ICE Protest Turns Violent in Aurora | Dayton News
A protest outside an ICE facility in Aurora, Colorado, turned deadly when 42-year-old Brandon Booth—off-duty GEO Group employee—allegedly shot a protester during a confrontation blocking facility access. The woman, who suffered a shattered ankle, is not in life-threatening condition. Booth was arrested nearby and placed on unpaid leave by his employer. Authorities are urging witnesses to come forward as charges are expected soon. Police reaffirmed that while constitutional rights matter, violence has no place in protest.
