- 1:41SPEAKER_01: Trust the gun to the darkest.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: The darkest seasons.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: Oh, don't worry.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Don't worry.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: For his anger endures for a moment.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: In other words, God, yes, he gets angry with us, but he don't hold on to the anger.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: His favor is life.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: But weeping may endure for a night.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: But joy comes in the morning.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: That's in Psalms 30 and verse number five.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: Let us know that God's mercy exceeds his judgment.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: His mercy comes to us.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Yes, his anger.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: He gets upset with us.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: But it's for a moment.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: All we have to do is come to him and ask him the Lord to help us.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: That's what he's waiting on.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Take us through our night seasons of life.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: I remember Paul and Silas, it says in Acts 16 chapter, and at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed and sung praises unto God.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: The prisoners heard them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: So that the foundation of the prison was shaken.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: And immediately all the doors was open, and everyone's bands were loose.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: You know, God is with us even in our midnight seasons.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: As we pray, trust, and then we wait on Him.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: He gives us the strength and hope for the morning.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: So I said from midnight to morning, hold on.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: Your breakthrough is coming.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: We gotta trust God through our darkest seasons.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Oh hallelujah.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: All of us know that what it is to experience the nighttime.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: The sun goes down, darkness covers the earth, and we wait for the morning light.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: But there's also seasons of darkness that has nothing to do with the time of the clock.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: You can experience midnight at 12 o'clock in the afternoon.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: Are you listening?
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: You can be surrounded by people and still feel alone.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: You can be smiling on the outside while you're struggling on the inside.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: So that let me know that midnight season is a time when life becomes difficult.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: The way ahead seems unclear.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: And you wonder when things will change.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: You ever went to the doctor and get a bad report?
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: You're doing good, feeling good, and all of a sudden go to the doctor, and doctor, oh, you know you got cancer, you know.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: And then it's at the third, fourth stage.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: Get some bad news like that, it will bring you right down if you're not careful.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: Loss of a loved one, a child that just gone astray, you know, done just about everything you could do for them, raised them in the church, give them the word of God, and now they just go astray out like they don't know God.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: You're gonna invest it all that time.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: You in the hospital, kids won't come see you, raise them, send them to school.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: That's a midnight.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: And then financial pressure.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: Yes, my God.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: Money's not coming in, you've been cut off, uh lost your job.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: You're gonna have trouble in your your marriage or trouble in your family.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: Those are midnight times.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: Disappointment after you after you've done your best.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: A prayer you have prayed over and over without seeing an answer.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: Somebody might be asking, Bishop, how do I get from from midnight to morning?
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: Well, the first thing you to know is this.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: You do not have to make a journey alone.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: Thank God.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: God is with me in my night.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: Are you with me?
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: God is with me in my night, in your night season of life.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: He tell me hey, cool.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: Yes, sir.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: Yes, Lord God.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: I'm reminded of of uh this in the book of Isaiah.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: Book of Isaiah, verse 41, verse uh, verse number 10.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, hallelujah.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: Fear not, he says, I am with you.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: It's good to know when God is with you.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: You know, you may not always feel him, but you know he's there.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: And our problem is it's in the feelings, is in the emotion.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: I want to feel him.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: But you gotta know, Paul said, I know in whom I believe.
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: And then he says this I will strengthen you.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: Yes, I would help you.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: Yes, I would uphold you with my righteous right hand.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: That's the promise of God.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: Let you know he's with you.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: Don't you be dismayed.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: I'm your God.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna strengthen you, I'm gonna help you, and I'm gonna uphold you.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, Dama, Satiya, canisa.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes, Lord.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: Well God, what type of God did we serve?
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: A God, hallelujah.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes, Lord.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: Weeping may endure for a night, David says, but my joy coming in the morning.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: He did not say that would be no weeping.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: He did not say the night would never come.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: But he reminds us that sorrow does not have the final word.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: In Acts 16, Paul and Salah showed us what it looked like to trust God in the middle of a midnight situation.
- 9:39SPEAKER_01: God is with you at midnight.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: Tell somebody that.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: Tell you, God is with me even in my midnight.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: Hold on, morning, morning is coming.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: In Acts 16, Paul and Silas was in Philippi doing the work of the Lord.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: Paul had delivered a young woman who had been uh uh possessed.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: And while she was telling people fortune, um uh she was working, she was working for these men, and they profited from her ability to predict the future.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: When those men realized that their hope of their financial gain was gone, what did they do?
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: They seized Paul and Silas and brought them before the authorities.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: The crowd rose against them, their clothes were torn off, they was beaten, they were thrown into prison.
- 10:47SPEAKER_01: The jailer placed them in the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stock.
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: Paul and Silas was wounded.
- 10:57SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: They was come confounded.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: They was in an uncomfortable, uncertain place.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: Then came midnight.
- 11:11SPEAKER_01: But listen to what they did at midnight.
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: And at midnight, oh hallelujah.
- 11:18SPEAKER_01: This is an example for us to follow, even in our midnight situation.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: They prayed and they sang praises unto God, and the prisoner heard them.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: That teaches us that a dark situation does not have to uh silence your faith.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: Let's just look at the seven things we can do as God brings us from our midnight uh tomorrow.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: Remember that God is with you at midnight.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: Remember that.
- 12:01SPEAKER_01: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: That's Psalm 46 and 1.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: One of the hardest things about midnight season is the feeling that you are alone.
- 12:18SPEAKER_01: You may look around and see the problem, but you cannot see the solution.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: You may wonder whether anyone understands what you're carrying.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: But the psalmist declared that God, hallelujah, is a very present help in trouble.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: He's not merely a help before trouble, he is not merely a help after trouble, but he's a present help in trouble.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: As I said on yesterday about Joseph, he experienced the betrayal and slavery and imprisonment.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: Yet the Bible says, and I love this, and in uh Genesis 39, 21, but the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: Put your name there in Joseph, in the place of Joseph.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: But the Lord is with Gregory, but the Lord is with Mary, the Lord is with Sue, James, John, the Lord, hallelujah.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: That's why I gotta stay with God.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: Joseph was in prison, but God was with him.
- 13:37SPEAKER_01: Being in difficult places does not mean that God has abandoned you.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: You may be in a hospital room, but God is with you.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: You may be in a season of grief, but God is with you.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: You might be facing a decision you you do not know how to make, but God is with you.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: The darkness around me does not mean that God has departed from me.
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: You might be going through in your in your church some situations have come up, and the enemy trying to get you to leave the church.
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: The church that you were birthed in, the church that you learned, the church that you grew up in.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: The enemy loves that.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: He loves to move pillars out of the church.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: Because he knows when he moved pillars, the church can be caven in.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: Certain pillars.
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: Pillars hold up, hold up the foundation.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: He loves to move pillars.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: People that have been in the in uh serving God for a while and serving in particular ministry for a while, he loves to move them.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: I know it's time.
- 14:57SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's time to move or move on or extend the ministry or open up another church.
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: Some people just leave out of bitterness because they never learn how to go through that midnight season.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: Do you know your greatest trial is gonna be in your home?
- 15:16SPEAKER_01: Did you know that?
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: If you don't know that, I'll tell you that now.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: That's where you try.
- 15:23SPEAKER_01: You know why?
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: Because that's where your biggest love is at.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: In your home and in your church, or in the place where you worship at, those are gonna be your greatest trials.
- 15:38SPEAKER_01: Oh yes, things can happen on the outside.
- 15:42SPEAKER_01: But outside problems you can deal with better on the inside.
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: When you're bleeding on the inside, hallelujah.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: At least if you're bleeding on the outside, they know where the blood, they know what to patch up.
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: They know that this gotta be done.
- 15:59SPEAKER_01: But when you're bleeding on the inside and can't see it, oh God.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: Enemy loves that.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: He loves moving people from pillar to post.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: Loves that.
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: Because he don't want you to go through the trials of your midnight.
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: And number two, you gotta pray in the middle of your midnight.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: They prayed.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: Before the earthquake, they prayed.
- 16:33SPEAKER_01: Before the door opened, they prayed.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: Before their circumstances change, they prayed.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: They could not free themselves, but they could call on God who is with them.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: Prayer may not immediately change everything around you, but it brings you before the one who hears you and cares for you.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: Remember Hannah?
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: Hannah?
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: Hannah prayed through her pain.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: Hannah cried a deep burden.
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: She was grieved because she had no child.
- 17:05SPEAKER_01: People making fun of her.
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: But she poured out her heart before the Lord.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: She was in bitterness of soul and prayed unto the Lord and wept sore.
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: Hannah did not hide her pain from God.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: She brought it to him.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: Sometimes we think we have to find perfect words that we can pray.
- 17:25SPEAKER_01: But you can come to God just as you are.
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: You can say, Lord, I'm tired.
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: Lord, I'm hurting.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: Lord, I don't understand.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: Lord, I need you now.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: Need your help now.
- 17:39SPEAKER_01: So when you do not know what else to say, you can just simply call on the name of the Lord.
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: Hallelujah.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: Cast and all your care upon him, for he cared for you.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: Upon the Lord.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: That's the first thing you do when you're facing a midnight.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: Don't cast it on other folk.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: They can't help you.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: I know it comes a time where, you know, you you have to talk to somebody on earth and and first thing you go is go to God.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: And then let the Lord lead you if uh to someone to talk to, uh either the handle situation itself.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: I've had situations.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: I talked with the Lord, he worked it out.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: Then I had situations, uh, the Lord lead me after I first come to him, and he leads me who I could go to to help me.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: Are you listening?
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: But God is always first.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: God is always first.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: If it is a heavy enough burden uh if it is heavy enough to burden you, it is important enough to bring it to God.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: Don't stop praying at midnight.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: Number three, praise God even while you are waiting.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: Paul and Silas not only prayed, they also sung praises to God.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: Think about their condition.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: Their backs have been beaten, their feet was in the stocks, they was inside a prison, yet their circumstances could not take away from their ability to worship.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: They were in a dark place where they still knew a worthy God.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: In Psalm 34 and 1, I will bless the Lord sometime, only when I'm feeling good.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: Only when things are going in my favor.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: No, the writers say, I will bless the Lord at all times.
- 19:56SPEAKER_01: His praise shall continue to be in my mouth.
- 19:59SPEAKER_01: At all times.
- 20:02SPEAKER_01: That includes the times when the bills are, that includes the time when the bills are paid, and the times when you're wondering how you were gonna make it.
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: This includes a time when your body feels strong and a time you need the Lord to strengthen you.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: That includes a time when you under you understand what God is doing and a time when you're still waiting.
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: Praise does not mean pretending that everything is alright.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: It means remembering that God is still worthy, even when everything is not alright.
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: Lord, I may not like what I'm going through, but I thank you for staying with me.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: Lord, I may not have the answer yet, but I thank you for giving me script today.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: Lord, my heart might be heavy, but you're still my God.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: Don't wait until the battle is over to acknowledge that God, who God is with you in battle.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: I can praise him midnight.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: Another thing we gotta do is hold on to God's word when you cannot see your way.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: One difficulty about midnight is that you can cannot see as clearly as you can in the daytime.
- 21:29SPEAKER_01: So in the midnight, in the spiritual midnight, you may not know what is going, what is coming next.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: You may not you may not see how the problem will resolve.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: You may not understand what the answer is, why the answer is taking so long.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: But when you cannot see the whole road, God's word can give you light for the next step.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: Psalm 119 105 That word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my pathway.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: A lamp does not always show you every mile ahead.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it gives you just enough light to make the next step.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: And that is what some of us need today.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: Not only an explanation for everything that was happening over the next 10 years, but enough strength and direction to take the next faithful step.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: Paul confident in his storm.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: Paul was on the ship facing a terrible storm.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: An angel told him that God would preserve the lives of those on board.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: Paul then encouraged the people.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: And Acts 27, 25.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer, for I believe God, and it shall be even as it was told me.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: The storm had not stopped when Paul spoke those words.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: The wind was still blowing and the danger was real.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: But Paul held on to what God had said.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: Do not let what you see make you forget what God has spoken.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: When fear says you are alone, remember that God is your refuge.
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: When the discouragement says your labor has been wasted, remember that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: When the night seems long, remember that God's mercies are new every morning.
- 23:27SPEAKER_01: When you cannot trace God's hand, hold on to God's word.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: And also remember this.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: Receive strength for the journey.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: Sometimes the midnight season lasts longer than we expected.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: We get tired.
- 23:47SPEAKER_01: Our strength seems to run out.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: If that is where you are today here, being weary does not mean you are weak in faith.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: Even strong people get tired.
- 24:03SPEAKER_01: Yes, Lord.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: After a great victory at Mount Carmel, Elijah became afraid and exhausted.
- 24:13SPEAKER_01: He went into the wilderness, sat under a Judahful tree, and asked that he would die.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: But God cared for Elijah.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: He allowed him to rest, provide food and water.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: And he laid and slept under the Judaf tree.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: And behold, an angel touched him and said, Arise and eat.
- 24:34SPEAKER_01: Before Elijah continued his journey, he needed care.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: Somebody needs to hear this.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: Rest is not the same as giving up.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: You may need to take time to rest.
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: Talk to someone you trust.
- 24:53SPEAKER_01: Ask a family member or church leader for help.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: Speak with a counselor or medical profession.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: Let someone else share your love.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: Can't do it with everybody now.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: God can minister to us through prayer, through his words, through the care of other people.
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: It shall mounted with the wings of an eagle.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: They shall run and not be wary.
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: They shall walk and not faint.
- 25:29SPEAKER_01: God does not ask you to walk through the night without his strength.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: Are you with me today?
- 25:37SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Jesus.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: And let your faith encourage somebody else.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: And the prisoner heard them.
- 25:45SPEAKER_01: Paul and Solomon were not the only people in the prison.
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: Others was listening.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: Their prayers and praises were heard by the people and were all so confounded.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: You may not realize who is watching your life.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: Your children might be watching.
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: Your family might be watching.
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: A fellow church member might be watching.
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: Somebody who is struggling might be listening.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Your faith does not have to look perfect to encourage someone.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: Sometimes your honest testimonies, I've had some hard days, but God has helped me.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: I cried some tears, but God has kept me.
- 26:25SPEAKER_01: I needed help, and God sent people to stand with me.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: After the earthquake, the jello was afraid, but Paul called out to him and said, Sir, do yourself know we're all here.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: And dirty at first, sir, what must I do to be saved?
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: He took him to his house.
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: Took him to his house and watched their wounds, the scripts, minister to him, bleeding, fed him, and his whole household went down in the water in the name of Jesus.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: God bless you.
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: Thank you for tuning in here on GoParty Online.org.
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: Praise the Lord.
- 27:16SPEAKER_01: I'm Bishop Gregory Tucker, GT Minister of the One Way Church of Christ.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: Amen.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: God bless you.
