- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need every Friday.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Friends.
- 0:03Speaker 3: It feels so good to say it Happy Friday. We
- 0:06Speaker 3: made it.
- 0:07Speaker 4: Ricky Sanchez is Riday here with those three things.
- 0:10Speaker 5: Some of the Oscars presenters have been announced. This is
- 0:14Speaker 5: gonna be a fun one. So Robert Downey, Junior, Ann Hathaway,
- 0:17Speaker 5: Paul Mescal, Will Arnett, Preanco, Choper Jonas, and Gwyneth Paltrow
- 0:22Speaker 5: are all set to present at this year's ceremony. They
- 0:25Speaker 5: join Chase Infinity, Maya Rudolph, Mikey Madison, and a bunch
- 0:29Speaker 5: more who were previously announced. More talent are going to
- 0:32Speaker 5: be joining the show, but they won't announce that until
- 0:35Speaker 5: closer to the actual show. The Oscars are going to
- 0:38Speaker 5: happen on March fifteenth, so they're coming up, and they're
- 0:41Speaker 5: gonna be hosted by Conan O'Brien. I there's something about
- 0:45Speaker 5: Conan O'Brien that is so endearing.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I love it.
- 0:48Speaker 5: I really like him.
- 0:49Speaker 3: I've been a huge Conan guy since I was like
- 0:51Speaker 3: in middle school. I love Conan like.
- 0:53Speaker 5: Very smart and endearing and sweet. He seems kind. There's
- 0:56Speaker 5: something about Conan O'Brien that I really like to Madness
- 1:00Speaker 5: is back in Nashville for a second year. This is
- 1:03Speaker 5: so fun to get involved with, so more than twenty
- 1:05Speaker 5: local coffee and tea shops are involved in this. It's
- 1:08Speaker 5: a fun way for you to support local and to
- 1:10Speaker 5: try some new signature drinks throughout the month of March.
- 1:13Speaker 5: So you pick up a scorecard at Forevermore Coffee in
- 1:16Speaker 5: East Nashville, and then you stop at each shop or
- 1:18Speaker 5: as many shops as you possibly can to get a
- 1:20Speaker 5: stamp on your card. Some of the spots involved are
- 1:23Speaker 5: obviously Forevermore Coffee, as well as Crema, Surefire Coffee Company,
- 1:28Speaker 5: Cafe Baboo, and a bunch More. A full list of
- 1:31Speaker 5: cafes and their signature drink that they're doing this month
- 1:34Speaker 5: is all available at Macha Madness Nashville dot com. Once
- 1:38Speaker 5: you're done with your scorecard, you just turn it in
- 1:40Speaker 5: by April six and you have a chance to win prizes.
- 1:43Speaker 5: So it's like a fun way to support local and
- 1:45Speaker 5: a fun way to maybe win a prize in the end.
- 1:47Speaker 5: It's kind of a win win win all the way around.
- 1:51Speaker 5: And a new study found that older adults who frequently
- 1:54Speaker 5: listen to music have a thirty nine percent lower risk
- 1:56Speaker 5: of developing dementia. So researchers at Manish University followed more
- 2:01Speaker 5: than ten eight hundred people over the course or over
- 2:05Speaker 5: the age of seventy and found that regular music engagement,
- 2:08Speaker 5: whether they're listening or playing an instrument, so you don't
- 2:12Speaker 5: have to be musically inclined, but both are involved in
- 2:15Speaker 5: this study, they're linked to better memory. They also they
- 2:19Speaker 5: got higher cognitive scores. They significantly reduced cognitive decline. All
- 2:24Speaker 5: positive things. So listening to music, like listening to one
- 2:27Speaker 5: of seven five the River is a positive good thing
- 2:30Speaker 5: for you. I'm rick Sanchez and those are the three
- 2:33Speaker 5: things you need to know.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Probably my favorite study you've referenced here in a while, Ricky,
- 2:37Speaker 4: I like that one a lot. All right, let's get
- 2:39Speaker 4: back into the music. We're gonna play Tate McCrae and
- 2:42Speaker 4: if you want to go see some music live, we've
- 2:44Speaker 4: got more tickets into freely fested Bridgestone next month, the
- 2:47Speaker 4: Killers Tea Pains. It's gonna be a great time. Within
- 2:50Speaker 4: ten minutes, we'll ask you to call to win that
- 2:52Speaker 4: for the first color of the day.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I'm the rib Ricky is Zach and Manno in the
- 2:56Speaker 1: morning on the River.
- 2:59Speaker 5: Have a friend Chelsea in Franklin on theline. Good morning, Chelsea,
- 3:02Speaker 5: Good morning. What are you doing this Friday morning?
- 3:06Speaker 6: I'm actually I work night shift for nine one so
- 3:10Speaker 6: I'm on my way home.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Wow, are you a dispatcher?
- 3:13Speaker 6: I am.
- 3:14Speaker 7: I feel like that has got to be one of
- 3:15Speaker 7: the most stressful jobs.
- 3:17Speaker 6: You know, you would think that, but I absolutely love it.
- 3:22Speaker 7: I'm glad because I feel like it's such a cool
- 3:24Speaker 7: thing and like, yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 6: You're adrenaline, it's made for you.
- 3:30Speaker 5: I also think it's something that like you gotta love
- 3:32Speaker 5: in order to do for a long period of time,
- 3:34Speaker 5: you know what I mean, because that can be exhausted.
- 3:36Speaker 3: To deal with some real heavy stuff.
- 3:38Speaker 7: I'm sure.
- 3:39Speaker 6: Oh definitely.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Who is technically your employer, because that's interesting to me
- 3:42Speaker 4: that you said you work for nine one one.
- 3:44Speaker 6: So it's Williamson County.
- 3:46Speaker 5: Okay, okay, okay, that's see. We I'm sure I see
- 3:50Speaker 5: everybody's wheels turning. We could ask you eight hundred questions
- 3:53Speaker 5: about this.
- 3:55Speaker 6: Yeah, definitely, it's not every.
- 3:56Speaker 5: Day that you talk to somebody who's a dispatcher for
- 3:58Speaker 5: nine one one, because this is like kind of crazy
- 4:00Speaker 5: right now.
- 4:01Speaker 2: My last question, because this is how I'm picturing it.
- 4:03Speaker 7: Do you sit in a cubicle with like a little
- 4:05Speaker 7: headpiece on like a Britney Spears microphone.
- 4:07Speaker 6: I mean, we definitely have the microphone, and we have
- 4:10Speaker 6: like our own little desk area, but they're not cubicle,
- 4:12Speaker 6: so they're not blocked off, so we still have like
- 4:15Speaker 6: that interaction with other people.
- 4:16Speaker 7: Okay, so you can still hear everybody else on the
- 4:19Speaker 7: phone too.
- 4:20Speaker 6: Absolutely.
- 4:21Speaker 8: Wow.
- 4:21Speaker 5: How many of you are there? Typically to a shift, it.
- 4:25Speaker 6: Ranges between eight to twelve.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Oh my god. We don't even have that many people
- 4:31Speaker 5: that work at this radio station.
- 4:34Speaker 6: We cover the whole county, so yeah, it takes a
- 4:38Speaker 6: lot of people.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Do you ever think that if you have an important
- 4:41Speaker 4: phone call, come in? Do you ever think, like, all right,
- 4:42Speaker 4: chelsea'd be cool? This could be on a Netflix documentary
- 4:45Speaker 4: because you know how they always play the audio.
- 4:46Speaker 6: It definitely could be.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Yeah, they always play the audio of the nine one.
- 4:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like not funny, but it is funny because
- 4:54Speaker 5: it really could end up being that. It ends up
- 4:57Speaker 5: on a Netflix doecumentary or something like that.
- 4:59Speaker 8: That's wild.
- 5:00Speaker 5: Did think about it?
- 5:01Speaker 3: I wonder if you get like a cut of that,
- 5:03Speaker 3: if they're using your voice. Probably, I mean I would hope.
- 5:06Speaker 5: So Chelsea's looking for that check. Yeah, I am impressed
- 5:13Speaker 5: that you still have so much energy when you just
- 5:15Speaker 5: did the night shift and you are ready to go
- 5:17Speaker 5: this morning. We appreciate you for what you do. Your
- 5:20Speaker 5: job is really hard, even though you love it like
- 5:22Speaker 5: that is a stressful job. So first off, we appreciate
- 5:25Speaker 5: you so much.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Uh.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Second off, thank you so much for listening to us
- 5:29Speaker 5: into one oh seven five the River. And third, you
- 5:31Speaker 5: won these tickets to Freely Fast Separate Son Arena.
- 5:34Speaker 7: Yay, congratulations, The Killers, Tea Pain Dominic, fig Jenell Money.
- 5:40Speaker 4: It's gonna be a fantastic show. And like Ricky said, you.
- 5:44Speaker 6: That's like screaming money.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Yes, I so much fun. Yes, hang on one second,
- 5:50Speaker 5: we're gonna keep you on hold. We got to get
- 5:52Speaker 5: your info. Okay, okay, perfect.
- 5:54Speaker 3: You guys want to try this with me real quick.
- 5:55Speaker 3: I've never actually said it. Nine one one? What's your emergency?
- 5:58Speaker 5: That was pretty good, Kevin, actually serious?
- 6:02Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 6:02Speaker 5: That's the most serious person.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yeah, that's most serious you've ever been.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Do you guys want to try and you're just gonna
- 6:07Speaker 3: let make me do it?
- 6:08Speaker 5: No, just you. You're the one who had the idea,
- 6:09Speaker 5: and I think you did a great job.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Frickey is Zach.
- 6:13Speaker 4: And in the morning, Happy Friday. It's one oh seven
- 6:16Speaker 4: five the River. Every Friday about this time, Zach runs
- 6:20Speaker 4: down a list of all the cool things happening around town.
- 6:22Speaker 4: If you're looking for something to get into, looking for plans,
- 6:25Speaker 4: look no further, Zach.
- 6:26Speaker 3: What's happening?
- 6:27Speaker 7: Okay, So I want to start with there is a
- 6:29Speaker 7: crawfish boil happening at Streetcar, which is like this really
- 6:32Speaker 7: cool brewery in Germantown. So they're gonna be serving national
- 6:35Speaker 7: scenes best crawfish on Nashville's best patio Streetcar alongside their
- 6:40Speaker 7: full menu. So that is Saturday from eleven am to midnight.
- 6:44Speaker 7: I love me at Crawfish Boil.
- 6:45Speaker 5: Do you do you do say it again?
- 6:47Speaker 2: Crawfish boil?
- 6:49Speaker 3: Yeah, the first said boil, and I was concerned.
- 6:53Speaker 7: It literally depends on like how quickly I say it
- 6:56Speaker 7: or in the context if you just asked me to
- 6:57Speaker 7: say then I'll.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Say bowl bowl.
- 7:00Speaker 5: I love it.
- 7:01Speaker 7: Also, the heated Rivalry dance party is happening Saturday night
- 7:04Speaker 7: at Exit In.
- 7:05Speaker 2: It starts at eight pm.
- 7:06Speaker 7: It is called Cottage Chemistry, Heated Rivalry dance party. Tickets
- 7:10Speaker 7: are only twenty seven dollars and that is tomorrow night
- 7:13Speaker 7: at Exident. So if you love the show like all
- 7:15Speaker 7: of us on the show did, except Kevin has never
- 7:17Speaker 7: seen it.
- 7:18Speaker 3: So I haven't gotten will.
- 7:21Speaker 7: It's happening tomorrow night at Exit In and we also
- 7:24Speaker 7: just really love Exitent and it's a local venue that
- 7:26Speaker 7: I need you to go support so that they stay
- 7:28Speaker 7: in business. And then Sunday is International Women's Day, so
- 7:33Speaker 7: we are going to celebrate with the International Women's Day Market.
- 7:36Speaker 7: It's happening at Southern Gris Brewing in the Nations. It
- 7:39Speaker 7: is Sunday from eleven am to two pm. And I
- 7:41Speaker 7: think this is really cool because they are bringing together
- 7:44Speaker 7: a lineup of like forty local women owned businesses for
- 7:47Speaker 7: a day of shopping, sipping and supporting all of the
- 7:50Speaker 7: incredible talent and hard working women in our area with
- 7:53Speaker 7: forty different local women owned businesses.
- 7:55Speaker 8: Love.
- 7:56Speaker 5: I love that. What are you guys going to do
- 7:57Speaker 5: to celebrate me on Sunday?
- 8:00Speaker 3: And I don't want to ruin the surprise?
- 8:01Speaker 5: Okay, can't wait?
- 8:03Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Me and Kevin are in together.
- 8:05Speaker 5: Can't wait?
- 8:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and then lastly, I do want to say.
- 8:08Speaker 7: Saturday night is Nashville SC versus Minnesota, and it is
- 8:11Speaker 7: Barbie Night at Giotis Park. So if you want to
- 8:14Speaker 7: get out on Saturday night, go dress up in all pink.
- 8:16Speaker 2: It's a Nashville SC game. Love that.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Thank you, Zach and Ricky. We celebrate you every day.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Do you yeah?
- 8:23Speaker 8: Yes?
- 8:23Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's right, Kevin.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Are you ready for a chant? One?
- 8:27Speaker 8: Two?
- 8:28Speaker 3: Ricky Ricky rick.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Do this every morning?
- 8:35Speaker 8: Three things you need to know? All right?
- 8:37Speaker 3: He's after seven o'clock, Hey, right after three things.
- 8:40Speaker 4: It's exciting. It's new music Friday. We have a new song,
- 8:43Speaker 4: brand new music from Harry Styles. His new record is out.
- 8:45Speaker 4: We're going to play something in just a couple of minutes,
- 8:47Speaker 4: but first Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 8:50Speaker 5: Britney Spears was arrested for suspicion of driving under the
- 8:53Speaker 5: influence in California this week. So according to arrest records
- 8:56Speaker 5: from the Ventura Sheriff's Office, she was placed under a
- 9:00Speaker 5: on the evening of Wednesday, March fourth, and then released
- 9:03Speaker 5: early in the morning Thursday, March fifth. The arrest was
- 9:06Speaker 5: listed as quote site and release with a no probation
- 9:10Speaker 5: and she's due to appear in courte for this incident
- 9:12Speaker 5: on May fourth. Seems like Brittany also deleted her Instagram
- 9:17Speaker 5: after the arrest, which is probably for the best because
- 9:20Speaker 5: you know, things can get crazy on there, especially when
- 9:22Speaker 5: something like this happens. But we're thinking of her and
- 9:24Speaker 5: we hope that she's okay and she, you know, if
- 9:27Speaker 5: she was driving under the influence, that she gets the
- 9:29Speaker 5: help that she needs, because it's very important that you
- 9:31Speaker 5: know she's okay. We may be getting a mini Sphere
- 9:34Speaker 5: here in Nashville, the Sphere in Vegas, the big one
- 9:38Speaker 5: that they got that they do all those crazy led
- 9:40Speaker 5: lights on the outside of it. We're in the running
- 9:44Speaker 5: for a smaller version. They're making them across the country.
- 9:47Speaker 5: It's been reported that a smaller one is already going
- 9:49Speaker 5: to happen outside of Washington, d C. In Maryland, but
- 9:52Speaker 5: now it looks like we could possibly be next. The
- 9:55Speaker 5: sources that are saying this are anonymous because it's in
- 9:58Speaker 5: the preliminary phase right now. There's nothing that's one hundred
- 10:01Speaker 5: percent guaranteed. But as always, I will let you know
- 10:04Speaker 5: what's happening once we know more. I like it and
- 10:06Speaker 5: if you haven't updated your dating profile or your picture
- 10:09Speaker 5: in a while, take this as a sign to do that. Today,
- 10:13Speaker 5: nearly seven to ten young men have never updated or
- 10:17Speaker 5: rarely update their dating profile, and dating experts are saying
- 10:20Speaker 5: that this is a huge reason why you're kind of
- 10:24Speaker 5: slowing down in your prospects. You gotta update things. This
- 10:27Speaker 5: simple picture update, maybe an action photo instead of a selfie,
- 10:32Speaker 5: would be a huge benefit to you. On dating apps
- 10:36Speaker 5: if you're on them, so update your profile if you
- 10:38Speaker 5: haven't in a while, update, put some new pictures, answer
- 10:42Speaker 5: some new prompts. I think there's prompts now on some
- 10:44Speaker 5: of them. Just refresh, kind of like how you refresh
- 10:47Speaker 5: your look and you refresh your home. You got to
- 10:49Speaker 5: refresh your dating profile. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are
- 10:52Speaker 5: the three things you need to know.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Good advice. Thank you, Ricky. Let's play brand new Harry Styles.
- 10:57Speaker 3: It is new music Fridays.
- 10:59Speaker 4: New album is officially out. Kiss all the time, just
- 11:02Speaker 4: go occasionally.
- 11:03Speaker 5: He wrote this one about me.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Oh it's called American Girls. Let's say listen to the
- 11:09Speaker 4: lyrics and picture Ricky to do it. Harry Styles, It's
- 11:14Speaker 4: the River.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Class is in sessions Sacks facts on.
- 11:20Speaker 2: So coming up on Sunday.
- 11:22Speaker 7: It is, in fact International Women's Day, and this year
- 11:24Speaker 7: the theme is give It to Gain, which is emphasizing
- 11:27Speaker 7: generosity and investment to accelerate gender equality. I love it,
- 11:31Speaker 7: so if you want to go give it to Gain,
- 11:34Speaker 7: celebrate women all of the time, but especially on International
- 11:37Speaker 7: Women's Day on Sunday.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Great, Happy International Women's Day to all of the women.
- 11:42Speaker 2: And there's the fact of the day.
- 11:44Speaker 5: Thanks Ken. Welcome brought to you by Mark Spain.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Real Estate, Ricky Zach and Menno.
- 11:49Speaker 3: In the morning on Happy Friday. It's one oh seven
- 11:53Speaker 3: to five the river.
- 11:54Speaker 4: For so many in the Nashville area, spring break officially starts.
- 11:58Speaker 5: I guess today after work, Yeah, today is the day.
- 12:02Speaker 5: We want to know what you're doing for your spring break?
- 12:04Speaker 5: Are you going somewhere? Do you have some activities planned
- 12:07Speaker 5: at home? What are you doing to celebrate a week off?
- 12:11Speaker 4: Six one, five, seven, three seven nine one seven, kids, parents, teachers, students,
- 12:17Speaker 4: What are you doing for spring break?
- 12:18Speaker 3: We want to hear.
- 12:19Speaker 8: About Ricky Zach and Minnow in the morning.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Everybody's excited because spring break is officially here. After school
- 12:28Speaker 5: is done today, but it's basically here. So we want
- 12:30Speaker 5: to know what you're doing to celebrate the week off
- 12:33Speaker 5: Andrew and Nashville. What do you have planned?
- 12:35Speaker 1: Well, the family and I are Tredick heading down to
- 12:38Speaker 1: key West, Florida for a week.
- 12:40Speaker 5: Wow.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Is the family there with you?
- 12:43Speaker 8: Now?
- 12:44Speaker 5: You have got two of them here with me? Now,
- 12:45Speaker 5: are you guys excited?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:47Speaker 8: You really?
- 12:48Speaker 1: Right now?
- 12:50Speaker 5: Thanks?
- 12:51Speaker 7: So Cute's I feel like that's a long trip with
- 12:53Speaker 7: two kids. Key West is a long trip from here.
- 12:56Speaker 2: It is a hect of a travel day, that's for sure.
- 12:59Speaker 5: But it's all worth it once you're there.
- 13:01Speaker 2: That's what matters, absolutely for it.
- 13:04Speaker 4: I know Key West is kind of like an island
- 13:06Speaker 4: down there, right, but do you drive down or are
- 13:08Speaker 4: you flying?
- 13:09Speaker 8: Fly down, drive through the island?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Okay, okay, that sounds fun.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Drive from Miami me and me.
- 13:16Speaker 5: Okay, don't do that, Kevin, Andrew, you and your family
- 13:19Speaker 5: have so much fun. Enjoy your spring break in key West.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks guys, thank you. I have a good one
- 13:26Speaker 3: heavy spring break.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Bye.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Man. It does sound like a long trip with the kids.
- 13:32Speaker 5: Like I said, once you're there, it's all worth it, though.
- 13:34Speaker 3: But thankfully iPads exist. Those are a game changer on
- 13:38Speaker 3: travel days.
- 13:39Speaker 2: That's true.
- 13:39Speaker 7: I will say that I found a list of things
- 13:41Speaker 7: to do if you were staying home during spring break,
- 13:43Speaker 7: because I know traveling, especially with kids, can be extremely expensive.
- 13:47Speaker 7: So if you're saying get home, they're saying that you
- 13:48Speaker 7: can build a fort and go camping in your backyard.
- 13:51Speaker 7: So like blankets, pillows and chairs. You can do it
- 13:54Speaker 7: in your living room if it's raining outside.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Or I want to make a fort inside.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I love this one. They say to do an obstacle course.
- 14:03Speaker 7: So you can set up an indoor or backyard obstacle
- 14:05Speaker 7: course using household household items to encourage movement, and that's
- 14:09Speaker 7: what the kids love. A challenge ken, Oh my god,
- 14:13Speaker 7: this one is my last, my last one, and it's
- 14:15Speaker 7: my favorite.
- 14:16Speaker 2: The family Baking Challenge.
- 14:17Speaker 7: You can host a bake off or have a cooking
- 14:19Speaker 7: day where the kids help prepare meals or snacks.
- 14:21Speaker 5: Oh go British bakeoff is my favorite ever. That sounds
- 14:25Speaker 5: so fun.
- 14:25Speaker 7: I feel like it'd be really really sweet and like,
- 14:27Speaker 7: get to hang out with your kids while keeping them entertained.
- 14:31Speaker 3: These ideas.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Okay, you're visible, I am six one, five, seven, three, seven,
- 14:36Speaker 4: nine seven.
- 14:37Speaker 3: What are yourr spring break plans. We want to hear
- 14:39Speaker 3: about them.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on.
- 14:45Speaker 3: The river.
- 14:46Speaker 4: Happy spring break to all who celebrate a lot of
- 14:49Speaker 4: people are off for a week after today.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Lynden in Old Hickory, what do you have planned?
- 14:55Speaker 1: Diy?
- 14:56Speaker 5: Wow? Is this your first t.
- 15:00Speaker 8: And it's my zero day?
- 15:02Speaker 5: And I'm waving at midnight?
- 15:04Speaker 2: That's so fine?
- 15:05Speaker 3: What's a zero day?
- 15:07Speaker 5: No like the count down?
- 15:12Speaker 1: Do?
- 15:12Speaker 5: I love that? That is so exciting, Lindon. What is
- 15:16Speaker 5: your favorite part about Disney?
- 15:19Speaker 6: The same pop?
- 15:22Speaker 5: That's gonna be so much fun. We hope you have
- 15:24Speaker 5: the greatest time at Disney for your spring break.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Thank you, Hey, Linden, make sure you say thank you
- 15:29Speaker 4: to mommy and daddy and whoever's taking you down there,
- 15:32Speaker 4: because it's a real privilege to.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Get a big, old, huge.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Bye.
- 15:44Speaker 3: So cute my zero day. I think I'm going to
- 15:46Speaker 3: adopt that.
- 15:47Speaker 8: I like that.
- 15:48Speaker 5: I was very confused too. I'm glad that somebody asked
- 15:50Speaker 5: if I was about to I'm like, what is a
- 15:51Speaker 5: zero day? Is this I'm just not aware of? But
- 15:55Speaker 5: that makes so much sense?
- 15:56Speaker 4: Yeah, day zero zero Moore, sleep still Disney, Oh By
- 15:59Speaker 4: the way. I was always confused about Disneyland disney World,
- 16:02Speaker 4: which one was where? And then I recently heard disney
- 16:05Speaker 4: Land has La in it and disney World has O. R. L.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Orlando in it.
- 16:11Speaker 5: That's a good way to differentiate.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Thanks for the lift.
- 16:14Speaker 3: We've got John m'laney tickets. Next with the Game of
- 16:16Speaker 3: the Day.
- 16:17Speaker 8: Yeah, Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning.
- 16:22Speaker 5: You're playing Name that tune for Kevin Mano's Game of
- 16:25Speaker 5: the Day on one O seven five the River, presented
- 16:27Speaker 5: by Genesis Diamonds. This isn't tune like music. Normally we
- 16:31Speaker 5: do name that tune for music. This is named that
- 16:33Speaker 5: cartoon for tickets to see John mulaney at the Ryeman
- 16:36Speaker 5: on June thirteenth.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Name that t o oh, and Gabriel in Inglewood is
- 16:40Speaker 3: on the line.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Happy Friday, buddy.
- 16:43Speaker 3: You got any cool weekend or spring break plans.
- 16:46Speaker 6: We're doing a big like big rotating breakfast starting tomorrow
- 16:50Speaker 6: with our friends.
- 16:50Speaker 4: So once a month we're gonna make breakfast.
- 16:53Speaker 2: That lounds so fine.
- 16:54Speaker 5: That is a door.
- 16:55Speaker 2: How we get on this, Oh, gos, just come over.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Well let's see how this game goes. First, you might
- 17:02Speaker 4: hate us here in a couple of minutes. You got
- 17:04Speaker 4: to name two out of three of these cartoon characters
- 17:06Speaker 4: for the John Mulaney tickets.
- 17:07Speaker 3: All right, Gabriel, your game starts right now. She is
- 17:14Speaker 3: blue and yellow. She struggles with her short term memory.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Name that tune a story from finding.
- 17:27Speaker 5: On the board.
- 17:28Speaker 3: You got this, you win.
- 17:30Speaker 4: He is a big cat that wears a red bandana.
- 17:34Speaker 3: He has a deep connection to breakfast.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Speaking of your rotating breakfast, John Mullaney, dang.
- 17:44Speaker 5: Mano, Gabriel, congratulations, you're seeing John Mullaney at the rhyman.
- 17:53Speaker 4: Also, I could definitely shut out my wife got the person.
- 17:56Speaker 3: With good job, wipey.
- 17:58Speaker 8: We love that.
- 18:00Speaker 5: Yes, we love when you guys work together.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Great job, guys, Thank you for calling, thank you for listening,
- 18:05Speaker 4: have a great rotating breakfast.
- 18:06Speaker 3: And yeah, let's exchange information.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Okay, three things you need to know?
- 18:12Speaker 4: All right, friends, here we go, just after eight o'clock
- 18:14Speaker 4: on this Friday morning.
- 18:16Speaker 3: So happy it's Friday. Ricky's got those three things.
- 18:19Speaker 5: The first song from Anne Hathaway's pop star horror film
- 18:22Speaker 5: has been released. So The song is called Burial, and
- 18:25Speaker 5: it's the first single from her upcoming psychological thriller mother
- 18:28Speaker 5: Mary that she's going to be a part of. It
- 18:30Speaker 5: was written by Charlie XCX, George Daniel Jack Antonov and
- 18:33Speaker 5: Anna Hathaway herself, so it very much like you listen
- 18:37Speaker 5: to it and you can hear this is an actual
- 18:40Speaker 5: pop hit. Here's a clip of it.
- 18:41Speaker 1: This is this is your.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Okay all those people that wrote it.
- 18:56Speaker 5: This is just a clip. It's just a clip. Obviously
- 19:00Speaker 5: you can hear the Charlie XDX influence there because it's
- 19:04Speaker 5: very like kind of dance pop vibes that are happening.
- 19:09Speaker 5: Like I said, only a clip, but they have released
- 19:11Speaker 5: a short teaser video that shows her performing the song
- 19:14Speaker 5: in the movie, It's all about a pop star that's
- 19:17Speaker 5: reconnecting with an estrange best friend before doing a big
- 19:21Speaker 5: comeback performance. Movie hits theaters for a limited run in
- 19:24Speaker 5: April for April to seventeenth, and then you can watch
- 19:28Speaker 5: it everywhere. April twenty fourth, Present Tents has reopened in
- 19:32Speaker 5: a new location starting today. The restaurant is known for
- 19:36Speaker 5: Japanese inspired small plates and natural wines. They relocated from
- 19:40Speaker 5: Heart Street, so now you can find them across from Pestise.
- 19:43Speaker 5: So go celebrate the beginning of Spring break or the
- 19:47Speaker 5: beginning of the weekend and go to Present tense and
- 19:51Speaker 5: check them out if you haven't yet. We're all about
- 19:53Speaker 5: checking out new places. We obviously consistently recommend new places
- 19:57Speaker 5: for you to check out. And even though this one
- 19:59Speaker 5: is instant new, oh, necessarily it's in a new spot
- 20:01Speaker 5: so you can see exactly what it looks like. And Kevin,
- 20:03Speaker 5: this is specifically for you, since your whole family is
- 20:07Speaker 5: vegetarians and you love popcorn so much. Well, yes, okay, scientists,
- 20:13Speaker 5: keep going, scientist, this is not the time, Kevin. Scientists
- 20:17Speaker 5: in China and Australia have developed a tomato that smells
- 20:21Speaker 5: like popcorn. So these popcorn s and and tomatoes they grow,
- 20:25Speaker 5: taste and look like a typical tomato, but they just
- 20:27Speaker 5: smell like buttery popcorn. Apparently the goal here is that
- 20:31Speaker 5: tomatoes lose their aroma and flavor during a transportation and
- 20:35Speaker 5: storage process, so they want to like genetically modify them
- 20:39Speaker 5: so that they stay like smelly in a good way
- 20:43Speaker 5: by the time you get them. But it's kind of
- 20:45Speaker 5: turned into smelling like buttery popcorn instead.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I'm curious.
- 20:49Speaker 5: You can have them sniff it and pretend like they're
- 20:51Speaker 5: eating popcorn. You're trying to get them not eat as
- 20:53Speaker 5: much popcorn. The cake.
- 20:54Speaker 4: My wife and my kids they eat popcorn every single night,
- 20:56Speaker 4: and I feel like that's too much popcorn.
- 20:58Speaker 5: I'm Ricki Sancho's and those are the three things you
- 21:00Speaker 5: need to know.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Thank you so much, Ricky.
- 21:02Speaker 4: You thought we'd have flying cars in twenty twenty six,
- 21:04Speaker 4: but no, we have popcorn scented to Maato on the.
- 21:08Speaker 8: River, Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning time for
- 21:11Speaker 8: the leftovers.
- 21:12Speaker 3: We do it on Fridays.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Unused topics from the week, things that we just didn't
- 21:16Speaker 4: have time for on the show.
- 21:18Speaker 3: We cram them in here.
- 21:19Speaker 4: We each get thirty seconds, and Ricky Sanchez is gonna
- 21:21Speaker 4: kick it off.
- 21:22Speaker 5: There's something about the way that you just said cram
- 21:24Speaker 5: them in here that really made me uncoming, and I
- 21:27Speaker 5: need you to know that before I start. But I'm
- 21:29Speaker 5: gonna tell you Yelp's top wedding trends for twenty twenty six. Okay,
- 21:33Speaker 5: a new report from Yelp finds that couples marrying this
- 21:36Speaker 5: year are really ditching traditions. I know this has been
- 21:39Speaker 5: a thing that's kind of been happening for a few years,
- 21:42Speaker 5: but they're embracing personal style, so instead of plated dinners
- 21:46Speaker 5: like chicken or fish, they're sticking to like street food
- 21:49Speaker 5: carts and build your own taco bars. They show that
- 21:53Speaker 5: sustainability is super in a Searches for lab grown engagement
- 21:57Speaker 5: rings are up four hundred and thirty six percent, and
- 22:00Speaker 5: vintage wedding dresses those searches have increased forty one percent.
- 22:04Speaker 5: So people are looking for personal style while staying sustainable
- 22:08Speaker 5: and kind of just not sticking to what we know
- 22:10Speaker 5: happens with wedding trends, which honestly makes me very happy.
- 22:14Speaker 5: It is probably a lot cheaper, sure.
- 22:16Speaker 3: We love budget, probably a big part of it, all right.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Who wants to go next, Zachary, I'll go so.
- 22:21Speaker 7: Unclaimed Baggage revealed the top fines left behind in luggage
- 22:25Speaker 7: and just an FII. There is an unclaimed baggage store
- 22:28Speaker 7: only two hours away from Natal.
- 22:29Speaker 3: I want to go out.
- 22:30Speaker 2: It's really cool. It's in Scottsboro, Alabama.
- 22:33Speaker 7: But apparently the thing at the very top of the
- 22:35Speaker 7: list is T shirts. More specifically, men's T shirts were
- 22:39Speaker 7: found most frequently, followed by pants and.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Then jewelry and then mobile phones.
- 22:44Speaker 7: The most expensive thing that was found was a ninety
- 22:47Speaker 7: nine point nine to nine percent pure gold bar.
- 22:51Speaker 1: What.
- 22:52Speaker 8: Yes.
- 22:52Speaker 3: And then there was a lot of jewelry.
- 22:54Speaker 7: Left behind, like forty three thousand dollars worth, and then, Ricky,
- 22:56Speaker 7: you'd be very sad about this.
- 22:58Speaker 2: There were also a lot of La boo boos left.
- 23:00Speaker 7: Yeah, so you want to go to the Unclaimed backing store.
- 23:02Speaker 7: You can get some little boo boo's there.
- 23:04Speaker 5: I can't believe that people love their boo boo's behind
- 23:06Speaker 5: the store.
- 23:07Speaker 3: You just you go buy people's old stuff.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:10Speaker 8: Wow.
- 23:10Speaker 5: I don't know what's in there though, right, isn't it
- 23:13Speaker 5: like all package So.
- 23:14Speaker 2: It's like kind of like Goodwill?
- 23:15Speaker 5: Oh, it's up the suitcase and you know what I
- 23:19Speaker 5: was thinking about. There's like a UPS store or something like.
- 23:21Speaker 2: That where you can Amazon.
- 23:22Speaker 5: Yeah, you get like all of the packages that are
- 23:24Speaker 5: still packaged. You don't know what's inside, but you can
- 23:26Speaker 5: buy it for super cheap.
- 23:27Speaker 3: This is also fascinating to me. I want to go
- 23:29Speaker 3: to all these.
- 23:29Speaker 5: Places like sign me up for everywhere? All right, Ken,
- 23:33Speaker 5: what do you got?
- 23:34Speaker 4: Thirty seconds hung the list? I just really personal anecdote here.
- 23:37Speaker 4: I want to ask you guys Am I a bad
- 23:38Speaker 4: person for not one? I got the jury duty summons
- 23:41Speaker 4: in the mail and I don't want to go. I
- 23:43Speaker 4: want to get dismissed. Am I a bad person? Is
- 23:45Speaker 4: that my civic duty to have to do it?
- 23:47Speaker 5: Yes? I don't think it makes you a bad person.
- 23:49Speaker 5: Doesn't everybody duty?
- 23:51Speaker 1: Who?
- 23:51Speaker 2: I feel like it would be so fun.
- 23:53Speaker 5: It depends on the case.
- 23:54Speaker 7: You get the day off, they pay you, you get
- 23:57Speaker 7: free lunch. I feel like you should do it if you're.
- 23:59Speaker 3: A civic I looked into it. These are the reasons
- 24:02Speaker 3: that people will get it dismissed.
- 24:05Speaker 4: Caregiver responsibilities, if you have plan travel, if it's going
- 24:08Speaker 4: to cause you financial issues like you can't afford to
- 24:11Speaker 4: miss work, or medical reasons.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Those are the main reasons people.
- 24:14Speaker 5: You don't have any of that.
- 24:15Speaker 3: I don't check any of those bobs.
- 24:16Speaker 5: You gotta do it, keV. Sorry, all right, I can't
- 24:20Speaker 5: wait to hear all about it.
- 24:22Speaker 3: I might get dismissed. As a member of the media,
- 24:24Speaker 3: I might get dismissed. I'm gonna kind of go with
- 24:26Speaker 3: that's true.
- 24:27Speaker 5: We'll see do we get dismissed because we're part.
- 24:29Speaker 7: Of media Sometimes, especially if it's like a high profile
- 24:32Speaker 7: case that you've heard about, and you know things about
- 24:35Speaker 7: you can get dismissed.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll see. I'll keep you guys posted. There we go.
- 24:38Speaker 3: That concludes the leftover.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Man in the morning on.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Time for the Daily Double Tap. I've been wanting to
- 24:47Speaker 4: play this one for a while. Ricky and Zach are
- 24:49Speaker 4: finally giving me the green light.
- 24:51Speaker 5: I just I like it, Kevin. I think it was
- 24:54Speaker 5: your enthusiasm behind it that kind of made us a
- 24:57Speaker 5: little worried.
- 24:58Speaker 3: I've wondered about this forever.
- 25:01Speaker 5: You're a little too into this.
- 25:03Speaker 4: And so when I stumbled across it on Instagram, it
- 25:07Speaker 4: was a real Eureka moment.
- 25:08Speaker 3: I'm not the only one having the thought out there.
- 25:10Speaker 3: So here we go today's Daily Double Tap.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Is it pet smart or pets smart?
- 25:16Speaker 3: Are you saying that pets are smart?
- 25:19Speaker 5: Or are you saying you're a mark for pets? Why?
- 25:34Speaker 4: I know, like aggressive music isn't for everybody, but that
- 25:37Speaker 4: question alone, the rage just flows through me.
- 25:40Speaker 5: I will tell you that the part that hits me
- 25:43Speaker 5: is when he says I need answers. Yeah, screaming it
- 25:46Speaker 5: because there's so many other things that I think about that.
- 25:49Speaker 5: I'm like, I need answers for this. Why is it
- 25:52Speaker 5: like this that's smart or pet smart? I mean, I
- 25:55Speaker 5: feel like if you google it, it'll tell you.
- 25:57Speaker 3: You're probably right.
- 25:58Speaker 4: I'd probably rather just be angry, you know what I mean,
- 26:02Speaker 4: you just.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Want to be angry. It says the official name is
- 26:05Speaker 5: pet Smart.
- 26:06Speaker 4: Okay, I just looked it up too, and you know what,
- 26:08Speaker 4: it's probably pretty obvious because of the font because pet
- 26:11Speaker 4: is red and smart is blue, so it kind of
- 26:13Speaker 4: differentiates two different words there.
- 26:15Speaker 5: It did say, though, that they rebranded in two thousand
- 26:18Speaker 5: and five to emphasize okay, smart parts because it used
- 26:22Speaker 5: to be formatted differently the pet smart like, and it
- 26:25Speaker 5: used to be a little more.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Confusing, for it was just all one color.
- 26:27Speaker 5: And yet here we are it's still confusing.
- 26:29Speaker 3: For it's still very confusing.
- 26:33Speaker 8: Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the Morning
