- 53:36World War Three and this is going to create World War Three.
- 53:38We're just letting them do that. We're we're asking for that.
- 53:41I think that's a silly. Thing.
- 53:42Divorce from reality, you really don't think there'd be a more
- 53:44immediate violent response if we did anything on hire a bias that
- 53:48was significant is that? Of course not.
- 53:51I am claiming that I think that it's.
- 53:54To think otherwise is silly. Why?
- 53:56Because you know they want to kill you?
- 53:58Because I heard this joke quite a few times here once a week
- 54:00from from wise people who that have come in contact with the
- 54:04whole Sheila content. They say it's the classic joke
- 54:06about the Jews that you take it they're about to be killed by
- 54:09the firing squad about in the grom.
- 54:11They're standing outside the guest chamber in Auschwitz or at
- 54:14the edge of the pit and Bobby are about to be executed and one
- 54:17Jew says hey, wait a minute. Maybe you should something
- 54:20everyone says be quiet. No one make these worse.
- 54:22The guardian do not never need an excuse.
- 54:24But that's why I said this is a non Talmudic idea.
- 54:26This is actually a Jewish, I guess, a stubborn Jewish facet
- 54:30of our inherited culture. The Sages wanted us to keep the
- 54:34Torah. OK.
- 54:35And we're supposed to keep the Torah and the guys do not going
- 54:37to veto on us keeping the Torah. And they can't tell us, you know
- 54:40what? If you start doing this, we're
- 54:42going to be upsetting and we're never going to massacre you.
- 54:44I actually put out a nice video about this about two years ago
- 54:47addressing the Aguda and Rabbi Avi Shafran about this.
- 54:50Instead of me saying it again, I'll just, I'll send you the
- 54:53link. But it's kind of silly that you
- 54:55told Jews don't keep the Torah so that you don't upset the Jew
- 55:00God's wrath. And it turns out it's actually
- 55:02the opposite. You're supposed to keep the
- 55:04Torah, and that's how you protect yourself from the day, I
- 55:06think. I think it's a fair argument to
- 55:08say that the Torah is saying I'll speak to our nefesh, not to
- 55:10go up on horror bias might be a violation of the Torah for that
- 55:12reason to be going it could be that.
- 55:14That's that's, that's quite novel.
- 55:15You were telling me about it. I don't think it's so novel to
- 55:21say that when there's bodily harm that will be applied to
- 55:25almost all Jews. Because of a.
- 55:27Particular action and horror bias that therefore we shouldn't
- 55:30go up. I don't think that's if that's a
- 55:31novel. You never thought of this
- 55:33before. You don't.
- 55:34Think I've thought of this before, but I've heard, I've
- 55:37heard this in many ways. You know, they said the same
- 55:38thing about living arts. Well, but you live in Jerusalem.
- 55:40I think you live in Jerusalem. It looks like you are in
- 55:42Jerusalem now, right? I mean, you're sure I am.
- 55:44You know, you know how many Guardian have made war to try to
- 55:47destroy? They have destroyed us.
- 55:48The Guardian have said you're you're you're like saving the
- 55:50XI, said Mitzka X. Yeah.
- 55:53As I mentioned before, I think that this the national security
- 55:56of Eric is really important for the security of every single
- 55:59Jew. I really firmly believe that I
- 56:01final. Thing I'm looking over at I'm
- 56:05looking over at telsey on right now do you know how many people
- 56:07told us living in telsey on is the problem that's endangering
- 56:10on this world living in telsey on is endangering on this world
- 56:13I know you didn't say that but that's what they say I know you
- 56:16didn't make that claim but that's.
- 56:17That's nice for them, Yeah, the. Claim the claim.
- 56:21I usually, I usually don't make claims here, but the claim I am
- 56:24making is that I would think that if a person goes on to hire
- 56:27a bias and does anything intense, what that's going to do
- 56:31is it really will incur the wrath of the gang, which will
- 56:33hurt people. And I'm not sure that that's the
- 56:35best thing. Hey, watch this.
- 56:37Look at this percentage, OK? We will incur the wrath of
- 56:41nations. I'll, I'll can I write it that
- 56:43way? Look, let me let me share the
- 56:44screen with you. OK, OK, so then how we will
- 56:47incur the wrath of the nations and therefore there will be
- 56:49bodily harm to Jews? OK, so look at this.
- 56:54Look here, here, here, here's here's the fallacy.
- 56:56That's what I like dealing with with instead of the particular
- 57:00cases, just the general idea. Do you see it here?
- 57:03OK, look, look over here. I wrote over here in my browser
- 57:06because I don't have anything else to type it out.
- 57:08You wrote if you do mitzvah and I put play, you'll incur the the
- 57:12wrath of the nation right now. You, you said you, you put the
- 57:17mist over here. Yeah.
- 57:21Bodily harm, all, all that stuff.
- 57:22Yeah. Mm.
- 57:23Hmm. Oh, that's good.
- 57:24Mm, Hmm. Yeah, mm.
- 57:28Hmm. Going up to higher bias Which,
- 57:30which, which? Which as far as I'm away as far
- 57:32which, by the way, as far as I'm aware, is not a mitzvah.
- 57:35But yeah. OK, well I'm trying to tell you
- 57:37it is and I could, I could use the source, but like I said,
- 57:39we've already I I'm coming from am I saying?
- 57:42It is. Am I saying it is?
- 57:43I just I'm not sure that it is but but let's say it is.
- 57:45OK, so, yeah, I can't do this in a real office.
- 57:48We just met. So, you know, now over here, I
- 57:52wrote this, Mr. Pony, did you know, and I'm trying to explain
- 57:55this point. You put in something this you
- 57:58put in what you what you wanted to in the sentence and you think
- 58:01that this is a good argument. I'm trying to say though, that
- 58:04is we could highlight the point I put in wearing scissors
- 58:08keeping kosher Brasila Shab is settling when you you pick it,
- 58:12you know, there's there's a whole toilet full of mitzvahs
- 58:14you could do where I could put in the mitzvah and I could show
- 58:17you examples historically and even today where we incur the I
- 58:20think people. Should not then I think people
- 58:23should not wear sets. People should not wear 4 corner
- 58:24garments. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 58:26People should not wear 4 corner. Garments and that's what I'm
- 58:28saying. And the problem with this
- 58:30argument. Therefore, the problem with this
- 58:31argument, I know they teach us in law school also, but this is
- 58:35saying that I'm never discussing graft cereal.
- 58:37This argument proves too much. It basically gives the nations,
- 58:42it gives itself a veto on keeping the Torah.
- 58:46They say this about Torah study by the way also OK, if you do
- 58:50Torah study in the old history, you know we will incur the wrath
- 58:52of nations to be corrupt method. Therefore we should not spend
- 58:54the Torah or if we reproduce, we will incur the wrath of the
- 58:59Egyptians and therefore we should not reproduce.
- 59:01This was a Mahogas and his daughter.
- 59:03I believe it's mentioned the Neblish.
- 59:05Therefore, this idea is nonsense because it leads, it proves too
- 59:09much and it leads to insert conclusion.
- 59:11So whether you put temple mounts here, Hoda sakabanos, etcetera,
- 59:16since it's whatever bits we put in here, it it doesn't matter
- 59:19because this argument is too strong, has been disproven by
- 59:22our sages and well, whatever. There you go.
- 59:25I think that I think that that settles it.
- 59:27You see that, right? No, I don't.
- 59:29I, I think that I, I, I don't, I don't see, I don't see, I don't
- 59:32see Khazal disagreeing with let's say mitzvah sis versus not
- 59:36a mitzvah. If you're not.
- 59:38Wearing adult canvas. If it's if it's shot, by the
- 59:41way, the point of shots of schmat is that even for the
- 59:44little bits, if they would say if there's a schmat going on, if
- 59:47they're schmatting and they say you're supposed to wear
- 59:50mitzitzis. That's right if it's.
- 59:52Supposed to, right? It's.
- 59:53Schmad. If it's schmad.
- 59:55If it's schmad, then it's something else.
- 59:56I don't think it's schmad. I don't think they don't want us
- 59:58to be from. I think they want.
- 59:59Us. No.
- 59:59That's what Schmad is called the Homer.
- 1:00:01Schmad is called the Homer. No, no, no, no, no.
- 1:00:04It's, no, it's not Schmad. No, it is Schmad is No, Schmad
- 1:00:07is trying to destroy your religiosity.
- 1:00:09That's what Schmad is. They're not trying to destroy
- 1:00:11our religiosity. They're trying to destroy our
- 1:00:13bodies, which is pretty bad. But it's not as valuable as our
- 1:00:17religiosity. It's not as valuable.
- 1:00:19Yeah, I'm trying. No, I said.
- 1:00:20It's called the Homer that we cannot give the gallium this,
- 1:00:23this veto by saying any, any this no, the the by being by
- 1:00:31call the Homer, I'm saying that it doesn't matter which misfile
- 1:00:34you put into here. Sometimes you have to do the
- 1:00:37mitzvah. In other cases, the whole the
- 1:00:40call is, is we, we choose to do it.
- 1:00:43OK, we can choose to do mitzvahs and we if, if in certain points
- 1:00:48we were told Vafku go and do it and during shots of Schmab Vafku
- 1:00:51go and do it, then of course, when there is no schmab and
- 1:00:55they're not threatening us explicitly, then of course we
- 1:00:58can go and do the mitzvahs. Well, there I there is no I
- 1:01:02don't. You, You don't need you.
- 1:01:04You want you. You.
- 1:01:05You're saying that we need more of an explicit threat.
- 1:01:08Is that? I'm trying to say that.
- 1:01:10I'm trying to say if, if they give us an explicit threat,
- 1:01:13don't go to our vice. If you could actually point to
- 1:01:15the group, they're saying this, don't go to our vice made the
- 1:01:18power to do smart to us, then we would be giving our lives.
- 1:01:22I would say you have to go at gunpoint, go to higher bias and
- 1:01:25go and not give up on it because that's the schmob.
- 1:01:27They're trying to take it away from us right now.
- 1:01:29What if? You're saying it's not?
- 1:01:31Schmob right now are. You all dead.
- 1:01:33Then this is what's I'm. Just going to kill you more.
- 1:01:37Well, what if that's what they're?
- 1:01:38Saying. So and that and the rule is like
- 1:01:40I just said before, it doesn't matter what mitzvah you put into
- 1:01:43the the blank space mover here. OK this is a non Halo click non
- 1:01:49tobutic argument that has been disproven already and that is
- 1:01:52the gallium do not have veto power.
- 1:01:55I know so you're late to the game.
- 1:01:56You know, like I tell you, youngsters who come and they
- 1:01:58never you know it. Could be I'm late to the game,
- 1:02:01but I don't think you're. Being clear.
- 1:02:02Because I'm not hearing what you're saying.
- 1:02:04How? It is the gallium.
- 1:02:07Do not get a veto. I'm also keeping the mysticals.
- 1:02:10That's it. And they've said it before, like
- 1:02:11I, I, I gave you other physical examples.
- 1:02:14There is a movement, right? An actual grayish convinced to
- 1:02:17destroy the issue there it's as well.
- 1:02:20Choose so I answered that already.
- 1:02:22I think you should very as well is very different because I
- 1:02:24think that national security, the security of every single Jew
- 1:02:28is different. I think that.
- 1:02:29No, they've. Chosen an exception to the rule.
- 1:02:32No, no, there is no sense. The toy is 100%.
- 1:02:34We have to keep the toy. We can't say, you know what, if
- 1:02:37they threaten Shabbos and Koshwas, then we'll have to
- 1:02:39realize there are things we really need to give up on the
- 1:02:42long term for decades and centuries if possible, because
- 1:02:45we don't want to upset them. Go and get it.
- 1:02:47Get to veto and get to limit our Judaism.
- 1:02:49That is, that is nonsense. I mean, there's no tumbling
- 1:02:52precedent for such a thing. We find incidents in history
- 1:02:55where it's been disproven. That is just an A, a Jewish
- 1:02:58feeling or a Jewish idea that's more like cultural, like your
- 1:03:02children has to have a certain flavor to it.
- 1:03:04But that's not how that's not how.
- 1:03:06That's not what you want. You do.
- 1:03:08They want you to keep the Toro. I understand that they want us
- 1:03:11to keep the Toro. Okay.
- 1:03:12My argument was different is that when it comes to danger,
- 1:03:14I'm not sure that it's it's so simple that they all want us to
- 1:03:17keep the terror at the expense. You have to show.
- 1:03:19You have to show danger. It is.
- 1:03:21It's just that I don't know who said this, OK?
- 1:03:23So I've had then you and. I have to address youngsters
- 1:03:26saying this for a very long time actually.
- 1:03:28I just so you and I just so it could be that I'm on the side of
- 1:03:31the youngsters perhaps that you and I just have a disagreement
- 1:03:33on on what the other side is saying.
- 1:03:35I think the other side is saying we want you dead and we will
- 1:03:38kill you more if you do these things and you're claiming not
- 1:03:41well. I'm claiming, and I'm also
- 1:03:43claiming that they say that. They say that about you living
- 1:03:45in Jerusalem also, but you're not running away from Jerusalem
- 1:03:48right now. They actually do say.
- 1:03:49That but I know. But I I told you why I think
- 1:03:52that's different. I told you why.
- 1:03:54Yeah, that's and that's that's not a real philic.
- 1:03:56And then they're going to say that about everything.
- 1:03:58Like I said, you've given the Goyal veto.
- 1:03:59To do no the clock I made was national security.
- 1:04:02Philan is not Is not their Hoteva part of national
- 1:04:05security? Living in Eric Searol is.
- 1:04:08And also keeping the base of Mikus is part of it.
- 1:04:10Keeping all the mitzvahs together is.
- 1:04:12Having having the base of Mick as part of national security,
- 1:04:15it's not part of national security.
- 1:04:18Ask you democracy, By the way, what's today's date today?
- 1:04:21Is the 17 the KISS wave not mistaken and seven in a week
- 1:04:26from tonight we're going to be celebrating.
- 1:04:28I believe in the Jewish holiday, which I also believe is many
- 1:04:30Jews are completely disconnected and go go along with this.
- 1:04:33The Jews fought in the kindness mitzvah to regain the Hara bias
- 1:04:36and rebuild them as Bayak and rededicate the temples to have
- 1:04:39the Karbonos. Right now you are making the
- 1:04:41argument against you democracy and the Kashmir.
- 1:04:44I don't know if you keep if you yes, you are.
- 1:04:46You just made it. Yeah.
- 1:04:48I'm trying to make we need another unit Mocha be today
- 1:04:51about this year. We're here and saying, you know
- 1:04:53what we need to get. This I was not going to let the
- 1:04:56base of mix up. I had the option of not having
- 1:04:58it remain into the enemies hands.
- 1:04:59We are, we are going to let that mosque stay on higher bias for a
- 1:05:04long period of time, if that's really what we're going to do.
- 1:05:07That's what it seems. If that's really what we're
- 1:05:09going to do, OK. And we think that they're going
- 1:05:12to be there for a while and there's going to be danger.
- 1:05:14So then, yeah, I don't know why. Why to just ruffle people's
- 1:05:16feathers for no reason. And the time the Maccabee and
- 1:05:22the time you're the Maccabee, what we're going to do is we're
- 1:05:24going to push the solutions out, which we did completely.
- 1:05:27That was the idea to make a perimeter.
- 1:05:29To push people off a few decades they when they they should know
- 1:05:33the idea the. Idea was to push them all out.
- 1:05:36That was the idea here. The idea right now is that we're
- 1:05:38not pushing everyone out. If if we're pushing out, then I
- 1:05:41hear honestly pushing everyone out.
- 1:05:43So then what's the point? So there's different ways of
- 1:05:46going out doing this. You should know I believe that
- 1:05:49for now, I myself cannot build in this black or for criminals.
- 1:05:52And that's not what I am trying to do.
- 1:05:54I'm trying to build our lives and encourage more people and
- 1:05:56make it naturally more of a Jewish place and hopefully we'll
- 1:06:00be able to get enough Jews or just create our own government
- 1:06:03to push out the enemy and to reinstate, shave up baby and put
- 1:06:06them in charge there. There's a lot of ways to go
- 1:06:08about doing this, but the goal is the same.
- 1:06:10The rebuilding they semi dush and the institution, the
- 1:06:13reinstitution of the sacrificial service.
- 1:06:15Go and tell me that I should stay off of our bias entirely.
- 1:06:19It flies in the face of Jewish history and they're our greatest
- 1:06:21heroes. They would not allow such a
- 1:06:23thing. Governor Malik did not stand for
- 1:06:25such a thing. Like I said, or we're about to
- 1:06:27celebrate the holiday of the Jews who decided they were not
- 1:06:31going to tolerate this anymore. And also you have a desire that
- 1:06:33was I told you. What I thought.
- 1:06:34And I went to war for it. OK, so maybe maybe you want to
- 1:06:38go on to a different topic. Yeah.
- 1:06:40No, I'm very much enjoying discussing this topic, but we're
- 1:06:43out of time so I I have to go. But Rabbi Grossman thinking, oh
- 1:06:45man. Joining.
- 1:06:46Us I I was going to say that we that's it.
- 1:06:48Learned so much. That's what you want.
