Transcript
- 0:00Eric: This podcast was created by fans or fans and is not affiliated with or sponsored by Hallmark or the Hallmark channel.
- 0:10Jaycie: This is Eric and this is Sydney.
- 0:14Eric: And this is Hallmark Mysteries and more.
- 0:17Eric: Okay, today is an exciting day in the world of Hallmark Mysteries and more.
- 0:26Eric: It's like sort of phase two.
- 0:29Eric: We have Jaycie Doton with us, who was our very, very first interview and before dying for chocolate, and now we have fatal vows coming out and we are very, very lucky to have JC again.
- 0:42Eric: Hello Jaycie, how are you doing?
- 0:45Jaycie: I'm good.
- 0:45Jaycie: How are you?
- 0:45Jaycie: I'm so happy to be back.
- 0:47Eric: Yes, and unfortunately, as we just talked about Sydney, can't make it today, but hopefully the next Curious Caterer comes out, she will be ready to go Well.
- 0:59Eric: No, you're green up for two more, right.
- 1:01Jaycie: Oh, I meant the fingers crossed that she'll be able to come out.
- 1:04Eric: Yes, yes, so, okay.
- 1:06Eric: So why don't we just hop right into it and say so, how does it feel to be back as Marla again?
- 1:14Jaycie: Oh my gosh, I just love this character so much.
- 1:16Jaycie: She's just so much fun, and it was great we got some different writers on fatal vows so we got to see a different take on Marla a little bit with some of the writing, which was really, really fun.
- 1:28Jaycie: I can't reveal too much because I don't want any spoilers, but this is going to be a.
- 1:36Jaycie: I think this is my favorite one so far.
- 1:38Eric: Really.
- 1:39Jaycie: Yeah.
- 1:40Eric: Okay, all right, so a little bit.
- 1:42Eric: And we talked to John Christian Plummer, who wrote the first two, last week, and he said one of the reasons why he wasn't able to write this one was because it was back to back with grilling season.
- 1:55Eric: So did you actually film it like right away?
- 2:00Jaycie: No, we did not block shoot that no we definitely had two different filming, so it must have been back to back for maybe a different film of his.
- 2:08Jaycie: Yeah, he's one of my favorite writers.
- 2:10Jaycie: I just absolutely love, love speaking his words.
- 2:14Jaycie: But yeah, no, we shot them separately, which is always fun, because then we get to see everybody like twice a year rather than once a year, right?
- 2:24Eric: Yeah, so when did you, when did you film this one then?
- 2:27Jaycie: Oh gosh, see, now you're testing me.
- 2:30Eric: Yes, you will be graded at the end.
- 2:32Eric: There's a.
- 2:32Eric: There's a quiz.
- 2:35Jaycie: I want to say it was sometime at the beginning of this year, because we had some crazy snowstorms and things.
- 2:40Jaycie: So yeah, I want to say it was like towards the beginning of this year.
- 2:43Jaycie: But you know, since COVID and everything and now the strike that we're going through, time has just become very elusive to me.
- 2:50Jaycie: So don't quote me on that one, but yeah, Okay.
- 2:55Eric: So as we talked about is the characters.
- 2:58Eric: We don't get to talk about the characters here.
- 3:01Eric: This is your third one and when you went from the first one to the second one, there's a huge jump, I think, just in the relationships, the chemistry.
- 3:12Eric: We talked about it before we got to see it, but then, when we actually got to see the movie, it really did come to fruition.
- 3:19Eric: So what is it like just now, with you and Nikki being your third one?
- 3:26Eric: Because the chemistry, like I said, one of our favorite things we like was Marla and Goldie and just the way you guys interacted in the second one, it was just fantastic.
- 3:35Eric: Just the humor, just the comfort, everything.
- 3:39Eric: So how is it when we go into the third one?
- 3:41Eric: Because now you guys are like old school, you know it's nothing.
- 3:45Jaycie: We're old school, you know it's hard not to have a just a wonderful relationship with Nikki.
- 3:54Jaycie: She's just one of those people that makes everyone feel like you've known her for decades, even if it's the first time you've met her.
- 4:01Jaycie: So I think a lot of that just has to do with Nikki's, just her, her natural personality, and then the way that the characters were written and I think just we just I don't know, we just have a natural, you know, good chemistry, good friendship, and it's only getting stronger as we get to know each other better in our personal lives.
- 4:21Jaycie: And yeah, it's, it's been, yeah, it's been a lot of fun.
- 4:25Jaycie: So I think, I think it's gonna, I think it's gonna deepen even more than you saw in the second.
- 4:31Eric: Okay, so you did.
- 4:32Eric: You did mention how you had the different writers, for this one Was there and obviously, like he said, there's a little bit different feel because different people have a different approach.
- 4:41Eric: What was there like anything really substantial that you could talk about, like like is Marla and Goldie, like are they different really, or is it kind of the same thing, just a little bit different?
- 4:52Eric: Take and like, how was it different?
- 4:58Jaycie: You know, I think I think the only, the only reason I can tell there's a slight difference is because I've read the scripts and I've kind of just had that first look at them.
- 5:07Jaycie: But once, once the actors, just in general, once actors get a hold of it, they do make it their own, especially when you're going into a second or a third film with the same character.
- 5:16Jaycie: You kind of already have a handle on that.
- 5:17Jaycie: So I don't think there will be any differences that the audience will notice.
- 5:21Jaycie: We, we kind of took all of it, added all of our little you know spice and stuff on top of it.
- 5:25Jaycie: But you can you know when, when it's when the ideas are coming from a different brain.
- 5:30Jaycie: Obviously you'll see see some slight differences.
- 5:32Jaycie: But I think it's more so for me in my preparation for the character rather than what you'll see on screen.
- 5:38Eric: Okay, so all of a sudden you're not going to have Marla is like a very serious person.
- 5:45Jaycie: I don't think Marla, by the, by the book.
- 5:47Eric: Marla, who's yelling at Goldie for breaking rules?
- 5:50Jaycie: No, I don't think Marla could ever be serious, to be really honest, and I think even if they wrote it, if someone who ever decided to ever wrote Marla as serious, I would somehow find a way to make a little bit of humor go in there.
- 6:06Eric: So when we talked before grilling season, you really didn't say how absolutely hilarious some of these scenes were going to be.
- 6:16Eric: You said that oh yeah, there is some, you know humor, but Marla was just stinkin hilarious and you even got to sing in that one, I know.
- 6:26Eric: So now you're in the third Did they give you like a lot of since you guys you know, do you know these characters was a lot more leeway now in your what you guys bring to the characters, or is it a pretty still by the script?
- 6:42Jaycie: You know, I think it just depends.
- 6:43Jaycie: We obviously tried to honor, honor the script and honor the words.
- 6:47Jaycie: Sometimes, just in the moment, things will come out and you'll just kind of play with things.
- 6:50Jaycie: Maybe you'll play with the button on the end of the scene.
- 6:53Jaycie: But but, no, we pretty pretty much to the script on this one, I think I remember correctly.
- 7:00Eric: Okay, yeah, like you said, we can't remember when it was so much happened.
- 7:04Eric: So that's all right.
- 7:06Eric: All right, so give us a little bit of.
- 7:11Eric: You know we're going into it.
- 7:13Eric: What's something that maybe we could expect?
- 7:15Eric: You can't give us any of the you know the, the spoilers, but what can we expect now in the third installment of?
- 7:26Jaycie: I think I mean you've seen the trailer, I'm sure which how do they leave you out of it?
- 7:31Eric: I?
- 7:31Eric: I think you need to talk to your agent and you need to go ahead and say something is wrong here because, no, they left the star out.
- 7:40Eric: How can they?
- 7:41Jaycie: know.
- 7:41Jaycie: No, no, they, I think, because Marla is is such a like a comedic relief in it that to put any of her stuff in the trailer would have I think it would have ruined it.
- 7:53Jaycie: To be really honest, I think that they did a perfect job with what they chose to kind of tease everybody with, because it really is like twist on what's happening, because you know, they're obviously trying to blame it on Tom.
- 8:06Jaycie: So it's all about oh, I don't want to ruin it, so I'm afraid to say too much, but, but no, I think that everything that you see in the trailer is exactly what you need to know before you see it.
- 8:16Jaycie: I don't think there's anything else that I can tell you without spoiling it, but it's a it's a cool one.
- 8:23Jaycie: It's a very, very cool one.
- 8:25Eric: So you said Marla is a little comic relief in this, so we can still, and obviously you had Mason who had a lot of humor in there, but Goldie herself, even without Marla's, you know shenanigans was really funny, and in the last one.
- 8:43Eric: So with this one still like it has it.
- 8:46Eric: But oh yeah because it looks far more serious in the trailer, with Tom being, you know, accused with this.
- 8:53Eric: Yeah, I think coming in.
- 8:57Jaycie: I would say the tone of this one is is maybe a bit darker but more serious, because we are seeing our lead being accused and you know that.
- 9:06Jaycie: So that does kind of take it down down that path a little bit.
- 9:08Jaycie: But but no, marla's just this as sassy with her little quips, coming in and adding her little you know ideas to things and you know that.
- 9:16Jaycie: Sassy, the funky.
- 9:19Eric: When we talk to to john, I did bring up the fact of how, in the first one, dying for chocolate, marla's going around being a florist, and the second one, she has nothing to do with the flowers and she's just the catering.
- 9:32Eric: You know.
- 9:33Eric: I would love to know what he said about that Well she just sort of evolved her catering business grew so much that she, marla, didn't, you know, need to do all that.
- 9:43Eric: So is Marla going to have any flowers in Petal vows, or is that sort of a retired florist?
- 9:51Jaycie: Well, we, we saw Marla's cafe in the second.
- 9:55Jaycie: Yes, so, so she's still.
- 9:57Jaycie: She still has her cafe, but it's it's a cafe, and we also sell flowers.
- 10:04Eric: So Marla says she's coming.
- 10:06Eric: A little bit of everything.
- 10:07Jaycie: She's an entrepreneur and she's got lots of things she wants to accomplish, lots of things she wants to do.
- 10:12Jaycie: So she's you know she's segueing, but yeah, so the catering business was doing very well, so she did need to kind of come on and give Goldie a bit of a hand.
- 10:20Jaycie: Yeah, that's funny.
- 10:23Jaycie: That's funny that you guys noticed that and that you talked to him about that, because we, when I got the second script for grilling season, I was like, oh, okay, I got a cafe now.
- 10:31Jaycie: Great, this is awesome.
- 10:33Jaycie: So we did kind of talk about it, how she's kind of like segue into helping, helping Goldie a bit more and but still kind of maintaining the the florist on the side.
- 10:42Eric: Okay.
- 10:42Eric: So one thing you didn't say as well was that you got you.
- 10:46Eric: We talked about the fact you're very talented singer, but you actually got to sing I did so and absolutely in a hilarious way to so, without ruining you know, to smaller, get to sing anymore.
- 11:03Jaycie: There is no singing in this one.
- 11:05Jaycie: I have pitched them an idea and I have no idea if this will ever happen, but I was like we need to get an episode because Nikki can sing Andrews a vocal like we all know the X girl.
- 11:16Jaycie: Exactly so I was like wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 11:20Eric: did you just say, Andrew can sing?
- 11:22Jaycie: Well, I think he can.
- 11:26Eric: We're gonna see.
- 11:27Jaycie: In my, in my idea, in my ideal world, one of these will have us doing like a karaoke scene or that was kind of my like running joke on the set.
- 11:37Jaycie: I was like like okay, I was like no, marla is saying we've established that.
- 11:40Jaycie: I was like would be hilarious if we all just like went to like a little you know karaoke bar one night and just had a bit of a moment.
- 11:46Jaycie: That would be a really fun scene to shoot.
- 11:49Eric: And then the hallmark universe would just lose its mind if they saw Nikki actually singing.
- 11:56Eric: Oh yeah, because obviously she's one of the most beloved Homer.
- 12:01Eric: You know actresses out there, and rightfully so.
- 12:05Eric: Yeah, see her sing.
- 12:06Eric: I think that was.
- 12:07Eric: And then Andrew, even if he couldn't sing, attempting to sing which would be funny.
- 12:14Jaycie: I think that would also do it.
- 12:15Jaycie: So I think your idea.
- 12:18Eric: Your idea is solid gold.
- 12:19Eric: Well, thank you, I'll have to do it.
- 12:22Jaycie: Pass it along to who I can, but I don't know how much power I have in that.
- 12:25Eric: I will use all my influence with the hallmark executives, to which I think is a little bit about 100% below yours, so, but I will do my part.
- 12:35Jaycie: You know, if we band together well, maybe we'll get it going.
- 12:39Eric: Well, I do have.
- 12:40Eric: Why I can't say influence.
- 12:42Eric: But I do talk to John quite a bit.
- 12:44Eric: I am going to tell him he's got to put the karaoke.
- 12:48Jaycie: All right, I'll shoot him a message as well.
- 12:50Jaycie: We'll see what happens.
- 12:53Eric: And he's got.
- 12:53Eric: So he just had his mystery island that aired last Friday.
- 12:57Eric: I don't know if it was up there in Canada or not, but I haven't seen.
- 13:01Jaycie: I've been traveling and you can see background.
- 13:03Jaycie: I'm not at my at my usual spot.
- 13:05Eric: So that's a real background.
- 13:07Jaycie: Yeah, this is.
- 13:08Jaycie: This is a little Airbnb we're staying in for a bit.
- 13:10Jaycie: I thought you're doing it.
- 13:12Eric: so, like you, you've shown off your place a lot in Instagram, which is you've done a really good job with that.
- 13:18Jaycie: I thought, you had like a little, you know, ai background to look oh no, this is a little Airbnb and that that gentleman that run that just has incredible taste and interior design and it's all just old antiques and sort of that industrial farmhouse kind of feel.
- 13:35Jaycie: But it feels like.
- 13:36Jaycie: I feel like I'm going to move.
- 13:36Jaycie: I feel like I'm on a movie set right now the way he's curated everything.
- 13:39Jaycie: It's quite beautiful, so that is awesome.
- 13:42Jaycie: So, but, that being said, I've been traveling, haven't really had time to like sit in front of the TV, so I still have to catch up on that one.
- 13:47Eric: But but in it he did do quite a bit of humor, and then we just talked about last year's cater.
- 13:54Eric: So he definitely likes doing some humor.
- 13:56Eric: So I am going to definitely yeah, I love his style.
- 13:59Eric: So okay, All right.
- 14:02Eric: So here's where we're thinking.
- 14:06Eric: We're needing, we need Marlott.
- 14:08Eric: Have a love interest.
- 14:09Eric: Oh not Mason either.
- 14:13Jaycie: Well, he's a bit young.
- 14:14Jaycie: I think that would be a bit yeah.
- 14:16Eric: Well, marla sassy, so I don't know.
- 14:20Jaycie: I don't know.
- 14:20Jaycie: Hold on, I'd be down for it.
- 14:23Eric: You're like he's not that much younger than I'm not saying if you're an edge, he just doesn't seem like he's that young.
- 14:30Eric: He's like 30 years.
- 14:35Jaycie: I don't want to out him.
- 14:36Jaycie: I think he might be younger than that.
- 14:39Eric: He's 48.
- 14:40Jaycie: No, I think that honestly, I think just from a, from a lot line perspective.
- 14:47Eric: I don't think that, having you know regardless, he's not a good fit for you.
- 14:51Eric: Okay, I should say for Marla.
- 14:53Jaycie: If you, if you don't approve, then we'll never do it.
- 14:56Eric: But we do need.
- 14:57Eric: We do need a love interest for Marla.
- 15:00Jaycie: So are you okay with that?
- 15:01Jaycie: I agree, I think that that would be so fun.
- 15:05Eric: Actually you're, you're, you're kind of like acting school buddies with Madison Smith right.
- 15:12Jaycie: Oh yes, yeah, Actually, he was one of my very first um scene partners when I moved to Canada.
- 15:17Eric: Yeah, so he's really good at going ahead and being the boyfriend who goes ahead and kills people.
- 15:22Jaycie: So that's where we can go with.
- 15:25Eric: We can have him become your like love interest and he turns out to be like the killer.
- 15:31Jaycie: Oh my gosh, that would be so fun, okay, well, if that ends up happening, you can never air this podcast because we've just ruined it.
- 15:38Eric: Yes, and in curious cater for when Austin Madison's in it, we're like uh, nevermind, okay, yeah.
- 15:47Eric: Well, if anyone listens to this and this happens.
- 15:50Eric: Just forget it ever happened.
- 15:52Jaycie: Well, just just you manifested it.
- 15:53Eric: then if that's what happens, Okay, but I assume you'd be okay with uh having Marla, because I think Marla being being that way too would just be one.
- 16:04Eric: Obviously there's the romance thing, whatever, but I think the way you do that character with the humor would just the boyfriend, would just I feel for him because she would just like own that relationship in such a way.
- 16:17Jaycie: Yeah, she would definitely be the uh, the strong headed one, I think.
- 16:21Jaycie: Yes, it would be interesting to see that happen, though, so I'm thinking about how I would play that if that was to be the case.
- 16:30Jaycie: So, yeah, you got my brain going now.
- 16:33Eric: So I went, but we went back and we did a, so, getting ready for this one, we um did a review of dying for chocolate and it just when I rewatched again, I just remembered those two scenes of yours that just made me fall in love with, uh, with Marla, which was first, when you're in the very beginning, when we first see you and you're doing your little thing with the I don't know the cookies or whatever.
- 16:56Jaycie: The sugar cookie.
- 16:57Eric: Yeah, yeah, Love that scene.
- 16:59Eric: And then the one when, when, uh, Tom comes to the door and you're just given that like ooh, ooh thing.
- 17:06Jaycie: Those are two of my favorite scenes of that entire movie, so that's why I think Thank you Honestly.
- 17:10Jaycie: I think those were my two favorite to shoot, just because I got to just be my weird, funny self.
- 17:17Eric: So maybe, maybe your love interest will be more sugar cookies.
- 17:19Eric: I don't know.
- 17:20Jaycie: Oh hey, listen, I you know I have no problem being on a movie set where it's all about the food, because we get to eat constantly.
- 17:27Jaycie: So I'm just I would I would gladly date a sugar cookie.
- 17:31Eric: But those that food that you guys are doing throughout your all catering, that's not like real edible food, that's like movie food, right.
- 17:38Jaycie: Some of it is, some of it's edible.
- 17:39Jaycie: Yeah, it kind of just depends, um.
- 17:42Jaycie: You know, if it's going to be sitting out all day, if it needs to keep looking fresh, sometimes they'll use prop food, um, but obviously, if we have to eat it, it's been, it's been cooked by our, our, our prop masters, or they'll find a bakery to bring stuff in, um.
- 17:56Jaycie: So, yeah, it's.
- 17:57Jaycie: It's kind of a mixture of both.
- 17:58Eric: Yeah, Well, anybody who follows you on Instagram for more than five minutes knows you definitely do not mind your eating.
- 18:06Jaycie: Oh, no, no, no no.
- 18:08Eric: So are you like sneaking any other things between takes at all.
- 18:12Jaycie: You know I'm.
- 18:13Jaycie: Should I reveal this?
- 18:15Jaycie: Yes, obviously.
- 18:16Jaycie: Oh my gosh, those, those sugar cookies.
- 18:18Jaycie: I can't tell you how many of those I ate and they, honestly, were the best sugar cookies I've ever had.
- 18:22Jaycie: I like had them send me the recipe because I was like I have to make it.
- 18:25Eric: They didn't just run down to the grocery store and get the box of them.
- 18:28Jaycie: No, no, no, they made them because, um, they'll, they they'll obviously ask everybody about allergies and things, so they want to make sure that everyone is is safe and has everything that their dietary needs um, uh, met.
- 18:38Jaycie: So, um, typically, they'll, they'll actually make everything for for the film and the edible stuff at least.
- 18:44Jaycie: Yeah.
- 18:44Eric: Okay, all right, so do you?
- 18:46Eric: Did you guys have the same uh costume designer on this one as you had previously?
- 18:52Jaycie: Uh no, no, Jessica, we had a new new costumes, this one Okay.
- 18:55Eric: Cause the second one in uh, growing season.
- 18:59Eric: You guys all looked so darn good.
- 19:02Eric: To be honest, I probably looked good in the first one too, but I just remember the second one, like even the catering, like your little cook, things were great and I, they got them all embroidered and so I was hoping that, uh, you guys keep keep that uh style going we still have the jackets.
- 19:20Jaycie: Yeah, those are kind of the the catering uniform, I think that um those have been established, I assume we'll keep those, but we we do still have those.
- 19:28Jaycie: Um, but, yeah, I um it's interesting when you get um different wardrobe too, cause it kind of helps evolve the character as well and you kind of collaborate with them, knowing what you know about the previous film and then kind of what they want to put their stamp on it as well.
- 19:40Jaycie: So it is always fun to kind of switch things up every now and then.
- 19:43Jaycie: But she did a great job in this film.
- 19:44Jaycie: I really loved all of my wardrobe.
- 19:46Jaycie: Okay, I actually took some of it home so we, we get in that a little later too, All right Um all right.
- 19:54Eric: So is there any like really good behind the scenes story that you can share, or like a hilarious blooper from this one?
- 20:02Jaycie: I know once again it's a little ways back, but Well, I'm trying, the one that I'm thinking of will ruin something, so maybe we can talk about it and like after you've seen it and then when we talk again in the future, okay, I'm scared to death, of ruining anything.
- 20:20Eric: You definitely are in the same uh acting thing as Madison Cause, when when I talked to him before the Aurora T-Guard he had the same exact one.
- 20:29Eric: He's like, oh, I've got the best one ever, but I can't tell you.
- 20:32Jaycie: Yeah, it's fine.
- 20:33Eric: Thanks Madison.
- 20:35Jaycie: You know, when you shoot things so like uh, like such a long time ago, and then you try to talk about it like months later and you then you know there are spoilers, it's kind of like oh gosh, you have to rack your brain like as you're talking, like is this going to ruin anything?
- 20:49Jaycie: Is this going to ruin anything, cause it's such a good, it's such a good film.
- 20:53Jaycie: I just don't want to, you know, spoil it for anybody.
- 20:57Eric: Okay, so being the third, I'll uh, just how does it feel just to be in this thing?
- 21:05Eric: Because it's from an actor it's nice to have, and knowing that there's two more, just like I don't wanna say a stability, but I guess it is a stability.
- 21:12Eric: But just knowing like you have this character, you know there's obviously because once you're a freelancer, essentially so you gotta love the paycheck thing.
- 21:22Eric: but then you also have a character who you can continue because, like with the rom-coms and things like that, you'd want it done or some of the other things.
- 21:29Eric: So how is it just having this role as Marla, now that you kind of own and know that there's a future to?
- 21:35Eric: You've had a past, you've got to build.
- 21:39Jaycie: It's exactly what we said.
- 21:40Jaycie: It's that stability, not only from just like having a job aspect, but really being able to sort of dig even deeper into a character and just the comfort level that I have with her.
- 21:53Jaycie: Now you don't normally get that, like you said, sometimes it's a one and done and typically these films are shot in approximately like 15 days or so.
- 22:02Jaycie: So you know you don't get a ton of time with those characters, but when you are doing a sequel you're doing multiple films you do get to spend more time and the fact that I love her so much it's just like, it's like hanging out with your best friend kind of thing.
- 22:15Jaycie: It's sort of that feel of like, oh, I get to go to set and like hang out with Marla, like, and I just I love embodying her, and so being able to do it over and over again is a gift, especially in a world where you typically don't get to do that.
- 22:29Jaycie: So I feel you know to sound cheesy I feel blessed, like honestly, cause it's not something that a lot of people get to do.
- 22:38Jaycie: So I'm very, very lucky, very thankful.
- 22:41Eric: Especially in the Hallmark universe.
- 22:42Eric: Cause that's one of the things people, a lot of people, the mystery fans, complain about, as Hallmark has been doing a lot of one and well, I shouldn't say one and done one.
- 22:52Eric: And question mark.
- 22:53Eric: Question mark.
- 22:54Eric: Question mark right.
- 22:56Eric: And then with Curious Cater and you know fairly short time.
- 23:00Eric: They've committed to five of them.
- 23:02Eric: You know produce three and two more.
- 23:04Eric: So yeah, so it is.
- 23:05Eric: It is a.
- 23:06Eric: I totally understand where you're coming from with that.
- 23:08Eric: So you've had this character for a little while in the series.
- 23:12Eric: Have you tried busting in and reading one of the books at all, or any of the books?
- 23:17Jaycie: Well, yeah, as soon as we got the first movie, obviously, and then the second one, and I know they're kind of veering a bit away from them, so I didn't read the last one.
- 23:30Jaycie: Just I didn't want to put anything else in my head, I wanted to stick to the story that I was given.
- 23:34Jaycie: But, yeah, typically if I, if I'm working on a project that's based on a book and they're following that story specifically, absolutely I read it.
- 23:43Eric: Okay, Well, cause the books are just well, I guess they're technically a cozy mystery, but they're really not Hallmark friend.
- 23:52Eric: They're more lifetime-ish with the-.
- 23:54Jaycie: Which is why some things were kind of adjusted.
- 23:57Eric: And yeah, exactly, I mean, when you have Goldie being permanently deformed by her abusive ex-husband, like Lachlan is yeah, we changed that around a little bit Does not seem like that kind of guy Speaking of Lachlan though you could have warned us about his kiss that was heard around the world from grueling season.
- 24:16Eric: That was the thing where, like he's a great guy I'm sure because he's been in like 150 Hallmark things he's just seems like the nicest guy.
- 24:25Eric: But that kiss was the cringiest thing of the year it was manufactured to be.
- 24:33Jaycie: that right, that was the moment and it was.
- 24:37Jaycie: It was I think it was meant to be that way to kind of show.
- 24:41Jaycie: Maybe he was just trying to show off a little bit in front of Goldie, maybe make her a little jealous, I don't know.
- 24:49Jaycie: I don't know what Lachlan's, you know intentions behind it for his character, but that's kind of how I read it, as Marlowe watching it Like what are you doing, buddy?
- 24:57Eric: We all were like what are you doing, buddy?
- 25:00Jaycie: I will say, though, like that was, that was one of the funniest days to shoot too, cause obviously we had to do it several times with a wide shot and the close in and all of that, so we just kept watching it happen over and over again, and it just got funnier and funnier each take, cause Lachlan is such a lovely person, and to see that juxtaposition between him and his character in that moment was really cool.
- 25:21Eric: Yes, all right, okay, let's see where we're going now, okay, so, oh, I guess that that was all my planned questions I had, so now we're going to go into the fun rapid fire.
- 25:33Eric: Whoa, I was going to ask you a quick question, not necessarily about the movie, but just a little bit more about Jay-Z all right, okay, go for it.
- 25:41Eric: Okay, so you have dual citizenship now, right?
- 25:45Jaycie: I do.
- 25:46Jaycie: I just got my Canadian citizenship in May, right May 29th, so I am officially a dual citizen.
- 25:52Jaycie: I have two passports.
- 25:53Jaycie: I feel like I'm in like the CIA or something where I'm like a spy with like wait.
- 25:58Eric: So when you travel, do you just like decide which one you want to stamp in?
- 26:03Jaycie: Yeah, so if I'm, if I'm traveling to the States, I'll use my American passport to get in, just cause it's easier at immigration and whatnot.
- 26:10Eric: But yeah, if you're going to if you're going to abroad, you're not using the American one.
- 26:18Jaycie: You're using the Canadian one where everyone likes a Canadian.
- 26:20Eric: So okay, I get it All right.
- 26:23Eric: So here's the big question, though.
- 26:24Eric: So, now that you're a Canuck, which Thanksgiving are you going to be celebrating?
- 26:29Jaycie: Oh, I always celebrate both because, as we said earlier, I'm obsessed with food, and so if I can have two Thanksgiving dinners within like a month of each other, why wouldn't I?
- 26:37Eric: Okay, wait, so is the Canadian.
- 26:39Eric: I should know this actually, since I did grow up.
- 26:41Eric: Well, I was only in Canada through third grade.
- 26:43Eric: But is it the?
- 26:45Eric: Do you still do like the same kind of food, or is it Canadian Thanksgiving different food?
- 26:50Eric: Well, we do, or are you like doing pizza?
- 26:54Jaycie: No, no, no, no, no.
- 26:55Jaycie: We typically go over to my in-laws place and they are incredible cooks.
- 26:59Jaycie: I mean it's just ridiculous of stuff that comes out of their kitchen.
- 27:02Jaycie: But no, we'll do like turkey and stuffing, and there are certain American specific things that we don't have like.
- 27:09Jaycie: Do you do like the green bean casserole with like the fried onions on top?
- 27:13Jaycie: They do not do that in Canada.
- 27:15Eric: I do not do that either.
- 27:17Eric: My wife makes a whole thing for herself.
- 27:19Eric: She's the only one who me and the kids just look at it with disdain.
- 27:22Eric: But she makes an entire huge casserole of it.
- 27:25Jaycie: So yeah, it's funny.
- 27:26Jaycie: I've never really been a fan, but it's a very Midwestern, some from Ohio, right, right, and that's a very Ohio thing, so yeah.
- 27:34Eric: Okay, all right, so number.
- 27:37Eric: Well, number one was just about being in, the Canadian Number two is.
- 27:40Eric: You're there, so we're talking pizza.
- 27:42Eric: So what do you order on your pizza?
- 27:45Jaycie: Ooh, my favorite pizza would be like a spicy Italian sausage and onion with cheese and tomato sauce.
- 27:56Eric: Okay, Now where do you stand on pineapple pizza?
- 28:02Jaycie: Oh, this is a contentious subject, very contentious.
- 28:05Eric: That's why I asked.
- 28:06Jaycie: It's one of those where I probably wouldn't order it myself, but if it was the only pizza available to me at the time, I would eat it.
- 28:16Eric: Okay, I'm a firm believer that if you like them, if you like the Hawaiian pizza, you're psychotic, unless you're actually from-.
- 28:24Jaycie: So I'm only half.
- 28:25Eric: I don't know if, like, it actually is a real Hawaiian thing or not.
- 28:29Eric: So maybe if it is, if you're Hawaiian, you eat it, it's fine, but if you're anyone else who eats, it.
- 28:34Eric: I think you're psychotic.
- 28:36Jaycie: So, okay, it's a big thing up in Canada, but yeah.
- 28:38Jaycie: I wouldn't order it, but I wouldn't say no if someone offered me his life.
- 28:42Eric: Okay, all right.
- 28:44Eric: So think about any role that's ever existed in a movie or a TV show, and they're going to reboot it.
- 28:50Eric: Who would you want to be like cast Like you're going to get to be it and you get to choose somebody.
- 28:58Jaycie: These are the hardest questions for me, because there's like a thousand things and off the cuff, I literally cannot think of anything, because now you put me on the spot, let's come back to that one.
- 29:09Jaycie: I'm sure I'll come up with something in between.
- 29:12Eric: Well, the other one.
- 29:13Eric: It's only getting harder.
- 29:15Jaycie: Oh no, okay Would you?
- 29:18Eric: ever do bangs.
- 29:18Eric: Would you ever do bangs?
- 29:22Jaycie: You know what's funny?
- 29:23Jaycie: I actually have fake like clip in bangs.
- 29:27Eric: Oh, I know I've seen that You're a little real in that, yeah.
- 29:31Jaycie: So the only reason I haven't actually cut them is because I have commitment issues and I feel like if I actually cut them they wouldn't look the same.
- 29:37Jaycie: So when I feel like having bangs, I just clip my little ones in.
- 29:40Jaycie: And actually I just did an episode of Nancy Drew not too long ago and they wanted the character to have bangs for a plot length.
- 29:48Eric: Is that where you had the fake ones?
- 29:50Jaycie: No, I've had those for years and I just kind of use them just to kind of switch up the look and whatever.
- 29:54Jaycie: But then they ended up using my own clip in ones because they match my hair perfectly for the actual characters, so it's fun.
- 30:01Eric: So actually getting the old scissors out and doing the bangs too risky for you.
- 30:06Jaycie: Oh, it's too risky, too risky, I'll do the curtain bang where it's just like.
- 30:09Jaycie: I have like these little pieces here, that kind of you know but a full on.
- 30:12Eric: That's what that's called.
- 30:14Jaycie: That is called a curtain bang.
- 30:15Eric: Yeah, you've got like the little layers here, because that's your yes, your hair.
- 30:20Eric: You do that and I've said that's like.
- 30:23Eric: That look is awesome.
- 30:25Eric: And then I forget which one.
- 30:26Eric: It just.
- 30:26Eric: They just had another character who just did it and I didn't know what to call it, so I call it like the whatever hair with us too dangly, yeah, curtain bangs, I know.
- 30:37Jaycie: Yeah, but no, I can't commit to full on like blunt, thick bangs of my own hair, but I will happily clip them in, okay.
- 30:43Eric: All right.
- 30:44Eric: So you mentioned a little earlier, kept a couple of outfits from Curious Cater.
- 30:49Eric: So what's the coolest thing that you've ever kept from a, from a production that you did?
- 30:54Eric: It could be clothes.
- 30:57Eric: It could be stole, like the car that was in there or out of here or something like that Can you imagine?
- 31:05Jaycie: No, I've never.
- 31:06Jaycie: I've never taken a prop before I would have to say, yeah, wardrobe, if I, if I really fall in love with something, I'll chat to the wardrobe and sometimes they'll give us like a really, really deep discount on it and sometimes we'll just kind of let us walk away with it, depending on you know budgets and whatnot.
- 31:22Jaycie: But yeah, I've got some really good, really good wardrobe.
- 31:25Eric: So, thinking of all your characters, you're back in the spot.
- 31:28Eric: Who's the one character?
- 31:29Eric: Who's a wardrobe like you?
- 31:32Eric: Look that you just liked the best.
- 31:36Jaycie: And, if you liked, it the best?
- 31:37Eric: do that mean it would mirror your look, or was it like maybe a character's looking like?
- 31:42Eric: Ooh, I kind of liked that character.
- 31:43Eric: It's not necessarily me, but I like the character.
- 31:46Jaycie: Yeah, I think the first thing that comes to mind is the wardrobe in Mrs Maisel.
- 31:53Jaycie: I don't know if you've seen that show, so it's very period, just like beautiful old vintage dresses and, you know, the pillbox hats that match the coat, that matched the dress, that matched the purts off, very kind of put together.
- 32:07Jaycie: I absolutely loved, loved, loved, loved the wardrobe on that show.
- 32:11Jaycie: So, granted, it's not my like, my everyday style, but from like an entertainment aspect, if I had to choose I would say that that show I thought you were going to go with blockbuster, but my little tie with the cars on it.
- 32:27Jaycie: They nailed that one.
- 32:28Jaycie: I will say just the humor of that was pretty smart, yes.
- 32:33Eric: Okay.
- 32:33Eric: So they're going to do a film.
- 32:37Eric: You know these music films like the one about Queen and Elton John and everything.
- 32:42Eric: They're going to do one about LaFavor, lafavor.
- 32:45Eric: Yes, who are they going to cast as your dad?
- 32:50Jaycie: Oh my gosh, who would they cast as my dad?
- 32:55Eric: Obviously this is like 1970s dad.
- 32:57Jaycie: Yes, yeah, are you familiar?
- 33:04Jaycie: With an artist called Yanni Wait the old like he's a Greek?
- 33:08Jaycie: Yeah, yeah, he does.
- 33:09Jaycie: He's a pianist and they they have like a huge band.
- 33:16Jaycie: If you want to look it up, yanni live at the Acropolis was, like my favorite A filmed concert when I was a kid and my brother and I used to just sit and watch it all the time.
- 33:28Eric: Yeah, and I think for me, we thought you were kind of like yeah, he's kind of like you were like yeah, yeah, I thought that was kind of the culture of being that he's a musician and a performer.
- 33:39Jaycie: If anybody was going to play my dad, it would be Yanni?
- 33:43Eric: Yeah, but he's your dad's age, so if your dad by as well playing.
- 33:47Jaycie: We need something like contemporary one.
- 33:48Jaycie: Oh, you need a younger one.
- 33:49Eric: Oh, everything, okay.
- 33:49Eric: Who would be a good guy?
- 33:50Eric: Yes, like 1977.
- 33:54Jaycie: I gotta think of somebody who can also sing too.
- 33:56Eric: That's just a tall order.
- 33:57Eric: Duplicate Mandalay lyrics.
- 33:59Jaycie: You can't gotta go.
- 34:00Jaycie: You know, honestly, it would be my brother.
- 34:03Eric: Did you brother?
- 34:04Jaycie: brother, he does, yeah, he's a doctor.
- 34:06Jaycie: He's a musician, he does improv, he writes.
- 34:10Jaycie: He's very, very talented.
- 34:11Jaycie: So I think it would be my brother, yeah.
- 34:14Eric: All right, there we go.
- 34:15Eric: That's going to be the big hit of the spring.
- 34:18Eric: Probably it's getting a lot of Oscar buzz already.
- 34:20Jaycie: I heard so I'll have to let my dad know.
- 34:25Eric: So you've been in both romcoms and mystery.
- 34:28Eric: I can't really give you the lead in a mystery because Marla would have to go away.
- 34:33Eric: So you're getting your choice.
- 34:35Eric: Would you rather be the lead in a romcom or a drama?
- 34:39Jaycie: Oh, romcom, absolutely Okay.
- 34:42Eric: Yes.
- 34:43Jaycie: I got, I got to have.
- 34:44Jaycie: I gotta have the little comedy flares in there.
- 34:47Jaycie: It's just kind of what I do in my daily life.
- 34:50Jaycie: So I think the most I would be the most comfortable in a romcom.
- 34:54Eric: Okay, all right, you're getting ready for your scene.
- 34:56Eric: Do you have like any special routines that you do to get ready?
- 35:00Eric: Do you la la, la la vocal?
- 35:04Eric: Trails and warm up going to, going to method and just start screaming at people.
- 35:08Jaycie: Oh, my gosh.
- 35:09Jaycie: No, I don't.
- 35:09Jaycie: I don't advocate for method.
- 35:11Jaycie: It works for some people but I'm not a huge fan for me.
- 35:13Jaycie: But no, most of my preparation goes in Before I, before I even get to set.
- 35:19Jaycie: I do all of my character breakdown, my script breakdown, sort of figuring out the beats and, and you know, general delivery of how I kind of see things.
- 35:29Jaycie: I do all of that work before I even step on to set.
- 35:32Jaycie: So once I'm actually there and in front of the cameras, I don't even have to think about it.
- 35:36Jaycie: I've already done all of that work and it's in subconsciously in my brain so that I can just be present and there and reacting off of what the other actors are giving me.
- 35:47Jaycie: So yeah, unless it's like a super emotional scene or somewhere where I have to get sort of kind of you know deep, deep inside my head, I'll kind of maybe go off into a corner and pick some songs that put me in that mood.
- 35:59Jaycie: But really, if it's, if it's just like a, you know, a typical Marla scene where I'm just coming in and being like the quick comedy thing, all that work has been done prior, prior showing up.
- 36:10Jaycie: Okay, so you did bring it up.
- 36:12Eric: So what song is putting you in that like deep, depressing mood, like what's the saddest song out there that you have made?
- 36:18Jaycie: Oh, my gosh, there's a really good one called Mad World.
- 36:22Jaycie: It's quite somber and really slow.
- 36:27Jaycie: Some minor chords, I think that would be like my number one go-to for sort of getting you in that kind of slower emotional state.
- 36:37Eric: So when we talked to Brennan he did say one of the things when you're doing Hallmark movies and you mentioned this before about the 15-day shoot is that some actors just really kind of freak out because of the pace everything goes at in Hallmark and in the Hallmark versus some other ones where you have a lot more time.
- 36:56Eric: So when you say you do all your prep beforehand so you just show up and you can roll and that's why Brennan said he thought he's been successful is he can just get there, boom and roll.
- 37:07Jaycie: Oh yeah.
- 37:09Eric: How you said, you just do your prep ahead of time.
- 37:13Eric: So how much ahead do you actually get the scripts?
- 37:17Eric: I mean, the scripts are often coming out pretty close to the production too, so it doesn't seem like you probably have too big of a window.
- 37:23Jaycie: Well, you get the first draft right.
- 37:25Jaycie: You get the first draft of the scripts probably anywhere from two to three weeks before shooting, and that's generous.
- 37:34Jaycie: It's usually like two to a week and a half before.
- 37:37Jaycie: So even leading up into that time, after you've gotten the draft you'll get you know, rewrite second draft or draft.
- 37:45Jaycie: So some things will change.
- 37:47Jaycie: But yeah, it's usually about a week and a half to two weeks to do it.
- 37:53Eric: And so you said there and you just walk around the living room and sort of practice your lines with your dog and stuff.
- 37:59Jaycie: Yeah, with Rolo who's sleeping in the chair next to me.
- 38:03Jaycie: And so you know, for my process, just to get the lines in my head and memorization, I will, I will record myself saying the other characters lines and then leave a space for me Marla or whatever character I'm preparing to speak my lines and then I'll just kind of run it over and over and over again until it becomes, you know, second nature, and so it's really just going through the script and writing using a technique I like to do, where you're writing the subtext in of what you know the character is thinking about the line that was just said and what motivates there them to say their next line.
- 38:40Jaycie: So you'll look at my, my sides and my script and like you can't even see any of the white space.
- 38:44Jaycie: It's all just like my notes written in, and then you find the technical stuff in, in where your jokes come in and where the beats change and all that.
- 38:54Jaycie: So it does take a lot of time, but I think, because I've been doing it for so long, I can do it fairly quickly.
- 39:00Jaycie: Brennan's probably the same able to just kind of look at something and break down a scene in a couple of minutes.
- 39:06Eric: Okay, it's walking senses on Brennan.
- 39:09Jaycie: No, no, honestly, because we didn't go around together and his, he would come in every day with his sides for the day of the scenes we were shooting and it literally was just scribbles all over it of the notes that he made, the relationships that he's established, history of the character.
- 39:24Jaycie: I mean he really really does a lot of prep work for his, his stuff, it's impressive to watch.
- 39:32Eric: Yeah, I was just, I was kidding, I know he.
- 39:34Eric: But actually when you just described it and then you said you, oh, you have, you know, typically will just be say two weeks through there, it seems like that's pretty full time job that that two weeks getting ready for that's time.
- 39:47Jaycie: We're not getting paid for it.
- 39:49Jaycie: It's funny people think all actors get paid so long.
- 39:51Jaycie: I'm like you.
- 39:52Jaycie: Really added up though, the amount of time we spend preparing an audition and then, once you actually get the job, then preparing the script ahead of time and all of those are just our own.
- 40:03Jaycie: That's our own time, that's our own hours.
- 40:05Jaycie: Right?
- 40:06Jaycie: Some, some people, maybe higher up on the food chain, can, you know, negotiate that stuff in.
- 40:11Jaycie: But for care, secondary character supporting leads, what I'm playing in the curious caterer series, that's all our own.
- 40:18Jaycie: That's all our own time, all of our own hours.
- 40:19Jaycie: So, but you know, when you get to that point, it's just for me.
- 40:25Jaycie: Personally, I'm so passionate about it that I actually love spending that time.
- 40:28Jaycie: I love doing the breakdown like.
- 40:30Jaycie: That for me is, I don't know I get I kind of nerd out on it a little bit.
- 40:35Eric: That's good.
- 40:36Eric: Yeah like obviously, yeah, that passion for it, so it's not.
- 40:39Eric: Yeah you know, work, work.
- 40:42Jaycie: No, no, not at all.
- 40:44Eric: We.
- 40:45Eric: We just talked about Brandon just a little bit, and then obviously Andrew Walker is in curious cater, who are two of the biggest male hallmark actors out there.
- 40:56Eric: So, you're on the end of this reality show and you've got to vote someone off the island who you pack.
- 41:05Eric: You got to pick one.
- 41:06Eric: I'm kicking off you.
- 41:10Eric: Kick off Andrew, who's more?
- 41:10Jaycie: horrible?
- 41:11Jaycie: Oh my good, neither they are.
- 41:13Jaycie: Both of them are just the most lovely, genuinely lovely human beings not just one percent love leader, but I will say and it's not a matter of it's not a matter of anybody being lovelier.
- 41:28Jaycie: The only, the only reason I would keep Andrew on the island is because I need him to be around so we can shoot some more curious.
- 41:34Jaycie: I think Brandon has nothing to do with a personal thing.
- 41:39Jaycie: It's literally I'm just.
- 41:40Jaycie: It's job security for me.
- 41:43Eric: Because Bren and I said Crossword Mysteries was coming back and you were taking over Lacey's role and 10, 10 guaranteed episodes.
- 41:50Jaycie: But I guess I just shot myself in the foot.
- 41:54Eric: And I know it was a, it was.
- 41:55Eric: It was meant to be the impossible question, because they are to the like we talked about earlier, to the nicest people on the planet.
- 42:02Jaycie: Yeah, they really are sorry about the sirens in the background.
- 42:05Eric: Oh no, it's there.
- 42:07Eric: See, they're coming to arrest me for asking such a terrible question.
- 42:09Eric: All right, you're showing off some of your Instapot skills earlier on your Instagram there.
- 42:16Eric: So what's what?
- 42:18Eric: What's your big recipe that you're going to make for you and Goldie do catering event, now that you have this amazing Instapot skills?
- 42:26Jaycie: Calling them skills is a bit of a stretch there.
- 42:28Jaycie: Listen, I love food.
- 42:30Jaycie: I am not a good cook.
- 42:31Jaycie: I'm really, really terrible.
- 42:33Jaycie: To be honest with you, my husband is actually the chef in the family, so I've kind of taken a step back from that role.
- 42:40Jaycie: But if I had to yeah, if I had to make anything in an Instant Pot, it would be this thing my mom used to make.
- 42:51Jaycie: It's called lazy man stuffed peppers.
- 42:53Jaycie: So essentially, you know stuff peppers where you have kind of like it's almost like a chili filling with the beans and the meat and you know the tomato sauce.
- 43:02Jaycie: So instead of taking the time to fill the peppers, you basically just chop the peppers up and throw it all into one pot.
- 43:08Jaycie: So I think that's that's the recipe that I would choose.
- 43:11Eric: Okay, a little hint when you, when you put it on the catering menu, don't call it lazy man thing.
- 43:17Jaycie: Think of a little more sexy sexy title and that deconstructed, turn it into some like astronomy thing.
- 43:25Eric: There you go.
- 43:26Eric: Okay, well, we're at the end, so times are not.
- 43:29Eric: You have to figure out what, what role you want to reprise.
- 43:37Jaycie: I think you know what.
- 43:38Jaycie: Here we go.
- 43:39Jaycie: I would want to be Sarah in labyrinth.
- 43:43Jaycie: Do you remember that movie from the 80s, david?
- 43:45Eric: Bowie Jim.
- 43:46Jaycie: Henson yeah, so Sarah was the lead girl and she was like 17 in the movie.
- 43:51Jaycie: So if I could ever pass for 17 year old, I would.
- 43:56Jaycie: That would be the character I'd want to play.
- 43:57Eric: Okay, we get to time.
- 43:58Eric: Travel, it's all good.
- 43:59Jaycie: Great, I love it.
- 44:00Eric: Okay, that you definitely went deep track on pulling out the movie there I was thinking that was my father or citizen Kane or tears or some like labored.
- 44:14Jaycie: Number one favorite movie.
- 44:16Jaycie: I literally could probably perform it at the one woman show.
- 44:18Jaycie: I've watched it so many times.
- 44:20Jaycie: But yeah, sarah, sarah would be my, my character.
- 44:23Eric: If we could do the time travel, then you get to work with David Bowie and that'd be pretty cool.
- 44:27Jaycie: I think that would be Wow, that would be amazing.
- 44:30Jaycie: He's a one can wish.
- 44:32Eric: Yeah, okay, all right.
- 44:35Eric: Well, that's all the questions.
- 44:36Eric: I had that.
- 44:37Eric: So do you have anything other than curious cater that's on the horizon, coming up, that you can tease us with?
- 44:43Jaycie: Not at the moment.
- 44:44Jaycie: With the strike and everything it's been a little quiet.
- 44:47Jaycie: But, but yeah, we're really excited to have four and five green light.
- 44:54Jaycie: I'm looking forward to seeing those scripts.
- 44:56Jaycie: I know nothing about them yet.
- 44:57Jaycie: I would love to share with you, but as soon as we do, I'm sure we can have another chat.
- 45:01Eric: I will say that when I talked to to john he doesn't know anything about it yet because he's because of the they happened and then he got approved but then the strike happened so he couldn't have any conversation.
- 45:12Eric: So he's like yeah, usually what they do is they give him like three books.
- 45:15Eric: He said he gets to choose which one and then he goes very liberally from the what takes like one scene out of the book, but I was like asking him what one snack, and he didn't even know so.
- 45:28Eric: But you should probably be fine out soon and then this actor thing straightened.
- 45:32Jaycie: Yeah well, hopefully I don't know when you're going to air this, but Monday, tomorrow, they're going back to the table, so, fingers crossed, we can get out of this holding pattern and start getting everything going again.
- 45:42Eric: Have you been in a?
- 45:43Eric: Have you been in a one of the Hallmark Christmas movies, or you just been in other seasons?
- 45:48Jaycie: When I first kind of entered the hallmark world I did a few just kind of smaller roles in in a couple of them, but I haven't done like a supporting or a really done the Christmas yet.
- 46:01Jaycie: So we're keeping fingers crossed for that too.
- 46:03Jaycie: Maybe next year.
- 46:04Eric: Yes, alright, we well, we first have to get your karaoke scene going, and then yes, priorities, priorities yes.
- 46:13Eric: Okay, alright, Jaycie.
- 46:15Eric: Well, as always, it was a blast talking to you.
- 46:18Eric: Cannot wait to watch the movie.
- 46:21Jaycie: It's like I say the first two were great and very, very excited to see the Marla donation that they're giving.
- 46:28Jaycie: Thank you so much.
- 46:29Jaycie: Thank you so much for having me.
- 46:30Jaycie: This is always really fun.
- 46:31Jaycie: Alright, that's great.
- 46:33Jaycie: Thanks, dear.
