  Speaker 4: is Behold the Lamb of God, the Savior who takes

  Speaker 4: away our sin. That's the title for today's podcast. So

  Speaker 4: we ask Father God that you will totally take over

  Speaker 4: Oh God, help us to be reinsured, Father God, with

  Speaker 4: your word. This morning, we ask Father God, Oh Lord,

  Speaker 4: that you send this podcast out, this episode out, Lord God,

  Speaker 4: there today. Guess what today is. It is September to

  Speaker 4: twenty third, September to twenty third, and there's a lot

  Speaker 4: of buzz going around on the internet. And there's a

  Speaker 4: preacher that I know of. I don't know how many
• 6:31
  Speaker 4: are doing it, but there's a preacher out there who
• 6:35
  Speaker 4: has been predicting that something was going to happen on
• 6:39
  Speaker 4: this date, the predicting the rapture is going to happen
• 6:45
  Speaker 4: on this date. You got people who are selling everything.
• 6:50
  Speaker 4: They're selling their houses or homes, they're giving stuff away. Actually,
• 6:56
  Speaker 4: this uber driver, somebody just gave this Uber driver money
• 7:02
  Speaker 4: in a house is randomly right because of what this
• 7:07
  Speaker 4: man is saying. And this man is challenging those who
• 7:12
  Speaker 4: would oppose him and even use the word of God.

  Speaker 4: And his statement is so bold that it is coming
• 7:20
  Speaker 4: directly from the mouth of God. Like this is how
• 7:25
  Speaker 4: bold he is with this statement. Okay, all I'm gonna
• 7:31
  Speaker 4: say is this, the word of God is the final authority.
• 7:41
  Speaker 4: And I want you to take time out, even if
• 7:46
  Speaker 4: you need to pause this podcast and look up Acts
• 7:50
  Speaker 4: chapter one, verse seven. Acts chapter one, verse seven. That's
• 7:55
  Speaker 4: all I got to say, look that up, and let's

  Speaker 4: stand on the word amen. But I also want to

  Speaker 4: say this, This should cause us to be ready. God
• 8:12
  Speaker 4: calls us to be ready on that day or hour

  Speaker 4: right when he comes back. Will you be ready? Will

  Speaker 4: I be ready? You shouldn't get alarmed when people predictates,
• 8:30
  Speaker 4: because we should always be ready. So on the twenty fifth,
• 8:38
  Speaker 4: there should be some serious accountability, right, some serious accountability.

  Speaker 4: But all right, I'm just gonna hold my tongue there,
• 8:51
  Speaker 4: and I'm just gonna be faithful to God's word. And
• 8:56
  Speaker 4: that is verse twenty nine. The book of Chapter one. Amen.

  Speaker 4: And it says, now you know, of course, the Book
• 9:08
  Speaker 4: of John breaks down the deity of Christ. It speaks
• 9:12
  Speaker 4: about the word that became flesh. It also speaks about
• 9:21
  Speaker 4: the beginning of the ministry of Jesus Christ, and John
• 9:29
  Speaker 4: the Baptist comes on the scene. John the Baptist says
• 9:33
  Speaker 4: that he is not worthy to unloose his sandal strap.
• 9:38
  Speaker 4: Now that is humility. John the Baptists had a very
• 9:44
  Speaker 4: successful ministry, and he was baptizing, getting people ready and
• 9:50
  Speaker 4: prepared for the coming of the Lord. He came in
• 9:53
  Speaker 4: the spirit of Elijah, and so John a Baptist is
• 9:58
  Speaker 4: still on the scene. He still as his disciples ministring,
• 10:02
  Speaker 4: but his whole ministry was the point people to Jesus,
• 10:07
  Speaker 4: and that is our whole ministry as well. That ministry
• 10:12
  Speaker 4: should be continuing today. And so that's where we pick
• 10:18
  Speaker 4: it up. In verse twenty nine, it says the next day,
• 10:23
  Speaker 4: John saw Jesus coming towards him and said, behold the
• 10:29
  Speaker 4: lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.
• 10:35
  Speaker 4: Now that right there, let's pause. That is powerful. Amen.
• 10:42
  Speaker 4: Now this is one of the most powerful declarations that
• 10:49
  Speaker 4: you'll find in the Testament. John the Baptist here he
• 10:54
  Speaker 4: identifies Jesus as the sacrificial lamb. Now he's fulfilling centuries
• 11:03
  Speaker 4: of Jewish prophecy and temple imagery. You see every time
• 11:09
  Speaker 4: they sacrifice the Old Testament lamb, when they did sacrifices
• 11:17
  Speaker 4: in the temple, it was predicting. It was looking forward
• 11:23
  Speaker 4: to this very moment here. It was just a foreshadowing
• 11:27
  Speaker 4: or an example of what was actually going to take place.
• 11:33
  Speaker 4: Jesus isn't just covering sin temporarily like the animal sacrifices did.
• 11:41
  Speaker 4: He comes to take it completely away. Hallelujah. Right there,
• 11:48
  Speaker 4: is what we need to praise God. That's the difference.
• 11:52
  Speaker 4: And this is what God has done for us. He
• 11:55
  Speaker 4: came to completely take away our sins. And once we
• 12:00
  Speaker 4: understand this, and once we know this and we understand
• 12:03
  Speaker 4: the Christ that had to be paid for, that that
• 12:08
  Speaker 4: will motivate us not to go back to our sin. Amen,
• 12:15
  Speaker 4: that will motivate us to appreciate in value this gift
• 12:20
  Speaker 4: even more. And I checked this out. Though John didn't
• 12:26
  Speaker 4: call Jesus a warrior, and he did not call him
• 12:29
  Speaker 4: a king. He didn't say that here comes the miracle worker,
• 12:34
  Speaker 4: though he is all those things. He is all that
• 12:39
  Speaker 4: and more. But he calls him the lamb in humility
• 12:46
  Speaker 4: and sacrifice, salvation, all wrapped up in won. Now, in Greek,
• 12:53
  Speaker 4: the word takes away is ira ai r o i
• 13:01
  Speaker 4: a l I believe that's how you pronounce it, But
• 13:06
  Speaker 4: it means to lift, to carry, to remove. Jesus isn't
• 13:14
  Speaker 4: just covering our guilt. He's lifting the whole weight of
• 13:20
  Speaker 4: it off of us. He's lifting the whole weight of
• 13:25
  Speaker 4: your sin off of you. So whenever, so whatever sin
• 13:33
  Speaker 4: you think you're you're you're stuck in that. You think
• 13:36
  Speaker 4: you're trapped in whatever you're dealing with. When it seems
• 13:41
  Speaker 4: so hard of a struggle to break free and can
• 13:46
  Speaker 4: be lust, maybe anger, bitterness, addiction. Jesus has already carried
• 13:54
  Speaker 4: it away on the cross. Don't get back up, Amen.

  Speaker 4: When he say that again, do not take it back up.
• 14:10
  Speaker 4: Jesus wouldn't command us to do something if he was
• 14:15
  Speaker 4: not willing to give us the power to obey that command. Amen.

  Speaker 4: And Jesus would heal people. He would say, go and
• 14:22
  Speaker 4: sin no more. It is possible for us to do
• 14:27
  Speaker 4: this because he commanded, he instructed it, and he will
• 14:32
  Speaker 4: help us be encouraged. Amen. Alalujah I Verse thirty and
• 14:39
  Speaker 4: thirty one. This is he whom I said after me,
• 14:44
  Speaker 4: and comes a man who is preferred before me, for
• 14:48
  Speaker 4: he was before me. I did not know him, but
• 14:52
  Speaker 4: that he should be revealed to Israel. Therefore I came
• 14:58
  Speaker 4: baptizing with water. Now I believe that's pretty amazing that
• 15:05
  Speaker 4: John the Baptist said he did not know him, knowing
• 15:08
  Speaker 4: that they are cousins. As we read the story of
• 15:12
  Speaker 4: Elizabeth and Mary, and when Elizabeth went to visit John
• 15:18
  Speaker 4: the Baptist in his very wound, John the Baptist leaped
• 15:23
  Speaker 4: for joy that the presence of the Lord was there. Hallelujah,
• 15:28
  Speaker 4: how amazing that is. But even growing up, John didn't
• 15:35
  Speaker 4: know right It says, right here this is he. I said,
• 15:45
  Speaker 4: after me comes a man who is preferred before me,
• 15:51
  Speaker 4: For I was, Uh, where am I where I'm at?
• 15:55
  Speaker 4: For he was before me. I did not know him
• 16:00
  Speaker 4: that he should be revealed to Israel. Therefore I came
• 16:03
  Speaker 4: baptizing with water. So he came so that he could
• 16:07
  Speaker 4: be revealed. So I'm pretty sure. Now this is my opinion.
• 16:12
  Speaker 4: I'm just speculating. I'm pretty sure that he knew his cousin,
• 16:19
  Speaker 4: but the revelation wasn't fully there. In order to get
• 16:23
  Speaker 4: the full revelation, he had to start baptizing. He said.
• 16:27
  Speaker 4: That was his purpose, but so that the Messiah can
• 16:31
  Speaker 4: be revealed. Now John's saying, I didn't even fully know
• 16:37
  Speaker 4: him until God show me. Now that's deep. Some of
• 16:44
  Speaker 4: us might be around Jesus all our life. We could
• 16:50
  Speaker 4: be in church, around a Christian family. We can have
• 16:55
  Speaker 4: a Christian family growing up, family members, but you won't
• 17:00
  Speaker 4: see him for who he is until God reveals him
• 17:05
  Speaker 4: to your heart. We can be in that same situation.
• 17:13
  Speaker 4: That's why prayer and the word is the key. This
• 17:20
  Speaker 4: is not about head knowledge, it's about revelation. It's about
• 17:27
  Speaker 4: God himself revealing himself to us. Amen, hallelujah il Verse
• 17:39
  Speaker 4: thirty two through thirty four, and John Boyd Winn is saying,
• 17:45
  Speaker 4: I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove,
• 17:49
  Speaker 4: and he remained upon him. I did not know him,
• 17:55
  Speaker 4: but he who sent me to baptize with the water
• 17:58
  Speaker 4: said to me, upon whom you see the spirit descending
• 18:02
  Speaker 4: and remaining on him? This is he who baptized with
• 18:08
  Speaker 4: the Holy Spirit. And I have seen and testified that
• 18:15
  Speaker 4: this is the Son of God. Come on, that's a
• 18:24
  Speaker 4: revelation right there.
• 18:30
  Speaker 3: It looks like you lost another one.

  Speaker 4: Now. The Spirit de singing like a dove was a
• 18:41
  Speaker 4: visible confirmation of Jesus's deity and man. Now unlike temporary
• 19:00
  Speaker 4: annointing scene in the Old Testament, we would see the
• 19:05
  Speaker 4: spirit come upon people, but it was a temporary thing. Right,
• 19:12
  Speaker 4: the spirit remains on Jesus Christ permanently. It says, the
• 19:17
  Speaker 4: Spirit came and the Spirit remains. Hallelujah. And that is
• 19:21
  Speaker 4: the blessing. Thank you, Holy Spirit. I invite you to
• 19:25
  Speaker 4: come and I invite you to remain. Thank you Lord.

  Speaker 4: I feel the Holy Spirit even now, Thank you Jesus.

  Speaker 4: Praise yes, sure, hallelujah. Now the Spirit remains on Jesus permanently.

  Speaker 4: This was the mark of his divine authority. Now catch

  Speaker 4: that the Spirit just doesn't visit, right Jesus. He doesn't

  Speaker 4: just visit him, He remains on him. Now that word

  Speaker 4: means to abide, to stay, and to dwell. That's what
• 20:10
  Speaker 4: Jesus wants for us to do. Let me say that again,

  Speaker 4: that is what Jesus wants for us to do. If

  Speaker 4: the spirit wants to abide, to remain and to dwell,
• 20:28
  Speaker 4: how much more should we desire to abide, to remain
• 20:34
  Speaker 4: and to dwell in the presence of our Savior. Amen.

  Speaker 4: He doesn't just want a Sunday morning holy Spirit high,
• 20:48
  Speaker 4: but a daily abiding John seals it with his testimony.

  Speaker 4: This is the Son of God, no doubt, no hesitation,

  Speaker 4: this is all facts. Amen, hallelujah. Now I want to
• 21:13
  Speaker 4: say this while we're on this note. I want to
• 21:21
  Speaker 4: be transparent and I do want to always want to
• 21:25
  Speaker 4: be transparent and honest when I minister my testimony. I
• 21:33
  Speaker 4: got saved at the age of fifteen years old. Now,
• 21:36
  Speaker 4: this is a long time to be walking with the Lord, right,
• 21:41
  Speaker 4: there should be some growth, there should be some things happening.
• 21:45
  Speaker 4: But my development has been very slow. It hasn't been
• 21:49
  Speaker 4: like it should be. And I'm just my eyes are
• 21:53
  Speaker 4: are opened to a lot of areas where I've lacked
• 21:57
  Speaker 4: for years. I believe actually there's times where I could
• 22:03
  Speaker 4: have went to hell, quite honestly, in ministry, and by
• 22:10
  Speaker 4: the grace of God, God has shown me this. God
• 22:13
  Speaker 4: is teaching me and training me. And what I'm trying
• 22:16
  Speaker 4: to say is this, you can be in ministry. I
• 22:21
  Speaker 4: have a passion for what I do for music, concerts, events.
• 22:26
  Speaker 4: It's fun. It's a fun ministry and I've always had
• 22:29
  Speaker 4: a passion for music. But even when I was doing
• 22:32
  Speaker 4: the club, I would find myself getting so busy. Right,
• 22:40
  Speaker 4: I'm getting busy, busy, busy, show up to show, event
• 22:44
  Speaker 4: after event, outreach after outreach, And what did I neglect?
• 22:52
  Speaker 4: I neglected my intimate time is easy to do and beloved,
• 23:01
  Speaker 4: I want to say this, this is the challenge, this
• 23:04
  Speaker 4: is the struggle. Because our flesh doesn't want it, our
• 23:07
  Speaker 4: flesh does not want to stay, remain and abide. The
• 23:13
  Speaker 4: only way that we can abide is by establishing our
• 23:20
  Speaker 4: prayer time. Start with at least one hour with the
• 23:24
  Speaker 4: Lord in prayer. And there's something there to help you
• 23:30

  Speaker 4: He says that if you don't abide in Me, you'll

  Speaker 4: be cut off as a branch. You will wither up

  Speaker 4: and die and be burning into the fire. Now there's

  Speaker 4: a teaching out there, Once Saved, Always Saved. There's another
• 24:28
  Speaker 4: teaching out there saying that you can lose your salvation.

  Speaker 4: But what I believe in is abiding in Christ because
• 24:38
  Speaker 4: that's the word of God. We are called to abide.

  Speaker 4: So we got to have our own personal alter. Do

  Speaker 4: you have an altar? Do you have a prayer closet?

  Speaker 4: Do you have intimate space where you can spend time
• 24:58
  Speaker 4: with the Almighty? Do you have that secret place? Belove
• 25:03
  Speaker 4: it without it? Remember I believe it's Matthew chapter seven.

  Speaker 4: It says, did I not prophesy your name? Did I
• 25:17
  Speaker 4: not do many wonderful works? Did I not cast out
• 25:22
  Speaker 4: devils in your name? And Jesus says, I never knew
• 25:27
  Speaker 4: you apart from me, you who work iniquity. To know someone,
• 25:33
  Speaker 4: you have to spend time. You have to be intimate.
• 25:37
  Speaker 4: He wants us to abide in him and with him.
• 25:42
  Speaker 4: He wants the spirit, wants to remain. They didn't have
• 25:46
  Speaker 4: this in the Old Testament. How much more accountable as
• 25:50
  Speaker 4: New Testament saints are we going to be? We have
• 25:55
  Speaker 4: something that they desire to have in the Old Testament.

  Speaker 4: We really have no excuse. So let's hold each other accountable.

  Speaker 4: I understand that. I get it. I get the struggle.

  Speaker 4: I get working up late for work and praying in

  Speaker 4: the car. I get it. I get it. We got

  Speaker 4: to go to disappointment, that appointment and not have time

  Speaker 4: to pray. I get it. You know we're busy going

  Speaker 4: to church, you're doing outreach, you're doing good things. But
• 26:26
  Speaker 4: we neglect the righteous thing, and that is putting God first.

  Speaker 4: And I pray that everyone who listens to this podcast

  Speaker 4: today a release an anointing to where God becomes a
• 26:42
  Speaker 4: priority and we find the time to pass through our
• 26:45
  Speaker 4: flesh and to fight through every demonic entity that would

  Speaker 4: hinder our prayer life. Let this anointing go through and
