- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. It's Lala Kent. Welcome to untraditionally Lala, Hello, gorgeous.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hello.
- 0:10Speaker 1: That's what mom did. That's what mom did.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Hi Mom. Here's the thing. Lisa's in this studio.
- 0:17Speaker 3: She doesn't want a pod, but now that she doesn't
- 0:19Speaker 3: have a mic, she's gonna have a lot to say.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I pray for that. I really really hope that that
- 0:26Speaker 1: is the case. We've spoken a lot about you on
- 0:29Speaker 1: the pod what are You Doing?
- 0:30Speaker 2: Had a lot to say, Oh.
- 0:33Speaker 1: She made a joke. We have had a lot to
- 0:38Speaker 1: say about you on the podcast. We have been following
- 0:42Speaker 1: your hip surgery journey. Our friends slash listeners are very
- 0:48Speaker 1: worried about you.
- 0:49Speaker 3: And thank you to all the friends and listeners and
- 0:52Speaker 3: everybody a part of the pod reaching out to not
- 0:56Speaker 3: only you, I guarantee reaching out to me giving you know,
- 0:59Speaker 3: people have stories the same as yours. So I'm just
- 1:02Speaker 3: very blessed that everybody is so worried about my mother
- 1:04Speaker 3: and the way we are.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I'm just when I walked in, so you guys, I
- 1:10Speaker 1: haven't seen my mom in the studio for a while,
- 1:12Speaker 1: and she used to always like want to come to
- 1:14Speaker 1: the studio just to get her out of the house,
- 1:16Speaker 1: and I walked back in because I recorded Unlikely today
- 1:22Speaker 1: and this gorgeous blonde woman is sitting in a chair
- 1:27Speaker 1: and my mother walked.
- 1:28Speaker 2: In behind me. Did you like that?
- 1:34Speaker 3: I'm on a rip today, baby talking all right, So
- 1:47Speaker 3: we're all a little bit consuited.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Even looking like this. I'm like, Yns, I'm right, but
- 1:55Speaker 1: I was so excited to see you, Mama. You were
- 1:58Speaker 1: sawing logs in my bed last night. I actually felt
- 2:00Speaker 1: badly being like, are you going to sleep in here?
- 2:04Speaker 1: Because I have you an ocean and ocean is like
- 2:06Speaker 1: my freaking shadow right now. You saw it last night.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's a lot. I walked into the bathroom mom, Mom,
- 2:14Speaker 1: where are you? I was like, I'm going to the bathroom.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I'm going to come in there. It's fine.
- 2:19Speaker 2: You left today. We were in the playroom when you
- 2:22Speaker 2: first left.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Yeah, she's looking out the window with one leg back,
- 2:27Speaker 3: leaning on the window and you're pulling out and she goes.
- 2:32Speaker 2: I just really wish my mom wasn't leaving me. Oh,
- 2:38Speaker 2: I know, and whipped cream.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You know what I tell her when she tells me
- 2:44Speaker 1: all of those things, like I don't want to be
- 2:46Speaker 1: left alone without you, and I go, that's how I
- 2:50Speaker 1: still feel about my mom. I get it, I get you. Girl.
- 2:54Speaker 1: That's not gonna go away, at least I hope it won't.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I was very, very proud of the mother that I
- 2:59Speaker 1: was this weekend. Can I get a clap? Lisa? You're
- 3:06Speaker 1: practicing on the softball field?
- 3:09Speaker 2: She was, how id it? She was fucking how baby?
- 3:14Speaker 2: She was cheering. There was a couple of Marlborough cracks
- 3:19Speaker 2: in there.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Go, I don't even care you go, Glen Coco. I'm
- 3:25Speaker 1: so happy to hear that. I want to hear all
- 3:27Speaker 1: about your guys' trip, but first let me too my
- 3:29Speaker 1: own horn. So I always take pride in the mother
- 3:34Speaker 1: that I am, because let's be honest, as mothers, you
- 3:37Speaker 1: really don't know what the hell you're doing, and each
- 3:40Speaker 1: phase is different, and then as you're doing it, it's
- 3:42Speaker 1: kind of like you start running. You're metaphorically and you're like,
- 3:46Speaker 1: oh my gosh, I'm doing it. I'm fucking doing it.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But I have a lot of help. Right this weekend
- 3:55Speaker 1: I had a no help. I had a meet that
- 3:58Speaker 1: was it me with the two kids, and I wasn't
- 4:02Speaker 1: nervous or anything. I know, I knew I would be
- 4:05Speaker 1: very tired. But girl, I had a jam packed weekend
- 4:13Speaker 1: full of fun. Friday, I had Janet and her mom
- 4:17Speaker 1: come over. We swam all day. She Janet brought over
- 4:23Speaker 1: steak noki. She made it at a mom may it.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Janet is such a good cook. Now, yeah, we all
- 4:31Speaker 1: had dinner together. I didn't know. Yeah, Janet made it.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I made it. That's what you declined.
- 4:37Speaker 3: No, I thought it was just pre I thought it
- 4:39Speaker 3: was just like the prepackaged where we just put it
- 4:42Speaker 3: in a thing.
- 4:42Speaker 1: But no, she brought rosemary. She brought her own skillet,
- 4:48Speaker 1: which she made, not a store bought. She's like rendered
- 4:51Speaker 1: fat whatever that means, made of sauce. I was like,
- 4:54Speaker 1: you can't do that. She even brought her own salt
- 4:58Speaker 1: and pepper because she didn't think that I would have
- 5:00Speaker 1: salt and pepper. I was like, Janet, Janet, do we
- 5:05Speaker 1: all right? How do you think I flavor all of
- 5:08Speaker 1: my boxed goods? Gotta have some salt? Fabulous? So we
- 5:13Speaker 1: all had dinner together, ran the kids into the ground. Saturday.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I planned a playdate with a little girl who Ocean's
- 5:20Speaker 1: gonna go to her new school with. That was amazing. Sunday,
- 5:28Speaker 1: we had a throwback friend, meaning Ocean's old school, her
- 5:33Speaker 1: little teacake friend who I love, that entire family, and
- 5:38Speaker 1: we were there from ten thirty to three thirty. I
- 5:41Speaker 1: could not believe it. And every night I would put
- 5:44Speaker 1: Sosa down at like six thirty seven. She would be exhausted.
- 5:48Speaker 1: She wouldn't even fight me. And then Ocean and I
- 5:51Speaker 1: all three nights would make popcorn and put Eminem's and
- 5:56Speaker 1: she would pick what movies she wanted and we'd eat
- 5:58Speaker 1: it in the bed and she would look at me,
- 6:01Speaker 1: hug me and say, Mom, this is the best night ever.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Like she just wants your time and attention. And there
- 6:08Speaker 1: was one thing that happened and she said, I was
- 6:10Speaker 1: on my phone and she said she paused the move
- 6:13Speaker 1: me and she said, Mom, you told me that you
- 6:15Speaker 1: would lay in the bed and watch a movie. That
- 6:18Speaker 1: means you can't have your phone, because that means you're
- 6:20Speaker 1: not paying attention. And I was like, she's clocking it right,
- 6:24Speaker 1: and I said, that is absolutely correct. And I put
- 6:28Speaker 1: my phone on the charger, which I keep my phone
- 6:30Speaker 1: away from my bed. But it was just very sweet
- 6:34Speaker 1: and I really really enjoyed, like I missed you guys,
- 6:36Speaker 1: and Ocean missed you guys terribly. But I had really
- 6:41Speaker 1: great one on one time with my kids where they
- 6:44Speaker 1: got mom time, they got to socialize with kids their
- 6:47Speaker 1: age because there were some kids that were Sosa's age.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I just I was very proud of myself as a
- 6:53Speaker 1: mom this weekend. That's all I'm going to say.
- 6:54Speaker 2: We are very proud of you as well.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Thank you. Eathtant does it all the time for me.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Isn't always with my two, it's by myself.
- 7:00Speaker 2: It's a lot. So I get you on that one.
- 7:02Speaker 3: But shit, twenty forty eight hours with no help, oh god, yeah,
- 7:09Speaker 3: good job.
- 7:10Speaker 1: More than that. You just left Friday morning and got
- 7:13Speaker 1: home Monday night.
- 7:15Speaker 2: But we had a CC.
- 7:17Speaker 3: I'm saying forty eight hours no help Saturday Sunday, oh yeah,
- 7:21Speaker 3: yeah yeah.
- 7:21Speaker 2: And still I will give you the nights though, because
- 7:24Speaker 2: boy do they come quick.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and not five o'clock. God, at dinnertime. The one
- 7:31Speaker 1: and a half two hours is the slowest moving one
- 7:35Speaker 1: and a half to two hours of my whole life.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Now from four to six, it's snail time. Brutal, It's
- 7:41Speaker 3: a brutal brutal. Yeah, I don't know how it passes,
- 7:45Speaker 3: but God, by chance it does.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I'm like, oh, it's five thirty. I
- 7:49Speaker 1: could do bath time and by then it'll be six.
- 7:51Speaker 1: What bath takes thirty minutes for a kid? None?
- 7:54Speaker 2: No, there's there were.
- 7:55Speaker 3: When I was watching them, I was like, if I
- 7:57Speaker 3: go to the grocery store with both of them an
- 8:00Speaker 3: hour and it'll be six, I can feed her.
- 8:04Speaker 2: All right, let's get in the car. Guys, waste this time?
- 8:08Speaker 1: No for real, Okay, tell me about Swingers. That's Easton's
- 8:13Speaker 1: gay softball team that he's on. He's the token straight.
- 8:16Speaker 2: We have a couple.
- 8:18Speaker 1: For now. I each team gets two straight people. Yeah, yeah,
- 8:23Speaker 1: freaking love it.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Well, yeah, there was a woman there. Her name was
- 8:28Speaker 3: Mama on the back of her shirt. She called me
- 8:30Speaker 3: her husband, and I kind of liked it. She goes,
- 8:35Speaker 3: take it easy, take it easy on. My future husband
- 8:41Speaker 3: was old enough to be my mother.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I love that. That's so cute she I mean, she was.
- 8:47Speaker 2: It was weird fun.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I stepped up to the plate and she goes, you
- 8:53Speaker 3: are something to look at. She goes, can I have
- 8:55Speaker 3: a piece?
- 8:56Speaker 2: And I just smiled at her and she goes, unless
- 8:58Speaker 2: you like dick, like the rest of them. I go hey,
- 9:01Speaker 2: I go I'm the token straight and she goes hey,
- 9:04Speaker 2: and then I hit it.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought you were gonna say liquor.
- 9:08Speaker 2: I was like, no, oh, no, her licoric for some salt. Well,
- 9:12Speaker 2: a lot of games being played.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Don't even act like it would be that shocking if
- 9:16Speaker 1: she shared her liquor, especially with Mom, because I learned
- 9:19Speaker 1: that Lisa smoked weed while they were in Seattle.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Because everybody listening, as you know, my mother, she had
- 9:26Speaker 3: her hip replaced. She's kicking like all the meds that
- 9:30Speaker 3: they had her on, and she just feels a little off.
- 9:33Speaker 3: And I was just everything that she is feeling. Marijuana
- 9:37Speaker 3: was a good like medical marijuana was a good alternative
- 9:41Speaker 3: to everything. So when she'd get her tremor, she'd smoke it,
- 9:44Speaker 3: and so me and Nicky went and bought her one.
- 9:47Speaker 1: The whole thing this weekend was getting you through on
- 9:50Speaker 1: your same meds. I called your doctor and they are
- 9:55Speaker 1: they've prescribed you something that I guess helps with Parkinson's
- 10:01Speaker 1: because you are displaying symptoms of that. However, I have
- 10:07Speaker 1: this text thread with a few sober people in it,
- 10:10Speaker 1: and I had gone mia for a minute and my
- 10:12Speaker 1: sponsor side texted me and said, you know, is everything okay?
- 10:16Speaker 1: Do you still want to be a part of that
- 10:18Speaker 1: group that group chat because we haven't heard from you.
- 10:22Speaker 1: So I responded and I let the group know kind of.
- 10:25Speaker 1: It's a gratitude text thread, so you say what you're
- 10:27Speaker 1: grateful for, and you keep people updated on what's happening
- 10:29Speaker 1: in your life while also pointing out the things that
- 10:32Speaker 1: you are grateful for. And then I called my sponsor.
- 10:36Speaker 1: She was like, it's so crazy that in that text
- 10:39Speaker 1: thread you mentioned DIP. Because what DIP is is drug
- 10:44Speaker 1: induced Parkinson's and it happens after surgery. It's when your
- 10:48Speaker 1: body reacts differently poorly to medication anesthesia, blocking the dopamine
- 10:56Speaker 1: release in your brain, and you display symptoms of Parkinson's.
- 11:00Speaker 1: The difference is at some point in time it wears
- 11:03Speaker 1: off to where dopamine is firing again the way it
- 11:07Speaker 1: needs to be. She said, my sister had that five
- 11:11Speaker 1: years ago. It took about a year for her to
- 11:14Speaker 1: like come to again. But I had never heard of
- 11:17Speaker 1: DIP before. It's not common, but she had it after
- 11:21Speaker 1: hip surgery. I'm like, that is crazy, I know, And
- 11:25Speaker 1: this is how I know my mom is off because
- 11:26Speaker 1: normally she would be like, that makes me nervous. The
- 11:30Speaker 1: hard thing with Parkinson's, from what I've read and what
- 11:35Speaker 1: neurologists we've spoken to, it's a process of elimination. There's
- 11:39Speaker 1: no brain scan, no blood test that you can have
- 11:42Speaker 1: that shows you have Parkinson's. It is doing the initial
- 11:47Speaker 1: testing that you as of right now passed. I will
- 11:52Speaker 1: get your results back on the twenty second. We have
- 11:56Speaker 1: the actual brain scan that needs to be scheduled. But
- 12:01Speaker 1: our primary physician said, you start treating for Parkinson's and
- 12:05Speaker 1: if there is you know, progress, I guess with the symptoms,
- 12:10Speaker 1: then then we know what direction to go in. I
- 12:13Speaker 1: am hopeful, I really am. But it's been Yeah, it's
- 12:21Speaker 1: always scary.
- 12:21Speaker 2: It's scary. The unknown is scary. Okay, I think you're
- 12:27Speaker 2: going to be just fine. I really do. Seeing you,
- 12:31Speaker 2: seeing you do the tests and all of that.
- 12:33Speaker 3: I know it's hard for you because you're not there
- 12:36Speaker 3: physically to see how well you're doing. But you did
- 12:39Speaker 3: the test very well. Like I wasn't nervous at all. Yeah.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I think it's also though, even though she's passing the tests,
- 12:48Speaker 1: we don't have an answer to why she's feeling the
- 12:50Speaker 1: way that she's and that's the only thing we know
- 12:53Speaker 1: is after the hip surgery, everything changed, and whether it
- 12:59Speaker 1: triggered something in the brain that is a forever thing,
- 13:02Speaker 1: whether it triggered something in the brain that is going
- 13:04Speaker 1: to be, you know, a blip in time, and we're
- 13:07Speaker 1: going to get through it. When we have answers, we
- 13:10Speaker 1: will have a roadmap to how we take care of
- 13:12Speaker 1: you and I. There are just little things that I feel,
- 13:22Speaker 1: little things that I feel are like so normal, just
- 13:25Speaker 1: like conversations with someone or hearing someone laugh.
- 13:30Speaker 4: They like you don't even clock right, And now I
- 13:33Speaker 4: don't really have long conversations with you. I rarely hear
- 13:38Speaker 4: you laugh, and I just want that.
- 13:40Speaker 1: To come back. Sorry, I can't even imagine how. I'm
- 13:45Speaker 1: sure you're very scared, but we're here with you.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I hope you know that you're never doing anything alone.
- 13:53Speaker 1: No, I'm so happy that the other things, even though
- 13:56Speaker 1: you don't feel well, like you want to be active,
- 13:58Speaker 1: Like you wanted to go to Montana for a week,
- 14:00Speaker 1: you wanted to go to Seattle. Even that day when
- 14:02Speaker 1: you guys were supposed to leave, I was like, are
- 14:03Speaker 1: you sure you feel up to going, and you were like.
- 14:06Speaker 2: I'm very proud.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I'm not not going.
- 14:08Speaker 3: I'm very proud of you because I know traveling isn't
- 14:11Speaker 3: easy with how you feel doing everything that you have
- 14:13Speaker 3: to do every day. I want you to know I'm
- 14:16Speaker 3: very proud of you, and I love that you are
- 14:19Speaker 3: up and moving even when you are feeling mentally and
- 14:22Speaker 3: physically like shit.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Very proud of you.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I really think everything is going to be okay. But
- 14:28Speaker 1: then obviously fear is just a part of life in
- 14:31Speaker 1: the unknown. But no matter what, like, we're going to
- 14:34Speaker 1: get through it, and we're going to get through it
- 14:35Speaker 1: as a family, and you're loved and supported and I'm
- 14:38Speaker 1: so happy you went. And Easton had like the game
- 14:40Speaker 1: of his life. Games. They played eight games.
- 14:44Speaker 2: We had eight games in two days. Hey two homerus whoop, whoop.
- 14:49Speaker 3: I had the highest batting average on a team with
- 14:51Speaker 3: like eighty four percent on base percentage. I got MVP
- 14:55Speaker 3: with a big old chain. I'll post it, but no,
- 14:59Speaker 3: it was way Can I be honest. Everybody has heard
- 15:02Speaker 3: about my shoulder and just getting it fixed.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I didn't change everything.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Well yeah that PRP man.
- 15:08Speaker 3: I am going to say, if you have anything that
- 15:11Speaker 3: feels a little off or like ligament that's popping out.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I would highly recommend PRP.
- 15:18Speaker 3: My shoulder is in the it feels like it's in
- 15:22Speaker 3: the best like shape it's ever been in. Like there's
- 15:24Speaker 3: it's tight, I can hit.
- 15:26Speaker 2: It's not a thought. Yeah, no, like I actually have fun.
- 15:30Speaker 3: And it was good to have like the team because
- 15:32Speaker 3: you know when you're like, hey, my shoulder's bad, when
- 15:34Speaker 3: it gets better, I'll be good, and they're like, hey, yeah,
- 15:36Speaker 3: I get out of here, kid, And then I did.
- 15:39Speaker 3: So it was good because then they all came up
- 15:40Speaker 3: and they were like, wow, you weren't lying. I was like, yes,
- 15:43Speaker 3: I told you my shoulder was fucked up, man, And
- 15:46Speaker 3: now they all see it.
- 15:47Speaker 2: So it was good that I did what I did
- 15:49Speaker 2: because now I feel a part of the team.
- 15:51Speaker 3: We love loved Seattle. We were in Isaquah, so outside
- 15:56Speaker 3: of Seattle. It's like twenty five minutes thirty minutes out
- 16:00Speaker 3: side of Seattle. It is.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Beautiful.
- 16:04Speaker 3: The air was crisp, Like we got out of the
- 16:07Speaker 3: airport and I was like, wow, no, we got yesterday.
- 16:13Speaker 1: We walked out.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Me and Nick both looked at it. I was like,
- 16:16Speaker 2: is this airships here? He goes. I was just thinking
- 16:18Speaker 2: that in La.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Yes, there's a lot of people out here, which places.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I heard a lot of people from FIFA the love La.
- 16:26Speaker 1: They were like very pleased about the best comment I ranch,
- 16:30Speaker 1: ranch was the number one American people.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Were taking the home ranch by the gallons in their bags. Yeah.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Also they never tried the one from spaghetti factory or
- 16:38Speaker 1: a pizza factory.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Oh that buttermilk ranch.
- 16:41Speaker 1: That ranch slaps.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I've never tasted a.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Ranch like that.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Yeah, ranch wishes it.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Was that ranch Utah Salt Lake, the greatest Saint George.
- 16:49Speaker 2: If we're going to be specific.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, o G you're right, maybe they here, maybe
- 16:55Speaker 1: someone I don't.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Can I talk about my labu being stole?
- 16:58Speaker 3: One?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Coming back to that? It's very weird, very weird.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Stands, wasn't it called Stan's BBQ?
- 17:07Speaker 1: We don't even have a barbecue that could get stolen?
- 17:10Speaker 2: No, in the old town. Lisa's taking it back to
- 17:14Speaker 2: the barbecue that we had in Issaqua.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Oh wow, we're really okay At the beginning of the episode, Yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Lisa, I'm just glad you're here. Baby, We're just
- 17:22Speaker 2: glad you're here.
- 17:23Speaker 1: What else you want to talk about? Lisa.
- 17:24Speaker 2: God damn it, Lisa, keep on coming. Give it face.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Is so proud, Lauren.
- 17:31Speaker 2: You should have seen me out there.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I was very proud.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Only twice.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I know eight.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I won the pot. I know money.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I won like two hundred and something dollars. Eh,
- 17:47Speaker 3: it hasn't hit the account yet, but I'll be looking.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Hasn't hit the old.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Venmo, I know.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Trust me, I am very, very proud of you and
- 17:58Speaker 3: everybody listening. I was below five hundred, so I was
- 18:01Speaker 3: the shittiest batter on the team. I'm the best, just
- 18:04Speaker 3: a shoulder away from being great.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Eight.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Now I'm in the eight and the highest you have
- 18:09Speaker 2: to move up in the league.
- 18:10Speaker 1: In the league, it's going to be a devastating day.
- 18:12Speaker 2: No, my batting is good, but my batting percentage is
- 18:15Speaker 2: like still in where I need to be.
- 18:16Speaker 1: You're not consistent.
- 18:18Speaker 3: If I keep no, I was five hundred. This was
- 18:21Speaker 3: the only tournament I've been good. If I keep doing this,
- 18:24Speaker 3: it'll put me up points.
- 18:25Speaker 2: And then what I'll do.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Is I'll be a little shittier in the field. I
- 18:29Speaker 3: want to hit me right in the chest. Would I
- 18:31Speaker 3: tell you these things are speeding at you like ninety
- 18:33Speaker 3: miles an hour. They're coming at you.
- 18:35Speaker 1: It's like an MLB speed.
- 18:37Speaker 3: No, those are well, I'll say, I lie to you
- 18:39Speaker 3: pretty heavily. They're probably coming off at like fifty or sixty,
- 18:42Speaker 3: but nine. When you're thirty three and never played baseball,
- 18:45Speaker 3: really you know they're coming at it like ninety. I
- 18:47Speaker 3: dove and caught one. Good for you, dove stretched out,
- 18:51Speaker 3: caught it. Everybody on the other bench, good stretch, I said,
- 18:55Speaker 3: damn right, oh wow, So I'm Lauren.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I was just out there just a lot of sportsmen ship.
- 19:00Speaker 2: That's what I really love about the league.
- 19:03Speaker 3: I will say we were getting our asses just fucking
- 19:05Speaker 3: handed to us because the team was really good. But like,
- 19:09Speaker 3: you can't hate anybody because like even if they're running
- 19:12Speaker 3: the score up on you, like they're always like yeah,
- 19:14Speaker 3: sometimes you get them like you're just nice.
- 19:16Speaker 2: That's yeah, there's.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Nothing to gain from this extent. You're all out there
- 19:20Speaker 1: having fun and it's like, I tell you, amazing that
- 19:23Speaker 1: you're on that team. You had your team over for
- 19:25Speaker 1: a barbecue. A few weeks we're doing it again.
- 19:28Speaker 2: By the way.
- 19:28Speaker 1: It's so much fun. Everyone's such a good vibe. They're
- 19:32Speaker 1: so cute with my kids. Your team.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Yeah, No, I have like a really really good team
- 19:36Speaker 3: that I've fought, like fallen very in love with. Just
- 19:40Speaker 3: like being around, playing around, they build you up, they
- 19:42Speaker 3: tease you. It's like, oh, Mom, was like sitting outside
- 19:46Speaker 3: and like three of my teammates came up and they
- 19:49Speaker 3: were like, hey, with all the balls like coming and flying,
- 19:52Speaker 3: we don't want her to get hit.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Can we bring her into the dugout? So I was
- 19:55Speaker 2: like yeah, so like they all just like.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Of England, it's all hot.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Like I'm grabbing my gear taking it to another field.
- 20:04Speaker 3: I look over like my whole team is like helping
- 20:06Speaker 3: Lisa like get her stuff.
- 20:07Speaker 2: I was like I was coming out Jesus.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Now.
- 20:11Speaker 2: It was a lot because she had a lot.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Of my gear too, so like it was my gear
- 20:14Speaker 3: that she was holding on to heavy. Mom was doing
- 20:17Speaker 3: a lot though. I'd see her just like stretching. I'd
- 20:19Speaker 3: be on third base and she'd be going lifting her
- 20:21Speaker 3: legs up, doing her little leg exercises.
- 20:23Speaker 1: That's so good, Mom.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Lisa. Trying is all it is. Do five, do ten.
- 20:28Speaker 2: That's more than you did yesterday. You're going to read
- 20:31Speaker 2: atomic habits.
- 20:33Speaker 1: If you just okay, one thing at a time. You said, well,
- 20:35Speaker 1: let's not have a reading as well. Let's just get
- 20:38Speaker 1: her to lift her limbs every so often.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Lift the limb to read right.
- 20:44Speaker 1: So many words per minute you can get You're.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Going to read a whole book by the end of
- 20:47Speaker 2: your life.
- 20:59Speaker 1: What are we talking about? The laboo boo? Yeah, guys
- 21:04Speaker 1: comes upstairs to day He's like, hey, did you drive
- 21:06Speaker 1: the Mercedes? I was like, is this a real question?
- 21:09Speaker 1: On what planet? Would I ever drive that thing? And
- 21:12Speaker 1: it does all I know you would never drive it
- 21:15Speaker 1: whatever year, And I was like, has nothing to do
- 21:17Speaker 1: with this, And I was like, maybe she could. With
- 21:20Speaker 1: how low you are to the ground in a car.
- 21:23Speaker 2: I still don't like it. I love it.
- 21:25Speaker 3: But so I'm going in my car last night because
- 21:29Speaker 3: a little hungry, you want to get food. My center
- 21:31Speaker 3: consoles open, and that is it.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Okay.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I get in nothing. It feels like somebody was in
- 21:38Speaker 2: the car. I got.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Like, they didn't take that with them.
- 21:45Speaker 3: What's in there? Yeah, my golf clubs are in the garage.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Nothing's in the trunk. So I get in there, center
- 21:52Speaker 3: consoles open. I have la boo boos that I like,
- 21:55Speaker 3: just trade out in my car. That just like hang,
- 21:58Speaker 3: you can judge me. No, I'll take a picture of it.
- 22:01Speaker 3: And so I have one hanging still there, two in
- 22:06Speaker 3: one bag, still there, one in one bag, gone by
- 22:10Speaker 3: so many.
- 22:11Speaker 1: I bought them for wait, hold on which one did
- 22:14Speaker 1: they take the one with the colored teeth?
- 22:15Speaker 2: No, they took the gray like wooly looking one. Oh,
- 22:20Speaker 2: the shittiest one.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Not only that that's gone, there's about forty bucks in
- 22:25Speaker 3: cash still there.
- 22:27Speaker 2: There's yeah, like there was more. I feel like they
- 22:33Speaker 2: left money for me.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Maybe it was kids. And they had the other la
- 22:36Speaker 1: boobos no because we asked her.
- 22:39Speaker 2: And she was like, no, I didn't do it, and
- 22:40Speaker 2: I was she probably I go out to the car.
- 22:43Speaker 1: And take a little booboo.
- 22:45Speaker 2: That's all I needed to hear. But I was like,
- 22:48Speaker 2: I don't.
- 22:48Speaker 3: It was the weirdest robbery I've ever been a part of.
- 22:51Speaker 3: I guess who the fuck just gets me from one
- 22:53Speaker 3: lab boo boo and.
- 22:54Speaker 1: You're not even a good one the color. Don't know
- 22:57Speaker 1: if I had that looks like six nine.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I still have that like that one, that's
- 23:01Speaker 3: the one that's hanging right now. But I will say
- 23:03Speaker 3: I don't know if I had money in the car previously,
- 23:07Speaker 3: or if they stole a La Boo boo and gave
- 23:09Speaker 3: me forty bucks.
- 23:12Speaker 2: It's the weirdest thing. I don't know.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I don't know if it was a robbery or a transaction.
- 23:16Speaker 2: With all I know, it was without my consent. So
- 23:19Speaker 2: I'm pretty I'm I don't know what's going on, or Eve's.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Gonna find the litle booboo somewhere some Okay, So this
- 23:29Speaker 1: headline dropped vpr alum Jack's Taylor Cosey's up to his
- 23:33Speaker 1: and ex Brittany's publicist. If you guys remember, there was
- 23:37Speaker 1: a rumor like two two and a half years ago
- 23:39Speaker 1: that Jack's and this other person name's Lorie I were
- 23:47Speaker 1: hooking up, and I you know, no one thought anything
- 23:51Speaker 1: of it moved on. This came out yesterday. I'm not
- 23:55Speaker 1: going to share with you guys the details of what
- 23:59Speaker 1: went on. Obviously, Brittany is one of my dearest friends,
- 24:02Speaker 1: and I want her to talk about it. All I'll
- 24:04Speaker 1: say is these are two bottom feeders. I'm absolutely disgusted.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I cannot believe that people move this way in life.
- 24:20Speaker 1: And I felt the need to text Brittany and say
- 24:25Speaker 1: I was with her all day but last night I
- 24:28Speaker 1: was like, Hey, I got invited to Vegas for less
- 24:32Speaker 1: than twenty four hours tomorrow and if you would like
- 24:35Speaker 1: to come, I would like to get you out of
- 24:38Speaker 1: Los Angeles and away from all the shit, So let
- 24:42Speaker 1: me know if you're down. And she texts back and said,
- 24:44Speaker 1: I think that would be really good for me. I
- 24:46Speaker 1: was like, oh shit, we're doing baby.
- 24:52Speaker 4: We're gonna leave tonight, be back tomorrow tomorrow by one.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Guys we're living. Yeah, I'll take the kids. Yeah, I
- 25:00Speaker 2: I called her.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, I'm on jet Suites. Yeah, you
- 25:05Speaker 1: guys all know I've booked two people on jet.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Suite assistant what assistant?
- 25:12Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:13Speaker 1: And when I tell you and I booked the hotel
- 25:16Speaker 1: all by myself, and I woke up three times last
- 25:20Speaker 1: night to go into my emails to make sure that
- 25:22Speaker 1: I booked us for the right city. I was like,
- 25:24Speaker 1: didn't stay Las Vegas?
- 25:26Speaker 2: Does anybody else two show? I do that too, I
- 25:29Speaker 2: will book it and I'll go. Did I even do
- 25:30Speaker 2: the right dates?
- 25:32Speaker 1: June?
- 25:32Speaker 2: June? I have to go back in the calendar and
- 25:34Speaker 2: then I'm like.
- 25:35Speaker 1: It shows that we're landing back home on the fifteenth.
- 25:38Speaker 1: But we're not leaving tonight, right, we can leave tonight.
- 25:40Speaker 1: It's three in the morning, okay tomorrow, Yeah that is right.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Wait is that the fourteenth?
- 25:43Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 25:44Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, we're good. And then I was like, no,
- 25:45Speaker 1: I'm still not but I did it.
- 25:48Speaker 2: I did it.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Mom watched me. I did learn a lot with that,
- 25:50Speaker 1: and now I know take the initiative. So that's what
- 25:53Speaker 1: I'm doing with Brittany. I can't wait to tell you
- 25:55Speaker 1: guys all about it. We're going to have the time
- 25:57Speaker 1: of our lives. Let's go into some pop culture. But
- 26:00Speaker 1: first I want to talk about this trend on TikTok
- 26:03Speaker 1: that Easton showed me, and I was like, it sounds
- 26:05Speaker 1: so stupid when I tell you, I sat there for
- 26:07Speaker 1: probably ten to fifteen minutes watching boyfriends and girlfriends or
- 26:13Speaker 1: husbands and wives eating at the same pace as their
- 26:15Speaker 1: significant other.
- 26:17Speaker 2: So fun.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I was like, this is crazy, this is like it was.
- 26:20Speaker 1: It's the greatest trend I've ever seen.
- 26:23Speaker 3: And what's so great is it's great man like the
- 26:26Speaker 3: woman following the man or the man following the woman.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I eat like a man. The valley has shown that.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I'm like, wow, you guys, did me really really dirty.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I'm never eating on camera again.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Oh, I just keep it eating.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I got like ribs in my mouth. I'm chewing like
- 26:42Speaker 1: I've never eaten anything in my life.
- 26:44Speaker 2: You look like situation.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I am hungry all the time. And then I
- 26:49Speaker 1: forget to eat. And then we get a call time
- 26:51Speaker 1: and it's at a restaurant. I'm like, whoo, I can
- 26:53Speaker 1: eat you, I can finally eat. What were we talking about? Oh,
- 26:56Speaker 1: thank you for sending me the thank you for making
- 26:58Speaker 1: me sit down and watch that trend, because oh yeah
- 27:00Speaker 1: it is.
- 27:00Speaker 3: It is.
- 27:01Speaker 1: If you guys haven't tried.
- 27:02Speaker 3: It, well, here's the thing. Law always is like, you're
- 27:05Speaker 3: just on your phone, And here's the thing. Sometimes I am,
- 27:08Speaker 3: but sometimes i'm not. And when I tell you, I
- 27:11Speaker 3: am just roped up in some stupid trend that I
- 27:14Speaker 3: just watch for twenty minutes. And it's the same video
- 27:16Speaker 3: of different people.
- 27:17Speaker 1: The same laugh that you guys hear on the podcast.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I'm like, what the fuck would be that funny? So
- 27:21Speaker 1: then he shows me this one. Do you like the
- 27:24Speaker 1: men eating at the same pace as the woman or
- 27:26Speaker 1: the other way?
- 27:27Speaker 3: Honestly, I like them both the same because it's like
- 27:29Speaker 3: the woman trying to keep up with this man eating
- 27:32Speaker 3: a sandwich in three bites, which I don't know how
- 27:35Speaker 3: they're doing it. But then I love the woman eating
- 27:37Speaker 3: because she like makes it slow, will toss it, she'll
- 27:40Speaker 3: like get the pieces.
- 27:41Speaker 1: And you have to do exactly what your partner is doing.
- 27:43Speaker 3: So like the guy is like wanting to eat, and
- 27:46Speaker 3: like she'll eat like one chip and then she'll like
- 27:48Speaker 3: watch her TV and take a sip.
- 27:49Speaker 1: And the guy's like what do the one girl who
- 27:51Speaker 1: was like he still hasn't drinking a drink water?
- 27:54Speaker 2: Hey, do you need some water?
- 27:55Speaker 1: You drink some water. It's so good. This one's sad.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Grocery store Joe, who you guys know from like the
- 28:07Speaker 1: Bachelor Nation, he did the prenuvo scan that you and
- 28:10Speaker 1: I did, mom, and they found a blueberry sized lesion
- 28:14Speaker 1: in his scan and it appeared to be an early
- 28:16Speaker 1: stage cancerous brain tumor.
- 28:20Speaker 2: And now he's caught in time.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Yeah, he has to undergo surgery to remove it, and
- 28:24Speaker 1: so like prenuvo quite literally saved him.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Right, you know, I hope everything in that surgery goes well.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to say something that people will probably
- 28:33Speaker 1: get mad at me about but I'm okay with it.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I understand that prenuvo is expensive. It's a couple thousand dollars, okay,
- 28:44Speaker 1: But it's like quite literally saving people's lives. And we've
- 28:48Speaker 1: all seen how insurance they can be extremely difficult. And
- 28:55Speaker 1: let's just say you have something where you have to
- 28:59Speaker 1: be treated for it. There are some people who their
- 29:02Speaker 1: medical bills are skyrocketing into the millions of dollar range.
- 29:07Speaker 1: I highly recommend if you can put aside some money
- 29:13Speaker 1: each paycheck and save up for a full body MRI,
- 29:19Speaker 1: that it is worth it. Like, I know that that
- 29:23Speaker 1: is expensive, and I get it. It is really hard
- 29:25Speaker 1: to make a paycheck, but you don't get to go
- 29:27Speaker 1: and get an MRI unless there is a primary doctor
- 29:31Speaker 1: who will like write you the request form.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I would like to do some research to see if
- 29:37Speaker 2: they have payment plans for that, because that should be
- 29:42Speaker 2: something that they offer with it being such an amazing
- 29:45Speaker 2: thing to do.
- 29:46Speaker 1: And the whole reason I contacted Prenuvo back in September
- 29:50Speaker 1: was because I was feeling like I was getting headaches
- 29:54Speaker 1: and I felt like tension in my forehead. I was like,
- 29:57Speaker 1: I really want to know, like what's going on, and
- 30:00Speaker 1: and you know. My results came back and it was
- 30:02Speaker 1: very positive, except my posture is so messed up that
- 30:05Speaker 1: I could qualify for twelve sessions of PET covered by insurance.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Do you think I ever did that? No, but I
- 30:11Speaker 1: do need to do that. I have a primary who
- 30:13Speaker 1: said I will, I will definitely look at your scan
- 30:17Speaker 1: and send you to a physical therapist. Anyway, there's that.
- 30:20Speaker 1: It's quite literally saving people's lives. I want to do
- 30:34Speaker 1: an egg and Relief of the week Easton, What is
- 30:37Speaker 1: your ache of the week?
- 30:39Speaker 2: My ache of the week.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Honestly in the notes that your your ache is that
- 30:43Speaker 1: your la boo boo?
- 30:44Speaker 3: That is it. I was going to say my ache
- 30:47Speaker 3: is the la boo boo, but not even the laboo boo.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Just that was somebody in my fucking car. I feel
- 30:57Speaker 3: like I gues something. Yes, it's not about the laboo boos.
- 31:01Speaker 3: I do not care if the labuo boos get stolen.
- 31:03Speaker 3: I don't want somebody's ass in my seat. All there's
- 31:09Speaker 3: my ache. Okay, okay, so you're little, so that's her
- 31:15Speaker 3: age your back. You're pussy in your crack ambity. I
- 31:21Speaker 3: fucking hated that, mom my bed my man crack I'm
- 31:32Speaker 3: very happy. If my mom was getting into the car
- 31:35Speaker 3: by herself listening to that song, we would have to
- 31:38Speaker 3: sit down and have a.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Conversation as if she hasn't ever heard me talk like this.
- 31:45Speaker 1: You know how I talk. It's a joke. I'm trying
- 31:48Speaker 1: to make light of it. Your ache sore, your literal aches, Okay,
- 31:51Speaker 1: My ache is that I feel like my body is
- 31:54Speaker 1: also falling apart. Last night, I felt like my the
- 31:59Speaker 1: corner of my ho nail was like digging into my skin.
- 32:02Speaker 1: So I get out and my I have a horizontal
- 32:05Speaker 1: crack near my cuticle and my whole nail is completely
- 32:08Speaker 1: lifted up. So now I'm going to DM the girl
- 32:12Speaker 1: who does these nails, because remember every time, I like,
- 32:15Speaker 1: it's taking a long time, and she always tells me
- 32:18Speaker 1: like la la, I have to like preserve the quality
- 32:20Speaker 1: of your actual nail, So it's gonna take a while.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Welcome for fun.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Now I'm looking at my toes and I'm like, it's
- 32:25Speaker 1: because my actual nail they're just like drilling into it,
- 32:28Speaker 1: so it's making them weak. I'm gonna DM that girl,
- 32:30Speaker 1: and I'm gonna be like, do you make house calls
- 32:32Speaker 1: if you don't can I just DM you and you
- 32:33Speaker 1: put me on the schedule for both hands and feet,
- 32:36Speaker 1: and I guess I'm gonna spend the day with your babe.
- 32:40Speaker 1: It's like two and a half hours just for my hands.
- 32:44Speaker 1: The one time I never wear heels, I never go anywhere,
- 32:48Speaker 1: and now I've got a busted ass toe that really hurts. Yeah,
- 32:54Speaker 1: so what's your relief.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Let's let's make it quick softball third place? Bang?
- 33:00Speaker 1: Bang? What's your relief? Mom? Excellent? I'll take it.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Us if anybody needs to hear that.
- 33:10Speaker 1: My relief was the weekend that I had with my kids.
- 33:13Speaker 1: I really highly enjoyed it. Missed you, guys, but it
- 33:16Speaker 1: was great anyway. Thank you guys so much for listening
