Art Hains, Retiring Voice Of The Bears
A true Ozarks legend is taking his final bow. Art Hains, the longtime Voice of the Missouri State Bears, joins Around the Ozarks Sports Scene with host Scott Puryear to reflect on nearly 50 years behind the mic. Art talks about the highlights of his remarkable broadcasting career, the honor of calling Saturday’s MSU football game against his alma mater SMU, and his inspiring comeback to the airwaves after a near-fatal illness. It’s a real conversation with a Hall of Fame voice who has defined sports radio in the Ozarks for generations.
